The continuing storm around “Jack Monroe”, the “Bootstrap Cook”

Very hard-hitting tweets, but maybe required reading for some sadly misled people in public services, charities etc, who are still apparently unaware of the storm around “Jack Monroe”, the “Bootstrap Cook”, which gained strength in July/August 2022 and has scarcely abated.

I think that some people in executive positions at charities etc, mentally bought into the whole “Bootstrap Cook” thing many years ago, and do not want to see how it has now become a very tarnished “story”.

I myself attempted an assessment on 30 September 2022: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/.

Having now seen more material over the past two months, I think that that assessment was more than fair. Perhaps I was too lenient.

This is not a matter which concerns only “Jack Monroe” and the many people who are alleged to have been cheated by her. This is a matter of considerable public interest and concern.

People have to have reasonable confidence that, when they donate money to a cause, or transfer the same, in order —or partly in order— to receive goods and/or services, that they are not being lied to, bamboozled, treated as “mugs”, and cheated out of money.

One of those allegedly cheated by “Jack Monroe” is a lady (not known to me other than via her tweets) called (I believe) Heather Booth (“@frugally_minded” on Twitter), who says that she donated monies on the Patreon website to “Jack Monroe”, but received neither the goods promised nor the refund(s) later demanded.

That lady, who with her disabled husband is now in a terrible financial situation, has not only not been refunded by “Jack Monroe” but also has had to contend with online trolls since the behaviour of “Jack Monroe” has become known online. Whether “Jack Monroe” herself was involved in that, I have no idea.

Please find the details of the lady’s crowdfunder here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/heather-booth-3?utm_term=Gde7678Nq.

As to the overall “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook” situation, it seems to me that the responsible regulatory officers (eg for fundraising and/or trading standards) should investigate it. There may well be a need also for the police to investigate whether any offences around alleged fraud have been committed.

Please refer to previous comment, mutatis mutandis.

Conservative Party

Indicates, as much as any poll can, 18-24 months before a general election, that it may be that the Conservative Party will lose badly but not catastrophically.

It was only weeks ago that the Con Party was on 20%; now 30%. Labour Party has slipped back slightly, and LibDems have slightly improved, to 10%.

Of course, under a proportional representation system, that might give the LibDems 65 MPs, whereas of course, under FPTP voting, 10% gives between 0-20, maybe more MPs, depending on how many votes are concentrated wherever. UKIP got 12% of the vote in 2015 and only 1 MP (a previously-elected Con Party MP) instead of the 78 that might have been expected under a pure PR system.

Despite much noise from Farage, it is clear that, so far, Reform UK is not breaking through. That may be partly because Farage himself is a busted flush, having stabbed his own Brexit Party supporters and candidates in the back during the 2019 General Election. Also, in my view, because the new-ish “Reform UK” is playing the same sort of pseudo-“libertarian” and Brexit tune as did Brexit Party and UKIP before.

The national mood has moved. People want public services that work, not the right to try to become low-tax “entrepreneurs”. What most white British (especially English) people want, but unconsciously, is a form of social-nationalism suited to UK conditions. There is, however, no party even approximating to that.

Looking at that opinion poll, it may be that people are now seriously starting to assess Labour, which is aping most “Conservative” policies and, as someone once parodied Starmer, “we approve of workhouses but they must be run in a fairer way, and more efficiently.”

Rachel Reeves has, over the years, repeatedly said that she would be even harder on the unemployed, sick, and disabled than have been the Con Party governments. She is also a member of Labour Friends of Israel, like Starmer and all his Shadow Cabinet.

On immigration, Labour would allow in even more blacks and browns.

On free speech, Labour would be even more restrictive (hardly surprising, bearing in mind the powerfully poisonous influence of the Jewish lobby on Labour now).

All that, however, does not let Sunak and Con Party off the hook. Many previously Con voters are likely to see the present government as a shambolic mess, and therefore to abstain, or to vote LibDem. That may not result in many (or any) new LibDem MPs, but may have an effect in some Con constituencies.

Likewise, the Reform UK candidates are probably not going to become MPs but may well take votes away from Con Party in marginal constituencies.

It is clear to many that the Government is rubbish, but that the Opposition is also rubbish.

The Conservative Party has never scored as low as 30% in any general election. The closest was in 1997 (30.7%), which resulted in 165 Con MPs (in a slightly larger Commons— 659).

A few percentage points makes a big difference at this level. In 2001, the Con vote was 31.7%, and MPs elected numbered 166, just one more than in 1997, but in 2005 the 32.4% vote-share resulted in 198 Con MPs (in a 646-member House of Commons).

In 2010, David Cameron-Levita’s Con Party achieved only 36.1%, but had elected 306 MPs (out of 650).

The oddity of British elections is shown by the fact that, in 2017, Theresa May’s Con Party achieved 42.3%, yet only had elected 317 Con MPs (out of 650). The devil is very much in the detail.

In 2019, Boris Johnson’s Con Party received a 43.6% vote, not much more than in 2017, but the number of Con MPs jumped to 365.

All the same, once the percentage vote goes below about 35%, the number of MPs elected starts to plummet; below 30% would probably mean fewer than 150 Conservative Party MPs, below 25% a near wipeout.

At 30%, then, the Conservative Party is still just about in the game.

He has a point. Major utilities (water, electricity, gas etc) and railways should, in general, be under public control. Oil companies might be more difficult, but had Britain, from the 1970s onward, done what Norway did, and used North Sea oil and gas for national purposes, we would all be better off now.

Very true. I have blogged a few times about how uncertain life can be, especially for those without much back-up by way of family money or inherited capital: see, eg, https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/08/25/diary-blog-25-august-2022-with-a-few-thoughts-about-poverty-and-living-through-hard-times/.

Incidentally, I happened to see the crowdfunding page of a lady who, with her husband, seems to have fallen on desperately hard times: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/heather-booth-3?utm_term=Gde7678Nq.

Jack Monroe/”Bootstrap Cook” latest

As far as I myself am concerned, I blog as accurately as I can about people, if individuals are mentioned. My material is true in the sense of accurate, and/or is covered by one or another of the several defences to libel known to law; besides which, I am extremely impecunious these days, have only the smallest income, do not own a house (even mortgaged) and so am, in effect, as good as unsueable.

I can guarantee that anyone launching an action against me will lose out: probably the action would fail anyway, and even if it did not, the claimant would end up with massive and completely irrecoverable costs.

I write whatever I like, but take care to be both accurate and fair.

On Twitter, every Tom, Dick, and Harry is an “expert” on the law, and especially defamation law; few really are.

It’s pretty obvious that there is enough suspicion to validate a police fraud investigation, to discover whether any crimes have been committed.

The brainwashing taking place in UK schools (mainly but not entirely in State-run schools) is indeed appalling. It has been going on for several decades, but has been intensifying. At the same time, standards of real education and knowledge have been falling.

While some people compare the situation in the UK to the Weimar Republic, that unpleasant and decadent time in German history lasted for only 14 years (1919 to 1933), whereas the UK version has been happening for a far longer period, at least 30 years, and arguably over 50 years.

Not that I like Churchill’s effect on British history (in particular, the crazy war against the German Reich, which destroyed the British Empire and all other European empires, and created the mess the world is in today), but he is undeniably a major historical figure, and I should not like to see the statue in question removed.

Jews always talk about “members of their family“, or even “relatives” supposedly being killed during WW2. Even leaving aside the main assertion, since when are people who (supposedly) died about 80 years ago called “relatives” of quite young people now living?

As for the young or other people now living being (pretending to be) hugely upset by the (presumed) deaths of people whom they never knew anyway, it really is so much bs. Non-Jews, especially white European people, don’t usually (in fact hardly ever) do that.

I must investigate having my old Twitter account returned (complete with new blue tick), both to promote my blog and to mightily p*** off (((the usual suspects))), who put in years of effort making faked complaints to get me expelled in 2018.

Britain, now represented by a non-white Hobbit. One throwing our country’s money, arms and ammunition at the Jew Zelensky. Great…

Diary Blog, 18 November 2022, with something about Kate Andrews, the IEA, and BBC Question Time

Morning music

[Kehlsteinhaus, Obersalzberg]

On the blog 5 years ago

Twitter

There is news that a significant number of Twitter employees are refusing to engage with Elon Musk and his wish to return freedom of expression to the platform.

To my mind, such wilful refusal to go along with the changes Musk wants to implement in Twitter shows that an intransigent core of intolerant “woke” activists has taken root in the Twitter organization, and needs to be rooted out.

It may be necessary to sack many of the existing employees and to recruit new people who believe in free speech.

Kate Andrews, BBC Question Time, the IEA etc

Kate Andrews is, as an individual, of no political importance. As a drone/puppet of the transnational conspiracy, however, and once employed by the so-called “think-tanks” the IEA and the Adam Smith Institute (and now at the Spectator, as Economics Editor), she is of significance.

Kate Andrews has a degree in International Relations and Philosophy from St. Andrew’s University, Scotland. She was born in London in 1990, but sounds American (possibly holds dual nationality). She attended school in an affluent part of Connecticut bordering Long Island Sound: see https://uk.linkedin.com/in/kate-andrews-1673a945. She has no formal qualification in economics.

Kate Andrews is 32 years old. She is believed to be married, but nothing is known publicly about the identity, nationality, or activity of her husband.

The IEA was founded by one Fisher [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_Fisher], who also founded about 150 other organizations, including the Adam Smith Institute. An important international conspirator, pro-Zionist etc.

Fisher’s granddaughter Rachel Whetstone [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Whetstone], who has held major positions at Facebook, Google, Netflix, and Uber, is married to the egregious Steve Hilton [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Hilton], the “blue sky thinker” (and waste of space) connected to the rotten misgovernment of David Cameron-Levita 2010-2015.

Rachel Whetstone herself once worked at Conservative Central Office. She was also, at one time, having an affair with Cameron-Levita’s stepfather-in-law, Viscount Astor: see https://www.dailymail.co.uk/columnists/article-314340/Love-Tory-Conservatives-golden-girl-married-man.html. A fact now expunged from Wikipedia.

See also: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/08/10/les-eminences-grises-of-dystopia/.

The “takeaway”? These people, these organizations, are all connected, and feed into the transnational conspiracy matrix.

We are in the first year of the present 33-year socio-political cycle. Socialism, as traditionally experienced, was largely killed off, in its various forms, in and after 1989, the last such significant year.

There is now a push by the transnational conspiracy or “consensus” to increase yet further the degree and scope of globalization, and also the destruction of white Europe (and indeed all white European race, culture, and civilization, worldwide). The Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan is just part of that [https://vk.com/@judi1964-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-stealth-genocide-against-the-peoples; and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan].

Another aspect is dystopian finance-capitalism. “The price of everything and the value of nothing“. It must be opposed, by any expedient means.

As for BBC Question Time, I myself have not sat down and watched that biased and outdated latter-day version of “Brains Trust” for many years.

…but, whether Twitter exists or not, there will still be (as of today) 666 mugs paying “Jack Monroe” up to £10 each, monthly, via the Patreon website…

Elon Musk is up against several connected pressure groups or tendencies, not least the Jew-Zionist lobby that wants Twitter to be open for any Jewish trolls to abuse, usually anonymously, but also wants Twitter to ban or expel anyone said Jew-Zionist lobby labels as “antisemitic“.

To be frank, and without —I hope— being too grandiose about it, if Twitter is not open to someone like me, then it is all but worthless anyway.

…and for British people, a tent in a field, if you have a tent and a field…

Eventually, we shall have to [REDACTED]…

Please refer to previous comment…

Many people have yet to understand that the UK is governed or misgoverned by The System, which has several faces for the masses to “support”, the two main ones being the Conservative Party and the Labour Party, neither of which does “what it says on the tin“…

One well-placed round should do it…

I wonder whether that socio-political propaganda will backfire on the System’s msm drones. After all, for the ideas expressed to be featured at all must mean that those ideas are slowly influencing the mainstream public mind.

Keep on truckin’!

…or Robert Carrier (?): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Carrier_(chef);

The tactics employed now by “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook” are interesting. She has turned a blind eye to the (actually rather weak) Daily Mail report [https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11403551/Row-anti-poverty-campaigner-Jack-Monroe-detractors-flares-up.html] which was only published yesterday. Not a word from her about it.

Instead, the “Bootstrap Cook” has ploughed on as if the report had never been printed. Apart from the odd reference in tweets to her “trolls” (meaning those raising legitimate concerns about her alleged “grifting”, “scamming” etc), she has also ignored the Twitterstorm which has now been raging for about 3 months.

Now, Bootstrap Cook tweets about anything but the criticism and reportage. About her apparent upcoming move. About how she has had to sell items (have we not been here before?) and (needless to add) about how expensive moving is (is that a hint that a few more donations would be welcome?).

I should have thought that, whatever the circumstances, someone whose Patreon income alone may run into figures above £6,000 a month in cash would have little difficulty in covering all the costs.

Late tweets

90% of the food I have seen (in photos) produced by the “Bootstrap Cook” has looked like a dog’s dinner (or worse). Some of the photos make me feel quite sick, if truth be known.

I have raised on the blog the question of where Russian prisoners of the Kiev regime are being kept, and under what conditions. The mainstream media in the West seem completely uninterested in this human rights issue. I have seen not one reporter on TV or journalist in print, or online, address the point, and there have been no TV news reports from any camps where the prisoners might be incarcerated.

Now it seems that Kiev-regime forces are, at least sometimes, taking no prisoners, or taking them then immediately despatching them. This is generally accepted to be a war crime.

Derbyshire Police— useless again

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/woman-uses-iphone-hack-track-28419140

It will be recalled by regular readers of the blog that Derbyshire Police performed most ignominiously during the 2020-2021 “panicdemic”, bullying and harassing fell walkers and picnickers. The same force had previously behaved atrociously towards Alison Chabloz (who was at the time resident in the Peak District).

Seems that Derbyshire Police find dealing with real crime rather harder.

£750 compensation and a suspended sentence for attacking the victim from behind, with a hammer, and in a sustained attack which ended only when an uninvolved third party happened upon the scene.

Evidently premeditated as well, in my view, though admittedly there is a bit of wriggle-room there, on the facts as reported.

Why was this not charged at a higher level? Surely, on the reported facts, there was a case of attempted GBH to be made out, or even attempted murder? See https://www.sentencingcouncil.org.uk/outlines/assault/; and https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/offences-against-person-incorporating-charging-standard.

In terms of a strict logical syllogism, the above is perhaps a flawed conclusion, but I suspect at least arguable in real terms.

Civil war in the USA?

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/nov/06/how-close-is-the-us-to-civil-war-barbara-f-walter-stephen-march-christopher-parker

No civil war ever has a single cause. It’s always a multitude of factors that lead to decline and collapse. The current US has several of what the CIA calls “threat multipliers”: environmental crises continue to batter the country, economic inequality is at its highest level since the founding of the country, and demographic change means that the US will be a minority white country within just over two decades. All of these factors tend to contribute to civil unrest wherever they are found in the world.”

Kherson

I find myself wondering why Putin has ordered a full evacuation from the occupied city of Kherson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kherson].

According to Wikipedia, about half of the pre-conflict (i.e. pre-February 2022) population had already fled by the end of May 2022. It is not known either how many have fled in the past 6 months or how many now remain in the city.

It is clear that this battle will be of great importance. I find myself wondering whether Putin intends to use tactical (“battlefield”) nuclear weapons to almost destroy the city if it looks like falling to the forces of the Kiev regime. Those Western “experts” who have pronounced say “no” to that idea; Putin’s people also say no. So maybe “no” is the answer. I do feel a little uneasy about the possibility, though.

Putin has recently referenced, I believe more than once, the American slaughter of very many of the inhabitants of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (perhaps 230,000) in 1945, in the atomic-bomb attacks that pretty much levelled both cities. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_bombings_of_Hiroshima_and_Nagasaki.

Does Putin really mean to destroy Kherson if necessary? We do not know.

[view of Kherson]

If Putin’s intent is to destroy one city so as to say to the Kiev regime “I have just destroyed Kherson. Surrender, or Kiev will be next” (in similar fashion as the Americans did in Japan in 1945), that would be a complete gamechanger, and might even bring in NATO on the “Ukrainian” (Kiev regime) side. In that event, the next world war might be, and probably would be, triggered.

What is inescapable is that the high-grade armament given by the USA, UK etc to the forces of the Kiev regime is having a very great effect on the battlefield. Russian forces are very definitely now on the defensive.

Russia is now, after some hesitation, targeting the electrical power and other infrastructure that keeps the Kiev “failed state” going. I expect that to both continue and intensify.

What a horrible bloody mess (as blogged previously). If only the Russian Army, its General Staff, and the GRU had been fit for purpose at the start, the invasion would probably have ended within days and with complete success, particularly had the Jew Zelensky and his cabal been eliminated by what used to be known in Soviet days as “Olympic Spetsnaz” (which may not even exist now— I do not know).

Now, huge numbers of Ukrainian civilians and their companion animals are suffering and many are dying, together with many Russians, partly because the Russians have made such a shambolic mess of all this, and partly because the West is keeping the war going by vast transfers of arms, ammunition, training, medical and other equipment, and sheer money to the Zelensky regime.

If life gives you lemons…

I happened to see something about the “Rogue Trader”, Nick Leeson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Leeson], who caused a big kefuffle in the mid-1990s, when caught out making unauthorized trades nominally on behalf of Baring’s Bank (which collapsed with massive debts because of him).

Turns out that, after serving over 4 years in Changi Prison, Singapore (2/3 of a nearly-7 year sentence), and having (earlier) written the bestselling Rogue Trader [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_Trader_(book)], he became commercial manager (I had thought, accountant) for an Irish football team, Galway United; then he became CEO of the same club until, some years later, having to resign by reason of the club’s financial difficulties.

I recall having read his book when it came out in 1995 or 1996.

Now, however, like a reformed bank robber advising banks on security, Leeson apparently speaks for fees at seminars, and also after-dinner. Such bookings can be very lucrative (ex-Prime Ministers etc get paid tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands). Leeson is obviously not going to be in that league, and I am unaware of what he does charge, but it might be a few thousand pounds a time, a couple of times a month. Nice work if you can get it.

[Leeson as a young trader]
[Leeson in his fifties, speaking for a fee]

After a brief year or so of being a successful stock market trader in the early 1990s, Leeson was stunningly unsuccessful, famously so, and his later time at the Irish football club was hardly crowned with success, but his 1990s notoriety now provides him with a living, perhaps a good one.

Funny how life works out.

Jewish news

A reader of the blog sent me this:

https://www.thejc.com/news/politics/rishi-reshuffle-the-jewish-movers-and-shakers-in-sunak’s-new-government-44gKgDb3wf5iU7mFlE8r98

The (Jewish) journalist even refers to Jews as “the tribe“.

It occurs to me that the most repulsive MP in that report is not in fact a Jew (though married to a Jewish woman, and with children being brought up as Jewish). No, not Keir Starmer but Robert Jenrick. A complete doormat for Israel and the Jewish lobby.

Indeed. People wanted the migration-invasion “sorted”, as is now said, and they have had enough of big-talking on immigration from “Conservative” ministers, which big talk has led to no or no useful action. Priti Patel the least useful big talker/no action (so far).

Williamson’s job is to shut up, not cause waves, and in return get paid as a Cabinet minister. He has failed even in that.

According to Electoral Calculus, with Reform Party getting maybe 5%, that would result in Labour 471 seats, Conservative 91, LibDem 13, Green 1, SNP 52. https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html.

(with “tactical voting” ticked, Con = 30 seats on the same numbers).

If Reform only get 2%, much the same result, but even were Reform (Farage’s latest vehicle) to get 10%, all that would happen would be Reform getting 1 MP, Con 100, Lab 460, LibDem 14. The FPTP voting system is hard to shift.

Indeed, even were Reform to get 15% (higher than UKIP’s result in 2015), Reform would still only get 1 MP! The big change there, though, would be a further Con collapse, to 37 MPs (Lab 521, LibDems 16).

Even on 20%, Reform would get nowhere.

To really arrive, Reform would have to get to about 25% and take votes from Lab as well as Con. As people now say, “a big ask“.

Personally, I do not believe that the Reform Party agenda of “libertarianism” mixed with some less American elements (support for NHS, opposition to more mass immigration etc) will pull in the punters.

There again, Farage stabbed his own Brexit Party supporters in the back in 2019, and (in lay terms) stole the candidates’ money as well! Who would trust him now?

A more social-national party might succeed, if credible: nationalization of strategic utilities, support for private enterprise otherwise, with taxation of large enterprises greatly increased, and support for a thoroughly reformed —but still free at point of use— health service; law and order, support for proper defence; opposition to the Zelensky regime but humanitarian aid to families and animals in Ukraine, and much closer links to Russia.

Hard to know what to believe.

Probably not all of it. Possibly none of it. Possibly some of it. I await more information.

One aspect that interests me is that, as others have noticed, hardly any tweeters supporting the “Bootstrap Cook” are actually anywhere near “poor”. Many are decidedly affluent, as can be surmised from their Twitter headlines: CEO this, Director that, author, journalist, food writer on a large newspaper, and so on.

There is, as I blogged about a few months ago, a kind of unhealthy, virtue-signalling, nonsense feel about it all. See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/.

Migration-invasion

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11348571/More-500-migrants-crossed-Channel-10-dinghies-yesterday-despite-thunderstorms.html.

500 even in the weather conditions of yesterday. By the end of the year, 40,000+ (possibly 50,000+) will have invaded the UK during 2022 alone.

Add to that the several hundreds of thousands coming in “legally”.

There is a connection between Britain having a non-white Prime Minister, and the cross-Channel invasion— the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan: see https://vk.com/@judi1964-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-stealth-genocide-against-the-peoples; and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan.

That cartoon is out of date; the “Conservatives” are quite as bad as Labour now.

More tweets seen

Exactly so. The stupid, unnecessary and dictatorial “measures” taken during the “panicdemic” were what really shoved the UK into the economic mire.

Arise, social-nationalism.

System parties, trying to fool the people into believing that they are very different from each other.

I have blogged about some of that previously. Some fields of academia, eg sociology, linguistics, English language etc, are now replete with not only specialized language (as with mathematics, or physics, inter alia) but also empty jargon. Jews are not the only ones swimming in the polluted waters, but they are very prominent.

Sunak’s 1930s politics/economics, together with Labour’s unexciting similar policies, may open the door to a real alternative— social nationalism (once people wake up, if they wake up).

I agree with every one of those selections.

Absolutely disgusting. Those guilty of making the wrong decisions (eg Little Matt Hancock) were applauded at the time. The whole mess was also supported, overall, by Starmer-Labour, incidentally.

People working in those situations must now be better paid, and conditions improved.

Cleverly kept on. God. Why? Another embarrassment for our country.

As for Simon Hart, he is an expenses-blodger who employs his wife on expenses, and takes a very large number of free First Class rail journeys: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Hart.

Good to see some thick dorks getting the sack though: barrow-boy barrister Brandon Lewis, thick Welsh barrister Robert Buckland, Wendy Morton (how did she ever become an MP?), Chloe Smith (ditto), absurd Kit Malthouse, Rees-Mogg.

Ben Wallace to stay at Defence. I suppose that means that vastly more sums of money (and arms) will be wasted on Zelensky’s Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev, while British people starve in their unheated homes (if indeed they have a home).

The Jew Shapps removed as Home Secretary (that must have been another record (5-6 days?), but still in Cabinet as Business Secretary. I thought that Sunak wanted to project an image of probity?

I presume (no news yet) that horrible creature Therese Coffey will also get sacked.

[caricature of Therese Coffey]

I think he is being serious and not sarcastic, incredibly.

He did not add “Raab, Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Secretary—half-Jew“, of course. The msm do not want the British people to wake up to that (((aspect))).

Even so, what a disgrace— Jews, Indians, Kurds, blacks. Where are the English?

A few tokens here and there, such as Jeremy Hunt (even he has a Chinese wife).

Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan. Again.

Ah, so there it is but, in an odd move, Sunak has moved her within Cabinet to Secretary of State for the Environment.

That Therese Coffey is even an MP speaks volumes about how broken our political system now is.

As for the Indian money-juggler, if he is not careful, he may end his time as Prime Minister by being carried out of town on a rail, tarred and feathered.

Only the first step. Later, Little Matt Hancock, the Communist bitch on “SAGE”, “Professor Lockdown” (Ferguson) and many many others have to be —eventually— put on trial and/or otherwise punished.

If only there were a real social-national party in the UK…

Late tweets seen

Quite. You still see people (who seem to think themselves terribly clever) tweeting “freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences“, whereas, as “@RealBlackIrish” points out there, that is exactly what it means. The “freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences” formula would mean, in effect, that Stalin’s Russia, Mao’s China and present-day North Korea all had free speech.

There was (maybe still is) a mediocre law lecturer from East Anglia, one Paul Bernal (descended from the well-known part-Jew 20thC scientist, J.D. Bernal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._D._Bernal), who used to regularly and unthinkingly tweet that formula.

So much for the “alt-right” “conservative nationalists”. To hell with them. They sell the future of England, of Europe, of the world down the river.

Video link justice

When I was a practising barrister (1993-2008, though with extended breaks when I was overseas or engaged elsewhere), conducting hearings by video link had either not yet started, or was in its infancy; certainly I never encountered it, though I did some telephone hearings in latter years, usually from home. They involved civil/commercial interlocutory and/or procedural matters. Awkward when the cats miaowed loudly.

I should add that, after the early/mid 1990s, I did almost no criminal cases, except the odd corporate matter, representing large companies accused of breaching the law in various —mostly rather minor— ways.

Now, however, video link hearings in criminal cases are commonplace, especially in respect of sentencing hearings. It saves money, and inconvenience. But…

I think that sentencings especially (but also any examination or cross-examination of witnesses, including the accused) should always be carried out face-to-face in open court. The judge can see, a relatively few feet away, the demeanour of the person talking, in a way that is just not the same via video link, however good the technology.

Can it really be right that a defendant be sentenced, often to a term of years, while in a prison and at the end of a video link? I think not.

I am probably rowing against the tide here, but I thought that someone should make these points, even someone who is no longer (thanks to the Jew element) at the Bar: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.

I think that the secret ruling circles want Sunak, in part because he is a non-white. The Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan. The message being “Britain is now a multikulti country; even the Prime Minister is non-white“…

Ireland has gone the same way. Until recently, the PM there was a half-Indian called Varadkar (he is now Deputy PM). I noticed that, in the recent explosion in Donegal, in a tiny village far from anywhere, two of the deceased were Africans. Shows how much migration-invasion there has been in Ireland in recent years (and pitiful “nationalist” Sinn Fein bends the knee to it all).

The same is happening all over Europe.

The Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.

https://vk.com/@judi1964-coudenhove-kalergi-plan-stealth-genocide-against-the-peoples; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi.

Conservative Party electoral support

To state the fairly obvious, Labour is not popular; the Conservative Party is unpopular. Labour’s seeming popularity is purely by default.

The Conservative Party has been dumped by the voters because it has just got to a point at which its incompetence and absurdity just outweighs the doubts many have about Starmer, his Friends of Israel Shadow Cabinet, and Labour as a whole.

“Boris”-idiot came close to this point but did not quite reach it. Whether it was his contrived Eton-Oxford gloss, the slightly-easier economic circumstances, or whatever, he was just about holding the electoral line. Once he was chucked out, and especially once it became clear that Britain was heading for a train crash, the electorate woke up to the cold air, looked at Liz Truss and woolly-head Kwarteng, Therese Coffey etc, and was appalled.

A vote for Labour is a vote for more mass immigration, for Jew-Zionist control, for blatant pro-Israelism at the top of government, and for cuts imposed on pensions, State benefits etc. Despite that, Labour is riding high because the people are becoming desperate for anything that looks, however implausibly, like a government, rather than a bunch of headless chickens.

In any case, mass immigration and migration-invasion has continued under the “Conservative” governments since 2010. All that has happened has been a torrent of empty words by such as the Indians (could you make this up?) Priti Patel and Suella Braverman.

The Conservative Party has been held up until very recently by two factors: Brexit (despite that having been totally mishandled), and the fact that pensioners and near-pensioners (broadly, the 60+ age group) voted Conservative, overwhelmingly.

Rishi Sunak suspended the Triple Lock, “for a year” supposedly. That alone diminished the support for the Conservative Party. Labour climbed above Conservative in the opinion polls for the first time in years. Sunak failed to become Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister because the “grey vote” within the Conservative Party defected to Liz Truss, who promised almost everyone almost everything.

Now we see that even the “grey vote” is abandoning the Conservative Party, as I have been recently predicting. If your only real reasons to vote “Conservative”, as a 60+-aged voter, are a. the value of State pensions and benefits (including Pension Guarantee Credit); b. to stop or restrict mass immigration; and c. law and order, then the Conservative Party has let you down royally on all three.

This would be the moment for a social-national party to strike, if there were one. The absence of one is both infuriating (for me) and tragic (for the British people and their future).

More tweets seen

Wallace can now ride his horse, sabre aloft, towards Moscow. Pathetic.

Starmer-Labour is just a possibly-more-competent version of what used to be the Conservative Party, in some ways, before the latter became the home of Oxford and Durham university dropouts, and ceased to be able even to pretend to be a serious party of government.

Naturally, the old-style Labourites are jumping ship; the rank and file at least have been doing so for about three years, since the Labour Friends of Israel regained control.

The problem I have with Corbyn, Pidcock etc (well, one problem) is their mealy-mouthed attitude to the Jew-Zionist lobby that has stamped on them. As people say now, “call it out” for what it is; but they will not. They still pay lip-service to the “holocaust” farrago, and support the basically Jewish organizations that have beaten them, such as the “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, “Hope not Hate”, “United Against Fascism”, “Community Security Trust” etc.

How about “honestly questioning” Ben Wallace’s ability to be Defence Secretary on a different basis, i.e. that making the UK the bullseye of a Russian nuclear attack on NATO is a Very Bad Idea? Wallace, a former junior officer in the Guards, is just the sort of nincompoop who might, perhaps when in drink, precipitate a war with a power which has about 100 times our nuclear offensive capability.

Maybe. On the other hand, would the British electorate, at a general election, vote in large numbers for the Indian one-time-thought “clever boy” Rishi Sunak (and the rest of the Conservative Party MPs)? I doubt it.

Most people apparently still do not realize that the number one reason why the British economy has crumbled and is crumbling is because the stupid “panicdemic” measures of 2021-2022 included almost shutting down that economy for nearly 2 years, accompanied by a massive propaganda campaign.

Sunak was part of all that.

In any case, people vote primarily for a party, only secondarily for a party’s leader or a potential prime minister. The Conservative MPs are now seen, I think rightly, as a total rabble.

I do not think that it matters much, electorally, whether Johnson or Sunak prevails.

Strange. I still think that Labour has become a party without a purpose (as blogged in the past) but the Conservative Party, which was apparently solidly seated in the (mainly) south of England, propped up by (mainly) the middle-aged and elderly, and by the ranks of house-owners seeing their paper capital increase year on year, has now thrown all that away and become the System party most likely to disappear.

Actually it makes again the well-known point that (as Lenin is supposed to have opined) “to destroy a country, first destroy its currency“. I am not so sure that Lenin ever said or wrote that, but no matter. We can also see what happened in the German hyperinflation of the 1920s.

Many people tweet, or scribble in the msm, as if the German hyper-inflation went from 1918 to 1933 and a National Socialist government under the NSDAP and Adolf Hitler. Not so. It lasted for only 2 years, the worst of it being in 1923. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperinflation_in_the_Weimar_Republic.

There were both positive and negative economic effects. The hyperinflation, however, also had political effects, which continued to resonate throughout the 1920s and beyond. The Beer Hall Putsch of 1923 was the first major attempt by Adolf Hitler to seize power. The KPD (German Communist Party) also became powerful at that time.

The faith of the German middle classes, especially, in the currency, was shattered, and not entirely put back together after the actual hyperinflation had ended.

Their faith in the political system of the Weimar Republic was correspondingly weakened.

In the UK, the country was staring down the barrel of hyperinflation under the idiotic misgovernment of Truss and woolly-head. That seems to have been stabilized now, but at what cost? Terrible spending cuts “across the board”, we read (though, strangely, or perhaps not so strangely, “Defence”, meaning money sent to support the Jew Zelensky in Kiev, is probably going to be increased).

Can you believe that idiot Welby?! He should probably not be allowed out without supervision. It really is time for the thoroughly infiltrated Church of England to be disestablished.

Having said that, tweeter “@LesleyPollard1” seems to be another “migrants welcome” idiot. Those people will only learn, and maybe not even then, when Britain is a complete non-white multikulti dustbin, a mixture of black Africa, North Africa, Kabul, Pakistan, Calcutta and a rundown version of New York City. Oh, and China.

More tweets

As I blogged earlier today, if voters prefer Labour to Con even on immigration and Brexit, and maybe on pensions and (almost certainly) on benefits, then that might leave the Conservative Party with literally 10% of the general election vote, and that might mean only 50 Con Party MPs left. Looks as though idiotic Archbishop Welby should direct his prayers, for what they are worth, to almost all Con Party MPs except Liz Truss (who, in her very safe seat, would probably survive even a 90% cull of those MPs).

The unexpected —by some— degree of support for Johnson is a political grasping at straws. Look at the Conservative Party standing in the opinion polls. 14%! Even if that level of voter intent were to double by the time of a general election, it would still result in a massive Labour victory; and there is no guarantee that voter intentions will improve for the Conservative Party.

The MPs backing Johnson are doing so because they do not believe that any but a smallish minority of the British electorate will vote for a party led by a globalist Indian billionaire. “Boris” (though in fact not entirely English) looks and sounds at least sort-of English, is a known quantity even if useless, and so is “the Devil you know”, and has to be more popular with some of the public (if only as a clown or jester) than Sunak.

Of course, it is desperate.

I have never actually bothered to watch GB News, but was just reading and watching, or listening to, some clips it posted on Twitter. Mostly about how “Boris”-idiot should again take on the unearned and unmerited mantle of Prime Minister.

One cannot see, as some simpletons did in the 1970s, the conflict in Northern Ireland as simply a kind of “national liberation struggle”. More a kind of several-hundred-years-old sectarian conflict between two populations, and mainly occurring in a relatively few areas of the province.

The methods of the IRA in the 1970s and 1980s particularly were brutal and callous. Despite some harsh measures on the part of the British and/or Northern Irish authorities, the sort of 1930s/1940s Soviet-style clearances that might have finished the whole problem were never used, nor ever even contemplated.

The British never really hit the IRA infrastructure as hard as they could have. Gerry Adams was, ludicrously, allowed to be notionally “on the dole” for many years, ferried around in one of the black taxis used extensively by the IRA. He and McGuinness and the like were never killed, their families never arrested, their properties never destroyed.

I think that it is clear that the British always favoured, at root, a nice polite Westminster-style “political solution”, even if that meant, strategically, giving in to Sinn Fein (and thus the IRA) in the long run (if only because the birth-rate of the “Republican”/Catholic population was higher than that of the “Loyalist”/Protestant population).

The same happened in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, a country I myself visited in 1977. In 1979, the British played it their usual way, with a nice polite conference at Lancaster House in London (a rather nice small palace, of sorts, which I saw when invited to a couple of receptions in the 1990s).

The British used their intelligence services to bug the hotels of the delegates, and made sure no-one blew the place up. Emerging from that was the idea of a British-style “election” from which would inevitably emerge the winner, that nice, well-educated, little man, Robert Mugabe.

That’s how Britain has done these things since 1945— superficially slick, well-organized, without too much noise or violence in most cases (until the British have left), but in the end, a complete disaster. It started with Indian Partition in 1947.

The bombings etc carried out by the IRA were terrible. Having said that, they were not a tenth of one percent as deadly or as wounding (in bald numerical terms) as, say, the American bombings of countries such as Iraq in the past 30 years, and even smaller by proportion than the bombings in Germany, Japan, France, Romania etc carried out, mainly, by the British and Americans during the Second World War.

Anyone listening to System/Jew-Zionist-lobby pundits such as Dan Hodges is likely to be disappointed, at least most of the time.

I agree with the above, though. This is not now about a piece of Westminster Bubble theatricality, but about the fact that million upon million British people are now going to suffer terribly simply because stupid Liz Truss and woolly-head Kwarteng have been trying to play a performative game with the future of Britain.

If the last part of that tweet is right, we are well and truly ******…

Even so, need one take seriously most British “security and intelligence” sources? Those people have been wrong most of the time since 1945 (and, indeed, were for much of the 1939-45 period).

Mirabile dictu— I even find myself in agreement with sleazy Bryant this afternoon. Not that one need be a political genius to see the obvious truth of that tweet, of course.

If the Prime Minister (yes, even if it is Liz Truss) commits expressly to something, commits to it in the Chamber of the House of Commons, and in response to a direct question, that’s that…or else.

As I blogged yesterday, if the Triple Lock is not reinstated, then that is effectively the end of the Conservative Party, because the hard core of Con support consists of pensioners. If most of them abstain or vote elsewhere, the Conservative Party might really end up with a national vote of 10%, and that would leave them with 50-100 MPs, quite possibly at the bottom of that range.

The Conservative Party is polling around 20% or so. Take away half or three-quarters of that, and you are left with 5%-10%. Goodnight Vienna.

Exactly.

Lose/lose for the Conservative Party. Election now means about 50 Con Party MPs left (ironically, as blogged yesterday, probably including Liz Truss), but the only alternatives are to keep her as PM until the next general election, which might mean a near-total wipe-out, or to replace her as soon as possible, and then hope that at least a third to a half of the Con Party MPs can be saved, 100-175 of them.

Actually, it’s true: Liz Truss is a fighter, a noisy, aggressive, stupid, pointless woman used to pushing herself to the fore. Trouble is, once the silly bitch has forced herself to the front, there is almost literally nothing in her arsenal (intellectually or otherwise), and that is as true in the House of Commons as it is in any possible nuclear confrontation with Russia.

Will that be the next Liz Truss attempt to channel Thatcher and the Falklands? To try to create a “Falklands Factor” or “Belgrano Moment”? If so, a big mistake, and we may all be the victims of it. Russia is not Argentina, it has many thousands of nuclear weapons, many more advanced than our own few (most newspapers etc say the UK has 30-60, some claim 100).

Yes, it may be that Russia could only land 50 or 100 nuclear weapons on us. Is that OK? Do people think that anything much would be left?

“Stein”? (((J)))? Looks like it…

[Jason Stein]

Liz Truss is, apart from all her other faults, totally in the pocket of the Jew-Zionist and Israel lobby. She “proudly” said as much at the recent Conservative Party Conference, at the fringe event organized by the horrible “Conservative Friends of Israel” [“CFI”].

I posted, yesterday, Peter Oborne’s excellent analysis of the Truss/Kwarteng “government”:

That 9-minute exposition is a must-see.

I noticed that Oborne says that, over the past decade, the Conservative Party has been “captured” by “about four” groups, the primary one being “the super-rich“.

Another, interpenetrating, would be the Jew/Zionist/Israel lobby.

I agree. Generally, the aid monies stick to the aid “industry” itself, its executives, to corrupt governments and officials etc. Look at “Save the Children”: millions of pounds wasted on the salaries and expenses of sex pests and rapists such as Brendan Cox, the then husband of assassinated “Labour” MP, Jo Cox. I think that Brendan Cox alone was getting something like £300,000 (maybe £200,000 or so) a year, and he was not even the top boss!

If you want to help the poor of Asia or Africa or elsewhere, 9 times out of 10 your best bet is to just find a family and give money to them. No take-out, no bureaucracy; just a bit of money to help them get on.

There may be circumstances where a large-scale project can have good effects, but that is usually better done on the governmental level.

As for animal charities, better to find one which is directly doing good, such as those supported by the actor Peter Egan [A Perfect Spy etc]: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Egan#Animal_rights_activism.

Cut off all money, arms, and ammunition to the Jew-Zionist dictatorship in Kiev.

Is Harry Cole pushing for war with Russia? Bad idea, if so.

Incidentally, we read that Cole has “the best security and intelligence contacts” of all mainstream journalists in London. Maybe, but how can he check the veracity of what he is being told? What do his contacts want in exchange? What is their agenda?

We are living in unusual times. Historically, more money spent on defence meant more real security for the British people. Now, the reverse is the case. More money spent on defence may mean a greater chance of a nuclear attack on the UK, especially when billions of pounds are wasted on the Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev, which (((typically))) is alternately wheedling and demanding more from us daily.

At the same time, the Royal Navy cannot or will not even secure our shores from migration-invasion.

Wealthy Jew Peston may think that keeping the Triple Lock is a “car crash“, but Liz Truss and her fellow Con MPs know for certain that they are toast if it goes. I have blogged today and yesterday about it.

It is a simple calculation: with Triple Lock, the pensioners who are the core of Conservative electoral support will stay on board, most of them; without the Triple Lock, over half, maybe three-quarters, of the Conservative vote just evaporates, leaving the Conservative Party in an existential hole.

It may well be that international bankers prefer “austerity” for the British people, while parasites siphon off hundreds of billions, but the British people beg to differ.

When will idiots like Peston start working for the British people, and stop spouting System finance-capital propaganda?

You want to cut spending? Close down 90% of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, none of which are doing anything at all useful now. Also, stop sending money to arms manufacturers and to Kiev.

Interesting analysis

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/oct/19/uk-austerity-voters-brexit-cuts-chaos

“After weeks of City chaos, and scoldings from Larry Summers and the IMF, even the most liberal and tofu-loving of commentators have bought into a dangerous idea: that you can never buck “the markets”.

Behind this mentality lies a whole mix of things, including the very understandable schadenfreude that comes with watching the Britannia Unchained lot find out that the markets don’t actually love them back. And who wouldn’t find joy in seeing the double-breasted, vacant-eyed, permanently post-prandial beetroots who between them make up the Conservative parliamentary party await an electoral tide that will sweep them out into generational oblivion? But the “markets know best” is not the lesson of the past few weeks, or the pandemic, or the bankers’ bailout before it. And believing so puts you on a collision course with voters.

You can see the result today: the UK is once again in the grip of austerity and anti-democratic politics – when we got into this crisis precisely because of austerity and democratic failure. The vast spending cuts made by George Osborne wrecked our hospitals, our schools and our town halls, and stoked the frustrations that ensured Brexit. I heard it over and over while reporting before the referendum – passersby declaring they were voting out, and citing as their reason nothing to do with Brussels and almost everything to do with the Tories. Their mum’s wait for an operation, their kids’ inability to get a council house, the loss of industry, the black hole left by privatisation: 40 years of bombed-out economics and bullshit politics.

To prove how far we have regressed, the politician who is once again everywhere is Osborne, easily the most ruinous Conservative minister this century. Others might name the layabout liar Boris Johnson or Truss the malfunctioning android, but it was Osborne who robbed Britain of a future. In the 2010s, interest rates hit rock-bottom and markets were practically screaming for governments to spend and invest. The UK could have rethought and rebuilt its post-crash economic model, but he chose to trample on the working poor and to cut, cut, cut. He is a big reason why Tory economics now has only two settings: cutting taxes for the rich, which never produces growth, or pursuing austerity that never brings prosperity.

Even today, Hunt is copying Osborne’s moves, right down to outsourcing politics to the financiers – just look at the newly installed panel of economic advisers, which comprises just two representatives of giant asset managers and two hedge-funders. Yet Jeremy cannot be George, because his role model cut public services so far there is nothing of substance left to take without them falling over. Now inflation is in double digits (unlike the prime minister’s approval ratings), it is devouring every Whitehall budget.

This is the UK’s horrific doom-loop, where voters are told the untenable is inevitable, while the sensibles keep mouthing stupidities and capitalists mirthlessly toast a cadaverous capitalism. Further downstream, surveys suggest over half (54%) of the 4m households on universal credit have gone without food in the last month, sick people in Wales can wait nearly two days inside an ambulance before getting admitted to A&E, and about 100,000 households each month are rolling off their mortgages into financial disaster.

[The Guardian]

I have noticed that “George” Osborne (Gideon Osborne), that nasty part-Jew “a nobody-but-with-money”, is now once more all over the TV politics shows, dispensing his “wisdom”.

Britain 2022

It’s like It’s a Wonderful Life but without any angels to help people. Maybe what Britain needs are avenging angels. As people now say, “just sayin’.”

Suella Braverman

Suella Braverman must be the shortest-serving Home Secretary ever. Like her predecessor, Priti Patel, another one of Indian origin, she talked a good game on migration invasion and immigration generally. Whether she would have been any more effective, I doubt. Anyway, that’s her gone as Home Secretary, gone as part of the Government, but not as MP: she scored over 63% of the vote last time, so has a safe seat even in these times.

Apparently, she may be replaced by the Jew Shapps, who, about a decade ago, posed as other (invented) people, even using false identity badges, in order to sell get-rich-quick schemes in the Palace of Westminster and elsewhere.

A fanatical Jew-Zionist, and former head of the UK branch of B’Nai B’rith [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%27nai_B%27rith].

Can this “shitshow” of a government actually get much worse?

[Update, 31 August 2023: In fact, Suella Braverman, having been appointed Home Secretary on 6 October 2022, and having resigned on 19 October 2022, was reappointed by new PM Rishi Sunak only six days later, on 25 October 2022! As of time of writing, she remains, albeit ludicrously, pointlessly, and uselessly, in post. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suella_Braverman.

Meanwhile, the Jew Shapps, the shortest-“serving” Home Secretary in history (6 days), and who has had other jobs since October 2022, has only today [31 August 2023] been appointed (ludicrously), Defence Secretary].

Useless“? Well, maybe (I have never heard of her). More useless than, say, Liz Truss, Boris-idiot, James Cleverly, Therese Coffey, and a hundred others?

How mad does this “shitshow” have to get before someone just takes Liz Truss outside and…well, you get my meaning?

There was a time, not so long ago, when British people laughed at goings-on of that sort overseas. Italy, Spain, maybe Yeltsin’s Russia, parts of Latin America or Asia. More than awkward. Humiliating for the whole country.

Liz Truss made herself look like a complete fool when she met the Russian Foreign Minister, Lavrov. He totally outclassed her. In fact, she looked more like a stray visitor or uninformed heckler than a supposed equal to Lavrov. As people now say, “cringe-worthy”.

It’s not just about Liz Truss, though. The whole system and way of life in the UK is running out of road.

Liz Truss might have done better not to have shown her face in the Commons yesterday. She looked (literally) drugged; quiescent. Very strange.

She might be OK at a parish or small local council level, or maybe even at county council level, but she just cannot hack being a minister, or being a Cabinet minister, let alone a prime minister. It’s ludicrous.

Liz Truss became Prime Minister on 6 September 2022. If she can last until 6 November 2022, she gets the cash. 19 days from today.

Not a bad little earner“… especially when combined with her £84,000 MP salary, and continuing MP expenses payments, and whatever else the bitch has going on.

There are conditions, admittedly.

Ironically, South West Norfolk, her seat, is one of the safest the Conservative Party holds [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_West_Norfolk_(UK_Parliament_constituency)], so she herself may well, if not deselected, continue to be an MP even as literally hundreds of her MP colleagues go to the wall.

Once again, there are elements of Greek tragedy (and comedy) in all this.

I feel not a trace of sympathy for this stupid, over-promoted, self-publicizing bitch so typical of Parliament today. She has plunged this country into despair, and is now about to plunge many millions of British people into poverty and, in some cases, destitution.

She should be stamped upon. The same goes for woolly-head Kwarteng, “Boris”-idiot and many others. All the crazy so-called “free market” finance-capitalist pseudo-libertarians.

That piece by Peter Oborne is seriously worth watching. In fact, every single Conservative Party MP, ordinary member, and indeed ordinary voter, should watch it. Nine minutes of solid commonsense.

Ha ha. Made me laugh, and it somehow encapsulates the present situation. Does anyone in the UK retain any confidence in Liz Truss (if they ever did have any— I myself of course never had any).

Over the past 12 years, the various “Conservative” governments have been called “a shitshow” several times, but this shambolic farrago must be “the shitshow to end all shitshows”.

Not that “Labour” is much better really, just less obviously rubbish (arguably)…

Appealing to…honour and patriotism“? Pretty hard to make such an appeal successfully, in view of the fact that real Britain is rapidly ceasing to exist. A population now consisting of demoralized, uncultured (and de-cultured) whites and huge numbers of blacks, browns, Chinese indeed, and others, ruled over by a political class which is just rubbish and, like the msm and much of the country, under the thumb of the Jew-Zionists.

I like it. I usually like it when people speak the truth.

I have, admittedly, seen little of Corden (and had never heard of him until a few years ago), but what I have seen I have not liked.

Russia needs a new start. It needs to free itself once and for all from Jew-Zionism, build a new society on a structural basis similar to the Rudolf Steiner concept, the Threefold Social Order, and bring far more equity and social justice into Russian society.

First, though, it has to beat the regime of the Jew Zelensky.

So good, I posted it twice.

Since 10 October, i.e. in the past week, 30% of the electrical power generating stations in territory held by the Kiev regime have been destroyed. This is the modern equivalent of a mediaeval siege, but on a wide geographical scale.

I cannot see “Western” (NWO) support for Zelensky’s regime continuing indefinitely.

Russia has to win this, or die, and it is clear that the gloves are coming off.

The first reference is to the rather unpleasant lawyer, Jolyon Maugham: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolyon_Maugham; the second to the supposed “poverty expert”, or “food poverty expert”, and recipe tweeter, “Jack Monroe”: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Monroe.

I recently assessed the Monroe person for the blog: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/, my assessment following on from months of Twitter outrage seen about her and about how her life story and lifestyle somehow fail to add up. I suppose that the right word (and appropriately “Essex”) would be “dodgy”.

I should say that she has her defenders, people who seem to have elected her a kind of “Queen of Poverty Britain”. They themselves are very rarely poor, and many in fact seem rather comfortably-off. I question how many actually use her often very peculiar recipes. They seem to support her in a kind of unthinking way because she is perceived to be “anti-austerity” etc, though one could argue that saying (as she does, however absurdly) that someone can live on £5 a week, actually plays into the hands of such as Iain Dunce Duncan Smith and Therese Coffey.

All the same, Ms. Monroe has had published over half a dozen books and, apparently, has made £90,000 (and counting, continuing royalties taken into account) out of them. She also appears on TV shows, gives interviews etc

It seems to me that some people need a “hero” or “heroine”, even a fake one, and those people will shut their eyes to the seeming fact that they are perhaps being taken for a ride.

Many of her supporters also seem to like her “LGBTQXYZ” persona.

800+ people were apparently sending “Jack Monroe” between £3.50 and £44 a month via the Patreon donation website; about 700 still are, it seems (and the maximum suggested amount is now reduced to £10). Still, keeping with the Essex argot, “a nice little earner“, on the face of it.

The problem is or was that it seems that many of those donating received few if any of the items promised in return.

Search for “Jack Monroe” or “Bootstrap Cook” on Twitter, and you will see many of the arguments around her.

For myself, and as I wrote in that assessment, I do not think that she actually set out to defraud anyone, but she has obviously not delivered on her promises, as least to quite a few people.

As for the whole “eat well on 70p a day” idea, it just does not stack up. I am sure (well, it sounds plausible, anyway) that some of her recipes and ideas help some people. Far too many people in the UK live off takeaways and/or unnecessarily expensive packaged foods. However, no-one in the UK can live —even frugally— on less than about £3 a day for food (at minimum), and it is dishonest of someone with a public platform to suggest otherwise. £5 a week for food is certainly “for the birds”.

Some of her recipes are on such a level as “boil an egg, mash it up with mayonnaise, spread it on bread“. Similar to that, anyway. Well, thank you, Escoffier!

There again, the whole “Bootstrap Cook” thing was originally about how someone living off Britain’s pitifully-small basic State benefits could survive, and it is hard to maintain that ethos once you have thousands of pounds a month coming in on a regular basis, and tens of thousands in the bank.

Now, the Observer has actually given Ms. Monroe an award: see https://www.theguardian.com/food/2022/oct/16/i-tweeted-and-life-went-nuts-ofm-awards-2022-food-hero-jack-monroe. As the Guardian said, “voted for by Observer Food Monthly readers“.

I have never met anyone who reads the Observer who has not been affluent. (actually, one scarcely ever meets an Observer reader anyway, the newspaper has such a low circulation).

Anyway, you see my point— virtue-signallers. The sort of people who live in Blackheath, or Hampstead, or near Stroud, drive an SUV when not showing off on a bicycle, and read the Guardian and the Observer.

As said in the assessment, I have no particular animus against Ms. Monroe, and I do not regard her as a fraudster, more just as someone not entirely to be trusted, but I do not think that her contribution, such as it is, to the social or poverty debate in the UK, is at all useful in terms of policy.

I was blogging about that just a few days ago. I should put in for the job of Political Forecaster Laureate. A couple of hundred grand a year and the now-redundant lodge of Harry (Formerly Known As Prince) and the formerly “royal” Mulatta should suit, if Windsor Castle itself is not yet available.

Liz Truss is no longer publicly committed to defending the triple lock – the guarantee that the state pension will rise every year in line with inflation, earnings, or 2.5%, whichever is highest. In their 2019 manifesto the Conservatives said they would “keep the triple lock” and in interviews only two weeks ago, during the party conference, Truss confirmed that she was still “committed” to it.

Not any more. At the Downing Street lobby briefing after cabinet, the PM’s spokesperson refused to say that Truss still feels bound by this. He did not say it would definitely go, but he clearly signalled that it is up for negotiation.

[The Guardian]

As previously blogged, if the Triple Lock goes, the Conservative Party goes, probably forever. Sunak reneged, in 2021-2022, on the manifesto commitment to keep the Triple Lock. Result? Most (mostly 60+-y-o) Conservative Party members voted against him as Con leader. Sunak’s refusal to keep to the pledge cost him the Prime Ministership.

Only about 20%-25% of UK voters are now intending to vote Conservative next time, so say the opinion polls. That 20%-25% bloc is composed almost entirely of pensioners, and is the real hard core of the Conservative general election vote. Alienate that bloc, make them abstain or vote elsewhere, and the Conservative Party vote will collapse to 10% at top. Only a handful, or a few dozen, Con Party seats would remain. Ironically, as said earlier, one of the few left standing, like a pillar of salt, would be that of Liz Truss herself.

We therefore now know, for certain, that at least 40,000 members of the Conservative Party are so brainless that they should not be allowed out on the street alone (if they indeed are now).

A party in the UK stands or falls, more or less, as a party.

Look at this “shitshow“, to quote the open-mouthed Johnny Mercer. The Conservative Party was always admired for its ruthlessness in getting rid of unwanted leaders. Is it now falling short even in that?

Interesting Constitutional point too, that occurs to me: in principle, a general election need only be held within 5 years of the last one, so long as a prime minister can command the confidence of the House (Bagehot), so in principle Truss can be replaced by another Con MP who can rely on that large Con majority in the Commons. However, these circumstances of October 2022 are unusual.

Only the King can prorogue Parliament, and does so on the advice of the Prime Minister. What if Liz Truss refuses to vacate her office, and advises the King that she should remain, in circumstances where it is doubtful that she holds the confidence of even her own side? That might place the King in a very difficult Constitutional position: a choice between proroguing Parliament in effect on his own judgment and against PM’s advice, or not proroguing and then forcing the Commons to vote on confidence.

In such a circumstance, would the Conservative MPs vote “no confidence” in Liz Truss? That would mean a general election in which, on present polling, all but 50-150 out of 357 would lose their seats. Are they that altruistic? Most not, I think.

On the other hand, were those Con MPs to vote that they have confidence in Liz Truss, then no general election, but they would be stuck with her for at least a year, and possibly until the next general election, at least in my view. Awkward.

The new and as yet uncrowned King may find himself taking, or having to take, a far more active role in a party-political matter than he might prefer.

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_British_prorogation_controversy

I did of course read Constitutional Law, at degree level, but would, naturally, not hold out myself as being in any way expert. Perhaps there are others, more erudite, who can solve the conundrum. If so, the comments section is open to the ocean.

Thought for the day

Jewish cultural vandalism

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2022/oct/13/channel-4-show-art-trouble-hitler-painting

Channel 4 has bought a painting by Adolf Hitler and will allow a studio audience to decide whether Jimmy Carr should burn it with a flamethrower.

As part of its latest season of programmes, the TV channel has bought artworks by a range of “problematic” artists, including Pablo Picasso, as well as convicted paedophile Rolf Harris and sexual abuser Eric Gill.

A forthcoming televised debate called Art Trouble, airing later this month, will then question whether you can truly separate a work of art from its creator – before deciding which pieces to destroy with a variety of tools.

Ian Katz, Channel 4’s director of programming, confirmed that if the studio audience chose to save the painting by Hitler it would not hang in the Channel 4 boardroom but would be “appropriately” disposed of.

Katz quoted Jeremy Isaacs, the station’s founder, as saying that Channel 4 should be watched by everyone some of the time – but not everybody all the time. “I think you might add that Channel 4 should be annoying everyone some of the time, but ideally not everyone all the time,” he added.

[The Guardian].

Note the names: “Katz“, “Isaacs” (etc).

As seen above, Hitler’s art is not the only work apparently destined to be destroyed. The Jews and others involved have not only bought (not with their own money, of course) a painting by Hitler, but also works by major 20thC artists such as Picasso and Eric Gill, with the idea of getting some grinning little monkey such as Jimmy Carr to destroy them.

It is not merely a question of whether the art concerned is “great art” (even Hitler himself would not make such a claim for his paintings, all created when he was an aspiring art student before the First World War) but of the idea that someone disapproved of by the System and/or the “woke” mob should suffer a belated “cancellation” by having their art destroyed.

Personally, I would not want art created by, for example, Jews, destroyed —indeed, I sometimes post works by Levitan and others on this blog—, certainly not for that reason alone.

The joy in destruction exhibited in a show of the kind proposed is basically a celebration of destruction, and also a puerile celebration of “cancellation” etc.

Some may say that sensationalist shows of this kind are not always created and promoted by Jews. Perhaps.

This new TV show is not some example of witty or even groundbreaking iconoclasm; au contraire— a facile and rather stupid idea.

A sign of the complete decadence of the Western msm.

You can see that, already, the value of residential and other property is falling.

Labour is at root not very different in policy terms from the misnamed “Conservatives”, not in big picture terms: Ukraine, “Covid”, (anti-) free speech, (pro-) immigration, though of course there are nuances. The precipitous fall in Con fortunes is really just because it is so very obvious that Liz Truss, woolly-head Kwarteng, James Cleverly, Therese Coffey, Suella Braverman etc are not so much the “A” team, but the “Z” team. Dregs of the dregs, who are simply not at the level where they can function properly. They simply have not the competence or capacity to be at Cabinet level, and the public has noticed.

Of course, the longer that a general election is avoided, the more it looks as if Liz Truss is afraid of one…

Having said that, it may be that the Labour lead will be eroded, but it is hard to see how, at present.

Police priorities

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11250119/Police-catching-criminals-not-involving-Twitter-chief-constable-warns.html

Police should spend more time catching criminals than involving themselves in ‘spats on Twitter‘ and attempts at ‘inclusion’ like dancing on duty, a chief constable has warned.

Andy Marsh, who has been head of the College of Policing since September 2021, said forces should prioritise reversing exceptionally low rates of solving crimes.

The guidance comes as police officers have repeatedly been warned over dancing on duty at events such as the Notting Hill festival and pride parades.

It also follows comments from new Home Secretary Suella Braverman, who told chiefs to spend less time on ‘diversity’ and concentrate on fighting crime.

The police executive, who was chief constable of Avon and Somerset and Hampshire, said: ‘Our new guidance on managing non-crime hate incidents, for example, is very clear: The police should not be involving themselves in spats on Twitter.

‘It is not where the public want the police to be. We cannot pick sides on contested social issues…”

Not before time. In particular, certain police forces (Essex, Derbyshire, Devon & Cornwall, Gloucestershire etc) have allowed themselves to be manipulated and brainwashed by the malicious Jew-Zionist pressure group calling itself “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, which pretends to be a large, important, influential organization, but in reality consists of a few dozen fanatical Jews obsessed by supposed “anti-Semitism”, and focussed also on defending the very tarnished reputation of the Israeli state.

Russia

Russia is in turmoil mainly because it lost its ideology when socialism collapsed around 1989. Yeltsin and his Jew kleptocracy could offer nothing to most Russians, and robbed them blind. Putin gave stability and a semblance of national dignity, but offered no new ideology, just Great Russian or “Muscovite” nationalism, a smattering of Russian Orthodox religion, and a nod or two to the partly-discredited Soviet past.

Only when Russia discovers its new ideology will it rediscover its soul, or vice versa. With that will come cohesion, and then unstoppable power.

Falling pound

We have seen the currency news reported as if it was some unexpected event suddenly falling from the sky. In fact, quite a few people (including me) have been predicting it for at least 2 years.

The whole nonsense around the “pandemic” (panicdemic) led to the UK government throwing around money like a drunken sailor, while closing down much of the economy for 1-2 years. Result— misery.

Yes, having a woolly-headed n****r as Chancellor of the Exchequer, a ridiculous half-caste nincompoop as Foreign Secretary, and above all a stupidly ignorant careerist woman as (posing as) Prime Minister, all triggered this alarming collapse in the value of sterling, but beyond all that there is the strategic question.

Britain was part of a trading bloc. Now it is alone in those terms, and the limited trade deals with Australia, Singapore etc cannot replace the main relationship with the EU. I myself favoured Brexit for several reasons, but it had to be handled properly. It never was. The governments of the past 7 years have made no serious attempt to make Brexit work properly.

It is clear that international forces look at the UK, see it being invaded by armies of breeding non-whites, see the UK’s continuing low productivity, see the lack of a sustainable forward-looking plan, and are running away…

To what extent the situation amounts to an attempt to collapse British society further, in order to further the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan throughout Europe, is an open question.

45p in the £ tax

The Liz Truss “government” is still defending the reduction in top-rate tax to 40p in the £. The argument is that the reduction will actually result in more tax coming in, in the end. Maybe, maybe not, but what it does do, immediately, is destroy any sentiment (however fake) that “we are all in this together”, i.e. social cohesion, as the highest paid are given a tax break at the very same time that most people are struggling.

Tax experts, economists etc may well argue that inflation hitting the poor and “middle” is not the same field of argument as a tax break for the rich and affluent. Tell that to the poor and “middle” of society. After all, they are, overwhelmingly, the voters.

…and all people do is tweet, or blog, about it…

Once more, I regret the absence in the UK of any credible — indeed any — social-national party. If my circumstances were different, I would cast caution to the winds and create one myself. Not yet, anyway.

So the storm of madness gathers, with Western (NWO) states, generals, suppposed “experts” all offering nuanced views on “proportionate response” to any Russian tactical nuclear strike in Ukraine (a failed “state”— corrupt, and under Jew-Zionist dictatorship— that has only existed since 1991, and with which the UK has had no treaty or other links).

War games played by the staff colleges of leading powers since the 1960s all came to the same conclusion: any first use of strategic (or even tactical) nuclear weapons in an exchange between NATO and (pre-1991) the Warsaw Pact, i.e. Russia, resulted in an all-out nuclear war.

The question now is whether NATO powers (mainly USA and UK) would attack Russia with strategic nuclear weapons if Russia attacks Ukraine with tactical nuclear weapons. It would be mad. Even within Europe, you could kiss goodbye to, inter alia, London and Paris, for a start. Still want to come up to play?

In fact, Russia might respond with an all-out attack whatever weapons and tactics NATO were to use directly against Russia.

This is not our fight. Steer clear.

Finally, without denigrating Bob Seely, a Conservative MP who was in the British Army, he did serve mostly as a sergeant, so was not concerned directly at that time with high strategy; he did receive a commission later: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Seely.

Seely has also studied these questions academically, and been a journalist (his family owns a large chunk of the Isle of Wight), but are you willing to bet your shirt, your home, or your life on that?

I do not trust journalists, System politicians, or academics specializing in “national security”, strategic studies etc. I do not even trust generals.

Once the UK, USA or any other NATO power (I doubt whether France would get involved, in fact) attacks Russia directly (including Crimea), that’s it. World War Three will be launched. Russia will launch, regardless of the motives, the nuances, the “messages” being sent etc, and we shall be lucky to live through it (if that would even be lucky).
