Talking point

Simplistic, of course, but largely true all the same.

Crowdfunder

My crowdfunder rose overnight to £180, not bad in view of the fact that I cannot publicize it on social media (I having no such accounts), and also that it has only been running for 3-4 days.

Incidentally, if anyone can share the link on Twitter/X, Facebook etc, I should be grateful. https://www.givesendgo.com/GC14J.

The official Court notification arrived today. The total amount of “costs” and “surcharge” comes to slightly less than I thought— £714, so we have already raised a quarter of that sum, thanks to the four generous souls who have donated so far. Thank all of you.

Two other crowdfunders I have favoured are also still running: Sam Melia/Laura Towler at https://www.givesendgo.com/sammelia, and Sven Longshanks (James Allchurch) at https://www.givesendgo.com/SupportSven.

French…“? As Private Eye magazine used to say, “shome mishtake, shurely?”

NATO is losing experienced soldiers due to the low attractiveness of military service Against the backdrop of the Ukrainian conflict, NATO troops are faced with a personnel shortage.

This is not so much about recruiting new recruits, but about retaining soldiers and officers who are already in service, writes Politico. European countries that rely on professional militaries are trying to make their armed forces more attractive. But this is difficult to achieve in times of low unemployment, fierce competition from the private sector and widespread use of remote work, the publication explains.

A recent report presented in the German parliament showed that 1,537 soldiers left the Bundeswehr in 2023. In addition to increasing layoffs, the German army has to deal with dilapidated infrastructure, the repair of which could cost about €50 billion, Politico notes.

French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu admitted that the difficulty of “retaining” personnel exists in many allied countries. Paris and some other NATO members hope to stimulate the military with higher salaries and social guarantees, the article notes. Money does play a significant role in keeping people in the military. But the problem is that the conditions of service in NATO armies are not that attractive. After all, chronic overtime, the inability to get home for many months and a lack of days off are commonplace there, Politico emphasizes.

If NATO were to stop interfering in Ukraine, the Middle East, and elsewhere, that shortage of personnel would not even be a problem. Meanwhile, almost all NATO states are suffering from non-European migration-invasion, and no amount of new or old soldiers will stop that, because the NWO-ZOG political leadership is encouraging mass immigration into the European space.

The former chief of the Polish General Staff said that Ukraine’s losses are estimated at “millions, not hundreds of thousands.”

More than 10 million people are missing. According to my estimates, losses should be in the millions, not hundreds of thousands. The country has no resources, no one to fight. Ukrainians are losing this war,” said Raimund Andrzejczak in an interview with Polsat News.

As I have been saying for a long time…

2024 may see a general advance by Russian forces in Eastern Ukraine. It is an open question whether the Stavka and Putin will await the 2024 UK and US elections. If there is any pause (which I doubt), 2025 will surely bring victory over the Kiev regime.

The above is a National Front political poster from, I think, the early or mid 1970s. I just saw it on Twitter/X.

So were they right or not, looking at the UK in 2024?

The voting masses, though, were indifferent. They were more interested in televised sporting contests, “talent” shows, “soaps”, Royal gossip etc. Plus ca change

Looking at it from the other side, were they basically right or not? Almost all of that (the Common Market and IRA bits are otiose now, arguably) would make a pretty good electoral appeal in 2024, about half a century later.

Big cat.

Putin’s cat?

Ayesha Hazarika too, I see.

This is Britain today.

A woman of Indian Muslim origins, who worked for a few years as a press office bod at the Department of Trade and Industry, was not very successful over about 4 years as a part-time stand-up comic, and who came second in a TV stand-up comedy talent contest.

That underwhelming career somehow morphed into her “advising” some of the leading figures in the Labour Party 2007-2015. How? Why?

By 2016, Ayesha Hazarika had picked up an MBE, been proposed but not confirmed for nomination for a peerage, was somehow inescapable on msm TV and radio politics shows for several years and, after having been vocally anti-Corbyn, was nominated for a peerage by Israel-puppet Labour Party leader Keir Starmer, finally being elevated to the (now surely totally devalued) House of Lords in 2024, at the age of 48. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayesha_Hazarika,_Baroness_Hazarika

As can be seen, the common thread through that career, certainly after 2007, seems to have been the “usual” lobby…

That is the kind of individual now making law in the UK.

I have seen Ayesha Hazarika a number of times on TV, though quite a few years ago. I never heard her say anything of interest, as far as I can recall.

“Prepping” in the vast spaces of North America, or Russia, is very different than prepping in the western or central European geographic, social, and law enforcement environment. I have blogged a bit about the subject in previous years and my thoughts can be found via the search box on the blog, or via the appropriate links on the sidebar.

[please note that the tweet to which the above tweet refers was deleted].

Police officers in Scotland are being given training to target social media posts, including re-tweets, of material deemed “threatening and abusive.”

Under the county’s new hate crime law, actors and comedians are not given a free pass to make jokes about sensitive subjects that offend people, either. The new training provided to officers, which was leaked to The Herald, requires police officers to go after anyone who produces material deemed “threatening and abusive,” which can also be communicated through “public performance of a play.”

