It occurred to me yesterday, as I observed both dissenters and “rabbits” (eager or very compliant facemask-wearers) in Waitrose, that there is a strong psychological aspect to this facemask nonsense.
When masked, you cannot much express your feelings, whether by smiling or scowling. The people are distanced from each other by the mask(s), as they are also by the 6-foot “social distancing”, another government diktat which is without much independent scientific backing.
There may be, behind the scenes, a long-term psychological experiment or programme being carried out here, carried out on the public at large, in order to produce results later on, perhaps decades or even centuries in the future.
When a candidate-freemason is initiated as a member of a masonic lodge, certain things are done to him: he is blindfolded, a cold sword is placed on his flesh etc. This is done, beyond the outward symbolism, in order to inculcate definite sensations in the feeling and will of the candidate. There is an analogy to be made between what that masonic ceremony inculcates by way of conditioning a candidate, and what is being done to the general public by way of conditioning using “social distancing”, facemask wearing etc. Avoidance of others, even relatives, even non-resident girlfriends/boyfriends; the wearing of masks which show little or no emotion; the staying 6 feet clear of others. All these are not without effect, possibly profound and longlasting effect.
I noticed when in the local Waitrose (a couple of miles from my humble home) that people, who otherwise may be perfectly sensible, steer their shopping trolleys or carts around me so as to keep as near to the silly “6 feet” or “2 metres” distance as they can (because, after all, I might have the plague…)! Rabbits.
Many if not most probably realize that, in general, Boris Johnson is an idiot, his ministers stupid clowns, and “SAGE” ludicrously misnamed; yet there they all are, wearing masks, “social distancing”, in one part of their minds pretending to themselves that there is real danger around, while they (at least the more intelligent) must know that that is simply not so.
Was I myself wearing a mask? Sadly, yes, because without the mask, the Handmaid’s Tale militia that Waitrose now have, loitering outside their stores, will not let you in (though they have no power to do anything more beyond chucking you out if a manager-person tells them to do that). I half-wear the mask (the smallest ones purchaseable), leaving my nose free, and make sure to express my dissent to any staff I encounter who know me by sight (in fact, so far all have agreed with me).
You sometimes see people on Twitter etc saying that, were they to live under some repressive regime, they would be part of some “resistance” movement. Yeah, right! They will not even question the most absurd excesses of this”virus” nonsense, such as suddenly wearing masks in all shops, but not in pubs or offices, and despite the fact that “the virus”, as a serious health threat, peaked in March/April and is now ebbing away.

Coronavirus madness
I wonder how long it will be before the public (and, it seems, government) understand that, in the absence of cure, vaccine or removal of the conditions that spawned it (as with Yellow Fever and mosquitos), you cannot actually stop or wipe out a disease, or a virus, by means of measures such as shutting down shops, stopping people from socializing, preventing travel, making the population wear facemasks or muzzles etc. Maybe never.
The most that can be done is to delay the “wave”. In the UK, that would have involved stopping most incoming flights, quarantining the few passengers arriving, closing pubs, nightclubs and any crowded gatherings such as race meetings. Also, preventing more than a small number of people getting onto buses and Underground/Overground trains. I am talking here about what should have been done back in March or April of this year.
Instead of the above, the government of Boris-idiot closed down much of the economy, propped up much of the rest with vast amounts of borrowed money, and trashed civil rights in the process.
Now we see that this government of (sinister) clowns has insisted that the public wear (probably useless or even dangerous) facemasks to shops (though not in offices or in pubs!), and seems intent on continuing the “fear” propaganda despite the damage which it continues to do to the UK economy.
The fact is that what has happened is that “the virus” is still around, here and there, people continue to get it, most of those people have no or few symptoms (and so are only discovered via useless testing), and the few who do have serious symptoms and so need medical intervention (there is no “treatment”, amounting to “cure”, as such) are taken to hospital anyway.
This is a condition which actually affects, in any serious way, a very small part of the population, perhaps 1%, and which kills far fewer. Indeed, most of those most affected by it and in real danger of death have already been killed by the virus, often sent to their deaths by the government and NHS managers, who wanted to protect NHS staff and some patients, and so shoved the most vulnerable, including patients actually infected, to the very places where more deaths would be caused readily— care homes.
In the times of Stalin, the “experts” and ministers responsible would have been shot.
What has to happen now is that everything has to open up, the economy and society has to start functioning again, and the facemask nonsense has to be done away with. If the Government etc are unwilling to do that, they are either incompetent or malicious, or both.

