Owen Jones represents what's wrong with this country now. A smug little establishment metropolitan media twat who's tries to pass himself off as Che Guevara. The guy disgusts me, he doesn't represent the "working class" & neither does that middle class comic "The Guardian".
While I generally despise Conservative Party members, I would prefer that young man to any of the existing Cabinet of fools.

“Tino Chrupalla, the co-chairman of ‘Alternative for Germany’ (the only ‘true’ right-wing party in Germany), has been hospitalized after an assassination attempt with a syringe before he was due to speak at an election rally in Bavaria today.
Another suspected assassination attempt on his co-chairwoman, Alice Weidel, has recently been thwarted. The authorities took her out of her apartment last weekend to ensure her safety.
A few weeks ago, Andreas Jurca, another politician from the same political party, was rushed to the hospital after being beaten to a pulp in an organized attack on his life by a group of migrants who recognized him.
All of this is extremely shocking, but unsurprising. It is the result of the extremely hostile narrative that is created by the media and the establishment surrounding right wing politicians and dissidents. It reminds me of what happened back in 2002 in The Netherlands, when climate activist Volkert van der Graaf shot right wing politician Pim Fortuyn in the head in broad daylight.
Van der Graaf – mind you -is already freely walking the streets again. We have to realize how serious the situation is for us on the right in Western Europe. We’re dealing with an enemy that wants to and is prepared to kill us for our political beliefs. These assassination attempts are a clear declaration of war against the European right. And this is just the beginning. These people will use any means possible – including violence and death – in order to silence our voices. We cannot let it happen.”
This is not a debate but a war.
In the UK, so far, the System is using the method of putting people on trial, charged with saying, writing, or doing something somehow “unlawful”, or of belonging to proscribed groups (another typical police state “crime” which never used to exist in the this country).
The (((usual suspects))) in the UK so far mostly rely on triggering State action by making false allegations, persistently harassing officials until the officials launch investigations, prosecutions etc.
In the future that may change, and the nature of the conflict may well change; perhaps not far into the future. Look at the present battle in London over the ULEZ cameras.

It would be funny were that half-caste girl not part of a huge tranche of the UK population, especially under-30s, that are like her (including white British, incidentally). They have been through the UK “educational” system, probably attended some spoonfeeding “uni”, and think that the only reason Haiti and Liberia (etc) do not invent anything, and do not send rockets to the Moon, is because “racism” from European/white people has somehow held back the blacks…
Many a true word spoken in jest…I remember a visitor from the Soviet Union, one Alex (not the MP above, of course), joking with me during a similar prison accommodation crisis (in 1987, I think, and seen on Channel 4 News) that the British Government should make a deal with the Soviet Government to house Brit convicts. Alex said that he could guarantee that the Soviet Government would turn a profit on it.
He ought to have known, he himself having been arrested and convicted, on entirely invented evidence, of having been a spy for a number of secret services. He had been about 18 at the time, and the arrest came in 1948, the peak of the postwar purge. He had then spent 5 years in a camp in the region of Archangel in Northern Russia. Stalin’s death in 1953 had saved him, and millions of others, from longer or worse.

[“Where did it all go wrong for John Lewis?” Oh, no, wait a minute…]
Incidentally, her basic salary at John Lewis has been £990,000 p.a., nearly three times her previous salary (for 4 years) as head of OFCOM.
She has other revenue streams as well.
Incidentally, I myself often use Waitrose, which is part of the John Lewis Group. The decline , particularly since 2020, has been sad to see. The range and also quality of fruit and vegetables is much reduced, the formerly stellar customer service has almost gone, and there have been other disagreeable changes, while the prices have soared.
Hard to know where to place the blame, though, in circumstances where we have seen Brexit, the “Covid” scamdemic/panicdemic, the pathetic anti-Covid “measures” put in place, staff shortages locally, and general inflation.
The other day, I bought a small bottle of (40%/Vol) Kirsch. About £9.50. A few years ago, the price was £6.50 or £7. Hardly a typical everyday purchase, even for me, but not dissimilar to other items in its increased cost.
It is incredible how, in the Britain of 2023, to state the plain truth, the obvious truth that is staring us in the face, is actually controversial. Sign of a slowly (?) collapsing society.

At the same time, it is absolutely obvious: the situation for Ukraine has not become any less, but even more threatening! The counteroffensive is going less successfully than the Ukrainians and the West would like. The number of victims is extremely high. There is no necessary support in arms from the West. Conservative Party Conference
Saw a few minutes of Sunak’s speech. Pretty pathetic. The HS2 fiasco has become symbolic. Not that I was ever anything other than opposed to the ridiculous vanity project anyway, but now we have massive cost, massive environmental damage etc, but no useful train line at all, just a line that goes to or from Birmingham but only to an outer suburb of London, thus losing its purpose altogether. As said, pathetic.
It seems that Sunak is trying to portray himself as a Prime Minister, when the whole country knows that his popularity (as was that of even more useless Liz Truss) has never been tested via General Election. The longer Sunak holds on, and the longer he puts off a General Election, the worse his position is likely to become. However, if a general election were to be held this year, the result would almost certainly be a disaster for the Conservative Party, and the number of its MPs likely be reduced to around 100, maybe only 50 or so. Therefore, the circus will have to continue into 2024, maybe until December 2024.

Listen to the idiot, saying in one sentence that he is not in favour of censorship but that “these people” (GB News) have to be kept off the air. When did he say that about vulgar pests such as Jo Brand or, say, the Jewish “comedians”, such as David Baddiel? Never, as far as I know.
Of course, GB News is mainly “controlled opposition” (OFCOM would never allow me to have a TV show, for example), but “all roads lead to Rome”…

In 2020 Sophie Dukes joked about killing white people on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order – No further action.
In 2020 Miriam Margolyes said she wanted Boris Johnson to die on live TV while he was seriously ill with COVID – No further action.

