Well, this week brings another victory over political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 5/10. I scored 7/10. I did not know the answers to questions 3, 5, and 8.
Historical note
Surely one of the best films of its type.
Talking point
“But you can give it up, stop Shirriffing, if it has stopped being a respectable job,” said Sam.
“We’re not allowed to,” said Robin.
“If I hear not allowed much oftener,” said Sam, “I’m going to get angry.”
“Can’t say as I’d be sorry to see it,” said Robin, lowering his voice. “If we allgot angry together something might be done.”
. . . This was Frodo and Sam’s own country, and they found out now that they cared about it more than any other place in the world. Many of the houses that they had known were missing. Some seemed to have been burned down. The pleasant row of old hobbit-holes in the bank on the north side of the Pool were deserted, and their little gardens that used to run down bright to the water’s edge were rank with weeds. Worse, there was a whole line of the ugly new houses all along Pool Side, where the Hobbiton Road ran close to the bank. An avenue of trees had stood there. They were all gone. And looking with dismay up the road towards Bag End they saw a tall chimney of brick in the distance. It was pouring out black smoke into the evening air.
. . . “This is worse than Mordor!” said Sam. “Much worse in a way. It comes home to you, as they say; because it is home, and you remember it before it was all ruined.”
—J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings, Book VI, ch. 8.
Unfortunately, basically “System” historians and academics such as Ferguson are easily held to ransom by the Jewish/Zionist/Israel lobby. Their own careerist interests tend to get in the way of truth-telling.
The Lord of the Rings quotation there, though, resonates with me. That is more or less how I feel about England. There is, almost daily, less and less left of the England I remember from childhood (early-mid 1960s) and my teenage years (early to mid 1970s) (I was in Australia 1967, 1968, 1969).
Now we are told that, even “net”, the migration invasion will be around a million a year, indefinitely. That means continual degradation of housing availability, healthcare availability, law and order, availability of decent education, ever-lowering real pay; it also means the destruction of the welfare state.
It makes no difference at all whether those entering the UK do so with various visas, and on scheduled flights, or do so in rubber boats, invading the beaches of southern England.
The questions raised are:
how many years before this society collapses, together with its corrupt and decadent political system?
how many years before a real social-national government can take power and exterminate the societal evils that are being visited upon us (not all of which, however, are by reason of mass immigration)?

Sweden has taken immigration below net zero – eg, more are now leaving than arriving.
It tightened rules, upped deportation and agreed to offer up to £25k to those who “re-emigrate” (aka voluntary repatriation).
Each immigrant to the UK, at present, is costing the UK about a million pounds over a lifetime, taking everything into account. It therefore makes sense to say “go out and stay out of the UK and we shall give you a gratuity of £50,000 [or more].” There would have to be a second, firmer statement, i.e. “return to the UK without permission, and you will be shot.”
Of course, such an offer might attract others. That posits the need for firm measures to prevent that.
We could even go further, inviting non-whites born in the UK to emigrate, and providing a similar and larger gratuity to them on that basis, maybe £200,000 in cash. Same (not some) conditions apply…
Expensive, but not so expensive as having them here.
Note: “other solutions are available”.
According to U.S. federal law, Americans are required to cover all Israeli debt.
Americans are also legally required to pay the moving expenses for any jew worldwide that decides to move to Israel.
Had this story appeared on the 1st of April, I should have assumed that it was a hoax. This country is now so screwed that it is hard at times to believe the extent of it.
In case you missed:
Britain's fertility crisis -we need to get serious before it's too latehttps://t.co/6IGXVftqjJ
The British Council is both useless and expensive. As Martin Bell pointed out many years ago, the (old) BBC World Service did “soft power” diplomacy many times better on a fraction of the budget.
The Labour Party succeeded at GE 2024 (albeit to the extent that 33.7% of voters that voted, voted Labour) not on its own merits, but because “almost everyone” (at least 9 out of every 12) wanted rid of the Conservative Party.
Now we see a similar phenomenon— the people want rid of both of the main System parties. So far, Reform is the only game in town.
"Entire BBC channels will have to be axed – why have BBC2 and BBC4?" "BBC can't have any advertising as it would hit ITV" "Subscription for radio won't work" "A household tax would be fine" (which is what Europe uses) Michael Grade on #r4today
To a large extent, Grade’s views about the BBC are wrongheaded. While I think that the time has indeed come for the BBC licence fee (tax) to go, I do not think that the BBC should simply be left to sink or swim in the commercial media world.
Grade apparently wants the BBC to get rid of BBC2 and BBC Four television, presumably to save money. To echo Margaret Thatcher, “No! No! No!” Completely wrong. BBC2 and BBC Four are the best bits of BBC TV, the bits worth keeping and, though only after reforms are executed, the bits worth subsidizing.
The obvious way to subsidize the BBC is through direct government subsidy. Critics say that that would mean the BBC becoming a government mouthpiece. Hardy ha ha. What has it been for the past ~20 years (and certainly very arguably, since the 1920s)?
We do not say that, for example, the courts cannot do their job properly and (reasonably) impartially because they are funded directly, that is from central funds.
The licence fee system is both unfair and inefficient, with large collection (and enforcement) costs. It comes down to us from the era prior to the Second World War, during that war, and immediately subsequent to it, an era when people had to have a licence to own, among other things, a radio, or a dog.
What that means to me is that both commercial and populist considerations have to take second or third place. The BBC, as or if a public service broadcaster, must have the confidence to ignore the siren voices of “is it popular?” or “is it competing with commercial mass media?“. The whole point of subsidizing the BBC is that it has no need to compete with ITV, or Sky, and no need to pander to the tastes of the uncultured.
The BBC went wrong a long long time ago. In the 1960s. The pandering to mass sports interest by coverage such as Grandstand was part of that, as was the commissioning of most BBC comedy and variety shows, and the later focus on popular dramas, and what we now term “soaps” (from the American “soap operas” sponsored by detergent companies, shows such as The Guiding Light).
Generally, it can be said that, especially during the 1970s and thereafter, there was the impetus to compete for notional “ratings” with ITV and, later —after the 1980s— Sky. Pointless and unnecessary.
My solution for the current BBC question would be to keep BBC News, BBC2 and BBC Four, though all reformed, and with a far higher cultural level on BBC2. No newsreaders (or others) getting anything over £200,000 a year in gross pay, at absolute maximum. A focus on arts, sciences, current affairs, and historical subjects.
As for radio, keep only Radio 3, Radio 4, and the BBC World Service (and return that last to its pre-1990 glory days); Radio 3 to reverse its current dumbing-down tendency, and Radio 4 to be thoroughly purged of its now-pervasive Jewish influence, suburban “wokery”, and general hostility to white Northern European life and culture.
Subsidize the above channels; get rid of, or sell off, the rest. Also, sack most of the present on-camera (and radio presenter) staff. Start with useless overpaid drones such as Gary Lineker. Lord Reith would spin in his grave to see some ignorant big-mouth of that sort paid a million a year to shoot the breeze about football (the new “opiate of the masses”).
Amusing note:
In researching for the above piece about the BBC, I happened to see something about John Logie Baird, generally considered the inventor of television (though there are also others with good claims, including Germans, Americans, Japanese and Russians: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechanical_television#Television_demonstrations). What amused me was this:
“Soon after arriving in London, looking for publicity, [John Logie] Baird visited the Daily Express newspaper to promote his invention [television]. The news editor was terrified and he was quoted by one of his staff as saying: “For God’s sake, go down to reception and get rid of a lunatic who’s down there. He says he’s got a machine for seeing by wireless! Watch him—he may have a razor on him.” [Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Logie_Baird].
True [addendum: the already-removed tweet showed Angela Rayner], but then look at the present crowd: Priti Patel, Liz Truss etc…
Come to that, look at the part-Jew, part-Levantine, chancer and bad joke presently masquerading as Prime Minister…The fact is that the whole Westminster political milieu and system is broken.
If Keir Starmer becomes Prime Minister, absolutely nothing will change, and the general decline in everything will just continue.
Savile, like others such as the Jews Greville Janner and Leon Brittan, seems to have been protected by the Jewish/Israel lobby. Savile himself as good as admitted it in a TV interview I saw not very long before his death. He said or implied that he was part-Jew (which may or may not have been true, almost certainly not), and that he had somehow helped the Israeli Embassy with confidential matters (who knows?).
Starmer, of course, is married to a Jewish woman lawyer, and their children are being brought up as if fully-Jewish. He is a member of Labour Friends of Israel.
I have no idea whether the above allegations in respect of Starmer’s role in the Savile scandal indicate that Starmer deliberately tried to protect Savile (he may have been simply incompetent, or just mistaken). Still, the matter should be investigated, if it has not already been.
“If a Minister lies to Parliament do you believe they should resign?”
Justice Secretary Dominic Raab – “it probably depends on the context”
I find it hard to believe Dominic Raab is deputy PM. He's incredibly dense, a very ordinary man who wouldn't go far in civilian life. #skynews#kayburley
Don’t blame Raab, as such. Blame the system that put him there. Blame a system that puts idiots like Michael Fabricant, Boris Johnson, Angela Rayner, Diane Abbott, Nadine Dorries, and hundreds like them, into Parliament. Not to mention the untermenschen such as Fiona Onasanya (now binned and on the dole, but others are still there).
My 9 year old's teacher asked all the kids in his class today for a show of hands on who is planning on getting the vaccine. He has asolutely no right to address young kids on their covid vaccination plans. He will be hearing from me tomorrow!

