Saturday quiz

This week, I again beat political journalist John Rentoul, who (oddly) claims 3 and a half out of 10. I scored 5/10. I did not know the answers to questions 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

…but the punchline is that an MP, even if sincere, cannot help those people, who are victims of a global and globalist finance-capital and debt/usury system.

“Democratic” politics (or pseudo-democratic politics, if you like) is running out of road in Europe, including the UK. It is just not providing the people with even the necessities of civilized life— shelter, warmth, food, electrical power, let alone those other things which (as Hitler said) make life worth living. I would list the latter as a cultured life, real education, social peace, peace with other civilized states, law and order, thoughtful architecture and town planning, a perceived future, and hope.

In fact, I do not think that either candidate (or any other) can now save the Conservative Party. It may have come (near) to the effective end of its natural life, just as, in the past, the Liberal Party ceased to be an effective party.

Yes, the Liberals lived on until 1989, having merged with the short-lived Social Democratic Party to become the SDLP in 1988, but the Liberal Party died as a potential party of government sometime in the 1920s: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_Party_(UK); and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_Party_(UK)#Electoral_performance.

True, the Liberals then morphed into the LibDems, but they have never really been a party of government, except in the unusual circumstances of 2010, when David Cameron-Levita induced them to support the Conservative Party in the Con Coalition. Their leadership, especially Nick Clegg and Danny Alexander, sold out for Cabinet seats, red boxes, ministerial cars, ministerial pay, and empty prominence. The LibDems were all but wiped out in 2015, and now occupy the “protest vote” zone once occupied by the old Liberals (from the mid-1920s through to the early 1990s).

The very likely collapse of the Conservative Party vote in 2022-2024 will no doubt mean an increase of LibDemmery in the south of England, but basically the LibDems are a party without a purpose. The other two main System parties, though, are in a not dissimilar position now, in fact.

I am sure that, even if the national average opinion poll, or general election poll, stays at 14% or 19%, there will still be a few dozen Conservative Party MPs left by 2025. Maybe 50. Maybe even 100. However, they will have no real power.

“Boris”-idiot may have been one of the worst Prime Ministers ever (not the worst, though, thanks to Liz Truss), but he was still PM, and will not (imo) give way voluntarily to Rishi Sunak.

Is that “backing” of any weight? Both were useless as ministers, and Priti Patel in particular is completely useless. She only backs “Boris” because no other potential Prime Minister would ever give her a job (which, as before, she would be completely unable to do anyway). Add to that her previous and typical bullying of her staff, treating them as though they were tiffin-wallahs, and her treachery (for which Theresa May sacked her in 2017) in Israel.

As blogged previously, it is clear that the secret ruling circles want the UK to have a non-white prime minister. That is the main reason all sorts of forces are now pushing the Sunak cause; the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.

At time of writing, Sunak has garnered over 100 MPs, and so is seriously in the race. Neither Johnson nor Mordaunt have more than about 70 (Johnson). However, the fat lady has not yet sung. 357 MPs can vote, but it looks as if only about 200 have expressed a preference so far. Johnson may still make it onto the ballot paper.

Either way, the Conservative Party is toast.

More tweets seen

If Sunak wins this contest, he will be unable to call a general election, certainly not for a year or more. If he were to call one almost immediately, the Conservative Party would be reduced from 357 MPs to about 100, at most.

Sunak seems to be inclined to signal to the almighty “markets” that he is serious about not inflating the currency, despite the fact he himself was part of the 2020-2021 “panidemic” nonsense, with “eat out to help out” (money freebie), “furlough” payments (money freebie), business “loans” (money freebies). Etc. Not to mention the vast sums wasted on “PPE”, “Test and Trace” etc, and shutting down much of the UK economy for 2 years.

Sunak will want to slash spending. The embedded NWO influence in the government wants to increase “Defence” spending, including subsidizing the regime of the Jew Zelensky in Kiev. What does that leave as a spending cut victim? NHS? Politically impossible. Pensions? Social security/”welfare”?

The latter two will sink any Sunak government very quickly. Any hit to the pensions Triple Lock will leave the Conservative Party dead in the water electorally. However, any cuts to “welfare” might lead to actual street disorder, and will also hit the millions who receive it while also being employed on inadequate pay.

There seems no obvious way for the Conservative Party to turn this around, or even much to mitigate the damage.

Liz Truss and “Boris” Johnson

https://www.politico.eu/article/liz-truss-uk-prime-minister-ambition-tory-conservatives/.

Interesting, though perhaps a little shallow. Worth reading.

Playing the armchair psychologist, is Liz Truss not a classic psychopathic type (like “Boris”)? Perhaps.

As for Liz Truss, I have posted the 9-minute video below previously. Well worth watching:

Penny Mordaunt’s star has faded in terms of support from MPs, I think partly because she is both a woman and also, in terms of high responsibilities, still something of an unknown quantity. A bit like Liz Truss was a couple of months ago, in other words. Unfair, maybe, but that’s my take on it, at least. MPs may be thinking “once bitten, twice shy“.

How sick is our political system that the only candidates it now throws up (no pun actually intended) are “Boris”-idiot (incompetent, far from as educated as he wants people to believe, dishonest, corrupt, freeloading, someone who does not give a monkey’s flying **** about Britain or its people, a part-Jew and Levantine to boot), and Rishi Sunak (an Indian who threw away hundreds of billions of public money in 2020-2021, and whose wife and family are worth billions of pounds; someone who has no idea about Britain or its people; effectively a foreigner)?

Also, in what kind of decadent and ridiculous society can anyone get £150,000 for making a speech?

“A thought out of season”

When he resigned a couple of months ago, “Boris” Johnson cited the upright Roman dictator, Cincinnatus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucius_Quinctius_Cincinnatus.

Were I myself suddenly to be granted by Fate the powers of a dictator, my first action would be to gather 100 of the most wealthy and “successful” hedge fund owners, investment speculators, bankers, and exploitative businessmen in Trafalgar Square, and have them shot. On television.

Some might say that that would be akin to “shooting the messenger” and that such individuals do not of themselves cause the economic problems of the UK, but just profit out of them (and out of the misery and distress of the British people).

There is at least some truth in that, but such an action would show the British people that the new government was serious about tackling the problems of the country, including the structural and ingrained social problems; also, about properly punishing the leeches who have lived parasitically off the people for so long.

Still, mere socio-political fantasy, for now.

Harold Wilson said, during one of his periodic financial crises as Prime Minister, that the fault lay with “the gnomes of Zurich“. Not wholly true, but not wholly untrue either.

Flawed logic, surely? After all, let us say that, in a most unlikely scenario, 300 Conservative Party MPs agreed to that. Labour and the Lib Dems would therefore only be able to contest 350 seats.

In any case, could those defecting MPs rely on the word of Labour and the LibDems?

As an idea, that is surely the deadest of dead ducks, but I am not very surprised to read that it emerged from David Gauke, a rather unimpressive former MP and minister [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Gauke].

Actually, why would Conservative Party MPs want a general election now anyway? It would result, in our binary system, in a Labour victory (even if not overwhelming), and the defecting Con MPs, most of them, would not be re-elected.

I think that most Con MPs will simply travel on, whether under Sunak or Johnson, and hope that something will turn up to save them and their party.

Late tweets seen

Unexpectedly high results for Con (under either Sunak or Johnson). Surprisingly high. I wonder how accurate those figures are?

According to Electoral Calculus, the figures suggested might result in a Labour majority of somewhere in the 10-25 range. Better by far for the Conservative Party than recent predictions have suggested.

My speculative view is that, if Johnson gets enough nominations, then he will be a candidate, believing that the Con rank-and-file will prefer him to Sunak.

