Morning music

[Hermitage (formerly, Winter Palace), St. Petersburg, Russia]

On this day a year ago

In that year-ago blog post, I saw a few things that now make me laugh all over again, like the very true assertion, contained in a tweet from one of the huge number of Twitter accounts now closed down by the online censors: “Leftism is when you think the best way to stick it to your boss is to ensure he has an unending supply of cheap imported labor..”

Quite. In a nutshell. That Twitter account was American, but it applies just as well here in the UK. Those (eg the “refugees welcome” dimwits) who think that you can have unlimited or almost unlimited mass immigration, yet still have a high-income, high-skilled economy (and also a properly-funded Welfare State), are just completely wrongheaded.

I myself never use “Right”, Left” terminology in any sense which confers legitimacy upon it.

The only extra point to add (and only necessary because there is so much deliberate misinformation around, especially on Twitter) is that many of the migrant-invaders entering the UK will never enter the UK workforce as such, because they not only have no usable skills, meaning skills useful in an advanced economy, but also either speak no English at all, or only at the most basic level (and in many cases never will).

In other words, mass immigration creates a huge drag on the society and economy; you could even call it a millstone around our collective neck.

Of course, the self-describing “Left” have pretty much given up any struggle to create a better society. They have no ideology (beyond vague “anti-racism”, “anti-sexism” etc) which might underpin such a struggle. Socialism in the old sense more or less died in and after 1989, the last significant year of the 1956-1989 ~33-year cycle. What is left is effectively worthless, a farrago of mixed-up nonsense, not only ideologically vague, but practically confused.

The above example about mass immigration is just one example of the confusion. Another is about free speech online. The virtue-signallers of the self-describing “Left” almost all celebrate the removal of social-national Twitter accounts such as mine (rubbed out in 2018 after a conspiracy by a pack of Zionist Jews); the same virtue-signallers celebrate equally the removal of Twitter accounts belonging to so-called “alt-Right” figures such as Katie Hopkins, and those of dissidents such as David Icke.

The “online fora” (Twitter, Facebook, Amazon, ebay etc) are of course all run and actually owned by hugely wealthy companies (and individuals, mostly Jews), but the self-describing “Left” has nothing to say about all that, still less any plan to change the structure; for them, all that matters is that “fascists” (those with whom they disagree) are removed from having any online “platform” (where they might enjoy freedom of expression).

They just do not see that what has happened is that they, and those like them, are now contained in a big gilded cage, where they can squawk endlessly about “racism”, “sexism” etc while having not the slightest real impact on the world.

The same kind of dissonance as over immigration is seen in the attitude of the same people about Palestine, Israel, and the Jewish situation in the world. They (most of them) oppose Israel as a state, and go halfway toward such ideas as “BDS” (economic boycotts of Israel, and avoidance of Israeli products etc), but the majority of them are still brainwashed by the whole “holocaust” farrago, and almost all of them no doubt think that the disastrous and destructive war against the German Reich was A Very Good Thing. Few would see a problem in the fact that exploitative Jewish control of economies, legal systems, political systems permeates what might be called “the Western world”, our world.

Even when they see fraudulent Jewish exploiters such as Philip Green, Robert Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein and others, those self-describing “Left” people see only finance-capitalists…

As Goethe put it in Faust, and from the mouth of Mephistopheles, “the good folk do not see the Devil, even when he sits on their shoulder.” The “Leftists” see only the part of the narrative that fits in with their pre-1989 ideology.

You saw all of the above in the UK Labour Party’s Corbyn and McDonnell double-act: Corbyn with his skeletal “ideology” composed of elements taken, half-baked, from 20thC history, such as the so-called “Battle of Cable Street”, selected and half-understood bits from the Spanish Civil War (“!No Pasaran” etc), anti-Israel support for Palestine, yet at the same time his lip-service to the “holocaust” farrago, and of course “anti-fascism”. As clunky as a Trabant.

