Talking point

From the newspapers

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/feb/13/three-guilty-of-terror-offence-over-paraglider-images-at-uk-palestine-march

Three people who displayed images of paragliders at a pro-Palestinian march in central London a week after Hamas militants went on a bloody rampage in Israel have been found guilty of a terror offence.

Heba Alhayek, 29, Pauline Ankunda, 26, and Noimutu Olayinka Taiwo, 27, were each given a 12-month conditional discharge.”

[The Guardian]

The malicious Jew-Zionist cabals such as the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” are fuming, of course. They love to see people charged, convicted and preferably imprisoned because of “offences” supposedly “antisemitic”. The 12-month conditional discharge was manifestly a just as well as merciful sentence, though it is unfortunate that the court saw fit to convict at all.

The whining demands of the various Jewish organizations are now just becoming a bore for almost everyone, including the courts, it seems. The woodentopped police, and the CPS, are still doing what those cabals demand (much of the time), but at least the courts seem both to retain some independence of thought, and to be waking up to the essentially trivial nature of many such “antisemitism”-related cases.

How absurd to charge people with a nominally “terror-related” offence just for wearing a cartoon or drawing on their clothing! UK society has no resilience at all now compared to the 1970s or 1960s, let alone 1950s. Society is now very fragmented, and has little internal strength.

While it is true that the retail cost of housing, particularly sale/purchase prices, is influenced by a number of causative factors, mass immigration (migration-invasion) into the UK is probably now the main causative factor in making housing absurdly unaffordable; that is especially true of the housing rental market, and especially though not solely in London and the southeast of the UK.

The opposite contention, that (since 1997 alone) an influx of perhaps 15-20 millions (including births to immigrants) has little or no effect, is just ludicrous, totally illogical, totally absurd.

The upcoming Wellingborough and Kingswood by-elections

The Wellingborough by-election tomorrow is a contest among 11 candidates. Five are Independents or joke parties. The others are Con, Lab, LibDem, Green, Reform UK and Britain First (which last I have not included as a joke party out of courtesy, but they are not my idea of a proper social-national party.

The Conservative Party scored 62.2% in 2019, despite having had Peter Bone as the candidate. Ordinarily, this would be a shoo-in for the Con candidate. This time, though, that candidate is Bone’s girlfriend. There is also the fact that the Con Party nationally is falling through the floor in terms of, inter alia, popularity.

Labour last won in Wellingborough, though very narrowly, in 2001. It also came close in 1997. Before that, only in 1966. In 2019, Labour scored 26.5%, a very poor second place.

The LibDems have never achieved 20% in the constituency since they were founded, though the old Liberal Party occasionally reached nearly 25%.

The other parties can be pretty much written off in this contest. I shall be interested to see how Britain First and Reform UK perform.

The bookmakers (Betfair Politics) have Labour on evens. Not sure that is a value bet. The Cons, on 11/1, seem to be a value bet. Reform UK is at 25/1.

The Con candidate, however tainted, is however batting off from a favourable position, given that her personal “partner”, Bone, achieved over 62% last time, in 2019. Her positions politically seem to be quite close to those of Reform UK; has she shot Reform’s fox?

This, as far as I can see, is between the Con Party candidate and Labour (as a kind of protest vote). Reform UK may take away enough of the remaining Con support to help Labour in winning the contest, but I am far from certain. You would think that either Labour or (even) Reform UK would win this, in all the local and national circumstances, but I wonder. It could be close among all three.

One thing is for sure: if the Conservatives lose badly in Wellingborough, it’s “Goodnight Vienna” for them.

Kingswood, just north of Bristol, is a constituency due to be abolished; it will not exist at GE 2024. There are 6 candidates: Con, Lab, LibDem, Reform UK, UKIP, Green.

The former Con Party MP, Skidmore, has bailed out (on a not-very-plausible “green” excuse), presumably in order to get a job in the “green” sector somewhere soon. Good riddance, anyway.

