Reminiscent of the exploits of Michael Wittman after the Normandy Landings in 1944:
“Michael Wittmann (22 April 1914 – 8 August 1944) was a German Waffen-SS tank commander during the Second World War. He is known for his ambush of elements of the British 7th Armored Division during the Battle of Villers-Bocage on 13 June 1944. While in command of a Tiger I tank, Wittmann destroyed up to 14 tanks, 15 personnel carriers and two anti-tank guns within 15 minutes for the loss of his own tank…Wittmann became a cult figure after the war thanks to his accomplishments as a “panzer ace” (a highly decorated tank commander), part of the portrayal of the Waffen-SS in popular culture.”

Did you get that, Sunak, “Boris”-idiot, Woollyhead Trussbanger (Kwarteng), Ben Wallace, Tobias Ellwood, Jeremy Hunt etc? Britain is doing worse than Russia…
Meanwhile, the UK’s popular Press and TV outlets are replete with rich Jew know-alls such as Martin Lewis telling British people how to keep warm— by covering their windows with clingfilm and/or wearing heavy clothing indoors. Pathetic. Pathetic society, pathetic “Government”, pathetic “Opposition”.

When hundreds of people a week were dying with (not of) covid, we shut down society. Now there are up to 3000 mysterious excess deaths per WEEK and the government is acting like there's nothing to see here! Let's find out why this is happening – fast.
Without any apparent irony, the Tories claim they’re “seizing the opportunities of Brexit.” Literally nobody believes that. What they’re actually doing is systematically squandering the opportunities. People need to see and feel some benefit, not listen to empty boasts!
The System parties are already trying to introduce it into UK cities such as Oxford.
Every time Jack Monroe bootstrapcook wants to cleanse her timeline it's the same. "What's your fave Vienetta/hash brown/80s chocolate/song". So transparent. Pity she's not as transparent about dodgy fundraising & associated fraud eh?
“Germany and the US will send armoured fighting vehicles to Ukraine, the White House said, in a move that will deliver a big boost to Kyiv’s offensive capabilities.”
“Joe Biden and his German counterpart Olaf Scholz have agreed to send infantry fighting vehicles to help Ukraine fight Russia, a day after France said it would supply its own armoured vehicles to Kyiv in an attempt to create a breakthrough in the 10-month war.
The joint announcement followed a phone call between Biden and Scholz and amounts to a step change in western military support for Ukraine, which has asked for up to 700 armoured vehicles to help force the Russians out.
Ukraine has repeatedly said it needs 600 to 700 infantry fighting vehicles plus 300 tanks from from the west in order to give its military a chance of breaking through the increasingly fortified Russian positions along the frontline.
Until now, however, the US and Germany have been wary of supplying Ukraine with Nato-standard armour, because they feared it would be interpreted by Russia as escalatory. But the decision to supply western armoured vehicles is significant, even if both countries stopped short of sending tanks.“
[The Guardian].
At what point does Russia decide that it has no choice but to use massive force (nuclear or conventional) to raze Kiev and Kharkov to the ground, so that the area of Ukraine east of the Dnieper (about a third to half of Ukraine) can be later rebuilt, and occupied by Russian settlers?
That may sound almost impossible but is actually similar, arguably,to what happened centuries ago when the Cossacks were formed as a group, or connected groups, around the various rivers in southern Russia and Ukraine— Don Cossacks, Zaporozhye Cossacks, Volga Cossacks, Dnieper Cossacks etc.
Whatever the possibility of the above, there is no doubt that the supply of armoured vehicles, advanced missile systems, and tanks, to the Kiev regime constitutes considerable escalation.
In fact, one need not go back too far in history to find examples of Russian forces all but razing cities to the ground, then rebuilding them and filling them with the troops and civilians of loyal satraps: see Grozny in the 1990s— https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grozny#After_the_wars.
“Afterwards, the Russians slowly entered the empty city and on 6 February raised the Russian flag in the centre. Many buildings and even whole areas of the city were systematically destroyed. A month later, it was declared safe to allow the residents to return to their homes, although demolition continued for some time. In 2003 the United Nations called Grozny the most destroyed city on earth.”
I read, re. Ukraine in 2023, that Russia has huge numbers of troops not “in theatre”, i.e. not (yet) in Ukraine. That may be because those troops are not trained enough yet, it may be because there are logistical problems in supplying them. If Russia can train them and supply them by next Spring or early Summer, then a vast offensive might be possible, to take Kharkov and even Kiev itself, though if the latter it would be a bloody battle, akin to Stalingrad in 1942-43.
In the end, Russia needs to take Kiev, Kharkov and, if possible, Odessa, along with surrounding territory. If it can do that, then it can write off Western Ukraine and its cities (chief of which is Lvov). That would mean continuing conflict with a regime which would be based on Lvov, but there would be little the Zelensky regime or its successor could do, with almost all Ukrainian cities of any size in Russian hands.
At this point, Ukraine is not a functioning state.
Those “FBPE” tweeters are nearly always absolutely stupid, and often rather unpleasant as well.
The idea that “Jack Monroe” has “worked tirelessly” on behalf of anyone other than herself is ludicrous.
I agree. Criticism and asking genuine questions is not abuse. The same things being called trolling this last week has now been addressed by the publisher and Trussell Trust. The book doesn't help poor people, it just makes middle class people feel better.
Tweeter “@codfather” is the usual “Jack Monroe” partisan: wilfully blind, a certain age (reading between the lines), reasonably affluent (ditto) and certainly not “poor”. Also, vituperative.
In fact, and as I started to understand some time ago, many of the pro-“Bootstrap Cook” tweets are actually from…”Jack Monroe” herself, pretending to be other people. So-called “sock accounts”. Not all, and I think not “@codfather”, but many others.
Jack Monroe continually claims to be the *only* voice for people living in poverty. Her ego knows no bounds. I'm staggered that she's STILL claiming to have made a significant difference to the lives of people currently experiencing hardship. Where's the evidence? #ThriftyKitchen
The sheer delusion that many “Jack Monroe” partisans seem to live in has to be read to be believed; look, for example, at the tweet belkow, from (supposedly) a “professor emeritus at Bristol [University]”:
What the professor fails to see is that “Jack Monroe” has only one achievement (two if you include persuading large numbers of msm people that her whole story is true) — making a pretty good living for herself mainly by tweeting personal trivia, and recipes which look as dire as they are deficient in nutrient.
As for “measurement of food price inflation“, the ONS has made clear that their one meeting with her (at her request) had no effect on any of their work, and was not even noted or recorded. The “Vimes Boots Index”, supposedly being “worked on” by “Jack Monroe”, does not even exist, in reality. So what is left is the commonplace observation that the cost of basic foods has risen faster than that of luxury items.
Once again, a “Jack Monroe” supporter turns out to be a “woke”, and comfortably-off virtue-signaller, in this case an academic, or retired academic.
As I have blogged before, I have so far seen not one “Jack Monroe” supporter who is under 30, is “poor”, or who has ever been in circumstances of real financial difficulty.
Interestingly, also, I see not one “Jack Monroe” supporter who is black, brown, or Chinese. As someone who wants the UK and all Europe to be European, that in a sense is not a problem for me, but is still an interesting thing to note.
My take on that is that the ethnic minorities are too down to earth (and many also with too recent an experience of actual poverty) to take “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook” seriously. Also, many would not look twice at the kind of swill she seems to produce much of the time.
Honestly, this is one of the most shocking reversals of the truth I’ve seen in a while. Our government absolutely hates its own citizens. They despise us. And they use our taxpayers money to remind us of it in public spaces everyday. Shame on you @MinBZK. Shame on you, @MinPres.
Incredible!! As someone who cares about the planet. This is what I want to see. Not the #netzeroscam.. our environmental groups who cared about pollution and micro plastics have been hijacked by net zero fanatics pic.twitter.com/w8EoeLZW8j
The same is true in most areas. Politically too. Lenin was just one of a small number of marginalized exiles; Hitler was just an individual who was told to take a look at a tiny party, then joined it as member (possibly committee member) no.7.

