This week, the questions seemed harder than usual. Political journalist John Rentoul only scored 2/10, and I did little better— 3/10. I knew the answers to questions 2, 5, and 6.
🛑 REVEALED on @TalkTV: the public has *no right to know* where asylum seekers are housed and how much taxpayer money is spent on luxuries for their flats/hotels, in case it “damages their mental health and safety,” according to a landmark ruling by Information Commissioner 🙄😲
…and the Bar itself is now a bad joke, filled with semi-literate idiots who know nothing, and are terribly afraid of standing up to the “woke” police state. They put their financial interests first.
(((The usual suspects))) have been behind most of the Bar’s slide into irrelevance and falling prestige.
It is an incredible threat that embeds and kills everything that speaks against it. Deadly mind virus.
Covid was without doubt a risk to some, but it's danger was blown out of proportion, and in many cases, figures were inflated. it had a detrimental effect on the economy and the mental health of many, probably far surpassing the true dangers of the virus itself.
“Covid was without doubt a risk to some, but it’s danger was blown out of proportion, and in many cases, figures were inflated. it had a detrimental effect on the economy and the mental health of many, probably far surpassing the true dangers of the virus itself. governments were just winging it with many poorly thought out and unneeded decisions, and with heavy implementation of censorship taken up to silence those that opposed it, even though our own governments didn’t follow their own rules, of which they were forcing the entire country to follow. I can only hope I never see someone being paid to drive around blaring a “please stay inside” pre-recorded message out of a megaphone. This was however short term bullshit that we got out of. As for the metaphorical virus that we speak of; it will be far more pervasive, detrimental and long lasting to our country and the things that keep it ticking along. People are making decisions for our country based on a buzzword pissing match, and those that oppose it are being ever more censored, sacked, arrested or whatever else.“
The mind virus seems to take the form of “regulators”.
For “regulators“, read “censors“, “snoopers“, “Stasi” etc.
This is pure #CommonPurpose, Alex. They have been particularly active in the Justice system for decades, and many lawyers and judges are their graduates.
Typical. Still, “always look on the bright side of life“— at least the Untermensch now has to pick up litter in Bristol for 150 hours, probably the only good he has ever done for the British people since he has been here (whether born here or not).
2. The young woman in question has never been in any trouble before. She has no idea what she has done, and the police are refusing to tell her.
This is Starmer’s Britain. You don’t need to be guilty of anything beyond holding the wrong opinion. Please follow @fictions_pulp and…
“1.BREAKING!!!! 19 year old woman visited by anti terrorist unit and @MerseyPolice yesterday. They asked her about her politics, if she is right wing, and why she had an ‘Anglo Saxon’ replica helmet in the house. They refused to say what she was accused of… They confiscated property… (a replica decorative sword hanging on her parents wall) and advised her: “Bite your tongue before talking on line.” @SpeechUnion@CollegeofPolice.”
The officers involved in this did not reveal they were from Counter Terrorism until they were inside the house. They questioned my daughter about her parents’ politics, they asked her about her religion and her political views .
The sheer cheek of the plods in question! Playing their “counter-terrorism” games. Put them back into uniform and get them patrolling “Murkyside’s” increasingly-dangerous streets.
Anyone who thinks that the above are not the tactics of a police state, even if —so far— a “poundshop” one, has not been paying attention.
The police (especially those ignorant of most relevant political and historical matters, and even relevant law, which means the vast majority) have no right and no business threatening the free speech of the people.
Keir Starmer has form for relegating the needs of women… When he was DPP, he was part of the team that gave protection to deluded cocks in frocks whilst ignoring actual women. https://t.co/YqvOyEb2fM
Never forget that, out of every 20 eligible voters, and out of every 12 voters who voted, only 4 voted Labour at GE 2024 (and many of those “Labour” voters only did so in order to bin the “Conservative” misgovernment of the little Indian money-juggler, Sunak).
You turned up at the young woman’s home, refused to tell her the nature of the complaint, and warned her to “bite her tongue” before speaking in the future.
You imagine you’re the good guys. You are not. You are political gangsters. https://t.co/vBDCrGyXzi
This is shocking. "Bite your tongue before talking online" — an apt strapline for the Labour Government's approach to online free speech. https://t.co/IBb3IK2rPA
That is the slippery slope down which a society slides when it says “you can have free speech but not hate speech“— and guess (((which))) element is at the forefront of shutting down freedom of expression in our country? That’s right…”them”.
No. The UK does not reject hate, which you define as ‘dislike, ill feeling, and antagonism.”We have an absolute right to dislike. And both justice and Parliament rely on antagonism.
Without “‘dislike, ill feeling, and antagonism” as options, there remains only abject subservience to the police state, all “happy” shiny little mixed-race or pro-racemixing people, and all applauding the pseudo-liberal State and multikulti society. Intellectual discrimination is central to a progressive (in the real sense) society, a society about to rationally choose its path to the future.
Yvette Cooper, a member of Labour Friends of Israel, is evil, as well as having been an expenses fraudster and freeloader who has never been punished. She must be removed from any position of power.
The young woman whose home was invaded by the “Murkyside” poundland Stasi “counter-terror” bad jokes has tweeted:
Just been visited by counter terrorism police (who are probably reading this)
Refused to tell me what I’ve said Refused to tell me where I said it Refused to tell me how it flagged
took my 60 year old fathers decorative samurai sword
In an ideal world, every single one of those poundland Stasi police would themselves have their homes violated, and possessions confiscated, and members of their families questioned and alarmed. Maybe one day…
Exact words were “bite your tongue before talking online”
Until very recent years, I retained a residual respect for the police, at least the rank-and-file. No longer. Useless at their proper job(s), and playing, many of them, at being “counter-terror” operatives. A bad joke force, nothing more.
My impressions (I did not watch the whole discussion): the CIA Director seemed more thoughtful, far more considered, and far less less gung-ho than the SIS Chief, who seemed shallow in his judgments. As in? Well, as in “the Ukrainians have the will to continue fighting“. Really? Is that why the Kiev regime has to employ press-gangs to recruit young-ish men? Is that why the Kiev regime is running out of soldiers willing to fight?
It seemed to me that the CIA Director was quite interested in finding a negotiated solution in Ukraine, whereas the SIS Chief seemed a far smaller figure altogether, foolishly referring to the Kiev regime as “our Ukrainian friends“. They are not our “friends” at all, but supplicants and beggars, arrogant demanding beggars at that.
The UK has virtually no common history with Ukraine at all, and of course Ukraine only became a state (and then, only in name) 30 years ago. Now a brutal, shambolic dictatorship.
Incidentally,
“In 2008, Burns wrote to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice: “Ukrainian entry into NATO is the brightest of all redlines for the Russian elite (not just Putin). In more than two and a half years of conversations with key Russian players, from knuckle-draggers in the dark recesses of the Kremlin to Putin’s sharpest liberal critics, I have yet to find anyone who views Ukraine in NATO as anything other than a direct challenge to Russian interests.”[17]“
[Wikipedia].
Pity that Burns is not Chief of SIS! Still, there it is…
What bs is Richard Moore putting out to the public (and to Government? Or is he telling the British Government what it wants to hear, as happened with one of his predecessors before the invasion of Iraq?), about how “Ukraine” (the regime in Kiev) is fighting on, and even “winning” (does he go that far?—maybe not), the fact is that Russian forces are advancing, and will continue to advance, at present mainly in the Donbass region, then across all Eastern Ukraine, either this year or in 2025.
“A knifeman has left several people dead after stabbing random passersby in the neck in a horrific ‘terror attack’ at a diversity festival in Germany.
The ‘Festival of Diversity,’ marking the city’s 650th anniversary, began on Friday and was supposed to run through Sunday, with 80,000 people expected.“
[Daily Mail]
The nationality of the killer is not known as yet. Chances are that he is from the Middle East, South Asia, or Africa.
When was the last time a German or an Englishman went to, say, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen or similar ghastly country, attended a “diversity” festival, and stabbed random strangers who were keen to promote a multikulti society and were —no doubt— “refugees welcome” dimwits? Answer— never.
For one thing, the denizens of those countries do not want a “multicultural society” (it’s their way or the highway); they have no “diversity” or similar festivals. Secondly, Europeans just do not behave like that.
Wake up, Europe…for God’s sake.
We do not want these backward hordes on our continent.
I find myself wondering whether the surviving German attendees of the “diversity festival” have now come to a different point of view, as compared to a couple of days ago.
Having said all that, there are probably now more people stabbed to death in the UK, indeed in London alone, every day, and mostly, in fact almost entirely, by non-whites.
If a car crashes, and 3 or 4 people are killed, the matter will not be reported in the national Press unless there are newsworthy aspects. If, however, a light plane crashes in a field, killing 3 or 4 people, that is almost always reported in national newspapers, and maybe even on national TV. It’s a question of what people think important.
“Scientists are calling for a new analysis of the Shroud of Turin amid a seemingly growing body of evidence that challenges the idea it’s a fake.“
[Daily Mail]
Interesting. Of course, the Roman Catholic Church has never explicitly said that the Shroud is directly connected to the Crucifixion; the phrase used is that the Shroud is “an aid to faith.”

“Kennedy’s decision to withdraw from the swing states in favor of Trump completely changes the election landscape. After all, it is the situation in these states that will decide the fate of the presidential election. Kamala was ahead of Trump in the polls there by 1-3 percent almost everywhere. But now Kennedy’s electorate will go over to the former president, and that’s 5-6 percent. The Democrats are in trouble.“
I do not know enough about the nitty-gritty of the American electoral landscape to know whether this is the game-changer for Trump that is claimed, or not. Will Kennedy’s move favour Trump, or will his intending voters prefer Kamala Harris, or will that group be split? I just do not know.
On the face of it, it might favour Trump (and I really cannot see why anyone would vote for Kamala Harris as potential head of state and government, though that is not quite true— there are huge numbers of American blacks who will vote for her just because she is non-white, as there are huge numbers of women who will vote for her merely because she is a woman).

So, unless Trump can prevail, the USA will be “led” by a “woke” joke woman with no European cultural or ethnic background, backed up by the above clown. What could go wrong? I suppose that they would be just figureheads, though, and the USA would be ruled by some mixture of “Deep State” insiders from Langley, the Pentagon, and the Bohemian Grove.

