Diary Blog, 15 August 2020

So nearly 4,000 people daily thought to be newly infected, yet the death rate (in hospitals) is still falling: the last recorded day, 20. So as a very rough and ready measurement, about 1 person dying out of every 200 (known to be) infected. Not an exact proportion, and with many random or variable factors, but it seems about right.

It is clear, surely, that the governmental over-reaction, and particularly the facemask nonsense, is not only over-reaction but also pointless, in that the main Coronavirus wave has passed, in fact passed months ago. In any case, facemasks have little impact overall.

This virus is real enough, but the governmental reaction (over-reaction) to it (not only in the UK but in many countries) has become a massive scam, building on the initial fear in order to impose rafts of “serf-citizen” fake legislation (in the UK, not properly passed by Parliament; misusing existing laws to impose invalid secondary legislation described as “rules” etc…).

It is clear, looking at the open jubilation of the World Economic Forum that “the virus” is an opportunity to impose a “Reset” of the world, that the New World Order (NWO) cabal(s) are, if not actually behind the release of this virus in China (was it in reality released in Europe at the same time?), then certainly using it to force the people of the advanced countries into compliant citizen-serfs.

Look at this (below)!

New Zealand plod denies that he is “thought police”, yet tells the citizen that if he continues to post about “lockdown”, the government, or MPs, he will be “over the line” and will be arrested!

New Zealand! Formerly one of the most —overall— free countries in the world! All that it has taken has been a very complacent citizenry mostly interested in sports, “celebrity” nonsense etc, then mass immigration of non-whites including Middle Eastern Muslims (leading to the Christchurch/Brenton Tarrant massacre, which in turn gave the NZ government the excuse to crack down on free speech online etc), a very “woke” prime minister, Jacinda Ardern (who used to work for the Tony Blair Labour Party in London), and finally “the virus” and fear thereof (though New Zealand’s remote location —not “lockdown”, please note— has largely protected it).

The are parallels with the UK. Here, as with New Zealand (an offshoot of the UK, originally), we have a very sleepy and complacent population, mostly interested in sports (not doing them, just watching team sports on TV) and “celebrities” (so-called). The level of socio-political (let alone historical) understanding is at a very basic level.

That population has accepted mass immigration, destruction of culture, the lionization (on the BBC and in the msm generally) of inferior and malicious persons who are in many cases outright enemies of this country; the people accepted the “lockdown” (shutdown) of most of the economy and society because they were paid off via furlough payments etc; now also accepting facemask muzzles and endless repression, not only of free speech, but even of everyday life.

I note that the New Zealand policeman is superficially “reasonable”, all the more so because he is being filmed, but underneath that is the expressed threat that, if the dissident citizen continues to post disagreement with the government, he will be arrested!

True, that “iron fist in velvet glove” approach to dissidence is softer than that adopted by, say, the authorities in Belarus, which is more “iron fist and no glove” but in the end is essentially the same: “do as we say or else…”.

The facemask nonsense is being kept up and hardened because the government wants to maintain control. It has nothing at all to do with stopping the very rare transmission of “particles” etc. If the government really thought that person to person transmission by proximity was a serious problem, the pubs would not be open, because pubs are the most likely places where such person to person air transmission might occur (along with offices, which are also open and without facemasks).

Doubtful or not quite understood history. I suppose that the Soviet victory at Khalkin-Gol in 1939 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battles_of_Khalkhin_Gol] might be said to have occurred on Soviet territory; grey area. Manchuria/Mongolia. Zhukov wrote about the military aspects in his memoirs.

The Winter War between the Soviet Union and Finland 1939-40 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_War] was quite different.

A group of Finnish soldiers in snowsuits manning a heavy machine gun in a foxhole.
[A Finnish machine-gun post, 1939-40]

The Finns won in the field, despite being hugely outnumbered. Hitchens says that “they lost in the end“. In the sense that Finland was forced, as part of the “peace” treaty, to cede Karelia to the Soviet Union, yes, but Finland was able to keep its independence in the rest of its territory, and was able to help the forces of the German Reich in 1941 by assisting in the siege of Leningrad etc.

Thousands of scattered rocks litter the landscape. In the distance, leaves of trees are slowly turning yellow. It is the site of a Winter War monument at Suomussalmi, Finland, containing a rock for every soldier who died at the Battle of Suomussalmi: 750 Finnish and an estimated 24,000 Soviet.
[Remarkably bleak: “A Winter War monument at Suomussalmi, Finland, containing a rock for every soldier who died at the Battle of Suomussalmi: 750 Finnish and an estimated 24,000 Soviet” (Wikipedia)]

After the Second World War ended, Finland was not taken over by the Soviet Union. An armistice was signed in 1944. After 1945, Finland remained independent, though in some measure generally subservient to the Soviet Union in foreign affairs etc, a situation now known as “Finlandization” (eg, escapees from Soviet rule were invariably handed back if found before they could get to Sweden or Norway).

I cannot agree with Hitchens that Finland “lost in the end“. Not everything is black and white. Finland retained its way of life and a political sovereignty which was somewhere between independence and autonomy…It also created favourable trading relations with the Soviet Union. Admittedly, it never regained Karelia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland#World_War_II_and_after

I myself once had a girlfriend from Karelia (but from a few miles West of the Soviet border). I used to joke with her that the only reason she was not a Soviet citizen was that the Red Army had been short on fuel! In fact, her father had fought, as an 18 year old, in the Winter War. He had once stumbled on a Red Army soldier, similar age, in the forest, by a stream. They both fled in opposite directions!

The sheer rabbit-compliance of most people in this country is a sign that not only do the people not deserve a vote, but that they actually do not even want one.

Look at what the British people have swallowed in the past 30+ years! Mass immigration and migration-invasion on a scale that would have staggered Enoch Powell! NWO wars against Saddam Hussein, the Taliban etc (the latter thoroughly deserving it, but from the UK point of view, why be there?). War (in effect) against Gaddafi of Libya (why?). Disastrous. The attack by both Labour and Conservative Party governments, since about 2000, on the unemployed, disabled and sick of the UK. The crazy “lockdown”; and now the facemask nonsense.

Yes. I recall going into a pub in the Westminster Bridge Road (London) one afternoon in the 1980s, something I did not do usually, and being surprised to find a woman sitting with friends and with her two small children! That must have been about the time that the laws were relaxed by the Thatcher “open all hours” government.

Many pubs in the UK, even before the Coronavirus panic, were not really pubs. Economics dictated that many had to become quasi-restaurants, and/or “family pubs”. The old type of pub, which was basically for quiet drinking, and without people sitting eating pies, fish and chips, trifle etc, was rare even before 2020. Now? On the endangered list.

The “newspaper columnist” has existed for a long time, certainly since the 1930s, and in most cases is a know-nothing idiot (in more recent years usually, though not always, a woman) who creates hysteria. The sooner the misdescribed “free Press” is closed by lack of money, the better.

It’s only a matter of time…

Zionist arithmetic: take a number, any number (so long as it is six million), then double it. Or triple it. Who’s counting?

Looks as though Belarus is on the cusp of political revolution. The country avoided the wars and poverty (the latter caused by unrestricted finance capitalism) which afflicted Russia, Ukraine and other parts of the Soviet Union after 1989, but at the cost of, in effect, dictatorship. Seems that that is now not a bargain the people think worthwhile, though it is hard to judge from outside.

Belarus has a population of about nine and a half million; how many support the government v. the protest movement is an unknown. In any case (and in any country) what really matters is not the percentage either way, but the proportion willing to struggle or fight for supremacy.

Online presence v. boots on the ground

I have written before about this.

5-10 years ago, before the Jew-Zionists and others (but mainly “them”) gained traction over the Internet, before the really heavy censorship came into effect, it was possible to believe that a new world of freedom of expression had opened up. I was always somewhat sceptical, but saw that people barred from the Zionist-controlled mass media had been able to start their own online organizations, using the large online platforms: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.

Again, these people were generally not on the same ideological page as myself, though there were some points of agreement. Some of them were able not only to put over points of view, but also to make a passably good living doing what they did.

For me, the sticking point was their support for Israel and the Jewish lobby. Paul Joseph Watson, “Prison Planet” Watson on Twitter and YouTube, Katie Hopkins (at the time also a columnist for the Daily Mail), various Americans, some less prominent ones such as “Sargon of Akkad” (Carl Benjamin); and of course there was also “Tommy Robinson” (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon).

For me, all of the above were wastes of space, though “Robinson” did have followers offline as well as online, if one could ignore the fact that most were simpleminded pub drinkers and beer-bottle-throwers.

All of the above were making a living by their activity; Katie Hopkins was also receiving a salary or fees from the Daily Mail. Then the Jews (mainly) prevailed on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook to restrict their posts, eventually having them expelled, though “Prison Planet” still has a Twitter account (with 1.1 million “followers” at that) and one on YouTube (which was briefly suspended). Example (well worth seeing, btw):

I agree with him about the facemask nonsense, by the way. It’s the new WW1 “white feather” hysteria.

The point is that all the above-named “alt-Right” or similar people are hostages to fortune. As the Jews have worked out, take away their online platforms and these people fade away to nothing.

Where now is Katie Hopkins? Not on Twitter. Permanently banned, just as I was in 2018. She is still on YouTube, though:

As I say, I hold no brief for her, or any of what might be called the “alt-Right”. Pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby. Also, with no discernible political programme. Always negative (and sometimes rightly so) but putting forward no real alternative. Not just Katie Hopkins; all of them.

Whether unwittingly or not, all the above wastes of space are basically controlled opposition. Katie Hopkins and “Prison Planet” Watson take every opportunity to laud the Jews and Israel, and while that will not necessarily save them from online oblivion eventually, it may stave off their being “excommunicated” for a while, while they are somewhat useful to the System in drawing the sting of social nationalism.

If the above people lose their “platforms”, there is nothing left for them. I doubt that they could raise a dozen people in the streets even now. Even Tommy Robinson could only manage about 200 to protest against his being tried about a year ago. One dimwit follower of his even wrapped himself in an Israeli flag, in the manner of football supporters (which almost all of Robinson’s followers are).

