As previously blogged, I remain surprised at how poor has been both Iranian air defence and Iranian public protection from aerial attack.

Makes me wonder whether that was just negligence (made worse by the fatalistic and backward influence of Islam) or whether there has been some treachery and/or sabotage within the Iranian leadership.

The USA, like the UK, has in its midst a Jewish, Zionist, pro-Israel “fifth column” that has infiltrated not only business, finance, the legal world, publishing, and the mainstream media, but the highest councils of national policy. That lobby is the problem.

There is a Jewish lobby and Israel lobby (effectively the same thing) cabal in each of the main UK political parties. Labour Friends of Israel. Conservative Friends of Israel. Now also Reform UK Friends of Israel. Why Reform? Because Reform might just win the next general election, so the (((fix))) has to be in, in advance, just in case.

Should I hit the Euromillions this evening, I shall plant millions of trees.

Whatever happens in the current ME conflict, one state already comes out as a winner— Russia. The world price of oil and gas has rocketed; Russia is a major producer of both. As the USA allows its dependent “ally”, Israel, to control US actions, American credibility slides worldwide, so that is a diplomatic win by default for Russia. Finally, the missiles and other weapons going to the attacks on Iran, and defence of Israel, will not be going to the Kiev regime. Overall, then, a tripartite win for Russia and Putin.

The supposed “land of freedom”…

I got a foretaste of what is happening in the USA now when I myself was intermittently resident in (mainly) New Jersey in the years 1989-1993, and especially when the USA was about to attack, and then was attacking, Iraq: the first Gulf War, aka Desert Shield and Desert Storm, in 1990 and early 1991. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_War.

[Addendum: there are claims that that woman was arrested not for her speech at time of arrest but for an earlier street protest which allegedly obstructed traffic on another street. Maybe. Seems to be heavy-handed either way].

Video showing a visit to a village slowly or not so slowly expiring, the village being located in Russia (Siberia), about 200 miles from the border with Mongolia.

I was, inter alia, interested to see that what had once been the repair shop for a collective farm is now closed down. Also, that the one-time repair shop’s most prized piece of equipment had been a lathe, seized from Germany as “reparations” after 1945. A resident, born only in 1983, says how well it worked. So that German engineering was still working perfectly something like 40-50 years after, not its manufacture, but its arrival in the village; so it might have been 50, or even 60+ years old even in the 1980s. Quality.

That reminded me of the claim by the Jew businessman, Armand Hammer, about how he set up a pencil factory during the New Economic Policy in Russia (mid-1920s) at request of the Bolsheviks. He sourced the equipment, and initially some Bavarian engineers, from the Nuremberg area, at the time the world’s leading area for production of pencils.

When Hammer returned in the 1970s, he saw that his factory, in Moscow, was still working (under State ownership, of course) and, more than that, was still using the same German machines; even a few of his original employees were still there, half a century later.

The whole idea of the UN Security Council is that it consists only of the largest and most significant states which have real military power; states which are large geopolitical players and which, in practice, are also nuclear powers: USA, UK, France, Russia, China. All hold the power of veto.

For Starmer, the one-time criminal lawyer, what matters is fiddling around with rules and regulations, rather than trying to achieve concrete socio-political results in the real world.

The entire country, pretty much, has already come to the conclusion that Starmer is in the wrong job.

In any case, how does Starmer intend to “push for” reform of the UN Security Council when all 5 permanent members have a veto, and when, even if that could be overcome somehow, the Security Council would become a dead letter, were the USA to withdraw completely? In fact, in that circumstance, the UN itself would become a dead letter, and might as well just close down.

The military-destructive power of the USA is such that, without American agreement, most Security Council resolutions would be otiose, as would be, a fortiori, any resolutions actively opposed by the USA.

Starmer is a total waste of space.

Yes, that is one extraordinary aspect of the whole mess. The Kiev regime is presently conscripting only those aged 27+ (in theory, younger men —and women— can volunteer, though few now do). The result is that the Kiev-regime forces are full of the middle-aged, while those approaching the age of 27 desperately try to flee the country, or hide inside Ukraine, or buy fake exemption papers, or bribe doctors etc.

I can only assume that the Zelensky cabal has decided that the under-27s have to be exempted on the grounds that the Ukrainians are actually dying out, and more babies have to be born. Demographically, Ukraine has no future, even when compared to Russia, or to the countries of Central and Western Europe.

Having said that, it seems that younger men are being press-ganged, illegally. Zelensky’s “Ukraine” is both brutal and shambolic.
