When I was briefly in Prague in 1988 (en route by car from “the West” to Poland), there were no or almost no tourists, and it was still a socialist-model society. The famous Charles Bridge had only a dozen tourists (if that) on it…in peak summer! My second visit was in the Autumn of 1999, and the ambience of the city had changed out of all recognition. Freer perhaps, more crowded certainly, with innumerable tourists.
Policy is key, especially to someone like me. However, it must be admitted that for the general public, policy comes a poor second to presentation. Presentation, in turn, is not entirely in the gift of the political leader or party, unless that party is in power and is a dictatorship or something not far off a dictatorship.
Corbyn was easy to lampoon, an easy target. The Jewish Press (meaning the mainstream newspapers as well as the specifically Jewish community newspapers such as the Jewish Chronicle) were all on Corbyn’s back from the start. They presented him as somewhere between a kind of idiot and a kind of near-terrorist.
You would not think it possible for Corbyn to be presented to the public as both a naive fool and a terrorist enabler, but it was done fairly effectively, though I think that the “crazy Leftie loony” more or less prevailed over the “terror supporter” in the end.
The anti-Corbyn campaign had plenty of material on which to base its attack. The basic facts were true, though (as always) used as the foundation for an ultimately or overall untrue picture.
I always said that Corbyn’s one really good point was his alleged “antisemitism” (anti-Zionism)! In fact, I myself would not regard him particularly as an “antisemite” (and after all, I should know!): he even and frequently paid lip-service to the Jews’ supremacist religious holidays, and also to the “holocaust” narrative.
Other than that, I regarded Corbyn (and blogged to that effect) as a very poorly educated, intellectually incurious crank, with his Lenin cap, his copy of some socialist newspaper (Morning Star? Tribune? Militant? An Phoblacht? Oh, no…that stopped in 1997…), his allotment, his collection of metal manhole-covers etc.

I knew that this sort of censorship happened. I have long argued that the most pernicious “cancel culture” is the one directed toward pro Palestinian speech. But I was shocked at how blatant it was. They were very clear I was being fired for criticism of US policy toward Israel.
I am lucky, however, that I have an independent platform at my own small leftist magazine. This means that I have more ability to speak, because I can survive without getting another newspaper column. If I was freelance it would be much more difficult.

In the 1980s and later, I myself would sometimes visit that market, off Edgware Road, more to walk through than buy, though I did once buy an excellent-quality 2-flask spirit set in tan leather-covered steel from a woman vending from an old suitcase (and probably without a licence). I'm not sure why we're supposed to respect the police if they can't get one of the most basic and fundamental parts of their job right.
I have experienced similar problems with the police a few times over the past few years, particularly in 2017 and 2018. I have blogged many times about the Labour Party. An important topic, in that the UK has a basically binary system which was Liberal Party v. Conservative and Unionist Party until just after the First World War, then Labour Party v. Conservative Party. A situation which still pertains, and which, from the psychological point of view, emerges from the typical British mindset of “rivalry”, which also results in the British love of sporting rivalry, particularly in team sports.

The 2019 General Election made plain that the Labour vote is only about a third of the total vote. Core vote? Maybe 25%.

However, the under-24s are notoriously non-voting.

I do not hold myself out as any kind of expert on Scottish politics, and in fact have never been North of Hadrian’s Wall, but it seems to me that SNP support comes from two main directions: voters committed to “Independence”, and voters disgusted by the other major parties, and so voting by default. At any rate, as I have recently and previously blogged, if the SNP manage to wrest Scotland away from the UK, that pretty much sinks Labour in England and Wales, at least in terms of being a party of government.

I was once trolled (on Twitter, some years ago) by a whole group of idiots grouped around one very stupid woman who thought herself terribly clever, a nurse (oh, yes, one of those supposedly caring, sharing people…) from the North West of England. I had to block about 15, and they had no choice but to FO. Such people are very tiny minds (as can be seen in the tweets of some of the “antifascist” and allied Jew-Zionist crowds).

The UK death toll supposedly “from” “the virus” (i.e. with the virus, and other conditions in almost all cases) is about 78,000 now, in the past year. About one out of every 900 people in the UK.

This is not a game, but war. So far, only one side (the System side, mainly via the Jewish lobby and its “antifa” dupes, and also —in the UK— via the police and CPS) is really playing.
Tweeting, blogging, posting ideas, may be all good, but they do not win this kind of war, whether in the USA, UK, Germany, wherever.
The US military allowed neo-Nazis / white supremacists to sign up to fight in Afghanistan and Iraq because they couldn’t recruit enough soldiers.
Thousands of these veterans are now back in the US.
A lot of things are happening all at once now. Well-known and even famous people being censored or expelled from Twitter etc, platforms such as Parler subject to concerted attack, the UK Government now seriously trying to institute a real police state both online and in the streets. Just a few examples. If it can happen to the President of the United States, what chance has the average Joe got?
This is all part of the Great Reset and Great Replacement. The latest stage of the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.
2022 is fast approaching. An even more significant year than 1989, the previous one in the 33-year Zeitgeist cycle. The secret and/or secretive Western cabals are preparing to seize the world agenda as they did in and around 1989, but in a different way. That is why they either created “Covid-19”, or used its existence as a way of clamping down on free speech (as well as on street demonstrations, travel etc).

I am trying to get this important information out to as many people as I can before the System, possibly using the Jewish lobby or part of it, prevents me from being able to post the truth. There is that danger.
True, my blog only reaches a relatively small number of people (I do not believe that I have ever had 1,000 hits in a single day, and the norm is less than half of that number), but not many other bloggers (if any) are posting some of the stuff I write. I —and my blog— are certainly targets.
Readers of this blog can help by sending my articles and diary pages to others, or linking to this blog in whatever those readers themselves write.
Talking about this blog and its readership numbers, I started writing this blog in late 2016, so have now had 4 full years of operation. 2020 was by far the best year in terms of numbers of visitors and numbers of hits.
The number of both visitors and hits in 2020 was more than double the number of visitors and hits in 2019.
In 2020, the number of hits was 8-9 times the numbers achieved in both 2017 and 2018 (which years resulted in similar numbers of hits).
As for the number of visitors, the number in 2020, while over double that of 2019, was around 6 times that of both 2017 and 2018.
