Diary Blog, 7 August 2022, with thoughts about drought and water supply

Drought, and water supply

Where is the strategic direction from government? It is hard to think of a more basic function of government in the modern era than the supply of plentiful and clean water. Of all necessities, water supply is the most basic.

Measures that should be taken in the UK (southern England, really) include water-retention projects in upland areas, new dams and reservoirs, and construction of desalination plants for emergency use (Israel has some of the best technology for that; worth looking at).

Other measures would include those to minimize leaks. London may be losing a quarter of the water available and piped by reason of leaks.

Also, the UK population has increased by many millions in the past half-century. Stop importing unwanted people.

Cape Town nearly ran out of water 2015-2018, partly by reason of low rainfall, but also because (quelle surprise) African government has proven incapable of planning ahead: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Town_water_crisis.

Cape Town was saved partly by severe restrictions on use, but mainly because the rains started to arrive again from 2018. Los Angeles was in difficulties too over the past decade, but again was saved mainly by renewed rainfall.

In principle, I think that water, at least for domestic users, should be free or very inexpensive, but the reality is that there is a cost attached to the storage and supply of water (and also to the disposal of waste water). There is a debate to be had as to how to manage those costs.

In Ireland, until fairly recently, water was supplied free of charge to domestic users, and the cost covered out of taxation, mainly rates (taxation) on domestic and commercial property: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_supply_and_sanitation_in_the_Republic_of_Ireland#Tariffs.

Factors: abundant surface water, and a relatively small population, which until recent decades was mostly poor. Incidentally, it was not so long ago that most of the Irish population did not pay income tax.

I oppose meters for water, and I oppose the profiteering by the present privatized water companies in the UK. There should be a national water authority and, if water is to be charged for at all, a set amount —the same amount— paid for water (either per person or per household) over a determined period.

Water pressure can be reduced to save water in times of drought, though that is easier in some countries than in others. I recall a friend in New Jersey telling me in about 1991 that he had seen a special episode of This Old House [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Old_House] from London, which included the information that water pressure was 18 pounds per square inch.

My friend said that “to us, that’s a trickle!“. I think that water pressure in the NY/NJ region is nearer to 80 pounds per square inch, so 4x higher than in London, thinking back to that conversation.

Incidentally, water pressure in the UK is now expressed in “bars”, a metric measurement: see https://www.plumbnation.co.uk/blog/the-complete-guide-to-water-pressure/.

Large-scale users of water are commercial enterprises, including farms. These may have to be squeezed further on cost.

Mostly right, though not mentioning the huge —and possibly irreparable— damage done to the UK economy by the ridiculous “panicdemic” measures of 2020-2022, particularly the “lockdown” shutdown(s).

How low has the UK sunk, that it could even contemplate having a Indian as its Prime Minister?

This is the sort of thing, or one type of thing, that happens when you mix up capitalist enterprise (economic zone or sphere) with the zone or sphere of social rights, politics etc. In the Threefold Social Order proposed by Rudolf Steiner, those zones or spheres (and the spiritual/cultural/etc zone or sphere) should not be confused. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.

Bulb Energy was originally a mixture of economic enterprise and social do-gooding to do with “reducing emissions” and similar nonsense.

Other examples of “social entrepreneurship” have abounded in the Britain of the past 20 years. A swamp of fraud, chicanery and chaotic mismanagement. One of the worst types of the phenomenon has been the “social entrepreneur” company that presents itself as quasi-charitable but makes millions for its major shareholders out of public funds.

The maladministration and incompetence of Iain Dunce Duncan Smith at the DWP from 2010-2015 allowed dozens if not hundreds of such organizations to flourish. There were and maybe still are many examples, funded by not only the DWP but also other parts of government. I am not even sure that “Kids’ Company” was the worst: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_Company.

[Camila Batmanghelidjh, founder and Chief Executive of Kids’ Company]

Another one, the name of which escapes me for the moment, made millions for its controllers out of DWP funds; one of those ridiculous outsourcing companies finding “make-work” non-jobs for the unemployed and disabled.

The fat young woman who owned it with her husband (fortunately for them, their names also escape me right now) was on BBC Daily Politics and other TV shows between 2010-2015, talking about how good it all was. Only Andrew Neil was sharp enough to (obliquely) question the amount said woman was making (out of the taxpayers). She and her husband bought a large country house in Derbyshire before that particular house of cards collapsed. They made millions upon millions, were never prosecuted for what I consider an outright fraud, not to mention exploitation of desperate people, and still live in luxury today, I believe.

Diary Blog, 23 June 2022, with some more thoughts about “Boris”-idiot, the misnamed Conservatives, and Labour.

Morning music

On this day a year ago

The clown presently posing as Prime Minister of the UK

Pretty damning, though nothing I have not seen previously. In fact there exists far more information, and greatly more detail.

As I have blogged repeatedly since 2019 or 2018, Johnson has weaponized his own lack of integrity, decency and —yes— ability. People do not actually expect Boris-idiot to behave honestly, or even with basic decency, let alone to know how to be a real Prime Minister of this country.

That lack of expectation in respect of the clown “Boris”, on the part of the voters (and the very aged and blinkered Conservative Party “grass roots”), is like a suit of armour for Johnson; they actually do not expect the clown to fulfil his office and role properly.

Any further or worse scandal which may turn up will have little impact, for the reasons stated above.

There is another aspect: the sheer dullness and lack of edge to the Labour Party now, the supposed Opposition.

Under Corbyn, whatever his lack of education and/or ability, Labour offered an alternative in many respects. Not everyone wanted or liked the alternative offered, but it was offered. Now? No alternative.

Starmer is, as I said from the beginning of his tenure, as dull as ditchwater, but the Jewish lobby wanted to get rid of supposedly “anti-Semitic” Corbyn (who is certainly not anti-Semitic by my standards anyway), and have Corbyn replaced by “Labour Friends of Israel” member Starmer, with his Jewish wife and half-Jewish children.

Starmer is not, in my opinion, particularly “electable” anyway, but what (again, in my opinion) scuppers him, and Labour, is the same factor that weakened Corbyn, the fact that so many Labour MPs now are black, and often black women with little education, culture, or even sense. Not the only factor, but it is a big one.

Now we hear that Starmer may be replaced by another “Labour Friends of Israel” member, the expenses cheat, moneygrubber, “refugees welcome” hypocrite and would-be dictator, Yvette Cooper. Good grief…

Labour has been on a downward trajectory for a long time, well over a decade. The result can be seen in both General Election and by-election results over the past 5+ years. It will be interesting to see what happens in the two (or is it three?) upcoming by-elections.

For me, the most interesting aspect of the result at Chesham and Amersham last year was not the fact that the LibDems beat the Conservatives (striking though that was), but the fact that the Labour vote plummeted to 1.6%; a lost deposit for Labour, and for the first time in that constituency: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesham_and_Amersham_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

The System political landscape now seems to be resolving into a contest between unpopular and not-respected Labour, and not-popular and not-respected Conservative, with a side issue of former Conservative voters either (brainlessly) voting LibDem or abstaining; also, former Labour voters abstaining but not going elsewhere .

The British people, most of them, need and unconsciously want a form of social nationalism, but no organization exists to collect and channel that.

An interesting and adventurous life

Someone whose name was unknown to me until today. Almost along the lines of Where Eagles Dare.

