“Covid” thoughts

I was thinking about the hysteria that surrounded the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic.

Certainly there was at least some tangible reality there, to a limited extent, but much of what we witnessed may have been attributable to mass hysteria. I was reading a piece in Wikipedia about some instances of that:

  • Emirates Flight 203 (September 2018) – 106 of 521 passengers on a 14-hour flight from Dubai to New York reported symptoms including coughing, sneezing, fever, or vomiting. The pilot notified airport ground staff, and personnel from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention met and quarantined the plane in New York and evaluated passengers, 11 of whom were sent to the hospital. A few passengers on the “flight from hell” turned out to have common colds or flu, with the other passengers coming to the belief that they were also sick after observing those around them.[65][66]

Makes one think. See also:

  • Starehe Girls’ CentreKenya (October 2019) – 52 students were isolated with an unknown disease, showing symptoms of a high-pitched cough, sneezing and low-grade fever, a number that later rose to 68.[68] As the number rose, the school’s administration shut the school down and instructed parents to pick up their daughters. Specimens collected from the affected students showed only two cases of rhinovirus, a virus that is the predominant cause of the common cold. After carrying out psychological assessments on the students, a team of mental health specialists dispatched by Kenya’s Ministry of Health to the school concluded that the ‘mysterious’ disease was a case of mass hysteria.”
  • Belgium (June 1999) – Coca-Cola withdrew 30 million units of its soft-drink product from sale after more than a hundred people in Belgium and northern France complained of cramps, nausea and other problems after consuming the soft drinks. Testing found no evidence of tainted product and the incident was reported to be a panic, perhaps fueled by the discovery of dioxins in Belgian meat, which had brought down the national government earlier that year.”

The above-described cases were spontaneous, but the “Covid” hysteria was deliberately whipped up by State agencies, by System politicians, and by the transnational conspiracy.

Now, the hangover: deflated populations, and a huge bill for all the State monies wasted.

A year ago on the blog

I was also reading what I wrote exactly a year ago. I think that it has held up rather well. See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/29/diary-blog-29-september-2022-including-thoughts-about-the-political-fallout-from-the-current-economic-crisis-and-about-the-possibility-of-russian-nuclear-attack/.

The wanton vandalism of the destruction of the 300-year-old tree reminds us that Evil is not merely a philosophical notion but primarily an active force which, in the human being, encourages destruction, as in the damage done many times to the statue of The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen. That small and beautiful statue has several times been vandalized: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Little_Mermaid_(statue).

I never liked that peculiar little individual (Andrew Lloyd Webber), though I concede that I have never met him, and also cannot say exactly why I have always disliked him. Just instinct, I suppose. I also suppose that many will cite the pleasure his music has apparently given to millions. No argument. I just do not like what I have seen, heard, or read of him, and that is my privilege. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Lloyd_Webber.

The line of defense of the Russian troops turned out to be stronger than the West thought, said Chief of the Defense Staff of the British Armed Forces Tony Radakin. According to him, it is necessary to adjust expectations from the results of Ukraine’s counteroffensive in the short term.

So Admiral Radakin and his colleagues in Defence, SIS, the System political swamp etc got it all wrong (again), despite all the resources that they can command, yet I, sitting in poor circumstances, and with only my own knowledge and an Internet connection, got it right (again).

Britain is poorly served by its “experts” of all sorts, and particularly the armed services, Foreign Office and SIS.

I was just idly wondering whether it would make any difference at all to this country if we had no Army, Navy, and Air Force.

At first blush, that might sound ridiculous, but in the real world of today, what do our armed services do for us?

Let us say that the UK had only the nuclear deterrent, whether based at sea or on land. What about the rest? What use is most of our Navy now? We are unlikely to want to fight the enemies of the past few hundred years (eg France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Japan), and anyway our Navy is now so small as to be dwarfed by our potential or supposed enemies (China? Russia?), let alone our supposed main ally (in reality, strategic overlord), the USA.

The Royal Navy cannot even protect us from the migration-invasion; indeed, it acts as a ferry service for it, along with others (RNLI, Border “Farce” etc).

The same is largely true of the RAF. As for the Army, it is now so small that it has little capability for doing anything very much.

Are our armed forces an anachronism, as things stand?

At least plant many other trees in its honour.

I blogged about this yesterday.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable” [John F. Kennedy].

System politicians and System msm talking heads and scribblers are desperate to keep those truths from the British people, desperate to talk about almost anything else, to exclude those realities.

You can see the pro-migration (or not anti, anyway) “I’m not listening” types on Twitter/”X”, in the replies to Goodwin’s tweet, putting forward their ideas for why Goodwin is mistaken, or rather as to what is driving mass migration to Europe (“climate change” etc). Some of the gravediggers of our way of life and our whole civilization.

