Free speech, freedom of expression

Brave words, yet J.K. Rowling often seems to make common cause with the Jewish/Israel lobby, elements of which conspired to have me disbarred in 2016 for 5 tweets (every single one true and accurate, and not one addressed to an individual); later, effectively the same Jew-Zionist lobby had me prosecuted, in 2023-2024, for a few cartoons and comments allegedly posted on this blog. Small parts of a mere 5 daily blog posts, over a period of 3 years, and extracted from literally thousands of pages of blog material, as the woodentopped Hampshire police and the “fat ladies” of CPS Wessex have admitted on their Twitter accounts and websites.

See also:

I was sentenced, as noted on those blog posts above, about 18 months ago. My financial penalty (£735 altogether) was one-third crowdfunded by a few generous donors, the rest paid off in several monthly instalments.

My “9-month community order” (nominally “15 rehabilitation days” over the 9 months) amounted in fact to half a dozen or so brief meetings over about 5 months, and with a rather charming young lady from the Probation Service.

Average length of meeting was about 40 minutes; one, I think the first one, was a couple of hours, most were far shorter than 40 minutes (one was about 15 mins). General chat mixed in with a bit of armchair psychology. Naturally, such methods are designed for people (often drunks or drug abusers) convicted of bashing their noisy neighbours, or of having “had it away” with a trolley full of supermarket produce, not for someone accused of having made politically-disapproved-of statements…

In the end, my “probation” (to use the older term) was cut short for reasons that were never explained. I presume that the probation people are swamped by real crime as society slides to destruction, and thus decided that it was pointless (as it was, of course) to have me coming in every few weeks for half an hour.

The free speech trial was held in November 2023, nearly 2 years ago. Sentencing was in mid-March 2024. My last “probation” meeting was in early September 2024, so already over a year ago. It already seems as if it happened years ago.

The aim of the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, via its self-styled “Director of Investigations and Enforcement”, one “Slitherman” (shall we call him?), who attended both trial and sentencing, and whom I publicly named and shamed in open court, was to stop publication of this blog by having me prosecuted by a compliant police “farce” and the “Clown” Prosecution Service. That attempt to gag me failed. The blog continued to be published throughout the prosecution, trial, and sentencing process, even on the days of trial; it continued to be published throughout the ~5 month period of “probation” in 2024, and has continued to appear on a near-daily basis since then.

[“At some point, the west needs to consider woke leftism to be a form of terrorism. Woke lefties are constantly glorifying violence: “Bash the fash” “Punch Nazis” “Kill TERFS” These phrases are all aimed at ordinary people who disagree with them… “Fash” = Anyone who disagrees with woke ideology “Nazis” = Anyone who disagrees with woke ideology TERFS = A woman who knows what a woman is Another common narrative on the woke left is “We need to fight back” Consider for a moment, who exactly it is they’re talking about “fighting back” at…? It’s ordinary people who are quite literally, doing absolutely nothing wrong. What are they “fighting” …? Our refusal to obey them. This is terrorism.“]

I have noticed, on Twitter, that most of the loonies (“antifa” types, Jew-Zionists, and actual mental cases, the last type almost all also belonging to the first two types mentioned) who attacked me for years, have disappeared from Twitter, and in a few cases off the face of the Earth.

I wrote about some of them:

I know that several who conspired against me have died, others may or may not have done, but have disappeared from Twitter, possibly into mental hospitals. Where, I wonder, is, for example, Jasna Badzak, “the Balkan Fraud”? Where is unprofessional NHS psychiatrist (himself suffering from mental illness, as he admitted on Twitter/X) Tim G. Stevens of Essex? Where is Mike Stuchbery? (actually, I know where he is— Stuchbery, now living in Stuttgart, has decamped to Twitter’s rival, “Blue Sky”, where he now posts only occasionally; maybe the German health service gives him better medications).

Just three examples of many. Incidentally, I noticed recently that another pro-Israel crazie, one-time MP Louise Mensch, whose wealthy Jewish husband finally divorced her (though I expect he had to pay through the nose to get rid of her), is back on Twitter/X, after a long period in which she apparently had a further mental breakdown and made up packs of highly-publicized lies about Putin and Trump, which lies were eventually exposed.

Louise Mensch used to tweet about me and even, extremely vituperatively, directly to me (when I had a Twitter account, before 2018). I have blogged about her craziness and malice previously. It can be found via the search box.

Quite (both tweets). The breakdown of culture, society, and even civilization itself is a terrible prospect. People need order, but preferably order which does not go so far (except for a brief period of what might be called “social therapy” or “social surgery”) as becoming a dictatorship or, still less, tyranny.

Hitler is usually considered to be, and considered himself, a dictator, yet he recognized that his period of dictatorship, though necessary in the short to medium term, would eventually mellow, after his retirement, and become something milder and less “dictatorial”.

What is usually worse even than outright tyranny, is anarchy (in the sense of chaotic failure of social and political norms, not “anarchy” as understood by, e.g., Kropotkin).

I can see that a kind of social/racial/cultural war is on the horizon, and not only in the UK, but I rightly fear the collapse of society, of its structure and order, of its civilized services of all kinds.

Eventually, the surrounding facts become too pressing to ignore.

Britain needs a disciplined force such as the old S.S. to shoot down rioters (not protesters, but rioters) and also feral untermenschen.

[“If you want to know how utterly insane the UK is right now read this: Last year, a man named Shahidul Haque, 55, who is on benefits, claims he is “disabled” because of “obstructive sleep apnoea” and depression, and cannot speak English, was moved into a retirement home in Berkshire. A retirement home. His rent? £110 a week. A few months later, he brought his 28-year-old wife and two children into the retirement home, claiming he did not know he was not allowed to do this because he cannot speak English and read tenancy documents. After the elderly neighbours complained about anti-social behaviour and sought his eviction, Shahidul Haque said he should not be evicted because it would be a breach of his “human rights”. His lawyers are using the European Convention on Human Rights to try and prevent his eviction. Our “leaders” are giving foreigners who do not speak English subsidised housing in retirement homes for our elderly because they claim to have “depression”. This is insane. This has to stop.“]

“Justice” would have been served, under existing law, perfectly well in the Lucy Connolly case had she been given a conditional discharge, or a small fine. No need to imprison her.

Slowly slowly catchee monkee…

Has it really taken radio loudmouth James O’Brien five years to understand that?! I was saying it on the blog about 4-5 years ago! (re. Starmer as Labour leader, long before he even became Prime Minister).

I examined the Jew-Zionist/Israel aspects of the Mandelson matter yesterday and the day before:

Here we see in print, and from the horse’s mouth, Mandelson himself, that Mandelson first met the Jew rapist and Israeli Intelligence agent Epstein via Ghislaine Maxwell, who was obviously herself an agent of Israeli Intelligence (either MOSSAD or Aman, or both); her horrible and evil father, “Robert Maxwell”, is now generally accepted as having been one of MOSSAD’s most important agents over many decades, which is why the Jewish authorities in Israel allowed him to be buried on the Mount of Olives at Jerusalem [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_of_Olives].

The whole Epstein thing was a massive and hugely-expensive operation by Israeli Intelligence. In fact, some msm journalists have asked where did Epstein’s money really come from. That is, Epstein was somehow wealthier than his history suggested: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Epstein.

As to why Israel would pay out so much, you only have to look at what is known (tip of the iceberg) about the “Lolita Express” passengers. Several Americans on the Presidential level, many just below that level, some top-level advisers such as Dershowitz. Top-grade intelligence sources, if they could be recruited or tapped. More than that, they were persons able to influence policy, especially U.S. policy at the top level(s). Absolutely top-grade agents of influence, if they could be persuaded or nudged to play ball.

Dan Hodges should think harder.

How much influence on UK government or society does “Combat 18” have? Does it even exist these days? OK, what about Thomas Mair and/or David Copeland? Do they influence UK society? No. They were “lone wolves” who decided to undertake solitary paramilitary action,

Breivik? Another lone wolf and, if he has any influence, it would be mainly on other individuals, not on society as a whole, or the policies of any government.

Therein lies the difference.

Social-nationalists are already here, and stand ready to do whatever is necessary when the time comes.

As for “socialism doesn’t work“, that is true on the economic level; it is less easily productive than finance-capitalism. However, that is a narrow way of looking at the question.

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding:

The threefold social order is a social theory by Rudolf Steiner proposing society be organized into three distinct, autonomous spheres: the cultural (or spiritual) sphere (focused on freedom and individuality), the legal/political sphere (based on equality and rights), and the economic sphere (built on solidarity and meeting needs). Each sphere should operate independently but interact, forming a healthy, interconnected social organism.”

If the Kiev regime sows the wind, it will reap the whirlwind.

Wise words.

Every day, a thousand, or two thousand, untermenschen flood into our country. It is a major, the major, crisis, along with mass immigration generally.

Update, 14 September 2025

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/sep/13/jeffrey-epstein-emails-wealth

Jeffrey Epstein was a very wealthy man, but exactly how wealthy and where that money came from remains shrouded in mystery.

Newly unearthed emails last week shone light on Epstein’s role as freelance client development officer, acting as a channel between political figures and business titans, greasing up the former with lifestyles they could not afford and the latter with avenues of political influence.

the questions about the source of Epstein’s wealth have never been fully resolved. He was worth nearly $600m at his death, thanks mostly to two wealthy billionaire clients – Victoria’s Secret founder Les Wexner and, later, Apollo Global Management co-founder Leon Black – as well as Johnson & Johnson heiress Elizabeth “Libet” Johnson, sister of former US ambassador to the UK Woody Johnson.

Between his collection of lavish homes in New York, Palm Beach and Paris, two private Caribbean islands, two jets and helicopter, Epstein held nearly $380m in cash and investments, according to his estate.

That wealth arrived suddenly. According to associates, until the end of the 90s, Epstein was living in a two-bedroom apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side close to the river. It was only when Maxwell arrived from London that his lifestyle was dramatically elevated.

Epstein moved to a townhouse on 68th Street and later to a 28,000-sq-ft mansion on 71st Street, later transferred to him by Wexner in 2011.

Steven Hoffenberg, a former business partner of Epstein convicted of running a Ponzi scheme, claimed that Maxwell’s father, disgraced press baron Robert Maxwell, introduced his daughter to Epstein in the late 1980s.

[“Soft coup in the army of the Israel: mass protest of the Air Force and Navy officers of the Israel army! Journalists and analysts from Israeli TV channels report: The letter from pilots and naval officers demanding an end to the war has caused a real storm. Refusal to serve becomes a strategic threat. The dismissal of thousands of military personnel would be a grave mistake! At the same time, none of the goals of the war have been achieved yet, and everything that is happening is turning into a huge snowball, capable of developing into an avalanche.”]

[“NEW POST. I’ve just returned to Britain from Hungary, where I spent a few days giving talks to students, politicians, and members of the public. Whenever you mention Hungary among a certain group in London —think SW1 Westminster, the BBC, Financial Times, Oxbridge—people tend to lose their minds. ‘Hungary!?’ they say, ‘you mean that rather odd country in Eastern Europe that’s very conservative and falling out with everybody in the European Union!?” I first experienced this reaction last summer when, amid the Southport atrocities, I dared to point out that the country I was visiting and which Western elites like to criticise —a very stable, a very secure, and a very peaceful Hungary—looked utterly different to the country I was returning to. Because unlike Hungary, Britain was on fire. Widespread rioting and protests after the Southport atrocity had become an unavoidable symbol of intense public concern about things that are only significant in Hungary because they are absent —mass uncontrolled immigration, broken borders, radical Islamism, Pakistani Muslim rape gangs, and the murder of children by the descendants of recent immigrants. Nonetheless, my mere suggestion that perhaps Hungary has got some things right that Britain has got badly wrong generated an incredibly hostile response from British elites, reflecting an arrogance and snobbishness that is rife among that class. Indeed, for much of the last fifteen years there’s been an assumption among elites in Britain that something has gone ‘badly wrong’ with Hungary. But based on what I witnessed and was asked at events last week, I’m here to tell you that the opposite is true. Because as far as many Hungarians are concerned, it is Britain, it is England, it is us, who got things badly wrong, who made a series of disastrous policy choices they are determined to avoid, and who are, in the words of one person I encountered, “losing our country”.”]

I certainly enjoyed my week or so in Hungary (about 24 years ago), when I stayed for about 3 days at Szeged (having driven from Turkey through Bulgaria and Romania) and then about 4 days by Lake Balaton.

Reform UK

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14280613/Reform-UK-Nigel-Farage-Labour-government-new-poll.html

Reform UK is now only a single percentage point behind Labour – putting their leader Nigel Farage within touching distance of Number 10 at the next election.

New polling data from YouGov, commissioned by Sky News, puts Reform on 24 per cent and Labour on 25 per cent – down a whopping 9 percentage points from their winning vote share at the 2024 UK election.

With the Conservatives on 22 per cent, the UK electorate may be about to usher in a new epoch of three-way party politics.

The new research puts Labour on 26 per cent, Reform UK on 25 per cent, the Tories on 22 per cent, the Lib Dems on 14 per cent and the Greens on 8 per cent.

In general the assessment of Sir Keir’s first six months in office is damning, with only 10 per cent of voters judging that he has been successful and an overwhelming majortity (60 per cent) saying he has been unsuccessful.

Labour insiders are also worried at how the party is hemorrhaging voters to other parties across the political spectrum.

The new data found that they have retained only 54 per cent of supporters from the general election – while 7 percent have defected to the Lib Dems, 6 per cent to the Green Party, 5 per cent to Reform UK and 4 per cent to the Tories.

Meanwhile almost a quarter of those who voted Labour in the polls (23 per cent) either did not say, weren’t sure or had decided not to vote at all.

Labour also faces a problem with elderly voters in light of policies like the removal of the winter fuel allowance, with only 14 per cent of OAPs now saying they would cast their vote for Labour – down eight percentage points from the election.

[Daily Mail]

Naturally, Reform UK is not very close to me, ideologically. Pro Israel, pro-Jewish lobby, and (relatively) anti-welfare state; pro-finance capitalism.

Still, Reform UK has its uses. To move the “Overton Window”, particularly on issues of immigration, migration-invasion, free speech etc. Above all, to break up the LibLabCon “three main parties” scam which has been in place during my lifetime.

It may well be that all party politics will crumble to dust by reason of some existential catastrophe in the world, such as nuclear war, but that is another matter, arguably.

According to Electoral Calculus [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html], the figures given, if replicated at a general election, might result in a House of Commons with Labour holding 287 seats, Conservative Party 128, Reform UK 107, LibDems 77, Green Party 4. That would indicate a Lab-LibDem coalition, or some lesser concordat, Labour being about 37 short of an overall majority on those figures.

The (continuing) “reduction of the Gaza ghetto”…

Either ship him back or just get rid of him (and the rest).

When I was about 21-y-o, I wanted to get rid of hundreds of unwanted books, mostly paperback novels (spy stories and crime thrillers etc). I gave them to the Royal Marsden because I was then living at Reigate Hill in Surrey, only about 8 or 9 miles away from the hospital’s site at Sutton (though the distance seems more because the two areas are so different). I dropped them off at the hospital reception. I hope they at least passed the time for some of the in-patients. I suppose that must have been 1977 or 1978.

It looks, though, as if the lady tweeter noted attends not the Sutton site of the hospital but rather its other and older location, in Kensington (which would make more sense, because she lives not far from my old shooting club, the Kensington Rifle and Pistol Club, now all but defunct and no longer —since the 1990s, if not earlier—in West Kensington). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Marsden_Hospital.

My annual mammo is the best focus group of one you’ll get. Delightful radiographer tells me she’s never voted, they’re all as bad as each other and don’t listen to the NHS.

Furious about the social care plan delay not just as a healthcare worker but as the mother of a special needs adult who needs it. Her daughter volunteers in a food bank when she can, bless her.

3 disgraces in this story alone – underpaid NHS worker (my words not hers), crap & ludicrously expensive social care, food banks. I say I might have an offer you like and care passionately about fixing social care. And the rest. I also think doctors would run the NHS better, pen-pushers and deadbeat hospital CEOs, often from industry or politics, should be blocked off.

All right. Some good points, but was she saying all that when she was married to a Conservative MP and Whip (until a decade ago)? I do not know, but I doubt it. She was (and still is? I wonder…) a passionate supporter of the part-Jews David Cameron-Levita and George (Gideon) Osborne, whose government of nasty nonsense, 2010-2015, imposed so-called “austerity” (for the poor) and spending cuts which permanently crippled this country in every way.

As for “food banks”, they scarcely existed until 2010. Only on a tiny scale, anyway. Another result of “Conservative” Party policies 2010-2015.

The Fiona Syms tweeter should think about why the Conservative Party presently stands at 22% in the opinion polls, 2 points lower than at GE 2024, despite the evident hopeless incompetence and unpleasantness of the “Labour” government of “Tel Aviv Keith” Starmer and his little Labour Friends of Israel cabal.

People have not forgotten the 14 years of truly bad “Conservative” government 2010-2024, finishing off with the government of the little Indian money-juggler, Sunak; and now the “Conservatives” are “led” by a political joke (again), a Nigerian woman who only came to the UK at age 16, albeit that she spent a day or two here after her birth (in London).

Having said that, it is clear that Labour (too) is finished. After a week or two of Starmer-Labour misgovernment, I blogged as much, at which time the msm were sycophantically applauding Starmer (some stupid woman scribbler in, I think, the Guardian, even said that she found herself attracted to Starmer sexually!— Well, Henry Kissinger did say that “power is the ultimate aphrodisiac“…).

What stands out there for me is how only among those 65+ years of age is voting Conservative anywhere near the level required to ground a Conservative Party government. 35%. Not very impressive anyway, but dropping to only 25% among those 50-64 y o, and to only 16% among those aged 25-49 before almost disappearing among those aged 18-24.

It might be argued that those aged below 65 y o might well change their views when they age further (just as it was said by Soviet anti-Christian propagandists in the pre-1989 period that “only old women now attend Russian Orthodox churches“, but that was countered by those who noted that there seemed always to be another generation of old women at church…).

Yes, those now aged below 65 may well be more inclined to vote Conservative when they reach 65+, but in my opinion the numbers will never be higher, or even as high, as they now are.

If the percentage of those 65+ voting Conservative is now 35% or so, by 2029 that might easily decline to 30%, and lower thereafter. The same slide might also be seen, and probably will be seen, lower down the age scale. If the present 18-24 y o generation only vote Conservative Party at around 5%, that will almost certainly increase, but maybe only slightly, over the years to come. To what extent is hard to pinpoint, but maybe by only about 5 points in each coming generation, so at age 65+ maybe to about 20%.

Admittedly speculative.

That is assuming that the present voting and political system will still be here in 2060, 2040, or even 2030. Or the present world as we know it…

Until 6 months ago, though I already predicted on the blog that Starmer-Labour would be useless, I did not think that this government would or even could equal in infamy the totally s**t governments of 2010-2024. I think that this comes within the category “shocking but not surprising”…

Yes. All true. However…where was Toby Young, and where was the “Free Speech Union”, when I was wrongfully (and, as it later turned out, unlawfully) disbarred in 2016, as a result of a concerted campaign by the Jew-Zionist lobby, specifically the overlapping “UK Lawyers for Israel” [“UKLFI”] and “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”]?

Likewise, where were the “Free Speech Union” and Toby Young when I was subjected to a “criminal” trial over my free speech rights, and this blog?

An example of 2025 craziness

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14282311/Cambridge-law-student-sues-university-failed-PhD.html

A law student is suing Cambridge University for discrimination after he failed his PhD and delayed his career working as a barrister.

Jacob Meagher is seeking ‘substantial damages’ from the world famous institution, alleging he was the subject of disability discrimination and victimisation following the failure of his law PhD.

Mr Meagher also claimed that his oral ‘viva voce’ interview, where he was questioned about his thesis by two examiners, caused ‘significant damage’ to his health.

He ended up failing the examination, meaning he missed out on a opportunity to take up a tenancy at a ‘particular set of chambers’ and therefore ‘suffered a substantial loss of anticipated earnings’.

Outlining the claim, the judge said: ‘Mr Meagher…is a student at the University of Cambridge…undertaking a PhD in law.

‘[He] did not successfully pass his final viva voce examination of his doctoral thesis.

Court documents also stated that the University’s Disability Resource Centre had recommended that at the viva, examiners follow a set of guidelines, produced as part of a Student Support Document (SSD), to help him.

These included asking specific rather than general questions, using the active, rather than the passive, voice and allowing him pauses and breaks after questions…to allow him to ‘mentally retrieve the words or information that he needed in order to answer’.

[Daily Mail]

How on Earth does that litigant think he is going to survive at the Bar (unless he does no court work at all) if he cannot endure being verbally challenged, and needs time “to mentally retrieve the words or information that he [needs] in order to answer“?

You need a thick skin at the Bar. I should know. I was a practising barrister, in court almost daily, from 1993-1996 in London (often at the High Court, as well as in County Courts and both “the mags” and, less often, Crown Courts), and during 2002-2008 based in Exeter (though travelling widely across the UK and beyond).

Being put on the spot by a judge, especially a High Court judge (I was never at the Court of Appeal or the Supreme Court), can be a chastening experience even if the judge is (as most High Court judges are) reasonably courteous.

Woe betide the barrister who is unprepared, or whose instructing solicitors have fallen down on their job. I usually managed to put up a good show, or at least a good front, but I have seen other barristers fall silent, unable to say a word, or flounder helplessly; even, in one case (in Camberwell Magistrates’ Court, before a particularly severe Stipendiary Magistrate —the people called District Judges now—) actually whimper and almost burst into tears (it was a man, too…).

At one time, a barrister who was disabled, even physically, was at a huge disadvantage in trying to get into any chambers. Now, it is arguable that things have gone to the other extreme.

When I was in provincial chambers in Exeter, from 2002-2008 , there was a girl Bar pupil from Northern Ireland. She seemed pleasant and was afterwards offered a tenancy (after which she became markedly less pleasant). The point, though, was that she had a bad speech impediment. In my opinion, the Northern Irish accent is hard enough to understand, let alone when the speaker has a speech impediment. She did get some criminal and family work, though; low-level stuff.

In the end, that Northern Irish person gave up the Bar entirely (I was told) and returned to her native Ulster. At least there they were, presumably, able to understand what she said.

[my old chambers in Colleton Crescent, Exeter, from where I practised law at the Bar during the years 2002-2008]

Worth watching.

What a ridiculous monkeyhouse Westminster is! Look at thick-as-two-short-planks Angela Rayner, Rachel Reeves (“Rachel from Accounts”) etc, all making noise, exchanging remarks, and laughing like badly-behaved schoolchildren. Then there is stupid Liz Kendall, sitting there like a nodding dog, and about as credible.

The mainstream media milieu is a cesspit. I was just reading about some person whose name, though I had seen it somewhere, in the back of my mind, conveyed little to me. A few years younger than me (I am now 68), he has died, and even years ago was looking at least a decade or more older than me, looking at photos in the newspapers. In fact, make that 20+ years older.

Apparently, that person had, at one time, in the 1990s, been spending £4,000 a week on cocaine, and drinking 4-5 bottles of vodka every day!

You could double or treble that sum to get the same value in the money of 2025.

That tells me that such System-approved msm types are both hugely over-remunerated and totally decadent. Britain needs a thoroughgoing cultural purge even more than it needs a political purge. Hitler-level. Stalin-level. Biblical-level.

Well, there it is. Switzerland has officially lost its senses.

Court of Appeal stands up for freedom of expression

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9066069/Woke-folk-beware-Freedom-speech-includes-right-offend-say-judges-landmark-ruling.html

Judges have insisted that freedom of speech includes the ‘right to offend’ in a landmark ruling which could help to turn the tide.

Presiding over a case in the Court of Appeal, Lord Justice Bean and Mr Justice Warby said: ‘Freedom only to speak inoffensively is not worth having.’”

Mr Justice Warby explained that the relevant parts of the Communications Act ‘were not intended by Parliament to criminalise forms of expression, the content of which is no worse than annoying or inconvenient in nature’.

Miss Scottow [appellant] told The Daily Telegraph: ‘It was necessary to enshrine one of the most fundamental rights of every living being in a democratic society – the right to freedom of speech that is now routinely attacked…’ ” [Daily Mail]

The malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [CAA] conspirators will be tearing their hair out (those that have any). This must be relevant to the ongoing Alison Chabloz saga. Unlike the magistrates’ court decision in Alison’s 2018 conviction, which (contrary to CAA lies) set no precedent, this is a judgment in the Court of Appeal, and certainly does set a precedent.

Can the Alison Chabloz trial (presently set down for 2 days, 30-31 March 2021, at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, London) now even be continued? It would seem otiose now to continue the prosecution, quite apart from anything else.

[Alison Chabloz]

It could be argued that, stricto sensu, there is no precedent set by the Scottow appeal, in that Human Rights Act 1998, s.3 requires the court to interpret legislation in accord with Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights (which “guarantees” freedom of expression).

Sadly, the ECHR is hemmed in by so many ifs and buts that it is all but meaningless. For example, several EU states, such as France and Germany, are signed up to the ECHR yet have “holocaust” “denial” laws akin to those of the mediaeval times which criminalized “heretical” opinions.

On a practical level, this is a precedent. The ruling reaffirms the right to freedom of expression on political, social, religious, and historical topics.

On a connected point, Scotland may soon have a “hate speech” law that runs counter to the developing law in England. The funny thing is that, if so, anyone in Scotland wanting to post anything online which might be caught by that absurd yet tyrannical law need only go an inch over the border in England to escape such capture. God, what a bloody bore the Today Programme has become. I wonder how many people listen now. I try it most mornings, mainly if I am awake early enough to listen to the preceding broadcasts (Farming Today etc) but usually switch off before long.

Japanese whaling

Some years ago, when I still had a Twitter account (i.e. before a pack of Jews had me expelled), I often used to tweet about and against Japanese whaling. I also made the point that the international pressure against Japanese whaling, though absolutely correct, would not lead directly to a cessation of whaling by the Japanese.

For the Japanese, saving face is all important. It meant that the Japanese could not be seen to bow to either international diplomatic pressure or to the direct pressure exerted on the high seas by the Greenpeace and especially the Sea Shepherd protective ships: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Shepherd_Conservation_Society.

In his 2009 book, Whaling in Japan, Jun Morikawa states that Sea Shepherd’s confrontational tactics have actually strengthened Japan’s resolve to continue with its whaling program. According to Morikawa, Sea Shepherd’s activities against Japan’s whaling ships have allowed the Japanese government to rally domestic support for the program from Japanese who were otherwise ambivalent about the practice of hunting and eating whales.” [Wikipedia]

While I personally supported Sea Shepherd to the hilt, the above was obviously correct. However, I sensed that the Japanese leadership was trying to find a way to scale down whaling while still saving face. Whaling was and still is subsidized. Few Japanese now eat whale meat (a practice which, though ancient on a small scale, in modern form dates mainly from the 1940s:

“…demand for whale meat in Japan is very weak. Domestic consumption has plummeted from 200,000 tons a year in the 1960s to just 5000 tons lately, according to government figures cited by Kyodo News. This trend suggests that the marine mammals’ best ally may well be the Japanese people.” [https://www.maritime-executive.com/editorials/japan-scales-back-its-whaling-program]; https://www.economist.com/asia/2020/04/23/japan-wants-to-catch-whales-but-who-will-eat-them.

Japan has 4,000 tons of almost unusable whale meat in cold storage. https://www.pri.org/stories/2019-04-17/japan-few-people-eat-whale-meat-anymore-whaling-remains-popular

Most other products of whaling as practised in the 19th and 20th centuries have now been superseded by inorganic substitutes.

Japan needed to get out of whaling for both presentational and economic reasons, but needed a face-saving way not to be seen to back down. It found it, as I always thought it would. Simply, whaling has been continued in and around Japanese waters, within the country’s Exclusive Economic Zone under the Law of the Sea (i.e. extending to c.200 miles out): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exclusive_economic_zone; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exclusive_economic_zone_of_Japan.

Following the September 2018 Florianopolis Declaration where the IWC rejected Japan’s latest commercial hunt proposal, and concluded that the purpose of the IWC is the conservation of whales,[112] Japan withdrew its IWC membership on December 26, 2018. It then resumed commercial hunting in its territorial waters and exclusive economic zone on July 1, 2019, but ceased whaling activities in the Antarctic Ocean.[114][115]” [Wikipedia] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whaling_in_Japan

“...without government subsidies, their whaling industry is not expected to survive.” [Wikipedia]

Though unfortunate for those whales killed within Japan’s EEZ, meaning about 200 minke whales annually, the change of policy does mean that Japan is no longer going to kill whales in the Antarctic and South Pacific, or indeed in the North Pacific outside Japan’s EEZ, though Japan retains the purported right to do so if it wishes.

This is a great step forward for the whales. It has also had other effects. Iceland looks like stopping all whaling now: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/2020/04/commercial-whaling-may-be-over-iceland/

Norway is still whaling, but despite claiming that domestic demand for whale meat (from minke whales) is increasing, the number of whaling ships active in 2020 is only 12 (formerly, 34): https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/sep/03/demand-whale-meat-norway-rising-conservationists-regulations-minke-welfare. Norway exports to Japan, but the increase in intra-EEZ whaling by Japan has led to a surfeit of supply, so is likely to destroy demand for whalemeat brought from Norway.

Mostly a positive picture.

Unusually, I agree with the implication of Jew-Zionist “@Mendelpol” here (as well as with Laura Towler): people should indeed say “Jews” where —and only where— that is both appropriate and true…(though in fact I think that “@thisislaurat” was using the phrase “you people” in a wider way in those tweets).

In any case, I do not suppose that even the most “antisemitic” would claim or complain that everything of importance is controlled by Jews!

A house I leased for a couple of years about 18 years ago had a real conservatory just like that, though maybe two-thirds of the size. Beautiful.

University Challenge

Another Christmas alumni contest. The final one. Wadham, Oxford v. Leeds. Once again I did far better than Wadham’s whole team (inc. Anne McElvoy and Jonathan Freedland), and as well as, maybe better than, Leeds, though the latter were good at science, and I could answer few of those questions; got a few right. Leeds won by a mile over Wadham.

Diary Blog, 13 July 2020

I noticed some tweets by Twitterati using a test or quiz similar to the one below, which indicates (supposedly) one’s political orientation. I have tried such tests previously and obtained similar results, perhaps closer to dead centre.

personalised chart

I disparage the “left/right” usage, really.

If anyone wants to follow in my footsteps: [https://www.politicalcompass.org/analysis2?ec=-5.75&soc=-0.31],try here: https://www.politicalcompass.org/test

This, below, is a similar test, incorporating “social conservatism” v. “wokeness”… http://www.thetakemachine.co.uk/quiz

My result: http://www.thetakemachine.co.uk/quiz/XFUNtk/results

[above: the copy function does not seem to work properly on this graphic; at the top should be written “—social— conservative”, on the bottom “woke”; “left” and “right” on the lateral axis]

So it seems that I am not very “woke”. Quelle surprise…

Jesus H. Christ!

200 migrant-invaders “caught” in just one day and brought to Dover! The untermenschen, having been “caught” in the Channel ( meaning “rescued”, or in reality “escorted”), will now be registered, given accomodation, money etc, and will batten off the British people forever. Whoever supports this is a traitor and should be treated as such.

People still tend to think that the “Conservative” Government and its ministers somehow want to stop the migration-invasion. No they don’t. They are slaves of the Zionist money-power, of ZOG and the New World Order (NWO). They want to import blacks, browns, and others in huge numbers. Wake up, people, for God’s sake! Look at the way Boris-idiot has just now invited as many as four million Hong Kong Chinese to settle on our overcrowded islands…

Well, the “government” of Boris-idiot is now actually reinforcing the misplaced fear in the population by mandating (not yet official, but almost certainly) the muzzling of shoppers as well as travellers. The ridiculous “lockdown” shutdown should have been for a few weeks only, to rub in the message of caution to the population.

This 4+ months of “lockdown”/shutdown is trashing the economy, and that will continue, despite the official lifting of the “lockdown”, because the Government insists on muzzling the population, which makes many people think that they are still in danger from “the virus” despite the fact that most people are in no danger anyway, and never were; the wave has passed now, and there is no compelling evidence that there will be any “second wave”. There may be, there may not be. Probably, there will not be. In any case, most of the most vulnerable in the UK have succumbed already.

The black man [above] is presumably a U.S. citizen. Even so, his belief in the U.S. Constitutional “free speech” rights (as amended by statute and case law) is frighteningly naive (or disingenuous) for someone who, according to his Twitter profile, is a columnist for the New York Times. Reading his tweet, maybe he is just rather stupid.

I am still, though purely nominally, an attorney of the Bar of the State of New York, and have lived and worked in the USA (New York, New Jersey, South Carolina), as well as visited the country for leisure and pleasure (Florida, mainly). The fact is that, yes, in principle and subject to exceptions, you have “free speech” in the USA to a greater degree than exists in the UK or EU. That “free speech”, however, only protects you (to some extent) from arrest and imprisonment; not from other, socio-economic, sanctions or penalties.

It is cold comfort that, in the USA, someone might be —relatively— immune from arrest for holding or expressing the “wrong” views on politics, society, religion, history, but yet might, because of the Jew-Zionist influence, lose his or her job, profession, and so (quite possibly) income, home etc.

As far as the UK and EU are concerned, you have no or very little free speech. My experiences include (but not exclusively) the following: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/ and https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/

In most EU states, expressing the “wrong” view about the Jewish “holocaust” narrative is illegal, actually forbidden by law, just as, in the mediaeval period, expressing the “wrong” (even if accurate or “right”) view about religion, astronomy etc was illegal, and might be punished by death as a capital heresy.

In the EU today, to examine modern history, and to revise the popular or “brainwash” view even in a limited way, is illegal and termed “holocaust” “denial”. A modern heresy law.

The NWO/ZOG nexus has moved from trying to criminalize free speech (though that is still part of the plan, especially in the EU and UK) to making the big moves over the glasses of Champagne (or bowls of chicken soup?) with the aim of simply having huge capitalist enterprises remove “account-holders”, thus “deplatforming” them.

Those “alt-Right” accounts whose holders were making a living from being dissidents have mostly now been removed from most platforms of importance, meaning mainly YouTube, Twitter, Facebook. These platforms are not classical monopolies, but are effective monopolies; quasi-monopolistic enterprises, if you like.

An “account-holder” on Twitter and the rest has no real rights, certainly none qua citizen; only —almost non-existent— consumer or contractual rights.

The joke is that the bulk of the Twitterati, for all their supposed “socialism”, “human rights”, and —in some cases— quasi-revolutionism etc, end up bleating that Twitter, YouTube etc have every right to remove unwelcome dissidents, because those dissidents signed up to get a account in a private-enterprise company, and so signed up to (no doubt Jew-Zionist-drafted) “Terms and Conditions of Service”.

In fact, the pitiful weakness of the “woke”, of the supposed “socialists” etc is made manifest very plainly in respect of this question. Very instructive. It is why the pseudo-socialists have no traction politically, as seen in the 2019 UK General Election. Ideological weakness. You could even call it an ideological vacuum.

The “alt-Right” wastes of space thought that they could both put forward views and make a living online, relying on “free speech rights” and on being doormats for the Jew-Zionist lobby. I suppose that the Breitbart crowd led the way. Paul Joseph Watson etc. “Prison Planet” Watson. He perennially kow-tows to the Jews and Israel, even though many and perhaps most despise him and laugh at him. He still had his YouTube channel removed, and there is nothing he can do about it but beg and plead and stamp the foot.

Katie Hopkins. Similar. Very similar. “Alt-Right” “conservatism”. Pro-Israel. Pro-Jewish lobby. Despised by the Jews, most of them. What happened? Removed from Twitter and, I believe, YouTube.

The lesser “alt-Right” wastes of space went the same way, or are going there. “Sargon of Akkad” etc. Without their “mainstream” online platforms, they are unpersons. The Jews and their “antifa” puppets are laughing. Why? Because they know that “Prison Planet” Watson, Katie Hopkins, “Sargon of Akkad” etc are not going to raise an army to annihilate them. In fact, they are not going to do anything except bleat and stamp feet on the small and uninfluential platforms to which they still have access: GAB, Parler, Telegram, Minds etc.

The reader will get my point readily enough: these “alt-Right” people are men of straw and indeed (in the case of Katie Hopkins and lesser-known ladies) women of straw. Their online “armies” of “followers” will not gather together offline, but will just surf other online accounts. It is hard to escape the conclusion that, in one respect, the Jewish and “antifa” cabal(s) are correct: without those online platforms, these fake “conservative”-“nationalist” people have nothing, and are nothing.

What of “Tommy Robinson”? He, to some extent, has bridged the gap between the online world and the offline “real” world. Yet without his online presence, all that he can command is a loose army (a small one, at that) of drunks and bottle-throwers.

In fact, for what do the “alt-Right” wastes of space stand? Nothing really. Certainly nothing tangible. They are against a few things, such the migration-invasion, the Islamist element, the “Black Lives Matter” nonsense. On all these matters, I stand on their side. The problem resides in the fact that they have no positive ideology.

Not having an ideology is a characteristic of the contemporary political scene in the UK. The “Conservative” Party government of Boris-idiot, Cummings etc has no real ideology, not even the pro-private enterprise quasi-“libertarianism” of Mrs Thatcher and her like.

As for the “Labour” Party, equally misnamed now, can it be said to “have an ideology”? No, unless bleatingly pathetic “wokeness” can be said to constitute one.

A tweet below re. the recently-trending #JewishPrivilege Twitter hashtag from the malicious “CAA” [“Campaign Against Antisemitism”] Jewish pressure group (heavily involved in ZOG activities and especially the devising of false complaints to police and social media organizations):

Condemned out of (((their))) own mouths. “They” want to “regulate” social media, meaning control and censor accounts and content.

The reply tweet below caught my attention

How accurate that is, I mean the assertion that Jews controlled, eventually, much of the transatlantic slave trade, I cannot say, though I have seen (purported) evidence before. It seems plausible. After all, there was big money to be made out of slavery before the British banned it.

I had to correct Julia Hartley-Brewer once on Twitter, some years ago, after the radio loudmouth tried to correct me (a former practising barrister) on a matter of law or legal procedure. I was right; she was wrong. After she realized that she was making herself look stupid, she just gave up and blocked me. So much for her listening to other views (and in that case, my “view” was not an opinion but verifiable and —for anyone knowledgeable— indisputable fact).

Having said the above, she is right on the issue here in question, i.e. the echo-chamber of the “woke” types, something about which I have been writing for years. Julia Hartley-Brewer only just realized? Well, after all, she is a great deal less intelligent, educated and aware than she imagines…Still, at least she agrees with me on something.
