“Sadiq Khan is announcing plans to build on parts of London’s green belt, in a dramatic shift in housing policy aimed at tackling “the most profound housing crisis in the capital’s history”.
In a major speech on Friday, the mayor of London is expected to say the scale of the challenge, which could need about 1m new homes built in the next decade, requires a break from longstanding taboos.
It marks the first time city hall will support the strategic release of low-quality or inaccessible green belt land near transport links in order to provide hundreds of thousands of new affordable homes.”
[Guardian]
Very sad. Apart from that, when they talk about “low-quality or inaccessible land“, what “low-quality” means in this context is simply land on the edge of built-up areas, which may not always be very scenic (but could be, with political will to improve it). “Inaccessible land” is still better than the same land being built on, and its very inaccessibility provides a haven and sanctuary for animals, birds, insects etc.
This is what happens when a country is invaded by a million migrant-invaders per year (legal or illegal)— pressure on land, transport, public services etc increases, housing becomes unaffordable, and life becomes stressed and unpleasant. Look around. The evidence is all around you.

It was just a tree so he drove for 90 minutes in the middle of the night to cut it down 🤡 to drive 90 minutes back home. Plus 20-30 mins to walk to the tree from the car park.
Disgusting pair. I hope that the sentencing judge passes a suitably condign sentence. I hope that I do not read “Sycamore Gap vandals escape prison“. This was a horrible and destructive crime, an act of evil; there was also huge economic damage to the surrounding region (I have seen figures estimating damage of up to £1M).
Just a tree? So tie them to a tree for a few weeks, or months (in winter).
Like all "official" figures it will cost a lot more than £15 billion to house the invaders. It's almost impossible to calculate the figure. NHS, prisons, housing, just to begin.
Yet another opinion poll placing Reform UK in government, potentially. According to Electoral Calculus, a Commons with 314 Reform UK MPs, 168 Labour MPs, 63 LibDems, 39 Cons, 36 SNP (etc). Reform 12 short of an absolute majority, but on the cusp of a working one.

[“Let’s put emotions aside for a moment. The United States .. like any sovereign nation .. has every right to reclaim its independence, pursue its national interest, and break free from parasitic entanglements that have long drained its dignity and resources. What we are witnessing today may be the first real attempt in decades by parts of the American establishment to free themselves from the stranglehold of the Zionist lobby. But here’s the irony: the very idea that America might make decisions based on its own interests has sent Israeli officials into a frenzy. Why? Because for decades, they’ve treated the U.S. not as an ally, but as a tool .. a weaponized servant to carry out their ambitions, silence their critics, and whitewash their crimes. And now, as the leash begins to loosen, their panic grows louder. Let’s be clear: This isn’t a battle between good and evil. It’s a clash between Racial superiority and religious superiority One seeking global domination through lies, manipulation, and media .. driven illusions , Blackmailing , assassination The other aiming to reassert global control through , brute force, and economic imperialism We now stand at a crossroads for America: Either the United States, through Trump, succeeds in imposing a model of sovereign imperialism based on American supremacy… Or Israel unleashes its old playbook .. media manipulation, financial pressure, political chaos .. to manufacture another storm, just as it did when JFK tried to challenge their influence and paid for it with his life.“]