MOST READ #2 this week. The Tide IS Turning –leaving Labour and the Elite Class DANGEROUSLY out of touch with the British people https://t.co/PpLNNnvuqF
Seems that Lewis and Mandy Blumenthal have now left the Edinburgh Fringe, where they tried to have an American black comedian “cancelled” and even arrested, but failed, themselves being laughed and booed out of the theatre where they had staged an incident, no doubt partly so that they would later be able to claim some kind of substantial monetary “compensation”, as they had done before, notably in relation to Kuwait Airways. https://www.thejc.com/news/kuwait-airways-pays-damages-to-woman-barred-from-buying-ticket-at-heathrow-for-being-israeli-c1vcjc8o.
Incidentally, read that Jewish Chronicle report. It says thatMandy Blumenthal filmed herself trying to buy the ticket. What normal passenger does that? Anyway, it is clear that (((other persons))) were doing the filming and, indeed, doing so covertly. She, despite being a UK passport-holder, deliberately used her other, Israeli, passport, so that she could make a fake claim, and so make money out of the refusal to accept her Israeli passport.
Note how, in the full video (shown in that Jewish Chronicle report) she also makes a false claim that the poor ticket sales fellow is “racially abusing” her. Seems to be an ingrained trait.
So Mandy Blumenthal received “substantial damages“…I wonder. £10,000? £20,000? More?
Of course the lawyers involved on her side all eventually received fat fees too, because Kuwait Airways also agreed to pay her “full” legal costs.
A total scam. At least this time they were caught out.
Here’s the first video clip of Mark Lewis and Mandy Blumenthal on the Fringe.
So far as I can tell, Reginald D Hunter is saying “Let’s end this peacefully”.
As I noted yesterday, I was quite surprised to see how immobile Lewis now is (by reason of multiple sclerosis). I might feel sorry for almost anyone else who is so afflicted physically (it may also affect him mentally, he being or having been on powerful drugs) but Lewis has been co-ordinating persecution of me by the Jew-Zionist lobby in the UK for about 12 years now, so any reserves of compassion I may have will be directed to others, others frankly more worthy.
Lewis is or was a “director” of “UK Lawyers for Israel” [“UKLFI”], which was behind the complaint about me to the Bar Standards Board [BSB], in 2014, which resulted in my wrongful and actually unlawful disbarment in late 2016 (8+ years after I had ceased active practice at the Bar). A typically malicious political stunt. See below:
“A longer version of the clip released later shows the officer explaining to Falter that his approach was informed by the knowledge he had already deliberately walked out into the middle of the march and was therefore “looking to try and antagonise this”.
John Mann, the government’s antisemitism tsar, said Falter had been “quite explicit” about his intentions at the protest. “There’s no ambiguity in what he’s doing,” he told the BBC, saying he had been blocked by the CAA on the social media platform X and they were “not playing it straight”.
[Guardian]
Falter crowed mightily in the “sympathetic” sections of the (((Press))) and (((TV))) after my 2016 disbarment. After his 2024 Central London stunt failed, even quite vociferously pro-Israel individuals, such as David Aaronovitch (himself actually only half-Jewish, despite the name) [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Aaronovitch], heavily criticized Falter and the “CAA”:
Listening now to the full account of the "openly Jewish" incident it is apparent that Gideon Falter was angling for an incident just like this. And an officer eventually provided it. Worth looking at the @CST_UK statement
But sympathy for Falter is beginning to drain away now the full facts are emerging. He's even lost the support of David Aaronovitch now the latter has seen the full video.
Lewis has been making, with others, malicious behind-the-scenes attempts, since 2012, to have me investigated and even charged by the police. I am aware of some of the details, incidentally. In fact, he was working, partly, in conjunction with an equally-malicious “CAA” Israel fanatic, Stephen Silverman (“CAA” “Director of Investigations and Enforcement”), and others (some now defunct) for years, trying to “get” me.
Several times over the past decade, police constables (in their new role as a poundshop Stasi), or those PCSO play-police (ditto), have come to my door, but I have never been arrested by any of them (the PCSOs have no specific power of arrest anyway).
I was “invited” (required) to attend an interview a couple of times: see, e.g.
As readers can see, that attempt to have me charged failed.
The “CAA” sub-terrorists then, in 2017-2018, pressured the then Director of Public Prosecutions and the then Attorney-General to have me charged with “incitement to racial hatred”, a charge which requires the assent of the A-G. No dice.
The “CAA” and its cohorts had already pressured (pre-Elon Musk) Twitter to have my popular Twitter account shut down. It was shut down (in 2018) but, silver-lining time, the deletion of the Twitter account meant that the “Clown” Prosecution Service could not acquire the evidence to ground any such proposed “racial incitement” charge. The “CAA” idiots had shot themselves in the foot.
Incidentally, the ear of the then DPP was bent by Israel-lobby fanatic and then MP, Ian Austin, who wrote demanding my prosecution.
Now in the House of Lords, Austin once or twice tweeted that bestiality pornography should be decriminalized.
One of the few who actually supported Austin publicly was none other than Bristol University Jewish student girl Sabrina Miller, now scribbling fake news at the Daily Mail, fake news such as the recent contrived tale of the “victimized Israeli couple, Shimon and Talia“, who however were then unmasked as being Mark Lewis and Mandy Blumenthal. Small world…
That did not stop Silverman and Lewis (etc), though.
The former made a completely false accusation against me in 2021, alleging that I had “racially-abused” him, something that was not only false, but in fact impossible, because I did not know his address or telephone number, had never seen him in person, and had no Twitter account (and had never once written, posted, or spoken to him). In fact, there was simply no evidence against me at all, but the suborned or compliant police of two counties still “invited” (required) me to an interview under caution: see
I still do not understand why Silverman was not charged with “wasting police time” or why he has also never been charged with the far more serious (indictable) offence of (attempted) perversion of the course of justice (there is actually no distinction). He is plainly guilty, having made a provably false criminal accusation against me. I suppose that “they” just get a free pass much of the time.
An account of my free speech trial last year (under the notoriously bad law of the Communications Act 2003, s.127, recommended for repeal by the Law Commission), my prosecution having been once again instigated by the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” (Silverman):
Incidentally, Silverman actually turned up to gloat on both my day of trial in November 2023, and my days (there was an adjournment of a week or two) of sentencing in March 2024. He scuttled off pretty quickly after the sentence was handed down, and later tweeted (sub nom “CAA”) at how disgusting it was that I was not given a harsher sentence.
Incidentally Lewis’s behaviour towards his second wife, one-time minor “celebrity”, Caroline Feraday, apparently verged on —and arguably was— abusive. I don’t know about his first wife in detail, but both divorced him, in Caroline Feraday’s case after only a year. Lewis and Mandy Blumenthal are married now.

Almost exactly what not only is my view but was my view expressed on the blog long before GE 2024, though I disagree that the Con misgovernment was the lesser evil. Pretty much the same in most respects. People did not want fake Labour, Starmer-Labour, but they wanted to bin the fake “Conservatives” more.
As said repeatedly (and it needs to be repeated), Starmer-Labour has no real mandate because, regardless of the large number of seats bequeathed by a ridiculous electoral system, only 4 out of every 12 voters that voted, voted Labour; indeed, only 4 out of every 20 eligible voters, because only 12 people out of every 20 eligible voters actually voted.
Even on the conservative basis of 4 out of 12 (33.7%), Labour really has no mandate to do all sorts of absurdly dictatorial things.

#newsnight Why is it why #Black person be it a guest or well known person it appears the only thing they are conversed on is #Race#Colour anti #White . Yep vote them in and on that basis we will have a great economy and we will all live happily ever after in Disney land 😊
All part of the “blacks with everything” propaganda. Been going on for years now. Actual blacks are “only” about 4% of the UK population; even if you add in “browns” and others, the white (formerly known as English) population of the UK is still as much as 80% of the UK population, yet almost all the new faces on TV news and discussion shows are now non-white. A deliberate virtual “white genocide”.
A poor week. I scored only the same as political journalist John Rentoul— 3/10. I knew only the answers to questions 1, 2, and 5; had I thought a bit more, I should also have recalled no. 9 and no. 10.
Talking point
As David Starkey says, Starmer is (along with others and, particularly but not exclusively, in “the party formerly known as Labour”) attempting to institute a kind of “woke” and multikulti police state.
Where I differ from Starkey is in having no faith in the idea that a different ethos of national identity can suddenly emerge or be fostered, not without a homogenous population. The UK population is going the other way, becoming ever-more heterogenous, and spinning out of control.
I also differ from Starkey in that he thinks, or hopes, that, if he or someone else puts forward a reasoned and reasonable argument, eventually people will accept the propositions put forward. The credo of the traditional or classical academic.
All very well, as far as it goes, but Mao put forward the credo of Realpolitik, that is “political power comes out of the barrel of a gun“.
Not that that I agree wholeheartedly with that Maoist quotation either. The —by any other name— “revolution” in the DDR/East Germany in 1989 was not violent. There were vast, though peaceful, demonstrations in several major DDR cities (Dresden, Leipzig etc). The Lutheran Church was part of all that.
The East German state was still arresting some dissidents even in 1989, but the heart had gone. I recall the strange feeling I had when spending a couple of days in the DDR in 1988. Like a stage set of a state rather than a real one, an impression made stronger by the seemingly almost-depopulated southern parts of East Germany through which I travelled by car. I have blogged once or twice previously about my impressions of the place(s).
As a matter of fact, the slightly contrived “revolutions” of the late 1980s in Romania, Czechoslovakia etc were mainly non-violent, as they were in the pribaltika (Baltic states). I myself saw Czechoslovakia briefly in 1988, just before it all happened, and was in Poland several times in 1988 and 1989.
In Poland, even in 1988, one got the impression that the state there was going through the motions of being a “socialist” state but that, just under the surface, the whole population, pretty much, was “dissident” in one way or another; a kind of vast, non-violent anti-socialist conspiracy of a whole people.
Even in the Soviet Union, a huge “revolution” happened over several years in the late 1980s and early 1990s, mostly though not entirely peaceful, and including (as in Romania and elsewhere) many elements of the socialist-state structure.
Starkey is or was a Conservative, politically. He seems at least slightly taken with Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick. Why? The first is a Nigerian (though born in London) and so, in my opinion, unfitted by that fact alone to be a British political leader, let alone Prime Minister. I have, also, never heard anything worthwhile from her.
Born 1982, qualified late as solicitor, aged 26, but was in legal practice for only about 4 years (with two of the leading American law firms, sequentially; presumably quite junior), and was then (somehow; how?) a director of Christie’s auctioneers (though only until he became an MP a few months later).
Jenrick’s provenance interests me. It also disquiets.
Jenrick, yet another member of Conservative Friends of Israel, is tied up with Jewish businessmen and property-developer sharks, and pushed for the ruination of the small park by the Palace of Westminster by the proposed construction of a hugely-ugly “holocaust” “memorial” and propaganda centre.
In addition, Jenrick ordered, as minister for immigration, murals for children of migrant-invaders to be painted over because the colourful murals might give them pleasure and comfort.
No-one, I think, could accuse me of being either pro-immigration or in favour of granting privileges to migrant-invaders, but that mean-spirited targeting of any small children of such invaders by Jenrick felt morally wrong to me.
Like Starmer, Jenrick is married to a Jewish woman and has had children with her.
Jenrick just feels wrong to me. He’s a bad apple.
As to the Starkey interview, while I can agree with much of what he says there, he is too much in the ivory tower in the end.
Ironically, for someone “cancelled” by the System for making “racist” remarks, he seems to me insufficiently so. How does he imagine this country will recover in the way that he hopes when 20% of the population is already non-European, and with another ~million coming in every year at present? Make that, conservatively, about a 2% increase annually.
It seems to me that Starkey knows in his heart that I am right (even if, as is quite likely, he has never heard of me), but fears to say so; don’t forget that he “apologized” and tried to retract after he was “cancelled”. Never pretend to apologize to either the mob or to “them” (((them))).
The video is worth watching, though.
Further talking points
Good grief.
Listen to that “muppet” (on the second video clip), one Benjamin Butterworth. Complete idiot. Complete traitor to this country’s people and their future, too. Former (?) Chairman of Young Labour (in London). Scribbled a few times for the Guardian some years ago, apparently. https://www.theguardian.com/profile/benjamin-butterworth.
Poor thinking skills. Very poor, in fact. A fanatic, but one with nothing of interest to say. Claims that “legal immigrants” (the vast majority of all immigrants) all “come into the country with a job“. A straight lie. Huge numbers enter as supposed “fiances”, “fiancees”, “spouses”, “students”, “family members”, “asylum seekers” etc; and even those supposedly entering “with a job” (on work visas) are often not bona fide at all.
I fear that much of Starmer’s strongest support comes from semi-educated and anti-British fanatics of that sort.
I rather think that GB News had that Butterworth on because they knew that he would create a kind of petty storm among the discussion panel.
Labour’s master-strategy for industrial peace: throw money at the (unionized) groups in society that shout the most (train drivers, junior doctors etc).

