https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11672507/Director-Harry-Meghans-Netflix-series-claims-Palace-tried-discredit-documentary.html

The director of Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries claims Buckingham Palace tried to ‘discredit’ the couple’s bombshell allegations by claiming the filmmakers did not contact the royals for comment.

Liz Garbus, in an interview with Vanity Fair, claims the Palace was contacted about the series, but denied being asked for comment so they could ‘discredit the content of the show’.

The director also revealed it was her idea to use the series as a platform to discuss racism and colonialism.

Ms Garbus, in her Vanity Fair interview published today, revealed exploring issues of racism, colonialism and alleged white supremacy in the British Monarchy was her idea.

‘For me, what was really important was to connect the dots to these larger historical issues,’ she told the magazine, adding that the couple was, ‘to their credit, very open and willing to journey down some of the paths that they might not have originally considered.

The British Army, like the rest of the society, is no longer working properly.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11672241/Man-broke-bouncers-arm-booze-fuelled-pub-brawl-verbally-abusing-women-avoids-jail.html

A man who broke a security guard’s arm in a drunken pub brawl after verbally abusing and throwing cigarettes at a group of women has avoided jail.

Karl McDonald, 35, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today on one count of affray and one count of assault following the fight on July 17, 2021.

Sometimes I wonder exactly what do you have to do now in England to be imprisoned (except murder, or making remarks about Jews, as in the cases of Alison Chabloz and Jez Turner).

I mean, here is someone (and not a silly teenager either, 35 years of age) with several previous convictions for violence, and who started the fight, then continued with it, even breaking the arm of a security guard, and all he has to do is pick up some litter and pay modest compensation (no doubt at a few pounds a week). Not good enough.

Dreams are rarely prophetic; I hope that a dream I had recently will not prove to be the exception that proves the rule.

A large paper calendar mounted on a wall, with the leaves turning fast, as in some of those old Hollywood films of the 1930s and 1940s (was Spellbound like that? I do not recall).

Written in Russian, it stopped at 1 July, the Russian word for “July” above the number “1”.

I had the sense that that was the date of the start of the next great war (though I do not know whether it was a war confined to Europe or not).

It may be nothing, but if not, nothing I can do will change it.

A pretty good assessment from a few months ago, not seen by me until today. In fact, it echoes my own feeling from long before, that the “Harry and Meghan Show” was even then becoming a big bore for most people on both sides of the Atlantic.

As I blogged recently, “the Harry formerly known as Prince” and Meghan Mulatta are one-trick ponies. Once they have exhausted their fund of royal stories and whining, they have literally nothing of interest left to offer the public, either in the UK or USA. Of course, by that time, they will have several hundred million dollars or pounds, but as far as I can see, Harry has burned his boats with his birth family, and particularly with his brother. As for the Mulatta, she cold-shouldered her own birth family long ago, and has nothing to lose.

It has occurred to me previously that “Bootstrap Cook” may be made of the same material as some infamous murderesses. Just my impression.

So the concerns of local people, heritage groups, environmental groups, and a huge number of individual British people (and even some Jews, indeed some Zionist Jews) will be overridden so that Jew-Zionist supremacists and triumphalists can wallow in it all. Look where this horrible “memorial” (propaganda centre) will be— right next to the Palace of Westminster. It says “we own you“.

Actually, look at those promoting it in Parliament. Apart from Jewish MPs and “peers” (such as the fraudster and expenses cheat, “Lord” Dubs), the scheme is promoted by such as Robert Jenrick, that corrupt little bastard who is entirely in the pocket of Jewish property developers, and married —like Keir Starmer— to a Jewish woman, their children being brought up as if fully-Jewish.

As for Sunak, he is just a globalist Indian puppet, who worked for the Goldman Sachs vulture-capitalist finance organization. Take away the Winchester and Oxford education, and there is nothing really “British” about him, even if he was born in the UK.

Incidentally, the architecture of the proposed “memorial” is pretty much as bad as (or indeed worse than) that seen in 1970s Brutalism: multistorey car parks, bus stations, and other excrescences. The architect is some African or other, apparently.

Andy Burnham is the “their” pocket too, a fact that I noticed years ago.

Ecce the self-describing “Left” in the UK. Forget social change, radical structural reform of society and the economy, let alone socio-political “revolution”. No, what matters to those idiots is “racism”, “sexism”, “trans” nonsense, facemask nonsense, and “deplatforming”, from Twitter etc, those with whom they disagree or who see through their silliness.

Rather than take real action for a better society, they prefer to support “grifters” such as “Jack Monroe”, Julia Grace Patterson (the non-practising doctor who sells facemasks etc), Owen Jones, “Femi” (the UK-based Nigerian who has found online “activism” a lot less tiring than getting a job or profession) and others of the same sort.