The CAA goblins write (incorrectly) about Alison Chabloz’s recent appeal victory: “Ms Chabloz was then charged with having breached the conditions of her suspended sentence and was found guilty. The trial followed contact between Campaign Against Antisemitism’s lawyers and the National Probation Service. Ms Chabloz is appealing the decision, and the appeal has been delayed for logistical reasons, including owing to the pandemic.”
In fact, that had nothing at all with “the virus” or anything “logistical”, but was because the defence had demanded (and the presiding judge ordered) disclosure of documentation, so that the judge could be sure that Alison’s prosecution for breach was not the result of political pressure on David Gauke (the then-MP, expenses freeloader and, at the time, if ludicrously, “Minister of Justice”), the CPS and the —at the time— privatized probation carpetbaggers.
The CPS were unable or unwilling to comply with the above, and so decided (with much weaselling) not to offer any evidence against Alison Chabloz. She won; the CAA troublemakers lost.

I have not been a practising barrister for 12 years now (2008), and (thanks to “UK Lawyers for Israel”, a group largely identical with the “CAA” in Venn diagram terms) have been disbarred since October 2016. In addition, I was never really a criminal barrister (though I did quite a number of criminal cases both in Crown Court and “the mags” in the early 1990s), so I always hesitate to pronounce on the criminal law or criminal procedure. Having said that, I find this prosecution, and the police bail aspect, puzzling.
For one thing, I cannot see that anything allegedly said by Alison Chabloz (as quoted by the “CAA”) could possibly be “grossly offensive” in the first place.
It is very strange that the CPS have brought this prosecution. Does it have anything to do with the fact that the CPS and CAA have just been knocked down in relation to the recent appeal victory?
Is the prosecution properly within time limitation(s)? I wonder…
Secondly, the purported Internet ban, laid down by the police, not by any court, is surely unlawful in the circumstances. Contra human rights both in itself and in terms of its duration. Perhaps Alison Chabloz will have that removed by application to a court.

Coronavirus panic/scam
In the local authority area where I live (a quite large area of nearly 300 square miles in coastal and near-coastal Southern England, rural and semi-rural, with a few small towns and villages), the population is about 180,000 people. The “R” number has been varying below 1 and 2 (ie. number of cases per 100,000 population). In the past week, 1.8. There have been, therefore, about 2 or 3 confirmed new cases in the past week. Out of 180,000 people…
When you consider that only one out of dozens, perhaps a hundred, new cases will die from this condition, you can see that, in this particular area, perhaps one or two people are likely to die from “the virus” over the course of the next year! Sad for those people and their relatives, but not repeat not a reason to shut anything down, nor to make the population wear facemasks.
This is, thankfully, not the Plague.

By the time that the case came up before the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal, it having been decided that my (in the end, only) 5 supposedly “grossly offensive” tweets (out of between 150,000-200,000 tweets and retweets!) merited my being “tried”, “baroness” Deech had in fact been replaced by a different Chair, though only by a former UK Ambassador to Israel, who was extremely pro-Israel and extremely pro-Jewish interests!
I raised the question of perceived bias (in the decision to take me before a Tribunal) at the hearing itself , but the (generally reasonably fair) retired Circuit Judge chairing the 5-person panel told me at least twice that whatever the merits of my claim that the decision-making process was flawed (because, as I submitted, “justice must not only be done but be seen to be done” and “no man can be a judge in his own cause“), it was not relevant , because what mattered was the justice of the hearing itself…
With all respect to that judge, I disagree. If a person is only “tried” because a biased process decided that he should be tried, then he is on the back foot from the start, no matter how “fair” the hearing is.
The above, in my view, is so even if “baroness” Deech took no part in the decision to haul me before the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal, though I find it hard to believe that she was, at the material time, unaware that an organization in which she was a major figure (UK Lawyers for Israel) was complaining officially about me to another organization which she headed and for which she had responsibility (the Bar Standards Board).
As a matter of fact, the hearing in October 2016, though generally fair in the way it was conducted, was wrong about, inter alia, whether my five tweets (the Jews had originally complained about many dozens!) were in fact “grossly offensive”.
In fact, I could have appealed the findings of fact and/or the disbarment penalty, but, having ceased Bar practice in 2008, eight years before I was “tried” and disbarred, it would have been almost pointless. I did not care, though it does deprive me of being able to lunch at my (former) Inn when in London, which is a nuisance; I rarely visit London these days anyway.

