My brother went to this school in the 70s, me in the 80s. Awesome school. My son went through it late 2010s. Of the ~120 students in his grade he was the only white kid. 95% south Asian. The principal would be on SBS banging on about how much diversity there was in the school.
Not at all like the Sydney (Mosman and Cremorne) I recall from my years aged 10-13 (1967/1968/1969). The schools I attended (Middle Harbour P.S. and North Sydney Boys’ High) had no ethnic minorities (except one Aboriginal girl at Middle Harbour, sent there as part of a government programme).

I should be interested to know the composition of the jury. Yes. That is a very partial view. Fresh vegetables and fruits, when available, were unrationed. Some vegetables were abundant and actually had to be promoted by ads; potato, carrot etc. Fresh fish was unrationed (though in short supply), and bread was unrationed until after the war. Beer was unrationed, when available.
Naturally, the people who lived on country estates were best-placed to weather rationing. Game birds, and fish, were unrationed, and people living on a country estate would have ready access to eggs and other foodstuffs (and of course could grow fruits and vegetables in kitchen gardens or fields). Such people would also often have extensive wine cellars, so would have been able to drink French (and German!) wines bought before 1940.
I recall that the Cornish country house of which I had a lease (about 22 or so years ago) had quite large wine cellars (unstocked when I was there) which brought to mind the horror film adaptations of the works of Edgar Allan Poe:

Nuts, berries etc would also have been available.
The big shortage would have been butter (olive oil was all but unknown to most British people in the 1930s and 1940s and anyway unavailable). Sugar was another big shortage, of course.

I happened to be watching a recorded episode of Celebrity Chase quiz show. I only recognized two of the four “celebrities”, one of which was the unpleasant, and at one time more famous, Janet Street-Porter. I was just watching an episode, I think 5 years or so old, of The Chase. A question was asked re. which Prime Minister was “put into Room 101“, (the UK TV show) by Jeremy Clarkson. A choice of three, which the contestant answered, correctly, as having been David Cameron. The Chaser, “the Vixen”, Jenny Ryan, also answered correctly. However, presenter Bradley Walsh said, en passant, “I’d have gone Chamberlain”, and the “Vixen” said “I’m with you there“.
What they were really saying is that Chamberlain was rubbish because he tried to avert the disastrous war against the German Reich.
Neither Jenny Ryan nor Bradley Walsh are Jewish, but what they were doing there was making a kind of ritual minor obeisance to the Jewish lobby. To put it another way, they were signalling a kind of fealty.

If that came to pass, you could pretty much knock out the Conservative Party completely. It would never recover. Labour probably much the same, though less clearly so, because the Conservative bases have been eroding for a long time despite, maybe even because of, the 14 years of (incompetent) Con Party government. Labour is still well-embedded in the trade unions, public services, and the ethnic minority “communities”.
Looks as though many of the actual “socialists” or play-socialists, have abandoned Labour for the Greens, just as a certain number of former Con voters have abandoned the Cons for the LibDems, and others for Reform UK.
Incidentally, if my present feeling is right about the Con vote declining to as low as 10% by 2028/2029 (partly because many of the very old people who are the Con mainstay will not be living by then, and partly because many will go either Reform or LibDem), then the Conservative Party might be left with only 1 MP, Labour about 30, the SNP, Greens, and LibDems 30-40 each, and Reform as many as 459 MPs out of 650.

I have been interested to see that, during the last few days, the number of individual visitors has increased very markedly. Several hundred each day, from about 20 countries, but with the majority of both visitors and hits (some people look at more than one blog post) coming from the USA and, after the USA, the UK.
There have been a few times in the past when high hundreds, even over a thousand, visitors visited in a single day, but not very many, if truth be known. I’m easy (“one human soul is a big audience“).