Both “sides” of the Labour Party offer nothing to the British people (though neither does this shambolic “Conservative” government, of course).

Unusual travelogue

That YouTube account, though slightly irritating at times, is usually quite interesting. The subtitles are rubbish, but you don’t need to know Russian: mostly English commentary.

As for BAM (Baikal-Amur-Mainline), it was once said, by dissidents, that every Soviet generation had its large and, they claimed, not very useful, engineering project: inter alia, the White Sea Canal, the Turk-Sib railway, the Virgin Lands scheme, and BAM. True, but some of those are at least not useless, and some are also very impressive.

“Thought for the day”

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools
:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

[Kipling, If]

Once again, we see the impact one individual can have on a large-scale problem. The newspaper report is well worth reading.

Both major System parties are basically, and putting it politely, two faces of the same coin.

Only social nationalism has even a chance of saving anything worthwhile in Britain, but there is no social-national party worthy of the name, let alone any social-national movement.

If the State, controlled secretly by inner ruling circles and cabals, turns against the people, then the people have the inherent right to fight back, using whatever methods are expedient.

For “the welfare of the people is the highest law” [Cicero].

A few more thoughts about Ukraine

Any Russian incursion into Eastern Ukraine would have been bloodless, but will now not be, partly because the corrupt Kiev regime will probably try to resist, despite the vast bulk of the Eastern Ukraine population favouring Russia.

The arms and money (and “advisers”) from the UK and —mainly— USA being sent to Ukraine contain the seeds of a wider conflict, because any large-scale resistance by the Kiev government will probably result in retaliation against it by Russian forces. That might include massive attack on Kiev itself. Whether that will result in American direct involvement remains to be seen, though I doubt that the USA has the will to fight Russia directly, on the ground.

Eastern Ukraine was part of the Russo-Slavonic polity for over a thousand years. It was under Muscovite control for hundreds of years. The present corrupt, and basically Jew-dominated, Ukraine, has only been around for 29-30 years as a (failed) state. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Ukraine.

Without interference from outside, Eastern Ukraine would fall under Russian control as willingly as Austria joined with the German Reich in 1938.

As for the USA, does it have the will to put its own safety on the line for the Kiev regime? I doubt it. Biden’s recent statement was a nod and wink to Russia that this will not cause a superpower conflict (if Russia still counts as a superpower…perhaps not, but near enough!).

Yes, the USA probably does have many times the military-destructive power of Russia, but the fact is that Russia could still annihilate most if not all American cities if it so chose, albeit at a like cost. You can only wipe out a city once, no matter how many and how powerful are your nuclear weapons.

As for political leadership, Biden seems to have some form of dementia. If he had to resign, the government of the USA would be, at least nominally, in the hands of part-black, part-Indian, part (small part) Irish, Kamala Harris, but one can assume that the “deep state”, i.e. the secret cabals and ruling circles, would continue to pull the strings. NWO, if you like, and “ZOG”.

Russia looks like it is about to make a big move on the geopolitical chessboard.

Yes, the “panicdemic” has only partly succeeded in corralling the public worldwide, and only partly in the UK as well. Suddenly, “Covid” “restrictions” are going to be stood down, only weeks after the latest scam propaganda over “Omicron”, and how hundreds of thousands would be filling NHS hospitals. All lies.

However, the repressive laws will mostly still be there, ready to be used and indeed repurposed, any time that the “secret state” decides.

Yes, Gates was investing in vaccines over a year before the “panicdemic” started (or was started)…

In looking at recent UK governments, it is always a battle between malice and sheer incompetence…

Waitrose foray

Went to supermarket in local town. Whoever has suffered over the past 12 years of “austerity” nonsense and “lockdown” nonsense, it cannot have been (at least some of) the local people who shop at Waitrose. A superfluity of Range-Rovers and other large SUVs, as well as Porsches, Mercedes, and even the odd Morgan.