Under the new hate crime law, people who make fun of or misgender trans people, make racial jokes or criticisms of certain religions, or criticize migrants can be prosecuted.

“The different ways in which a person may communicate material to another person are by: displaying, publishing or distributing the material, for example on a sign, on the internet through websites, blogs, podcasts, social media etc., either directly, or by forwarding or repeating material that originates from a third party, through printed media such as magazine publications or leaflets.”

The hate crime law goes on to state that “giving, sending, showing, or playing the material to another person” listing examples such as “through online streaming, by email, playing a video, through public performance of a play.” So repeat a joke you heard online, or show someone a spicy meme or commentary of a transgender person or mass migration on your livestream, and, and you too will be arrested. Source: The Herald.”

Well, if Elon Musk chances upon my blog, he can see that I have a crowdfunder to pay the costs and penalty imposed upon me last week as a consequence of my conviction for exercizing my non-existent free speech rights in the UK.

So, Monsieur Musk, should you happen to have your debit card at hand, a thousand pounds would be very nice; or, should you be in a particularly generous (and far-sighted) mood, about £10M would allow me to buy a suitable estate in the southwest of the UK as a base for a clustering of social-national individuals and communities.

https://www.givesendgo.com/GC14J.

The point being, though, that many pro-immigration, as well as “pro-Israel” and “antifascist” individuals are not sane: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/07/18/theyre-coming-to-take-me-away-ha-ha/.

Ha. However, that photo must be a fake, combining two real photos: Downing Street is in Westminster (as is shown), not in the City of London. Amusing, though.

Quite. Look at that piece earlier on today’s blog about Ayesha Hazarika. Never elected to anything, not even as a local councillor, yet now she sits in the House of Lords, posing as a “baroness”, and will be legislating as of now. No doubt when Labour’s “elected” dictatorship happens (later this year), she will be appointed to some role or other, perhaps even to a ministerial position. “Democracy”?

…and even more in 2024…

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13214251/Fury-HMRC-tax-helplines-six-months-customer-service-staff.html

HMRC has sparked fury by announcing it will permanently close tax helplines for six months and let 100 customer service staff work a three-day week over the summer.

Taxpayers will not be able to call the tax office for help with their returns from April 8 until September 30, HM Revenue and Custom has today announced.

The move comes just weeks after the Commons Public Accounts Committee of MPs condemned HMRC’s customer service for hitting an ‘all-time low’.

New figures showed how almost 1million calls went unanswered in January – typically the busiest month of the year for the service, with taxpayers rushing to file for self-assessment tax returns without triggering fines for lateness.”

Jesus H. Christ…does anything work properly in this country any more?!

Having said that, when I had (historical) tax problems and had to engage with the Revenue, well over a decade ago, especially in 2010-2011, I was quite frankly amazed to see how utterly shambolic the HMRC “service” actually was. It’s an overused term, but it was “Kafka-esque” to a degree I would not have believed had I not experienced it myself.

So now it is actually worse? Hard to believe. The one comfort I have from that very stressful period many years ago is that, soon after I got off the hook, and during the Cameron-Levita/Osborne “austerity” programme, most if not all of the HMRC staff that had harassed and annoyed me, and created problems for me, lost their jobs. Suck on that…

Still, all’s well that ends well…my income is now so low that the shambles of administration in that “service” need not concern me. My problems with “the taxman” were settled to my satisfaction in 2012.

Eight men have been sentenced over their involvement in violent disorder after trouble flared at a hotel housing asylum seekers. The court had heard there was “ill feeling” in the area following a video on social media which appeared to show an asylum seeker asking a 15-year-old girl for her phone number and for a kiss. Violence broke out outside the Suites Hotel in Knowsley, Merseyside, last year which was providing temporary accommodation for asylum seekers.

Brian McPadden, 61, of Kirkby, was jailed for three years and six months at Liverpool Crown Court.

There were gasps from the public gallery as he was jailed. Thomas Mills, 47, who brought a banner to the protest urging people to shout to get the asylum seekers out, was sentenced to two years and eight months.

Paul Lafferty, 42, was handed the same sentence while Jonjo O’Donoghue, 21, of Liverpool, was sentenced to three years and six months in a young offenders institution. Former British Army soldier Liam Jones was sentenced to 27 months while John Tippler, 59, was jailed for two years.

Warren Cullen, who was on a community order at the time of the protest, was jailed for 20 months. The judge gave Harry Boynton a 16-month suspended sentence along with 200 hours of unpaid work.

From what I heard many times in the 1970s, 1980s, Durban was a really beautiful city. After 30 years of African rule, or misrule, look at it…

From sea to land, and land to sea,

Their raging forms a fierce embrace,

All round, of deepest energy.

The lightning’s devastations blaze

Along the thunder’s crashing way;

Yet, Lord, your messengers keep praising

The gentle movement of your day.”

