[Germany 1945— “We are fighting for the future of our children!“]

600 in a day. Not counting those who sneak in on the backs of lorries etc. Not including the 3,000+ that entered superficially “legally”, on the same day (as “family members”, “students”, “fiances”, “fiancees”, those on fraudulently-obtained work visas etc, or as asylum seekers approved from outside the UK).

You still see pseudo-liberal idiots saying or tweeting that immigration is not a high priority in the UK’s list of problems to be dealt with. Think again. Immigration on this scale impacts everything, either immediately or later, and for endless years to come.

About a million a year, maybe more, and if some say it is “only” half a million “net”, does that really make much difference? So either 10 million in the next 20 years, or 20 million in the same time-period…

Goodbye Britain as anything other than a dystopian hellhole if that happens, i.e. if a real British Government does not stop it.

How many LibLabCon politicians could attract a crowd a twentieth as large? A crowd composed of ordinary local voters, by the way.

If you look at Twitter/X, as always very very unrepresentative, you will see people lauding the unemployed 25-y-o African “eternal student” who is the Labour Party’s bizarre choice of candidate. Frankly, that useless creature will be lucky to save his deposit; he will certainly not get more than 15% of the vote. This is between Reform UK and the Conservative Party whose candidate is invisible.

As a social-national blogger and thinker, I should prefer there to be a social-national party that I could support, even if a party not led by me. However, there is no such party in the UK at present.

In realistic terms, all that can be done at GE 2024 is to destroy one half of the main System binary, i.e. the Conservative Party, and to move the “Overton Window”, so that there is space into which social-national ideas and, then, a movement, can flow.

The best chance at present is that the “controlled opposition” Reform UK does well enough to destroy the Conservative Party, even if at the cost of a Labour “elected” (by default) dictatorship for a while.

I have a feeling that Israel-puppet Starmer’s plan to enfranchise persons of 16-17 years of age may backfire on him.

Ideologically, I do not always have time for pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby Katie Hopkins, but it has to be admitted that she is something else…Tough does not start to cover it.

I agree with her there.

Exactly. The NWO/ZOG System wants Israel-puppet Starmer as “elected” dictator. He will clamp down even more on (real) free speech (as practised on this blog), he will flood the UK with even more non-Europeans, and he will be more finance-capital friendly even than Blair, Brown, Cameron-Levita etc.

Starmer’s expected enormous Commons majority will enable the installation of a kind of “woke” tyranny. It is then that the British people will have to go beyond the usual kinds of “acceptable” opposition.

Sunak, saying that he “has been fortunate” in his life…Married, of course, to the richest Indian in India.

Sunak always reminds me of some of the contestants on shows such as The Chase, people that make me think, “you are so ******* ignorant; why are you even on a quiz show in the first place? You could not buy a correct answer“…

Sunak is a bit like that when he tries to show that he has what it takes to be Prime Minister of the UK. He plainly does not have what it takes. The little Indian money-juggler neither looks, nor thinks, nor behaves, nor speaks like a prime minister.

I happened to see a Sky News report this morning. 900 migrant-invaders have already been landed at Dover today, ferried in by the “Border Force” (border farce). All in identical orange lifejackets, all on a very large Border Force vessel, delivering them at a fast rate of knots to our shores.

900 in one single day (so far).

This is a conspiracy, the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan, being carried on in plain sight, right under the noses of the public and the msm. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan.

The Conservative Party candidate in the famous Smethwick by-election had a poster saying “if you want a n****r for a neighbour, vote Labour“. 60 years on, it turns out that the second part of the sentence should have read “…vote Labour, Conservative, LibDem, or Green“.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smethwick_in_the_1964_general_election

Interesting (even if Matt Goodwin, an academic, apparently needs to brush up on the use of the apostrophe).

Good idea.

Pity those trying to restrain the vandals did not give them the bejesus of a good kicking.

Israel has created ghetto-entities (Gaza, West Bank); cutting off oil via Turkey will ghetto-ize Israel itself.

I’m lovin’ it!

According to my use of Electoral Calculus [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html], that would mean a House of Commons with 444 Labour MPs (overall majority 238), LibDems 65, Reform UK 50, Cons 45, SNP 20, Plaid Cymru 4, Greens 2 (etc).

If that were to come to pass, absolutely stunning. It would mean pretty much the end of the Conservative Party, certainly the end of it as a (let alone the) natural or default party of government.

For one thing, most of those wanting selection as Conservative candidates, and MPs, are careerists. Few will be attracted by a party that has only 45 MPs.

Donors are already withdrawing from the Conservative Party. Large donors usually want, at very least, influence in return for their money. A party which has only 45 MPs and is not the governing party, not the official Opposition, but only 4th in the Commons, has little to offer, little to sell.

If Reform UK really did break through to the extent indicated, the “Overton Window” will have been not only moved but blasted aside.

Social nationalism might then really start to take off. Exciting.

By my use of Electoral Calculus, that might translate to Lab 476 Commons seats (overall majority 302), Con 68 (official Opposition), LibDems 62, SNP 13, Reform UK 4, Plaid Cymru 4, Greens 2 (Northern Ireland 18, Others 3).

What kind of “democracy” is it, though, when a party (Labour) might get 39% of the popular vote, yet get about 72% of the seats in the House of Commons (476 seats)? A strict 39% of seats would be 253 seats.

Another party (Conservatives) might get 19% of the popular vote, meaning, on strict mathematical equivalence, about 124 seats, not the mere 68 conferred by FPTP voting.

As for Reform UK, its present or forecast 17% should confer (under proportional voting) about 111 seats. The forecast under FPTP voting— a mere 4.

There again, the LibDems, with only 10% of the popular vote, are forecast to have 62 seats, almost the same as under a strict proportional allocation (65).

Can such an electoral system even be called “democratic”? Open question.

The DDR was a strange little country, in which I spent a couple of days in 1988; actually, not quite as small a country as commonly imagined: about 42,000 sq. miles, as against England’s 51,000, but with an overall density of population about a third of England’s (the UK as a whole has about 94,000 sq. miles).

By my use of Electoral Calculus [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html], that actually puts the Cons in a marginally better position than other recent polls, by reason of the slip in Labour’s position, but it still means Lab 466 (overall majority 282), Con 70, LibDem 70, Reform UK 4, Greens 2.

Were Labour to recover to 40%, the number of Con MPs would reduce to 51; were Labour to rise to 41%, the number of Con MPs would be a mere 42.

Penny Mordaunt is campaigning not so much for the Conservative Party as for her own political career (in fact, her career full stop, for she has no other). It seems 50-50, at best, that she will be re-elected anyway.

Labour is as dull as ditchwater, as witness its pathetic Manifesto for the General Election, but I do not think that it much matters now. The main aim of 80%+, maybe even 90%, of the electorate is to get rid of the Conservative Party not just for the next 5 years but permanently. Starmer and fake Labour will only fail to sweep all before them —by default— if something so devastating happens to their campaign that it is hard to imagine what.

Exactly.

I once had a slim volume containing details of many “antisemitic” persons of artistic, scientific and other intellectual prominence in history. Too many to list here, but including Chopin, Schumann, and hundreds of others.

I believe that booklet had been compiled by Hilaire Belloc, but I may be mistaken in that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilaire_Belloc.

Britain 2024— roads full of holes and poor surfacing, patched slightly here and there. A million unwanted immigrants a year flooding in. Living standards being slashed. Poor pay for most workers, and another round of attacks on the unemployed, disabled and sick. Almost nothing in the administrative realm working properly. Free speech under unprecedented attack by the Jew-Zionist/pro-Israel lobby, with Government connivance. The NHS sinking ever-deeper into a situation where, in some areas, it is scarcely a health service at all.

Meanwhile the misgovernment of the little Indian money-juggler posing as a Prime Minister sends arms and ammunition to the dictatorship of the Jewish tyrant in Kiev, and entangles the UK in the wars of the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

What price “democracy”? Get rid of Sunak and his Cabinet of clowns, and the only result is that a pseudo-Labour “elected” dictatorship under Israel puppet will carry on in a similar way; maybe worse. Freedom of expression will be destroyed even more, Israel and the Jewish lobby will be supported even more, and the Kiev regime will be propped up even more.

In effect, the UK will swap a Conservative Friends of Israel misgovernment for a Labour Friends of Israel cabal misgovernment.

By all means clear out Conservative Party MPs. They deserve it. Vote elsewhere, or at least do not vote Conservative, but do not imagine that anything will change for the better under Labour.

Is anyone going to point out the absurdity of Jessica Elgot, one of The Guardian’s most prominent Zionists – along with Jonathan Freedland – writing an extremely mild ‘exposรฉ’ of the rapidly Zionist CAA. The purpose appears to be to undermine them on behalf of Margaret Hodge and John Mann, now that the CAA has outlived its usefulness to Hodge, who was formerly one of its patrons. Can we please have conflict of interest statements from Zionist journalists when they write about their beloved genocidal belief system and its real world manifestations?

[“rabidly”, not “rapidly“, of course].

It could take 14 years to clear debris in Gaza Israel’s military campaign against Gaza has reduced much of the narrow, coastal territory of 2.3 million people to a wasteland with most civilians homeless, hungry and at risk of disease. Pehr Lodhammar, senior officer at the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS), told a briefing in Geneva that the war had left an estimated 37 million tonnes of debris in the widely urbanised, densely populated territory.

cf. the Teufelsberg, or Devil’s Mountain, a hill in the former West Berlin, nearly 300 feet above the surrounding land, and created entirely from rubble brought from the devastated city several years after the end of the Second World War.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teufelsberg

From what one sees of Berlin today on TV etc, I find that I have no wish to visit the city. It might have been interesting to see, in the pre-1989 period, the contrast between East Berlin and West Berlin, but I never did, though I did see the southern part of the DDR (East Germany) in 1988, and I have seen (both pre-1989 and more recently) what was West Germany. I have blogged previously about my impressions.

Berlin has other, smaller, hills of that type. Some other German cities also have a Schuttberg or “debris mountain”, the larger ones called Trรผmmerberge (“rubble mountains”), though most are considerably smaller than the Teufelsberg: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schuttberg; they have been landscaped, “greened”, and are mostly not unaesthetic now.

The Home Office considered appointing campaigner against antisemitism Gideon Falter as an adviser to its counter extremism unit but was warned against the appointment by the governmentโ€™s antisemitism tsar.

The Guardian understands there were strong objections to Falter being offered the part-time civil service role advising the Commission for Countering Extremism (CCE) in 2022 and that John Mann told the then home secretary Suella Braverman he would quit if Falter was offered the post.

Falter told the Guardian: โ€œThese claims show a lack of understanding of how the Jewish community works. CAA works closely with CST, Shomrim [a volunteer-led security group that works with the strictly Orthodox Jewish community] and numerous other organisations.

โ€œAs part of our work we make complaints against antisemites in all walks of life…”

[The Guardian]

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/apr/26/home-office-considered-antisemitism-campaigner-for-counter-extremism-unit

It is disgusting that this horrible little individual was ever considered for an official role. A liar and, some say, a perjurer, just like a couple of his self-publicizing colleagues.

Incidentally, I believe that the present Commissioner for Countering Extremism is Jewish.

As for Suella Braverman, thank God her time in the political limelight is probably over. A low-level barrister unaccountably selected/”elected” to the Commons and then, even less plausibly, appointed to Cabinet. She is what the Indians in her mother’s native Mauritius call —I have heard them say it— “bas-class“. Married to a Jew, and completely in the pocket of the Jewish/Zionist lobby and Israel.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suella_Braverman.

Suella Braverman’s seat at Fareham is considered “safe”, but when the Conservative MP numbers are cut down at the General Election this year, Suella Braverman will just be one of about (?) 50 Conservative Party MPs left. No influence, and no political future except as a backbencher of a party which might even fail to become the official Opposition. I doubt that she will become the leader of that now very degraded party.

Looks as though more-powerful or more-influential Jews have told Falter to shut up and get back into his box.

God knows what group-karma is eventually going to come down the tracks at Israel, the Israelis, and all those outside Israel who support the quasi-genocide.

The idea that 500,000-1,000,000+ immigrants coming into the UK (mostly not via “small boats”) annually is in any way sustainable is just mad. This government has hugely increased immigration (hardly surprising…look at the Cabinet, composed largely of non-Europeans), and the Labour Friends of Israel government of Starmer, expected to start this year or early next year, will be even worse.

People look at their living standards plummeting, goods costing more, transport services, roads, NHS, schools etc getting worse, housing becoming totally unaffordable, but (in the case of many people) prefer to ignore the links between all of that and the tsunami of immigration.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-13118755/Fertility-rate-plunges-time-low.html

Women are having fewer children than ever before, official figures revealed today.

Office for National Statistics data shows the fertility rate โ€” the average number of children a woman has โ€” in England and Wales slumped to 1.49 in 2022.

It marks the lowest figure since records began in 1938, laying bare the reality of the ongoing baby bust that threatens to cripple the economy.

Not a single one of the 330-plus authorities in both countries has a fertility rate that is above ‘replacement level’, according to MailOnline analysis.

[Daily Mail]

When one considers that (overall) the blacks and browns etc are having children, the birthrate among white people (“the people formerly known as British”) is seen more clearly as being at a rock-bottom level.

Bob Stewart, MP for Beckenham in south-east London, made the remark towards activist Sayed Ahmed Alwadaei during a row outside the Foreign Office’s Lancaster House on December 14 2022.

Last November, Mr Stewart was convicted for a racially aggravated public order offence and was fined ยฃ600. Following the conviction, Mr Stewart lost the Tory whip and has since sat in the House of Commons as an independent.

Now, following an appeal, his conviction has been overturned today at Southwark Crown Court.”

[Daily Mail]

One has to wonder how absolutely stupid are the police and Crown Prosecution Service that this was ever brought to a trial. Mad.

Incidentally, note that the Daily Mail wannabee “journalist” scribbler spells “offence” as “offense“, American-style, in the first line. Newspapers have declined in every way since the 1970s.

As for my own conviction under the very stupid Communications Act 2003, s.127 (trial was on 17 November 2023), I am due to be sentenced in a few weeks’ time. After that, I shall have 3 weeks in which to decide whether to appeal to the Crown Court.

Britain Occupied territory

For me, what is most alarming is that dim people like Hoyle can get to some of the highest-status positions in our country and society.

At least he is an animal-lover in his private life. I can approve of that.

Paul Golding/Britain First is only partly correct. While Islamism is a threat to the UK, so is Jew-Zionism, which is far more embedded in the power structure. Paul Golding always attacks the one but not the other, which may be one reason why Britain First has a poor electoral record; most recently, 1.6% at the Wellingborough by-election, only 8th out of 11 candidates.

At Wellingborough, Britain First’s 8th-placed position came after Labour, Conservative, Reform, LibDems, an Independent, Greens, and another Independent, only beating the Monster Raving Loony and two more Independents. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wellingborough_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

Only one caveat: I do not know whether those numbers are inflation-adjusted.

By sending long-range “Taurus” cruise missiles to Ukraine, they will make Germany part of the Ukrainian conflict, German politician Sara Wagenknecht told the German media.

“You really think that if we deliver more weapons, the Ukrainians will be able to drive the Russians out of Crimea? Do you think Russia, a nuclear power, will allow that? If we bring war to Russia with German weapons, then we will also bring war to Germany,” she said.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahra_Wagenknecht. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahra_Wagenknecht#Refugee_policy. Interesting.

Sara Wagenknecht only finished her secondary education in 1988, a year before the collapse of the DDR (and, incidentally, the same year in which I myself saw the country, though only briefly), so she could not have been a member of the Aufklรคrung (the foreign intelligence component of the State Security apparat or “Stasi“). Had she been older, one might wonder.

Lee Anderson, and Ashfield (Derbyshire)

The maverick MP has been suspended from being under the Conservative Party whip.

Naturally, I do not agree with his statement that London is “run by Muslims”. Sadiq Khan is from a Muslim background, but has been pretty much in the Jew-Zionist pocket for many years.

It would be more accurate to characterize Sadiq Khan as “anti-white”.

As to Anderson himself, I suggest that he is trying to bolster his position vis a vis the General Election expected later this year.

Until 2019, Ashfield had always been won by Labour since its inception in 1955, with one closely-run by-electoral exception in 1977. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashfield_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s. “New Labour” and Gloria de Piero changed all that.

David Marquand, a former MP for Ashfield (1966-1977; he is still alive, at 89): “Originally a tentative supporter of Blair’s New Labour, he has since become a trenchant critic, arguing that “New Labour has ‘modernised’ the social-democratic tradition out of all recognition”, even while retaining the over-centralisation and disdain for the radical intelligentsia of the old “Labourite” tradition.” [Wikipedia]. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Marquand.

Marquand defected to the SDP and then was honourable enough to step down as MP, not contesting the by-election.

In fact, Marquand was himself rather intellectual:

Marquand addressed Britain’s relative economic decline in The Unprincipled Society (1988) and The New Reckoning (1997). He argued that this decline was caused by Britain’s failure to become a developmental state like France, Germany and Japan. In those countries state intervention had encouraged industrial development and had facilitated the necessary adjustments to competition. Britain, however, was wedded to an economic liberalism which prevented the state from undertaking the necessary measures to meet the country’s developmental needs.[7] In The New Reckoning Marquand claimed: “The economies that have succeeded more spectacularly have been those fostered by developmental states, where public power, acting in concert with private interest, has induced market forces to flow in the desired direction”.[8]” [Wikipedia].

In fact, Ashfield is not quite as “safe Labour” as the history might suggest superficially. Gloria de Piero won in 2010 by a majority of under half a point (0.4%, 192 votes) from a LibDem.

While de Piero’s majority increased in 2015 (as the LibDems imploded), in 2017 she beat the Conservative candidate by less than one point (0.9%, 441 votes). An Ashfield Independent came third with over 9% of the vote.

In 2019, Lee Anderson won convincingly: 39.3% of the vote, followed in second (27.6%) by another “Ashfield Independent”, Jason Zadrozny [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Zadrozny], who has had a chequered political and personal history. In third place came Labour, with only 24.4%.

Zadrozny is going to contest the seat at GE 2024.

So far, apart from Anderson (who may or may not be standing as Conservative Party candidate, depending on whether he gets back the Conservative whip), only the Ashfield Independent and Reform UK are presently known to be likely to stand at GE 2024, but a full field is almost guaranteed. There may be a dozen or more candidates.

At first, I thought that Anderson could probably be written off as post-GE 2024 MP, but now am not so sure. He has now (whether by design or not) distanced himself from the unpopular Conservative leadership —and possibly from the equally-unpopular Conservative Party— is anti-EU, anti-migration invasion etc, and is now known nationwide. He must have at least a chance of retaining his seat. If he does, and if he also retains it as a “Conservative” MP, he might be one of 100 or even as few as 50 such MPs. Who knows what might then happen?

[Update, 13 October 2024: In the end, what happened at GE 2024 was that Lee Anderson stood as Reform UK candidate, and won handsomely with 42.8% of the vote. He is thus now one of 5 Reform UK MPs. The Labour candidate came a poor second with 29%; third place, with 15.7%, went to that Independent, Zadrozny, who faces yet another Crown Court trial soon, in February 2025: numerous charges of fraud and income tax evasion, as well as possession of cocaine): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashfield_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s].

Many a true word spoken in jest…I remember a visitor from the Soviet Union, one Alex (not the MP above, of course), joking with me during a similar prison accommodation crisis (in 1987, I think, and seen on Channel 4 News) that the British Government should make a deal with the Soviet Government to house Brit convicts. Alex said that he could guarantee that the Soviet Government would turn a profit on it.

He ought to have known, he himself having been arrested and convicted, on entirely invented evidence, of having been a spy for a number of secret services. He had been about 18 at the time, and the arrest came in 1948, the peak of the postwar purge. He had then spent 5 years in a camp in the region of Archangel in Northern Russia. Stalin’s death in 1953 had saved him, and millions of others, from longer or worse.

[“Where did it all go wrong for John Lewis?” Oh, no, wait a minute…]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharon_White_(businesswoman).

Incidentally, her basic salary at John Lewis has been ยฃ990,000 p.a., nearly three times her previous salary (for 4 years) as head of OFCOM.

She has other revenue streams as well.

Incidentally, I myself often use Waitrose, which is part of the John Lewis Group. The decline , particularly since 2020, has been sad to see. The range and also quality of fruit and vegetables is much reduced, the formerly stellar customer service has almost gone, and there have been other disagreeable changes, while the prices have soared.

Hard to know where to place the blame, though, in circumstances where we have seen Brexit, the “Covid” scamdemic/panicdemic, the pathetic anti-Covid “measures” put in place, staff shortages locally, and general inflation.

The other day, I bought a small bottle of (40%/Vol) Kirsch. About ยฃ9.50. A few years ago, the price was ยฃ6.50 or ยฃ7. Hardly a typical everyday purchase, even for me, but not dissimilar to other items in its increased cost.

No wonder most Ukrainians are trying to avoid or evade being used as cannon-fodder.

Collapsed support: a major failure?” For the second day in a row, the German Bild informs its readers that all is lost – despair reigns in Kiev, the situation is critical, and Western supporters are inclined to negotiate. “Soldier fatigue” is one of the biggest dangers.

At the same time, it is absolutely obvious: the situation for Ukraine has not become any less, but even more threatening! The counteroffensive is going less successfully than the Ukrainians and the West would like. The number of victims is extremely high. There is no necessary support in arms from the West. And Russia can produce more per day than the West, despite the sanctions.”

Conservative Party Conference

Saw a few minutes of Sunak’s speech. Pretty pathetic. The HS2 fiasco has become symbolic. Not that I was ever anything other than opposed to the ridiculous vanity project anyway, but now we have massive cost, massive environmental damage etc, but no useful train line at all, just a line that goes to or from Birmingham but only to an outer suburb of London, thus losing its purpose altogether. As said, pathetic.

It seems that Sunak is trying to portray himself as a Prime Minister, when the whole country knows that his popularity (as was that of even more useless Liz Truss) has never been tested via General Election. The longer Sunak holds on, and the longer he puts off a General Election, the worse his position is likely to become. However, if a general election were to be held this year, the result would almost certainly be a disaster for the Conservative Party, and the number of its MPs likely be reduced to around 100, maybe only 50 or so. Therefore, the circus will have to continue into 2024, maybe until December 2024.

Once again, Israel puppet Starmer shows to what extent his mind is dominated by finance-capitalist and basically Jewish-oriented thinking.

Anyone imagining that the expected (?) “Labour” government of 2024 will be any better than the present “Conservative” misrule will be very disappointed.

Ukraine war

Happened to listen to BBC Radio 4 Today Programme for a few minutes in the car. A correspondent was talking about the drone attacks on Moscow, and saying that prior to the Russian invasion, there had been no attacks, and so these attacks were happening only because of the Russian invasion.

Superficially true, in that Russia proper was never attacked before the invasion of early 2022, but what was not mentioned was the 8 years of artillery bombardment (and bombing) of the Russian-speaking and/or pro-Russian areas of formerly-Ukraine territory, particularly Donetsk, starting in 2014.

I waited to hear who was giving what was basically a lying-by-omission account of things. Turned out that it was “Steve Rosenberg, Russia Editor“. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Rosenberg]. What a surprise. Or not.

I notice that some of my oldest and also least-read blog posts received hits today. One, written in 2018, was this little anecdote about my Bar pupillage in 1992: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/06/19/home-and-away-or-neighbours/

Ostalgie?

I visited Poland several times in the late 1980s, spending maybe 2 months or so there altogether. I also once spent a few days travelling by car from Poland to West Germany, so I saw small parts of the southern regions of the DDR (East Germany) at that time (summer 1988). I have blogged about it previously. A strange-seeming society, very very different from the Bundesrepublik (West Germany).

The DDR was a very controlled group-dictatorship: rule by the few (Communists), of course, and in most respects the DDR was very inferior to the Bundesrepublik, but the situation was not entirely black and white. Few things are.

The Ukrainian army will begin to lose control over the situation along the entire front, as is the case in the Kharkiv region, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter wrote in an article for Sputnik. “The thinning of Ukrainian defense lines has provided Russian forces with new opportunities.” This resulted in great successes in the area of โ€‹โ€‹Kupjansk. The armed forces of Ukraine will continue to weaken as they suffer losses, and gaps will appear in their defense that the Russian army can use to break through,” the expert predicts.”

Black Africa. That’s where the wealth goes— into the pockets of a few corrupt bastards…

There can be little doubt that, as the Ukrainian (Kiev regime) counter-offensive is failing, the air war is heating up. If Russia keeps getting attacked from the air, even if only by drones, the response may be devastating.

The contract soldier or “mercenary” has fallen somewhat onto the margins of European affairs since the condottieri of the Renaissance era, though in the 20thC many Europeans served, some more honourably than others, in mercenary forces elsewhere in the world, mainly in Africa. Among the better ones were 5 Commando under Mike Hoare in the Congo of the early/mid 1960s, and those who served under the Rhodesian flag in the late 1960s and 1970s. Among the less honourable, les Affreux (“the Frightful”), Belgian and French mercenaires in the Congo circa 1961-62, and some of those who served in Biafra; also, arguably the rock-bottom, those (some completely untrained) who went to Angola under “Colonel” “Callan” (in reality, Costas Georgiou, a Greek-Cypriot dishonourably discharged from the Parachute Regiment of the UK, and who never held a rank higher than corporal, if that): see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Costas_Georgiou; see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercenary#Africa; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Mike_Hoare.

To recruit his force, Hoare placed newspaper advertisements in Johannesburg and Salisbury (modern Harare, Zimbabwe) for physically fit white men capable of marching 20 miles per day who were fond of combat and were “tremendous romantics” to join 5 Commando.[5] The moniker Mad Mike which was given to him by the British press suggested a “wildman” type of commander, but in fact Hoare was very strict and insisted the men of 5 Commando always be clean-shaven, keep their hair cut short, never swear and attend church services every Sunday.[5] The men of 5 Commando were entirely white and consisted of a “ragbag of misfits” upon whom he imposed stern discipline.[5] 5 Commando was a mixture of South Africans, Rhodesians, British, Belgians, and Germans, the last of whom were mostly Second World War veterans who had arrived in the Congo wearing Iron Crosses.”

[Wikipedia].

[Mike Hoare, when commander of 5 Commando in the Congo]

The Wagner Group, aka PMC Wagner, has changed the rules. Here is a notionally private military company effectively acting as the private part of a state military force, though not signatory to any international conventions and, by the same token, unprotected by any.

In the 1960s and at most other modern times, mercenaries were seen only in quite small groups, certainly no more than a few hundred. That alone marks out Wagner Group as something new. Even Mike Hoare’s successful 5 Commando consisted of only about 300 men. The Wagner Group can (or could, until the recent fighting for Bakhmut/Artyomovsk) muster tens of thousands. The whole of the British Army is now no more than about 70,000-80,000, and most of those are either headquarters or “rear-echelon” forces, not combat-ready.

It comes as a slight surprise to realize that Wagner Group might even be a match for the maybe 30,000 troops who comprise the whole of the fighting part of the British Army.

It is an open question as to what would happen were Wagner Group to attack and/or get into combat with, the forces of a NATO state (eg Poland). That is, would it trigger Article 5 of the Treaty, and so create a general European conflict?

I suppose that the last time the British used private forces on any scale would be the seaborne “privateers” of the 16th-18th centuries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Privateer, unless you include the arrangement with the Gurkhas, though they are now completely subsumed into the British and other armies.

Polish roads have certainly improved since I was there (late 1980s).

They both look hugely smug, as well they might. I wonder what could wipe the smirks off their faces?

Reading tweets from pro-immigration cretins such as tweeter “@DawnRowatt” is more than irritating; it is actually slightly frightening. It shows that there are rather a lot of people in this country devoid of any real awareness of how the country is changing for the worse (the much worse) via mass immigration and migration-invasion. Such “refugees welcome” and similar dimwits are immune to logic, to facts, to intelligent analysis. What does that leave?

They are the gravediggers of our still relatively-civilized, though declining fast, white European society.

As mentioned on the blog and by others, fraudulent “grifter” “Jack Monroe” uses literally hundreds of Twitter and other “sock accounts”, some prepared years ago, as long ago as 2013 in some cases. Such “non-people” argue with those exposing “Jack Monroe”, and they also praise her, or her dire food “recipes”.

As for me, I fail to understand why the police have not (as far as I know) launched investigation into what is really a long-running fraud, or series of frauds.

I usually believe in the maxim de mortuis nihil nisi bonum, but I have to say that when Gates drops dead, I shall be pleased, even though we are all on the same conveyor belt.

Not only Gates, incidentally.

Israel is a “democracy” in the sense that South Africa, in the apartheid era, was. Democracy for those thought eligible. Is there any other word as flexible (or meaningless) as “democracy”? See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/15/has-parliamentary-democracy-as-we-have-known-it-until-now-had-its-day-in-the-uk/.

A good deal of what has been shown on Western TV reports from Ukraine over the past ~18 months has been faked, or partly-faked.

West Germany, pre-1990, pre-Reunification, was pretty impressive; East Germany (DDR) not so much, and very strange, but still pretty clean and efficient, from what I saw in a brief visit at the time.

Now look at it. Migration-invasion and cultural decadence has done huge damage even as compared to the Weimar period of the 1920s and early 1930s.

No military plan survives the first contact with the enemy” [von Moltke].

The Israelis train their staff officers and others by telling them to prepare a plan over a period of a week. 24 hours before the wargame is due to start, the officers are told that the situation has changed radically along lines explained. A new plan therefore has to be prepared. Then, less than an hour (I think a matter of 10-20 minutes) before the start, the officers are told that the situation has changed again. They are instructed to think of a new plan at once.

That method has been proven to have been effective in training officers able to think on their feet, as seen both in 1967 and in 1973, and plays to the Jewish/Israeli strength in off-the cuff innovation.

The Russians and Ukrainians of senior rank were, at least until recently, brought up in the Soviet idea of carefully-thought-out plans, and wargames that were mostly for show, to be displayed like a panorama to senior officers, political leaders, and in propaganda films. In a word— inflexible.

In practice, the Worker Protection Bill is a sinister threat to our freedom of speech. It will impose on employers a responsibility to take ‘all reasonable steps’ to prevent their staff being offended.

That can only lead to bosses trying to impose pre-emptive forms of censorship to avoid being dragged to a tribunal. Do we want to see our lively pubs reduced to a state of silent sterility, as if they were public libraries rather than public houses?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11935369/The-total-collapse-break-Putins-Russia-begun-Zelensky-official-predicts.html

The total collapse and break-up of Vladimir Putin‘s Russia has begun and the West must be prepared to deal with the potentially catastrophic aftermath, a top official in Volodymyr Zelensky’s Government has warned.

Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, said the West must be on high alert, having in the past failed to be ready for the collapse of the Soviet Union.

He said Kyiv [Kiev] believed Russia was about to fall apart in ‘spectacular’ fashion within the next few years.

But he warned that China currently holds the upper hand over the Kremlin’s imminent capitulation. He said if the West allowed China to take territory in Russia, a new grave problem would be created.

[Daily Mail]

Normally, I would discount anything said by members of the corrupt and dictatorial Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev, but in this case the prediction may be accurate, at least in part.

Russia today has no ideology beyond pro forma Great-Russian shadow nationalism and chauvinism, mixed with a pathetic 1930s/1940s pseudo “anti-Nazi” propaganda campaign (re. Ukraine), which campaign fell flat as soon as it was introduced a year or two ago.

In the past (pre-Russian Civil War, and pre-1917/18), there was Tsarism and the Russian Orthodox Church; in the formulation of Pobedonostsev, “Autocracy, Orthodoxy, Nationality” (ะŸั€ะฐะฒะพัะปะฐฬะฒะธะต, ัะฐะผะพะดะตั€ะถะฐฬะฒะธะต, ะฝะฐั€ะพฬะดะฝะพัั‚ัŒ).

Later, there was Marxism-Leninism-Stalinism, which from the early 1940s mixed elements of the previous “Holy Russia” into the mix. Post-Bolshevik messianism mixed with geopolitical expansionism and the other bits and pieces.

After 1989, Russia and many of its people signed up to Western materialism and the largely but not entirely (of course) fake “liberal democracy” Schauspiel. That, in its very active phase, lasted for only about a decade. The Russian people soon discovered, like the cat in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, that the “freedom” promised by the semi-Americanism under Yeltsin included some unwelcome “freedoms”, such as the “freedom” to be homeless, jobless, cold, and hungry (though, to be sure, Sovietism itself had produced plenty of most of those, especially before the 1960s).

This lack of overarching ideology is Russia’s primary problem, the one which underpins all the others (e.g. the poor morale of the Russian Army and intelligence services).

Russia has to find an ideology which is both intellectually coherent, and able to inspire the Russian masses emotionally.

Looking at the situation now, Russia has only one indisputable trump card— its strategic nuclear arsenal. In all other respects, Russia has few if any cards to play. So far, its military machine has proven so poor that it has had to be stiffened by the mercenary Wagner Group. As for the SVR and GRU, Stalin would have shot half of them by now. The same goes for much of the senior officer corps.

Russia does seem to be reprising its historical role of the “colossus on legs of straw“. Judging from the outside (I have not been there since 2007, and now have no connection with Russian laws, business, or people), it seems to me to have only limited internal stability, though at the same time little significant political opposition to the present Putin government.

I doubt that there will be a split into separate countries, if only because Russians remain one people (albeit with hundreds of minor nationalities alongside), with one language (ditto), and a shared history. What might happen, and has happened since 1991, is increasing autonomy of various far-flung territories.

Ukraine was always almost one country with Russia. The present war is almost a civil war, which may explain its bitterness, and its sometimes barbaric standards.

In the end, Ukraine will probably be devastated and then repopulated with Russian settlers, at least east of the Dnieper. We shall see.

One thing is for sure: if Putin does not do something to break the static situation that now exists in eastern Ukraine, he will follow the Soviet Union and DDR, and Nikolai II, into history, and sooner than he ever imagined.

I happened to see the YouTube video below: DDR (East Germany) in 1988. I was there in the summer of that year, though in the south of the country, and only for a couple of days. I have blogged before how, though there was no sign of imminent collapse, yet the DDR seemed to be a kind of stage-set of a state rather than a real one. Just impressions here and there.

About 14 months later, in 1989, the whole system collapsed and, in a final irony, the President, Honecker, sought political asylum in Chile, the government of which the DDR had for years called “fascist” etc. I recall having been very amused by that.

Anyone watching such a parade in 1988 would have thought that the display exuded statist stability and permanence. So much for that.

Does our own system in 2023 present even the appearance of stability? I think not. Perhaps the difference is that, in 1988 and 1989, the East German population could look to the West, to —immediately— the wealth and relative freedom of the Bundesrepublik and then, beyond German borders, to the rest of the EC (as the EU then was), and to the Americas.

To what, to where, can our people look for a potentially better life? Nowhere.

Incidentally, here is another DDR ceremony, this one in 1979, utilizing marches that include old German ones and at least one from 1920s Bolshevism (slightly pre-Soviet Union):

The marching steps could also have been seen in both the Second and Third Reich.

“Jack Monroe” never did sue MP Lee Anderson. Neither has she refunded any of the monies donated (needless to say)…

I looked today at Amazon. The “Jack Monroe” book Thrifty Kitchen, which bombed on release a couple of months ago, is now no. 26,957 from the top of the bestseller list. This indicates sales of about 160 copies per month at its new reduced price of ยฃ8.50 (original price was nearly ยฃ20, but that was immediately reduced to ยฃ9.99), out of which “Jack Monroe” may be getting between 50p and ยฃ1 per copy. New or near-new copies can be had on Amazon for as little as ยฃ5.

No wonder that she wants to keep going the Patreon scam, which must still be providing several thousand pounds each month, presumably taxfree as well.

Another (Chinese?) social control measure. How long before that sort of control arrives in the UK? The police of today, often politically-correct/”woke” automatons, would enforce it— we saw that during the “Covid” “panicdemic” and “scamdemic”.

If only that could be a matter of selection, affecting only certain groups.

North America is prey to every kind of craziness now, even when compared to the UK, Sweden etc.

Stray thought

Most of what one does, in any given occupation, is a waste of time from the point of view of the individual’s own utility or satisfaction.

For example, it is hardly a new idea that, in many ordinary, modest, occupations, one almost works in order to pay out to be able to work.

Leave aside highly-paid professional or other activity and focus on modestly-paid work (let alone minimum-wage activity). The employee, say an office bod, needs to spend out in order to get clothing for the office, say a few suits.

He (or she) needs to pay out for daily travel (which can be very considerable in cost), for luncheon food (even if only a roll and coffee, which might amount to ยฃ10 a day in Central London), and for various other things as well.

All so that the employee can work at all. Then there might be occasional or regular socializing, in which said office bod is more or less expected to participate. The resulting remuneration, after tax and “National Insurance” (more tax), is scarcely enough to do more than pay for the costs of having a job, plus food and basic shelter. Maybe not even that.

Likewise, look at someone who wins on a lottery, say ยฃ50,000. People say “like a year’s (or two years) pay” within the usual range in the UK. Not so, though. In terms of real pay, even a relatively modest sum such as ยฃ50,000 is huge, because most people, after all their taxes, costs, and expenses, have almost nothing left at the end of a month, or even year.

Regeneration and transformation of land and landscape

Saw again this video, which I posted on the blog last year:

The lady at Bealtaine Cottage in Ireland was, sadly, persuaded by notorious Jew Twitter-troll Ben Gidley, under one of his aliases, to block me on Twitter, some years ago. No matter. I still think her work interesting. #MoralHighGround.

[Incidentally, the Jew Gidley is a lecturer at Birkbeck College in London. His admitted Twitter account is “@bengidley”, but he also runs “@bobfrombrockley” and, in the past, Twitter accounts closed down for trolling and online stalking: “@inthesoupagain” and “antinazisunited”. All accounts replete with Jew-Zionism, and mostly with a fake “socialist” tinge.

I am not the only person to have had problems with the Jew Gidley’s Twitter (and other) behaviour. The well-known journalist and columnist, Peter Hitchens, repeatedly exposed some of Gidley’s activities in his own tweets, though long after I had unmasked the little bastard. Others as well. I blazed the trail, though.

[Gidley there hiding behind the photo/mugshot of Johnny Cash]

Other Jew trolls tried to defend Gidley by attacking me and others:

As I tweeted some years ago (Jews conspired to have my Twitter account closed down in 2018), Gidley seems to spend most of his time tweeting, mostly via “sock accounts”, in the Jewish and Israeli interest, and most of that tweeting is negative trolling.

If, as seems, Birkbeck College is going to make a number of staff redundant, they could not do better than to start with Gidley, whose jargon-filled “academic” product is completely useless to society anyway].

Another interesting project:

East Germany, the DDR, was very strange; I have blogged previously about my impressions, gained in a short time (less than 3 days) there, in 1988, and while in car transit from then-socialist Poland to the then West Germany.

“Ostalgie”-Musik

As blogged previously, I find myself rather fascinated by “contrived” societies, societies which have in a sense invented themselves: the DDR, Singapore, Israel etc. It might be said that all societies “invent themselves“, but the phenomenon is more obvious in some as compared to others.

Few MPs are worth anything these days. Most are either useless freeloaders or are actual enemies of the British people, or both (eg Yvette Cooper).

My own assessment from a few months ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/.

Johnny Mercer

Saw this from Johnny Mercer, the MP for Plymouth Moor View:

Mercer became a Member of Parliament on the back of his military career, with the obvious implication that he was, is, or considers himself to be, a British patriot or some such: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Mercer_(politician).

I was hoping, some years ago, that Mercer would prove to be an improvement on the all-too-often-seen MPs who put their duty behind their own financial or career benefit.

Unfortunately, as an MP, Mercer has been a big disappointment. First of all, it seems that he is, at least to a large extent, motivated by money. Criticism has been made of his making a considerable sum from commercial and/or “charitable” activities outside his work and position as an MP. His expenses have also been criticized.

Quite apart from the above, Mercer has had the “distinction” of having been sacked as a minister by the two previous Prime Ministers, first by Boris Johnson, and then by Liz Truss, the latter of which triggering a tweet by Mercer’s wife (employed by him on his Parliamentary expenses, incidentally), which tweet described Liz Truss (admittedly not unfairly) as “an imbecile“.

Presumably, Madame Mercer did not like the fact that Mercer (and so she too) thereby lost a ministerial salary of about ยฃ71,000 or so, per year (paid on top of MP salary and expenses).

Well, Mercer is now back in Government, as Minister of State for Veterans’ Affairs (the UK now using the American-style term “veteran” for someone who has served, however briefly, in the armed forces).

Now I see that Mercer thinks that Jew-Zionists such as Ruth Smeeth (actually half-Jewish— see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Smeeth) are “brilliant“…

I daresay that few would call Mercer himself “brilliant“. Ruth Smeeth (now “Baroness” Anderson) has worked for BICOM, the overseas propaganda org supporting the Israeli state and government. She is, and/or has, also been involved with the malicious and basically Jewish “anti-fascist” org called “Hope not Hate”, and (I think) the even less pleasant “UAF” (“United Against Fascism”).

Ruth Smeeth is a member of Labour Friends of Israel, and was a major part of the anti-Corbyn campaign which, as noted previously in this blog, was effectively a Jewish campaign to remove Corbyn as Labour leader, a campaign crowned with success when Corbyn was replaced by Jewish lobby and/or Israel lobby puppet, Keir Starmer.

Ruth Smeeth is well-embedded in the System. Not only now elevated to a well-paid sinecure in the useless House of Lords boondoggle but also appointed, a while ago, as an “Honorary Captain” of the Royal Naval Reserve, an unusual —and, to me, puzzling— appointment.

In applauding the likes of Ruth Smeeth, Johnny Mercer’s stock, which has been falling in my estimation for a few years now, falls to the floor.

When Mercer was elected, I rather liked the idea that he was a bit of a “loose cannon”, as distinct from the usual yes-men in the Commons. I fear however, that he is, also, not much good, as his having been fired by two successive Prime Ministers would seem to indicate (albeit that “Boris”-idiot and Liz Truss were both also useless).

Support for Jew-Zionism and its creatures, however goes too far.

Mercer won his seat from Labour fairly narrowly in 2015, getting 37.6% of votes cast; the constituency was only created in 2010. In 2017, Mercer’s vote-share jumped to 51.9%. The 2019 election saw a further increase, to 60.7%. Driving factors may have been the LibDem collapse (16.9% in 2010, as low as 2% in 2017, and only 5.2% in 2019), the collapse and disappearance of UKIP (21.5% in 2015 but not even standing in Plymouth Moor View in 2019), and Labour’s decline (in 2019, 31.5%).

As to whether Mercer will retain his seat at the next general election, in 2023 or 2024, that is an open question, though it seems quite likely.

It may be that the main dam on the Dnieper (a major Stalin-era project of the 1930s, rebuilt in the late 1940s after having been blown up by retreating Soviet forces in 1941) will be destroyed again.

The fact that msm “journalist”-scribblers have almost all swallowed the “Jack Monroe” “legend” whole, completely uncritically, and without bothering to dig a bit to see whether some or all of it might be untrue, says a lot about the state of the UK mass media today.

I was very much in favour of the “Bootstrap Cook” at first, years ago, but less so later, and now think that she has many serious questions to answer.

The fact that so many mainstream journalistic and “media folk” idiots seem to be actually emotionally invested in supporting her on Twitter makes me even more suspicious (I think that that the mugs who are actually still donating money to her monthly are probably a different set of mugs, for the most part; some seem to be real poor people, living on small State benefits, judging by those who have been saying on Twitter etc that “Jack Monroe” has not supplied the goods that she said she would supply).

I have no idea whether “Jack Monroe” (her name was changed by deed poll from the original Melissa Hadjicostas, she being half Greek-Cypriot) makes ยฃ3,000 a month, ยฃ8,000 or —as some on Twitter etc claim— about ยฃ16,000 a month, but her Patreon donation page alone (at exact time of writing today) shows 663 “patrons”, down from well over 800 a few months ago but still impressive. The lowest level of support is ยฃ3.50 per month.

663 x ยฃ3.50 = ยฃ2,320.50. Not a bad “little earner”, even at that level, to use the estuarine Essex argot.

The highest shown level of support (it was ยฃ44 per month until recently!) is now ยฃ10 per month. 663 x ยฃ10 = ยฃ6,630 per month.

It seems reasonable to conclude, therefore, that “Jack Monroe” is getting between ยฃ2,320 and ยฃ6,630 in cash, monthly, from Patreon alone (minus whatever fees or commissions are charged by the website).

Taxfree too, unless I am mistaken as to whether such donations are counted by HMRC as gifts or not.

The “Bootstrap Cook” also makes money from personal appearances, speaking engagements, TV appearances and, of course, book royalties from her 7 books, most if not all of which are still in print. From what I have read, at least ยฃ90,000 (in toto) in royalties over the past several years, and still rolling in.

One could say, “well, so what? She has the right to make money“, but if there are questions around the veracity of what she has said about her own life-story, if there are questions around her asking for money constantly, if there are questions about where monies have disappeared (if indeed they have) and if some of those monies were given by members of the public to be sent to charities, then the questions demand an answer.

For example, in May 2022, Jack Monroe was supposed to be intending to sue both Lee Anderson MP and the “controlled opposition” politico, Martin Daubney, in defamation. Monies were crowdfunded for that purpose, but so far (six months later) no writ has been issued, as far as I know. In fact, none of the usual pre-trial and pre-issue correspondence has occurred, as Lee Anderson said only last week.

I begin to wonder whether the Fraud Squad or similar should take an interest in all this. At least that might straighten out the facts.

The lightning-flash…I like it!

Looks as though the pack of pseudonymous Jew trolls on UK Twitter are on the way out, and (so to speak) living on borrowed time…

Cuba before Castro

Cuba looks better in that film than it is today, literally falling to pieces (houses in Havana collapsing after 63 years without maintenance, and the railways scarcely rolling).

There were a few positive aspects to Castro-ite socialism, but not many.

Another factor is that the Cuba of today has relatively fewer white and mestizo people as against blacks. Many went to the wall after 1959, and many others fled to the USA, the Dominican Republic etc.

Andrew Neil is far better on TV than in print.

As for that Holden cretin, just dump him in mid-Channel.

Much as I despise the Labour Party, the Conservative Party needs to be cast down and stamped on until it expires.

Look at this prize idiot (below)! One “Natalie”, defending the “Bootstrap Cook” even though she then admits that she knows nothing at all about the allegations against “Jack Monroe”, or the questions raised:

That was the end of the exchange(s). Thick “Natalie” goes away without a parting word. I wonder whether she is now less ignorant.

Twitter, the home of many proudly ignorant, but absolutely sure of their politically-correct rectitude.

F.E. Smith once replied to a judge, who had said that he had listened to Counsel for an hour and was “none the wiser“, “No, my Lord, but you are much better informed“…

What strikes me about the above is not only how gullible people can be but also how defensive, once their minds have accepted, uncritically, a certain narrative, a narrative about which they know absolutely nothing.

Not only the alleged quasi-fraud by “Bootstrap Cook”, but other narratives— “Covid”, Covid “vaccines”, “Ukraine”, the 2010-2020 “need” for “austerity” (spending cuts) in the UK; above all, the whole “holocaust” farrago, especially not but exclusively the “gas chambers” nonsense.

When I returned from Rhodesia in 1977, I took a number of easy-to-get (in those days) short-term jobs. One was hauling around sacks of mail at the Royal Mail sorting office at Redhill, Surrey. Another worker was an older fellow, doing a few months before Christmas, and who had spent his long naval career in submarines. We were talking one day, amid the sacks of mail, about Atlantis. He said that he was sure that there had never been Atlantis, or an Atlantean civilization, because he had spent months, indeed years, on submarines submerged in the Atlantic Ocean, and had never seen anything!

What could one say to such an unthinking person? Ask how many portholes his submarine had?! Make the point that any remains not destroyed by 10,000+ years of tides, currents, and the pressure of water etc, would probably not be detectable by such as sonar?

Pointless to argue with some people, because you are arguing with facts (using the intellect), whereas the “Natalies” of this world have an emotional response based purely on an embedded belief itself based on what others have sown in the uncritical field of their minds.

If two scribblers for the Irish Daily Mail (someone called Tom Doorley —apparently a restaurant critic— and one Phillips, a reporter or other “journalist”) yesterday reacted quite as unthinkingly in defence of “Bootstrap Cook”, then what can be expected of “Natalie”? In fact, said scribblers were far more rude, and no more intelligent, in their response to a tweeter tweeting about “Jack Monroe”, than “Natalie”.

I suppose that “Jack Monroe” will be fairly sanguine about the Twitter-storm around her behaviour. After all, so far 600+ people are still each shoving ยฃ3.50-ยฃ10 her way every single month, most of the public will be unaware of the questions raised about her, and the major msm outlets (Observer etc) are still puffing her entirely uncritically.

Well, let’s see…non-white UK Prime Minister arranges with other non-white “leaders” (globalist puppets) that the British people should pay for the corruption and incompetence of non-white “states”. What is wrong with that? Oh, no, wait…

It is not often that I agree with Dan Hodges, but strange times [etc]…

Interesting that most British people chose countries with a mainly British ethnic base; even the USA does have that to some extent, and of course a common language as well.

As for myself, it would depend, at least to a major extent, on the position I would be in. Emperor or slave? Poet or peasant? I would not want to live in an area without trees, either.

Both opinion polls show a slight swing back to equilibrium after the recent polls showing Con below 20%. Still, 27% or 29% is still low, and there are said to be spending cuts, and restrictions on pay and benefits, to come, which must impact what little popularity the Con Party has. The continuing cross-Channel migration invasion as well.

According to Electoral Calculus, the present state of play might result in an overall Lab majority of about 154 seats: https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html; Con Party with about 150 seats, Lab around 400.
