I might add that, neither in 2014 (when the “UK Lawyers of Israel” Jews made their contrived complaint against me to the Bar Standards Board), nor in 2016 (when the case was heard by the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal) was I aware that Gove was also an alcoholic drunk, and a serial cocaine abuser! I noticed a day or two ago that even the Crufts dog show on TV (in the UK) had some weird-looking Jewish woman presenting it or commenting on it, or some of it (I only saw a few minutes of the show).

We see so many posts on Twitter/X by Jews in the UK, claiming that whatever Israel may do in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq etc has nothing to do with the “British” Jewish community, nothing at all. All the same, those same Jews tweeting on Twitter/X are always, always supportive of Israel and its activities in every way imaginable, from its arms industry to whatever its armed forces do, including the mass slaughter in Gaza, and even the murderous activities of MOSSAD and other allied agencies of Israeli Intelligence.

Of course, the Jews on Twitter/X are far more fanatical, I imagine, than many of those not making a public statement. Still, the Jew-Zionist pressure groups themselves say that up to 95% of Jews in the UK “support Israel” (whatever that may mean).

I remember well the Poland of the late 1980s, to which I made several visits, a total time spent of, perhaps, 2 months. I have not returned since late 1989, when I was best man at a large wedding at the Basilica in the main square at Krakov. It was like the wedding scene in the film El Cid.

From what I have seen on Google Earth, Twitter etc, I should not recognize the Warsaw, or even Krakov and Bielsko-Biala etc, that I saw back then. Remarkable and interesting.

Also, they may think that “we have nuclear weapons, but Iran has none.”

What that says to me is that it is now not unthinkable that, if Trump pulls his forces out of the war, the [Israeli] Jews will use those nuclear weapons on Iran. That might destroy Iran completely, or for hundreds of years, but it will also start the countdown to doom for Israel itself.

As long as I have been aware of his existence, from about 2010, Tim Montgomerie has been writing almost total nonsense about what should be UK government policy. He is, like oily Fraser Nelson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraser_Nelson] often said to be some kind of “senior commentator”. Ludicrous.

People such as Montgomerie, with only (what to me seems) a tenuous grip on the reality of social issues, should never hold power or exert more than the most peripheral influence, because what seems fine in the ivory tower often causes mayhem on the streets.

Matt Goodwin says that the only way for Sunak to mitigate the unfolding electoral picture is to “throw everything” at the 30%-40% of 2019 Con voters, who intend to either abstain from the General Election or to vote Reform UK, and whose top issue now is “stopping the boats“.

Well, stopping the most obvious aspect of the migration invasion is important, but those “small boats” are not even 5% of the problem. About 50,000 individuals a year out of about a million in toto. Are those 2019 Con voters who are presently disenchanted, and who are spoken about by Goodwin, really that stupid? I do not know. Maybe; maybe not.

Thinking about it, though, what is meant by “throwing everything” at the cross-Channel invasion? Immediately arresting and detaining all such invaders? That is more or less what is being done, albeit in a “velvet glove” way.

So, yes, the invaders could be held in harsher, more restrictive conditions, not allowed to wander around (though how? Not give them money? Not allow them telephones or Internet access? Take away their shoes?). Difficult unless all are held in remote camps.

Even such measures, however, though they might be popular, would not solve the problem of the —on average— hundreds per day landing or being landed (often by UK Border “Farce“, RNLI or Royal Navy ships and boats) on our shores.

Would Sunak really sink the boats in mid-Channel? Will Sunak have the invaders fired upon? Of course not. So the actual flow, even of the outright “small boat” invaders, is not going to be stopped by Sunak.

What is left is words, empty words. As in “if you vote Conservative, we promise to do something to stop the boats…sometime after the Election…“

How does Rebecca Long-Bailey consider that Israel as a state is not a “racist endeavour”? It was founded by Jews for Jews! Watched a new episode of Endeavour. Quite well-executed as always, but the “agenda”, as in other series such as Grantchester etc, becomes so very obvious that it is silly. Every second character is black, South Asian or gay. This in the Oxford of 1970! Even the tinker “gypsy” children who find one of the bodies near their caravans are playing football with a black boy; and the mother of a “racist” teenager who is stabbed later blames the “British Movement” and its Parliamentary candidate, so redeeming herself as a true multikulti convertee. All a bit too desperate…

Endeavour has also continued the Inspector Morse and Lewis tradition of a few subtle or not so subtle jests in each film. In this case, a Bangladeshi restaurant called The Jolly Rajah and an apartment building called Tiffin Court…

Even leaving the above gripes aside, the plot this time was nowhere near as good as in most if not all previous episodes.

Good grief! If this [see below] really is a snapshot of the mind of Dominic Cummings, then the government really is in the hands not only of idiots (eg Boris-idiot, Priti Patel etc) but of lunatics.

The above (apparently from a blog penned by Cummings) is an inward-gazing stream of consciousness (though purporting to be to the point) worthy of someone whose residential address ends with the word “Hospital”, or similar.

What makes it alarming is that Cummings is not just a stray “Conservative” (and the word seems ever-less useful as a descriptor) who is on the periphery of power (in the way that the Monday Club or the Bow Group used to be), but someone right at the centre of what could be (perhaps inaccurately) called the Johnson Project. Indeed, “Cummings Project” might be more accurate. Boris Johnson himself has few ideas beyond schoolboy fantasies such as building bridges from Scotland to Ireland, creating artificial islands with Metropolis airports on them etc.

There was talk before the recent General Election that in Cabinet (effectively in Cabinet; I suppose technically, Cabinet committee), Cummings actually overruled the Prime Minister several times. Not just spoke over him, but overruled him on decisions! Now, OK, the person posing as Prime Minister is Boris-idiot, a bad joke PM who is a proven serial —indeed constant— liar, incompetent and fantasist, but there is still such a thing as respect for the office itself…

Dominic Cummings seems to me (admittedly only from what I have read…I have never met him or anyone who has met him) to be like a person who is somewhere between a guest and a gatecrasher at a dinner party, someone who has no idea how to behave and who has no respect for the hosts, the guests, the staff or the event.

Is there anything correct about his views re. government and civil service? Yes, the gene pool is shallow or narrow; in politics now even more so than in the administration proper (Civil Service), but the answer to that is to carefully reform recruitment and training, as well as overall structure, not to let off hand grenades all over Westminster.

I think that we have to remind ourselves that governing the UK is not some kind of pathetic country house weekend game in the drawing room or Hall. This impacts on real people, in their millions, all over this country. It is not a matter of scribbling some clever little half-baked idea that can be run up the flagpole at the Oxford Union or (taking on board the Cummings dislike of Oxbridge) a Spectator drinks party.

It may seem lazy to say “it is easier to destroy than create”, but the thing about truisms is that they contain truth. The machinery of administration and government in the UK was created over centuries, and particularly in the century or so since the mid-Victorian era. Once you tear it to pieces, you may find that groups of supposedly terribly clever little people, weirdos and misfits, sitting in groups around Whitehall, cannot in fact replace what presently exists.

Britain today has already suffered a number of shocks to its postwar (post-1945) stability: Thatcherism, mass immigration (accelerated since 1997), Blair-Brown “reforms”, the financial crisis of 2008, the fake “austerity” of the evil 2010-2019 “Conservative” governments (particularly the half-baked idiocies of Dunce Duncan Smith and his underlings). Now this.

Dominic Cummings is a History graduate, for what that is now worth. He will know, I presume, what happens to societies when everything that underpins their stability is knocked away. I presume that he also knows that revolutions usually consume their own children…