There is a gradually building momentum across the world: Ukraine, Israel/Palestine, and even in Europe; something big building, as when a huge wave starts to swell offshore. It has not yet crashed onto that shore, but it will crash, with huge inevitability, and huge consequences.

Morning music

Historical note

On this day in 1938, Austria became part of the German Reich, the forces of the Wehrmacht having crossed the border unopposed on the previous day, welcomed enthusiastically by crowds of Austrian people passed en route:

On the morning of 12 March 1938, the 8th Army of the German Wehrmacht crossed the border into Austria. The troops were greeted by cheering Austrians with Nazi salutes, Nazi flags, and flowers.[57]

For the Wehrmacht, the invasion was the first big test of its machinery. Although the invading forces were badly organized and coordination among the units was poor, it mattered little because the Austrian government had ordered the Austrian Bundesheer not to resist.[58]

That afternoon, Hitler, riding in a car, crossed the border at his birthplace, Braunau am Inn, with a 4,000 man bodyguard.[53] In the evening, he arrived at Linz and was given an enthusiastic welcome.

The enthusiasm displayed toward Hitler and the Germans surprised both Nazis and non-Nazis, as most people had believed that a majority of Austrians opposed Anschluss.[59][60]

Many Germans from both Austria and Germany welcomed the Anschluss as they saw it as completing the complex and long overdue unification of all Germans into one state.”

[Wikipedia]

“Most people...” in the UK etc were no doubt being informed, or misinformed, by newspapers owned by or influenced by “the usual suspects” (the “you-know-who”…). The enthusiasm of Austrians for Anschluss was therefore a shock to them.

Russia responded to unprecedented Western sanctions with an “indecent gesture” – CBC.

In early February, Vladimir Putin joked that he wanted to show a “well-known gesture” to the sanctions-imposing West, but would not do so because there were “many girls in the room.”

Instead, the Russian president boasted about the country’s economy and its ability to expand its military-industrial complex in the face of unprecedented sanctions, writes CBC journalist Briar Stewart.

Indeed, over the past two years, the Russian government has managed to circumvent sanctions and limit inflation while investing nearly a third of its budget in defense spending. He also managed to increase trade with China and sell his oil to new markets, in part by using a shadow fleet of tankers to get around a price cap that Western countries hoped would reduce the country’s military budget.

In 2022, Western countries froze Russia’s sovereign assets worth $300 billion. Then more than 16 thousand sanctions were introduced. European airspace was closed to Russian aircraft, and hundreds of Western companies left Russia or curtailed their activities.

But today there are the latest iPhones and MacBooks on Russian shelves because government and business have largely been able to adapt. Russia has relied on Asia, and especially China, as its main economic lifeline. Russia’s ability to produce weapons and use its oil money to finance them is a pressing issue for Ukraine, which is struggling with arms and ammunition shortages, and for its allies.

“However, there are no simple steps left to tighten the sanctions regime. It’s a game of cat and mouse. Any delays in making decisions on additional sanctions give Russia the opportunity to adjust its policies and its economy,” the article says.”

People do not really want Labour, but they do want rid of the present Government. The misnamed Conservative Party is toast.

The “Conservatives” have given up trying to win, or even not badly lose, the 2024 General Election. They are now focussed on giving whatever they can while they can, not to their “core voters” but to the very core of that core, the wealthiest 1% or 2%.

Ukraine has never been famous for great minds, but that quoted remark must take the biscuit for recent comments by members of the Kiev regime. That man is the Chief of their General Staff!

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable” [John F. Kennedy].

That is the level on which much of the police force seems to be, now. Incapable of doing their proper and authorized job(s), and wasting enormous time and money behaving like a poundland KGB or Stasi, spying on tweets and blogs, and “monitoring” what the British people say about the migration invasion, about corrupt and/or useless MPs, and about those “special interest groups” and cabals which hide in the shadows, controlling or influencing events to our detriment.

Ingrained supremacism…

Senator Ron Johnson: “I think it’s time for politicians in Washington to face reality.

Chuck Schumer came out of a meeting at the White House and said, ‘It’s simple, $60 billion and Ukraine will win. If you don’t give them $60 billion, they’ll lose.'”

How they plan. We’re now in a two-year bloody stalemate, and I think you really need to start asking yourself, is it worth spending another $60 billion to fan the flames of the bloody stalemate? Because every day more and more Ukrainians die, more and more Russian conscripts, more and more Ukraine is destroyed. If you care about the Ukrainian people, you should worry about this too.

We don’t have a winning strategy. The administration does not lay it out. If we are going to support Ukraine, it must be done in a way that forces Putin to come to the negotiating table and end this war. I don’t hear it at all. I hear that President Biden hasn’t even talked to Russia on this issue. And I would be very interested to know what happened in Istanbul shortly after the war began, when Boris Johnson, essentially halfway through the Biden administration, torpedoed the peace agreement.

So we really need to do a complete re-evaluation of this issue. And we should secure our own border before sending $60 billion down the rat hole to secure other countries.”

