“Ireland has exploded into a wave of violence as anti-migrant anger is at an all time high – after the number of people applying to come into the country rocketed by nearly 300 per cent five years.
Once sleepy towns are now homes to hundreds of asylum seekers while tent cities have been set up along Dublin’s Grand Canal.
And with far-right sentiment at fever pitch the country is on a knife edge – with even Ireland’s left-wing politicians admitting that the influx of migrants was driving a spike in homelessness.
The government has previously spoken favourably about migration. Jamie Drummond, Co-Founder and Executive Director of NGO ONE and a friend of U2 star Bono, told the International Development Committee in 2015 that young immigrants were needed to help with Ireland’s ‘senile’ aging population.
“Just as this country and this continent will be at its most senile demographically speaking, Africa will be the world’s youth and the supply of the world’s energy, creativity and dynamism.”
[Daily Mail]
The final comment, apparently by a friend of grasping hypocrite “Bono” shows that he (Daily Mail says “she“, for some reason) has little of use to contribute: anyone who imagines that Africa can give white Europe “energy, creativity and dynamism” is either deluded or working to an agenda.
Very sad that Ireland has become so contaminated. I saw it in the 1970s, and again in the mid-1980s. From what I have seen on TV and newspapers, it has become busier and, in recent decades, more affluent in parts than when I was there but also, now, far less pleasant by reason of the migration invasion.
At least the Irish, unlike most of the English, are not going down without a fight.
You can see that process happening in the UK. In fact, it has been a factor for decades, but the huge migration-invasion since, arguably, 1989, is now completely destroying the “democratic rights” of the (real) British people.
Somewhere around 15%-20% of the UK population is now non-white; in England, the proportion is far higher, around 25%, and in the major cities such as London even higher, somewhere around 30% if not more. Some cities in the Midlands and North are already majority non-white.
Even in the UK as a whole, the average non-white presence in primary schools is now somewhere around 40%. As shown, that means that in cities such as London, the primary schools are already about 50% or more non-white.
[In 1951, there were effectively no non-whites in the UK; the few that did exist were in the major ports, including London (graphic from Wikipedia)]
Incidentally, you can see from that graphic what a lie are those TV dramas (eg, Grantchester) which show even small villages in the 1940s or 1950s with racially-mixed populations.
People of my age [b.1956] know the truth, but younger people, especially children, are being brainwashed via the TV, cinema, streaming services, and at school, to believe what amounts to a lying narrative.
By 2050, at latest, the UK population will be majority non-white. Yes, some non-whites will not support later waves of immigration; however, most will, and do.
If Britain does not have, by 2030 or so, a genuinely social-national government, or at very least a Reform UK-type conservative semi-nationalist one, you can forget the “Parliamentary road”.
Talking point
Fake Labour has no “plan”, except to allow profiteering bodge-housebuilders to make money destroying what is left of our countryside by building hutches for migrant-invaders and their offspring.
Now, the msm has awoken to what dissidents were saying on Twitter/X 6 months or more ago— there is no sufficient workforce to build said hutches.
You see the agenda, though, in that “i paper” bullet-point list: the UK “needs” more migrants to (supposedly) build more houses because…Britain has so many migrants (who are breeding). Brilliant…

“University lecturer James Wilson has been awarded £30,000 in damages against James Mendelsohn and Edward Cantor for defamatory material published about him during an argument about supposed antisemitism in the Labour party. University lecturer James Wilson has been awarded £30,000 in damages against James Mendelsohn and Edward Cantor for defamatory material published about him during an argument about supposed antisemitism in the Labour party. The false claim, that Mr Wilson was a ‘freak [who] takes pictures of kids’, put Mr Wilson and his partner in fear of physical danger, as well as seriously damaging his reputation. The judge had previously rejected an attempt by Mendelsohn and Cantor to quash the lawsuit.
The judgement lays bare that:
Mendelsohn and Cantor kept private information and recycled it to the late Dr Pete Newbon – a director of the anti-left group ‘Labour against Antisemitism’ (LAAS), so that he could use it to defame Wilson – the information was untrue and based a) on statements from someone the judge found to have lied about Wilson and b) on false claims about a university disciplinary investigation. Newbon was described by the judge as ‘bullying’
Mendelsohn and Cantor refused to apologise, mediate or settle, forcing the legal action to proceed to its conclusion
a key witness for the defendants said that she had been offered £5,000 by Mendelsohn and Cantor to testify for them (though the judge did not make a finding that her claim was true)
the defendants further abused and insulted Wilson in the course of their defence – despite, in the case of Cantor, being warned by the judge not to do so.
The defendants – who represented themselves in court apart from the use of a barrister to cross-examine Wilson – wheeled out a number of figures who are well known for their attacks on the left in an attempt to shore up their defence. The judge dismissed them.
University lecturer David Hirsh, a prominent, pro-Israel proponent of supposed ‘left antisemitism’, who wrote an unintentionally revealing elegy to Pete Newbon after his suicide. Hirsh was called to bolster the defendants’ claim that Wilson had shown ‘unwarrantedly aggressive and belligerent conduct’. The judge rejected Hirsh’s evidence that Wilson was ‘aggressive, unpredictable, persistent and irrational’ and found that Wilson’s communications with him over the spreading of a crowdfund for the defendants’ legal costs were ‘not unreasonable’
Nathan Comiskey, another advocate of ‘left antisemitism’, who claimed that Wilson contacting him about insulting remarks was ‘highly intrusive and upsetting’ and that he had felt ‘harassed and targeted’. The judge ruled that there was nothing unreasonable in Wilson’s communications and that Comiskey’s testimony did nothing to support the defendants’ claims about supposed unwarranted aggression or belligerence
Simon Myerson – a founding signatory of LAAS and supporter of Israel, and a part-time judge recently sanctioned for judicial misconduct for abusive social media posts. Myerson was also a vocal supporter of Newbon, trying to link Jewish author Michael Rosen to Newbon’s suicide, despite a coroner not mentioning Rosen at all in his inquest findings. Mendelsohn and Cantor put forward Wilson’s communications with Myerson, who had shared a post describing Wilson as ‘scum of the earth’, as evidence to support their claim of aggressive behaviour. The judge ruled that it did nothing of the sort
Joanne Bell and journalist Adam Cailler – more well-known anti-left activists whose correspondence with Wilson was put forward by the defence as supporting evidence. The judge ruled, “I can find nothing in the emails which is particularly aggressive or which points to conduct of the kind said to demonstrate the pleaded propensity [to aggression]”.

