Diary Blog, 11 July 2021, including thoughts about life, death and killing

An interesting read

An interesting read from 1991: the Anthroposophical magazine The Golden Blade. https://www.waldorflibrary.org/images/stories/Journal_Articles/Golden_Blade_1991.pdf.

On the one hand, this will be the temptation of Americanism, which threatens ‘ gradually to tum Eastem Europe into a virginal appendage of the economically developed and politically advanced Westem countries and also to inundate it on a huge scale with all the ‘achievements’ and ‘fruits’ of super-materialism. On the other hand, as its counterpart, the temptation which arises out of a rejection and fear of this mighty and unconquerable wave of Westem materialism to return to one or another of the forms of the traditional spiritual past.

Although Americanism will be able in a comparatively short time to satisfy the more ‘earthly’ demands of the East European, in so far as these have been virtually unsatisfied during the past seventy-two years, it will, as a result of its anti-spiritual nature, be unable to offer him any kind of spiritual ideals or evolutionary perspectives, apart from that of achieving universal material well-being

Musing on life, death, and on the nature of killing as sin

Most religions forbid the taking of life. In Christianity and Judaism, the Ten Commandments given to Moses cover the issue, while in Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism (etc), similar basic prohibition is outlined.

In the most ancient of the still-existing major world religions, Hinduism, killing is seen as wrong but, in some cases, also right. For example, on the field of Kurukshetra, when Arjuna loses heart at the thought of fighting and killing his relatives on the other side, Krishna puts steel into him by indicating that it is Arjuna’s destiny to kill on the battlefield, in the cause of the right. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arjuna#Bhagavat_Gita.

“When the war was declared and the two armies were facing each other, Arjuna realized that he would have to kill his dear granduncle (Bhishma), on whose lap he had played as a child and his respected teacher (Drona), who had held his hand and taught him how to hold the bow and arrow, making him the greatest archer in the world. Arjuna felt weak and sickened at the prospect of killing his entire family, including his 100 cousins and friends such as Ashwatthama. Despondent and confused about what is right and what is wrong, Arjuna turned to Krishna for divine advice and teachings. Krishna, who Arjuna chose as his charioteer, advised him of his duty. This conversation forms the Bhagavad Gita, one of the most respected religious and philosophical texts in the Hindu religion. Krishna instructs Arjuna not to yield to degrading impotence and to fight his kin, for that was the only way to righteousness. He also reminded him that this was a war between righteousness and unrighteousness (dharma and adharma) and it was Arjuna’s duty to slay anyone who supported the cause of unrighteousness, or sin. Krishna then revealed his divine form and explained that he is born on earth in each eon when evil raises its head.” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurukshetra_War#The_Bhagavad_Gita].

In fact, we see that the anti-killing prohibition is taken as literal prohibition by very few in our society. The “Thou shalt not kill” injunction in the Ten Commandments is kept to, most of the time, by most humans, as far as killing humans is concerned, but the same people (most of them) think nothing of, say, buying and consuming animal flesh, or fish. Or shooting pheasant. Where do we draw the line? Shellfish? Oysters? What about plants? They are also killed. Is pain and suffering, if any, the deciding factor? How literal must we be?

In India, there is a sect called the Jains, who even wear fine net over their mouths in case they inadvertently swallow small insects as they, the Jains, go about their day.

In Christianity, at first in Roman Catholicism, the notion of the “just war” was developed. If I am not in error, the thinkers behind this were St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Dominic.

That idea, of the “just war”, is deeply ingrained in human religion and in human history. Look at, for example, the Second World War. The psychological convenience of both the West (UK/USA, mainly) and the East (Russia) demands that the war against the German Reich be regarded as an “OK” war, a “just” war, and so a justifiable war. How else can the death, pain, and suffering be —conveniently— exculpated?

Germany suffered at least ten times the number of deaths (perhaps as many as 800,000) by bombing as did the UK (c.60,000), and the USA was not bombed at all. That disproportion, and other things, are considered “OK” because the war was, and still is, labelled as a “just war”, a designation encouraged by the Jew-Zionist element via endless films, books etc.

[Dresden in 1945. British planes bombed Dresden and caused a firestorm; in following days, American fighters flew in daytime, strafing streets and even shooting mothers with babies seen on those streets]

The issue is not as clear-cut as many of us would like to believe. We, most of us, were appalled at the outrages perpetrated by the IRA in both Northern Ireland and the UK from, especially, 1970-1997. All right, but one IRA bombing might kill one or two, or perhaps a hundred, people, whereas a single plane, even in WW2, might kill hundreds or thousands of people, mostly “civilians”. That was taken further at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Is quantity even relevant?

These “thoughts out of season” were prompted not primarily by thoughts about politics, as such, but by the present plague of flying ants, which are at present such a nuisance in Southern England.