The question I want to ask the liberal left is simply this. If you disagree with Suella Braverman then what is YOUR solution to the global migration crisis? Because deriding everybody as “racist” and talking in vague terms about safe & legal routes with no limit is no solution at all.” [Matt Goodwin].

Exactly. The “liberal” pro-migration-invasion dummies and “refugees welcome” dimwits have no answer to that or to anything else. Take housing. They say the Government should magically create millions of new houses (hutches for immigrants), despite the cost(both financial and environmental). They also have no answer at all to the question as to how many millions or tens of millions of migrants they think acceptable.

Incidentally, I blogged about part-Jew Owen Jones five years or so ago: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/04/a-brief-word-about-owen-jones/.

The only way the misnamed “Conservative” Party might claw its way back would be to, first of all, back Suella Braverman’s views not only by words but by tough and uncompromising deeds, but I see no sign that Indian money-juggler Sunak, completely controlled by the transnational conspiracy, might do anything like that.

Indeed, it might be that Sunak and others want their own party to go down badly in 2024, in order to install Jewish-lobby puppet Keir Starmer as an “elected dictator”, doing the bidding of the Zionists, the Bilderbergers, the freemasonic cabals, the WEF etc. Elimination of freedom of expression (already cut back hugely) etc.

Admittedly, a “conspiratorial” suggestion, but maybe right all the same…

As I said yesterday, ironic that the only voice in Government speaking the truth (some of it) about the migration-invasion of Europe is an Indian woman married to a Jew. Strange times…

It does a bit deeper than the “corporate money train“. Part of the “Great Reset” is the increasingly-pervasive censorship across the world, and very obvious in the UK these days.

Actually, when you look at tweets by the “FBPE” idiots, the “Supertanskiii” types etc, you see that the self-describing “Left” and or pseudo-liberals have actually nothing to say about ideology, policy etc. Their main joy is seeing people get “cancelled”, dismissed from jobs, expelled from professions, sacked from positions etc for expressing the “wrong” views, or just for not going along with the mob.

The self-describing “Left” have pretty much given up trying to create or push for a better society, and anyway have no real ideas about how to achieve that, and so they settle for this sterile “cancel culture”: getting people expelled from Twitter or Youtube etc, getting people dismissed from even quite standard jobs, and so on. That, and tweeting rubbish in the “Supertanskiii” vein, such as about how they “f*****g hate” “Tories” and various other labelled people.

Most of this, maybe not all, has its roots in the Jew-Zionist attempts over the past half-century or so to destroy free speech about Jewish behaviour and/or the whole “holocaust” farrago. It has now leaked out from there —mostly from there, in my view— and contaminates society generally.

…and when it is said there that “1.2M people entered the country; 600,000 net” last year alone, what that really means is that 1.2M (mostly black and brown) entered the UK, and that, yes, 600,000 people left, but many —perhaps most— of the 600,000 that left were real British people fleeing to countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada. So 1.2M non-whites entered, and 900,000+ remain, whereas 300,000+ white British people left, so the population was altered demographically by not far short of a million, from white to non-white.

“Secretary of the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine O. Danilov doubts that the West will support Ukraine “until victory.”

To this day, no one can give us a clear answer as to what our victory means. They tell us, we will support you until.. etc. and I have never heard the phrase “victory” anywhere. They say, “until you decide for yourself and make certain decisions. “And they should clearly say – they are with us until victory or they are with us for some time – said Danilov.”

Victory“? Meaning what? Ukrainian (Kiev regime) forces in Red Square? Occupation of Russia, a country about 30x bigger than Ukraine, and with a population 4x that of Ukraine? Destruction of Russian armies and/or cities (when Russia has about 6,000 nuclear weapons, and Ukraine has…none)?

That thug, Danilov, does not explain further; nor, realistically, could he.

The conflict in Ukraine will end in disaster for the Ukrainian armed forces.

If the Ukrainian armed forces do not stop in time with a counter-offensive, this country will face a catastrophic defeat, writes “New York Times” journalist David French.

The commanders of the Ukrainian armed forces plan to push the soldiers to fight to the breaking point. However, remember the German Spring Offensive in 1918, towards the end of the First World War. The German army dealt blow after blow to the Allies, but achieved little success.” the journalist writes.

When Western support for Ukraine becomes weaker, the conflict will end with the defeat of the Ukrainian armed forces, emphasizes French.”

Well, this week brings another victory, though narrow, over political journalist John Rentoul. He scored 5/10, but I trumped that with 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 1, 3, 4, and 5.

