“Ukrainian failure will be โ€œworse than Vietnamโ€ for the West, Johnson predicts.

If Russia takes control of Kyiv, it will become a disaster for โ€œAmerican leadership on the world stageโ€ that is much greater than the outcome of the Vietnam War. Boris Johnson is sounding the alarm.

He also said he was “praying” that congressional Republicans would end the roughly $60 billion blockade of funding to Ukraine, adding: “The situation is grim and the delay is appalling.”

The British politician also said that the chaotic flight from Afghanistan in 2021 is โ€œnothing compared to a possible Russian victory in Ukraine.”

There are exciting possibilities opening up, potentially affecting not only the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, but also Central and Western Europe, including the UK.

The USA lost any right to claim the “moral high ground” post-Cold War when it engaged in torture and/or depraved humiliation of captives and/or the innocent at Guantanamo Bay, Bagram, Abu Ghraib etc.

As for the UK, the old term “America’s poodle” covers it well enough (or “Israel’s poodle“, as far as the Westminster monkeyhouse is concerned).

Very few choose to join any of the armed forces now, because the services have no prestige, a poor career structure (certainly for “other ranks”), poor housing and, at the end, after 3, 5, 10, 22 or however many years, are just dumped into civilian life, in many cases without non-military skills, without accommodation, and without much money.

Another point is that some potential recruits are being forced to wait for months, even a year or more, before being approved by the rotten private contractor, Serco.

Back in 1975, I was told by someone in the Intelligence Corps of the British Army that some people were desperate to join immediately because they had no roof over their heads, and literally no money. The Corps would stretch a point, and allow them to come in even before the paperwork had been completed, and before any binding commitments had been made.

Such recruits would be given accommodation (at Templer Barracks, Ashford, Kent, now turned into a housing development like everything else in England), would eat in the NCO’s mess (there are no private soldiers in that Corps), and something would be found for them to do for a few days or a week while the necessary box-ticking was being done.

If accepted, they would join the next recruit squad; if not, they might go elsewhere in the Army or, at worst, leave having had a week of food and shelter; no harm done. Not now.

Apparently, the various military units at Ashford (the Intelligence Corps at Templer Barracks, and also the much larger ordinary Army base which surrounded the guarded Intelligence Corps centre) have long since been moved on, and the area, redeveloped as housing, is now known as Repton Park, though I have just seen that there is a small reserve Army military presence nearby even today.

This story might seem quite normal to the owner of the fancy restaurant, but very unfair to the egg seller. The question it raises is; Why do we always need to show that we have power when we buy from the needy? And why are we generous to those who don’t even need our generosity?

We once read somewhere that a father used to buy goods from poor people at a high price, even though he didn’t need the things. Sometimes he paid more for them. His children were amazed. One day they asked him “why are you doing this dad?” The father replied: “It’s charity wrapped in dignity.โ€

I know that most of you will not share this message, but if you are one of the people who have taken the time to read this far… Then this message of attempted “humanisation” will have gone one step further in the right direction.“

The UK needs, and the British people want, no immigration of any sort at all. The UK must start actually educating and training people properly to fulfil occupations requiring great skill and knowledge, and pay them properly as well.

I am expecting a general advance of Russian armour and infantry, supported by air power, in 2024 and/or 2025. The Kiev-regime forces do not have the manpower to resist, or will soon not have. They are all now in purely defensive mode, despite the occasional missile or drone provocation attacking Russia itself.

It may be that that general advance will move west and north-west until most of Eastern Ukraine (i.e. east of the Dnieper) is occupied by Russian forces.

Kiev itself has been heavily fortified in defensive layers, including massive minefields. It may be that there will not be an attempt to storm Kiev until much later, in late 2025, or 2026.

The Kiev regime is draining armed forces personnel, arms, ammunition at a fairly rapid rate now. There may be some kind of palace revolution in Kiev, with the Jewish dictator, Zelensky, removed and forced into exile, along with his cabal and their stolen billions. At that point, peace talks may well occur and result in an armistice, even if no final or formal result or peace is possible.

Ironic. That Jewish woman once, quite a few years ago, tweeted openly to another one that I (together with some other person, entirely unknown to me) should be given a glass of strychnine to drink…

I do not want “a debate“. I want an end to this invasion. So do the British people.

Also, it is quite clear why such information remains secret or unavailable, which is because public release of the statistical evidence would underline how hugely negative mass immigration has been to this country. In the end, I think that many Ukrainian people will be glad to welcome the Russian armies as they advance.

That photo, showing President Assad, reminds me of when little William Hague, about 12 years ago, said that Assad was finished and would be on a plane out to exile somewhere or other within days, if not hours. Ha ha! The UK is ruled by clowns of the William Hague sort— or even worse in fact, now. No wonder that 80% of the electorate want to stamp on the Conservative Party, and stamp and stamp…

Well, you people, most of you “Conservative” and “Labour” voters, never supported those who tried to warn of the likely consequences of the mass immigration invasion of the UK —from the 1950s through to today—, meaning Enoch Powell, the National Front, the BNP, social-national thinkers etc.