Interesting. Plaid is of course not truly “national” or “nationalist”, but more akin to the SNP in Scotland. Its basic premise, that Wales should be an independent state, is of course ludicrous, especially but not solely from the economic point of view.
Having said that, I can see why Welsh voters in Wales are going for Plaid (the apparent tautology is in fact not so, because a great number of voters in Wales are not Welsh, being either non-European —non-white— or English, mostly the latter; there are a few other small groups as well).
I think that Plaid is making hay because the main System parties, Lab and Con, are perceived as both hopeless and not “local” (to Wales). That was not always so (in relation to Labour) but I think it probably is so now.
As for Reform’s upsurge in Wales, it follows the rise in support for Reform in England and even in Scotland.
In Scotland, Reform is rising up, but another consequence of the drastic fall in support for both Con and Lab is that the SNP may survive, however unmeritedly, and may be able to increase its Westminster representation from its present 9 MPs (out of 57 Scottish seats) to something like 30; not quite the 56 out of 59 it had in 2015, nor even the 48 out of 59 it had in 2019, but still respectable, and a plurality of the 57 Scottish seats that now exist.
Put another way, people across the UK are binning Con and Lab, and I do not see that changing.
The YouGov poll is about the Senedd (Welsh Assembly) elections, not Westminster voting intentions, but must have relevance to the next general election.
Running that through Electoral Calculus (notionally putting LibDems at 15% and Greens at 10%): Reform 375 MPs; Labour 121; LibDems 62; SNP 38; Cons 25. A Reform government with a very large majority of 49 (working majority of about 59).
I keep seeing Labourite and Con Twitter-twits’ tweets saying “still 4 years to go“, as if the main System parties will somehow regain public trust before 2029. Are they serious?!
“The chair of the Criminal Cases Review Commission has rejected calls from the justice secretary to resign after a report on its handling of the Andrew Malkinson case laid bare “a catalogue of failures”.
The new justice secretary, Shabana Mahmood, said Pitcher was “unfit to fulfil her duties” and that she was seeking her removal in light of the findings. It is understood that she made her position clear to Pitcher on Thursday morning in the hope that she would resign.
But Pitcher said she was the “best person” for the job and that she had no intention of standing down.
James Burley, who led Appeal’s investigation into Malkinson’s case, said the report was “utterly damning” and detailed “a catalogue of failures by the CCRC”.
He said: “No one can doubt now that the CCRC is a broken safety net which sets the bar unreasonably high for innocent prisoners trying to clear their names. The CCRC must be completely overhauled.”
“Helen Pitcher OBE Chair of the Judicial Appointments Commission talked to Bhini Phagura from Raydens solicitors about her career.
Tell us about your career progression which led to your appointment as the Chair of the Judicial Appointments Commission:
“I studied law at QMC London and used this degree as a basis for a career in commerce, where I rapidly progressed up the ranks to become an Executive and Divisional Director in Grand Metropolitan. I retained a footprint in the law in various roles related to Standards, Fairness, Equity and Diversity.“
Well…wouldn’t you just know it?
There’s more:
“The first role I held in parallel to my Commercial career was as a lay representative of the Professional Conduct and Complaints Committee of the Bar Council.” [now split into the Bar Standards Board and the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal].
Yes, there is usually at least one useless woman of this sort sitting (well-paid, too), but doing nothing, when a Bar Disciplinary Tribunal sits. In 5-person tribunal cases (as mine was, in fact wrongly— it should have been a 3-person tribunal, which has no power to disbar) there are usually two such women (they always seem to be women, as on benches of lay magistrates), invariably a pair of unsmiling and stupid “bookends”. Useless box-tickers. See also https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.
“I also became a lay representative on the Employment Appeal Tribunal and still hold this office.
I then joined the Queens Counsel (as it was then) Selection Panel and rapidly became its chair. Whilst there we improved the Diversity Statistics.“
Again the “diversity statistics“… Why am I not at all surprised?
“I held this role for 9 years. On stepping down, I decided not to apply for another role as I also had a burgeoning Consultancy and Portfolio Career. About 18 months later, however, an advertisement for the role of the Chair of the CCRC (Criminal Cases Review Commission) was brought to my attention.
Last year the role of Chairman at the JAC (Judicial Appointments Commission) became available. A Headhunter contacted me having uncovered my background on LinkedIn. I checked with the MoJ that there was no conflict of interest and submitted my application. On December 31st following a Justice Select Committee earlier in the month, I was appointed and took up the post on January 16th [2023].”
My role as chair involves leading the Board, ensuring appropriate oversight on governance and providing appropriate challenge and support to the executive. I am also involved in some of the most senior appointments.
I have rationalised my portfolio (which was a Commitment I gave to the JSC) in order to ensure I have the appropriate amount of time to devote to this key role.
You are holding this role for 3 years from January 2023, what are your aims/goals?
The strategic aims were already set, however they are due for a refresh as the period they covered draws to a close. These aims, which are developed in conjunction with the Board and executive, are on our website and thus in the public domain.
Our primary purpose set out by statute is to recruit on merit, our secondary (and no less important role) is to assist the rest of the judicial system to increase the diversity pool. It is for this reason that I also chair the Judicial Diversity Forum, which has a clear action plan to achieve its aims.”
So the secondary role is as important as the primary one? How muddled and wrongheaded is the stupid woman?
[Legal Women (online-only) magazine]
The interview is rather badly written, unfortunately, with superfluous upper-case here and there; as can be seen, it is the product of an Indian woman.
Well, there we have it. That greedy and plainly incompetent Pitcher woman has made a whole career, and no doubt a very lucrative one, out of “diversity”, tokenism etc. First of all, in her own person, by being a “token woman”, or one token woman, on commercial and quango boards. Secondly, by being a Trojan horse for more “diversity” and “inclusion” (etc) in important public offices.
Helen Pitcher, who seems to me to be a useless “diversity” box-ticker, has, inter alia, sat in the seat of judgment over employment appeal cases, over the cases of supposedly defaulting barristers etc, and has even been (and apparently still is) the head of the body which appoints judges, including those at the highest level.
Helen Pitcher is, at time of writing, doing, and of course getting paid for doing, several different jobs simultaneously. She is probably making between half a million and a million pounds a year. For what? Ruining various bodies? Ticking various “diversity” and “anti-racism” boxes? Shoving our society further into the mire?
Look at how Helen Pitcher is clinging on to her CCRC role, presumably in order to maximize the money she gets before she is forced out. At least, that seems to me to be her motivation. Very telling, if so.
This latest scandal, including Helen Pitcher’s “march through the institutions”, is so typical of the way in which things generally have been allowed to develop in the UK in the past 30+ years.
You can see the way the UK is going, at least partly because of stupid and over-promoted women such as Helen Pitcher (and, yes, also men, not infrequently)— straight down.
God knows what state this country will be in in 2029 or 2034, let alone 2054 (which last I shall not have to witness, thank God, not from the Earth plane anyway).
Andrew Malkinson has called the former head of the miscarriage of justice watchdog “shameless” as she resigned from the job saying she had been “scapegoated for entirely legitimate decisions” taken over his case.
Helen Pitcher handed in her resignation as chair of the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) on Tuesday afternoon after learning that an independent panel had concluded by a majority of two to one that she was no longer fit to be chair.
In a letter to the justice secretary she said she felt that she had been chosen as a “scapegoat at an early stage” for the Malkinson case and that “a head had to roll and I was chosen for that role”.
Malkinson said: “Helen Pitcher’s attempt to portray herself as the victim here is shameless.
The Guardian revealed thatPitcher had been in Montenegro promoting her property business in the weeks after Malkinson’s conviction was overturned and the organisation was in crisis after its failure to apologise to him.“
[Guardian]].
“Her property business” (as well as all the rest)?
Helen Pitcher thus managed to blag another 6-7 months’ pay and expenses, and pension contributions, when she should have resigned in mid or early 2024.
“Shameless” indeed, the horrible and avaricious old hag.