Quite. In fact, you could give the Zelensky regime USD $60BN or $600BN, and it would make no difference. “Ukraine” (Kiev regime) cannot “win”, even to the extent of “taking back” Crimea, Donetsk, and Lugansk, let alone anything more ambitious.

The present Ukraine is a failed state, and in fact a fake state.

Russian troops advance even though Zelensky says Moscow’s forces are ‘stopped’ – Newsweek.

“Russia’s offensive has been stopped,” Zelensky told French broadcaster BFM TV on Monday. “Our command, our military stopped Russia’s offensive in eastern Ukraine.”

But Western analysts say Russian troops continue to advance in the Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Kharkov and Luhansk regions. “Russian troops recently achieved confirmed successes in the areas of Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Donetsk amid ongoing positional battles along the entire line of contact on March 12,” Newsweek quotes analysts.

In the Kupyansky direction there is progress in the area of the village of Sinkovka. In the south, Russian troops are regaining positions lost during the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the summer of 2023. Fierce fighting broke out around such settlements as Robotino, Urozhainoye and Staromayorskoye.

To repel the Russian onslaught, Kyiv has mobilized some of its best units, equipped with American-made armored vehicles and tanks, Newsweek notes.

Quite right. Don’t trigger a Russia-NATO open conflict that would leave Germany devastated for the second time within 80 years.

Sage. That quotation could be a commentary on my own recent prosecution and conviction (I may appeal) for (allegedly) posting on the blog, and telling society a few socio-political and historical truths, mainly truths about “them” (((them))).

Imagine if the same were done in the halls of music, literature, philosophy, martial endeavour, science etc. There would be almost nothing left.

The news report about that scandal: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12845439/Now-police-CANCEL-Chief-Constables.html.

Read that. Turns out that, as so often, the Chief Constable in question is a woman, and moreover one who, after a business studies degree at what was then Sheffield Polytechnic, joined the police in Cambridgeshire. Her Wikipedia entry contains no detail of any interesting cases or arrests, just a careerist plod (no pun intended) upwards on the bureaucratic ladder: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Farrell.

A few more of those G.K. Chesterton quotations:

Were Chesterton to live in our own times, he would have been “cancelled” by intellectual pygmies, would probably never have been published, and would quite likely find himself having to defend nonsensical and/or malicious allegations in the criminal courts.

[G.K. Chesterton]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G._K._Chesterton.

Incidentally, Wikipedia’s piece on G.K. Chesterton contains the caveat “not to be confused with A.K. Chesterton“.

A.K. Chesterton [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._K._Chesterton] was a remote relative of G.K. and perhaps, possibly, probably (I do not know) named “A.K.” deliberately because of the connection, G.K. Chesterton then being a very famous figure indeed (who was even cited and quoted in novels such as Brideshead Revisited, published much later— 1945, in that case; Brideshead contains a scene involving a reading aloud of Chesterton’s Father Brown story, The Queer Feet [https://www3.nd.edu/~afreddos/courses/43811/queerfeet.htm]).

When, from about 1975, and at age 17 or 18, I became actively interested in contemporary British politics (in addition to my earlier and continuing interest in the Germany and Russia of the 1910s, 1920s, and 1930s), I heard tell about A.K. Chesterton at or around the League of St. George, in a couple of cases from people who had known him personally (he died in 1973).

I read a couple of copies of “A.K.’s” magazine, Candour, and carried on a brief political correspondence in 1976-1977 with some (?) Irish and certainly Roman Catholic lady who had continued the publication after the death of “A.K.”. Frankly, I did not think much of either. The young can be censorious, often too censorious.

Ah. I had forgotten that lady’s name, but am now reminded by Wikipedia, about 46 or more years on, that it was Rosine de Bounevialle. I do remember that she was based in Liss Forest, Hampshire: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candour_(magazine); https://www.candour.org.uk/.

True, but the diagnosis is very clear to many. I have been blogging and, before that, tweeting etc about it for many many years. What also matters is the prognosis, and then the treatment necessary.

I await the tweeter Embery’s defence of my rights to freedom of expression, recently violated by a Kafkaesque prosecution and conviction procured from behind the scenes by the malicious Jew-Zionist org “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, who admit in tweets and on their website that they not only had “lord” Ian Austin write to the DPP about me, but also admit that they have been targeting me for 7 years (I myself think — or know— rather longer).

Tell that to the Jewish/Israel lobby or, rather, to the police and CPS.

Ukrainian intelligence today revealed chilling images from the scene of the assassination of Ilya Kyva, a ‘traitor’ and former Kyiv MP turned Putin puppet.

Kyva, 46, was gunned down last week as he went for a walk in a supposedly safe location at a country club near Moscow – the latest of several collaborators to have been assassinated in recent months.

Images from the scene show his body lying in the snow – and the weapons supposedly used to ‘liquidate’ him were discovered hanging on a tree nearby. Video was also released apparently showing the assassin lying in wait in the snow and watching passers-by.

The SBU secret service made clear the images and footage were deliberately released as a warning to other Ukrainians collaborating with Vladimir Putin’s invading forces.