The only thing that matters now is “boots on the ground”, whether a million, a thousand, a hundred, or even ten. Online influence may be fine, but is a mirage which can disappear overnight.

Britain needs a social-national organization. Maybe not, or not exclusively, a political party as such, but an organization which can be relied on, through thick and thin, come what may.

British people homeless, including young people, ex-servicemen, middle-aged couples fallen on hard times, and others as well, but migrant-invader untermenschen are transported in luxury to take accommodation that could and should be for the exclusive use of British people.

Surely the closest Peter Hitchens has ever come to justifying violent rebellion…

Hitchens is right, and it is precisely the “socialists” on Twitter, the “anti-fascists”, those who have for years been loudly virtue-signalling in favour of “human rights”, “civil liberties” and all the rest of the platitudinous garbage they have spewed out, who now, when it matters, are not only compliant with the slightest “rule” (under dodgy and possibly invalid secondary legislation) or even “advice” given out by Boris-idiot and this government of alien clowns, but who are often to be seen on Twitter etc actually, and literally at times, begging to be put under stricter “lockdown”, under harsher “rules” and “laws” mandating facemasks and muzzles at all times, and so on!

The above virtue-signallers and “useful idiots” are the ones, many of them, who have been most critical of the unpleasant and stupid actions of “Conservative” government for a decade. Now, they roll over for the least-competent Con regime ever, despite all the evidence against “lockdowns”, facemasks etc.

I blogged before, a week or so ago, that my own doctor told me that his practice (12 or so doctors in two locations) had had few (if any?) Coronavirus cases since the panic (my word) began in February or March, and that he had heard of no more than a few cases in the whole area.

I read in the past week, in a local online newspaper, that in my local authority area, a rural/suburban coastal and near-coastal area with a few smallish towns and villages, only 3 people have died of —or at least with— Coronavirus in almost a month! In a quite large and widely-spread area the population of which totals 180,000! Three people! Sad for them and their family and friends, but in effect close to statistical zero.

Anecdotal evidence, as always, is suspect, but then look at the government’s misleading and/or simply untrue statistics!

Well, at last some reality is coming down the tracks…and it could be brutal.

unemployment could peak at 13 per cent in the first quarter of 2021 – which would mean more than four million people on the dole queue.” [Daily Mail] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8525539/Boris-Johnson-admits-jobs-lost-watchdog-warned-4m-unemployed.html

[above: UK GDP, by OBR]

If 4 million unemployed by 2021 is the figure these clowns are suggesting, then 8 million may not be inconceivable. This is or should be the great moment for a social-national breakthrough in 2022 or so. Yet there is no real social national party or movement in the UK.

I leave aside (as blogged about previously) the few clowns and “movements” that do exist at present in the UK.

Rudolf Steiner, I believe it was (it may have been Valentin Tomberg), who talked about the dilemma of people in these times in such terms as “I feel that I cannot do that which I must do…“. That is how I feel. The necessity is there and recognized, but the ways and means of doing what is necessary are not there…

I feel and recognize and know what is required, but have not the means (in terms of the old British song “…we’ve got the ships…we’ve got the men…we’ve got the money too!”).

Perhaps the way will be made clear. At the age of 63, I do not have the luxury of waiting for years for the right moment to arrive. A new movement must come, one credible enough and powerful enough to do what it takes…

Cometh the hour, cometh the man…

Never give money to System “charities” such as this one, “Red Nose Day”, or Save the Children (where the chief people running it get up to £300,000 a year). One was Brendan Cox, the sex pest/rapist whose wife was Jo Cox, assassinated MP. They are, to a large extent, scams. Give money to animal charities such as the Brooke Hospital for Animals, or Cats Protection. Or give directly to needy people and animals via GoFundMe etc.https://uk.gofundme.com/f/life-changing-chronic-pain-surgery or similar.

Yes, we are incompetently ruled by clowns at present. Clowns without genuine legitimacy.

Once again, they say “firms” when they mean “companies”. A country run by incompetents and “informed” by ignorant illiterates.

This comment by a Daily Mail reader is what I too think: “Noddy the clown PM and his psychological disturbed aide have already in seven months bankrupted the country.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/reader-comments/p/comment/link/570272919

Chinese infiltration into UK

China has infiltrated Britain more successfully than it has other European countries, an expert warned last night.

Author Mareike Ohlberg, who has written about the underhand tactics of the country’s Communist Party, said attempts to groom leading figures in business and politics were at an advanced stage in the UK.”

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8528025/Britain-Europes-No-1-target-infiltration-Chinas-Communist-Party-expert-warns.html

So what does Boris-idiot do? Gives 3-4 million Hong Kong Chinese (some of whom may be intelligence agents) the right to live in the UK! Even if many are anti-Peking dissidents, the fact is that (combined with the nearly half million already here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Chinese_immigration_to_the_United_Kingdom) the Chinese population of the UK might well be as many as 5 million by 2040. About 7% of the population. From the point of view of Peking, job done, strategically…

What “they” say

A Government report on extremism during the coronavirus pandemic has highlighted far-right activists’ calls to “infect Jews” as well as five different ways antisemites have blamed Jews for spreading the virus.” [Jewish News]

“...individuals such as David Icke played “a significant role in spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories linked to Covid-19” [Jewish News]

Although Icke was successfully de-platformed from YouTube and Facebook, the scale and reach of his antisemitic conspiracy theories remains extremely concerning,” the report’s authors said.” [Jewish News]

https://jewishnews.timesofisrael.com/extremism-report-highlights-spike-in-far-right-antisemitism-during-pandemic/

Get that. A “government report” (not really) from the so-called “Commission for Countering Extremism” [“CCE”], says outright, in its bias, that David Icke was “successfully deplatformed” from YouTube and Facebook.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_for_Countering_Extremism

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sara_Khan_(activist)

https://www.vogue.co.uk/article/sara-khan-we-will-inspire-muslim-group

This “Commission” is rather uninfluential, and was set up under Theresa May as Prime Minister. She of course was totally under the thumb of the Jewish lobby. Still, it is striking how biased it is, talking about how Icke was “successfully deplatformed” etc. No pretence of objectivity. In fact, its existence is merely one example of how governments waste money. I expect that the present government would like to bin this fake “Commission” and its useless “Lead Commissioner” (one Sara Khan), but cannot think of a plausible way to bin it and her.

Well, lookee here…

Not only have all (I think) the pop-up “Nightingale Hospitals” closed, mostly without ever having been used, but even the Coronavirus/Covid-19 testing centres are now closing for lack of use; yet this Government of idiots ploughs on with its fear propaganda, and enforcement of muzzles for people (facemasks) etc. Result? Destruction of what is left of the economy, particularly the retail sector.

One of the reasons why charities are such a “rotten borough” in the UK is because their funding (in some cases) comes only partly from members of the public, but also comes from government funds, or from the National Lottery (the “Good Causes Fund”).

In other words, the charity sector is pervaded by the sort of Common Purpose drones you see on Twitter. This is why you get quite mediocre people (eg at Save the Children) heading charities and being paid £300,000 a year. This is also why you get the sex scandals, as with sex pest/rapist Brendan Cox etc. Because the charities have guaranteed income provided via people embedded in government, quangos etc, which people belong to the same cabals.

Strange. I must have missed that time when Piers Morgan spoke up for me, when I was disbarred at the instigation of a pack of Jews: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/, or the time when effectively the same pack of Jews made a malicious complaint against me to Essex Police: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/

Oh…in fact there never was such a time when Piers Morgan defended my freedom to express myself on political, social, religious, historical and cultural matters. Piers Morgan never did defend my rights.

I also never saw Morgan defend the rights of others known to me, people such as Alison Chabloz, prosecuted for posting online some of her satirical songs, such as (((Survivors))): https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2020/07/07/free-speech-alison-chabloz-wins-a-victory-but-still-faces-attack/

[above: Alison Chabloz]

Still, I suppose that half a pint is better than no pint…

[above: the British bulldog, muzzled (they emasculated him first…)]

The muzzling of the population is, of course, made for the Twitterati, most of them. All the “antifascists”, “socialists” (pseudo-socialists), all the “anti-racists” and communitarians and “slacktivists”. They love the fact that they can mask-up and virtue-signal all the way to the office (that most are not attending).

Good grief…Pity, one or two rounds would have done it.

The usual Twitter “antifascist”/multikulti mob are getting it wrong, yet again. They say that the Begum creature is “British”. Technically perhaps, in terms of birthplace, passport etc, but racially and culturally she is not in any real sense “British”; neither are many millions of others.

The solution to “Islamist” terror is not to have incubating populations here in the UK. See https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2020/02/12/terrorism-and-reason/

Look (below) at this idiot!”If you were born in China, you would be Chinese” says the idiot…One James Shaw, aka “Planet Zombie”. All too typical, at least on Twitter.

Might be interesting.

Daily Telegraph police state propaganda

Good to see people fighting back. We need a mass “no facemask day” protest. I’m in…

I agree with this one too! (@plutoslovechild, below)

Below, a shop standing up against facemask tyranny:

The “Covid-19″/Coronavirus scare: much of this is actually a ZOG/NWO scam. Not all. Much.

It does highlight the poverty of thought in and around government that the idiots actually seem to believe that forcing everyone to be muzzled or masked will increase footfall in shops! The reasoning seems to be that shoppers will feel more confident and safe. No. It’s like when you are at, say, Heathrow, and smug, stupid-looking police are stalking around with their Heckler & Koch MP5 and other weapons. Does that make you feel “safer”? No. It makes you think “what might happen in the event of a terrorist incident?

In other words, the armed police at airports, in reality, do the opposite of reassuring most members of the public. Is that ignorance on the part of the public? Maybe not; I mean, if terrorists suddenly launched an attack, what would the heavily-armed police do? Open fire in some place as crowded as were (before “the virus” almost wiped out civil aviation) the Heathrow or Gatwick passenger terminals? I sincerely hope not!