“Summary of the Israeli strike according to what is known so far: – Approximately 25 F-15 and F-35 aircraft, accompanied by refueling planes, flew about 2000 kilometers toward the city of Hodeidah in Yemen.
– The strike was carried out in 8 waves.
-The attack destroyed fuel depots, inflicted damage on the port, and destroyed a power station north of the port.
– The fire is still burning and is expected to continue for several more days.
– There is a power outage across the entire region.
– The message of the strike is clear: this is not a strike on military targets (which has been done by the coalition over the past 9 months) but an attack on the already struggling Yemeni economy, causing significant economic damage.
– The attack on the port is a direct response to the damage Yemenis have caused to the port of Eilat.
– The message to the rest of the Middle East is also clear: the Bandar Abbas port and the Kharg Island, from where most of Iran’s oil is exported, are in Israel’s sights, as well as the port of Beirut.
– Israel has decided to take off the gloves; this is not a minor strike like those in Iran.
– The Houthis are threatening to retaliate, but it is unclear what the threat entails, as they have already attacked Israel 200 times.”

Middle East, Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Far East. All now under threat of major regional wars.
Even worse, those maniacs are actually considering Hillary Clinton. Direct war with Russia will then be a certainty.
There are too many egos at stake, and too many sunk costs. What this means is that the pro-Ukrainian true believers won't concede anything has collapsed until Kiev is under Russia's control.
“Ukraine lines are collapsing. After 380 billions of aid pledged to Ukraine since the war begin; 118 billion are direct military aid; many countries literally emptied out entire inventory countless military units to give their weapons to Ukraine. Ukraine is STILL losing grounds everyday. Lost 5 towns in the past 48hrs. The fortress city of Krasnohorivka is falling as we speak; Russia threatens cut the Oskil Frontlines in half with the likely capture of Pishchane. Still not collapsing? This is not collapse of frontlines, then what is?“
I'm no military man, but from a purely common sense perspective, assessing the saleability in terms of effective manpower Ukraine has left, disregarding poorly trained conscripts thrown uselessly into the meat grinder, then the rubber and road meeting indeed appears to draw near.
If anyone has something cheery to say let me know 😅😔. But honestly, it just feels like the baddies keep winning. I really don’t know where this is all heading.

I have not been to London since that brief visit in 2022, and am glad of it. I no longer have the Rolex watches I had 25+ years ago (or want them, or need them, or can afford them) but, if I did, I think that they would not stay on my wrist very long in the London of 2024.
Why can people who should know better not accept the truth that is in front of their eyes? In a word, deluded.
One aspect of London that seems to have radically improved in recent years, though, is the public transport network. New lines, new trains, new ways of travelling around the conurbation. Crossrail/Elizabeth Line for one. I do not speak, however, from personal experience of the new lines, just from what I have read online.
Universities are the Home Office basically, and their policy is open borders – often with taxpayer funds. https://t.co/AxJRdv9XFd
Well over 20 years ago, in 2000, I happened to meet and get to know (somewhat), in Bournemouth, a young blonde woman (20 or so) I first encountered in a photography shop, and who was very proud of her father, vice-Chancellor of (if I remember aright) Lancaster University. She talked about him rather a lot, and thus I learned that (again, if I remember aright) his salary was over £200,000 a year, which would be pretty good even today, by most people’s standards. In fact, the Bank of England online calculator shows that you could almost double that in today’s money. So today— maybe £400,000.

As announced yesterday, the magistrates’ court trial to which I was made subject went badly for me. I cannot blog about that at present.
I am presently due to be sentenced at the end of January, or in February, of 2024. After that, I have 15 working days, i.e. three weeks, in which to serve any Notice of Appeal. Any appeal hearing, before a Circuit Judge (sitting with two magistrate-assessors), would be a complete rehearing, which would probably not happen until the Autumn of 2024, perhaps not until 2025.
I shall decide in February 2024, post-sentencing, whether I shall appeal.
“SHOCKING CCTV footage shows the moment a teenage boy killed an 82-year-old Army veteran with a single punch.