‘This is a signal to all traitors and war criminals who have gone over to the enemy’s side,’ a Ukrainian source told media.

Yes. If Farage and Tice actually fight the 2024 GE, unlike their behaviour in 2019, when they stabbed their own followers in the back and enabled “Boris”-idiot to lead the Con Party to an unmerited victory, Reform UK might manage between 15%-20%. Even 15% would sink the Con Party, leaving Con Party with about 53 seats, depending on the Lab and LibDem showing. If Reform UK can get to 20%, and if most of the extra votes come from Con Party, the latter might be left with as few as 14 MPs.

My own guess, on present showing, is that the nationwide vote for Reform UK might exceed 15%; not sure.

My other guess is that the Con Party will be left with between 50 and 100 MPs.

That, of course, will mean a Labour Party elected dictatorship.

Update, 7 December 2024

Well, as far as GE 2024 is concerned, I got it right, or almost right: Reform UK did fight the General Election and, despite the unfair/illogical FPTP voting system, got 14.29%, which gave them 5 MPs (under a pure proportional-voting system, it would have been 92 or 93 MPs).

The Con Party did get hammered, ending up with a few more MPs —121— than the 50-100 I predicted.

As for the Labour “elected” dictatorship, yes, that also happened. Despite only getting 33.7% of the voted vote, Labour now has 411 MPs (out of 650).

Diary Blog, 15 February 2023, including a few thoughts about the SNP

Afternoon music

[Brook Green, Hammersmith (London)]

On this day a year ago

Scottish National Party

As blogged previously, I do not necessarily oppose “Independence” for Scotland, but it seems that many Scots are adamantly opposed, and that either there is no majority for it or only a very small majority.

I suspect that many Scots think “what Independence?” when Scotland would probably still be in NATO (i.e. under de facto American/NWO control), still in the EU (i.e.under EU control), still subject to the diktats of international finance-capitalism, and overall almost certainly poorer per capita.

Still, if a significant majority of the Scots were to clamour for “Independence”, I would say “so go…“, but it really would have to be 60% at a bare minimum; in reality, to make it work, 75% or more.

The SNP had almost no MPs until 2015 [see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_National_Party#House_of_Commons] and has not repeated that 2015 high despite now being fairly well entrenched as ruling party. 48 out of 59 Westminster MPs, but only 64 out of 129 in the Scottish Parliament, which latter represents a vote-share below 50%, and probably represents also a truer reflection of the party’s popularity: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_National_Party#Scottish_Parliament_2.

The SNP is even less secure in terms of local councils: 453 out of 1,226 council seats in the latest elections (2022), though that is its best performance ever, and does put the SNP in first place: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_National_Party#Local_councils.

Speaking personally, for me the SNP is fake “nationalism”, having little to do with race and culture.

I do not think that the SNP will fall back to where it was before 2015. It has an electoral niche, which is a kind of social-democracy in policy terms, but underpinned by the faux-“nationalism” which sets it apart, superficially, from the other System parties “up there” (I am on the southern coast of England). The SNP of course is a System party. You only have to look at the lip-service it pays to the Jewish lobby/Israel lobby.

The SNP has also been even more repressive in terms of free speech than the Westminster regimes of recent years; Police Scotland has embraced its Poundland Stasi role with unseemly alacrity.

I imagine that many Scots, perhaps a majority, will prefer to stick with the UK rather than become poorer outside it. Whisky, tourism, and financial services cannot provide income enough to support an “independent” Scottish state, and North Sea oil/gas, even if partly under control of Edinburgh, is (arguably) a declining or depreciating asset, especially if supposedly “green” policies are pursued.

In terms of Westminster governments, though, the 59 Scottish seats are important. Without them, the UK Labour Party will find it difficult to form a government (even with SNP support), unless the presently-forecast huge landslide actually happens; such a landslide may happen this year or next but, if so, will not be repeated.

Tweets seen

The trigger for the resignation may have been the SNP’s crazed promotion of the trans nonsense, but Sturgeon was “too big for her boots” in other ways as well, pretending that she was (sort-of) a world statesman and leader of a (sort-of) state.

Nicola Sturgeon has often been compared (approvingly or not) to the New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who resigned not long ago. A lazy comparison though, arguably; after all, New Zealand is over 103,000 square miles in area, has over 5,000,000 people, and is a recognized state.

Scotland, though also having over 5,000,000 people, is only 30,000 square miles in area and, though a distinct country historically and to some extent culturally, is not a state, and has not been since 1707.

There is, though, no reason why Scotland cannot be a state again, so long as its people are willing to pay the price in various ways. It is clear, surely, that about half are not.

The most egregious lie of “Jack Monroe” must be that, when Grenfell Tower was still burning, she went there (why? 60 miles from Southend where she lives), was “waved through the police cordon” (how? why?), and pretty much took charge (why? She did at one time, long before, have a job at the Essex fire brigade, but only answering the telephone). She also claims to have had the building plans of Grenfell Tower (how? why?).