Actually, the BSB did write to me a couple of years after I was disbarred, saying that I should have had the right to challenge the allocation of my case to a 5-person panel instead of a 3-person panel (only a 5-person panel can disbar) and that I could do so if I wished. Finally, I took a look at the composition of the present BSB (the actual governing board): 13 members (a coven? Only joking…), out of which 3-4 Jews. The kind of disproportion one sees everywhere.

One of the reasons why charities are such a “rotten borough” in the UK is because their funding (in some cases) comes only partly from members of the public, but also comes from government funds, or from the National Lottery (the “Good Causes Fund”).
In other words, the charity sector is pervaded by the sort of Common Purpose drones you see on Twitter. This is why you get quite mediocre people (eg at Save the Children) heading charities and being paid £300,000 a year. It does highlight the poverty of thought in and around government that the idiots actually seem to believe that forcing everyone to be muzzled or masked will increase footfall in shops! The reasoning seems to be that shoppers will feel more confident and safe. No. It’s like when you are at, say, Heathrow, and smug, stupid-looking police are stalking around with their Heckler & Koch MP5 and other weapons. Does that make you feel “safer”? No. It makes you think “what might happen in the event of a terrorist incident?“

Reverting to the facemask curse, my guess is that most people will be shopping online for things. The shops and department stores are going to be empty or almost empty because of the facemask nonsense, because of the residual thought that they just might pick up “the virus” (unlikely though that is) and finally because, soon at least, most people are going to have a great deal less money to spend in shops.

I am not one of those who thinks that “the virus” does not exist. It exists. How it started to spread we do not know, whether accidentally, by Chinese negligence or design, or whatever. Once you get beyond there, however, things become very strange. It is “as if” this situation has been used by powerful forces to impose control on some societies.
We know that, so far, in the UK, only about 1,500 people have died entirely as a result of Coronavirus. Another 45,000 seem to have died with it, meaning that they had other very serious health problems and were “pushed over the edge” by getting the virus. Most were very elderly. Even then, the figure for deaths is somewhere around one death for every 1,600 or 1,700 people in the population. Most people either do not get the virus, or show no or very minor symptoms.
Anecdotal evidence is always limited in its applicability, of course, but I personally have not knowingly encountered anyone who has, or has had, this virus. Indeed, I know no-one who knows anyone who has, or has had, the virus.
I happened to have a word with my doctor recently, and in the course of a short conversation, I asked whether he and his colleagues had been busy with virus cases. He said that he and his colleagues had been busy with the usual range of cases but that the whole practice (about a dozen GPs) had seen only one patient with the virus, if I understood him correctly. He also noted that the whole area had had few cases.
Naturally, it is hardly surprising that one might never (knowingly) encounter anyone with this virus, in a situation where the vast majority of people either never get the virus or do get it but show no, or few, symptoms.
Now we look at the official response. The whole society, pretty much, closed down. People imprisoned in their homes (almost…yes, we were “allowed” to go and buy bread…). We all saw how the toytown police went mad. We saw how new pop-up hospitals were created, never used, then dismantled. Parks were prepared to become mass graves. Never used. Never happened.
Idiot scientists like that Ferguson fellow were saying that as many as 800,000 might die in the UK from Coronavirus. Not 45,000. Not 1,500. Also, that we must not meet anyone outside our own household (but Ferguson himself had his “ho” visit him, with her husband’s permission at that).
Question: who is the bigger “cuck”, that husband of the blonde “ho”, or the British people who accepted these absurd controls and restrictions without even thinking about saying “no”? The same British people (some of them, anyway) who obeyed the call to stand outside their houses, stupidly clapping, every week?
Now we are told that, despite the virus obviously having run its course, we must all wear facemasks when shopping, visiting pubs and restaurants! Screw that. I may be forced to buy food like that, but I cannot be forced to shop like that; neither can I be forced to visit pubs and restaurants in such joyless fashion. I would rather watch the High Street of Britain shut down. At least that might trigger social national rebellion.