The pensioner suffered a fractured skull as well as a bleed on the brain and died in hospital nine days after the assault on May 6, 2021.
Moumeche, now 18, was found guilty of manslaughter in July, with the judge sentencing the killer yob to two years in youth detention at Derby Crown Court today.
No further action was taken against two other teenage boys who were arrested at the time in connection with the attack.”

Life certainly is cheap in Britain’s wonderful new “diverse” multikulti paradise…
Imagine what this country will be like in another 30 or 50 years. I am actually glad that I shall not be here to see it.
Thus Britain, through the gradual acceptance of stupid “laws” and “rules” (invalid and/or misinterpreted) becomes a multikulti and “biosecurity” “poundland” police state.

The U.S. Constitution is a bad joke in most respects. Here is one example. The 8th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution forbids “cruel and unusual punishment“. Then look at what has been found to be not “cruel and unusual,” such as these ghastly lethal injection executions and, of course, the classic one, the electric chair, which can take several minutes and may fry someone alive, in effect.
The U.S. Constitution, looked upon by most Americans as if holy writ, when in fact it was just a document cobbled together by a bunch of freemasons (many of them), partly (it is said) in a New York City tavern.

“You carry in your blood the holy inheritance of your fathers and forefathers. You do not know those who have vanished in endless ranks into the darkness of the past. But they all live in you and walk in your blood upon the earth that consumed them in battle and toil and in which their bodies have long decayed.
Your blood is therefore something holy. In it your parents gave you not only a body, but your nature. To deny your blood is to deny yourself. No one can change it. But each decides to grow the good that one has inherited and suppress the bad. Each is also given will and courage.
You do not have only the right, but also the duty to pass your blood on to your children, for you are a member of the chain of generations that reaches from the past into eternity, and this link of the chain that you represent must do its part so that the chain is never broken.
But if your blood has traits that will make your children unhappy and burdens to the state, then you have the heroic duty to be the last. The blood is the carrier of life. You carry in it the secret of creation itself. Your blood is holy, for in it God’s will lives.”

Ludicrous, tokenist, monkey-on-a-stick and puppet for the Israel lobby.
See Lammy trying to answer a few not very difficult quiz questions:
If or when Labour forms the next UK government in 2024, that will be “our” Foreign Secretary…At least James Cleverly, useless and stupid as he is, is nonetheless somehow wise enough not to pretend that he knows anything or is anything much beyond useless. A lesson Lammy has never learned.
By comparison, the UK overall has an average population density of about 280 persons per square kilometre, the highest density being in London (about 5,500 per square kilometre).
Imagine about a quarter of the population of London (c.2M) being ordered, effectively on pain of death, and by an alien force, to move from one end of London to the opposite end. Hospitals full of immobile patients; infirm or sick people without road or other transport; babies and small children; companion animals too.
That is what the Jews of Israel, and egged on by most Jews outside Israel as well, are visiting upon the mostly helpless population of Gaza.
Not just Jewish bullies. Inhuman. Their behaviour is inhuman.
In the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, the Provisional IRA conducted a terror campaign in the UK from bases in Ireland, some of which were in the Republic. Some “mainstream” Irish TDs (MPs) of the post-1949 era, and even one or two Irish taoiseachs (Prime Ministers), such as Charles Haughey and Sean Lemass, were pro-IRA to a greater or lesser extent. The UK did not bomb Dublin or Dundalk, still less invade the Republic.

“Baroness” Warsi is and always was a waste of space, but at least she is not a complete puppet of the Israel/Jewish lobby in the UK. Sunak is. Starmer is.
That ridiculous creature Suella Braverman also is completely in the Zionist pocket. Married to a Jew, she now seems to be moving from a position (some time ago) of support for “free speech” to, now, one of saying that anyone criticizing Israel or Jewish behaviour, or supporting the people suffering in Gaza, will face prosecution.
I know that she was never much respected when she worked as an ordinary barrister, but this is moving to a police-state position on freedom of expression.
In fact, how long will it be before anyone in politics, law, the mass media, will have to pledge allegiance or fealty to the Jews and Israel, or face complete “cancellation” professionally? It has already gone some way towards that in the UK, USA, Australia, even France and Germany.
A —superficially— “velvet glove” type of finance-capitalist “Stalinism”, if you like.
When Suella Braverman made her speech about migration-invasion recently, I found some aspects of it with which I could agree, despite (of course) believing that persons only notionally British should not be Cabinet ministers, or indeed prime ministers.
However, any UK politician who curries favour with the Jewish lobby/Israel lobby is not one who deserves any respect at all.
Incidentally, she has now thrown the “Community Security Trust” or “CST” (the Jew-Zionist strongarm and snoop organization) another £3M of taxpayers’ money (they were given £14M just recently).
I read about that the same day as I found out that a hospice known to me, a wonderful peaceful place which I visited several times about 6 years ago, may have to close because it faces a financial shortfall of “only” £100,000. About 11% of its income comes from government funds.
£3M given to an organization controlled by ultra-wealthy Jews at a time when hospices (etc) are closing because Suella Braverman’s government will not supply more money (a small fraction of the monies given to the “CST”).
The priorities of UK politicians are rotten to the core.