Completed my modest shop and bought a £5 scratchcard. Looked like a non-winner, but then it came up trumps. £100. Maybe my luck is changing…

Pretty obvious why. That sort of news does not much interest me.

Architectural reminiscence

I happened to see this website: https://www.anthroposophie.ch/en/arts-architecture/topics/articles/architecture/buildings-surrounding-the-goetheanum.html

In 1978, I was able to visit the Goetheanum, situated in Switzerland, not very far from Basel.

While I was in the area (one week), I had a few interesting experiences, and saw a few things the average tourist does not. Perhaps I shall blog another time about those aspects of my visit. Today, just a few photographs and notes about the Goetheanum and surrounding buildings.

[The Goetheanum, Switzerland: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goetheanum%5D
[Goetheanum at dusk, as I myself first saw it; it was closed for the night, but I was given an unofficial tour anyway]
[Heating Tower, Goetheanum, built 1914]
[Glass House, Goetheanum, built 1914]

When I visited the Goetheanum, the Glass House, originally a place used to work artistically on glass, housed the Natural Sciences section of the Anthroposophical Society. A remarkably modern-seeming building, considering that it was built in 1914.

Good point. Of course, “democracy” is not easily defined, even assuming that it is (whatever it is) a “good thing”. I have examined these questions a few times on the blog: see, eg, https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/15/has-parliamentary-democracy-as-we-have-known-it-until-now-had-its-day-in-the-uk/

All true, but this is merely more “controlled opposition”.

The post-1945 world order has been falling apart for some time: the fall of socialism after 1989, the rise of China, the migration-invasion by blacks and browns into Europe and other formerly white European lands. As in Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four, there are now, in simple terms, three large players: USA (with client-states such as the UK), China (with its clients), and Russia, struggling but still there, still with massive armed forces and very large numbers of ICBMs.

Orwell was in some ways a prophet, but (having seen Stalinism crush almost everything before it in the 1930s and 1940s) could not imagine that socialism (Stalinism and all other forms of old-style socialism) would just disappear, as it —in effect— has done.

Our present world is not pure Nineteen Eighty-Four but only partly-so; there are elements of Brave New World as well, and other nuances. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brave_New_World; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nineteen_Eighty-Four

Germany in 1914 and 1939 could not devastate the UK with nuclear weapons; China might be able to do that, though its present strategy seems to be simply to flood Europe with all sorts of Chinese immigrants, thus fulfilling the maxim of Sun Tzu: “to win without war is the supreme excellence“…[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Tzu; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Art_of_War].

At any rate, the UK has much to lose and nothing to gain by —once again— doing what the USA’s ruling circles want the UK to do. Much of what China does is appalling, but the UK is not in a position where it can challenge China, realistically.

Diary Blog, 26 February 2021, including some thoughts about crazy cults

The madness of belief

I was listening last night to BBC World Service; a piece about “Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajneesh], one of the “gurus” of the 1960s and 1970s, and favoured by the hippy element (and some pop stars).

There was a whole mass of odd “gurus”, supposed religious teachers etc around at that time. Most were broadly of Hindu orientation, though some were Buddhist, or even “Christian”, e.g. the “Reverend” Jim Jones [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Jones]. Some invented their own religions, as did L. Ron Hubbard (who invented Scientology in the 1950s), and the “Reverend” Moon of South Korea, whose “Moonies” became a pest across the Western world. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Myung_Moon; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L._Ron_Hubbard

As a matter of fact, I was wandering around London, I think in 1978, aged 21, when two people, a young man and a young Asian woman, accosted me in Edgware Road. I was living in Little Venice at the time. I quickly guessed that they were Moonies but, curious, allowed myself to be invited to their HQ, which turned out to be a fairly large house in, I think, either Paddington or Notting Hill. The latter, as far as I can remember.

I was given a drink (instant coffee, I think) and a biscuit, and was then invited to an odd lecture (audience: about a dozen people, all young) by a possibly Korean, or Chinese, woman, not unattractive and aged about 30-ish.

