Alison Chabloz and the conspiracy to silence her

Yesterday’s (10 January 2020) hearing at Derby Crown Court was presided over by HH Judge Egbuna, who remarked that it was “vital” to ascertain whether the decision of the National Probation Service to press for prosecution of Alison Chabloz on the ground of breach of condition had been taken “professionally” or whether the decision had been a result of “political motivation”.

The judge was informed by Prosecution Counsel that the decision to proceed with a prosecution (and so trial for breach) was not taken or initiated by Alison Chabloz’s probation officer, as would be the normal situation; neither was that decision taken by his supervisor. It was the decision of someone above those levels.

Sounds as though the judge is seriously worried by possible interference in the judicial and quasi-judicial processes by (((someone))) or (((some organization)))…

The judge declared that Alison’s trial could not proceed until it had been established on what basis or bases the decision to prosecute had been taken, and by whom. The matter has now been adjourned until 25 June 2020.

That, however was not the end of (((their))) manipulations for the day. Alison Chabloz was arrested at court and taken to Derby Police Station, where she was “interviewed” (interrogated) by detectives about a complaint made by (((   ))). At length, late in the evening, she was given police bail until a date in mid-February, but only on the condition that she not post on her blog. That disgraceful “police-state” prohibition will, I apprehend, be challenged in court before very long.

Well, there we have it. A contrived “complaint” with the sole (main) aim of preventing Alison Chabloz from exercizing her right to free speech (which right “they” have almost destroyed in the UK, aided by “me too” rabbits on Twitter and elsewhere). What other objective? Well, I suppose that it also inconvenienced Alison Chabloz, and their little minds love to do things like that, as witness the false and malicious complaint the same “people” made about me three years ago:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/

It is about time that the police and CPS woke up to the fact that they are being manipulated and used by the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake charity.

England has now become a country in which a police desk sergeant in deepest darkest Derbyshire can decide (was it really his decision?) not to allow a British citizen the right to post on the Internet! “They” have destroyed our freedom for their own tribal ends.

Note

I have had comments made on my blog to the effect that the Derby Crown Court imposed the Internet prohibition, not the police, but as yet I do not have confirmation of that. [please see the Updates, below]

France

While we are talking about “them”, we should take a brief look at France. Famously, ex-Rothschild’s gopher Emmanuel Macron set up “his own” (oh, yes, his own, I think not!) pop-up “party”, called it En Marche! and became President of France, having beaten Marine le Pen, who (unlike Macron) was not backed by System political drones all over Europe (Macron was invited to meet both Theresa May and Frau Merkel before he had even been elected!).

Macron is a very strange character: see https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/01/09/on-recent-events-in-france/

Well, the “Gilets Jaunes” protests and similar dissensions are still continuing, and are being met with typical ZOG repression:

“For some reason”? Just as, “for some reason” the UK ZOG regime ignores the human rights abuses of the Zionist lobby (see the Alison Chabloz case above)…

Tintagel

I was interested to see this, about the main hotel at Tintagel, in North Cornwall:

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/jan/11/trum-and-farage-supporter-flies-flag-for-qanon-rar-right-conspiracy

It seems to be hard to find a name for it that is not vulgar. At one time it was called the King Arthur’s Castle Hotel, I think, and is now the Camelot Castle Hotel.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tintagel#Hotels

I stayed there once myself, but before (((those))) who “monitor” my blog get excited, I was not very engaged politically at the time (late 2001) and never met the owner, one Mappin, who inherited a large chunk of the Mappin & Webb jewellery business https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mappin_%26_Webb

I remember my stay there well. It was about a week or so before Christmas. Wet, windy, stormy in fact. My wife and I were looking around possible homes in the South West (we found one in the end, at least for a couple of years). Needing a place to stay overnight, I chose this castle hotel, which is right on the cliff at Tintagel.

I understand that the hotel has since been refurbished. At that time, though, it had an impressive if slightly gloomy ambience. In fact it was not much like a hotel at all. For one thing, despite the size of the place, my wife and I were the only guests. Also, the staff on duty that evening seemed to consist of a middle-aged couple: a pleasant but rather eccentric Austrian (I think) woman and her husband, I think English, bearded, rather lacking in joie de vivre and whose realm seemed to be the cavernous and dimly-lit bar, where he was deep in conversation with (I presumed) a friend.

We were shown several rooms, and ended up in what was, I think, the most expensive (£200 a night B&B, in 2001…well overpriced for what was offered). The room was very large, very cold (there was an almost antique double-bar fire set into the wall) and contained a four-poster bed. We were told that Elgar had stayed for some time in that room. I later discovered that he had composed much of his Second Symphony there:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphony_No._2_(Elgar)#Extra-musical_considerations

I believe that numerous other artistic and other luminaries have stayed in that hotel in the past; Arnold Bax and Yeats among them.

The hotel was so shut down when I visited that it was unable to offer its guests (us) even a snack. We were advised that the inns in Tintagel village, which starts near where the hotel driveway ends, were good. We found simple pleasant Cornish fare at such an inn and then returned to the castle for a couple of drinks in the Great Hall (and it really deserves its title), alone apart from the bearded retainer who brought the drinks. A memorable experience, to sit there before a huge open fire reminiscent of an Errol Flynn film, the storm blowing outside.

In the morning, breakfast was served by an aged waitress, her tiny grand-daughter (in fact probably great-grand-daughter), aged about 3 or 4 (I am no good at guessing children’s ages) holding on to the woman’s skirts as our food and coffee were served to us (no point in having a buffet when only two people are breakfasting, of course). The huge breakfast gallery (in which we were still the only guests) overlooked the tempestuous sea breaking on the jagged rocks below. Shades of Rebecca

Alison Chabloz update, 2300 hrs

Ha ha! I should send that to Alison Chabloz’s solicitor and Counsel! They could probably do with a good laugh! It is, of course, nonsense.

More detail from yesterday’s proceedings and activities:

  • Bail set by the the judge at Crown Court was unconditional;
  • The purported Internet/blog restriction was laid down by a Derbyshire police detective-sergeant and relates to the police bail granted in the evening vis-a-vis the latest malicious complaint made by (((  ))), not to the Crown Court proceedings;

Another interesting remark was, it seems, made by Prosecution Counsel to the judge at the Crown Court hearing, to the effect that, after he, Counsel for the Prosecution, sees whatever disclosure is made by the police and CPS, he himself might be minded to concede that there were no proper grounds for the prosecution.

If the above account is accurate, I am beginning to think that Alison Chabloz is on the home stretch here…

Update, 19 August 2020

As I predicted in the above update (of same date as, but later in time than, the original blog), the CPS decided in the end not to oppose Alison Chabloz’s appeal in the Crown Court. The CPS weaselled about how they still believed that her prosecution for breach was correct, but that in all the circumstances, the Crown would concede. They even brought in “Coronavirus”, the thick planks!

In reality, there is no way that the CPS wanted to admit that David Gauke (the then Justice Secretary), the CPS, and the privatiized probation monkeys (not to mention the police, including the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire, some thick Sikh) had been got at by the Jewish lobby. Result? Complete victory for Alison Chabloz. She and her Counsel did not even have to appear at Derby Crown Court; the matter was simply taken out of the list. Ha.

