That idiot is such a hypocrite that he probably does not know that he is a hypocrite.

Incidentally, reading Clooney’s entry in Wikipedia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Clooney], I realized that I have seen not one film or TV series featuring him. That must be why I was puzzled, many years ago, when I kept hearing things about him on the TV; I was thinking “George Clooney? Who’s that?“.

He has good taste in domestic property, though. His house on a river island at Sonning, Berkshire, is very classic (Georgian), and in a beautiful location across the Thames from some of the grounds of the school I unwillingly attended in the nearly 4 years 1970-1973; and his house on Lake Como, in the Italian Lakes region, is also beautiful and in a beautiful place.

The evil and yet idiotic “SAGE” “scientists”, msm “me too” groupthinkers, and UK “health” bureaucrats would have been right at home in early Renaissance Italy, insisting that the Sun goes around the Earth and describing the truth as “heresy”.

State “quiet killing” of hundreds of thousands of elderly people thought of, by the State, by ministers and by most MPs, as simply “surplus to requirements”.

I examined some of the history of “democracy” a few years ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/15/has-parliamentary-democracy-as-we-have-known-it-until-now-had-its-day-in-the-uk/.

“Jack Monroe” attracts the very worst supporters on Twitter, perhaps even worse than the “FBPE” loonies. Her core “constituency” is not “the poor”, but the unpleasant and/or mentally-disturbed.

I think that there are at least half a dozen regular “Jack Monroe” Twitter “sock accounts” regularly posting while she pretends to be “taking (another) rest from Twitter”.

It took me a while to realize the extent of it, but my opinion now is that “Jack Monroe” is, or has become, an outright fraud.

Incidentally, the new book by “Jack Monroe”, Thrifty Kitchen (which seems to consist, judging from what one reads in the msm and on Twitter, of recipes from the BBC and other sources already available for free online), is not selling.

At present, according to the Amazon Book Sales Calculator, only a few dozen copies a day, if that (about 600 per month) are being sold on Amazon (which must be the major outlet). In fact, nearly new copies (the book was only released a few weeks ago) are available on Amazon for as little as £7.

I was interested to see the reviews on Amazon. The 5* ones (about 70%), may or may not be genuine, and have only a handful of up-votes each, suspiciously, whereas the 20% of reviews awarding only 1* (with some wishing that they could award zero stars) have hundreds of up-votes: 400, 500, or more. Telling.

All the same, 498 utter mugs are still signed up on Patreon to send her a total of between £1,743 and £21,912 per month (probably in the region of about £5,000, realistically). The very silly, or outright loonies, I should imagine.

That composer, of whom I had never heard until today, seems to have been one of the millions displaced by the large-scale disruptions and dislocations of the 20th Century.

Stray thought about the NHS

I suppose that, as usual, I have to preface my remarks by repeating that I do favour the core principle of the NHS, i.e. that it should be free at point of use.

Beyond that, I was just trying to think of any other service or product which is defended mainly on the ground that it is free or cheap. Air travel using “low-cost” rubbish airlines, such as Ryanair? I suppose that that is one.

I understand that what people do is pay a ludicrously-small amount (eg £50, £20, or even £10) each way for the flight, but then have to accept that everything usually provided gratis is charged for, and that the flight will land a long way from where you really want to go, such as “Paris Beauvais” airport (Beauvais is 55 miles from Paris) or, I think in the past, even “Paris Amiens” airport (Amiens is 160 miles from Paris by road or rail).

Still, I see the point. Hard to complain about £10 each way London (Stansted) to/from La Rochelle, even if the service etc is near rock-bottom (though I concede that I myself have never used Ryanair). Incidentally, La Rochelle Airport is right by the city.

Ryanair is very successful, so people obviously buy into the concept at the prices on offer. See also: https://www.ryanair.com/flights/gb/en/flights-to-france.

What else do people accept almost purely on the basis that it costs little? Not much, I think. State primary and secondary education? Possibly.

Still, Ryanair flights do arrive as promised, much of the time. Can the same be said of the NHS? I fear not, or often not, these days.

No-one (except perhaps the ultra-wealthy) wants to swap the NHS for an American-style system, but there are alternative systems that might be examined. What is not helpful is for people to shout out meaningless slogans about “our NHS” etc, to refuse to see what a poor service it is often —not always— offering now, and to refuse to think about how (beyond simply funding it better) the NHS might be improved.

Interesting. Is that a ploy to get “Boris”-idiot back? Or maybe some of them want sinister “let’s bomb Russia” candidate Tobias Ellwood as PM. That would solve all our problems— permanently…

While it is true that Labour are only popular by default, in a basically unfree and binary system, they are still well ahead at present.

I am not so sure that the Conservative Party might not be electorally better-off ditching the Indian money-juggler, and even going back to “Boris”-idiot, but better not that latter; they really need someone relatively untainted, and someone British/English, i.e. not non-white. That might not save them completely re. the next general election, but it might be enough to produce a hung Parliament.