Reverting to the facemask curse, my guess is that most people will be shopping online for things. The shops and department stores are going to be empty or almost empty because of the facemask nonsense, because of the residual thought that they just might pick up “the virus” (unlikely though that is) and finally because, soon at least, most people are going to have a great deal less money to spend in shops.

Queen of the Desert

Saw a film on TV starring Nicole Kidman, Queen of the Desert [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_of_the_Desert_(film) ], about the English explorer and pioneering traveller, Gertrude Bell [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gertrude_Bell]. She helped to draw, with others whom she got to know, such as Lawrence of Arabia (T.E. Lawrence), the map of the Middle East as it was from the 1920s through to the present day, or at least until very recently.

The film was a quality production, but slow. It is more like, in the American phrase, an “art-house movie”, than anything likely to achieve box-office popularity. It was a major financial flop in 2015, I have now read.

I found the film quite compelling though, if you stick with it. At the end, rather moving.

Huw Merriman MP

In one of the ad breaks of the above-named film, I saw a few minutes of Sky News. A scruffy-looking MP hitherto unknown to me, Huw Merriman [Con, Bexhill and Battle], was speaking. I did not hear the whole of his interview, but what I did hear sounded rather dull. I looked him up on Wikipedia etc out of mere curiosity:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huw_Merriman

I see that he attended a Secondary Modern school (I did not know that some were still operating under that title as late as the 1980s), and then Durham University. Called to the Bar sometime around 1995, he seems to have practised briefly in criminal law before leaving the practising Bar to become an employed lawyer somewhere. He worked as a salaried in-house lawyer for 17 years until elected to the very safe seat of Bexhill and Battle in 2015.

Here is what he says about himself:

https://www.huwmerriman.org.uk/about-huw-merriman

He appears, unsurprisingly, to have left out some far less creditable information about himself:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5885029/Married-Tory-MP-married-three-children-love-child-aide.html

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/lawyer-sues-married-tory-who-bullied-her-over-affair-s3vghrqdfrb

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/12148274/Lawyer-accused-of-looking-for-cash-following-one-night-stand-with-Tory-MP.html

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/patronia-campbell-lawyer-who-claims-her-tory-mp-boss-husband-victimised-her-forced-to-deny-she-was-a6863491.html

https://www.eastbourneherald.co.uk/news/lawyer-drops-her-employment-tribunal-case-against-pevensey-and-herstmonceux-mp-1269343

He also seems to have been “economical with the truth” about his in-house lawyer role. He gives the impression that he was somehow appointed to “sort out” the mess at Lehman Brothers, after its collapse. Elsewhere though, I have read that he was working for Lehman Brothers itself, in earlier years. Maybe he was appointed to the latter role because of the former one. At any rate, and whatever the facts about that, his latter-day “consultancy” with the liquidators apparently pulled in (does it still?) £160,000 a year, according to the BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-32891604

(also, disappointing that the BBC website thinks that “led” —past tense— is spelled “lead”. Still, that is where we are in these times of collapsing standards across the board).

On the face of it, Merriman does not seem to be a particularly nice person, and I see that his Parliamentary career has stalled. He started to climb the Government ladder in the 2010-2015 Parliament by being appointed PPS, latterly to the then Chancellor, Philip Hammond. However, he now holds no Government appointment:

He supported the UK remaining within the European Union (EU) in the 2016 UK EU membership referendum. Merriman voted for then Prime Minister Theresa May‘s Brexit withdrawal agreement in early 2019. In the indicative votes held on 27 March, he voted for a referendum on the Brexit withdrawal agreement.[13][14]

On 12th April 2019, he voted for a People’s Vote, and also for a no deal Brexit.[15] He was the only MP to have voted for both options.” [Wikipedia]

Well, time to leave Merriman MP and return to more important matters.

Coronavirus

It is clear that the former epidemic/pandemic has tailed off now in the UK. We shall never know for sure, but it seems most likely that Coronavirus swept through unnoticed in the first month or two of 2020 (possibly even December 2019), but that most people had no symptoms, or mild symptoms. Others were probably misdiagnosed (“all clap now…”) before the new virus was publicized. The “lockdown” was unnecessary, apart from nasty “clubs”, pubs, mass entertainment and sporting events, and the Underground and buses (which never were stopped, though dim Sadiq Khan reduced the number of trains, and coaches on trains, so making infection far more likely!).

Now, the government of fools is busy slamming shut stable doors after the horses have bolted.

Prince Charles

The Prince of Wales always seems to go out of his way to make a fool of himself. I do not totally blame him. He thinks that he is somehow helping. He is not. Most people will just laugh (despite the seriousness of both the message and the situation behind it).

Naturally, the public see someone who is hugely privileged, vastly wealthy, and whose milieu is one of similarly-privileged parasites, to use a harsh word, and see no reason why they should pick for free, or for minimum wage, fruit and veg for farmers, many of whom are fairly affluent if not rather rich, and who receive large UK and EU subsidy payments as well.

Many may hurl insults such as “send Harry!” or even “get the Royal Mulatta to pick that cotton!”…or indeed might suggest that schools such as Eton College organize “Patriotic Picking” sessions…

This harvest crisis is typical of what happens when you have a government of fools incapable of organizing anything, and headed by a part-Jew public entertainer who is plainly out of his depth.

There is no evidence of a risk of societal breakdown, even if one takes Professor Ferguson’s disease modelling at face value. Spanish flu is estimated to have had an infection mortality rate two to three times higher than Covid-19 and to have killed around 200,000 people between 1918 and 1921, in a UK population two thirds its current size. Although it mainly attacked fit, economically active young people in their twenties and thirties, it came nowhere near to imperilling supply chains or provoking societal breakdown. Covid-19 attacks people with severe pre-existing vulnerabilities. Nearly nine tenths of the dead were aged 65 or over and likely to have been retired. The number of work days lost through non-mortal illness are fewer by far than days lost through the lockdown. At present, the real risk of societal breakdown comes from the lockdown, not the virus.” [Lord Sumption in The Spectator]

But will the hysterics and aggressives of the msm, and the Twitter mob, listen to sense? I doubt it. They never have…

5G and Coronavirus

I have no fixed view, and on the face of it there seems little to link a Chinese virus with Chinese mobile telephone technology, but look at this:

http://www.michaelwarden.net/It-Merits-a-closer-look.pdf?mc_cid=dc15af18fa&mc_eid=defb9b2c71

and this:

Rishi Sunak

Ah. So now that “financial genius” Rishi Sunak says that things are about to get very tough indeed:

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/may/19/chancellor-plays-down-hopes-of-quick-economic-recovery

What he fails to add is that most of the pain will have been because he, Boris-idiot and the rest of the crew shut down the UK economy unnecessarily, and have decided to continue much of that shutdown into the Autumn despite the fact that the Coronavirus has basically swept through and gone now.

The chancellor, Rishi Sunak, has warned that Britain is facing a “severe recession, the likes of which we haven’t seen” and lasting economic damage from the coronavirus pandemic.” [The Guardian, which apparently now employs people unaware that “Chancellor” is right, “chancellor” is not].

Sunak had suggested as recently as last month that Britain could “bounce back” quickly thanks to the government’s support measures and the nation’s “fundamentally sound” economy prior to the crisis.” [The Guardian]

Can these people not see that companies, often long-established, are now falling dead to the ground all over the place. Today alone, I saw that Antler, the luggage company, founded in 1914, is gone, its remaining 200 workers (who were on furlough) being made redundant.

The very same day, a large energy company made 2,500 workers redundant.

These companies may have been struggling before, but have now been killed off, or in some cases mortally wounded, though they may survive until the “furlough” payments end. What is killing these companies, incidentally, is not “Coronavirus”, nor the “Covid-19 situation”, but the actions of this government in shutting down the economy and society for months, completely unnecessarily.

Evening forays

Well, I went out two evenings running, early evening. Only to Waitrose, though. On the main road (a rural or semi-rural A-road), some traffic, more than before (again). It is clear that the “lockdown”, put in place by a frightened and indeed panicked government of fools, is fraying at the edges.

Waitrose was slightly busier than yesterday, but on both days no queue to get in, and I have noticed that the black-clad Handmaid’s Tale militia (Waitrose marshals) have slackened off over the weeks. Still there, still going through the motions, but not as officiously as (one or two were) a few weeks ago.

Actually, I do not think that many people have died of Coronavirus in this part of southern England. I have seen two cases reported in the local Press since the scare began. That is in a population of 15,000 locally and, in a town about 12 miles away, another 20,000. Other small population centres as well. I have not been told personally about anyone at all who has even (knowingly) had “the virus”, let alone been hospitalized with it or died from it.

I saw a few idiots wearing what looked like home-made face-masks. Three, in fact. One ancient woman shopping with her husband (sans mask), one thin, brittle and unpleasant-looking woman aged around 60 (that’s youthful around here), and one typical male Guardian-reader, about 40 at a guess, complete with tote-bag. Yes, I am assuming wildly; I blame the “lockdown”…

As for panic buying, that seems to be yesterday’s news. Some types of pasta not available, and the flour shelf looked depleted, but the other most-scooped-up items, such as bleach, loo paper, kitchen roll etc were all in good supply. As for bread, over-supply, with many loaves on sale reduced to as little as 10p. What a difference a month makes.

As a matter of fact, I wonder how many (older) people remember the absurd sugar panic of (?) sometime in the late 1970s. It only lasted a week, had (as far as I can recall) no obvious cause, but had shoppers lining up to buy a dozen bags of sugar at a time. There were even a few scuffles or arguments in the aisles, I think. The “madness of crowds”.

Ah, maybe this [below] was what I had in mind:

https://www.theguardian.com/theguardian/2010/jul/09/archive-rationing-sugar-shortage-looms

1974. Earlier than I thought. Memory, even mine, is fallible. At least I did not “remember” having been gassed (6 times, in one case!), like some “holocaust” fakes!