” In 1944 he was appointed to the OSS and was an espionage agent in Austria in support of the Austrian Resistance against the Nazis, working with the Tyrolean group under the leadership of Dr. Karl Gruber. He infiltrated the country in the uniform of a German Wehrmacht sergeant of the Reichssicherheitshauptamt. In late April 1945, after being arrested by the Gestapo, imprisoned at Reichenau, tortured and sentenced to death, he was able to escape and assist in the liberation of Innsbruck by the Americans in May 1945.

[Wikipedia]

USA— which way?

It has seemed to me for some time that the USA cannot indefinitely continue on its present path without some form of muted civil war occurring. Not an American Civil War mark 2, with states opposed to each other, but a gradual and decentralized collapse of unity, and opposed groups and individuals fighting, including literally fighting, within states, within cities.

The outcome may eventually be victory for one or another side, leading to a form of dictatorship; at least equally likely, a gradual withdrawal of communities, cities, maybe whole states or regions, from common goals, institutions, political organizations etc.

The racial aspects, though not the only factors of importance, are key: at the end of the First World War, America was composed of 90% white Europeans (by origin); now about 45%.

Manchester United

I have little interest in football, and so rarely comment about it, but the “legalized fraud” at Manchester United has been incredible. An American Jew family took over the club years ago (as a purely moneymaking enterprise— they knew even less than me about the game) and have bled it dry, just as “Robert Maxwell” did at the Daily Mirror etc. Do I detect a pattern here?

Even leaving the Jew and legal quasi-fraud aspects aside, there is a systemic problem here.

In the Threefold Social Order concept, developed originally by Rudolf Steiner, something such as sport or games would come under the “spiritual/cultural/educational” sphere, not the sphere of “economy/business” etc, or that of “politics/rights/government” etc.

Taking football as an example of a rule applicable across the field of sports, football clubs should be (as they once were to a large extent) social-cultural associations run for the benefit of the supporters and, after that or consequent upon that, the players, not business enterprises; nor (as in pre-1989 socialist Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, and elsewhere) flag-bearers run by local or central government.

The Manchester United situation is not a consequence purely of Jewish economic exploitation but also, and arguably primarily, a symptom of a malaise and mis-organization in the way society as a whole operates.

I do not feel inclined to answer that…

Eventually, Russian forces will prevail in southeast Ukraine, and perhaps all of Eastern Ukraine (Ukraine east of the Dnieper).

Absolutely disgusting. Housing for “Ukrainian” “refugees” (often not Ukrainian, indeed often just disguised economic migrants using the situation as cover), housing for cross-Channel migrant-invaders, while British people without money are treated worse than dogs.

Take a look at that video. This is not “rescue”, it is a conspiracy to ferry migrant-invaders into this country. Tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of them. Google the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan if you do not already know about it.

Blair pushing for a nuclear war with Russia. He is the tool of powers of Evil (capital “E” evil).

The answer to the overall question is the Threefold Social Order: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.

Everyone, meaning every white European UK citizen, should have the means of basic personal support, meaning shelter, food, medical/dental help, education, local transport etc. That may mean or include Basic Income provided by the State.

I understand the misgivings of those who say that Basic Income gives the State too much power over the individual, the family etc but, especially for the poorer people of Britain, the petty office bods of the State already have that kind of power. Only the affluent and wealthy really have any significant measure of “freedom” in this society.

Alison Chabloz

As I write, persecuted satirist and singer-songwriter, Alison Chabloz, is about to be sentenced for a supposed offence under the notoriously-poor Communications Act 2003, s.127. The hearing will be at Westminster Magistrates’ Court at about 1400 hrs today.

Good luck to her.

A rather rude response to ludicrous “fully-automated luxury communism” advocate Ash Sarkar, but basically true nonetheless (and it did make me laugh).

Owen Jones took it upon himself, several years ago when I still had a Twitter account (i.e. before a pack of Jews contrived to have me expelled) to tweet to disgraced sex pest —and depressive— MP, the Jew-lobby puppet John Woodcock (now posing as “Lord Walney”) that he should block me. Woodcock complied at once, with no questions asked.

Owen Jones and Woodcock/Walney are both System fakes. See also https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/04/a-brief-word-about-owen-jones/; and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/02/09/diary-blog-9-february-2021-including-further-assessment-of-john-woodcock/; and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/05/04/john-woodcock-barrow-and-furness-and-the-general-election-2017/.

Even a stopped clock is right once or twice a day (depending on whether 24-hour or 12-hour). Same with Ash Sarkar and many others.

I have mentioned before on the blog that I knew someone who was able to buy the freehold of her semi-detached Victorian villa leasehold property in Little Venice (London), valued at the time (about 1980) at £100,000 (in fact she got a 33% discount, so bought it for about £67,000). When she finally sold it in 2005, that same house, in poor condition, was sold for £1.4M, if I recall aright. Somewhere around that figure, anyway. Exactly similar houses in the same street were valued at over £3.5M circa 2016, and I see today that a house in the same road, only a couple of doors down, is for sale at a lower price than that but still pretty damned expensive at £3,150,000.

90% of people who do not inherit real property or very significant other property are effectively locked out of the present UK system in terms of way of life etc. It is not even just a matter of not owning an appreciating property such as a house, but of having to pay rent to (objectively) parasites (rentier landlords), thus having less real disposable income for life. Also, insecurity of tenure.

Incidentally, I wonder whether the lower prices (as against a few years ago, pre-panicdemic), mean that plenty of house-owners in areas such as Little Venice are or have been cashing in their chips and, like rats leaving a sinking ship, departing from London? After all, £3M buys you a pretty nice country house almost anywhere in the Home Counties or shires.

Alison Chabloz: case update

It is reported that Alison Chabloz, persecuted satirist and singer-songwriter, has been sentenced to 22 weeks imprisonment by District Judge Nina Tempia, sitting at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

That means that, subject to any appeal, Alison Chabloz will have to spend the next 11 weeks in prison, unless released earlier on licence (and wearing an electronic tag). Eleven weeks from today is 30 June 2022.

Reports indicate that Alison’s trial Counsel, Adrian Davies, applied for bail pending appeal, but was refused. Such application can be renewed, with a good possibility of success, before a Crown Court judge in chambers, but I do not have any information at present as to whether Alison will in fact pursue appeal to the Crown Court.

The maximum sentence for the offence was 6 months, i.e. 26 weeks, so Alison may feel that an appeal is justified, particularly in view of the (reported but unconfirmed) fact that the Prosecution mooted 9-15 weeks (assuming, as I say, that that is correct) under the relevant sentencing guidelines.

If and when I discover Alison’s new prison number, I shall publish it (and her place and address of incarceration) on the blog, so that people can send her cards, books and (via the official system) small amounts of money. During her last “stretch”, she greatly appreciated postcards and other gifts: see https://alisonchabloz.com/2022/04/13/last-post/#more-8648.

Satire or sense, alas! can Sporus feel?
Who breaks a butterfly upon a wheel?
Yet let me flap this bug with gilded wings,
This painted child of dirt that stinks and stings;
Whose buzz the witty and the fair annoys,
Yet wit ne’er tastes, and beauty ne’er enjoys

Six hundred of the bastards! In a single day…

True (and crazy in a way) but at least they will not be in the UK, contaminating what is left of our racial root-stock.