“My final thoughts, before I move on. As we have a busy day helping a girl who misgendered another student, by refusing to call her a cat. I know. Welcome to 2023. People are entitled to have a view on what I said and that is fine by me. Whilst a bit crass, it certainly didn’t merit the mega media storm which has resulted. Especially given the genuinely appalling things said on TV which pass without comment. The woman on the BBC saying she wanted to kill all white people. And countless other examples. I have been saying to GB news for months that they should stand up for themselves more against these unending attacks. Instead they panicked. Trying to appease an enemy, who will not stop until they shut down. Namely @Ofcom. A regulator created to ensure the state narrative is persistently and regularly hammered into every home.
As it happens, I am the catalyst for the great takedown to begin, which on reflection is a cause of sadness and regret, but if it hadn’t been me, it would have been one of the desperate presenters currently joining in the pile on, not realising that it’s just a crocodile eating itself, and not long from now, many of them will be out of a television job, or so shackled and censored, that any whiff of authenticity is gone. Like a nodding dog on a car dashboard. And about as relevant.
The United Kingdom is run by one political party, pretending to be two, by wearing different coloured rosettes, with the same freedom sapping policies and controlling agendas.
That is why you are seeing every show on regime TV discussing this affair, and both sides of the uni party calling in unison for an end to the insurgent channel. The uni party need Izvestia to spout their narrative.
Where GB news have erred is by forgetting why they came into existence in the first place. Calling themselves the “home of free speech” is a simple principle to protect. They could have easily said “whilst we find Laurence Foxes comments appalling and they aren’t representative of our views, we respect and uphold the fundamental right of free speech.”
This would have provided at least some defence and given time and opportunity to rally public support and fight back. Instead they went on the defensive. I still haven’t heard a word from them, and am waiting for the chop on Friday at my disciplinary hearing.
Such is life. I own my mistakes and take full responsibility for them. The major problem for them is now they are not the home of free speech at all. They are the exact opposite. They will cancel just as readily, if not more so, than the rest just to try and stay alive, and they have opened themselves up to an unending, brutal and sustained attack from the regime and their media lapdogs. In trying to appease the mob, they have emboldened it. Which is why you never apologise to the mob.
I have worked hard to put across different stories, like the case of ST, which most of the propaganda media have ignored. I have enjoyed the lovely responses I get from the public for doing so. So it is a shame I feel for everyone that GB fell straight into the trap set for them. I feel even sadder, and pissed off at myself, that I allowed myself to be the bait for that trap by trying to make a serious point in a jokey and lighthearted way.
Now I must rebuild. I’ve done it before and I will do it again. I have two kids to feed and clothe after all.
On a final note, we should all ask ourselves if this is a society we want to live in, where the cancel mob reign and your only chance at existence is total and utter capitulation to their whims.

“It’s not the cause of the Conservative’s difficulties therefore it’s probably not going to be the route back to recovery.”@JuliaHB1pic.twitter.com/296HIjzLlj
Professor Curtice, eminent and erudite psephologist though he is, cannot see the wood for the trees.
In the world of the Professor, there are parties A, B, C, D, and the game is to accurately predict how those parties will do competing against each other in a structured contest in which all parties of importance are saying variations of the same thing.
In the real Britain, however, there is migration-invasion on a vast scale, our society is being trashed, almost everything is slowly seizing up and ceasing to work properly —or at all— and standards in all areas are sliding.

“Left/Right” means nothing but, otherwise, that tweet is correct. Adam Boulton is a System drone, like so many others. Applauds the forced closure of the RT television station, and wants GB News to be shut as well. Freedom of expression, free speech etc mean nothing to these propagandists, who are akin to Soviet media broadcasters.
The System media in the UK promoted the “Covid” scamdemic/panicdemic, has never seriously challenged the mass immigration into this country, nor examined the results of Jewish immigration into the UK in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Enoch Powell being Enoch Powell and being proved correct and Adam Boulton being Adam Boulton and being predictable. Politicians since Powell's sacking have taken the Boulton route with equally predictable results. https://t.co/4CQfCiEWa6
The System drones and propagandists are all piling in to bury even the semblance of free speech. Here is BBC (also ITN, Channel 4 etc) drone Michael Crick:
Growing consensus tonight that Ofcom needs more teeth and backbone. If the Conservatives don't sort it out, then let's hope Labour do.
These types are no different at root from Soviet media enforcers and sell-outs. They cannot wait for Jewish-lobby puppet Keir Starmer and his post-Blairite know-nothing MPs to form a quasi-dictatorial government, to really shut down freedom of expression using the Online Safety Bill expected to become law soon.
When you see Adam Boulton, Kay Burley, Tom Bradby, Newsnight presenters etc, you are not seeing people who live as slightly more affluent members of the public, but people paid literally millions of pounds per year. They are shackled to the System, afraid to lose their pay and privileges.
As a matter of fact, you find that most of these prominent media faces also have personal and family links with System politicians or those who work in TV current affairs. Examples:
“Boulton divorced his first wife, The Hon. Kerena Anne Boulton, after his affair with Tony Blair‘s spin doctorAnji Hunter became front page tabloid news in 2002.” [Wikipedia];
“Crick lives in Wandsworth,[33] South London, with his partner Lucy Hetherington, an executive TV producer who has managed documentaries and current affairs programmes. She is the daughter of former Guardian editor Alastair Hetherington.” [Wikipedia].

Ironic that it takes a non-European woman (married to a Jew, at that) to speak truth to power (don’t imagine that she herself holds any real power, even if she is Home Secretary).
Of course, the stupid, and/or treacherous/traitrous “open borders” Twit-mob, the “refugees welcome” dimwits etc, are all baying for her blood.
The fact is that the huge waves of immigration seen in the past decades, and especially since two events happened —the fall of socialism worldwide since 1989, and the fall of Gaddafi in 2011– do pose, as Suella Braverman says, an existential threat to the West as a whole, Europe as part of that, and the UK as one aspect of that.
It is instructive to read the impressions of people from North America etc who have recently visited the UK for the first time in many decades (1950s, 1960s). They are all appalled at the state of our largely-trashed country.
Suella Braverman pointed out that, in theory, as the laws and realities now are, nearly 800 million foreigners of various types could come to the UK. Of course that will not happen, if only because the UK would collapse into chaos long before. However, 80 million is not impossible over time, and 8 million is all but inevitable unless changes are made.
When I was born (1956), the population of the UK was rather more than 50 million. Now it stands at nearly 70 million, largely if not entirely by reason of immigration and also births to post-1945 immigrants or descendants thereof.
The UK is now in a downward spiral in terms of living standards, standards in public life, pay, pensions, State benefits, housing, healthcare, education, even the roads.
I suppose that Suella Braverman made her speech mainly —perhaps not entirely— for political reasons, including party-political reasons. The reason that it has had so much impact is because we so rarely hear politicians or —even more rarely— msm drones and scribblers actually telling the truth that we, the British people, see around us daily.
That speech will have had a powerful effect.
One of the reasons why the Conservative Party is so far behind Labour in the polls is because the Cons seem incapable of doing anything effectively, and the migration invasion across the Channel (which however may be as little as 10% of all immigration into this country) has become, as people now say, “iconic”, a symbol of general uselessness on the part of the Government.
This speech may steady the voting troops, but in the end is just a collection of words. We need action, not words.
Having said that, at least some of the voters may be waking up to the fact that Labour’s “solution” to immigration-overload will be to “safely” and quietly “process” (ie approve), and then funnel the invaders into the UK. The British people will only start to notice the results when there are almost no real British people left on the streets.
About 75% of so-called “asylum seekers” are eventually approved to stay in the UK, and only a tiny handful of the others are ever removed. Much of the world is in a state of chaos or tyranny or both, a delayed result of the disastrous Second World War and its consequences.
Both System parties of importance are part of the same conspiracy.
Looking at the 2024 General Election, the Con voters have almost given up, but anti-invasion rhetoric (and keeping the State Pension “triple lock”) may at least keep some of the generally anti-Labour older voters on board. We shall see.