What Jones fails to point out is that that British-imposed law probably had a penalty for breach of a small fine or a short prison sentence. I admit that I do not know exactly how much or how long. The Arab/Islamist penalty (I presume, and have seen news to that effect previously) is something like getting thrown off a building, or getting a bullet in the head.
When I was practising at the Bar in London during 1993-1996, I used to do quite a bit of Judicial Review work at the High Court. Most, though not all, was either immigration or housing-related. One such case was a Pakistani fighting deportation to Pakistan on the ground that he was a member of an Islamic sect considered heretical by the other Muslims.
I think, subject to correction, that there are about 70 different sects in Islam.
The said “heresy” was punishable (probably still is) by a maximum penalty of death. The original law prohibiting such belief and/or membership had been passed by the British rulers under the Raj, in the 19th Century.
The devil is in the detail. The original British law provided for a small fine by way of punishment. After Independence and Partition (1947), the law itself was kept exactly as it had been when first passed, but the penalties increased gradually from that original small fine to larger fines, terms of imprisonment, and finally (I think in about 1980 or so) to the death penalty.
The outcome of that case at the High Court in ~1994 is not relevant to my point but, as far as I can recall, the case was listed before a judge who said that he had made a study of the particular sect in question (God knows why). I suppose that he was well-placed to judge the matter fairly. I think that he remitted the case to be reviewed further by the Home Office in the end.

Perhaps the Israelis are planning to simply reduce the main populated parts of Gaza to rubble, like the Romans did to Carthage, so that no-one can live there for many years, perhaps hundreds of years. They might decide to poison the area with radioactive elements, for example. Very evil.
If what the Israelis are doing right now to the Gazan population is, as they and their Western mouthpieces claim, not a war crime, then there is something wrong with the definition of a war crime.

Once again, a “mug” imagining that “Jack Monroe” somehow “helps” the “vulnerable” by having 643 other mugs pay her between £3.50 and £44 a month into her personal bank account(s).
I've just blocked someone who replied to my photo of my bowl of porridge, who must deliberately target anyone who likes Jack Monroe. It took me ages to understand what was going on as I just don't think like that and my only solution was to block them. First time in 9 years here.

True up to a point. I spent time in Poland and (to a very limited extent) elsewhere in the East of Europe in 1988 and 1989. Unfortunately, many people in Eastern Europe and Russia, after 1989, found that they had just exchanged one big boss-tyrant (the socialist State) for lots of little bosses (finance-capitalists).
The idea that a sovereign state is like an ordinary person, and its finances like those of Mrs. Thatcher’s “housewife’s shopping basket” is absurd yet now ingrained in the public mind.

This is not so much a “criminal” problem as it is an existential demographic problem. Britain must become a white European country again, no matter what.
To suggest, as Carl Benjamin/”Sargon of Akkad” does, that the solution is something as trivial as corporal punishment (even assuming that the untermenschen are actually identified, charged, prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced) is a typical “Conservative-nationalist” or semi-nationalist “libertarian” non-solution.
Regeneration and transformation of land and landscape
Saw again this video, which I posted on the blog last year:
The lady at Bealtaine Cottage in Ireland was, sadly, persuaded by notorious Jew Twitter-troll Ben Gidley, under one of his aliases, to block me on Twitter, some years ago. No matter. I still think her work interesting. #MoralHighGround.
[Incidentally, the Jew Gidley is a lecturer at Birkbeck College in London. His admitted Twitter account is “@bengidley”, but he also runs “@bobfrombrockley” and, in the past, Twitter accounts closed down for trolling and online stalking: “@inthesoupagain” and “antinazisunited”. All accounts replete with Jew-Zionism, and mostly with a fake “socialist” tinge.
I am not the only person to have had problems with the Jew Gidley’s Twitter (and other) behaviour. The well-known journalist and columnist, Peter Hitchens, repeatedly exposed some of Gidley’s activities in his own tweets, though long after I had unmasked the little bastard. Others as well. I blazed the trail, though.
Other Jew trolls tried to defend Gidley by attacking me and others:
Before you double-down on this too hard, look through your new best friend Ian's timeline. His white supremacist stuff even *pinned*… 🙄 pic.twitter.com/tt5Cb1yK7k
As I tweeted some years ago (Jews conspired to have my Twitter account closed down in 2018), Gidley seems to spend most of his time tweeting, mostly via “sock accounts”, in the Jewish and Israeli interest, and most of that tweeting is negative trolling.
If, as seems, Birkbeck College is going to make a number of staff redundant, they could not do better than to start with Gidley, whose jargon-filled “academic” product is completely useless to society anyway].

As blogged previously, I find myself rather fascinated by “contrived” societies, societies which have in a sense invented themselves: the DDR, Singapore, Israel etc. It might be said that all societies “invent themselves“, but the phenomenon is more obvious in some as compared to others.

