Well, an unusual week, in that I was outscored by political journalist John Rentoul, who managed 6/10; I only got 5/10. I nearly guessed the answer to question 1, but could not be sure, and also came close on question 7. As it was, I only knew for sure the answers to questions 2, 3, 6, 8, and 9.

Zionists fake cry in an attempt to get a peaceful, law-abiding protest shut down.
Exactly so. Labour actually offers nothing (except, possibly, arguably, tighter administration) that is not offered or done by the present “Conservative” misgovernment. Having said that, the voters plainly wish to punish the Government for being so weak and, indeed, hopeless.
It was surprising to see that just over a third of the Kingswood voters who voted, still voted Con, albeit that the turnout was well under 40% (so only about 10% or so of all eligible voters voted Con), but that may indicate that in a general election, the Con vote in that constituency (were it not being abolished) would be nearer to 20% or 25%, on a putative turnout of about 70%. However, that would still be not enough to win (were the seat to still exist at GE 2024).
According to the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] cabal (on its website), “lord” Ian Austin, the notorious Israel-lobby and Jewish-lobby puppet who was once an MP, and who is one of the “Patrons” of the “CAA”, actually wrote to the Director of Public Prosecutions in 2022 demanding that I be prosecuted for expressing my views on this blog.
Regular readers of the blog will know that I was tried last November, found guilty on all 5 counts, and will be sentenced next month. Freedom of expression is almost dead, and a large part of the reason for that is the existence of the Jew-Zionist lobby.
Austin is very odd. He once tweeted that pornography involving bestiality should be decriminalized, a view echoed by the Jewish girl at the centre of the campaign against Dr. David Miller of Bristol University. Those tweets were later deleted. At the same time, Austin thinks that “holocaust” “denial” should be criminalized!
Austin’s quite long Wikipedia entry says nothing at all about his personal life.
You can bet that Austin makes sure to “sign on” at the House of Lords every sitting day, in order to get his c.£350 a day taxfree cash “allowance” and other freebies.
I wonder how many other lucrative part-time jobs (in the argot of today, “side-hustles”) Austin has. That housing chairmanship was almost certainly only one of several.
Austin almost personifies the corrupt pro-Israel political system of the UK today, as well as Starmer-Labour.
Tories said they'd lower migration Then put it on steroids Tories said control borders Then lost control Tories say we are sovereign But won't leave ECHR Tories blame Labour But won't change New Labour law Tories promised new economy Then gave us more of the same
And here we have it, unconsciously laid bare. It is the perfect summation of the Tory mindset; Parliament is for people who know how to make money; wasted on those who allegedly don’t. What bleak vision. It must be driven out. pic.twitter.com/XGgOHdhfeo

When I was a GP 10 years ago, these were the wait times for a medical specialty referral:
Lack of funding is part of that, but I doubt that the tweeter (obviously Indian) would agree that another large part of the problem is the half-million to a million immigrants of various kinds every single year.
Yes, a tiny percentage of the migration influx consists of doctors and nurses, but the other 99.9% are those who will not work in the NHS but will use its services.
Then factor in the disastrous “lockdowns” and/or restricted service throughout 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Then factor in the other recent developments: the strikes in the NHS, and the explosion of part-time working by GPs and the better-paid clinical staff generally, and also the phenomenon of medical students getting trained here in the UK, mainly at UK taxpayers’ expense (despite student loans), then emigrating to countries such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc for more money and a better lifestyle. They should have to work in the NHS for 5-10 years after qualification and training.

[Home ownership rates by age. Source: Sunday Times]
“Highlighting the fact mass immigration is directly fuelling our housing crisis clashes with the elite’s “luxury beliefs”. Routinely, they demand more and more immigrants, looser and looser borders, to project their liberal beliefs to other elites all the while knowing they and their families will never be the ones to have to compete with immigrants and newcomers for a roof above their heads.”
“As Andrew Neil said in response: “And the Tories wonder why young folks won’t vote for them”. Indeed. At the looming general election just 8% of Zoomers from Generation-Z plan to vote Conservative.
This is why, last weekend, housing secretary Michael Gove went further, touring media in Westminster to warn if young British people and families remain unable to get on the housing ladder ‘they will abandon democracy’.“
Our day in the sun may be nearer than we ourselves, as social nationalists, realize.
Look at recent by-elections. Only a third of voters are even bothering to vote. They despise the System parties and refuse to validate those “elected”, who have no real legitimacy.
By that date (2036), UK society will have either collapsed into civil war or chaos, or be very close to that point.
Only social nationalism can save Britain; and, frankly, even that will be a struggle. Things are very bad and, equally important, getting worse, and rapidly.

“Scholz blocked the candidacy of Ursula von der Leyen for the post of NATO Secretary General, – Welt. According to the publication, there were two reasons for this:
Scholz considers the position of NATO Secretary General too important to give it to a Christian Democrat from Germany (opposition to Scholz’s party).
Scholz considers Ursula von der Leyen’s attitude towards Russia too critical.“
Die Welt is a heavyweight German conservative newspaper. Its business-oriented attitudes make it interesting that, recently, its coverage has mellowed towards Russia. The sanctions on Russia, and the general hostility to Russia from such as Ursula von der Leyen harm, not Russia, but Germany itself (and the rest of the EU).
Ursula von der Leyen always strikes me as —in the American phrase— “nutty”— excessively driven, and even mentally-ill. Another similar specimen is Christine Lagarde. NWO insiders.
It looks like Scholz and other major political players in Germany are waking up to the fact of the inevitable Russian victory in Ukraine, certainly in Eastern Ukraine. Realpolitik.

Unsurprising, given that Milei is a populist. However, this may be shadow boxing.
The UK now has not the power and global reach to defend the islands, certainly not to retake them after an invasion, as happened in 1982.
However, by the same token it may well be that the Argentine government does not today have the ability to launch such an invasion in the first place; I am unsure.
According to Bloomberg, the UK is working with the US and other allies to supply Ukraine with thousands of UAVs equipped with artificial intelligence technologies.

In the unlikely event that Russia starts to be pushed back significantly on the battlefield because of such weapons given to the Kiev regime, the escalation might result in Russia using ever-heavier missiles and bombs, even tactical nuclear weapons. Kiev could be completely flattened
There must be a peace process that leaves Russia with, at minimum, Crimea, the Donetsk region, and the Lugansk region, and at least much of the Azov Sea and Black Sea littoral.
That relates to the Russian victory in the devastated city of Avdeevka (“Avdiivka” in Ukrainian). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avdiivka. Victory was declared by the Russian side only today. The Kiev-regime forces not killed or captured have withdrawn in disarray.

Interesting, if true. A few thoughts come to my mind. Firstly, what conceivable British interest was being served here? None, in my view. As to the alleged MI6/SIS officer, he seems to be a good listener (which must be part of his job) and is evidently trying to be non-committal yet friendly (also part of his job, I presume). Other than that, hard to say much about him. Maybe privately-educated but trying to flatten the accent (like the present Prince of Wales and his brother)? Maybe, maybe not. A suitably “grey” person…
Navalny and his group were playing for high stakes. They lost.
There's no restrictions. No objection by police to placing flowers. Nothing. They are entirely polite and helpful.
The msm in the EU, UK, USA etc all show the masses a series of pictures (on TV, in the Press) etc; metaphorical pictures; shadows on the wall of the cave, if you like. “Ukraine”, “Navalny”, “Black Lives Matter”, “Covid”, “far right extremism”, “Russia about to attack Western Europe”. Mostly lies, or the truth bent so far out of shape that it becomes a lie.

[River Ob at Barnaul, Western Siberia. At that point, the Ob is still 1,200 miles from where it flows into the Arctic Ocean]
Talking of American “Christian Zionists”, when I lived in New Jersey, over 30 years ago, one would often see cars carrying bumper stickers, occasionally amusing. One such was that proclaiming “If the driver of this car disappears, he has gone to Rapture“, “Rapture” being the idea that the religiously “Blessed” will all be taken up and protected by higher powers as the world in general is destroyed.
Actually, there were several bumper stickers seen back then that I found amusing, such as “My wife— yes. My car— maybe. My gun— NEVER!“, and the short and rather bitter “Jane Fonda— American traitor bitch“.
Most English people do not go in for bumper stickers, though I saw one many years ago in Cornwall that said “Too close for missiles; switching to guns“, which I took to be a former Naval person of some sort.
"The Tories have been promising for 13 years to turn around Britain’s migration tanker. Instead they have put it into overdrive. Wherever this ends up, it does not look good."https://t.co/mZ7A9vx8tT
“I’ll admit it: I never really expected the Tories to cut migration by much, despite their promises. But I also didn’t expect them to double it. In fact, net migration has more than doubled since Covid. In 2019, about 227,000 more people arrived than left the UK. In the year ending December 2022, it was 745,000.
[that’s “more than tripled“, not merely “more than doubled”]
One might explain that extraordinary figure as a product of one-off factors: a catch-up after the pandemic, plus the Ukraine and Hong Kong schemes. But as of this week we have another half-year of data. In the year to June 2023, net migration still added an astonishing 672,000 to our population. So this is not an anomaly.
It is a further, massive liberalisation of Britain’s economic and social model after a period in which voters have made it overwhelmingly, blisteringly clear that they want to tighten it.
The rationale, as ever, is the fiscal bottom line. During the past couple of decades migration has increasingly been the lever pulled to smooth out structural problems in our economy, but never has it been used so dramatically. The latest uptick in numbers is driven primarily by the recruitment of overseas care workers, who were made eligible for visas only early last year. Within months, care workers began to account for a third of all long-term work visas granted by the entire British immigration system.
Why did this happen? The government’s migration quango, the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC), stated that visas might be used as a “temporary” measure to make up for the inability to recruit immigrants from the EU. But this “temporary” measure has led to a surge in care workers far greater than we have seen before, this time from India, Nigeria and the Philippines rather than eastern Europe. Like the previous surges, it will no doubt permanently alter the labour market.
The main effect is to prevent wages from rising and working conditions from improving. The MAC has stated for years that we do not have enough care workers because care homes don’t pay them enough. Turnover in the sector runs at 28 per cent, creating a constant need for overseas recruits.
Unfortunately, instead of solving the shortage, the new recruits mainly replace current workers. As Miriam Cates pointed out in parliament this week, the UK recruited 70,000 care workers last year but vacancies in the sector only dropped by 11,000. Meanwhile, 20,000 British staff left, making the workforce ever more reliant on visas, which in turn gives employers greater power to exploit staff and effectively shave wages further. So much for this being a temporary fix.
In most sectors, of course, we would demand to know why employers are not fixing the problem. During the chronic shortage of lorry drivers after Covid, the spotlight rightly fell on the haulage industry, which had not delivered a real-terms pay rise in the UK for more than a decade. The usual suspects declared that solving the problem without much higher migration was impossible because modern Britons are constitutionally ill-suited to driving lorries. Instead, the industry began handing out massive bonuses and the government granted more licences. Miraculously, the shortage eased.
Why can’t the care sector do the same? Quite simply, because its biggest customer is the government and the government won’t pay up. It would rather let the sector run on knife-edge margins and loosen visa requirements. In other words, it is cannibalising its own supply chain in the manner of the most short-sighted and rapacious corporate.
The stupidest part is that this will probably end up costing money rather than saving it. The data suggests that whereas EU migrants tended to pay more in taxes than they received in benefits, non-EU migrants are, on average, net recipients from the tax system. This is particularly true when they bring dependent family members, as many on the new visa scheme do, and work minimum-wage jobs, as in the care sector.
Worse, despite overseeing a huge increase in annual migration, the government has made absolutely no plan for how it will build the additional infrastructure, housing and public services capacity needed to make sure the new workers have everything they need. The Treasury does not account for these costs at all on the bottom line. Perhaps that is because it knows the government cannot build this stuff anyway — in which case, the economic cost will be reflected in overcrowding, rationing, queues, rising rents and a general deterioration in living standards.
As should be obvious, none of this is the fault of the workers themselves. And if I had a close relative in care, it is the attitudes of the staff that would interest me rather than their home continent. This is not a question of judging individuals by their background. It is a question of numbers, the pace of cultural change and the economic model this country aspires to build.”