The temptation to make British political history will no doubt prove irresistible. The caveat remains, though— if he can get 100 nominations. Seems very uncertain at present.

There seems, incidentally, to be a kind of concerted push on Twitter and in the msm now to anoint Sunak. The System wants a non-white prime minister, to signal the humiliation of White England. It’s all connected.

Diary Blog, 7 September 2022, with thoughts about Russia, Ukraine, and NATO expansion since the 1990s, as well as the new Liz Truss Cabinet, and Ukrainian “refugees”

Tweets and thoughts about Russia, Ukraine, and NATO expansion since the 1990s

I remember Bill Bradley from when I lived in New Jersey in the early 1990s. One of those “best President (or Prime Minister) who never made it” figures, like (in the UK) Rab Butler, Enoch Powell etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Bradley.

On the main question here, the Russia-Ukraine situation, we see above a number of figures from, inter alia, the U.S. State Department, the CIA, the British Foreign Office, not to mention the American, Australian and other political establishments, all warning against NATO expansionism and against stoking Ukrainian political and military aggressiveness.

Few of those political and diplomatic figures can be, plausibly, written off as “Russian shills” and the like, as we see all too often written on Twitter and elsewhere, as the unthinking “I stand with Ukraine” mob bay for anything up to and even including nuclear war with Russia.

The disastrous policy of actively supporting the Jew-Zionist kleptocracy in Kiev headed (or figureheaded) by Zelensky is bad enough in itself (and is soon going to result in recession and/or stagflation in the UK and the EU) but, worse than that, may develop into a military situation between NATO and Russia which may then slip or slide into a nuclear conflict which would devastate the UK, much of Europe, the industrialized parts of Russia, and the cities of the USA.

Other tweets seen

I may not like moneygrubbing expenses cheat and Bilderberger, Ed Balls, and the same goes (double) for his venal, hypocritical, “refugees welcome” (but not in her own several homes) wife, Yvette Cooper, but it has to be said that Balls is a trained economist, and did criticize at the time the ludicrously wrongheaded “austerity” nonsense put forward by the part-Jews David Cameron-Levita and George Osborne from 2010-2015, a policy which has run Britain threadbare.

Ukrainian “refugees”

I recently posted on the blog this Daily Mail account from a no doubt well-meaning Jewish woman in the UK who signed up for the Government scheme to host Ukrainian “refugees”: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11182855/Why-Im-glad-Ukrainian-refugee.html.

A salutary tale, and one which I have just reread, this time also reading many of the readers’ comments. Some had had similar experiences.

I was reminded, reading all that, of an experience of my own.

Over twenty years ago (how time flies in this world when one is no longer young), I was invited, with my wife, to the wedding of a friend, and former teacher at a language school where I had been a part-time student in the early 1980s.

I have mentioned Ig [Ignat] Avsey a couple of times in the past on this blog. https://www.theguardian.com/education/2013/dec/09/ignat-avsey-obituary

I had become very friendly in the late 1980s and early 1990s with Ig, a noted translator of Dostoyevsky; Ig was divorced (from decades before) and lived in a semi-detached house with a large garden, in North Finchley (London outskirts).

Ig worked at a language school near Warren Street, in Central London, an institute where most of the Russian-language faculty were exiles of one sort or another. He himself had been born in Latvia between the world wars; when he was 14, his family fled to Germany, at the end of WW2, and as the Red Army advanced from the East. They had then settled in the UK.

I sometimes enjoyed a drink, and occasionally a curry in Drummond Street (also near Warren Street), with Ig and one or other of his friends, such as “Uncle John”, a divorced fellow whose wife, Alla from Leningrad, was another language teacher of mine at one time, or with Guy Churchill, a pleasant retiree and one-time SAS soldier (during the Malayan Emergency of the 1950s), who had the odd habit (never seen before or since) of breaking the filter tips off his cigarettes before smoking them.

Ig was rather eccentric, and sometimes did things which were very surreal, as when he took me, for no obvious reason, to have tea with the writer, Doris Lessing [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Lessing], at a cafe-bar near the language school. A strange, awkward, rather Kafkaesque experience.

It never occurred to me that Ig, not far off retirement age, might remarry and so compromise his bachelor life of Russo-Soviet culture, beer, and collecting railway clocks (several were in the main room of his house). I was therefore surprised to be invited to his wedding, at a Register Office somewhere on the extension of Edgware Road, far up that road, maybe near Brent Cross (I cannot now exactly recall).

My wife and I attended the short ceremony, and met the bride. She was Russian but had been resident in Latvia, where Ig had met her (not sure where or how; possibly at a bus stop or the like). She was supposedly mid-twenties (my wife thought older), and looked a bit lost amid Ig’s rather grey-haired friends, who included a couple of occasional teachers of mine at that language school, one being a one-time Army linguist (and keeper of goats), another being Gerald Brooke, who had spent 4 years in prison near Moscow before being swapped for the Krogers: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Brooke; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_Cohen_(spy); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lona_Cohen.

That was the wedding. Some time later, Ig asked me to take his new wife to lunch at Lincoln’s Inn. She was friendly, pleasant, and told me that she had a law degree from Latvia, maybe Riga.

Scroll forward. My wife and I took on the lease of a large country house, one of the largest in North Cornwall.

We invited Ig and his wife to stay for the weekend. They arrived, but right from the start there was something wrong. For one thing, in a cold autumn, Ig’s wife came in a short dress, no coat, no gloves, perhaps unaware of how cold a large English country house can be, despite large fuel bills (one January, I spent nearly £700 on oil alone; plus coal and firewood. £700, in one month, 20 years ago).

Ig’s wife was actually quite rude from the start, not at all friendly to my wife, treated her like a serf, did not offer any help or whatever (we had the big house, but not any domestic staff as such), and just seemed to be sulking constantly. We assumed that the ill-matched couple had had a spat on the way down.

Anyway, after a weekend which —without going into great detail— tested my wife’s patience to the hilt, and when the pair were almost ready to go home, my wife thought to take some extra towels to their room (the house had originally had 26 bedrooms). She saw that Ig’s new wife’s suitcase was open on the bed; on top of the contents, a silk scarf belong to my wife, from Hermes. Ig’s wife had actually stolen the silk scarf (and other items, including bottles of scent) and placed them in her suitcase. The item were retrieved, and a diplomatic way found to raise the matter with the guest/thief.

Not an entirely successful weekend.

After that, I received calls from Ig’s Russian friends, begging me to think of a way to “save him from that stupid girl, who knows nothing but films and fashion“.

In fact, Ig did try to divorce her, after he overheard her talking to her mother in Riga, and the pair plotting to divorce him and so get half of his quite valuable house. In the end, the divorce never happened, despite preliminary court hearings.

Ig was prevailed upon to change his mind and, looking at that Guardian obit, they seem to have remained married until his death some 11 years later. I hope that the woman was not unkind to Ig in his last years, because he was a good fellow, but I never saw him after the disastrous weekend, and only spoke to him a couple of times when (maybe at her instigation) he wanted to bring her down again to Cornwall. I could not put my wife through that sort of nonsense again, though.

I presume that that woman got his house, I believe worth (in 2013) about £800,000 (and I suppose worth twice that much now), and other financial benefits.

However, not all Russians, Ukrainians etc can be tarred with the same brush. For example, I knew one girl (from Kiev) who was offered marriage by a British diplomat (who became an ambassador only about 2 years later) but refused him.

Many Russians (and, no doubt, Ukrainians too) are very fine people, but they come from a very different cultural and social background than English people. History has been harsh in those regions, and attitudes are fashioned out of such history.