Speaking of the 1940s, I was reading this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Sargant

“Selected patients for experimental operations with a high risk of death…”? Most of the criticisms of medicine and psychiatry in the Reich (sometimes justified criticisms) could be applied with as much or greater justice to the UK or USA. Fact. But Germany lost the War. Das ist’s…

I was just reading this:

https://www.loknstore.co.uk/articles/do-we-need-to-stockpile-essentials-for-a-hard-brexit/

Not sure that I believe the anecdotes in the first paragraph, but I suppose that I could be wrong.

On the way back to Schloss Millard, called in for a small amount of fuel at the (only) filling station. I saw an unmarked police car, a white Jeep-like vehicle with dark windows, akin to a Hummer (I never would have taken that to be a police vehicle) suddenly roar along the by-then empty main road, blue lights flashing (including a Kojak-style magnetic one on the roof).

What was that all about? A big undercover police operation in the area? A pensioner seen sitting on a clifftop bench, or walking along the pebbly shore, in defiance of “lockdown” “advice”? Maybe a dangerous “neo-Nazi” had been seen in the neighbourhood…In fact, Kojak‘s car light was red, but you get my meaning

After my shopping expedition, I sat down to watch the excellent Reilly, Ace of Spies on the nostalgia channel. I used to have it on DVD and, before that, on video. On this occasion, I was 15 minutes too early, so watched the ending of a marginally amusing “reality” show called Celebrity Dinner Date. What can I say? The “celebrity” (of whom I had never heard and whose name I have already forgotten) turned out to be a simian person of mixed race. He is apparently featured on the “Year of the Sex Olympics” show called Love Island, which I have never seen but understand to be a competition in which various instant “celebrities” have it off with each other somewhere in the tropics or subtropics.

The three girls who entertained the “celebrity” in turn were all English. The Germans have a word for it (as usual): Rassenschande.

The tweeter, above, has some sense, unlike the woman below:

https://twitter.com/Bidisha_online/status/1257834748107423745?s=20

She wants “full, policed lockdown, with clear orders…” I wonder whether she might be more at home somewhere like China, or North Korea? She has obviously no respect for what we English people used to call “civil rights”…

I was so struck by that tweet (though there are now many like it) and by the apparent fact that this Indian woman is (she claims— I had never heard of her) a regular face or voice on Sky and BBC, that I looked up her Wikipedia entry:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bidisha

Writer and talking head. Here, below, she claims to have been out of her house only three times in nearly two months! No wonder she tweets rubbish.

https://twitter.com/Bidisha_online/status/1257834002758750209?s=20

Looks like “Bidisha” peaked over a decade ago in career terms but is still making a good living (?) in the msm/literary milieu, while arguing for even more immigration into the UK…

As a matter of fact, “journalists” and other scribblers not only often fail to report the truth, or report untruth, but do not seem even to know it when it should be within the ambit of their own lived experience! Look at the blog post, below, by Anna Blundy, who was, at the end of the 1990s, the Bureau Chief in Moscow for the London Times.

https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/431674.Anna_Blundy

Ms. Blundy, who was (she says) part-basis for the fictional character Bridget Jones, writes this:

I was born in 1970 and grew up on my own with my mum while dad flew around the world to wars and summits. It was odd in those days, when most people didn’t go abroad, to be watching the news (in black and white) and taking it personally.”

When most people didn’t go abroad“? In (what must have been, at earliest) the late 1970s?! I can assure her that many many people, maybe even most people, in the UK did “go abroad” in the late 1970s! Maybe not to El Salvador, true…Do many go there even now? And she watched the TV news in black and white? In 1975 or 1980? Come on…

The lady now writes fiction, it seems. Good call.

Odd story

https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-person-dressed-as-scary-17th-century-plague-doctor-sought-by-police-11980536

What a country we live in. People can dress up in all sorts of appalling ways so long as they are on an “LGBT” march or the Notting Hill Carnival, and anyone objecting can FO, but one man or woman dressing like a 17thC “plague doctor” (presumably to satirize the present “lockdown” nonsense and/or Coronavirus scare) and the police are out seeking to find him to lecture him, in case he “scares” anyone. After the population has been scared out of its skin by its own government! You couldn’t make it up!

Happened to see this

All I can say is that when I was first appearing, as a “second six pupil” (green, newly-qualified, barrister), in the County Courts and magistrates’ courts in London in 1993, the lower criminal and family courts especially were awash with black barristers. I did some criminal work, but not family. If I am honest, in the next few years I saw not one black (or brown) barrister who was anything other than incompetent. Maybe I was unlucky…I even saw an appalling creature (with teeth sawn to points, like a cannibal) at the High Court in 1994, where he was (thanks to his friends on scandal-hit Lambeth Council) defending a judicial review application. I could say more, but what’s the point?

Ghastly…

A reader of my blog sent this: https://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2020/05/05/review-from-kosher-to-halal/

Home baking

Only for one brief period in my life did I any baking of bread; in the early 1980s. It lasted a few weeks. I got some excellent recipes from a book by the now-forgotten Robert Carrier (famous in the 1960s): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Carrier_(chef)

My first attempt and several others were all successful. It was only then that I went a bridge too far, making from Carrier’s book something called (if memory serves) Old English Spice Bread, which ended up the size, consistency and —almost— weight of a cannonball. It was not that I could not eat it, but that I could not even cut it! I tried to break it open by casting it down, with force, on a pavement. Result? a clunk, as if a piece of concrete had been dropped.

The cost was tremendous. A large amount of double cream, and various other ingredients. All for something half the size of a football and weighing a ton.

Ah…the wonder of the Internet… https://www.eatyourbooks.com/library/recipes/1852274/old-english-spice-bread

I might try ordinary brown bread again, if Waitrose ever has any flour or yeast or bicarb for sale again.

Turns out that Professor Ferguson broke his own lockdown in order to meet with his girlfriend (whose husband must be un mari complaisant). Ferguson has now resigned because of that trivia, not because his flawed advice (that there could be 250,000 deaths from Coronavirus in the UK) has led to the shutdown of most of the economy, to the imposition of a “police state-lite”, and maybe to the end of the UK as we have known it.

I knew as soon as I saw that bastard Ferguson that there was something wrong about him. I thought maybe drugs, but it seems that his craving lies elsewhere. It has to be admitted, though, that his girlfriend is not unattractive, on the face of it…

Meanwhile, Peter Hitchens has finally fallen out with Jewish Zionist Melanie “Mad Mel” Phillips:

Melanie Phillips is desperately trying to boost Boris-idiot by applauding his crazed “lockdown” nonsense. That has put Hitchens off her. I have to say, though, that his perspicacity fails him at times, as here below:

Was it really so surprising that a Jewess who is fanatically pro-Israel supported the war by which the major Western powers defeated one of the two or three greatest threats to Israel, i.e. Iraq under Saddam Hussein? Thus doing Israel’s dirty work. For which Israel paid not a shekel.

Anyway, back to the virus scare and the “lockdown” nonsense:

Hitchens has a long series of altercations with some Jew called Margulies, a lecturer in politics at the University of Essex, no less. The tweet below, is at or near the end of the exchange, as Margulies is put back in his box…

Good to see that the reputation of the University of Essex is being, er, maintained!

Soros and the Great Replacement of populations in Europe

The New World Order [NWO], imposed through Zionist Occupation Governments [ZOG] does not need real Europeans. It is replacing us with lesser types. One has to ask the question, is Coronavirus connected with all this manipulation?

Millie

The Jamaican singer, Millie (Millie Small) has died. 73 years old. So I must have been only 7 when her one UK hit came out and was frequently on the radio and TV. I remember it well, maybe partly because “Millie/Millard”— similarity of names.

West Indians were then (1964) few in the UK, incredibly (despite what the msm propaganda would have people believe now). In the early to mid 1960s, I cannot remember ever seeing one —one!—, even in the poorer parts of Reading, let alone where my family lived, on the border of South Oxfordshire), until my family returned to the UK in late 1969, after nearly three years in Australia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millie_Small

1964. A different world.

Rory Stewart

Rory Stewart has pulled out of the contest for Mayor of London. I have added another update to my blog post of a year ago about him:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/05/03/will-rory-stewart-mp-be-prime-minister/

My first thoughts about Stewart (at the time, as potential Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister) underwent change as I discovered more about him. Now, my judgment is far less favourable than it was a year ago.

Derbyshire news

Derbyshire’s chief “woodentop” is to “retire”:

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/police-chief-whose-officers-filmed-21984105

Responsible not only for instituting a poundland KGB attitude to the public under the “lockdown” nonsense, but also in respect of the Alison Chabloz case. His “officers” (toytown police woodentops) behaved disgracefully on several occasions.

Now let’s hope that the Derbyshire voters also get rid of the “Police and Crime Commissioner” for that force, a dim Sikh who is in the pocket of the Jewish lobby.

“Lockdown” nonsense may start to be removed next week

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8292573/Boris-Johnson-admits-UKs-coronavirus-death-toll-appalling.html

About time. If I see much more of the (endlessly-repeated on radio and TV) braindead slogan “Stay at home; Protect the NHS; Save lives“, I myself may require immediate help as my blood-pressure goes into orbit.

Stray thoughts

Image

Was he wrong? I would have agreed with his sentiment even a year ago. Now? [sighs]…millions of rabbits under house arrest, scared of their own shadows, lining up six feet apart; then there are the bookburners who think that books written by those they and their sort call “Nazi” should be burned, destroyed etc….and the bookburners include crazed women in academia, “professors” of third-rate universities, writers, journalists…the very people who, even 30 years ago would mostly have supported at least basic intellectual freedom. And so on.

Tomorrow the rabbits and their police zookeepers will all be clapping on command (according to the msm lie machines, anyway…in fact, I suspect that relatively few are boring the pants off the rest of us…not much clapping  is happening where I live).

The general level of quality is shockingly low now in the UK, from government and Parliament to the Press and TV “journalists”, to teachers and exams, to the “learned professions” (certainly the Bar and the solicitors’ profession), to the degraded “universities” and their fake “professors”, to the police (now on the lowest level imaginable).

So, while I feel that “never say never”, on this occasion Enoch Powell may not be right…not in the exact terms, anyway.

Coronavirus

BBC Radio 4 Today Programme drone pushing the “lockdown saves lives” rubbish, when in fact, taken overall, far more will die because of “lockdown”. They will die of everything except Coronavirus.