Treason is a Matter of Timing

ds5

“Treason is a matter of timing”, Talleyrand is supposed to have said. A remark which perhaps goes down better in some countries than others, though really it has universal application. I suppose that it has two basic elements: treason; timing.

We all think that we know what “treason” means, but in fact there have been various definitions throughout the world and throughout history. We hear, in Robin Hood films and the comments columns of newspapers, the term “high treason”, for example, but outside the ranks of (some) lawyers, linguists and historians, the “high” seems just hyperbole to most people. The meaning, to most, can be said to be “caviar to the general”, above their heads.

In Germany and other Germanophone countries, there were traditionally two types of treason, Landesverrat [“Country Treason”] and the more serious Hochverrat [“High Treason”].

In fact, in the past, the main difference between the two, from the point of view of the captured perpetrator, was that he would be put to death in a somewhat less unpleasant manner for “Landesverrat“! Cold comfort, perhaps.

High Treason was doing such acts as to take over the State, or place the State under the rulership of another state; the lesser kind of treason would be to do acts such as helping the enemies of the State, giving secret information to those enemies, fighting on their side etc.

I suppose that one could, cynically, add the word “attempt” before the above “to take over the State”, inasmuch as a successful attempt to take over a state is not regarded as “treason” by the successful new rulers, and so the State itself, but as merely an incident of history. Only unsuccessful (“high”) traitors are punished; the successful ones punish others…

Other countries have other definitions of treason.

The British law of treason is entirely statutory and has been so since the Treason Act 1351 (25 Edw. 3 St. 5 c. 2). The Act is written in Norman French, but is more commonly cited in its English translation.

The Treason Act 1351 has since been amended several times, and currently provides for four categories of treasonable offences, namely:

  • “when a man doth compass or imagine the death of our lord the King, or of our lady his Queen or of their eldest son and heir”;
  • “if a man do violate the King’s companion, or the King’s eldest daughter unmarried, or the wife of the King’s eldest son and heir”;[28][29]
  • “if a man do levy war against our lord the King in his realm, or be adherent to the King’s enemies in his realm, giving to them aid and comfort in the realm, or elsewhere”; and
  • “if a man slea the chancellor, treasurer, or the King’s justices of the one bench or the other, justices in eyre, or justices of assise, and all other justices assigned to hear and determine, being in their places, doing their offices”.

Another Act, the Treason Act 1702 (1 Anne stat. 2 c. 21), provides for a fifth category of treason, namely:

  • “if any person or persons … shall endeavour to deprive or hinder any person who shall be the next in succession to the crown … from succeeding after the decease of her Majesty (whom God long preserve) to the imperial crown of this realm and the dominions and territories thereunto belonging”.

[Wikipedia]

These “heads of treason” are now largely of historical interest, and the acts commonly charged via other laws, but it will be recalled that, after the 1994 book, Princess in Love, by the Jewess Anna Pasternak, about the affair between Princess Diana and the (by then, ex-) Guards officer James Hewitt, was published, an enterprising reporter from the Sun “newspaper” tried to make a citizen’s arrest of Hewitt for treason, for “violating the wife of the King’s eldest son and heir”! That would have made for an interesting incident, but Hewitt kept his front door firmly shut.

Treason. Were the officers involved in the 20 July 1944 plot to kill Hitler “traitors”? Hitler thought so! German law (as it was in 1944) also said yes. In fact, I am not convinced that German law as it now is would acquit the plotters (though I concede that my knowledge of German law is at best fragmentary). I blogged once or twice about those events:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/07/20/the-20th-of-july-2019-thoughts/

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2018/07/20/the-20th-of-july/

These matters have been discussed more in Germany and France than they have in the UK. Nuances of loyalty have been tested more on the European mainland. The events around the Reich and the Second World War led to shades of meaning not always understood in the UK. In France during WW2, there was a spectrum of loyalties ranging from monarchist (!) and extreme conservative, through Gaullist and moderate conservative, to social democrat, to socialist, to Communist (pro-Stalin) and Trotskyist. Not all were hostile to Vichy and/or Germany. To give just one example, Francois Mitterand was supposedly both a “resistantand part of the Vichy government, peripherally.

Some Frenchmen were not only pro-Vichy but pro-National Socialist. A relative few, perhaps 11,000, volunteered for SS Charlemagne:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/33rd_Waffen_Grenadier_Division_of_the_SS_Charlemagne_(1st_French)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_de_la_Mazi%C3%A8re

Honourable pro-German Frenchmen such as Christian de la Maziere were not, in their own eyes, “traitors”, any more than were, in their own eyes, German officers such as von Stauffenberg.

Of course, the masses like simplicity. In the UK, they were told that Mosley was a traitor (though of course never tried as such), and I suppose that a number of simple people still believe what they have heard based on that wartime propaganda.

Take another case: “George Blake” (born Behar, a half-Jew). Traitor? Many would say so, on the basis that he was in British service and even had a British passport:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Blake

Blake himself would say not a traitor, his allegiance being to the Communist ideal.

https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2017/dec/08/cell-mates-a-good-traitor-the-extraordinary-life-of-george-blake-the-spy-who-went-into-the-cold

These nuances seem rather un-British, but they would not perplex the spymasters of the 16th Century, such as Walsingham, used as he and his opponents were to ideological allegiance crossing national or state lines; in that era, allegiance based, usually, on religion.

What about timing? Well, of course, sometimes timing, as Talleyrand expresses, is what makes treason, treason. The officers who plotted against Hitler and survived became acceptable in postwar West Germany.

Timing is important in so many things. I was rereading a book I had not seen for about 25 years, In the Gunsight of the KGB. A quite compelling story of how a professor of Marxism-Leninism, Ushakov, was arrested for anti-Soviet agitation (being a dissident), released by administrative error, then fled to avoid re-arrest and certain long imprisonment. The half of the book that deals with his flight and then escape across the heavily-guarded Soviet-Turkish border is a good read; the rest, which deals with his views about Sovietism and upcoming events, is rather poor.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gunsight-KGB-Alexander-Ushakov/dp/0394562844

Timing is especially instructive here: Ushakov fled in 1984, if memory serves. Now, today, we know that had he avoided arrest in some lawful way, he would have been able to travel freely in about 7 years. Had he been imprisoned, he would have been released by the late 1980s if not before. He, however, did not know that!

How could he have guessed that the whole Soviet system (which he still fears in his book, regarding it as almost all-powerful and able to hoodwink the West easily: the Golitsyn syndrome) would crash to nothing after 1989, the State itself being dissolved by 1991?

In fact, Ushakov was unlucky also in that his book came out in August 1989, only a couple of months before the collapse of the Berlin Wall, followed by that of socialism across Eastern and Central Europe and then in the Soviet Union itself. Ushakov’s book was therefore obsolescent by the time it hit the bookshelves (though the adventurous first half is still, even today, of interest). Ushakov therefore fell into obscurity, whereas he might well otherwise have followed, in a minor way, in the footsteps of more famous dissidents, escapees and defectors, such as Bukovsky.

We all stand within the bounds of time and space. At present, our world seems almost immutable, but beware the hubris of thinking that our Western society will continue forever (“The End of History” fallacy). In fact, I should say that there is every chance that the world we know will not be around in its present form for much longer.

Forget treason. Concentrate on timing.

Diary Blog, 1 January 2020

A few minutes of J.S. Bach to welcome in the New Year and the new decade.

That music always makes me smile. When I did a couple of days of parachute training in deepest Wiltshire in 1978, that piece was used as the soundtrack to a short film showing a stick of men and women exiting a plane in a string and then freefalling, eventually joining up to create a star-shape. Quite something.

Not quite what they imagine…

I don’t particularly like Kasparov, but of course he is (mostly) right here:

Having said that, most UK “millennials” have a pathetically-low level of political and historical knowledge anyway. They have been filled at school with ahistorical semi-fantasy such as the supposed evils of National Socialist Germany (complete with “gas chambers” that never existed and of which there is no credible evidence). The Soviet Union? GULAG “archipelago”? The purges and other killings which characterized Sovietism from 1917 right up to, say, 1956 (some would say the 1980s)? The “millennials” know little or nothing about that.

The (or those particular) “millennials” seem to have a fantasy-politics idea about “Communism” (and by that do they mean “socialism” as practised in the various states espousing it since 1917, or do they mean the Marxist end-game “Communism”, with the State “withering away” etc? Hard to say, and we are not told).

I suggest that they read GULAG Archipelago, Under Two Dictators, Into the Whirlwind, The World I Left Behind etc. Of course, few will…

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/01/18/some-thoughts-about-venezuela-socialism-and-developing-a-more-advanced-society/

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/01/01/disordered-and-infantile-people/

There is another point here. Since, mainly, the early Blair years, freedom of expression has become conspicuous by its absence in the UK. Look at the cases of Jez Turner, imprisoned (and for a year —in reality, 6 months— at that) merely for saying in a rather humorous speech that Jews should be expelled (for the second or third time) from England;

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/jeremy-bedford-turner-race-hate-speech-antimsemitism-british-soldier-england-jewish-control-a8352561.html

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/tag/jeremy-bedford-turner/

or Alison Chabloz, prosecuted and actually convicted (it’s a bad joke…) for singing some funny songs about Jews, “holocaust” hoaxes and similar fakery.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-47230443

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/09/24/the-persecution-of-alison-chabloz-latest-news-from-the-kangaroo-courts/

Then look at this! An unfortunate fellow actually charged, prosecuted and convicted of “incitement” for making what seem to have been (judging from the newspaper report)  fairly unexceptionable remarks on Facebook and Twitter:

https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news/plymouth-news/nazi-jailed-hate-campaign-involving-3643363

That unfortunate victim of political “justice” was sentenced, incredibly, to TWO YEARS IMPRISONMENT by a judge who admitted that the sentence was meant to “deter others” (from making socio-political statements of an anti-multikulti and radical nature). Pure political theatre on behalf of the Devon & Cornwall Police (who evidently have too much time on their hands), the CPS and the Court. Save perhaps for the sentence, this could have been a “troika” of the NKVD in 1937, a “show trial” of the same period, or indeed a session of the “People’s Court” in 1944 Germany.

Another political prisoner in the UK.

RIP, free speech…

Or look at me, come to that: disbarred (albeit years after I gave up Bar practice, so be it) merely for having tweeted, as a private citizen, 5 particular tweets (out of at least 150,000 tweeted), e.g. tweeting that Michael Gove is a pro-Jew, pro-Israel, expenses cheat. All of which was true! He was. He is (except that Parliament has made it harder to commit fraud since 2010). He is also, as we now know, a “former” cocaine abuser (I think that the bastard is still using, in fact, looking at him):

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/

I was also “interviewed”, “voluntarily”, by Essex Police in 2017:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/

Let us be clear here: the Jewish-Zionist lobby was behind both of my encounters with “authority” detailed above. Collusion between that lobby and others (probably all freemasons) and also, in the Essex case, the police.

Freedom of expression has already been severely restricted in the UK, an outcome of both the post-1997 extension of power by the Jewish lobby, and also the increasingly “diverse” nature of the UK. A “diverse” society is either a shambles or a dictatorship, or both.

Freedom of expression is arguably the most important issue in the UK at present.

Obituary

I just read, 6 months late, this obituary of the scribbler and historian Norman Stone, whom I recall reading (though probably only in The Spectator) 20-30 years ago. The obit is a good read; also quite surprising!

https://www.theguardian.com/books/2019/jun/25/norman-stone-obituary

Christmas University Challenge

Watched a University Challenge featuring alumni teams from Wadham College, Oxford and Trinity, Cambridge, including the journalist Anne McElvoy (who usually appears as a talking head on politics shows, looking terribly pleased with herself), the Jew scribbler Jonathan Freedland (Guardian columnist) and other writers, academics etc.

I got more questions right than than both teams put together, possibly because the questions were easier than usual and/or because there was a paucity of detailed scientific/technical/mathematical questions. I see that I was not alone:

https://twitter.com/nicmillerstale/status/1212479125946093578?s=20

The Twitterati

When the Jewish-Zionist “claque” on Twitter had me expelled (mid-2018), I had about 3,000 “followers”. I never had huge illusion about the “influence” Twitter gives. Very little, really. For many, it is not an adjunct to doing something, but a substitute for it. Slacktivism.

We see that thousands inveigh against evil bastard Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, Esther McVey etc. What has happened to them? Nothing. Now we see that the British Government has become a repressive ZOG regime under Boris Johnson, a part-Jew public entertainer who is the most egregious political con-man since Horatio Bottomley [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horatio_Bottomley], and that is even counting Nigel Farage and Robert “Maxwell”. Thousands take to Twitter to denounce Boris-idiot and his Cabinet of “Israel First”-ers. What happens to Boris? To Priti Patel? To Sajid Javid? Nothing.

The fact is that, though it has its educative uses, Twitter, from a political viewpoint, is mainly a waste of time, a distraction, and a diversion.

Labour leadership

YouGov polling:

Leaving aside my own preferences, I should say that, objectively, there are four solid candidates: Keir Starmer, Rebecca Long-Bailey, Yvette Cooper, Lisa Nandy. The other three are just a joke.

Of the four real candidates, I despise Yvette Cooper because she

  • was a proven expenses cheat, along with her husband Ed Balls;
  • is a “refugees welcome” idiot and also hypocrite, who falsely claimed that she would put up “refugees” (migrant-invaders) in her own home (not that I would like her any the more if she actually did so);
  • is completely in the pocket of the Jew-Zionist element;
  • is a would-be dictator (among other flaws an enemy of freedom of expression).

As to Keir Starmer, yes, in a sense he could be termed a solid candidate, in that he:

  • looks the part;
  • has a solid background in law and government;
  • was born on the same same day of the year, 2 September, as me —though in 1962, not 1956— (only joking, though I was born on 2 September).

What are Starmer’s views on free speech? I do not know, though he has written a book partly about that. I saw this tweet, which is not encouraging…

…and it looks as if Starmer is a bit of a doormat…

This is better…

Overall? I cannot see Keir Starmer energizing the voters. Rather a dull fellow. If he becomes Labour leader, which seems quite likely, I imagine that Labour will improve slightly in the opinion polls, that the Jew-Zionist element in the msm etc will not give Labour such a hard ride, and that Labour will then lose the next general election gracefully…

What about Rebecca Long-Bailey?

For me, she is the best overall candidate, but only out of a poor bunch. She at least has (a few) ideas and some commitment to positive change, and is not entirely a System/Establishment stooge:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/dec/29/rebecca-long-bailey-labour-party-britain

Rebecca Long-Bailey

  • has seen some of the less privileged aspects of UK life (though she herself worked as a solicitor for years, in the property field, inter alia);
  • does at least seem to want a better society (well, it’s a start; many Conservative and Labour MPs do not even make it that far!)

As against that, Rebecca Long-Bailey

  • was caught out lying about watching her father worry about losing his job, then doing so (in fact, those events happened when she was 2 years old!), which was not only untrue, but a rather stupid claim (because easily disproven);
  • seems to be (?) not opposed to mass immigration (migration-invasion);
  • seems a humourless type, a possible or would-be dictator (cf. Yvette Cooper).

I am not sure whether she would stand up to the Jew-Zionist element. Probably not.

I cannot see Rebecca Long-Bailey attracting huge numbers of voters, but you never know. It may be that younger voters might favour her.

Lisa Nandy

  • fairly presentable;
  • a System politician through and through;
  • pro-immigration;
  • looks like a throwback to the Blair-Brown years.

Not likely to inspire many voters to vote Labour.

So there they are, “the candidates”. Labour looks like continuing its downward spiral, but the younger voters favour Labour at present and I cannot see most of the dispossessed young morphing into Conservative voters, even as they age, so the Labour Party may still have life in it in the medium term (meaning the next few years).

Diary Blog, 31 December 2019; and also my thoughts, on the final day of 2019

Well, here we are…not on Merry Christmas but (maybe) near Happy New Year. Time for a few stray thoughts about the year passing away, the year(s) ahead, and about where UK society and the world may be going.

I am going to be adding to this throughout the day, in a stream of consciousness way, not in any particular order or with any fixed structure.

Bush fires in Australia

As a child of 10-13, I lived in Sydney, on the North Shore (Mosman/Cremorne), in the late 1960s (2-3 years). I recall seeing bushfire damage in the Ku-ring-gai Chase area (many miles to the North) once or twice (may have been a controlled burn fire gap), but only once saw an actual bushfire, and that was when my family drove up to Queensland in 1968. Somewhere in the Northern coastal part of New South Wales. We drove through an area with fire on both sides of the highway (Australia had no motorways then outside Sydney). That cannot of course be compared to the almost apocalyptic pictures we now see on TV from NSW and Victoria.

Temperatures? Well, I do recall that, one day, in Sydney, the news was full of how the next day would be the hottest ever recorded in Sydney. I think it got to 112F (44C). One day only, as far as I can remember. I think that that was in December 1967 or January 1968. I see from Wikipedia that Sydney’s record high, more recently, is recorded as having been 45C. So not very different.

Where it is now different is that such extreme heat now seems to go on for weeks or even months. I have heard so from members of my family who have visited Sydney a number of times in the past 20 years or so (a few even live there). They have no doubt that Australia is far hotter now than it was in the late 1960s. As I say, it is now not a question of isolated very hot days but of relentless heat every year for months at a time.

No-one had aircon in their home then!

For me, the question of “climate change” or “global warming” resolves into:

  • Is the climate worldwide getting hotter?
  • Is human behaviour part (or even all) of the causation?
  • What if anything can be done to ameliorate the effects, or even halt the process?

For me (obviously not a scientist and/or “expert”), again, the answers (provisionally) seem to be:

  • There is evidence that there is a warming trend worldwide, but the evidence is far from conclusive;
  • Human behaviour may be part of the causative trigger, but is unlikely to be the whole or only reason why the Earth’s atmosphere etc is warming (assuming that it is);
  • Human behaviour might make a difference but only if the really large-scale industrial powers, with overwhelmingly huge populations, cease to exist or to exist in the way that they now do. I am talking about, mainly, China and India.

What I can be certain about is that ridiculous rants by the likes of Greta Thunberg, and the kind of pathetic sub-terrorism indulged in by Extinction Rebellion will achieve nothing at all. I have blogged about these already:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/09/29/greta-thunberg-system-approved-wunderkind/

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/10/09/extinction-rebellion-greta-thunberg-cressida-dick-and-the-madness-of-protesting-crowds/

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/08/16/the-extinction-rebellion-levellers/

as I have about green politics and the connection to social nationalism:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2016/11/17/social-nationalism-and-green-politics/

For me, it is clear that the problem is, at root, the huge human population on the Earth now, which is twice as large as it was even in 1970 and about twenty times what it was at the start of our present age (the Fifth Post-Atlantean) in or about 1400 AD.

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/01/26/the-tide-is-coming-in-reflections-on-the-possible-end-of-our-present-civilization-and-what-might-follow/

I feel that a huge “correction” in coming. In fact, I am rather glad that I shall probably be discarnate when it happens, though I do feel a responsibility, not to do anything to prevent it (I have no power to do so anyway), but to plant a seed which may one day burst into life as a new super-race and super-culture.

The collapse of the recent “climate change” summit was inevitable. The large polluting countries, chief among them China and India, cannot do enough (on the premise that cutting back on “emissions” actually helps), the USA will not do much, so the international System and the System msm concentrate on the peripheral issues, such as “emissions” of carbon from countries such as the UK, Australia etc. The UK only produces about 1% of global carbon “emissions” anyway, so it scarcely matters, in reality, what the UK does. That is even more true in respect of Australia.

Russia and “the West”

Russia today is not the Soviet Union. It is merely a large nation-state which sits somewhere between being a regional power and being a superpower.

The Soviet Union wanted to take over the world and certainly Europe in the 1920s, 1930s and even 1940s. By the 1950s, its leaders knew that that would probably never happen. Just as the Schlieffen Plan solidified into the trench warfare of the First World War after 1914, the revolutionary and later at least expansionist aspirations of the Soviet Union had solidified by the late 1940s into the Cold War rivalry with the US-led “West”. After 1989, that had all but stopped but was then replaced by a Russian-nationalist ideology.

As it now is, Russia is not going to invade Europe, but NATO is encircling (has encircled) Russia, and is pushing. Don’t push Russia too far. It now has hypersonic missiles and is years in advance of the Americans. The new missiles can hit American targets within 15 minutes.

The general who oversees U.S. nuclear forces, Air Force Gen. John Hyten, said in February that hypersonic missiles can strike America within 15 minutes, half the time of ballistic weapons” [Bloomberg]

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-30/putin-s-hypersonic-nuclear-missile-stirs-fears-of-new-arms-race

The lesson is obvious: stop poking Russia with a sharp stick.

In terms of conventional arms too, if need be, Russia can place 4 million men in the field, and even its active forces dwarf those of Europe and are more effective as well. As for the Americans, they have technology and numbers, but do they have real will?

The New World Order tried to swallow Russia in the decade after 1989. It failed, thanks to the upsurge in Russian nationalism under Putin and also thanks to the Islamist upsurge.

Russia is unlikely to be the aggressor (in Europe) but do not underestimate its power.

Some people make the mistake of saying “Russia’s economy has fundamental weaknesses, therefore it is militarily weak”. A mistake made throughout history. The Medes and the Persians. The Spartans and the Persian Empire etc. Stalin said of the atom bomb, “we must have it even if we have to eat grass”…(cf. North Korea).

China

One of the jokes of recent years was the spectacle of the then UK Defence Secretary, Gavin Williamson, a former fireplace salesman, interrupting playing with his pet spider (yes, really…) to threaten both Russia and China with his meagre forces! What a total idiot! He even threatened to send one of Britain’s few (about 20) capital ships to the South China Sea! That would really frighten China, which has about 700 naval ships and submarines, and over 700 naval aircraft! Not to mention 255,000 sailors:

The UK, politically

I have blogged a great deal about the recent General Election. No point in regurgitating all that. Still, worth recalling that the 2019 Conservative vote only increased by 1.2 points over 2017. The Labour vote fell by 8 points. All the same, Corbyn did as well or better than Miliband or Brown, in national vote percentage terms, and not far short of Blair. Unfortunately for Corbyn, the national vote percentage is not the only factor.

The General Election of 2019 reinforced my view that Labour is now a niche party for the “blacks and browns” as well as public service people. It has no broad appeal. That however may change. Had only 18-24 y o voters voted, Labour would have captured almost all seats in England and Wales, and at least half of those in Scotland. The Conservatives would, by contrast, have no seats at all, not one. Is that a straw in the wind? Was 2019 the “last hurrah” for Labour, for the Conservatives, or for both?

The roots of the Conservatives in their new Northern seats are very shallow. Look at Hartlepool, a Labour seat even now. Labour received over a third of the vote, but both Con and Brexit Party over a quarter. Volatile, like all of the North and Midlands now.

It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that Labour, if radical, could bounce back and, with new voters coming up and retired elderly ones dying, seize back the field, all but wiping out a Conservative Party which in some respect is as weak as Labour.

Free speech in the UK

A matter close to my heart.

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2018/05/30/one-mans-extremism-is-another-mans-struggle-for-liberty-and-justice/

In the last couple of years, we have seen Jez Turner (Jeremy Bedford-Turner) convicted and (incredibly) imprisoned merely for making a humorous reference to Jews in a public speech, and the satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz convicted and briefly imprisoned (the matter is still in part under appeal as I write) for singing humorous songs!

See:https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/09/24/the-persecution-of-alison-chabloz-latest-news-from-the-kangaroo-courts/

Also see: https://alisonchabloz.com/

What we face in the UK is an intensification of the assault on free speech, which is actually now being placed in the hands of police supposedly investigating “terrorism”! One man was convicted in 2019 of putting up “neo-Nazi” stickers on lamp-posts. Sentence? 2.5 years! Another was imprisoned for 2 years merely for posting remarks o Twitter and Facebook. The judge in that case was unwise enough to say that the harsh punishment was “to deter others”. A poundland Judge Jeffreys…

Etc

There is a huge amount still to say, but no more time today.

Happy New Year.

New Year Honours— A Bloody Joke

BekVduHIIAAj-ug

[I wrote this for my Diary Blog, but it deserves its own article]

New Year “Honours”

This has of course been a farce for a very long time. At least in the mediaeval period, there was no hypocrisy involved. You were a crony of the King, or helped him out in battle or otherwise, you got a title, and maybe the lands (and so, income) with which to support your new-found estate (status).

Later, absurdities such as the creation of the “baronet” class, the earliest example of the “sale of honours”, went alongside honours sometimes given for real achievement in the arts, sciences and commerce.

There were scandals along the way. The sale of honours under Lloyd George was egregious not in quality (it happened before, it still happens in 2019) but in quantity. Few “average citizens” realize that hardly any of the still extant hereditary titles predate 1900. And that is before we even consider the “life peers”, which rival the baronetage in risibility.

A woman starts a bra company. Turns out that it is a house of cards that eventually collapses, but not before Michelle Mone is “elevated” to the House of Lords as a “baroness”, having convinced idiotic David Cameron-Levita that she is a great “role-model”. A West Indian woman’s son is killed by some white ruffians in a scuffle at a South-East London bus stop. What?! Oh my God! Make her a “baroness” too! And bung her family a hundred grand at the same time.

The “House of Lords” was badly “reformed” by Blair; a poorly-thought-out reform, like so much of his legislation. It is time to get rid of it.

As to the new honours list: I have not read it in detail but, for one thing, is it not incredible that Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, a proven liar and fraudster, should be “knighted”? His record:

  • A part-Japanese, who attended a “secondary modern” State school near Birmingham and then went on to a substandard merchant navy school on Anglesey, later fraudulently inventing a university background (was found out, but sadly too late);
  • Poses as a kind of “upper class” Englishman by reason of having been a Scots Guards officer (never got beyond Lieutenant in 6 years, and was considered a deadhead even in Guards circles);
  • Married a wealthy wife but still, for a while, fraudulently claimed State benefits;
  • Has always sponged off his father-in-law, even —and to this day— living for free in a house on the latter’s estate in Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire;
  • Has wasted literally billions of State funds in trying to make his misconceived “welfare” “reforms” work, while subjecting the sick, disabled, unemployed etc to a regime characterized by an Oriental cruelty and vindictiveness;
  • Has, in effect, via his policies, killed tens of thousands of people;
  • Fraudulently claimed hundreds of thousands of pounds on his MP expenses for “employing” his wife; in fact she never did any work at all; Dunce was, however, never tried for what was a plain fraud on public monies;
  • Claimed that he could easily live on a few pounds a day if he had to; meanwhile, he claimed on his MP expenses for underwear and also for a £39 breakfast at the Waldorf in London (among a huge number of other doubtful claims);
  • Has shown himself incapable of properly holding high office;
  • Time and again proven to be a liar;
  • Conservative Friends of Israel member…

Dunce is the most obviously unmeritorious recipient of an honour this time, but what about the degenerate singer-songwriter, Elton John? I should like to have him removed from the airwaves and from sight. There again, a black woman has apparently been given a minor honour for baking cakes. Also, there is the  now-usual plethora of sports people etc. Win a cricket match or rugby game on the other side of the world? Knighthood. Bloody joke.

At the other end, there are the people who get honours for years of “service” (work). OK, and many may be meritorious; many may not be. I was slightly acquainted once with a woman who, 20+ years later (2006 or 2007), got an honour (MBE, I think) “for fostering relations with Russia”. From what I heard on good authority, mainly carnal ones…

I think that this whole business needs a reboot, especially the higher honours, the “peerages”, “knighthoods” etc.

Homes for hens?

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/animal-lover-raises-2400-36-21167718

A nice story, but also one which highlights how living creatures are treated as disposable commodities in our society.

Another point is that, in times of distress or trouble, these creatures will be very useful to humans on the micro-level. A basic thing for prepping.

The DEFRA regulations (applicable in the UK) are that anyone can keep up to 50 chickens without having to register the flock and then maybe have to comply with various regulations. Some countries are more restrictive if the area is deemed “residential” (eg Australia allows only 6 chickens per “residential area” property).

Chickens are a useful food source (meaning that they supply eggs). I understand that a hen foraging for itself will lay about one egg every day or two, so an average-size family could get more than enough eggs from fewer than a dozen hens.

A useful fact to know is that it is not necessary to feed chickens commercially-sold chickenfeed such as corn (maize), millet or other grain. A small number of chickens can forage for themselves in a fairly small area. They also like boiled leftover human food such as potato, carrot etc, especially if mashed.

nb. Feeding “catering waste” to chickens is now banned in the UK, but that does not apply to household leftovers fed to the household’s own birds not for sale to the public.

Out in Indiaahhh…

Kazakhstan air crash

When I first went to Kazakhstan in 1996, the runway of the airport at Almaty (former Alma-Ata, the capital city at the time) was very short. Before landing, the pilot advised all passengers to adopt the crash position (head between or towards knees, and arms braced on seat in front), though he was good enough to explain why, and that we were not actually about to crash. The landing itself was rather sudden, with much braking and swerving and engine noise.

That was then. Since then, Almaty airport burned down, was rebuilt, the main runway increased in length (I believe); also, the capital was moved to Astana, which has now been renamed Nur-Sultan (the first name of the President, Nazarbaev, who was even in office when I lived in Almaty, 22-23 years ago!). Nur-Sultan has a harsher climate than Almaty. It is the second-coldest capital in the world in winter, with a record low of nearly -55C.

Something else just noticed

Horrible creatures of evil crowing because “their” manipulations lost Labour the election (or made any —arguably— inevitable loss much worse):

Below, a good example of that which the (ironically, a Jew) inventor of the fraudulent “psycho-analysis” claptrap (a pseudo-science), Sigmund Freud, called “transference”:

Time for a cultural purge in the UK

Look at this anecdote told by ghastly old half-Jewess Sharon Osbourne [nee Levy]:

People are shocked:

https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/showbiz-tv/sharon-osbournes-vile-would-lie-17481274

https://edition.cnn.com/2019/12/27/entertainment/sharon-osbourne-house-fire-assistant-video-trnd/index.html

…but not the panellists or audience. No, that degenerate pack of “me too” rabbits were all laughing and clapping at the harridan’s “anecdote”. For them it was funny. In ancient Rome, torture of animals and people in the arena was funny.

In our unfree country, I am not allowed to publish what I think should be done to all those in that studio, laughing at the economic and psychic exploitation of the employee in question. You, my readers, will have to imagine what I think should happen.

What I can say is that the UK needs a real and deep cultural purge, starting with the “celebrities”, the TV “comedians”, the whole radio, TV and print mafia.

Here’s another example of why Britain needs a cultural purge, in fact a cultural revolution:

In fact, that magazine, Teen Vogue, has in the past printed material supporting mentally-disturbed “antifa” bastard and violence-inciter Mike Stuchbery, who was quite falsely puffed in the magazine as an “historian”…I wonder what sort of (((people))) run Teen Vogue? I think that we can guess: “them”.

Re. Stuchbery, I have previously blogged:

Foxhunting

While the fox-hunt is a colourful spectacle, redolent of Old England, Trollope, Surtees, Galsworthy, Evelyn Waugh etc, it is now morally and socially indefensible.

If the hunts are unwilling to move to pure draghunting, they must be closed down forever.

[above, the young Millard, c.1958…]

“Manchurian Candidates”

That, above, is in the USA. What about the UK?

I have often mused, in the past decade or so especially, about how and especially why the UK population seems so supine.

  • Cut real pay back hugely? No reaction.
  • Destroy the Welfare State bit by bit? No great interest or resistance.
  • Make people work unpaid hours, whole days, be “on call” evenings and weekends? People just accept it (and I don’t mean just doctors, emergency personnel etc. People who work for undistinguished colleges, office bods really, etc…).
  • Close down 300+ courts, many hundreds of police stations, 500+ public libraries? Not worth resisting, it seems.
  • No free speech? No-one interested.
  • Continuing invasion of the UK by black/brown (etc) hordes (13 million in 22 years)? Not of much interest to the majority, despite the fact that pay, benefits, housing, transport, public security etc are all negatively affected, and hugely so.

What the hell is going on?

What Is Under Our Feet?

I was just reading this:

https://futurism.com/2018-looking-back-century

The perhaps vulgar term “futurology” is better than the publication’s chosen one (“futurism”, which is easily confused with, well, “Futurism”…  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futurism)

We can take coal out of a mine, but we can never put it back. We can draw oil from subterranean reservoirs, but we can never refill them again. We are spendthrifts in the matter of fuel and are using our capital for our running expenses. In relation to coal and oil, the world’s annual consumption has become so enormous that we are now actually within measurable distance of the end of the supply. What shall we do when we have no more coal or oil!” [Alexander Graham Bell, speaking in 1917].

We see from the above that even the greatest inventive minds often predict incorrectly. “Peak oil” has been predicted for over a century. The only certainty is that any specified commodity is limited in quantity, at least on this planet.

There again, the reality is that, for all human exploration and scientific discovery, we do not know a great deal for sure about what lies under our feet. The deepest mines in the world go only about 2.5 miles from the surface of the Earth, while the deepest natural caves go not even as deep as that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deepest_mines

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deepest_caves

Of course, most of us “know”, having read it, or been told it at school, that the Earth is composed, at most basic, of Crust, Mantle, and Core. The Crust is supposed to be between 20-30 miles thick (Continental; Oceanic 3-6 miles). Some estimates say 43.5 miles at thickest.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth%27s_crust

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Structure_of_the_Earth

The deepest mine is 2.5 miles deep (it is planned to go 1-2 miles deeper). So the deepest below the surface any human being has actually been is maybe 3 miles, whereas the Continental crust is as much as 43.5 miles. So human beings have only been one-seventeenth (or one-fifteenth) as deep as the extent of even the crustal zone of the Earth.

The deepest boreholes on Earth still go only about 8 miles deep:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travel_to_the_Earth%27s_center

Human ideas of what lies below the Crust rely on a mixture of observation, analogy, mathematical, physical and chemical experimentation, surmise, and simple speculation. The deeper the layer, the less is actually known.

The inner core was discovered in 1936 by Inge Lehmann and is generally believed to be composed primarily of iron and some nickel.

The liquid outer core surrounds the inner core and is believed to be composed of iron mixed with nickel and trace amounts of lighter elements.

Recent speculation suggests that the innermost part of the core is enriched in goldplatinum and other siderophile elements.[29][Wikipedia]

Note the language: “is generally believed to be“, “is believed to be“, “recent speculation suggests that…” and so on. That is not to disparage the immense amount of work done by highly intelligent and qualified persons, but the bottom line is that they do not know.

We have seen that human intrusion into the Earth, even remotely (via drill) goes only 8 miles deep. The radius of the Earth is taken to be 3,963 miles. So humans have only penetrated 1/495th into the Earth (and by actual human visitation, 1/1321). We do not really know what is there.

There have been alternative views of what lies deep in the Earth. Rudolf Steiner postulated a number of layers (I think nine) under the surface:

https://www.bookdepository.com/Interior-Earth-Rudolf-Steiner/9781855841192

He claimed to be aware of these layers via his clairvoyant gifts.

There is no conclusion to this brief article. I just wanted to remind myself and others that there is a huge amount that we do not yet know about the way our world is.

Diary Blog, 18 December 2019

Welcome to my diary blog, which will probably be published on a near-daily basis from today. It will contain political and social comment, mainly, but may also include music, art etc.

Anything requiring more length or structure will be put into a separate blog article.

I saw a tweet (see below), which shows how many of those on Twitter are in a relatively small echo-chamber. The tweet contains an “exit poll” taken on the recent Polling Day, and asks for which party the voter voted. The result (of over 68,000 responses): 64% Labour, 20% Conservative, LibDem 7%, 10% Other. So Labour was overvalued at about twice its real national vote-share, Conservative Party undervalued at less than half what it actually received on that day, the LibDems also undervalued at 7% instead of the real figure of 11.6%. As to “Other, 10%”, well Brexit Party got 2% in the actual election, Greens got about 3%, then there were SNP, Plaid, the various Irish parties; so “Other” may have been accurate overall, something which evidently cannot be said of the main Twitter poll.

The lady further below the tweet understands what an “echo-chamber” Twitter is:

This made me smile:

“@mojoss55/Maureen Fitzsimmons” used to follow my Twitter account. “Three degrees of separation”?

“and now for something completely different…”

Labour Party leadership

Rebecca Long-Bailey [Lab, Salford and Eccles] has been put forward as a candidate for Labour leader. She is in the Corbyn camp.

I do not know much about her at present, but what I do like is that the Jews on Twitter etc all seem to hate her. A good sign! Also, I like the fact that she is not one of the many “silver spoon” MPs (both Labour and Conservative): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebecca_Long-Bailey#Early_life_and_career

I shall do a separate blog on the Labour leadership contest once all candidates are known.

Labour leadership (again)

Just took a look at Oddschecker and it appears that Rebecca Long-Bailey is favourite in the betting market. All the Jew-Zionist claque on Twitter is attacking her. Looking good…(from my perspective). I of course am not a Labour supporter, but their rank and file are at least generally better than the selfish, moneygrubbing “Conservative” ones, with their parasitic buy-to-let investments, inbuilt family life-advantages etc.

So the Jews are attacking Rebecca Long-Bailey, the usual msm drones are attacking her, the System talking-heads too. She must be one of the best candidates…

Of course, these msm talking heads (let alone the Jew element) are scarcely objective. “They” want to retake control of Labour, so that it can be “controlled opposition” again, and if it comes to it, a (((controlled))) government as well.

In fact, all this talk about “would Labour be electable under a socialist Labour leader?” (as distinct from a more “social-democratic”, or even “Con-lite”, one) tends to neglect the fact that:

  • The Labour vote collapsed from 40% to just over 32% at the General Election, true, but that was only a partial collapse. Three-quarters and more of the Labour vote held, despite the years of System and especially Jew-Zionist vilification of Labour and especially Corbyn, which campaign became almost hysterical near Polling Day. Jews, we were told, were sitting on their suitcases, waiting either to make a last despairing bid to get to Tel Aviv or awaiting the knock at the door and the train to the East. Yeah, right… Contrast that with the mostly very soft msm treatment given to Boris-idiot over 20 years. (and I should have thought that, were any of the “Jews are scared of Corbyn” stuff true, it would have encouraged more people to vote Labour!).
  • Statistical work done since the General Election shows that, had only 18-24 year old voters voted, the Conservative Party would not have a single MP anywhere in the UK. That does not necessarily mean that they will vote Labour next time, or that the next wave of 18-24s will, but it does make me think that the coming mainstream of voters will want a more radical agenda than the System preferees such as Keir Starmer or Lisa Nandy are willing to offer.
  • The next general election will not only have all those present 18-24s or most of them voting Labour (probably) but also the next wave of 18-24s (and they might be more inclined to use their vote if Labour has a radical leader).
  • The next general election will have far fewer Conservative voters, as older voters (and most Conservative voters are old) fall victim to “old age, sickness and death” (Buddha’s description of the Primal Karma of humanity).

The recent General Election win for the Conservatives is unlikely to be repeated for the above reasons. This may be partly why they are tightening up on voter registration etc. The boundaries of constituencies are being changed too.

Looking at the above, the smart move for Labour, counter-intuitively, might indeed be to have a (younger and) very radical leader. Corbynism without Corbyn. After all, someone such as Rebecca Long-Bailey has no baggage from the 1970s, 1980s and generally; and the Jews can hardly play the “we are all so scared” card again and with a woman aged only 40-something (she is 40 at present).

By the way, Salford and Eccles was previously represented by disgraced expenses cheat fraudster, Blair-Brown acolyte and Labour Friends of Israel drone, Hazel Blears:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hazel_Blears#Expenses_scandal

I do not know whether Yvette Cooper will try to become Labour leader. She would be disastrous: pro-Jew, pro-Israel, with a history of formulating and getting passed poorly-drafted legislation, often very repressive legislation too.

Yvette Cooper is a virtue-signalling “refugees welcome” hypocrite and idiot who, with her equally bad-news husband, Ed Balls, pretended that they would be offering their home(s) to migrant invaders, while urging others to do the same (which they never did, of course; cf. Lily Allen). Perhaps she did not understand that most British people do not have several houses. She and Ed Balls made mucho money out of the British taxpayers when they were both MPs. They now have several properties, none occupied by “refugees”.

The family, which includes their three kids, live in a £650,000 terrace house in Hackney, East London. They also own a £900,000 North London house and a property worth £230,000 in Castleford, West Yorkshire. (The Sun & Daily Mail)https://www.spearswms.com/ed-balls-net-worth/

To cap it all, Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper may have been lucky to avoid prosecution for fraud:

Wars and rumours of wars

Large-scale wars do not start without warning. There are always rumblings from the telluric depths first, sometimes for years.

It would be madness for the UK to fight Russia. Russia may not be the old Soviet Union, but it can still put up to 4 million men (and women) in the field, if need be. That’s including reserve forces. 900,000+ are active; many of those are front-line forces.

Britain’s forces total just over 200,000, of which only a small fraction (perhaps 40,000) are both active (non-reserve) and front-line.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Armed_Forces

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Armed_Forces

Similar proportions in respect of naval, air, strategic rocket forces etc.

The fact is that, if the UK gets involved in a war with Russia, the UK will be devastated. Glasgow (which is near the Faslane base), London, the major ports etc. There would not be much left. That may be true of some Russian target areas too, but the old Soviet Union was 92x the (geographic) size of the UK, and even the present Russian Federation is about 70x the size.

Before you cut, measure seven times…

Jesu Christi!

Just when you thought that Diane Abbott could not do more to destroy Labour with most present UK voters, the stupid monkey comes up with this!

I am convinced that the mere existence of Diane Abbott, at least as Shadow Home Secretary, lost the Labour Party a million votes at the recent General Election.

The Swedish Sickness Contaminating The Rest Of Europe— What Is It?

Sweden examined, as social democracy becomes multikulti dystopia

This, below, was sent to me earlier this year via “social media” and is about the emergent Swedish dystopia. I reproduce it (with covering note) exactly as I received it:

@ianrmillard this was the Gab post (just another thing about the Swedes)

I was an exchange student in Sweden a few years back. It was weird, creepy and depressing. There was an ever present ambience of fear in the people. A cult like monoculture of political correctness and complete cognitive dissidence. Cars burning, gang shootings, skyrocketing rape, robbery etc etc etc. This stuff was almost unheard of 20 years ago there. I am ethnically Asian (chopsticks rice… you know a real Asian) that’s why I wanted to see the Nordic culture while I was working on my thesis. I quickly found out that there is more Nordic culture in Minnesota then in Sweden. All I saw were hijabs, kabab kiosks and menacing gangs of MENA kids/dudes roaming the streets. The creepiest part was how the ethnic swedes were reacting to the shitstorm around them. Swedes would talk about anything except for what was relevant. Of course I got called a racist for asking questions. Yeah me the Asian guy who’s married to a Jewish girl with mixed kids. Okay so what’s important in Sweden? Glad you asked: Putting guys in prison for not having a WRITTEN CONSENT when they change sexual positions with ie their wife during sex… I shit you not! Please look it up! How about firing dudes for refusing to wear a pussy hats at work or putting a 75 year old woman in prison for speaking her mind about immigrants sexually assaulting her. Oh yeah let’s not forget about the 91 year old man who got convicted too. Swedish media is so monolithic, controlled and polarized that it make Vox look unbiased. My whole Sweden experience can be summed up as a fucked up Stephen King movie where it is never day or night. Just a somber Kafkaesque fog of melancholy and fear emanating from the walking dead as they lumber around in cold rainy darkness. So depressing. BUT WHY!?

Forget the Americanisms, the poor grammar, the spelling mistakes etc. I am no longer shocked that something like the above could flow from the pen of someone (anyone) with, as it seems, a “doctorate”. Forget all that. Focus on the main issues.

First of all, I concede that I have never actually been to Sweden, unless you count that time, now amusing for me, when I was refused entry to Sweden at the port of Malmo. Yes, Sweden at that time (1982) actually refused entry even to bona fide visitors, let alone to hordes of migrant-invaders!

This blog post is about more serious general matters than my own occasionally picaresque life experiences, but in outline, I was going to Helsinki and decided to get a ferry from Travemunde Skandinavienkai, which at that time was on the border of the DDR (East Germany) and West Germany [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travem%C3%BCnde], to Malmo; My idea was then to meander around the whole of the Gulf of Bothnia to Finland, hitch-hiking until I reached Helsinki. The sort of decision one probably has to be quite young (I was 25) to make…Anyway, my “plan” was shattered by a Swedish immigration officer, who decided that I had insufficient funds to be allowed into their social-democratic paradise. I was cast out (in effect deported, back to West Germany) and to this day have never seen Sweden (or Finland) except on TV and film.

I had seen odd TV documentaries about Sweden, and had read one rather critical book in or about 1970, but my idea of Sweden was of somewhere fairly socially advanced, technologically advanced, environmentally conscious etc. Modern shoebox-shaped white concrete and glass institutes, clinics etc, staffed by beautiful blonde girls in white uniforms, would pretty much sum up my idea of the country. This was long before the books and films of the Nordic noirs, of detective Wallander and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (which, particularly the Wallander TV series, pretty much ruined my view of Sweden).

Over the past 15 years, not only Wallander etc spoiled my mental view of Sweden and its society. I heard, at second-hand, about the gangs of immigrants making life hell for many Swedes, especially young ones having to interact with the invaders (including “invaders” born in Sweden…) in the neighbourhoods and schools of Gothenburg (Goteborg) and Malmo.

Since then, Sweden has been invaded on an even bigger scale by huge numbers of fake “refugees”, who in many cases actually turned down offers of asylum in Germany and even Denmark in order to reach Sweden.

Not that the invasion by non-Europeans and consequent social near-collapse is confined to Sweden. The Netherlands, Germany, UK, France, you name it.

Sweden, though, seems to have gone mad to an even greater extent than “Western” Europe (Central Europe too). Swedish society has perhaps been softened up by decades of social-democratic and “liberal conservative” government. “Anti-racism”, ever more mad feminism, some bastard progeny of self-flagellating Protestantism turned secular, perhaps.

In fact, a great deal of the whole debate in Sweden about the migration-invasion has been poisoned by such hand-wringing fake altruism. These people take pride in destroying their own race and culture in the name of some secular “saintliness” which is based on them lying to themselves and others. Look:

Pathetic bastards who probably think of themselves as well-meaning, or as the French say, bien-pensant.

The Jewish element is at the forefront of the encouragement of migration-invasion. There are quite a number of Jews in Sweden, mostly in Stockholm. Some are subsidized propagandists working away to destroy Europe’s race and culture. One of the most notorious is the appropriately-named Barbara Lerner Spectre:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbara_Lerner_Spectre

Wealthy Jew-Zionist institutions support her and other Jews like her: https://www.schusterman.org/users/barbara-spectre

and she is now well-embedded in Sweden…https://ejewishphilanthropy.com/educator-barbara-spectre-receives-kings-medal/

We have seen at least two of the roots of the Swedish sickness (Protestant do-good-ism turned secular, and the Jew-Zionist “Messianic” element), and they fit in perfectly with the evil Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan:

http://www.westernspring.co.uk/the-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-the-genocide-of-the-peoples-of-europe/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi

but to those two already-noted strands must be added the social-democracy that ruled Sweden for so long. It gave Sweden many positive things, but in the end was simply unable to defend the Swedes against incursion by degenerate and alien forces.

Sweden went from being a rather socially-conservative society in the pre-WW2 period to being more liberal, with a relatively generous Welfare State in the 1950s and 1960s, but then fell into widespread degeneracy socially, sexually and politically in the 1970s. After that, Sweden’s superficially-successful but internally decadent society was unable to say no to the immigrant hordes.

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” [Matthew 7:6, King James Authorized Version].

Now Sweden is facing an existential threat:

Even the above documentary from RT [Russia Today] contains misplaced though understandable compassion (a European trait, after all), but remember that Biblical quotation…

Sweden is not in fact the source of the degeneracy and evil sweeping across Europe, but it is, arguably, the most contaminated EU country from the migration-invasion point of view. It merely shows in exaggerated form the same influences and effects that exist in other parts of Europe (and especially the EU states). What marks Sweden out is the authoritarian pro-multikulti State apparat, which has even taken away children from parents thought to oppose the migration-invasion. Also, the “journalists” in Sweden are almost all completely dependent and docile. We see the same situation in the UK, as with the scandal of Pakistani Muslims (mostly) sexually abusing young English girls. The same non-response from social workers, police, the compromised political element, the drug-abusing msm “journalists” etc.

“Race is the root-stock, culture is the flower.”

The future of Europe is in the balance.

Update, 9 October 2022

Well, nothing much has changed (for the better) in Sweden since I blogged the above except that the Sweden Democrats [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden_Democrats], akin to perhaps UKIP/Brexit Party/Reform Party in the UK, and to the AFD in Germany, did well in the September 2022 General Election: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Swedish_general_election; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Swedish_general_election#Voter_demographics, with particularly high support in the 18-21 age group, which is heartening.

The Sweden Democrats are now the third-largest party in the Riksdag [73 seats out of 349; the largest party, the Social Democrats, have 107].

Also, the air in Sweden may be cleaner if (as I read somewhere) the evil Barbara Lerner Spectre has actually returned to Israel. I do not know whether that is so, however. She may still be in Sweden.

Slightly naive.

Also, the Youtuber above refers to the Jew Shcharansky (a one-time Soviet refusenik) as “Russian“, a cardinal ideological error. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natan_Sharansky

It is all very well saying that the Spectre creature is a harmless crank, but in Sweden she has obviously had considerable influence, has received royal decorations from the infested Establishment etc.

I agree with him, though, as to the difference in attitude between [the most fanatical of] American Zionist Jews, and actual native-born Israelis (“sabras“): see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2020/02/02/the-jews-i-met-at-an-oasis/.
