I am expecting a general advance of Russian armour and infantry, supported by air power, in 2024 and/or 2025. The Kiev-regime forces do not have the manpower to resist, or will soon not have. They are all now in purely defensive mode, despite the occasional missile or drone provocation attacking Russia itself.
It may be that that general advance will move west and north-west until most of Eastern Ukraine (i.e. east of the Dnieper) is occupied by Russian forces.
Kiev itself has been heavily fortified in defensive layers, including massive minefields. It may be that there will not be an attempt to storm Kiev until much later, in late 2025, or 2026.
The Kiev regime is draining armed forces personnel, arms, ammunition at a fairly rapid rate now. There may be some kind of palace revolution in Kiev, with the Jewish dictator, Zelensky, removed and forced into exile, along with his cabal and their stolen billions. At that point, peace talks may well occur and result in an armistice, even if no final or formal result or peace is possible.

People say that it does not matter what a person’s private life, sexuality, even beliefs etc may be. Only their specific ideas matter. Easy to agree with that, superficially, but it is facile in more ways than one.
Matthew Parris is typical, in a way, of the faux-“caring sharing” “Cameroon” fake “Conservatism” of the past few decades; post-Thatcherite, espousing a neo-Spartanism for the poorer part of society, and a freedom-from-responsibility ethos for the affluent and wealthy, all disguised by the said fake “caring”.
Often, though certainly not always, publicized in newspapers, and in magazines such as the Spectator, and often by affluent metropolitan gays such as Parris himself.
That kind of “Conservatism” is the polar opposite of the paternalism which characterized at least part of the old and now long-gone Conservatism.
Mrs Thatcher may now be thought of as the standard-bearer of the new pseudo-libertarian “Conservatism”, but she herself, in office, was more a product of the old order, and vacillated between the two camps, for all her expressed adherence to Hayek etc.
The tweeter cited above is right. Parris is shown, not for the first time, as someone who basically knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. His notorious column about “left-behind” areas, such as Clacton, set the tone.
Not that I disagree with all that Parris has written, such as when his column opined thus: “In May 2021, Parris called for the removal of ethnic minority status from Gypsy, Roma and Travellers, describing them “not a race, but a doomed mindset” and called for “a gradual but relentless squeeze on anyone who tries without permission to park their home on public property or the property of others” [Wikipedia].
I agree with those words, though the Irish “travellers” are not the same actual group as the various kinds of ethnic “gypsies” in the UK and mainland Europe (etc). “Travellers” of Irish origin are not an ethnic minority; the Roma, Sinta etc are.
I also agree with his view of sinister clown “Boris” Johnson: “In June 2020 Parris wrote an excoriating article on Boris Johnson saying, “He never had any judgment or strategic vision. Mr Johnson was only ever a shallow opportunist with a minor talent to amuse” [Wikipedia].
What I find disturbing about, not only Parris but also that whole strain of post-Thatcherite “Conservatism”, discounting its pseudo-“caring” camouflage, is its un-Christian, un-spiritual “throwing under a bus” of those (the old, sick, and poor) who cannot keep pace with his preferred metro-affluent new order. It reminds me, more than anything, of Stalinism, in terms of its arrogant brutality. There is something dystopian about it all. Parris himself is an atheist.

Always interesting to see the areas where such events took place. En route back across Europe by car (Turkey to UK) in the summer 2001, my wife and I stumbled upon a small family-run hotel in the Ardennes.
On its own, with no houses nearby, and on a minor road. As we dined, initially alone in the restaurant (later, one other couple appeared, but I think that we were the only other hotel guests), we were told by the waitress (a young woman, one of the owning family) that during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944, that house had been the headquarters (or one such) for the American commander, Patton, and that we were occupying the room that Patton himself had used as a bedroom during part of those times (either during or after the actual battle; the exact details were not specified).

