Well, this week I beat political journalist John Rentoul again. He scored 4 and two-thirds out of 10; I scored 6 and two-thirds. I suspect we both knew only (the same) two out of the three jazzmen in question 5. I did not know the answers to questions 4, 6, and 8 (though I came close on question 8).

At first, the rockets sent by the Palestinian resistance were little more than fireworks, but over the years and decades the technology has improved. It seems that now at least some of those rockets are quite powerful.
Israel, for all its military might, and for all its money, and its control/influence in other countries, is doomed in the long run. Demographics alone, in the region as a whole, would seem to indicate that.
Israel may have powerful weapons, including nuclear ones, but those weapons may not be enough to save it, in the end.
These are Hamas militants entering an Israeli neighbourhood. Unprecedented images from Israel right now. The attack is ongoing. pic.twitter.com/yoh0pFLL5Y
Perhaps a foretaste of what will eventually happen on a far bigger scale.
This is guerrilla warfare on the streets of southern Israel. The images are chilling. Many dead, and many hostages taken. Israel seems to have been taken completely off guard. It is a full fledge war. #Israel#Gazapic.twitter.com/FP3tw9tld5
Salah al-Arouri, one of the leaders of Hamas in Lebanon: we are holding a large number of hostages, among them high-ranking Israeli officers. International intermediaries have already contacted us.
Cleverly, with all the erudition and wisdom of his “McDegree” in Hospitality Management, explains that firing rockets etc at civilian habitations is “terrorism”. Unless, of course, the shooters are British or American (or Israeli), and the civilians Palestinian Arabs, Iraqis, Afghans, Serbs or (in WW2) Germans etc…
There is a high probability that the invasion from the Gaza Strip is just a diversionary maneuver, and a much more powerful invasion will follow from the north, by Hezbollah forces – Senior Lieutenant of the Israeli Defense Forces Yigal Levin.
I have to admit that I would never have guessed that the Arabs would be able both to co-ordinate such attacks and also keep the date and time of them secret. Presumably, the Israelis were also not expecting this.
Israel's military leadership unanimously agreed that the only proportionate response was a full-scale ground operation in the Gaza Strip – Israeli media
Again, quelle surprise— Israel almost always hits civilian targets.
Hamas commander Al-Arouri: We had information that Israel was planning a military operation against the West Bank and Gaza Strip after the Jewish holidays.
Possible/plausible “conspiracy theory”: the Israeli ruling circles knew of the Hamas plan, but allowed it to happen, “throwing under a bus” their own Jewish inhabitants, in order to be able invade Gaza as a form of “self-defence”. That is what, mutatis mutandis, Roosevelt did before and after Pearl Harbor.
Lebanese Hezbollah has gone into “standby mode” and UNIFIL forces (the UN peacekeeping contingent in South Lebanon) have moved to its bases, Israeli Channel 12 reported, citing sources.