“Woke” is a pseudo-religious belief system which views minority groups as sacred, is hostile toward the majority, subordinates individual rights behind fixed group (racial/sexual/gender) identities, opposes the objective scientific method in favour of subjective “lived experience”, & expands speech codes (“hate”, “racism”, etc) to erode free speech and try and silence critics in the name of “social justice”.“
In some respects, Matt Goodwin talks a lot of sense, but his apparent adherence to the Jew-Zionist lobby rules him out, politically.
After CAA action, former barrister Ian Millard found guilty of offences relating to comments about Jews.
Once again, the CPS dragged its feet and only acted after we applied pressure.
The “CAA” goblins, admitting once again (they have done so several times) that I was recently prosecuted only because they applied politicalpressure for that over the past two or three years.
They also admit that the “CAA” has been secretly pushing for my prosecution (on various trumped-up charges) since at least 2016, and have admitted on their website that Jew-Zionist-lobby puppet “lord” Ian Austin (the former expenses cheat MP and Israel puppet) had actually written to the Director of Public Prosecutions demanding that I be prosecuted.
Apparently, this was because tweets on my then-existing Twitter account (closed in 2018 after more pressure from the same Jew-Zionist lobby) were supposedly “antisemitic”.
Ironically, the “CAA” thus shot themselves in the foot, because the closure of my Twitter account in 2018 meant that the CPS did not have evidence sufficient to charge me —as the “CAA” and suborned police idiots wanted— with a more serious offence —absurd though that would have been— that of “incitement to racial hatred“.
Soon, the Online Harms Bill will be law. Under that law, I could not have been prosecuted at all (because “harm done” will apparently be the nub of the new law and, in my recent prosecution and trial, the Crown Prosecution Service admitted from the outset that there had been no harm done by the 5 allegedly “grossly offensive” blog posts allegedly published). Neither were they able to produce even one notional “victim”.
I suppose that the “CAA” goblins will then have to invent some “harm done” so that they can continue to repress free speech via a supine or suborned police and CPS establishment.
Once someone can give me a satisfactory explanation as to how I survived the deadly plague of 2020, despite not masking, not staying in my house, not taking the “vaccine” and literally doing the exact opposite of everything I was told to do, I will delete my Twitter account.

I agree. Both my (slightly younger) brothers, both amateur sportsmen all their lives, both without previous serious medical conditions (one living in the UK, one in Australia), had emergency heart operations in 2022. Idiots like her, however, are taken care of by the corrupt System even when the voters chuck them out, as happened to Esther McVey in 2015. Antarctica is a barren wasteland with little vegetation and few animals. Can you even imagine dinosaurs moving around in Antarctica amid massive forest fires?
But it appears that this was a thing on the frozen continent 75 million years ago
Since 1989 (the first year of the present 33-year cycle), the transnational conspiracy often called the New World Order or “NWO” (internationally), and Zionist Occupation Government or “ZOG” in terms of the domestic politics of various countries, has gradually disempowered the Arabs and other Muslims, while strengthening the hand of the Israeli state and (to use an old term) “World Jewry”.
Indeed, the very public proclamation of the New World Order, in early 1990, in a speech by President Bush (senior), was the prelude to the first war against Iraq, more than a decade before his son, George W. Bush, continued the assault by invading Iraq itself. The 2001 attack on the World Trade Center in Manhattan was the casus belli for war with Iraq, despite Iraq (and Iran) having apparently known nothing of it.
Israel’s main enemies in geopolitical terms, meaning Iraq, Syria, Egypt, were gradually destabilized and removed from the board, from 1989 to 2021, thus leaving Israel pre-eminent in the region.
Smaller and generally anti-Israel states were dealt with in more or less the same way: Libya, Tunisia, Yemen.
That leaves Iran as the only obstacle to Israel’s regional supremacy. Iran’s ancient history and large (and —overall— not-badly-educated) population, its oil, its industrial capacity, all make Iran a target for Israel and “World Jewry”.
It cannot be long before Israel attacks Iran with tacit or overt US support. Suitable excuses will no doubt be produced, anything from Iran’s nuclear programme to cartoons mocking the so-called “holocaust” farrago.
Once Iran is attacked and reduced (in strategic areas) to rubble, there will be a campaign to “overthrow the regime” (as in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine etc), and maybe foment a civil war.
The result, if the Israeli, American, and other Jews are successful, will be (in effect) a Greater Israel. The venal Gulf Arabs have already surrendered to Israel and its wider Jewish diaspora. Diplomatic relations, and airline flights, between Dubai and Israel, Bahrain and Israel.
No surprise to me. The Gulf Arabs worship the “Money Power”, and have little other (culture, identity, even religion) to oppose such worship. Saudi Arabia has made no public statement, but is on the same page.
Israel does not have to immediately plant its flag of conquest over the capitals of the region. Slow, gradual annexation by commerce and the Jewish-American cultural influence will do the job.
Can Iran do anything to stop the above-delineated process? I wonder.
Sabrina Miller is the Jewish Zionist girl student who was at least the figurehead behind the Israel-lobby campaign to have anti-Israel academic, Professor David Miller, sacked from Bristol University, a campaign which was successful (though the Professor is now taking legal action).
Sabrina Miller’s piece about bestiality betrays no understanding about the decent treatment of animals. As a Jewish individual, she quite likely supports (though I have no direct information that she does) the cruel Jewish practice of kosher (kashrut) slaughter of animals. If so, that is, again, hardly surprising.
I should add that she seems to imply, in that piece, that she herself might favour vegetarianism. If so, a positive tick as far as that goes.
There is an intensifying repression of free speech in the UK, particularly when it comes to any mention of Jews that is not laudatory, so I suppose that I must not draw too wide a set of conclusions from the above…

It is not November yet. It is true, though, that poppy-wearing is dying out.
Remembrance Day, or as my maternal grandmother [1900-1988] always called it, in the old way, Armistice Day, was a creation of the First World War and its aftermath, kept going after 1945.
There are now no British people alive who were alive during that first terrible conflict, and none who were much more than children during the second.
There is, of course, another aspect, in that the burgeoning population of blacks, browns, and those of mixed race etc have no real organic connection to England or Britain, so naturally feel no nostalgic emotional need to wear a poppy.
I have now seen part of the first episode, about 20 minutes. I do not usually have the patience to keep watching after a poor start.
Pretty poor; in fact worse (as entertainment) than I had expected. I may see some more at some future time, but I doubt it.
Various critics, including some Jews, have apparently not been hugely impressed by the plot, let alone the details.
I should imagine that the series will sink without trace.

I made the mistake of switching on the car radio this afternoon. The once-interesting (long ago) PM show. 10 minutes was enough. “Covid” nonsense, “COP26” nonsense, and little else. Turns out that Greta Nut has been interviewed (again?) by Andrew Marr.
Incredible. What other poorly-educated, mentally-afflicted teenager (who has actually done nothing anyway) gets respectfully interviewed by someone who is (rightly or wrongly) a major msm current affairs bod? Why should anyone be interested in what Greta Nut thinks about US Government policy? PM presenter Evan Davis then referred to her as “Greta”. She thus joins the select few known universally by first name, such as “Boris”, “Fidel”, “Jesus” etc.
This is a farce, but of course is just part of the propaganda campaign internationally. “Greta” has no more part to play, of her own, than does a ventriloquist’s dummy.