Looks as if the UK government (ZOG regime) is intent on keeping the “Coronavirus crisis” going as long as possible. In fact, the regime may well be quite content that, in care homes and private homes, the very elderly and unwell are dying “quietly”, out of the public eye. It solves for the regime the care crisis that it itself has created via spending cuts since 2010.

Conspiracy theory? I think not (ask Dominic Cummings and his “weirdos and misfits”).

Time for a European alliance of ethnostates

Down with globalism!

“The world is not without kind people” (Russian proverb)

Therese Coffey

Deadhead DWP Secretary, Therese Coffey, is trending on Twitter:

This government of fools (illegitimate ZOG regime) is lost without its part-Jew public entertainer, Boris-idiot (who apparently has now been tested for Coronavirus and shows no sign of it, oddly, despite his supposedly having been almost dying from it for two weeks; surely he would show “antibodies”? Perhaps either I, or the commentator, more likely, need to understand better the situation, the virus, the testing procedure or the language used.

Looks like I was right to blog about Therese Coffey as a “deadhead MP”!

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/09/16/deadhead-mps-an-occasional-series-the-therese-coffey-story/

There is light at the end of the tunnel! Oh, no…it’s an approaching train!

Either Sky News or the useless “Office of Budget Responsibility” is looking for pie in the sky (Sky?). The near-collapse of the UK economy is already happening in reality, and the Government is now unlikely to finish this nonsense of “lockdown” any time soon, mainly because the Cabinet is now, in the absence of the part-Jew public entertainer Boris-idiot, posing as Prime Minister, akin to a headless chicken.

As for a swift “bouncing back”, where does that idea originate? In the Conservative Party propaganda department? Half of the world is still not functioning economically. By Autumn, the Coronavirus crisis/scare/whatever will be over, presumably, but in Europe (still our main trading area, despite Brexit) demand will be at rock-bottom. The same will be true of the USA/North America, our second most important area.

Domestic demand will be very weak too, in a situation where millions will be unemployed and where the “self-employed” (5 million people) will often be making little money. Pay generally is likely to be low. So from where does the “bounce-back” come?

Perhaps what is meant is that there will be a huge fall in activity, but then followed by an increase on that low figure.

Some tweets seen about “the situation”

A kind word about me on Twitter. Rare, now that Twitter has been ethnically and politically “cleansed” by the Jew-Zionist element and its malicious and concerted campaign of “complaints” and “reports”…

(the tweeters below are discussing the self-publicizing solicitor, now an Israeli citizen, and who calls himself “Mark Lewis Lawyer”)

Incidentally, I still see people tweeting the 2016 report about me in the Independent. The report was one-sided but at least partly-accurate. I disliked as much, or more, the accompanying headless photograph, presented as if me, but which was of some other barrister.

I do not smoke, have never been a cigarette smoker, and had far better shoes than the barrister in that Independent photo! The Independent also seemed ignorant of the fact that “to practise law” is written thus, and not “to practice law”, which is only the correct usage in the USA. A small but telling point, symptomatic of the crashing standards in the terminally-sick UK Press (Lugenpresse; Judenpresse…).

Life on the breadline

I do not blame “Bootstrap Cook”, aka Jack Monroe, for using the unpleasant “Mark Lewis Lawyer” in her libel case against the commentator, Katie Hopkins, and it worked out for the Bootstrap Cook, though as a one-time practising barrister I can say with absolute certainty that a precocious child could have won that case against Katie Hopkins, who was evidently either badly-advised or not advised (I do not know whether she was “her own lawyer”, which is usually a mistake).

Anyway, I saw this Washington Post profile:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/food/tin-can-cook-jack-monroe-is-determined-to-show-people-how-to-eat-well–no-matter-their-budget/2018/12/07/f8ae7654-f422-11e8-bc79-68604ed88993_story.html

I have to say that, of the few of her recipes seen by me via her Twitter profile, I have not been enthusiastic about many, but I admit that I have never actually made (or tasted) any of them (they may well be pleasant in actuality). However, I think that this person is performing a public service.

We see in Britain how many people are living on peanuts (sometimes literally), the result of Britain’s economic and social decline combined with —mostly— Conservative Party government policies which have made tough times worse for so many, while the wealthy and very wealthy have thrived in the past 10-20 years especially. Anything that helps people both to survive, and survive without unnecessary pain, must be good.

Many people in the UK cook little, and eat far too many takeways etc, which may be not only unhealthy if taken in excess, but relatively expensive if indulged in frequently. That becomes even more true for those on very low incomes. Often one sees TV reports about people living on pennies getting Chinese takeaways, Indian curry, or fish and chips, and spending their little money on that. Fish and chips ?£5-£10 per head, an Indian or Chinese even more; the Indian place, in a nearby town, and that I use occasionally for takeaway (it’s also a restaurant), is very good but works out at about £15 a head.

I do not forget that sometimes people living in a poor way need something that just briefly seems to make life worth living, even if it is not the most healthy option. George Orwell wrote about that in one of his essays.

I am not merely opining de haut en bas here. I have been down there a few times… especially in — and for several months— 1998, when I had to learn to live in London on plain rice, one piece of fruit per day, bits and pieces (I even ate fruit abandoned by traders at street markets and left in empty boxes by the stalls!).

I had to be “creative” with the Underground (I expect that their technology would defeat me these days) and otherwise had to walk everywhere, trudging morosely past places formerly frequented as a customer, such as Julie’s restaurant in Holland Park, Raoul’s cafe in Little Venice (where I had formerly breakfasted daily in the early/mid 1990s) and other places barred to me by lack of cash such as the once-lovely River Room at the Savoy Hotel (I believe much changed since those days), where I always ate and drank the same thing: “Atlantic Platter” of fish and shellfish, washed down by pretty much the best Chablis I ever had.

[above: The River Room at the Savoy. Actually not looking completely different to how it was c.1994, if memory serves, but the tables are ugly square things now; they used to have beautiful big round tables, even for two people; also, there is a less opulent look somehow, the tables now without full heavy white tablecloths]

Silver lining: I lost rather a lot of weight on my enforced diet with enforced exercise; in fact everyone told me how well I was looking!

“Bootstrap Cook’s” stuff is worth a look, anyway: https://twitter.com/BootstrapCook

More “Coronavirus” lunacy

Shocking footage shows a man brandishing a stick after being confronted by a furious local after he ignored the coronavirus lockdown to go camping in Wales. The video was posted on social media after the camper was confronted by a group of locals who asked him to leave the site at Llyn Cowlyd near Trefriw on Saturday.”

The daughter of the 60-year-old in the footage told  North Wales Live : “My dad was with the owner of the land and all they did was ask them to leave and said that the police were on their way.

Then the man threatened to hit my dad in the head with the stick. She added: “When the police arrived, the campers said they were from Hull. The officers were mortified.

“”They were fined and they traced the number plate to make sure they returned home.”

Her dad added: “It was unbelievable that they travelled all the way from Hull to the top of a mountain to camp when the whole country is on lockdown and the government clearly has instructed everyone to stay home unless necessary.” [Daily Mirror]

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/man-camping-wales-190-miles-21857381

Well, for me the lunacy is on the part of those locals. What possible harm in terms of spreading the virus can two people do, camping on a remote mountain? It seems that they left a mess. Well, fine them for that.

It just shows how quickly the masses have internalized the “we are slaves of the State and will do what the government says (even if very silly)” propaganda, given strength by the virus-“fear” aspect…Actually, what is borderline frightening is how easily supposedly rational individuals (as a mass) can be manipulated and controlled.

As for the locals, the story put me in mind, perhaps unfairly, of this:

The shutdown of the economy

Was just looking at the latest companies to actually go into administration. They are unlikely ever to return to active trading. Oasis, Warehouse and Debenhams. About 25,000 employees, currently on furlough, have nowhere to go when the stupid “lockdown” finishes. Their furlough money ends in June.

China

My feelings about China are torn: I hate the way the Chinese as a group abuse the natural world and especially the animals. In some ways they are very backward as a people. Also, the sheer numbers are an existential danger not only to Europe but to the whole planet. On the other hand, who could fail to be impressed by a display such as this?

Coronavirus

Re. our medical and scientific progress, look at this news item from 1918, prior to the arrival in New York of the worldwide “Spanish Flu”, which eventually killed millions.

“Soap and water” (and “fresh air”). Progress? What progress?

China

Conspiracy theories aside, we should not let China off the hook as far as this ghastly virus event and siruation is concerned. For years, decades, China has been destroying the wildlife of the planet, and brutally mistreating animals in China itself. The Coronavirus “COVID-19” is said to have started in a “seafood market” in Wuhan where not only were live animals (including dogs and cats) on sale, but where some were whipped or otherwise deliberately subjected to painful treatment before being killed. Some were (and in other parts of China are) being boiled alive.

https://twitter.com/satanglyy/status/1249239585927782400?s=20

China may be impressive in some ways, both in terms of its history and its technological and allied activity today, but in other ways it is very very backward. The Coronavirus situation is the fault of China. Now it appears that the Chinese official response in Wuhan may have saved the Chinese from suffering more, but misled the West as to the peril faced by reason of the virus.

In both world wars, there were consequences, rightly or wrongly, for the losing side. Reparations were demanded. Are there to be no consequences for a China which has plunged the rest of the world into turmoil?

Present situation

Image

The above graph shows deaths, not all confirmed cases, but is interesting in that the surveys done in previous years re. personal hygiene in various countries showed that the least hygienic countries of Europe in terms of handwashing etc were…wait for it…Italy, then Spain, then France and Netherlands…

Washing hands frequently with soap and water really is by far the best way to protect yourself from Coronavirus, in fact almost the only way, followed by avoidance of places where crowds of people are hot, excited and active.

Light relief

Watched an episode of the property show Place in the Sun, filmed several years ago in and around Lucca, in Tuscany. What made me shake head is that there were the potential buyers, a couple from Rotherham (South Yorkshire), eager to buy a holiday home and perhaps a place to which (in about 10-20 years) they might retire, but they had obviously not really thought through the matter..