Crawley has obviously deteriorated. When I returned from a misadventure in Rhodesia, in 1977, I eventually got various short-term jobs. One was in Crawley, working 12-hour shifts in a huge bakery, or better put, bread factory. I think that it was called Mother’s Pride. The Crown Prosecution Service [“CPS”] then took over her case and continued the prosecution, dropping some charges but substituting others:

Jews such as Stephen Applebaum (a soi-disant “film critic” and proven Internet troll, who targeted women online), of the CAA pressure group, are even today defending that act of egregious terrorism, saying that “a warning was given”. Alison Chabloz in fact has now won a victory on points, so to speak. Of the original sentence (which she appealed, unsuccessfully) the prison term (20 weeks) was suspended for 2 years, and has now expired; the unpaid work was refused after a few days, and the requirement for it was then removed by another magistrate; the social media bar was neatly sidestepped and ignored.
Alison Chabloz had not paid her pound of flesh, according to the cowardly sadists of the “CAA”, so they tried to punish her more by claiming that she had breached a condition of her original sentence by blogging on her WordPress blog.
At first, the privatized probation people and CPS refused to play ball, so the CAA pressure group applied political pressure via a dim Sikh who is the Police and Crime Commissioner for the beleagured Derbyshire Constabulary, and (more significantly) via venal David Gauke, a pro-Israel solicitor who was, at the time, Secretary of State for Justice (but who lost his seat and is now no longer an MP). Gauke got the Ministry of Justice to pressure the CPS and the probation organization. Alison was prosecuted for “breach of condition”, found guilty (ludicrously, on the facts) in a Derbyshire magistrates’ court, and sentenced to 8 weeks’ imprisonment! After two days, she was out on bail pending appeal.
In the event, the CPS was unwilling to disclose papers that would have proven political interference in the prosecution. The CPS therefore surrendered to Alison Chabloz by telling the Derby Crown Court that it would not be presenting any evidence. A face-saver. The CPS and CAA have been shamed and dismissed! The appeal hearing has already been taken out of the list. A victory for Alison Chabloz.

In fact, the CAA conspirators and other Jews have not entirely given up persecuting Alison Chabloz. Last summer (2019), Alison appeared on an Internet “radio” show. That gave Stephen Silverman, the Jew who calls himself “Head of Investigations and Enforcement” at the CAA, his opportunity to make yet another malicious complaint, this time to the police at Derby.
As a result, Alison Chabloz was yet again arrested and questioned by Derby police, who then (unlawfully) purported to place conditions on her (an Internet ban and a residence requirement), both of which they in fact did not have the legal power to do, because Alison was not charged with anything and was merely “Released Under Investigation” [“RUI”].
Derbyshire’s poundland KGB released Alison late at night, without transport, no doubt deliberately.