As for trade unions, like most institutions and organizations in Britain now, all but useless. Completely taken over by Common Purpose careerists and other enemies of the people.
I think most people are only watching the Australian Open to see how many athletes drop from heart attacks on the court. What are we at two now and a ballboy? But it's normal.. Right?
Good grief. The BBC is so replete with “licence”-payers’ money that it pays a scarecrow-on-a-stick nearly £300,000 a year to “work” only half the week…

Drunken Churchill, in 1940, made the famous “we shall fight on the beaches” speech, in which he said:
” We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender…”
…but of course could never have imagined that, 81 years on, most of the British people are more interested in football, TV talent shows, and dance competitions, than in “defending their island”.
Indeed, a significant minority of deluded persons actually welcome the invasion of Britain by hordes who, at best, will be useless, and at worst a mortal danger both to UK citizens and to the national heredity.
Ultimately, you can see what element is behind this warmongering in the USA and UK— the same “element” that was behind the two world wars. “They” play on existing tensions for strategic profit.
🚨| BREAKING: The MHRA has confirmed the UK has recorded 5 times more Deaths in 12 months due to C-19 jabs than it has Deaths due to every other Vacc1ne combined in 21 years, and Twatter doesn’t want you to find out…https://t.co/uNfh3yEj6D
A rare week, in which John Rentoul beat my score. This week he scored 7/10, but I scored only 5/10, a far worse effort than usual. I did not know the answers to questions 3, 6, 7, 9, and 10 (I should have known no. 7, but the mind was blank, so there it is…).
Sadly, very true, though “Left wing” (eg “socialist”) is not fully accurate, certainly not the full story. The Jew-Zionist element has a near-stranglehold, as it does over the msm. In fact, not so long ago, the fake UK “charity” known as “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA” was advertising for “volunteers” with their own Wikipedia accounts to “edit” (vandalize) Wikipedia pages.
Wikipedia is one of the best resources on the Internet, perhaps the best, which makes it all the more irritating that Jew-Zionists and others are using it to spread propaganda.
It is absurd, also, that the mainstream UK newspaper, the Daily Mail, cannot be cited as a source for anything, yet rubbish publications such as the Sun, Mirror, even Morning Star, can be! Incidentally, I have no reason to be kind to the Daily Mail, as you will see if you google “Ian Millard barrister Daily Mail”!
Perhaps @franssmith11.More likely failure to compy will prevent travel, debar you from higher education, cause problems for your children. Also, we see that the trend for the State to “outsource” things has now led to the “Boris” etc weaselling that the facemask nonsense will largely end (in law) on 19 July 2021, while at the very same time telling the public that they “should” carry on being scared facemask-wearing rabbits, and also telling —or nod-and-winking— to large supermarkets etc, and airlines, that they should effectively demand that their customers continue to be muzzled.
Screw that, and screw all companies demanding facemask use! Rebel any way you can, especially by boycotting those companies. Vote with your feet, and with your wallet or purse!

Not exactly, @policy_uk. Rather ore that, having spent my childhood in an indebted rather grey and resource-poor country which had to count every penny, public and private, I must either now accept that this was not necessary, or fear we are in for a repeat of it. https://t.co/iHaFIkLZp3
After 2008, “austerity” (which was the policy not only of the part-Jews David Cameron-Levita and George Osborne but also of Gordon Brown and Alastair Darling), was completely wrongheaded. Now, though, we see almost the opposite —but skewed— policy of vast sums spent, not on useful infrastructure, nor on real education and upskilling, but on schemes over the past 19 months to keep the population at home, eating delivered junk food, drinking heavily, and watching TV.

These people should be on our side! When I lived in Kazakhstan (1996-97), I knew several former Russian VDV (Air Descent Contingent…special forces) people. Very solid people.
(and in most of the USA, minimum-wage workers cannot afford even a one-bed apartment!).
The same or similar problem exists in the UK. Topping-up pay via Universal Credit is quite wrong; it subsidizes poor-paying-employers vis a vis employers who pay decently. Pay must be sufficient to live on. A measure of State-paid Basic Income will also have to come into existence, because the nexus between pay and work is very loose now, and many do not have paid work at all.
Stonehouse was a sensation when exposed as a fraud who had not died, as everyone thought, in 1974, in the sea off Miami Beach (a rather unlikely place to drown anyway). His espionage for socialist Czechoslovakia was not exposed —to the public— until well after his death.
That was an age when politicians, though hardly honoured, were still regarded as basically straight people. The later tidal wave of mediocre and hopeless idiots had not yet filled the Commons. That was another reason why people were fascinated by Stonehouse’s attempted (and very nearly successful) scam.
Other reasons why l’affaire Stonehouse became a sensation, briefly, were because it coincided with that Reginald Perrin TV comedy series, and also because a few other cases of international (British) fugitives had been news for years, notably that of Ronnie Biggs [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronnie_Biggs].
I recall that, when I had to visit the British High Commission in Gaborone, Botswana, in 1977, at age 20, I noticed a small golden plaque by the entrance stating that it had been officially opened by John Stonehouse in 1966, when he had been a minister in the Colonial Office and its successor, the short-lived Commonwealth Office (from 1968, joined with the Foreign Office in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office).
Strange to see that inscription, nearly three years after Stonehouse’s disgrace (but history is history, something both the “BLM” idiots and Zionist Jews might note).
The Daily Mail piece also contained the assertion that one Ernest Fernyhough, PPS to Prime Minister Harold Wilson, had also been (one of a number of Labour MPs) spying for the Czech StB (external intelligence organization). His treachery is new to me, and I see that Wikipedia does not mention it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_Fernyhough.
I imagine that Stonehouse, who was a bit of a Casanova, and a gambler generally, might have been a fairly useful agent for Czech Intelligence, willing to take calculated risks.
As to the book, to be released on 22 July 2021, I might buy the hardback edition via Amazon when it is put on secondhand sale in a few months. RRP is £25.99, but the book can be bought at £18.99. Maybe when there are good, or as-new, used copies for £2 or so. Or, if you like, “when you get down to 90 kopecks, wake me up again”.
Despite that Daily Mail piece having been interestingly written, it contained one schoolboy error by the author (of both the book and the article): speaking in the strict legal sense, Stonehouse did not commit, as the writer claims, “treason”; his alleged espionage crimes would have been charged, had he been charged, under the Official Secrets Act(s) [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Official_Secrets_Act#United_Kingdom].
What a co-incidence! The new Secretary of State for Health, and also the person posing as PM, are apparently both now “self-isolating”. Of course, that has nothing to do with 19 July 2021, the day after tomorrow, and the (latest, so-called) “Freedom Day”…