Interesting to note that the msm always applauds “resistance” (including violent “resistance”) in, for example, historically, the Third Reich, the Soviet Union, Italy, Spain, and in various other parts of the world; in South America, even in contemporary North America and Europe, so long as Jews, non-whites, or sometimes Communist partisans, are doing the various forms of “protest”, but as soon as contemporary white people do the same, they must, apparently, be shut down, “cancelled”, even prosecuted and, indeed, even imprisoned. Not even because they have been violent, in fact. Look at Jez Turner, imprisoned for making a speech, Alison Chabloz, for singing satirical songs and posting cartoons; more recently, Sam Melia, for having published stickers the subject-matter of which was not even unlawful.
Remember “two-tier Keir” and thick-as-two-short-planks Angela Rayner being photographed literally “taking the knee” (bowing down before) the fraudulent “Black Lives Matter” nonsense?

Of course, the main reason that Farage recently distanced himself from the English protests, and especially their riotous offshoots, was because he does not want OFCOM to pressure GB News to cut off his work (and money).

Well, I certainly hear what tweeter Paul Embery is saying there, but look at the alternative— Kamala Harris, a hugely-ignorant non-white who will be but a figurehead while the “Deep State” around her, and really running the show, foments war with Russia, a war they think they can “win” but which —if it happens— will leave Europe, as well as North America and European Russia, in irradiated ruins.

The only question is whether Putin will simply utilize conventional military methods to push the Kiev-regime forces out of that part of the Kursk region which they have recently invaded, or whether he will do something entirely unexpected by the Western msm, such as use very powerful bombs and missiles (even tactical nuclear ones) to blast clear the whole of the occupied area. There is an outside chance that he might even launch a massive air bombardment on Kharkov or even Kiev.
Whatever the Russian response is, the Kiev-regime forces will be unable to hold the recently-invaded territory. Zelensky himself has admitted as much, though saying that Kiev “is not interested” in doing so. If that is so, why invade that territory in the first place? Clearly, as a public relations exercise to keep Western arms and money flowing in.
Meanwhile, in the Donbass region to the south, Russian forces are steadily advancing at present. About a mile per day. Not spectacular, but the Kiev-regime forces, short of —most of all— soldiers, will have no chance of regaining those areas, or of stopping the Russian advance, all the more so now that some of the better Ukrainian detachments have been re-deployed to assist with the Kursk incursion.

Starmer-Labour is clueless. The time for a National Wealth Fund would have been in the 1970s and onward, using North Sea Oil revenues, but the System parties gave most of the benefit to oil companies and foreign speculators.
Again, clueless. Mad. Crazed. Would-be dictator Yvette Cooper, who is closer to her evil dream than ever before, is even more of a police-statist than Starmer. She must be stopped. Starmer must be stopped.
Already, people who have nothing to do with “terrorism” (even taking the term at face value) are being snooped upon and sometimes raided by the police, under (some of them) their new-ish Stasi-lite grand title of “the Anti-Terror Command”. That sort of thing is being driven by relatively small groups within each occupation, profession, and vocation.
I cannot say anything directly on the blog because we now have so little free speech in the UK (by reason, indeed, of those same “small groups”), so I shall just say “are you thinking what I am thinking?“…
A man has been jailed for posting 3 memes over 2 days showing real images of Asian gangs with the words "Coming to a town near you".
This is becoming like a scaled down and ridiculous copy of Stalin’s purges. As Marx noted, first time— tragedy, but second time— farce [Karl Marx, The 18th Brumaire of Louis Napoleon].
Of course, that poor fellow quite wrongfully sentenced to 8 weeks in prison, will not see the (unfunny) joke, even though his 8 weeks will in the end be something like 3 (he will be out after 40% of the headline tariff).
In my opinion, the defendant should have pleaded not guilty. Unfortunately, he seems to have pleaded guilty (perhaps on advice of his solicitor) to get a notional sentence reduction from 12 to 8 weeks.
Starmer’s thoroughly wicked and unconstitutional suggestion (almost a demand, at least an expressed presumption) that anyone pleading not guilty to any charge arising —however peripherally— out of the recent protests) would be remanded in custody until trial (which these days might be months or even a year later) was a direct attack on the rule of law. Plainly intimidatory, and designed to make defendants cave and plead guilty.
The latest I heard, something like 700 arrests have been made. How many charges, I do not know.
Compare those sentences of imprisonment merely for giving out a few online opinions (though the Court, “Clown” Prosecution Service and politicized police all try to make the “offences” seem far worse) with those handed down for real crimes committed in the same area, such as this one:
“A thief told the manager of a Carlisle Co-op store who had caught him stealing alcohol that he would return and “stab him” if he called the police, magistrates heard.
The defence lawyer representing prolific offender Elijah Ali, 34, told the city’s Rickergate court that the defendant denied making the threat. He did, however, plead guilty to the theft and to using threatening behaviour.
Prosecutor George Shelley outlined the facts.
He said the defendant and a second unknown male walked into the Central Avenue branch of Co-op at around 9.30pm on August 5 and began brazenly stealing alcohol from the shelves, picking up “numerous” bottles of booze and putting them in Ali’s jacket.
This prompted the store’s manager to make a 999 call, reporting that a theft was in progress and requesting urgent help.
The second male left the store but as he left, said Mr Shelley, Ali told the store manager: “If you call the police, I’m going to come back and stab you. That placed [the manager] in a state of fear.”
Ali’s record comprises 98 previous offences, 25 of them thefts and kindred crimes. “He’s a prolific offender,” said Mr Shelley.
Magistrates imposed a £200 fine and told Ali to pay the Co-op compensation of £200 as well as £85 costs and a surcharge.“
So a few online comments about a news item results in immediate imprisonment, but for a “prolific thief” (called Ali) with 98 previous convictions, and who threatened to stab a shop manager, only a minor fine (probably paid off at £5 a week).
Any comment, “Prime Minister”? That’s you, two-tier Keir.

Bureaucrat-drone-dictator Starmer thinks that, by repressing free speech following the recent protests (and their riotous offshoots), he has somehow “solved” the problem that came across his desk. No. Every one of those recently sentenced, or sitting in some overcrowded jungle prison awaiting trial or sentence, now resents and hates Starmer and also the multikulti police state which he, Yvette Cooper, and Rachel Reeves, now head.
What does Starmer imagine will be happening in 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029, with British people scarcely able to make a living, to pay exorbitant rents, to buy houses the cheapest of which cost hundreds of thousands of pounds, or to walk the streets of their own cities safely?
Every day, hundreds, sometimes thousands, of migrant-invaders arrive illegally on our shores. Thousands more, every day, enter at least quasi-“legally”.

Kiev-regime announcement
The Kiev regime has announced that it “is not interested” in hanging on to the little strip of land it recently invaded in the Kursk region of Russia.
Translation: the forces of the Kiev regime only made the incursion so that Zelensky and his cabal could claim to Western mass media that they are “winning”, or at least continuing to fight.
In reality, the Kiev-regime incursion forces, mostly press-ganged and poorly-trained serf-soldiers, have been mainly wiped out, and the rest are —literally— dying to be able to drive back over the border to Ukraine and relative safety.
The Kiev-regime incursion was never sustainable; the territory gained for a day or two, or a week or two, could never have been held.
I am worried, though, for the dim Ukrainian soldiers and their grieving, or soon-to-be-grieving families, and also for the Russian civilian families in the Kursk border region, their lives disrupted by this stupid publicity stunt.
At the same time, the Russian advance in the south-east continues steadily.