“The usual suspects”, or some of them. Most of the above have, in the past, tweeted about me.
The Jew barrister and now (if he is still allowed to sit) Recorder, Myerson, should be removed from any judicial or quasi-judicial positions. He was repeatedly vituperative about me on Twitter in the past, dozens of times. A pro-Israel fanatic, hypocrite, and liar; and that is only what is plain from his own tweets.
I was unaware that Myerson has already been sanctioned by the authorities for unethical conduct. Boot him out.
Most if not all of those mentioned above are also supporters of the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”], which was behind the recent (2023) prosecution of me, via the suborned police and “Clown” Prosecution Service, and under the notorious “bad law” of the Communications Act 2003, s.127 (recommended for repeal by the Law Commission).
Incidentally, I have just looked at Myerson’s Twitter/X account for the first time in many months. He has tweeted at least 20 times already today (though nothing about his above embarrassments), and it is only 1400 hrs. He must be busy…
[Update, 3 August 2024: Myerson was removed as a Recorder (p/t judge) in early July, though he was allowed to pretend that he had “resigned”].
Very diplomatic. Very “Christian”, really; almost too nice to the above tribe that set upon him like a pack of hyenas. Dr. Wilson is, after his victory, “turning the other cheek” in a way, but do not forget that other Biblical injunction— “do not give that which is holy to the dogs, lest they turn and rend you“.

Leading “activists” and/or supporters of the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” (“CAA) —one in particular— are also, or have been, serial online trolls, targeting mainly (but not solely) women, and with a sick glee. Some have now gone up the chimney or become actually/clinically insane, but others remain, making false accusations to police, regulatory bodies etc.
Simon Myerson is testing self-identifying Jews' Jewish identities now. Does anyone remember him being so strict with regard to Pete Newbon who wasn't Jewish? https://t.co/A5ToPhMH6Qhttps://t.co/ck3hduifMz
So Myerson tests whether any particular tweeter is a Jew? If anyone of a social-national viewpoint were to do that, Myerson and/or his friends would be straight down to the local police station to make a malicious complaint of either “racial harassment” or “grossly offensive” online posting.

The rate of increase of the world population, so marked in the 19th and 20th centuries, has slowed to an effective halt. The above graphic shows that the fall in fertility and births is not confined to Europe.
Only in Africa, and a few parts of Asia (notably, Pakistan), are populations much increasing via births.
In the UK, the large increase in population over the past half-century has been (especially in the past 30 years) almost entirely by reason of unwanted mass immigration, much of it from Pakistan and other “brown/black” countries, and births to immigrants. Migration invasion.

“Ukraine ignores US warnings to stop flights drones on Russian territory” The United States fears retaliatory strikes from Russia, but Kyiv is ignoring warnings from the United States to stop striking the Russian Federation, The Economist reports.
The US is concerned about rising oil prices, possible retaliatory strikes and an uncontrolled confrontation that could put Kyiv at a disadvantage. Serious concerns grew in late March when Russia caused major damage to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The attacks exposed gaps in air defense systems and vulnerability to the new Russian low-altitude cruise missile Kh-69, which destroyed the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant despite being within range of the Patriot air defense systems.”

At first I thought these lefty kids did not properly understand what the Chinese social credit system looks like – the truth is, they *want* the government to watch and control them. It's some kind of emotional disorder.
Very much in evidence during the “panicdemic”. Society split pretty much in half, and that split, though now half-forgotten, is still there, and will always now be there.
“Loony tunes”
Two brief experiences of the low-level craziness brought into being, or encouraged, by the virtue-signalling society in which we now exist:
Yesterday, on TV news, I think BBC, a story about the energy crisis in the UK. The reporter went into a cold, dark, unlit, unheated house to talk to a weird-looking middleaged woman sitting wrapped head to toes in a blanket. My first thought was “virtue-signalling loony” and (quelle surprise), what did the blanket-wrapped loon say, when asked about retail costs of heating and lighting? “I’m not worried about the money…it’s not about the money“… in other words, the crazed bitch was making a screwed-up point about “Ukraine”, and Russia, and “eco”-something-or-other.
In other words, that woman was not being forced into sitting in the cold and dark, but was doing it because she wanted to both feel “virtuous” and also to be seen on the BBC doing it. What a crazie! A form of contemporary self-flagellation, like “refugees welcome” idiocy (which she probably also supports).
2. This morning, I was just buying a few lottery tickets somewhere when a very fat young woman wearing a cloth facemask came up to the cash till and paid for a takeaway coffee.

She reports that when polling revealed Labour was likely to lose Hartlepool, Starmer stormed into a room saying: “Everyone hates us, everyone hates us, why do they hate us? Why won’t anyone tell me anything?”https://t.co/8KrLjK14pJ
Starmer, of course, is a barrister, and was in practice at one time at the criminal Bar, as well as later becoming both Queen’s Counsel and Director of Public Prosecutions.
In fact, “QC” is not quite the distinction it once was: 10% of the practising Bar now hold “letters patent” as QC. Still, let’s leave that aside.
I was always surprised at the naive mental attitude of many barristers in respect of the society in which they live and work. One often finds that barristers are not in step with the public. Often, also, the public view is the right one, and the barrister-view incorrect or too narrow.
For example, in the Tony Martin case 20+ years ago, barristers I knew were adamant that the defendant had to be guilty of murder because one of the “gypsies” (Irish tinker “travellers”) who attacked Martin’s farm (at night, miles from any help) had been shot in the back while fleeing. Legally, perhaps correct, or certainly arguable, but on appeal the judges at least recognized the realities, and reduced the conviction to manslaughter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Martin_(farmer).
The general public backed Martin to the hilt. So did I, a barrister (at the time), but then I was never a typical grey barrister-drone.
Take another case, the EU Referendum. No doubt many barristers were pro-Brexit, but (anecdotally) most favoured Remain. The public, particularly the white English public, favoured Brexit (perhaps by 60 to 40).
Look at the terminally hopeless Change UK “party”. Packed with pro-Remain members of the Bar. Electorally? Nowhere.
My point is that the Bar is totally out of touch with public sentiment. MPs are also out of touch. Both intersecting groups are insulated by groupthink —as well as money— from the realities of UK life.
Starmer’s reported outburst does not surprise me in the slightest. A wealthy ex-lawyer, married to a Jewish woman, completely tied-up with the Jewish/Israel lobby, and who apparently (I read) owns, with his Jewish wife, a number of buy-to-let properties. His world is also that of Islington/London. London Bubble. Westminster Bubble. Bar Bubble. Remote from the concerns of most people in the UK.

Planned insanity, so that, eventually, the bamboozled masses reach out for anything promising social order. It is already happening. Look at the opinion polls (rigged or no). Majorities for facemask nonsense (which is pointless), “vaccines” (which don’t work), even for forced “vaccination” and punishment for non-compliers (the very hallmark of a police state dystopia).
In fact, those refusing to say that “2+2=5” (or 55, or 555) are unwanted by the transnational conspiracy. That applies especially to Northern European (and derived from…) people.
The conspiracy wants a population, preferably mixed-race, that will listen to orders and obey, without ever questioning “the Science” or the propaganda, of the System, or the Government, and which will not ask “why has no-one died from or even become unwell with influenza for 18 months?“, or “if blacks are as intelligent and useful as whites, why does every country with a majority black population fall into poverty and savagery?“…and so on.
I have never and will never accept a Government policy that states "I must comply to ensure I have my freedom" In all my 81 yrs I have never been in a situation where I have despised a Government as much as I do now.
The little monkey even admits the conspiracy from his own mouth! Wants to build “a global surveillance network“…
Still say that that is “a conspiracy theory”?
The transnational conspiracy is racing ahead now, as we approach 2022, the next key year in the 33-year cycle. The last one, 1989, led to several world-changing trends: the fall of socialism, the fall of Arab/Muslim oil power, the destruction of any major military threat to Israel, etc.