How bad does a nuisance have to be before extermination becomes the only perceived alternative? Do flying ants have rights, or at least the right to have their needs considered by humans?

Questions without answers, perhaps.

Tweeter “@Tom5731” displaying an ignorance that is all too common. The Daily Mail support for the BUF was brief, and had been withdrawn by 1934.

Quite. To listen to some British people, you would think that nowhere else in the world has health services, or that they exist only for the wealthy few; or that the only alternative to the present NHS in the UK is some “pay or die” American-style health provision (though that is not a completely true characterization anyway).

That, however, is not the only aspect: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/12/10/tv-ads-and-soaps-are-the-propaganda-preferred-by-the-system-in-the-uk/.

Quite so. The weaponization of this relatively unimportant virus by means of a massive fear campaign has several benefits for the System. One is the —all but total— prohibition of traditional political activity.

Trad. politics? System politics? The perhaps vulgar but certainly accurate cartoon below makes the point quite well:

London. Zoo.

Boris-idiot. Boris the clown. Boris the part-Jew, part-Levantine chancer and liar. Only when you see how poor is this idiot and his mostly non-British Cabinet do you also understand how hopeless is misnamed “Labour” and its own idiotic leader, Starmer…

Starmer and Labour also offer nothing at all to the British people.

The law is being replaced by the wishes of the Government

Just heard radio news to the effect that various clowns in the present Cabinet are now saying that the facemask nonsense will “end” on 19 July 2021, 8 days from now, but that the public will be “expected” to wear facemasks inside “where appropriate” or the like.

In this country, the mere wishes of ministers and their advisers have never constituted binding law, not at least since the 17th Century.

Laws must be obeyed (on pain of penalty), but the wishes or “guidance” of government and administrators need not be obeyed unless made part of law by properly passed secondary legislation.

What we have here is a conflation of governmental wishes with law. It trashes the whole rule of law. In effect, it says, “do as we say even though it is not illegal not to do so.”

This has, perhaps intentionally, a confusing effect on public and police. We saw in 2020 how some police officers, both high and low in rank, seemed to enjoy arrogating to themselves powers which they, in law, did not actually possess: examining people’s shopping, stopping lone motorcyclists out for a spin etc.

The traditional line drawn was “law— to be obeyed, and to be enforced by courts and where necessary by police”, and “anything not law— voluntary in application”. That was right. This new “this is not the law but you really must do it” is actually the trashing of any concept of rule of law.

In the end, both the Scottish and Welsh nationalists were (in the late 20thC) infiltrated by System drones, and became just part of the System. The SNP is the more obvious, but Plaid Cymru is similar, just less successful.

I remain convinced that the only strategy that makes immediate sense is for there to be a relocation of social-national people to the South West of the UK. Concentration of forces. I have blogged about this in the past (from 2016 or 2017).

Well worth reading: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8715881/DOMINIC-SANDBROOK-Britain-feet.html

Wouldn’t it be better to focus on shielding the vulnerable, instead of shackling the entire population? And above all, the six-million-dollar question: is this insistent nannystatism really the only way?

A few weeks ago I wrote in these pages about my recent visit to Sweden. Right from the start, the Swedes had no lockdown, no masks and no curfews. When I visited, I found the restaurants and bars packed

The shops were a little quieter than usual, but still busy enough. Life, in other words, was going on. Mere anecdotal evidence, some people said. And it’s true that back in the spring, the Swedes made a complete mess of shielding their care homes, which drove up their fatality rates

Even so, just look at the facts. Without imposing sweeping restrictions, and by trusting people to behave responsibly, the Swedes have avoided a second surge. Their figures for Covid deaths in the last three days were 2, 1 and 4 respectively.”

They’ve also avoided the worst of the economic damage. According to figures released this week, the Swedes actually made a £4bn budget surplus last month. By contrast, our most recently monthly figure was a deficit of £27bn.”[Dominic Sandbrook, Daily Mail]

Now it appears that Boris-idiot is intending to spend £100 BILLION or more on useless testing. This is going beyond mere incompetence. It is getting to the point where Boris-idiot and the Cabinet of Clowns can be regarded collectively (with the “scientific advisers, as well) as an existential danger to the British people. They should be put down, pro bono publico, starting with Boris-idiot.

This stupid and interfering government is also intending to create a force of busybody “marshals”: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8715109/Social-media-users-mock-Boris-Johnsons-army-Covid-marshals.html.

I sincerely hope that those busybodies get a good kicking.

Ha ha! Was just reading some of the Daily Mail readers’ comments, and I predict that the new toothless Handmaid’s Tale militia busybodies will face resistance. One reader said that they might end up upended in a wheelie bin! That, in turn reminded me of a incident from the mid-1980s.