Hundreds of thousands of Israelis are being drafted into the army. Israel is preparing for the possibility of conflict on several fronts at once, reports a Fox News special correspondent in Jerusalem.
The Israeli media is spreading criticism of the authorities for the situation with the unexpected Hamas invasion.
The Haaretz newspaper, citing sources, writes that Israeli intelligence services concluded on the eve of the war that the Palestinians do not want it. pic.twitter.com/Q6vrJakcak
What is important about the events of the past 24 hours is not the statistical rate of attrition, not the damage done, and not even which side eventually “wins” in the short term (bearing in mind Israel’s huge military superiority, that can hardly be in doubt), but the fact that an incursion like that seen has happened at all.
Hamas has broken something now— the sense of effortless Israeli military might, and the idea that any invasions or incursions into Israeli territory will be slight, only in one area, and easily repulsed.
In the longer term (i.e. after 2023), that may prove to be the most significant fact about these events. The Palestinian Arabs now know what is or might be possible, no matter what Israeli/Jewish repression follows the current events.
This may just be the beginning of the end for Israel.
“The failure of Europe to keep pace with America has taken its toll on living standards. The average EU country is now poorer per head than every state in America bar Idaho and Mississippi.
The latter, the poorest state in the Union, is often referred to as America’s Third World but — with an average per capita annual income of $50,000 — the citizens of Mississippi are better off than their counterparts in France.”
[Daily Mail]
While I am no fan of the EU, the above is a typical example of how journalists twist the facts. Yes, per capita, France is “poorer” than Mississippi, but that is merely a headline figure.
In France, citizens get free and, until recently, quite good education, not only free at primary and secondary level, but also at tertiary level— universities, les grand ecoles, institutes etc. In Mississippi, higher education has to be paid for, either in cash or via student loans.
In France, medical and dental care of high quality is available via a hybrid State insurance system with a safety net for the unemployed, elderly etc. Hospital wards were done away with 40+ years ago. In Mississippi, there are areas without much healthcare at all and, despite Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare etc, health insurance is almost essential, if you or your employer can afford it.
Then there is the finance-capitalist system generally, and how it results in inequality of capital and income. In France, despite inequalities, there are relatively few people in grinding poverty; not so in Mississippi, where the top few percent take most of the money.
Beware of what newspaper scribblers tell you.
Andrew Neil not only should know better, he does know better. Dishonest.
“Residents ‘gobsmacked’ as horse and carts race through Bournemouth.
Footage sent to the Echo shows youths sat on the back of a cart attached to horses in the Lower Gardens, underneath the flyover at Pier Approach.
Concerned residents feared there could have been injuries or even a fatality if the horses had hit somebody, so phoned the police.
One resident, who asked to remain unnamed, was walking around the town when he came across the bizarre sight on Saturday, July 22.
‘I was just concerned because had there been a little child, or pet, or mother with a pram came running down, the horse would have gone into them and there could have been a fatality.’
The man said it was the first time he had seen anything similar in more than 30 years of living in Bournemouth.
However, he didn’t want people to have negative attitudes towards travellers.“
[Bournemouth Echo].
Isn’t that so typical of England in 2023? Nuisances, in this case “travellers” (Irish “tinker” “gypsies”), make life difficult and less pleasant (and potentially dangerous) for normal citizens, but nothing is done about them, the police do nothing, and even the concerned citizen who reported them felt obliged to say that no-one should have “negative attitudes” towards the nuisance group.
The System propaganda, endlessly pumped out by most msm outlets, by schools, by the churches (what’s left of them), and by MPs (especially Labour ones) has seeped into the thinking of many many people.
When I started this blog, nearly 7 years ago, I thought that the UK could be saved; now, I feel less sure every day.
[so-called “travellers” causing chaos in Bournemouth]
HS2 was a wrongheaded concept anyway. The high-speed train idea is OK in much larger countries such as France or China, or very elongated countries, such as Japan. Chile would be ideal. Not in the UK, unless the train were to go London to Scotland, or maybe to Penzance; the present plan is London to Manchester via Birmingham.
The Eastern route (to Leeds) has gone. There never was a Cornish route, and anyway the existing rail line would not be strong enough to take such trains beyond Exeter.
The HS2 project should have been scrapped a decade ago, and the money spent on providing more services and more branch lines in the North.
As it is, the project will be delivered in the 2030s (maybe), at ruinous expense, at ruinous environmental cost. Already the construction has scarred the landscape, destroyed ancient woodland etc.
[HS2 ground preparation scars the landscape near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, in 2021]
All so that a train currently taking 1 hr 22mins to Birmingham will take 52 mins in the future, a saving of 30 mins. Oddly, the reduction in (fastest) travel time to Manchester will be less— 1 hr 40 mins instead of 1 hr 54 mins, a saving of only 14 minutes.
It is just not worth the money and the environmental damage.

The public are currently subjected to endless propaganda for the LGBTQXYZ agenda, masquerading as “sports news”.
I switched on BBC TV News recently, for the first time in a while, only to find that most of the broadcast was taken up with a report about some women’s football game in Denmark.
Women’s football is being heavily pushed by the “usual suspects”. No-one had even heard of women’s football a few years ago, not as a mass spectator sport. It now turns out that many of the women footballers are lesbians.