Liz Truss Cabinet

Mirabile dictu! I agree with James O’Brien on something…

The main surprise is that Nadine Dorries is not there, it being rumoured that she is about to be elevated to the Lords. Well, why not? After all, a woman (Michelle Mone) who faked a “success story” about her insolvent bra company is there, as are several absurd black women, one of whom is only there because her son was killed in a scuffle with white yobs at a bus stop. Just a few examples of the deadheads in the House of Lords (Oona King is another one).

I was just looking at the new Cabinet: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-62796077. Jesus Christ…

Incidentally, the blog has had thousands of hits in the past few days, one of the most popular posts being my 2019 (with updates since then) assessment of the new Health Secretary, Therese Coffey: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/09/16/deadhead-mps-an-occasional-series-the-therese-coffey-story/.

In principle, correct, but there is no mechanism, as we have seen in recent years, for the public to be able to dispense with even the most ridiculous Prime Minister, until given an opportunity at a general election.

Another humiliation for Britain, having this ridiculous creature as Foreign Secretary, complete with his “degree” in Hospitality Management from West London Poly.

Like several other Conservative Party MPs, Cleverly started a company when he was trying to launch a political career, so that it would look good on his CV. A number of such companies are more or less fakes, designed to pad out otherwise unimpressive CVs. In Cleverly’s case, his company turned over less than £551 in 2008, its supposed first full year of operation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Cleverly#Early_life_and_education. Its net assets were around £1,000: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/06424833/filing-history.

In fact, apart from a couple of years as a sales manager, Cleverly seems not to have had a job for much of his life, unless you include his Territorial Army officer activity. He was never commissioned into the Regular Army, by reason of a supposed leg injury (unspecified); nor is it known whether he dropped out of Sandhurst or other training institution.

A couple more bits of news about the new Cabinet

That little pissant Robert Jenrick, a total puppet of the Jew-Zionist/Israel lobby, has been appointed a Minister of State despite his very “questionable” links to Jew property speculators.

Jewish wife; children brought up as if full-Jew. Completely in the Zionist pocket.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/sep/07/robert-jenrick-and-steve-baker-return-to-frontbench-as-ministers-of-state.

Sacked as a Secretary of State previously, so in effect a demotion.

The other news is that ex-officer Johnny Mercer, who seemed like a rare breath of fresh air in the Commons at first (but who, disappointingly, turned out to be a moneygrubber, at least from what I have read), has been kicked out of Government, and his wife, seeing the extra salary etc disappearing up the chimney, is livid.

I suppose that Mercer was hoping against hope to be appointed at some later stage as Defence Secretary, though his “bring it on!” rhetoric about nuclear war with Russia hardly inspired confidence in his judgment.

As for Mercer’s wife, Felicity, of whom I knew nothing until today, I award her 9 out of 10 for honesty, 1 out of 10 for diplomacy, and another 9 out of 10 for making my day more amusing.

Anyone who thinks that “Boris”-idiot gives a monkey’s flying **** for Ukraine or its people is sadly mistaken. This is all about “Boris” once more trying to play the poundland Churchill (“...second time as farce“) in response to his sharply-waning popularity in the UK.

Of course, it all meshes with the NWO strategy of weakening and eventually capturing Russia. The NWO nearly succeeded in doing that in the 1990s, when Russia was all but taken over by a pack of “oligarch” Jews, with drunken idiot Yeltsin as figurehead. Putin was the imperfect but necessary antidote to that slide into the gutter.

If a general NATO-Russia war happens, sooner or later Britain will be the first to be hit by nuclear missiles. Forget about whether Russia will also be hit, or the USA.

The fact is that a geographically small space like the UK has no chance in such a scenario. Pretty much the whole country will be either destroyed or badly damaged, and mostly irradiated.

What will all the pseudo-macho posturers on Twitter, and the thick-as-two-short planks MPs (such as Johnny Mercer) do then? Cry into their beer (if any beer still exists) as their homes, families, and cities are wiped out? As their whole way of life disappears in minutes…

This is at least as mad as the rush to war in 1914 or 1939.

“They” (((they))) (you-know-who’s) are among the most fervent of the warmongers. Again.

Economic growth” will come to a dead stop once Russian missiles hit this country… Almost everything else will do the same.

Since when did “defending Ukraine“, a state which has only existed as such for 30 years, a state with which Britain has no treaties of importance, a country with which Britain has had almost no connection historically, count as a core British interest?

Gove, that snivelling little cocaine-sniffer, drunk, fraudster, and expenses freeloader, is just another Westminster puppet of the NWO and ZOG.

Afternoon music

[Volegov, Among the Roses]

I happened to notice that that concerto was recorded at Kingsway Hall in Central London [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingsway_Hall].

When I returned to the UK after a youthful extended visit to Rhodesia in 1977, I found myself at a loose end. I did odd bits and pieces of work here and there. One such, I think in 1978, involved working (usually humping around heavy equipment) for a few days here, a few days there, arranged by a casual-labour company. A few days were spent carrying around recording equipment in metal cases for the EMI record company, based in Abbey Road Studios, St. John’s Wood, only about 15 mins walk from my then home. I too have often crossed that zebra crossing made famous by the Beatles…

Kingsway Hall was prized for its superb acoustics. EMI often used it. In fact, I myself owned at least one record (vinyl) recorded there (in 1975), arguably the best interpretation of Prokofiev’s 7th Symphony (London Symphony Orchestra, cond. Walter Weller).

Many famous people had been at Kingsway Hall since its construction in the late 19thC: world-famous composers, conductors, and soloists, even Winston Churchill.

In 1978, the building must have been already in a very poor state of repair: various parts of the auditorium (and all of the upper seating areas) had notices warning people not to step there. It was not open to the public, for health and safety reasons.

The building was demolished in 1998; an expensive hotel now stands on the site.

I have not commented on the recent public celebrations, which after all were both a show for the masses and an example of “Hamlet without the Prince of Denmark”, the Monarch herself having been largely absent.

You still have people, including scribblers for major newspapers, talking as if we are still in the age of Palmerston, or even Walpole. In strict constitutional theory, true— Britain is not “presidential” in its constitutional structure but, in reality, “the medium is the message” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_medium_is_the_message] because the TV is really all that matters politically to 90% of the voting public.

“Boris” is, of course, idiotic, but there he is, bobbing around, a massive inflated dummy, like those huge caricature balloon heads or effigies you see in foreign religious or other parades.

The system Britain now has is at least quasi-presidential, in effect.

11 possibilities mentioned by name; over half are part-Jewish, or Indian, or Pakistani, by origin.

Seems that even members of the Conservative Party are rather underwhelmed by the “choice”, looking at those figures. Even the most popular is only endorsed by 12% of those asked.

As for those hostile to Boris-idiot, it was all about Partygate, not about the mass immigration that this government has in reality encouraged, not about the Poundland Churchill, “Boris”, provoking Russia more every week that passes, not even about the cost of living situation. “And they call it democracy”…

I think so too, but it is a long time since I practised at the Bar, and I was certainly never a specialist in the construction of statute law, or in the validity of “advice” or regulations purportedly made under secondary law and/or primary law.

Quite. Also, while we are on the subject of American (government) behaviour, I have been struck by the hypocrisy of “the West” over the events in Belarus.

AsI have blogged previously, Belarus is, in effect, a dictatorship, though a far better one than many which the West supports with words and arms (inter alia, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar), not to mention China.

I daresay that there is discontent in Belarus, arising mainly from economic conditions, as well as those factors arising from relative lack of political freedom.

Having said that, the Western msm has been overplaying the “brutal tyranny” stuff. I hear on radio, see on TV, read about the repression of the discontent. Some people obviously have been badly treated, beaten etc. However, I also heard that some of those detained, and some who were ill-treated, were in fact released within hours, in some case a day or so, of having been detained.

In addition, some of the protesters themselves have admitted that the Belarus KGB and police were unwilling, generally speaking, to hit or brutalize women and old people. They obviously have some moral or ethical principles. European standards.

Compare that to how the USA often treats those whom it detains or abducts: “waterboarding”, i.e. cruel torture (in one case done dozens of times a day to a prominent prisoner, for reasons of sadism); hooding for hours, days, even weeks; cruel restraint techniques; use of attack dogs etc.

The names of the American “facilities” or concentration camps (those not still secret) are notorious: Guantanamo, Bagram, Abu Ghraib. Things were and perhaps are done there that have not been claimed even of the Soviet GULAG system, or during the German rule over Eastern Europe in the early 1940s.

When Johnny Mercer was first elected (2015), I thought that he would be a rare honest MP and a breath of fresh air at Westminster. Sadly, I was wrong. He has turned out to be basically a moneygrubber and waste of space (and a total woodentop): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Mercer_(politician); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Mercer_(politician)#Controversies

Most ex-professional soldiers (in peacetime) who become MPs turn out to be useless.

To me, who was in Australia (Mosman/Cremorne, Sydney, NSW) for 2-3 years as a child of 10-13 (1967-69), it is incredible to see what a police state Australia has become. When I was there, the whole country had only 12 million people (it’s 25 million now). It was a white European-origined population, mostly of British ancestry. Now, very mixed. Result? You see it…

It occurs to me that Australia is being used as a laboratory, and its people as lab rats. Mixed population now (they have even imported Africans!); then made to fear “the virus”, with strict “lockdowns” and facemask police state-ism and all that nonsense.

Meanwhile, Australia has entered its first economic recession for about 35 years…

https://twitter.com/Debsy80s/status/1305046119811088386?s=20

Why? Because the msm is basically controlled or very strongly influenced by the NWO, ZOG, and the associated Jewish lobby. That’s why…

The Government has no legal right to impose the severe and miserable restrictions on our lives with which it has wrecked the economy, brought needless grief to the bereaved and the lonely and destroyed our personal liberty.

This is the verdict of one of the most distinguished lawyers in the country, the retired Supreme Court Judge Lord Sumption.

He said last week in a podcast interview: ‘I don’t myself believe that the Act confers on the Government the powers that it has purported to exercise.’”

He was referring to the Public Health Act of 1984, the basis for almost all the sheaves of increasingly hysterical decrees against normal life which the Health Secretary Matt Hancock has issued since March. I promise you that it is not usual for a retired senior judge to use such language in public.

This 1984 Act was drawn up mainly to give local magistrates the power to quarantine the sick.

Nothing in it remotely justifies these astonishing moves – house arrest, travel restrictions, harsh limits on visiting family members, interference with funerals and weddings, closure of churches, compulsory muzzles, bans on assembly and protest.

English law just does not allow an Act of Parliament to be stretched so far.” [Peter Hitchens, quoting Lord Sumption, Daily Mail].

…and just in case you still imagine that you live in a “free country”, the Daily Mail has tipped the wink to its readers: “Sorry we are not currently accepting comments on this article.” Quite. That would be going too far, would it not? After all, some of the comments would be about ZOG and NWO, and even “the Great Reset” etc…

SNP and Scottish independence

I have always found the SNP idea of Scottish “independence” odd. Free Scotland from Westminster and England, but not from supranational bodies such as the EU, NATO (probably), the international banking matrix, or the UN.

Also, what kind of nationalism is it that says that a Pakistani born or even simply living in, say, Glasgow, is more “Scottish” than a white European, say English but with Scottish or part-Scottish ancestry, and who may be living in England, maybe only on the border at Berwick on Tweed?

If Scotland departs, then it will be considerably poorer than it now is. Money is not everything, true, but the only benefit I can see to Independence is the right to stop mass immigration etc, and the SNP policies indicate that their intention is the opposite.

Having said that, if the majority of Scots want to pull away from the Union, then I say go with good wishes, so long as you do not become an enemy state.

Thoughts about the public mood in the UK as a government of clowns tries to act like a conclave of petty tyrants (forget “statesmen”)

We have seen the government of clowns first frighten the public out of its skin, then beg members of that public to return to work (muzzled on trains and buses), and we have seen all the other contradictory policies of a government that obviously has no idea of what it is doing; abetted by a non-Opposition that really just echoes the Government.

We also see much about how many people have got used to not going to work because paid as much or nearly as much (and in net terms, maybe more) to stay home and work online, or furloughed (paid by State benefit). Now we see others than Peter Hitchens telling people off for staying home etc, when the real culprits are the Cabinet of Boris-idiot, the ludicrously-misnamed “SAGE” committee, most MPs, and the compliant msm.

The fact is that the economy is crashing to a halt or at least a low point, all so that a virus which is not killing people now, can be confronted (and so that the Government is not exposed as totally incompetent).

Today, msm reports are that 3,300 people tested positive for “the virus”, and the number that died from it was…5. Not 500, not 50, but 5.

Resistance is growing.

Rename it: “Operation Bullshot” is a good name for it.

Below: the Jew Shapps tries to fool the public once again.

Near-cretinous.

Maybe the Duchess could be shown the place where they train the dogs to detect bullshit.

Seems that Dan Hodges wants things to return to “normal” in a situation where many do not: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8701473/DAN-HODGES-Left-dont-care-Costa-staff-losing-jobs.html

Where are the public on this? I detected (look at my blogs posts from as long ago as April or even March) that the public mood was by no means gung-ho to return to work etc, even discounting the fear factor so incessantly whipped up by the government.

My view was and still is that people would like a better way of organizing the work-life balance. Less work, or less frenetic work, more leisure or at least other, more personal work, nearer to home.

I have, in earlier blog posts, postulated the idea of “a society of measure” to set against both the existing (pre-virus) frenetic workaholic society and also against the 1960s idea of the “society of leisure”.

In practical terms, that could mean people working fewer hours per week, or the same number of hours per week but on fewer days, such as 10 hours a day for 4 days per week, or even 13 hours per day for 3 days per week, leaving 3-4 days per week for other activity.

My view is that there should be one day a week when all or almost all shops etc are shut. That creates rhythm in the society.

A start must also be made with Basic Income, even if at first that Income does not cover even all basic necessities.

I think that the public, as individuals and families, are ready to consider other forms of societal organization. If paid work (talking about persons employed by others) occupies 3-4 days per week, and if a measure of Basic Income exists, people will be free to start businesses of their own in the remaining 2-3 days (with 1 day as “day of total leisure”).

This is not just pie in the sky. J.K. Rowling has written about how it was only the relatively more generous “welfare” arrangements of the 1990s that enabled her to sit in cafes writing Harry Potter. It was not that more money was given, though that might also have been true in real terms, but that she was not harried by DWP staff constantly (as her equivalent would now be under a system which was made far harsher by the part-Jap Iain “Duncan” Smith and the Jew “lord” Freud and others).

Because J.K. Rowling was not harried by petty bureaucrats, she was able to write her first bestselling book, which has created a huge industry for this country: books, films, spinoffs.

My sense is that people generally want a society which is less pressured.

As for the “measures” taken by government, most people are now rather sceptical, but the constant msm propaganda (esp. but not only on the BBC) is keeping some fear instilled too.

The Protocols of Zion are not (as Jews always assert) “a forgery” or “Tsarist forgery” but literary fantasy clothing reality and a real agenda pursued by real cabals. One has to ask why the Jewish lobby, in particular, is always so keen to dismiss the Protocols, and ban their sale etc, if they are just a silly forgery which no sensible person could believe…

https://twitter.com/VGloves51/status/1301571368354549762?s=20

No doubt the cause was just, but I had to laugh too: “the strikers used their cars to drive to working mills and spread the strike.” Imagine, say, similarly and indeed far more downtrodden workers in that year in, say, the Soviet Union. No cars for the workers, and any workers brave or foolish enough to attempt a strike certainly arrested by the NKVD and probably shot (some might be “lucky” enough to get 10-20 years in the brutal labour camps run by the GULAG administration).

Slightly off-topic, not many people in the West know that, as late as the 1980s, a black in South Africa had a statistically higher chance of owning a car than a citizen of the Soviet Union. Somehow, the BBC never did explain that to its audience.

Even more off-topic, I was listening to BBC World Service last night, and some on-message drone was referring to “the racist apartheid regime” of South Africa under white rule. In the 1980s that became the invariable BBC way of referring to South Africa. Biased journalists such as John Humphrys.

The idiot on the radio last night then went on to describe the South Africa of those days as “totalitarian“, which is just silly and inaccurate.

“Totalitarian” has always proven a difficult word. Orwell himself got slightly muddled using it in one or two essays and, in the film version of John le Carre’s book, The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, Claire Bloom’s character refers to Dão as “a totalitarian wine” (because Portugal was at the time a semi-“fascist” dictatorship, akin to that of Spain under Franco). Dictatorial yes, “totalitarian”, no.

Brexit

Image

I favoured Leave, and still favour Brexit, in principle, but it has been criminally mishandled by at least two Prime Ministers now, and shows every sign of being what Johnny Mercer MP called “a shitshow“. If he thought that of Theresa May’s term of office and her handling of Brexit, what can he think, secretly (?), of Boris-idiot?

Jessica Krug

White“? More accurately, Jewish.

Well, “white” had better be put to one side. Let’s just say that Jessica Krug (of whom I had never heard until yesterday) is just another Jewish fraud. Not old enough to be a “holocaust” fraud or hoaxer (though plenty get sympathy and/or make money by claiming to be the offspring of “holocaust” “victims” or “survivors”). Google “holocaust frauds” or “holocaust hoaxes”.

Some people just want to be part of something of which they are, in reality, not part. “My father/grandfather/uncle/friend/man I met in a pub/someone or other… liberated Belsen“… There are hundreds on Twitter alone that claim that.

Another example, more niche perhaps, is mentioned by ex-SAS personnel in their memoirs, to the effect that hundreds of people, even ex-soldiers, claim to have taken part in the Iranian Embassy siege assault in 1980. In fact, about 30-35 SAS personnel were there, either assaulting the building or in other roles.

Memory can be faulty over time, even where no fraud or dishonesty is involved. Some of the SAS soldiers who were at that incident have fallen out over who did what. I was thinking back to where I was on that day. It was a warm sunny day, and I was in a pub in Whitehall. I remember (quite mistakenly) being in that pub in the late afternoon when the assault took place. In fact, my memory (often described as far better that that of others) is faulty here, because the SAS assault actually started later, in early evening: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_Embassy_siege#SAS_assault. I also “recall” it being a Sunday (it was a Monday).

This latest hoax or fraud, by Jessica Krug, may not be quite on the “Anne Frank diary” scale, but she was doing OK out of it until exposed. Now she hopes to make more by recounting her (compelled) “confession” on TV etc. She will probably even write a book about it.

Every single time…(you know what I mean…).

In fact, the whole black/white question in the USA is a mass of contradictions. One of the absurd aspects is how a “half-caste” or mixed-race person is always “black”; and so Barack Obama, whose mother is or was a white Northern European by origin (Scottish, German etc) was “America’s first black President”.

Obama made a big thing of it, writing a pretty dull short book about having gone to Kenya in search of his “roots”, but he never did that in respect of his (Scottish or German etc) European roots…Yet, when you think of it, from where came Obama’s cultural landscape, Europe or Africa? It’s not really even a question.

Everything that Obama had came to him from European ideas, jurisprudence, ethics, but through an American prism. Africa contributed nothing, really. What could it contribute?

Trump

Interesting opinion piece. The author is anti-Trump, whereas I myself am both anti-Trump and equally (if not more so) anti-“antifa” and the anti-Trumpers…

I can see the potential for some kind of civil war in the USA, but for a war you need two (or more) organized sides. I say “or more” because sometimes a war even in one region or one country involves several different sides.

One reason why the war in and around Bosnia was so poorly reported on (not only in the USA but the UK) was because there were a number of warring parties even within Bosnia, and reporters and their organizations were unable or unwilling to explain the complexities to perceivedly dim and/or ignorant readers, viewers and listeners in the USA and UK.

So far, the USA has not reached the “civil war” threshold. If it ever did, the stance of the US military machine would not only be important but in every way determinative.

…and the tweet below made me laugh!

In her case, a bag over the head might be better…

It is not often understood that, in the world of publishing, there was, until the advent of the Internet, a stranglehold over what was published, exercized by publishers, agents etc. Many if not most were (and are) Jews. Now, self-publishing is easier, but the Jewish influence is still pervasive and has been worsening. For example, many well-known works, as well as obscure ones, are now “not available” from Amazon and other outlets (e.g. Abe Books). Why? I think that you can guess (((the reason)))…

I recall giving my (as yet unpublished) work, The End of the Millennium and the New Age of Alexander to a reader at, in American terminology, a very “preppy” literary agency with an office in Fifth Avenue, New York. I recall the personable Ivy League fellow who saw me; Brooks Brothers clothing, and expensive-looking spectacles. I am not sure, though, whether I still have his eventual letter which said, in part (and in rather Anglophile language), “Thank you for letting me have a crack at it. It is the most extraordinary work I have ever read…[but]…it will never be published in New York.” Again, I think that one can guess (((why))).

That was nearly 30 years ago. Were I less lazy, I should have put my book on the Internet, or self-published, but so far have not done either. Perhaps I should. Still, it exists in the Akashic Record, and for me that is the most important thing.

Hardly surprising when you look at the present Cabinet, full of drug abusers such as Boris-idiot and that little expenses cheat, cocaine abuser, drunk and Jews’ doormat, Michael Gove.

As ever, I suppose that I should point out again that I am neither follower nor fan of Peter Hitchens; he is however one of the few msm scribblers and talking heads to point out the “emperor’s new clothes” emptiness of contemporary politics and society. My assessment of him from a year or so ago: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/05/19/peter-hitchens-and-his-views/

The difference being that, in the 1950s, no government would have dared to make facemasks or muzzles compulsory, even in those more “authoritarian” days.

What is it about these American politicians?! Biden thinks that a black invented the light bulb (I suppose that blacks have invented some things…or maybe not). Dan Quayle could not spell “potatoes”, Hillary Clinton said that she had been fired at in Bosnia, while Al Gore “invented the World Wide Web”, which must have surprised Tim Berners-Lee.

Is it because they are American, or because they are what Hitler called “dirty democratic politicians“?

Incidentally, an Englishman, Joseph Swan, invented the light bulb parallel to Thomas Edison. The pair set up a company together in England: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Swan

Musical interlude

Britain goes Kafka, 2020

I was listening to the news on BBC Radio 4 in the early evening. A litany of the absurd. First of all, the news that air travellers from Portugal and parts (!) of Greece who arrive in Scotland and Wales will (suddenly) now have to “self-isolate” for two weeks on arrival, but not if they arrive at an airport in England or Northern Ireland!

So…if an aircraft is going to, say, Manchester, but gets diverted to, say, Glasgow, the passengers, instead of going home, will have to go into quarantine? Or will they just be allowed to go home, but have to “self-isolate” there for two weeks? If that latter is the case, the passengers would go to their homes whether the plane lands at Glasgow or Manchester, but in the one case, they will be prisoners in their own homes for 14 days, but in the other case they will be free to roam!

Johnny Mercer was right to call Theresa May’s administration a “shitshow”, but he says nothing about this ******* circus! Of course, he has a Government job now (junior minister, Defence): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Mercer_(politician). At one time I thought that he must be a rare honest MP, but then all his moneygrubbing came to light. Shameful…

In that same news broadcast, we were told that “local lockdowns” were being lifted in some parts of the Manchester area, but not in Bolton!

Political Kafka.

Also, how does anyone in “authority” (if that term now has any meaning) know that the hapless “self-isolaters” are actually complying? Do police check? Once? Twice?

This is a bad joke, like everything now.

General Election 2019 Daily Updated Blog (no.7)

Time for a new blog thread covering the upcoming General Election set down for 12 December 2019. As with the previous six, it will be updated many times daily.

Only 9 clear days left before Polling Day.

Boris-idiot must be stopped. It is not a matter of being “pro-Corbyn” or “pro-Labour” (which I am not, as such) but of stopping a superficially constitutional coup d’etat.

Johnson’s Cabinet is a pack of pro-Israel, pro-Zionist, pro-Jew traitors. Few are even British except in terms of their passports. In fact, Boris-idiot himself actually had a U.S. passport until 2017! He is part-Jew, part-Turk, part-God-knows-what, born in New York City, brought up in the USA and Belgium. His fake “English upper class” persona is a theatrical act on which he has worked all his miserable life.

Cartoons often explain political and social realities very clearly. Here is Boris-idiot misusing the recent terror attack for immediate political purposes:

boris

Below, David Davis making a fool of himself:

Pity. In some respects David Davis would have made a far better PM than Boris (well, almost anyone would, of course) but, at the same time, Davis is as thick as two short planks.

This morning, I heard some thick-sounding Welshman on Radio 4. Turned out that the weaselling idiot was the Secretary of State for Justice, Robert Buckland, no less!…

One of the most notorious Jewish Zionist fanatics takes yet again to Twitter to rail at a Corbyn supporter, in this case the singer Ed Sheeran.

So “50%” of Jews are “planning” to leave the UK if Labour “win” the election? Ha ha! I doubt it. Most of them, adopting the famous phrase of Macmillan, have never had it so good! We recall only too well Maureen Lipman‘s whining along the same or similar lines, starting in 2014. She’s still here, unfortunately.

Another example: former supposed “top defamation lawyer” Mark Lewis, the “top lawyer” whose only assets, according to the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal [SDT] under the auspices of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority [SRA] at his 2018 “trial” —at which he was found guilty and fined—, were his own clothes, a mobility scooter and a pension worth £70 a week! “They” can certainly talk a good game! Lewis and his girlfriend/carer, Mandy Blumenthal, did go to Israel, i.e. emigrated, after Lewis was found guilty, but both have since returned on several occasions, and their emigration had nothing to do with Labour or Corbyn.

Mark Lewis was thoroughly exposed at his “trial” (disciplinary tribunal) as an offensively-ranting, medically slowly degenerating troll and fake, whose prescription drugs meant that (as he himself testified) he “did not know what he was doing” at times. He was also being jettisoned by his employers (in fact already had been, at time of trial) and had debts. He jumped ship, in effect.

[anyone wishing to read about Mark Lewis and his behaviour can do so here

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/01/11/update-re-mark-lewis-lawyer-questions-are-raised/

Below, Lewis once again giving flawed legal advice, this time about Israeli law!

Israel, despite being a liberal democratic country, is not an immigration country. Therefore, Israel does not have laws and regulations enabling foreigners who wish to come and settle Israel the opportunity to do so.”

https://www.visa-law.co.il/immigration-to-israel-and-israeli-citizenship/

“Both Zimmermann and Amar-Dahl describe a country that has historically welcomed, indeed, continued to actively seek Jewish immigrants from other countries. Yet, Israel shuns other refugees and immigrants. “They set a clear limit: admission for Jews only,”

As I have blogged in the past, I am very glad that “Mark Lewis Lawyer” is not my lawyer!

I had never heard of Ed Sheeran until about a year ago, and I would certainly not recognise any of his music, but I understand that he is quite popular. As to Silverman, whose sinister title at the Israel-lobby “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or CAA is “Head of Investigations and Enforcement”, you can read about him readily enough on the Internet. I myself  wrote this in 2017:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/

The Jews (at least the Zionist, pro-Israel ones) seem to want to make this election, and British politics generally, all about them. An old saw says “be careful what you wish for”.

Leaving aside these nuisances, what about the real election news?

The news that struck me this morning is that the rail union, RMT, is planning to hold strikes, starting very soon. Well, recalling idiotic thickhead Bob Crow, the one-time (now deceased) leader of the RMT, I do not expect great intelligence from them, but it is hard to imagine anything more damaging to Corbyn and Labour than a strike on the railways just before a General Election!

It conjures up images of “the winter of discontent” in 1978-79. That actually affected relatively few people and did not last all winter either, but people who were not around then —and incredibly a few who were!— often tend to think of it as much more than it was; some think that the whole of the 1970s were either like that or “3 day weeks” because of power cuts (that was just a few weeks, and affected people only peripherally, as I recall, in 1974!). The RMT leadership are idiots. They want a Labour government, or at least for Labour not to be trashed, but then they do this!

And now for something completely different…

Politics should be an outcome of our adherence to our European race and culture, with roots going back into prehistory, but reaching out to a higher future evolution of society:

Just an antidote to the пошлость (“poshlost”) [Russian: tawdriness etc] of the present time…

I also wanted to honour that great conductor, Mariss Jansons (a half-Jew, in fact, as well as half-Latvian), who has died. His interpretations of Shostakovitch and some of the Scandinavian composers were very good.

This is not the place in which I should blog at length about the connection between race, culture and society, but let us at least keep that in mind during the hullabaloo of the election noise.

UKIP

It is a matter of mild amusement but no great surprise to me that UKIP is still around, though only as a shell. It failed to go social-national in 2014, and so failed to break through the FPTP voting scam-barrier in 2015. It slid lower and lower, until Farage found an excuse to desert. He then founded another waste-of-space party, which he has again stabbed in the back and deserted.

Meanwhile, the shell of UKIP is, incredibly, trying to pretend that it can win a seat or seats at this election! Here below is the “interim leader”, some silly old bag called Pat Mountain. I have searched online for information about Ms. Mountain but without much result.

I have blogged before about people who indulge in “hobby politics”, and this lady seems to be a prime example. While I do not disagree with her opposition to migration-invasion, she really should be knitting shawls, volunteering at the local cat rescue or just enjoying coffee with friends (all worthy pursuits, btw; I do not denigrate them) rather than pretending to lead a political party. Also, who are the other UKIP people, who are not ashamed to be led by someone like this?! Words fail…Take a look at the Sky News All Out Politics interview! (below)

https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/top-stories/patricia-mountain-ukip-tommy-robinson-general-election-1-6404488

She really thought that her time was too precious to waste finding out basic statistics like how many asylum applications were granted in the last year on record.

The problem is always “where do political parties go to die?”. When a party collapses, there is always a rump of it left for a while, like a piece of ocean flotsam. BNP, NF, UKIP, Communists (of various kinds) are still around. In this election, UKIP is actually fielding either 43 or 44 candidates (another fact of which its “interim leader” seems unsure). I do not know why UKIP is fielding candidates or why the individual candidates are bothering to stand. I am not a psychiatrist or religious counsellor.

As to the UKIP manifesto, released today, there is little wrong with the actual policies, in fact I agree with most of them, but UKIP people should stop hobby politicking and join a real social-national party— when one exists!

Latest poll:

As I was was blogging weeks ago, the polls are now narrowing. People who oppose Boris-idiot and his ZOG Cabinet are realizing that, to stop Boris-idiot, they need to vote Labour where Labour has a real chance and, where Labour has no chance, vote tactically for, in most cases, the LibDems (despite the flaws of the LibDems and Jo Swinson).

The ICM poll above indicates Conservatives as largest party but 16 MPs short of a Commons majority. That would be OK.

Update, 3 December 2019

So much for “the Conservative Party is the party of law and order”! I was just reading about a small, wealthy town in the South of England, which has one of the highest concentrations of millionaires etc outside parts of London and only small pockets of social housing and/or deprivation. Many houses are in the million-pound-plus bracket and few are worth less than half a million.

Apparently, 4 “yoots” in “hoodies” went around that wealthy quiet town for four hours on one recent night, attacking cars (18 cars in 13 quiet roads). They used crowbars, hammers and a rock so large that it had to be carried by two of the vandals together.

Residents of the town saw some of the vandalism but the vandals ran off when challenged, then carried on nearby. Some residents confronted the criminals but were threatened with a knife. The criminals were obviously unafraid. A number of residents not only saw or heard the crimes taking place but also called 999, only to be told to call 101, at which they were given a crime number and told that the crimes had been “registered”. Others were told that the police were “too busy” to attend.

The crimes noted above affected at least 18 people directly, possibly a hundred indirectly. According to the local newspaper, no-one has been arrested for the tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage: cars with windshields and windows put out, dents, holes etc.

The crime spree apparently went on for over 4 hours, until after 0200.

That town had its police station all but closed a few years ago (it is open for enquiries 9-5 but has few if any police, not even PCSO play police, stationed there). The town has a Conservative MP whom even local Conservatives agree is completely lazy and useless. The constituency is the 5th safest Con seat in the UK. The local council is all or almost all Conservative.

One has to ask: if the Conservatives cannot even keep safe an area like that, what chance London, Birmingham, Manchester? The citizens, unlike those of the USA, are forbidden from keeping, let alone using, firearms. Lawlessness triumphs. Would it have been so bad if the “youths” had been just shot? I don’t think so…

Voting Labour, at least where Labour have a reasonable chance of winning, will not bring about a Corbyn-Labour “Marxist” dictatorship, as his detractors (and even some of his supporters!) believe or pretend to believe. Labour, in this election, has little chance of getting even a small Commons majority. A minority Labour government (propped up by SNP etc) would never have the votes to push through some latter-day policy of, so to speak, “all power to the soviets!” or the like.

No. What you are doing, if you vote Labour (or, where Labour has no real chance, at least LibDem, SNP, or even Brexit Party), is preventing Boris-idiot from imposing a Jewish-lobby ZOG tyranny on the UK, a situation which could lead, eventually, to actual civil war.

On the other hand…

Tactical voting is not ideal, but in a situation where FPTP voting makes the election a rigged joke, may be the only option for many.

Meanwhile, Philip Schofield, who has been “doing very well” financially out of “Conservative” tax policies etc, nakedly partisan on TV (despite the General Election). He must have earned some brownie points with the Jewish lobby for this! Piers Morgan also bats for the Jew lobby… The msm is just infested…

I rarely agree with A.C. Grayling but I do now:

Latest opinion poll:

According to my calculations (using Electoral Calculus, including its Scotland prediction and tactical voting prediction), that would give the Con Party a Commons majority of 8. It is an open question whether the polls will continue to narrow. Maybe so, but the election is still very open either way.

8 clear days left until Polling Day.

This is the sort of evil which the Conservative Party has facilitated:

Update, 4 December 2019

7 clear days left until Polling Day.

The tweet below makes a good point:

Not sure about exactly what “monthly tickets” are referred to, but the underlying meaning is sound: it costs far more in the UK to travel by train vis a vis most countries.

Here’s a tweet about the NHS, which the Boris-idiot Jewish-lobby ZOG Cabinet is planning to “sell off”, i.e. make into a market where (((American))) interests can make more money:

Johnny Mercer, former Army officer and Con candidate for Plymouth Moor View (MP 2015-2019) is getting into more trouble.

I had thought (initially, when Mercer became an MP) that he was better than the Conservative MP average. Wrong. Turned out to be a moneygrubber as well as being an incompetent. Credit where due, though: he did, with reason, call Theresa May’s government “a shitshow”. Rough tough soldier language.

I cannot comment on his military record, but I have to admit that in other ways Johnny Mercer is starting to annoy me. His outside “earnings”, for one thing; also, the fact that he “employs” his wife part-time (on MP expenses). Such family members can make anything up to £50,000, all paid out of Parliamentary expenses. The family income must have flourished since Mercer (who left the Army in 2013 with the modest rank of Captain) became an MP. I wonder what, if anything, his wife does for that money. A “nice little (extra) earner”, anyway.

Mercer is also pro-Jew, pro-Israel. Well, if he were not, I suppose making those extra pennies might be more difficult. He would probably be blacklisted.

In the tweet below, Mercer bats once again for the Jewish lobby, this time against a Jewish woman who opposes the established Jewish-Zionist lobby. Seems that, for Mercer, she is “the wrong kind of Jew”…

I missed this (below) yesterday, probably because Newsnight became so bloody boring as to be almost unwatchable years ago (I never see it now):

As for the NHS under a Boris-idiot government…

LibDems

https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/jo-swinson-conservatives-majority-general-election-progressive-a9232361.html

I do not agree with the writer of that Independent piece that the election is cut and dried. True, the Conservatives are still ahead. True, Boris-idiot is still, incredibly, preferred as PM by 40% of voters (Corbyn is on 22%). True, bad weather is forecast for 12 December, which helps the Cons (because many of their habitual voters are elderly and vote by post).

As against that, the level of the “youth vote” (meaning the under-35s) is hard to quantify but, in marginal constituencies, could change everything….if they vote…

Likewise, it may be that, as the LibDems slide to near-irrelevance in most constituencies, Labour will benefit from the LibDem failure (or will those LibDem voters just stay home?).

At any rate, for me the election is not cut and dried. The writer in the Independent thinks that it is, that Boris-idiot will get a majority and will then impose an elected dictatorship. I do not rule that out and, if it happens, there may only be one way to remove Boris and his MPs (and I think that my readers will be able to guess my meaning), but he has to get a majority first, and that may not happen.

As for Jo Swinson, I agree there with the Independent. There was no need to agree to this election. Jo Swinson did that, and so “shamed” Labour into joining in (but where was their steel?). Boris-idiot and his “advisers” (controllers?) got what they wanted.

Jo Swinson has spent much of the election campaign doormatting for the Jewish lobby. What a total waste of space she is! Most of her main policies are identical to “Conservative” ones anyway.

There is a rumour that she might resign even before the election! I doubt that, but it would be a boost for Labour, mainly, if she did. It seems that there is a 50-50 chance that she will lose her own Scottish seat. She’s washed up now, whatever. Stupid woman.

Update, 5 December 2019

6 clear days until Polling Day.

Latest opinion poll:

Hard to say what that poll means. According to Electoral Calculus, depending on Scottish and tactical factors, it could mean a Commons majority for the Cons of between 16 and 32.

The polls have narrowed, but still not enough, so far, to deny the Cons a majority. A couple of points more or less, and the Cons might be left 16 short of a majority. This election cannot be easily forecast.

BBC bias

I used to defend Laura Kuenssberg against accusations of bias and accusations of being part-Jew. I was wrong. She is part-Jew and she is biased. Re. the latter, have a look at Peter Oborne in The Guardian:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/dec/03/election-coverage-bbc-tories

This (see below) is so true!

I was talking with a lady a while ago about the Conservative Party MP in her area. The MP, an unmeritorious beneficiary of one of the safest Conservative seats in the country, this slug, a former schoolmaster, is so lazy that when said lady wrote to him on a matter of great personal importance to her, the letter actually went unanswered. Not even fobbed-off, but unanswered. The slug has been photographed sleeping in the Chamber of the House of Commons and is despised both in his own constituency and the Commons itself. The said lady now lives in a neighbouring constituency.

I asked “Will you vote?” “Oh, yes!” (people of that age, about 90, feel that it is a civic duty). “Which party?” “Oh, Conservative! I would not want Corbyn getting in!” (there followed a few minutes of the result of Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph brainwashing…).

The absurd fact underpinning the above exchange is that, in both constituencies mentioned, a vote is a waste of time, because in both seats, the Conservative candidate has been elected easily since both seats were formed. In one seat with 40%-65% of the vote; in the other with 50%-60%. So whichever way someone votes it is a waste of time. If Conservative, 1 vote added to 40,000+ others, the majorities in recent elections being over 20,000. On the other hand, a vote even for the LibDem second-placed is also wasted, because so far behind, and one for Labour even more so (in 2015, Labour came 4th in one seat!).

Thus many, in a very rigged and unfair voting system, are now thinking of voting tactically in order to at least exclude the candidate least wanted.

NHS

Brave young doctor makes her points on a London Underground train. Striking. Equally striking, though, is the blase attitude of the other passengers, engrossed in their bloody telephones, apparently.

I was thinking about what a disappointment Johnny Mercer has been as an MP, overall. In fact, that is true of most officers who become MPs. Usually nbg (no bloody good), often moneygrubbers too. Dan Somebody or Other, paratroop officer, who was a Labour MP in recent years, and even talked of as leadership material. Turned out to be just another pro-Jew, pro-Israel nonentity. Then there’s Colonel Bob Stewart. And others.

I certainly agree with the tweet below!

By my calculation, that could still give a Con majority of 14 MPs. This election is getting close-run. It’s going to the wire.

Jews

The Jews, at least the supposed leading ones, have come out against Labour, and for ZOG elected tyranny. They have chosen their side. No mistakes. They have put tribal interests before the welfare of the British people. Fact.

The Government of Complete Imbeciles

I am often to be found ranting about the lack of education (in the real sense), culture or plain commonsense in the connected worlds of politics, journalism and law, as well as at the steep decline in quality in those areas and generally. Thus it was with a cynical sneer that I read the statements made by Cabinet ministers (!) this past week and in other recent weeks. Take a look at this piece from The Guardian (a pro-Remain article, but leave that aside).

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/nov/09/dominic-raab-brexit-government?CMP=share_btn_tw

Extracts:

  • “I hadn’t quite understood the full extent of this, but if you look at the UK and if you look at how we trade in goods, we are particularly reliant on the Dover-Calais crossing.” [Brexit Secretary, Dominic Raab];
  • “My wife would say [my Lego collection is] far too large, but I find Lego therapeutic … Everybody who does any difficult or stressful job needs a way to switch off. We all have different ways. Mine is Lego.” [Culture Secretary (!), Jeremy Wright];
  • “I freely admit that when I started this job, I didn’t understand some of the deep-seated and deep-rooted issues that there are in Northern Ireland. I didn’t understand things like when elections are fought, for example, in Northern Ireland, people who are nationalists don’t vote for unionist parties and vice versa.” (!)[Karen Bradley, Northern Ireland Secretary].

There are hundreds of other examples from the last 8 years of total incompetence. Iain Dunce Duncan Smith alone contributed dozens, though his metier is more in complete executive incompetence mixed with graft and outright fraud. He may never have been promoted beyond Lieutenant in the Guards, but he did manage to learn the Guards officers’ knack of sounding authoritative despite complete ignorance and despite being as thick as two short planks.

One of the more honest (perhaps— some disagree) of recent Conservative Party MPs, Johnny Mercer, not long ago called the Theresa May government-of-fools “a shitshow”! Blunt Army language, but can anyone now disagree?…

Things are really coming to a head now with this sorry excuse for a government. Either Brexit is going to be in name only, or it will happen but under conditions of chaotic incompetence, thanks to this government’s inability to do its job.

It really does say something about the Theresa May government that until his self-interested resignation recently, the “great intellectual” in it was supposed to be Boris Johnson, who has not once been able to do competently any one of the jobs given to him by reason of his privileged background. This is a man whose idea of appearing intelligent and cultured is (or was, until people generally started to laugh openly at it) quoting bits of rote-learned Latin and Greek and dog-whistling classical-history soundbites. The amazing thing is that, until very recently, Johnson’s self-publicized image as “Prime Minister in Waiting” was actually taken seriously by the msm and so the masses. Indeed, few were willing to point out that Johnson was a walking self-parody, with his classical crammer-college allusions and his pathetic am-dram reprise of Winston Churchill, right down to the gruff comments and slight stoop. He even copied Churchill’s gait sometimes!

Well, thank God for small mercies: it now seems that even Boris Johnson himself has now accepted that he will never be Conservative Party leader and so will never be PM either. Only about 20 or 30 MPs would back him and so he would not be in the top two places. About 5th-ranked, probably.

Most MPs can scarcely be called mediocre, let alone competent. That applies equally to Labour, but this Government stands or falls on its own record. Labour has every chance of being largest party in the Commons quite soon, perhaps by some date in 2019.

The situation now seems to be that the Brexit-in-name-only scenario may not pass the Commons. The Democratic Unionists [DUP] will not accept Northern Ireland being treated differently from the rest of the UK, and if forced to that will simply oppose the Government (or abstain) on all other legislation. Collapse of Government not long after.

Alternatively, if a real no-deal Brexit happens, unprepared for and resulting, in the words of Johnny Mercer MP, in “a shitshow” economically, then a situation of both economic and social turmoil might be brought about within months.

Social nationalism can only prosper from now on.

Update, 20 June 2019

Well, on rereading this for the first time since writing it, and because I noticed that it had had a few hits recently, I have to admit that I underestimated the level of stupidity of the Conservative Party MPs and membership. The exceptional (crazy) Westminster politics of the hour have brought about a crazy result (probably): Boris Johnson now looks quite likely to become Conservative leader and so, by default, Prime Minister next month.

Update, 3 December 2023

In the words of Macmillan, “Events, dear boy”… Events and “Conservative” MPs conspired to get “Boris” Johnson elected (by Con Party members) as Con Party leader, and so Prime Minister. As we now know, he then won the 2019 General Election and, on resignation in 2022, was replaced by absurd and vacant “ho”, Liz Truss, who in turn was replaced after about 6-7 weeks by Indian money-juggler Rishi Sunak.

Despite having underestimated Johnson’s chances of becoming Prime Minister, I think that the original blog post stands up quite well.

As to the others mentioned in that original post, half-Jew bully Dominic Raab is standing down as MP in 2024, after being found guilty of bullying civil servants, and after 13-14 years as MP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominic_Raab.

Jeremy Wright was sacked (by Johnson) after only a year in post as Culture Secretary, but is still an MP and fairly likely to remain one unless the swing to Labour in 2024 is huge: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Wright.

Karen Bradley was dismissed from Cabinet in 2019 but remains an MP and, like Wright, has a notionally very safe seat.