Saw this from Johnny Mercer, the MP for Plymouth Moor View:
Thanks to the Community Security Trust for bringing this to my attention, and doing your bit to look after brilliant Jewish colleagues like @RuthSmeeth
Think before you do things like this. We all have families – and for the record, colleagues get far worse. pic.twitter.com/xvrVgx2AN2
Mercer became a Member of Parliament on the back of his military career, with the obvious implication that he was, is, or considers himself to be, a British patriot or some such: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Mercer_(politician).
I was hoping, some years ago, that Mercer would prove to be an improvement on the all-too-often-seen MPs who put their duty behind their own financial or career benefit.
Unfortunately, as an MP, Mercer has been a big disappointment. First of all, it seems that he is, at least to a large extent, motivated by money. Criticism has been made of his making a considerable sum from commercial and/or “charitable” activities outside his work and position as an MP. His expenses have also been criticized.
Quite apart from the above, Mercer has had the “distinction” of having been sacked as a minister by the two previous Prime Ministers, first by Boris Johnson, and then by Liz Truss, the latter of which triggering a tweet by Mercer’s wife (employed by him on his Parliamentary expenses, incidentally), which tweet described Liz Truss (admittedly not unfairly) as “an imbecile“.
Presumably, Madame Mercer did not like the fact that Mercer (and so she too) thereby lost a ministerial salary of about £71,000 or so, per year (paid on top of MP salary and expenses).
Well, Mercer is now back in Government, as Minister of State for Veterans’ Affairs (the UK now using the American-style term “veteran” for someone who has served, however briefly, in the armed forces).
I daresay that few would call Mercer himself “brilliant“. Ruth Smeeth (now “Baroness” Anderson) has worked for BICOM, the overseas propaganda org supporting the Israeli state and government. She is, and/or has, also been involved with the malicious and basically Jewish “anti-fascist” org called “Hope not Hate”, and (I think) the even less pleasant “UAF” (“United Against Fascism”).
Ruth Smeeth is a member of Labour Friends of Israel, and was a major part of the anti-Corbyn campaign which, as noted previously in this blog, was effectively a Jewish campaign to remove Corbyn as Labour leader, a campaign crowned with success when Corbyn was replaced by Jewish lobby and/or Israel lobby puppet, Keir Starmer.
Ruth Smeeth is well-embedded in the System. Not only now elevated to a well-paid sinecure in the useless House of Lords boondoggle but also appointed, a while ago, as an “Honorary Captain” of the Royal Naval Reserve, an unusual —and, to me, puzzling— appointment.
In applauding the likes of Ruth Smeeth, Johnny Mercer’s stock, which has been falling in my estimation for a few years now, falls to the floor.
When Mercer was elected, I rather liked the idea that he was a bit of a “loose cannon”, as distinct from the usual yes-men in the Commons. I fear however, that he is, also, not much good, as his having been fired by two successive Prime Ministers would seem to indicate (albeit that “Boris”-idiot and Liz Truss were both also useless).
Support for Jew-Zionism and its creatures, however goes too far.
Mercer won his seat from Labour fairly narrowly in 2015, getting 37.6% of votes cast; the constituency was only created in 2010. In 2017, Mercer’s vote-share jumped to 51.9%. The 2019 election saw a further increase, to 60.7%. Driving factors may have been the LibDem collapse (16.9% in 2010, as low as 2% in 2017, and only 5.2% in 2019), the collapse and disappearance of UKIP (21.5% in 2015 but not even standing in Plymouth Moor View in 2019), and Labour’s decline (in 2019, 31.5%).
As to whether Mercer will retain his seat at the next general election, in 2023 or 2024, that is an open question, though it seems quite likely.
Correct. It’s because people like you insisted we institute a communist authoritarian regime for two years to deal with a non-existent crisis. https://t.co/19RkHJkHKA
“Prepping” in the European context, especially in relatively crowded spaces such as the UK, cannot be the same as in, say, North America.
The problem with the more fuzzy kind of thinking about prepping in Europe is that it leaves out the potential for chaos and disorder if (or when) centralized authority collapses or disappears.
Multiply that by about £20,000 per person (including NHS services, educational services, legal and police costs etc), a modest supposition, and the cost exceeds £32 billion per year…

“The number of white terrorism suspects being arrested in Britain has outstripped those of Asian appearance for the third year in a row.
Official figures show that 89 white people were arrested on suspicion of terror offences in 2020, compared with 63 Asian suspects, 15 black suspects and 18 of other ethnicities.“
“Almost one-third of arrests had resulted in a charge by the end of December.” [The Independent]
So only about 20 or 25 white British persons were charged (with something, but not necessarily “terrorism”-related offences).
We have seen, in recent months and years, many people, mainly young, arrested, some charged and (despite a number of acquittals) some sentenced to fairly long periods of imprisonment on the basis of evidence that would have shamed the Star Chamber, or some 1950s socialist satellite-state’s “people’s court”: Swastika-shaped cookie-cutters, Swastika designs on cushions, young men shooting their mouths off in pubs about killing MPs, young men buying Samurai swords (what century is this?!) for supposedly murderous purposes; young women naming their babies Adolf etc…[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Chamber].
What I see in the msm is mainly some contrived “cases” based on evidence much of which shows completely lawful activity (see above) which is then twisted into a “terrorism” narrative by police, MI5 perhaps, and the CPS.
Of course, now that political groups can be “banned” by System political decision, all that the police and CPS have to do is weave a web suggesting that X belongs, or has belonged, to Y or Z organization.
If someone decides to commit an offence, then that is their decision and they take the risk of the consequences, but much of what we have seen is quite obviously a manufactured “terror threat” tailor-made for the newspapers and TV to present as a reason to further repress free speech and free political activity by white British people.