The Derby police bail has been unlawfully extended well beyond the supposed “28 days plus 3 months” maximum anyway, and as for the case itself, it is a dead letter, because the 6-months time limit (applicable from when the prosecuting authority was aware of the complaint) has expired already, it seems. Despite that, Alison is still (notionally) on police bail!
In addition to the above, a halfwitted Jewish woman from North London (there is some doubt as to whether she is Jewish, in fact, but she claims to be, from what I have seen on Twitter) has made a complaint against Alison Chabloz on a charge of harassment.
By reason of that complaint (supposedly), a number of police from London and Kent (including some from the “anti-terror” department!) invaded Alison’s bedroom quite early one morning, handcuffed her (!), placed her under arrest and hauled her off to a police station where she was interrogated. It was even suggested (contrary to the spirit of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, aka PACE), that she might prefer to give an interview without a solicitor present! Disgraceful. Oh, and, once again, she was not charged with anything. Her telephone and computer were seized and have not been returned. That was on 22 May 2020.
Now, once again, Alison Chabloz is on police bail! A cat and mouse game which seems to be mainly designed to prevent her blogging.
The two subsisting complaints are probably never going to result in a charge. Alison scored a great victory when the CPS surrendered at Derby. That victory goes a long way to wiping out the CAA win in 2018.
Alison Chabloz is still here, still online, free of any court-imposed restriction, and known all over the world, largely because of the persecution she has suffered from the CAA and connected Jews. Indeed, her songs, such as (((Survivors))), can be found readily on the Internet, though not on YouTube, which removed her channel.
All well and good, and well worth reading, but Young would be more credible had he defended —even with a single tweet— those of social-national views who have been pilloried in recent years for expressing them.
Then there was the targeted persecution of the London Forum, a place where interesting talks and lectures were given. In fact, I spoke there once myself, in 2017:
Now the London Forum is defunct, the result of yet another Jewish lobby suppress-free-speech operation. Its YouTube channel has been closed down, and its guiding light, Jez Turner [Jeremy Bedford-Turner], was prosecuted after the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” Jew-Zionist pressure group took the Crown Prosecution Service [“CPS”] to the High Court on a judicial review application. Jez Turner was later, in 2018, convicted at Southwark Crown Court by a supine jury, then sentenced by a harsh judge to a year in prison, of which he served half.
The main target was not Jez Turner, as such, but the London Forum. The underlying target? Free speech. (((They))) hate freedom of expression for white Northern Europeans.

Many of the brainwashed “antifascist” and multikulti “liberal” types are totally lacking in self-awareness. Look, for example, at the BBC News report below about Nailsea, North Somerset (commented on by the former UKIP leader, Batten):
There’s more: the busybody who took pains to tear down those posters, one Shane Jones, is apparently a local resident. The BBC report continues:
“[Shane Jones] said the the posters “must have been up for quite a while” which was “more shocking”. I would have thought someone else would have taken them down,” he said.” I thought this was a pretty open town.”
Avon and Somerset Police said it believed the posters were put up overnight on Saturday. Supt Andy Bennett, said the force took “any reported hate crime with the utmost seriousness”.” It is inexplicable and unacceptable,” he said.“
The Shane Jones person sees no conflict between saying that Nailsea was thought to be “a pretty open town” and his own tearing down of inoffensive posters because he himself disagrees with the content. In fact, I wonder what exactly he does oppose? Is he saying that it is not “OK to be white”?
Also, look at the policeman quoted, a Superintendent, no less. It’s our old “friend” Andy Bennett, the officer who refused to let his men prevent the toppling of the Edward Colston statue in Bristol recently.
“”I was on my electric pushbike. I cycled down to the area by St Augustine’s Parade. The statue was already down. People will say we allowed them to roll it all the way to the docks. What would have happened if we stopped people and arrested them? We would have had to guard the statue. If you’ve got a police cordon protecting a statue of a man who made his money trading slaves, you can imagine how different things might have been.”
Supt Bennett believes guarding the statue would likely have led to violence and vandalism.
Asked if he feared for officers’ safety, he replied: “Absolutely. People could have got hurt and things could have got damaged.
“Our economy has been ravaged by coronavirus. Can you imagine those poor businesses if their windows had been broken in frustration? No one can afford that.
“I was very mindful of what this could look like for the future tourist economy. All that was going through my mind.
“I know it was the right thing to do for the safety of everyone there. No one got hurt and we had no arrests in the whole protest. That is 10,000 passionate people – Bristol should be proud of itself.” [Avon and Somerset News]
Well, even leaving aside the ludicrous picture of a senior police officer who gets around on an electric pushbike, like Mr. Bean or something, the idea of allowing a mob to do as it wishes simply because some of the untermenschen might “get hurt” is absurd, as is Superintendent Bean’s —I mean Bennett’s— view that it is a huge achievement not to have arrested any of the criminals. Is he in the right job?