BREAKING: the Ontario College of Psychologists @CPOntario has demanded that I submit myself to mandatory social-media communication retraining with their experts for, among other crimes, retweeting @PierrePoilievre and criticizing @JustinTrudeau and his political allies.
It is an incredible fact that (what is left of) the print newspapers in the UK are still churning out “editorials” or “leaders” which hardly anyone reads and by which even fewer are influenced.
Ha. Back in the early 1980s, I knew a lady, a civil servant, who rented her basement flat near Central London to an actor well-known then in Australia, but obscure in the UK— Bruce Barry. I got to know him slightly.
At some point, maybe in 1984, Bruce auditioned for the part of Crocodile Dundee in the eponymous film. He told my friend, his landlady, that he had been shortlisted. The only other contender was… Paul Hogan. And the rest is history, as they say.
Bruce had spoiled his chance by going to the final meeting with the film people, at the Ritz in London, beautifully dressed (according to the lady I knew) but then enjoying “a liquid lunch“…
Bruce was fussy about food, living off wholefoods, nuts, avocado, and I think the occasional Australian steak, but drank too much. Drink and women were his downfall.
Not a bad fellow, though rather neurotic, and rather intense, in my view. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Barry_(actor). Bruce had come to London at the age of ~46 to try to break into musicals. His divorce in Australia had left his wife (or one of them) and teenage sons in the family home, apparently a palatial house with grounds going down to the waters of Sydney Harbour, while Bruce himself was left with little.
In London, his first part was the male lead in The Biograph Girl [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Biograph_Girl], a musical about Lilian Gish [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lillian_Gish], which closed after (I now see from Wikipedia) 57 performances (I had thought, until today, after only a couple of weeks). Bruce had described it in hardnosed Australian fashion to my friend, the Civil Service lady, as “a bum show“, i.e. not much good.
I recall seeing Bruce on stage a couple of times, once at the Adelphi, in the Strand, where he was the second male lead in Marilyn! He played Andre de Dienes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_de_Dienes (though I cannot have been paying attention because until today I had thought he played Arthur Miller).
Bruce had very kindly given me two free tickets; I invited my mother, who lived in Surrey, and she enjoyed it. Musicals are not really my thing.
The other time I saw Bruce Barry in performance was at the Australian High Commission in London. I think that it was called An Evening with Bruce Barry, and was very good. I attended with the Civil Service lady, and met the real Australian Cultural Attache, who perhaps unsurprisingly was a very pleasant diplomatic fellow, and not a bit like “Sir Les Patterson” as portrayed by Barry Humphries [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sir_Les_Patterson].
Bruce had a girlfriend, a tall Australian dancer who had been a member of the Bluebell Girls ensemble in Paris. One day, Bruce returned to his flat to find her in flagrante with a third party. The end of the affair.
Bruce toured a bit around England with well-known stars such as Rula Lenska and Elaine Paige. I believe that that was in Evita. One star he disliked intensely, though, was Barbara Windsor. He was, apparently, not alone in that. Several disliked her tie-ups with gangsters etc.
In the end, Bruce Barry, having not quite broken through in the way he had hoped, returned to Australia, remarried, and had parts in quite a few TV shows, including The Flying Doctors [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flying_Doctors], where he played a landowner, I was told (I myself never saw it, though the series was shown in the UK).
The last I heard of Bruce Barry was that his second (or third) wife had divorced him, taken his home off him (as I heard it), and left him to drink and regrets.
Disgusting. And I'm talking about the craven masses who keep voting in parties and politicians who oversee such amoral cesspits formerly known as societies across the West

Jack Monroe threatened and crowdfunded to sue Lee Anderson because he claimed she makes a fortune from the poor. Her talent agency today showed £10-£15k fees she charges for appearances etc. Tell me how what Lee Anderson said was libellous. #GriftyKitchen#ThriftyKitchen
In any case, why would “Jack Monroe” even go to the Grenfell Tower fire? She was never in the fire brigade, except as a civilian office bod answering the telephone in Essex (about 50-60 miles from Grenfell Tower) for a year or so, and years before the Grenfell Tower blaze. If she did go to Grenfell Tower (which I doubt), it could only have been as a “rubbernecker”, and the police would certainly not have “waved her through the cordon” as she claimed. She’s a fake, a total fake.
I’ve been reading @AwfullyMolly’s blog and have had my eyes well and truly opened! I feel for those who donated to Jack’s Patreon and didn’t receive anything in return, and refund requests have largely been ignored. #shameful
Someone should make a series on con-men, con-women, “grifters” etc. Hour-long episodes, each covering two or three perpetrators, a bit like the very interesting In Suspicious Circumstances presented by Edward Woodward [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Suspicious_Circumstances]. A favourite series, presently being repeated on satellite TV.
To be fair to Monroe, she does say in the book she adapts other recipes. Other recipe writers also use a similar process. The issue in this case is apparently targeting the book at less well off people and charging them for something they can get for free. pic.twitter.com/4GuXe8yZU2
At a guess, I should say that copies of Thrifty Kitchen will soon be on sale in charity shops for about 20p. At least “the poor” will then be able to read the book, should they be so misguided.
Prince Harry should be ashamed of his sorry self for that book.
Somehow he managed to go from a Prince to a whiny bitch in two years.
Men, watch how you marry. That Meghan girl got him all the way messed up in the brain.
Prince Harry, who constantly complains about the press invading his privacy, releases a book giving details about how he shagged some woman behind a pub, his drug taking, physical fights with his brother, and what his penis looks like. 🥴
Ha ha. Just thinking again about the very idea that “the poor” need to be advised (very negligently) that, if they have a can without a ring-pull, and cannot find a can-opener, that they should use a hammer (or mallet?) and large knife! “Jack Monroe” obviously thinks that “the poor” are all completely brainless, and either cannot think of that on their own, or think of how to get an opener (less than £1 in some places).
She might as well “advise” people to invest in a Swiss Army Knife (mine has a can-opener which does work, though it’s hard work). The worst “investment” is to buy her book, in my opinion.
Bluebird has issued a statement regarding “potentially risky” hacks and tips included in Jack Monroe’s latest book Thrifty Kitchen, confirming that changes are being made post-publication.
Once the book appears for 10p (at a stretch, 20p) in charity shops, which will be soon, I shall probably buy a copy just to give myself a laugh or two before I chuck it away.
That's not what she is saying. Jack Monroe has not been poor for a decade, but sells books full of ridiculous 'thrifty' (not) hacks and recipes that don't save money!! She's not authentic.
Shes admitted a lot of that is lies, eg she withdrew the prostitute story and changed it by several years. It was a fantasy she wrote for Pink News. Even accused Kris if being a client. Vile. Also withdrew the autism diagnosis story. Absolute congenital liar.
No she's from a millionaire family, her dad didn't put her out on the game as she disgustingly insinuates, nor is Kris a deadbeat dad she often libelled him – resulting in a settlement requiring her to print a retraction, which she did with an article praising him.
…and, so far, despite 3-4 months of Twitterstorm and offline criticism, her Jewish lawyer, Mark Lewis, a resident of Israel, and with whose name (by implication) she used to threaten people who called her fraudulent, has not once emerged from his kennel.