The potential buyers had visited Lucca a number of times, but there was no indication that they spoke Italian, beyond the usual cafe phrases. It is one thing to visit a country, quite another to live there and perhaps be fully domiciled there. A visit to the USA will probably be pleasant and untaxing; living there is something else entirely, despite the (supposedly) common language. The same is true of many parts of the world.

Alok Sharma

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alok_Sharma

Alok Sharma, Business Secretary, is the latest unfortunate member of the Cabinet to be put into the stocks to have rotten fruit and vegetables thrown at him. Twitter and even the msm have not been kind to him.

An Indian, born in Agra (where the Taj Mahal is situated), Sharma was educated partly at the same school as me: https://www.rbcs.org.uk/; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reading_Blue_Coat_School, but about a decade after I was there (there were no Indians there when I was a pupil, though I was slightly acquainted with two half-Indian brothers who attended and who in fact lived not very far from me).

Looks as if Sharma, like other Cabinet ministers in this joke of a government, is basically nbg (no bloody good)…

The natives are getting restless

It can be seen that, after three weeks of the mishandled “lockdown”, and despite general compliance, people are getting pretty fed up with it. They are being kept in line mainly by the constant propaganda, much of it untrue, or only partly true:

  • “anyone can get it” (true, but most people either do not get it, or are completely asymptomatic, and so unaware that they have been infected);
  • also, only a tiny handful under 20 or even 40 are both getting it and require medical attention for it;
  • only those over 60 are likely to require medical attention (there are, of course, always exceptions to every general rule);
  • only those over 70 who get it are likely to require hospitalization;
  • most people who are aware that they have the Coronavirus are mildly affected, mildly in that they require no medical attention and just a couple of weeks of rest (though of course it is unpleasant for them all the same);
  • the relative few (perhaps 1 person in every few hundred of the population) who do require medical attention in hospital are usually in and out of hospital in about 2 weeks;
  • so far, about 1 person out of every 8,000 of the general population has died with (though not necessarily of) Coronavirus.

The risible police activity around the “lockdown” has only slightly reinforced the main propaganda message, the puerile “Save lives/Save the NHS” stuff. In countries with still-properly-functioning public health systems (Germany, France etc) they do not use such kneejerk propaganda campaigns, but just do (and have the means to do) the job.

Luckily for the government, most of the population prefer not to think for themselves. If they did, they would realize that most people, and certainly those under 30, are at little risk of anything serious anyway. The “lockdown” would then not so much lock down as break down.

British housing conditions

Fears are growing that coronavirus could be ripping through some of the poorest and most overcrowded parts of Britain’s cities as new research suggests cramped living conditions might be accelerating the spread of the virus” [The Guardian]

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/apr/12/virus-hitting-hardest-modern-equivalent-victorian-slums

Mass immigration is a big factor, and is often rejoiced in by “refugees welcome” idiots…

Here’s one of the most egregious of such idiots on Twitter:

Britain had about 50 or 55 million people living in it when I was born (1956). Now it is about 70 million. Far too many even in strict numerical terms, and an increasing proportion of the population is black, brown, other non-European, or of mixed race. What future does that give the white people of the UK (or the non-whites, in fact)?

Walid Alhusien with his wife and five children

[above: a non-European family living in one room in London. No good for them, no good for Britain’s future. The man delivers pizzas. Britain must move to a high-education, high-skillset national model. What use is it having a man delivering pizzas, his non-working wife looking after three —so far— children, the family dependent largely on State benefits?]

Economics

It had to happen: the time has come when I can agree on something with Matthew Parris:

So far, only a few msm creatures and talking heads have turned their minds and pens to what happens after Coronavirus. I have, though:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2020/03/29/when-coronavirus-is-over/

Peter Hitchens has been one of the few to think, so far:

Unfortunately, much of the public is basically unthinking. They are so brainwashed that they imagine that the “lockdown” is “saving lives, protecting the NHS” etc (which if true, is only marginally so), and that “everyone” must “Clap for the NHS”, North Korea-style. Actually, where I live, no-one seems to be clapping on command, though a couple of weeks ago, i.e. the first time the clapping was “ordered”, I did see one firework (a large rocket).

When one examines the economic damage done by “lockdown”, one is in the world of conjecture. However, only a few oddities have dared assert that “lockdown” (even so far) has not had a negative economic effect (if it did not have such an effect, we might as well keep most of the population on holiday most of the year!).

So let us say that the UK “lockdown” is ended in June, which seems to be the most likely time.

The “furlough” money paid to laid off workers will end in June, or at the end of June, as matters stand.

The UK private economic sector will be on its knees. Manufacturing will be at a low level. Many factories will not see activity again. The same is true of much of the existing retail sector. The employees in those areas of the economy will be made redundant in their millions.

Many msm/System talking heads and scribblers are opining that the economy will somehow “bounce back” in the Summer or Autumn. How would that work? Demand will remain low, both domestically and outside the UK, because few individual consumers will have both money to spend and the confidence to spend or invest.

There are about 5 million self-employed or freelance people in the UK now. Few are still working. After “lockdown” finishes, there may be only a slow uptick.

I foresee a very slow restart of economic life. In fact, if (when) government largesse (“furlough” money, business loans etc) ends, the economy may go into freefall, quite possible the pound’s exchange rate too. Millions will be officially unemployed or requiring “Universal Credit”.

There will possibly be a kind of 1930s-style “National Government”, either declared as such or de facto. It will become obvious that there is no real (approved) Opposition. Why else would the quasi-dictatorial Coronavirus Act be expressed as going to last for up to 2 years? During that time, Boris-idiot has the option of simply deferring elections! As far as general elections are concerned, that changes nothing, because the misnamed “Conservatives” have until 2024 anyway, but perhaps that Act will be renewed or “reincarnated”. Who knows…

Soon will be the right time to launch either a social-national party or a movement which may or may not contest the rigged System elections (my view is that “all roads lead to Rome”, so one should not dismiss a partly-electoral route out of hand).

Anything will become possible, in a UK where millions are unemployed, where businesses are failing right, left and centre, and where both Government and official Opposition are seen as complicit.

Something other than Coronavirus (from the days before viruses were weapons of war and/or politically causative…)

One of the better films of its type, bearing in mind the inevitable ideological bias in all such films.

[below, a quite interesting film about the German advance on Moscow in late 1941. Some footage that I had not seen. When I was driven past the place of furthest advance, about 14 miles NW of Moscow, in 1993, my young driver, Pasha, made it to (close to) the Kremlin in little more than 15 minutes. How close German forces came to taking Moscow in 1941! History would have been changed beyond recognition, as would the world we know today].

The “electoral road”?

Below, tweets from typical “antifa” idiots:

https://twitter.com/AntiFashWitch/status/1249313405309202432?s=20

(I do not know about whom they tweet, neither does it matter)

Having said that “@antifashwitch” (Roanna Carleton-Taylor) does have a point, albeit not entirely accurate (as one would expect).

Tony Blair set up the Electoral Commission in 2001 with the aim of repressing democracy (whatever the reasons officially given). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_Commission_(United_Kingdom)

Martin Bell, the war reporter and one-term Independent MP for Tatton [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Bell], in a memoir, wrote that the 1998 Act of Parliament which required registration of parties contesting UK elections, which Act preceded the 2000 Act which established the Electoral Commission, was “profoundly undemocratic”.

The problem is not that a party will not be registered, but that later (meaning if the “wrong sort of party” finds electoral success), the Electoral Commission or other bodies will “find” cause to interfere with its campaigns and staff. The BNP, UKIP and now the Labour Party (via the “Equality and Human Rights Commission”) have all been targets.

“Democracy” in the UK is very limited once you dig beneath the surface. The funny thing is that the quasi-“socialist” types that used to be rather rebellious and anti-Establishment decades ago have given way to System slaves (slaves even in their own minds), begging the System to crack down on “fascists” and “Nazis” (i.e. people with whom they disagree politically).

All roads lead to Rome. A political party is good, but may only be part of a multi-headed movement.CFfvYYCXIAAkryu

MSM sycophancy

One example, arguably the most egregious, of the sycophantic scribblers in the contemporary popular prints: Dan Hodges, faux-proletarian, who lives with his family and mother, the famous actress and one-time Labour MP, Glenda Jackson, in a large house in not very proleterian Blackheath.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenda_Jackson

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Hodges

At one time, Hodges was supposedly a Labour Party (Blair-Labour) member and supporter. Now he writes for the Mail on Sunday and his sycophancy would not be out of place in Stalin’s Russia. His mother, a woman of principle, must be spinning (or whatever)!

I personally doubt that this “we are at war”, “Boris is the second Churchill” (second time as farce?), White Cliffs of the NHS stuff is really believed or followed by most people, despite the frankly pathetic (though no doubt well-meaning on the part of many) “Clap for the NHS” Schauspielen.

Coronavirus deaths in the UK have peaked

This is not in fact because of, or even mainly because of, the “lockdown”, however. The government seems to be intent on pretending that it is, though. Fine, but now would be the time to end the “lockdown”, either completely —at once— or in stages over, say, two weeks. The fact that this incompetent government seems intent on keeping the “lockdown” going for weeks more, maybe even to the end of June, is incredible. Massive commercial and industrial damage all over the UK and more deaths from causes other than Coronavirus.

London may recover before too long (economically) because of the financial services industry and (after a while) tourism, but the rest of Britain? The “left behind” areas and regions? The North? I think not.

Every week longer that passes under the lockdown nonsense now puts the UK deeper into a hole which it may struggle to exit.

Tweets

Interesting graph

Image

Interesting and informative, but the government and msm will turn a Nelsonian eye on it, and hope that most members of the public do not see it (or understand it, simple though it be)…

More tweets

That last tweet is important, because it makes the points that matter about UK MPs (most of them, in fact almost all) and ministers, including Cabinet ministers. In Britain and especially in England, the holding of an office does tend to confer often unmerited respect. So we see “Cokehead” Gove and even little Matt Hancock treated with risible deference by the msm.