Either Israel will eventually be hit by nuclear missiles from Iran or elsewhere, or it will fall apart internally, and then be subject to an uprising by the ~7,500,000 Palestinian Arabs who live at present corralled in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank areas, and inside the boundaries of Israel itself. The Arabs, as a population, number about the same, or only slightly fewer, than the Jews living in Israel.

Wagner PMC fighters may attempt to invade NATO territory
According to the Polish vice-marshal Kaminsky, the "musicians" will carry out a military operation to attack the territory of Poland in order to "test NATO" for a response.
Dangerous territory both metaphorically and literally. If PMC Wagner were to attack Poland, that would presumably be taken to be an incident triggering Article 5 of the NATO Treaty (because presumably an action ordered by the Russian Government). Likewise, were Polish forces to attack official Russian or Belarusian forces, or to enter Ukrainian territory, there might be direct conflict between Polish and Russian forces, also probably triggering Article 5.
Sensible heads must rethink this conflict, and especially the increasingly frenetic NATO aid to the Kiev regime, before all Europe goes up in flames.

The police are wasting endless man-hours snooping on Twitter, and on blogs such as this, but seem to want to ignore the deterrence and detection of real crime, which is their core job.
Naturally, the police have always had a degree of discretion in how they perform their duties…
…but ignoring a fight in the public street, a fight following a shop theft just down the road, would seem to be taking a laid-back attitude rather too far…
In “peaceful” (?) Lancing, Sussex, too.
I once visited Lancing, about 28 years ago, in order to complete a SCUBA course at a dive centre which I believe no longer exists. Pity. It had a proper dive-instruction pool, i.e. not just a swimming pool.
That pool looked just like an ordinary, fairly big, indoor swimming pool, but was very different in that about a quarter of its length was only about 4 feet deep, but the rest of the pool was about 30 feet deep. The depth went straight down from 4 feet to 30 feet.
30 feet might not seem terribly deep (and ordinary recreational divers go down to depths of 70 feet) but when you are 30 feet down, and then the instructor deliberately pulls out your air supply and throws it over your shoulder (to test your ability to recover the regulator and start breathing again without panicking or striking out madly for the surface), it seems a long long way down.
I passed that test (and the course) but I admit that, for a split second, I had wanted to get to the surface no matter what. You have to overcome your own unreasoning fear, and overcome it in an instant.
Lancing, what little I saw of it from and to the little railway station (the course lasted two days, and I stayed at a B&B by the beach, close to the dive centre) seemed pretty quiet. As I say, though, that was about 28 years ago.