I have been wary of Chris Tarrant ever since I saw some “holocaust” rubbish he was pushing on TV. Naturally, as a “media person”, he wants to keep in with the Jew element that infests the mass media. Still, it is a pity that his type has little or no principle. Now I see that he is being exposed on Twitter:

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on April 7, he admitted the breach of his community order.
Wright, of Wills Road, Southampton, was handed a community order.”
Well, the fellow only assaulted a policeman, after all (then failed to comply with the terms of his initial sentence); it’s not as if he sang songs satirizing Jewish “holocaust” fakes and hoaxes, in the manner of Alison Chabloz! Be fair!…
Meanwhile, on the Coronavirus front
“The Government has denied claims Whitehall officials have calculated up to 150,000 lives could be lost as a result of the lockdown.” [Daily Mail]
Note that: not “because of Coronavirus” but “because of the ‘lockdown'”.
“It is worse than all but the bleakest projection if social distancing measures had not been introduced.” [Daily Mail]
So even the pro-Government newspaper people are waking up to the fact that the “lockdown” is causing, and/or will cause, directly and indirectly, more deaths than the Coronavirus itself.
Prince William
Ha ha! That thick princeling has exposed his mediocrity (again)…
Prince William is a privileged, tax payer funded knob! Of course it’s easy for for him to say that Britain “is at its best in a crisis”(thousands of people died this weekend) from his palace. He or any member of his family have done nothing of significance during this crisis! pic.twitter.com/c2UuaSjWZb
Oh dear. Actually, I have nothing much against “William”, except the absurdity of such a person eventually becoming a head of state (and, in the meantime, living a life of unbelievable privilege while pretending to be a human charity-bot). The bottom line, though, is “do we need him and his family?” Answer: no.
Ian Austin
The ex-MP, Ian Austin, is still pushing the Jew-Zionist-Israel cause on Twitter and elsewhere. The bastard certainly set the bar low when he was an MP:
pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby;
against freedom of speech (eg. re. “holocaust” fakery);
one or the worst expenses cheats and embezzlers of the 2005-2010 Parliament, and one who, in any other occupation, would have been prosecuted and probably imprisoned for fraud;
seems to have an interest in bestiality, of all things, or at very least thinks that pornography about it should be decriminalized!
I would not be surprised were I to discover that Jewish or Israeli sources paid out Tom Watson in cold hard cash, maybe offshore. Only my own genuine and reasonable opinion, of course. I have no direct evidence that such is the case…
Labour is finished. It need not have been. In 2017, Labour still had a run in it, had Corbyn had the courage (and actually the intellect) to challenge the Jews head-on. Now (((they))) have basically taken back what is left of Labour. The new leader, Keir Starmer, is married to a Jewish woman (a lawyer) and their children are being brought up as Jewish. Starmer has appointed Friends of Israel members as Shadow Cabinet members: Rachel Reeves, Lisa Nandy, Nia Griffith etc.
At present, Labour is around 25% in the all-UK opinion polls, for what that is worth.
In Scotland, those of generally social-democratic or even socialist views vote SNP for the most part. The lesbian bigmouth who once “led” Scottish Labour has long ago departed for the shekels of life as a Press columnist and North-of-Hadrian’s-Wall TV talking head, leaving her successors as “who he?” nobodies.
Scottish Labour now runs at about 12% in the polls, and has only about 20,000 members (and falling), out of about 5.5 million inhabitants of Scotland. About 1 Scottish Labour member for every 275 people in Scotland. The party now has only 1 Westminster seat (out of 59 in Scotland), 23 MSPs (out of 129), and only 241 out of 1,227 local government seats in Scotland. The message is clear: this is a declining, terminally-declining, rump of a formerly-powerful party.
The same is true to a lesser extent in England. Membership is high at nearly 600,000 and has increased since the 2019 defeat. In fact, Labour has the most members of any party in the whole of Europe. However, the figures for seats give a truer picture:
202 MPs out of 650, less than a third (all-UK);
179 MPs out of 533 (English seats);
176 out of 785 members of the House of Lords;
and so on. Wales is going the same way: 22 Westminster seats still, out of 40, but at one time, and not long ago, almost all Welsh seats were Labour.
Membership numbers matter, up to a point, but are not the only factor of importance. In any case, 600,000 Labour Party members out of maybe 50 to 60 million persons eligible to vote is as little as 1 Labour Party member for every 90 or 100 potential voters.
In the scam binary Con-Lab electoral system that now exists, the Labour Party will attract votes from those opposed to the Conservative Party first and foremost, but as the polls show, that may be at or below 25% of voters.
Starmer and his pro-Israel creatures may recover some votes which Corbyn lost (and Starmer will have a fair wind from the infested pro-Zionist msm), but it may be that Starmer will also lose votes, the votes of the “socialist” voters (and also the anti-Jewish lobby voters).
My present view is that Labour is likely to stay where it is in the polls for some time. If a credible social-national party emerges, it might even go lower, as it has since 2015 in Scotland (despite the SNP being only faux-“nationalist”).
Look [below] at the idiot supporters (and MPs) Labour now has!
Solidarity with @HackneyAbbott. You paved the way for women of colour in politics, you handled yourself with courage and poise, and you’ve been a beacon for the left.
I think many in Cabinet already realise this @funnygir5 . But having thoroughly terrified an astonishingly credulous public with claims that half a million will die unless we wreck the economy, they have created a monster they cannot control. Slow backtrack is coming. https://t.co/RAQdBFsFlk
“Credulous public” indeed. After all, if they can be persuaded that Germany killed six million Jews in “gas chambers” (of which latter there is no credible proof at all) and elsehow, in about 3 years or so (mainly 1941-44), then people can be persuaded of anything, I suppose. Not that the whole public does believe the fakery around the so-called “holocaust”, but many do. Some even still believe the WW2 propaganda (which originated in similar WW1 stories) that Jews were melted down to create soap, or their skins tanned to make lampshades or armchairs…I suppose that if you can believe that sort of thing, then the Coronavirus “millions will die” nonsense will not be so hard to swallow.
Thank you @d_mos77. Those worrying sounds you hear in the dead of night, and which keep you awake, are the sigh of a dying economy, and the last gasp of personal freedom. https://t.co/EqxA4EqgOu
This must be typical of so many business built on sweat, savings and risk, now gurgling down the plumbing, thanks to government policy. And for what? there is no evidence these measures have saved a single life. https://t.co/J9x4rsR0ye
Now multiply that economic and social damage by about 5 million…
No wonder that the nodded-through Coronavirus Act 2020 provides for 2+ years of police-state powers…
I think, given the vast economic and social damage done by these shutdowns, one needs evidence that they work. There isn't any. You just presume there is because you have credulously accepted a consensus. https://t.co/O9xXEfxw1m
@mrvik599 You are presuming a connection between the number of deaths and the application or non-application of a shutdown. There is none. Unshut Japan's death rate (now I think less than 150 in a population of 127 million) is far less than that of countries which have shutdowns. https://t.co/jcQlR7Y9Rn
Japan: a country famous for its cleanliness. Admittedly, I have never been there and the very few Japanese I have met have been such as the young Japanese woman (a trainee diplomat) I once met at a special dinner in Cambridge, and she was squeakily clean (and incredibly charming), but I have no idea how typical she was. I should guess quite (typical), in that Japan is a country where they wash or shower before getting into the bath!
Now, I have noted before in my blog articles of the past days and weeks that the European countries exposed in a study of 2015 as the least clean in terms of washing hands after using the bathroom (Italy, Spain, France and the Netherlands) are also the ones which have been hardest-hit by Coronavirus.
The cleaner countries in terms of washing hands seem to be those where Coronavirus has not run out of control.
That sounds almost too simple, but one of the few facts about Coronavirus that we know beyond dispute is that the best way to fight it as a society is by frequent and thorough washing of hands, preferably using soap and water.
As I wrote a while ago, it really could be as simple as that. Other factors have secondary effect, of course. There is obviously less chance of getting infected if you live on an island without other inhabitants, but most of us cannot do that, and such conditions are hard to replicate in crowded UK urban areas.
Reminiscent of The Day of the Triffids, where the scientists cannot find a way to fight the Triffids, but at the end discover that simple seawater kills them. Sometimes the simple and/or final solution is right in front of us.
(sorry about the spoiler, but most British people have seen the film anyway, sometime in the past 58 years).
Odd indeed…
This is interesting. What does it actually mean?https://t.co/4B8t6xjRvt How full is the new Nightingale Hospital in London now?
Does that mean that patients who cannot take care of themselves are just being dumped “in the community”? Or that huge numbers of surgical operations are being postponed or cancelled?
More tweets
I'm aware @davidjo18187087 of the incessant, disapproving conformist coverage of Sweden, treating it as a crazy pariah. I'd like to see a report from a non-UK reporter, wondering if *we* were right to smash up our economy and sacrifice our personal liberty for no known reason. https://t.co/QsNzksV5w9
The daughter of Prince Andrew (the flunkey of “offed” Jew parasite, Israeli Intelligence source and paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein), is trending on Twitter because…well… look at a few tweets:
Princess Beatrice declaring she'll put on a lavish wedding after the pandemic is over in an attempts to raise spirits, just shows how woefully out of touch a vast majority* of the Royal family are. Get to fuck with your flaunting, while we struggle to find bog roll and pay bills.
It will not lift my spirits at all if Princess Beatrice has a bigger wedding next year. In fact it will piss me off something rotten. Go away, have a private wedding which you pay for yourselves and stop deluding yourself you are relevant to me or the British public in general
Well, that’s enough, I think. What I find alarming is that this thick ugly parasite is 9th in succession to the throne! Can you imagine what would happen if, by “a series of unfortunate events”, those ahead of her in line failed to make it to the finishing post? It does not bear thinking about…
Shopping foray
Despite thinking that the “lockdown” is largely nonsensical (and likely to result in far more deaths and miseries in the end than Coronavirus itself), I had not been out for 4 days when I went shopping for food and drink, mainly, today. Arriving at Waitrose an hour before early close (by reason of the religious holiday, Easter Monday), I found few cars in the car park. The black-clad Handmaid’s Tale-style Waitrose marshals were still around the entrance. I only had to wait a minute before being waved inside.
Shortages? Only bleach (every single brand, type and container gone) and dried pasta. Oh, and one of my regular purchases, kefir. At least all the plain/unsweetened flavour type was gone, leaving only Morello cherry (which I quite like) and various even sweeter fruit and other flavours (which I rarely buy).
Everything else, the other panic-buy and bulk-buy stuff (loo paper, water, bread, tinned fish, chicken, eggs) was there in quantity. Waitrose have really stepped up and met the challenge of stampeded consumers with several freezers and fridges and no shortage of funds.
As I predicted a while ago, the initial week or two of complete panic-buying has gone, but I do detect an undercurrent of “prudent bulk-buying”, people maybe buying a pack (or three, the maximum allowed now) of pasta (or whatever) every time they go in, which might well be every day or two. Why? I think, at a guess, that people are uncertain, do not know what might happen in 3, 6, 12 months, and want at least to know that they have months of pasta, if nothing else, in stock. Maybe they are not so wrong, in fact.
I overheard a conversation about selfish people holding large parties in someplace or other (maybe up North) and the speaker was angry because he had a relative in a bad way in hospital with, I presumed, Coronavirus. I am with him as far as such large excited gatherings are concerned (I don’t like or approve of them anyway), but to jump from that to the absurd “lockdown” we suffer under is not logical. That though is the point: the pathetic mantra of the government and its employees, “Stay at home, Protect the NHS, Save lives”, while in fact borderline meaningless, works as propaganda because it taps into emotion, not thought, primarily.
