Saturday quiz

Well, this week brings a convincing victory over political journalist John Rentoul; he only managed 1/10, but I trumped that with 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 3, 4, 7, and 9.

Laura Towler and Sam Melia

I included material on the blog yesterday about Laura Towler and her husband Sam Melia. I am not personally acquainted with them, and am not, as such, a supporter of their organization, Patriotic Alternative, but obviously am, as they are, supportive of European race and culture, and want Europe to have a future worth living. I also support free speech and freedom of expression.

Yesterday, Sam Melia was sentenced to 2 years in prison, a result of his having been convicted of what amounts to political offences. He will therefore probably be in prison for a year (possibly/hopefully a few months less).

I also happened to see this crowdfunder for the couple, who have a young child, with another expected soon.

No doubt Sam Melia’s solicitors and Counsel will be considering whether to appeal, at least on sentence. A tough choice, though, when there is the danger of an increase in sentence in the appellate forum.

Appalling, but I should have more (or some) respect for Toby Young and the “Free Speech Union” had he and they said a word in defence of those dissident voices criminalized because of their (perceived) political views. The little Indian money-juggler, Sunak, is going down politically. This time next year, he will probably have relocated to California or Bombay, and/or be another fake “lord” in the now-ludicrous House of “Lords”.

While it is true that a huge “Labour” majority would merely increase the repression on social-nationalism, at least there would be no nonsense about social national people having to play the “electoral” (rigged) game.

The faked pseudo-democratic “two main parties” game has to be brought down. If the Conservative Party can be almost wiped out at GE 2024, that party, half of the “two party” scam, may never recover. That in turn will lead to a vacuum which may then be filled by something new.

As for Sajid Javid, his brief political career is now at an end, unless he becomes yet another “plastic peer”. A near-loonie, who once praised the “antifa” thugs; also an acolyte of the Jewish “philosopher of selfishness”, “Ayn Rand” (Alisa Zinovyevna Rosenbaum), and so pro-Israel and pro-Jewish lobby that he even spent his honeymoon in Israel. An ex-Muslim apostate, who thinks that the UK’s multikulti society is a “success” only because he happens to have made plenty of money here.

If Israel can be weakened, its support and aid given to the worldwide Jewish lobby web may falter, enabling that worldwide web to be taken down.

George Galloway received 39.7% of the vote at Rochdale. The combined vote of the next three candidates (Independent David Tully, Labour Party, and Conservative Party) totalled only 41%: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Rochdale_by-election#Results.

The combined vote of the Labour and Conservative candidates was a mere 19.7%.

When Dan Hodges talks about Sunak “going early“, he is not referring to resignation but to Sunak calling an early General Election 2024. I had thought September or October, but it now looks as if June or July are possible months.

I just looked on the Electoral Calculus website [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html]. On present opinion polling, the Conservative Party might end up with as few as 43 MPs. Happy day, though equally I hate the idea of the Labour Party “elected dictatorship” that would inevitably result, and which might make Blair’s regime seem mild.

If those idiots attack Russia, there will be a direct response. That would presumably trigger Article 5 of the NATO Treaty, and from there it would be a very short step to a regional war, then a continental war, then an intercontinental war involving Russia and the USA. In other words, a Third World War. Terrible. Disastrous. Unnecessary.

That is enough for almost an entire year at present rates of use.

Seems speculative. If Iran does become a nuclear power, Israel will go ballistic, possibly literally.

The industrial sector is almost flat. The agricultural sector is finding it hard to export. Electrical power supply is unreliable.

Maggie Fleming Animal Hospice

A regular reader of the blog alerted me yesterday to what sounds like a wonderful animal-welfare place in Scotland.

“The Maggie Fleming Animal Hospice and The Karass Sanctuary for Farmed Animals is a wee bit of the world where animals who have more often than not had a pretty hard time of it and not known a lot of love or kindness in their lives can lay their hats and leave the bad stuff behind them. The worst bit is over and now it’s time to enjoy life, find love, and enjoy the things that make them come alive. 

I started The Maggie Fleming Animal Hospice in March 2016 in memory of my friend Maggie who died alone and in a lot of pain at the vet hospital. You can read more about Maggie here. Maggie had died alone and I thought I’d never be able to smile or laugh or love again, but even though I could hardly think for the grief, the words ‘The Maggie Fleming Animal Hospice’ came into my mind, and once the thought was there it wasn’t going to loosen its grip any. Six months and a few signs along the way later the hospice was born.