"The Minister said pics of cartoons and animals must be removed and that staff should make sure they are painted over, as they give an impression of welcoming, which Mr Jenrick didn’t want to show."
I am completely opposed to mass immigration and the cross-Channel migration-invasion, but that is just cruel and petty, and rather depressing.
Jenrick had an oddly-stellar if very brief career before he became an MP. A student at Cambridge, at Philadelphia, and at an expensive private law school (once a “crammer” institution, I think) in London, followed by qualification as solicitor at the rather late age of 26: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Jenrick.
Wikipedia says nothing about his parentage or family. It is fairly clear, though, that he must come from a background of considerable wealth.
After having qualified aged 26 as solicitor, in 2008, Jenrick worked for about 4 years in London and Moscow for two of the most prestigious American law firms: Skadden Arps, and Sullivan & Cromwell. He was then appointed a director of the Christie’s auction house. Quite something at the age of only ~30/31.
Jenrick, elected as MP in 2014, was already appointed PPS (to Esther McVey) in early 2015, only just over a year after becoming an MP. PPS to several other ministers followed, and then he became Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury in 2018 (aged 36) and was appointed a Cabinet minister the following year, aged only 37.
Despite that superficially stellar start to his career(s), I have never seen anything very intelligent said or done by Jenrick, and he is a total puppet of the Jewish lobby:
“On 26 July 2019, he said, “I want tackling antisemitism and ensuring that the Jewish community feels protected and respected to be one of my priorities as Secretary of State”.[17] In September 2019, he said, “I will use my position as Secretary of State to write to all universities and local authorities to insist that they adopt the IHRA definition at the earliest opportunity… and use it when considering matters such as disciplinary procedures. Failure to act in this regard is unacceptable.”
[Wikipedia].
“In January 2020, Jenrick spoke at the Conservative Friends of Israel Parliamentary reception and told the audience that he would “look forward to the day” when Britain’s embassy in Israel will be “moved to Jerusalem”.”
[Wikipedia]
“In June 2020, Jenrick faced questions over his links to a Conservative donor after it emerged that he met an Israeli businessman, Idan Ofer, with an interest in the future of a multibillion-pound project that Jenrick, then exchequer secretary to the Treasury, was overseeing. Ofer stated that the £10,000 donation via his Quantum Pacific business was made at the behest of Conservative Friends of Israel, of which Jenrick was a member.[38] Jenrick later said that Ofer was a family friend.”
“On 14 January 2020, Jenrick approved a £1 billion luxury housing development of 1,500 homes on Westferry Road, Isle of Dogs, proposed by Richard Desmond, a Conservative Party donor and owner of Northern & Shell. A Government planning inspector had advised against permitting the scheme, as it would not deliver enough affordable housing and as the height of the tower would be detrimental to the character of the area.[46] When Jenrick approved the scheme on 14 January, he knew that an approval by that date would enable Desmond to avoid having to pay a council-imposed infrastructure levy of between £30 and £50 million, which could have been used for funding schools and health clinics.[47][48]Tower Hamlets London Borough Council then pursued a judicial review against Jenrick’s decision in the High Court, arguing that it had shown bias towards Desmond. It was also reported that Jenrick had helped Desmond to save an additional £106m by allowing affordable housing at 21%, instead of enforcing the local and London-wide planning policy requirement of 35%.[49][50] This could have resulted in a total discount (and subsequent loss of revenue to the Exchequer) of approximately £150 million.[50]
In May 2020, Jenrick did not contest the judicial review, conceding that his sign-off of the scheme was “unlawful by reason of apparent bias”. He also confirmed that his approval had deliberately been issued before the new CIL policy could be adopted. This meant that Jenrick was able to avoid disclosing correspondence relating to the application in open court. His planning permission was quashed by the High Court, which ordered that the matter was to be decided by a different minister.[51]
Jenrick maintained that although the decision had been “unlawful by reason of apparent bias”, there had been no “actual bias”.”
“In June 2020, Jenrick was described by Baroness Deech as breaching “the guidance on planning propriety” over his management of a planning application to build a national Holocaust memorial, which she described as controversial. The MHCLG, Jenrick’s department, took control of the approval process from Westminster Council days after he met the project’s main backers, including Gerald Ronson.”
[Wikipedia]
Again, the said Ronson is a Jew and, despite having a criminal conviction for fraud, very well-connected with government, being head (“Founding Chairman”) of the Jewish strongarm and snooping organization, the “Community Security Trust” [“CST”]: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Ronson; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_Security_Trust. The CST receives tens of millions of pounds annually from the government, i.e. the British taxpayer.
“Jenrick is a member of the Parliamentary Conservative Friends of Israel group.[68][69] In July 2019 he spoke of his visit to Auschwitz concentration camp; “It had a huge impact on me and in particular because my wife is the daughter of Holocaust survivors from modern day Poland and Ukraine.”[17] Jenrick has said his connection to the Jewish community forms “a very important and integral part of my life”.[17]
[Wikipedia]
“Jenrick is married to Michal Berkner. She is nine years older than Jenrick[71] and is the child of Holocaust survivors.[72] She is an Israeli-born and US educated[73] corporate lawyer who practises mainly in London. The couple have three daughters, whom they are bringing up in the Jewish faith.[2][74][18]
He owns two £2m homes in London, one of which is a £2.5m townhouse less than a mile from the Houses of Parliament. He also owns Eye Manor, a Grade I listed building in Herefordshire which he purchased for £1.1 million in 2009.[75][76] His constituency of Newark is 150 miles (240 km) from his ‘family home’ in Herefordshire.[77] He rents a £2,000-a-month property in his Newark constituency,[25] which is paid for by the MPs’ second homes allowance.”[78]
[Wikipedia].
The leitmotiv of Jenrick’s political career has been a tangled skein of what at least appears to be corruption tied-in with Jewish interests.
His mean little action in re having ordered those murals painted over is odd, bearing in mind that Jewish interests and individual Jews have always been and still are in the forefront of encouragement of mass immigration into the UK (and Europe generally). I can only suppose that it was a public relations ploy that backfired.

The time to speak is now. A communist takeover is slyly being implemented, they’re very clever but they don’t fool everyone. Good will triumph over evil 💪
“Communism” here is just a label for a power-takeover. Many think of “Communism” in the sense of the Marxist-Leninist socialist/communist movements of the 20thC— red flags, Lenin, Trotsky, bas-reliefs of Marx, Engels and Lenin, Soviet power complete with displays of tanks etc.
“Soviet power” was, to some extent, and in the earliest phase almost entirely, hatched by secretive Western groups, mainly Jewish.
What is happening now is something different, but still with the theme of power-elites subjugating the populations of the world. “Lockdowns”, “15-minute cities”, removal of car ownership, removal of the freedom conferred by cash, everything to be online, monitored, controlled etc.
Not far down the line— microchip implants, and then control by AI robots and systems. All facilitated using sophisticated methods of psychological control, making the population collaborators in their own enslavement. This was tested out across the world during the “Covid” “panicdemic”/”scamdemic”.

James Bond
One TV executive told GB News: “I think the days of a white Bond are over I’d be particularly surprised if it was a white, clipped, upper middle class English actor”
But why? Isn’t that who the original role of James Bond was created for?
The James Bond character was of course absurd, albeit brilliantly so, and Ian Fleming knew very little about real intelligence work, despite having been made, via his family connections, Personal Assistant to the Director of Naval Intelligence (and given an instant naval officer rank) during WW2: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Fleming#Second_World_War).
Fleming was an early example of the type of which we now see frequently, especially in UK politics. Talked a good game, full of unmerited confidence (born of his family money, Eton education etc), but pretty ignorant, and more of a bullshitter than anything.
Having said that, the James Bond character of Fleming’s books, twisted and moulded by the film-makers, took on a life of its own (the James Bond of the books is a rather unpleasant and bitter character, more like Fleming himself, in fact).
The films, at first very loosely based on the Fleming books (though later not based on any books) have become, over about 60 years, a quite major industry; they reflected, however distortedly, a definite Englishness. Now, like England itself, the James Bond concept and character has pretty much been stamped out of shape. A pity, in a way.
Why not? The books are based on a British white male, not that I have anything against black actors, but why must every white role be replaced by black? Goodbye James Bond, it was nice knowing you.

AI and robotics will finish the process. Untold millions of British and other workers will fall into unemployment and poverty, because their labour will not be required, having been largely replaced by ever more sophisticated machines. Without pay, and dependent on State benefits, they will be unable to buy the luxury, or even basic, products of the AI/robotics economy.
In those circumstances, “basic income” schemes will be brought in (we already see a crippled version of that with the UK’s “Universal Credit”).
In the end, in the title of the David Icke book, there may be a”robot’s rebellion” by the human beings thrown on the scrapheap, unless the people are too drugged by the opiates of the age, i.e. televized football, pop music, “celebrity” nonsense etc.

I was just looking at the recent tweets by the very badly-misnamed “Hope not Hate” Jewish “antifascist” org. Their Twitter account has, on paper (so to speak), over 110,000 “followers”. Discounting a (?) small proportion who are either curious or those targeted by the “HnH” cabal, that leaves ~100,000 who might be (however naively and/or ignorantly) supportive of this nasty little organization. Out of a population in the UK of 70 million, only 100 thousand. About one out of every 700 people in the country. Were that 1/700th to disappear —the hard-core of “antifa” and also a far larger layer of “me-too-ers— that would be the end of the matter.
Suella Braverman
Naturally, I oppose any non-European person being Home Secretary (or Prime Minister, for that matter) but Ms. Braverman was quite correct to say that tens of millions, even hundreds of millions, given the choice, might like to settle in the UK. No matter that their presence would spoil whatever worthwhile is left of this country; the migrants themselves will not even consider the swamping effect of such further mass migration.
Already, millions have come here just in the past 25 years, as well as others in the half-century before that. Millions have also been born to all those immigrants.
Britain has already been quite badly trashed. Were tens of millions more to come, nothing decent would be left: countryside, housing, living standards, NHS, crime situation, services, roads, rail, water supplies etc.

