The patience of the Russian leadership with this increasingly-serious shadow-boxing with the Kiev regime must be wearing thin.

(ps. the “Ian” there is not me but another Ian).

I may not “support” “Tommy Robinson”, as such (because he is controlled or too-influenced by the Israel-lobby), but he has a point here, of course.

I hope so, and that that is not a smoke-and-mirrors job designed to keep massive non-European hordes in Europe.

In the present age, trains should be run by the State as a strategic part of the economy, and fares kept reasonably low. At present, in the UK, we are getting the worst of both worlds: high prices combined with poor services (often) and the taxpayers funding private profits.

Those ticket prices London-Wigan are just insane.

Labour ministers and “comms” drones imagine that winning the Makerfield by-election (assuming that they do) will effectively crush both Reform UK and Restore Britain. I doubt it, but even were that so, it will not crush the justified and growing anger of the British people (including, in coming years, those in Makerfield) at migration invasion, environmental collapse, falls in living standards (and all other standards) etc.

Incidentally, “GOTV” = “Get Out The Vote”. Labour is throwing everything at this by-election. Desperate.

As said…desperate…

A few drone strikes, however destructive, on Moscow or other cities, will not change the arithmetic in the overall battlefield space.

I see Russian tweets etc claiming capture of villages, small settlements etc; from the Ukrainian side, not even that. The claimed Ukrainian advances must be either over depopulated areas of farmland and woodland or, at least as likely, non-existent.

The elephant in the room, surely, is the fact that Putin and the Russian leadership are not using more than a few percent, maybe less than one percent, of their potential destructive power. Russia has 7,000 nuclear weapons.

Would seem to indicate, if typical, that Russia is losing only 1 soldier killed for every 15 Ukrainian soldiers.

[“Labour has no right to win Makerfield, by @bnhwalker.

If Labour wins in Makerfield it will have been down to one man: Andy Burnham. In the most recent local elections every one of the individual council wards in Makerfield went Reform’s way. Nigel Farage’s party secured 50 per cent of the vote compared to Labour’s 25 per cent. Labour has never done so badly in Wigan. Whatever the capacities of one candidate, Reform should be winning it. The Makerfield constituency polls put Andy Burnham ahead by between 5-12 points.”]

There are 650 constituencies in the UK and Northern Ireland. I do not believe that any Burnham Bounce will swing (even in 2026) more than 50 of them. In any case, once (if it happens) Burnham is “crowned” PM, he will be faced with the same issues as Starmer-stein. Will he have better answers, or outcomes? I very much doubt that.

By 2029, this country will be even angrier and/or more desperate.

[“People vote in extraordinary ways in by-elections. They’ll even vote tactically for a party they can’t stand if it achieves the goal of a bloody nose to the party they backed last time. Honestly the way Labour has flooded Makerfield and the shocking machinations of Simons & Burnham would have me moving from abstention to considering in the privacy of the ballot booth a way of holding my nose to deliver a bloody nose. And as an ex-Tory I’m prepared to give LDs or Labour a hearing, I’m much closer to them on a few things than any of the (very) right-wing parties, that speaks to my natural and growing Burnham antipathy. The Our Andy stuff has been insufferable even from a distance.”]

UK Government aggression towards Russia is veering into the territory of outright war. Supplying the Kiev regime with 150,000 drones (presumably funded by the British taxpayer, at that) is tantamount to the UK taking a very active and direct part in the war. Mad.

As said before, Britain has never had any substantial connection with Ukraine, not in the thousand years of Ukraine’s history as effectively part of Russia, and not in its mere 35 years as a corrupt and shambolic notionally independent state. None.

Now the anti-British “British” government is launching what amounts to a military campaign against Russia in order to support the corrupt and brutal Jew-Zionist/Ukrainian-thug regime in Kiev. People should be asking why…

Were I a resident of Kiev, I should be packing my bags. Frankly, if this continues, the same might be said of London.

Exactly.

Exactly.

As said, the absurd thing is that, if Labour wins the by-election, nothing in fact changes and, outside the Manchester area, I doubt that Burnham is much of a gamechanger electorally.

I just read the brief Iran-US agreement. It is 90% in Iran’s favour, if not 100%. After 60 days, fees chargeable by Iran to all other states’ shipping to ship through the Strait of Hormuz; Iran oil exports to start again; Iranian assets to be unfrozen worldwide; a USD $300 BILLION fund (payable presumably by the USA) for the reconstruction of Iran (after the American and Israeli bombing and missile attacks); an Iranian pledge not to develop nuclear weapons (a promise already in place before the war anyway).

The USA has learned a lesson. Do not let the Jews (whether in Israel or the USA itself) dictate your foreign policy. Do not let the tail wag the dog.

A strategic disaster for both the USA and Israel, and the fault for it lies with Netanyahu and Israel, and with Trump. A TV personality and speculative businessman does not a statesman nor a strategist make, in most cases.

F.O.! Hegseth, you idiot— and take your Jews and (now-demented) Trump with you.

Something that, as I have noticed this week, people across the political spectrum agree upon. A horrible crime even in a country of (now) often horrible crimes.

That case also makes it clear that children of any age should never be condemned to be adopted by gay men in performative “marriage” “cosplays” (same goes for crazed lesbian couples).

Our animal friends. It is good to see something natural and pure after so much human degeneracy.

All roads lead to Rome, but…yes.

…or Russian, for that matter.

(in fact, there was never a serious possibility of German forces invading the UK in or around 1940, and there is no possibility of Russia taking over the UK in 2026).

Apparently an AI fake.

[Update, later same day: some msm outlets are now saying it is genuine. If so, mad…].

Incidentally, that “Crewkerne Man” is none other than Joshua Bonehill, or Bonehill-Paine, who used to put himself forward, about a decade or so ago, as a coming sort-of “national socialist”-style “Fuhrer” of the UK.

Bonehill-Paine tried to organize anti-Jew marches and would-be semi-pogroms in Golders Green and Central London (I think that 6 or 7 idiots actually turned up).

Bonehill-Paine was then, after a number of both political and non-political criminal convictions, imprisoned for many months, over a year in fact. In prison, he turned, or was turned, or brainwashed (?), from “antisemitism” to Judaeo-philia.

“Bonehill-Paine first questioned his antisemitic views during his second year in prison, after reading the Bible, and enrolled on a deradicalisation course via his probation officer.[4]” [Wikipedia]

Q.E.D.

Now, recently filmed looking 30+ years older than he did only a decade ago, he is apparently a supporter of the washed-up “Conservative” Party, is ludicrously pro-Jew and pro-Israel, and is even promoted by Israeli media outlets (as seen on his Twitter/X banner).

Very very strange.

Unbelievable.

Mirabile dictu! I actually agree with Ed Davey on something…

Incredible that a supposed “top businesswoman” (Deborah Meaden) can be so dim; there again, it is a common fallacy that the very wealthy (even those who inherited riches) must somehow be highly intelligent, and very knowledgeable. Often, not so.

As for multikulti “Conservative” drone Fraser Nelson, I have written about him on the blog in the past. Nothing he writes is worth reading.

The very terminology is outdated. “Working class” is almost as passé as what Ernest Bevin once called “the jolly old proletariat“.

As noted on the blog for several years, drones have changed the face of warfare, especially infantry warfare. This is only the start.

In the end, Burnham will be same-old, even if he runs Starmer out of town.

At the 2024 General Election, and in very rough figures, for every 20 eligible voters 8 did not vote at all; 4 out of the 20 voted Labour, 3 voted Conservative, 2 voted Reform, 2 voted LibDem, and 1 voted Green.

Starmer-Labour, as I blogged 2 years ago, only had the active electoral support of a third of those that actually voted in 2024, and a mere fifth of all of those eligible to vote.

Now? About half of the 2024 figures.

Opinion polling suggests that Labour, even under Burnham, would be the choice of only around 26% of voters were there a GE any time soon.

By 2029, Burnham-Labour, if Burnham does take over, will probably be running in the polls at around 20% at best. Will Labour try to change the rules, as they are presently doing in Manchester re. the mayoral by-election?

There is no “Parliamentary road” for us, but elections may yet be a peripheral part of the way forward.

Our animal friends.

Yes, foxes kill chickens, such is their nature, so just ensure your chickens etc are protected, that’s all. Good fences make good neighbours.

Saturday quiz

Well, only 4/10 this week, but still enough to beat (again) political journalist John Rentoul, who scored only 2/10. I knew the answers to questions 2, 8, 9, and 10. I might also have got question 4, had I thought for longer, but there it is.

We in Europe must regain the self-confidence to proclaim that, yes, there is a hierarchy of cultures, a hierarchy of religions, and a hierarchy of races as well, and that our Western white European cultures stand objectively higher than those of Africa, Asia etc.

Some cultures, some races, are relatively superior; others are relatively inferior.

Britain has gradually become a kind of disguised police state or repression-of-opinions state, and malicious special-interest groups (such as the notorious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”) have been taking advantage of bad laws passed in the past 50 years, but particularly the past 25 under the Blair-Brown governments but also by the government of Theresa May, another politician totally in the Jew-Zionist/Israel pocket (and a likely half-Jewess herself).

I am not a football supporter. I had to look up the name Joey Barton to be sure that he was somehow connected to football (think I had vaguely heard the name), and I had certainly no idea who were Lucy Ward and Eni Aluko; never heard of either of them (I do know, of course, who that ghastly over-paid msm creature Jeremy Vine is).

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/nov/07/joey-barton-guilty-sending-offensive-posts-social-media

Having now read the “grossly offensive” posts (“offensive” being OK, “grossly offensive” not OK…and there is no legal distinction save as to consequences, and no usable definition or method of separating the two), I personally find a few rather silly, but that is no reason for someone to be hauled before a Crown Court.

What we have here, in my opinion, is a mass media class, over-paid, over-privileged, unwilling to accept criticism. If any of them want to punish defamatory or otherwise wrongful statements about them, the laws of libel (etc) are there to help them. Civil law, not criminal.

I should be interested to know the composition of the jury. I dare say that, had this been an American trial (which could never happen anyway, by reason of the U.S. Constitutional free speech protections), there would be a jury selection process enabling the defence lawyers to object to, for example, blacks, women, certain football supporters, people who are fans of the “victims” etc. None of that happens now in England.

Maybe Dan Hodges is unaware of my experiences in this regard (despite my prosecution/persecution having been covered by the BBC, Sky News, Daily Mail etc…)

Nothing that a dozen rounds from the policewoman’s or policewomen’s pistol(s) would not solve.

Put it up against a wall. Wall. Squad. End.

Legal note: English judges have repeatedly underlined the fact that so-called “holocaust” “denial” is not a crime in the UK; neither is “antisemitism”, as such.

[persecuted satirist and singer-songwriter, Alison Chabloz, at the piano]

Yes, Reform UK is underwhelming, but I hope that voters next May all vote Reform in order to stamp on the “two main ” (System) parties that have brought England to its knees in the gutter.

Don’t forget which groups have always favoured the invasion. In particular, one group…

If only…

Wouldn’t it be great?…

Those tweets refer to a case in libel being brought by one Raffi Berg, a BBC Jew journalist, against the faux-revolutionary writer and Guardian journalist, Owen Jones.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/raffi-berg-221476194/

There have been numerous allegations by various people that the said Berg has worked alongside or had considerable connection to both MOSSAD and the CIA. Does not seem unlikely, but I myself have no idea whether any such allegations are actually true.

Much material from the blog, and about the egregious Lewis, can be found via the blog search box, by typing in “Mark Lewis” or”Mark Lewis Lawyer”.

The madness of this country (and much of the “Western” world) in 2025

I was just reading the Wikipedia entry for Great Expectations, the novel by Dickens. At the end of the Wikipedia piece, there is noted a show by Eddie Izzard based on part of the novel. However, it is described as a “one-woman” show by “her“. Izzard is of course male…

The Wikipedia entry for Izzard also plays along with the fantasy or falsity: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Izzard.

It occurs to me that this constant drip-drip of lies posing as the truth is having a very bad effect on this country. Another example, long-running, has been the 1940s “holocaust” farrago, “gas chambers” etc etc.

Yes. The bimbo on the Good Morning Britain sofa, whoever she is, simply and patronisingly “humoured” him, and quickly closed him down before he said anything to the nationwide audience that might be really critical of the sick, decadent, multikulti Britain that now exists.

Yes. That is a very partial view. Fresh vegetables and fruits, when available, were unrationed. Some vegetables were abundant and actually had to be promoted by ads; potato, carrot etc. Fresh fish was unrationed (though in short supply), and bread was unrationed until after the war. Beer was unrationed, when available.

Eating out, for those who could afford it, avoided the rationing regime: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rationing_in_the_United_Kingdom#Restaurants.

Naturally, the people who lived on country estates were best-placed to weather rationing. Game birds, and fish, were unrationed, and people living on a country estate would have ready access to eggs and other foodstuffs (and of course could grow fruits and vegetables in kitchen gardens or fields). Such people would also often have extensive wine cellars, so would have been able to drink French (and German!) wines bought before 1940.

I recall that the Cornish country house of which I had a lease (about 22 or so years ago) had quite large wine cellars (unstocked when I was there) which brought to mind the horror film adaptations of the works of Edgar Allan Poe:

That house also had, at the time of WW2, kitchen gardens, greenhouses etc.

Nuts, berries etc would also have been available.

The big shortage would have been butter (olive oil was all but unknown to most British people in the 1930s and 1940s and anyway unavailable). Sugar was another big shortage, of course.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rationing_in_the_United_Kingdom

Those hardened idiots will simply hunker down into their comfort zone. Corbyn is the archetype.

In the USA, it was once said (1960s/1970s) that “a conservative is a liberal who just got mugged“. Maybe the UK’s 2025-onwards equivalent will be “a social-nationalist woman may be a former ‘antiracist’ woman with a placard supporting ‘refugees’ but who got robbed, or raped, or both, by a non-white migrant-invader“.

Oh…and actually English/British, not requiring a passport to prove his nationality…

…and not regarding it as his job to snoop upon, “monitor”, or control the opinions and published views of the British people.

Nadia Whittome MP

Happened to see an MP, not previously known to me, on a TV news show. A kind of half-caste (I now see, from Wikipedia, of mostly Indian origins), and in favour of unlimited mass immigration.

[“The Founding Fathers of the United States restricted citizenship to “free white persons” in the Naturalisation Act of 1790, which was signed into law by George Washington. This law meant that those of Anglo-Saxon stock and of European backgrounds such as Germans could become citizens. For example the same Congress had German-born Speaker Frederick Muhlenberg and John Jay who praised “one united people” in Federalist No. 2, his own blood was French Huguenot. Whilst Jefferson admired Anglo-Saxon law, he invited German settlers to Virginia. Franklin griped about “Palatine Boors” flooding Pennsylvania, but then backed the very act that let them naturalise. The 1790 census?? 19% German, 10% Scotch-Irish, Dutch in NY, French in SC. Whilst zero state constitutions demanded Anglo-Saxon descent, it was preferable. The main requirement was being of European stock. So the evidence provided here proves the United States was never meant to be a “melting pot”, that term was created by the jew Israel Zangwill in 1908. For a matter of fact prior to his assassination Abraham Lincoln intended to have the black slaves sent to either Liberia or Central America. This was due to them not fitting in with the ethnic makeup of the American people. It is insane to claim the U.S. was meant to be a “multi racial” society. The Founding Fathers and many presidents up until at least Abraham Lincoln intend for the United States to a ethnically Anglo-Saxon and European nation. I repeat again, it was never meant to be a “melting pot” and never should have been like it is today.”]

Quite. No point in “stopping boats” if they then all come in “legally”…

[“The Republican Party has betrayed the interests of its voters, literally going crazy over Israel. Seriously. What’s the deal? This country has a population of 9 million, zero resources, zero values. Understand correctly, I have nothing against Israel, but, damn… We have 350 million of our own citizens, we are the number one country in the world, yet all the congressmen from morning till night keep talking to us about Israel. What the hell? Who did Trump meet first after winning the election? Bibi. And then again with Bibi. And then again. And suddenly all the attention of the administration and the American government focused on Iran. War with Iran? Seriously? Netanyahu: “We want to change the regime in Iran. At least I want to. In Iran, and at the same time in Iraq!”. – How many Americans has Iran killed in your lifetime? Zero. Really, zero. And how many of your acquaintances have died from drug overdoses? Quite a few. Maybe one of your relatives, some nephew, died that way. It pisses me off that our leadership spends all their time and all my money for the benefit of another country.“}

Morning music

On this day a year ago

I was just looking at that blog post from a year ago. As usual, quite a few tweeters quoted have had their Twitter accounts removed in the intervening year, the result of the burgeoning censorship on Twitter and particularly in the UK.

Apart from that, a few comments of mine have aged well, if I myself say so:

The endless “lockdowns” are a way of disguising what is really happening, i.e. the shutdown of large parts of the Western world for other reasons. It has to do with the promotion of the Pacific Rim (especially China) and North America (regardless of surface hostility). It is also connected with the next 33-year cycle starting in 2022. NWO/ZOG.

[this blog, 14 October 2021]

and

In the same way, if the NHS and care system for the elderly is wound down and underfunded, the excuse is now “it’s because of Covid”. Of course it is…

[this blog, 14 October 2021]

…and now we see, also, “Ukraine” and/or “Putin” being cited as the reason(s) why, increasingly, both goods and services are not available, or becoming less available, in the UK.

I have always said that, however inadequate, unpleasant or incompetent the person who holds the office of Prime Minister, there remains the concept of respect for that office as occupied by that person.

Unfortunately, the above idealistic idea has been pretty well tested to destruction over the past decade. David Cameron-Levita and Theresa May damaged the concept by their incompetence, but worse damage has been done since, under “Boris” Johnson and now Liz Truss.

Hard to believe that the office of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, once occupied by, inter alia, Pitt, Peel, Gladstone, Lloyd George, Churchill, Attlee, Macmillan, Harold Wilson, Heath, Thatcher etc could in recent years be occupied by a part-Jew Levantine chancer such as “Boris” Johnson or, now, a woman who became an MP mainly on her back, and who has become Prime Minister via “a series of unfortunate events”.

Not that the prime ministers of history were unalloyed good news. Even the grandest or most solid of them were often, arguably, flawed or plain wrong ideologically or in terms of decisions made. None of those I have cited, though, looked completely out of place, or ludicrously over-promoted to their office. That is where we now are.

I see that my prediction, on her first day or so in office, that Liz Truss would probably not last beyond Easter 2023 or even, perhaps, Christmas 2022, is now echoed by msm commentators, Conservative Party MPs etc. Always the Cassandra…[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassandra].

A thought out of season

As we know, the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan [https://vk.com/@judi1964-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-stealth-genocide-against-the-peoples; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan] provides for importation of vast numbers of “blacks and browns” into Europe, including the UK, with the aim that those immigrants and/or their offspring will mate with whites (especially black men with white women, as seen in the propaganda presented as TV drama, “soaps”, TV ads etc) and resulting, ultimately, in a so-called “coffee-coloured” population easily ruled and manipulated by a Jewish or mixed Jew/White European element. As with —among many many others— “Boris” Johnson, Theresa May, David Cameron-Levita, George Osborne, Zac Goldsmith, the Rothschilds etc.

We have seen recently the attempt to make the entire highest level of government, the Cabinet, non-white. The apex of that would to instal a non-white as Prime Minister. That, of course, would rub the nose of the British people in the dust of their subjugation by Jews and (other) non-whites.

I believe that the System tried to install ex-Goldman Sachs employee and ultra-wealthy Indian, Rishi Sunak, as Prime Minister. The power elite probably believed that, given a choice between Sunak, with his seeming intelligence and Winchester College education on the one side, and obviously ignorant and silly Liz Truss on the other, the rank-and-file members of the Conservative Party would inevitably choose Sunak.

It must have been a shock to the conspirators when it turned out that 57.4% of those mostly elderly members of the Conservative Party had actually voted for Liz Truss.

What sank Sunak was not one factor but several, among which the most important were probably his vast wealth (married to the daughter of the richest Indian in India) and therefore perceived inability to understand “the people”, his dark skin and ethnic origin and, last but not least, the fact that Sunak had reneged on the Con Party pledge to retain the State Pension “triple lock”, most of the members of the Conservative Party being pensioners.

For the conspiracy, the election of Liz Truss presented a problem.

Problem: how to install Sunak despite his having lost the party election.

Solution: depose Liz Truss, who in any case obviously has no ability or proper competence.

Method: immediately seize any chances given to make her evident incompetence seem even worse by creating a storm around her both economically and politically.

Not that I favour Liz Truss. She should never have become more than a backbench MP, if that. The same goes for her Cabinet members.

Once a society starts with that kind of nonsense, there is no end to it until a supervening power steps in. However, one amusing aspect is that “the revolution devours its own children” quite often.

That whole “no platform” stuff was invented by the precursors of the “antifa” element, and behind that is the Jewish element, as one sees with the Jewish organizations “Hope not Hate”, “Campaign Against Antisemitism” etc. If someone they, er, hate is going to speak somewhere, they organize a campaign by Jews and/or “useful idiots” (“antifascists”, stupid and manipulated students, black activists etc), and venue managements get letters, emails, telephone calls etc demanding that the event be cancelled, and so on. David Icke is but one example.

My own longest train journey cannot compete— a not entirely voluntary trip Vienna-Ostend, less than 24 hours; in the mid-1980s. I once, in the early 1980s, nearly made a much longer journey— Tabriz (Iran) to Leningrad (Soviet Union) but in the end it never happened.

Ha ha! If woolly-head is sacked, will that be a record for shortest time as Chancellor? Must be.

Soft you; a word or two before you go. I have done the state some service, and they know’t.

No more of that. I pray you, in your letters, When you shall these unlucky deeds relate, Speak of me as I am; nothing extenuate, Nor set down aught in malice: then must you speak Of one that loved not wisely but too well; Of one not easily jealous, but being wrought Perplex’d in the extreme; of one whose hand, Like the base Indian, threw a pearl away Richer than all his tribe; of one whose subdued eyes, Albeit unused to the melting mood, Drop tears as fast as the Arabian trees Their medicinal gum.

Set you down this; And say besides, that in Aleppo once, Where a malignant and a turban’d Turk Beat a Venetian and traduced the state, I took by the throat the circumcised dog, And smote him, thus.”

[Update, same day: seems that Kwarteng’s brief tenure, 38 days, is in fact not a record, and that three Chancellors of the Exchequer have served for even briefer times, the briefest being one Abbott, in 1827, he serving for only 28 days: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Abbott,_1st_Baron_Tenterden].

Ha. See blog, above.

What protected Liz Truss up to now (or very recently, anyway) from being exposed as a horrible person who is also completely incompetent? Her very obscurity, I suppose.

Part of the problem with Liz Truss is that she has been trying to copy the “Margaret Thatcher”, ideologically-driven, “conviction politician”, but without actually being one.

She has no real ideology, no real convictions, just empty ambition. She has plotted and planned and strived, and finally reached the prize of her political career, only to see it turn to ashes in her hands. Greek tragedy territory.

Well, that was quick. Only hours ago, woolly-head was saying “I’m going nowhere“, and now he has been dismissed with a kick to the ****.

So now the question is, will Liz Truss follow woolly-head into the wilderness, or will she try to cling on? Her character (careerist, chancer, unprincipled) would seem to suggest the latter, but it may be that she will be induced to stand down “for the good of Country and Party” or some such formula.

That, of course, would imply a general election, but Conservative MPs might try, one more time, to pick a winner in the 2 years left of the Parliament. If a general election were to be held now or soon, it might just be the end of the Conservative Party as it has been for the past century or more; the party reduced to a few dozen MPs.

Liz Truss has scarcely had time to enjoy the more private fruits of being PM, such as weekends at Chequers.

One might characterize the situation as Liz Truss “resigning with honour”, though that scarcely hits the spot, as against being forced out. She might well decide to fight to stay on, thinking that she has nothing to lose (and don’t think that, for her, this is about anything other than her own personal interests— a characteristic she shares with “Boris”-idiot.

For once, I actually agree with Tom Harwood.

That bastard stuck himself to the road. He wanted to inconvenience everyone. He knew what he was doing. Let him suffer.

As for those smug, often smirking 60+ years old eco-nut men and women often photographed doing the same or similar, they have been very lucky that (so far) no member of the public has kicked them in the head.

Is NATO seriously intending to send armies into Ukraine? Even if under “EU” flag, that will be seen as an act of war by the Russian side.

I was interested to read that Macron has made it clear that France will never use nuclear weapons except as retaliation for a direct attack on France.

Macron may just have saved la belle France from nuclear annihilation.

The role of France in European culture is to preserve it. I therefore applaud the attitude displayed, i.e. not to get dragged into the Russia-Ukraine war.

Naturally the French police and DST (or whatever it is now called) will be aware. The French want migrant-invaders out of France, so if that means aiding them to invade the UK…

Long before the present migration-invasion crisis, when I was in Calais waiting for a ferry, in 2000, I had a drink near the hotel de ville, and asked the bar owner about the migrants (few in number, and just being reported on at that time).