“Thought for the Day”

I was just looking at tweets mentioning me, going back years. Good to see that many of those who attacked me on Twitter for years are now missing, presumed dead. That is, missing from Twitter, with timelines either ended some time ago, or just posting automated follow/unfollow tweets. I know that several are no longer on this Earth.

Could it be because many MPs are not too different from Osborne in being soulless? As to the general public, I do not think that Osborne (a part-Jew whose brother and father are both sexually deviant) ever was popular with most British people when he was Chancellor.

Don’t forget those who should be deported to Israel.

It is now clear that the “British” Government (which contains few real Brits) is working, and quite deliberately, against the interests of the British people.

Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.

That will probably trigger a frenzied effort to destabilize Russia, an effort mounted by NWO/ZOG.

At this point it becomes a race as to what happens first, the collapse of the entire post-1945 Western order, or a Third World War…

For a brief moment, I thought that the girl in the photo was his (alleged) girlfriend. (only my little joke).

Ah, Jeremy Vine, the “Covid” “vaccine” partisan and sometime pro-police-state drone (during the “Covid” craziness), who is also pro-EU, pro-mass immigration, and a fanatical pro-cycling and anti-car troublemaker.

Still, I shall be sorry to see him go from (was BBC, now Channel 5) Eggheads (if reports are accurate). He presents that rather well.

Makes a million a year. Not bad for someone who, after an expensive private education, left Durham University with only a 2:2 in English.

I once had a girlfriend who opined that Durham University was where people study if they are from wealthy families but cannot get into Oxford or Cambridge. That was in relation to a barrister who was a friend of a couple she knew, someone with a very unusual name— something like “Mauleverer”.

In fact, I met said barrister when we attended a dinner party (not my favourite activity) in Blackheath in, I think, 1987 or thereabouts, at which that barrister was also a guest. I was a belated Bar School student at the time (though about 31). The barrister in question must have been 40-something, but in my opinion looked 50+.

The hostess was a charming blonde lady of Polish origins (but I think born in the UK), whose familiar name I forget and was something like Dushka (but not that). Her husband was a friendly chap who seemed amused by that barrister’s seemingly dog-like devotion to the hostess.

If truth be known, the barrister in question struck me as a bit of a nitwit, and I was told that the hostess later said to my girlfriend that I had given more of an impression of being a senior barrister than the said real senior barrister, despite my being ten years younger and a mere Bar student.

Well, perhaps my view was wrong, or at least superficial, because I believe that I read that the barrister in question was then or not long afterwards a silk (QC, now of course KC) and later became a commercial arbitrator and judge (I think in Hong Kong), as well as a trustee of one or two well-known institutions. So maybe he was not a nitwit, at least not entirely. Or maybe our social system rewards people from privileged backgrounds who make the right noises. Take your choice.

Tweeter “Mido” needs to know that, without the almost endless arms, ammunition, money, medical supplies, and other aid (eg food) being channeled to the Kiev regime from the West, the war would stop in a matter of weeks, perhaps even days, and what is left of the Ukrainian state and society would simply cease to function, also in weeks or days. Even state benefits and pensions in Ukraine are now being underwritten by the NWO/ZOG states.

As for troops, the Kiev regime is already pressing into service all sorts of people hitherto exempt. Kiev is running out of cannon-fodder.

Just imagine— were Biden to drop dead, that would be the new U.S. President…

Never assume that progress, or civilization, or culture, cannot just stop, or be destroyed, or that society cannot fall into decadence, backwardness, and evil. In the UK, a gradual slide is happening right now, all around us, but most people are still blind to it.

Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, Kennedy…Biden? Probably not, but time will tell.

Simon Pegg. Actor, apparently. I had not heard of him and, looking at him, have never seen him on TV either. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Pegg.

Not that I disagree with him about Sunak’s “study maths until age 18” nonsense. The most important thing in that regard is to drill very basic maths (multiplication, subtraction, division) into pupils aged 7 or so. I constantly meet young and not so young cashiers at Waitrose who literally cannot work out how many lottery tickets are necessary for X-number of lines at Y-number per ticket. Some have to use a calculator!

Of course, “@TheFreds” are quite right: changing the colour of the deck chairs on the Titanic changes nothing but the scenery.

More lies from “Jack Monroe”

Serious pathological/psychological condition, I think.

I posed the question weeks, and I think even months, ago as to whether “Jack Monroe” sometimes makes up things and rolls out a pack of lies almost daring people to accuse her of lying, as in (to take a few examples only) that she was “on the game” (prostitution) in Essex (by reason of impecuniosity), that she attended the Grenfell Tower fire (60+ miles from where she lives), was “waved through the police cordon” (oh yes, the police would really allow a stray interfering rubbernecker to go through…) and even had plans of the building (why would she? How could she?).