Late comment
I happened to hear a very easy-going interview on BBC Radio 4 this evening. Nick Robinson interviewing expenses cheat, supporter of the Israel lobby —and otherwise sleazy— MP, Chris Bryant [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Bryant].
I came in a few minutes from the start, but it is clear that Robinson did not tax Bryant on any of his contentious “issues”, such as his cheating on his Parliamentary expenses, his “colourful” personal life, or (which is what really caught my attention) his considerable connection with the subversive and unpleasant Common Purpose network (for which Bryant was once a salaried manager) [see https://www.cpexposed.com/about-common-purpose]. See also https://wikileaks.org/wiki/Common_purpose.
As mentioned in yesterday’s blog post [https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/11/27/diary-blog-27-november-2021/], I heard and later saw parts of Nick Robinson’s interview with Keir Starmer. Now, because it has been recycled several times on BBC World TV, I have seen most of the rest of it.
Overall impression? What an incredible “cuck”, in the American vernacular, that man is! Actually, his manner reminds me of another weasel, now deceased: Cecil Parkinson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecil_Parkinson]. There is even a passing physical resemblance:
[Cecil Parkinson]
The above picture shows Parkinson when aged 75. When younger, he looked a good deal more like Starmer, in my opinion.
I doubt, however, that Starmer is a shit, in the personal realm, on anything like (if at all) the level that Parkinson was:
“Parkinson died from colorectal cancer at The London Clinic in Marylebone, London, on 22 January 2016.[14] He left nothing in his will for his daughter Flora:[15] in April 2017, it was reported that Sara Keays was preparing to sue Parkinson’s estate to continue to gain support for her daughter’s 24-hour care, for regular payments had ceased a few months after Parkinson died.[16]
Parkinson’s daughter, Mary, was found dead at her home in Wandsworth on 10 December 2017, aged 57. Police did not treat the death as suspicious,[17] and it was later reported that she had committed suicide.” [Wikipedia].
Apart from the (to my mind) physical similarity, Parkinson had something else in common with Starmer, who is (at an educated guess) a freemason. Parkinson was apparently an “active freemason” [Wikipedia]. It would be surprising if Starmer, a former Director of Public Prosecutions, were not a freemason, though I concede that I have no direct evidence that he is.
I ought to add that I once knew a woman who was seated alongside Parkinson at a State banquet, some time not long after the scandal with Sara Keays. That woman said that Parkinson was quite sympathetic in his manner. Maybe he went down better with women; I always thought that he deserved a good kick.
Reverting to that Nick Robinson interview, obviously Starmer is not a clown and pathetic waste of space in the “Boris” Johnson mode, but actually I can see why he has not really cut through to the public, despite Johnson’s incredible lack of ability and competence.
Starmer, like a good mid-range lawyer, makes the right noises: Channel migration invasion must be dealt with by “cross-border co-operation“, and the “upstream causes” dealt with, said he.
What does that mean? “Upstream causes“? So…wars and socio-economic problems in places such as Iraq, Kurdistan, Syria, Afghanistan, black Africa etc? How will Starmer “deal with”, or cure, those? Answer came there none, methinks.
The only thing that Starmer looked at all passionate about, or even interested in, was so-called “anti-Semitism”, with the focus on his Jewish wife and half-Jewish children. I saw no real interest in (or policy concerning) the huge poverty that does exist in the UK in places, made worse by continuing mass immigration. Housing problems, the same.
It may be that Starmer does take an interest in those social, and so political, problems, but if so he failed to actually convey any great interest. That is of importance in a supposedly “democratic” political leader.
Hitler talked about “dirty democratic politicians“. We are now in a contest between the sheer incompetence and corruption of the “Boris” regime, and the —if you like— “managerial semi-socialism” of a Keir Starmer Labour offering. No wonder the opinion polls show a stalemate at present.
Looking again at Parkinson’s Wikipedia entry, interesting to note that he achieved high office despite having come from unmoneyed, modest, and indeed humble, origins. Something increasingly rare in our own day.
Quite. The facemask and “vaccine” zealots display a pathology that is quite incredible at times, and which will of course be given full rein yet again, now that the Cabinet of clowns has ordered mask-wearing in shops, on trains etc from Tuesday.
As many have pointed out, masks in supermarkets but not in crowded pubs…The whole thing is just mad. All because (we are told) a “new variant” has appeared which may (or may not) be “as dangerous” as previous “variants”. Meaning those variants that killed 1 in 1,000 (if that) of the UK population. Madness but, on some level, planned madness.
I cannot believe that Farage retains even the slightest degree of credibility with anyone but, sadly, there probably are maybe rather dim Daily Mail readers, or Daily Express readers (if any still exist), who would still follow him.

I have only known personally two people who have knowingly contracted “the virus”. Two people! In nearly 2 years! Both in 2020. One was my late —nothing to do with “Covid”, incidentally— and then 98 y o mother-in law, who only knew she had “the virus” because she was routinely tested while in hospital for another, and completely different, problem. She had no symptoms, despite her age, infirmity, and existing medical conditions, and was discharged a few weeks later. Like so many others , she only contracted “Covid” because she was staying in one of the NHS’s shambolic hospitals.
The other person I know who has had “Covid-19” is my 20-something Australian niece, living in London, who was advised to take paracetamol, drink water, and rest! So much for the (unused) emergency “Nightingale” hospitals etc! She lost taste and smell for a week or so, had a few other symptoms, but soon made a full recovery without the need for any NHS medical assistance at all, unless you count the “take paracetamol and drink water” “advice” (given over the telephone).
Panicdemic…
All to do, really, with scaring the people to accept a biosecurity police state, so that “the Great Reset” can proceed from 2022-2055.
That ridiculous “Femi” creature was hoping to become a Labour MP, I think, and thousands of white, and even educated, Twitter twits seemed to give him credibility, about 2-4 years ago, but most people soon saw through his complete nonsense, so he remains living with his affluent parents, and pretends to be some kind of socio-political “influencer” on Twitter. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Femi_Oluwole. Note that Wikipedia calls him “British”…(apparently he was born in the UK).

Senior Conservatives reacted with fury when it emerged that Prof Priyamvada Gopal, a Left-wing Cambridge academic, who had made offensive remarks about Priti Patel, the Home Secretary, had been invited to deliver a lecture at the Home Office last month
Forget whatever that evil woman, Priyamvada Gopal, may have said about Israeli puppet Priti Patel; more to the point, the Gopal woman is an enemy of the British people, their history, race and culture. There are, in the real (not the strictly legal) sense, traitors riddling Whitehall.
Dan Snow
Just heard 25 mins of his history podcast. What a total “cuck” for the Zionist lobby… a silver-spoon “favoured nephew”…
I shall not bother with his stuff again.
Apropos of that, the woman interviewed was terribly excited about a British Intelligence bod of (mainly) the 1920s and 1930s. These people never see the wood for the trees. Yes, such spy bods were and are very active, but the big picture is that Britain could have joined with the German Reich to rule much of the world, but instead of that decided to declare war against the Reich. As a result, Britain (with its big friends USA/USSR) beat Germany into the ground, but also lost both its Empire and its world role, and set itself back economically for decades.
As for the rest of the world, the Second World War was disastrous. Famine, population upheavals, civil wars, premature decolonization, environmental degradation. The effects are still rippling out.
Now? Well, we hear much about the supposed “threat” from Russia —non-existent were it not for Russia being prodded constantly by NATO (NWO)—, and of course “terrorism” (including the actually or effectively non-existent “far right” sort) while the UK is actually being destroyed from within, daily, eaten away by treacherous termites, not to mention the connected migration-invasion, and births to non-whites.
The Augean Stables need to be cleansed: msm outlets, Parliament, academia, other areas too.
The big picture is what matters, not spy games by minor-public-school careerists.
The person lionized on the podcast apparently caused many thousands of Jews to be brought to the UK.
There should be the opposite of a decoration, that could be awarded to some individuals. A “rotten tomato” medal…
Ah…just looked up the interviewee on Wikipedia:
“During the 1990s, she was active on the international stage in the youth movement of The Council of Christians and Jews, and in promoting inter-faith relations. She has written over 20 books, with special expertise on the 10,000 German-speaking refugees who served in the British forces during the Second World War, especially the Royal Pioneer Corps.[1]
[“The banner must stand, even when the man falls”]
In these times of increasing State and Zionist-lobby repression, we in England must remember that, though people may be repressed, the idea of a better future cannot, ultimately, be repressed.
Haiku
A reader of this blog sent, via the Comments section, a link to, inter alia, a haiku [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku] he had written. I was thus “inspired” to write one for the first time in years. It is in the English haiku tradition, 17 syllables over 3 lines:
The empty words From the mouth of “Boris” Seem even emptier now
It's SNP conference this weekend so, as happens twice a year every year, the first minister will announce a new push for a referendum. It's a sham, though, a Potemkin plan designed only to fool the terminally gullible. https://t.co/IGtpcWMxex
As my blog’s regular readers will know, I usually steer clear of Scottish internal politics. I do not purport to know a great deal about Scottish politics, and have never even been there. Having said that, the SNP and its peculiar cranky little leader, Nicola Sturgeon, cannot be entirely ignored.
The SNP, which had almost no MPs until six years ago (it took about 40 years just to get one), took off in 2015, and is still in precarious power north of the border.
The SNP benefits from not being Conservative, Labour, or LibDem. Simply that. Scotland was once rock-solid Labour, but a few years of Blair’s pathetic, smug, and dishonest henchman, Jim Murphy (and general trends), put paid to that. Labour now has only one Westminster MP from Scotland.
As the Spectator article notes, only half of the Scottish electorate (in fact, at present, less than half— 47%) favour Independence, the number one policy of the SNP.
Surely Scotland could not and would not break away from the UK if only a tiny majority voted to leave the Union?
In reality, what if even , say, 57% favoured Independence? Would that really be enough to tear Scotland from England? It might be far more divisive in Scotland than the Leave result was in the UK overall in 2016.
The SNP has not done so well in its other areas of responsibility, a fact that might explain why it has only 64 seats out of 129 in the Scottish Parliament, a plurality but not a majority (the SNP governs with the 7 votes of the Green Party): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Parliament.
No radical conclusion from me. I do not see the present Con, Lab, or LibDem parties enthusing Scotland much in terms of Westminster elections, so it seems that the SNP will remain the only game in town, north of the notional, if not “national”, border.

Goodness me! Can this be right? Cloth face masks are 'comfort blankets' that do little to curb Covid spread, Sage adviser warns https://t.co/7j16kpIGqP
This whole nonsense of over-reaction to the virus must be ended! People who are completely or effectively OK are now being told to isolate, not to go out, not to go to work. Important functions such as control rooms for power generation and transport are ceasing to operate, all because of this pathetic testing and tracing regime.
At some point, the country must wake up from this whole delusion.
“Well, I now have to praise the BBC’s Nick Robinson for saying this on the Today programme on Wednesday: ‘The evidence is that the masks that most of us wear, the one I have got here in my pocket, a sort of cotton mask that you either make yourself or that you buy, gives you no protection at all, absolutely none.’ After ages of assuming that loose cloth masks are effective, this must be the first time a major BBC presenter has stated the experimental truth. Yet nobody seems to have noticed.” [Peter Hitchens, in the Mail on Sunday].
“Ultra-feminists despised the decent, honourable tasks of motherhood, claiming that the only road to fulfilment lay in wage-slavery outside the home. Any fool could have told them that paid employment is not the road to freedom, but they did not want to hear this. And nobody has yet devised a way of getting men to embrace the tasks wage-slave women no longer have time to do. So they don’t get done.” [Peter Hitchens, Mail on Sunday].

“Lots of idiots still admire Cuba, believing the propaganda of its nasty, despotic junta. I think this is because so many of the former student revolutionaries of the 1960s imagine themselves in beards and fatigues riding at the head of a triumphant revolutionary parade into the fallen citadels of conservative, Christian civilisation.
The truth about Cuba – that it is a miserable, rationed secret-police state that even has first-class money for the elite and second-class money for its ordinary people – has always been unwelcome.
So has the fact that this potentially wealthy country is run by drearymiddle-aged bureaucrats, fearful of their subjects, with brains of solid Marxist concrete, about as rebellious and romantic as a public lavatory. Yet the youthful, barricade-storming image must still be maintained. Its official radio station, a conduit of weary, censored propaganda, is called Rebel Radio.
But now a real rebellion against these self-styled rebels has broken out on the streets of Havana. It looks to me like a proper uprising from below, not orchestrated by anybody.
And the admirers of Castro’s squalid state – who still litter the BBC, the universities, the schools, the media and the Civil Service – don’t know what to do or say. For they do not want to admit that, like the man they long admired, they have themselves become an intolerant, inflexible ruling class.“[Peter Hitchens, Mail on Sunday]
Very true. I have argued all my life against idiots who thought that Marxist-Leninist or derivative regimes in the Soviet Union, Cuba, North Vietnam, Nicaragua, and now Venezuela were decent and worth supporting.
As far as Cuba is concerned, the sort of people who even now support it are (generalizing wildly) like the NHS doctor whose cottage near Totnes I was once (2001) thinking of renting. She could not show me the place because, I was told, she is “cycling in Cuba”. Cuba is revered by some because it trains vast numbers of health professionals, who are then ordered to work in other countries so that Cuba can get foreign exchange, or barter goods.
As for the British and other mugs who supported the Cuban-inspired Sandinistas in the 1980s, they are still around, those that never woke up (to reality, not “wokeness”), and now support Venezuela, “Black Lives Matter” etc. Nicaragua itself is now suffering under the ex-Sandinista rebel, Ortega, and is a complete mess, but the “woke” idiots have other idols these days.
“Che” would not necessarily now be on their side, had he escaped being given a couple of rounds in the head in Bolivia over 50 years ago:
Socialism of the old type has frozen Cuba in time, to an extent that even the Soviet Union was not. Occasionally one sees TV people doing travel shows about Cuba. I think that Michael Portillo did one mainly about Cuba’s shambolic trains; Chris Tarrant certainly did.
Cuba’s trains are apparently kept going by all sorts of weird and wonderful methods, rather like those “iconic” 1950s American cars that ferry tourists around Havana.
Havana itself is falling to pieces. Occasionally, buildings just collapse after decades of little or no maintenance.
To some extent, I can see why some British, other European, American, people “support” Cuba: it has stood its ground against its superpower neighbour, it has its own identity etc. Other people have felt that way about other small and embattled states: Rhodesia, Israel, Taiwan, even North Korea. However, that is a sentimental attachment (if any) better indulged from a distance.
Cuba is basically a shambles. Admittedly, I myself have only seen it directly from the air (overflying from Tampa, Florida, to Grand Cayman), and from the sea (between Cuba and Jamaica).
My only contact with Cuban bureaucracy was when some British and expat Iranian scientists asked me to help find a sponsor for their biofuel project (I called it, to myself, “making gold out of straw”). A couple of countries were interested. This was in or about 1995.
The Ukrainian Ambassador in London even accompanied me (in his rather nice chauffeur-driven Lexus limousine) to Porton Down research centre (Wiltshire) one day, to meet with the team at their labs. That led to nothing, but at least the Ukrainians were interested. The Cuban Ambassador did not even reply to my letter! That despite the fact that Cuba would have been ideal— a country in need of fuel, with a huge quantity of otherwise unusable biomass (sugar cane detritus), and with a large cadre of scientifically-trained labour. Useless. Well, there it is…