The most absurd msm sycophancy also lands at the feet of Boris-idiot, at least now that he is not going to snuff it from Coronavirus. He has not just had an unpleasant infection from which he has recovered (thanks in part to nurses whose pay he voted to freeze only a couple of years ago), but is a great war leader who has won a “battle for Britain” (at least in the tiny minds of Sun, Mail on Sunday and Daily Telegraph scribblers).

Most MPs in the UK now struggle, not for greatness, not for great intelligence, erudition, charisma or empathy, but for mediocrity. Many fail to make it even that high. That is why I decided to start my Deadhead MPs series on this blog.

End of the day music

Coronavirus, The World, The UK Economy and The Great Replacement in Europe

I want to step back from the immediacy of this global crisis around Coronavirus, to examine political, social and economic possibilities down the line.

How long will the immediate crisis last in the UK?

Expert opinion varies. Some say many months or even years, but one Nobel Prize-winner, previously proven correct, believes that we are talking about a shorter than generally expected duration: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/coronavirus-michael-levitt-china-italy-a9422986.html

If he is correct, this might be over by early Summer.

Professor Levitt points to Wuhan itself, where, amazingly, only 3% of the population became infected; he also mentions the quarantined ship Diamond Princess. Even on that ship, the infected proportion of all those aboard was only 20% by the end of its journey. More people than expected may have natural —full or partial— immunity.

The professor distinguishes Italy on the basis of its communal social life, tradition of physical contact in everyday life and its very high proportion of elderly people.

The bottom line, as far as the UK is concerned, is that the country may be out of the purely medical emergency by July or even June.

China

As said, global crisis. China is, it seems, emerging from the immediate medical crisis in the Wuhan city and surrounding province, and much of China has not seen large-scale infection. That, however, does not mean that China can return to pre-Coronavirus normal.

China has, since the 1980s, based its economy on exports. If the rest of the world is in recession and stops buying Chinese goods, the Chinese economy falls off a cliff. Is that a serious problem for China or for the West? Both, I suppose.

Even in my own lifetime, i.e. since 1956, the world has seen China go from Soviet ally with typical Soviet-style economic policies, to the misconceived Great Leap Forward and then, in the 1960s, the Cultural Revolution which set China back for decades.

The death of Mao in 1976 was followed by more internecine conflict, personified by the Gang of Four and characterized by the migration of millions of starving peasants to the cities. Even after all of that, and after China started to rise industrially, the attempts of a relatively few students to force the Communist Party to give in to their demand for Western-style democracy led to the late 1980s crackdown.

China, though still socially-backward, has made huge strides economically and technically. If the rest of the world stops buying Chinese goods, that progress may stop. China then will have to either restart large-scale exports or re-orientate its economy to a domestic consumption model. That would be a very hard thing to do.

If China becomes unstable, almost anything could happen. Pressure from the huge Chinese populations on the thinly-populated Far East of Siberia (former Soviet Far East) would become unstoppable. Even now, there has been a gradual and permitted infiltration into Russian Siberia by Chinese farmers, businessmen etc.

On the international stage, China is now somewhere between a regional player and a superpower. Its navy has not far short of 900 large ships (the UK equivalent is about 20), for example.

Russia and USA

Putin’s Russia is famously dependent on hydrocarbon sales. If the world slips into recession, demand for oil and gas reduces. At the same time, the price of oil and gas is already at a low level. Russia’s economy will buckle. That will lead to domestic retrenchment and political instability. The likely outcome is a more aggressive stance in terms of foreign policy. In recent years, the Russian military machine has, like that of China, been significantly upgraded.

The Soviet Union was often derided by foreign diplomats as “Upper Volta with rockets” [for younger readers, Upper Volta was the “state” now known as Burkina Faso]. The point was often taken to be “the Soviet Union is like Upper Volta”, a bit of a joke in other words, whereas the point often missed was “with rockets“. The Soviet Union had the capacity to obliterate most if not all of Western Europe and, indeed, most if not all of the USA. All the military targets and urban centres of importance, for sure. That still applies.

We often think that it matters that the USA has 2x, 5x (or whatever) the nuclear-destructive power of Russia. In fact, in real terms, all that matters is that Russia can land quite a number of missiles on the USA should it see the necessity. Yes, an equal and probably greater number would hit and hit harder the lands of Russia, launched from US bases or submarines, but that fact would not help the unfortunates of New York, Philadelphia, Washington, LA, Houston, Chicago etc.

From the nuclear deterrence point of view, the only important distinction is between states capable of launching an effective targeted long-range (another important distinction) nuclear missile and those without such capability. That is why the USA is desperately trying to stop or at least delay the missile programmes of Iran and North Korea.

Military men tend to think in military terms. In that sense, a few nuclear missiles landing on various cities in North America may not be seen as strategically determinative, whereas in the real world of human society, let us say in the USA, a missile landing on New York City, one on Washington DC and one on Los Angeles collapses the society, pretty much.

We saw what happened during Hurricane Katrina. The USA was unable to deal with a situation in part of one city. Could the USA deal with the destruction of its hundred most important towns and cities? I think not.

UK

As I write, the UK is approaching its most testing time for about 80 years. The Government has mandated the closure of effectively the whole of the economy apart from supermarkets and other parts of the food sector.

At the same time, the Government has decided to support the pay of “furloughed” employees, up to 80% of what had been their pay (I presume net pay), at least for now, and up to a maximum of £2,500 a month. The scheme will last for 3 months, so until the end of June, but may be and probably will be extended. Other support (loans and tax breaks) is targeted at businesses themselves.

The self-employed are so far left out in the cold, though it seems clear that the Government will offer something to them. Whether that help reaches even to the £2,500 per month cap applicable to employees on PAYE is unclear. Probably not.

In any event, it seems that no-one, whether PAYE or self-employed, will get anything at all until sometime in April.

First thoughts

b-cisxdiqaa7qj_-jpg-large

  • “Austerity” is dead. The emergency package rolled out by Rishi Sunak proves beyond all doubt that what the critics of the “austerity” nonsense said was correct: that “austerity” was a purely political choice by the Conservative Party, and particularly by the part-Jews David Cameron-Levita and George Osborne. The whole scam has been exploded by the opening of financial floodgates by Rishi Sunak.  The Universal Credit minimum is going to be £20 a week more, thus increasing cash income of many by about 30% at a stroke.
  • The huge economic stimulus now made available should have been tried back in 2010 or 2012. Countries that stimulated their economies rode out the downturn far better than Britain did under the idiotic Cameron-Osborne “austerity” policies.
  • Has Sunak’s giveaway been motivated mainly by a fear that simply to let the economy collapse would be to invite public disorder? Is that why Sunak arbitrarily (?) put the Universal Credit minimum weekly stipend up to £95? A kind of Danegeld?
  • This would be a good moment to inaugurate a Basic Income. I have often blogged about Basic Income in the past: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/?s=basic+income

The frozen economy

What has happened is that the real economy has now been put into deep freeze for a period the duration of which is unknown but may last for several months. Economic activity is all but zero outside the food sector (and to some extent within it, eg the restaurant and takeaway industries). At the same time, the revenues of both central and local government have been hit by the dropoff in tax revenues: income tax, VAT, business rates etc.

The unspoken reality is that government revenue reservoirs are now not being replenished by the taxes and imposts paid during normal times by those persons and enterprises active in the economy. The governmental apparat and everything done by government is now running purely from “borrowing”, though at historically-very-low interest rates. Bar that, the State is running on empty.

The shutdown of almost everything will wipe out a huge number of businesses in the UK. In fact, that was already happening even before the Coronavirus situation, which then made the situation far worse: Laura Ashley, Primark, Toys R Us, HMV, House of Fraser, Mothercare, Wrightbus, Thomas Cook, Debenhams, to name only the best known. Most of those I have known since childhood. Many others have also become insolvent, such as Jamie’s Italian (restaurants) and Patisserie Valerie. Incidentally, it might be thought that a company such as Patisserie Valerie employed relatively few people. It depends what you mean by “relatively few”, though (900 in the case of Patisserie Valerie).

We see now that the entire “High Street” economy is closed. Much of it will not reopen. The same may be true of much of the rest of the economy.

I think that we can see now why the “emergency measures” in the Coronavirus Bill or Act are drafted to last for (so far) 2 years, not for a few months. We also see why that Bill contains “national security” clauses. The System is afraid.

I wonder how many small or even larger businesses will “furlough” their employees? Many will simply lay them off permanently or sack them. Not every big businessman is as disgusting as Tim Martin of Wetherspoon’s pubs, but many, and especially the smaller businesses, will simply become, in short order, unviable and so insolvent.

In my view, the correct answer would have been to offer former employees, the “self-employed” and others a Basic Income, but not to guarantee 80% of the income of furloughed employees and certainly not to throw money at businesses. Better to give what money there is to give at

  • individuals, via Basic Income;
  • real infrastructure projects on a vast scale (once the medical emergency has passed).

New businesses would then start, fuelled by the money the population would have via Basic Income.

Politically?

Discontent will grow if this situation is not resolved within weeks or, at most, a couple of months. We already see both ex-employees and insolvent “self-employed” (many of whom are not in business but simply doing what would once have been an employed job but now on a “self-employed” basis) crying because they are being asked to live on £95 (cash income) per week. Many of these were Conservative Party voters in 2019, 2017, even 2015 and 2010. They thought that the unemployed and disabled did not “deserve” even £95 per week (or even £75…). Well, “what goes around comes around”.

Basic Income is the right thing for the UK, and I note that that horrible bastard Iain Dunce Duncan Smith opposes it on the basis (the incorrect basis) that it acts as “a disincentive to work”. So says a part-Jap freeloader who has never done a day’s work in his miserable life!

One can see that confidence in the Conservatives is low, but confidence in Labour is even lower! This must open the ground for social nationalism soon.

There must emerge a proper social-national movement. The time is, even now, not yet right, but it may well be by the end of this year.