Well, there’s a surprise! “Antifa” cheerleader Mike Stuchbery interested in the Tarot. Truly, as the Russian proverb has it, “the soul of another is a dark wood“! [чужая душа темный лес].
I was once, especially in the 1980s, very interested in different systems of divination: tarot, astrology, the I Ching etc. I settled on the I Ching as the one that worked best for me, though astrology can be accurate too; I don’t mean the rubbish found in newspaper columns; I used to cast my own charts using ephemeris tables etc (no computer programmes in those days, at least not for me). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephemeris; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Ching.
The one time head of the Secret Intelligence Service, Sir Maurice Oldfield, was very interested in occult methods or disciplines such as astrology (both Western and Chinese), and in a Chinese system called “Nine Star Ki” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9_Star_Ki].
Oldfield apparently used a mixture of methods as a way of assessing character. For example, he is said to have remarked upon the fact that, using both Western and Chinese astrology, Kim Philby was a “Capricornian Pig”: see https://www.amazon.co.uk/Biography-Sir-Maurice-Oldfield/dp/0356104001. [Caveat: not everyone regards Deacon as the most veracious writer on the subject(s) of espionage and intelligence, but his books are interesting and original; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_McCormick].
John le Carre [David Cornwell] had one of his characters call “Control” (the head of the Secret Service in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy), “a positive serpent“. Oldfield was certainly (one reads) a very complex character, probably one model for le Carre’s character, “Smiley”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurice_Oldfield;
In that Western/Chinese conflation, I would be a “Virgoan Monkey”! Western (sun in) Virgo, Chinese Monkey (Fire Monkey, 1956).

In wars of existential survival, the enemy have only won when the last round has been fired and, in our present world, when no European person is left standing.
Orwell writes here :'Every February since 1940 I have found myself thinking that this time Winter is going to be permanent.' Easy to see what he means, but the passage about the toad, and the precious jewel in his head, is wonderful. https://t.co/4ypAyL2BAa
I support no party @roymurley, as none shares my desires. I hope for the dissolution of the Tories, to make way for a genuinely conservative party. You may well be correct to say that I am unpleasant, but the real question is: 'am I right?' https://t.co/jKSi7cVW1i
Naturally, the designation, “Middle Britain”, or as more often seen, “Middle England”, is indefinite. It is harder to say what it includes than to say what it excludes: the very wealthy, what passes for “the aristocracy”, the vast mass of poorly-paid people, the unemployed etc. I suppose, the ethnic minorities too.
A more fruitful enquiry is to ask what kind of movement might capture at least a plurality of hearts and minds.
The present System has political parties which represent anything but “Middle England” (or most British people generally).
The Labour Party is now, in broad-brush terms, really just the party of the blacks and browns, and of the public service sector, particularly the NHS.
The Conservative Party is really the party of the uber-wealthy, both British and exotic, though for tactical reasons having to chuck crumbs to “Middle England” and the rest.
As for the LibDems, they are really a washed-up remnant now, representing nothing much beyond a protest having to do with anything from anti-Brexit to rubbish collection. I imagine that, were he still around, Jo Grimond would have his head in his hands! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Grimond (incidentally, his memoirs are well worth reading).
All System parties are pervaded by the Jewish-Zionist element; that is particularly true of the now-ruling Conservative Party. The present Cabinet is entirely composed of members of Conservative Friends of Israel. Several are actually Jewish or part-Jewish, and several of the rest are also non-European, mainly Indian.
Britain needs a new movement, partly though not only to be expressed through a political party.