Late music
Last word tonight
Listening to BBC World Service and, once again, appalled by the poor standards now, as compared to the 1970s and 1980s, when I was a regular listener. Then, mostly interesting and erudite programming, and including some entertainment, of which some even entertained me. Now, endless black “music” or other ghastly trash, and “BLM”-style nonsense propaganda. 90% of the output now is rubbish.
According to BBC Radio 4 News yesterday, one person died in the preceding 24 hours in the UK “within 28 days of a positive Covid test”. That one person may have died of anything, even in a car crash. One person out of about 65 MILLION inhabitants of the UK.
Despite the effective disappearance of “Covid-19” as a cause of death, despite the obviously inflated statistics over the past 16 months, the Government of Clowns is still not only keeping to its propaganda line about the “necessity” for having shut down much of the UK for most of the past 16 months, but is also still insisting on its ludicrous “rules”, regulations, laws (possibly invalid) etc, and is now even saying that the facemask nonsense may continue throughout the summer, or beyond!
BBC World Service
I have written before about the sad state of BBC World Service, which has largely become a “Black Lives Matter” service (when not a “holocaust” story service). I have now just heard (again…about the fourth time in the past year) on the World Service about the anti-black riot in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921. A black “pastor” of some kind tells the BBC interviewer that “it is still not illegal to lynch a black man in the USA“!
Incredibly (?), that nonsense was not challenged, not even slightly, not even politely, by the BBC idiot, who sounded almost reverential. In fact, the black “religious” went on to explain that what he meant was that to lynch a black man is not a Federal crime! It is a State crime (murder) in all 50 states of the USA, and might result in a sentence of death, or life imprisonment, but that is apparently not enough!
What I did not enjoy was the fact that every single ad in the ad breaks contained either only blacks, or blacks and mixed-race persons (with the odd white person here and there). There were no ads containing only English (white) people. This is not “reflecting reality” but an attempt to create a new “reality”, that in fact is not reality in a country where 80% of the population is still white, and where the actual more or less black (Afro-Caribbean) population is only about 4% (officially at least) so far.
An allied (though minor) propaganda effort is the constant use in the msm of the word “actor” for a female thespian, when the correct word would be “actress“. In other countries (except the USA and a few others), this would be considered ridiculous. Certainly in Russia. What I do not understand is why the harmless descriptive word “actress” has become unacceptable (in the msm, though the general population has not been convinced). Just one more attack on the roots of society, I suppose…

Alison Chabloz
Latest information, as yet unconfirmed, is that the Crown have applied to the Court for an adjournment of Alison’s appeal to Crown Court against conviction and sentence. It appears that the reason given is an overrun on the trial on which Counsel instructed for the Crown in Alison’s case is presently engaged.
From information sent to me (unconfirmed) it seems that Alison has not objected to the adjournment application. On that basis, it seems likely that the appeal dates (3-4 June 2021) will be vacated, and the matter taken out of the list.
I do not know when (or even if) Alison’s appeal will be heard now. Assuming that she does not abandon the appeal, and assuming also that the Crown does not abandon its response to that appeal, I should imagine that the appeal would be heard quite some time in the future (perhaps September), in view of the fact that Alison has finished the custodial part of her sentence (unless recalled to prison for some reason), and in view of the present backlog in the Crown Court.
I heard, on the radio, a weasel from the Israeli Defence Force [IDF] saying how moral and ethical the Israelis are, because before they drop bombs or attack with missiles a residential apartment building, the Jews drop a lesser bomb on it as a “warning”, and sometimes drop leaflets etc in a “get out now” threat. For the Jew, that apparently made it OK…No thought that most of the residents of such a building were uninvolved civilians: families, children, companion animals etc. The Israeli Jews mix brutality and hypocrisy in a most unpleasant way.
BBC World Service
Heard a couple of other reports. The first was a laughably-poor one about repatriation of historical artefacts and so on. The BBC presenter, a black man from London (but from a family background in what is now Zambia) admitted that, prior to the programme, he had never heard of the Elgin Marbles! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elgin_Marbles
[the Elgin Marbles, British Museum, London]
Incidentally, the presentation of the Marbles at the British Museum looks more aesthetically-pleasing than when I was last there nearly 30 years ago. Maybe my memory is at fault, though.
On the same BBC World Service show, another African made the point that the wealth of what is now Zambia, the mineral wealth mainly, was “plundered” by the British, without which “plunder” the “Zambians” (i.e. the Africans then living there and their descendants) would have been able to develop a better, more prosperous (etc) society. Ha ha! What nonsense! For one thing, the Africans had no idea of how to mine, refine, or use the product of all that. They did not have any idea that there was anything useful under the ground on which they walked.
The other BBC World Service feature was about a cafe in Innsbruck called Cafe Schindler, once owned by Jews who were bought out (at an undervalue, supposedly) in 1938, after the plebiscite and Anschluss that joined Austria to Germany . They decamped to London.
The granddaughter of the 1930s owner (which owner established or bought the cafe in 1922) has researched her family history extensively. She discovered that her father, who was a fraudulent Jew businessman, and who had said that he had been beaten up in Innsbruck in 1938 by “Nazis”, had in reality been living in London by then (aged 12). In other words, he had told “porkies”…not very kosher!
Apparently, the woman’s father found that a fake “holocaust” connection was a good excuse (in both London and Austria) against allegations of business fraud in the 1960s and 1970s, though he was eventually imprisoned in England. His daughter claimed that one of the reasons why her father never paid his business creditors was because he spent all his money or much of it on lawyers, trying to get “restitution” for value allegedly taken by (yes, you guessed it) “the Nazis”.
Apparently, in the 1960s or 1970s, her father also demanded (and received) non-existent arrears of “rent” for the seven years from 1938 to 1945 from the National Socialist, Franz Hofer [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Hofer], who had bought the Cafe Schindler in 1938, and who had turned it into a favourite place for the Innsbruck National Socialists. The “rent” was paid to the Jew by Hofer (who may have been unwell and who died in 1975) “unofficially”, in cash. A form of blackmail, really.
The cafe still exists, under a similar name.
An interesting feature, that made me laugh, was that the presenter seemed to take some of the assertions made as truthful, despite having been made by a Jewish business cheat whose own daughter admits he was a fraudster and serial liar. In fact, I found the daughter’s account rather naive in places, as when she said that her family had to sell in 1938 in order to avoid “being shipped off to Poland“. Well, Germany only invaded Poland in 1939, so…
I am ideologically far from Matthew Parris, but I notice that many of the points in his article have been made by me in my blogging of past days, months, and years. My conclusions are not exactly the same, however…
Both Conservative and Labour parties are now incompetent fakes.

Rather poor from a well-known journalist. Guderian [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinz_Guderian] was a German officer who was not, however, a member of the NSDAP (National Socialist party). In fact, most German officers were not NSDAP members, though about a third of junior officers were, by 1945.
Hitchens, despite making equivalence between the Reich and the Soviet Union, always seems to me to have more genuine animus against the German Reich, possibly (I speculate) because of his own part-Jewish background [see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/05/19/peter-hitchens-and-his-views/].
This must be a first. At almost any time in the near or historical past, a “British” Prime Minister who had handed down against him a County Court money judgment would probably have been forced to resign. It would certainly have been a huge embarrassment. Now? So unworried is the part-Jew chancer now posing as Prime Minister that he has just ignored it for six months!
As I have blogged previously, Boris-idiot has weaponized his own incompetence and sleaze. Almost nothing that he does, or fails to do, counts against him, because the public simply do not expect correct or even ordinarily decent behaviour from “Boris”.

2/2 @spy_historian Halifax and Chamberlain no doubt imagined that the war would be a repeat of 1914, static fronts held by the mighty French, plus a blockade crippling the German economy. By the time Stalin torpedoed that, it was too late to pull out. https://t.co/m91v8gaFhm
1/2 @spy_historian . This is clearly your opinion, but anyone who wanted to avoid war would not have made the Polish guarantee. The Polish guarantee made war inevitable *unless* Poland made a side-deal with Berlin, something London plainly did not desire. https://t.co/m91v8gaFhm
3/3 Britain had no previous alliance with Poland. Britain was not, historically, unsympathetic to the German position on Danzig. Britain knew it could not in fact aid Poland if war came (and did not do so). So why the Guarantee? @spy_historianhttps://t.co/9YwSgxCACR
My answer to the rhetorical question posed by Hitchens is that the Jews (primarily in the sense of “international Jewry” or “the Zionists’ leaders”) wanted war, to destroy Hitler and National Socialism. In Britain, in its ruling circles, there was a “War Party” fronted by Churchill, paid for secretly by the Jews, and that “War Party” included leading civil servants such as Vansittart [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Vansittart,_1st_Baron_Vansittart] and leading System politicians, such as not only Churchill but also Duff Cooper and others [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duff_Cooper].
Out of 150,000+ tweets and retweets posted over a number of years, and about 100 complained of by those Jews, a mere 7 (SEVEN!) were thought to be “grossly offensive” by the BSB and so formed the basis for the quasi-trial (Bar Disciplinary Tribunal hearing) in October 2016.
In fact, the allegedly offensive tweets were reduced in number at hearing to only 5 (FIVE). Out of 150,000+…Over 6 years of Twitter membership.
My point here is other, to wit that my tweets, all general comments about society and politics, were true in all particulars. One, at which the Tribunal took particular offence, was that Michael Gove [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Gove] was “a pro-Israel, pro-Jew expenses cheat“. That was deemed “grossly offensive” despite the fact that the facts alleged by me were, in fact, facts.
In other words, I was condemned for having tweeted the truth. Where is the greater offence, the crimes or defaults of a politician, or the tweets posted and which commented on those defaults?
I might add that, in 2016, the general public was not aware (neither was I) that snivelling Jewish-lobby puppet Gove was (is?) also a regular cocaine abuser.
The other four tweets which sank me at Tribunal were also all true…
Truth is often no defence in the public-private politically correct and Zionist-dominated police state of 2020 Britain.
They thought they couldn’t get away with Maoist repression in Europe. But then they found they could. Shame on all those who should have defended our ancient hard-won liberty. pic.twitter.com/PVRRXA3UrG
What should be done with Professor Ferguson and others?
If truth be known, both The NHS and the Ambulance Service have been "in crisis" for years, mainly because they are so badly run. All credit to the staff for doing as well as they do with such diabolical management and stupid targets.
In your humble opinion @tonyfle14111958 I enjoy your bilious, single minded hatred of me, but give thanks, as I do so, for the remaining vestiges of the rule of law. https://t.co/VIb6SAMO1j
There is a lot of hostile reporting of Sweden @Ashtfe, and I urge everyone to read it with great care. Some people, it seems, long for law and freedom to fail. https://t.co/NHLaGjR87l
I agree about the insurance @cancelledxxx, and would say the same for car drivers, increasing numbers of whom are untaxed, unlicensed and uninsured. Not to mention drunk, drugged or texting. Time to restore police traffic patrols. https://t.co/uLZVgN3MHo
2/2 @janeycmj Riding a bike is dangerous, But forcing riders to wear feeble styrofoam bowls on their heads is not the solution. Enforcing the laws against texting while driving, or driving while drunk or drugged, would save far more lives, cyclists included. No sign of that. https://t.co/Ff1AgVObRL
Thank you @chrisadelaide. I suspect I ride much more slowly than you. One interesting statistic is the *tiny* number of fatalities so far among users of the (slow and heavy) London hire bikes, despite tangling with London traffic. https://t.co/pGQdhDyxNf
Bicycle riders are a nuisance, especially in the semi-rural English coastal area where I live; dark clothing, often no lights, usually no street lighting. Having said that, car drivers are often very negligent too.
My own niece, an Australian citizen working temporarily in West London, was knocked off her pushbike early in the year, and was lucky not to have been badly injured. The “accident” happened at an intersection where she had the right of way. The driver briefly stopped , then sped off. The police (who could have seized cctv evidence from nearby businesses, but did not), were useless. The hit-and-run driver, probably a non-European, has never been traced, identified, or punished.
I agree with Hitchens on the liberty point (not to have to wear helmets) but it is true that many have lost their lives by reason of not having been wearing helmets.
Ig told me that his nephew had suddenly fallen down at home (in the Caversham Park suburb close to the monitoring station; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caversham_Park_Village); he later died. Ig was (unwarrantedly) suspicious of the nephew’s girlfriend, with whom the deceased had recently had a child; mother and baby also lived in the house.
Ig seemed to think that the young woman, a Ukrainian in her twenties, might have had a drunken argument with the nephew, and hit him with something. There had been a head injury, but the police were not treating it as suspicious.
Having heard of the deceased nephew (and having once briefly met him in London, several years before these events), I was aware that he was a fairly heavy drinker. On the night of the death he had apparently taken a fairly considerable amount of drink at the bar within the monitoring centre.
Anyway, I attended the inquest held in Reading, though only as observer (I was at the time not yet Called to the Bar). Ig had instructed Counsel, a fairly confident young woman whose name escapes me but who made a career at the Bar (I used to see her around the Inns in later years).
The inquest was a rather sad waste of time, as many are. The trail seemed to have gone cold.
However, some weeks after that, the report of the inquest, printed in the local newspaper, brought forth a bus driver who declared that he had been driving his bus one evening when a cyclist, not stopping where a cycle path met the road, and the man not wearing a helmet, had shot across in front of the bus, which had stopped short; the cyclist had, despite not having been struck, fallen off onto the road. He had been helped up, and had continued on his way, obviously somewhat the worse for drink.
So there it was. No espionage connection, no drunken domestic argument and assault, just a somewhat intoxicated man who fell off a pushbike and was not wearing a safety helmet. His choice, his accident, his death.
3/3 @ianguth07700494 Unthinking claims in favour of helmets could be used to impose a helmet law, which would greatly reduce cycling and so diminish its huge health benefits to those who decide not to bother if such laws are introduced. https://t.co/xfjHy6mbs1

Had two relatively rare pleasures, one being traditional fish and chips, the other being a glass or so of Royal Tokay. The fish and chips was the first I had had for months, the Tokay (5 putts.) the first for at least 10 years. Both very pleasant.
At the same time, I saw University Challenge, another alumni match (Durham and Downing College, Cambridge). As on previous occasions, I did better than both teams. In a sense, that pleases me, but in another sense it displeases me (that highly-paid and respected broadcasters, scribblers and others are so damned ignorant in this country!).

BBC World Service
Woke up to some interminable BBC World Service Outlook programme, based around a black girl with sickle cell anaemia. Next up was something called Witness History, which might have been better entitled Witless History. Basically, more anti-white, anti-European propaganda, this time based around the history of UNESCO, and featuring an angry, shouting UN career “diplomat” from Senegal.
The World Service continues to be very poor.

Ukraine
As Peter Hitchens has written, Ukraine has been at the centre of many of the conflicts of the past century. Bolshevism, the White Guard, the Russian Civil War, Collectivization, Lebensraum, the war of 1941-45 etc.
During the Second World War, many Ukrainians supported the German invasion, as they had the German anti-Bolshevik occupation after the First World War.
Now we have a situation which has developed from that where the old Soviet Union collapsed and, understandably, after 70 years of Sovietism and/or war, many Ukrainians felt that they would be better off independent of Russia, an aim of many since the 19th Century.
Sadly, many of the hopes of the Ukrainians were dashed in the 1990s and thereafter. Corruption, poverty, gangsterism, and a wave of Jewish carpetbaggers arriving from the USA and elsewhere. I even saw that some Jewess from Maida Vale (the area of London where I spent most time over the years) had bought a confectionery factory there!
Now, Ukraine’s President, Prime Minister, and other top figures are Jews! One is even a Israeli citizen!
Ukraine was the germ of Russia itself. The Vikings, or “Varangians” as they are known in Russia, sailed down the great rivers of that part of the world (Don, Dniepr, Volga etc) and founded Kievan Rus, which is where Russia began, along with Novgorod: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kievan_Rus%27.
[Nikolai Roerich: Guests from Overseas]
Ukraine and Russia have always developed together. Not always in great harmony, but always together. That partnership is now fragile and under attack.
The Crimea was placed administratively under the control of the Soviet republic of Ukraine in 1954: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimea. The population, though, is mainly Russian (65%; Ukrainians 15%; Crimean Tartars 10%; others 10%).
The Russian reassertion of sovereignty in 2014 was opposed by “the West” (NWO), which since then has completely taken over “independent” Ukraine and is building a great naval base on territory controlled by the Kiev government.
As Peter Hitchens says, these “NATO” (NWO) incursions are a direct threat to Russia, to its integrity and future. As Hitchens notes, imagine what would happen if the Russians did something similar in the Gulf of Mexico…
We may be looking here at the genesis of World War Three. At the same time, “NATO” forces are engaged in military exercises both in Ukraine and in the Baltic states.
Without Ukraine at least as neutral, Russia, as a near-superpower, is no longer in existence. Indeed, it would be not very viable, long-term, as a state at all, especially looking at the slow infiltration of Chinese influence in the Eastern part of Siberia (the former Soviet Far East).
[“Russia does not have borders; it is wherever there are Russian people”]
Russia may be relatively poor compared to the USA and the EU, but it has both nuclear and non-nuclear forces which can match the “West”. Yes, the USA can destroy Russian cities and bases ten times over, and it is not known for sure whether the Russians can destroy the similar American targets ten times over, five times, or only once! Is there any difference?
In fact, were, say, New York, Washington DC, Seattle, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Boston to be destroyed, would the USA even be able to function? Would it take 10 years to recover? 50? 100?
Population replacement isn't simply about changing the skin colour of the West; it's about downgrading the intelligence, aspirations, values and morality of the people. It's about rewriting the entire history of a civilisation for the benefit of a tiny, hostile clique.#ProWhite
All it takes is a couple far left activists to lie about you online and even a 'conservative' bank who also gets called the same names, will fold. Pathetic. There isn't one corporation with a backbone in this country.
A very important tweet. Had I the money, I would buy a country estate. I notice, incidentally, that the supply of such estates in the UK has lessened in the past couple of years. The wealthy are trying to buy lifeboats…

Either these hospitals were a great and necessary achievement in April, or they were not. Either our normal hospitals now face so much overload that they are still needed, or they do not. What is the truth? https://t.co/JFc4POlfRi
Self-imagined hardman Hancock poses at a much-publicised Nightingale Hospital at the beginning of our State of Siege in the Spring (it was barely used then). Now, despite a supposedly deadly second wave, this costly, vaunted facility has been dismantled. Have we been had? https://t.co/5Vnv1Mdr0I
Quite. I thought, earlier in 2020, that to create new hospitals was a great achievement even bearing in mind their limited aims and equipment etc, but now I wonder whether those “Nightingale Hospitals” were just part of a propaganda “big lie”…
Just as the most enthusiastic supporters of mass media and social media censorship now are those who, in the past, would have fought for liberty: journalists, MPs, published authors etc.
The Jewish influence in society (and especially in the mass media and the legal profession) is a large part of all this.
Even Sky News just admitted that UK hospitals this winter have fewer patients than any of the last 5 winters. Covid has replaced flu (not least because the tests cannot differentiate) & staff shortages are being made worse by self-isolation rules, but there is no #CoronaCrisis.
Lest we forget: '[We thought] we couldn't get away with it in Europe' are strange and disturbing words for a public servant to use . https://t.co/2kaqGZsvID
The tsunami of debt and destitution coming our way as a result of lockdowns will ultimately reveal the futility of attempting to legislate against a seasonal respiratory virus.
The demographics favour the Democrats and Biden, but I would not necessarily write off Trump, whose own “virus” experience obviously bolsters his own views on the Coronavirus generally. It might be objected that everyone is different etc, but fact is, Trump is 74, in a poor state of health and fitness, yet has recovered in days and having had only minor treatment.
Most people are predicting a win for Biden, and for all I know they may be right, but I wonder whether that really will be the result. Still, whichever candidate wins, (((they))) will win…
John Tyler was already 46 years old when the Battle of The Alamo occurred, in 1836. He became U.S. President at the age of 50, in 1841.
Imagine that…someone whose grandfather was born in 1790, during the reign of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, and only months after the French Revolution and the Storming of the Bastille, has only just died! To me, it’s almost incredible. My own (maternal) grandfather was born in 1901.
For all that, in some respects the USA gives an old impression, one lacking in youthfulness. Its personification, after all, is an old man, “Uncle Sam”.
BBC World Service
I occasionally remind people, who perhaps never heard the BBC World Service in its 1970s/1980s heyday, how good it was, and how rubbish it now is. Last night, they had some spiteful-sounding black girl talking rubbish about the 1977 “battle” in Lewisham, London: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Lewisham
Biased throughout, the 15-30 minute piece never attempted to give a balanced view, or any perspective. There was one main interviewee, a black man who was an “antifascist” activist at the time. Poor.
Never go back
They say “never go back“. Usually that is good advice. It can be disturbing to see again places once known, and even loved, changed. That can be so even when the changes have improved the place in question. All the same, there is a strange fascination in seeing again places you once knew well. Google Earth can be addictive in this regard. It is a peculiar feeling to see just how quickly the world changes. In 20, 30, 40, 50 years, an area can change out of all recognition. Fascinating but unsettling.

The problem with UK politics is the tribalism. People believe the Tories are conservative and Labour represents the working class. As you have pointed out for years, Mr H, they couldn't be more wrong.
1/3 @atjaardstra. You are mistaken. I point out that Japan did not strangle its economy, yet had many fewer deaths than us, so challenging the connection the ill-informed assume exists between shutdowns and saving lives. https://t.co/ynShblGIRy
2/3 @atjaardstra. Your second error is your equally lazy assumption that mask wearing in Japan is the proven cause of lower deaths in a country where old people happen to a lot healthier than they are in N. America or W.Europe. https://t.co/ynShblGIRy
Well, isn’t that interesting? No doubt a…co-incidence(?). All the same, it would tend to support the idea that “Covid-19” was created for a purpose, a purpose connected with the “Great Reset”…

I should think so @Francis_Hoar. Since it turned into an establishment rag and dumped its decent radical past, the Guardian has become quite a distressing spectacle. https://t.co/HNuLDsN8Pi
The BBC too. Its output is now of incredibly low quality, something most obvious on the BBC News on television. Endless “interviews” on Skype with boring and usually non-white persons, very little foreign news and that mostly of little depth, or even casual interest. Without the “licence fee” (enforced tax), the BBC would just go out of business. The “licence fee” protects it, enables it to pay ex-footballers a million or two a year, newsreaders half a million a year and many others £300,000, £200,000 or whatever. No wonder most are unwilling to rock the boat by standing up for the future of European humanity!
I doubt it very much @johnwil57255704. Listen to our supposed leaders talk, and you see shallow banality and unconscious ignorance, always on display. https://t.co/JjlDIhwm02
An annoying early-morning start to the day, waking up not far past the middle of the night to typical rubbish on the BBC World Service. A programme called United Zingdom, in which what sounded like two Welsh women (one certainly was, being one Lisa Angharad) got together to trash England, the UK, and the British people. One of them apparently has a Singapore passport as well as a British one.
Everything, it seems, is the fault of “the British” (English). They, the English, are basically nasty, “racist” etc. They should not want their own country, language, customs, population. Now Wales, Wales is different! It (apparently) should have its own language etc. The bias and sheer untruth in that little broadcast was incredible.
The woman with the Singapore passport was asked about whether she would prefer to live there and seemed to affirm, though she said that “but they have anti-gay laws there…”, which apparently was a drawback. She then added “…but the British brought those to Singapore“. Ah, so once more the British (and failing that, no doubt any other white Northern Europeans) were to blame! I should have guessed. The other woman then chimed in with “ah, the British again“. Why are we paying (forced to pay) the BBC so that it can pay bitches like that to spout anti-British propaganda?
They should have added that, until the British arrived on the island of Singapore, there was nothing there at all, and had not been for at least 200 years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Singapore
Another couple of deliberate inaccuracies: we were told that the Welsh language is vibrant and becoming more spoken, and that there is “a huge upsurge” in Welsh nationalism.
Language: I myself know from experience in the 1980s that Welsh is naturally a first language in some areas, in West Wales especially. It seems however that less than a quarter of the Welsh population as a whole speak Welsh to any useable standard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_language
Welsh nationalism: Plaid Cymru is only nominally “nationalist” anyway, willing to have people in Wales “whatever their race, nationality, gender, colour, creed [etc]” [Plaid Cymru platform].
Plaid Cymru controls only one local council in Wales (out of dozens). It also has 4 out of 40 Westminster MPs (a figure unchanged or not much changed since the 1970s), and in the last (and final) EU elections had elected 1 MEP out of 4 (their best result was in 1999, 2 out of 5).
Conclusion: there is no upsurge of Welsh “nationalism”, let alone a huge one.
The trashing of the World Service has been one of the saddest things over the past 30 years. It was once interesting, lively, truthful, stimulating. 1970s and 1980s. Now, it cannot even seem to be able to tell the time clearly! The World Service seemed to go into a kind of spiral of decline in the 1990s. A Jewish woman whose name I forget was on constantly, and —quelle surprise— obsessed on air about “holocaust” and “Nazis” almost nonstop.
The decline of BBC World Service continued, reaching (I hope) the bottom round about 2010. In the past year or two, there has been a slight improvement, but only slight. There are still only a few worthwhile programmes, the best being The Forum, especially when presented by Bridget Kendall: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/w3cszjvchttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridget_Kendall.
Martin Bell, the famous broadcaster, journalist and one-term MP [Independent, Tatton] made the point several times that, in dangerous parts of the world (Iraq, Bosnia etc) people know the BBC World Service, yet the World Service is funded on a shoestring compared to rather useless projects such as the British Council [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Council]
I really value the BBC World Service, which is precisely why I despise what it has largely become. As Nietzsche wrote: “the great despisers are also the great reverers” [Friedrich Nietzsche, Also Sprach Zarathustra].

I’m so sick of this ‘The British People’ nonsense. It’s inflammatory and divisive and also errant vacuous nonsense with no meaning in a multi-party democracy. The phrase should be banned from political discourse. https://t.co/zVW56W5qlZ
Here we see science popularizer Professor Brian Cox putting forward, yet again, his tendentious political views. The sort of person all too common in the UK, meaning someone who wants the country to become even more of a multikulti dustbin. After all, “I’m all right, Jack”.
There are two types of scientist: the ones doing serious research and perhaps making real and even great discoveries or leaps forward; then there are the others, who are basically popular in the mass media, write books popular with the public, are on TV frequently, rack up official honours (and plenty of money) for all that. Nuff said…
Cox is a good example of the “clever person” (not infrequently someone of scientific background) who has come to think that he is a good deal more clever than he is and who, at least when out of his specialist area or areas, is rather silly.
Incidentally, he presumably meant to say “arrant nonsense“, not “errant nonsense“…
they are criminals trying to break in to our country illegally. We shouldn't be saving these people at all. They could stay in France and have zero need to come here apart from to fleece our country.
I fancy a nice house on the beach in either Africa or Asia. I'll admit, government benefits would do nicely too, along with free education & health care. Guaranteed sunshine. Do you think the natives would accept me & my white arsed family when we pitch up?
There are huge numbers of bien-pensant idiots in the UK, who love to think of themselves as kind, compassionate, generous etc, as they virtue-signal on Twitter and elsewhere. The famous or infamous ones, such as Yvette Cooper, Lily Allen, Gary Lineker etc are only the tip of the iceberg. Below their capital, income, and public-recognition levels, there are thousands, perhaps even millions of others.
I hesitate to say that none of those people, the “refugees welcome” dimwits, would ever accommodate migrant-invaders in their own homes. A few of the brainwashed and obscure ones might, just as, out of tens of millions, a very few people swim the Channel (to France, usually!), or learn to speak 10 languages fluently.
I met a man once who worked near Elephant and Castle, London, and who could speak, not 10 languages, admittedly, but certainly 8 languages fluently, and those languages did include some of the near-“impossible” ones, such as Finnish and Hungarian.
Such people are rare. They are not the general run. Most of the “refugees welcome” dimwits want the State and/or other people (which is all the State is, in the end) to house and feed those migrant-invaders, and to educate the children of the invaders. The dimwits prioritize the invaders over English/British people such as the ex-soldiers sleeping on the streets, or the middle-aged Brits struggling to survive after the (basically Jewish-influenced) “austerity” of 2010-2020 and the socio-economic upheavals which have occurred and those which lie ahead.
I thought that Richard Tice, 2-i-c of Brexit Party, had been nominated for a peerage; apparently not. Claire Fox has, though. What a strange nomination that is.
I first saw Claire Fox [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claire_Fox] on TV about a decade ago. I think that it was on Newsnight. Or Daily Politics. I think the former. She was supposedly the head of something called The Institute of Ideas. I was curious enough to look it up via Internet. There was not much to see. The “Institute” seemed to consist mainly of Claire Fox, and (I found out after a while) seemed to be funded mainly by a City of London hedge fund speculator Jew, whose name I cannot at present recall.
As for Claire Fox herself, as seen on TV, she was not at all impressive, not convincing; there was something fake about her and her “Institute”, even before I started to look into it.
I found the “Institute of Ideas” to be little more than a facade; indeed, little more than a catchy name. I was unable to discover much about it. The whole thing seemed opaque, insubstantial. One could not grasp hold of it.
I see now that others, such as the journalist and TV news presenter, Jon Snow, had similar problems:
” The news broadcaster Jon Snow, according to a Guardian article, withdrew from an event to which he had been invited by the Royal Society of Arts after realising the IoI’s involvement. Snow felt there was a lack of transparency. ‘I didn’t have a clear idea of who they were,’ he said. This lack of transparency affects almost every aspect of IoI events, as the article notes: ‘From the platforms and the floor, the LM [Living Marxism] line is assiduously promoted by the magazine’s supporters and contributors – often without clear attribution of their affiliations.’ ” [Lobbywatch] http://www.lobbywatch.org/profile1.asp?PrId=142]
It seems that the “Institute” was founded in 2000 by Fiona Fox, sister of Claire Fox, and other undisclosed persons. Fiona Fox also heads the Science Media Centre [http://www.lobbywatch.org/profile1.asp?PrId=121], which is embedded within the very Establishment scientific body, the Royal Institution [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Institution]. Another sister, Gemma Fox, heads an EU-funded IT organization in Wales.
Another fairly high-profile person connected with the above is Frank Furedi, a person of Hungarian origins, frequently on BBC radio [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Furedi], whose wife is the head of the UK’s largest abortion “advice” organization.
Some of the tweets of Spiked can command my support, many cannot, such as this pitiful article:
Hiroshima was an experiment in extermination. The West viewed the Japanese as racially distinct and inferior. Sadly, this kind of racial thinking has returned with a vengeance. We must say loud and clear: there is only one human race, says @MsDinglehttps://t.co/vKTf4MrWc1
Taking just the main contention of that article, the Anglo-American atom-bomb project aka the Manhattan Project or Tube Alloys [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhattan_Project; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tube_Alloys] had as its primary aim the destruction of Germany and the German people, not Japan. Most of the scientists of importance were Jews. They hated Germany and National Socialism. Some were also Communists. Germany was only saved from atomic destruction by its unconditional surrender before the bomb was ready to be used.
The above exploration may or may not be interesting, but what interests me now and particularly is why did Boris-idiot (Boris Johnson) nominate Claire Fox for a peerage? Why?
Claire Fox has no real academic pedigree. Even in the 1980s (i.e. before the start of the present “award inflation”, by which almost all students get a supposed “First” or “Upper Second” degree), a 2:2 in English and American Literature scarcely cut it in the academic world! She was a mental health social worker for some years after graduation, then for 10 years a lecturer in English Literature at a couple of technical colleges in South Essex and in South Hertfordshire.
I think that we can be sure that Claire Fox’s peerage nomination was not for “services to education”!
We have already seen that, as a “think tank”, the “Institute of Ideas” scarcely existed. Even as an active lobby group, its activities do not seem to have had much impact. Claire Fox, despite a few appearances on TV, including the —now very outdated— Question Time, was not until recently (until 2019) a very publicly-known person; neither has she been involved with anything normally likely to attract an honour of any sort, let alone a peerage.
What about Claire Fox’s political life? Well, membership of the Revolutionary Communist Party or anything like it has never been an easy route to the House of Lords! Anyone with similar views who ended up with a peerage at least had to pretend to be “Labour”! I cannot think of many, even so. A few Jews, now long gone, perhaps. As for a “revolutionary communist”, even one now sort-of apostate, being ennobled “on the recommendation of” a Conservative Party Prime Minister would have been unthinkable, until now.
Claire Fox joined Nigel Farage’s pop-up “Brexit Party” in 2019, was selected (along with at least two other “former” Revolutionary Communist Party members) as a candidate for the European elections. She was elected, and was an MEP for about a year, until the UK nominally left the EU. One year…
It goes beyond that. Claire Fox has said things that many consider unforgiveable, such as, and in particular, her championing of IRA bombing in 1993, specifically the killing of a child.
Looking at it all, it seems inconceivable that, even a few years ago, or today, such a person could ever be nominated for a peerage, to become one of the UK’s upper house legislators, even bearing in mind the weird collection now in the Lords. Yet there she sits (soon). In fact, her previous (never reversed) support for the IRA has not stood in her way. Even the Sun “newspaper” has her on its YouTube channel!
Not that I disagree with everything she says. I agree with some of what she is saying in the above clip. [Having now —several hours later— seen all of the interview, I concede that I agree with a good deal of what she says in it].
So why was she given (nomination for) a peerage? I cannot entirely work it out, but it is obviously connected with her work for Brexit, and even more so with the standing down of most Brexit Party candidates while the election campaign was ongoing. A stunning act of betrayal by con-man Nigel Farage. He shot his own party in the neck. Or the back. Moreover, he stood down only candidates facing previously-incumbent or new Conservative Party candidates! Including Conservative Party candidates who were Remain supporters!
Nigel Farage ensured that the Conservative Party won the 2019 General Election. It might have won anyway, but might not have done, and certainly would not have achieved a Commons majority of 80 (or any majority).
If I am correct, and Claire Fox has been somehow rewarded for supporting Farage in his betrayal, why has Farage himself (or his 2-i-c, Tice), not been nominated for the House of Lords? There could be a number of reasons, such as (speculating) that Farage has been paid, as his reward, millions of pounds into an offshore secret account. Why not? I have no evidence that that is the case, but it seems not unlikely to me. £10 million? £20 million? Cheap at the price, when you get the UK in exchange…
Anyway, “the night is young”. Farage still might get a peerage from Boris-idiot; next year, or the year after. Tice too, maybe. Maybe Claire Fox getting one now is in the nature of a “statement of intent” or down-payment to Farage. Maybe giving Farage a peerage right now would make the corruption and betrayal just too obvious. Next year? 2022? Maybe.
The present politics of the System is more than sleazy. It has to be exterminated.

A must read. Gosh, this virus has brought out the inner nasty in so many. Sad. https://t.co/2ISqJBAOEJ
I went to a university, not a ‘uni’ and did not study PPE, @i0null. You, wherever you went, seem to have completely missed the point I was making, that the precaution should be proportionate to the danger, and have some experimental basis. Muzzles fail both these tests. https://t.co/TeIr94IzAu
Generally I have no trouble at all. Very few busybodies, plenty of cheerful smiles. Shop workers, not obliged to wear them , but under pressure to do so, may well welcome mask-free customers. https://t.co/EpL1DRsS9N

Interesting how many of the muzzle zealots who attack me end their tweets with a peremptory 'Wear a mask!' or 'Wear a ****ing mask!' Yet I have never a suggested to any of them that they take theirs off (except by implication, during blood donations where a mask creates a risk).
Orwell once wrote: "Remarks like ‘They can’t run me in; I haven’t done anything wrong’, or ‘They can’t do that; it’s against the law’, are part of the atmosphere of England." This powerful article (which I do not endorse) suggests this is no longer true : https://t.co/70ljflCb0V
It’s ‘Mr Hitchens’ to you,@ionull . And no, I prefer not to cover my face with a loose soggy, porous nappy whose only true purpose is to proclaim my submission to and support of the stupidest government policy in history. Because I don’t support it. You wear one if you want. https://t.co/1WzZWzCQnA
I think that the film is one of the best of its type that I have seen. Quite long on TV (with ad breaks, 2 hrs 35 mins), it nonetheless kept the attention throughout (and that is not always the case with me: in younger days, as a 20-something, I was notorious among my friends for getting bored and walking out of cinemas after 20 or 30 minutes of the start of a film).
Assuming that the film was accurate (and I do remember some of the details of that terrible event of 2013), the wife of the main terrorist —she was a Muslim convert, he a Chechen resident in the Boston area— was lucky that it was considered that there was insufficient evidence to charge her.
As for the surviving terrorist, he only last week won his appeal against the death sentence he eventually received. He will spend the rest of his life in some soulless American prison. He was only 19 when he helped his brother to bomb the marathon event.
Such people cannot be described as “urban guerrillas”, if that term is still in use. They are purely terrorists, actuated by malice rather than anything approaching real ideology.
Some may say, “but look what American forces do, bombing civilians“, and that is true, but even from the point of view of hearts and minds, and leaving aside ethics, to bomb a civilian event like the Boston Marathon has no point and indeed is counter-productive: the Islamists gain nothing but the enmity of a superpower and its people.
An irritating start to the day. I awoke late. Usually, I switch off my radio once the BBC World Service, and Radio 4 Farming Today, is finished for the day, so that I do not have to hear the Today Programme and its annoying mixture of official propaganda, harshly hectoring female presenter tones and Jewish-Zionist bias. It has become unlistenable.
Today I missed, and left the radio on. The result was that I woke up to find being interviewed, the part-Jew barrister, Jolyon Maugham Q.C. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolyon_Maugham].
It may be that my readers on this blog will already be familiar with Maugham via his prolific tweeting, his pro-EU stance etc. He makes a great deal of money practising in the field of tax law.
However, the BBC and some other parts of the msm [see below] reported that the fox was in fact killed at Maugham’s London home; that, though superficially implausible, is in fact quite possible, as the “urban fox” has proliferated.

Maugham is no longer facing prosecution by the RSPCA. His Today Programme interview rather exposed him, in my opinion. He, like the good QC that I assume he is, examined the wording of the statute in question, then put a certain complexion on that wording in order to exculpate himself. It might even be argued that his exposition almost invited people to pat him on the back for having complied with the statutory wording!
He must be a good barrister. As to whether he is a good man, well, “the soul of another is a dark wood” (Russian proverb— “чужая душа тёмный лес”). G.K. Chesterton once wrote that “if a man can shoot his grandmother at a distance of a mile, he may be a good shot, but is not necessarily a good man.”
What I found lacking in Maugham’s interview this morning was any expressed sorrow at what the fox suffered. It was all “me me me, I, I, I.” He feels (it seems) no sorrow, no guilt, nothing at what (he seems to be saying) he had to do. In fact, was that so, anyway? He could have telephoned the RSPCA, presumably. He seems to be saying that the law almost insists on someone in his situation doing what he did, and that seems doubtful.
“It is an offence to mutilate, kick, beat, nail or otherwise impale, stab, stone, crush, drown, drag or asphyxiate any wild mammal with intent to inflict unnecessary suffering (Section 1 Wild Mammals (Protection) Act 1996)” [CPS Guidance]
A grey area, but the wording requires “intent to inflict unnecessary suffering” to ground a charge.
Of course, the law was drafted and passed with country landowners and farmers in mind, rather than London-dwelling barristers keeping chickens in their gardens (which to me seems an extraordinary thing to do anyway, and not a little silly).
It is true to say that foxes, unchecked, do a great deal of damage, and are liable to kill chickens en masse for the hell of it. Answer: protect your chickens properly.
Overall, Maugham seemed to be making himself, not the fox, the “victim”. There seemed to be a good deal of deflection going on.
The very next item on Radio 4 Today was the Chief Pharisee talking about the Purim festival in Judaism, which starts this week, apparently. As can be read in the Wikipedia article below, the Purim festival, like most if not all Jewish religious festivals, is a celebration of Jewish exceptionalism and tribal ethno-nationalism:
A young Jewish woman is introduced to the king of the Persians. Her Jewish identity is concealed. She eventually marries the king, becomes queen (still concealing her Jew identity), takes over the kingdom from within, then, revealing her ethnic identity, has the “anti-Semitic” (anti-Jewish) adviser to the king killed, along with over 75,000 of his family and other enemies of the Jews. The Jews then effectively rule Persia.
The above is what “they” celebrate as a religious festival.
As to Radio 4, the disproportionate Jewish and Zionist influence (and output) has been growing since the 1990s, and that influence is especially apparent on the Today Programme. It is also true of BBC World Service, which has hugely declined in quality since the 1980s. Sad.
A bad joke…
The social security or “welfare” “reforms” of the past decade, “masterminded” by dimwit Iain Dunce Duncan Smith and others, may be a joke, but a bad one, and the results are far from amusing for millions. Duncan Smith and the others have never been properly (or at all) punished for their evil.
Back in 2016 years ago I had to go for my #PIP assessment, mainly because I returned the questionnaire the @DWP sent me with a post-it note on the front saying "As I'm not a salamander my legs have not grown back yet."
Saw Oliver Dowden MP [Con, Hertsmere], now Culture Secretary, on Sky News All Out Politics. Wikipedia describes him as “one of the brightest political strategists”. I wonder who wrote that. He gives the impression of being a bit of a dimwit, if truth be known. He was talking about Coronavirus, surely outside the ambit of his brief (though constitutionally any Secretary of State can fill in for any other).
Dowden may have been chosen to appear because he was in public relations at one time. If that was the reason why he was talking, it did not convince me. This government’s response to Coronavirus seems sluggish and complacent. George Osborne, on Today earlier, seemed to want a far more energetic and urgent response from government.

Jesus H. Christ! Will you look at this idiot, posing as “Prime Minister”?! Talking simplistic crap to that little fag-end Philip Schofield and the bimbo (whoever she is)…
What kind of bad karma does the UK have, to have an incompetent, stupid poseur like Boris-idiot as supposed head of government at such a time?
If it were not for not wanting the dreary boredom of the thought police at my door (again), I would say straight out what I think should be done with this bastard and his bastard Cabinet of traitors, spies, criminals and nincompoops.
