Thoughts about “two-tier Keir”, two-tier “justice” etc

I often look at local newspapers online. Sometimes, you can get a better idea of where UK society is from those sources than you do from the national Press.

I just saw a few reports in the local Press, from several places in the south of England, which must surely stagger anyone who has observed the almost Stalinist sentences recently handed down to those who have been involved directly or indirectly in the recent protests or so-called “riots”.

Example: a mixed-race individual described as “a powerful thug” lost his jacket in a bar. He demanded that the barman find it. He then punched the barman and, despite other staff intervening, did so again. Door staff detained him after a struggle, the police arrived, and he then punched a policeman in the face. Previous offences of violence. Result? Non-custodial sentence.

Another example? “Traveller” (Irish tinker/”gypsy”) took police on a high-speed chase in a van. Much damage done, and some injury to members of the public. Tried to run off after he crashed. Uninsured. No driving licence. Multiple previous convictions. Result? Non-custodial sentence.

The recent sentencing for “political” or quasi-political “crimes” has mostly been a disgrace, and has actually shown up the System politicians, notably “two-tier” Keir, as being not strong (as they try to project) but fearful, and the System itself as brittle, without much resilience.

Incidentally, I was just thinking about that time, related in the New Testament, when Jesus Christ overturned the tables of the Jew moneychangers and did other “rebellious” actions, and scourged the moneychangers (at least symbolically):

Now obviously the motivation of Jesus Christ was not the same as those “rioting” or protesting in the UK recently, but it could yet be described as “ideological” and/or “rebellious”, and certainly His actions were not that different from those of some of the recent defendants sentenced to imprisonment for having shouted insulting words, overturned cars, assaulted policemen and others etc.

Admittedly, one cannot imagine Jesus Christ looting a sausage-roll shop…

I nearly forgot to add that the said “tinker”, mentioned above, was sentenced to a non-custodial sentence partly because “he had to support” (I wonder how, exactly?) no less than 7 children, with another expected shortly.

Meanwhile, every single year, many millions more “migrants” (migrant-invaders) flood into Europe. A million or so or them end up invading Britain (whether as “legals” or “illegals”, often posing as permitted entrants (“fiancees”, “spouses”, “students”, workers with work visas, “tourists” etc). Many just disappear into “the community” once here.

I have been reading The View from the Foothills: the Diaries of Chris Mullins [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Mullin_(politician)], published in 2009.

In an entry from a date in 2000, Mullins (appointed a junior minister under Blair) notes that one major problem with housing provision is that “most of the private rental housing has been soaked up by asylum seekers“.

So Caroline Lucas, though wrong in the specifics (the Tudors did not “invent” English national identity), is not totally wrong inasmuch as that identity, as we now understand it, was to a large extent initially the product of the Tudor period.

The truth is that the “authorities” are afraid of the blacks. They know that, were this ridiculous and out-of-place “festival” to be prohibited, the blacks would go *** —what’s the phrase?— well, let’s just say they would get angry. As in burn down London angry. As in destroy Notting Hill angry. Therefore, the Notting Hill Carnival will be an annual nuisance until Britain has a proper government and society.

I tend to agree. Not everyone who has a bicycle, obviously, but the members of the Lycra clothing/silly cap/2-wheel death squad brigade.

That might be just a way of preventing the Kiev regime from redeploying some forces to the Kursk incursion. We shall see.

Saturday quiz

A poor week. I scored only the same as political journalist John Rentoul— 3/10. I knew only the answers to questions 1, 2, and 5; had I thought a bit more, I should also have recalled no. 9 and no. 10.

Talking point

As David Starkey says, Starmer is (along with others and, particularly but not exclusively, in “the party formerly known as Labour”) attempting to institute a kind of “woke” and multikulti police state.

Where I differ from Starkey is in having no faith in the idea that a different ethos of national identity can suddenly emerge or be fostered, not without a homogenous population. The UK population is going the other way, becoming ever-more heterogenous, and spinning out of control.

I also differ from Starkey in that he thinks, or hopes, that, if he or someone else puts forward a reasoned and reasonable argument, eventually people will accept the propositions put forward. The credo of the traditional or classical academic.

All very well, as far as it goes, but Mao put forward the credo of Realpolitik, that is “political power comes out of the barrel of a gun“.

Not that that I agree wholeheartedly with that Maoist quotation either. The —by any other name— “revolution” in the DDR/East Germany in 1989 was not violent. There were vast, though peaceful, demonstrations in several major DDR cities (Dresden, Leipzig etc). The Lutheran Church was part of all that.

The East German state was still arresting some dissidents even in 1989, but the heart had gone. I recall the strange feeling I had when spending a couple of days in the DDR in 1988. Like a stage set of a state rather than a real one, an impression made stronger by the seemingly almost-depopulated southern parts of East Germany through which I travelled by car. I have blogged once or twice previously about my impressions of the place(s).

As a matter of fact, the slightly contrived “revolutions” of the late 1980s in Romania, Czechoslovakia etc were mainly non-violent, as they were in the pribaltika (Baltic states). I myself saw Czechoslovakia briefly in 1988, just before it all happened, and was in Poland several times in 1988 and 1989.

In Poland, even in 1988, one got the impression that the state there was going through the motions of being a “socialist” state but that, just under the surface, the whole population, pretty much, was “dissident” in one way or another; a kind of vast, non-violent anti-socialist conspiracy of a whole people.

Even in the Soviet Union, a huge “revolution” happened over several years in the late 1980s and early 1990s, mostly though not entirely peaceful, and including (as in Romania and elsewhere) many elements of the socialist-state structure.

Starkey is or was a Conservative, politically. He seems at least slightly taken with Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick. Why? The first is a Nigerian (though born in London) and so, in my opinion, unfitted by that fact alone to be a British political leader, let alone Prime Minister. I have, also, never heard anything worthwhile from her.

As to Jenrick, I have several problems with him too. He appears to be at least partly English, but his full provenance is not in the public domain; at least, I myself have never seen it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Jenrick#Early_life_and_non-political_career.

Born 1982, qualified late as solicitor, aged 26, but was in legal practice for only about 4 years (with two of the leading American law firms, sequentially; presumably quite junior), and was then (somehow; how?) a director of Christie’s auctioneers (though only until he became an MP a few months later).

Jenrick’s provenance interests me. It also disquiets.

Jenrick, yet another member of Conservative Friends of Israel, is tied up with Jewish businessmen and property-developer sharks, and pushed for the ruination of the small park by the Palace of Westminster by the proposed construction of a hugely-ugly “holocaust” “memorial” and propaganda centre.

In addition, Jenrick ordered, as minister for immigration, murals for children of migrant-invaders to be painted over because the colourful murals might give them pleasure and comfort.

No-one, I think, could accuse me of being either pro-immigration or in favour of granting privileges to migrant-invaders, but that mean-spirited targeting of any small children of such invaders by Jenrick felt morally wrong to me.

Like Starmer, Jenrick is married to a Jewish woman and has had children with her.

Jenrick just feels wrong to me. He’s a bad apple.

As to the Starkey interview, while I can agree with much of what he says there, he is too much in the ivory tower in the end.

Ironically, for someone “cancelled” by the System for making “racist” remarks, he seems to me insufficiently so. How does he imagine this country will recover in the way that he hopes when 20% of the population is already non-European, and with another ~million coming in every year at present? Make that, conservatively, about a 2% increase annually.

It seems to me that Starkey knows in his heart that I am right (even if, as is quite likely, he has never heard of me), but fears to say so; don’t forget that he “apologized” and tried to retract after he was “cancelled”. Never pretend to apologize to either the mob or to “them” (((them))).

The video is worth watching, though.

Poor thinking skills. Very poor, in fact. A fanatic, but one with nothing of interest to say. Claims that “legal immigrants” (the vast majority of all immigrants) all “come into the country with a job“. A straight lie. Huge numbers enter as supposed “fiances”, “fiancees”, “spouses”, “students”, “family members”, “asylum seekers” etc; and even those supposedly entering “with a job” (on work visas) are often not bona fide at all.

I fear that much of Starmer’s strongest support comes from semi-educated and anti-British fanatics of that sort.

I rather think that GB News had that Butterworth on because they knew that he would create a kind of petty storm among the discussion panel.

Interesting to note that the msm always applauds “resistance” (including violent “resistance”) in, for example, historically, the Third Reich, the Soviet Union, Italy, Spain, and in various other parts of the world; in South America, even in contemporary North America and Europe, so long as Jews, non-whites, or sometimes Communist partisans, are doing the various forms of “protest”, but as soon as contemporary white people do the same, they must, apparently, be shut down, “cancelled”, even prosecuted and, indeed, even imprisoned. Not even because they have been violent, in fact. Look at Jez Turner, imprisoned for making a speech, Alison Chabloz, for singing satirical songs and posting cartoons; more recently, Sam Melia, for having published stickers the subject-matter of which was not even unlawful.

Remember “two-tier Keir” and thick-as-two-short-planks Angela Rayner being photographed literally “taking the knee” (bowing down before) the fraudulent “Black Lives Matter” nonsense?

Carol Vorderman thinks that Nigel Farage is a snake-oil salesman. Well, not much argument from me on that, but wait until La Vorderman discovers the truth about Starmer, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves etc…

Of course, the main reason that Farage recently distanced himself from the English protests, and especially their riotous offshoots, was because he does not want OFCOM to pressure GB News to cut off his work (and money).

Well, I certainly hear what tweeter Paul Embery is saying there, but look at the alternative— Kamala Harris, a hugely-ignorant non-white who will be but a figurehead while the “Deep State” around her, and really running the show, foments war with Russia, a war they think they can “win” but which —if it happens— will leave Europe, as well as North America and European Russia, in irradiated ruins.

The only question is whether Putin will simply utilize conventional military methods to push the Kiev-regime forces out of that part of the Kursk region which they have recently invaded, or whether he will do something entirely unexpected by the Western msm, such as use very powerful bombs and missiles (even tactical nuclear ones) to blast clear the whole of the occupied area. There is an outside chance that he might even launch a massive air bombardment on Kharkov or even Kiev.

Whatever the Russian response is, the Kiev-regime forces will be unable to hold the recently-invaded territory. Zelensky himself has admitted as much, though saying that Kiev “is not interested” in doing so. If that is so, why invade that territory in the first place? Clearly, as a public relations exercise to keep Western arms and money flowing in.

Meanwhile, in the Donbass region to the south, Russian forces are steadily advancing at present. About a mile per day. Not spectacular, but the Kiev-regime forces, short of —most of all— soldiers, will have no chance of regaining those areas, or of stopping the Russian advance, all the more so now that some of the better Ukrainian detachments have been re-deployed to assist with the Kursk incursion.

Life in remote Western Siberia

A simple and, in many respects, hard life. Not completely isolated, though. I see that they seem to have electricity (“Socialism means Soviet power plus the electrification of the whole country“— Lenin) , and that their milk comes from a carton rather than from their one cow.

The old lady is cooking (I think) manti [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manti_(food)] or pelmeni [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelmeni], foods quite similar inter se, and not dissimilar to ravioli. Cuisine is not really my forte, so I had better say no more. As for what she is frying, maybe cubes of bacon, maybe pork fat.

The old man is seen mending his fishing traps (there is a nearby small river).

Retired people in Russia now get a pension of about £200 a month. Not much (under Yeltsin, it was only about £25, and not always paid), but it must go quite far in a Siberian village. Milk, tea, bread, flour etc.

It occurs to me that, were the world to be hit by nuclear war, and depending on how severe that would be, people of that type might survive better than those who live, as most of us do, in Western (or Russian) cities, towns, suburbs, or partly-suburbanized countryside.

As someone once said of the Louisiana Cajuns living in and around the Mississippi Delta, “when the rest of the world is starving, these people will still be eating.”

Is comment even necessary?

This country is so screwed it is actually almost unbelievable. Not only because of migration invasion, but that, together with a “multicultural” population, is the cause of much of the overall problem.

Starmer-Labour will not “fix” the problems of the UK. Au contraire—Labour’s fake “landslide” regime will worsen them. Starmer-Labour is wedded to “diversity”, “anti-racism” (except against white English people) etc.