The “Bootstrap Cook” said that she was so poor that she had to sell her small son’s toy dinosaur, that she had to take out lightbulbs in order not to waste electricity, and that she had to boil soap to make shower gel (which does not even stack up logically, when 90p shower gel lasts for 1-3 weeks with daily use, and when boiling soap costs money in itself; and why not just use the soap instead of trying to make gel out of it?). Ludicrous.

On several occasions, I have been certain in my own mind that her lies must amount to her thinking “surely the sad bastards won’t buy this one?!“, and then they (those who defend her to the marrow) do buy whatever absolute crap she comes out with at any given moment; while also (631 utter mugs as of today) each sending her between £3.50 and £44 a month!

In other words, at times she is certainly, in the well-known phrase, “having a laugh”, a laugh at the expense of the mugs subsidizing her and the others promoting her, the latter including Nigella Lawson, at least a couple of Labour MPs, and of course the media rats from the Guardian, Observer, BBC and Channel 4.

I think that “Jack Monroe” lies mainly because she enjoys inventing a fake or 90% fake narrative, and because she enjoys making absolute mugs out of those who not only defend her as a supposed —if risible— “champion of the poor” but who also send money to her!

She herself has said recently that her basic lifestyle, inc. rent, utilities, food, adds up to about £4,000 a month. The 631 utter mugs subsidizing her are anyway sending more than that (I am guessing about £6,000 but it may be more) each month.

I have no idea who that particular mug is, nor whether his/her problem is a mental illness or just plain everyday stupidity, but imagine taking money off someone like that on the false promise/threat that Con Party MP, Lee Anderson, was going to be sued for stating, entirely truthfully, something along the lines of the assertion that “Jack Monroe” is basically a fraud (at very least, a “grifter”) “living off the backs of the poor“, which is exactly what she is and does.

It is obvious that “Jack Monroe” is not going to sue Lee Anderson and/or Martin Daubney, though she has hinted at “things going on behind the scenes etc”.

Rubbish. Technically, she has 3-4 months left before the one-year limitation applies, but Lee Anderson has apparently not even received any letter before action.

It’s another “Jack Monroe” lie, in other words.

I think that “Jack Monroe” has one main intent, which is to be the centre of attention. Nothing else. I believe, rightly or wrongly, that even the money she gets from mugs etc. is very secondary to that central narcissism.

Incidentally, the “media folk” are still promoting her— there are a couple of articles even today in the Metro newspaper, giving “tips” and a recipe, and no mention of the scandal(s).

[Ava Gardner in Pandora and the Flying Dutchman]

Strange to see: I was just reading about Ava Gardner [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ava_Gardner] and saw that she died in 1990, aged 67, at at her home in Ennismore Gardens, Kensington (London), near Kensington Gardens, where she had lived since 1968. I never knew. Had I thought of it at all, I probably would have assumed that she lived in either California or New York City.

I have only been to that exact place once, I think; in the very early 1980s, with someone escorting the then Metropolitan of Kiev (a kind of Russian Orthodox archbishop, the second-highest prelate of that church) who was then visiting London. The Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition is at the end of a kind of hidden-away cul de sac there. We dropped him there, and were invited in (no-one else was around, as far as I can recall). The Metropolitan kindly gave me a bottle of Moskovskaya vodka.

In other words, only 1 person out of every 235 is on the side of “Jack Monroe” and her tweet.

Most supporters of the “Bootstrap Cook” effectively say, on the larger scale, “let’s bin the Tories. Once ‘Labour’ are in government, everything will be fine, or start to be fine“…

Does anyone with any sense actually believe that? The migration-invasion (both across the Channel and otherwise) will continue unchanged in numbers, and Rachel Reeves and her fellow Labour Friends of Israel MPs will be even harder on the unemployed, disabled etc than the fake “Conservatives” have been— she said so expressly.

In a binary political system, and one where both main System parties are really almost identical, you cannot change things very much by squashing one party at some election or other, because the other one is thereby strengthened, and the “Deep State” policies continue largely unchanged.

That Tom Doorley person is an Irish restaurant critic, who has been oddly biased in favour of the “Bootstrap Cook” for some time; see also https://www.tomdoorley.com/about.

Very true, though I doubt an accurate quotation. Or am I just too nice? I see various journalists tweeting that.

So much for people needing a degree. She did not have one, so (like Iain Dunce Duncan Smith and others), she just pretended to have one: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebekah_Brooks#Early_life.