Defence and security analyst Professor Michael Clarke explains why it could be a pivotal point in the Ukraine conflict if the city of Bakhmut falls.https://t.co/X3flQUCiPZ
It seems that huge losses are being suffered on both sides. The Kiev regime is limited in its ability to keep recruiting new fighters; already, it uses goon squads akin to old-time English press-gangs to force young men into vans on city streets and then take them to training bases.
The Russian side can recruit (in theory) millions of new soldiers. Likewise, Russia has enormous stocks of ammunition, including artillery rounds; the Kiev side is running out, and is now begging EU states for artillery rounds.

The fact that they were using fear to get people to comply with their policies should not be the focus.
The policies themselves were barbaric, murderous, insane and immoral. All involved in their implementation should be charged and punished.
…The reason I consider this particular example is that one source high up in the care sector texted me earlier regarding the Home Secretary’s comments to say “She hasn’t got a clue the damage she is doing!” They’re already desperately clinging on to staff.
A side-effect of workers moving out of care work to other work would be that care work would then only attract people with no other choices, forced to do care work by being, for example, pressured by the DWP.

That report reminded me of when I was first in Almaty, Kazakhstan (in 1996 and 1997). I lived on one of the main boulevards, Prospekt Lenina. There were frequent power cuts or, as the Americans say, “outages”.
I bought some candles for my 12th-floor Soviet penthouse apartment, and that was OK, though I nearly got stuck in the lift one day when there was a power cut the moment I stepped out of that lift, having returned from my office. The power did not return until about midday the next day, so that was a lucky miss for me.
In fact, my area of the city was not so badly affected as others, being within the “Presidentsky” district, where the then Presidential Palace and major embassies were located. Usually, the power cuts involved one or two areas at a time, with other areas continuing to receive electrical supply. Where I lived was certainly given preferential treatment, but still lost power fairly often.
I remember well that I was due to dine with three people one evening at a small and little-patronized Georgian restaurant in a quiet lane not too far from my home, a place almost in the countryside.
When the time came to meet those people, I was sitting in the empty restaurant. They arrived together, a young American in the Peace Corps, and two local Russian girls who were employed by an American organization; I had met them previously.
No sooner had they sat down than the electricity was cut off. The owner of the place, a Georgian lady called Bella, hurried to put out quite a few candles.
In the restaurant, with its wooden walls and lack of traffic noise (the lane outside was deserted), this created a kind of 19th century environment. One of the Russian girls started to play the piano which was there. Mainly Chopin.
In the candlelight, it was like being in a scene adapted from Chekhov or some other pre-revolutionary author; perhaps a country estate circa 1860 and in a Russia not yet hit by modern warfare or the shocks of violent revolution. Charmant…
Still slightly favourable on defence and “terrorism”? How? Why? The armed forces seem incapable of stopping migration invasion across the Channel, and are too small to stop any conventional invasion. The present ZOG (Zionist Occupation Government) is pledged to continue to waste billions funnelling money and arms to the Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev.
What about “terrorism”? The Muslims are not taking over the British cities via “terrorism” but via their birth-rate. The Jews continue to send their teenage children to Israel, there to be trained in the use of firearms, as well as in techniques of streetfighting, but are not even monitored (much) by the UK Security Service on their return to the UK.