Incidentally, while (as of today) 502 utter mugs are still each sending “Jack Monroe” between £3.50 and £44 each month via Patreon, her recent book has bombed. According to Amazon, it is selling about 268 copies per month at present, and secondhand hardback copies are up for sale for as little as £7, only a month after publication.

An Israeli firm sought to influence more than 30 elections around the world for clients by hacking, sabotage and spreading disinformation, according to an undercover media investigation published Wednesday.

Following the latest revelations, Israel might also face increased pressure to rein in its cutting-edge cyberware and technology sector which was spotlighted in another media investigation led by Forbidden Stories in 2021.

It highlighted how the powerful Israeli-made Pegasus spyware had been sold by the cyber intelligence company NSO Group Technologies to governments and used against at least 50,000 people around the world.

Might be interesting, but I shall wait and buy a used copy later, hopefully for £5-£10 (needs must…the Amazon price for a new copy is £25).

Incidentally, this semi-dramatized documentary about M.R. James, narrated by the late Bill Wallis in 1995, is well worth seeing:

I am just now watching another, and more recent, documentary about M.R. James:

The scapegoat, 2021

A 95-year-old woman is to be tried in Germany. Her crime? She was the secretary of a WW2 camp commandant, in fact based (it seems) outside the camp itself.

The German police state (the present one, not the 1933-1945 Reich) has prosecuted her as a scapegoat for those now long-dead. Others have in recent years suffered similarly, such as very old men who, as boys of 18, belonged to the Wehrmacht or SS and did low-level work in concentration camp offices, or other activity. Even accountants have found themselves charged with complicity in the alleged death of thousands of Jews or others.

Of course, behind the conscienceless prosecutors of Merkel’s Germany stand the Jews and Israel, on the international level.

Another interesting contrast is between the bleeding heart pseudo-liberals and their refrain in relation to almost any criminal (that people should be treated leniently, released early etc), and the same bleaters when someone of 95 or 100 is on trial for supposed “crimes” “committed” by Germans in the early 1940s (such as shuffling paper in railway offices). Then, the “liberalism” vanishes, because the one-time 18 year old SS recruit or 18 year old secretary was “a Nazi”, i.e. was alive in the Germany of 1941-1945.

Were the 18 year old secretaries or draftees of 1945 Los Alamos (New Mexico) somehow responsible for Hiroshima and Nagasaki? No? Why not? If they were not guilty of wartme mass killing, then neither is a very old lady who was secretary to an SS commandant in 1944 or 1945 when she was 18 or 19…

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/feb/05/former-secretary-at-nazi-camp-charged-over-of-10000-people

The Guardian report even recycles the discredited “six million” stuff…

Farcically, the persecuted and prosecuted 95 year old (presently resident in a care home), will be tried in a youth court, because she was under 21 during WW2! Alice in Wonderland, in German translation.

That very old woman is a pawn in a game of “holocaust” publicity, the game being yet another ZOG Schauspiel.

I think that there may have been 10 incidents, in fact. Others say 10 stabbings in 5 incidents. Net result more or less the same. Seems that some blacks have not taken the “Black Lives Matter” mantra too seriously…

Paramedic tweeter “@peepculture” finds it a puzzle what is happening. His Twitter profile has a “rainbow” motif etc. It naturally must be puzzling or even hurtful to people who perhaps sincerely believe that a multiracial, multicultural society can work, when all human history shows that it cannot, not for long anyway.

The whole thread of comments is worth reading.

Marlene Dietrich

Saw a documentary about Marlene Dietrich [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marlene_Dietrich]. Her mentor was one Josef von Sternberg: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_von_Sternberg.

Looking at that “von Sternberg”, he certainly did not look German. I sought the answer. Wikipedia informed me that his real name was in fact Jonas Sternberg; Jew. The “von” presumably added for reasons of fashion, though I presume not camouflage (after all, most Hollywood studios were run by and riddled with Jews even in the 1930s, few of whom thought to attempt to conceal their origins).

That information led me to look at the Wikipedia page of another famous Hollywood name of the pre-WW2 era, Erich von Stroheim. Similar story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erich_von_Stroheim; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erich_von_Stroheim#Background_and_personal_life.

Damn. John Rentoul got 6/10 today, better than me, who scored only 5/10. That is only the —I think— third (maybe even second) time he has beaten me since I started doing the quiz months ago. Today, I did not know the answers to questions 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10.

UKIP, Brexit Party etc are just “controlled opposition”

I happened to see the tweets below. The first are from Gerard Batten and Henry Bolton, two of the former leaders of whatever is left of UKIP.

The other tweeters seem to have both more logic and more commonsense than the two would-be “leaders”:

https://twitter.com/blocked_forever/status/1297160925557018624?s=20

From Batten, complete lack of understanding that “race is the root-stock, culture is the flower“…

Look at this exchange:

What hope was there for UKIP, when its own former leaders are unsure whether, had they been born in Japan (eg in transit), or lived there, they would be Japanese? What a bunch of clowns!