Charles III

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/sep/13/oh-god-i-hate-this-king-charles-expresses-frustration-over-leaking-pen

King Charles has been seen airing his frustration during a ceremony for the second time in four days while in Northern Ireland.

The new monarch was shown signing a visitor’s book in front of cameras at Hillsborough Castle, near Belfast. He reacted after the pen he was using leaked on him.

“Oh god I hate this (pen)!” Charles said, standing up and handing the pen to his wife, Camilla, Queen Consort.

“Oh look, it’s going everywhere,” Camilla said as her husband wiped his fingers.

“I can’t bear this bloody thing … every stinking time,” Charles said as he walked away.

When completing the documents on Tuesday he also used the wrong date, before checking with an aide who told him it was 13 September not 12 September.

At the accession council on Saturday, an irritated Charles had signalled for aides to move a pen holder and pens that had got in his way as he signed documents.

[The Guardian].

Peevish. Self-absorbed. Trivial.

The warning markers are all there.

I think that the Monarchy, in a living sense, ended with the death of the late Queen.

Incidentally, Charles has given orders to sack most of his loyal staff at Clarence House [https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/sep/13/king-charles-staff-given-redundancy-notice-during-church-service-for-queen].

Is that a sign of what a “King Charles III” monarchy will be like? Much public virtue-signalling but no real concern for people?

Rather like most present System politicians, clergy and msm scribblers, not to mention Twitter-twits.

Actually, looking at him, I wonder how long Charles will be there.

The Guardian

The Guardian also speaks up for some free speech [https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/sep/13/britain-free-speech-heckles-prince-andrew], but I have, in the past decade, seen nothing along those lines to defend the rights of freedom of expression of someone (me) tweeting completely correct and accurate tweets about the behaviour of, inter alia, some government ministers, and some Jews, and some non-whites in our country: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/; https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/.

Or when I blog about society and politics etc: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/01/15/diary-blog-15-january-2022-including-an-outline-of-the-failure-of-the-latest-jew-zionist-attempt-to-prosecute-me/.

Neither have I seen The Guardian defending those who speak out in speeches against the Jew-Zionist lobby, people such as Jez Turner (Jeremy Bedford-Turner): see https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/may/14/ex-soldier-guilty-of-racial-hatred-after-cps-initially-declined-to-prosecute; and https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-44116895.

I have likewise seen no Guardian defence of people such as singer-songwriter and satirist Alison Chabloz (repeatedly targeted, and even imprisoned, for poking fun at some Jewish behaviour, in the manner or style of Charles Dickens: see https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10732361/Anti-Semitic-blogger-Alison-Chabloz-58-compared-Auschwitz-theme-park-jailed.html).

Military situation in Ukraine

The Daily Mail has offered analysis of the Ukraine situation not very favourable to the Russian side: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-11206285/Vladimir-Putin-no-good-options-react-Ukraine-says-military-expert-JUSTIN-BRONK.html.

Written by an analyst from the Royal United Services Institute: academic background at Westminster School, the University of York (History), and the LSE (International Relations). No direct military experience. Still, worth reading:

In less than a week, more than 3,000 square kilometres of Ukrainian territory had been liberated, massive stockpiles of ammunition, weapons and armoured vehicles captured for use by Ukrainian forces, and the entire Russian position in North-Eastern Ukraine completely destabilised.

Russian forces have not suffered such a serious and rapid military defeat on the battlefield since the Second World War.

Worse still for Putin is that fact that he has no good options for how to react now.

The majority of his potentially mobile and elite units in Ukraine are still concentrated in Kherson to the south, and are facing a serious and ongoing Ukrainian counter-offensive operation that cannot be ignored.

Furthermore, by signalling for so long that Kherson was target for liberation, Ukraine has baited Russia into accepting an attritional battle in a very militarily disadvantageous position.

The region of Kherson Oblast that Russia is trying to hold onto is on the Western bank of the wide Dnipro river.

The US-supplied long range HIMARS rocket artillery system has allowed Ukraine to effectively destroy the only two crossing points – the Antonovsky Bridge and the bridge at Nova Kahkovka – and regularly destroy the temporary pontoon bridges and ferry crossings that the Russian Army has tried to build instead.

As such, the large concentration of Russian forces defending Kherson are dependent on highly disrupted and bottlenecked supply lines, meaning that they are rapidly running low on medical supplies, food and above all ammunition.

This is an attritional battle that favours Ukraine due to the territory involved but for Putin, Kherson has to be defended politically due to its status as the one major Ukrainian city taken roughly intact during this invasion.

Now with his northern flank collapsing, Putin cannot easily withdraw elite units from Kherson, since it would risk a second major rout in the face of the ongoing Ukrainian counter-offensive operations there.

Even if he tries to withdraw some forces, the blown up bridges and frequently-struck temporary crossing points over the Dnipro mean it will be difficult to transfer heavy equipment and vehicles out of Kherson.

If his forces stay put in the south, then the majority of Russia’s usable combat power will be trapped with their backs to the river and steadily ground down by a Ukrainian force that has much better supply lines, more troops and so can sustain an attritional artillery duel for longer.

However, if the Kherson front were to collapse, it would be such a political and military disaster coming soon after the stunning defeat in Kharkiv that Russian military morale might totally disintegrate, or Putin might even find himself threatened by discontented factions within the Russian power structure at home.

[Daily Mail]

Bronk? Odd name. I wonder what are its origins.

Here is the Daily Mail map:

While “3,000 square kilometres” sounds vast, and is in fact about twice the area of Greater London, it is only 1% of the land area of Ukraine, and about 5% or so of the area controlled until recently by Russian forces.

Until now, Russian attacks on a large scale have only affected areas east of the Dnieper, areas in the Sea of Azov and Back Sea coastal belt, and —at the start of the invasion— areas around Kiev.

Until very recently, Russia has not much attacked the strategic civilian infrastructure of most of the Western part of Ukraine, or even Kiev— electrical supply, water supply, gas supply, railways, airports, major roads etc.

It may be that Putin is considering doing just that, possibly even using tactical nuclear weapons, in order to degrade the surviving economy and lifestyle of the Ukrainian population living hundreds of miles away from the battlefields of Eastern Ukraine and the South.

Whatever it takes. Whatever it takes.

On a related point, there are, even now, a few cranks, mostly aged persons, who have not woken up to the fact that the facemask nonsense is yesterday’s news (yesterday’s State-sponsored panic campaign). I was in Waitrose earlier today, and saw two people still wearing their facemask muzzles: some old bird buying a load of medicines, filthy-looking “disposable” mask half-worn; the other a loony-looking old fellow wearing his muzzle, driving out of the car park in his own car (in which he was the only occupant!).

I have also seen a few hysterical Jews on Twitter waiting to be told by “authority” that the “panicdemic” is over before they ditch the muzzles. Complete idiots.

It will be hard (I think, I hope) for the transnational conspiracy to resurrect “Covid” as a way of corralling the masses again. Too many people in the UK and across the world have woken up to it all.

I wonder what the next ploy will be. The conspiracy has already tried “monkeypox”, only for even the tame msm scribblers to discover that it affects mainly men who do anal sex, so that failed to fly with the public as a whole.

Perhaps some new and “unexpected” “variant” or whatever will “suddenly appear”, frightening the public again, but the story will have to be pretty alarming to get the bulk of the people on board again.

In the meantime, other “campaigns” have been launched, notably the “I stand with Ukraine” rubbish.

In case any readers are wondering why I now rarely repost material from Nick Griffin, the reason is because I was expelled from Twitter in 2018, at the instigation of a pack of Jews. As a result (and because I have no “sock accounts”, and because Twitter has started even more-reressive censorship), I cannot even read most of Griffin’s tweets because they are “restricted by age” etc.

Twitter has done everything possible to gag Griffin short of actually expelling him. It is made difficult to search for his tweets, and even then there is a pathetic warning notice in place.

As I predicted, Elon Musk realized that Twitter is partly, perhaps largely, a scam, and not a genuine and profitable enterprise. Musk has withdrawn and will not be buying into it.

Us and Them

A fairly hard-hitting video by Paul Joseph Watson, “@PrisonPlanet”. I do not rate Watson very highly from the strict political point of view, but his interesting vlogs have awoken many, at least from unquestioning acceptance of the propaganda pumped out by the System.

Another ghastly crime against a small child

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10310411/TWO-tragic-children-murdered-failed-system.html

This time, the crime involved crazed lesbians, one of which (the actual murderess) was from some (unspecified but looking at the photo probably Irish tinker-“traveller”) “gypsy” origin, according to the newspaper report.

Dismissed as ‘racist homophobes’, the great grandparents who tried to save Star Hobson: Toddler’s injuries were ignored FIVE TIMES by social services after gipsy lesbian stepmother ‘convinced them relatives who raised alarm were malicious’ [Daily Mail].

Is there more of this sort of terrible abuse now, as compared to, say, 1960, or 1930? I do not know. The breakdown of society, and social norms, may be part of the problem, but there is a dearth of reliable information.

