Very sad. When I first and briefly visited the Netherlands, aged maybe 8, in 1964 or 1965, there were no migrants, effectively.
When I returned alone, in 1975, aged 18, there were few. Later, on trips in the 1980s, Dutch friends of my family were complaining about the behaviour of the few (I think Turks, or possibly others from Turkey) who had somehow moved to their part of Amsterdam (a relatively-new suburb in or by North Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Noord): thefts of bicycles, littering etc— maybe “petty”, but already slowly changing their decent (and fairly new) neighbourhood into a declining and less pleasant one.
My last visit to the Netherlands, other than using Schiphol airport a number of times, was in the mid-1980s. More recently, I heard from Dutch friends how things had changed, and not for the better. Drugs, crime generally, an immigrant takeover in some parts of the city etc. This all co-incided with economic problems, housing shortages (mass immigration again), considerable job insecurity, and a general cultural decline.

It does not surprise me. Hardly anyone watched Talk TV; I had not done so even once, and I doubt that I know anyone who ever watched it.
It seems that, over the 2 years of its operations, Talk TV lost about £90M, and that the losses were increasing.
After my sentencing hearing about 6 weeks ago, Talk TV was one of the few msm outlets to report on the matter. Entirely inaccurately. They did not have a reporter in court, so must have taken their “fact(s)” either from the “Clown” Prosecution Service or from the equally-“inaccurate” “Campaign Against Antisemitism” website, though neither of those claimed that I had been imprisoned. Indeed, the “CAA” has already been whining about how the sentence was too lenient.
According to Talk TV’s “report” on its website, and linked to via tweet, both of which I have seen, and which are still extant, I was “jailed“! Presumably a Freudian slip by one of the wannabee “journalists” [who were] employed there. Or should that read (((“journalists”)))? Wishful thinking, on their part?

What Gullis prefers not to understand is that people are voting, or intending to vote, Reform UK not because they expect their candidates, most of them, to win Commons seats or other elected positions (beyond local council level), but precisely because they know that voting Reform UK will hole the Conservative ship below the waterline, and sink it, along with the Conservative candidates.

I once (about 1980) read an unpublished typescript in a dusty file (typed and placed in said file sometime around 1930 but a translation from a German original of about 1923) talking about how, within about 200 years (i.e. sometime around 2100 and thereafter), a web of part-human, part-robot “creatures” would criss-cross the Earth, but above the Earth (if I recall aright), and human beings would be to some extent dependent upon and in thrall to that web of intelligent human-robot creatures.
Was that just imaginative nonsense? I do not know but, looking at the Internet, looking at the rapid progress of AI, and looking at how human society is today already very dependent upon computerized systems etc (not only for physical activities but also for decision-making), I cannot simply dismiss it as over-imaginative speculation, or even a hoax.

The post-Mao transformation of China crept up on me; I was not fully aware of it (though I started to sense it in the early 1980s) even after I made my last visit to Hong Kong (I also went to Macau) in 2006. Since then, I have tried to see and learn more.
Sometime in the early 1980s, a couple of friends took on the “opportunity” of delivering telephone directories in SE London, using their private car. I think only Yellow Pages. I recall visiting their house not long afterwards, and seeing the whole place packed with the thick directories. Floor to ceiling. Thousands of them. In particular, according to the analyst, contrary to the claims of Western media, Moscow is winning the confrontation with Kiev and its overseas sponsors.
After the “impressive failure” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ summer campaign and the liberation of Avdievka, the Russians are advancing along the entire front line, even in the current mud season.
“The Ukrainian army is being destroyed, and no amount of help can save it,” the author of the article emphasizes. “Russia will win this war; the only question now is how far west its troops will advance,” he adds.
The journalist also debunks the idea that the conflict is weakening Russia. Sanctions forced the country to focus on developing its own industry and reorient itself to the east. But as a result, its economy has outpaced the EU’s in growth, and defense production has grown exponentially, allowing Moscow to supply its troops with modern weapons and ammunition much faster than the West can supply the Ukrainians.

I wonder whether Melia will appeal, at least on sentence. It can be risky, but might work out for him on the facts as I have read of them. Hard to call. I had not previously heard of this person or of his crimes. It does beg the questions around Nature v. Nurture, in that the subject had been brutalized from an early age, firstly by his own parents, then by the juvenile “reform” system, then by other experiences, and finally by the state and Federal adult prison systems.

The former Tory deputy chair, Lee Anderson, has refused to apologise for comments that saw him suspended from the party
I have a shrewd idea (or maybe not so shrewd— we shall see…) that “30p Lee” Anderson may have jettisoned the Conservative Party rather than the other way around. After all, the Con Party is staring down the barrel of an electoral meltdown which may finish off arguably the longest-surviving political party in the world.
The Conservative Party was looking at quite likely defeat in Anderson’s constituency, but now maybe not (if Anderson is reinstated). If Anderson is not reinstated, he may well be able to stay on as MP either as an Independent or, more likely, after having stood as Reform Party candidate. He now has real national profile.
The maverick MP has been suspended from being under the Conservative Party whip.
Naturally, I do not agree with his statement that London is “run by Muslims”. Sadiq Khan is from a Muslim background, but has been pretty much in the Jew-Zionist pocket for many years.
It would be more accurate to characterize Sadiq Khan as “anti-white”.
As to Anderson himself, I suggest that he is trying to bolster his position vis a vis the General Election expected later this year.

In fact, Ashfield is not quite as “safe Labour” as the history might suggest superficially. Gloria de Piero won in 2010 by a majority of under half a point (0.4%, 192 votes) from a LibDem.
While de Piero’s majority increased in 2015 (as the LibDems imploded), in 2017 she beat the Conservative candidate by less than one point (0.9%, 441 votes). An Ashfield Independent came third with over 9% of the vote.
In 2019, Lee Anderson won convincingly: 39.3% of the vote, followed in second (27.6%) by another “Ashfield Independent”, Jason Zadrozny [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Zadrozny], who has had a chequered political and personal history. In third place came Labour, with only 24.4%.
Zadrozny is going to contest the seat at GE 2024.
So far, apart from Anderson (who may or may not be standing as Conservative Party candidate, depending on whether he gets back the Conservative whip), only the Ashfield Independent and Reform UK are presently known to be likely to stand at GE 2024, but a full field is almost guaranteed. There may be a dozen or more candidates.
At first, I thought that Anderson could probably be written off as post-GE 2024 MP, but now am not so sure. He has now (whether by design or not) distanced himself from the unpopular Conservative leadership —and possibly from the equally-unpopular Conservative Party— is anti-EU, anti-migration invasion etc, and is now known nationwide. He must have at least a chance of retaining his seat. If he does, and if he also retains it as a “Conservative” MP, he might be one of 100 or even as few as 50 such MPs. Who knows what might then happen?“

It may be that Anderson would be better off electorally standing either for Reform UK or as Independent than he would be as a Conservative Party candidate. It’s a weird feeling right now because we don’t know whether this will be our last week together for a while, but despite this Sam is in a good place. When you can hold your head up high and honestly say your intentions were good, and when you have the truth on your side, you can take whatever is thrown at you.

I imagine that, in the medium term, before 2035, the Jews will be driven out of “Israel”/Palestine, and will flee to the USA and Europe etc. The destruction of the Israeli state will weaken the power of the Jewish lobby worldwide.