Coronavirus, China, 5G and bats

Saw this very interesting speculative blog article. Worth reading:

https://anthropopper.wordpress.com/2020/03/12/coronavirus-what-is-its-significance-for-humanity-at-this-time/

NHS, State aid etc

After years of mixed reviews, the truth has hit: the NHS is now basically incapable of dealing at all with the most serious public health danger for decades, possibly since 1918.

  • the number of hospital beds per thousand of population is lower by far than in other “advanced” countries; below that of even the USA, and less than half of the number per capita available in France;
  • the number of intensive care beds is only 4,500 in the whole of the UK, about 1 for every 16,000 people. The number of beds actually operational is nearer to 1,500, so about 1 for every 45,000 inhabitants;
  • if people contract the illness, they are asked not even to call the NHS advice line (111) for over a week! We may as well be in black Africa!
  • people with the virus or who think that they may have it are asked to “self-isolate”, i.e. protect others and society as a whole by staying in their homes (so far, no red crosses are to be painted on their doors…), but for the sufferers themselves, for those that live with them (and the UK has a huge amount of shared occupancy and crowded housing) there is no help, not from the NHS, not from the medical profession, not from the State itself.

The British State has shown itself unable and in essence unwilling to help its people.

Monkey World 2020

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/shocking-cctv-knifepoint-rolex-robberies-jailed-a4386326.html

In the now almost-mythical past (pre-2010), when I myself owned Rolex watches, it only peripherally occurred to me that I might be attacked and robbed for one or another watch. I lived in almost-Central London; also in Almaty, Kazakhstan and elsewhere. I never had a problem (well, not one that could not be handled). Now? London has become a zoo with golden bars.

As to the victims in the report above, some seem very young to be sporting Rolex watches worth £6,000-£7,000. Only 18 and 19! They have wealthy and indulgent fathers? They are Lotto winners? Video game designers? “Rolex robbers” themselves? Well, there it is.

#BorisOut

https://twitter.com/search?q=%23BorisOut&src=trend_click&f=live

In the parallel universe of Twitter, “#BorisOut” is trending, and not unjustly, after Boris-idiot’s pathetic attempt to play the statesman yesterday, and now that more people understand what people like me have been saying for years:

  • Boris Johnson is no good in a crisis;
  • Boris Johnson has no real ideas or ideals;
  • Boris Johnson is merely posing as Prime Minister;
  • Boris Johnson is incompetent

Twitter is far from the real political world at ground level, though. The irony is that most of the mortalities from Coronavirus are likely to be people over 70 who voted Conservative in 2019 and so are directly responsible for this government of fools even being in place. “If you listen very carefully, you can hear the Gods, laughing” [Commodus, allegedly]

One less

I have noticed in the past couple of years that quite a few of those who have engaged in persecuting me, denouncing me to various authorities and snooping on me, as well as insulting me on Twitter, have died or are fast declining by reason of terminal medical conditions. Not a few are also mentally disturbed.

I have just seen today that yet another one has apparently shuffled off the mortal coil.

China

China. What an appalling country. Cruel to animals and people alike. Its technical and organizational capabilities are sometimes impressive (as is its ancient culture) but it is, in the end, backward despite those capabilities and despite that culture.

Harry Dunn case

Dominic Raab, the half-Jew who is now Foreign Secretary under this ZOG regime, stands accused of blackmailing a British family to stop their court action, which relates to the death of their son. Disgrace. All because the UK has gradually become an American colony thanks to Churchill (half-“American” and probable part-Jew) and his successors. Disgrace.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8060929/Harry-Dunns-mother-accuses-Dominic-Raab-using-bankruptcy-threat-stop-search-truth.html

Statement from the family of Harry Dunn:

Why we are fundraising:

Dominic Raab confirmed on 26 November 2019 in a letter to the family’s lawyers that he will be seeking to recover the Foreign Office’s costs of these legal proceedings from Harry’s parents. We have asked him repeatedly to reverse this decision but he hasn’t. This case is likely to be appealed and could go all the way to the Supreme Court, so the costs risk to the family could be upwards of £100,000.

Mr Raab has instructed the Government’s top barrister, Sir James Eadie QC, who acted in the prorogation case, as well as an international law professor, a senior junior barrister and solicitors from the Government Legal Department. This doesn’t come cheap and we are not wealthy people who could afford a huge costs order against us.

The Daily Mail link to the appeal seems to be defective (sabotaged?) so here is that link:

The fruits of globalism and mass immigration

One in ten Britons could end up in hospital with coronavirus according to NHS officials who are drawing up a ‘battle plan’ to tackle the deadly outbreak.” [Daily Mail]

Who are they trying to fool? The NHS can scarcely cope with its present responsibilities and tasks.

I liked a few of the comments to that Daily Mail story, though:

Lets hope Cameron is the first casualty, he cut the NHS budget to the bone so the few could have massive tax cuts.

Labour leadership contest

The latest opinion poll was published 2 days ago, and based on earlier fieldwork :

I do not know enough about internal Labour politics to say how accurate that is, but it looks as though Keir Starmer, whom I thought would be a shoo-in, may not win as easily as predicted.

There is no need for there to be a final 2-candidate contest or “playoff” if one candidate out of the three remaining gets 50%+ of the vote:

https://labourlist.org/2020/01/how-labours-leadership-elections-work-party-rules-in-full/

At present, though, it looks as if Starmer’s support may fall short. If Lisa Nandy comes third in the next round and so is removed from the race, to which candidate will her votes go? It is unlikely that most will go to Rebecca Long-Bailey, so Starmer is almost certainly going to win. Long-Bailey would have to pick up more than three-quarters of Lisa Nandy’s votes in order to overhaul Starmer. Very unlikely, but you never know.

Whichever one wins, they have all kow-towed to the Jewish lobby, so they are all damned as far as I am concerned.

Talking about the Chinese Coronavirus, one disgusting aspect is that it seems that anyone in the UK over 60 and/or those with ongoing health problems will be at the back of the line for NHS treatment or care.

Great…so any migrant-invaders, fake “asylum-seekers”, tinker “traveller” riff-raff, any humanoid straight off the boat or plane, any young “chavscum” etc will be prioritized ahead of those mostly native British people who have worked, striven, created, suffered all their lives, fought in wars, in most cases also having paid in large amounts to the NHS via taxes (including “National Insurance”, which is just an extra income tax).

In fact, the “British” Government (ZOG regime) will welcome, secretly, a cull of the over-60s, because it will save them some of the “holy money” they revere so much.

The Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan in UK television ads…

Many of my readers will be well aware of the sinister Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan:

https://www.westernspring.co.uk/the-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-the-genocide-of-the-peoples-of-europe/ which is sometimes referred to, in part, as The Great Replacement. The mixing of huge numbers of migrant-invaders with Europeans in order to create a mixed-race population (which will be ruled over by a Jew/mixed Jew-non-Jew “elite”: think David Cameron-Levita, Theresa May, Zac Goldsmith etc). This plan was put forwatd by the very sinister Count Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi

Despite the aristocratic European parentage on his paternal side, von Coudenhove-Kalergi was half-Japanese. His first wife was a Jewish actress, and he was bankrolled by uber-wealthy Jew bankers, particularly a Rothschild and a Warburg.

Returning to the question of UK television ads, many have noticed that, in the past few years, the default “TV family” in such ads is a mized-race one, usually with a black as “husband” and “father”, and a white woman, often blonde, as “wife” and “mother”. So common is that scenario now that people are either making jokes about it or getting angry about it, both online and in the comments sections of newspapers. I myself blogged about it a year or so ago:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2018/12/10/tv-ads-and-soaps-are-the-propaganda-preferred-by-the-system-in-the-uk/

Now ASDA (i.e. ad agency employed by ASDA) has produced an ad in that vein: “husband”/”father” black as the ace of spades, white woman as “mother”/”wife” figure, but with the added absurd twist of two “daughters”, one coffee-coloured and with hair sticking out in a semi-Afro, the other girl blonde and the two bearing no resemblance to each other.

I think that we must be clear about all of this. This is cultural war on the peoples of Europe. This is an aspect of “White Genocide”. It is an attempt to eliminate the European peoples as such, and to mix with the European, the African and Asian, and thus to deflect Europe from its historic mission to move eventually, and in the right way, from the 5th Post-Atlantean cultural age (c.1400-c.3500 AD) to the Sixth Post-Atlantean. That is on the high level. On the more mundane level, this propaganda can only lead to the elimination of Europe as a significant world bloc, and to its role being usurped, on the Western flank, by North America, which has to some extent already happened.

Gove

Apropos of nothing much, I have just become aware that, at age 28, Michael Gove, the pro-Israel scribbler, expenses cheat, cocaine abuser and now Cabinet Minister, took part in a film called A Feast At Midnight, released in 1995 to muted reception. Gove’s role was that of the school chaplain. The film had famous actors in it, including Christopher Lee and Robert Hardy, but sank almost without trace.

Films set in schools often do bomb. When I was at school, a film was made there during the summer vacation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unman,_Wittering_and_Zigo_(film). Along with other pupils, I was asked whether I wanted a role as an extra. I declined. I remember David Hemmings, then a well-known actor, taking a class (of about 15-20), presumably to get the feel of his role (a new schoolmaster). I myself exchanged a few words with him. The film was made, but bombed. It is rarely seen even on nostalgia TV channels.

I suppose that there are exceptions, If being one:

When I lived in Little Venice, London, at various times but especially in parts of the 1990s I used to see Peter Jeffrey, the “Headmaster” in If, in the local pub occasionally. We had a couple of brief conversations. My impression: not a very nice man (that was only my impression, though). He was a pretty good actor (he was cast in Anne of the Thousand Days —as the Duke of Norfolk— and in many other major films).

Liz Truss

I suppose, to be fair, that throughout history there have been what the American blacks now refer to as “hoes”, who have exercized influence and even power over governments. In the past, though, there was no hypocrisy, or not much, about from where their influence or power came. Now, we have to pretend that women such as Liz Truss [Con., South West Norfolk] are in Parliament via some sort of merit. As to why she is now a Cabinet minister, that is anyone’s guess.

Droning on

This made me laugh, but at the same time made me wonder what sort of society is developing, not only in China but in Europe too:
