Russia have warned the UN for almost a year that Ukraine have plans to use the Zaporizhzhia NPP as a “dirty nuclear bomb”, in order to to blame it on Russia and justify NATO military intervention.

Great Britain must go directly to war against Russia" – Lava of the Defense Committee of the British Parliament Tobias Ellwood “ We are at war in Europe, we need to introduce martial law,” Ellwood said. pic.twitter.com/L677xmPbxa
That lunatic, Ellwood, will not be happy until this country is a heap of blackened, radioactive ash. Incidentally, he is a Reserve colonel of the 77th Brigade psychological warfare unit.
Funny, really. The remnants of the British Army apparently gearing up for a war with Russia; meanwhile, the UK is being invaded (“legally” or “illegally”) by about a million migrant-invaders every year. Soon there will be nothing much (for whatever is left of the Army, Royal Navy, and RAF) to defend…
Ukraine wants you to believe that after Russia bombed its own pipelines, they’re now going to bomb their own nuclear plant! https://t.co/l0CUK53iUQ

The Jew Zelensky knows that his time is limited in terms of bringing NATO directly into war with Russia. The Western populations are tiring of “Ukraine” as a trendy cause, and Western governments are tiring of sending almost endless amounts of money, arms, and ammunition to the Kiev regime, especially now that the much-trumpeted counter-offensive has almost if not actually stalled.
Zelensky and his corrupt and brutal cabal have only one real chance— to bring NATO into the war directly on the “Ukrainian” (Kiev regime) side. That therefore is their aim. Method? Perhaps to attack the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, blame that on Russia, and hope that NATO then either declares war on Russia (unlikely) or starts to fight without declaration of war (more likely).
We could well be looking at either full-scale nuclear war not far down the line, or at least full-scale conventional war in Europe alone, which might or might not later trigger a strategic nuclear exchange involving the USA.
Americans should think carefully before firing on Russia, or helping Western European states to do so. The USA may have several times the nuclear-destructive power of Russia overall, but if the top 50 cities of the USA were hit and/or destroyed by nuclear missiles, that means the end of American power (and society) for a century or more.
Yes, the USA might destroy as many or more Russian cities, but the USA would still be a chaotic mess of destroyed cities, violent social disorder, and tens of millions —perhaps hundreds of millions— of dead and dying. Think very very carefully before bringing such consequences on yourselves and others.
“You carry in your blood the holy inheritance of your fathers and forefathers. You do not know those who have vanished in endless ranks into the darkness of the past. But they all live in you and walk in your blood upon the earth that consumed them in battle and toil and in which their bodies have long decayed.
Your blood is therefore something holy. In it your parents gave you not only a body, but your nature. To deny your blood is to deny yourself. No one can change it. But each decides to grow the good that one has inherited and suppress the bad. Each is also given will and courage.
You do not have only the right, but also the duty to pass your blood on to your children, for you are a member of the chain of generations that reaches from the past into eternity, and this link of the chain that you represent must do its part so that the chain is never broken.
But if your blood has traits that will make your children unhappy and burdens to the state, then you have the heroic duty to be the last. The blood is the carrier of life. You carry in it the secret of creation itself. Your blood is holy, for in it God’s will lives.”

I have blogged for the past year or more that the best idea is for Russia to take the areas of Ukraine east of the Dnieper, and for some Ukrainian successor to the Zelensky regime to control the larger area west of the Dnieper, and centred on Lvov. That would leave aside the Kiev area (which is on both sides of the Dnieper), Crimea, and the Black Sea littoral centred on Odessa.
Crimea was always Russian, with a mainly (now almost entirely) Russian population. Kiev should probably have some kind of special status, and Odessa either the same or a degree of autonomy, with Russia controlling the Black Sea coast to a depth of about 50-100 miles.
“Boris” Johnson and the Lebedev family
Saw a recording of a documentary (I think Channel 4) about “Boris”-idiot and the Lebedev father and son (with the old KGB, its successor-agencies, and British SIS and MI5, as spear-carriers).
The whole thing is rather odd, and there are certainly questions to be answered, but I cannot see Johnson as a Russian agent, not as such. For one thing, he is at root completely unideological; any such connection would be money-based or based upon getting help to push “Boris” upward (he was Foreign Secretary at the time he visited one of the Italian castles owned by the Lebedevs).
At the time, as now, the Lebedevs controlled msm outlets such as the Independent and Evening Standard.
My tentative conclusion at the end was that, possibly/probably what happened was that the younger Lebedev was offered a peerage for straight cash to “Boris”, paid somewhere offshore, protected by layers of (perhaps) offshore trusts and companies, such as Panamanian trusts and/or numbered bank accounts. A personal deal, nothing to do with the old KGB, or its SVR successor, though the details would no doubt be of interest to the latter, and to the Kremlin.
I concede that I have no evidence at all with which to back the above speculation. Pure speculation and hunch, backed only by the facts as known. Why did Johnson later nominate Lebedev junior for a peerage? Against Security Service and other advice, too.
Of course, at the time Johnson visited the Lebedevs in Italy, he was Foreign Secretary, not Prime Minister, so could not have nominated anyone for a peerage, but his unmerited likely elevation to No.10 was a good each-way bet at the time, and anyway no money need to have been paid unless and until.
If it happened, how much money? Name any figure north of £10M. £20M is good, £100M even better.
“Boris’s” pension.
Nuclear war visualization
I haven’t heard Medvedev’s nuclear threats for over a week; I almost started worrying about how he’s doing.
Meanwhile, scientists have created a visualization of a nuclear war between the USA and russia.
I post that despite it having been posted first by a Kiev-regime supporter, because we should take even the possibility seriously, and stop stoking the fires of the war. Take away Zelensky’s ricebowl— stop sending arms and ammunition, and money, to the Kiev regime.
Those with real power and influence in the West must stop the slide to nuclear war, before it is too late.

Interesting, but only a form of real social nationalism can save Britain now.
Most Brits loathe Woke Political Correctness. They think it’s gone too far. They feel unable to challenge the beliefs of the ruling class. They think cancel culture is ridiculous. And they hate being lectured to by hypocritical woke corporations.
Don't believe what you read on Twitter. Most ordinary Brits think immigration is too high, want it reduced, are increasingly sceptical its good for the country, and want their borders controlled.

“Banks are to be warned by ministers that they must protect free speech as increasing numbers of customers are having their accounts closed for holding allegedly controversial views.

I have blogged about this previously. Farage is, as the report notes, not alone. Repression on freedom of expression by banks (bank staff) has been a fact for a few years now. Laura Towler, Sam Melia, and Mark Collett, all of Patriotic Alternative, had their personal bank accounts closed. Straight political bias.
The only thing that will stop the trend to censorship and repression is if bank directors, managers etc are held accountable directly. The same goes for MPs, msm talking heads etc.
Incidentally, maybe 99% of the repression of freedom of expression in the UK comes from the malicious and manipulative Jew-Zionist element; certainly 90%+. See, for example, my own experiences, published at the top of this blog post. “They” are almost always the troublemakers, if you investigate the matter.

These fruits would normally be found growing along the equator but, in the past few years, climate change and year-round warm temperatures have led to a produce revolution in Italy’s deep south.
“Italy is turning into a tropical country. That’s why I also grow papayas, mangoes, passion fruit, baby bananas dubbed ‘bananito’, black sapote [a soft, orange-fleshed fruit], annona [custard apple] and even coffee and chocolate plants,” Mr Palazzolo [says].
“Tropical fruit is the future of Italy’s agriculture; it will save the country from the negative effects of rising temperatures and crazy, wild rainfalls.”
“The farmer still grows traditional fruits such as pears, citrus fruits and peaches, and vegetables such as tomatoes and courgettes, but in smaller quantities due to the tropical-like climate that has taken hold in Italy, particularly in the south.”

The only way to stop the epidemic of drug abuse in the West is to eliminate the users. Typically misleading Sky News. In fact, it was not “the hottest June everin UK” (as seen in that tweet) but the hottest June since records began, which was only in 1884. As the report does say, previous hot-June records were reached in both 1940 and 1976. Even the headline, “hottest June on record“, though technically correct, is misleading, because many will assume that records go back to maybe 1700 or so, which is not the case on a reliable or consistent basis.
In historical terms, 139 years (1884-2023) is almost nothing.
We know that there were relatively warm periods previously in recorded European history, notably in the “Mediaeval Warm Period”, often estimated as having happened from about 950 AD to about 1250 AD: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Warm_Period.
There was no measurement of temperature then, but warmer climatic conditions can be inferred from forms of agriculture known to have been current, and from animal and plant remains, tree rings etc.
There are various theories as to why those historical periods were warmer than other times before and after, but one thing is for sure— it had little or nothing to do with “carbon emissions”. These were societies without very large populations (the Roman Empire at height may have had 60 million inhabitants), without the internal combustion engine, without industry except on a very small scale, and without the widespread use of coal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coal#History.
Those two warm periods hosted higher levels of civilization and culture than the cooler periods on either side of each. Be careful what you wish for.

I agree with that tweeter about the sheer audacity, as I think I would term it, of the online fraud and “grifter” “Jack Monroe”.
That sheer gall is what really sets her apart from the numerous other online “grifters” around— her sheer criminal audacity, as well as her relentless use of about half a dozen tactics: pretending to be an “activist” for “the poor”; various mental and physical problems (useful to be able to blame critics for making them worse, though most if not all of them are non-existent); pretending to be short of money and/or living in poverty (rather than a house, possibly with a sea view, in a rather expensive Essex suburb); attaching herself to this or that group as expedient— LGBTQXYZ, disabled, “poor”, struggling single mother (despite her affluent family living in the same area), “socialist” (despite her false “feed a family for £20 a week” claims, “cosmopolitan” (despite rarely having been outside Essex), and displaying little or no obvious knowledge or education), etc.
Then there are the fake biographical details, such as having taken a leading role after or even during the Grenfell fire incident.
What is truly amazing is how many people, even some journalists, still believe all of her rubbish.
I still fail to understand why a black woman in Bristol is (I think) still facing Crown Court trial for allegedly having crowdfunded for legal costs to make a civil claim that (allegedly or apparently) never happened, and then having (allegedly) kept the monies raised for her personal use, but “Jack Monroe” raised monies similarly, supposedly to sue Lee Anderson MP, then did not even send preliminary formal complaint to Lee Anderson, and quite plainly ripped-off the said monies for her own uses, yet (so far) is not charged with anything. Why not?

His column this week is worth reprinting in detail:
“What is conservative about privatisation? What has it conserved? How has it helped the nation be stronger and safer?
Though there are many more, I will take just three examples.
Once, Britain had a first-rate nuclear power industry and could build its own atomic power stations. Then we privatised that and decades of experience and wisdom were scattered to the winds.
And now we have to get the Chinese, a despotic menace, to provide the nuclear energy we will so badly need, very soon, thanks to our mad dogma-driven destruction of coal-fired power stations.
Then come the railways, ripped to pieces so that pretend capitalists – sustained by far bigger subsidies than British Rail ever got – could trouser taxpayers’ money for providing a worse service than the one they replaced. In a bitter paradox much of the system is now run by foreign (nationalised) railway concerns. And this is a great British invention we gave to the world.
And now there is water. Thames Water, the vital strategic supply for the national capital and the economically crucial region around it, is now virtually bankrupt. Its boss quit suddenly last week. The official version is that the company may simply collapse under the weight of its debts, now £14 billion.
Under one of its recent owners, a foreign bank, £2.7 billion was taken out of the company in dividends, while debts rose from £3.4 billion to £10.8 billion. They have not since stopped rising, while Thames Water has become notorious for unfixed leaks and disgusting discharges of sewage into rivers.
You might think renationalisation is the obvious solution. But it will be hugely expensive, as the pension funds and other shareholders cannot simply be dispossessed without compensation. And here is the fascinating thing. You will not hear any significant voices in Sir Keir Starmer’s very Left-wing Labour Party calling for a full renationalisation.
The modern Left is keen to nationalise childhood and what used to be the family. It defies any attempts to reform the NHS or the schools for the benefit of the public. But it long ago abandoned its 1945 enthusiasm for state ownership of the commanding heights of the economy.
But that was in the lost days when Labour was led by patriots who wanted to make the country stronger. They have all gone.
And you might say that if Labour will not renationalise these failed private enterprises, what use is it? And I would agree with you.
If we want to undo this undoubted catastrophe, then rescue will not come from Sir Keir. Patriotic conservatives will have to nerve themselves to admit that the whole thing was a disastrous mistake and pledge themselves to put it right. If they do, they’ll be surprised at just how much support they will get.“
[Daily Mail]
Incidentally, while I concede that expropriation without compensation is contra international law, my inclination at this point is to say “and your point is?“…
“Senior ministers are expecting a “total clearout” of Tory MPs ahead of the next election, as party sources cited the experience of Boris Johnson’s premiership, the increasing stresses of the job and a continuing slump in the polls as reasons for a forthcoming bumper crop of departures.
More than 40 Conservative MPs have already announced they will step down at the next election – the most for a ruling party since the exodus of 100 Labour MPs ahead of the 2010 election in the wake of the expenses scandal and 13 years in government.
A senior party source said they were expecting “lots more” of the 352 Tory MPs to announce they were leaving as the election approaches. Insiders said the political chaos of recent years meant many had stayed in parliament much longer than they had intended. “There are loads more to come, there will be a total clearout,” said a senior party figure.”

“The White House has opened the door to an audacious plan to block sunlight from hitting the surface of the Earth in a bid to halt global warming.

“Half of the social housing in London is occupied by immigrant-led households. In my heavily council-owned neighbourhood, the students who flood the pavements on weekday afternoons are nearly all ethnically Asian or African.
Last week, a government impact statement estimated that within three years the bill for housing asylum seekers is on track to multiply by five times: to £30 million a day or £11 billion a year.
Indeed, one of the biggest pull factors drawing migrants from Calais is that France doesn’t provide uninvited visitors housing in the way that Britain does.
...asylum is a sideshow. It serves the function of the magician’s sleight of hand. The audience is distracted by one motion while the trick is slyly performed with another. Britain’s population is soaring from legal immigration.
Last year a Conservative government let 1.2 million people move to the UK, resulting in net immigration of 606,000. In a statistically meticulous report, Migration Watch calculates that if this same level of ingress is sustained, the UK’s population will rise to between 83 million and 87 million by 2046.
This will require between six and eight million more homes – the equivalent of 15 to 18 Birminghams. Apologies for the catastrophism, but that’s assuming the 606,000 annual influx remains constant, whereas the trend since Tony Blair came to power has been for net inward migration to keep rising.
Most new adult immigrants are of childbearing age, and Britain’s overwhelmingly non-European arrivals abundantly hail from cultures that favour larger families.
At current rates of immigration, between 263,000 and 313,000 homes would have to be built each year to accommodate rising population (in addition to the new homes a steady-state population requires, because buildings don’t last for ever). At current rates of immigration, between 263,000 and 313,000 homes would have to be built each year to accommodate rising population.
High immigration puts enormous pressure on the NHS – but we needn’t even go there.
Neither need we address the cultural implications of a foreign-born population already at 17 per cent of England and Wales – up from just over 13 per cent in only 2011.
Whatever your politics, this isn’t a matter of generosity and niceness. Even if you’re sympathetic with the plight of foreigners who merely want a better life, Britain doesn’t have the housing, much less the social housing, to accommodate the soaring population that results from current levels of immigration.“
[Daily Mail]
Down the line, a UK civil war, not a race war as such but a mixed social-racial-cultural-ideological war, is coming, inevitably now. Continuing mass immigration, and the consequences flowing from mass immigration, are a large part of the reason.

Naturally, I myself oppose both System parties, parts of the same corrupt and ideologically-wrong set-up.
It is a moot point as to whether it is better for social-nationalism that there be a weak System government (whether Lab or Con), or that one party (at present, Con) be all but wiped out. The former is probably the case, so that System politics is seen as unable to do anything to progress Britain, thus leading to support for social nationalism. At present though, it seems ever more likely that the Con party will be nearly annihilated at any general election, held in the neat year or so.

That is the point— 2% of the population (actually 1%, i.e. male persons of Pakistani origin) are committing ~84% of that specific type of sex crime. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Pakistanis.

Look at that loony. Narcissist? Exhibitionist? Simple loony? Who knows? Who cares? There are idiots of that type in the UK too, “refugees welcome” dimwits etc.
Only 5/10 this week, though that still trumps political journalist John Rentoul, who awards himself 3.5/10. I knew the answers to questions 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7.
“Bad news for Britain: Scientists rank how 173 countries around the world function – and the UK isn’t even in the top 10!”

Interesting. At least the worst 37, if not more, are all states with mainly, indeed almost entirely, non-white populations. Apart from Singapore, the top 20 supposedly best states are all white northern European, ethnically. In fact, even Singapore has a strong European element, both in terms of population (if expat workers are included) and, of course, history.
“A furious mother took the fight against crime into her own hands and confronted ‘scumbag’ thieves this week, taking back a bike they had allegedly stolen after claiming that police officers ‘didn’t want to help.’
It comes as police forces are blasted for increasingly failing to tackle the crime that matters to ordinary people: petty thefts, mobile phone snatches and break-ins.
The emergency services are facing extraordinary pressures, and are taking as long as 18 hours to respond to 999 callouts such as burglaries and domestic incidents, data has shown.
The time taken to respond to ‘Grade Two’ incidents, in which there is no threat to life but the call is a ‘priority’ situation rose to four hours and 20 minutes on average in 2021, up from three hours just two years previously.
Britain’s police were warned to get back to basics earlier this month after a damning report found that public confidence in the service is ‘hanging by a thread’ due to their failures to tackle crime.
His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary Andy Cooke urged officers to stay out of political matters and stop intervening in Twitter spats, and instead focus on deterring and solving crime and disorder.“

Ah, so the worst performing force was Gloucestershire, the very same police force I now know to have been responsible for my having had to attend a “voluntary” (so-called) interview in Hampshire in 2021: see “Diary Blog, 15 January 2022“, above. Any policeman (whether from Gloucestershire or Hampshire) should have seen, before I said a word, that there was no shred of evidence against me. Still, when a Hampshire policeman spells “Gloucestershire” as “gloustishire“, in an official report, what can one expect?
I note also that the second-worst is apparently Derbyshire Police, the force which put out so much time and effort and “resources” (e.g. 3 policemen delivering one summons) in the persecution/prosecution of satirical singer Alison Chabloz.
Is there a lesson in there for the police of Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, and Hampshire?
Police! Do what H.M. Chief Inspector of Constabulary says— stop “monitoring” (snooping) on Twitter and socio-political blogs such as mine, and get back to where you once belonged, deterring and investigating (real) crime.
“I locked up some of Britain’s most dangerous crooks – but desktop cops and woke policing are making our streets a haven for gangs.”
“DS Speight said: ‘Most of the criminals don’t realise the police levels are low. They don’t realise that all the coppers will be on the Pride march.‘
The former detective said there is a lessening focus on real police work, while woke issues, including accusing Twitter users of hate crimes, takes more and more manpower.”
[Daily Mail].
Such articles never mention, though, the “lawfare” carried on by malicious Jewish orgs such as the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” and others, which waste police time and resources, as well as destroying freedom of expression, and corrupting policing itself.

And here’s Kay Burley my friends. A nasty shameless trash
Trash “journalist” Kay Burley thinks it normal and even funny that politically-motivated persons within the banking industry can deprive a British citizen of essential banking services. She herself has evidently not considered why it is that people who are political dissidents are now being deprived of such services. Farage is far from being the only one.
Another manifestation of Britain’s gradual decline into a kind of fake “communitarian” police state, an unusual one where real crime is allowed to run unchecked, but political “crime” (e.g. noting Jewish behaviour online) is penalized.
Kay burley is worse than the politicians. She is the biggest hypocrite in tv. She sold her soul to the devil year's ago.
Become lol? Kay Burley has always been a mouthpiece for which ever special interests pay the bills at her network. As long as she gets paid she doesnt care what narrative she has to push lol.
Eventually, when enough people have had enough done to them because of their standing up for European culture and civilization, the time will come when the pendulum swings back— and God help the treacherous politicians, bankers, and “journalist” drones (among others) then.

The United States has spent billions of dollars to stoke the flames of war in Ukraine. Congress has rarely challenged the funding of a protracted, bipartisan war. The poor performance of Ukraine is a bad sign for the Biden administration. Since the beginning of the war, Biden has…
Biden will not be sufficiently healthy or compos mentis to be U.S. President after the 2024 election. If he is the Democratic Party candidate in 2024, he will be beaten for sure, no matter who opposes him. Any successful Republican Party candidate, whether Trump or another, will surely take away Zelensky’s ricebowl. However, even a Democratic Party victor will probably do the same.
Sad that so many of our treasured institutions have been taken over by enemies of the British people. RNLI, National Trust, Oxfam (decades ago) etc.
I now read that the person who is the CEO of the RNLI gets £181,000 a year. In itself arguably OK, but people pay their donated pennies for real rescue work, not so that migrant-invader parasites can get a taxi service to the UK; also, most of the volunteers are not paid much and, sitting atop the chaos, a layer of “woke” swine are both spreading propaganda and facilitating migration-invasion, while receiving large unmerited salaries. Nein danke.
Late thoughts about the situation in France
I watched a few minutes of Sky TV coverage. The reporter persisted in calling the (mainly non-white) rioters “protesters“, which became actually ludicrous when she pointed out a sporting goods shop that had been looted of its weapons and ammunition, and said that the situation was now more difficult for the authorities because “the protesters” were now well-armed!
Then there is the usual msm propaganda covering up the fact that the rioters are overwhelmingly non-white. That happened over a decade ago in the UK, too, during the “shopping riots” sparked off by the death of yet another useless non-white criminal, that time in London.
What would I do, had I state power in France?
First, I should order the French police and Army to open fire on the rioters. Then again. Then again, repeated until the streets are cleared and all opposition crushed.
Secondly, I should put in place a programme to deport the unwanted inhabitants of the urban banlieues to French Guiana, the French part of South America. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Guiana.
“As a former senior British military intelligence officer and Nato planner, I spent 26 years preparing to counter Soviet-style manoeuvres during the Cold War. I’m all too aware that whether Ukraine survives as an independent nation will depend on how each side copes with multiple factors.
One of these, as anyone with rudimentary knowledge of European history knows, is the weather on the Eastern Front.
Russia’s much-anticipated ‘spring offensive’ this year has failed. The calculations behind it were flawed. The frozen ground has thawed quickly, turning large tracts of the country into a quagmire. We saw last year what happened when tanks try to advance over Ukraine’s mud. Despite their caterpillar tracks, the weight of Russia’s 45-ton T-72s meant many were quickly bogged down and had to be abandoned. Ukrainian farmers gleefully looted the wreckages.
This means Russian tanks are, for the moment, largely confined to tracks and roads, making them easy targets for ambush. But the same restrictions apply to Western tanks, which are even heavier.
[by June 2023], ordnance supplied by the West will be pouring into the battle zones. President Zelensky asked for 300 tanks: it is estimated his allies, including other former Soviet states, will provide 700 or more.
Already 350 infantry fighting vehicles and more than 1,000 armoured personnel carriers have been promised, as well as at least 320 self-propelled guns, most of them 155mm artillery.
Training to use this disparate kit will prove time consuming. In peacetime, the Army reckons to spend two years readying a tank brigade for combat. The Ukrainian crews are attempting to learn everything in just a few months.
It’s a mammoth undertaking and that applies to every aspect of the war. After its rapid advances following the invasion last year, Russia held 51,000 square miles of Ukrainian territory.
Since the counter-attack began last summer, the Ukrainians have recaptured about 11,300 square miles — pushing the enemy out of Kyiv, Kherson and Kharkiv. Some parts of the operation were relatively straightforward: for example, trapping the Russians on the western side of the Dnipro river, which cut off their retreat.
But Russia still holds 40,000 square miles (17 per cent) of Ukrainian territory, including the 10,425 square miles of Crimea, which Ukrainian naval commander Vice-Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa this week vowed to retake.
[Ukraine: overall state of play as of late March 2023]
Liberating Crimea [“Liberating”?] might be possible in the long term, but it would require a massive amphibious assault on the scale of D-Day. Even if a bridgehead could be established, the Ukrainian army would have to win back the peninsula mile by mile — and many of the inhabitants are pro-Russian.
Crimea was regarded as Ukrainian territory only after Stalin’s death in 1953 and it has been under Russian control again for nearly a decade. Victory would never be guaranteed, even if that gigantic campaign could ever be mounted.
Yet even that prospect is dwarfed by the scale of conflict on the mainland. The battlefront in eastern Ukraine is over 700 miles long, the distance from London to Barcelona. Moscow has committed virtually the whole of the Russian army to the invasion.
Its forces are organised into battalion tactical groups [BTGs], which consist of up to 40 tanks with artillery, armoured vehicles and engineering support. In total, Putin has 168 BTGs, each one a self-contained fighting force with full autonomy — and 115 of them are now in Ukraine.
Latest figures show the Russians have 1,330,900 men on the ground, compared with just half a million Ukrainians. They have 4,182 aircraft, including 1,531 helicopters and 773 fighter jets; Ukraine is far behind, with 312 aircraft, including 113 helicopters and 69 fighters.
Russia has 12,566 tanks, 151,641 armoured vehicles, 6,575 self-propelled guns and 3,887 mobile rocket launchers. In every case, that’s at least four times as many as Ukraine possesses and sometimes six.
Against a smaller but highly motivated army intent on repelling invasion, all the Russians can do is try to hang on to occupied territory. The Ukrainian forces will try to punch holes in the front line, but unless they can sever the supply chains, it’s unlikely their enemy will be routed. Putin will not permit his forces to pull out, however much punishment is inflicted.
Instead, he is playing for time, waiting for elections in the U.S. and Britain next year…“
[Colonel (retired) Philip Ingram, in the Daily Mail].
Russia is certainly not about to “lose” this war, but cannot now win it (however “victory” be defined) without a gamechanging event or tactic coming into play.
The Kiev-regime soldiers and civilians are, at present, more motivated than the Russian side. Like Antaeus, they draw strength from being on their native soil.
In the absence of any coherent ideology, even the flawed past ideology of Sovietism and/or Marxism-Leninism, the Russian government has fallen back on WW2 motifs and on the ludicrous assertion that the corrupt Jew-Zionist dictatorship in Kiev is “Nazi“. Few believe that, even among the ranks of the self-describing “Left” “useful idiots” in Western Europe, the UK, or beyond.
That ideological lack on the Russian side means that it has nothing with which to stiffen morale.
The Daily Mail assessment mentions the upcoming elections in USA and UK. The US Presidential one is the important event. Without American arms and money, Zelensky’s troops must stop fighting.
Looking at that map, the areas in green are those where the Kiev-regime has regained ground over the past months. However, my guess is that much of Eastern Ukraine (east of the Dnieper) is almost open territory. If the Russians are stretched to the limit, so are the Ukrainians. If the Kiev-regime line were to be breached seriously, or if Russia were able to score a decisive victory in the Bakhmut/Artyomovsk pocket, there might be little to prevent most of Eastern Ukraine falling to Russian forces.

The United States, the self-appointed global dictator, will once again [at the the "Summit for Democracy"] declare itself the defender of international law and is sure to claim that the world must live by its rules.
The Labour candidate, a woman who seems to have been a housewife/homemaker previously, as well as (from 2011) a councillor and (from 2015) leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council, scored 61.2%, Labour’s best-ever result in the constituency. The fact that she was brought up in, and has lived in, the area since the age of 4 cannot have hurt her campaign.
Conversely, the Conservative candidate did very badly, scoring 22.4%; the previous worst Con result was in 2001 (33.1%).
The LibDem, on 8.4%, was the only other candidate to retain his deposit. Their best result in a decade, but underwhelming when compared to where the LibDems were prior to the 2010-2015 “Con Coalition”.
Of the others, the only ones worth noting are the Greens (2.8%) and the new Farage vehicle, Reform UK (2.7%). The other four candidates scored 1% or below.
Thoughts? A very good result for Labour, despite it having been in a by-election. Labour’s previous best was 56.8% in 2017, which had been ahead of all other results, even that of 1997.
The voters are getting very tired of the Conservative Party, and even if they may not consider that Labour will do much if at all better on a number of issues, that alone cannot save Sunak and the Con Party.
Not much else to be said, except that Farage is proven once again a busted flush; his Reform UK party is not likely to get anywhere. Britain needs a real social-national party.
Finally, what did strike me was the low turnout— 41.2%, by far the lowest ever, though of course this was only a by-election. The previous-lowest turnout was in the General Election of 2001 (63.8%).
The low turnout might well indicate apathy, or apathy vis a vis the present political and voting system; it may also indicate anger and frustration, and a view that the present system cannot solve Britain’s problems.
Whatever the truth of that, the fact remains that 58.8% of eligible voters did not vote. How many were disaffected former Con voters unwilling to vote Labour or even LibDem? We do not know, but the fact is that 6,335 people voted Con at this by-election, compared with 20,918 in 2019 (when the turnout was 71.7%).
Britain has a basically binary political system. That only about 10% of eligible voters here cast a vote for the governing party must ring alarm bells at CCHQ.
[Note: incidentally, since writing the above, a few hours ago, I see that journalists and others are tweeting that the result was “the worst result for the Conservatives since 1832“. Not right.
The Conservative Party did not really exist back then, and the party referred to were the Whigs, some of whom morphed into what —much later— became the Liberal Unionist Party and then part of the Conservative and Unionist Party. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whigs_(British_political_party).
The 1832 General Election now being referred to by journalists was one where there were three candidates in City of Chester, but two of those candidates were both Whigs —but with differing views— and the losing one, who came third, was the one now being called a “Conservative”.
In any case, that was a different world].

Why are we being left to do this, the police are paid to keep our roads running clear of protestors. It's time they started pulling their weight and not forcing the public to do their jobs for them 🙄
Labour won the Chester by election with an 11% swing from the tories. But it was a 41% turnout. 6 in 10 people weren't interested in voting. I would've been one of them, nobody here represents me and mine. Our democracy is dying.
Short memory, it's certainly not as bad as the 'Winter of discontent' under Labour. At that time, bodies were stacked up in mortuaries, uncollected rubbish strewn along streets and essential services on the verge of collapse or on strike.
I never cease to be amazed at the ignorant comments made about the 1970s in the UK. The “Winter of Discontent” lasted for a couple of months in 1978-79, only really badly affected a few geographic areas, and even fewer urban areas had “bodies stacked up” etc, and not for long.
You also see people insistent that there were long periods of the 1970s with electrical blackouts etc. In fact, most areas did not have blackouts at all, even in the “three day week” period of late 1973.
The whole thing has been blown up into this fable in which a whole decade consisted of blackouts, nothing working, rubbish and corpses unburied or unburned, and a “three day week” which (according to the fable) lasted for years, rather than the few weeks it actually lasted.
What is actually alarming about some of those assertions is that they are made even by some people who were actually there at the time (as I was, incidentally: aged 17 in late 1973, and 22 in the winter of 1978-79). The fallibility of human memory is astounding at times; I notice it because I have always had an exceptional memory.

Even the largely-“controlled” Spectator has sat up and taken notice. The cartoon should be more menacing, though, to reflect the reality— invasion by economic migrants and/or criminals rather than desperate migration by “refugees”.
It will be recalled by regular readers of the blog that Derbyshire Police performed most ignominiously during the 2020-2021 “panicdemic”, bullying and harassing fell walkers and picnickers. The same force had previously behaved atrociously towards Alison Chabloz (who was at the time resident in the Peak District).
Seems that Derbyshire Police find dealing with real crime rather harder.
£750 compensation and a suspended sentence for attacking the victim from behind, with a hammer, and in a sustained attack which ended only when an uninvolved third party happened upon the scene.

“No civil war ever has a single cause. It’s always a multitude of factors that lead to decline and collapse. The current US has several of what the CIA calls “threat multipliers”: environmental crises continue to batter the country, economic inequality is at its highest level since the founding of the country, and demographic change means that the US will be a minority white country within just over two decades. All of these factors tend to contribute to civil unrest wherever they are found in the world.”
According to Wikipedia, about half of the pre-conflict (i.e. pre-February 2022) population had already fled by the end of May 2022. It is not known either how many have fled in the past 6 months or how many now remain in the city.
It is clear that this battle will be of great importance. I find myself wondering whether Putin intends to use tactical (“battlefield”) nuclear weapons to almost destroy the city if it looks like falling to the forces of the Kiev regime. Those Western “experts” who have pronounced say “no” to that idea; Putin’s people also say no. So maybe “no” is the answer. I do feel a little uneasy about the possibility, though.
Putin has recently referenced, I believe more than once, the American slaughter of very many of the inhabitants of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (perhaps 230,000) in 1945, in the atomic-bomb attacks that pretty much levelled both cities. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_bombings_of_Hiroshima_and_Nagasaki.
Does Putin really mean to destroy Kherson if necessary? We do not know.
[view of Kherson]
If Putin’s intent is to destroy one city so as to say to the Kiev regime “I have just destroyed Kherson. Surrender, or Kiev will be next” (in similar fashion as the Americans did in Japan in 1945), that would be a complete gamechanger, and might even bring in NATO on the “Ukrainian” (Kiev regime) side. In that event, the next world war might be, and probably would be, triggered.
What is inescapable is that the high-grade armament given by the USA, UK etc to the forces of the Kiev regime is having a very great effect on the battlefield. Russian forces are very definitely now on the defensive.
Russia is now, after some hesitation, targeting the electrical power and other infrastructure that keeps the Kiev “failed state” going. I expect that to both continue and intensify.
What a horrible bloody mess (as blogged previously). If only the Russian Army, its General Staff, and the GRU had been fit for purpose at the start, the invasion would probably have ended within days and with complete success, particularly had the Jew Zelensky and his cabal been eliminated by what used to be known in Soviet days as “Olympic Spetsnaz” (which may not even exist now— I do not know).
Now, huge numbers of Ukrainian civilians and their companion animals are suffering and many are dying, together with many Russians, partly because the Russians have made such a shambolic mess of all this, and partly because the West is keeping the war going by vast transfers of arms, ammunition, training, medical and other equipment, and sheer money to the Zelensky regime.

I happened to see something about the “Rogue Trader”, Nick Leeson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Leeson], who caused a big kefuffle in the mid-1990s, when caught out making unauthorized trades nominally on behalf of Baring’s Bank (which collapsed with massive debts because of him).
Turns out that, after serving over 4 years in Changi Prison, Singapore (2/3 of a nearly-7 year sentence), and having (earlier) written the bestselling Rogue Trader [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_Trader_(book)], he became commercial manager (I had thought, accountant) for an Irish football team, Galway United; then he became CEO of the same club until, some years later, having to resign by reason of the club’s financial difficulties.
I recall having read his book when it came out in 1995 or 1996.
Now, however, like a reformed bank robber advising banks on security, Leeson apparently speaks for fees at seminars, and also after-dinner. Such bookings can be very lucrative (ex-Prime Ministers etc get paid tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands). Leeson is obviously not going to be in that league, and I am unaware of what he does charge, but it might be a few thousand pounds a time, a couple of times a month. Nice work if you can get it.
After a brief year or so of being a successful stock market trader in the early 1990s, Leeson was stunningly unsuccessful, famously so, and his later time at the Irish football club was hardly crowned with success, but his 1990s notoriety now provides him with a living, perhaps a good one.
The (Jewish) journalist even refers to Jews as “the tribe“.
It occurs to me that the most repulsive MP in that report is not in fact a Jew (though married to a Jewish woman, and with children being brought up as Jewish). No, not Keir Starmer but Robert Jenrick. A complete doormat for Israel and the Jewish lobby.

Indeed. People wanted the migration-invasion “sorted”, as is now said, and they have had enough of big-talking on immigration from “Conservative” ministers, which big talk has led to no or no useful action. Priti Patel the least useful big talker/no action (so far).
One interesting thing about the Gavin Williamson row. I spent the back end of last week asking people what his job in Government actually is. No-one could tell me.
According to Electoral Calculus, with Reform Party getting maybe 5%, that would result in Labour 471 seats, Conservative 91, LibDem 13, Green 1, SNP 52. https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html.
(with “tactical voting” ticked, Con = 30 seats on the same numbers).
If Reform only get 2%, much the same result, but even were Reform (Farage’s latest vehicle) to get 10%, all that would happen would be Reform getting 1 MP, Con 100, Lab 460, LibDem 14. The FPTP voting system is hard to shift.
Indeed, even were Reform to get 15% (higher than UKIP’s result in 2015), Reform would still only get 1 MP! The big change there, though, would be a further Con collapse, to 37 MPs (Lab 521, LibDems 16).
Even on 20%, Reform would get nowhere.
To really arrive, Reform would have to get to about 25% and take votes from Lab as well as Con. As people now say, “a big ask“.
Personally, I do not believe that the Reform Party agenda of “libertarianism” mixed with some less American elements (support for NHS, opposition to more mass immigration etc) will pull in the punters.
There again, Farage stabbed his own Brexit Party supporters in the back in 2019, and (in lay terms) stole the candidates’ money as well! Who would trust him now?
A more social-national party might succeed, if credible: nationalization of strategic utilities, support for private enterprise otherwise, with taxation of large enterprises greatly increased, and support for a thoroughly reformed —but still free at point of use— health service; law and order, support for proper defence; opposition to the Zelensky regime but humanitarian aid to families and animals in Ukraine, and much closer links to Russia.
One aspect that interests me is that, as others have noticed, hardly any tweeters supporting the “Bootstrap Cook” are actually anywhere near “poor”. Many are decidedly affluent, as can be surmised from their Twitter headlines: CEO this, Director that, author, journalist, food writer on a large newspaper, and so on.
I know you know, I just keep posting it so it gets seen as much as possible.Jack Monroe's falsely claimed working class valour really pisses me off.I read her very first article at the time and knew it was 🐂💩. Her list of self diagnosed ailments is another reason to dislike her
…and that may be only half or a third of her full income.
The extraordinary thing is that quite large numbers of affluent scribblers and others are absolutely vituperative in their self-appointed defence of the “Bootstrap Cook”, as in the example(s) below, in which two employees of the Irish Daily Mail, Tom Doorley (a restaurant critic) and Philip Nolan, jump on someone critical of “Jack Monroe”:
I am now even more honoured! Jack is an amazing person.
Remarkable self-awareness from the little gobshite, Philip. At least s/he admits they are spouting pure ordure (if they even know what the word means). I'm amazed at how these moral pygmies constantly trawl Twitter for references to Jack.
It seems that Therese Coffey, the appalling woman presently Secretary of State for the DWP, is likely to be appointed Secretary of State for Health (assuming a Liz Truss premiership— we shall know about that later today).
Good grief. Thick half-caste James Cleverly as Foreign Secretary?! What an incredible embarrassment and humiliation for this country, even after Liz Truss…
The others mooted? Well, we have as mooted Chancellor of the Exchequer, Kwasi Kwarteng, the “African at Eton”, who said, in a book he co-authored with others (including Liz Truss), that “Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world.” See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britannia_Unchained; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwasi_Kwarteng.
Incidentally, that book was written by 5 MPs, of whom only 2 (Liz Truss, Chris Skidmore) are full European, the others being Kwasi Kwarteng (Ghanaian origin), Priti Patel (East African Indian origin), Dominic Raab (half-Jew).
Then we have Ben Wallace, Defence Secretary since 2019 on the strength of having been a captain in the Scots Guards. Seems to think (after a few whiskys) that the now-pitiful British armed forces can take on Russia (in a nuclear war?) and “win”.
Wallace’s actual words were to the effect that the Scots Guards had “kicked the [backside]” of Nikolai I of Russia in the Crimean War (about 170 years ago) and could do it again.
Let us hope that Wallace stays off the whisky, in case he confuses 1852 with 2022 and then, while a little too merry, tries to kick Putin’s nuclear backside.
“Culture— Nadine Dorries“. Need one say more?
“Security— Tom Tugendhat“. Really? The part-Jew former desk soldier whose wife is a politically-connected French judge, while Tugendhat (a fervent pro-Israel drone, closely connected to the Jewish lobby in the UK) is himself a French citizen (dual French-British citizenship). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Tugendhat.
Nadhim Zahawi? He emulates the limpet. He blagged his corrupt, expenses-cheating, tax-evading way into Cabinet under “Boris”-idiot, and he will be clinging onto office no matter what.
Most of the rest on that list can be best described as deadheads and idiots.
Such a Cabinet, at such a time? The auguries cannot be favourable.
Basically, “Boris” Johnson appointed to his Cabinet those MPs with more interest in office than their own self-respect. The dregs, pretty much. What we now see is a new Cabinet which can be described as the dregs of the dregs.
Rather telling, though weakened near the end by a would-be-respectful nod to the Ukrainian woman married to the Jew dictator, Zelensky. Hard to feel sorry for a woman who, with her corrupt husband, owns at least two villas in the sun (in Italy and in Florida), one of which is apparently worth USD $40 million.

An interesting report, which hits a few points or questions many of the ultra-wealthy preppers written about may have considered but not resolved. Strange to think that, as recently as (?) 5 years ago, some people saw this egregious example of “controlled opposition” as a potential prime minister. Having said that, and after “Boris”-idiot and now Liz Truss, Farage seems relatively straightforward and capable! Our national life now must lie somewhere between Nietzsche and Kafka.
I shall not be trying Farage’s alcoholic product any more than I would his political products; I have never once tasted gin, and I do not think that I shall start now.

Rory Stewart says, though slightly more diplomatically, that Boris-idiot is a narcissistic waste of space, unfit for office. True, and many of us were tweeting and blogging the same, years ago. Still, “those who live in glass houses should not throw stones“…
“Ukraine’s armed forces and regional officials say Russia is launching attacks on all fronts in eastern Ukraine in what seems to be new offensive.” [The Guardian].
I think that the Russian forces are now doing what I thought they were trying to do about a month ago, i.e. drawing a line from the coastal regions of the Sea of Azov and Black Sea up the eastern bank of the river Dnieper through Zaporozhye and Dnipro [former Dnepropetrovsk], then towards Kharkov, with the aim of eliminating all Ukrainian forces to the east of that line, then occupying all territory to the east of that line.
Once the above has been accomplished, the strategy may well be to strike north from Dnipro and west from the Kharkov area (once Kharkov is either taken or isolated), thus controlling and/or occupying almost all of Ukraine east of the Dnieper and south of Kiev itself.
Ha ha! I could not ignore that prize example of socio-political idiocy. Seems that there are still “useful idiots” around who idolize the Jew Marx. Not that everything he wrote was wrong; even Hitler said that (see Hitler’s Table Talk). However, what was, in its heyday, a serious political movement, meaning Marxism, or Marxism-Leninism, has become (gradually, since the 1950s) a farrago of nonsense play-politics, on the periphery of both events and political thought.
In the famous words of Marx himself: “…first time as tragedy, second time as farce“…

[Bishop’s Rock lighthouse, Isles of Scilly. Hard to believe that I visited it, long long ago, in an open boat (in high summer, and with the sea almost flat calm, though). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bishop_Rock]
“On Thursday 559 people were picked up off the Kent coast after making the crossing in 19 boats, and on Friday 358 people crossed in 10 boats.” [BBC News]
“Picked up off theKent coast“…Oh yes? How far “off” the coast would that be? 10 miles? More?
Soon, even poor weather will not hamper the invasion, as larger rubber boats and RIBs are used. Even now, it can be seen that about 30 are arriving on each boat.
The 900 that arrived on Thursday and Friday will now “have to be” found accommodation, food, spending money, NHS medical care, other services, and few of them will ever be more than a burden to the British people.
What about the past two days, Saturday and Sunday? The same? Another 900?
I do not even need to bet (because I know) that the same quasi-traitors who support the migration-invasion are the same virtue-signalling hypocrites who will soon be crying about how the NHS is “under-resourced”, about how the police are “under-resourced”, about how there is a worsening housing crisis in the UK; and so on.
Quite right. I can recall, almost every year for decades (literally decades, about 25 years), the NHS having a “winter crisis”. Long before “Covid”.
The “panicdemic” is not only convenient as a way of introducing a police state under another guise; it is also convenient for the very poorly-administered NHS. It supplies a narrative: “we are swamped by Covid!” OK, so that’s your excuse in 2021 and for 2020. So, er, what was the reason the NHS was “in crisis” for almost all of the preceding 25 winters?
Not that I am opposed to the NHS, meaning public healthcare free at point of use. I heard secondhand a (thought credible) story about a lady somewhere (I forget where exactly) in the USA, who developed, many years ago, a serious problem with hearing (and had had a problem since birth) and, because her health insurance, which she actually had, would not cover it, had been extremely restricted in her enjoyment of life. For years.
It seems that that lady was finally able to get the (actually pathetically small) amount of money required recently, but how sad that, for lack of a very small amount of money (less than £3,000 in UK money), she was so handicapped for many years.
No-one sensible wants to replace the existing health services with a “pay or die” system. However, something needs to change.
The principle of the NHS is good, but the NHS lost its way sometime in the Blair-Brown years, 10-20 years ago. Maladministration. Callousness. Lack of proper direction.
The migration invasion has made matters much worse.
Answer: because the part-Jew, part-Levantine clown and public entertainer who should be “running the country” is incapable of doing so, and should never have risen higher than backbench MP level, if that.
“is it becuz Claudia Webbe is black, a woman, and an MP?” Answers on a postcard…and then you see agonized articles in the New Statesman, or Guardian, speculating as to why people will still not vote “Labour” even now that “nasty uncle Adolf” (Corbyn) has been replaced by nice safe (it is claimed) Keir Starmer.
Starmer is not a “supporter of terrorism” (except Israeli state terrorism”, and the kind of Jewish sub-terrorism that we have seen in the UK in the past); likewise, Starmer is not “an anti-Semite”…I have no doubt that that is so! Good grief, he even has a Jewish wife, and children being brought up as if fully-Jewish!
Seems, however, that that sort of claim cuts little mustard with the voting public. True, the opinion polls now show “Labour” ahead of the equally-misnamed “Conservatives”, but then look at this shambles of a government!
The word “omnishambles” could have been coined for this mis-government. Indeed, the word is not even strong enough.
I have reposted a few tweets with which I agree, but it is disturbing that someone apparently at a “leading university” can compose a sentence such as “twitters self proclaimed education correspondent” without an apostrophe or a hyphen in sight. Sign of the times.
Labour
I have already made a few comments today, and yesterday, and the day before, about the Labour Party. The fact is that those opinion polls are only favourable to Labour by default. The North Shropshire result cannot just be ignored on the argument that “…because Labour never wins there“.
Even taking into account tactical voting (which obviously took place), the North Shropshire result was very poor for Labour. For one thing, why was Labour not the chosen tactical vote recipient? Why the LibDems? In the past, even in the last (2019) election for the seat, in fact in the last three elections (2019, 2017, 2015), Labour, not the LibDems, came in in second place.
Indeed, the LibDems have only come second in the constituency twice, in 2010 and in 1992. In all others, in third place, often a distant third.
The LibDem vote in North Shropshire was only 10% in 2019, and even lower (5.3%) in 2017. In fact, even in the 2010 days of “Cleggmania”, the LibDem vote only reached 20.9% (with Labour on 18.1%).
The sheer ineptitude of the Boris Johnson misgovernment is obviously a factor, going beyond even that of previous Conservative and Labour governments but, even so, something more is going on here. Labour has lost not only credibility, but relevance, raison d’etre.
There is no “industrial proletariat”, just an increasingly raceless (in the cities) and cultureless “precariat”. “Labour”-label speaks for (or at least to) mainly those with public sector jobs, to the blacks (those that even bother to vote) and to some of the “browns”, esp. Pakistanis etc. Not really to any other group of any size.
The Labour MPs are largely seen as useless. Some of the black women are especially poor, but they are not alone. A significant number of Labour MPs have been convicted, arrested, or suspended in the past year alone.
Tactical voting would only help Starmer if Lib Dem voters switch to Labour when Labour is the main challenger. This by-election shows how toxic Labour still are to the electorate – despite being in 2nd place in North Shropshire in 2019, they were not seen as the challenger.
— Feeling Brexitty! 🇮🇱🇺🇦 #NeverLabour 🇬🇧 (@GrumpyOldLab) December 19, 2021
It is always hard to predict a General Election in the UK, bearing in mind the crazy First Past The Post voting system, and the contrived boundaries of constituencies, but to my mind we are heading into hung Parliament territory again. That nearly happened (again) in 2019, but Labour’s collapsed vote (a collapse of 8 points) enabled the Conservative Party (the vote of which increased by 1 point) to get an 80-seat majority.
If, next time, the Labour vote collapses further, but the Conservative vote also falls, the LibDems may manage to pick up a number of Conservative seats. Maybe…but with the Conservatives still left holding, probably, a plurality of seats.
I would not totally write off the Conservative Party just yet, poor though the “Conservatives” are, if Boris-idiot is binned. There is still a lot of traditional, ingrained, support for the Conservatives, especially in rural and southern England, whereas in the traditionally Labour areas, support for Labour has ebbed away, or eroded. I cannot see Keir Starmer and his Labour Friends of Israel front bench reversing that trend.
“Boris” is now a dead weight for the Conservative Party. If he is removed, the party, poor though it is, must be a match for equally-poor Labour.
The “Covid” “laws”, “rules”, “measures” and general nonsense have also weakened support for Con Party (and for Labour, which has weakly followed and supported the Conservative Government).
As for the LibDems, few vote for them, as such. People are voting against the major System parties.
My view since the days of the Con Coalition of 2010-2015, that the LibDems are finished, still holds, despite Amersham, despite North Shropshire. The only question is when the last LibDem MP will go, and that will not happen while the Conservative Party is as toxic as it now is, because the LibDems will be there as “alternative”, particularly where Labour is sliding and/or has no chance.
This should be a good moment for social-nationalism, but there is no social-national party, and no real movement.
The superficially-educated ignorant
Watched an episode of TheChase from a few years ago. Probably the worst team I have seen. One woman seemed to know nothing at all, literally nothing (except how to walk and speak), while another, a young woman with a degree in English, and who was going to be doing a master’s degree in magazine journalism, was frighteningly ignorant for someone with at least 16 years of full-time education (and who wanted to start her own magazine!). She thought that Elizabeth I was the grandmother of Tsaritsa Alexandra of Russia (it was Victoria, as all my readers will know)! She also thought that the famously affluent Thameside village of Bray is in Sussex (it’s Berkshire). There were even worse answers from her, but I have already forgotten them.
Needless to say, that team won no money, but I was left, as I often am, concerned about the state of this country, and about the cultural-educational level of the population.
It especially concerns me that —it often seems— the least-educated young people are going either into teaching or into journalism.
There are secret cabals, often with occult bases, pursuing specific lines of attack in the msm. Only an informed investigative force can even begin to identify the culprits and deal with them.
I still wonder whether Farage got a huge offshore payoff for his treachery to his own followers during the 2019 General Election. I should not be surprised if he gets a peerage (as well) in the “Boris” resignation honours list. Claire Fox getting one must have been a kind of down-payment, or declaration of intent.
Piers Morgan— a major System mouthpiece. What a disgusting sentiment he tweeted, too, apart from being totally illogical. I suppose that one should not expect too much from a broadcaster whose education peaked with his attendance (on a journalism course) at Harlow College of Further Education, Essex.
As if GPs and A&E personnel know anything much in detail about the virus(es) or the agenda behind the vaccine(es).
Covid's killed off #flu for a SECOND year There is of course no mystery here – the tests can't tell the difference. You have allowed them to destroy freedom & normality for rebranded flu & the common cold.https://t.co/hFVbfDi8ph
If you just step back and look at what has happened to our society specifically in the past nearly 2 years, it is more than alarming; one could say frightening. The 2022-2055 agenda is already clearly readied by the secret cabals and ruling circles: travel restrictions, political repression, mass elimination, microchips under the skin to track and control hundreds of millions of people on both a mass and an individual basis, while at the same time tearing apart European race, culture, and way of life.
This will not be opposed, not at all effectively, by actions such as marches, vigils, letters to newspapers, tweets, blogs etc.
[I never chose it! The British people never chose it! Secretive cabals and enemies of the people chose it!]

“Panicdemic”
“PROFESSOR CARL HENEGHAN: I’m a GP on the frontline, and I don’t think we’re overwhelmed with Covid” [Mail on Sunday]
This police habit, that is of relatively recent usage, of arresting fairly innocuous suspects in the middle of the night, or early in the morning (by which I mean before 0900 hrs) has become ingrained.
When I was at the practising Bar, I was asked once (around 2002) to advise in a case (a potential action against the police) involving a woman accused of having (though never charged with having) thrown a stone at a neighbour’s car following an incident connected with an ongoing local problem over limited parking space in a close.
In fact, that woman never was charged, and there was in fact no evidence that anyone had thrown a stone, nor even that the damage had been caused by a stone: the slight damage to the car may anyway have occurred by accident, without human agency.
The point is that that woman (a married mother of school-age children, and a medical secretary without previous convictions of any kind) was arrested at 0700 in her own home, at a time when she and her family were half-awake and about to have breakfast. She was taken away in front of her young daughters, and held in a police station for about 5 hours before being released without charge.
I think that there have to be placed statutory curbs on this kind of police behaviour. There are of course dangerous offenders, or fugitives, who may have to be arrested at night, and without any warning, who may be armed, or who may be planning an imminent attack of some sort. Any other kind of suspect should be arrested at a civilized hour and in a civilized way. Indeed, it was not necessary to have arrested the woman in my story at all, and I suspect that the same is true of Piers Corbyn.
It was not wrong of the person posing as PM to hold a reception or party; what was wrong was that he and his fellow clowns prevented, by law, “ordinary citizens” from doing the same. The hypocrisy, and “entitlement”, and mendacity was wrong too.