Many tried to get a public hearing, but were ignored, or persecuted, or even prosecuted. You people kept voting for System parties and their corrupt and/or stupid MPs. Even now, you vote for a System party. Now see the results…

Forget about knives. Knives are just a peripheral symptom. Look at and then deal with the causes. Those who carry the knives. They are probably already breeding the next generation of knife-carriers and stabbers.

In a video clip, Leila can be seen quickly breathing in and out, desperate for a breath of fresh air in one of the 12 remaining hospitals in the besieged enclave. 

The outline of her ribs, along with all her other bones, are visible through her pallid, paper-thin skin, which sits in stark contrast to the blue blanket underneath her that provides little comfort to the toddler, who is not old enough to comprehend the hellish suffering she is undergoing. 

Her jaw is slack as she lies on her back inside the plastic cage of the incubator, barely able to move her arms and legs. 

She can’t keep her eyes open as medics at the hospital, which UN official Andrea De Domenico this week said was receiving ‘about 15 malnourished children a day and is struggling to maintain services,’ run tests to understand how to help her. 

But it’s food, water and proper rest she needs, all things that the whole enclave is desperately in need of, and all things that Israel has been accused of deliberately withholding from civilians in its bitter war against Hamas, which – according to a top UN human rights official – could amount to a war crime.”

When I was at the Bar, I advised and appeared on several such cases in the County Court, both in London and the provinces. Almost all, in fact all, should have settled long before they got to court, long before any barristers were instructed.

I think that I can say that I, and other counsel in the cases known to me, did our best to achieve reasonable closure, but these are cases (often involving trivial amounts of land) where reason always seems to fly out out of the window.

In many cases, all Counsel, solicitors, and the judge in the matter, understand that the matters in question should settle before enormous costs are racked up but, often, the litigants are effectively willing to risk bringing down ruin on themselves for a chance of gaining a victory over their neighbours (with whom they will have to live —nearby— afterwards, after the case ends, whichever way it goes), unless one party sells up and moves (in which event…well, you get my point).

If you told someone to remortgage his house, take out equity of ยฃ50,000, ยฃ100,000 or more, then go to Las Vegas, and stake the entire amount, maybe in one spin, on red or black at the roulette table, the houseowner would call you crazy, but that is, often, exactly what he or she —often a couple— are willing to do in taking to the County Court (in some cases to the High Court) such cases.

I remember one case I had that was about a wedge-shaped piece of land running the length of a North London suburban garden; at one end it was only about an inch or so wide and, at the other, about a foot.

What can one say? Territorial feeling can be very powerful.

Private enterprise —properly regulated for honesty, health and safety, employee rights etc— should run most commerce and industry, but there are exceptions, among which are the main structures of the economy providing services to the whole people: water supply, large-scale energy, electricity generation and supply, roads, railways.

Very true. As for me [b.1956], my memories of even the late 1950s are few, but those of the 1960s, and up to the present year, are many. Speaking very broadly, I should say that the dividing line between the UK of 2024 and an earlier and different UK lies, arguably, somewhen between the Thatcher election victory of 1979 and the fall of socialism in or about 1989. Maybe 1979 as far as the UK is concerned, domestically. Too much to cover here in a few paragraphs, though.

Seems that H.M. Land Registry (or its ad agency) does not know the difference between “principle” and “principal“. On that basis, I am sceptical about anything they say they will do; it is not trivial, but a matter of both basic education and checking what is put before the public.

His reporting on military matters has been patchy; refer to the Wikipedia entry.

There are many scribblers of that sort. He is far from being the only defaulter.

Of course, in relation to the Ukraine war, a significant factor in reportage is that most Western msm outlets are openly biased to an extent not seen since the 1940s. Anything seen in the msm relating to Ukraine, Russia, Putin etc has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Future archaeologists may find such tanks buried under a hundred feet of chernozem, and wonder what they were.

A reference to those detained and convicted in relation to the recent terrorist attack in Moscow, who may spend their lives as of now in so-called “coffin” cells measuring 4-6 square metres; cells as tiny as 6 feet by 6.

It troubles me that the apparent terrorists were treated with such brutality, verging on sadism (to say the very least), on the day when they were detained; also, that the now-mandated conditions of detention seem worse than simply inhumane; as bad as, or worse, than those suffered by some prisoners in America’s “Supermax” prisons.

It is not that I think that the terrorists “deserve” better treatment but rather, that to treat even such individuals as they have been treated and continue to be treated, diminishes Russia itself, just as Guantanamo, Bagram, Abu Ghraib etc diminished, and continue to diminish, America.

On this day in 1938, Austria became part of the German Reich, the forces of the Wehrmacht having crossed the border unopposed on the previous day, welcomed enthusiastically by crowds of Austrian people passed en route:

“Russia responded to unprecedented Western sanctions with an โ€œindecent gestureโ€ – CBC.

In early February, Vladimir Putin joked that he wanted to show a โ€œwell-known gestureโ€ to the sanctions-imposing West, but would not do so because there were โ€œmany girls in the room.โ€

Instead, the Russian president boasted about the country’s economy and its ability to expand its military-industrial complex in the face of unprecedented sanctions, writes CBC journalist Briar Stewart.

Indeed, over the past two years, the Russian government has managed to circumvent sanctions and limit inflation while investing nearly a third of its budget in defense spending. He also managed to increase trade with China and sell his oil to new markets, in part by using a shadow fleet of tankers to get around a price cap that Western countries hoped would reduce the country’s military budget.

In 2022, Western countries froze Russia’s sovereign assets worth $300 billion. Then more than 16 thousand sanctions were introduced. European airspace was closed to Russian aircraft, and hundreds of Western companies left Russia or curtailed their activities.

But today there are the latest iPhones and MacBooks on Russian shelves because government and business have largely been able to adapt. Russia has relied on Asia, and especially China, as its main economic lifeline. Russia’s ability to produce weapons and use its oil money to finance them is a pressing issue for Ukraine, which is struggling with arms and ammunition shortages, and for its allies.

โ€œHowever, there are no simple steps left to tighten the sanctions regime. It’s a game of cat and mouse. Any delays in making decisions on additional sanctions give Russia the opportunity to adjust its policies and its economy,โ€ the article says.”

People do not really want Labour, but they do want rid of the present Government. The misnamed Conservative Party is toast.

The “Conservatives” have given up trying to win, or even not badly lose, the 2024 General Election. They are now focussed on giving whatever they can while they can, not to their “core voters” but to the very core of that core, the wealthiest 1% or 2%.

Ukraine has never been famous for great minds, but that quoted remark must take the biscuit for recent comments by members of the Kiev regime. That man is the Chief of their General Staff!

And I would be very interested to know what happened in Istanbul shortly after the war began, when Boris Johnson, essentially halfway through the Biden administration, torpedoed the peace agreement.

So we really need to do a complete re-evaluation of this issue. And we should secure our own border before sending $60 billion down the rat hole to secure other countries.”

Quite. In fact, you could give the Zelensky regime USD $60BN or $600BN, and it would make no difference. “Ukraine” (Kiev regime) cannot “win”, even to the extent of “taking back” Crimea, Donetsk, and Lugansk, let alone anything more ambitious.

The present Ukraine is a failed state, and in fact a fake state.

Fierce fighting broke out around such settlements as Robotino, Urozhainoye and Staromayorskoye.

To repel the Russian onslaught, Kyiv has mobilized some of its best units, equipped with American-made armored vehicles and tanks, Newsweek notes.“

Twitter/X is now full of idiots saying that Lydon is “wrong“, “gammon“, a “hypocrite” (because his family was Irish—as if that is equivalent to being a Congolese or Afghan…) etc.

All one has to do is remember that active Twitter/X is a very small world (perhaps 1% of the British people, and very atypical, which is why its “woke” apparent majority always gets it wrong politically, from the result of the Brexit Referendum to Trump’s first Presidential election to (you name it).

Amazing that people are somehow surprised at all. The economy was deliberately (and for no good reason) largely shut down for two years, and by Government decree, during which time millions of people were paid to stay home watching TV, or drinking, or paid to work (at well below peak capacity) from home.

At the same time, and over recent years, half a million to a million useless parasites per year, from all over the world, have been imported to the UK as fake “students”, “high-skilled workers” (Indians who can work a computer), “family members”, fake fiances/fiancees etc, and/or allowed to stay having come here illegally on small boats. Most of them supported entirely from Government funds.

That is in addition to vast sums wasted otherwise during the panicdemic/scamdemic: “test and trace”, “PPE” etc.

Britain continues to go down, both economically and socially. Look at the cities: people sleeping in the streets, which are overrun anyway with unwanted migrant hordes from all over the world. In the countryside, the roads are like those I recall from driving in Bulgaria and Greece etc 20-25 years ago; potholed, poorly-surfaced and, unlike those of Bulgaria or Turkey decades ago, overcrowded.

Then look at the UK’s police (who prefer to snoop on bloggers and Twitter/X accounts rather than do their proper job), or the NHS (which is almost a skeleton service).

Oh, and the Jew Shapps was in Kiev on Thursday, throwing more British taxpayer monies at Zelensky’s brutal, corrupt, and shambolic dictatorship, which is about to be flattened by a Russian steamroller.

As most readers will probably know, Sam Melia was sentenced last Friday to 2 years imprisonment (which may in practice mean 6-12 months —more likely 12 than 6) for distributing stickers which themselves contained nothing illegal, as the trial and sentencing judge recognized.

The judge is said also to have recognized, in his summation, that Sam Melia is a good fellow (or some such), a good family man, a good citizen and community member etc. Despite that, Melia has been imprisoned, for what amount to purely political reasons.

Melia’s wife, the brave Laura Towler, has been left to struggle with her home and small business, with one small child, as well as being about to give birth to a second child.

I had not previously heard of this person or of his crimes. It does beg the questions around Nature v. Nurture, in that the subject had been brutalized from an early age, firstly by his own parents, then by the juvenile “reform” system, then by other experiences, and finally by the state and Federal adult prison systems.

In other words, someone evidently monstrous, but at the same time someone made monstrous, arguably. It would be interesting to compare the life-stories of his several siblings.

I have a shrewd idea (or maybe not so shrewd— we shall see…) that “30p Lee” Anderson may have jettisoned the Conservative Party rather than the other way around. After all, the Con Party is staring down the barrel of an electoral meltdown which may finish off arguably the longest-surviving political party in the world.

The Conservative Party was looking at quite likely defeat in Anderson’s constituency, but now maybe not (if Anderson is reinstated). If Anderson is not reinstated, he may well be able to stay on as MP either as an Independent or, more likely, after having stood as Reform Party candidate. He now has real national profile.

The maverick MP has been suspended from being under the Conservative Party whip.

Naturally, I do not agree with his statement that London is โ€œrun by Muslimsโ€. Sadiq Khan is from a Muslim background, but has been pretty much in the Jew-Zionist pocket for many years.

It would be more accurate to characterize Sadiq Khan as โ€œanti-whiteโ€.

As to Anderson himself, I suggest that he is trying to bolster his position vis a vis the General Election expected later this year.

Marquand defected to the SDP and then was honourable enough to step down as MP, not contesting the by-election.

In fact, Marquand was himself rather intellectual:

He argued that this decline was caused by Britainโ€™s failure to become a developmental state like France, Germany and Japan. In fact, Ashfield is not quite as โ€œsafe Labourโ€ as the history might suggest superficially. Gloria de Piero won in 2010 by a majority of under half a point (0.4%, 192 votes) from a LibDem.

While de Pieroโ€™s majority increased in 2015 (as the LibDems imploded), in 2017 she beat the Conservative candidate by less than one point (0.9%, 441 votes). An Ashfield Independent came third with over 9% of the vote.

In 2019, Lee Anderson won convincingly: 39.3% of the vote, followed in second (27.6%) by another โ€œAshfield Independentโ€, Jason Zadrozny [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Zadrozny], who has had a chequered political and personal history. In third place came Labour, with only 24.4%.

Zadrozny is going to contest the seat at GE 2024.

So far, apart from Anderson (who may or may not be standing as Conservative Party candidate, depending on whether he gets back the Conservative whip), only the Ashfield Independent and Reform UK are presently known to be likely to stand at GE 2024, but a full field is almost guaranteed. There may be a dozen or more candidates.

At first, I thought that Anderson could probably be written off as post-GE 2024 MP, but now am not so sure. He has now (whether by design or not) distanced himself from the unpopular Conservative leadership โ€”and possibly from the equally-unpopular Conservative Partyโ€” is anti-EU, anti-migration invasion etc, and is now known nationwide. He must have at least a chance of retaining his seat. If he does, and if he also retains it as a โ€œConservativeโ€ MP, he might be one of 100 or even as few as 50 such MPs. Who knows what might then happen?“

It may be that Anderson would be better off electorally standing either for Reform UK or as Independent than he would be as a Conservative Party candidate. Voters like “celebrity”; look at how Caroline Lucas has built up her constituency vote at Brighton Pavilion over the years, and that despite Green Party candidates elsewhere generally losing their deposits with votes under 5%.

I happened to see the communique below from Laura Towler of Patriotic Alternative:

“Morning all. Bit of an update about Sam as heโ€™s still under direction not to talk about his trial on social media.

He is being sentenced on Friday. There is a chance he will get a custodial sentence, but there is also the possibility he wonโ€™t. We are preparing for the worst but hoping for the best. Itโ€™s a weird feeling right now because we donโ€™t know whether this will be our last week together for a while, but despite this Sam is in a good place. When you can hold your head up high and honestly say your intentions were good, and when you have the truth on your side, you can take whatever is thrown at you.

Sam has recorded a video that will be uploaded after Friday, sharing his thoughts and a message for you all. If he gets a custodial sentence, that will be how he speaks. If he walks away a free man, he will be able to post again.