I was slightly worried (the Moonies having been the subject of tabloid Press outrage) that I might be somehow prevented from leaving, but once the lecture was over (it concerned some weird ideas about how the Earth was created, the lecturer using a blackboard and chalk circles), I simply expessed a polite but firm intention to leave, thanked them, and walked out, never to see (as far as I know) another Moonie for the rest of my life.

As far as Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh is concerned, the only one of his disciples or former disciples I met was a woman whom my then girlfriend invited to the home we (sometimes) shared. That would have been mid-1980s.

The woman, divorced, had completed a Master’s degree at the University of Essex in the 1970s, where my 1980s girlfriend, a Cambridge graduate, had been taking a higher degree at the same time. The other woman had married a Jew, and brought her two rather unpleasant, rude and badly-behaved young sons (aged about 4 or 5) with her. She was, I had been told, a senior official in the —even then, rather notorious— Haringey Council in North West London.

She started talking about how she had at one time been involved with the Rajneesh cult (she referred to the Indian as “the Bagwash”, perhaps in an attempt not to seem brainwashed). She said that she could still see some value in what the cult taught. I could only listen, not knowing anything to speak of about that cult. I certainly had no idea that it was at least partly a “sex cult”! The afternoon did not end very amicably.

The “guru” himself is now dead, having had a heart attack at age 58 in 1990.

Bhagwan beweging gekwetst door reclame-affiche van het NRC met de tekst profeet , Bestanddeelnr 933-0734-cropped.jpg
[“Rajneesh Shri Bhagwan” in 1984]

Listening to the BBC broadcast [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-44300915], what struck me most was the sheer decadence not (only) of the “guru” but more so of the white Western people who bowed down to what Churchill might have called (his description of Gandhi) “a half-naked native fakir“.

Of course, to be fair, Rajneesh was only an Indian con-man, not a supposed political “saint” whose activism led to the Partition of formerly British India, with the loss of life possibly topping 2 million: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partition_of_India. [cf. Mandela…]

To my mind (no doubt “prejudiced”, “racist” etc…), it is almost beyond belief that young European (white) women from the UK, Germany, USA etc would want to have sexual relations with the Rajneesh creature. Does “group hypnotism” or “Stockholm Syndrome” explain some of that?

Likewise, the idiots not only accepted that Rajneesh was screwing many of the women, but accepted his extravagance on himself, as they slaved to bring in money to the cult, and/or gave their own money for the use of the “guru”.

Rajneesh had just under 100 Rolls-Royce cars, for example. The photos below show him expounding his “truths” to the “chelas”; also, his white serfs lining up to worship him as he drove past, covering them in dust. Madness. Rassenschande.

Bhagwan 1976
Hugh Milne
by Samvado Kossatz on the ranch in Oregon, 1982 - in the early 2000s, Samvado allowed use of the photo conditional on him getting the photo credit.

Did they stand there clapping, too? Or was mere silent worship enough?

I imagine that most of the followers were probably not hugely intelligent. Certainly, the Scottish bodyguard reminiscing on the BBC did not give a very intelligent impression. Still, interesting from the psychological point of view. The followers were (superficially) seeking enlightenment, sought it from Rajneesh, and seem not to have been too fazed by his sexual antics, or by his ownership of about 94 Rolls-Royces. Very odd, to me. I suppose that I am rather an ancient Roman, in my way…

Rajneesh was not the only guru-figure who liked Rolls-Royce cars: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prem_Rawat#Lifestyle

Eventually, the Rajneesh cult ended in tears, with murder plots, criminal charges etc. The cultists even tried to kill 750 Oregon inhabitants by poisoning. Shades of Jonestown [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonestown]. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1984_Rajneeshee_bioterror_attack; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ma_Anand_Sheela.