He insisted that the war in Ukraine was not fuelling the current rows over migration, saying: ‘The issue is that migration pressure has been increasing, mainly due to wars – not the war against Ukraine…
‘It is the Syrian war, the Libyan war, the military coups in Sahel [a region in North Africa].
‘We are living in a circle of instability from Gibraltar to the Caucasus, and this happened before the Ukrainian war and will continue after the Ukrainian war.
‘Migration in Africa is not being caused by the war against Ukraine. The root causes of migration in Africa are lack of development, economic growth and bad governance.‘”

No doubt the reason for that is because “equal opportunities” at some point morphed into “some people are more equal than others”. I saw that both at the practising Bar (1991-1996 and 2002-2008) and when employed by (especially) a large City of London law firm on a 6-month contract in 1996.
In the latter situation, I saw how the relevant partners of that firm, quite obviously running scared of the whole feminism/”glass ceiling” situation, and with many links to high circles of the British Government, appointed as partner in charge of “emerging markets” (basically, the former Soviet Union), an “Australian” woman of semi-Russian background who seemed to know no law (outside that of New South Wales), and whose only qualification for the job seemed to be fluent Russian.
Disastrous (said woman was incapable of being in charge of anything), but when later eased out after several expensive scandals, said woman and waste of space was able to get herself another similar position elsewhere (and probably on similar remuneration— about a million ££ per year), until she messed up there too, and had to return to her native Australia (she became a trade envoy in the end, I believe).
I think that the problem there, and often elsewhere, is that you have —or had at that time, 25-30 years ago— a lot of English male lawyers who had basically been pretty much under the thumb of women all their lives: nannies, mothers and aunts, school matrons, and later wives, and they plainly wanted to “virtue-signal” (as people now say) by appointing a few token women to high positions. In the law firm to which I refer, there were several dozen full partners at the time (1996) but only one woman, as far as I recall, until the Russian-speaker was appointed.
Interesting. Whether the story or the meetings will affect the 2024 General Election is an unknown. I rather doubt it, inasmuch as the public still seem split on Brexit, though perhaps now there might be a small majority in favour of rejoining the EU after the disastrous mishandling of it all by the last few Prime Ministers and their governments.

The migration invasion will continue, get worse, and (alongside so-called “legal” migration and other factors) will eventually cause our whole society to topple over and break into pieces.

Kiev has no plan if Washington cuts military aid — Secretary of the Defense Council
In an interview with PBS, Alexei Danilov stated that the Ukrainian authorities "have no desire to enter into abstract discussions."
There it is; from the horse’s mouth. If Zelensky has his ricebowl taken away, the war will stop. In fact, it would stop within days. “Ukraine” (Kiev regime Ukraine) is a failed state. At present, not only arms and ammunition are supplied by, mainly, NATO states, but also energy, medical supplies, clothing and other consumer items, and vast sums of hard cash.

“This is the reason I eat 6/7 whole eggs daily not just one:
The egg is a wholesome, nutritious food with high nutrient density because, in proportion to its calorie count, it provides 12% of the daily value of protein and a wide variety of other nutrients such as vitamins, essential amino acids and minerals. While protein itself is an important constituent of healthy diet, the egg has been found to have two newly-recognized nutrients – lutein and zeaxanthin – that has put the egg in the “functional food” category. A functional food is one that provides health benefits beyond its basic nutrient content. The health benefits you get by eating eggs are as follows.
•Eggs do not raise blood cholesterol: It is true that when you eat eggs, cholesterol enters your body. However, eggs also give a signal for the liver to stop producing the cholesterol it usually produces. The increase in the intake of cholesterol compensates for the decrease in the cholesterol produced by the liver and therefore keeps the blood cholesterol levels constant.
•Eggs have choline: Choline is an incredibly important nutrient for your body. This is because it helps build cell membranes and is also crucial when it comes to the production of certain signalling molecules in the brain. A single egg has about 100 milligrams of this nutrient and therefore is one of the best sources of it.
•Eggs are good for your eyes: Eggs have two very important nutrients for your eyes. These are Lutein and Zeaxanthin. These nutrients stop degenerative processes from occurring in the eye. Recent studies have shown that consuming lutein and zeaxanthin can significantly lower risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of blindness affecting people over the age of 65. In addition, these reduce the likelihood of cataracts.
•Eggs have high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids: Eggs that are boiled have a high level of Omega-3 fatty acids in them. Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for reducing the chances of you suffering from heart disease due to the fact that it reduces your triglyceride levels.
•Eggs are an excellent source of protein: This is the biggest reason to eat eggs. Eating eggs helps you to lose weight, optimizing bone health and lowering blood pressure.
•Egg may reduce the risk of stroke: Studies have shown that eggs are not only good for your heart, but they also reduce the likelihood of suffering from a stroke.

During Zelenski’s visit to the USA, he first spoke from the podium of the UN General Assembly in front of a mostly empty hall, and the image makers “photoshopped” the full hall in which Zelenski himself was sitting. He then went to Washington, where the Speaker of the House of Representatives blocked his speech to Congress and was then questioned by a group of senators.

The Kiev regime cannot find conscripts now, let alone volunteers for its failed counter-offensive. In fact, to intrude a personal note, a funny little fellow, maybe 20-ish, delivered an Amazon item for my wife a couple of days ago. He spoke effectively no English, but understood Russian. Turned out that he was Ukrainian and that several others at his base were also Ukrainian. There must be tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, now in the UK.