On the drive home, I noticed a white car with lights on behind me, some distance back. In fact, as if hanging back. My instinct said “police”, so I made sure that I was just within the speed limit. Sure enough, as it slowly gained on me, I could see that it was a marked police car (which had not been obvious at a distance). I thought that the lone driver might pull me over because of these absurd and inconvenient “lockdown” measures. No other car was on the highway (a rural A-road). I decided to turn off and see if he followed. In fact he did not follow and just drove on.
Just as well. I hate having boring conversations with traffic cops, though to be fair to them, they have not been too difficult on the few occasions over the years when I have been stopped. Anyway, I tend to think, like the character in the Vysotsky song, 07 [long-distance telephone code in the old Soviet Union], “It is night!…for me there is no law!” (and that despite the fact that my car is taxed and insured, has MOT up to date, and I myself have a valid licence with no points— I must just be paranoid!).
Anyone who wants to read my reaction to the interference in the General Election by the Chief Rabbi (I prefer “Chief Pharisee”) can see it on my previous General Election 2019 blog (no.5). I made the point that, with (((typical))) damned cheek, the Chief Pharisee talked about “our country” and “the soul of our nation“!
What country or nation would that be? Ephraim Mirvis was born in South Africa, lived most of his life in Israel, finally moved to Ireland, and only in the 1990s washed up on British shores.
What interests me more is that virtually every newspaper has made this its front-page splash. Every radio and TV show leads with it too. I think that we can see where the influence and power (whether political, or the money-power) resides in the UK when it comes to the mass media…
Just saw this. Made me laugh, but it shows what fakery goes on in System politics (that’s right, fakery is not confined to so-called “holocaust” “survivors”! Neither is it confined to Jews, if truth be told…)
One of the most recent opinion polls, below, would seem to suggest that my assessment(s) in my General Election blogs, to the effect that Hung Parliament is as likely as a Con majority, might be right after all:
By my use of Electoral Calculus, that poll works out as suggesting Cons as largest party, but 14 MPs short of a Commons majority. So in other words, the Conservative Party would be worse off than it was before the prorogation. That would probably result in Boris-idiot being dismissed, stabbed in the back and the front by his own surviving MPs. Happy day!
If only Corbyn and Labour would just tell the Zionist Jews to shut up, instead of which Labour weasels, wrings hands, says how terrible “anti-Semitism” is (even when basically defensive in nature), and whines that Labour wants to stamp it out etc. “Stamp out” the freedom of expression of British people? Goodbye Labour…
Chief Rabbi says Corbyn not fit for office eh? Yawn. There is no such thing as antisemitism. It's a myth. The UK's Jews are nobody's victims. No minority identity group has ever had it so good. But Corbyn is the architect of his own downfall. He hasn't the balls to deal with it.
The usual lack of self-awareness from Dunce Duncan Smith. I am against graffiti of every kind, mainly for aesthetic reasons, but if this is all that happens to Dunce and his cohorts, after what he has inflicted on so many, and over so many years, I think that he should offer up a prayer of thanks to the heavens.
While we are on the subject of the unintelligent kind of “Conservative”, take a look at Twitter account @TheaDickinson. “The stupid party” to the very marrow! Example:
Someone on £80,000 is already paying £25,000 a year in tax.
Twitter account @AlexGPorter explains the reality: Labour’s tax plans mean that persons earning £81,000 p.a. or so will pay maybe £10 per month extra in income tax, but of course there are those who earn, or at least receive, pre-tax, literally millions p.a. They might well end up paying hundreds or even thousands of pounds per month extra tax (but they will still be receiving huge amounts; violins not required):
But it’s totally disingenuous to look at the “average” member of the top 5%. Every person earning above £80k won’t be taxed an extra £53,000. Those earning £81k will be taxed a very small amount more, those earning several million a year will be taxed *a lot* more.
Of the £80bn additional revenue, less than £6bn of that is coming from increased income tax. Here is a handy graphic to help … it shows where the rest of it is coming from.
Not that I agree with all of the above plan. Independent schools do not pay tax on fees and donations because most are not profit-making. They are non-profit and for purposes of education and so are treated as charitable in the legal sense. Why do I oppose taxing their fees and donations?
Firstly because education has always been treated as one of the “heads of charity” under the (16thC) Statute of Elizabeth. That merely secularized the ancient privileges of previously-religious institutions which, before Henry VIII, provided almost all education. Of course, even today many schools are run by religious bodies.
Secondly, I favour schools having tax breaks because the UK must improve its educational level generally. You cannot do that by degrading the resources available to the best schools.
Thirdly, independent schools offer numerous scholarships and bursaries, which would be far less common were schools to lose significant funding by reason of having to pay tax or extra tax.
“The polls are tightening” (as I thought that they would):
The opinion polls have narrowed, but not by much: a 14-pt Tory lead last week is 12 pts this week – Corbyn needs to move voters (or hope the polls are as wrong as last time) https://t.co/7OJzEF9OGS
The battle lines are set, barring late events. 15 clear days before Polling Day.
Update, 27 November 2019
Switching on a radio, I hear that Corbyn has had a “car crash” interview with Andrew Neil. A brief extract was played on BBC radio news. A few thoughts on that:
Andrew Neil is the best political interviewer around at present, but
Andrew Neil is almost absurdly pro-Jew, and has repeatedly ranted against those who think that the Jews have disproportionate power, influence and money in the UK. Why Neil is so seemingly philo-Semitic in that sense, I do not know. There may be several reasons.
The BBC seemed to have a biased presentation (on the radio news), in that
In the extract I heard, Neil asked about taxing those earning under £81,000 p.a., and Corbyn tried to answer to the effect that, yes, in strict terms, those earning lower amounts might pay [obviously a small amount] of extra income tax but would get more back in other ways. In relation to that quite reasonable answer,
Andrew Neil wanted to focus only on income tax and
the BBC radio news cut off Corbyn’s reasoned response after seconds.
the BBC is acting like a biased State broadcaster. It has to go.
I am enough of a “democrat”, or at least sufficiently fair, to be at least somewhat shocked (though hardly “surprised”) by the BBC bias, despite my not being “pro-Labour” as such.
My other thought about the supposedly “disastrous” interview is that most people will not have seen or heard it anyway. Of course, the msm will push it on the news.
Labour should have said from the start, “yes, a relative few earning under £81,000 will pay a little more, about £20 a month, by losing one specific tax break, but will receive far more in other ways, so will be better off”. How hard is that?
In other news, low-profile (and thick as two short planks) Labour MP Nia Griffithhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nia_Griffith has said that Labour should “apologize” yet again to the Jews for daring to mildly criticize some of them. My thoughts:
Nia Griffith should be sacked at once, both as Shadow Secretary of State and as MP;
Nia Griffith is a member of Labour Friends of Israel;
Nia Griffith was a proven expenses cheat;
Nia Griffith is a lesbian;
Nia Griffith (previously a schoolteacher) has “done very well” out of being an MP since she was elected in 2005, owning a London flat, a house in Llanelli, Wales, and also a subsidized 10-acre smallholding in Wales (Carmarthenshire) in addition to the Llanelli house.
Why was Nia Griffith ever appointed as Shadow Sec. of State for Defence? She has no military, naval or other defence background, has never shown any knowledge about the issues, in fact has been all but invisible (she was a teacher before latching on to the old MP racket).
Another pro-Israel doormat.
Her outburst about Jews was obviously planned to cause as much damage to Labour’s General Election chances as possible; it’s treachery.
Was she ordered to make this outburst? If so, by whom? Labour Friends of Israel? The Israeli Embassy? Other treacherous “Labour” MPs or persons?
Here’s a strange thing: Ian Austin, ex-Labour MP and one of the worst doormats for the Jewish and Israeli lobby in the UK, as well as one of the most shameless expenses cheats of the 2005-2010 Parliament (he was basically a fraudster) seems to believe that bestiality is not so bad that pornography involving bestiality cannot be decriminalized!
Austin is now a main figurehead for “Mainstream“, a Jewish-funded anti-Corbyn pop-up “organization”, together with another ex-MP, John Woodcock, the sex pest and depressive case (and another doormat for Israel and the Jewish lobby), who has now been appointed by Boris-idiot as a kind of Government snoop and monitor of so called “far right” people (social nationalists). Nice people…(not, obviously). Both of these blots used to block me on Twitter (in Woodcock’s case because faux-“revolutionary” and “licensed Bolshevik” “intellectual” (?) Owen Jones told him to!).
So Ian Austin thinks that bestiality-pornography, and some other types of pornography, should be decriminalized, but that “holocaust” “denial” (historical examination and revision) and anything “anti-Semitic” or critical of Jews should be criminalized?! Strange priorities. Makes one wonder about Austin, who is unmarried.
Breaking news, about a Conservative secret plan to sell off the NHS!
The above news is more confirmation of the basically alien nature of the upper ranks of the Conservative Party: multikulti cosmopolitans, rootless Zionist Jews and pro-Zionists from India, Pakistan, Uganda, New York City etc. Are any of the bastards BRITISH except in terms of their passports?
The NHS has its faults (not all money-related) but overall it is one of Britain’s best aspects, and must not be sold off to alien financial interests.
On the other hand, it may be that the NHS needs radical reform. A reader of my blog asked me today about South Korea’s health service. I knew nothing of it. I do now:
The Labour claim (and documentation) about the NHS “up for sale” to American health finance interests could be a game-changer in this election. The NHS is central to UK society. Its flaws. Its great strengths. Any suggestion that it might be sold off in bits to American finance will be greeted with horror by a huge majority of the voters, even by most Conservative Party voters.
Corbyn reveals 450 pages of uncensored US-UK trade talks over opening the NHS to private healthcare, together with reduced food standards and corporate courts (replacing ECJ with American judges). Bombshell dropped into the campaign. Will be across this as details emerge 💥💥💥
This would produce a result of Conservatives as largest party, but (blessedly) 14 short of a Commons majority. Excellent.
Update, 28 November 2019
I expect that some who read my blog imagine that I am pro-Labour Party because I am 100% anti-Conservative Party. Not so. For me, it is essential that the Boris-idiot Zionist Occupation Cabinet is defeated, but a Labour majority government would also be very bad, though perhaps not quite as bad. The best result in the General Election would be a hung Parliament, leading to a weak minority government, preferably a Corbyn-Labour one. That would be the best seedbed for real social nationalism (rather than the fake Zionist-lobby “nationalism” of UKIP, Brexit Party, the “alt-Right”, Tommy Robinson, Katie Hopkins etc).
Boris-idiot is still avoiding an interview with Andrew Neil. He is afraid:
Joking aside, can you imagine if Corbyn had ducked Andrew Neil? He’d have rightly been slaughtered for it. Boris Johnson is Prime Minister. He has an obligation to subject himself to scrutiny. If he bottles it people will wonder what he’s trying to hide.
Below, a Jewish woman takes what must surely be a commonsense view of the contrived “Corbyn is ‘anti-Semitic‘” noise put out by the Jew-Zionist “claque”:
Things I think more important than low level anti-semitism, in no particular order: the NHS; foodbanks; hungry children; people sleeping on the streets; zero hours contracts; the widening wealth gap; rising infant mortality; essential-drug shortages;
Isn’t it incredible? This storm in a teacup, meaning whipped up fakery of Labour “anti-Semitism”, has had more msm play in the past days and weeks than, eg, those dying after having peanuts benefits removed, millions trying to survive either on low benefits or low pay or both, the continuing invasion of the UK by blacks, browns and others, the NHS being slowly sold out and sold off to American (((financial))) interests, etc etc.
The difference is, if Labour wins, a few people will get a bit annoyed. If the Tories win, a lot of people will get a lot dead.
I wonder why the Zionist Jews and their self-interested whining have all the publicity? Could it be because, as Rupert Murdoch said some years ago, “they” own most of the Press in the UK? You can add to that, that (((they))) also staff most of the newspapers, TV and radio stations and so on. Any journalist not going along with what “they” want is immediately hounded and probably removed from his or her job. “They” have destroyed the independence of the UK msm, and are working on also censoring and “monitoring” social media and the Internet generally.