I sense that Labour is, even in these conditions of shambolic incompetence in government, not truly “popular”, but many people are becoming desperate for something. If only there were a proper social-national party, credible and organized, but there is none.

A new Conservative Party leader would mean yet another unmandated or unvalidated PM, the fourth since 2015 (or fifth, if you include the first two years of “Boris”-idiot). What price “democracy”?

Great Continental Rail Journeys

Was just watching one of those Michael Portillo rail journeys on TV, Vienna to Trieste. Interesting. Vienna railway station looks better now than the old one that I saw a couple of times in the 1980s.

More interesting to me was when Portillo mentioned that, in the several decades before the First World War, the population of Vienna had increased by 5x, but that the Jewish population of Vienna had increased by no less than 35x! That explains much.

The six cities of Europe with the greatest (absolute) numbers of Jews today (as of a couple of years ago) are Paris, Moscow, London, Kiev, Budapest, and Marseilles. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_population_by_city.

Well, there’s a surprise (not).

Apart from anything else, older British people do not want to work for rubbish pay or, if on better pay, to be taxed through the nose so that money in huge amounts can be wasted on the sort of rubbish we saw during the “panicdemic” of 2020-2021, or on migrant-invaders posing as “refugees”, or on any other rubbish.

I agree with them (though I am now 66 anyway): I say— live on a lower spend-level, re-evaluate, live (as far as you can) off-grid (or at least cut off from the HMRC, DWP, professional and other leeches such as lawyers, accountants, estate agents etc), and plot the end of this society while seeding a new one.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11709517/Russian-casualties-Ukraine-nearing-200-000-officials-say.html

The city [Bakhmut] sits on an important confluence of supply routes and, when fighting started at least, was seen as a vital staging point for assaults further into Donbas – particularly the nearby cities of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk.

Now, though, the battle is more symbolic than practical. Most analysts agree the blood price that Russia has paid trying to take Bakhmut – thought to be more than 100 troops per day – is not worth the value of capturing it.

[Daily Mail]

Perhaps but, if that city is so unimportant, why are the Kiev-regime forces also trying so hard to win there —at the cost of a similar number of casualties, probably— ?

[state of play as of 2-3 February 2023]

Kiev remains the jewel in the crown. If Russia can take Kiev and Kharkov, the war will be almost over. Maybe later this year.

As I predicted, “Jack Monroe” will soon be supported only by loonies and the terminally naive.

Assuming that tweeter “@DaveMayhem” is not, er, “Jack Monroe” herself (she uses dozens of fake Twitter accounts).

In a way, the whole “Jack Monroe” thing has become a quite clever near-fraud, which has extracted rather large amounts of money overall.

Incidentally, that “DaveMayhem” tweeter (“Jack”?) uses the irritating Americanism “hate on“, rather than simple “hate“. Another black mark.

I have no idea whether “@ChrissieClarky” is another “Jack Monroe “sock account” or just another pro-“Jack Monroe oddity. Birds of a feather flock together, after all.

Actually, the “mental health” defence is quite clever because, first of all, it enables “Jack Monroe” to do more or less as she pleases— take money from the naive and well-meaning, drink herself silly, take drugs, spend money (mostly donated) like a drunken sailor etc; secondly, it gives a “reason” for the above defaults and, thirdly, makes any critics (or even those just trying to get their money back) seem like “bullies” and “trolls”.

When “Jack Monroe” closes down her Twitter account (as she has done at least three times even in the last few months) her supporters blame “trolls“, “bullies” etc, rather than noticing that, that way, she can avoid answering embarrassing questions about her extraction and misuse of money…

I see plenty of the well-meaning saying that “Jack Monroe” should stay off Twitter, and/or get “help”. Why would she do that? It has been Twitter, and her whole social media facade, that (together with msm promotion) has built her “career” as a supposed champion of the food-poor, and has given her (via Patreon etc) an income of —at least— several thousand pounds a month and possibly as much as £40,000 a month, but probably around £6,000 a month.

There were at one time 800 “mugs” paying “Jack Monroe” between £3.50 and £44 a month via Patreon alone! Partly due to Jewish TV cook Nigella Lawson’s promotion of her; Jay Rayner, the Jewish restaurant critic, was also applauding her at one time, but seems to have belatedly seen the light in recent months.

Even at time of writing today, 497 utter mugs are still signed up to her Patreon “grift”. That is actually a couple more than yesterday! Average (?) £10 a month = about £5,000 a month. A “nice little earner”…

Back in May 2022, “Bootstrap Cook” was threatening all and sundry (including MP Lee Anderson) with her Jewish lawyer, but since then the lawyer in question (Mark Lewis), who may or may not be retained at present, has not emerged from his kennel to bark at anyone, at least not publicly, and it is now pretty obvious that, despite more “Jack Monroe” Twitter lies from time to time, Lee Anderson and Martin Daubney are not going to be sued by her.