“Partner“? Looking at the two photographs, one has to ask “why?“, or “what was she thinking?“…
The full report is misleading in respect of one of the locations. It seems that the friend lived not in “Maida Vale”, as claimed, but in Kilburn, a couple of miles to the north of where I myself used to live in Little Venice. Even the estate agencies, which have invented a non-area called “North Maida Vale”, would be hard put to claim the location of the murder as having been in any sort of Maida Vale; not even “borders of”, I should think.
Terrible. Life in most places outside London is hard without a car. I have a car now, but when I lived in New Jersey in the early 1990s, I did not drive or own a car (my American first wife had one, though).
Getting into Manhattan by express (non-stop) bus was fairly good and only took about 50 minutes once on board, but to travel crossways, either eastward to the Jersey Shore, or westward to nearby settlements such as South River, was almost impossible, and involved a longish walk and then a ride on the one very occasional local bus, the M15 (I always called it the “MI5”).
Very inconvenient, and that is more or less what is now being inflicted on many rural dwellers in England.

Look at the fundamentals: Russia is still a functioning and indeed flourishing state in most respects. It has an oil and gas sector exporting around the world, other mineral exports, a state income which is huge, and an army which, despite problems, can still fulfil its tasks. Then there are the 6,000+ nuclear weapons. Russia’s domestic economy continues to work normally. Russia has huge potential reserves of both manpower and armaments.
Contrast Kiev-regime Ukraine: 10%+ of its former territories occupied and/or broken away; a population whose very low birth-rate (insufficient to replace losses via deaths) is one factor, another being the 20% of the pre-2022 population now living beyond Ukrainian borders. The country cannot export by sea, its industry is at a near-standstill, and its shambolic and tyrannical Jew-Zionist government cannot replace the 350,000 soldiers killed or hors de combat. It is now having to use press-gangs. Only foreign aid is keeping the war going, the army supplied with arms and ammunition, and the civilian population supplied with money.

In my view, juries, long considered bulwarks of liberty, are becoming useless in that regard both in the USA and UK, allowing the plainly guilty to go free (as seen in the O.J. Simpson case in California 30+ years ago, and in many cases since, e.g. the Colston statue vandalism case in Bristol a few years ago), while all too often bending the knee to the infested state and the Jewish lobby in the UK, as in recent and very obviously contrived/faked-up pseudo-“terror” trials.

How ridiculous, to move a successful company like English National Opera out of its long-established home to some provincial centre.
Most countries concentrate their cultural treasures in terms of opera, ballet etc in one city, usually the national capital, a concentration of cultural forces. Moscow, Paris, etc. Not all, but the exceptions are countries which were only unified (or created) in the 19thC (Germany and Italy, the USA).
By all means tour around the UK, but base yourself in London. Also, the concentration of cultural companies in London leads to cross-fertilization of the arts.
The most important thing is to keep a bloc of white Northern Europeans intact, because that bloc can be the foundation for a later “super-race”, one far ahead of where we are now. That foundation has to be “post-Aryan” and white European; the other races and groups cannot provide such a foundation. The later “super-race” will be a quantum leap in human evolution. The other races and ethnicities will be left behind, just as, compared to our world of today, previous forms of humanity have been left behind.

Interesting. Usually, the “instructor” in such a situation would be the one from the army of the state, not from the private military company. However, who knows from where that “instructor” has come, in career terms? Russian Spetsnaz? The post-Soviet VDV? These are not fake “mercenaries” as once found in Soldier of Fortune etc. They are a very serious fighting force.
“A historic royal census, known as “swan upping”, has revealed a 40% drop in the number of cygnets on the River Thames, compared with last year.
The decline has been blamed on avian flu but also a growing problem of violence, including shootings, catapult attacks and dogs killing swans.“
[BBC]
I was saddened to hear, on BBC Radio 3 news this morning, that same report, i.e. that the number of swans counted on the Thames this year is about 40% lower than in previous years, and that, worse yet, part of the decline is because of “increased violence towards swans“. Jesus Christ! What sort of horrible bastards are cruel to swans?! They should be flayed alive if caught mistreating swans.
Having said that, there was always a small amount of such badness. I remember rowing my inflatable boat, with someone from my school, down the then-still-closed river Kennet in 1971, and seeing a dead swan in the water. The swan was obviously not long dead. That happened somewhere between Newbury and Reading. Not long after having seen the dead swan, we passed an unpleasant-looking young man on the bank, not older than about 20, with some kind of rifle or air-rifle. Were the two sights connected? I think probably they were.
Incidentally, the Kennet, and connected Kennet and Avon, was then only navigable by carrying the boat around disused locks, over barbed-wire fences etc. Since then, volunteers have been able to re-open the waterway to traffic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kennet_and_Avon_Canal.

Pakistani “Scotsman”, SNP Leader and First Minister of Scotland Humza Yousaf, now proposes the flooding of Scotland with new huge numbers of Pakistani and other migrant-invaders.
If that were ever to happen as proposed, many migrant-invaders would take up Scottish citizenship purely in order to, sooner or later, relocate to England. That in turn would entail the building of…a wall…to keep them out. Certainly the construction of border fortifications.
In reality, though, it will almost certainly never happen. Even bearing in mind the pseudo-nationalist idiocy that leads to nearly half of the Scottish electorate voting SNP (that’s right— the SNP has never garnered even half of Scottish votes), this must surely give even die-hard SNP supporters pause.
Yousaf may just have cost the SNP a goodly portion of its votes.
I usually steer clear of commenting on Scottish politics, but think that faux-“Independence” is losing traction.

As I predicted on the blog a couple of days ago, this was a “battle of the apathies”. Complete “Conservative” omnishambles meets Labour mediocrity (both on the national and constituency levels).
The successful Conservative candidate drew a veil over both the non-performance of the Rishi Sunak government and the egregiously poor behaviour (and capabilities) of ex-MP “Boris” Johnson; the candidate just kept hitting at the ridiculous Sadiq Khan ULEZ scheme [“Ultra Low Emission Zone”], and saying very little else about anything.
In a sense that concentration on ULEZ shows how meaningless the supposed “democracy” of the UK now is. The ULEZ idea and policy was first mooted by none other than “Boris”-idiot and the Conservative Party in London. Quite apart from that, the new Con Party MP, one Steve Tuckwell [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Tuckwell] will be able to exercise precisely zero influence over the ULEZ scheme and Sadiq Khan.
The Labour Party candidate, Danny Beales, was arguably not a good candidate in the particular constituency, an outer London suburb. Gay, a former councillor in inner-city Camden, and a graduate of the London School of Economics.
That said, the result was close— 495 votes decided it. Both the LibDem voters (526, fifth place), and/or the Green Party voters (893, third place), had they voted tactically, could have prevented the narrow Con Party victory. Neither Greens nor LibDems had a chance of winning, and both lost their deposits, along with the other 13 candidates, all of whom could be described as either “minor” or “joke” candidates.
The actor Laurence Fox, for Reclaim, did well, in a minor way, to come fourth, not far behind the Green. Still, this was really between Con Party (13,965 votes, 45.2%) and Labour (13,470, 43.6%). The other 15 parties and independents only scored 11.2% between them.
It does puzzle me why LibDem voters in particular did not all vote tactically. Some did, plainly, looking at previous election results where the LibDem vote was higher by far (peaking at 20% in 2010, though only 6.3% in 2019), but not enough.
Why did 526 LibDems bother to trot down to vote, knowing that their candidate had no chance? Even if they hated both Con and Lab, and so were unwilling to vote for either, why bother to vote? As someone said of golf, “a good walk spoiled“.
So a Conservative Party win, though scarcely a ringing endorsement.
Turnout was about 2/3 of that in 2019, and indeed the previous elections. I am assuming from that that many former Conservative voters, in what was since creation in 2010 a fairly safe Conservative seat (a new seat on these boundaries), just threw up their hands in disgust at both main System parties, could find no other home for their votes, and so “voted with their feet”— abstained.
The successful Labour candidate is 25, once again (like the Labour candidate at Uxbridge) gay (seems that it is almost compulsory now in the Labour Party), and has only worked for 18 months since leaving university. Interestingly, those 18 months were spent working at the Confederation of British Industry, a more usual place in which to find young Conservatives, surely?
Also, he spent some months in 2019 and 2020 working with Wes Streeting, the “centrist” (Labour Friends of Israel) MP. So it seems that Keir Mather will fit easily into the Keir Starmer Labour Party. Not much else is yet known about him: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keir_Mather.
Why did Mather win what had previously been regarded as a safe Conservative seat? As at Uxbridge, the implication is surely obvious: former Conservative voters were appalled at both major System parties, and so preferred to stay home rather than vote Labour (or elsewhere).
Mather scored 46% of the overall vote, as against 34.3% scored by his Con Party opponent.
Since the creation of the seat in 2010, the Conservative Party had won easily all elections, scoring between 49.4% (2010) and 60.3% (2019). Labour, however, had scored only around 25% of the vote, except in 2017, under Corbyn, when the Labour Party candidate managed over 34%.
The key here, as with Uxbridge, lies in the turnout. The by-election turnout was only 44.8%, whereas in 2019 it was 71.7% (and in previous elections, not dissimilar).
The implication, again, as at Uxbridge, is that former Conservative Party voters, in a formerly safe Conservative area, simply decided not to vote.
There was obviously a degree of tactical voting at Selby; the LibDem vote went down from 8.6% to 3.3%; without tactical voting, the result would have been much closer but not, in my view, different.
Incidentally, the LibDems only managed sixth place, no doubt because many otherwise LibDems voted Labour. The third place went to the Greens, whose candidate was the only one of the minor candidates to save his deposit (5.1%).
I was interested to see that a “Yorkshire Party” candidate, one Mike Jordan, who failed to fill in his nomination papers properly and so was a blank space (not even “Independent”) on the ballot paper, yet managed to score 4.2%. Not bad in the circumstances, and maybe a sign that localism, or at least regionalism, may be resurgent as central government falters and fails.
The Selby contest had other things in common with that at Uxbridge— contempt for the former MP (at Selby, he had stepped down apparently in order to damage Sunak and his party, and after having been passed over for a peerage); the fact that both seats were 2010 creations on their present boundaries; and of course the fact that the public are both despairing and angry at the overall non-performance by Sunak and his Cabinet. Mass immigration, migration invasion, cost of living increases, inflation, crime, NHS defaults etc.
The result was that Labour won at Selby, and very nearly won at Uxbridge, only by default. There is no enthusiasm at all for the Labour Party and its non-policies (basically the same as the Conservative Party policies), but equally there is no enthusiasm (and no respect) for Sunak and his Cabinet of (mainly) non-Brits (Indians, a black or half-caste or two, the odd Jew). These were by-elections. The ruling party is inevitably on the back foot.
Starmer’s strategy seems to be not to rock the boat now that Labour is ahead in the opinion polls. It is hard for Sunak and Con Party to score a hit on Labour’s battleship simply because Labour policy now so closely mirrors that of the Con Party. Almost indistinguishable. If the Conservative Party attacks Labour policy, it is to a large extent criticizing its own policy. In a sense, brilliant… but also dispiriting and pointless.
The LibDem candidate, Sarah Dyke [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Dyke] won easily, as predicted. I blogged briefly about her a couple of days ago. Her vote-share of 56.4%, as against the Conservative candidate’s 26.2%, mirrors in reverse almost exactly the result at the 2019 General Election.
Third place went to the Greens, with a fairly sizeable vote (10.2%). Reform UK beat Labour and three minor candidates for fourth place, but still lost the deposit, with 3.4%.
In a mostly affluent and bucolic area of this sort, Labour has little chance, and its vote has dropped below 5% in the past, though it scored 17.2% in 2017 (under Corbyn) and 12.9% in 2019. It is clear that, realising that Labour had no chance, former Labour voters voted tactically at the by-election, and that Labour’s 2.6% vote reflected that.
Turnout was, as at the other by-elections yesterday, pathetic— 44.23%. That compares to 75.6% in 2019, and turnouts in previous election which only once dropped below 70%, and which once exceeded 82%.
The LibDems held Somerton and Frome until 2015, so were always going to have a chance in the seat, once the “Con Coalition” of 2010-2015 faded from immediate memory, though the damage from that was still evident in 2019, at which election the LibDems scored only 26.2% (exactly the same as the Conservative Party vote at yesterday’s by-election).
The conclusion is pretty clear: the Conservative voters of 2019 either stayed home yesterday, or switched to the LibDems, Former Labour voters switched to LibDem to hit out at the Sunak misgovernment.
As at the other two by-elections, the contempt many apparently felt for the ex-MP, Warburton, was certainly another important factor, though perhaps not the most important.
Overall conclusion as to the main System parties in the light of the by-elections
The LibDems only have a chance to gain seats in rural/affluent parts of southern or south-western England. I do not see them recovering in any big way elsewhere.
The Conservative Party government is toast, surely. It will have to fall back on its hard core, mostly fairly comfortably-off homeowners aged 70+.
475 seats for Labour. That is “elected dictatorship”.
I just tried the “user-defined poll” at Electoral Calculus. My guesses resulted in only 61 seats for the Conservative Party.
What about Labour? Well, I detect no real enthusiasm for Labour, which means that there is every chance that the new MP for Selby may only be an MP for about a year, and will then have to find a less well-paid and less interesting (?) job.
More seriously, the only way that Indian money-juggler Rishi Sunak could claw back some electoral support would be to STOP the boats, CUT BACK the main (i.e. “legal”) mass immigration, DEPORT hundreds of thousands, RENATIONALIZE water, rail and possibly the energy utilities, and start to really bat for Britain.
Those 2019 Conservative Party voters might return to the Con fold, but only if they see some action; words are played-out.
Still, none of the three by-election seats are natural Labour territory.
Pretty hard, though, for an Indian whose Cabinet is mainly non-white, or Jewish, and who worked for the predatory Goldman Sachs bankers (and so is a globalist “libertarian” by instinct).
It seems to me a 50-50 chance that the Conservative Party MPs will ditch Sunak before the next general election, but if they do, who on Earth can they try to present to the public as a credible leader?
As for attacking Starmer, the only things that might work would be to use American-style personal attacks, and to focus on his complete mendacity, his broken promises, on his “taking the knee” to the “Black Lives Matter” thugs, and his being completely in the pocket of the Jew-Zionist/Israel lobby (the only thing is— so are the “Conservatives”…).
Conclusion, then— Labour will probably win in 2024 by default, but if some real movement on the above-designated issues were to happen, it might be a different story…

After the backlash by Tories of newly-elected 25 year-old #KierMather I see this Observer piece about 29 year-old life peer Charlotte Owen is doing the rounds again.
Picture by me of Downing Street staff (Owen, centre) on the day that Johnson resigned: https://t.co/krUhOIqfCO
There are really only two realistic possibilities: either she is Johnson’s secret daughter (one of them) or she was being screwed by him. It now turns out that she was only a kind of temp anyway, covering the job usually done by a recent mother. Maternity cover.
Britain is so screwed, it is hard to believe.
What about the House of Lords? At least the guy in Selby was elected. Ross Kempsell and Charlotte Owen were put in the Lords by disgraced former PM Boris Johnson for seemingly having achieve relatively little in their short careers, yet they're set fair for life. https://t.co/vjnEeWfEN8

As for “Baroness” Chapman, she was an MP for 9 years (2010-2019), and then (having been voted out as MP) was elevated to the Lords on Starmer’s nomination, having previously done sweet FA by way of work in her life except a short time as the constituency manager for ghastly careerist MP Alan Milburn. So she can shut up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenny_Chapman.
She is the mother of children, and that (and presumably being a “home-maker”) is a very honourable estate, but it is not the “real life experience” of work in the outer world, as per that clip.
As for Johnny Mercer MP, I have found him a big disappointment as MP, but I think that he can claim a great deal more “life experience” than “Baroness” Chapman, let alone that epicene little creature who is now the MP for Selby and Ainsty.
Many people on Twitter are incredibly ignorant and at the same time very dogmatic. I just saw a tweet saying that the Selby creature is “2-3 years older than Margaret Roberts [i.e. Margaret Thatcher] when she became an MP...”.
In fact, wrong, and on two counts. First, Margaret Roberts was born in 1925, and became an MP in 1959, shortly before her 34th birthday. She had married in 1951, so fought her first successful first election as Margaret Thatcher and not Margaret Roberts as claimed.
Well, there it is. Effete, epicene little “Labour MP” is going to support Starmer, Rachel Reeves etc in continuing the policy (policies?) laid down by the Con Coalition of David Cameron-Levita, Theresa May, “Boris”-idiot, Liz Truss, and now the Indian money-juggler, Sunak.
Anyone who thinks that Starmer-Labour will be in any way an improvement on the “Conservative” omnishambles of a Government is sadly mistaken; in fact, deluded.
Actually, listening to Keir Mather there, I think that “Lord Charles” would have sounded more credible.
[Lord Charles, with Ray Alan]
To be honest, my first thought on seeing and hearing Keir Mather is that he seemed to be in need of a good kick.

His column this week is worth reprinting in detail:
“What is conservative about privatisation? What has it conserved? How has it helped the nation be stronger and safer?
Though there are many more, I will take just three examples.
Once, Britain had a first-rate nuclear power industry and could build its own atomic power stations. Then we privatised that and decades of experience and wisdom were scattered to the winds.
And now we have to get the Chinese, a despotic menace, to provide the nuclear energy we will so badly need, very soon, thanks to our mad dogma-driven destruction of coal-fired power stations.
Then come the railways, ripped to pieces so that pretend capitalists – sustained by far bigger subsidies than British Rail ever got – could trouser taxpayers’ money for providing a worse service than the one they replaced. In a bitter paradox much of the system is now run by foreign (nationalised) railway concerns. And this is a great British invention we gave to the world.
And now there is water. Thames Water, the vital strategic supply for the national capital and the economically crucial region around it, is now virtually bankrupt. Its boss quit suddenly last week. The official version is that the company may simply collapse under the weight of its debts, now £14 billion.
Under one of its recent owners, a foreign bank, £2.7 billion was taken out of the company in dividends, while debts rose from £3.4 billion to £10.8 billion. They have not since stopped rising, while Thames Water has become notorious for unfixed leaks and disgusting discharges of sewage into rivers.
You might think renationalisation is the obvious solution. But it will be hugely expensive, as the pension funds and other shareholders cannot simply be dispossessed without compensation. And here is the fascinating thing. You will not hear any significant voices in Sir Keir Starmer’s very Left-wing Labour Party calling for a full renationalisation.
The modern Left is keen to nationalise childhood and what used to be the family. It defies any attempts to reform the NHS or the schools for the benefit of the public. But it long ago abandoned its 1945 enthusiasm for state ownership of the commanding heights of the economy.
But that was in the lost days when Labour was led by patriots who wanted to make the country stronger. They have all gone.
And you might say that if Labour will not renationalise these failed private enterprises, what use is it? And I would agree with you.
If we want to undo this undoubted catastrophe, then rescue will not come from Sir Keir. Patriotic conservatives will have to nerve themselves to admit that the whole thing was a disastrous mistake and pledge themselves to put it right. If they do, they’ll be surprised at just how much support they will get.“

Incidentally, while I concede that expropriation without compensation is contra international law, my inclination at this point is to say “and your point is?“…
“Senior ministers are expecting a “total clearout” of Tory MPs ahead of the next election, as party sources cited the experience of Boris Johnson’s premiership, the increasing stresses of the job and a continuing slump in the polls as reasons for a forthcoming bumper crop of departures.
More than 40 Conservative MPs have already announced they will step down at the next election – the most for a ruling party since the exodus of 100 Labour MPs ahead of the 2010 election in the wake of the expenses scandal and 13 years in government.
A senior party source said they were expecting “lots more” of the 352 Tory MPs to announce they were leaving as the election approaches. Insiders said the political chaos of recent years meant many had stayed in parliament much longer than they had intended. “There are loads more to come, there will be a total clearout,” said a senior party figure.”

“Half of the social housing in London is occupied by immigrant-led households. In my heavily council-owned neighbourhood, the students who flood the pavements on weekday afternoons are nearly all ethnically Asian or African.
Last week, a government impact statement estimated that within three years the bill for housing asylum seekers is on track to multiply by five times: to £30 million a day or £11 billion a year.
Indeed, one of the biggest pull factors drawing migrants from Calais is that France doesn’t provide uninvited visitors housing in the way that Britain does.
...asylum is a sideshow. It serves the function of the magician’s sleight of hand. The audience is distracted by one motion while the trick is slyly performed with another. Britain’s population is soaring from legal immigration.
Last year a Conservative government let 1.2 million people move to the UK, resulting in net immigration of 606,000. In a statistically meticulous report, Migration Watch calculates that if this same level of ingress is sustained, the UK’s population will rise to between 83 million and 87 million by 2046.
This will require between six and eight million more homes – the equivalent of 15 to 18 Birminghams. Apologies for the catastrophism, but that’s assuming the 606,000 annual influx remains constant, whereas the trend since Tony Blair came to power has been for net inward migration to keep rising.
Most new adult immigrants are of childbearing age, and Britain’s overwhelmingly non-European arrivals abundantly hail from cultures that favour larger families.
At current rates of immigration, between 263,000 and 313,000 homes would have to be built each year to accommodate rising population (in addition to the new homes a steady-state population requires, because buildings don’t last for ever). At current rates of immigration, between 263,000 and 313,000 homes would have to be built each year to accommodate rising population.
High immigration puts enormous pressure on the NHS – but we needn’t even go there.
Neither need we address the cultural implications of a foreign-born population already at 17 per cent of England and Wales – up from just over 13 per cent in only 2011.
Whatever your politics, this isn’t a matter of generosity and niceness. Even if you’re sympathetic with the plight of foreigners who merely want a better life, Britain doesn’t have the housing, much less the social housing, to accommodate the soaring population that results from current levels of immigration.“
[Daily Mail]
Down the line, a UK civil war, not a race war as such but a mixed social-racial-cultural-ideological war, is coming, inevitably now. Continuing mass immigration, and the consequences flowing from mass immigration, are a large part of the reason.

You can see clearly now how economic enterprises (banks, building societies, insurance companies etc) are being infiltrated and abused in order to punish dissidents: members of Patriotic Alternative, Nigel Farage, Scott Ritter, many others. Eventually, Russia will win this, though the victory may well be bitter.
Macron is resisting calls from his police and military commanders to declare a state of emergency as he believes it will weaken his already fractious presidency, as rioters have raided looted police stations and are now armed with automatic weapons

Those by-elections will be interesting, though of course just part of the System faked show overall. I shall probably blog about them once I know the runners and riders.
Reading that Daily Mail report, I notice that its Deputy Political Editor, one David Wilcock, does not seem to know the difference between “latter” and “last“. Typical of the times in which we live.
Naturally, I myself oppose both System parties, parts of the same corrupt and ideologically-wrong set-up.
It is a moot point as to whether it is better for social-nationalism that there be a weak System government (whether Lab or Con), or that one party (at present, Con) be all but wiped out. The former is probably the case, so that System politics is seen as unable to do anything to progress Britain, thus leading to support for social nationalism. At present though, it seems ever more likely that the Con party will be nearly annihilated at any general election, held in the neat year or so.

I've just read that @BootstrapCook post. She either lied about the pawn shop or came into some cash to buy some Tiffany earrings and a £8k brietling watch that she was pictured wearing at a recent book signing. It's just so tiresome
Still no explanation from BBC Question Time as to why “Jack Monroe” was invited onto the show not long ago, thus facilitating more of her fraudulent activities. She was exposed years ago as a continual liar, and increasingly, certainly since mid-2022, as an outright fraud.
I myself have been surprised, over the past year, as to how outrageous the “Jack Monroe “grift”/fraud is and has been.
Thinking about the “Jack Monroe” fraud and/or “grift” reminded me of a similarly untruthful character I encountered 30 years ago.
When I returned from the USA in 1993, and started to try to make a living at the Bar (based in exceptionally-poor chambers in London), I did both civil and criminal cases, though I was never much at home in the criminal courts.
At that time (maybe still today, I do not know), solicitors employed unqualified stray persons as “outdoor clerks”, who would attend court hearings on behalf of the instructing solicitors, and in support of Counsel appearing. They had no rights of audience but were more or less messengers and “spear-carriers”.
Such “outdoor clerks” were people most of whom had no legal training at all: out-of-work actors, retired people in need of a financial top-up, all sorts. The advantage in employing them, for solicitors, was the low cost. I seem to recall that a recently-retired lady I knew got £10 or so (maybe £40 or £50 in today’s money) to attend. Most of the hearings were brief, and even with the waiting around etc, the “outdoor clerk” was usually free by lunchtime if not before. Any more-serious hearings, including trials weightier than minor traffic matters, would usually be attended by an articled clerk (trainee solicitor) or a solicitor in person.
One fine day, I was sent to appear in the magistrates’ court somewhere, and was met at court by an outdoor clerk, a rather swarthy mustachioed person, maybe late thirties, who looked more like what the police might term a “villain” than any kind of quasi-legal representative. As soon as he had introduced himself, a furious man accosted him and said “I need a word with you!“, upon which the pair adjourned to a nearby room where I could see them arguing.
The outdoor clerk, one Mitch Baird, then re-emerged, explaining that the furious man was a solicitor with mental health problems. I accepted that explanation by default. I was thinking more about the case in hand, the first appearance of a defendant in an indictable case.
After that, I was instructed on other matters (civil as well as criminal) by the same firm of solicitors, headed by a Jew called “Maxwell”, so encountered Mitch Baird fairly frequently. I met his West Indian girlfriend, with whom he lived (when around). A pleasant woman. I also met her mother. Their house (belonging to the mother) was a large detached Victorian house in the Stamford Hill area of London better known for its population of Hasidic Jews. I even attended a kind of garden party there, well-attended by an eclectic mix, including at least one Metropolitan Police detective (I would never have guessed his occupation).
That all-day barbeque/garden party, which I helped Baird to set up, was also notable for the amount of booze consumed: Baird and I alone drank (I think) 12 (it may have been “only” 8, but even so…) bottles of Bulgarian red wine between us (it seems impossible to me now…), before, late in the evening, heading to Le Caribe, “London’s only silver-service Caribbean restaurant” (now long-closed), a mile or so away, for a couple of imported (Trinidadian) Carib beers at the bar, overlooking a scene of gold-festooned Yardie types dining nearby. Baird then drove me home to Little Venice and dropped me off there. God knows what his alcohol reading would have been, had he been stopped.
Well, suffice to say that the said Baird was not to be trusted. Reports and complaints gradually emerged. For example, he had, apparently, actually taken money in cash from the family of a young Trinidadian visitor for legal defence, when the latter was supposedly legally aided! I had appeared for the defendant, managed to get the charge dropped as well (possession of an offensive weapon), but was never paid (Baird had obviously not put in the requisite legal aid papers).
In a civil case involving defamation, Baird had (in my own chambers, after a conference), got the lay client to make out a cheque for £2,000 to Baird himself. I was myself totally unaware of those facts at the time.
When the lay client discovered that my written advice was that the case was unlikely to succeed, he complained to my clerk that he had been cheated by both the Jew solicitor, “Maxwell”, and by Baird (I was cleared by the client of dishonesty but described in his letter as having not understood what a good case he had! His letter had gone to the Law Society (the solicitors’ body), I think, with the names of all concerned, such as MILLARD, in capital letters, as in the files of the Security Service. That detail has always stuck in my memory.
The lay client had demanded that my clerk, or I myself, somehow get back his money.
Though I was myself blameless (as was my almost useless clerk of the time), I could see the situation snowballing. My clerk had discovered that the £2,000 cheque (worth at least £6,000 today) had been paid into a bank account controlled by Baird’s girlfriend, Baird having himself been blackballed by all banks. I therefore pressured the girlfriend on the telephone, telling her (truthfully) that she could go to prison if the money was not handed back.
I am not a natural bully, but needs must, and after a great deal of bitter tears, the girlfriend did agree to give the money to my clerk, who returned it to the lay client.
I believe that Baird split up later with that woman. No loss (to her). She was probably unaware that she was but one string to his bow. In fact, a very nice St. Lucian bar owner woman had told me that various West Indian women were always telephoning the bar for Baird, leaving messages etc.
Baird then had the cheek to telephone me at chambers and threaten to “give you a good hiding”, as he put it, if I refused to give him, via my clerk, the £2,000. I invoked the name of the Metropolitan Police, then put the telephone down. I never heard from Baird again.
In the interim, though, I happened to meet, at court, that furious man described at the beginning of this story. It turned out that, far from being the lunatic described by Baird, he was a most reasonable fellow, a solicitor who had employed Baird in the recent past as outdoor clerk, and who had discovered that Baird was stealing money, tricking clients out of cash, demanding cash even when the defendant was legally-aided etc.
That solicitor also gave me some background. It seemed that Baird’s parents were mestizos from one of the main Caribbean islands (I forget which), and that his father was a pillar of the community (I think a surgeon). Baird was white-ish but his half-brother not. Baird himself had apparently been a shocking disappointment and source of shame to his parents, by reason of his various behaviours in the Caribbean.
That solicitor had told me how it had taken him a long time to untangle the skein of fraud, theft, and lack of any responsibility, of Baird. The Law Society had been on the solicitor’s neck, I think.
I was contacted not long afterward by that half-brother of Baird, who begged me to meet him and his Polish girlfriend to discuss the matter. Turned out that he worked in a senior (he said) or middle-management (my guess) role at Citibank. He was afraid of scandal tarnishing him, especially the fraudulent aspects of his half-brother’s behaviour.
I met the couple at Ronnie Scott’s, the famous Soho jazz club, which I had not visited previously, and which I found quite interesting. The “Citibank” Baird and Polish girlfriend (a blonde dentist), who seemed to have some kind of VIP membership (we were able to jump the queue to get in) were not unpleasant, and we discussed the problem amicably enough before parting.
What struck me at the time is how the fraudulent Baird had managed to get away with many things because most people, most of the time, believe most of what is told to them, especially when they are introduced (by others, or via mass media “validation”) to the fraudulent individual in such a way as to lull suspicion.
It takes time to wake up to the lies of a hard-core narcissist.
Here we come to the similarity with “Jack Monroe”, the so-called “Bootstrap Cook”. She was introduced to the public by sort-of-trusted organizations and people. The Guardian. The Observer. TV shows. Nigella Lawson, the Jewish TV cook. Others.
That validation (which to some extent continues— incredibly, “Jack Monroe” was on BBC Question Time recently, long after her “grifting” and outright fraud was exposed) makes many tend not to question her bona fides.
Even now, you see on Twitter those unthinking people perfectly happy to accept that “Jack Monroe” crowdfunded to “sue Lee Anderson”, then did not sue Lee Anderson (a few of the mugs even think that she did sue— and won!), and then (as she claims) donated all those crowdfunded monies to an unnamed food bank, indeed to one which she refuses to name. Meanwhile she tries to pull the old “mental health”, “physical health”, and “fear of stalkers and trolls” stunts, which she has used many times previously when suspicions about her gather.
Some commentators think that I am wasting my time on “Jack Monroe” and her mug supporters. Probably, but it makes me angry to see vulnerable, well-meaning, often elderly and, not-infrequently seen, disabled and sick people being taken for mugs by that cheat and liar, who is just laughing at them, if only they were able to wake up and see it.
Where are the police? Still seizing “racist” teddy bears? Still snooping on Twitter or blog posts?
Finally, I have no idea what happened to the egregious Mitch Baird. Maybe the bastard died. Many of those who target me seem to live relatively short lives. Or maybe he just faded into terminal obscurity.