Freedom of socio-political (and historical) expression is one of the most important battlefields of our time. Perhaps the most important.
From where I am standing, Labour and Corbyn do not seem to be “anti-Semitic” anyway, even in a defensive way. After all, I —of all people— ought to know! (Google “Ian Millard barrister” and you will see what I mean!).
When one thinks of everything the people of England have undergone even in the past 10 years, and that applies especially to the poorer people in this society, and yet the Jews (many of them anyway) do nothing but whine, complain, denounce people (i.e. non-Jews) to police, Twitter, Facebook etc, and make demands regarding their own selfish, self-interested tribal interests.
I should not be surprised if this contrived anti-Labour Party “anti-Semitism” whining and demanding results in an awakening of many formerly asleep people in this country —an awakening for the first time— to the disproportionate power and influence wielded by Jews in the UK, especially by Zionist Jews, and above all by those embedded in the mass media and politics.
Thinking about the General Election in a wider sense, I still think, despite the Conservative lead, that there is all to play for. Yes, the misnamed “Conservatives” are ahead in all the opinion polls, but there are margins of error of as much as 3 points, for a start. I have already blogged about how, a few days ago, two recent polls had almost —but not quite— identical figures, but one had Labour 2 points higher. That alone changed the likely result from Con majority of 48 to Cons being short of a majority by 4 MPs.
If the polls put Cons on 41% and Lab on 30%, it could be that the real figures are as different as Con 38% and Lab 33%. There again, every constituency is different, and national voting intentions do not predict every seat accurately.
The Greens are on 3% nationally and have been around that level for many years, but in 2010 Caroline Lucas was elected at Brighton Pavilion on a vote of about 31%, which became 41% in 2015 and 52% in 2017. Likewise, the LibDems are and have been able to apply a Schwerpunkt (concentration of forces) in particular constituencies, so despite getting under 8% nationally in both 2015 and 2017, were able to get 8, then 12, MPs elected (and the LibDem national vote declined in 2017 vis a vis 2015…).
UKIP scored higher than both the Greens and LibDems in 2015 (12.6% nationally) but nowhere had a constituency vote share big enough to get an MP elected, excepting a previously-elected Conservative defector in one seat.
It is quite possible for Labour to win this election even if it is 5 or maybe even 10 points behind the Conservative Party nationally. The seats that matter are the marginal seats, whether defined as the 50 most marginal, or the 100.
Labour has failed to really hit back at the Jews (meaning the organized pro-Israel msm Jewish/Zionist lobby). Next time, maybe, if Labour loses badly enough this time…
Apart from that, Labour should be hitting harder on NHS, private rent parasites, buy to let parasites, low pay, poor conditions at work, low standards generally. Labour should also try to reach out to the pensioner vote, as well as getting the generally pro-Labour under-35s to actually go out to vote on 12 December.
I like this:
“General election 2019: Labour promises to plant two billion trees by 2040”
Boris Johnson's views of the Working class: "Working class men are likely to be useless, drunk, criminal, aimless, feckless & hopeless" "Cuts in Social security that leave women in destitution on a Victorian scale might act as deterrent to unmarried women having children"
Those quotations from the diseased mind of Boris-idiot are at one with the Oxford University student and Bullingdon Club member (the young Boris Johnson) who burned a £50 note while taunting a homeless man living in the street. He is evil.
I noticed a clip showing Boris-idiot’s motorcade leaving the town of Telford the other day. Four large Range Rovers or similar, with about 6 motorbike cops escorting and all normal traffic blocked off. They must be afraid that someone will do something to him.
[apologies for intruding this all but irrelevant clip from one of my favourite films]
Lewis Goodall of Sky News visits Hampshire:
In all seriousness, in various different ways, Molly speaks for so many I’ve met on my travels. Deeply dissatisfied with the choice in front of her. Unable to vote for her traditional party. Uncertain what to do next. It’s why I think this election is still so unpredictable.
Those responsible for the kind of wickedness shown in that newspaper report have never been punished. Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, the Jew “lord” Freud, David Gauke, Therese Coffey, Esther McVey, David Cameron-Levita, George Osborne etc. Many others, some at the head of affairs, others not so much, right down to the robots at the bottom.
Another reason not to vote Conservative, despite Labour’s partial guilt and the LibDems’ very considerable “enabling” guilt.
Update, 29 November 2019
A couple of tweets I saw, to start today’s update:
As I blogged previously, the LibDems are rapidly becoming an irrelevance in this election, because
though the LibDems have the unique aspect of being the sole Remain party of any importance in England (the SNP in Scotland and Plaid in Wales are also Remain, as are minor parties such as the Green Party), there is enough doubt or wriggle room in Labour for Remain voters to go with Labour;
though the Brexit mess overshadows everything, the agenda of the election has moved on: people need health services, decent pay, decent State help such as benefit payments etc; mass immigration continues; there is a housing crisis. People cannot live (and vote) by Brexit alone;
in the final analysis, there is going to be a harsh, Jewish-Zionist infiltrated Boris-idiot government (ZOG) in the UK unless Labour win enough seats to prevent a “Conservative” (ZOG) Commons majority. Only Labour has the ability to stop Boris; the LibDems do not have the means to win many seats, and if they did, they would just agree to another Con Coalition, as in 2010. They would “enable” the Boris ZOG Cabinet to trample on the British people;
Jo Swinson, it has become clear, has been elevated to a position (LibDem leader) which exceeds the level of her ability. I predicted it. She has been disastrous for the LibDems and has spent much of her time in the election campaign echoing “Conservative” cries about Labour “anti-Semitism”. A doormat for the Jewish lobby and Israel.
Assuming, as I do, that the LibDems will sink below even the 15% national polling they currently enjoy, what then? If the LibDems go down to 10% (which is certainly possible), then 5% of the national vote is going to go elsewhere, probably all or almost all to Labour. In 2017, 32 million votes were cast. That might be exceeded in 2019, but even on the 2017 figures 5% adds up to about 1.5 million votes. Per constituency, maybe 3,000 votes. Enough to upset many an applecart.
The Jews seem to want the UK 2019 General Election to be all about them. Others might say “be careful what you wish for”…
“So spake Israel’s true king, and to the Fiend Made answer meet, that made void all his wiles. So fares it, when with truth falsehood contends.” [Milton, Paradise Regained]
I was pleased to see this latest poll, for two reasons:
it confirms that I was right to say that the earlier polls predicting a huge Boris-idiot/Conservative Commons majority would narrow approaching 12 December (admittedly trite, as such narrowing is commonly the case; and
those percentages suggest that the misnamed “Conservative” Party (aka and more accurately, the Con Party), would be left 11 MPs short of a Commons majority. Excellent. Boris-idiot will then be (politically) assassinated by his own MPs. The Ides of December…
[I should add that the polling company see their poll as suggesting a Con majority of 1].
NHS
Having been a serial hospital visitor (not patient) for the past decade, I agree with the tweets below:
NHS maladministration goes right to the top, and right down to the “trivial” (which is not so trivial when people suffer as a result) such as being unable to park a car at a hospital or only being able to park at considerable expense. It’s just wrong. Another example: Imagine hospitals so badly managed that patients and their families cannot easily find wheelchairs! (used to get immobile or semi-mobile patients around inside hospital buildings). You don’t have to imagine it. Just visit many NHS hospitals.
The same applies to basic cleanliness in hospitals.
The maladministration within the NHS dishonours the often excellent (not always but more often than not) work put in by the clinical staff.
Behind a paywall, but it is clear from the bit I read that LibDem expectations have collapsed and that there is the prospect, not even of the LibDems ending the election campaign with fewer than the 12 MPs the 2017 General Election brought them, not even the below-10 predicted by me a while ago, but possibly of them being reduced to one or two MPs in total. However:
“The election guru John Curtice said national polling might not be the only factor: “We might discover that the Lib Dem vote becomes somewhat more geographically concentrated than it was in 2017, and therefore their ability to convert votes into seats is rather better than you might expect.” [The Guardian]
The all-important Schwerpunkt again. I myself still think that the LibDems are going to end this election in the 5-10 MPs range. The LibDems’ wider, more national appeal is looking very weak. The old Liberal Party had a distinctive, if “Marmite”, appeal. The LibDems carried that on, but it started to lose that after 2010. The LibDems’ biggest problem is irrelevance and their biggest presentational problem is the lack of a distinctive image.
The “British” Press…
John Rentoul, one of the best-informed commentators, yet sees no problem with the Press being in such few hands. He denigrates Corbyn for identifying it as an issue:
The joke “Prime Minister” states that his answer is to make terrorist prisoners serve their full sentences rather than be released early…which would mean in this case that the individual would have had to wait another 2 years or so before launching his knife attack. Such a policy would just delay, not prevent. Boris is an idiot.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Arcuri, one of Johnson’s discarded “hoes”, and to whom Boris-idiot bunged £126,000 of British public money, has given an unintentionally funny interview:
“Jennifer Arcuri claims Boris Johnson was angry when he became foreign secretary because he could no longer visit her home
In a frank interview, the model-turned-entrepreneur says their relationship continued after he stepped down as mayor of London and became a cabinet minister – and that they were in touch as recently as July.
Ms Arcuri also comes closer than before to confirming a sexual relationship, saying it is always the woman who is criticised “when you have an affair with an older man”.
Referring to Mr Johnson’s promotion, in July 2016, she said: “He was pissed [off] when he became foreign secretary.
During their first encounter alone, in a hotel bar, he asked her: “Were you a model? You are absolutely beautiful. I can see you being a model and actress.”
She said: “He had complimented me but it was not sleazy in any way,” adding: “I knew where he was going with wanting to pursue me. I am not stupid.
“People had mentioned he wants to sleep with you and I said, ‘No, he doesn’t. He is just so enthralled with my mind.’
[addendum: Arcuri’s former husband says that, while “Jennifer” —not her real name, apparently— had been a pole dancer, she had never been a working model; the “entrepreneur” or “entrepreneuse” is now being sued for about £70,000 in respect of non-repayment of student loan debt…]
The Conservative Party is losing any semblance of decent behaviour now:
We’re aware of Conservative Party Facebook adverts using edited BBC content. This is a completely unacceptable use of BBC content which distorts our output and which could damage perceptions of our impartiality. We are asking the Conservatives to remove these adverts.
The Ides of December have neither come nor gone. We are (as of tomorrow) in only the Kalends of December, and there remain 11 full days before Polling Day.
Voters in Ashford should remember that Conservative Party candidate Damian Green accesses, or at least accessed until he was caught, horrible porn, including bestiality:
— Tofu-eating Wokerati 🕎🌹#BLM #PeaceAndJustice (@candybrazao) September 10, 2019
Latest poll shows gap Con/Lab narrowing even more:
“The Conservative lead in the general election campaign has been more than halved in just one week, putting the UK in “hung parliament territory”, an exclusive poll for The Independent shows.
Boris Johnson’s party is now only six points ahead of Labour, it has found – matching other surveys suggesting the race is tightening dramatically, amid growing Tory nervousness.
Jeremy Corbyn is successfully winning back the support of voters threatening to defect to other parties, the poll by BMG Research shows, taking his party’s rating up five points to 33 per cent.
The Conservatives, meanwhile, have dipped two points to 39 per cent, six points ahead instead of the 13 points in BMG’s survey a week ago.” [The Independent]
This is the danger which the msm drones are largely ignoring:
Agree. Terrifying. The UK on the edge of an abyss. The responsible, moderate and kind have been purged from the Tory party. What’s left are the careerists, the fanatics and the dimbos. And they could win. https://t.co/J5mkXHRjXa