Peel away the lies from “Jack Monroe” and there is nothing left, it seems.

I begin to think, looking at him now, that he is possibly part-Jew; not sure.

Good point.

Refers in part to a book, an anti-white diatribe called White Women.

Incidentally, I took the trouble to look up the book in question. It was published a couple of months ago, and presently ranks at about 19,000 in the Amazon bestsellers list. Using the Amazon Book Sales Calculator, that implies sales of only about 200 books worldwide per month. Not very many, but I bet that the “wokes” and the “you-know-whos” (((you know whos))) are getting it into the libraries of schools, colleges, and universities, mainly in the USA. The age differences are disturbing, though.

Brainwashed by the msm? Or (and/or) can they not see what might be the ultimate consequence?

Most horse racing in England does not involve cruelty these days. There have been many advances in the care and welfare of horses over the years, though minor improvements are still necessary. Rather disturbing that so many seem to think that such a traditional part of British and especially English life should be banned.

Part-Jew nasty little blot, George Osborne, talking about how great is HS2, and how good things such as the motorway system have been. There is a contrary view.

I myself remember, when aged about 21 (1977-78), the sections of the M25 in Surrey still largely unbuilt. At that time, I lived near the top of Reigate Hill, very easy walking distance from what is now the roundabout/interchange at Junction 8 of the M25. The M25 running east from there was nearly finished, but the bit running west was still being constructed.

Indeed, as a child (early/mid 1960s), I recall an England almost entirely devoid of motorway. In many respects it was better that way, though I concede that that may be regarded as a “Little Englander” or even “Luddite”, point of view.

When the motorway system was put in place, driving long distances became much easier. However, a certain character was lost, and that loss continued and deepened in the 1990s and up to the present day, made worse by the cancerous growths of new housing projects (“boxes for people”, if you like). I suppose that anyone under 40 —or even 50— would struggle to understand, though.

It makes me laugh how so many of the ill-informed and ignorant on Twitter believe that an action in defamation can be launched easily and with almost-guaranteed success. Few understand even the basics of defamation, or of the economics of litigation.

Would the British people not have been much better off without corrupt Kurdish carpetbagger Nadhim Zahawi? Some tweeters live their lives without logic.

…and, actually, “carry on” doing what, exactly? Ripping people off, while cobbling together occasional recipes for appalling food?

Ukraine— stray thoughts

Let us take the probably-mistaken idea that “Ukraine is winning” to the max, to the reductio ad absurdum. Let us suppose that the forces of the Kiev regime expel Russian forces from all of pre-2014 Ukrainian territory, including Crimea. What then? Does Russia, or Putin, just accept that? Is that the end? I think not.

Ukrainian forces cannot cross the borders of Russia, even marginally, without provoking not only a response from the Russian Government but also from the Russian people, who would then be “triggered”, as people now say, to defend “Holy Russia”, their native land or “rodina“.

For the first time since the incursion/invasion of 2022, the Russian Government would then enjoy almost-unqualified public support in fighting the invading forces of the Kiev regime.

It is unlikely, though, that the Kiev-regime forces can in fact expel Russian forces from Ukrainian or former Ukrainian territory. Russia has a far greater population, a functioning economy, vast economic resources, and a nuclear backstop.

The logic seems to be that either Russia prevails in the present conflict, or that it is pushed out, only to then return with far greater numbers and might within a year or two.

In the end, Russia will annex Ukraine east of the Dnieper, whatever happens in the meantime. Unless a major East-West hot war starts first.

…and what on Earth will it accomplish to stand in the street with a placard? Ha ha…

I think that I shall self-censor at this point…

Ellwood again. The “Conservative” MP from some kind of diplomatic or intelligence family background, who is now a colonel in the Reserves (TA, as was) 77th Brigade: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobias_Ellwood; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/77th_Brigade_(United_Kingdom)#Activities.

Why? Because the Jew-Zionist element always tries to destroy freedom of expression, particularly for non-Jews. Wake up.

Jesus H. Christ!

Still, if we had any real social-national party or movement, an economic shock like that might be a gamechanger politically, just as the 1929 Wall Street Crash and the consequent/subsequent Great Depression was for Hitler and the NSDAP.

The NHS 111 service is near-to-useless.

I favour a free-at-point-of-use NHS service, but only for British people, not for “health tourists” and all manner of riff-raff. How such a service can be funded is an open question. How such a service can be staffed is another question. The aim should be for the UK to train its own doctors and nurses, for one thing, and they should be forced to work in the NHS, and not allowed to emigrate to the white Commonwealth or elsewhere, for several years (in the case of doctors, perhaps 10 years).

Back in the 1970s, even 1980s, despite many Press stories about deficiencies, the NHS did work, most of the time. Now, mass immigration and NHS maladministration has ruined it.

Management, or rather mismanagement, is one of the really major problems with the NHS.

I see that the propaganda campaign is being readied to pretend to the public that they, the public, are to blame for the NHS not working properly, because they, the public, are actually requesting the services that the NHS is supposed to provide.

This winter, the NHS will not easily be able to blame the 2020-2022 “Covid” “panicdemic” for its inability to run itself properly, and it has been 3 or 4 years since other illnesses or conditions (eg “flu”) were blamed (almost every winter for many years).

If and when the UK has a real government, it must tackle the healthcare mess and the associated adult social care mess as a priority.

One idea might be to use a “dedicated” or “ring-fenced” tax only for the NHS. “National Insurance”, which is merely another tax on top of income tax, is paid into general government funds. If it, or a large part of it, were only usable for health services, the taxpayers would accept it far more readily, especially under a suitable name such as the unoriginal but easily-understood “Health Services Tax”. It is claimed that that would be less efficient; I think not.

Another point: blaming the consumer, or worker, or citizen, now seems to be “a thing” in the UK.

NHS not working right? It’s because Joe Public actually has a medical problem and wants it dealt with. Water shortage? It’s the fault of the public, because they actually want to have a bath or shower, and to water their plants. People cannot live on peanuts? It’s their fault, for being unable to “budget”, or cook, or enjoy “fasting” (going without food— yes, the Daily Telegraph suggested even that recently).

England, my England

I was sent the following short video by a regular reader and commentator on the blog.

Worth watching. The comments below the film (if seen on YouTube) are also worth seeing.

It seems that the plan to demonize people like the character in the film backfired; the BBC has never shown the series again; neither is it available on DVD.

Sea level rise

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/aug/10/east-antarctic-ice-sheet-in-our-hands-climate-action

Interesting report on the situation in respect of the main ice sheets, namely the East Antarctic, West Antarctic, and Greenland.

It seems that, were they to melt completely, the global sea level would rise by 7 metres Greenland Ice Sheet), 5 metres (West Antarctic Ice Sheet) and East Atlantic Ice Sheet (52 metres). A total of 64 metres, or in my preferred metric, about 210 feet.

A sea-level rise of 210 feet would be truly apocalyptic, even though it would probably take place over several hundred years.

The UK has an average height above sea-level of about 531 feet, but within that is a peak of 4,413 feet (Ben Nevis) down to towns and cities at, or close to, sea-level.

For example, much of London would be flooded in that scenario: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest_points_in_London.

On a less apocalyptic level, if the Greenland Ice Sheet were to melt entirely, which might (or might not) happen by 2100, that would result in the seas rising by up to 24 feet, in itself enough to drown a large number of major cities around the world.

I once lived at Little Venice, London, which I believe is about 60 feet above sea level. Much of Central London as well as the Thames-side areas would be flooded by a 24-foot rise.

My problem with many of the predictions is that they are made with an agenda, to make people believe that some kind of “zero-emissions” strategy, even if carried out only in Europe, or even only in the UK (the UK being responsible for only 1% of global emissions) would halt the melting of the ice of the poles. I doubt it.

The world is in a state of constant change, sometimes gradual, sometimes catastrophic. Humanity lives on the surface of events which it can do little to alter.

The most ridiculous story of the month?

A crowded field, but I nominate the declaration by unpleasant comic Eddie Izzard that he is now a “woman”, and henceforth demands to be termed “her” and “she”. Possibly even more ridiculous, even the supposedly reactionary Daily Mail has complied with the demand: see https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11100935/Eddie-Izzard-takes-inspiration-Zelensky-fresh-bid-MP.html.

The Mail goes on to describe the Jew dictator Zelensky as “a comic who becomes a good leader“. “Good leader“?! Ha ha!

More seriously, once you start lying about such basic things as what actual sex people are, truth, which is the foundation for any decent society, starts to ebb away; with it, that foundation also ebbs away, until nothing works properly, and nothing can be relied upon. Britain is already some way down that path.

Ellwood is always in the forefront of attacks on Russia. He was a junior officer of the Green Jackets before he was transferred to the Reserves, taking up the rank of Lt.-Col. in the secretive 77th Brigade: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobias_Ellwood; and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/77th_Brigade_(United_Kingdom).

The Wikipedia entry mentions that Ellwood was born in New York City, and was also at school at Bonn and Vienna before attending Loughborough University (course unknown to me), the Cass Business School at City University in London, then Sandhurst.

Ellwood’s parents’ work is not mentioned in Wikipedia, but we can probably assume that it was diplomatic, or linked to diplomacy. Both Bonn and Vienna were, at the time, capital cities, and there is a British Consulate-General in New York City.

It seems that all that expensive education has been wasted on Ellwood. Does he really not see that conflict with Russia might lead to war with Russia?

I suppose that Russian forces would not waste a nuclear missile on Ellwood’s decaying Bournemouth constituency (he himself lives in a wealthy semi-rural enclave called Holdenhurst), but in the event of war, Russian missiles would more or less raze much of England to the ground. Goodbye to the Palace of Westminster, and almost everything else, in that event.

Attacks on Russian aviation in Crimea, in Belarus etc. The war may be about to enter a new phase, should the Russian forces be ordered to retaliate.

The Zelensky regime is trying to create provocations, because it knows that the only way it can avoid defeat in this war is to bring in NATO (NWO) forces on the Ukrainian side. Already, the arms shipments from the USA and UK have reached colossal proportions, and, bearing in mind that the arms, ammunition, and training are all being supplied free of charge, represent something that is not only a proxy war against Russia but also not far from being an actual or direct war against Russia.

So far, the NATO/NWO backers of the Jewish regime in Kiev have not attempted, at least publicly, to rein in the behaviour of Zelensky and his clan.

This is madness. The UK and other states have already weakened their economies and societies by the pursuit of the “Covid” “panicdemic”, shutting their economies down for months and years. Now those same societies are facing gas shortages and a huge rise in price of oil and gas.

The UK, after nominal Brexit, should have opened up friendly relations with Russia on a broad front, including supply by Russia to the UK of cheap or even cost-price gas and oil.

The fact is that those presently ruling the UK prefer to conspire with their fellow NWO operatives, implementing the strategic assault on Russia, and such other parts of the NWO/ZOG agenda such as the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan, rather than putting the needs of the British people first.

Inadequate sentence

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/man-fed-neighbours-cats-poisoned-27709264

A man has admitted feeding poisoned tuna to his neighbours’ cats in the first case of animal cruelty to be referred to a crown court.

Tristian Paul Pearson, 44, left out tubs containing fish tuna and a high concentration of ethylene glycol.

The substance is highly poisonous to felines and is contrary to the Animal Welfare Act 2006.

Two cats living nearby – Luna and Bailey – later had to be put down after eating the tuna and falling sick.

Pearson, of Bargoed, Wales, pleaded guilty to an Animal Welfare Act offence and was handed an eight month suspended prison sentence.

It was the first case of its kind to be referred to a crown court.”

[Daily Mirror].

What on Earth is the point in giving the courts a higher possible maximum level of punishment if the sentencing judge refuses, in effect, to sentence harshly enough in a plainly serious and premeditated case of cruelty such as this one?

In reality, not theory, 8 months but suspended, handed down in the Crown Court, is less of a punishment than the previous maximum of 6 months (3 months actual imprisonment) that a magistrates’ court might have imposed.

Absolutely pathetic sentence.

Tristian (?) Paul Pearson, of West Street, Bargoed, Wales. Evil bastard.

Trial backlog

I happened to see a case which illustrates the backlog in the “justice system”, a backlog caused almost entirely by the “panicdemic”.

A policeman in Hampshire has just pleaded not guilty to a sex crime allegedly committed in January this year. His case has been set down for trial at Isleworth Crown Court on 4 December 2023, nearly 2 years after the offence is said to have been committed and 16 months after committal proceedings.

When, though, will “Prison Planet” Watson carry through, identifying the group or cabal responsible for the continuing war on free speech in the UK?

In fact, the ZOG MPs in the Commons are panicking as they try to force through the fraudulent “Online Safety Bill”: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/jul/13/online-safety-bill-tories-free-speech-david-davis.

Once again, much of society runs scared from a condition which is taken care of in almost all cases by a couple of paracetomol tablets and a few days’ rest. Pathetic.

We tend to think (or used to think) that it was very odd that people, only a few hundred years ago, in the 15th and 16th centuries, were hounded and even executed for speaking in favour of a particular theory of cosmology or theology.

We in the West also thought, during the Soviet period, how odd that people in the Soviet Union or its satellites could be imprisoned, or even executed, for not going along with the “reality” imposed by a half-crazy regime.

Well, look now: many European countries imposing quasi-mediaeval laws against “holocaust” “denial” (free historical research and publication) at the instigation of the Jew/Israel lobby, while “Black Lives Matter”, “trans” activist loonies and others try to restrict freedom of expression in the USA, UK and elsewhere. Behind it, or most of it, “them”. (((Them))).

We know what has to be done, but are “not allowed” to express it openly.

Most of those girls would not have been exploited had they and society more reasoned “racism” and “discrimination”. Fact. As it was, though, they were bombarded from a young age by “anti-racist” propaganda. Behind much of it, at the strategic level? Yes, “them” (((again))).

It is still happening.

We must purge several milieux in the UK, starting with almost everyone and everything in the msm, both print and broadcast media. Not just journalist-liars and “commentators” all singing from the same basic hymn-sheet, but most comedians, many scribblers etc. Take away their rice-bowls. Close down the BBC and other TV stations. Eliminate the corrupters.

Suella Braverman

Looking at the Conservative Party leadership contest, I saw part of an interview with Suella Braverman. Unimpressive. Her knowledge-level is inadequate for the role she wishes to play. Indeed, many have said that she should even never have been appointed Attorney-General (and, with that, granted automatic letters-patent as Queen’s Counsel).

There was a time when any barrister who became an MP could apply to become QC, and be granted it on the nod, which is how otherwise unlikely barristers such as John Mortimer (the Rumpole writer) got the rank. Now no longer so.

Ironic in a way, that it is now more difficult for barristers who are MPs to apply for letters-patent to become “QC” when, for all other barristers, it has never been easier. About 10% of all practising barristers are now “QC”. Devalued, like most other ranks, titles, and honours these days.

Husband is one “Rael Braverman”. Jewish? She herself, though, identifies religiously with Buddhism, not with Judaism or her original Hinduism (mother was a Hindu, father may have been Roman Catholic, having originated in Goa).

Suella Braverman, though, must have been born under a lucky star in that, from being a run-of-the-mill barrister, she is now, only 7 years later, at age 42, in the running (in theory) to be leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister.

Even the Spectator is not too impressed by her: https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/does-suella-braverman-understand-welfare-

Pop. The sound of a balloon being burst. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suella_Braverman.

She seems to be in favour of free speech, though. Credit where due.

Tobias Ellwood

Look which gung-ho “let’s fight Russia” MP seems to lack the most basic moral courage and decency: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/jul/13/tobias-ellwood-home-attacked-after-tory-mp-ran-over-local-cat.

Drove over a cat, failed to stop, later claimed not to have known. Also showed his lack of empathy by “offering to buy a replacement animal“. What? “A replacement“?! You cannot “replace” a dear animal friend.

The Hawas family, owners of the cat, did not want to speak in detail about the cat’s death, but a family member told the Daily Mail: “We just want to mourn our cat. We want nothing to do with Tobias Ellwood.” [Guardian].

Ellwood is very tied-up with the NWO/ZOG matrix, and the Jew-Zionist lobby. He is a fairly senior “Reserve” (TA, as was) officer, attached to the rather notorious psychological warfare unit, 77th Brigade: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/77th_Brigade_(United_Kingdom); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/77th_Brigade_(United_Kingdom)#Activities.

One aspect of that report made me laugh, albeit bitterly, at the cretinous mindset of a possibly typical Conservative Party voter: “Julie Holland, 61, who lives opposite the former vicarage owned by Stephanie Hawa, also 61, was also not sympathetic to the MP. Holland, who owns a cat called Boris, named after the prime minister, and a dog called Stanley, after Johnson’s father, said: ‘It’s a disgrace. If he had done that to my cat I would have done something about it. But, she added: “I’m still a supporter.”” [Guardian].

More on the Conservative leadership contest

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11009845/Blow-Rishi-Sunak-Tory-MPs-brace-vote-TODAY.html

Results of latest Tory leadership knockout at 5PM: Blow for Rishi as bombshell poll finds frontrunner would LOSE to Liz Truss OR Penny Mordaunt in head-to-head ballot of party members – as MPs finish voting to decide who will stay in contest.” [Daily Mail].

Well, guess what? Most rank-and-file Conservative Party members would actually quite like to be led by someone who is English (i.e. white). What a surprise. They do not want a party leader or Prime Minister who is Indian, Pakistani, or African.

I wonder who these “activists” etc are? Probably “them” (((them))).

I have still not seen GB News. I doubt that I ever shall, or will ever regret not having seen it.

How? Mainly because there are groups or cabals working to destroy any vestige of national feeling in the young and very young. They have infiltrated the schools via the (often poor-quality) teaching staff.

Roma gypsies, hordes of them…

The Conservative party leadership contest is a classic example of a rigged “false choice” election. Not one candidate who is really social-national (even slightly), and most candidates Jew or non-white.

Diary Blog, 28 December 2021, with a few more thoughts about the Labour Party’s prospects

Morning music

A Jewish careerist called Mark Damazer got rid of the Radio 4 UK theme in 2006, supposedly because he wanted to put a “pacy news briefing” in its place. I myself suspect that the theme was just too traditionally British for him…

Damazer was also responsible for inflicting the often painfully-ignorant (and suspiciously Americanophile) Justin Webb on the BBC Radio 4 Today Programme audience: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Damazer; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Webb.

Quite right. That Maguire idiot is a typical System-Labour drone. No ideas about how to improve society, no proper analysis of current events, just kneejerk tribal Labourism and politically-correct infantilism, while coining as much money as possible from scribbling and being a TV talking head. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Maguire_(journalist). Oh, and of course he tends to play the “gritty and disillusioned Northerner” on Sky News newspaper reviews etc, while actually living rather comfortably in affluent Richmond, South West London (when not at his holiday home) with his (privately-educated) journalist/novelist wife: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emma_Burstall.

The “gutless, dishonest politicians” (“Conservatives”, in power since 2010) to whom Farage himself gave, in 2019, a large Commons majority (by shooting his own Brexit Party supporters and candidates in the head at the General Election).

Labour

I return again to the question of the prospects of the Labour Party now that its leadership is totally controlled (once more) by the Jew-Zionist element.

The most recent opinion polling:

Image

I recently examined the North Shropshire by-election in this regard, inter alia. This is what I wrote on the blog:

Since North Shropshire was re-dedicated in 1983, and until the by-election, Labour has failed to come in second only four times, and only once (2010) since 1992.

It is all very well to talk about tactical voting, or Labour supporters “lending their votes” to the LibDem in order to beat the Con candidate. Yes; no argument on that, but is that the whole story? The 9.7% scored in the by-election was the lowest Labour vote ever in North Shropshire. Even in 1983, at the height of Thatcherism, and when Labour suffered its crushing national defeat under Michael Foot [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983_United_Kingdom_general_election], it still scored 14.7% (third place) in North Shropshire.

The conclusion must be that, while many formerly Labour votes went tactically (or otherwise) to the LibDem, many Labour voters just voted with their feet, if such be the bon mot, and stayed home. Labour scored 22.1% in 2019, and 31.1% in 2017 (both under Corbyn) in the constituency.

If this by-election result is bad for Boris-idiot, it is arguably at least as great a blow for Labour’s Jewish-lobby leadership under Keir Starmer. The problem is not just the “Israel first” aspect of Labour’s present leadership, but also the way in which the supposed “Opposition” keeps propping up “Boris” over various matters, such as the Online Harms Bill and, of more immediate political importance, the Covid/Omicron “panicdemic” “rules” and “laws”.

No-one really can have expected Labour to win the by-election, but to fall below 10% is a straw in the wind that (in my view) is significant.” See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/12/17/diary-blog-17-december-2021-including-analysis-of-the-north-shropshire-by-election-result/.

Starmer-Labour may be doing well in the opinion polls now (is that a surprise, looking at the Boris-idiot disaster?) but we all know how volatile polls can be, and how inaccurate, especially a year or two before any general election.

It may well be that, were “Boris” to be dumped, the Conservative Party might recover ground, despite its lack of credible leadership candidates.

Labour’s basic problem remains, as seen in the graphic below, showing voter migration from the 2017 General Election to the 2019 election:

Labour’s problem is not how popular the Conservatives are (they are not, and were not even in 2019), but in how unpopular Labour is, resulting not so much in voters moving to the Conservatives, but in former Labour voters either voting for minor protest parties, or voting tactically for LibDems but, more than either of those options, simply not bothering to vote.

Look at North Shropshire: former Labour voters either voted tactically for the LibDems, or stayed home and/or did not vote for Labour anyway.

A far less significant, but still interesting, election, a local one, has just happened not far from where I myself live:

Local elections, with their small electorate, smaller turnout, and often huge swings based on local factors, are hard to forecast at times, as can be seen from the Britain Elects pre-poll analysis: https://www.britainelects.com/2021/12/23/previewing-the-last-council-by-election-of-the-year-23-dec-2021/. Still, look at the result.

The Conservative Party vote was previously around 72%, but now has fallen to 18.5%, and a poor third place. Look at Labour’s result, too; a fall from nearly 28% to 4.2%, and (as usual) last place.

A local by-election result of that sort is, at best, a small straw in the wind, but does indicate the disdain in which both main parties are held by the voting public. It looks as if the former Conservative voters mostly voted for the Independent (a local farmer and former Conservative Party county councillor), while the former Labour vote migrated to the Green Party (which was not in the last election). As for the LibDems, they seem to have been unable to find a candidate at all.

It is a matter of speculation to what extent such a local election is affected by national political factors, but I do not think that those national factors can be entirely discounted.

Labour may be favoured in recent national opinion polling, but I am sceptical as to whether it really can pull a rabbit out of the hat and achieve a Commons majority in 2022, 2023, or 2024.

North Shropshire results for the Labour Party were 31.1% in 2017, 22.1% in 2019, and 9.7% in 2021: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Shropshire_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

What about that other celebrated 2021 by-election, at Chesham and Amersham? Yes, the LibDems took the formerly considered safe Conservative seat, as at North Shropshire; the Labour results for the constituency, though, are again very striking: in 2017, 20.6%; in 2019, 12.9%, then a collapse in 2021 to only 1.6%: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesham_and_Amersham_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

Same direction of travel— a collapse in the Labour vote. True, not directly significant, in that neither seat has ever been won by Labour. However, similar decline elsewhere, in seats where Labour has succeeded in the past, could all but finish Labour as a party of government.

Of course, those who control the System do not care which of the two main System parties wins, because both parties are part of the System.

As always, I believe that a credible social-national movement —and party— could rise up, to all but annihilate the System parties; but, as always, I have to note that no such party presently exists.

A good but arguable point.

Ellwood is a sinister character.

Twin

Watched the start of Norwegian crime/drama series, Twin [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin_(TV_series)]. Slightly underwhelming; probably not quite my sort of crime drama, and the bleak Norwegian Atlantic winter (I presume) scenery I find depressing.

The oddest aspect of that series is that here we are in some remote part of Norway, and one of the detectives from the local town is an African! I know that Norway, like much of Europe, has seen a massive influx (invasion), but surely this is just grotesque? In fact, there were two more non-Europeans, one an (?) Indian woman, and also a small child whose supposed parents were both Norwegians. Why? How? No explanation offered.

Seems that the Coudenhove-Kalergi propaganda is not confined to UK TV shows…

“Boris”-idiot

Saw this by Guardian writer John Crace. Not sure of the date, but it is very good as a summary, obvious though it is:

“…Boris Johnson. If he has a talent, it’s a talent for lying. And while it may have cost him countless relationships and friendships, it has taken him all the way to Downing Street. Put simply, he has become prime minister by lying better than all the other contenders for the job. But now he has run out of road and the lies have caught up with him. He’s the cartoon villain hopelessly spinning his legs before plunging into the abyss. Brexit has failed to deliver any of its promised rewards, and inflation, at more than 5%, is far higher than wage growth. No matter how Boris tries to spin it, people are feeling more broke by the week.” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Crace_(writer)#Views]

National Service

Many of the Twitter-twits highly agitato because some Daily Telegraph scribbler has floated the idea of reintroducing “National Service” (I believe that the “Royal Cuck” has mentioned it in the past).

My view? First of all, that National Service, which ran, in the usual meaning, from 1948 to 1960 (the last such conscripts were demobilized in 1963) was not a hugely effective or cost-effective thing from the point of view of the Army (which used the bulk of the manpower). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription_in_the_United_Kingdom#After_1945

These days, it is considered necessary to train soldiers for six months or more before they are much use in action. Thus, to train millions of young men, only to release them from their obligation a year or 18 months later, is very wasteful.

Secondly, the pushback from those unwillingly recruited, then demobbed, may have been one fact fuelling the decadence of the 1960s.

Thirdly, Britain, even in the 1950s, had both an empire, albeit one being dismantled, and an enemy (the Warsaw Pact bloc, or SovBloc) which also had huge numbers of men under arms and was thought to pose a credible invasion threat to all of Western Europe.

You cannot compare the 1950s to today. It follows that, as things stand, I should not like to see National Service reintroduced. Actually, I very nearly had to do the Australian equivalent, having lived there from 1967, aged 10, to late 1969, aged 13. The SEATO Treaty then in force meant that Australian (and New Zealand) forces were fighting in Vietnam on the American side. At age 18, from late 1974, I would have been subject, possibly, to conscription, but as things turned out, my family returned to the UK before the end of 1969, and in any case Australian forces in Vietnam were slowly reduced from 1970; the last few “advisers” left Vietnam in 1974: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_history_of_Australia_during_the_Vietnam_War.

It makes me laugh, though, to see the Twitter-twits attacking Britain in the 1950s. They all seem to have three points, which might be summarized as “blacks were badly treated”, “gays were badly treated”, and “food was terrible” (because of rationing, in part).

In fact, while gay activities were unlawful, it seems that the laws were not heavy-handedly enforced; some areas (eg Soho, in London) were notorious for such activity.

As to blacks, well despite what present-day msm propaganda (eg in dramas such as Grantchester etc) portrays, there were almost no blacks (or browns) in England then, with the exception of a few ports and a few parts of London. The Empire Windrush had scarcely disembarked its passengers, and they had only just started to breed.

I myself can only remember seeing one black person in the UK before 1969, and that was an NHS consultant (ENT) at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, circa 1962.

Food rationing (a result of the terrible and completely unnecessary war against the German Reich from 1939-1945), lasted, in part, until 1954, true (and in most respects was harsher in the few years after the end of that war, because Britain was badly-damaged economically), but rapidly ceased to be part of everyday life during the 1950s. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rationing_in_the_United_Kingdom; and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rationing_in_the_United_Kingdom#Timeline.

Other aspects of life in the 1950s compare badly to life today: the lack of central heating in most houses would be one such. On the other hand, the UK population was about 55 million, compared to maybe 70 million today. The countryside was uncrowded and had hugely more wildlife (overall) than now, there was incomparably less crime (especially violent crime) in the UK, society was more stable, less volatile, and children could generally wander safely around the countryside (as I did, though a few years later, in the early/mid 1960s, both on foot and bicycle, the number of cars being only a fraction of the number filling the roads of England today). There were very few non-Europeans around.

Either way, it hardly matters now; “we are where we are“…

Dominic Cummings

Regular readers may recall that I blogged a few times in 2019, 2020 and later about the enigmatic Dominic Cummings: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2020/01/03/dominic-cummings-a-government-of-dystopia-and-lunacy-posing-as-genius/; and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/08/10/les-eminences-grises-of-dystopia/.

Well, I have just seen his more recent messaging to the British public:

This government (and its advisers) are more like a dystopian black comedy than a real one could possibly be. To what can one compare it all? Blackadder? The Goons? The Goodies?