Starmer says that the event of 7 October 2023 was the worst attack on Israel since “the holocaust”. Israel did not exist as a state until 1948.

Egregious. Also, leaving aside the sheer injustice of it all, note the absence of proper journalism and sub-editing of that report. “Skelmersdale, Lincolnshire“, writes the Daily Mail scribbler, one Shannon McGuigan, when surely a “journalist” should know that Skelmersdale is in Lancashire…

Again, the Daily Mail report is really quite poorly-written, something which is now almost the norm in most newspapers.

Proper journalism is another thing that has just faded away and died in the UK.

The backlash from the people has grown, in the UK, in Ireland, and also across mainland Europe. In the UK, it drove the upsurge of voters for the actually rather mild Reform UK at the General Election of 2024 (over 4 million voters voted Reform UK. The Conservative Party only had about 6 million voters, and victorious Labour about 9 million).

The Conservative Party was dumped mainly because of both the invasion itself and also its down-the-line consequences, though sheer incompetence generally was also a major factor.

The “unwanted truth”. The Twitter-twits and similar people will close their ears. They want to believe that mass immigration has nothing at all to do with the housing crisis, or low pay, restricted State benefits, crowded schools, hospitals, trains etc, even water shortages.

For once, Sunak, the little Indian money-juggler, is telling the literal truth. Britain is a train about to hit the buffers at high speed. How much longer can a country absorb a million unwanted and mostly useless (at best) immigrants every single year? Forget the brainless Rwanda “plan”— that will only affect, at most, 1% of immigrants (about 10,000 a year), even if not cancelled by Starmer-Labour.

The big picture is that Britain has been condemned to decline by its own secret cabals and ruling circles. This did not start today, or yesterday, or last year; it has been in train for decades, and certainly since 1989. Those secret ruling circles are running down Europe, including the UK, and trying to build up China and the other Pacific Rim countries, and North America.

Time is running out for Sunak. People may not like or even trust Starmer and Labour, but Sunak and the misnamed “Conservatives” have used up all their credit with the public. To change metaphors, this government or, better, misgovernment is running on empty.

Here we are in mid-May 2024, and the latest a general election can be held is in January 2015, meaning that it has to be called by some date in December 2024, so 7 months at most.

Sunak is, at this point, not trying to “win” the next general election, just trying to mitigate the damage. If he is left with even, say, 150 MPs, rather than 100, or 50, or 30, he will be satisfied. The most recent polls have indicated a Conservative Party cadre in the Commons of as few as 13, incredibly.

The ruling cabals behind both main System parties are, for that reason, not too concerned which of those two parties, or facades, “wins” the 2024, or any other, General Election, because those hidden puppetmasters will ensure that the basic direction of travel stays the same in either case.

Look at how both Sunak and Starmer both fell over themselves to support Israel’s Gaza slaughter, in Starmer’s case even saying that it was OK for the Israeli Jews to cut off water and food to the Gazan civilians, most of whom were and are women and children.

Having said that, Natalie Elphicke is unarguably right about Sunak’s bad joke government. The very roads are like something out of the Ukraine now— potholed, rutted, unrepaired or, at best, poorly-patched.

I started to comment on the blog years ago about how, not overnight but over 10-15 or more years (even pre-dating “Conservative” governments post-2010) “nothing works in Britain these days”. The newspapers started to say the same a couple of years ago. Now, hardly anyone would argue about it.

It will be interesting to see whether Natalie Elphicke, if not adopted as Labour candidate for the Dover constituency, stands as Independent. It might be tight between Con and Lab anyway, but with Reform UK in the mix (and very likely to do well), and Natalie Elphicke potentially standing as Independent, it could be a very close contest indeed. She might even win.

Come to think of it, Natalie Elphicke might have done better to have defected to Reform UK, which would probably have made her its Dover candidate, and with a reasonable shot at winning in a three-way split.

London has large areas of unused roof space which could be turned into green space; not necessarily all open to the public, but still a haven for birds and a recreational resource for individual people, families, employee groups etc.