People bashing Jack Monroe for writing about her lived experience, sharing tips for free online, writing some books, fundraising to send 1000s of copies to foodbanks, and earning a few quid (royalties rarely make a living) clearly haven't heard of Michelle Mone.
a. much of her “lived experience” written about has been fantasy or lies; b. her “tips” are mostly worthless, or actually dangerous to health, or are obvious (eg “buy the budget range at the supermarket“); c. her royalties total around £100,000 to date; d. the monies from “fundraising to send thousands of books to foodbanks” seem partly, perhaps largely, to have been diverted into her own pocket; e. then there was the “sue Lee Anderson” crowdfunder scam; and f. the continuing Patreon scam, bringing her maybe £6,000 each month.
In addition to the above, it seems that, last year, “Jack Monroe” did a number of events, and getting, it seems, up to £15,000 each time.
Not exactly “earning a few quid“…
In any case, should a small-time robber get off just because a big-time robber down the road has committed a bigger crime?
She admitted its all a pack of lies years ago by leaking this photo, and others, but then goes back to the lie. Classic Jack. pic.twitter.com/jwNH0qYaDE
Some types of bungalow do have a room upstairs, of course. #MoralHighGround.
She tried to distance herself by the above quote by saying she was manipulated by a journalist into saying it… and then an audio recording of her actually saying it during a speech in Parliament emerged. Lots of forgetfulness.
Yep! There's a literal recording of her saying it. She went quiet after initially going off an a woe is me rant about her young naiviety and cruel journalist manipulation.
Calorific content. I care because there are genuine poor people out there who deserve a voice that is being taken by someone pretending to be poor. I care because if someone is lying they should be called out on it regardless of what they are lying about. I care because…
She keeps being held up as an activist… but what has she actually, genuinely done? There are charities that do amazing work, that deserve the profile being given to JM. I care because, if you are poor and desperate, buying a cookbook is the last thing you’re going to do.
Fine on £20 a week. Which is false, because her recipes never come to £20 a week, that’s also a lie. I care because I have morals. I care because I’ve known people to struggle. I care because even the trussel trust keep distancing themselves from jack monroe ffs.
Truth: Jack Monroe's dad was not just a firefighter, but a senior manager: https://t.co/AJVs5FR7xs Previously, he was in the armed forces and served in the Falklands. As a veteran, he would/will receive a pension for this on top of his salary.
Just looking again at the Twitter profiles of those who are the angry supporters of “Jack Monroe”: “professor emeritus” (ie retired academic), “noise consultant“, “retired HR lady“, “small businessman“, “writer“, “writer and photographer“, “part of brilliant Marketing Team“, “Pagan…therapeutic counsellor“, “#ACAB #BLM, Rape/Cop apologists blocked, TERFs blocked“, “novelist“, “High Profile hard left twitterer“, “Mother of Mayhem, Psychology student, Not Jack Monroe, Maybe“, “I’m a doctor but not working clinically” [i.e. another “grifter”], “fandom old, makes various media“, “BSc Psychology. And so on.
Taken in a line. Just look at them. Not a steel worker, nurse, bus driver, train driver, cleaner, carpenter, plumber or the like among them. The “working class” seems to be absent.
Certainly not absent are the Guardian-readers, small business owners, suburban housewives (who prefer some other designation), well-paid freelancers, retired people (who used to be academics or working in reasonably-paid office jobs etc).
Also well-represented are various species of “Looney Tunes”.
Also absent is anyone likely to be “poor”.
As blogged previously, all her partisans are pseudo-socialists and/or “poverty tourists”, most if not all rather comfortably-off, many either retired or otherwise economically inactive (though not short of money); and quite a few with obvious mental health “issues” and/or problems with rational thinking. Also, various loony “trans” supporters.
Disturbing to see a Labour MP in there too, one Jim McMahon [Lab. and Co-op; Oldham West and Royton].
We are constantly fed an NWO/ZOG msm narrative about how “Ukraine” (the Kiev regime) is “defeating Russia”. Is it true?
What would “Ukraine defeating Russia” look like, ultimately? Presumably, in that scenario, all Russian forces would be forced to leave behind not only the pre-2022 borders of Ukraine but also the Crimea, the population of which is at least 85% Russian and only a few percent Ukrainian now (there are also Crimean Tatars and others).
So, in that scenario, Russia would have been driven back into its own unargued territory, and kept there by Ukrainian/Kiev-regime military might. Is there any logic at all to that?
Russia is, of course, famously the largest country in the world, over six and a half million square miles, so about 72 times the size of the whole of the UK, and 29 times the size of Ukraine (even including Crimea and the Donbass). A country which covers one-eighth of the landmass of the entire planet.
Russia has a population of over 144 million (147 million if Crimea is included); Ukraine had 41 million people (excluding Crimea) in 2021, before the Russian invasion or incursion, but about 20% of the population of Ukraine (I suspect the relatively affluent layer) has fled beyond Ukraine, so the real population, at present, is perhaps 30 million.
Russia has, therefore, almost five times the population of Ukraine.
Russia’s economy may not be booming, now that Western (NWO/ZOG) sanctions have hit hard, but it is still functioning. Russia is getting huge amounts from oil and gas (and mineral) sales, and has, of course, no problem with generating electricity. Russia’s domestic agriculture has actually been stimulated by the Western sanctions which prohibit import and export.
Compare that to Ukraine— it has very limited sources of fuel of all kinds, its electricity generating and distribution capacity is being smashed, possibly beyond easy repair, its industry is scarcely operational, and its agriculture is unable to export easily.
Even before the invasion/incursion of 2022, Wikipedia noted that “Ukraine is the poorest country in Europe by nominal GDP per capita.”
The only material advantage that Ukraine has is that the Kiev regime is in receipt of enormous amounts of Western aid: arms, ammunition, military transport, food, clothing, medical supplies, and money.
There is no suggestion that Ukrainian forces can either invade or destroy Russian territory or cities. There can, likewise, be no suggestion that Ukrainian forces will actually topple Putin or the existing Russian Government (unless obliquely— e.g. should a coup d’etat take place).
The most that the Ukrainian forces can do, the peak of their realistic ambition, would be to expel all Russian forces from the pre-2014 Ukrainian borders, and then dig in, in effect.
Russia’s war aims have never been openly or clearly expressed in a manner that makes any sense, but part of them would be the necessity to demilitarize Ukraine, something that is now impossible without Russian control over the bulk of the territory, including Kiev.
Under other circumstances, Russia might now be sitting on the entire eastern half of Ukraine (ie Ukraine east of the Dnieper), but “we are where we are”, in the tiresome phrase.
As I predicted would happen on the blog months ago, Russian forces have recently been trying to think outside the box by applying “oblique warfare”, targeting the electricity production and generating system deep inside Ukraine, using missiles and drones.
While the Kiev-regime forces have supposedly been downing most of the attacking missiles, the ones that are getting through have been smashing the electrical system of Ukraine to pieces. What next? Possibly the railway network.
Russia is said to be mobilizing more troops, possibly with the idea of a mass assault on Kiev next summer.
Unless a peace treaty or armistice can be agreed and executed, the war can only escalate. However, Russia can only “win” this ghastly mess of a war by taking Kiev and toppling the present Kiev regime.
Hard to see why anyone not very feeble-minded would send money to “Jack Monroe” after reading that Tattle Life exposé . Surprising, therefore, to see that no fewer than 647 utter mugs are still sending her £3.50-£44 monthly, a total of between £2,265 and £28,468, each and every month. “A nice little earner“, in the estuary argot, even if the actual total amount sent is nearer to —at a guess— maybe £6,000 or £7,000 a month rather than the maximum. Probably taxfree as well.
I have no idea whether the Essex Police, Metropolitan Police, trading standards officers, or fundraising regulators are “on the case” or not. If not, though, why not?
“The composer of Jerusalem has been effectively ‘cancelled’ by the Royal College of Music (RCM) because his views on race a century ago are unacceptably offensive to today’s woke students, The Mail on Sunday understands.“

Peter Hitchens’ column is worth publishing in full:
“What a twisted society we have become. We stir up wars in other people’s countries and praise ourselves for doing it.
But there is no political reward for protecting our own people against crime and disorder on their streets and in their homes. It is no longer clear if anyone is governing the country at all, so busy are we putting other nations to rights.
Burglaries go unprevented, uninvestigated and unpunished, in colossal numbers. Our capital city seethes with uncontrolled knife crime and stinks of marijuana.
Christmas brings news of terrible ultra-violent crimes in supposedly peaceful suburban areas. Migrants stride boldly ashore in unknown numbers. We pay heavy taxes for pitiful services, cratered roads and a health system that is the envy of nobody.
Yet, nothing happens about all this. The surest way to gain praise in politics is to make simple-minded statements about a crisis abroad and demand that we send bombs and shells to some strife-torn state, or actually bomb it ourselves.
The idea that such things are often complicated and dangerous, and may do harm, has faded from view. When Prime Minister Anthony Eden dragged us into his disastrous attack on Egypt in 1956, the entire country was bitterly divided. And rightly so. The archives, when they were opened, showed that the adventure was based on lies, futile and doomed.
When the USA sank up to its waist in the bloody mud of Vietnam in the 1960s, the whole world was at odds. Once again, now that the truth is revealed, we know that thousands of brave men died, and many more thousands of innocent civilians were killed, because of a mistake.
But since the Blair revolution of 1997, pious, allegedly virtuous foreign crusades have come back into fashion. Criticising them gets you into trouble. There is only one permitted view. Few go back to find out how things actually went.
The Kosovo episode, for instance, did not bring paradise to that part of the world. Nor did the Iraq invasion. I know most people now pretend to have been against it at the time but as one who actually was against it at the time, I can assure you that they are mistaken. It had wide support. The same goes for the daft adventures in Afghanistan and Libya.
In fact, the last three did so much harm that it will never be measured. Together they began the era of mass migration from the Middle East and Africa to Western Europe. This is probably the biggest event in human history since the First World War, and perhaps bigger.
How can we do all this stamping about in foreign countries when we are so bad at governing our own and also not very strong? Our country doesn’t work properly. You can’t even see a doctor. The police are equally invisible. Our Army is as tiny as our debts are huge. Our grandest new warship, the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales, has broken down. Even when it works, we have to borrow aircraft from the Americans to fly off it.
None of this will be properly discussed at the rapidly approaching General Election and nobody will stand in that poll who prefers reforming Britain to foreign policy fantasy abroad. Why do we put up with it?“
My rhetorical answer to Hitchens’ rhetorical question? This:
“The British/English people do not rebel against all of the above, not yet anyway, because they are bombarded with propaganda brainwashing 24/7, because few have either the independence of thought, or the (real) education, to stand against the tide, and because the “plebs” think that all that matters, or that the main matter of importance, is whether the “England” sports teams (which are now largely black or brown anyway) win some meaningless game, match, or tournament somewhere or other in the world.”
That, and because those in political life, those of great wealth, those in the mainstream media, who should all be protecting the people, are exactly those who, from malice, evil, or just sheer inability and lack of basic competence (as with “Boris”-idiot, Liz Truss, Woollyhead Trussbanger —Kwasi Kwarteng— etc), are encouraging migration-invasion of this country, are letting standards and services slide, and are preventing —by ever more repressive laws— even obviously justified criticism from being made. They are, in effect, signed up to the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.”
[the odd link immediately above now seems to be the only one for the interesting Western Spring article].
Incidentally, I see that the Daily Mail/Mail on Sunday is now, yet again, refusing to allow its readers to comment on Hitchens’ column, no doubt afraid that the readers will leave comments hostile to mass immigration, migration-invasion, “intervention” in foreign wars or countries, or even (could it be?) comments hostile to the Zelensky Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev…

From bison to pine martens to white storks, it's been a landmark year for species reintroductions in Britain. As we come to the end of 2022, it's amazing to know their footprints are amongst ours in the snow.

…and in England, most of the well-meaning (?) virtue-signallers who gave up parts of their homes to Ukrainians (often total ingrates) have found that they now cannot easily get rid of those nuisances (few of which are either genuine “refugees” or indeed poor).
Look at your baby, your child, your niece, your nephew. Think of your hopes and aspirations for them. This man was like them once. Let’s hope someone fights for your children as adults. https://t.co/tspSBsLfmz

@BootstrapCook Jack Monroe was dropped by her agent and moved back to her original agent… the one who she claimed robbed her of £55,000 in royalties. Probably a lie, like everything else. Though it puts into perspective her claims to earn pittance from her slopbooks.
1/3 I’d be glad to be corrected, but nearly a month after publication, my book on the destruction of grammar schools, ‘A Revolution Betrayed’ remains unreviewed by any unpopular daily or Sunday paper…
2/3 There is no rule that says all books must be reviewed. But ‘A Revolution Betrayed’ concerns an important much-discussed issue. Bloomsbury is a major publishing house. And I am@not totally obscure…
3/3 My main conclusion is that the normal well-informed reader should be aware that the reviewing, displaying etc of books is not a neutral, objective process. It is frightening to wonder how many good or important works must vanish without trace.
Liz Truss graduated from university in 1996. After that, she worked for Shell for not more than 4 years, until 2000. Her position was just a low-grade graduate-entry one, during which employment she also qualified as a management accountant; she left in 2000 to join Cable and Wireless, and was there for 4-5 years, but although she did eventually get appointed Economic Director, she was only at that level for a year or two at most.
Liz Truss was also Deputy Director of the Reform think-tank for a year or so (2008/2009).
After having won a House of Commons seat in 2010, Liz Truss was a backbench MP for 2 years, and gained minor preferment 2012-2014, joining Cabinet in 2016. She was, therefore, a Cabinet minister for 6 years until she became Prime Minister in 2022 for the notoriously and historically-short period of 44 disastrous days.
So from where does the £8.4M come? Surely not from her family, who though not poor were employed persons (father an academic, mother a schoolteacher); I have not heard tell of any considerable family money.
As for Truss’s long-suffering husband, he is a chartered accountant, so again, while not poor, scarcely living in great opulence amid heavy wealth.
Liz Truss cannot have begun to make more than a modest salary until about 2004, had 2-3 years out of employment (she has two children, and also took time out for reasons of political careerism etc) until 2008, and she ceased to be employed (prior to becoming an MP) in 2009 or early 2010. In other words, she probably only had ~4 years of relatively high earning.
A Cabinet minister and MP is paid a total of around £160,000 (plus expenses), but the £160K is taxed, and she was only earning that for 6 years.
The mystery or puzzle remains: if Liz Truss really does have assets of £8.4M (even if you include those of her husband) from where did the money come?
Most people would agree that Liz Truss was the worst Prime Minister that the UK has ever had and thank God that she has gone. ….how someone so unsuitable could have been selected for such an important job?https://t.co/zN3Q8Pt1BIpic.twitter.com/3kctxqM9Ug
Ha ha! Look at the “selection process” for MPs. They are often selected either because they know the right people and/or went to school with them, or worked with them previously in some way; or they are selected because they have paper “qualifications” which look good but in reality are not worth a hill of beans.
For example, “Oxford degree” (which these days is scarcely worth squat, and 94% of them are now either “Firsts” or “upper seconds”).
Many MPs (refer to, e.g., my “Deadhead MPs” series on the blog) also more or less invent a fake CV— fake or embellished academics, non-existent private business “successes” (e.g. companies that were set up, but which actually made no money), worthless business or other qualifications and/or “letters after the name”, such as meaningless “doctorates”, or a couple of years at the bottom level of the Bar, or even membership of bodies such as the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), etc.
All of the above, plus an air of confidence, easily impresses provincial selection committees.
Even those MPs exposed (later, after having been selected and then “elected”) usually manage to shrug off their dishonesty. Look at Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, an egregious example. Invented or hugely embellished his education (rock-bottom poor at secondary level, and then made up a fake degree from an Italian university he never actually attended; also turned a corporate in-house course lasting 2 weeks into a “management diploma”). Then his embellishment of a very underwhelming military career. And so on.
The fact is that Liz Truss is only one of very many MPs who are, in reality, mediocre or worse, and have been right from the start.
I certainly agree with that. This ghastly mess should never have happened as it has developed. The Russian High Command and GRU should have eliminated the Jew Zelensky —and his corrupt and dictatorial coterie— before (just before) launching an all-out and swift advance, including mass paratroop landings, on Kiev. One single and massive knockout blow for the sake of mercy, to save the civilian population from attack and misery, and to achieve the main objective before the NWO/ZOG support from USA etc could be mobilized.
The human cost (in Russia as well as in Ukraine) has been terrible: see tweet below
Saint-Just said that “no-one can rule guiltlessly“, but a leader must always be aware of the hurt even the most necessary actions entail. The human cost of war is terrible.

Talking of dereliction of duty, James, I haven't noticed you going out to bat for Jack Monroe while she has experienced a little local difficulty in recent months.
I seem to recall you proposing a regular 'Cost of Living Crisis' slot for her on your show.https://t.co/pLqFuU61G0
The case in which Mark Lewis acted for “Jack Monroe”, as her solicitor (I believe that he instructed both leading and junior Counsel who appeared in court as her advocates) was a not-very-difficult defamation action against social commentator Katie Hopkins: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monroe_v_Hopkins.
I am not sure that I believe that “Bootstrap Cook” now has a lawyer, as such, but we shall see. She threatened to sue MP Lee Anderson [Con, Ashfield], and Martin Daubney, “alt-right” (?) political commentator, but that was in mid-May this year, seven months ago. In theory, “Jack Monroe” has time, until early to mid-May 2023, in which to issue proceedings, but the courts may not take kindly to issuance which is only just in time, and so far no preliminary correspondence has been received (I read), so it is unlikely that any action will now take place.

The “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook” fall from grace continues to stir the Twitter teacup:
it was the fake @uklabour anticuts movement, Labour supported austerity so @owenjones84 et al needed someone to represent the single parents Labour were agreed on who would shout about the mean old tories and tell lies.
Fake indeed. I heard some inside track in 2010 (well before the election which brought into being the “Con Coalition”) about planned slashing of spending by the Labour Government.
it really was quite a shock to me when i read tattle and realised how bad it was. She has been funding a compulsive spending habit and presumably a coke habit using these poverty stories for quite some time.
I read that second hunger hurts blog and shouldnt have done, I think its the sheer dishonesty of it. 'Am filling out job applications on my phone, poverty hurts, am melting soap, switching off lights' she had a google gig, asda gig and a book coming out. Its just fraud.
for me it was the 'I'm using my phone to write out applications' because Ive actually been there with only a phone or laptop held together by a thread, it was so dishonest. I dont know why I reread it, but it really made me quite angry. It was last week I reread it I think.
Even in the world of Jack Monroe and her pathological lies & constant Elevenerife stories, this was gold. Tier 1 bullshit so ridiculous I started to think it was the "reveal" stage of a social experiment 🤣
For people such as tweeter “David Townsend” (“@DavidTo60389264”), creatures such as the Swedish Autistic, Meghan Mulatta, and “Jack Monroe” are somehow fighters for the Good. What can one say?
@AwfullyMolly absolutely on fire with the next phase of truth bombs about poverty cosplay scammer Jack Monroe bootstrapcook – shocking to think she kept the scam going for a decade! https://t.co/HFdAn5fRZr
As expected, the judge has ruled against Dad. In his view, sharing a 'conspiracy theory' such as the suggestion that the government is lying to you, means the ban from Europe is warranted.
Once again, watched a heat of the pre-Christmas alumni contest, this time the School of Oriental and African Studies [SOAS], London University, against Balliol College, Oxford.
As I expected, Balliol won easily but, to be frank, were no better than mediocre. As for SOAS, the oft-seen term “OMG!” is what comes to mind. One half-caste-looking youngish woman whose name I cannot now recall (she apparently specializes in “racism”…wouldn’t you know?…) actually thought that Mozart was still alive in 1976! There were several other absurdities almost as incredible from her and the other SOAS alumni. Almost unbelievable, even for a cynic (reluctant cynic) such as me.
How did I do? Better than both teams put together, to be immodestly frank.
In case readers missed my late comment yesterday re. the “missile hits Poland” report:
Either this incident was accidental, or the explosions are a false flag by the Zelensky regime, created to drag NATO into war with Russia. Either way, it was plainly not a deliberate attack on Poland, and thus should not trigger Article 5 of the NATO treaty.
In any case, now that states such as Poland, the Baltic states etc belong to NATO (which should never have happened), Article 5 should be abrogated. It is now nothing less than a dangerous trigger mechanism which may put all of Europe (and quite possible both the USA and Russia as well) to sword and flame.
This situation has been caused, at root, by the reckless NATO support for the Kiev regime. This is not our fight, and never has been.
Latest news:
“Reuters is reporting that a Nato source has informed the new agency that US president Joe Biden has informed the alliance that the missile that fell into Poland, killing two people, was a Ukrainian air defence missile.”
The Russian defence ministry is issuing a robust statement denying involvement in the explosion in Poland.
Reuters has snapped the following key lines:
Russia says it carried out a massive attack on military targets and energy infrastructure in Ukraine on Tuesday.
The strike achieved its goals.
High-precision strikes were carried out only on Ukrainian territory and no closer than 35km (22 miles) from the Ukrainian-Polish border.
Allegations of Russian missiles falling in the Polish village are a deliberate provocation to escalate the situation.
Photos of the wreckage found in Poland are identified as elements of the Ukrainian S-300“
[Guardian]
As I commented late yesterday, quite likely a “false flag” operation by the Kiev regime of the Jew Zelensky. The Kiev regime is desperate to get NATO directly into the war on the Kiev side, or to get Russia attacked by NATO.
It's really weird cuz we (in Poland) have air defence, radars etc and no information about that. But most people think that was Ukrainian missile where one photo shows piece of missile S-300 that is used by Russia and Ukraine. But Russia is too far away to hit with this in PL
And the Russians, Poles & Ukrainians were fighting each other with arms & money supplied by the British, French, Germans & Americans. Plus ça change…

Seriously misguided myth that Bootstrapcook Jack Monroe had anything to do with or any influence on ONS stats. She had one meeting and they didn’t even take notes it was so insignificant.
The @ONS has made it clear it was not ‘prompted’ (or otherwise) by Jack Monroe: ‘The strategy to transform our headline measures of inflation using scanner and other admin data sources is longstanding and has not been developed in response to recent stakeholder demand.’
Your bio says you bust myths and expose etc. Please have a look into Jack Monroes lies, stealing, scamming and misappropriation of charity funds. Or are you yet another “journalist” who won’t touch the story for fear of repercussions?
That Bernal idiot, who (incredibly) lectures in law in East Anglia, is also one of the unthinking “you can have free speech but not freedom from the consequences” brigade, which mantra would effectively designate Stalin’s Soviet Union or Mao’s China as places where free speech existed.
Very little, if anything, written by Bernal on Twitter can be taken seriously, in my opinion.
I have taken a lot of heat for calling out the US proxy war in Ukraine and for educating you about the real reasons for this conflict, from day 1. It was worth it because now you can see what’s really going on. Our biggest enemies are the propaganda media and corrupt politicians.
More Jewish fraud. When will people wake up? Having said that, look at infamous Lastminute.com. One of the “entrepreneurs” involved was not Jewish (Martha Lane Fox) and she made millions out of naive small investors. Jack Monroe only helps Jack Monroe. She's a scammer who publishes nutritionally deficient 'recipes' and guilts people into giving her £££. @AwfullyMolly is doing a great service exposing the lies & cutting off opportunities to find people off. Hope that helps 👍
As of today, 666 (ha ha) “patrons” (regular donors or, as I prefer, “mugs”) supplying “Jack Monroe” with up to £10 each and every month via the Patreon website. Up to £6,660 per month (minus any Patreon fees), and probably taxfree. In cash. Every month. Plus book royalties, appearance fees, off-the-cuff donations, other sources of income (eg Child Benefit, Child Tax Credit etc).
I have yet to see a tweet from even one genuinely “poor” person who thinks that Jack Monroe —“Bootstrap Cook”— has helped his or her existence. All tweets supporting her come from fairly affluent journalists, msm people, some lesbians and/or persons of the LBGTQXYZ brigade, fake “doctors” operating psychotherapy scams, retired people living in rural or semi-rural comfort, and/or readers of the Observer and Guardian. I suspect that some supportive tweets are in fact from “Bootstrap Cook” herself, using aliases, though I cannot prove as much.
Strange. I happened to see the chambers bio of someone who was at the “Bar school” (the Inns of Court School of Law) at the same time as me (1987-88), and in the same little practice group of about half a dozen or so people; all our surnames began with “M”.
I was told at the time (and in confidence) that this particular person was a great deal older than he looked, was (if memory serves) about 45, and had been a commended officer of the Flying Squad, who had arrested a shotgun-carrying robber in a bank branch. He looked to me somewhere between 28 and mid-thirties, no older.
I was told that said person (whose name it is unnecessary to mention) did not want it to be generally known that he had been in the police, because there was at the time rather a prejudice at the Bar against policemen becoming barristers. Perhaps. That is what I was told, anyway.
I noticed that the said student was good at listening rather than talking, for example when in a pub after our “practical exercises” (in those days, Bar students used the courtrooms of the Royal Courts of Justice after hours in order to playact being “Counsel”, supervised by a real barrister acting as “judge”).
The person in question blended in easily. I would never have thought that he had been in the police, had I not been told.
As mentioned, I was told that the said person was about 45 (I think that it was either 45 or 46). Now this was in 1987, maybe 1988. I see now that, after what I understand to have been a pretty successful career at the criminal Bar (though he has not taken silk), he is still practising and, as far as I can judge from his (presumably not too old) photograph, looks no more than 50, if that!
Various idle thoughts intrude: does he have a ghastly portrait of himself hidden away somewhere, as in The Picture of Dorian Gray? Has he found the fountain of youth, or the elixir of youth? If what I was told back in 1987-88 was true, he must be 80-81 years old!
I can only conclude that I may have been told a load of rubbish, yet even if one knocks off a decade from the age as related to me in 1987 or 1988, he must be ~70. Puzzling.
Incidentally, I do not think that I am breaking the confidence entrusted to me about 35 years ago. Apart from the time that has elapsed, I have kept the “secret” since 1988 and even now have not identified the barrister concerned. In any case, whatever the sensibilities of the Bar re. police becoming barristers may have been, 35 years ago, the pre-legal career of that individual must surely be taken to have been creditable, if anything.

Colleagues of mine in Kyiv described Putins barrage of missile attacks today as the largest ever against civilians since Putin launched his invasion. I wish this massive terrorist attack would get more attention in the Western press.
The missiles seem mainly to be targeting critical infrastructure such as electrical power plants. If this offensive is “terroristic”, then what were the massive American bombing and missile attacks on Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Serbia etc, not to mention, further back, Vietnam, North Korea, Germany etc?
The false dichotomy presented by the Western press was that you had to be either Pro-Putin or Pro-Zelensky.
I support neither.
At least Putin doesn’t pretend to be a good person.
Zelensky does, while robbing the American people and attempting to start WW3.
“People are being radicalised online into believing mad ideas like it’s wrong for your government to murder people on purpose to stop a cold spreading.”

Just imagine that. Millions of idiots, including politicians, journalists etc, were quite ready to endorse the incineration of Europe, North America, and much of Russia, all because a couple of stray Poles (unfortunate or unlucky, so be it) were killed by a missile that now turns out not to have been Russian at all, but from the Kiev regime.

More interesting to me than the content of the above (not uninteresting though it is) is the fact that Katie Hopkins has been allowed back onto Twitter.
I also am minded to return to Twitter, and with “blue tick”, mainly in order to promote my blog, but also in order to mock (simply by being back on Twitter) the Jew-Zionist pack that had me expelled in 2018; also, to irritate the self-promoting would-be “celebrities” etc who managed to get those blue ticks previously.

I would not go quite as far as that, in that I am unsure as to whether “Jack Monroe” had fraudulent intent right from the start. I concede, though, that her evident lack of interest in paying back monies taken (or even engaging with former donors) does give a rather poor impression, at the very least.
Heads should be authorised to call parents who aren’t feeding their kids into school and the government should provide a cheap weekly recipe menu to hand out to them. Jack Monroe @BootstrapCook I’m sure could design a good one.

I have come to the conclusion that “Jack Monroe”, aka “Bootstrap Cook”, is about 1% positive for society, and 99% negative…
The more I have learned about her, her behaviour, and her whole contrived sales pitch, the less I have been inclined to be favourable to her and it.
Many people really want to “believe”, though, and prefer to shut their eyes to the facts. As of today, and despite months of increasing online and even msm disquiet around the “Jack Monroe” “brand”, 665 mugs are still remitting to her up to £10 a month, every month, via the website Patreon.
I agree with her on those particular points (but not on many others), though I struggle to accept that a self-describing “journalist” seems to be only semi-literate.
I may be mistaken, but I think that I read some time ago that she was a student at Durham University. Literacy seems to be dying out in the UK, as witness the product of all the “Justins” and “Emilys” scribbling for the online Daily Mail and other news outlets.

Re. the behaviour of half-Jew Raab, people should also be asking the question as to whether Raab behaves like that because he is not up to the job. It is a frequently-seen phenomenon in people who want the status of a powerful job but who are not really up to doing it.
The rise of Dominic Raab is even more baffling than Gavin Williamson’s. Just as charmless, obnoxious and unpopular in the party and doesn’t even have Williamson’s mastery of the dark arts. Sunak didn’t need to promote him but did, because he’s weak and has no judgement. https://t.co/zVmXrJBjpo
Blackout in Rivne after Russian missile strike at electrical power infrastructure in the city, – mayor Oleksander Tretyak https://t.co/L8ZkTEOzor#Ukraine
As I predicted, Russia will now run an “oblique war” strategy, just as the Americans have done in the past in some parts of the world. In between the first Gulf War and the second, the actual invasion of Iraq, the Americans, via both sanctions and other measures, followed by missile attacks, did what one analyst called “breaking every bone in Iraq’s body without killing it“. That meant degrading and eventually destroying the electrical power infrastructure and, inter alia, the water and sewerage systems (the latter, in Baghdad and elsewhere, relied on electricity, not gravity).
Ukraine was already a “failed state”, more or less, before this war. Now it is a facade, propped up by Western aid, arms, ammunition and military training help. Economically, it is on its knees. Now, its electricity generation and distribution systems are also being reduced.
I would not write off Russia in this war.

News on the car radio this morning: there are now over 8 BILLION humans on Earth. In 1960, the figure was 3 billion. In other words, the world population is now not far from triple what it was only 62 years ago.
The detail is important, though. The rate of increase has slowed almost to a halt. Also, most of the population of the world is in a small number of countries: China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and a few others; and most of the increase in population is also in those and a few other countries.
The population of the USA has grown greatly in the past 60 years, but is now growing by only 0.1% annually. The same is true of many advanced countries. Some are not growing at all, others are growing only because of non-white immigration, but their core ethnic group is declining. Russia. Germany. UK. France.
I have previously mooted the idea that the number of human or humanoid souls rushing into incarnation (so as to experience the type of civilization we have presently while it still exists) has perhaps, arguably, come to a halt. That is, if you like, a “spiritual” explanation for the material effects noted in that newspaper report.
It is possible to lay the foundation, or the foundation of a foundation, for a later much higher level of evolution, a “super-race” if you like.
“You carry in your blood the holy inheritance of your fathers and forefathers. You do not know those who have vanished in endless ranks into the darkness of the past. But they all live in you and walk in your blood upon the earth that consumed them in battle and toil and in which their bodies have long decayed.
Your blood is therefore something holy. In it your parents gave you not only a body, but your nature. To deny your blood is to deny yourself. No one can change it. But each decides to grow the good that one has inherited and suppress the bad. Each is also given will and courage.
You do not have only the right, but also the duty to pass your blood on to your children, for you are a member of the chain of generations that reaches from the past into eternity, and this link of the chain that you represent must do its part so that the chain is never broken.
But if your blood has traits that will make your children unhappy and burdens to the state, then you have the heroic duty to be the last. The blood is the carrier of life. You carry in it the secret of creation itself. Your blood is holy, for in it God’s will lives.”

Just a few examples of how life in the multikulti UK is sliding towards chaos and evil. An amusing parody of the tweets of “Bootstrap Cook”, aka “Jack Monroe”.
As to the real Jack Monroe, she is waiting for the (as she calls it) “trash fire” of criticism about her alleged “grifting”, untruthful back-story and/or “frauds” to abate, so that she can carry on making a good living by putting up a facade of “helping the poor” while taking in money from donors, “patrons”, the msm, and her book royalties. The whole lot may add up to £100,000 a year, or more. In the absence of transparency, it is hard to know.
I am just now looking at the Patreon page of the “Bootstrap Cook”: 664 patrons paying out between £3.50 and £10 a month for what is alleged to be…nothing, or nothing much.

The way people, including people surviving on small State benefits, are subsidizing the lifestyle of “Jack Monroe”, reminds me of the way some deluded elderly people used to post £5 notes to the late Queen whenever she let slip some nonsensical statement in the Press about how she was “feeling the pinch” and so “having to economize”. Apparently, the donors would all be sent a nice letter as if from the Queen, thanking them for their gift. Shameless. Admittedly, I suppose that the late Queen could hardly refuse the money. Awkward.

The “oblique warfare” now being waged by Russia against Kiev-regime electricity generation will have a huge effect if it continues. The civilian population will be cold and unable to cook food, and manufacturing of equipment and arms will be halted.
Gas supplies from Russia were cut off when the war started. The next step may be to stop all electricity generation, eg by hitting the Dnieper dam and other hydro stations, and at the same time hitting road transport by hitting fuel-storage places.
The Kiev-regime army and air force will be unable to move far or fast once their fuel runs out.
I hear that the Kiev regime is also rapidly running out of ground-to-air missiles. If the supply runs out completely, there will probably be a Russian air offensive to cripple vital infrastructure further, as happened when the Americans attacked Iraq.
It is clear that the Russian Army is having problems with recruitment, training, and discipline, but the recruitment is going ahead, and presumably the other problems are being addressed.
It may be that, next summer, there will be a massive frontal assault on Kiev, with the aim of capturing the city, and driving the Jew Zelensky and his cohorts out of the city, to Lvov or overseas.

As regular readers will have noticed, my assessment of “Jack Monroe” published on 30 September 2022 noted that the fans of the “Bootstrap Cook” tend to be persons not at all badly-off, who (literally) support her for general socio-political reasons; in a word, middle-class virtue-signallers just like the tweeter there, one Freya Vass, an American now lecturing in dance at the University of Kent: see https://www.kent.ac.uk/arts/people/2144/vass-rhee-freya; https://uk.linkedin.com/in/freya-vass-62280029.
The “Bootstrap Cook” has hit a rich vein of gullibility from which to profit— people who imagine that they are doing their bit to improve the world by sending money to “Jack Monroe” to support the lifestyle of the same.
Here is another recent tweet reply by the same person, Freya Vass (who sounds pretty loony):
Thanks again for reminding me that the real @BootstrapCook has a Patreon account! Every time you mention it Ima go drop £5 in for her. You’re ace! I mean, an ass.
If accurate, it proves that my instinct about Liz Truss, i.e. that she was being banged by woolly-head Kwarteng, was correct (indeed, if the document is to be believed, by young researchers as well).
Even I, thought cynical as can be about the MPs in the corrupt Westminster monkeyhouse, am surprised at the actual extent of the degeneracy.

Strange. When I had to go to hospital unexpectedly from Cambridge County Court (about 15 years ago) with a minor problem, I was waiting between therapies, alone in a large area at around midday, when a porter came through with various lunch dishes for in-patients, and offered me anything I might want. I selected a fish and chips. No charge. Thanks very much. Still appreciated today.
Apropos of nothing much, when I first visited Qatar, in 2001 (before its explosive development), I returned to my pleasant hotel from a meeting, and felt hungry. Outside a room on my corridor, someone had left a room service plate outside a door, with an uneaten and unpeeled banana and orange on the plate. I took both fruits and enjoyed them in my room, but then thought “what if that was caught on camera? Might I get my hand chopped off for the sake of that bloody banana?” In fact, no (Islamic law is not quite as strict as that anyway, even in Saudi Arabia), but it gave me a few anxious minutes.
I’m A Celebrity
Watched the minute or so at the start of the show, to see whether Little Matt Hancock was featured. All the existing “celebrities” were shown in cameo. I only recognized two of them (Boy George and Mike Tindall). Maybe it’s an age thing, or a culture thing…

Even previously, the full story of our national suicide was not told, because the narrative spun only included mothers born in other countries, not grandmothers etc. The full extent of the “replacement” was never told.
Quite. It will be recalled that, last week, Hancock was in the front row at Downing Street, obsequiously clapping Indian “clever boy” and money-juggler Sunak, as the latter arrived. Sunak “blanked” Hancock, not looking at him, not shaking his hand and, most tellingly, not later offering Hancock a job.
Hancock has therefore turned to Plan B, having no doubt seen Michael Portillo become far more famous (arguably) and certainly better liked, as well as better paid, after Portillo gave up front-line politics to ride on trains around the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and beyond, giving out historical and socio-political snippets.
That restored Portillo’s reputation and public popularity. Few now even remember the unpleasant and bombastic minister and then Cabinet minister under Thatcher and Major; even fewer remember the 1990s sex scandal that revealed some of his various escapades (including affairs with both men and women, one of which was a Spanish male ballet dancer).
Portillo has become a popular TV presenter. Even I quite like his railway excursion shows.
As to Hancock, he has obviously accepted that his main political career is over. True, Nadine Dorries went on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and was later appointed to Cabinet, though only many years later, under Johnson (perhaps literally) and after having lost the Conservative whip for a while (under Cameron-Levita). I read today that Hancock has now also lost the whip, and so sits in the Commons as an Independent MP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Hancock#I’m_a_Celebrity…_Get_Me_Out_of_Here!.
If Hancock does not regain the Conservative whip before the next general election, then he is toast, politically. Perhaps Sunak will dispose of him that way.
Finally, I sincerely hope that the “staff” on SAS: Who Dares Wins give Hancock a thorough “beasting”. I have never watched that show, but I might make an exception to see Hancock suffering a bit.

How long will it be before a combined race/culture war breaks out in the UK and across Europe?
“Labour” is no better than the fake “Conservatives”, maybe worse in fact, but if the Con Party can be destroyed at the next general election, the Labour elected dictatorship that may follow may itself, by its extremism and possibly very large Commons majority, trigger a real pushback.

If there is any truth in the news, or rumour, that Elon Musk will reverse the millions (?) of “lifetime suspensions” of Twitter tweeters (one of which was me, after a pack of Zionist Jews conspired to have me expelled in 2018), I may decide to return to Twitter, but only to promote this blog.
In reality, the “aid” being given to “Ukraine” (to the Jew Zelensky’s Zionist and dictatorial regime in Kiev) is not aid to the Ukrainian people, and is given with the intent of pressuring and eventually collapsing Russia as an independent state.
The New World Order [NWO] cabals want Russia to return to a completely supine, powerless state, as it was in the 1990s under Yeltsin, a state in which Jewish and (other) foreign exploiters can profit hugely off the suffering of the Russian people. The same, mutatis mutandis, as happened in Germany in the 1920s.

A lot of bamboozled people think that Indians such as Priti Patel or Suella Braverman want to reduce migration-invasion and/or mass immigration. I see no evidence of it beyond empty words and empty gestures.
Anybody with half a brain, or the intellectual level of Liz Truss, could see beforehand what a disaster she would be as Prime Minister. Those disgusting puppet masters, and the old fart Tory members that allowed it to happen need sectioning!
The system of selecting candidates and getting them (supposedly) “elected” as MPs, then ministers, then Prime Minister, is at fault. Anyone with real ideas has little chance; anyone opposed to the Jew-Zionist supremacist agenda/conspiracy is quickly weeded out.
The result is that the Liz Truss’s, the Theresa Coffeys, the Kwasi Kwartengs, the James Cleverlys, the “Boris”-idiots, the Theresa Mays, the David Cameron-Levitas become MPs, ministers, even Prime Minister, despite obvious lack of ability.
Surprisingly, a tiny number of tweeters are still tweeting in the Liz Truss interest, even as the vultures circle overhead:
Liz Truss never even got a third . Only a pass in her degree .
I have been unable to verify the latter comment, but it is true that Wikipedia does not mention the class of degree obtained by Liz Truss, which I somehow think it would if she had obtained a First, or even a Second.
Not that the level of degree matters hugely anyway: plenty of idiots actually get “good” degrees, especially those who, like Liz Truss, were at university since the great dumbing-down and award-inflation (i.e. since the early 1990s). However, if it is true that Truss got only a Pass degree at a time when awards were already being inflated (she graduated in 1996), then that is certainly unimpressive.
As a matter of fact, Liz Truss did not have, as tweeter @habib_jenny” claims, “20 years of financial dealing” prior to becoming an MP (an accomplishment achieved at least partly on her back). She was employed in business for only 9 years, at least 5 of which she spent at a junior or very junior level.
What about her chances of surviving as Prime Minister? Almost zero, but the fact is that to remove her by force, i.e. to compel her to go, there would have to be a change in the rules pertaining to no-confidence votes in the 1922 Committee, then a period during which MPs can send in no-confidence letters, then a vote. In theory, I suppose that that could all be accomplished within a week, if they pushed it.
The talk now seems to be that MPs would want to change the 1922 Committee rules, cutting out of the election the party’s rank-and-file members (mostly elderly, mostly comfortably-off or affluent). The membership consists of about 172,000 persons. Liz Truss was elected by about 81,000 of those who voted (about 4/5ths of the members voted).
Cutting out the ordinary members would have several results, one of which would be that MPs could install whomsoever they like, without having to think about whether that candidate might be acceptable to the rank-and-file membership. So probably someone that the MPs like and who might be (thought) acceptable to UK voters as a whole, rather than to the narrow electorate of elderly and unrepresentative Con Party members.
I imagine that, if Jeremy Hunt were to become Con Party leader, he would present (rightly or wrongly) a less threatening face to the UK voters. On the other hand, it may be that the aim is to install a non-white, as I have blogged recently, in which case it might be Sunak. There might even be a false choice presented: Sunak and another non-white (surely not loony Ayn Rand devotee and Pakistani pro-Israel fanatic, Sajid Javid?).
Any new leader of the Con Party will be perceived as having no popular mandate whatever, just as Liz Truss has no mandate. However, will that new leader want to call a general election when public “voting intention” is running as low as 19% re. Conservatives? That might mean that the only Con Party MPs that survived would be in the most heavily or hard-core non-marginal seats. That might be as few as 100. Labour might take many seats in the North, with the LibDems taking many in the South, speaking broadly.
What if Liz Truss herself were to call a general election, either out of spite or to go out in a blaze of (?) glory, rather than be booted out by her own MPs as useless after only about 6 weeks? She might just do that.
More likely, she will resign, with the promise that she will be elevated to the House of Lords later.
The next leader of the Con Party, and thus Prime Minister, might decide that general election prospects now are so hopeless for the Con Party that the situation could get no worse even if a general election were to be held at the last minute, in November or December 2024. Indeed, a lot can happen in 2 years. The Con Party might still lose the election, but not so badly, arguably. It might be left with 200 MPs, instead of 100, or 50.
Who knows what might happen to put people off Labour-label in 2023 or 2024?
It is clear that Liz Truss is toast.
I blogged, not long after she became Con Party leader and Prime Minister, that I would be surprised if she made it to Christmas, and astonished if she were still Prime Minister by Easter 2023.
Give that man a cee-gar!…
[the letter from Liz Truss to woolly-head Kwarteng has his name at foot! She is just hopelessly inept on every level, and ignorant on every topic]
Many many prominent MPs are over-estimated, not just Liz Truss. “Boris”-idiot, to give one now-obvious example, has been critically tweeted and blogged about for years— by me.
A moot point, but it is clear that the electoral system entrenches the present basically binary choice between two parties whose underlying bases are not as far apart as many imagine.
To state the very obvious, there have been a few changes since 1982. Russia in 2022 is not the Soviet Union in 1982. As the Ukraine situation has surely proven, Russia now not only has not the expansionist Marxist-Leninist ideology of the Soviet Union in 1982 (however cynically-held), but also has an Army much weakened in most respects since then. Civilian, as well as military, discipline is now weak in Russia.
Actually, that cartoon sparked a few memories. In 1982, the Trans-Siberian to Europe pipeline, the subject of the cartoon, was being constructed.
In 1982, I happened to know a recent Soviet exile in London, the 40+-year-old dumped boyfriend of a (ghastly) friend of my then girlfriend, who got work doing technical translation for a company involved in the project. It improved his lifestyle. He was able to fill up the tank of his battered old West German car (somehow acquired during his stay in Munich), instead of putting in half a gallon at a time. He was able to buy delicacies such as cheese infused with port, and specialist Lapsang Souchong tea, instead of living for days on a year-old pack of “noodles” (pasta). He was even able to find a place to live (he suddenly disappeared from view).
Forty years ago. What can one say? The massive changes brought in by the change in the 33-year cycle (from 1989) have altered more than the East-West confrontation. Socialism collapsed from 1989, and the technical changes since then have also altered society in the West, especially: Internet, social media etc. Also, the then power of the Arab/Islamic world, based on the oil/gas market and OPEC, has greatly waned, for several reasons.
Now we are in the next most significant year. What will 2055 look like? I myself will never know (while on this Earth), having been born in yet another very significant year— 1956. In other words, in 2055 I would be 99 or 100 years old, were I to live that long (unlikely).

A global financial crash, which is now likely (and made likelier by Truss & Co.), would be worse than 2008. Private and public debt as a share of global GDP is now at record levels, approaching $300 trillion, far higher than then. Very little room to use QE to cushion crisis /8

Alarming, but also very exciting. This could be the moment, not far off, when real social nationalism, on a pan-European basis, could take off, but only if there is a movement at core ready and waiting for that right and historic moment.
The UK has no social-national movement, nor even any ideologically-sound and disciplined party or tendency, however small, capable of forming the vanguard of a mass movement.
My fear is that the social-national-revolutionary moment may arrive, only to find no, or no suitable, vehicle waiting to ride it to victory.

Very corrupt. I once heard —from a source thought reliable— that a very odd and unpleasant man (whom I actually met a few times in London in the late 1990s, an American, and who had and I think still has small offices in both Kiev and London), would pay Ukrainian girls of 16 to walk, naked except for stiletto-heeled shoes, on his back. The individual concerned was, at the time, in his forties, and had a daughter of similar age. He was very tied up with Ukrainian government people, and perhaps still is.