When one of the Soviet ballet or dance ensembles visited the UK in the 1980s (I forget which one it was, out of several tours with which I had peripheral contact at the time via people I knew), the large group visited a number of Northern cities.

One day, a few of the main dancers were in, I think, Liverpool, along with their interpreter and their “Ministry of Culture” (KGB) minder. At one point, local “youths” decided to push over some wheelie bins and dustbins. Observing this, the KGB man asked an English person also there, “may I pliss do something about zis?” and, with that, approached the main youth, who was initially truculent until lifted up bodily and smashed into some more bins, with much clattering. End of the nuisance…

These new “marshals” remind me of the “PCSO” “police” (who are not actually police but sort-of look like them, and get paid about half as much). When the Jewish pack were trying to get me into trouble one way or the other, several years ago (in fact, I think that this particular incident happened in 2014 or 2015), the police were pressed into service, and a PCSO actually appeared at my now-humble home. A blonde woman from somewhere like Yorkshire transplanted to Hampshire, she had clearly not only failed to become a real policewoman but also dropped out of the Charm School.

The woman claimed that the Metropolitan Police wanted to speak to me and that my telephone number was required. I gave it to her. She wrote it down. I was told that the Metropolitan Police officer would be calling me at a certain time late that afternoon. In fact, there was no call.

The PCSO waste of space reappeared the following day, furious that I had (deliberately, she alleged!) “given her the wrong number” (I had not), and she said that if necessary she would call for a (real) police officer to come. I reiterated that she had been given the right number. I repeated it. The thick bitch checked. She had written down two repeated digits, but the right number had three repeated digits. The charmless bitch had written down the number wrongly but preferred to pretend that I had deliberately misled her.

The “Metropolitan Police officer” never did call me. There was a kind of ending to the story, though. I saw the aforesaid bitch in Waitrose some weeks later, buying some kind of “free-from” health food snack bars. I stood there until she turned around and saw me. She jumped! Ha ha! She maybe thought that I was about to assault her or worse. Let’s hope so…

I feigned amiability and said hello. She replied, dully. The woman actually then had the effrontery to ask me whether “anything happened” in relation to her visit to me. I thus had the opportunity to reply, “No; never heard anything. I expect that the police must have made a mistake.” Touché…

I did see the bitch once more, again some weeks later, after hours of heavy rain had just stopped. She was “walking the beat” down a side-road in the nearby town. Right next to her was a large and deep puddle, about 20 feet long. I had an unholy desire to drive and indeed roar past her, depositing a tsunami of rainwater all over her, but good sense prevailed (sadly…but she would either have recognized me or got my number). I took another way around.

In the following months, the Hampshire Police made most if not all of the PCSOs in my part of the county redundant for costs reasons, so she was probably chucked onto the dole. I hope that she was. Power-mad bitches like that should not be irritating and harassing members of the public and trying to intimidate them. Maybe she will apply to become one of Boris-idiot’s “Covid marshals”. If so, I hope that I see her patrolling after another cloudburst. I am less patient these days.

[redacted] him!

Not only Peter Hitchens! He, however, has a platform on the msm.

…and that is precisely why a “Conservative” Prime Minister can elevate a former Revolutionary Communist Party member, and defender of IRA terror bombing, to the House of Lords. Power above principle (or even decency).

Musical interlude

David Vance

I never had much time for David Vance, the minor politico from Northern Ireland, who has now been “suspended” from Twitter (probably expelled in reality, like me, Katie Hopkins and thousands of others).

Vance is an unpleasant man who was rude to me on at least two occasions. Probably a minor freemason, certainly pro-Israel and pro-Jewish lobby. A typical Northern Irish/Scottish “kosher nationalist” or Unionist, in short.

These “kosher nationalists” never seem to see that, no matter how much they proclaim their misguided devotion to Jewry and Israel, the Jewish element hates them anyway, as do those dupes of the Jews known as “antifa” (who often, and risibly, tend to be both pro-Jew and anti-Israel!).

Having said that, Vance’s expulsion is the latest attack on free speech on Twitter.

The funny thing is that the anti-free speech types on Twitter (Jews, “antifa” etc) fail to see that their tweeting accomplishes nothing in the real socio-political world. Not only are tweets ephemeral but people tweet in little bubbles or, as often said, “echo-chambers”. I see the same people tweeting pretty much the same things to each other that I have seen for a decade.

I repost tweets on my blog because it is a quick way of making points or taking the pulse, but tweets have no real weight, politically.

The tweet below by one “Dave Monk” (must be a misprint: that is “Dave Spart”, nicht wahr?) [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recurring_themes_and_in-jokes_in_Private_Eye] is fairly typical. Everyone not of his exact viewpoint must be “deplatformed” if not actually prosecuted or executed.

[Update, 2 February 2022: Well, “Dave Spart”/Dave Monk has himself now been “deplatformed”! Point proven, I think. The Twitter wannabee revolution has devoured (another of) its own children. “I’m lovin’ it!]

That “@TheRealGrumpDad” idiot, above, like many of the same sort, fails to see that his formula “you have free speech but not freedom from the consequences of that speech” could be said of, say, Stalin’s Soviet Union, Mao’s China etc. Yes, you can say whatever you like, but say the wrong thing and there will be “consequences” (imprisonment, even execution).

“GrumpDad” is not alone in his defective reasoning. A law lecturer from East Anglia, one Paul Bernal (a descendant of the part-Jew Marxist scientist J.D. Bernal https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._D._Bernal), often tweets in similar vein. Pathetic.

Those who rub their hands in glee as dissenting voices are censored or expelled from, eg, Twitter, seem not to realize that, if all peaceful means are taken away, people will turn to less peaceful means. In other words, there are “consequences” to actions as well.

Brexit

As I have said previously, I favour exit from the EU and have done so for a long time, well over a decade, but the fact is that several prime ministers of the UK have messed it up. That applies especially to Theresa May and Boris-idiot.

I may have been mistaken on one point: I thought that the UK would in reality stay under the EU’s rule even if the UK left the EU formally. Some kind of “agreement”, so little change on the ground (akin to the past year). To my surprise, it now seems that the UK might really leave, and under conditions of chaos and confusion. We read of government contingency plans involving the use of troops to contain urban discontent if there are shortages of medicine and even food.

In the immortal words of that little moneygrubbing MP, Johnny Mercer, this is shaping up to be be a complete “shitshow”.

Add to the above Brexit confusion the “virus” absurdities of this government, the continuing migration-invasion, and the general economic slide (including the slide in confidence and currency) and you have the basic conditions for a situation in a year or two which is, in principle, very favourable for social nationalism.

Asset-buying

The very wealthy are buying assets. Confidence in the pound sterling is waning. Gold continues to appreciate in value, and I have noticed that, compared to 10 or even 5 years ago, large estates are not readily available now for any money. For example, Rightmove had numerous large Scottish estates for sale at any one moment during the years 2010-2018 or 2019, but now there are few. Any that come onto the market go quickly.

The same is true of England. Valuable real estate is being bought up now, as a hedge. For example, one place, a house with 40 acres and a sea view, and only a mile from my own humble home, has just sold for £8.5 million, having been up for sale for weeks only. Another, about 5 miles away, seems to have sold for about £6 million.

These otherwise unremarkable incidents are all signs of a lack of confidence in both cash and equities.

Meanwhile, we are in the hands of people whose incompetence is boundless, led by a total idiot who has somehow been elevated to the position and rank of a prime minister, but who is incapable of fulfilling that role with even modest competence.

Boris-idiot is now planning to spend £100 BILLION (!) on entirely useless daily or weekly testing of the entire population! For a disease or condition which is now killing only 1 person out of thousand upon thousand of the population! It is madness. As said before, is this just total incompetence, or is it a form of conspiracy and treason?

Again, this by Hitchens hits the nail on the head. Why oh why do people simply accept without question what deadheads like Boris-idiot and little Matt Hancock say? I put it down to centuries-ingrained English or British deference, a class-based behaviour, though in fact “Boris” is a part-Jew, part-Turk, of very peculiar origins, and basically acting a part, the “upper-class” “Englishman”, neither of which he is. The training in privilege received at Eton, then at Oxford, helped. As for the rest of the present Cabinet, they are mostly Jews or part-Jews, Indians etc, and the few English ones of a “beggar on horseback” type, such as Hancock.

Sadly, a certain confident manner and a Standard English accent (perceived as “posh” by the plebs) gets many mediocre types rather far, not least many MPs. People really should look at the real levels of intelligence, education and other qualities of “our” MPs. Very poor, for the most part.

I have to say that, though I am far from agreeing on everything with Peter Hitchens, he must have the patience of a saint, the endurance of a Trojan, and the hide of a rhinoceros to put up with the Twitter mob as he does. I admit that I myself would simply not have the patience. I can only assume that Hitchens perceives what he does on Twitter as a duty of some kind laid upon him.

This (above)…

One aspect that made me laugh from the start of the Coronavirus “pandemic” (which is now, in the UK, not even an epidemic) is that all or almost all the pseudo-socialist mob on Twitter have been in favour of ever-more restriction of liberty, ever-more rules and ever-stricter “lockdown”. It is one of their psychological flaws. The need or perceived need to be told what to do.

One saw it in the Brexit situation, that idea that the UK’s civil liberties etc (free speech being the greatest), fought and struggled for over hundreds of years by British people could now only be maintained by a pack of tired Eurotrash politicians and bureaucrats in places like Brussels and Berlin and Strasbourg. In fact, the wish not to be free was palpable in the Remain camp.

Indeed, would anyone think himself “free” in an EU where to question any of the often absurd details of the “holocaust” fable is actually a criminal offence?!

We have seen, all through this “crisis” or scare, that the Labour Party official Opposition has been pathetic, just supporting the Government! Really really pathetic. I think I understand why Keir Starmer is doing it. He really, at heart, would like to see Labour as part of a fake “National Government”, thus giving Labour some reflected credibility as part of that Government. “Boris”, though, thanks to his unmerited and unexpected 80-seat Commons majority, does not need Labour. The result is that Labour is a total irrelevance.

Likewise the TUC. I remember from my teenage years the TUC as a vast, monolithic, almost Soviet bloc of unions, powerful and of national importance whether one supported or opposed their actions. Today on, I think, Sky News, up pops Frances O’Grady, its General Secretary, and all she can do, really, is bleat a little. A waste of space. The TUC still has 5.6 million members (Wikipedia; another source says only 3.69M), but that is only about 1 in 5 employees; if you include the self-employed, probably 1 in 6. Like Labour, near-irrelevant.

The Jew Shapps

The “Cabinet minister”, Jew Grant Shapps, on TV news this morning, posing in front of a small bookcase prominently featuring two Union Jacks. Surely, in view of his Zionist ideology and one-time position as head of the youth wing of Bnai Brith UK, Israeli flags would have been more fitting?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%27nai_B%27rith

Gerry Adams

More madness…

We live in a society where the likes of Gerry Adams have their supposed “rights” fastidiously upheld by a “Supreme Court”, but also a society in which Jez Turner was convicted and actually sent to prison merely for saying that Jews should be deported from the UK (as has happened several times in history), and a society in which Alison Chabloz was prosecuted and sentenced merely for singing satirical songs about proven “holocaust” fakes!

alison [above: the satirical singer-songwriter, Alison Chabloz, at the piano]

Corbyn

Not that Corbyn is “wrong” in this, but he has just spent 5 years supporting the mainstay of the Israeli/Zionist state, i.e. the “holocaust” narrative! Also, decrying anything supposedly “anti-Semitic”. In other words, he is against Zionism in the Middle East, but —in effect— supportive of it in Europe, North America and Australasia!

Ah, well, Corbyn is back in his comfort zone, bleating about matters far away, which he has no power to influence or change…

Peter Hitchens’ tweets

Also known as “the shoplifter’s special”…

Actually, the “facemask” nonsense is the ideal excuse for anyone asked in court, “and why were you walking around covering your face?” The criminal defence barrister has a new tool to put in his box, along with “it was someone who looked like the defendant”, “his fingerprints were there because he had been there previously, and legitimately…” and (after conviction) “the defendant has had an unhappy life to date…”

People, most of them, are motivated by will or by emotion, not (and certainly not primarily) by thought.

Terrorism and Reason

Thoughts about the recent “Islamist” terrorists

When Joseph Conrad wrote The Secret Agent in 1907, he used as the basis for his plot a real plot of 1894 to blow up the Royal Observatory, Greenwich: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secret_Agent#Background:_Greenwich_Bombing_of_1894

In 1920, Conrad wrote this about a discussion about that real event of 1894:

…we recalled the already old story of the attempt to blow up the Greenwich Observatory; a blood-stained inanity of so fatuous a kind that it was impossible to fathom its origin by any reasonable or even unreasonable process of thought. For perverse unreason has its own logical processes. But that outrage could not be laid hold of mentally in any sort of way, so that one remained faced by the fact of a man blown to bits for nothing even most remotely resembling an idea, anarchistic or other. As to the outer wall of the Observatory it did not show as much as the faintest crack. I pointed all this out to my friend, who remained silent for a while and then remarked in his characteristically casual and omniscient manner: “Oh, that fellow was half an idiot”.” [Wikipedia re. Conrad— The Secret Agent: A Simple Tale]

The supposed attempt on the Royal Observatory has in the past been described as “pure terrorism”, in that there could be no direct political “reason” to explode a bomb at or destroy the Observatory. I say “supposed” attempt because it was never proven, though it is hard to imagine any other reason why an anarchist carrying a bomb would climb the hill from Greenwich. Anyone who has been there knows that, to this day, the Royal Observatory stands alone, apart from an ice-cream shack etc, at the highest point of Greenwich Park; there is there no obvious other potential target:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenwich_Park#Royal_Observatory

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martial_Bourdin

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenwich_Park

In more recent years, that is in the 1990s, the Provisional IRA blew up buildings in London etc, trying as far as possible not to injure or kill anyone. That secondary intention was not born out of compassion or military decency, but purely out of reasoned calculation: destruction of important buildings in the City of London and elsewhere hit the “British Establishment” but resulted in little or no public outrage.

That campaign of the 1990s was in fact the polar opposite of the 1970s bombings of the Provisionals. Those 1970s attacks were poorly conceived from the political point of view and were, in some of the most outrageous examples, designed to kill or injure as many people as possible. The targeted buildings were often pubs sometimes frequented by British soldiers (entirely or almost entirely “other ranks”) as well as by civilian members of the public.

The Baltic Exchange was one such 1990s attack. I happened to hear the massive bomb detonate. At the time, I was in a small cafe-restaurant in Bloomsbury, nearly 3 miles away, with my then girlfriend. The sound of a bomb of that sort is distinctive. I remarked on it. We were puzzled.

In fact, despite the evening timing, the location of the target (uncrowded in evening) and a 20-minute warning, three people were killed (and 91 injured).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltic_Exchange_bombing

The IRA (in collaboration, inconsistently, with Sinn Fein) had a political purpose and a strategy. Basically, a United Ireland, achieved via making Northern Ireland too much of a nuisance to hold on to.

It could be argued that, despite the apparent sincerity of the “peace talks” that led eventually to the Good Friday Agreement, Sinn Fein/IRA “won”, strategically: power sharing in a democratic Northern Ireland (which is leading over time to a Catholic/Republican and so Sinn Fein victory, via the greater birth rate of the Catholic/Republican community); as Mosley predicted decades before, greater concordance of Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic within the EU (until Brexit, at least…); Sinn Fein to pursue a peaceful political strategy in the South— which seemed unrealistic and even quixotic to me, but not now that —over 20 years on— Sinn Fein has become the most significant political party in the Republic and may form a government:

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1240551/varadkar-irish-election-sinn-fein-united-ireland-leo-varadkar-gael-bbc-newsnight

Other “terrorist” campaigns have been launched over the years and decades, but they have all had serious political aims: Jews against the British in Palestine, Arabs against the Jews in Palestine/Israel, Communists and Social-Revolutionaries in imperial Russia etc.

Now let us move to these “Islamist” terrorists (in the UK) of recent years. They appear to have no directing brain or organization, and any “allegiance” to the main body of the ISIS barbarians seems to be little more than notional.

More than that, the individuals seem to want to create havoc as far as they can, but in the absence of heavy-duty weaponry can only do so using whatever weapons are freely available: knives, axes etc, cold weapons generally.

Targets have generally been ordinary members of the public. Even the police have mostly been killed or injured not because they were the main targets, but because they became involved in the course of fulfilling their duty.

What is the political aim of the “Islamist” terrorist? There seems to be none, save for a generalized or “pie in the sky” wish that the UK, along with the rest of Europe and the rest of the world, turns to Islam and adopts Sharia law. I suppose that that desire might be described as having been the aim of Islam since its foundation in the 7th Century:

The term “Islamist” is in fact only a convenient label. It appears that the recent UK “Islamist” terrorists, such as the Streatham attacker, knew little of their own religion.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51351885

Certainly most have not been noted as having attended specifically-Islamic madrassahs. The Streatham attacker had attended secular schools in or near London and was only 20 at time of death.

No attempt has, as yet, been made by such “Islamists” (in the UK) to assassinate any famous politician or high-ranking military figure. That may be purely because the “Islamist” terrorists, as “lone wolves” or small groups, have not the ability or means to undertake reconnaissance or intelligence work in order to discover addresses, schedules, daily habits etc.

The recent “Islamist” attackers have no real political or religious aims. The connecting thread seems to be a wish to hurt and kill non-Muslims and to achieve a spurious “martyrdom” by being “killed in battle”, i.e. shot by police or SAS during an incident. The secular equivalent is called, in the USA, “suicide by cop”. They have no real strategy and their tactics are pathetic. They not only have no prospect of success or victory but also no way of even forming a conception of what such success or victory might look like.

In short, “Islamist” terrorism, like Islam itself, is a dead end. Islamist terrorism can lead to nothing on the socio-political level and its only results are, and can only be, death. Death for any victims, and death for the “Islamists” themselves. A form of evil not seen in Europe previously, even during the Mongol invasion of the 13th Century.

What can be done? Nothing, directly. If a state has within its borders millions of Muslims, a certain small proportion of them will fall victim, in their own uneducated or semi-educated minds, to Islamism. Perhaps one in a thousand. There are about 3 million Muslims in the UK, so maybe 3,000 potential terrorists. In fact, that is the figure the police are suggesting [see Notes, below]. Others may also be radicalized, usually blacks of non-Muslim origin.