Prepping
In the USA, with its vast areas of wilderness and other open land, “prepping” has become a popular topic over past decades: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivalism.
On the individual level, and in the UK, what can the individual do, as he or she contemplates the encroaching police state, the massive output of System propaganda (particularly around race-mixing and, now, the “panicdemic”) and other signs that an alien society is being prepared? We have no vast wilderness areas into which to go, unlike preppers in the USA, Canada and elsewhere.
The first thing is to cut as many ties to the System as possible. To cut all is impossible for most UK people, but one can reduce connection to a minimum.
To be an employee on a salary is not good. It puts you in the power of a employer and, in general, System power-hubs: tax authorities etc.
To be a member of a regulated profession, even if self-employed, is also not so good. You are tied-in to a Zionist-control scenario these days.
The best scenario, short of being fortunate enough to already have a sizeable capital (whether through one’s own activity, through inheritance, or via something such as a large Lottery win), is to be self-employed in such a manner as to be free of most System regulation (especially re. one’s views).
What if dependent on small State-provided or other income, such as a pension, or DWP benefits? No difference. Leave the major cities and towns. Relocate, and try to link with persons of similar mind and ideology.
The practical trades are, as Nick Griffin has opined, optimal for cutting System ties: car repair, self-employed building or repair, self-employed garden work, operation of a cafe or restaurant (“virus” restrictions permitting), hair-cutting, smallholding and farming. There are numerous other possibilities. You get the idea, anyway. Most such trades are also portable, able to move location easily enough.
If possible, move away from the large cities, which are doomed. UK people cannot, most of them, relocate to anything akin to “wilderness” or remote countryside, but can get away from places such as London.
Relocate to small towns and villages or, if you can afford it, to country houses, country estates, farms, or smallholdings, even if only a house with a few acres on which you can grow fruits, vegetables, and nut trees. Bealtaine Cottage (Ireland) and other similar experiments are very interesting: https://twitter.com/PermaGoddess; https://bealtainecottage.com/
It is possible to feed one person, on a vegetarian basis, on a fraction of an acre, though a more realistic acreage is about 1 acre or so. The less veggie-oriented, the more land is required, though chickens can produce about 1 egg every 2 days, and under existing DEFRA rules, persons in the country can keep 20 chickens without having to register with DEFRA.
Try to be off-grid re. electricity and other energy required: heat exchange technology, solar panels (one kind produces warm/hot water, the other produces electricity); if environmental factors etc are in favour, small wind turbines, and hydropower (micro or even pico); also, obviously, wood-burning stoves.
The Internet is key, while it exists. Another good idea, for communication linkage in any future disaster scenario, would be ham radio.
The American Mormons, I believe, try to stockpile up to 2 years’ supplies of basic items. A good idea. Some dried foods (eg white rice), if kept really dry, can be OK for 20 years. Canned goods are safe for years, even decades, though the quality in terms of taste etc may deteriorate after the Best Before date shown on the tin. At any rate, good for years.
Other items can also be stockpiled. We have just seen, in 2020, how quickly loo-paper, soap etc can disappear from sale.
The above need not mean bulk-buying. Just buy a few extra items every time you shop.
Other useful items? For me, the list would include such as candles, tea-lights; handcranked lights, torches [Am. flashlights], and radios; also, solar-powered outside lights. Garden/horticultural tools. Home-bottling and canning supplies. Seeds. Firelighters. Matches. Cigarette lighters (for lighting fires).Just a few of the possibilities.
For me, the aim of the above would not be, merely, for isolated individuals and families to survive, but for them to form a web of survival, the kernel of which might become a new society.

I agree with tweeter “@AnnaSvendsen4” as a general principle, though there are honourable exceptions (individuals) within the non-white populations, just as there are dishonourable exceptions within European humanity.
#Assange NEW: British judge rejects US request to extradite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to face espionage charges, saying it would be "oppressive" because of his mental state. https://t.co/ouw4jRUU43
Mexico's President AMLO announces that Mexico is offering political asylum to Julian Assange, citing not only Mexico's tradition of protecting people from political persecution but also its "responsibility" to do so. https://t.co/3SfM4rEBSi
To all those journalists who did not have the courage to speak up for Julian Assange when he was alone and threatened with life in a US dungeon – how does it feel to be out-libertied by an Old Bailey Judge? A pitiful performance (one of many) by our trade.
This is President Trump’s chance —while he still is President— to cut through the tangle by granting Assange pardon.
As to Hitchens’ comment about journalists, how true. There are few real journalists around, these days. The journalistic trade (and Hitchens is right to term it a trade, and not a “profession”, as often seen) has become just a politically-correct, virtue-signalling bunch of “me-too” serfs.
The Bar, despite being traditionally a profession, and not a mere trade, is no better now.
The same has been true in the Alison Chabloz case. Few if any “journalists” (or lawyers) stood up for her right to sing satirical songs.
[Alison Chabloz]
The old saying (Voltaire?) that “I hate what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it” is met, in today’s UK, with incomprehension, closely followed by hostility. Look at the (mostly) virtue-signalling (mostly) idiots on Twitter. Typical in that way.
Cultural Marxism
Pretty good, but fails to point out, explicitly, the Jewish roots of all that.

2021 so far much like 2020. Piers hysterically calling for the hardest lockdown possible after returning from his Christmas holiday in the Caribbean, interviewing a Socialist Workers Party supporting nurse who blames the pandemic on the Tories. Happy New Year!
In preparation for Brexit, the EU has built brand new Financial Centres. Just 4 days after BoJo's Brexit, guess what happened? pic.twitter.com/qO7DJ8glXA
I was —and remain— pro-Brexit, but as I predicted years ago would happen, Brexit has been criminally and indeed possibly deliberately mishandled, not least by Boris-idiot.
The third lockdown will see business premises closures increase to 550,000.
According to real estate adviser Altus Group, this figure includes:
