That tweeter was the wife and (paid for via MP expenses) assistant to the former MP for Poole, who was narrowly binned at the 2024 General Election. She now runs a party or caucus called #Moderates, which seems to exist only in her own head. Why she thinks that the “Triple Lock” should be done away with, I do not know. Waste of money? I think that is wrong, looking at all the rubbish on which state funds are wasted. At least most pensioners are real British people, for one thing.

Basic Income is the way forward, though.

Any political party threatening the Triple Lock is doomed; pensioners will not vote for it, and the “grey vote” is the most important single factor in any UK general election.

I have always thought the existence of a “union” for students absolutely ridiculous anyway.

The silver lining to the present atrocities being committed by Israeli Jews is that even fewer people will now want to listen to the endless anti-German (and anti-European) Jew-Zionist propaganda re. the 1920s, 1930s and early/mid 1940s, which has as its real agenda the bolstering of Jewish and Zionist power in the present-day.

I disagree that 16-y-o people should vote. I should prefer a voting age of 28.

As to Starmer-stein’s desperate ploy to increase the Labour vote in 2028 or 2029, I doubt that it will have the huge effect for which he and his cronies may be hoping. The 16-17 year-olds may, most of them, prefer Labour to other parties (at present), but most will not vote, and many may not vote for Labour, especially after the spending cuts etc.

I noted years ago on the blog that Starmer-stein seemed to be politically clueless.

The “Ukrainian Army” is a collection of sacrificial cannon-fodder, commanded (ineptly) by a bunch of thugs posing as military officers, right up to the rank of general. It is losing (by death, serious injury, and capture) about 1,000 a day, which is probably 2,000 a day if you take into account desertions. It is, therefore, hardly surprising that there are no volunteers any more, and that the regime has to use press-gangs to kidnap people off the street.

This could end with the USA on one side, and virtually every other country in the world on the other side.

The 20th Century was “the American Century” but we are now in a successor-situation.

If Moscow or Petersburg are hit by serious missile attacks, Kiev might find itself flattened by nuclear attack, and if the Germans continue to assist the Kiev regime to that extent, Germany makes itself a target.

Has that ship not already sailed? Interesting, though. Were Turkey to use its massive army against Israel, that might be the end of Israel, notwithstanding Israel’s nuclear weapons.

It is only just over a century since Ottoman Turkey ruled what are now called Lebanon, Israel, Syria, and many more current regional states beside.

Incidentally, I think that many naive people think that Schindler’s List, adapted from the novel, Schindler’s Ark, is “history”, a factual account of events, whereas it is actually “faction”, i.e. mixed fact and fiction. You might compare it to the book and film, Day of the Jackal. In the latter, most of the main characters existed, as did most of the surrounding factual basis— the Algerian conflict, the OAS, General de Gaulle, the rebel leaders etc. The story, however, was a skilful blend of real events and made-up events and people.

As a matter of fact, the author of Schindler’s Ark (at time of writing of this blog still alive at the age of 89), was only a small boy in the early 1940s, and is Australian. His book is a novel, not “history” as such.

Rachael Maskell. Think I have not heard of her previously. Looks and sounds actually insane, as Dan Hodges says (and rarely do I agree with him!). She must be mentally-ill. Alternatively, she looks as if she might be affected by some drug or other. Her demeanour is very odd.

I would, had I the political power, “stop the boats”.

How? By shooting down all cross-Channel invaders, and by rooting-out those facilitating the invasion (both on the European mainland and in the UK itself).

I should also “stop the boats” by degrading and punishing the Navy and Border Force (“Farce”) if they were to prove unable or unwilling to do their duty, then by replacing those orgs with another marine force, and/or by “privateers”, i.e. licensed “stop the boats” motor vessels crewed by bounty-hunters.

Further, I would task special forces (or, again, private and specially-licensed bounty-hunters, if necessary, i.e. if the SAS, SBS etc refuse to do their duty), those “privateers” or “bounty-hunters” to be charged with eliminating the gangsters in the EU (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany etc) who are facilitating much of the invasion. Also, the fake “charity” “grifters” and other pro-invasion traitors.

It seems clear that the USA was induced by the American Jewish lobby and Israel directly to attack Iran because Israel was in serious danger of losing the recent contest, its international airport closed, its ports mostly closed or avoided by foreign ships.

I have noted several times on the blog the ever-more-voluminous reservoir of non-voters and their potential power. More than 40% of eligible voters did not vote in 2024. That may or may not increase to 50%. If any movement could capture that 40%-50%, it would very likely also capture another 30%, and so 70%-80% of the national vote. Our time will then have come.

Trump gave Zelensky a warning to negotiate with Russia, a warning not only verbal but given in real-life terms, by temporarily cutting off arms and ammunition. If Zelensky ignores the warning, shipments will again be interrupted, and may never restart.

Zelensky’s unwillingness to give Russia most of what it wants means that the war will continue until Russia prevails over all eastern Ukraine (Ukraine east of the Dnieper), and that will eventually happen even if American armaments continue to be gifted to the Kiev regime.

  2. Russia to rule Crimea;

A rather nice Chevy Suburban. I have just looked at a few recent tweets by Steele. He is, it seems to me, in danger of becoming obsessed by the idea of Trump as Russian secret (or not-so-secret) agent.

Reform has probably fallen back a bit by reason of two factors: its kneejerk pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby pronouncements, and the perception (seen in comments by pro-Reform Matt Goodwin, as well in some by Tice etc) that Reform wants to radically cut back the Welfare State.

As for the Conservative Party, probably damaged beyond repair now. 14 years of terrible misgovernment in almost all if not all areas, and now “led” by hopeless Nigerian woman Kemi Badenoch.

That is because Starmer-stein and his cabal are not really a Labour government, except in terms of label; they are a Labour Friends of Israel regime. Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Liz Kendall, all of that rubbish lot.

High Peak is an unfortunate constituency. First they had Conservative Friends of Israel MP Robert Largan (2017-2024), now they have Labour Friends of Israel MP Jon Pearce (2024-). The difference is mainly the party label.

More seriously, Basic Income is the way forward. Akin to Pension (Guarantee) Credit, but rolled out to every (real) English/British citizen (i.e. not fuzzie-wuzzies straight off the boats).

The rest of that thread is unintentionally funny: some Labourite cretin fantasizing about how much better this fake-Labour government would have been had either Liz Kendall (WHAT?!) or (Jesus H. Christ!) Gloria de Piero had become Labour leader! I do not know much about Rod Stewart, but I get the impression that he is someone who does like to give someone a chance. Starmer-stein has had his chance, and continues to do things that make him and Labour either hated or held in contempt, or both.

Needless to say, for me, Reform UK is underwhelming, not really “national”, and is pro-Jewish lobby, pro-Israel, pro-finance-capitalism etc, BUT also the only game in town to crush the existing System party set-up that has been around for so long, certainly since the 1930s, and effectively since about 1900 if not prior to that date.

For me, it scarcely matters that Reform UK is itself basically a germinal System party, because its role is to chuck Labour and Conservative parties into the dustbin of history. After that, we shall see…

It does not surprise me that Starmer-stein is morally corrupt, and the same goes for quite a few of his MPs (and the “Conservative” ones). What has slightly surprised me over several recent years (since about 2009, when I returned to live full-time in the UK) is how utterly clueless, totally ignorant, so many MPs are, including Cabinet ministers and, indeed, Prime Ministers (Starmer-stein, Liz Truss, Boris-idiot, Theresa May, Cameron-Levita, Sunak, even Gordon Brown).

Huge amounts of money are wasted on all sorts of nonsense, such as the nuclear-weapons-carrying fighter-bombers the UK is apparently going to waste money buying from the USA. Do the cretins pretending to run this country really believe that Russia, as it now is, wants to invade Western Europe, even invade the UK? The idea is ludicrous.

Meanwhile, the only invasion that matters is continuing: 500-1,000 across the Channel most days now, with a further ~5,000 coming in “legally” as (supposedly) “high-skilled” workers (who never leave), spouses, fiancees, tourists (who never go back), “students” (who never go back) etc. Also, births to non-Europeans already here (about 1,600 births a day occur in the UK, of which the majority now are non-white). Call it a total of about 7,000. Every day…

People spend 13, often 16, sometimes as many as 20 years, in full-time education in this country, and most know FA. Truly radical change needed.

Re. Labour’s recent supposed “stunning victory” in the recent Hamilton by-election (Scottish Parliament): when you look at the figures, Labour won but with only 31.6% of the vote. The SNP vote fell markedly (unsurprisingly) to 29.4%, and Reform UK, which had not previously put up a candidate in the constituency, came in a close third, with 26.1%; all three main candidates were within a band of 1,400 votes.

The Conservative Party got only 6%, a huge fall from its previous vote, and the six other candidates (including the LibDem) lost their deposits.

There probably are very stupid people who support Labour, and who think that Starmer-Labour is the same party once headed by Attlee, Harold Wilson etc. Not really. Interesting name. “Metreveli” (“v” not “w”) is a Georgian surname. Wonder what is her background. “Florence” (her middle name) is, I think (subject to correction), a rather old-fashioned English name. My own maternal grandmother was Florence Eva [+ surname].

Seems that the new SIS Chief at one time anyway lived in Pimlico (quite convenient for the HQs of both MI5 and MI6/SIS).