I am not a doctor but, in my layman’s view at least, “Jack Monroe” is a type of psychopath not unknown in psychiatric literature: relentless, and likely to “double down” on her lies even after they have been comprehensively exposed as lies.
The “sue Lee Anderson and Martin Daubney” “grift” has been typical. She crowdfunded to sue them (ostensibly). She never in fact had a case, because their (I agree) defamatory (as innuendo) statements saying that “Jack Monroe” “lived off the backs of the poor” etc were, in a word, true. They were true statements (though possibly simply “mere insult”, and not actionable). Anderson and Daubney therefore had a complete defence of “truth”, even leaving aside fair comment, honest opinion etc, and the “mere insult” point. Also, had the matter gone to trial, “Jack Monroe” would have been required to disclose at least the outline of her financial affairs. She could never allow that.
It is noteworthy that the Jew lawyer, Mark Lewis, who had conduct of the libel case brought by “Jack Monroe” against Katie Hopkins years ago (a case impossible to lose; Ms. Hopkins was in the wrong, was possibly badly advised, and should have eaten crow a bit, and settled at an early stage), has in the past year not even emerged from his kennel re. “Jack Monroe”.
Lewis, now resident mainly in Israel, does not take on cases certain to fail (because he would then make no money).
It always looked like “Jack Monroe” had simply kept the “sue Lee Anderson” monies, and I shall believe that (as with her previous scams) that is exactly what happened in this case, unless and until I see at least plausible proof to the contrary.

Just monroe things. Did it before with teemill money, claimed they'd donated enough for thousands of hungry people to eat to various unnamed charities, then showed receipts for a few hundred quid to one charity.
My own impression, reading her tweets, and having seen her on TV once or twice, is that “Jack Monroe” is a dangerous woman, and one who, in other circumstances, might have been a more conventional type of criminal, or even worse.
I can't stand Lee Anderson, but Jack Monroe raised a large amount of money to sue Lee -refuses to say how much, won't provide any transparency, says she 'donated' it but won't provide proof. It's not 'trolling' to ask relevant questions. It's not the first time she's done this.

Having said that, I am more interested in the fact that, despite “Jack Monroe” claiming that reporters from “Fleet Street” were ringing her doorbell (in Essex) and looking in the windows, i.e. more or less besieging her house, to the extent that she and her son (who may not even live with her anyway; that seems to be disputed) have had to flee elsewhere, not one major news outlet has reported on “Jack Monroe” today. Interesting. I rather like Turkey, and have been there several times, both to the mainland and (once) to Turkish North Cyprus. That was what happened in the Royal Navy and the U.S. Navy.
I recall that, when I first lived in the USA, in 1989 or 1990, the first US Navy ship to go mixed-sex was deployed to the Gulf. An aircraft-carrier, I think. The sailors did not object to nearly 100 women sailors joining the crew, but their wives certainly did! With some reason: when the deployment finished, it turned out that about 90 of the —less than 100— women on board had been made pregnant…
As for the Royal Navy, it matters little now, because the Royal Navy scarcely exists as an effective force. Apart from the paucity of ships, there is the question of the quality of many of the officers and men.
I happened to see about 15 mins of a documentary about a British warship. About a third of the complement seemed to be women. The junior officers (men and women) seemed to be incredibly dim, and rather wet (in a non-oceanic way). Drunk, too.
As for the crew, their shore leave in Italy ended with many drunk and near-incapable. Admittedly, rather an old naval tradition, but it was unpleasant to see, especially, the female members of the crew so drunk that they were unable to walk, falling into the gutter in their short skirts, just as they presumably did in the “left behind” UK towns from where many of them must have originated.
It is either white rule or brutal chaos. Note that even the supposedly pro-Brit Daily Mail will not print the likely truth, that the victim was white (ie English) and the bullying thugs black and/or half-caste.

It is only the pensioner or “grey” vote that has kept the so-called “Conservative” Party in power for the past 12 years. Now, it seems that Liz Truss, woolly-head Kwarteng and the rest of the present simply ridiculous Cabinet are about to throw pensioners under a bus. However, those over-65s have a sting in their tail. Their votes may not go to Labour (or anywhere else) but even mass abstention would finish the Conservative Party.
The latest opinion polls put the Conservatives on about 20%, with Labour well over 50%.
Just 37% of 2019 Conservative voters still intend to back the party.

Of course, Labour is a poor choice, but for most voters, an election in the UK is a choice of evils. The Conservatives have just got to the point where not only have they lost all credibility, but where very many people hate them and in fact fear them. Far more than in 2010.
If the “grey vote” abandons the Conservative Party, there is actually no other demographic of any real size that can keep the party in more than dormant existence. It simply does not deserve to exist any more.

I am old enough to remember the Poll Tax riots of 1990 (though I saw them at a distance, on TV news in the United States). The population is now generally more quiescent (as witness the “panicdemic” compliance) but this might just be bigger than the Poll Tax, if people start hurting enough.
Liz Truss might have to “double and triple the guard”, before someone makes a —shall we say?— very personal and very effective “protest”.