Looks as though Batten needs to look at the Nuremberg Laws (the real ones, not the Jew-Zionist “edited highlights”…

UKIP is of course on a very different page vis a vis my own ideological basis. It never was social-national, and was never heavily attacked by the Jew element in the msm, a very bad sign (individual Jews tweeted etc against UKIP, but the core Zionist element was untroubled by it). UKIP was always given Press coverage, TV coverage; Farage the con-man extraordinaire was forever on Newsnight, Question Time, the TV news etc. Permitted opposition. Controlled opposition.

When UKIP was still a functioning party with a real chance of forming a small House of Commons bloc, I tweeted about it quite frequently. I am talking about between 2010-2015. After 2015, I understood that UKIP’s chance had gone (in fact, it peaked around 2014), cheated as it was by the UK’s pseudo-democratic electoral system: 12.6% of the national vote but only a small fraction of 1% of the MPs, in fact only 1 MP out of 650 (and he was a defected Conservative Party MP anyway).

I did blog a little about UKIP in the runup to the 2017 General Election. I knew that it would sink like a stone. The only reason that I now blog about it (for the first time in about a year) is because I saw those absurd Batten tweets. I was not going to blog today, but I can tack this bit about UKIP onto the start of tomorrow’s blog post.

UKIP has almost fallen into obscurity. Its not-bad 2015 General Election percentage (12.6%) fell to 1.8% in 2017, under the dim Paul Nuttall; that was the first decline in national vote-share that UKIP had ever suffered since its foundation. The 2019 General Election result was even worse: under the ludicrous Patricia Mountain, UKIP’s vote fell to 0.1%, i.e. one vote out of every thousand.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_United_Kingdom_general_election#Full_results

In fact, so obscure is UKIP now that I realize that I was scarcely aware of some of its leaders of recent years.

The tweet/reply below, by one Valerie Leppard, made me laugh (though at the same time despair at the naivety displayed):

Ms. Leppard makes much of the fact that human beings all have 99% similar DNA. That is true. In fact it is said to be considerably higher than 99% similarity. On the other hand, chimpanzees share 96% of their DNA with humans, cats share up to 90%, and even bananas share 60%! https://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/human-dna-share-cats-cattle-mice-same-genetics-code-a8292111.html

How far do such facts take you? I was once a guest at a private tennis club in North London. I had gone out of politeness. Despite having played occasionally since childhood, I still scarcely know the rules or how to play properly; anyone who knows me knows that I am not very sport-oriented. I did once score a direct hit from some distance with a tennis ball, on the bottom of a Ukrainian lady who had stooped to pick up another ball, but that hardly counts!

That London tennis club was rather formal. You had to wear the right clothing etc; it also had a pleasant bar, from which one could watch people playing. I saw a doubles match and, to my untutored eye, they looked not much different from the professionals who play at Wimbledon. Of course they were different, and that is the point. There was a far greater gulf between my inept level of play and the doubles-players than there was between them and the Wimbledon champions.

Champions, or the top people in every category of activity, are ipso facto better than almost all others. However, they may not be much better than a mass, perhaps a vast mass, just below that championship level. It is that tiny amount of edge that makes the difference.

Applying that to races and, yes, in big-picture “scientific” terms the DNA of the Northern European is very very close to other peoples, and even to the most backward peoples. It is that tiny difference that, all the same, matters.

In your nothing I hope to find my everything“; “In deinem Nichts hoff ‘ ich, das All zu finden“[Goethe, Faust; Faust answering Mephistopheles, who has said that Faust’s belief is nothing].

Well, leaving such observations and reverting to the mundane world of UK politics as it is, and UKIP, I notice that even Wikipedia has found little to say of some of the post-Farage “leaders” of UKIP. In one case, that of someone called Wauchope, apparently (never heard of him), even the year of his birth is uncertain!

UKIP is said still to have 25,000 members, though I doubt that.

I see that one Freddy Vachha is now the “leader” of this embarrassing joke of a party. An Indian accountant. The tide has gone out, leaving some odd bits and pieces on the sand.

Good news:

Bad news (below): the latest attack on British culture…

I always supported public service broadcasting. Still do, but the BBC is incurable. Defund the BBC and wipe it out.

We read or hear that semi-lunatic “adviser” Dominic Cummings wants Sunak to impose spending cuts. Now that millions more face being dependent on State benefits by next year, that could just be the flame which, applied to the blue touchpaper of the present developing situation, could trigger the social-national revolution.

Finance-capitalism is failing. Old-style Marxist or Marxist-influenced socialism has already comprehensively failed, in the UK and across the world. The people will be ready to clutch at our straw. Not yet. Soon, though.

Take that!

This made me laugh! Receptionist in Cornwall cries because customers do not take kindly to being lectured by a brainwashed idiot enjoying her 5 minutes of State-granted petty power: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8659063/Holiday-park-worker-pens-open-letter-abusive-staycationers-left-tears.html

Regular readers of this blog will recall the encounters I had with a couple of similar brainwashed would-be lecturing idiots a while ago.

If staff in businesses, or anyone else, act like cartoon labour camp overseers or prison guards, then they must expect to be laughed at.