When new folk arrive, I promise them that for so long as they want to be here life will be good, and when the day comes and they are tired and they have had enough, I’ll listen even if it’s the last thing in the world I want to hear, and we’ll face it together.

The hospice and sanctuary gives life-long and end-of-life care to terminally-ill companion and farmed animals who have been abandoned in the final stages of their lives or who would otherwise have lived and died in the food system. The hospice and sanctuary Waltons-esque family – 154 at last count – is made up of hens, cockerels, sheep, pigs, cats, dogs, quail, turkeys, and as of spring 2021, nine lambs. 

Comfort, kindness, respect, compassion, dignity, joy and freedom – altogether, love – make life worth living, no matter how long we get to enjoy the ride. Whatever shape carries us through this world, in my experience of facing death with so many of my friends, ultimately in life and in death we all want the same things. We run towards  security and comfort, contentment and trust – love – and we cower away from worry, loneliness, pain and fear – the absence of love.“

Blacks are far more susceptible to schizophrenia than white people. Not “prejudice” but fact. In fact, I can remember one incident from the time when I was in chambers in London in 1993 and did a regular voluntary Saturday morning stint at a law centre in an inner city neighbourhood.

A respectable-looking black woman, apparently a nursing sister from, if I recall, Swindon, was telling me all about the abuse she had endured from her (white/English) colleagues at her place of work. It sounded terrible. Abused daily (because of “racism”, of course), and assaulted. They had even tried to inject her with something, holding her down to do so.

I asked questions to clarify what had actually happened. As the story was politely probed, the supposed nurse began to sweat slightly, and started to look uncomfortable as the inconsistencies came out. She left, eventually, when the nonsense became apparent even to her.

All in her mind, of course. No-one had assaulted her, no-one had tried to inject her.

Another time, an old black woman was convinced that her neighbours were beaming waves of some sort through the wall at her. Other allegations were also made, which might have had serious consequences had anyone believed them..

As far as I know, it has not been discovered why blacks are more likely than Europeans to be schizophrenic.

Incidentally, were the facts of yesterday’s case not so unpleasant, I should find it amusing that, while MI5 wastes so much time tracking and snooping on so called “far right” people, certain blogs etc, they all but ignore an obvious menace like the defendant above, who actually tried to gatecrash their own HQ. They did not even pass the details on to the police, it seems.

Come to think of it, I was just watching an episode of Spooks, a TV series I did not see when it was first broadcast. That led me to thoughts around what use is MI5. The damage (possibly mortal) being done to the UK is not by spies infiltrating government offices, and not by anarchists or others wanting to assassinate MPs etc, but by a tsunami of immigration, and by the cultural trashing of our mass media, publishing, schools etc. About all that, MI5 has nothing to say, and even less to do.

The cultural fall of the USA has been absolutely incredible.

The contamination, in the UK, has reached deeply into the police, the legal professions etc.

I shall be surprised if the Conservative Party has more than 100 seats this time next year; if it has over 150, I shall be astonished. If it has fewer than 50, I shall only be mildly surprised. I think between 50 and 100.

“This is the terrifying moment a teenage girl was sprayed in the face with ammonia and bleach in a random attack on her doorstep.

Shannelle Farrier was left in excruciating pain and needed her eyes washed out with several litres of water at hospital after brute David Nicholson threw the chemicals in her face. The shocking assault was captured on CCTV in the hall way of the 19-year-old’s flat in Newcastle.

She said: “I felt burning in my eyes and my mouth. I was screaming in pain yelling that something was in my eyes. I honestly thought that I was going to die and screaming out for help. It was instant, I didn’t know what was happening. They did it without rhyme or reason.

“There was a strong smell of bleach. We thought it was an acid attack. I eventually ended up unconscious. My friend had rang an ambulance who turned up in protective masks and hauled me in the shower to wash off as much of the substance as possible.“

Shannelle was rushed to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary where her eyes were swilled with litres of water to return them to a normal Ph level. She spent a total of five hours being treated before she returned home. She said: “I felt violated. The attack happened in my own home.

“After that, I went to stay with my mother for months. For me, last Christmas was totally ruined. I spent the entire time worrying about my sight. I couldn’t leave my home, I had to quit my college course as I was too nervous to be outside. I was constantly looking over my shoulder.

Nicholson, of Hauxley Drive, Gosforth, Newcastle, was arrested a week after the attack. He later admitted assault. He was sentenced to 20 months, suspended for two years with rehabilitation requirements and an alcohol abstinence requirement at Newcastle Crown Court earlier this week (December 20).

The thug was also given a five-year restraining order to protect the victim. Shannelle has now slammed the sentence, claiming he got off lightly after he intended to cause harm.“

It is hard to believe, but it is now very nearly 3 months since the Gaza conflict erupted. A truly “David and Goliath” struggle.

I happened to watch a Celebrity Weakest Link show today on TV. As usual, the “celebrities” mostly knew almost nothing. The comedian Joe Pasquale was a deserving winner, but it was funny to see Jew-Zionist “activist” Tracy-Ann Oberman [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracy-Ann_Oberman] not only struggle in places with fairly simple questions but also get voted off, and then, it seemed to me, fume (though looking as if she was trying to disguise it, at least a little) about having been voted off.

Also, I may be wrong, but it seemed to me that she looked drunk as she walked off (the so-called “Walk of Shame”). I do not say that she was drunk, but she certainly looked (to me) as if she was, looking at her gait. Just my honest opinion based on what I saw, of course.

The real “net” figure is even higher at present, closer to 600,000. I was just reading something about the 18thC German mystic and writer, Novalis [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novalis], better known in Central Europe than in the UK.

I saw this on Wikipedia:

When I saw it again, in 1978, it was still OK. I did not see Paris again until 1990. Already its character had changed in many ways, mostly negatively. I was not there again, in the city itself, until about 2008. The rot had really set in…

They should be dealt with, if not by the State then by the people directly.

A Danish volunteer in, I presume, Kiev. He cannot see (or can he?) the obvious big-picture arising from the facts all around him! Utilities and internet access only working intermittently. What does he think it will be like in, say, February 2024? Will he be trying to pump out Kiev-regime propaganda about how Zelensky, Zaluzhny etc are winning the war? Maybe not, though.

Still, he seems to be an animal-lover, and his project an animal-welfare one, so that’s good, and I hope he can help the animals suffering because of or during the conflict.

Incidentally, I am told by a reader of this blog that The Times has printed some kind of report about my recent trial. I refuse to pay even a small amount in order read the sort of rubbish put out by the contemporary “British” newspapers, so I do not know exactly what is the content of that report (I can guess, pretty much, anyway), but what strikes me is that it has apparently only appeared today, five days after the trial itself. Hardly “breaking news”.

I wonder what will happen with the newspapers in the UK. Several years ago, Rupert Murdoch gave the paper versions of newspapers only until about 2025 to survive, and certainly one rarely sees anyone buying a newspaper these days. I occasionally see an elderly person (always elderly, meaning 70+ if not 80+) buying a newspaper in Waitrose; not so often though.

The quality of journalistic language, let alone analysis, has fallen through the floor despite (?) the now almost exclusively graduate entry. Poor English, and little background knowledge, are patent.

I read somewhere that newspapers are still functioning because the online versions both take subscriptions, and make money out of advertisements; also, the mainly young “journalist” scribblers are paid very modestly. The only highly-paid scribblers now are the “celebrity” columnists, or so I read.

I myself last bought a newspaper about 25 years ago.

Hunt and Sunak had little choice, politically. Opinion polling puts the Conservative Party on about 20% for the 2024 General Election. Most of that consists of State Pensioners. Without the pensioner vote, the Conservative Party is toast. It may be that it is anyway, but being seen to pander a bit to the most obvious interest of those over 65 is a desperate way to shore up, at least to some extent, that core vote.

Incidentally, using Electoral Calculus, the difference between (A) a 20% vote and (B) a 15% vote is (A) 57 Conservative MPs (Lab 508) and (B) 19 Conservative MPs (Lab 541).

Were the Con Party able to rise to a support-level of 25%, the result might be 125 Con MPs (Lab 452); on 30%, 219 Con MPs (Lab 360).

What’s “their” excuse this time?

“The Wall Street Journal, citing an informed source: The US intelligence community doubts Israel’s ability to destroy Hamas. Israeli attacks may damage Hamas and its structure, but cannot destroy its ideology and thinking.

A congressional official said: “The most realistic goal is to buy Israel’s security for a few years, but not forever”.

The material advantages that the Israeli Jews have (compared to those of the population in Gaza) are always very evident. For example, advanced medical services.

As for these scoundrels from Verkhovna Rada, he wants to put them not even in jail but in a common hole. The military man says: “They will ban me again, they will come after me to talk to me again, but I have a gun. Come! What am I doing wrong? I am telling the truth!”