To any Western person of rational mind, that cult was crazy, as are or were “Jonestown”, Scientology, Moonies etc. There are literally thousands of other examples, from “Maharaj Ji” to the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the believers in “Joanna Southcott’s box”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joanna_Southcott; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prem_Rawat; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehovah%27s_Witnesses

Indeed, the Westernized Indians also look with disfavour upon the cults, such as those mentioned, the “Hare Krishna’s” etc, which mostly appeal to Western people. Books have been written, by satirical Indians, about it. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karma_Cola

Having said that, of course some of the major religions of today were once regarded by many of the people of the time of their inception as equally crazy. Christianity was looked upon as both mad and seditious by Rome, until Constantine adopted it. The same could be said of Islam, mutatis mutandis.

The only guides are reason, conscience, and instinct.

Looking at it in the wider historical context, cults and fantastic beliefs have always existed, but seem to flourish more during times of collapse of existing order and established belief.

Interesting psychological experiment. Not surprising though. A virus which kills one in a thousand people has been presented as a “Black Death”, and has led to human “rabbits” wearing facemasks as ordered (and even when walking alone in the open air!), keeping away from each other, making their children into poor pathetic muzzled and isolated units even in school, and so on.

Not a bad film, but arguably far too sympathetic to the fugitive couple. Few were arrested solely for their opposition to the Vietnam War. Fugitives of that sort usually were wanted on charges of murder, manslaughter, robbing banks, setting off bombs etc.

There was a similar case in real life, seen on TV by me when I was staying on the Gulf Coast of Florida in 1999. A woman in (I think) Ohio, or somewhere that way, was arrested. A housewife/homemaker, married to a dentist who knew nothing of her past (if I am remembering correctly) or her real name. Arrested on Federal warrant originally dated sometime around 1970.

I think that this was a similar case: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2002/jan/20/duncancampbell.theobserver; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Underground#Legacy

Mark Collett

As noted yesterday, Mark Collett of Patriotic Alternative was expelled by Twitter. Here is his commentary on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lAUVrCNxsM&feature=youtu.be

Collett is echoing my blog posts about the phenomenon. As he says, others preceded him, including me. Also including, inter alia, David Icke, Katie Hopkins, many many others. I myself was expelled in 2018, at the instigation of the usual coalition of Jew-Zionists and “antifa” dupes.

Collett also echoes in his video what I have been saying —at least since my talk at the London Forum in early 2017— about “the privatization of public space“.

Alarming, but the ageing European population should not be an excuse for the importation of blacks, browns and others who are racially non-European. White Northern Europeans should be having children.

…and the man who also had an affair with Tony Crosland, who, like Jenkins, was also a Cabinet minister under Harold Wilson! I had no idea until recently, when I was researching something completely different: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Crosland#Personal_life; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Jenkins#Marriage_and_personal_life; https://www.theguardian.com/books/2015/may/16/double-lives-a-history-of-sex-and-secrecy-at-westminster.

Yes. Toby Young has said not a sausage in defence of the free speech of Alison Chabloz, who is still undergoing fresh persecution by the Jew-Zionist lobby, led by the fake charity called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA” (in fact, she is supposedly going to be on trial yet again at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London soon, if the trial actually proceeds). Neither did Young (or the Spectator fake “free speech” mag) say anything in support of Jez Turner, quite wrongly sentenced to 12 months in prison two years ago.

For that matter, Young and that whole “libertarian” cabal failed to say anything supportive of me over the years (eg when the Jew lobby had me disbarred in 2016).

I still think that one way Trump could really mess with the heads of his opponents and the “antifa” swine would be to grant Presidential pardon to hundreds of broadly social-national people who are presently serving time in Federal prison. There’s nothing to stop Trump doing that.

Barnardos goes full SWP…

I cannot prove it statistically, but non-whites usually give little to charity. Look at India and other parts of the world. White, mostly British people, helping the poor and suffering, while Indians usually do little. That applies especially to the wealthy Indians. Egypt is even worse.

Ah…just seen it: Barnardos is now headed by one Javed Khan…https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javed_Khan_(executive), who is paid just under £200,000 per year.