Resist the facemask nonsense! Only wear a facemask if you really have no choice, and if you do wear a mask, make sure that you do so in a manner that makes it clear that you mock the nonsense and the government of clowns. Laugh at those who take it all seriously. Laugh at the rabbits!

The Army, Navy, Marines are all recruiting now on TV. They are finding it hard going to recruit many. I wonder why? Could it be that potential recruits realize that the armed services have become a joke? Also, that they abandon their people once their useful service has ended?

Take a look at Twitter. The Jewish-Zionist cabal on Twitter constantly tweets in favour of the migrant-invaders, “generously” wanting more to invade us. Yes, that Jewish mob on Twitter are all wonderfully generous with other people’s money, State funds etc, wanting the UK to take in anyone who manages to get here, no matter how hostile or useless. The same is true of “refugees welcome” dimwits and hypocrites such as Gary Lineker, Yvette Cooper, Lily Allen and all the other usual suspects.

Batten is too late. Regular readers of my blog will know that I suggested at least a year ago that Harry and the Royal Mulatta should (and would) relocate from the UK to Southern California.

I went on to suggest that they become a “reality TV” sitcom mix, perhaps living a pseudo-“royal” life in a little house; just Harry, the Mulatta, their baby, the dog (if not abandoned) and a butler, a Benson type. “Royal Married with Children“, with the Mulatta running her henpecked “cuck” husband ragged with impossible demands, as she tries to be a contender for political positions.

Sometimes I think that I am a male Cassandra, always predicting accurately, but rarely listened to…

Well, “historian” (TV presenter) Neil Oliver may be belatedly speaking up for some free speech now, but I seem to recall that he tweeted against me years ago when I still had a Twitter account. I have never seen anything from him supporting me, eg when I was disbarred for posting 5 tweets (out of 150,000+) on socio-political matters. I likewise did not see him support Jez Turner (imprisoned for making a speech) or Alison Chabloz (persecuted, prosecuted and convicted for singing satirical songs).

I also recall how biased Oliver was when some matters involving WW2 came up on his TV show, Coast.

Scotland does seem to be even worse on free speech than England. The combined influence of Jew-Zionism, freemasonry, Common Purpose (Police Scotland is riddled with both of the last two) and post-socialist SNP petty authoritarianism.

Ironic. What does Batten think that UKIP were? Quite. Controlled opposition. Just like Brexit Party, Tommy Robinson, Breitbart, “Prison Planet” Watson, Katie Hopkins etc.

Only machineguns can sort out this upsurge of madness in the USA. What it says to me is not “there is disorder now” but “if the US system ever weakens greatly, which is quite possible, there will be civil war“. Those unpleasant scenes may well be just the start.

I noticed in Waitrose that Ben & Jerry’s icecream is not selling, and has been reduced in price as a consequence. Don’t bother to sabotage it. Just boycott it.

What will that hotel (and Britain) be like in 20+ years? I wonder… https://www.theguardian.com/cities/gallery/2016/may/05/mozambique-abandoned-grande-hotel-beira-squatters-ruins-in-pictures

Although Beira is the popular resort on the Indian Ocean, the hotel has never been able to attract many visitors.

Hard to know what to think. The Greenland ice cover is vast and deep, certainly, and Wikipedia says that “If the Greenland ice sheet were to melt away completely, the world’s sea level would rise by more than 7 m (23 ft).

If that were to happen, a scenario that has interested me since the late 1970s (along with the possible melting of polar ice proper, both from Arctic and Antarctic), then most of the major cities of the world would be drowned, situated as most are on or near sea-level.

A rise of 23ft would flood much of London, New York, Tokyo, St. Petersburg, to name only a few of the most obvious.

On the other hand, we know that Greenland has been at times warmer than it now is. The Vikings farmed there; there are remains of farmsteads from quite ancient times, certainly from the first millennium AD: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenland#History.

Not all of Greenland is ice and snow, however. In that vast land, over nine times the size of the UK, there is farming, in the southern part, by the coast.

I doubt that humanity can do much to change the climate in a significant way, but the issue is naturally one of utmost seriousness.

Less seriously, I just read that “Greenlandic coffee is a “flaming” dessert coffee (set alight before serving) made with coffee, whiskey, Kahlúa, Grand Marnier, and whipped cream. It is stronger than the familiar Irish dessert coffee.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenland#Cuisine. After a few of those, the sting of living in Greenland must at least be made less painful!

Rule Britannia

If you went, as orchestral conductor, or as ordinary tourist, to another country, and then tried to trash the traditional festivals of that country, you would be jeered at and quite possibly attacked or deported. In Britain, all sorts of oddities arrive, aided by traitors in the BBC etc, and want to disrespect us. I know that Rule Britannia is now simply an expression of an Empire that no longer exists, but it does stand for part of the national psyche. The part not yet contaminated. It must not be blotted out by the “woke”, the non-whites, the cosmopolitan Jews etc. As performed at the Proms, it is both emotional and fun. It must remain.