Robert Peston is Jewish (or possibly part-Jewish…I am uncertain), but not particularly, if at all, sectarian. He was not brought up to be sectarian, I believe I read somewhere. That kind of distinction was recognized, up to a point, in National Socialist Germany, under the “Nuremberg Laws”, where those who were Mischlingen, or part-Jew, were treated in law differently depending on whether they adhered to Jewish religious communities etc, or not: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuremberg_Laws#Classifications_under_the_laws.
As can be seen in those tweets and reports, the Jews in Israel use “lawfare” (“legal” warfare) to get what they want. When that fails on its own, they use illegal methods, pressure, corruption, and ultimately violence. In the end, it is little different in the UK, France, and other places where Jews exist in large numbers.

Yes. Much of the scare regime of the past 19+ months has been superficially “voluntary” (the idiots wearing facemasks while cycling in the country etc). There was some Jew, a few years ago, who ran a thing at Downing Street called the “Nudge Unit”, trying to pressure the public to do this or that without using law. Is that unit still around in some form?

Actually, @golbadock_dan it is a freedom, not a right. But it is one of the very few actual powers the people possess. Imagine if they held an election, and nobody came. A close-to-zero vote would deprive the current political class of legitimacy, and force major reform. https://t.co/oyPsMrP61Q
Peter Hitchens is sadly deluded here, though perhaps if only a tiny handful were to vote, it might present a moral challenge. That never happens. Not in major elections. Voting is usually pointless; abstention is always pointless. Something else might get rid of the present nuisances, but I think that, in the present climate, I prefer not to suggest it…
“Boris”
Surely it cannot be denied that his presentation and manner are closer to those of Jew comics than of English statesmen?
Eton and Oxford may put a gloss on someone such as “Boris”, but that gloss is a very thin veneer.
Looks as though, as in Ukraine, Georgia and elsewhere in the former Soviet Union in the fairly recent past, things are now hotting up in Belarus. Existing discontents are probably being used by the New World Order [NWO] conspiracy to bring Belarus (former Belorussia) into the NWO/NATO matrix.
Below, a “protester” runs down members of a riot squad (probably Belarus KGB-Alpha, a kind of spetsnaz unit) and drives away.
Whether you call the driver’s action “protesting”, “criminal” or “terrorism”, I should not like to be in his shoes. As the Cheka [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheka] said in the Russian Civil War, “the legs of the traitor are not as long as the arms of the Cheka”…
Belarus is effectively a dictatorship, but one which has some positive aspects.
Talking about the Slavonic world, I happened to see the film report below:
The village is in the western part of the Urals region. As for the lady herself, her name suggests a Tatar origin.
The village had, formerly, nothing but the tarmac road laid down in Soviet times; otherwise, nothing, not a school, shop, or even a well.
The presenter describes the place as a “village”, but in England we would call it a “hamlet”. I think that the distinction is that a “hamlet” is very small and/or has no church. The Russian language before the revolution had the same distinction: a “derevnye” [деревня] was a village (with church), whereas a “selo” [село] was a hamlet or tiny village usually without a church.
In Soviet times, with most local churches destroyed, left to become ruined, or used as barns etc, places were often designated simply as “settlements”. A “settlement” was (or is) a “poselenye” [поселение]. Another word found is “gorodok” [городок] though that really means “small town”, a town being a “gorod”, which can be anything from a place with maybe 1,000 inhabitants to somewhere as big as Moscow, with millions.
It does show the importance of the individual in human and social life: one person can make a huge difference, the crucial difference.
Migrant-invaders
As far as I know, I was the first person to use the term “migrant-invaders”. That was when I had a Twitter account (from 2010, effectively from 2011; the Jews had me expelled in 2018).
This morning, I was listening to a few minutes of the now-almost-irrelevant BBC Radio 4 Today Programme; pathetically-poor Liz Truss was being grilled by Nick Robinson about the hundreds of invaders now crossing the Channel daily. It seems that at least a handful (about 20) Conservative Party MPs have signed a letter quite correctly describing the migrants as “migrant-invaders“, and —needless to say— Today presenter Robinson took umbrage at the phrasing. Idiotic Truss would not endorse the language her colleagues have used.
Still, interesting. Who knows, maybe my blog is more influential than I myself sometimes imagine…
More from Minsk
Looks as though there is a head of steam building up behind the protests:
Saw the video below, made by the same American as the video posted above in this blog post. The real Russian people, some of them, are among the best people you will find anywhere in the world.
Telling to see the magnificent 19thC main building in one semi-desolate place. Sovietism and in particular the Collectivization of agriculture ruined so much in Russia, though as always one could point to some positive aspects, and in particular, electrification as well as, in some cases, road construction and (sometimes, near towns and cities) piped water. As Lenin said, “Socialism means Soviet power plus the electrification of the whole country.“
Now, population decline is ubiquitous in rural Russia, with villages and small towns left full of the elderly, the poor, drunks and those generally unable to migrate to larger places.
Rural and other collectives of social nationalists in various countries
Ah. Mentally-violent “antifa” cheerleader, grifter and self-described “historian”/”journalist”, Mike Stuchbery, now claims to “speak for most Britons“! He is an Australian now living in Stuttgart, someone who only lived in the UK for a few years.
I think I speak I speak for most Britons when I say, ' Get bent, you utter whazzocks! Stop threatening lives!'. https://t.co/QT89ugFgKy
Stuchbery, like so many self-described “Left” individuals, pro-EU partisans and multikulti enthusiasts, is also aggressively (from a distance) pro-facemasks or muzzles. It’s a pathology…
As always, Stuchbery is pro-violence, so long as he himself is not involved except as rear-echelon instigator.
Here’s another ignoramus, Paul Bernal, who is (incredibly) a lecturer in law, and who thinks that “free speech” is still free speech even when you get imprisoned (as under “holocaust” “denial” laws in France, Germany, Austria) or shot (as in Stalin’s Russia etc) for saying something unapproved. Here, in the tweet below, he calls the migration-invasion across the Channel a “story”. No…actually, it is an invasion. 50,000-100,000 a year; and that is only the number coming across in small boats. Others come hidden in yachts, fishing boats, car boots, trucks etc. Then there is “legally-permitted” immigration, which is about 99x the number coming across in rubber boats; and what about the number popping out of immigrant mothers resident in the UK? Pop! Pop! Pop!
Whatever else it is, the small boats story is *not* a ‘dead cat’. It’s far, far worse than that. Dead cats are *just* distractions. This does much more. It feeds the worst of the xenophobia, the racism, the militarism, the blame-shifting, the ignorance.
Here is Owen Jones, too. A full house of idiots today!
The oldest trick pulled by rulers wanting to distract from economic turmoil at home is to redirect anger at migrants and refugees. When the furlough scheme unwinds and unemployment soars, this will only escalate.
Jones ispartly-right: the state of the country is the fault of those exploiting the British people, not (mainly) the migrant-invaders. However, we the British people do not want them here anyway!
Absolutely telling that the Twitter outrage against the BBC and Sky filming illegal Channel immigrants isn't that they should have been doing this months ago
But that they're being "inhumane" towards the illegals
Many supermarket staff welcome those who claim exemptions, as they themselves are under pressure to wear muzzles, and customer resistance strengthens their position. https://t.co/ZESs1vynWf

Anyone who thinks that this is anything other than a giant international conspiracy must be rather naive, almost panglossian. Don’t forget that most of these “democratic” Western “national leaders” know each other rather well. Many studied together, went to Bilderberg [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberg_meeting] together etc…For example, Jacinda Ardern worked for the Labour Party in London! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacinda_Ardern#Early_life_and_education
Sturgeon needs no encouragement to use her power, we are presently in lockdown in Aberdeen despite no coronavirus deaths for 25 days and the hospitals sitting almost empty. She closed us down to divert attention away from her exam results chaos.

Will there now be demonstrations, marches, even riots in Australia, USA, UK, New Zealand? No, of course not! She’s white and probably has no serious criminal record…#WhiteLivesMatter…
Thank you @gorillabaz. While she's not blameless, the reaction appears on the face of it to be greatly excessive. This isn't what you would call policing by consent. What strikes me is the obvious sense of power which the Muzzle Decree has given to the police. https://t.co/7iqbV7jkIY

Yes. As I have blogged recently several times (echoed by Peter Hitchens and others), what is really crazy is that the sort of people who used to be rebellious, who prioritized “rights” and “civil liberties” and “freedoms” in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s (I mean those who think of themselves as “Left”, [“libertarian” or other] “socialists”, even “anarchists”) are now those who are begging, literally in some cases, to have stricter control by the State, stricter rules, harsher penalties for going out or not wearing a mask or muzzle. That mentally-disordered “antifa” nut, Stuchbery, is far from being the only one.
Look at Twitter. Virtually all those who identify, on or in the Twitter echo-chamber, as “anti-racist”, “FBPE”, “Remain”, “socialist”, pro-EU etc, the pro-Jewish lobby mob too, are fanatical in their support for facemask-wearing, “lockdown” and anything else that restricts the British people during the overblown Coronavirus “crisis”.
As for Australia, what has happened to them? I myself was there for 3 years as a child (in Sydney) and attended school there: Middle Harbour PS and North Sydney Boys’ High. 1967-69. The police were never even seen where I lived (admittedly a fairly affluent area, Mosman and Cremorne); I never noticed any police even at busy places where I might swim, such as Manly Beach and Balmoral Beach (the latter the nearest to my home), or even much in the city centre (they call that the “CBD” now).
Of course, Australia is now “diverse”: it has imported millions of non-Europeans since the 1970s, and its population is about double the 12 million who lived in Australia when I was at school there…
So your chance of dying from Coronavirus in the UK on any day at present is not much greater than the chance of hitting a major National Lottery prize…
This is exactly what about 90% of mask wearers are doing now. She called it out back in March https://t.co/yWcfS7JJwL