As for being afraid that the mob might break shop windows if thwarted, Superintendent Bean-Bennett might have considered it his job and his duty to call in backup and start shooting (at least baton rounds) and thus restore both law and order, and his force’s now degraded authority. Do that, rather than kneel in surrender to the mob, you muppet!
Dissidents have their platforms removed
Others have now found some of their online platforms removed: inter alia, Katie Hopkins, “Prison Planet” Watson, Nick Griffin, Tommy Robinson, David Icke etc. Not that I agree with all of them, but that is not the point.
At the same time, offline freedom is also less and less in evidence. We see well-known people such as David Icke now prevented from selling books; that applies even to “mainstream” figures such as Cambridge University historian David Starkey. The independent historian David Irving went that way long ago.
As for me, I was prevented a decade ago from publishing on Amazon Reviews, as a result of Jew complaints; despite the fact that I was voted a “top 50” reviewer (out of millions) by Amazon customers.
My Twitter account was removed in 2018, as a result of conspiracy between Jews and “antifa” nuisances. I am not on Facebook.

Maybe, for a while, so long as it suits those who are really behind the “BLM” nonsense. So long as it suits the NWO, and ZOG. After that, the real motivation will slowly appear, and will be broadcast to the masses unable to think for themselves.
What about Alison Chabloz herself? Why are a few satirical songs heard, and seen performed, by few people (at first, before her ordeal started), so dangerous for ZOG and the New World Order?
It is a situation akin to the story of “The Emperor’s New Clothes“. It is akin to the fact that one small candle destroys the darkness.
The “holocaust” narrative is a vital building block of the NWO/ZOG attempt to control the world. The System is determined that no-one shall mock or question that narrative, and to that end has had built hundreds of “holocaust” shows and museums, from the Auschwitz camp (“reconstructed” after the end of the Second World War) to the “holocaust” monstrosities planted in the centre of almost every major city.
That has little to do with the details of what happened in a few small areas during the Second World War. It is all about controlling the historical narrative in order to control the peoples of Europe (especially) right now, and on into the future.
The planned “holocaust” “memorial” (hugely ugly visitor attraction) in London, to be plonked down right by the Palace of Westminster (!) was going to be rejected by the Westminster City Council, so the decision was taken out of their hands. Now it will be “considered” (approved) by that corrupt little pissant Robert Jenrick, a Conservative Friends of Israel member (as are all the Cabinet) who is not only married to a Jewish woman lawyer but who apparently celebrates Jewish holidays with her and their children.
The aim of all this is to build up an apparently irrefutable barrage of faked “evidence” in favour of that narrative. That is all a mirage, though, easily dissipated by satirical songs, or even by such as the Scotsman who taught his dog to salute in the manner of Hitler, then posted the result online. He too (Mark Meechan, aka “Count Dankula”) must also be hauled to court and sentenced, because he has, even if only by implication, or accidentally, mocked the Big Lie. Likewise more serious commentators such as David Irving and the very different David Icke.
Ironically, by persecuting Alison Chabloz, thousands, possibly millions, have heard her songs, which most of those people never would have encountered had it not been for the malicious campaign against her.
We must all stand up for freedom of expression on political, social, cultural, religious and historical topics.

Note: the extract below is from the blog of Alison Chabloz, published in 2018. It identifies “Campaign Against Antisemitism” members Stephen Silverman (of Grays, Essex) and Stephen Applebaum (of Edgware, near Watford), both Zionist Jews, as sadistic online trolls who should both have been prosecuted for harassment. Silverman was later “invited” for police interview but had CAA lawyers draft letters delaying that interview; eventually Silverman managed to wriggle out of attending the police station and the matter is now apparently inactive.

In fact, though she was initially convicted and she did go to a —reasonably comfortable— women’s prison for 2 days only, she was then released on bail pending appeal, which —in effect— she won, when the Crown Prosecution Service gave up and offered no evidence against her. Significant. In England, there is no credible choice to set against a bad joke government totally lacking in credibility, because Labour is even less credible than the Conservative Party, especially now that the Jewish lobby has retaken control.
Keir Starmer, whom I thought could at least put on a brave face of credibility or at least steadiness, has been photographed on his knees or knee, along with his deputy, the absurd Angela Rayner, making a show of their surrender to the “Black Lives Matter” nonsense (System-controlled nonsense, though…). Starmer looks like a weak accomplice of all Government policy, so far. There’s nothing beyond the “I was the DPP” facade. Nothing.
In Scotland, it is slightly different. The police are still around, and are actually quite good at tracking down murderers etc. However, the police fall down when it comes to “small” robberies, burglaries, car crime, anti-social behaviour, and other mattersof more concern to most inhabitants of these islands. Also, of course, any crime likely to result in black riots “has to be” handled with velvet gloves .
At the same time, the police are really energetic, given their head, in acting like a toytown militia, preventing ordinary citizens from doing harmless and normal things. That all came out during the ridiculous Government/msm-inspired Coronavirus panic and accompanying “lockdown” regime. The police were behaving like manic clockwork toys: the Government wound them up and off they went…
The police are also now a “poundland KGB” when it comes to so-called “hate crime”, which can mean almost anything, including general comment on society. Look at Alison Chabloz and the persecution she has suffered and is still suffering from the police, who are doing the bidding of —again— the Jewish Zionist lobby. One has to ask, “why is it always (((them)))“?
“Hate crime”…in terms of expressing comments about society, this is a non-crime. The police love it. Heard a story about a weekend medical emergency. The usual NHS story, perhaps: efficient and pleasant paramedics, mostly caring but run-off-their-feet nurses (one exception apparently being a nurse sitting doing nothing but watching a frail old patient unable to eat his breakfast porridge by reason of Parkinsons or similar), and excellent doctors one of whom eventually bent the rules so that the patient (the one I know, not the old one with the shaking hands) could get what turned out to be an excellent surgical result immediately, rather than having to wait days or weeks. Food in hospital apparently not bad, and including such as cod Mornay (the food much better than same patient’s experience at same hospital a few years ago, so the NHS can improve, incidentally).
What let down the patient’s experience was, as always with the NHS, the administrative side: transport, and general organization in the hospital and ward, part of which might be ascribed simply to how very busy the nurses were. The poor administration was ameliorated by the willingness of a few staff to bend the rules slightly and not to be jobsworths (which a couple were). That however should not be necessary.
Hearing the story, and having visited a number of hospitals (not as a patient) over the past decade, it seems to me that what is required, in part, is for each hospital ward to have someone as a kind of receptionist and “fixer”.
In offices situated in places like the Arabian/Persian Gulf, there is usually a person (I forget the Arab title) whose job it is, working with a receptionist, to arrange transport, make sure that telephone or other messages are delivered, and so on.
Looking at the often-shambolic NHS organization, it is clear that that is the weakest link. There is no need for all the stress on both staff and patients caused by problems around transport, parking, scheduling of operations, availability of wheelchairs (something so basic!) and other hospital activity. A ward “fixer” might not solve all the problems of the NHS, but it would solve many of the everyday ones. It would also, immediately, free nurses and junior doctors to do their primary work.
It is a great shame that the —mostly very good— work of paramedics, nurses, doctors, surgeons etc should be let down by shambolic administration and systems. What makes it worse is that the administrators, who are so often simply negligent, are among the better paid (at top, hugely well-paid) people in the NHS.
Incidentally, in France there are no hospital wards and have not been since, I believe I read, 1978. Maybe it was 1988. At any rate, since at least 30 years ago, French hospital patients all have either a single room or one shared with one other patient. Another point: in France, certainly in Brittany, patients with serious conditions, and who are being treated as outpatients, have taxis booked at State expense to transport them to and from hospital. Also, as far as I am aware, there is no such thing in French hospitals as having to pay to park a car when visiting patients.
Why is the above (re. French hospitals) all regarded as somehow impossible or unworkable in the UK?