It appears, according to a New Statesman report (see below) that the area is —like much of England— in steep socio-economic decline.

I doubt that the Con Party has much chance. Skidmore was, in my view, not much of an MP, and his intellectual pretensions were just that. Well, he has now gone and, bearing in mind that the seat will not even exist in 6-12 months’ time, and that the present government is despised or hated by a great majority of the public, the Con candidate is a sacrificial lamb whose only selling point is his local origin (however, the Lab candidate was also brought up locally, and even attended the same school).

The Labour candidate is the former recent Mayor of Lewisham (S.E. London), though educated locally. The voters may like his local links (though he was actually born in Cork, Ireland), and may or may not be impressed by his having converted religiously from his native Roman Catholicism to Judaism (the religion, it seems, of his gay marriage “partner”). He is pro-migration, too: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damien_Egan.

Until 2010, Kingswood was fairly firm Labour territory. As in other parts of the UK, the decline in both industry and living standards has led to a fall in the Labour vote, perhaps counter-intuitively. There again, Labour is no longer the party of “working people”, and most of those people know it.

Having said that, people despise this “Con” government, and this by-election is a pure protest opportunity, the seat going up the chimney sometime this year, so Labour must have a very good chance here.

The bookmakers have Lab at even-money, but both the LibDems and Greens are on 2/1, perhaps indicating that many are considering a protest vote for either of those. As for the Cons and Reform UK, 10/1 and 50/1 respectively.

Bookmakers’ odds are a poor way to forecast elections, though.

Kingswood is, if anything, harder to call than Wellingborough except that, at Kingswood, the Con candidate has really no chance at all. For the Cons, their vote-share will be a pure vote on how the public see them. It looks bad for them. They received 56.2% of the vote in 2019. Now? I think that they will probably end up with around 10%.

If I had to guess the result, it would probably be a Labour win, though the LibDems may have a chance.

[Update, 27 December 2024: Well, Labour won the 2024 Wellingborough by-election easily— 45.9%, with Peter Bone’s girlfriend, the pretty nice-looking Helen Harrison, on a mere 24.6%, and Reform UK getting 13%; at the June 2024 General Election, Lab retained the seat with 40.3%, a different Con candidate got 27.8%, and Reform UK crept up to 21.5%, a sign of things to come, perhaps.

As for Kingswood, the 2024 by-election was won fairly comfortably by Labour (44.9%), with Cons on 34.9%, and Reform UK on 10.4%, Reform’s candidate being the businessman Rupert Lowe, now Reform UK MP for Great Yarmouth: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_Lowe.

The Kingswood seat was abolished prior to the 2024 General Election. The reworked seat, Bristol North East, was then won by Egan, the former Kingswood MP (45.3%), with the Green in second place (18.7%), the Con on a mere 14.8%, and Reform UK on 12.9% (LibDems 4.7%)].

I sat next to a nurse (older) on a flight. I asked her about her experience during the Covid crisis. She said that “anti-vaxxers” had made things tough.

Then she stopped herself and said “of course don’t know if you might be an anti-vaxxer” I said “I wasn’t one, but the Covid vaccine nonsense woke me up”. I told her I knew a lot of injured people from the Covid jabs, and I couldn’t believe these highly novel, barely tested shots were being given to healthy, young people who stood to gain nothing from them, and that I was shocked that they were still being recommended.

She nodded in agreement and said the mRNA vaccines had been particularly bad, indicating she was aware of many people injured and killed by them.

Later in the conversation she told me that her husband had recently died of pancreatic cancer. And her son had been diagnosed with aggressive, metastatic colon cancer.

She did not appear to see a connection between the shots and the cancers. The timing of these tumors could of course, be mere coincidences, but I would have thought the question of a possible connection would be obvious. And given the frank medical nature of our conversation, I believe she would have mentioned a suspicion if she’d had one.

I find the whole encounter disorienting, suggesting a fragmented belief structure that I believe must be common amongst those getting their news from corrupted sources—the smoldering ruins of a collapsed mass formation event.”

I mostly used trains which were considered relatively safe anyway: the No.6 train, Lexington Avenue local https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6_(New_York_City_Subway_service) and, less often, the Q-train from Manhattan to Brighton Beach in Brooklyn https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMT_Brighton_Line.

LibDems are just wastes of space. There may be exceptions, but I have not seen any. Ed Davey is only marginally better than was Jo Swinson, and she was rock-bottom in every respect.

Even the old Liberal Party was mostly ludicrous in the post-WW1 (let alone post-WW2) era, though Jo Grimond was an exception: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Grimond.

Incidentally, Grimond’s memoirs are worth reading: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Memoirs-Jo-Grimond/dp/0434306002.

As to the LibDem chances in the upcoming 2024 General Election, I may be wrong but think them overestimated by commentators. Admittedly, many voters who despise the present Government and who see nothing in Starmer-Labour for which to vote may be looking for a protest vote, and some (those who do not favour Reform UK, the Green Party, or simple abstention may choose the LibDems, but I think not very many.

There are presently-Con seats where Labour has no chance, but where the LibDems often roll in second. Those seats may go LibDem, especially if Labour voters vote tactically. I cannot see the LibDems getting more than 10% overall (2019— 11.6%).

In both 2017 and 2015, the LibDems got below 8% after the years of Con Coalition. There is no possibility for the LibDems to revisit the 23% they achieved in 2010. “You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but not all of the people all of the time” [Abraham Lincoln].

However, what matters in UK Parliamentary politics is not the overall percentage, but the percentage concentrated in particular seats, which is why, in 2015, UKIP received 12.6% of the vote but only the one seat it already had, whereas the LibDems received a mere 7.9%, yet retained 8 MPs.

So it may yet be that, in the end, even on an overall 10%, the LibDems, who currently have only 15 MPs, will able to double or even treble their Commons strength.

Meanwhile, if Reform UK gets, nationwide, the same, or even 15%, it will probably end up still without any MPs.

The present pseudo-democratic system is a bad joke.

Kiev’s air defense forces are exhausted, and the West is in no hurry to help – Financial Times.

In the absence of new tranches of military assistance from the United States and the European Union, Ukraine is increasingly concerned that Ukrainian military personnel and military and industrial facilities may be vulnerable to Russian airstrikes, writes the Financial Times.

As Russia intensifies its campaign to strike energy infrastructure and other targets in Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky called on Western allies to approve new military aid packages to bolster Kyiv’s depleted air defense capabilities.

According to Zelensky, there are not enough air defense systems both on the battlefield and for the defense of targets in Ukrainian cities. Kiev admits that Russia “controls the sky.”

At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces hope that Ukraine’s receipt of American-made F-16 fighters will put an end to the dominance of the Russian air force and help resume the counteroffensive, which has so far failed to achieve any significant successes.

Not so many people want to be bothered by real problems, let alone real solutions. The masses want to be distracted by winning or losing sports games on the other side of the world, the latest soap trash on TV, the latest “reality” (unreality) TV show, or whatever.

Also, there are huge numbers of idiots virtue-signalling online or otherwise about how it is “kind” or “decent” to allow a million, or ten million migrant-invaders into the UK, or a hundred million if it comes to that. We have already had ten million, over 20+ years.

Those “virtue-signallers”, the “refugees welcome” dimwits etc are lacking the intellectual honesty to admit that that means the end of our basically decent European society, and the end of opportunities for most British people. It also means a housing crisis, a transport and roads crisis, a gradually-worsening NHS, gradually-sinking (in real terms) pay, State benefits, pensions etc, as well as educational standards falling through the floor.

From the newspapers

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/jan/07/mouse-secretly-filmed-tidying-mans-shed-every-night

A mouse has been filmed secretly tidying up a man’s shed almost every night for two months.

Wildlife photographer Rodney Holbrook noticed that objects he left out of place were being mysteriously put back where they belonged overnight.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw that the mouse was tidying up,” Holbrook said.

“He moved all sorts of things into the box, bits of plastic, nuts and bolts. I don’t bother to tidy up now, as I know he will see to it. I leave things out of the box and they put it back in its place by the morning. Ninety-nine times out of 100 the mouse will tidy up throughout the night.

Remarkable. Like something from a fairy tale or one of the Brothers Grimm stories.

I hope that the man leaves the mouse a little bit of cheese or some nuts occasionally.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/jan/07/parliament-after-next-general-election-will-be-most-diverse-ever-analysis-shows.

The study, by the thinktank British Future, projects that the number of ethnic minority MPs is most likely to rise from 65 to as many as 83, with much of this rise expected whatever the actual outcome of the election.

If the number of ethnic minority MPs does reach 75 or more, it will have increased fivefold in a decade and a half, having been just 15 out of 650 in the 2005 to 2010 parliament.

[Guardian]

White people (the people formerly termed “British”) are being removed from Parliament too now. What will be the proportion, both in the population and/or in the House of Commons (and the Lords) by 2030, 2040, 2050? Over-representation in Parliament will be plainly obvious, I think.

In any case, this is the British Parliament, and should only have fully British —in every sense— MPs and (so long as the upper house exists) peers.

I was tweeting (when I still had a Twitter account) and blogging for years about this scandal, long before most others. Incredible injustice. Cable seems incapable of seeing it, just as he did not want to see the miseries inflicted by the Con Coalition during 2010-2015. Like almost all LibDems, he is a useless waste of space.

I have, though years ago now, also criticized Paula Vennells, that dishonest careerist woman who also posed, at one time, as one of those Church of England “priestesses” of recent decades: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paula_Vennells.

I blogged recently about the fact that useless Skidmore had stepped down as MP before he got binned (his constituency disappears at the 2024 General Election, and no other constituency’s Conservative Party committee wanted him).

Skidmore is thus, as blogged previously, positioning himself to get a job heading some “green” quango or company.

Good environmental news.

Ah, a “two-front war”. I remember that…

I wonder how many are embedded in the UK political parties at Westminster.

…and the Kiev-regime navy is nowhere to be seen (because the Kiev regime no longer has a navy…).

Cheap clowning. It is what “they” do. Look at, eg, Zelensky, or “Boris” Johnson.

Eventually, they will probably flee to the USA, EU, UK etc, presenting themselves yet again as “victims”…

As Enoch Powell said about 55 years ago, “we must be mad, literally mad” [to allow this flood of uselessness].

There are so many silly people who are desperate to justify and even support mass immigration into the UK.

Goodbye, English countryside, goodbye Green Belt, and hello a tsunami of immigrants and/or migrant-invaders…

The very parts of the economy that should be in public ownership. Railways. Water supply. Energy (on the large scale). Royal Mail and post office services.

Rachel Reeves. Labour Friends of Israel member. Expenses and perks freeloader. Failed to pay back her interest-free House of Commons credit card debt for years…

Anyone who thinks that the likely Starmer-Labour government from 2024-25 will be better than the bunch of clowns currently in office is being very very silly.

Having said that, the only way to (“peacefully”) destabilize the failed two-party rigged system in the UK is to destroy at least one major party. The “Conservatives” have volunteered, by their corrupt ineptitude, to be that party. At the upcoming General Election, all that is required is for people to punish the Con Party by not voting for it. Either abstain, or vote anywhere but Con.

Tice, of Reform UK, is scarcely my kind of politician, but he has caught the mood. In a recent interview (a few days ago), Tice made the necessary point: punish (his word) the Con Party, no matter whether voting for Reform UK means more Labour MPs. Labour will almost certainly “win” anyway, and almost certainly with a large majority. Think strategically. Wipe out the Con Party by either abstaining or by voting anywhere but Con.

Good. Another total waste of space gone. I never liked what I saw about or from him.

He is also a member of the Free Enterprise Group of MPs, founded by Liz Truss, and along with Truss, Priti PatelKwasi Kwarteng and Dominic Raab, he co-authored After the Coalition (2011) and Britannia Unchained (2012). The authors of Britannia Unchained claimed that “Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world.” [Wikipedia].

So wrote a man who has never done a day’s actual or non-political work in his life. He was even useless as an MP and junior minister, getting sacked at least three times from various portfolios (despite having been one of the least rebellious and most toadying of the Conservative MP-cadre).

Skidmore tries to present an “intellectual” front, but not convincingly. He does not have the horsepower, when all is said and done.

Skidmore, though now claiming to have resigned on a matter of principle, had himself earlier said (in 2022) why he would not be continuing as MP:

On 26 November 2022, Skidmore announced that he would be standing down at the next general election, later stating in Parliament that ‘my constituency of Kingswood is being formally abolished in the boundary changes and there is nowhere for me to go.’[37][38][39]” [Wikipedia].

Translation: he has been both useless and disliked as MP and junior minister, and no other constituency would want him once his present one is abolished. In any case, there may well be few Conservative Party seats left after 2024.

Skidmore has spun getting kicked out of Parliament (by the time of the 2024 General Election) as a principled resignation, no doubt hoping to be given some lucrative and maybe environment-oriented quango appointment later. He might have been better to wait to see whether he would be in line for a peerage. No chance of that now.

Anyway, he’s off. Good.

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Skidmore; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingswood_(UK_Parliament_constituency).

It will be interesting to see what happens at the by-election, assuming that there is one before the 2024 General Election.

…and the Zionist Jews in the UK, at least those making public statements on Twitter/X and/or on msm, are following that line; as are political doormats such as Starmer and that little Indian money-juggler currently posing as Prime Minister.

Tell me about it…

“The Tories have been lying —they’ve been gaslighting the British people, promising them one thing while delivering something else altogether.

They promised “lower overall numbers” only to then send net migration soaring to levels that have simply never been seen before in British history.

They promised to “take back control” and restore Britain’s status as a self-governing nation only to then completely lose control of Britain’s borders.

And now –as the latest data shows– we can see that while they promised a high-skill, high-wage, and highly-selective immigration policy that would attract “the best and the brightest” global talent they have instead delivered the very opposite.

They’ve further pushed open the floodgates to a new era of low-skill, low-wage immigration from outside Europe —the very kind of immigration which, as the latest studies show, is a net cost rather than a net benefit to Western economies and welfare states.

They need to stop lying to the British people. They need to level with the British people and admit that what they have delivered since the vote for Brexit is the total opposite of what they promised.

The British people deserve better than this. And it’s high time somebody speaks up and gives it to them. They deserve the truth. And they deserve leaders who will give them nothing but the truth.”

…and they deserve political leaders and parties not in hock to the international Jewish lobby and/or Israel lobby.

Little Matt Hancock

I wrote the following assessment of “deadhead MP” Matt Hancock over three years ago, long before he betrayed his constituents by accepting £400,000 to go on the so-called “reality” (i.e. unreality) show I’m A Celebrity— Get Me Out of Here:

Looking at that assessment again, I have to say that it has held up rather well despite having been written over three years ago, in September 2019.

The Church of England’s latest low point

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-11473075/PETER-HITCHENS-does-Church-England-knee-football.html.

The leadership of that Church, always the first to surrender to the spirit of the age, has even advised vicars to avoid having carol services on the Sunday before Christmas in case they clash with some football tournament now raging in the Middle East.

A document called Making The Most Of The World Cup Final 18th December 2022, says: ‘Churches often hold carol services in the afternoon or evening, and this could still be possible if you choose the time carefully… but what if there are penalties?! It may be best to avoid that day altogether and host a carol service on Saturday 17 instead.’

And the grotesque Nativity play, called Greatest Of All Time, is one of ‘just a few ideas for how you could use the World Cup as a missional tool this Advent and Christmas’. I am not making this up.”

[Peter Hitchens, in the Mail on Sunday]

Pathetic bastards. They, and the Vicar of Dibley types (and/or the slab-faced lesbian “priestesses”) now found everywhere should each be issued with a toothbrush and a section of pavement to clean, as a penance.

Incidentally, the Mail is now “allowing” comments on Hitchens’ column, albeit “moderated” (monitored and censored), for the first time. Perhaps the “Overton Window” is moving a little…

The Guardians

I have continued to watch The Guardians, for the first time since it was shown in 1971. Worth seeing. It should be put on again, perhaps on some nostalgia channel such as Talking Pictures TV:

To my mind, the series was better in its first half-dozen episodes; the final two episodes (12 and 13) are a little too talky, a little contrived too, and the ending was not so plausible, but overall the series was quite creditable, if very much of its time.

Since I assessed Jack Monroe/Bootstrap Cook on the blog nearly 2 months ago, I have watched the debate about her unfold (it started in late July).

One thing that occurred to me, looking at some Twitter accounts, is that (in my opinion) several of those accounts supporting her fervently are, in fact “Jack Monroe” herself. That is purely my opinion, though based on a number of factors. The impression given is that, while many tweeters are critical of Jack Monroe, others, of various kinds, support her. Somehow, much of it does not ring true, though I concede that that is my opinion, and not something that I can call established fact.

I am puzzled why people should decide that, out of all the “good causes” out there, the one that they want to support —to the tune of anywhere between £3.50 and £44 a month each— is a young woman whose parents are apparently rather affluent, who already has several sources of income, and who is hugely better-off financially than millions of people in this country.

All that Jewish-lobby puppet and Pakistani Muslim apostate Sajid Javid wants is more power for the State, to repress the views of social-nationalism. A horrible little NWO/ZOG drone.

Neither does the corrupt Jew-Zionist dictator Zelensky. Almost funny: I saw a tweet from one of his American supporters applauding the fact that the Kiev-regime government “is 80% Jewish“.

There is truth in both points of view. Even accepting that defence is or will be necessary, a few small arms will not be very effective defence against a modern state armed with jets, helicopters, drones, tanks, armoured cars etc, not to mention large numbers of trained soldiers and police.

Ha ha. Just imagine future historians trying to work out why the Jewess Monica Lewinsky had 1.2M Twitter “followers” in 2022, when basically all she is known for is sucking her employer’s **** a few times, 40 years ago. Society is just mad, now, and that is nowhere more obvious, usually, than in the USA.

Even Ireland has gone mad.

The enemies of civilization will do anything to stop it being known or accepted that almost everything worthwhile in the world today comes from the European or, more accurately, the Aryan and post-Aryan.

Arguing or “debating” with the enemies of our culture and civilization is a waste of time. We are not in a debate but in a war, albeit a slow-burn race-culture war.

Diary Blog, 5 September 2022, with initial thoughts about the mooted Liz Truss Cabinet

Therese Coffey

It seems that Therese Coffey, the appalling woman presently Secretary of State for the DWP, is likely to be appointed Secretary of State for Health (assuming a Liz Truss premiership— we shall know about that later today).

My blog post about Therese Coffey from three years ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/09/16/deadhead-mps-an-occasional-series-the-therese-coffey-story/

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Th%C3%A9r%C3%A8se_Coffey.

More about the mooted new Cabinet

Good grief. Thick half-caste James Cleverly as Foreign Secretary?! What an incredible embarrassment and humiliation for this country, even after Liz Truss…

The others mooted? Well, we have as mooted Chancellor of the Exchequer, Kwasi Kwarteng, the “African at Eton”, who said, in a book he co-authored with others (including Liz Truss), that “Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world.” See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britannia_Unchained; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwasi_Kwarteng.

Incidentally, that book was written by 5 MPs, of whom only 2 (Liz Truss, Chris Skidmore) are full European, the others being Kwasi Kwarteng (Ghanaian origin), Priti Patel (East African Indian origin), Dominic Raab (half-Jew).

Then we have Ben Wallace, Defence Secretary since 2019 on the strength of having been a captain in the Scots Guards. Seems to think (after a few whiskys) that the now-pitiful British armed forces can take on Russia (in a nuclear war?) and “win”.

Wallace’s actual words were to the effect that the Scots Guards had “kicked the [backside]” of Nikolai I of Russia in the Crimean War (about 170 years ago) and could do it again.

Only a week or two later, Wallace announced plans to reduce the established size of the British Army by almost ten thousand: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Wallace_(politician)#Secretary_of_State_for_Defence.

Let us hope that Wallace stays off the whisky, in case he confuses 1852 with 2022 and then, while a little too merry, tries to kick Putin’s nuclear backside.

Culture— Nadine Dorries“. Need one say more?

Security— Tom Tugendhat“. Really? The part-Jew former desk soldier whose wife is a politically-connected French judge, while Tugendhat (a fervent pro-Israel drone, closely connected to the Jewish lobby in the UK) is himself a French citizen (dual French-British citizenship). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Tugendhat.

Nadhim Zahawi? He emulates the limpet. He blagged his corrupt, expenses-cheating, tax-evading way into Cabinet under “Boris”-idiot, and he will be clinging onto office no matter what.

Most of the rest on that list can be best described as deadheads and idiots.

Such a Cabinet, at such a time? The auguries cannot be favourable.

Basically, “Boris” Johnson appointed to his Cabinet those MPs with more interest in office than their own self-respect. The dregs, pretty much. What we now see is a new Cabinet which can be described as the dregs of the dregs.

Guardian political sketch

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/sep/04/liz-truss-pm-laura-kuenssberg-panel-john-crace-sketch.

Rather telling, though weakened near the end by a would-be-respectful nod to the Ukrainian woman married to the Jew dictator, Zelensky. Hard to feel sorry for a woman who, with her corrupt husband, owns at least two villas in the sun (in Italy and in Florida), one of which is apparently worth USD $40 million.

Prepping: you cannot buy survival

https://www.theguardian.com/news/2022/sep/04/super-rich-prepper-bunkers-apocalypse-survival-richest-rushkoff

An interesting report, which hits a few points or questions many of the ultra-wealthy preppers written about may have considered but not resolved. For example, once there is an existential disaster in society, once your money (whether gold coins, bank deposits, or Bitcoin etc ) is worthless, how can you ensure the loyalty of your security force?

I have blogged in the past about various aspects of prepping: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/02/03/diary-blog-3-february-2021-including-more-thoughts-about-prepping/

The snake-oil salesman becomes a gin salesman. Well, I suppose that, after all, that other —sort-of— smoothie, Ribbentrop, sold Champagne at one time…

Strange to think that, as recently as (?) 5 years ago, some people saw this egregious example of “controlled opposition” as a potential prime minister. Having said that, and after “Boris”-idiot and now Liz Truss, Farage seems relatively straightforward and capable! Our national life now must lie somewhere between Nietzsche and Kafka.

I shall not be trying Farage’s alcoholic product any more than I would his political products; I have never once tasted gin, and I do not think that I shall start now.

Very interesting, especially in view of the fact that Greta Nut’s main handlers seem to be Jewish.

I have blogged in the past about Greta Thunberg: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/09/29/greta-thunberg-system-approved-wunderkind/.

Diary Blog, 13 February 2020 (including Cabinet Reshuffle)

Scameron

I was just thinking about the unholy mess Prime Minister David Cameron-Levita left behind him in various ways: Brexit, HS2, the cretinous “reforms” of Iain Dunce Duncan Smith etc. What a complete waste of space that Mischling Cameron-Levita was. Given credit by a stupid electorate mainly because his Eton and Oxford education (and family money) made him look the part.

Laura Kuenssberg

Listened to a brief piece by Laura Kuenssberg on Radio 4 Today. Two or three egregious mistakes. One was “secretary of states” (for a group of Cabinet ministers) when she meant to say or should have said “secretaries of state”. Paid hundreds of thousands a year yet cannot get basic English right.

Cabinet reshuffle

So far, some nasty people removed:

Ha ha! Now crazed Ayn Rand devotee and Jew lobby doormat Sajid Javid has “resigned” (read, ungrammatically, “been resigned”…). Good riddance. That’s his political career gone up in smoke. Hard to imagine the idiot climbing so high again. Another “Conservative Friend of Israel” gone (but then 80% of Con MPs are members, unfortunately). Ex-Muslim or apostate Javid was almost fanatical in his pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby stance, though. He even supported the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” criminals. Great news that he is screwed!

I am the wrong sex to be a tricoteuse (and cannot knit) but I am loving this, even without an actual guillotine beside which to sit. Tsar Boris is not someone for whom I have any respect, but (as the American blacks might say) “he done good”! I love a good chistka!

Mein Gott! The (born in UK) “Paki”, Sajid Javid, may have been kicked out, but only to be replaced by the (born in UK) Indian, Rishi Sunak! A former Goldman Sachs employee. His father-in-law is a hugely-wealthy Indian businessman. India is notoriously corrupt, its politics is corrupt. There is no need for the UK to descend to such levels. Why not —here’s an off-the-wall idea— appoint white British people to the Cabinet?…

NHS

The problem at the heart of the NHS is not really money (important though that is) but maladministration.

Robert Buckland

Confirmed in his job of Secretary of State for Justice, and Lord Chancellor. Surprising. I have heard him a couple of times on TV/radio. He does not really have the intellectual horsepower. Apparently, if reports are accurate, he used the word “epitome” on radio recently, but mispronounced it to rhyme with “Rome”…not what one expects to hear from a supposedly educated person, let alone a member of the Bar. Not even in these dumbed-down times (cf. Laura Kuenssberg etc).

Alok Sharma

Appointed Business Secretary. Born in India. He attended the same school as me, in Berkshire, but a decade later. When I was there, there were no Indians (though there were two half-Indian brothers, Anglo-Indians). Sign of the times.

Robert Jenrick

Jenrick is staying on as Housing Secretary. A smug little pissant, married to a Jewish lawyer and whose children are being brought up as Jewish. A complete doormat for the Jewish Zionist lobby. An enemy of freedom of expression.

Gavin Williamson

The former fireplace salesman, who plays with his pet spider while fantasizing about taking on Russia and China with his chocolate soldiers, is confirmed as staying as Education Secretary. A pathetic deadhead who would like to be Prime Minister. Our system of political selection and election is truly broken.

Coronavirus

There is now a whole damage limitation exercise to propagandize us that China and its people and their habits are not to blame for these repeated waves of viruses which emerge from China, when China, its people and their habits plainly are to blame. Eating anything with legs, wings or fins, even if endangered species, not caring about animal suffering or depredation of wildlife. Screw the Chinese. There are far far too many of them on this Earth, which their numbers and habits are killing.

Backward untermenschen.

Reshuffle

This comment by the LibDems about the appointment of Suella Braverman might just be the least credible thing said today:

Responding to the appointment, [Daisy] Cooper said: “Liberal Democrats will not allow this dangerous, authoritarian Conservative government to undermine the rule of law and erode individual rights and freedoms.

The LibDems are even more of a joke now than they were a few months ago. No leader, 11 MPs, no policies of any interest and, of course, no power.

The LibDems are not alone in being irrelevant at present. Labour is just a joke. All four contenders are doormatting for the Jewish lobby, none has much (if any) credibility. As for Corbyn (who he?) he is marking time as lame duck leader by staying in his comfort zone, yapping nonsense about the “rights” of Irish tinker “traveller” thieves and scavengers, and the deportation of Jamaican criminals etc.
