People may have noticed that my former website, ianrmillard.com, is now inactive. I gave up that website because I was entirely dissatisfied with the hosting company (ipage), and would never recommend ipage to anyone. The customer service is difficult if not impossible to use if you are outside the USA. There are better companies, I believe.
A new website will be put in place under a new name, and in due course.

The social inequities under Tsarism provided the fuel, then events (not Bolshevik propaganda) provided the spark that set that fuel alight.
The Bolsheviks were in fact almost an irrelevance until 1917. Their numbers seem to have been between 5,000 and 50,000 until that year. Lenin himself was not even in Russia until two months after the first or real revolution of 1917. His putsch merely took over an existing situation.
I doubt that many, in the Russia of, say, 1913 or 1914, could have predicted that the Imperial state (and society) would fall so easily and so comprehensively.

Seems clear on the basis of the above (n.b. seems genuine but I have no source) that all of those groups except the (tied) top two (white and non-white college graduates, i.e degree-holders) and white non-college graduates, are far more likely to vote Democrat.
Non-whites now outnumber whites in the USA, and the disparity is growing. The 2016 and 2020 election were not simple white v. non-white contests, but it is clear that that binary was important in both elections and like to become more so.
Puting it bluntly, democracy of the one-man one-vote sort kills the future for white people if the population of voters is mixed, and the whites in the minority.

As someone who has not cycled for nearly 40 years (and that was in Amsterdam), I think that the “cycle lanes” all over the UK are totally stupid. The problem, though, is they usually just appropriate part of an existing road, whereas in places like the Netherlands and Denmark, new cycleways are created, where possible, separate from motorized traffic. It is a commonplace to read that the Electoral College system is undemocratic, in that it allows a candidate with fewer votes than the other main candidate to win, and so become President.
On the other hand, were total numbers alone to be determinative, and as things are now, that would mean a permanent Democrat and non-white majority (and President).
Many will say “why not?”, but even if one leaves aside my view that white people must rule, it can be seen that such a permanent non-white/Democrat majority would lead to civil war and the break-up of the Union.

I commented a while ago, and also not long after the unmerited Conservative Party “victory” in 2019, that in the absence of a viable official Opposition, any real opposition to the Boris-idiot government would come from within the Conservative Party itself. That has turned out to be the case. In the vote (scheduled for tomorrow) to approve the latest crazy “lockdown”, 80+ Conservative Party MPs are set to vote against, with others abstaining. The Labour Party, though, has stepped into the breach to support the Government!
In fact, Labour’s only “opposition” is to say, “Boris should have done it earlier, harsher, and better-run“… That’s not much of an Opposition…
In the absence of a decent Government and a decent Opposition, we see not only the rebellion of many Conservative Party MPs, but a vacuum opening up. That applies not only to policy and action around “the virus”, but also in other areas: immigration, migration-invasion, illegal immigrants motoring over from France with little to stop them; other areas too: work and pay, pensions.
The Government and Opposition are just too cosy now, both headed by members of Friends of Israel organizations.

The NHS is a good idea that is now not working well, and has to some extent become a bureaucracy working mainly for its own employees. It needs radical change, with layers of (mis-) management removed, just cut away, and clinical need (and clinical excellence) put into the driving seat. The once-derided “Matron” figure must return. Standards of cleanliness are terrible now in the NHS. That is perhaps partly because of the number of non-Europeans now employed, but poor management and admin is at least as important.

He was lucky that most people missed the news about him. “We” (most of the public) have been frightened out of “our” collective skin by a virus not infecting most people, and which kills about 1% of those who are infected in the UK. It has killed one individual person out of every 8,000 (!) on the Earth. Not one in eight, not one in 800, but one in 8,000!
“We” (most of the public) are wearing (being forced to wear) facemasks in shops, supermarkets, on trains (where a study has shown the chance of being infected without a facemask is only 11,000:1 (and so the chance of being infected on a train and then dying is about one in a million…). It’s mad.
Why are “we” complying with the above and other crazy “measures”? Well, partly because “we” (most people?) believe that “we” are both in danger of infection, and also that facemasks etc help to prevent that infection (which they do not, or only peripherally).

What is the plan of the international conspiracy (or “consensus”)?
First of all, the destruction of Europe as the leading population in the world. There are several ways in which the international conspiracy is plotting that.
First of all, by encouraging migration-invasion by blacks, browns and “yellows” (mainly Chinese).
Secondly, by making Europeans a minority in their own lands. This has several aspects. Firstly, as above: migration-invasion. Secondly, by births to non-Europeans but in Europe; thirdly, the propaganda which puts white Northern Europeans down in terms of history, culture, ability etc. You name it. The “Black Lives Matter” nonsense, the attack on our history (statues, heroic tales, great personalities etc).
It would also include the fact that the actual “black” population of the UK is only about 3% or 4%, and the whole black/brown/other non-European population no more than 20%, yet pretty much every TV ad now has blacks and/or mixed race individuals in it, not infrequently a white/black couple (usually a white woman with a black “husband” or “boyfriend”). Flint was also a noted expenses cheat and freeloader. She made millions out of being an MP for 22 years, not least by having the taxpayers buy her a second home (a flat in Victoria, Central London) via the MP expenses system. She also “employed” (also via expenses) her own husband, and claimed for anything and everything.

There was also that brave assault by the SBS, in which its personnel “fast-roped” from helicopters straight down onto the deck of the tanker, and then took back the ship in a matter of minutes (Sky and BBC said 9 minutes; some reports said 7). All true.
Sadly, and it is no reflection on the SBS, its men and their operation, but that was all part of the imperial hypocrisy. It was used by the Government and msm to say to the public, “look at that! We are really tough on piracy and illegal immigration! Detained by the tough guys from the SBS! That will show them!”

I shed no tears for Corbyn. I have never been a Labour Party supporter, member, or even voter. This situation might be hopeful for social nationalism. Now that there is in reality —and clearly-seen— one System party, notionally split into “Labour” and “Conservative”, the people can see that only a new movement (not just party, but movement) can lead them against those fake parties of decadence and evil.

If Corbyn Labour got about 32% of the popular vote at the 2019 General Election (the Conservative Party nearly 44%), then any new Corbyn party would probably get about 15% at best. The courts have been closed or largely closed for 6 months. Barristers in private self-employed practice are subject to Lenin’s dictum, “he who does not work does not eat“— Кто не работает, тот не кушает [Кто не работает, тот не кушает]. How well do I remember that! I mean life at the practising Bar (1992-1996 and 2002-2008).
My Bar practice, especially in earlier years, in the early 1990s, was very much illustrative of that. I was in pretty poor London chambers at first, which supplied equally poor work, mostly criminal. I had to hustle, as the Americans say, to get work of my own in various ways, because chambers had poor work and the single Clerk was almost useless.
Before very long (it seemed long at the time), the magistrates’ court and Crown Court appearances gave way to High Court (i.e. non-criminal) cases, mostly judicial reviews, and other non-criminal work (mostly contract cases) in the County Court, as well as Tribunal appearances of various kinds. Quite mixed.
One day, a High Court brief marked at (for preparation time and first day or part) maybe £2,000 or even £5,000 for half a day or a day (this was about 25 or 27 years ago; today, it would be far far more), the next day a tiny magistrates’ court appearance at perhaps £100 (or less), or a “Mention” (a brief Crown Court appearance which might be only a few minutes in length), with criminal legal aid fee officially fixed at £46! The following day? Maybe nothing at all. The week after? Sometimes, still nothing at all! Followed by…whatever. Some weeks, one might do work in the thousands or even more; more usually, the fees would amount to a few hundred or a thousand; not rarely, I would make absolutely nothing in a whole week.
My spending was likewise up and down; one week, Rules restaurant, the River Room at the Savoy, Julie’s in Notting Hill, and a weekend at Cliveden [ https://www.clivedenhouse.co.uk/]. The next week might be an egg-on-toast breakfast at a workers’ cafe, and maybe a loaf of bread and a tin of tuna (plus decent red wine, though!) for the evening, and a walk in Regent’s Park for weekend recreation (depending on luck…).
Reverting to the Today Programme, my reaction (apart from Memory Lane reminiscence) was two-fold. I recognize that a civilized society needs a cadre of criminal defenders. Likewise, they need to be paid at a reasonably generous level to reflect their years of study, continuing study, and their responsibility.
Of course, many at the civil, Chancery and other parts of the Bar are not affected much, or even at all, by “the virus”. Still, the criminal Bar and maybe the family-law Bar are affected severely. A serious problem for society as a whole.
On the other hand, when I was attacked by a malicious pack of Zionist Jews, a persecution which led eventually to my unjust disbarment in October 2016, not one barrister spoke up for me, for freedom of socio-political expression (“free speech”) generally, or for fairness. Not one who had known me personally. Not one who poses as a champion of “free speech”, political liberty etc, and virtue-signals accordingly. Not one.
That being so, I have to admit that, harsh though it may be, I am laughing now as many members of the Bar are suffering, nearing penury and even bankruptcy. What goes around comes around, and I am not going to shed too many crocodile tears for people who failed to say one word for me or for free speech.
In fact, a few barristers, either Jews or very tied up with Jews and/or (probably) dependent on Jewish solicitors for work, tweeted joyfully about my getting disbarred; one or two were even gratuitously rude to me directly, either then or much later. Don’t worry— you happy few have not been forgotten.
Incidentally, the five tweets which resulted in my disbarment were all general comments; not one was addressed to any individual, and they were all true! Example? Michael Gove as “a pro-Jew, pro-Israel expenses cheat“. That was all demonstrably true, yet was deemed “grossly offensive“! Now, of course, we know that Michael Gove is also a cocaine-snorting drunk, who was even filmed not so long ago drunk and/or drugged, and staggering, in the Chamber of the House of Commons! Ye Gods!