I remember seeing this sorta thing a few years ago and it worrying me, due to my "Patsy from Ab Fab" ways. Somehow in July last year I gave up booze. Everything improved! You don't need a "rock bottom" or epiphany. You can just feel "blurgh". Tomorrow could even be the day 🙂 https://t.co/7VLtoJ9Qtn
Strange. I have read about the increase in alcohol consumption during the “lockdown” nonsense or 2020-2021. I went the other way, almost stopping my relatively-modest consumption.
There have been times in my life when I drank little or nothing, other times when my consumption was quite high. I suppose the latter was true of when I was living in the former Soviet Union, in the Caribbean, and in France, as well as when I was practising at the English Bar (during the years 1992-1996 and 2002-2008).
Now, most days, I drink no alcohol at all. No particular reason predominates. It may be partly a function of increasing age (I shall be 68 next month, ironically on the same day as the birthday of “two-tier Keir” Starmer, though he is six years younger than me).
Another reason is that the wines, especially the red wines, that I once liked, such as Chateau Margaux, are extremely expensive (I suppose they always were, but that I notice it more now), or are hard to source (some Moldavian and Georgian wines).
One kind of booze I do like is what the French term eaux de vie, such as 40%+ Kirsch and Poire Williams etc.
A Central and Eastern European taste too, that I must have picked up somewhere or other, is Slivovitz (plum spirit), which UK Lidl had on sale recently (I bought 2 bottles, 42% alc.), and what the Hungarians call palinka, fruit spirit, which may be distilled from one fruit, or a mixture. Apricot is probably my favourite, though I have not had any for well over 20 years.
On a hot day, though, beer is often the best drink (apart from water). I used to like (30-40 years ago), Zhiguli beer from Russia, which was at that time sold in the UK, in Selfridges. Czech beer is pretty good, of course, as is some Polish.
When I was living in Turkey for a few months, I liked Tekel beer, made by a State enterprise. It no longer exists, at least in that form.
One type of wine that I liked a lot in the 1980s, and early 1990s, was the kind of white wine produced in Australia at that time, especially heavily-oaked quality Chardonnay. Harder to find now, of the same type. Maybe tastes have changed, and the producers have followed suit..

The people cheering on the destruction of #FreeSpeech in the UK (because they think it gives them power over their peers) reminds me of the crowds cheering Mao's regime as it murdered citizens and erased history.
The most frightening revolutions happen to the sound of applause.
As I noted on the blog during the “Covid” hysteria, the self-describing “left”, including almost all of the “human rights” tribe, were all in favour of more severe “lockdowns”, more severe penalties, dissidents and people ignoring the “Covid” hysteria to have all civil rights taken away, deprived of all medical treatment, even when entirely unconnected to “the virus” etc.
Indeed, the self-describing “left” has lost of of its former ideology and direction, and seems to exist purely to cheer on the right labels (“Covid”, “Ukraine”, “BLM”, “trans”-whatever) and of course “Labour”, despite Labour (also) having lost all or 99% of its former ethos. That, and to “deplatform” from everywhere possible any people who are labelled derogatively by them.

Professor Tettenborn is someone I met a couple of times in Exeter circa 2002-2003. He was at that time the professor at the law faculty of Exeter University. I was in a small set of barristers (now very much larger and, under another name, the largest in the South West outside Bristol; the former head of my old set is now a Circuit Judge).
I sat with Professor Tettenborn and another as a notional “Lord Justice of Appeal” at a moot competition held in the Guildhall at Exeter in mid-2002. My only day as a Lord Justice of Appeal, or indeed any sort of judge.
Incidentally, the winner of the moot (out of three student contenders) was a young Anglo-Armenian who had engaged in some sharp practice during the competition. We three “Lords Justices of Appeal” discussed disqualifying him, but in the end relented. As a student advocate, he was head and shoulders above the other two students, and we thought that that had to be recognized.
A few years later, as a young barrister, the same person got into trouble over allegations of sex harassment (not in my own Chambers but another set), I heard. Not sure whether that went to the Bar Standards Board (I think it did), but the person in question is still, I believe, at the Bar and still based in Exeter; I think that he was also, quite a few years ago, an unsuccessful Conservative candidate for MP at Exeter.
All a long time ago now.
Professor Tettenborn also made a very cogent case at the Law Commission inquiry as to whether the very bad law known as Communications Act 2003, s.127, should be repealed. That was what was recommended, but the section has so far not been repealed, and is regularly misused either by the police/CPS or by the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism”.

700. In a single day. So 700 migrant-invaders, all of which will now “have to be” sheltered, fed, given medical services, provided with cash etc. Call it £20,000 or more each per year, indefinitely. Then add costs of policing, courts, prison etc once some (if only a minority; so be it) start criminal activity. £30,000+ each per year. Overall, in conservative terms, Between £15M and £25M a year. £25M that will now not be spent on British people, for British people’s health, welfare, transport, education, future.

The unlucky Ukrainian soldiers used in the Kursk incursion are, like all the Kiev-regime soldiery, being used by Zelensky’s evil regime as cannon-fodder. Dispensable. Many were press-ganged into service. Few if any now are volunteers.
As blogged previously, even were the Kiev regime forces to reach Kursk (city), the centre of the region, their extended lines would be vulnerable to both air (including missile) attack and also to flank attacks by armour and infantry. I also doubt whether the Kiev-regime forces can resupply an extended line of incursion for very long.
So far, it looks as though the forces of the Kiev regime have penetrated to a depth of about 20 miles from the border line.
“The Kursk offensive comes after weeks of Russian advances in the east, where a succession of villages have been captured by the Kremlin’s forces.” [BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crkm08rv5m0o].
Note that, until now, the “free” UK/US msm has not reported even in passing that the Russian forces are achieving victory in the south-east and east of Ukraine.
The Kiev-regime incursion may have reached a depth of about 30 miles in some areas, such as the Lezhinka area noted in the BBC report, but that is still a long way (maybe 50 miles) from the city of Kursk itself.
Kursk (city) is about 327 miles from Moscow.
The world-conquering armoured and other forces of the German Reich faltered amid the huge empty spaces of (even) European Russia in the early 1940s. How much more pointless and unlikely to succeed is this Kiev-regime incursion, with its unwilling and poorly-trained soldiers?
In the end, were Russian forces to have to fall back to Kursk (city), which I feel is highly unlikely anyway, the Russian “stavka” (high command) could use masses of advanced conventional weapons such as thermobaric missiles and bombs to completely annihilate the Kiev-regime advance.
Actually, I feel sorry for the Ukrainian soldiers (and their families), who are mere pawns in the corrupt evil game of the Jew Zelensky and his Kiev cabal.

“German expert: The maneuver in Kursk could mark the military end of Ukraine “
An attack on the Kursk area could lead to the military end of Ukraine, because its armed forces are inferior to the Russian army.
The Ukrainian brigades deployed in Donbass are quite worn out and were waiting to be replaced by new forces, which are now used to attack Kursk “, said Gustav Gressel in an interview for “Spiegel”.”
Senator Lindsey Graham hinted that Ukraine could attract retired American F-16 pilots, indirectly indicating that there are not enough Ukrainian pilots even for the limited number of F-16s declared for transfer to Kyiv pic.twitter.com/EOlaMcybvF
That Graham idiot is a complete Jewish-lobby/Israel lobby puppet, so his idea is not entirely unexpected.
I doubt that many retirement-age American pilots are desperate enough to want to fly for the Kiev regime, though. Even were the pay to be high, so is the chance of coming back to the USA in a body bag (if the pieces can be found). 20 years in the present version of the Gulag Archipelago is also rather uninviting.
I was slightly acquainted in 1996-1997 with a group of civilian American pilots in Kazakhstan, ex-Eastern Airlines, hired to fly the Kazakh President’s Boeing aircraft. Sounds as if Clarkson, of whom I have never much liked the look, has mellowed, or at least learned a little.
He might have added (if he knows) that, while well over 4M people voted Reform UK (more than voted for the LibDems, or the Greens), fewer than 7M voted Conservative, and fewer than 10M voted Labour.
Labour, for all its supposed “landslide”, got only two and a half times the number of votes of Reform UK; not even, in fact.
Out of every 20 eligible voters, only 4 voted Labour. Con 3. Reform UK 2. LibDem 2. Green 1. 8 did not bother to vote.
I know that I make the point almost daily, but people must understand that this Starmer-Labour government or “elected” dictatorship has no real legitimacy, no real mandate. The msm is presenting a false narrative about the General Election.

Fanatical Jew-Zionist barrister Simon Myerson claiming that the National Front “plotted to blow up Jews“. Untrue. Ahistorical nonsense. The National Front was a genuine and legitimate political party, albeit a fairly small or even fringe one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Front_(UK). Apparently, it still exists, at least in name.
In the 1970s, the National Front was the fourth-largest party in terms of both members and votes, certainly the latter.
As for Myerson, who operates out of Leeds and Manchester, he was recently removed as a Recorder (p/t judge) after having repeatedly abused people on Twitter/X etc, and after having failed to listen to initial “advice” (in effect, an admonishment or reprimand) from the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office.
It may well be that some particular individual NF supporter or member plotted as described by Myerson; have members of the System parties never committed any crimes?
I just spent 4 days in Hungary, a conservative country criticised by elites across the West. I saw no crime. No homeless people. No riots. No unrest. No drugs. No mass immigration. No broken borders. No self-loathing. No chaos. And now I've just landed back in the UK.
I was once in Hungary, for about a week, and 24 years ago (2001). I never went to Budapest, and travelled from the Romanian frontier to the Austrian frontier (which was then also the EU frontier), staying at Szeged (a pleasant town on the river Tisza) and then in a former Soviet-style “sanatorium” (hotel) by Lake Balaton, where my wife and I had a suite with its own external staircase to the lawned gardens which ran down to the lake, in which I was able to swim.
There was a small bust of Lenin in the bar (in the days of socialist rule, pre-1990, there may or may not have been a bar, but there was in 2001).
I liked what I saw of Hungary: civilized, and the people, the ones I met, reliable and decent.
By the time Yvette Cooper wrote this she would have seen, like all. of us, footage which shows violence coming from multiple sides
The Labour gvt should reframe response and call out ALL sides or risk fanning perception of two-tier Keir https://t.co/nAanfwsjEk
Starmer and Yvette Cooper are tendentious anti-Brit people. They come out of a history of promoting mass immigration into the UK, and are really traitors to the future of the British people. Both members of Labour Friends of Israel.
GB News is routinely criticised when a conservative happens to interview another conservative.
This morning, ex-Labour MP Ed Balls interviewed Labour MP Yvette Cooper about the riots. They are married.
Yvette Cooper and Ed Balls, when both were MPs, were expenses cheats and freeloaders; criminals. Now she, a would-be dictator, and member of Labour Friends of Israel, is trying to shut down what free speech still exists. Evil.
Keir Starmer’s statement today reaffirms that Western governments are totally occupied and will always side with murderous, alien foreigners over their own native people.
They will use these riots to vilify the emerging anti-immigrant consensus and throw the book at everyone.
This is the modern-day equivalent of Norman Tebbit's "Cricket Test". If Britain really is the happy, integrated multicultural country that Labour and liberals tell us it is, then why are mobs of Muslims chanting Allahu Akbar rather than waving the Union Jack?
There are those on “both sides” trying to frame these fights and protests as revolving solely around white people opposed to Islamism and/or Pakistani Muslims.
The rioting Gypsies of Harehills (Leeds) are not Muslim; neither is the alleged Southport killer. All, however, are non-white, non-European, non-British in any real sense.

If that is accurate, and is what Putin has said, it may mean that he has come to certain conclusions about a possible, and possibly inevitable, “solution”.
Not only is there “two-tier policing” in the UK, but there is also two-tier reporting.
I watched a few minutes of a BBC report from a protest in the North of England yesterday evening. The geeky reporter said that he had just been talking to a leader of the “counter-protest” (unnamed, and not described, other than as said; may have been non-white, Jewish, or an English anarchist or Communist, we do not know), who had given his view. Needless to say, the unverified, anonymously-provided information provided by the said “leader of the counter-protest” was neither challenged by the BBC reporter nor balanced by any view from the English protesters. Typical.
Suddenly, we hear the mouthpieces of “the usual suspects” (e.g. Priti Patel, John Woodcock/”Lord Walney” etc) demanding the recall of Parliament.
Is this Starmer-Labour’s “Reichstag Fire” moment, when very repressive laws and/or “temporary” “measures” will be enacted by Starmer at the behest of (((those behind Starmer))), thus enabling a real police state (modelled on, inter alia, the “Covid” scamdemic/panicdemic regulations) to come into being?

Fanatical loonie Jew-Zionist Lee Kern describes England, or Britain, or the UK, as a “shithole”. He was, I think, born here, brought up here, and worked here, but has as little real connection with our country as some untermensch straight off a rubber boat on the beaches of Kent.
I saw the same phenomenon, though couched rather more politely (surprisingly) when the egregious lawyer, Mark Lewis, abandoned the UK for Israel (he is still returning from time to time to make money, though); that was in 2018, after he was found guilty in the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal.
As for “sense of purpose” in Israel, its only sense of purpose has to do with its losing struggle to survive. I do not know how long the Israeli state can survive, but former heads of MOSSAD and Shin Beth seem pessimistic about it. Arab populations increasing, Israeli population static; nuclear weapons being developed in Iran; conventional heavy weapons being developed in states around Israel.
Wait till Iran kicks off he then will be running on holiday all the time. He won't know what to do….its all going to kick off…..everywhere..concerning times…..
Well said, they are draining resources that are already at breaking point, our population is suffering because what was meant to be our safety net has become theirs, while natives suffer.
“It is true that we have a severe illegal immigration problem, it is true that it is costing the taxpayers billions, it is true that some awful crimes have been committed by these and asylum seekers, it is true that thousands of Hospitality jobs have been lost by housing them in hotels, it is true that social housing is being depleted by this problem. If you’re trying to shut down accounts that highlight that, you’re not for free speech, you’re an authoritarian nut case.“
Yes billions you fool, asylum/illegal hotels, food, healthcare, security. Billions per year.https://t.co/ozDAkFG9ML
The pro-immigration types have always liked the British people to assume either that migration(-invasion) is cost-free, or that it actually benefits the UK. It’s rubbish. The overall costs are enormous.

I have, for a number of months, if not longer, raised concerns about Starmer, who always reminds me of Khrushchev’s view of Malenkov, i.e. that Malenkov was a “file-clerk type; such people should never be given power, and are dangerous” [see https://www.amazon.co.uk/Khrushchev-Remembers-Nikita-Sergeevich/dp/0316831409].
Look at Starmer. His first crisis as Prime Minister, and what does he do? He retreats to his “legal people” comfort zone. He does not even attempt to unite a country being pulled in different directions by centrifugal forces, as a real leader would.
Starmer threatens new repressive powers, “night courts”, no bail for accused persons (which is beyond his lawful power anyway), prison sentences (ditto). He supports, basically, one side, or rather is against one side, the British side, if you like.
Starmer’s attempt to create fear, eg among those on social media, has had some effect, not on the “bottle-throwers” but on entirely decent English people, many of at least middle-age, who have deleted tweets (often saying simply that they have been labelled “thugs” by Starmer).
Meanwhile, the brainless police have been shown on Twitter/X “bravely” kicking in the door of a lone woman who attended a protest. What else, if anything, did she do? If the police behave like a poundland KGB or Stasi, then public respect for them will (further) plummet.
Well, here we are, one month and one day into the Starmer-Labour “elected” dictatorship.
Oh, and another few hundred, or thousand, migrant-invaders will have crossed the Channel today, ferried in by Border Force and the RNLI (and another thousand —or possibly three thousand— “legal migrants” will have entered the UK via ferries and airliners).
Hey @Keir_Starmer You label me “Far Right” because I am disgusted by the state of the UK.
I have done more for this country than you and your crooked MP mates have EVER done and I no longer want to live here anymore!
In England Child grooming gang members from Rochdale are walking free, but the government has sent the police to arrest a man for comments made on Facebook. This is #TwoTierPolicing. Things might get much worse if the system doesn't change. #ukprotest#mondaythoughtshttps://t.co/Y4pm2UZQqX
Watch that police “officer” in the clip, her smug attitude, hands in pockets, and the whole attitude of both police. Superficially not harsh, but arresting someone who sounds about 80 for comments (no doubt about the ghastly state of this poor country) made on Facebook!
Police state, even if it is (still? so far?) a “velvet glove” one most of the time.
I think that the time has come, inter alia, for me to share with my dear readers an event that happened at least a month ago. About 5 or 6 weeks ago.
Mid-evening after a warm day. I think a Saturday. Not sure. About 2030. Knock at door. Uniformed policeman there. Had never seen him previously. “Hello, what’s the problem?“; to which he answers “why would there be a problem?“, at which I have to politely explain that my wife and I do not have the police at our door every day…
It turns out that I am being questioned (and filmed on bodycam) for tweets made on Twitter/X. I am told right from the start that “there is no need to worry“, because the matter had “already been NFA’d“, meaning “No Further Action”.
I was too surprised by being buttonholed to ask why, in that case, a policeman had once again come to my door (not that exact policeman, but in the past decade, several real police and/or joke “PCSO” fake police).
The policeman showed me a kind of photostat or copy of what might have been a tweet, but he objected when I tried to take or (as my wife says I always do) snatch the paper to look at it properly (once a barrister, always a barrister…).
The heading seemed to be something like “Ian#IStandWithCorbyn“
Anyway…I told the police that I had actually not had a Twitter/X account, nor tweeted anything at all, for about six years, since 2018, when a pack of Jews (I diplomatically put it as “a Jewish organization“) had complained about me to —pre-Elon Musk— Twitter, as a result of which Twitter had shut down my account permanently (and that I had never bothered to reinstate the account).
After that, the policeman, absurdly, would not let me examine the tweet or tweets, on the basis that the material would be confidential if not mine (why, if the tweet was public anyway?). The police today need a Franz Kafka to chronicle their absurd rules and protocols.
Anyway, after that, and a joke or two (from me), the policeman thanked me and departed stage left (not pursued by a bear, sadly).
So the police can send someone over a claimed tweet allegedly by me, which tweet had already been marked as “NFA” but, when a wheel was stolen from my car about 18 months ago, they did absolutely nothing. Useless.
I was too surprised to ask why they thought that the “Ian” of the tweet (if he even exists) was thought to have been me. Do the police think that no-one else in the UK is called Ian? God knows.
No wonder crime is flourishing, when the police seem to be uninterested in, and indeed incapable of doing, their proper job, yet take seriously malicious complaints from (((the usual suspects))) about supposed comments on Twitter/X, Facebook etc.
Who would best chronicle the way Britain now is— Franz Kafka, or Lewis Carroll?

What interests me is how these “liberal” scribblers, talking heads, lawyers etc all talk a good “human rights” game until someone tries to stand up for European race, culture and civilization. Then the “liberal” System/msm types are all in favour of locking people up for merely stating a view, let alone actually attending a protest…
🇬🇧 A tense standoff in Plymouth, England this evening between open border activists and anti-immigration protesters.
Plymouth now. I think Royal Parade, one of the main streets, near to Armada Way, where I often, in the years 2002-2007, used to appear as Counsel in front of a varied group of judges at the Plymouth County Court.
Plymouth could be a great city, but isn’t. Badly-run for decades, basically.
As to the protests generally, BBC News dragged out Brendan Cox, the sex-pest of years ago, whose MP wife was assassinated. Cox was at one time getting hundreds of thousands a year from charities for his salaried work. One of the “favoured” of the present System set-up and its msm. One of the Prominente favoured by the multikulti msm, if you like.
Why does that person have any locus standi at all to discuss, or lay down, what does or does not constitute “legitimate” free speech?

Quite. Just like would-be tyrant-woman Yvette Cooper, who even had the gall to say that British families should allow migrant-invaders to stay in their homes. Needless to say, she and her equally-expenses-cheating husband, Ed Balls (who together own several houses and flats) are not accommodating any migrant-invaders.
BBC website is still banging on about 'far right thuggery' in Plymouth, where there's about 4 people and a dog just standing about. Nothing about this at all. I agree with you, it's time someone does the right thing and speaks up.
Fear? Think how many Muslims there now are in the UK (England especially). Nearly 4 million. Most are quiescent most of the time but, if inflamed by their own leaders, and/or by pro-active policing, and if organized (even locally) they could easily take down both the police and the now-very-depleted Army. Think about it.
English people are generally not organized when it comes to political protesting. Usually easily-controlled by the authorities.
Stop saying "far right thugs" Say violent offenders on ALL sides Stop talking only about mosques Say you support ALL communities Stop dwelling on "misinformation" Say immigration concern is REAL Stop talking about making ppl safe Say you'll actually control borders Stop denying…
In a sense, the migration-invasion of the UK (and Europe generally) is the tsunami overshadowing the smaller events under it (such as the present urban upheavals in England).
The new and rubbish “Labour”-label Government talks a hard game, but behind that, the migration-invasion continues unchecked, unabated. Sooner or later, this society will break, whatever political pygmies of the Yvette Cooper and Starmer type may say (or do).
Reminds me of the last days of the German Reich, with Hitler and the generals of the OKW (Oberkommando der Wehrmacht—German High Command) moving wooden plaques, representing SS-Panzer and other forces, mostly by then non-existent, across huge maps, while, not so far away, the enormous Soviet armies advance relentlessly, ever closer to Berlin.

I agree with that “@chelleryn99” tweet.
As with “Boris”-idiot, there is something of the onion, or the matrioshka, about Starmer. Several layers, but nothing (or something quite different and/or alien) at the centre.
Performative Labour tribalist (who however always looks uncomfortable with that), one-time criminal defence barrister turned high-level public prosecution lawyer, the not-quite-true faux-proletarian background (parents not so poor, and who sent him to a partly fee-paying school in a good part of Surrey), the (half-) Polish-Jewish wife, and the children brought up as if fully-Jewish… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Starmer.
“Lady Starmer is Jewish and Sir Keir has talked about keeping the tradition of family Friday night dinners, where they are often joined by her father for prayers.“
So I suppose that Starmer wears one of those little skullcaps, a yarmulka (I think) on such occasions? Maybe, maybe not. I have not seen anything as to whether all attendees at such dinners do or not. The Jewish prayer part of that paragraph seems to suggest that Starmer does wear such headgear but (needless to say) I have never seen a photo of him wearing it.
“The YouGov/Sky News poll asked this week whether voters thought he would be a good or bad prime minister. Almost half – 47% – said bad. The older the voter, the more pessimistic they are.
Sir Keir is starting from a low base – not as bad as Rishi Sunak, but still bad. By contrast, only 33% said they thought he’d be good.
That level of enthusiasm suggests Sir Keir may not enjoy much of a public opinion honeymoon, just at a point where he is likely to have to start by making difficult decisions, most notably on raising taxes.
One of the themes of this election has been the party’s clarity that while it will promise not to raise income tax, national insurance and corporation tax, no such bar exists on other taxes.“
[Sky News]
He will probably raise the level of VAT. Even a 1% rise would harvest a huge amount of money. Pretty tough on poorer people, though…Maybe an increase in fuel duty, too (sold —or not— to the public as “green”, of course…).
Where is Starmer, ideologically?
“Starmer’s politics have been described as unclear and “hard to define”.[142][143][144] When he was elected as Labour leader, Starmer was widely believed to belong to the soft left of the Labour Party.[145] However, he has since moved to the political centre-ground.[146][147] By the September 2023 shadow cabinet reshuffle, most analysts concluded that Starmer had moved to the right of the party, and had demoted and marginalised those on the soft left, replacing them with Blairites.[148][149][150][128][127]
So, again, Starmer is impossible to pin down. Not socialist, not really even a social-democrat, yet also without any of the respect for private enterprise or private views that one used to see in the “small-c” conservatives.
“In April 2023, Starmer gave an interview to The Economist on defining Starmerism.[152][154] In this interview, two main strands of Starmerism were identified.[154]
The first strand focused on a critique of the British state for being too ineffective and over-centralised. The answer to this critique was to base governance on five main missions to be followed over two terms of government; these missions would determine all government policy.
Boiled down, what that seems to suggest is another Iain Dunce Duncan Smith-style attempt to harry the poor, sick, disabled (and the middle-aged not yet of State Pension age) to poorly-paid work “opportunities”, while cutting back social security “welfare” payments harshly. Also, Starmer will cave in to the any demands of the EU.
There is no obvious suggestion that Starmer and Rachel Reeves are interested in the effect of robotics and AI, which together may destroy existing jobs by the million, thus positing the need for Basic Income.
The last strand featured is as bad, or worse: caving in to the demands of the housebuilding industry.
Starmer will probably allow the large housebuilding companies to spread their expensive but often jerry-built “little boxes, made of ticky-tacky” across the English countryside.
Starmer will no doubt talk about the “housing crisis” but fail to note that most of that is consequential upon the migration invasion (a million or more every year now). Sajid Javid, another pro-Israel puppet (now washed-up politically), also showed himself unwilling to see the facts:
Try 10-15 million (over the past 25 years, including births to immigrants)…
As to the mass immigration influx itself, Starmer-Labour will eventually stop most of the cross-Channel small-boat invasion by the simple expedient of setting up “processing centres” (maybe simple offices) in Northern France. There, the would-be invaders will, almost all of them, have their applications to enter the UK rubber-stamped.
At present, 80% of those arriving here and claiming “asylum” have their applications approved anyway (under a system that was out of date decades ago), so Starmer will simply lower the bar even further so that 90% or 95% are approved (filtering out, it will be claimed, any known criminals or terrorists— all bs of course). The public will then be sedated into complacency— far fewer “small boats” (or invaders ferried in by the RNLI, Navy, Border “Farce” etc) will be seen arriving.
In fact, the more obvious criminal/terrorist invaders will still arrive, using the “small boat” or “back of truck” methods, but the numbers will be only about a twentieth of the number now arriving. As to the rest, armed with their new Starmer-visas, they will just take the ordinary ferries.
Of course, Starmer will not “solve” the migration-invasion crisis, but just cover it up. That is what he does. There is a massive dishonesty lurking in Starmer.
More? “Starmer has pledged to halve the rates of violence against women and girls, halve the rates of serious violent crime, halve the incidents of knife crime, increase confidence in the criminal justice system, and create a ‘Charging Commission’ which would be “tasked with coming up with reforms to reverse the decline in the number of offences being solved”.[190] He has also committed to placing specialist domestic violence workers in the control rooms of every police force responding to 999 calls to support victims of abuse.[191]
After confirming he would not scrap the current two-child benefit cap, Starmer was criticised by many within his own party.[193]“
[Wikipedia]
There is a thread there, a thread of antipathy to civil rights; a thread of authoritarianism .
Remember how Starmer wanted even fiercer, more restrictive, and longer-lasting “lockdowns” during the 2020-2022 currency of the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic?
My response?
There are times in history when authoritarian government is inescapable; even outright —though temporary— dictatorship. However, that should not be the norm, particularly in a country such as the UK, with its history of gradually-broadening rights and freedoms.
In other words, Starmer is a “chosen” part of the whole NWO/ZOG matrix, and that of course includes the plan to destroy the future of the European peoples, the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan.
Starmer may take part in Jewish pre-prandial or post-prandial (?) prayers (as he has stated) but, once again, that seems to be something merely performative with him, he being an atheist anyway.
Foreign policy is easy to predict: Starmer was willing to say that the “Israelis” have every right to shut off even water to the suffering children of Gaza. He is a Jewish-lobby and Israel-lobby puppet. Completely.
Other than that, Starmer will do whatever the “Americans” (the USA’s ruling circles and cabals) want him to do. So… “support” for Israel, “support” (money, arms etc ) for “Ukraine” (the Kiev regime) etc.
Incidentally, there is much election bs being talked by Labour Party supporters as to how Labour will be a kinder sort of government than that of Sunak’s clowns. I doubt it. I would not put anyone in charge of such as Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper, and the other Labour Friends of Israel types. As to Starmer, his support for Israel cutting off food and even water to the women and children of devastated Gaza shows just how far his much-trumpeted “compassion” goes…
If Starmer is willing to cut off food and water to the suffering civilians of Gaza, what might he be willing to do to the people of the UK?
I see no real centre to Starmer; even his doglike loyalty to Israel and the Jew-Zionist lobby seems performative, yet that is the only thing that seems to mean anything at all to him.
Starmer displays no obvious ideological loyalty (as such), no old-fashioned class-loyalty (to any social class or category), and no religious loyalty (an atheist, presumably originally Church of England).
Who, really, is this?
It is hard, of course, to see evil in someone as dull as Starmer, despite the oft-quoted words of Hannah Arendt about “the banality of evil“. The expectation, I think misguided, is that Evil, whether cosmic or on the mundane plane, will somehow be more interesting than the Good.
Starmer should worry people, not because he has expressed any particularly “evil”, or even “bad” ideas (he even weaselled ab out cutting off water to families in Gaza, tried to evade the question etc), or some kind of (obviously) sinister ideological base, but more because he, like those he gathers closely around him, has no ideas beyond the most shallow. Someone trying to be elected (in effect) as Prime Minister is expected to come up with at least a few ideas, if not a coherent ideology, and Starmer either does not or cannot.
Will Starmer-Labour create a better Britain? No. I see a harsher, more intrusive police state likely to emerge. Mass immigration will continue, perhaps in even greater volume, and our towns and cities will, despite the encroaching police state, become no-go areas policed by even-less responsive paramilitary police.
Economically? A gradual downturn. The spending cuts agenda apparently very likely, combined with the cost of the continuing migration invasion of parasites, as well as the backfire effect of sanctions against Russia will ensure that.
Starmer’s government will, as predicted by Matt Goodwin, become very unpopular very quickly. However, in the absence of any real Opposition in the Commons (the Con —or possibly LibDem— official Opposition, post-GE 2024, may have only about 50 MPs), it may be possible for social nationalism to make real headway outside, in the “real world”.
Election notes
Well, we now know that 4 July 2024 is to be the fateful day. Is it a co-incidence that that is Independence Day in the USA? Does the choice of day have some symbolic, even occultic, significance? Maybe not, but there seems to be no obvious reason for that day to be the day.
Exactly 5 weeks from today.

Note the huge Lab majority, and the fact that the Cons are not even shown as the official Opposition (LibDems, incredibly). Also, the SNP predicted to lose three-quarters of their 2019 seats.

Gradually, gradually, South Africa descends into darkness. The European (white) population, which at one time (1911) was about 22% of the whole, has declined sharply since “majority rule” (African corrupt crony rule) came in 30 years ago, and is now only about 7%. Once that 7% figure drops to 1% or 2%, maybe by 2040, South Africa will go the way of the Congo, Nigeria, Zimbabwe etc.

Here we are, at 1224 on a Thursday early afternoon, and Myerson has already tweeted, by my count, 49 times today, mostly to mock others.
This is not, in my view, an individual fitted to sit in judgment over others as a Recorder (p/t judge).

SNP: "We believe decisions about Scotland should be made in Scotland by people who live in Scotland"*
*which is why we want all those decisions to be made in Brussels
Ha. Quite. Scotland, were it to vote for the SNP’s faux-“Independence”, would not be governed by Westminster, true, but it would be governed by the EU, by American or NWO/ZOG influence (NATO etc), by the international banking system etc, and domestically probably by a Pakistani “Scotsman”. Who are the SNP trying to fool? The Scottish people, I suppose.
I see that the SNP is now predicted to win as few as 12 seats (out of 57) this year, from 48 (out of 59) won in 2019. I think that the SNP has had its day as an overwhelming force in Scotland. In 2015, it suddenly shot into prominence with 56 out of 59 Scottish Westminster seats, but the last 9 years have been riven with scandal and underperformance. Above all, not only has Independence not happened, fewer Scots now support it than did a decade ago; it is a minority cause.
Good grief. What a deadhead. This is him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Logan_(politician). Hard to believe that the Foreign Office employed him in some capacity for a (brief? Not so brief?) period (in Shanghai). He also worked for a Chinese company. The gap between when he left f/t education around 2007 and when he started to contest elections (2017) is about 10 years, so there may have been other activity somewhere.

“BREAKING | The new Dutch cabinet just nominated top justice ministry official and former intelligence chief Dick Schoof as the “preferred candidate” for Prime Ministership. And the situation is bad. Real bad.
Dick Schoof – or “Mr. Deepstate” as I’d like to call him – is the former head of the Dutch Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) as well as the former national coordinator of the counter-terrorism unit (NCTV) which is known to focus on combatting “anti-government extremism”. As if that isn’t bad enough, he was also: – behind the Dutch covid regime – involved in the Trump-Russia hoax – behind the cover-up of flight MH17 reports – spying on Dutch citizens here on@X with fake accounts operated by the government.
He’s currently the secretary-general at the Ministry of Justice and Security, which makes him the highest ranking civil servant. He’s quite literally the personification of a technocratic bureaucrat and, – being a former member of the Dutch Labour party – the exact opposite of what the Dutch population has voted for during the elections last November.
@geertwilderspvv should have never given up his rightful claim to Prime Ministership. With a man like this leading the country I’m sure the digital surveillance state we’ve been warning for all these years will be here sooner than expected.”

Late music
The later depth is not there so much, but these were pieces written by a boy of 15, amazingly enough.
Incidentally, slave caravans would pass through the oasis of Siwa in Western Egypt, having travelled from Central Africa en route to the Mediterranean coast or the Nile Delta, as recently as the 1940s.

This is what pisses me off about the Jews and WWII.
Joseph Cohen got really angry at me about how many of his relatives died in WWII. My great grandfather saw his brother shot in the head on the battlefield. Does my family’s trauma count, or is it just the Jews? https://t.co/EqtlaGRuVf
Yes. One frequently sees Jews on Twitter etc [pretending to be] upset that “their family” died, or were displaced, or inconvenienced, during the early 1940s; people that those descended from them and alive today never knew, of course.
British or German people just do not weaponize (or, indeed, monetize via books, films, “reparations”, and “restitution”) their family histories in that way.
My own maternal grandfather [b.1901] was at Dunkirk in 1940, and later in Burma. My maternal grandmother [b.1900] lost two brothers in the First World War (both, I believe, captains of the Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry).
British (and German) people accept such events as historical, and do not constantly try to use them as tags on which to hang contemporary socio-political issues.

This post by Andrew Neil yesterday spells out the cost and reward of failure. Its a scandal!
Holyrood serves no purpose other than to fill the trough for politicians, who otherwise would not survive in the real world of work.
Only 14% of the Welsh support the use of gender quotas when selecting political candidates. Again, woke ideas are nowhere near as popular as elites think (YouGov).
Strange minor incident. Taking a nap this afternoon, after having had a very early start today, I was awoken by a knock at the door of our tiny flat (the days of country houses and Caribbean villas being now long gone). I heard my wife agreeing to donate to the county’s air ambulance charity.
I was rather suspicious about the man at the door wanting bank details “to set up a direct debit“, so intervened and told the fellow that we would give another way. He left with superficial politeness; I could see that he was unhappy at being challenged (though I am not particularly aggressive).
I was concerned, so thought to call the police on their 101 non-emergency service. It then took something like 20 minutes to get beyond the recorded messages and just to get to talk to a human being (a pleasant-sounding lady) from the police and give her the details.
I also tried, twice, to telephone the air ambulance charity people themselves but, after an initial recorded message, was informed “your call cannot be transferred” and an unobtainable signal.
I looked up what the CEO of that charity gets paid: about £119,000 a year.
That small incident was typical of the way in which everything in this country is so screwed and just does not work. For a start, the air ambulance should be an official service, not a ragbag of private charities across the UK.
Secondly, it should be illegal for fundraisers to go around knocking on doors like itinerant gypsies. The public need to be protected.
Thirdly, how is it that the CEO of such a small charity (30 employees) gets a fairly generous salary? Yet their only public telephone number is non-operational. It’s poor.
There are too many boondoggles around, to use the American phrase. The “Major Tom” nonsense, with the quasi-fraudulent daughter and son-in-law, has surely brought that to public attention.
Fourthly, the police are almost absent when you need them. At the same time, the county police have apparently spent many many hours snooping upon and “monitoring” this blog, as they do the social media posts of others. The police need to get back to doing actual, real police work.
As a matter of fact, the Police and Crime Commissioner for the county will be elected this week. At present, it is some useless and enormous woman, a Conservative Party member.

If the Kiev regime imagines that a new army of forced and unwilling recruits will save the day, it is very much mistaken.
When the weather is warmer, and the Stavka gives the order, it is likely that the Russian armies in the east will start to roll, covered by massive artillery barrages and air cover. Any new forces recruited by the Kiev regime will simply be rolled over.

Well, this week I am back on winning form— 6/10, compared to political journalist John Rentoul’s 5/10. I very nearly got more, but could not bring the answers to questions 7 and 10 to mind for some reason; I had no idea about question 5, and guessed wrong on question 9.
Announcement
Regular readers will please be aware that, despite my trial, conviction, and sentence in respect of alleged breaches of the notorious Communications Act 2003, s.127, this blog will continue to be published.
I shall blog later (probably later today) about the trial (held in November 2023) and sentencing hearing (held 14 March 2024).
The blog will continue to be published, but the style will have to change, inasmuch as my freedom to express views and to explain current and historical events has inevitably been restricted by the trial and sentence.
I am not in fact under any greater legal prohibition now than I was a year ago, but it will be readily understood that my having been convicted does apply somewhat of a chilling effect on my freedom to write what I want, or in such terms as I should prefer.
The “usual suspects”, and their dupes in the police and Crown Prosecution Service, will now be watching and “monitoring” (spying and snooping on) my blog in even greater detail than was previously the case.
They may think that they have scored a narrow victory “on points”, as the sport people say; I say merely that we shall see…
Like Sir Thomas More, I shall express my views and opinions in compliance with current law (however misguided and abused that law may be), so far as I can do so without compromising principle and honour.
Quite apart from that, I think that, in the circumstances of repression and “control” in which we (in the UK and some other countries) live, all social-national people have to look beyond the mere expression of views and the mere analysis of events to actually accomplishing the germinal basis of a different and more advanced society.
[Update, 9 June 2024:I should point out that my sentence, which was called (some days or weeks later) “absurdly lenient” by the malicious and conspiratorial Jew-Zionist group, “Campaign Against Antisemitism” (which admits to having pushed for 7 years for me to be prosecuted), was made by the learned (and generally quite fair) sentencing judge on the specific recommendation of the Probation Service officer who met me in mid-December 2023 and later drafted a pre-sentence report for the Court. The sentence itself (a “community order” with 15 “rehabilitation days”) exactly followed the recommendation made in that report.]

Talking point
[from the Daily Telegraph]
“A former Nato commander predicts our future – and it looks terrifying.
Ever since Erskine Childers’s 1903 novel The Riddle of the Sands urged the British government to treat Germany, not France, as the leading threat of the new century, thrillers have often been co-opted as a means of warning policymakers about under-appreciated perils – with the advantage that such a book may be more likely to keep the reader awake than a dispassionate report.
Three years ago, the novelist and decorated ex-Marine Elliot Ackerman collaborated with former Nato Supreme Allied Commander James Stavridis on a political thriller called 2034.
The novel imagines – or predicts; we’ll see – that in the next decade a complacent America will suddenly find its military technologies outclassed by those of its rivals, and when pulled into a conflict with China in 2034, will resort to tactical nuclear strikes, resulting in the tit-for-tat annihilation of Shanghai and San Diego.
The book ends on the brink of a new world order, with a truce called but the US and China so badly damaged that India and parts of Africa are able to vie with them for superpower status.
Now, Ackerman and Stavridis have dusted down their crystal ball for a sequel: 2054. This time, the threat facing humanity isn’t nuclear destruction, but the event that keeps futurists awake at night, “the Singularity”, defined here as “an ‘intelligence explosion’, the equivalent of thousands of years of biological evolution crammed into months or even weeks when machine and human learning [will] integrate into a single consciousness”.
The Singularity may bring about such advantages as immortality, if you’re happy to have your brain uploaded into a mechanical super-body: useful in a future in which pandemics are commonplace. But it’s going to be bad news for the enemies of whichever nation or corporation wins the race to develop the tech.“
A question which has concerned me since I first read predictions of what seemed to be possible human/robot melding in then-unpublished manuscripts by Rudolf Steiner and Valentin Tomberg.
As far as I know, the relevant Steiner manuscripts, and probably also the Tomberg ones, are still unpublished. I do not know whether they might be in that online archive. Probably not. I read them well over 40 years ago, in a basement, from dusty files containing brittle old typescript.

Not that I fully favour Marine le Pen (her father was better), but this has to be a positive move. The “Overton Window” is moving, and it is moving across Europe, except in Britain, where the “usual suspects” have a stranglehold on the mainstream media, politics, the legal system etc.
That is not to say that nothing is happening in the UK, but it is happening under the surface, as in all police states; for that is what the UK is becoming. Not a full police state, as yet; very much (usually) a “velvet glove” (“iron fist in velvet glove”) one.
The direction of travel, though, is pretty clear, looking at what happened during the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic.
Most of the population complied with every last stupid, silly, pointless, made-up-on-a-whim, completely ridiculous “rule” invented by “Boris”-idiot, Little Matt Hancock and the misnamed “SAGE” committee (I always called it “DUMB”, i.e. “Department Under Matt and Boris”): “the Rule of Six”, “social distancing” of 1, 2, or 3 metres, the facemask nonsense etc.
Most people complied with being shepherded about in, or outside, supermarkets by bossy “security” dogsbodies or insolent little shop-girls. How the latter must have hated having had to give up instructing shoppers where to stand and walk, and having had to return to their usual routine of filling shelves and serving customers, rather than barking at them…
Quite a number of members of the public, either from misplaced fear, or from sheer malice, were willing to “report” (denounce, as it was always called in the Soviet Union under Stalin) their neighbours for “crimes” such as taking a ride in the car or on a motorbike, or having a few friends over for a drink at home.
The very compliant ones, and the enthusiastic collaborators, can be written off. Useless people. Our interest, at this stage, is in the non-compliant part of the population. They may still have some fight in them.