Liz Truss Should Fear Homeowners and Rising UK Mortgage Rates – Bloomberg https://t.co/DBSr2c3Tzp
Some would. People whose income is well above the norm, perhaps; those on £150,000+, and who are also voting out of purely personal self-interest . Then —the largest group— those who want to vote specifically against Labour, and see a Con vote as the only effective way to do it.
Are there any other groups of “Conservative” voters now? I think not. The last 12 years have seen no effective policy or action on the immigration problem, whether in general or specifically re. the cross-Channel migration-invasion. As for that trad Con strongpoint, “law and order”, we have seen police numbers cut, courts (in the hundreds) closed down to save money, a huge backlog of trials, and legal aid cuts which have effectively denied millions the right to access the legal system.
Yes, a lot can happen in the two years before a general election has to be held, but it cannot really be said that Liz Truss has any popular mandate, and things look likely to slide even further from here: utility bills, mortgage payments, whatever may hit the UK by reason of the wrongheaded anti-Russia sanctions and military adventurism.
Even the mainly self-interested “grey vote” of pensioners and those nearing State Pension age might pause before placing their crosses next to the Conservative Party candidate, now that it has emerged that the young Liz Truss actually wanted to abolish the State Pension, and who intends to slash other benefits relied on by pensioners.

Logical, really. After all, the “refugees” get free entry to the UK as a whole, free hotel accommodation, followed by free housing, free spending money, often also free mobile telephones and laptops, free food etc, so the above nonsense just carries on the theme.
Of course, British people usually have to pay for all of the above, and also pay, in the end, for the freeloading migrant invaders.
The USA is totally Jew-ridden, really. There are exceptions, but it remains true in all the strategic areas of the society: mass media, business, politics, the legal system.

I have blogged a few times recently of the survival of the facemask nonsense among the more feeble-minded of our citizens.
Today, I went early to a routine appointment at the local hospital, a small, architecturally-pleasing place, with a very green and treed car park, and a building designed to allow hundreds of birds to live among specially-designed rocks, covering the exterior (and held in by a kind of metal mesh). The birdsong was very loud, almost overwhelming, but beautiful.
I marched in unmasked, and to my surprise was not greeted (as on a previous and recent visit) by a proffered facemask and a prim, “this is a hospital” (Oh, really? I thought that it was a Cuban piano bar…).
At the appointed department, a nervous-looking lady waited, unmasked, and reading a magazine. As I sat down at the other side of the waiting area, she picked up and donned her thick cloth facemask! At that point, the nurse or technician came to the waiting area and called that lady’s name.
As they exited, the patient said (for my ears?) “are masks still compulsory in the hospital?“, to which the nurse said “no, not any more. The policy has been changed.” Shocked silence. The nurse then continued, “but you can wear a mask if you want“, to which the lady quickly replied “ooh, well, I would be glad to wear it if you like“, obviously gagging to be effectively told to continue to wear the mask.
In one small incident there, you see the pathology of the facemask nonsense: the wish to be regulated and controlled, the virtue-signalling, the censorious attitude to facemask non-wearers, and the wish to have them controlled. The pathetic grovelling to authority was patent.
There is a small minority of nutty people to whom the facemask nonsense has given a kind of spurious self-identity. I saw another one a couple of days ago; a cyclist, in the open air, riding along an empty road, while wearing one of those thick black wraparound cloth facemasks seen on Boris-idiot and Starmer.

The real core vote for both of the main System parties is around 25% of that part of the eligible electorate that actually bothers to vote. The aim, for both parties, is to get another bloc of voters, between 10%-20% of that whole, to bring their actual vote to between 35% and 45%, and so probably achieve a Commons majority via FPTP.
Both main System parties now have a further aim— to prevent their core vote from dwindling at a time when the voters either hate them or despise them, as well as seeing them as useless.
The volatility of the electorate should be good news for social nationalism but is not, because there is no credible social-national party. Look, for example, at the candidates for the upcoming Wakefield by-election: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Wakefield_by-election#Other_parties
As for Labour, it is up to those old Blairist, Jewish-lobby, tricks again: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Wakefield_by-election#Labour_Party, but has a good chance of winning the by-election in view of recent events both nationally (Boris-idiot, “Partygate”, continuing mass immigration and migration-invasion, cost of living etc) and locally (the former Conservative Party MP, a Pakistani, is now in prison, having been found guilty of the sexual assault of a teenage boy: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imran_Ahmad_Khan).

Please could people stop interviewing Matt Hancock as though he’s a valued member of society with something useful to contribute.
The only time and place it’s ok for him to be interviewed is in a police station following his arrest.