Update, 1 December 2019
Boris-idiot was too afraid to be properly interrogated by Andrew Neil, and the BBC was not going to allow the buffoon onto the softer couch of the Andrew Marr Showuntil he did agree to be interviewed by Neil.
Now, however, the craven BBC has caved, so Johnson will be on Marr shortly. The BBC has become, like the EU, unworkable. It has become, over the past 10 years, almost a government mouthpiece. There always were elements of that, starting (arguably) in WW2, but the BBC is now, to use the current phrase, “not fit for purpose”.
Marr show: all three newspaper reviewers women. Co-incidence or policy?
Issues covered in newspaper review: mainly General Election. Is Labour in trouble in its traditional Northern heartlands? According to Helen Pidd, Northern Editor of the Guardian, affirmative. For many voters, the question will be whether they break the local or regional taboo against voting Con, or simply abstain. My guess is abstain, but obviously that is a guess, albeit an educated one. If “abstain” is right, then it will affect only the most marginal seats.
The terror attack. Cons trying to use it politically, but after all there have been Con governments, in effect, in government for nearly 10 years now.
Another issue is rail and especially that of rail fares. Shareholders have just received over a billion pounds in dividends! Now fares are to rise again! This must help Labour, which wants to renationalize most rail.
Chuka Umunna on Marr. Ex-Labour (and ex-Change UK) MP Chukup, now a LibDem, saying that the LibDems were first or second in 134 seats in 2017, if I heard aright. He urges voters to vote LibDem tactically in seats where Labour has no real chance but LibDems do, in order to prevent the Cons from winning and getting a majority. That would be a good argument, had the LibDems any real integrity. Sadly, not. People remember the craven LibDem ministers and MPs in the 2010-2015 Con Coalition. The LibDems would prop up the Conservatives anyway.
Now Labour “baroness” Shami Chakrabarti comes onto Marr. Makes a few sensible points on terrorism, cuts to police and probation etc. She sometimes seems so far up her own **** that she might suddenly go into orbit or, perhaps, turn to stone and become a statue of herself. Her actual points are better than her initial presentation of herself.
My feeling is that Labour would do better not to engage too much with the terror issue. The Conservatives would love to link Corbyn with terrorism. After all, the recent attack was the act of one semi-lunatic, albeit politicized. It was not “terrorism” in the political sense, as was, say, the IRA bombing campaign of 1970-1999.
Boris-idiot now on Marr. Trying to say that Labour’s parole law of 2008 somehow caused the London Bridge attack of last week. Cons retained the “release at half-way” law. Boris tries to say “Not me, guv! I dindu nuttin” (tries to blame May and Cameron, too!).
Of course, even had the attacker been released 2 years or 3 years later, he still would have attacked. Boris is an idiot and his “idea” about amending the parole aspect would simply delay, not prevent.
Boris-idiot floundering under Marr’s not difficult questions. It must have stung Andrew Marr that he is thought less heavyweight than Andrew Neil. He is being a little more assertive than usual.
Boris-idiot is now blustering and talking nonsense (as usual). His metier is as a part-Jew public entertainer. I suppose that being a newspaper columnist, scribbling fact-free rubbish, is also his metier. Same thing, really. Or he could travel around the UK by train, meeting odd or unusual people etc, in the manner of a latter-day Michael Portillo.
Boris-idiot calls the Pakistani terrorist “this gentleman”! Ha ha! Corrects himself and next time calls him “that individual”. Come to think of it, Boris-idiot was not asked (and did not raise) the question of why this Pakistani terrorist, his family, his community, are even in the UK!
Marr’s interview with Boris-idiot is becoming a rout, unexpectedly. Boris-dork is gabbling, trying to soundbite every superficially-popular Con policy in the few minutes left, but Marr making the point that a plan for hospitals is not “36 new hospitals”. Marr also noted that the Conservatives have closed 300 magistrates’ and Crown courts over the past years. The County Courts were not mentioned. I myself used to appear as Counsel not only in the High Court and in the larger county courts, but also (2002-2008) at the small County Courts in, inter alia, Barnstaple, Penzance etc, now closed.
Marr also noted that the Conservatives have closed 500 public libraries.
Marr asks Boris-idiot about EU regulations which will affect Northern Ireland after Boris’s “BRINO” (Brexit In Name Only). Boris showing both ignorance and rudeness as his lying is prodded.
Marr asks Boris-idiot about his spending plans and how they might well be pie in the sky. He then prods Boris about Islamophobia and his own statements in the past.
Marr asks Boris why he has been avoiding Andrew Neil. Idiot refuses to say that he will be interviewed by Andrew Neil. Fact is, he’s scared…
Marr finishes by thanking “…you, Prime Minister”…
What a “car crash” for Boris-idiot! No wonder that he is running scared of Andrew Neil!
Is Boris-idiot really so stupid that he thinks that he can just lift a thread of 16 tweets from a well-known Twitter account, and somehow no-one will notice?! He may be misplaced as “Prime Minister”, but fact he is in that role. He is also in the midst of a bitter election campaign. People will notice; they have noticed.
Boris Johnson has posted a thread. The entire content has been lifted, without attribution from The Secret Barrister, @BarristerSecret. Pretending to sound well informed, stealing the work of others, passing it off as his own. @BorisJohnson, you're a plagiarist. https://t.co/n0gJdSPGNE
Well, after all, Boris-idiot was sacked for dishonesty at least four times...as trainee journalist, as journalist, as junior minister, and the only reason he avoided it when failing to do his job properly as Foreign Secretary was because Mrs May was weak and allowed him to hang on and then resign.
“Secret Barrister”, yesterday:
🛑Usman Khan was released under a sentencing regime which no longer exists
🛑Johnson’s manifesto says not a single word about current Extended Sentences.
🛑The minor changes he has proposed to automatic release would not have applied to Khan.
I think that, for Boris Johnson, the General Election is coming two or three weeks too late. People are waking up on a larger scale now to Boris-idiot’s muddled stupidity, nastiness, dishonesty, incompetence, but most importantly lack of any real idea of how to get Britain from where it is to where it should be and still could be.
Even a week ago, the opinion polls, for what they are worth, were all showing the Conservative Party riding high and likely to get a stonking majority. Now, they begin to show a possible hung Parliament. The election is still very open, in reality, though I doubt that Labour could get a majority in any event.
It had to happen: at last Nicola Sturgeon has expressed a view akin to my own:
How anyone watching this interview can conclude that Johnson has the seriousness, dignity, judgment or sensitivity to be Prime Minister is beyond me. #Marr
10 clear days until Polling Day. There is all to play for as far as the Conservatives and Labour are concerned. For Brexit Party, it’s already all over.
LibDems? Pretty much all over, though tactical voting may help them up to a point. No-one (very few anyway) will vote for Jo Swinson or LibDem policies generally. Even Remain partisans have mostly defected to Lab or even Con (on the basis that Boris-idiot’s “deal” is BRINO and not a full Brexit).
I have to say that, if Jo Swinson loses her own seat, I shall be laughing. Jo Swinson has proven herself not only a bad joke as LibDem leader (I don’t care at all about that, of course) but also a complete doormat for the Jewish lobby. Out with her! Raus!
Looking at the figures for East Dumbartonshire elections, what strikes me most forcibly is the decline of Labour, from nearly 56% in 1964 to just over 12% in 2015 (14.6% in 2017):
In honour of Dumbartonshire, an area which I have never visited:
(in fact the work by Stravinsky is not connected to the original Dumbarton in Scotland, but to the famous estate, in the Georgetown area of Washington D.C., where the world-historic Dumbarton Oaks conference was held in 1944)
Those who read my blog regularly will know that I am far from being an unalloyed fan of Jeremy Corbyn. I think him wooden and not a genuine political thinker, someone who is stuck somewhere between the crypto-Communism of the Michael Foot era and the ideological madness of the contemporary self-described “Left” (I myself never use terms such as “Right”, “Left” as useful descriptors), the crazies who have rushed in to fill the vacuum left by the collapse of old-style socialism in and after 1989.
You get the idea.
Corbyn is, in short, a bit of a joke. I have blogged about him, and what I call Corbyn-Labour, in the recent past. He and his party are also in favour of, or not opposed to, mass immigration and the “multikulti” society.
I have little time for Corbyn as a political leader, as such. His poor intellectual level and Lego-brick level of understanding of society and international politics and geopolitics give little confidence.
On the other hand, there is or was something not entirely unpleasantly familiar about Corbyn. As I have blogged and (before I was expelled from Twitter) tweeted about him, he is a recognizable 20th century English type: the bearded “socialist” from the provinces (in Corbyn’s case, transplanted aged about 22 to London), wearing his Lenin cap, reading the Morning Star, Tribune and the Guardian, protesting against 1980s South African apartheid or Israeli West Bank settlements etc, supporting Castro-Cuba, “revolutionary” 1980s Nicaragua, “socialist” Venezuela etc.
Corbyn’s type, with variations, could be observed from around the time of the First World War, and up to the present day, in its “natural surroundings”: the Durham Miners’ Gala, the Tolpuddle Martyrs annual event, the conferences of the Labour Party and TUC, local constituency Labour parties, CND marches, steam rallies, heritage railways, allotments. So much of a “type” is Corbyn that he could easily be imagined included in a series of “English types” in the Edwardian cartoon tradition, complete with outsize head and a little descriptive caption.
Corbyn’s elevation to the Labour leadership was, as I have also blogged, little short of miraculous. Since 2015, Corbyn has also managed to fight off repeated Jew-Zionist attempts to unseat him. What do “they” want? They want Corbyn gone so that Jew-Zionists, lobbyists and placemen can once again control Labour. “They” already control the misnamed “Conservative” Party and have done since at least the end of the Thatcher era; until Corbyn’s accession, “they” controlled Labour too. They want that control back.
We have seen recently how some of Corbyn’s enemies in the Commons started to capitulate and leave the Parliamentary Labour Party, committing political hara-kiri
At the same time, however, Corbyn-Labour has made the mistake of trying to conciliate, making concessions to the Jew-Zionist element. It did that before, when it surrendered to “them” over the so-called “international” “definition” of “antisemitism” (in fact, adopted by fewer than 40 states out of about 200). Now Corbyn-Labour has given in on Chris Williamson MP and has suspended him.
Chris Williamson MP occasionally (maybe two or three times only) retweeted my tweets when I still had a Twitter account. However, when the Jew-Zionists noticed that fact, they criticized him for it, after which he stopped retweeting me and may have (I forget) blocked my account. Weak. It showed weakness in relation to the Jews. I have not forgotten that.
Now Corbyn, John McDonnell and some of their closest allies (as well as swathes of “useful idiots”) in Labour labour under the same cognitive dissonance problem: Corbyn and many of his supporters see what the Jewish-Zionist lobby is trying to do, want to fight against it, but at the same time tie their own hands behind their collective back by saying that they oppose “antisemitism” and are only against Israeli depredations and behaviour rather than being in any way hostile to Jew-Zionist lobby activity in the UK (or France etc).
Corbyn and most of Labour also go along with the largely-debunked “holocaust” narrative as well. It all just plays into the hands of the Zionist lobby, which controls or near-controls many Labour MPs. Yes, some have left (Luciana Berger, Joan Ryan, Angela Smith, Ian Austin, Chuka Fathead) and their political careers are finished. However, there are many like them still in place and reporting back: Stella Creasy is just one example. Mary Creagh, Rachel Reeves and Liz Kendall also come to mind, inter alia, as do the outright Jewish Zionists such as Margaret Hodge.
Since Chris Williamson was suspended, the whole Jewish “claque” on Twitter and in the Press (in fact, in the msm generally) has gone mad again about Corbyn, “anti-Semitism” in Labour etc. It’s odd: we are told constantly that there is no “Jewish lobby”, and that individual Jews tweet or scribble purely as individuals, yet when something like this crops up, they all go the same way instantly, like a shoal of fish.
Corbyn-Labour, for all its flaws, is the only game in town right now for striking against the enemies of our British and European future. It can pave the way for social-nationalism down the road.
This is a crisis for Corbyn and his allies. They must either fight back against the encroaching, whining, pleading, manipulating and angrily-demanding Zionist lobby, or be “cribbed, cabined and confined”, imprisoned in a Zionist-constructed box made out of “antisemitism” allegations, “holocaust” fakery and a raft of trickster-drafted “definitions”, “regulations” and inhibition of free speech. Just say no!
Here we see the Jewish anti-Corbyn “claque-storm” in its “tweetstorm” mode, exemplified by this tweet, in which a Jewish woman wants the Labour Party to either disenfranchise its Sheffield Hallam branch (by putting it into “special measures”, i.e. ruling it from London), or to remove (or remove the rights of) the 40 members who voted for a statement (only 1 person voted against). You see the problem: the 40 English people count for less than the one Jewish or pro-Jewish one…If Labour did that across the country, it would be left without active members, the footsoldiers that win elections.
A good typical example of how, if you give “them” an inch, (((they))) take a mile: the Jew-Zionist lobby gets what it wants re. Chris Williamson, but then whines or blusters about how it is too little too late. Their next demand will soon be uttered…
Fiona Sharpe, spokesman for @LabourAgainstAS, said: ‘The decision of Labour's NEC ruling body not to allow Chris Williamson to stand as the Labour candidate for Derby North is too late in coming and totally inadequate. 3/6
When I wrote the above article, I thought that 30 or 35 states had “adopted” the “IHRA” definition of “antisemitism”. In fact, and as I now know, the true figure is only about 15, out of 200 states.
Their chosen identity is the bland “The Independent Group”. Note, “group”, not party. When the SDP was formed in 1981, it quickly adopted a firm identity which everyone in the UK understood. It was a political party, with a firm policy position.
These Jewish and pro-Jewish-Zionist whiners are not a party, even on the face of their own now-public identity. They are just a group of Jewish and/or pro-Zionist MPs, all facing retirement or deselection, and whose main gripe is “anti-Semitism” in the Corbyn-led Labour Party. None of them, at their launch yesterday, actually tried to put forward any thoughts about what is wrong in Britain, let alone what might improve the country. The Jew Zionist Mike Gapes MP was the most honest, talking purely about his hatred for so-called “Anti-Semitism”. As noted, his tribal interest was at least not concealed by some faked concern about the British people.
The mass media are agog at the thought of what might happen in some game of fantasy politics where numbers of disaffected MPs from the traditional “three main parties” all coalesce in a House of Commons bloc to thwart the plans of Corbyn and (if she has any plans) Theresa May. For example, see here below (the tweeter is that little Indian who sometimes presents Channel 4 News):
The Independent Group of seven former Labour MPs could grow – with more Labour, even a couple of Tory and potentially all the Lib Dems – and then become a new party. It would then have to decide who it would and wouldn't go into coalition with.
Corbyn Labour supporters, however, were swift to seize on the group’s weak points:
So 3 hours after Independent Group launch:
No policies. Website crashed. Exposed their registered as a Ltd Co to avoid donor scrutiny. Website registered in Panama tax haven. Received backing from the Far-Right.#ChangePolitics bantz
Just realised Angela Smith is the MP who wrote an article in the Guardian about why water companies shouldn't be nationalised, without disclosing her husband's interests in private water companies! 🤔#LabourSplit#FunnyTinge#independentgroup
Luciana Berger. Rented a flat in London which is owned by a company based in the British Virgin Islands, but didn’t want anyone to know. That’s not Labour. #BlairRichProject
Yesterday's #independentgroup Ltd. launch has changed nothing in the lives of those suffering from the Tories universal credit, austerity, rigged system, or hostile environment.
TIG Ltd are nothing but wreckers. Lets hope they prove to be as incompetent as their record so far.
The above tweets are a selection of the more polite ones criticizing the new not-a-party.
Meanwhile, Chuka Umunna has now broached the “elephant in the room” question, saying that he “hopes” that a new party could be formed “by the end of the year”. Hopes? Could? Imagine Adolf, back in 1919, “hoping” that a new party “could” or might be formed “by the end of the year”! That’s Chuka for you, as seen in the Labour leadership contest: a half-Nigerian fathead, irresolute, shallow, lacking will and force.
Questions about the initial funding of the “Independent Group” of 7 Jewish and/or Zionist MPs are building now. A Labour MP has suggested that the funding may have come (directly or indirectly) from Israel:
It is interesting that the company which owns this “Independent Group” is based in the secretive offshore jurisdiction of Panama, long a favourite of rich Jews connected with Israel and/or MOSSAD. “Robert Maxwell” for one.
My thoughts so far
As ever, the msm Westminster Bubblers are getting it wrong. Polls have been produced to show that the public would be “more likely to vote for” the Independent Group MPs than Labour. Really? What would those poor sheep be voting for? There is no point in asking the “Independent Group”, for their own website is as innocent of policy (even in the broadest of broad brush terms) as were the brief statements made by the seven defectors at yesterday’s launch (media event). Their published statement of intent could have been produced by almost any political party, tendency, or even religion.
My own view is that, yes, most UK voters, certainly most English and Welsh voters are thoroughly sick of pseudo-democratic politics in the UK, they do want a new direction and would be willing to embrace a new party, but that party is not this party.
In fact, of course, the Independent Group is not (yet) a party anyway. It is not (yet) registered as such with the Electoral Commission, does not say that it is going to become a political party, and, as noted already, not only has no policy, but has not even any locus standi in the sense of where it stands, beyond a vague and implied “Centrism”.
If further Labour defections happen (rumours abound about 20-30 MPs, with a few wild msm assertions that 100 might go) then the new party (if it becomes a party) might have traction in the short term. I still doubt that any “centrist” party could get anywhere in the medium term (i.e. beyond 2022), let alone have any greater durability.
What strikes me but does not shock me is the sheer ineptitude of the defectors: they had three years in which to get this together, to recruit more cohorts, to organize things. Needless to say, I am not surprised to see that fathead Chuka was unable to organize anything more than an evening in one of the expensive and decadent nightclubs which he is said to patronize.
What a difference it would have made, had yesterday’s launch announced that a new party had been founded or was about to be registered, and if the Independent Group had actually managed to organize a decent website (to digress: my own website, http://ianrmillard.com/, is amateur, yes, because I did it myself as best I could, and spent almost nothing on it; one expects something more professional from a group of individuals with plenty of money, wealthy Jewish backers, and who are hoping to soon form a major party). Above all, it would have made a huge difference had the defectors been able to say yesterday: “We are 100 [or even 30] Labour MPs who have now left Labour, are forming a new party, and invite applications for membership and candidature.” The new party would then have been in a position to recruit members and candidates for office.
Any new party [even if] based on the “7 defectors”, and which fields hundreds of candidates in a general election, would have to be taken seriously, though the experience of both the 1980s SDP and, more recently, UKIP shows that even a party capable of fielding hundreds of candidates might well end up with no MPs under the FPTP system.
As it is, we have 7 MPs who seem to be wanting mainly to make Jewish-Zionist propaganda against Corbyn-Labour, and who now have no party, no obvious policy, and no way yet of building a party organization in a situation where there might be a general election this year. Such an election would wipe out the defector cabal at once. No question.
It is interesting to note that even long-time anti-Corbyn plotters such as pro-Zionists Liz Kendall MP and John Woodcock MP, the sex-pest depressive, have not pledged allegiance so far. In Woodcock’s case, he might have been warned off as just too toxic, but Liz Kendall must have other reasons, maybe the wish not to risk that easy lucrative job as MP, with the £75,000 salary, the huge expenses, the opportunities for “nice little earners” on the side etc. Not to mention, down the line, the possibility of getting a nice little fake “peerage”, and so £300+ per day taxfree for merely turning up and signing a register!
I should imagine that there was jubilation at Corbyn HQ yesterday. They may even have popped open a few bottles of vintage Soviet “champagne”. The hard core of opposition to Corbyn has just committed hara-kiri.
Interesting: the “Independent Group” launched yesterday, 18 February 2019. Today, as I have been writing and looking at Twitter, I noticed that, as I thought and wrote, there were 38 tweets under hashtag #IndependentGroup in a period of one hour. Over an hour later, another 35. Twitter is not the world, or even the UK, but the low interest shown tells me much. The “Independent Group” now has over 80,000 followers on Twitter, but Twitter followers are not members, donors or even necessarily going to vote for the new party (if it ever emerges).
My guess is that this new non-party is going to fail. If there is no general election this year and if the Independent Group can recruit at least another couple of dozen MPs and a small army of candidates and foot-soldiers, then it might just about have a run in it. I doubt even that, though.
An earlier Survation poll seemed to indicate that people would prefer to vote for the “Independent Group” as compared to Labour, but a Sky poll now puts “support” for the IG at only 10%. Admittedly, not bad for a party which is not yet a party and which has no policies! All the same, in itself, that only puts IG firmly in “UKIP” territory, i.e. “good also-ran”…UKIP still had no MPs after its 2015 General Election peak of about 12%.
It will be noted that the percentages add up to 87%, meaning, I suppose that 13% are “Don’t Know”. It seems, and assuming (I am skeptical) that IG can organize itself as a party before the next general election, that there will be a crowded field: Con and Lab jostling for position with IG, LibDems, UKIP and Greens, as well as smaller parties and the usual independents. IG will have to have at least some broad policies before it tries to contest elections, though. Oh…and a leader…
Update, 19 February 2019
Joan Ryan MP has now also joined the “Independent Group”. Though not Jewish (nor even part- or crypto-), she is or until today was a member, like the other members of IG, of Labour Friends of Israel, chairing the Zionist organization in 2015.
Thousands of tweets attacking Joan Ryan this evening. One that caught my eye:
Good job, will you be claiming any more expenses, or paying back those you claimed incorrectly? You are great, I have to take my own rubbish out, but luckily for @UKLabour the rubbish is taking itself out! Marvellous. #JC4PM@ToryFibs
That one really made me “laugh out loud” in the now-superseded Twitter/text phrase!
In fact, Enfield North is a Lab-Con marginal seat, so if Joan Ryan contests it (as an IG candidate rather than as simply “Independent”) at a general election, there is every chance that a Conservative will win the seat. In the recent past, Nick de Bois, who was one of the better MPs on the Conservative side, held the seat (2010-2015)
And why would you believe one word that Joan Ryan says? Given she’s a proven expenses fraud, voted to keep MPs expenses secret, and was filmed being offered £1 million by Shia Masot, the same Israeli official who conspired to ‘take down’ Sir Alan Duncan!
The fact that the absurd, leaderless, policy-free “Independent Group” is now already running at 14% in the opinion polls tells me that the British people are getting desperate for change, perhaps any change. Social nationalism is now in with a real chance.

Another tweet from today, attacking fathead Chuka and his combination of hypocrisy and stupidity (Chuka’s tweet is from two and a half years ago, when he was still being puffed by the msm as a “senior” Labour MP…):
It is absolutely infuriating the MSM fails to mention the vital fact that Ian Austin is a serial fraudster. Should have been forced out of the Party long ago. https://t.co/A6dtrPZghH
Seems now that Ian Austin MP is in fact not joining the “Independent Group”, though he is leaving Labour with immediate effect. He is not stepping down as MP for Dudley North and is not expected to repay any of his inflated expenses.
As to Austin leaving Labour, it means that he has probably committed political suicide, like most of the defectors from Con and Lab in the past week.
More Twitter comment…
Would anyone care to guess how long my BTL comment on the Guardian website Politics Live stream will last? pic.twitter.com/uzqx88QJoJ
In other blog posts, I have criticized Aaron Bastani, Ash Sarkar etc, but Bastani is surely right in tweeting that “The space for a successful far-right party in the UK is massive.” The label “far-right” I disparage, of course, but in essence I agree with him. The difference is that he opposes it, I support it!
The space for a successful far-right party in the UK is massive. We are fortunate that both the BNP & UKIP failed to fill it.
The fact that much of the establishment still thinks a 'centrist' politics is even remotely possible shows they either don't know this or don't care >
Here is a good example of a Westminster bubbler unable (perhaps) to distinguish between people noticing a news item and the same people supporting a political group, or the same people actually voting for a new political party a year or three in the future…Those in and around the Westminster bubble are probably often rather well-paid, but are they worth their salt?
How much cut-through has the @TheIndGroup had beyond the bubble? 19% spontaneously mentioned it to Populus as their number one most noticed news story. For those of you not familiar with this series, that's A LOT. https://t.co/lU4mipHapp
Fathead Chuka announces that the Independent Group is now a registered party: “Change UK”. Not “The Independent Party”? That would have sounded odd, but then the USA had the “Tea Party”. Anyway, “Change” it is. Loose change? Small change? Am I being unkind?
BREAKING: We have been overwhelmed by the public support for @TheIndGroup since we were established last month, with tens of thousands or people all over the country signing up as supporters. Today we've announced we have applied to become a political party – Change UK. (1)
“The Independent Group for Change, also known as Change UK, was a British centrist, pro-European Union political party, founded in February 2019 and dissolved ten months later, shortly after all its MPs lost their seats in the 2019 general election.”