Ha ha! Had not seen that previously. Like a civilian and “panicdemic” version of Dad’s Army.

Twitter, as I have noted before, is a very strange “business”, one that has lost literally billions since it started. In fact it has only posted profit results for 2018 and 2019; all other years since its foundation have been loss-making years, often stonkingly so:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/274563/annual-net-income-of-twitter/

Twitter and its finances are not at all transparent, despite the huge amounts written about Twitter. Look at the Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twitter. Lots of material but not very enlightening on finances, especially profit and loss.

A “conspiracy theory” might be to think that Twitter has some other, darker, purpose than to make money. Still, it could be true.

Diary Blog, 10 April 2022, with thoughts about autarky in Russia

More accurately, both NATO and the EU are distinct but connected components of the Western power matrix as it now is. The New World Order/Zionist Occupation Government [“NWO/ZOG”] matrix.

Ukraine situation

[Daily Mail map showing the state of play in the east/southeast of Ukraine as of 9 April 2022]

It seems that Russian forces have withdrawn not only from the Kiev area but from the area north of Kiev generally. Without taking Kiev, there is no real victory, no matter what else happens.

It seems now that the Russian strategic aims in the short term are to secure and hold the Donbass area, encircle and capture or destroy the Ukrainian forces there, then to push from the north (Kharkov area), the south, and the east, creating a line broadly Kharkov-Dnipro [former Dnepropetrovsk] and down to, or linking with, Russian forces already occupying the Sea of Azov littoral.

If the Russians can do all that, then (once Dnipro and Zaporozhye are taken or besieged) they will have about a fifth of Ukraine (half of Ukraine east of the Dnieper) under their control.

In other news, it seems that the UK is sending anti-ship missiles to Odessa. If Russian ships start to be sunk from Odessa, then it is not unlikely that the response will be swift and brutal. The city of Odessa may be completely destroyed by missiles and artillery if the Russian Black Sea Fleet comes under serious attack. Very sad from the historical and aesthetic point of view (and, of course, the humanitarian one).

It looks as though the Russians are degrading the Ukrainian fuel reserves and supply lines. Without fuel, the Kiev regime forces will become little more mobile than the armies of Napoleon and Wellington.

Ammunition continues to run out for the Ukrainian forces.

Despite msm reports etc, this still looks like a winnable military situation for Russia, in the short to medium term. I read today that (as predicted in this blog) Russia is now calling up recently-active reserves, i.e. former soldiers who are still reasonably “current”.

Politically, of course, and in terms of public relations, this Ukraine adventure has been disastrous for Russia, not because of the invasion as such, but because of how it was so badly planned and executed. Also, because of how unsuccessful it has been, overall. Pathetic, and terrible in all ways.

Autarky in Russia

I have blogged previously about how some leading 20thC thinkers saw the future of Russia: Rudolf Steiner and Valentin Tomberg in particular. About how Russia would eventually bring into being the next world age, the 6th Post-Atlantean Age, from about 3,500 AD: see, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Steiner; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentin_Tomberg; https://rudolfsteinerquotes.wordpress.com/2019/10/09/the-sixth-post-atlantean-epoch-of-culture-will-be-more-spiritual-3/; https://www.wellspringbookshop.co.uk/articles/the-war-of-all-against-all/.

I have often thought how Russia needs a degree of isolation in order for the seed of that future age not to be poisoned by whatever now exists in the world, centred on “the West”, meaning on North America, Britain, and then western and central continental Europe.

Ironically, it now appears that it is the West itself which is sending Russia into that isolation, via economic and cultural sanctions.

The idea of autarky (self-sufficiency)[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autarky] has found favour in Russia in recent decades, notably in the writings of Alexander Dugin [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandr_Dugin].

Russia is one of the few countries in the world which can, if necessary, do without the rest of the world, in economic terms. 72 times the size of the UK, and 2-3 times the size of the USA (depending on whether Alaska is included), Russia has the land, the climatic zones, the varied natural and human resources, to make autarky work.

Russia could create an entirely different form of human society. It tried and failed already, with Marxism-Leninism, but that was building houses of straw. On another basis, such an attempt can succeed.

Fracking and/or nuclear are unnecessary. Britain can get cheap gas from Russia if it stops being a poodle for the “USA” (in reality, NWO). I have blogged about that for years

That must be the most inventive excuse I have heard yet for why the almost deified NHS so often performs badly.

There should be a popular response to this conspiracy. Tweeting, blogging and, a fortiori, “voting” (in a rigged game) will not do it. Much as I should like to say what might be an appropriate response, the ever-increasing police-state repression effectively prevents me from being explicit, so my readers will have to read between the lines.

The State, i.e. the sphere of politics and rights, is a necessary part of the Threefold Social Order, together with the economic sphere and the religious/cultural sphere. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding:

Social threefolding aims to foster:

  • equality and democracy in political life,
  • freedom in cultural life (art, science, religion, education, the media), and
  • uncoerced cooperation in a freely contractual economic life.”

[Wikipedia].

The pendulum will swing back, once Boris-idiot is removed. The Ides of March are not far off, both literally and metaphorically. All that the Conservative Party has to do is find one MP who is not a complete deadhead…

In the final analysis, there need be no general election until late 2024. A lot can happen in 2 years or so.

Biden really ought to be living in a care setting of some kind, not posing as leader of what, long long ago, was often called “the free world”. Biden is very obviously a monkey on a stick, controlled by (((others))). Just like that clown in Kiev.

The huge amount of sexual abuse and general abuse of English girls by non-whites over several decades could have been reduced to a low level had those girls only been taught a little intelligent “racism” —and real history and geopolitics— instead of being infected with multikulti poison by guilty individuals and groups.

Talking about being infected by poison:

A disturbing story

Heard (admittedly at third-hand) a very disturbing story. It concerns a man who was driving home from or through Southampton. He apparently decided to stop the car for a while to take a few minutes’ rest. Why he stopped, I do not know; I myself never stop the car even on a cross-Europe journey (in the past; I never go anywhere now), let alone in the UK. In fact, sometimes I should stop and take a rest rather than drive on relentlessly into the night and snow (or whatever).

So this man (apparently in late fifties or early sixties) was sitting quietly in his parked car when, suddenly, several police cars appeared and boxed him in and, without warning, his door was yanked open and he himself pulled out despite his protesting that he had done nothing, and what had he done etc.

The police then proceeded to throw him roughly to the ground, treat him roughly, and handcuff him behind his back before he was bundled away to the police station. He and his car had already been searched for drugs, without result.

Later, he was released without charge, the police having tested him for drink and drugs (without result) and having explained that the area where he was arrested was known for drug-dealing! Why he particularly was targeted is unknown. Apparently, the man has bruises all over his body, which bruises were photographed. The matter is now in the hands of solicitors and, on the face of it, it looks as if the police are going to end up having to pay him out a goodly sum.

As I say, I have the above “facts” at third hand, via someone I know who was told by a great friend of the victim, that other person being a retired detective of the Metropolitan Police.

Britain is becoming very strange indeed. The police seem to scarcely enforce some laws, or merely record the fact that some crimes have taken place (and have been reported by victims), and often stand by when “protesters” such as “Insulate Britain”, or “Black Lives Matter” block motorways, create chaos in Central London, tear down statues, or vandalize artworks of which they disapprove.

At the same time, the police seem to go mad if the multikulti society is criticized, or if a Jew-Zionist makes even a plainly malicious and socio-politically motivated complaint to them. See, for example, the most recent of several such experiences I have had in the past decade: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/01/15/diary-blog-15-january-2022-including-an-outline-of-the-failure-of-the-latest-jew-zionist-attempt-to-prosecute-me/.

Also, the national scandal of sexual abuse of English girls by non-whites has only been properly investigated sometimes or, in places, often not investigated at all.

Another disturbing story

Listened to part of Radio 4 PM. As usual, a mistake. Some woman writer, whose name I did not catch, and who, despite being a self-flagellating pseudo-liberal multikulti zealot, has now been “cancelled” by her publisher, Picador (part of Pan Macmillan).

Apparently, despite bending over backwards to the multikulti, “Black Lives Matter” nonsense, she was not quite self-flagellating enough for the even more extreme anti-British, anti-white swine coming down the track.

What was so disgusting was her evident desire to bow down to the mob. She was almost in tears as she flagellated herself before what surely must now be the tiny Radio 4 PM audience. She all but said that, simply as a white “middle-class” woman, she deserved “just criticism”. Stalinism come of age in the decadent West…

Pathetic. That woman did not once say anything like “this is disgusting! I deserve freedom of expression, as do others“. No, it was all “I have lost my publisher, my work, my teaching job when I am not really racist…

Jesus Christ, this country is screwed!

Ah, found her name— Kate Clanchy, who is on Twitter as @KateClanchy1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kate_Clanchy.

The revolution always devours its own children. Soon, people like her will have to beg indulgence from the mob simply for being white. As she in fact now has already done, on radio, on Twitter, and elsewhere…

Looks like ignorant TV face Piers Morgan is finally (just) starting to wake up…

As for “lockdowns” supposedly “protecting the NHS”, the NHS staff have been protected (many are working from home, and not even at hospitals and medical centres) but the patients have in many cases been left to sink or swim…

The present Parliamentary system “needs scrapping“, too!

The irony is that changes to state power in various other countries in the past century were done because a party and a dictator wanted to institute a dictatorship in order to carry out a programme; in Germany, the Enabling Act 1933 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enabling_Act_of_1933]; in the Soviet Union, a number of decrees, conference resolutions and executive actions [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government_of_Vladimir_Lenin].

The present clownish government in the UK has no real, let alone radical or revolutionary programme to promulgate and execute. It is swept along by events. There may be an overarching “international conspiracy” “programme”, but that goes beyond this discussion and is being directed from secret sources. As far as the “Conservative” Party government led or headed by Boris Johnson is concerned, it really has no programme at all. Rudderless.

Boris-idiot resembles the jester or court fool of the mediaeval period, who is made “King for a Day”.

Who to blame? Obviously, firstly, Boris-idiot himself. It was his ambition to be “World King”, —Prime Minister is the nearest offered by the UK— that has led him to his present rank.

I blame also the Conservative Party MPs, who supported “Boris” as party leader, thinking that he would be popular with the voters. I blame, also, the 90,000+ (out of 140,000) Conservative Party members who wanted “Boris” to be their leader.

Most of all, I blame the uncritical mass media, the scribblers and talking heads of which have been promoting “Boris” openly for about 20 years.

What of the voters themselves? Yes, they, at least those that voted for Conservative Party candidates, are also to blame, but they were misled by the msm, which promoted “Boris”, and at the same time demonized Corbyn. The Jewish lobby was a large part of that.

Still think that you live in a “free and fair” “democracy”?

Here (above) we see Peter Hitchens offering a non-solution to the problem. Abstention, while it may send a vague message of sullen resistance to the System (eg if the voter turnout is 10% rather than the usual General Election figure of 60%+), achieves nothing beyond that. The same parties (in Hitler’s words, “the dirty democratic politicians”) will fight for that 10% just as they usually do for the present 65% or 70%), ignoring the non-voters.

Any similar graph showing world “Covid-19” statistics would be even more striking, because in the world as a whole a million have died, but of course that is out of eight thousand million! One death for every eight thousand people on the Earth.

Once again, above, Hitchens has no answer except to say “don’t vote” or “vote for someone/anyone else”! Parliamentary democracy as we have known it for the past couple of centuries just does not do its job any more.

Proportional representation would help, but on its own would not be enough. There must be movement towards the Threefold Social Order concept: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.

“Bloody Sunday”

Sometimes this country (as it now is) infuriates me, often it exasperates me. “Bloody Sunday” is one example. Whatever the rights and wrongs, the fact is that those events took place nearly 49 years ago. In earlier ages, Britain (Ireland maybe not) made history, good or bad, then moved on, to make new history. These days, everything drags on forever.

It is the same with the Hillsborough football stadium thing. Yes, very sad that people died in an incident probably avoidable, yes the behaviour of some of the police and Press was wrong, but it was 31 years ago. Enough!

Corbyn libel case

Jeremy Corbyn is being sued by a BBC journalist and maybe others (I have not kept up with the nonsense). I notice that Corbyn’s legal defence fund has now slowed almost to a halt, but not before it has reached (as of today) £332,803: https://uk.gofundme.com/f/47gyy-jeremy039s-legal-fund. That compares to about £318K a couple of months ago.

The mouse that roared

On my way back from, as the Americans say, running an errand, I decided to call in at a “Mole Country Store”, one of a medium-size chain of such outlets. I had only been there once or twice over the years.

They had instituted a silly “one-way” system, presumably in case someone is a plague-carrier. I went through the labyrinth without finding what I wanted, so approached one of the two cashiers, a woman in late middle age wearing a mask despite being behind a perspex screen.

I pulled my disposable facemask down to say “I am looking for…“, and that was as far as I got before the harridan barked (and that is the accurate term) “PUT YOUR FACEMASK ON PLEASE SIR!” (the “Sir” very much the kind of “Sir” sometimes tacked on by the police to some sarcastic remark, or by instructors of Army officer-cadets, as in “you will call me Sir and I shall call you Sir; the difference is that you will mean it.”…).

After a brief exchange in which it turned out that “Mole Country Store” did not have the product I wanted (I think that the old bitch was lying, in fact, in order to mess me around), I expostulated that “this is nonsense!“, as I stormed out, tearing off the mask.

There were only three customers anyway (it was much busier there a few years ago), so it may be that the place is living on borrowed time. I hope so, if that is how their serfs treat the customers. Anyway, they have just lost one customer.

I think that the sort of situation just described is one of the worst aspects of the Government-imposed nonsense of the past months. That woman is no longer a poorly-paid wage-slave in some rural store. Oh, no. She is now the guardian of publc health, who can bark at people to do this, do that etc. All sorts of nuisances, pains-in-the-whatever, and busybodies, have been emboldened and their existences somehow validated by the “lockdown”, “social distancing” and now facemask nonsense imposed by Boris-idiot and his Friends of Israel regime.

Is that woman’s face and expression that of the British police, or of what amounts to that of a merciless invader, alien and wishing harm to us? I hope not the latter, but am not very optimistic.

That last one’s a killer! “...and how black people have to work harder than white people“! Since when? Maybe on a Boer farm in 1930, thanks to a few blows with a sjambok! Otherwise not.

Some of the replies to the original tweet are so “English” that they should be put in a glass case and exhibited alongside a copy of a Miss Marple book and photographs of England when it was a civilized white country. “You should write to the school“, opines one naive lady; “complain, with other parents“, writes another no doubt well-meaning lady…

When are these people going to realize that we, the white Northern peoples of the world, are in an existential war with the racially and culturally inferior?! The (((ones))) behind it all are sitting in North London gated communities, in Manhattan townhouses, on megayachts etc, manipulating the stupid (“Black Lives Matter” activists, “antifa” dupes etc) to do their bidding.

Members of the teaching “profession” are often prime examples of the rank and file of the brainwashed foot-soldiers of this war against us.

Writing polite letters, complaining to school staff, or to (often packed with enemies of British and European culture) boards of school governors etc will not “do de bizniz”.

Look below! This is what you are up against!

Because freedom of expression is now so repressed in the UK, I am effectively barred from writing what I want to write about what should be done. My readers will just have to read between the lines, as has always been the case in unfree countries.

More naivety

George Monbiot, Guardian columnist, on the possibility of a “new democracy”: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/sep/16/extinction-rebellion-britain-democracy-protest-westminster

I like some of what Monbiot has to say about environmental matters, and even some of the cited article is not entirely misguided, but the taking of the cretinous “Extinction Rebellion” vandals as a positive example shows a very poor grasp on reality.

I have blogged about the Extinction Rebellion zealots already: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/08/16/the-extinction-rebellion-levellers/; https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/10/09/extinction-rebellion-greta-thunberg-cressida-dick-and-the-madness-of-protesting-crowds/; https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2020/09/08/diary-blog-8-september-2020-including-further-assessment-of-extinction-rebellion-as-well-as-of-tim-crosland-and-plan-b-etc/ ; https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/09/29/greta-thunberg-system-approved-wunderkind/.

If the present form of representative Parliamentary democracy is very unrepresentative, which it is, than how much less representative is the idea of “citizen’s assemblies” etc?

Extinction Rebellion has tried to get people elected once or twice (as Independents, because “XR” is not registered as a political party). Its “co-founder”, Roger Hallam, presently sitting in prison awaiting trial (unless out on bail) stood for election in the 2019 European Elections (for the London constituency). He achieved a vote of 0.04%, 924 votes out of nearly a quarter of a million votes cast.

History shows that “citizen’s assemblies” are always just brief episodes between one state imperium and another: Paris 1789, St. Petersburg and Moscow 1917, Berlin and Munich 1918 etc.

“Citizen’s assemblies” are either chaotic or have to be regularized, which makes them into rough and ready parliaments. As Stalin realized (maybe Trotsky too, thinking of Kronstadt), what then matters is who controls the secretariat behind the assembly…

Monbiot is right, though, in thinking that the present political and electoral system is broken. The UK needs not only a proportional form of voting, but (as mentioned in Monbiot’s article) something that ties taxation and spending closer to the people as a whole. Perhaps a proportion of government spending, whether 10% or 5% (or whatever) left to popular decision and meshed into the taxation system.

The Threefold Social Order concept has never been consciously tried, albeit that it is developing slowly anyway and has been since the Renaissance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.

Quite right. The proportion of white Northern Europeans in the world is declining fast. It is already a tiny fraction of what it was a century ago; yet white Northern Europeans are the only hope for positive future evolution of humanity.

I myself do not really know Coventry. I have only been there twice.

I first went to Coventry (to the famous rebuilt modern Cathedral) in 1964, perhaps, at the age of 7 or so. I recall the (literally?) “iconic” metal sculpture of Archangel Michael spearing the Devil (a false memory, I now see, because the Devil, though bound, is not actually speared).

Coventry Cathedral 2018.jpg

I also recall going into a snack bar (something my family hardly ever did) somewhere near that cathedral, and also visiting a large park which contained quite a few (I think) Indians talking in groups (there were then no Indians, Pakistanis —or blacks, for that matter— in Berkshire or Oxfordshire, at least I had never seen any, with the exception of an NHS consultant ENT doctor from the Caribbean who saw me a few times when aged about 6 or 7 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital).

I made a second visit to Coventry about 15 years ago. I stayed overnight in some Holiday Inn Express (I think). I did not see the better parts of Coventry (if any).

Musical interlude

How long before people really start to chafe?

Increasingly, nothing works in the UK, whether at central government level, local government level, or simply in the retail sphere, e.g. large companies such as Boots. The simplest things are either not done properly or not done at all.

I was just listening to the stupid woman Boris-idiot appointed to run the “Coronavirus” track-and-trace service (which is a total waste of time and money anyway, but let’s leave that aside). One Lady Dido Harding, who has apparently made a career of messing up one high-level job after another, but always getting another one by reason of connections.

Then we have Chris “Failing” Grayling, just appointed to a £100,000 a year job, which may not seem hugely overpaid (though it is several times what most people receive) until you realize that the salary will remunerate Grayling for “about 7 hours per week”. A day a week, and £100K a year… Nearly £300 per hour, or over £2,000 for a 7-hour week. On top of his MP salary (and expenses) and whatever else he is dragging down.

What does one expect of a country that has a useless c**t like Boris-idiot at its helm? I notice that even a deadhead like Toby Young has now woken up:

Yesterday, I blogged that Boris-idiot seemed crushed, in fact flattened, at PMQs. I do not entirely attribute that to Angela Rayner’s fairly brutal putdown. As I blogged, it seems to me that, for the first time, “Boris” has now himself woken up to the fact that his heart is not in the job of being a Prime Minister; perhaps also to the fact that he is useless at it.

Trump

Obviously, in a better world, a U.S. President unaware that his major NATO ally (the UK) is a nuclear power, or that Finland is an independent state, could not exist. Sadly, in a world where the least-equipped to be heads of government often are in such positions, this latest raft of Trump revelation is scarcely news.

We often assume, that is to say that many people often assume, that the wealthiest, or most powerful, or famous, individuals are in that position because they somehow merit it, or are more intelligent, skilled, educated than the average Joe. Often not so.

Back in the mid-1980s, I used to have a beer now and then with two brothers at the now-defunct Cafe Munchen (a London pub/cafe at St. Giles’ Circus, with marble tables and floors, and Bavarian beers on tap). One brother worked at Citibank. I asked him what Walter Wriston (then a major world financial figure and with whom that brother had worked) was like. He replied “just an ordinary boring American businessman”. [not a very nice person: “…in 1966, he married lawyer and businesswoman Kathryn Dineen. Together Walter and Kathryn attempted to exploit the financial circumstances of their neighbors in attempts to acquire properties for below market value.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Wriston].

The British Royal Family prove the above contention in trumps (no pun intended). Charles is supposed to be the intellectual of the family, because he can and does read a few books, and takes an interest in a few things that do not involve shooting, fishing, riding, racing (of various kinds) or hunting foxes.

One would have to be kinder than I probably am to describe the royal princes and princelings as anything other than uncultured idiots: Edward, Andrew, Anne, William, Harry. And that’s before I even start on the “Royal Mulatta”!

So now we have Trump, but before we British laugh too loud at him, we should look a little closer home, at the Boris-idiot government. “Boris” may be marginally more glossy than Trump, thanks to Eton and Oxford, but he is just as much of a bad joke as a head of government; and that is before one even looks at the rest of the Cabinet.

The economic tsunami gathering

Seems that Boris-idiot and the Cabinet of fools are starting to understand what a storm is coming, a storm their policies have caused, at least in large measure. They do not, however, have any clue what to do about that storm; they have no idea how to deal with the problem. “Boris” now talks about “tough times ahead” but is trying to make it appear that events, i.e. Coronavirus, have caused the tough times, rather than his own misgovernment, notably the unnecessary shutdown of the economy.

First thick tweet of the day comes from someone calling herself “Gina Antifa”/Saffiya Khan :

Note first the “cultural appropriation”, as a person of unspecified origin (Pakistani? Mixed?) living in the UK talks about “our hard fought for and much prized freedom of speech“, the freedom of speech generations of British people fought for. Secondly, she cannot distinguish between “free speech” and a mob howling in a hostile manner at a lone person in the street. Also, how is it “peaceful” for a mob to follow one person down a street, howling imprecations against him? The aim is intimidation.

Second thick tweet of the day comes via faux-revolutionary scribbler and money-scrabbler (a part-Jew), Owen Jones:

Cecil Rhodes was a “mass murderer”, says Jones. In fact, Rhodes was not a “mass murderer”. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecil_Rhodes. The hypocrisy is that Jones is himself favourably-disposed to several real mass murderers; not least, Lenin.

I blogged about Owen Jones quite a while ago: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/01/04/a-brief-word-about-owen-jones/

The irony is that the native peoples and animals of Africa would have been so much better off today had Rhodes achieved his goal of bringing that continent, or much of it, under British control “from Cairo to the Cape”. Of course, none of the “Black Lives Matter” idiots even think about any of that; for them, the “whites” simply “exploited” the “blacks” until the “blacks” were “liberated” after WW2. A cartoon view of 19th and 20th Century history.

Of course, the Rhodes statue is symbolic for the “protesters”. Their real target is not Rhodes but you and me as white British people.

Thinking about the above, though, it seems to me that not only the “antifa” idiots and the black mobs but also the “pro-statue” defenders have been sidetracked. The major battle is and will be over the society as a whole, not about the statues that adorn the squares and buildings. The artworks are ofsymbolic importance, though.

Vera Lynn

The death, at 103, of Vera Lynn, brings thoughts of WW2, of course, and of the sentimentality common to all sides in that terrible conflict. Vera Lynn herself was famous for several songs, but none more so than The White Cliffs of Dover, released in 1942:

Also, We’ll Meet Again

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We%27ll_Meet_Again

The Germans also had such songs, of which the best known, I suppose, is Lili Marlene, which in fact predated the war (1939), but only became popular (with both English and German soldiers) in 1941 and 1942, after it had been translated into English and then initially broadcast by German radio station Soldatensender Belgrad, the former Radio Belgrade.

I was interested to see, reading about it today on Wikipedia, that Lili Marlene was translated into English by renegade British officer Norman Baillie-Stewart (ne Wright), who was put on trial after the war ended, and was lucky to avoid either being hanged by the British or shot by Soviet forces: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lili_Marleen

Baillie-Stewart wrote an interesting memoir just before his death (in 1967, in Dublin), a copy of which I had in my (now-lost) library. Entitled The Officer in the Tower, the title refers to Baillie-Stewart’s pre-war trial on charges of espionage for Germany (he was convicted and served 5 years, being released in 1937). He was the last British subject to be a prisoner in the Tower on serious charges, other than those held there in transit (eg the Kray twins, when National Service abscondees in the 1950s): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Baillie-Stewart

The French had j’attendrai:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%27attendrai

Even the Soviet forces and civilians had their favourites. Perhaps the best-known was Katyusha https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyusha_(song)

Cranes, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhuravli , first performed in 1969 and here sung by the great and quite recently-deceased singer Khvovostovsky, was a latter-day nostalgia piece which is still popular today:

Facebook and Trump

I am scarcely pro-Trump, but things have become quite out of hand when a private-enterprise quasi-monopoly can simply censor the U.S. President! In fact, there must be some ways put into place to prevent such censorship happening to anyone, not just heads of state.

I have been blogging, tweeting (before the Jews had me expelled from there), and speaking (at the London Forum in 2017) about this issue, i.e. the privatization of public space, for several years.

The major spheres of society (1.economic, 2.political and rights, 3.spiritual inc. education, religion etc) have to work in concord, without (as in this case) the economic sphere controlling or attempting to control one or both of the others (in this case, attempting to exercise control over both the political area and that of rights (freedom of expression): see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding

Well! Sounds as though some of the Scots are finally waking up to migration-invasion…https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-53086488

Needless to say, the white demonstrators (formerly known as “Scottish”) in Glasgow have been “condemned” by stupid Sturgeon and by one Humza Yousaf (incredibly, he seems to be Justice Secretary of the devolved Scottish administration). In fact, I have just looked up, on Wikipedia, that one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humza_Yousaf

Offspring of immigrants, who was educated privately, in part, and who has never had a non-political job, or any profession. Good luck, Scotland, especially if you ever have (supposed) “Independence”, with government ministers of that sort. Couldn’t the SNP find a real Scotsman to be Justice Secretary? The SNP is little more than a fake; controlled opposition.

Oh, and here we have Sky News instigating more hatred of white English and Scottish people:

That’s right…give the blacks more “reason” to blame white English people for why most blacks don’t have country estates, swimming pools, stables and wealth, not to mention white women and fast cars.

It seems to me very irresponsible for Sky News to fan the flames in that way; there again, this is no accident…it is part of the propaganda around the Great Replacement, aka White Genocide.

By the way, have my readers noticed that there is now a TV advertizing campaign for police recruitment? Guess what kind of people the police want to hire? That’s right…there are more black than white faces in that ad. The Great Replacement in action…

Constitutional Coup?

The new emergency legislation being put forward has a life of, at present, 2 years, until 2022, despite the assertion by Boris-idiot that the Coronavirus crisis might last only for 3 months more, i.e. until June 2020. Already, local elections have been deferred for a year. It may be that NWO/ZOG dictatorship is planned, not only in the UK, but across Europe. I would not rule out civil or social war by 2022.

#StopHoarding

Twitter is doing what it does best, namely allowing people to tweet well-meaning and totally ineffective pleas. In this case, under hashtag #StopHoarding, to those who imagine that they need 500 loo rolls and a mountain of pasta and bottled water.

As I have blogged on previous days, there is (possibly reasonable) bulk-buying and there is (wholly unreasonable) panic-buying. Yesterday, at 1900 hrs, I visited the little village shop about 2 miles from me, and which I have noted in previous posts. It shuts at 1930. I bought almost the last loaf of bread, a bunch of bananas, some locally-produced asparagus and a few lottery tickets.

I wanted to see whether Waitrose in the nearest town was offering much, and mistakenly thought that it closed at 2100 on Thursday. Turned out that it closes at 2000 on Thursdays, so I arrived with only 10 minutes to get anything I wanted. That being so, I was unable to see whether shoppers had stripped the shelves bare again. I did notice that there was not a single egg left, not even the more expensive ones from rare breed chickens, with sky-blue shells. I myself bought only (again) almost the last loaf of bread and a reduced-price (99p reduced from £2-75) North African vegetable and cous-cous salad thing (which turned out to be quite tasty).

I think that this panic-buying can be halted by supermarkets only allowing one item or pack of anything per shopper. Inconvenient, yes, and some would then go to half a dozen places to evade the rule, but most would not and it would restore equilibrium.

Socialism, National Socialism, “National Communism” and Social Nationalism

“Socialism” has almost as many meanings as “democracy”. We still see people with pedestrian understanding writing or tweeting about how “socialism” is and can only be something akin to the Marxist-Leninist setup of the period before the great change(s) since 1989. Those people say that German “National Socialism” was not “real” socialism. Yet German National Socialism gave the German people a great deal more in every way, both economic and cultural, than did either Weimar Republic social democracy or post-1945 Soviet-style DDR (East German) socialism.

C6zkTIvU8AEqebq

Of course, socialism in the Soviet Union had various faces at various times, from Civil War times (1918-21) when militarization of the workforce was the norm (“War Communism”) to the New Economic Policy of the 1920s under which a controlled form of capitalism and private enterprise was permitted, to the harsh centralized system of Stalin in the 1930s and 1940s, a less severe version in the 1950s to 1980s, and then the fall of the various forms of socialism, all over the world, from 1989.

Hitler took a broad view of the term “socialism”, regarding it as meaning, broadly, “the common weal”. He was not hidebound by artificial or arbitrary “definitions” of what socialism means. For him, what mattered were results. So long as the German people were well-fed, housed, educated, organized etc, he was content.

For me, policy matters, as do results. Artificial theory matters less. I was, at one time, in the mid-1970s, accused of not being so much a National Socialist as a “National Communist”, in other words accused of over-valuing the role of the State. I demur. However, the State does have its rightful place (as seen in the Threefold Social Order concept: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding).

We in the UK have seen in the past decade what happens when the role of the State is cast aside or into the background. Now, with the Coronavirus crisis, we see that the State, in its weakened condition, is unable to properly fulfil its role of guardian of the people (“…for the welfare of the people is the highest law“— Cicero).

What is now required is what might be called “social nationalism”, not old-style State socialism but a system whereby the State, in its proper place, protects and serves the people and, as part of that, regulates but does not actually run economic enterprises and markets. “Nationalism”? All that that means is that the political organization is rooted in our basically “Aryan” European culture, history and way of life.

Government “recalls” retired NHS staff

So little Matt Hancock, clearly out of his depth, has been told to “recall” retired doctors and nurses. My thoughts:

  • the Government has no power to order such recall, only to request it;
  • retired NHS staff are almost all over 60, many over 70, and so are far more likely to fall victim to Coronavirus and to be seriously affected if they do contract it;
  • the above is obviously far more likely to happen in the often not very hygienic conditions of a UK NHS hospital.

A midnight ramble through Casablanca and beyond

[above: La Marseillaise trumps Der Wacht am Rhein in Casablanca]

Has Parliamentary “Democracy” (as we have known it until now) Had Its Day in the UK?

Preamble

The Brexit argument in the UK has brought to the fore divisions and truths which, until recently, had been covered up by a “politically correct” or bien-pensant “consensus” in the (largely Jew-Zionist-controlled or strongly influenced) mass media and political milieux.

Anyone who imagines that “Brexit” is just about the UK’s membership of the EU is indulging in hobby-politics and joke-politics and/or exhibiting very poor political judgment. I have blogged about this on previous occasions, eg:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2018/12/02/brexit-is-to-some-extent-only-a-metaphor-what-could-it-mean/

UKIP is the joke party and hobby-politics party of the UK, effectively a one-trick-pony, obsessed with the EU and EU immigration but not hitting hard on non-EU immigration and only peripherally touching on other issues. However, those voters who grasped at the UKIP straw up to 2015 were voting to a large extent not for Nigel Farage as Prime Minister, not for UKIP’s clown MEPs as UK ministers, not even simply to get Britain out of the increasingly sinister EU matrix, but as a protest and shout of anger against a whole host of issues, not all of which are connected directly to the UK membership of the EU.

What Is Democracy Anyway?

“Democracy” is one of those terms which is rather imprecise and commonly misused (another is “holocaust”, usually and deliberately misused and distorted by Jew-Zionists and others as “the Holocaust”, the definite article and the capital letter supposedly differentiating any misfortunes visited on Jews in the Second World War from similar misfortunes visited on non-Jews throughout history).

In ancient Greece (for example Athens, the home of the idea of “democracy”), we see that only the relative few had full political rights.  In the 4thC BC, Attica had about 300,000 inhabitants (in the state as a whole, not just the “urbanized” polis of Athens itself). Out of that population, only about 100,000 were citizens. Out of that 100,000, only 30,000, being adult male citizens who had completed military service or similarly accepted service, were allowed to vote or to participate in political life. Women, slaves, freed slaves, children and metics (foreigners resident in Attica) were not allowed to vote etc. In other words, out of 300,000 inhabitants, only about 30,000, 10% of the whole, played a significant political role.

UK Democracy: the expansion of the electorate

In more modern times and in England/UK, we see that, though a kind of representative Parliament existed from the 13thC AD, the electorate (using the term broadly) widened over the centuries. At the time of the first great Reform Act (1832), the population of England and Wales (excluding Scotland) was about 12 million, out of which only 200,000 in counties and perhaps 20,000 more in boroughs had voting rights (see Notes, below), about 2% of the whole population (nb. population estimates of that era are not very accurate: some estimates say 400,000 in toto, so perhaps 4% of all inhabitants could vote), a far smaller percentage than in Periclean Athens! In France, the percentage with voting rights was even smaller, but was expanded hugely when universal suffrage was introduced in 1848.

The percentage expansion of the electorate in Scotland in the 1830s was far greater than applied in England and Wales. Some historians use the term “revolutionary”. I wonder whether that has perhaps had a lasting effect on Scottish socio-political attitudes down the line, even to the present day. Just a stray thought…

Further expansion of the electorate in the UK (as a whole, not just England and Wales) in the 19thC meant that, by 1912, there were 7.7 million voters, a figure that increased to 21.4 million following the Representation of the People Act 1918, which extended the franchise to most women of 30+ years, as well as to almost all men of 21+. Of course, the actual population had also increased very greatly, from 27 million in 1850 to 42 million in 1918.

In 1928, women 21-29 also gained the vote, increasing the number eligible to vote to about 27 million.

Changes in the Post-1945 era: where are we now?

UK voting qualifications have not changed substantially since 1928, except that, since 1948, university graduates have no longer had two potential votes, and the minimum voting age is now (and since 1970) 18.

There are now about 65 million inhabitants in the UK (some put the figure higher, by reason of undocumented, unregistered “illegals” etc).

Does “democracy” mean that all inhabitants of the state must be enfranchised?

The South African Example

We have seen that, in ancient Athens, only male citizens who had completed military service could vote. In “apartheid” South Africa, there was a fully-functioning democracy limited however to those of European (white) origin.

There had, prior to 1910, been non-racial forms of limited democracy in Cape Province, limited by reference to property etc. From 1910-1961, the vote was granted to all white men in South Africa, to mixed-race men in Cape Province, and to black men in Cape Province and Natal. Only white men could become Senators or MPs. White women were allowed the vote in 1930 and could serve as MPs or Senators. Blacks and “coloureds” (mixed-race) were barred from holding those offices. In 1960, the black franchise was terminated; the mixed-race franchise followed in 1968. Later, in 1984, an attempt was made to re-enfranchise the mixed-race population and to enfranchise, on a limited basis, the Indian population.

In 1992, a small majority of (white-only) voters endorsed, by referendum, the end of the apartheid system, after which South Africa adopted a different system, under which all person of 18+ years can vote or be elected. In practice, however, this led to what is effectively a one-party, typically-African state, shambolic and corrupt. The African National Congress (ANC) operates what is effectively an elected dictatorship. In the most recent election (2014), its vote declined, but it still holds 249 out of 400 seats (on 62% of the popular vote).

Under this “new” (post-1994) “democracy”, the white population of the country is under siege from both crime (racially-based) and/or (connected) “political” attack, such as the robbery, rape and murder of whites, particularly in the rural areas. Neither are the (mainly black) poor of South Africa helped by the “elected dictatorship”. Indeed, in some respects they are worse off than they were under apartheid. The “infamous” pass laws may have restricted the blacks, but also restricted crime, which has become epidemic.

The USA

The USA is supposedly a “democracy”, but in practice any Presidential candidate has to be a multi-millionaire or billionaire, or have the support of such, simply to be seen as a credible candidate, or to be able to buy TV ads (this is about the same thing, in practice). If elected, he will find that to do anything effective requires that he be not opposed by either the Congress or the Supreme Court. This rarely happens. In most cases, the separation of powers prevents anything effective, let alone radical, being implemented.

The UK

c64bh5xw0aiwygy

In the UK, there is “democracy” (we think). Almost everyone can vote, almost everyone can be a candidate. Yet there are impediments: the powerful Jewish-Zionist lobby (special-interest group), the entrenched First Past The Post (FPTP) voting system, the need for finance, and the way in which boundaries are deliberately sliced up to provide a semblance of “fairness”, but in fact to favour 2-party or sometimes 3-party “stability” over real reflection of popular opinion. There is also the fact that “main party” (System) candidates are usually carefully selected to exclude anyone with even mild social-national views. The “choice” is then put before the electorate (together with the minor candidates who almost invariably have no chance at all).

Another important aspect is that, since the Tony Blair government passed its restrictive laws, political parties have to be registered, can be fined (eg for refusing membership to certain types of person, or certain racial or national groups), and can even be “de-registered”, thus barring them from standing candidates in elections. Democracy?

Here is an example from the General Election of 2015.

Brexit

The Brexit vote has exposed the sham or part-sham of British democracy. David Cameron-Levita thought that the 2016 Referendum would be easy to “manage”. He had, after all, “managed” two previous referenda: the Scottish Independence referendum and the AV-voting referendum. Third time, he miscalculated. The people, on the FPTP basis, voted about 52% to 48% for Leave. This was a shock to the System. Immediately, the Remain leaders started to demand “No Brexit”, and for a second Referendum, which would (once the voters had been exposed to enough fear propaganda) come to a different result, and/or for Parliament (most MPs being “Remain”) to just ignore the 2016 Referendum result which (they said) had been procured by fraud, lies, or post-KGB Russian trickery…

The fact is that, leaving aside the “sheeple”, the hard core of anti-Brexit Remain consists of

  • the affluent/wealthy metropolitan self-styled “elite”;
  • the big business people;
  • the Jews (most of them);
  • those who have done well financially in the 2010-2019 period;
  • the brainwashed under-30s, mostly from not-poor backgrounds, who imagine that not being in the EU somehow prevents them from getting (for most of them, non-existent) jobs in the EU, or that they will even not be allowed to travel after Brexit!
  • Those shallow little nobodies (again, mostly young or would-be young urban-dwellers) who think that it is old, unfashionable and “gammon” (white Northern European British) to support Leave or indeed to have any pride in England’s history, race and culture;
  • Almost all of those working in the msm.

These groups have become ever more severe and open in their hatred of Leave supporters. There are now open calls for the rights of, in particular, voters over the age of, perhaps, 60, to be restricted, for older people to be disenfranchised, especially if white, (real) British, or “racist” (i.e. people who see their land and culture being swamped and destroyed).

Here, for example, we see an almost archetypal Remain whiner, the broadcaster Jeremy Vine, 53, who is paid over £700,000 a year by the BBC and maybe as much as £100,000 p.a. from elsewhere (despite having been awarded only a mediocre 2:2 in English at university and then been –in my opinion– a markedly mediocre Press/radio/TV journalist).

Here’s another idiotic statement by Vine, though on an unrelated topic:

We see from examples around the world, eg South Africa, or Zimbabwe (etc) that one-man one-vote “democracy” can lead to elected dictatorship. In the UK, it has become increasingly clear that the Parliamentary democracy in place does not reflect the views of the bulk of the population, and certainly not the bulk of the white real British population, those with whose future I concern myself.

Leave may “only” have won the EU Referendum by 52%-48%, but there are nuances here: the assassination of pro-Remain MP Jo Cox, only a week before the referendum certainly had an effect, and is thought to have changed the outcome by as much as 10 points (at the time of her death, Leave was 10 points ahead of Remain in some polls); particularly as much was made of supposed secondary culpability of Leave propaganda for the attack. The referendum outcome might easily have been 60% or even 65% for Leave.

There is also the point that most “blacks and browns” and other ethnic minority voters (eg Jews) voted Remain if they voted at all. Most Scots voted Remain too (no doubt because they have a faux-nationalist SNP as a comfort blanket). Take away those Remain blocs and it might be that about 60% of white English and Welsh voters voted Leave, which might have been 70% without the Jo Cox matter.

Alternatives to Parliament Deciding Everything

I favour the Rudolf Steiner concept of the “Threefold Social Order”. As I paraphrase it, and in the contemporary UK context,

  • it means that an elected Parliament decides matters properly within the political sphere or “sphere of rights”;
  • it means that Parliament (and government) does not run the economy or economic enterprises (though it can regulate it and them); likewise, economic forces and personalities cannot rule the political sphere and/or “sphere of rights”;
  • it means that the State (or economic forces) cannot rule over the proper ambit of the sphere of spirit, culture, religion, medicine, education.

This obviously moves on from the conventional “Parliament rules supreme” idea, developed in the UK since the time of Cromwell.

We can see that Parliament in the UK is no longer fit for purpose. Those currently elected have only a limited mandate. Greater freedom and a more efficient as well as a more just society depend on proper integration of the three basic spheres: political, economic, spiritual/cultural.

There is no necessity for everyone to vote. Voting should be for citizens who are resident and who are of suitable age (I favour 21 years, at minimum). Foreigners, offspring of foreigners, persons who are mainly of non-European origin etc should not be allowed a vote.

Brexit and the future

People voted for Brexit for many reasons and fundamentally out of a lack of satisfaction with the existing way of life in the UK. That urge for something better may be the basis for social-national reform or even revolution. The British people will no more allow themselves to be treated as helots.

Update, 25 March 2021

Well, it seems that I spoke too soon in saying that the British people will no longer allow themselves to be treated like helots! The “panicdemic”, weaponized for the purpose, has (or the moment at least) put both the British people and “democracy” back in the box. Still, “the night is young”, I suppose. “Tomorrow is another day”…