The cost of the panicdemic/scamdemic “measures” and relief

Still think that the “Boris”/Sunak “furlough” giveaway, and other nonsense such as “Test and Trace”, has been cost-free to individual members of the public? North Shropshire by-election

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_North_Shropshire_by-election.

The by-election in North Shropshire is taking place tomorrow. I have not bothered to blog about it because the seat has until now been considered safe for the Conservative Party. I have just read an appreciation by a Professor Jennings: https://news.sky.com/story/north-shropshire-by-election-could-a-surprise-be-on-the-cards-12495468.

There are 14 candidates: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_North_Shropshire_by-election#Candidates.

The Conservative candidate is one Dr. Neil Shastri-Hurst, who seems to be of mixed origins, and who is both a barrister and a medical doctor (former Army doctor): see https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/tory-candidate-branded-callous-over-25530760. The election is plainly his to lose, given the history of the seat.

Conservative Party candidates have won every election for the seat since 1832 (the seat was not in existence between 1885 and 1983), and the Conservative Party vote peaked in 2019 at 62.7%.

Labour, though traditionally usually coming in in second place, came close to ousting the Conservative candidate in 1997; only about 4 points separated the top two that year.

In 2019, the Labour candidate received a vote-share of 22.1%, but the same candidate had scored 31.1% in 2017.

The Conservative Party vote-share has risen uninterruptedly since 1997, whereas the Labour vote has generally declined; the 2017 Labour vote-share was higher than in most years.

It follows that, should the “unthinkable” occur and Shastri-Hurst not be elected, the shock to the Conservative Party (and “Boris”) would be seismic.

Among the 14 candidates are Reclaim Party (the Laurence Fox vehicle), Reform UK (the latest Nigel Farage pop-up), the rump of UKIP, and Heritage, as well as Green Party and the LibDems, whose best result in effect (as Liberal Party) was a second-place 31.6% in 1983.

In the past, it was likely that serious tactical voters would go Labour rather than LibDem, Labour having the higher likelihood of success in the seat, but that is an open question this time. The bookmakers put the Conservatives and LibDems neck-and-neck, and it seems that confidence is not high in the “Boris” camp. Having said that, bookmakers are often a poor source for election predictions, their odds reflecting (mainly) bets placed, many of which are placed far from the constituency.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/dec/13/bookies-make-lib-dems-favourite-in-north-shropshire-poll-owen-paterson-byelection.

Naturally, newspaper reports such as that, showing that the LibDems have a good chance, tend to encourage tactical voting.

As to how much the Conservative vote will be impacted by the smaller quasi-conservative parties such as Reform UK, Reclaim, UKIP and Heritage, hard to say but probably no more than 20% altogether. Still, that notional 20% could be crucial.

Turnout is forecast to be low, not least because many usually Conservative voters seem to despise “Boris” and his misgovernment, and so, unwilling to vote Labour or even LibDem, may simply abstain.

My assessment? I think that the LibDems must have a chance, anyway.

The usual Conservative vote may not turn out (though many will have voted by post already), the overall turnout may be low (favouring other parties), the majority of voters in such a seat will never vote for post-2010 Labour, and the four smaller baby-con parties will tap votes which would otherwise go Con.

The LibDems are not quite as zealous about Covid “restrictions” and “measures” (such as the facemask nonsense) as are the present Government and its Labour “enablers”. That may help the LibDems.

The Conservative candidate is non-white (apparently half-English) in a 95% white English constituency, though that may be of only peripheral importance, looking at non-white “Conservative” MPs elsewhere. I had never heard of him until today but, reading about him, he seems to be very much a “head over heart” person; the voters may not warm to him.

There again, many people just want to give both the “Boris” circus and the Labour “enablers” (who have just saved the Government’s bacon yet again) a good kick. That has to favour the LibDems. Still, fairly open even now.

It will be interesting to see how misnamed “Labour” does, too. About 31% in 2017, but only 22% in 2019 (both times under Corbyn). Now, under “Covid” zealot Starmer? If Labour cannot get at least 20%, it will be significant.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Shropshire_(UK_Parliament_constituency).

[Update, 14 December 2022: well, the above analysis stood up pretty well: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_North_Shropshire_by-election. In the event, the LibDem won “a famous victory” (famous for 5 or perhaps 15 minutes) with 47.2% of the vote (2019, 10%). The Con Party candidate crashed and burned (31.6%, down from 62.7% in 2019). Labour came in third, with a mere 9.7% (down from 22.1% in 2019)].

So to get a peerage now, if you cannot donate a million to a System political party, you have to do noteworthy things such as…set up a charity or “good cause” which closes after a year or two with all its monies “gone” under suspicious circumstances, then fail to become either an MP or Mayor of London, and then…oh. that’s it, except that it helps to be black or brown these days.