“Former head of the Czech intelligence service: Russia is crushing Ukraine, heading for victory.
Russia is systematically destroying the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to its industry and logistics, and the West is unable to oppose it, said the former head of the Czech military intelligence service, General Petr Pelc, in an interview for “Radio Universe”.
“Russia is crushing Ukraine in a slow and systematic way. We all send it money, part of which disappears somewhere, part does not even reach Ukraine, and thus we only prolong the agony and increase the number of dead people,” Peltz believes. – “
Weapons and soldiers win battles, and industry and logistics win wars. That’s all. The question is what we call a military victory. In two years of this armed conflict, Russia increased the productivity of its military-industrial complex 15 times. We are not for that, of course capable ,” he stated.“
As I have always said, short of a palace revolution in Moscow followed by complete anarchy, Russia cannot lose this war, and will not lose it.
My recent trial and sentencing hearing
Background
On 30 November 2023, I was tried under Communications Act 2003, s.127 in respect of 5 counts of having breached the said Act by having allegedly posted 5 pages of this blog.
In fact, only small parts of those 5 pages were alleged to have been “grossly offensive” (a few comments, remarks and cartoons).
To put the accusations into context, today’s blog post is number 1,799; tomorrow’s will be number 1,800. 1,800 blog posts published since November or December 2016.
Even taking the last few years, there have been blog pages posted almost every day, at least 1,000 in the past 3 years. I stood accused of having posted 5 pages, out of which pages about 2% of the content was supposedly “grossly offensive”.
I do not propose to go into the decade of persecution of me engaged in by Jewish Zionists, pro-Israel Jews. Anyone interested in the background can find it on the blog easily enough via the search box. Suffice to say that there has been a decade of false complaints and reports to police, politicians, professional regulators etc.
The organizations persecuting me (and many others, from Al Jazeera TV to David Icke, to Alison Chabloz, to various social-national political figures) have been the Campaign Against Antisemitism [“CAA”] and UK Lawyers for Israel [“UKLFI”]. The memberships or supporter-cadres tend to overlap to a degree.
I was wrongfully and (as it later transpired) unlawfully disbarred in 2016. I was later invited to re-open the matter, but declined, partly because I might have been re-instated at the Bar but fined heavily; in any case, the Bar is now a dustbin as far as I am concerned.
Various malicious and false (based on lies) complaints were made about me to the police from about 2012. All such complaints were from CAA-connected Jewish individuals. Not one was upheld, but I was subjected to two “voluntary” police interviews and a number of insolent telephone calls from police drones.
The last such lying complaint about me was made in 2021 by one Stephen Silverman, who grandly styles himself “Head of Investigations and Enforcement” at the “CAA”. My account of that can also be found on the blog. That complaint was thrown out by the Crown Prosecution Service [“CPS”] in early 2022, but the “CAA” persisted in trying to get the matter re-opened via the so-called “victim’s right of review”.
In a clear misuse of their powers, the CPS, having informed me that I would not be prosecuted for the (completely untrue) “racially-aggravated harassment” of Silverman (for which there was no evidence whatsoever), dropped that potential charge, but then (a year later) charged me of having posted 5 “grossly offensive” pages from this blog. Though never arrested, I was charged by post early last year, 2023.
The “CAA” are still tweeting and scribbling on their website that they have pursued me for 7 years (in reality, longer), and that my “case” was only brought to court after “Lord” Ian Austin (former Labour MP) wrote directly to the Director of Public Prosecutions to demand that I be prosecuted.
The prosecution of me was purely political.
🇬🇧 Following action from CAA, former barrister Ian Millard appears in court over five offences contrary to Communications Acthttps://t.co/FVWeiwwzJ4

After CAA action, former barrister Ian Millard found guilty of offences relating to comments about Jews.
Once again, the CPS dragged its feet and only acted after we applied pressure.
So far, in the past days, no tweet from them about my sentence, which they no doubt think too light.
The trial, and later sentencing hearing
The trial took place over one day in November 2023. It was presided over by District Judge [stipendiary magistrate, in the formerly-used title] Greenfield at Southampton Magistrates’ Court. I represented myself.
The old saw has it that “a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client“. Very true words, but I had reasons for doing so. Firstly, I have not been, nominally, a barrister for many years, and not a practising barrister for about 16 years.
I have not been involved in criminal law (except some corporate “crime” and international extradition matters) for even longer, since the early/mid 1990s. I was therefore treated more loosely by the Court, as being a non-lawyer. Also, I have little but contempt for the spineless Bar of today, and would not wish to be represented by one of them, even though in some respects I might have been better off having an advocate who was current on the law and practice of the criminal courts. I undoubtedly made mistakes in my Court presentation etc.
I found the judge to be generally courteous, eminently fair in most respects, and willing to put the rather poor police and CPS case to the test where he felt that it was particularly weak.
The judge was, however, unwilling to listen to argument about why I had even been charged, i.e. the obvious (and now admitted) political pressure brought to bear on the CPS, which had caved in to pressure from the Jewish/Zionist lobby (as the “CAA” itself admits on its website and Twitter/X account).
The judge (fairly enough, in a sense) made the point that I could go to the High Court on a judicial review application, work that I once did as Counsel, about 30 years ago. That would have had the effect of automatically staying the criminal prosecution, possibly for a year or more. Yes, in theory, but someone on his own, without money? Difficult.
Silverman from the “CAA” was in Court, but he was not a witness, and gave no evidence; just sat at the back of the Court. Afraid of being cross-examined, no doubt, and as I had pointed out in preliminary documentation.
I have no idea why the police never charged Silverman with, at very least, wasting police time over his demonstrably false accusation that I had “racially and/or religiously harassed” him in 2021, which brought two police drones to my door (on my birthday, at that) and effectively compelled me to attend two “voluntary” interviews (the first called off for technical reasons when I had already attended).
In my view, Silverman could have been charged with perversion of the course of justice: “Perverting the course of justice and witness intimidation are serious offences that undermine the administration of justice by falsely accusing people or withholding crucial evidence thus potentially damaging police investigations and wasting courts’ time” [Sentencing Council].
As in other aspects of this case, there are serious questions to be answered around the role of Silverman and the “CAA”, and his/their apparent influence over the police and CPS, but as matters stand they remain unanswered and may remain unanswered.
Reverting to the trial itself, I had been intending to make a submission at “half-time” (after close of the Prosecution case) of “no case to answer”, and on at least two grounds, but the judge (very fairly) pre-empted that (because I was treated as a non-lawyer and unrepresented by a practising advocate), and did it for me, in effect, by grilling Prosecution Counsel (instructed by the CPS) for a bit, before retiring to consider the matter over the lunchtime adjournment.
Sadly for me, the judge decided that the case could continue (I think that it was touch-and-go), so it did. I should not have bothered to give evidence but did (a mistake; I was very tired), and was briefly though not much cross-examined.
The judge gave a fairly brief summing-up and, in my now almost-lay opinion, said one or two things that seemed to me to provide possible appeal points, before convicting me on all 5 counts. A short discussion about potential sentence level then occurred between judge and Prosecution Counsel, and I had to get up and politely insist that I thought that another view was possible about level of sentence; and that was that. Adjourned for 3 months.
The matter reconvened in early 2024 and was adjourned after the Prosecution applied to ask for a Criminal Behaviour Order restricting my blogging slightly.
The sentencing hearing took place on 14 March 2024. The sentencing judge (District Judge/magistrate), District Judge Callaway (a former Deputy Chief Metropolitan Magistrate) presided, District Judge Greenfield having in the intervening period been gazetted and appointed to the Circuit Bench as His Honour Judge Greenfield (now sitting at Reading County Court).
I have to say that I found the sentencing judge, D.J. Callaway, to be as generally fair and courteous as had been the trial judge, D.J. Greenfield.
I had drafted in advance a Defendant’s Argument on Sentence, examining the relevant law as well as my own circumstances, which the sentencing judge was kind enough to say “was very well put together“, if I recall his words correctly. Maybe I still have the remnants of the barristerial skills that (if I may immodestly remember) led some (though not all!) judges to commend me in Court all those years ago. A different world…
The cutbacks in court funding led to one farcical situation when it transpired that the sentencing judge had not seen the long email (about various other matters), and which I had emailed about 10 days in advance of the hearing, requesting that it be printed out and supplied to the judge.
Not only that, the very efficient Clerk of the Court was unable to find the email at all. Fortunately, Prosecution Counsel, not present in person but appearing like a disembodied spirit via video link (something I had never seen before), and on a small TV high up on a side wall, was able to forward the email (which I had copied to the CPS as a courtesy).
The Prosecution’s application for a Criminal Behaviour Order against me re. my blogging was refused, the judge agreeing, in effect, with me that the proposed Order had been so badly-drafted that it would be impossible to enforce and anyway added nothing useful.
The CPS really are a bunch of clowns; not even honest clowns, looking at the way I have been treated over the past two and a half years.
My submission on sentence, that it should be a conditional discharge, or small fine, was not upheld by the judge. Prosecution Counsel, who on the previous occasion had intimated that the CPS were looking for an uplift on sentence based on the idea that my case was a “hate crime”, despite there being no actual victim (accepted by the trial judge and the CPS at and prior to trial), agreed with the sentencing judge that a “lower level community order” would be the correct penalty.
I was sentenced to a “community order” (akin to the “probation” of former years), which involves 15 meetings with the Probation Service, spread over 9 months, so about one meeting every 2-3 weeks.
In addition, I am to pay a total of nearly £800 in costs, including a notional “surcharge”. Money that I do not have right now.
Crowdfunder
In relation to the above-mentioned costs, I have just set up a crowdfunder. If anyone can help, either with a money donation, or via sharing the crowdfunder link on social media or elsewhere, I should be most grateful.
I shall blog about the (slightly amusing) aftermath of the trial and sentence tomorrow.
[Update, 13 September 2024: As of yesterday, I do not have to attend any further meetings with the Probation Service, despite not having actually attended very many: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2024/09/13/diary-blog-13-september-2024/. My sentence is therefore effectively at an end. “The usual suspects” ((( ))) will be fuming].