I had such ideas back in the mid/late 1970s, when I happened to see some of the views from the roof areas of tall buildings: a couple of the then-tall buildings of the City of London (now dwarfed by the new high buildings, of course), the British Gas building at Marble Arch etc; both during the daytime and at night.

Since those times, others with similar ideas but more resources have actually been able to make a few projects a reality. There remains huge scope.

I was unaware that Amsterdam is now 56% migrant. That figure does not even include all migrants who arrived over the past 50 years, or their offspring.

Very sad. When I first and briefly visited the Netherlands, aged maybe 8, in 1964 or 1965, there were no migrants, effectively.

When I returned alone, in 1975, aged 18, there were few. Later, on trips in the 1980s, Dutch friends of my family were complaining about the behaviour of the few (I think Turks, or possibly others from Turkey) who had somehow moved to their part of Amsterdam (a relatively-new suburb in or by North Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Noord): thefts of bicycles, littering etc— maybe “petty”, but already slowly changing their decent (and fairly new) neighbourhood into a declining and less pleasant one.

My last visit to the Netherlands, other than using Schiphol airport a number of times, was in the mid-1980s. More recently, I heard from Dutch friends how things had changed, and not for the better. Drugs, crime generally, an immigrant takeover in some parts of the city etc. This all co-incided with economic problems, housing shortages (mass immigration again), considerable job insecurity, and a general cultural decline.

Sad.

As with the Swedes, the Dutch made the mistake of allowing decent tolerance to become indecent licence, and of allowing a kind welcome for a few non-Europeans to become an open invitation for any and all, millions of them.

Britain made, and is still making, the same or similar mistakes, and is also indoctrinating its young people with the same pathetic and weak pseudo-ideology that is eroding white Europe from within.

Half of them cannot find their own country on a map of the world. I lived there. I know them as well as most Brits do. The 94% are easily manipulated by the American msm which is mostly owned, staffed, and influenced by “the usual suspects”.

In other words, opinion polling of the American people reveals, to an even greater extent than polling of British people, what the people have been spoonfed by the (((msm))).

Anyone’s guess, as far as the 2024 Westminster election is concerned (GE 2024), but my take is that tens of millions of British people are just sick of experiencing how nothing works any more in this country, from local right up to national level. They just want all this utter shite to stop. Labour will probably be unable to do much better, but what people want now, first of all, is to put the Conservative Party on a pyre, and then set light to it.

As to “how low” will the Con vote go at GE 2024, my view, formed over the past year or two, stands at present somewhere below 20%. The latest YouGov poll puts the Cons at about 18%.

My use of Electoral Calculus [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html] on those figures puts the Con MP cadre after GE 2024 at 31 MPs (Labour 519, LibDem 58). On that basis, the Conservative Party will not even be the official Opposition.

Even if those figures are wildly out, it looks as if 2024 may be the swansong for the Con Party as both “the natural party of government” and even as the natural main opposition party.

So the younger generation(s) prefer white bread? Very unhealthy.

The next time that the “CAA” “executives” Falter and Silverman give sworn testimony in a criminal or civil legal case, they should be robustly cross-examined about finances, including how much they themselves are being paid for their disgusting activities.

That chart shows very clearly just how disastrous, economically, the war with the German Reich was for Britain. Apart from all the other lies of Gideon Falter, if he claims that he was taking a stroll after having attended a synagogue, that must also be untrue. Other Jews have said that Falter was out and about long before what the Jews call “schul” would have ended.

Also, as a former long-term near-Central London resident, I am unaware of any synagogue in the area around where Falter was performing his political street-theatre nuisance (in Aldwych); and even if I am wrong on that, as far as I know Falter lives mainly in the St. John’s Wood neighbourhood of NW London (quite close to my one-time home in Little Venice, London W9). There is a large synagogue in St. John’s Wood Road, and another one in Lauderdale Road, Maida Vale. Both far from the Aldwych/Kingsway area of London; miles away. How would any stroll take him that way, even forgetting about the ex-MOSSAD security staff and the film crew?

Australia now is very different to the affluent and generally relaxed country I saw in the late 1960s. Controlled and tied down in so many ways, and far more stressed. Sydney itself has twice or more the population it had back then (then about 2M, now 5M+).

Another aspect that strikes (and puzzles) me is the almost caricature “Aussie” accent many now sport, including most of their politicians. That never used to be the case, not to that extent, as far as I can recall. There was a “strine”, yes, but it has become more accentuated, in fact almost become a joke, as one can hear from the woman in that clip.

Joanne Dodd launched her attack on Carl Cooper after he suggested she might be 43, when she was actually 39. So a woman who twice pushed a glass into the face of (what seems to have been) a complete stranger poses “no risk to the public“?

I suppose that it could be argued that the sentence is not unjust: the victim will (presumably) get that £800, and 180 hours of serf labour is pretty stiff, but the idea that such a defendant poses “no risk” is surely demonstrably untrue.

I suppose, also, that the only way to test the verdict of that judge is the method suggested by the judge to the jury in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury:

“she says that when in drink, he hits her and kicks her; well, gentlemen of the jury, let’s make him tipsy…and see!“

I think that the courts must start getting tough on violent crime, including violence committed in social settings such as pubs, and not infrequently by drunken women these days.

If that little twerp thinks that the millions of Ukrainians now living in Poland, Germany, and many other countries are going to return to the brutal, corrupt, and shambolic dictatorship of Zelensky and the regime in Kiev, let alone join its ebbing armed forces, he is living in a land of fantasy.

Either this summer or later, there will be a general advance by Russian forces, moving north and west across Eastern Ukraine; perhaps even an approach or “podstup” near to Kiev itself, which region is now heavily defended.

The Kiev-regime forces are now entirely on the defensive, without the ability, troops or other means to attempt an advance, still less any offensive, after the failure of the last and half-hearted one in 2023. All they can do is launch occasional missile attacks on Russian territory, with the aim of causing a certain amount of damage to refineries, train lines, bridges etc.

“Ukrainian failure will be “worse than Vietnam” for the West, Johnson predicts.

If Russia takes control of Kyiv, it will become a disaster for “American leadership on the world stage” that is much greater than the outcome of the Vietnam War. Boris Johnson is sounding the alarm.

He also said he was “praying” that congressional Republicans would end the roughly $60 billion blockade of funding to Ukraine, adding: “The situation is grim and the delay is appalling.”

The British politician also said that the chaotic flight from Afghanistan in 2021 is “nothing compared to a possible Russian victory in Ukraine.”

There are exciting possibilities opening up, potentially affecting not only the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, but also Central and Western Europe, including the UK.

The USA lost any right to claim the “moral high ground” post-Cold War when it engaged in torture and/or depraved humiliation of captives and/or the innocent at Guantanamo Bay, Bagram, Abu Ghraib etc.

Very few choose to join any of the armed forces now, because the services have no prestige, a poor career structure (certainly for “other ranks”), poor housing and, at the end, after 3, 5, 10, 22 or however many years, are just dumped into civilian life, in many cases without non-military skills, without accommodation, and without much money.

Another point is that some potential recruits are being forced to wait for months, even a year or more, before being approved by the rotten private contractor, Serco.

Back in 1975, I was told by someone in the Intelligence Corps of the British Army that some people were desperate to join immediately because they had no roof over their heads, and literally no money. The Corps would stretch a point, and allow them to come in even before the paperwork had been completed, and before any binding commitments had been made.

Such recruits would be given accommodation (at Templer Barracks, Ashford, Kent, now turned into a housing development like everything else in England), would eat in the NCO’s mess (there are no private soldiers in that Corps), and something would be found for them to do for a few days or a week while the necessary box-ticking was being done.

If accepted, they would join the next recruit squad; if not, they might go elsewhere in the Army or, at worst, leave having had a week of food and shelter; no harm done. Not now.

Apparently, the various military units at Ashford (the Intelligence Corps at Templer Barracks, and also the much larger ordinary Army base which surrounded the guarded Intelligence Corps centre) have long since been moved on, and the area, redeveloped as housing, is now known as Repton Park, though I have just seen that there is a small reserve Army military presence nearby even today.