[Update, 1 February 2024: Well, he was indeed made into a “plastic peer”, in the 1922 Resignation Honours List: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaun_Bailey,_Baron_Bailey_of_Paddington].

It has been a little while since antifa cheerleader Mike Stuchbery mentioned me on Twitter. Well, one “good turn” deserves another! https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/10/23/a-few-words-about-mike-stuchbery/.

At least Stuchbery has given up describing himself as “historian“. Now it is “journalist/content editor“…

A rigged contest between an incompetent government and the official opposition that is enabling most of that government’s dictatorial “Covid” laws and regulations.

I have blogged before about potential minority Labour governments which would depend on SNP support. Problem would be that the SNP would like another Independence referendum, or even actual Independence. The hypothetical minority Labour government could not of course grant the latter without a referendum. As to the former, the SNP would probably make the holding of such a referendum a sine qua non of any Commons support.

Were a Scottish Independence referendum to be held, and were the SNP to win a majority for breaking away from the UK, as soon as the break happened, there would be no SNP MPs at Westminster. That Labour government would then fall.

On the figures modelled, Labour could then govern with LibDem support, but recent elections have shown the Conservative Party far larger in the Commons than Labour. No SNP might mean no Labour government ever again. An interesting conundrum for Labour, if those modelled figures were to match electoral reality in the next 2-3 years.

That Tom Harwood person is obviously a “slithey tove”, and careerist, who is quite knowingly “controlled opposition”.

Pretty sad that a government can use the Whittys and Fergusons to give faked “credibility” to their agenda —or rather the agenda of a transnational conspiracy of which “Boris” and his clowns are mere puppets— and then use scribblers and talking heads to spread the fake news.

Strange anomaly

For some reason, far more hits on the blog today than usual; several hundred, in fact. The other unusual statistic is that two-thirds today are apparently from Germany, which is very anomalous. There are usually a few hits from Germany, but not hundreds! Deutschland erwache!?

For those who may be interested, this blog usually gets about 80% of its hits from the UK; the rest come from all over the world, though most are from the USA, Australia, and a few other countries (France, Germany, Canada, and —oddly?— China are usually represented). I have had hits from almost every country, even places such as Burkina Faso, Paraguay, and (once only, I think!) Antarctica. Perhaps Adolf, emerging from an Antarctic opening from the hollow Earth (by submarine or flying saucer?), with devotees of the Welteislehre! Only joking…

The atomization of the population, and the sophisticated tools now in use for repressing any collective political or socio-political dissent, may lead to a wave of “lone wolves”, unless a proper social-national movement comes into existence soon. That possible wave of lone wolves would be a pity, because only a social-national movement can save us.

Just imagine…that could, and in fact would, be President of the USA if Biden were to snuff it while in office! Still, look at Biden himself. Come to that, who are we to talk, looking at Boris-idiot, Gove, and the rest of that pack of clowns?

I would compare these venal MPs to members of another old-established occupation, but at least those others give their customers pleasure, and/or a presumably required service, and at least the public does not end up footing the bill.

I did not know that, not that that matters, I not being a voter in North Shropshire.

I have a better and more just idea, but do not think that I can express it. I might add that I am surprised that Griffin, a Cambridge graduate, cannot spell the word restaurateur.

Already, Oxford is very different to what it was, not in the time of Zuleika Dobson, or that of Brideshead Revisited, but to what it was in the early 1960s.

I recall going once or twice with my mother in or about 1962 to some kind of Oxfam volunteer thing on, I think, a Saturday (we lived between Reading and Wallingford, so not hugely far from Oxford). I recall tables strewn with donated clothing in some kind of church hall or the like. People were sorting them, I think.

I do remember fairly empty roads, even in Oxford itself. I think we drove past the famous meadow track where the 4-minute-mile had been broken in 1954; my mother remarked on it. Anyway, the point is that the city and surroundings seemed uncrowded, quite different to the congested Oxford of today, where driving and especially parking is a nightmare.

Inflation 5%…not very long ago it was about 2.5%. Then we have the “proposal” to increase the pension age more rapidly than had been planned before the “panicdemic”.

Still think that “furlough” payments, and the rest of the “Covid” madness, came at no cost to the individual citizen? Think again…

Incidentally, the hall where that noble performance of Bruckner’s Ninth Symphony was recorded, on 7 October 1944, was destroyed by Allied bombing only weeks, or even days, later. There is now nothing left of the Beethoven-saal but a few stones and a couple of plaques. Wikipedia has the date of its destruction as 1 January 1944, which is probably a mistake (it may have been 1 January 1945).