He says that Ukraine itself does not produce anything for military needs, there is not a single bullets factory, and they are sent for slaughter, into a meat grinder. At the same time, funding for the military is zero, payments to military wounded are zero, he himself waited for 6 months after being wounded for an investigation to prove that he was wounded by a mine in battle, and did not just go out into the field for a walk.

“Fuck, we are holding on just only thanks to support of the volunteers!” he says. His interlocutor says, “The most interesting thing is that you are holding on, but I don’t understand for what? Where Russia comes, pensions are higher, gasoline is cheaper, everything is being built, and men can easily travel abroad. But in Ukraine there is nothing, and they don’t let men out.”

Is that true? There are certainly quite a few people around who pose as former members of various regiments, usually the perceivedly more glamorous ones, particularly SAS. I seem to recall that a couple of Daily Telegraph journalists (genuine ex-soldiers) did a report about 25+ years ago on such people. Some had marched at the 11 November march of that year, complete with bought medals and all.

There is a more subtle kind of pseudo-military pretence, in which people who have served pretend to have been something more prestigious, as where soldiers attached or formerly-attached to the SAS in a support capacity let others think that their service was more “sharp end” than it was.

It’s silly, really. After all, a regiment, or an army, is a collective endeavour in which all parts play a role. As Napoleon said, “an army marches on its stomach“, and something as basic as catering is hugely important in keeping up morale.

Come to that, an army could not exist without civilian support. Not for long, anyway.

Well said, Griffin, though “upper class” is stretching it a bit! Murray’s parents were neither titled nor wealthy (father a civil servant, mother a schoolteacher), and Murray attended local primary, comprehensive and Roman Catholic schools in the Hammersmith and Ealing areas of London before spending a year at Eton, in the 6th form, on a scholarship.

I think that what we are seeing here is one of the latest forms of “controlled opposition”: pro-Israel, pro-Jewish-lobby, anti-immigration (superficially), and anti any real social nationalism.

Murray is there, as we just saw, in the leather club chairs, hamming up the pseudo-Establishment “cosplay”, while “Tommy Robinson”, co-incidentally (?) just released from Twitter/X jail (along with Katie Hopkins), stirs up the untutored masses against the Palestine protest marches etc.

The aim seems to be to sunder the two parts of what might have become a pro-social-nationalist but anti-Israel, and anti-Jewish-lobby, movement.

Thus the potentially “British nationalist” masses end up controlled —in ideology, or literally— by the Douglas Murrays, the Tommy Robinsons, the Katie Hopkins’s. The huge numbers of white British people who hate what Israel is doing in Gaza are outflanked, and forced into the false choice of being either pro-Israel and pro-Jewish (and superficially pro-Brit, and pro-Union Jack flagwaving), or anti-Palestine marches and also pro-immigration.

Murray retails the old “paradox of liberalism”, i.e. that a liberal society has to be illiberal towards illiberal persons or tendencies in order to preserve its liberal character.

That is frequently seen pushed out by the Jew-Zionist lobby. Indeed, it forms a secondary element in my own rapidly-upcoming trial, in which I shall stand up for free speech and freedom of expression against a Zionist-corrupted police and prosecution set-up.

The result of that paradox, as applied in practice, is that those with whom the System has no problem have almost unlimited free speech (e.g. cheap msm comedians and entertainers, corrupt pro-Israel politicos such as Nigel Farage etc), but those who pose a real, even if only germinal, threat to the System (any real social-national thinkers or activists) are jumped upon and as good as banned.

Late thought re. Suella Braverman

Obviously a Jewish-lobby puppet, like her predecessor, Priti Patel. What, though, is her gameplay?

To my way of thinking, she knows that this pseudo-“Conservative Party” government has no chance whatever it does. I think that it had, until quite recently, but not now. The obvious fact that Sunak has decided to hang on until the last possible moment (late 2024) speaks volumes to the voters. It says “I am afraid to submit myself to a general election”.

In strict Constitutional terms, Sunak and, before Sunak, Liz Truss, had no need to hold a general election, but as far as most voters are concerned, that smacks of fear and desperation.

On the above premises, what is Suella Braverman thinking? My view is that she is setting out her stall to be elected as Sunak’s successor. If she says inflammatory things and is sacked, then it says “I was too honest to stay in Sunak’s weak government”, but if she is not sacked, another message says “Sunak is a lame duck, and dare not sack me”.

Either way, Suella Braverman only has 12 months left in government, so she has little to lose.
