Diary Blog, 18 April 2026, including a few thoughts about Starmer, Labour, Muslim voters, the Jewish/Israel lobby, and the Mandelson scandal

Saturday quiz

Well, this week a modest 5/10, but still enough to beat political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 2/10. I knew the answers to questions 1, 2, 3, 8, and 10, should have got questions 4 and 10 but did not, and my answer to question 2 was a wild guess but, to my surprise, correct. I may have dredged it up from my subconscious mind, maybe a submerged childhood memory.

Question 4 is not correct, in part of its premises anyway.

[“The claim that nobody at the heart of government — ie close to Starmer — knew Mandelson had flunked his security vetting is unravelling at a rate of knots.
Starmer’s head of comms was alerted by the media last September.
Sources tell me multiple folks in the Cabinet Office (where the UK Security Vetting unit is based) had known for quite some time.
Cat Little, Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary, even had a copy of the UK Sec Vet January 2025 document concluding Mandelson was unfit to be US ambassador.
She informed the new cabinet secretary Antonia Romeo.
Soon there were about a dozen lawyers and officials crawling all over it.
Such matters don’t stay secret for long in the upper echelons of Whitehall.
But it seems the PM was still in the dark … until last Tuesday.
Mmmmmm.”
]

In a sense, a political-nerd/Westminster Bubble story and scandal. I cannot believe that, in public bars and golf clubs, people talk of little else, but it does tend to support the now-embedded narrative that Starmer-stein is either dishonest or incompetent, or both, which I myself have believed for several years.

As frequently blogged previously, as far as the Pakistani/Muslim rape gangs are concerned, Starmer and Labour cannot afford to “offend” the voting bloc consisting of Muslims, especially, because they are now at least 6% or 8%, and moving towards 10%, of the population. By the time of the next general election (probably 2029 if elections are not “suspended” by reason of a contrived war against Russia), that ~10% bloc will be about half, maybe even two-thirds, of the Labour vote; Muslims are already at least a third of Labour voters nationwide. At present, Labour is polling at around 20%; without the Muslim voters, that would sink to 15% or lower, certainly by 2029.

At the same time, Starmer-stein himself is of course heavily pro-Jew, pro-Israel, is married to a Jewish woman, and has children being brought up as if full-Jew. He belongs to Labour Friends of Israel, and much of Starmer’s —and Labour’s— recent funding has come via Jewish links.

Starmer and his government are, therefore, being pulled in opposing directions, and are in any case incompetent and rudderless.

Well, that translates to a Commons with about 293 Reform UK MPs (about 33 short of an overall majority), 84 Cons (very weak official Opposition), 78 Greens, 69 LibDems, 53 Lab, and 45 SNP [etc].

Once again, on those figures, Starmer would lose his own seat, a potential fact indicated by all recent (for several months) opinion polling.

One joker in the GE 2029 pack might be Restore Britain. If it stood enough candidates, it would split the “conservative-nationalist” vote, hitting Reform worst; maybe the Cons a little as well.

Restore at present does not look like it can supplant underwhelming Reform, so they might end up competing for more or less the same bloc of votes. I have little time for Reform, but it really is, at present, the only game in town if you want to wipe out Lab and Con (leaving aside the loonie new Greens, with their pro-drug and pro-mass immigration policies).

The above result, a hung Parliament, might be the best result for social nationalism: the System parties gravely and perhaps mortally wounded, and Reform unable to govern effectively without Con MP-votes. That might in turn lead to a demand for real social nationalism. As Lenin may have said, “the worse, the better“.

That opinion poll again underlines the main or central fact: people are voting against the System parties, not for either the Greens or Reform.

The UK— a country sliding to disorder and some sort of civil/social war.

If so, and as I expect, the central fact, or “big story” will be the collapse of both main System parties.

The local elections, many of which Labour tried to “postpone”, are about more than just local council seat numbers. Council seats are often training grounds for future MPs and, though mostly unpaid, do provide “expenses” of various kinds, and there is actual remuneration for those in charge of local “cabinet” briefs at the various councils. At large councils, that can add up to quite a good quasi-salary.

If Lab and Con are massively culled on 7 May 2026, that cripples their local organizations, and that has knock-on effects at the later general election (currently expected to be in 2029).

In fact, I think that only three local election leaflets have been put though my own door (New Forest area) so far: Reform UK, LibDems, and an Independent lady (the most impressive-looking candidate, arguably).

The main System parties have not put their tawdry wares on display here, so far.

…and if that proves to be “impossible”, then we have other and permanently-effective solutions.

Ecce American “democracy”…

Certainly, women often tend to vote based on emotional responses, or superficialities. Difficult question.

I do think that voting in national elections in the UK should be restricted to persons of 28+ years. Having said that, only about 40% or so of those under 28 vote anyway: see https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cley905dg20o.

Very true…

Interesting and rather true, quite often.

That last sentence, about female judges, is very true. Usually unwilling to take a really independent stand against the accepted sentiment or expected result.

A horrible tribe, and their State of Israel is now a diseased and cancerous blot on the world.

Whether Starmer-stein goes or stays, there will not be any general election called, because both Labour and Conservative MPs know that, should they vote, or vote in effect, for that, they will be turkeys voting for Christmas. Current polling suggests that, out of 513 Con and Lab MPs currently in place, only about 130-150 would survive a general election; only a third, maybe only a quarter of the present Lab/Con MPs would survive.

Of course, alcohol abuse has always been a problem in Russia, for many many centuries, but (arguably) became far worse under Soviet rule, despite periodic attempts to deal with the problem. I think that, had Andropov survived, and been in good health, he might have managed to cut alcoholism and alcohol misuse tremendously. Andropov might also have managed to salvage the Soviet system as a whole. Gorbachev never really tried to do either, not harshly enough anyway.

This Rwandan import, the 17-year-old son of Alphonse and Laetitia Rudakubana, was raised in a cauldron of screams, grunts, and objects hurled against walls.

He hadn’t stepped out alone in over two years. On the morning of 29 July 2024 his parents and brother simply watched him leave anyway.

Empty knife boxes littered the place. He glared through English neighbours like they were already corpses.

The signs were everywhere; the imported family ignored them, obstructed authorities, and let the monster walk free into a Taylor Swift dance class, which begs the question, they should be held accountable at the very least.

Three native English girls, Bebe, Alice, Elsie butchered. Ten more slashed and scarred for life. All because Britain imported this family from Rwanda’s chaos and pretended they could be turned into civilised locals.

The public inquiry mutters about “moral failure” by the parents and systemic breakdowns. Fine. But the root failure is national: a deliberate policy of flooding English villages with Third World imports whose cultural DNA carries violence, dysfunction, and zero loyalty to our people.

Axel Rudakubana did not spring from English soil. He arrived with it, was sheltered by it, and unleashed it on our daughters.

The family has scarpered into hiding, no doubt on the taxpayer’s dime. The neighbours endure a living nightmare.

The house is for sale like tainted goods. And still the elite refuses to say the obvious: mass immigration from incompatible corners of the globe imports incompatible savagery.

Native English children are not collateral damage in some enrichment experiment.

England belongs to the English.

Our streets, our villages, our daughters’ safety come first, before any foreign import, any asylum sob story, any diversity quota.

Hold them to account and then Deport the remnants of this family. End the importation. Reclaim our country before the next Rudakubana strikes. Nothing less will suffice.“]

Here is the father of Zionism: Theodor Herzl. There are more than 50 streets named after him in the modern state of Israel, more than any other national figure.

From beginning to end, this has been a grand farce: this is not the biblical Israel, this is not the nation of the prophets and patriarchs of old, this is not God’s chosen people nor the restoration of the House of David: that is not their star nor their banner!

A few thoughts out of season

Well, here we are on Boxing Day, and a few thoughts came to my mind as I perused the online newspapers and Twitter/X.

The first arose when I saw a tweet from a Jewish individual wishing readers a “Happy Hannukah” (also spelled “Chanukah”).

In the past, not only when I was a child in the 1960s, or a teenager in the 1970s, but also in more recent decades, the public expression of Jewish religion was rather limited. I do not recall having ever seen the word(s) “Hanukkah” or “Chanukah” (except in the odd book) until fairly recently, perhaps 1990s or later. Not in England, where I was mostly brought up; and not in Australia, where I lived from early 1967 to late 1969.

I certainly do not recall this Jewish festival being pushed into the public realm in the UK or even, when I was resident there intermittently in the years 1989-1993, in the New York/New Jersey area.

Now, it is different. 10 Downing Street has had a menorah, the multi-armed candlestick of the Jews, in its window, as well as an Israeli flag projected onto the facade of the building.

We also see the words “Happy Chanukah” projected onto, of all most prominent places, Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square.

[Nelson’s Column on Christmas Day 2024]

In fact, menorah representations or sculptures, as well as Hannukah slogans, have suddenly appeared in towns and cities all over the UK (and elsewhere) in recent years.

This is in a sense strange. The actual Jewish population has not altered in size, substantially, for some years. Indeed, there is some evidence that numbers of Jews in the UK have decreased since the 1980s: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Jews#Demographics.

The Jewish population in the UK is around 250,000-300,000, so far less than 1% of the whole UK population. Perhaps half of one percent. Yet their symbols have, in recent years, proliferated in public positions.

At present, the Jews are celebrating Hannukah, a religious festival of which Wikipedia says:

Hanukkah[a] (/ˈhænəkə//ˈhɑːnəkə/; חֲנֻכָּה‎ Ḥănukkā listen) is a Jewish festival commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem and subsequent rededication of the Second Temple at the beginning of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire in the 2nd century BCE.[3][4]

[Wikipedia]

In other words, it commemorates, at least inter alia, military victory in the Middle East, including the capture of Jerusalem well over two thousand years ago. Put another way, it can be taken to be an expression of Jewish ethnic supremacism (the same is true of many of their festivals).

The contrast with Christmas is stark; Christmas, with its message of peace.

Originally instituted as a feast “in the manner of Sukkot (Booths)”, it does not come with the corresponding obligations, and is therefore a relatively minor holiday in strictly religious terms. Nevertheless, Hanukkah has attained major cultural significance in North America and elsewhere, especially among secular Jews, due to often occurring around the same time as Christmas during the festive season.[8]

[Wikipedia]

It is common to see non-Jews in the UK etc, people who are no doubt well-meaning but ignorant, conflating the two festivals, for the simple reason that they occur not infrequently at the same time of year. They are, however, quite different, and actually have no connection with each other.

That Jewish ethnic supremacism can be seen in the tweet below, showing (and approving) Israeli Army personnel lighting a Hannukah menorah in a looted and occupied home in Lebanon.

Seems that projecting political messages onto the buildings of others is a game anyone can play.

Interesting that Reform UK now has a greater number of members than the moribund “Conservative” Party. Of course, Reform is a mass movement, a grassroots movement, albeit one controlled and literally owned by a few people and, mainly, by Nigel Farage, whereas the Conservative Party is merely the rump, or fag-end, of a once ubiquitous grassroots party which (in the 1940s, 1950s, even 1960s) had literally millions of members (as also had Labour).

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14227257/Reform-memberships-surpasses-Tories.html.

So 70% of UK people now think immigration is now running at “too high” a level. Only 3% think that immigration is “too low”. I suppose that that tiny 3% minority includes Yvette Cooper, Starmer, and (other) very silly people such as Zoe Gardner (“@ZoeJardiniere”), who seem to live in some alternate reality. However, those pro-migration-invasion crazies are the ones often seen on TV, posing as “experts”. Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan…

I wager that, were only white English people to be counted in that poll, the 70% figure would rise to somewhere around 90%.

Ukrainians are refusing to fight for the regime of the Jew Zelensky, for his brutal and shambolic dictatorship.

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13115451/Outrage-genocide-message-projected-Big-Ben-Jewish-pro-Palestine.html

Jewish leaders reacted with fury last night after a pro-Palestine slogan was projected on to Big Ben.

Activists pulled off the stunt in full view of dozens of police monitoring a protest outside Parliament on Wednesday night. Scotland Yard said the officers could not act because it was ‘not a criminal offence’.

[Daily Mail]

A few months ago, the Jews arranged for the Israeli flag to be projected for a day or more onto 10 Downing Street. Blatant supremacism. That was far more offensive to many, including me.

The present military power and political influence of “World Jewry”, centred on Israel, is a catastrophe for the world. Another negative long-term consequence of the disastrous —and disastrously finishing—Second World War.

The Jew Zelensky trying to fool the same people all over again.

Ukraine (Kiev regime) has fewer and fewer soldiers, especially on the frontlines, even fewer experienced soldiers, and a shortage of arms and ammunition. Its economy is in ruins, and up to a third of the entire population has relocated out of the country.

Russia has millions of reserve troops being trained and ready for deployment; has hugely expanded its production of arms and ammunition; the Russian hydrocarbon sector is bringing in hundreds of billions of dollars (or equivalent) in oil and gas sales; the domestic Russian economy is normal; new trade links worldwide are opening up. Russia’s nuclear backstop is being upgraded, and links with Iran etc are bringing up thousands of drones ready for deployment. Russia also has 6,000+ tactical and strategic nuclear weapons and a variety of delivery systems.

“Ukraine” will not launch a new counter-offensive, certainly not a successful one, in 2024. Russia, though, may launch one, and with every chance of success.

The U.S. Presidential election will quite likely bring a new American president to office. If that individual cuts off the supply of money and arms to the Kiev regime, the war will be over in weeks not months.

My legal victory against @BristolUni has set a vital precedent that will help to protect pro-Palestine campaigners across Britain. I still have around £30,000 outstanding of my legal fees. If you would like to share in this victory, please contribute at: https://fightingfund.org/supportmiller.

In fact, he now has about £6,000 outstanding, having raised, as of today, a remarkable £99,000.

In the UK, including the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] and the more powerfully-connected “Community Security Trust” [“CST”].

Powell was wrong in terms of times and dates, wrong in some details, but right in terms of overall purport.

The UK is not the only country that has been and is increasingly swamped. Belgium (as above), Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, the Scandinavian lands, even Ireland.

All the while, the “useful idiots” in subsidized “community” campaigns, churches etc will be singing about how wonderful mass immigration from backward countries is…

The Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan] is no mere “conspiracy theory” but something which is being played out in real time, and right in front of our own eyes. The conspirators are not (only) little groups of wild-eyed fanatics in basements, and/or with names ending in “un-English” suffixes, but those in Westminster, in the “mainstream” political parties, in the newspapers, on (especially) TV and radio, and in the general world of supposed “celebrity”.

Incidentally, groups such as the malicious Jew-Zionist “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] get Jewish volunteers to “edit” (vandalize) Wikipedia on certain topics, so be cautious about what you read there.

GE 2024

Saw an opinion piece in the Yorkshire Post about the upcoming 2024 General Election. It seems to me to be mainly right:

Speaking to friends and colleagues, and listening in to conversations in the pub or on the train, I am becoming increasingly convinced that the public has made up its mind about the current government, and there is little Rishi Sunak and his team can do to change that.

They can keep talking, but voters are not listening anymore. The problem for the Conservatives isn’t a wave of enthusiasm for Sir Keir Starmer and Labour. Far from it. This isn’t the ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ vibe that swept Tony Blair to power in 1997, nor even the Corbyn mini surge that cost Theresa May her majority in 2017.

No, the problem for the Conservatives is not that their supporters are running to Labour, but that, as demonstrated in recent by-elections, Tory voters are simply staying at home on polling day.

Is that any surprise? I doubt that many people who gave Boris Johnson a thumping victory in 2019 thought they were voting for open borders, rampant inflation, an economic recession, and the highest tax burden since World War II. The Tories have only themselves to blame.

Sure, the pandemic followed by the war in Ukraine were unprecedented events that helped blow the government off course, but the Conservatives have lost sight of who they are supposed to be fighting for.

Imagine that over the next few months everything goes right for the Prime Minister – the establishment blob is finally defeated over asylum seekers and flights take off for Rwanda, and the boats are stopped crossing the Channel; the economy comes out of recession and begins to grow, inflation is tamed, and the Chancellor cuts taxes in the spring Budget.

Would it be enough to swing things Rishi’s way? I am starting to doubt it.

Any politician who wants to reconnect with the voters who could propel them to power should accompany me on my early morning commute. Catch any early train or bus into Leeds, Sheffield or Wakefield and take a look around the carriage. I guarantee you will see the nation’s grafters who work hard in often poorly paid jobs, pay their taxes, obey the law, and do their best to raise their families.

Women and ethnic minorities are overrepresented on these journeys, and I sometimes play a game with myself trying to guess their jobs – health staff, cleaners, construction workers, shop staff and call centre operatives.

If a party wants to gain power it should ensure that every single policy in the manifesto passes one simple test – will it make the lives of these people better?

The reason politicians, both left and right, have become so disconnected from their voters is that you don’t often see them shivering in the pouring rain at a bus stop at 5am, or catching the 6.18 crowded train into Leeds.

As the general election gets closer we are starting to get some idea of what a Labour government will look like, and it is not an encouraging sight.

…the radical ideas, like the green growth plan, have to be ditched. Anyone expecting sweeping progressive changes under Labour is likely to be sorely disappointed.

Instead Labour seems increasingly likely to concentrate on toxic culture war issues that mean little to most people beyond the ideologues and fanatics.

Take for example two recent policy pledges. One is to impose VAT on private school fees, and the other is to close so-called loopholes in the fox hunting ban by outlawing drag hunting.

Sure the vindictive class warriors will love this, but I look around the carriage on my early morning train and ask myself, would such policies make the lives of my fellow passengers any better? No, of course not. It would not make the blindest bit of difference.

Come the general election voters will be faced with an uninspiring choice between a Conservative party that has run out of steam, and a Labour party that never had any puff in the first place.

I am convinced that if any party produced a manifesto that passed my early morning train test it would win by a landslide.

[Bill Carmichael, in the Yorkshire Post].

Not 100% right, but 90%+.

The problem is that only social-nationalism can really satisfy Britain’s requirements, but the “Zionist”/pro-Israel element jumps upon even tiny social-national parties, movements, fora etc, and makes constant complaint to police, regulators etc, in order to prevent any tiny social-national party etc becoming a large one.

Our form of Parliamentary democracy has failed because (((a certain element))) has choked it.

Until the ground is cleared, it will be hard for Britain to start to live again.

If anyone —such as the absurd political “ho”, Liz Truss— thinks that bureaucracy in the UK is worse than that of the USA, he or —in this case, she— has evidently never lived in the United States.

Liz Truss is a dangerous woman, though, despite her idiocy. Instead of accepting her political demise and defenestration, she is “doubling the bet” by saying that the Deep State etc got rid of her, and that she was right about the economy and society all along.

Truss’s strategy is obvious. The Conservative Party is going straight down with the electorate. Nothing can save it. The only chance, and a slight one, is that Starmer/Labour makes such a poor impression in the next few months that people will vote Con to stop Labour getting a huge majority. Very unlikely.

On that premise, Sunak, the little Indian money-juggler presently posing as Prime Minister, is toast. Maybe even before, but more likely after, GE 2024. The question then becomes who replaces Sunak. There are no candidates popular with either the public or the Conservative MPs and/or rank-and-file. On that basis, Truss seems to feel that she has as much chance as any of the other present possibilities (Mordaunt, Cleverly, Tugendhat, Suella Braverman etc).

Imagine Cleverly as Prime Minister! Or “chocolate soldier” Tugendhat. Still, Liz Truss was quite as absurd, really, as was “Boris”-idiot, as was Theresa May.

If, as predicted, Conservative MPs reduce in number to 100, or even 50, the pool will be small. Almost anyone in that small pool might have a chance. A chance, that is, of becoming Leader of the Conservative Party, not of becoming Prime Minister.

There it is, in a nutshell. Feral blacks (mostly), and sometimes others, uncontrolled by either society or any personal subjective value-system.

Interesting. I was unaware that this involved more “trans” nonsense.

I am usually against the death penalty, but there may be exceptions, cases where society needs to “excommunicate” a particularly unpleasant or evil individual or group.

It may seem fanciful to say that the endless lies of the msm, from the cat-killing murdering Chinese supposedly being a “woman”, to the “Covid” narrative, and the dangerous fake “vaccines” etc (oh, and the idea that most immigrants are somehow useful to our society) derive from the whole “holocaust” farrago of the past half-century or so, but this disregard for actual truth and actual fact started somewhere; it did not suddenly appear from nowhere, and it is getting ever more pronounced in our society.

Certainly when the individuals concerned are not even European.

I disagree with Goodwin on a few points, especially his pro-Israel and pro-Jewish lobby stances, but overall I agree with that.

There is no military solution to the conflict in Ukraine and it must be resolved through negotiations,” said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

A simple mathematical calculation shows that Russia is militarily superior, and that Ukraine will not be, if the West does not intervene. However, NATO does not want war and will not go to war. It is necessary to ask for a ceasefire, because it is impossible to bring Russia to its knees in the military plan” , said the Hungarian Prime Minister.

In fact, though Orban is correct in assuming that the Kiev regime simply cannot “win”, he is not entirely correct in assuming that there is “no military solution“, because Russia could “win”, at least to the extent of seizing all of Eastern Ukraine, and all of the Black Sea littoral.

I had assumed as much, because the Israelis have only claimed to have cleared a relatively few miles of tunnels, whereas it was said initially that Hamas has 200-300 miles of tunnels, which may or may not be interconnected. Probably some are not connected to the others.

I have to say that I find tunnels fascinating, but am very glad that I am not one of the soldiers (on either side) fighting either to defend them or to clear them.

I think that, sooner or later, maybe within 10 years, things will come full circle, and the cities of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem etc will find themselves on the receiving end of even greater destruction.

Good grief! If this [see below] really is a snapshot of the mind of Dominic Cummings, then the government really is in the hands not only of idiots (eg Boris-idiot, Priti Patel etc) but of lunatics.

It also reminds us that lunacy is not really so hard to distinguish from genius, in most cases.

[Update, 23 January 2020: the full lunacy of Cummings’ blog post, some of which was in the deleted tweet above, seems to have been expunged from the Internet, though maybe one of his “weirdos and misfits” would be able to find it]

[Update, 12 May 2024: the tweet appears to have been reinstated on Twitter/X and so is now visible here too]

The above (apparently from a blog penned by Cummings) is an inward-gazing stream of consciousness (though purporting to be to the point) worthy of someone whose residential address ends with the word “Hospital”, or similar.

What makes it alarming is that Cummings is not just a stray “Conservative” (and the word seems ever-less useful as a descriptor) who is on the periphery of power (in the way that the Monday Club or the Bow Group used to be), but someone right at the centre of what could be (perhaps inaccurately) called the Johnson Project. Indeed, “Cummings Project” might be more accurate. Boris Johnson himself has few ideas beyond schoolboy fantasies such as building bridges from Scotland to Ireland, creating artificial islands with Metropolis airports on them etc.

There was talk before the recent General Election that in Cabinet (effectively in Cabinet; I suppose technically, Cabinet committee), Cummings actually overruled the Prime Minister several times. Not just spoke over him, but overruled him on decisions! Now, OK, the person posing as Prime Minister is Boris-idiot, a bad joke PM who is a proven serial —indeed constant— liar, incompetent and fantasist, but there is still such a thing as respect for the office itself…

Dominic Cummings seems to me (admittedly only from what I have read…I have never met him or anyone who has met him) to be like a person who is somewhere between a guest and a gatecrasher at a dinner party, someone who has no idea how to behave and who has no respect for the hosts, the guests, the staff or the event.

Is there anything correct about his views re. government and civil service? Yes, the gene pool is shallow or narrow; in politics now even more so than in the administration proper (Civil Service), but the answer to that is to carefully reform recruitment and training, as well as overall structure, not to let off hand grenades all over Westminster.

I think that we have to remind ourselves that governing the UK is not some kind of pathetic country house weekend game in the drawing room or Hall. This impacts on real people, in their millions, all over this country. It is not a matter of scribbling some clever little half-baked idea that can be run up the flagpole at the Oxford Union or (taking on board the Cummings dislike of Oxbridge) a Spectator drinks party.

This made me laugh, though!

I have to say that I agree with the tweeter below:

It may seem lazy to say “it is easier to destroy than create”, but the thing about truisms is that they contain truth. The machinery of administration and government in the UK was created over centuries, and particularly in the century or so since the mid-Victorian era. Once you tear it to pieces, you may find that groups of supposedly terribly clever little people, weirdos and misfits, sitting in groups around Whitehall, cannot in fact replace what presently exists.

Britain today has already suffered a number of shocks to its postwar (post-1945) stability: Thatcherism, mass immigration (accelerated since 1997), Blair-Brown “reforms”, the financial crisis of 2008, the fake “austerity” of the evil 2010-2019 “Conservative” governments (particularly the half-baked idiocies of Dunce Duncan Smith and his underlings). Now this.

Dominic Cummings is a History graduate, for what that is now worth. He will know, I presume, what happens to societies when everything that underpins their stability is knocked away. I presume that he also knows that revolutions usually consume their own children…

A floundering idiot working for a floundering idiot, and both pretending to be great brains…you couldn’t make it up.