The only long term solution is for Britain to become an ethnostate, and Europe a collection of ethnostates. In the meantime, these stupid, pointless and unpleasant attacks will continue.

Diary Blog, 8 February 2020

Saw some dull System drone on Sky News, talking about all the wonderful work of the Coastguard, rescuing those in trouble at sea. Very good, but not when what it means is that migrant-invaders are basically given a fast-shuttle service from mid-Channel to the shores of England.

No less than 100 are known to have crossed the Channel on small boats yesterday alone (with or without UK government help). That’s the ones that were known about…What about the thousands of others no doubt smuggled in by ferry or via the Channel Tunnel? Some even come via light planes that land on grass strips in rural areas.

Then there are the “legal” migrants, in their thousands, daily. “Family members”, “asylum seekers”, “students” etc.

100 in a day (minimum) = about 40,000 in a year. Total arriving every year legally/illegally— about HALF A MILLION. No civilized economy or society can survive that for long.

I notice that these “poor refugees” (migrant-invaders, mostly economic migrants) seem to have access to good quality rubber boats or RIBs. Those boats cost from about £1,000 (with small outboard motor) to not only thousands but sometimes tens of thousands of pounds. The ones I saw in newspapers and on TV, and which were involved in yesterday’s incidents, cost about £4,000 each…

Poor suffering “refugees”? With £4,000-value motorboats? For God’s sake, when will the UK wake up? Actually, most of the people have woken up, but there are influential lobbies that want to bring in the invaders: System drones working to the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan [https://www.westernspring.co.uk/the-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-the-genocide-of-the-peoples-of-europe/] [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi], the “useful idiots” of “antifa”, “refugees welcome” etc (the “@zoejardiniere” type); then you have the Jewish lobby generally (very much involved with all of that).

My view is that there is a will across Europe to reverse the process, but that that will, or at least wish, is only found in the people (and some cartoonists), and not in the ZOG/NWO governments of most of the EU states (and UK), which are, in their most secret councils, part of the Coudenhove-Kalergi conspiracy.

Rather harsh satire, perhaps, or arguably, but it does portray the wish of the bulk of the European peoples as a whole.

Katie Hopkins

Katie Hopkins is back on Twitter (slightly to my surprise):

https://twitter.com/KTHopkins/status/1225806551253995521?s=20

As always, Ms. Hopkins aims again at the Muslims, when it was a Jewess and/or the Jewish lobby, and a lobby group allegedly funded in whole or in part by George Soros, that got her suspended from Twitter. Not “conspiracy theory” but admitted fact:

Katie Hopkins should think again and tweet accordingly, while she still can…

Like so many, Rachel Riley thinks that Twitter = The World or The Public, whereas in fact Twitter is an ever-narrower echo-chamber, as previously blogged about.

Talking about Twitter, the platform made a profit in 2018, the first since Twitter went public in 2013. Until 2018, Twitter had lost well over $USD 2.2 billion! I have often wondered why the big investors have been content to lose billions of dollars funding Twitter. What is really behind it (and Facebook etc)? Is it just a huge trawling operation to discover and archive users’ political views? Maybe. Maybe not. Look at Uber:

Whatever the truth of that, the Katie Hopkins/Rachel Riley/Twitter incident highlights again the precarious state of free speech online. If you annoy some daytime TV game show presenter, and that TV face is a loud enough nuisance to Twitter, Facebook, whatever, you’re kicked off those platforms and to hell with your supposed right to freedom of expression. Sick society.

Equal chance?

In the clip below, some no doubt sincere fellow from the North of England says that everyone has “an equal chance” and “it is what they do with it…”.

Is he joking? A couple of examples:

  • Boris Johnson: part-Jew; educated at considerable expense so that he might make the right sort of connections; sacked from various jobs but connections always sorted out other ones for him; no good at anything except self-promotion. Bang! Prime Minister 2019-; useless;
  • David Cameron-Levita: part-Jew, educated at…[see above]…. Inherited £40 million. Connections had him given a job as Special Adviser to a Con Cabinet minister and then as head of a TV publicity dept. Underwhelming, but still got selected as Con MP for a safe seat. Bang! Prime Minister 2010-2017; useless;
  • Zac Goldsmith: part-Jew, educated [see above]. Inherited about £300 million. Never had a job, really. Selected as MP. Bang! Appointed minister; lost Commons seat later but then immediately elevated to House of Lords; useless;

You get the picture. That poor sap in the clip really thinks that, under a Conservative Party government, he has or will have, or his offspring if any will have, the same life-“chances” as someone replete with family money, and with connections garnered at somewhere such as Eton (and then Oxford, in the first two examples given). It’s sad…

The reality is that

  • this government is for (at best) the most-affluent half of the society (and arguably for the most-affluent 10%); and
  • the whole idea of “equality of opportunity” is flawed in any case, leaving 90% of the people out in the cold.

Political predictions

John Rentoul candidly admitting that it is not easy to predict the course of British politics: https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/politics-predictions-2020-boris-johnson-keir-starmer-reshuffle-cabinet-a9324811.html

Society

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/switzerland-homophobia-referendum-lgbt-gay-illegal-a9324731.html

These days, Jesus Christ would probably have to face the magistrates for his forthright views! As for Leviticus, that old bastard would be “doin’ a tenner in the Kesh”!

Quiz

Well, I know six, maybe seven, of the answers to those 10 questions. How come John Rentoul got only three right (and is fairly famous, influential etc) and I am not? There’s the question…[10  mins later: in fact I only got 6, not 7, right; “Anderlecht”, Question 9, stumped me, as did Questions 1, 4 and 8].

News from Scotland

As I have often said, if the people of Scotland really want “Independence” from the UK, fine, but don’t expect any further financial help from England. Or an open border. I myself cannot see that Scotland is really “independent” if it is still under (not just part of) EU, NATO, and the international financial web, but there it is…; also, is Scotland going to continue to take in non-Europeans and pretend that they and their offspring are Scottish?

Still, good luck…

Axminster carpets

https://twitter.com/Emma__Wallis/status/1225724905431457793?s=20

“Brexit” and “uncertainties around Brexit” look like joining “the cheque’s in the post” and other phrases as an excuse of choice. BBC News: “[Axminster]…had previously come close to closing in 2013 and was subsequently rescued by a consortium led by a private investor Stephen Boyd.” No comma before “Stephen Boyd”…well, that’s the BBC now, full of 20-somethings with “Firsts” from Oxford but who cannot even put a comma in the right place.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-51393160

So Axminster very nearly closed down seven years ago? Long before Brexit, long before the 2016 Referendum…

Norton Motorcycles

Looks like famous Norton has gone too:

https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/top-stories/norton-motorcycles-goes-into-administration-1-6496163

…and with the same excuse: “...less than two years later, in the same week the UK was to leave the European Union, the firm has gone into administration after reportedly struggling to pay a tax bill. The owner also blamed Brexit uncertainty.”

So it was not poor management, lack of demand for large motorcycles, fraud, or anything like that, just “Brexit uncertainty”…oh, and the apparent fact that the company has not been paying its tax bills…

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/jan/30/taken-for-a-ride-how-norton-motorcycles-collapsed-amid-acrimony-and-scandal

However, the story is far more complex than that. It is a pile-up that includes hundreds of hapless pension holders, together with unsuspecting Norton customers, staff and even government ministers, who repeatedly endorsed Norton as millions of pounds in taxpayer support flowed into the firm. All will take a lot of persuading that this is merely a story of a plucky British company that is a victim of circumstance. Their anger looks likely to be directed principally towards one man: Norton’s boss, Stuart Garner.” [The Guardian]

An associated business owned by Stuart Garner, the nearby Priest House Hotel, is also in administration, being run temporarily by an outside hotel chain.” [Wikipedia].

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norton_Motorcycle_Company

In other words, this Garner character is basically yet another “entrepreneur” fraudster.

Sad though, to see two “iconic” (as people now say) British companies down and probably out.

Britain’s collapsing society

Here is an example of why, in part, UK society is slowly collapsing:

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/grinning-businessman-who-broke-mans-17702035

Brutal thug attacked a man in a surprise attack, having already hit another nearby. Four punches, delivered to a helpless victim. Victim had to have metal plate inserted etc.

“Bassnett initially gave a no comment interview to police, before he was picked out by Mr Bimpson at an identity parade”

“When interviewed again, he claimed he was threatened by the two men in the car park, which prosecutors did not accept.”

Bassnett, who admitted causing grievous bodily harm, has 29 previous convictions for 39 offences, including an affray in 2003.

“In August 2013 he punched a man during a taxi queue row in Liverpool city centre, knocking out one of his teeth, and pushed a woman to the ground.

Bassnett was convicted of battery against the woman in December 2013 and assault causing actual bodily harm against the man in 2015, for which he received a nine-month sentence, suspended for two years.” [Liverpool Echo]

Spared imprisonment because he has a business with 2 employees (it must be a small business indeed, if his own pay is only £1,600 per month), and because he has children. This is not justice.

I see the judge’s reasoning, but this was a brutal crime by someone with no less than 29 previous convictions!

Just as well that the defendant did not do such a wicked thing as mention the bloody Jews in a speech, as did Jez Turner (1 year immediate imprisonment, despite being of previous good character and having spent 12 years in the British Army, including active deployments to both Afghanistan and Iraq)…