Those idiots do not demand that the structure of society be changed much; they prefer to applaud a “grifter” who says that a dinner can be created for 11p a head, or a family fed well on £20 a week, or that “our NHS” is the envy of Europe, or that everyone should wear facemasks and/or get down on one knee in sign of fealty to the blacks, or that “refugees” (migrant-invaders) are “welcome” and should be paid for by British families. Not forgetting Greta Nut and her deluded fans.

That way, the self-describing “Left” poseurs can continue to virtue-signal from their comfortable homes in leafy suburbs, or the Cotswolds, or the outside-London Green Belt, and continue to make a good living from well-paid professions, or inherited capital, without having to change their own lifestyles at all.

Any real revolution will come from elsewhere.

In my opinion, tweeter “@Eastenders2004” is almost certainly “Jack Monroe” under one of her many Twitter aliases. Looks like she really has hit the bottle, the cocaine, or the non-prescription painkillers hard today.

“@Eastenders2004” was set up this month, has 0 followers, is following 4 accounts and has tweeted once (and replied 5 times), all about “Jack Monroe”.

Then expose them to David Irving, Savitri Devi, and Henry Williamson, among others.

Do not expose them to co-ordinated and ahistorical propaganda.

Because most people are disinclined to find the moral courage to challenge, even in their own minds, a narrative that comes approved by the mob, or the System, or the msm (cf. WW2 “gas chambers”).

In a couple of years’ time, that deadhead, Lammy, may well be a (real) Cabinet minister, purporting to rule over his betters. As it is, he is not only a member of Lincoln’s Inn (where I am now persona non grata after the Jew-Zionists procured my disbarment in 2016: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/) but even a Bencher of that Inn.

Bandit country…

Terrible though it may be, Russia’s choice in 2023 and 2024 will quite possibly resolve into that of either losing tactically in the south and southeast of Ukraine or of completely destroying the main cities of Ukraine, meaning Kiev, Odessa, and Kharkov, and prioritizing that over the destruction of the Kiev-regime forces in the field.

Whether that will be the opening of a wider war between Russia and NATO is an open question. If so, the UK may be finished in almost every way.

This week I did not do so well: 4/10, same as political journalist John Rentoul. I only knew the answers to questions 2, 4, 9, and 10 (the same ones that John Rentoul got right). I would have got No. 3 —the “Northern tart” question— right too, but I just could not recall it.

From the newspapers

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/jan/20/sajid-javid-calls-for-patients-to-pay-for-gp-and-ae-visits

LIttle pro-Israel monkey-on-a-stick Sajid Javid wants to charge patients for seeing a GP or visiting A&E departments.

He himself is standing down at the next general election. If it becomes widely known that charging for NHS services is the “Conservative” Party direction of travel, the already-anticipated loss of Conservative Party seats might be historically large, even if the NHS is not performing properly at present.

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions“, as we know. The proposed rules no doubt aim at giving the American “poor” a better diet instead of the diabetes-2-tending (and generally unhealthy) one that includes white bread and “American cheese” [a particular kind of processed cheese sold to the public as “Kraft slices” etc: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_cheese].

The particular type of cheese disapproved of includes what is or was called “Government cheese” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government_cheese].

The price, though, is freedom of choice; and the other restrictions, such as “one car per family”, are obviously repressive, though of course in many countries only the wealthier part of the population(s) have even one car. Poverty is relative.

“Bootstrap Cook” has raised only one person out of “poverty”— herself (and quite possibly not even that).

Both true, and that is before you even think about “Bono”, Bob Geldof etc…

As the psychiatrist in one episode of Fawlty Towers remarks, “there’s enough material there for an entire conference“.

More accurately, “it” may be defamatory but, if “true”, is not actionable defamation.

That “@blackwolfski” tweeter is just so typical of those who have a whole fake worldview of “woke”-ism. Akin to wearing a jacket of msm lies: supports “Jack Monroe”, Jacinda Ardern, Labour Party drones etc, and is entirely impervious to any “unapproved” truths. Note the faux-serenity and faux-“concern” of his (fake, “passive-aggressive”) good wishes to tweeter “@scbusiness4”.

Hard to judge to what extent that was so but, if accurate, it sounds like very bad behaviour (to say the least).

Tweeter “@jimellis123” is another very typical “Jack Monroe” supporter-type: the man of 50+ or 60+, retired or unemployed (as it seems), not seemingly poor or “struggling” (except possibly with mental “issues”); socio-politically— narrow-minded. Also, the “passive-aggressive” smugness, as seen in the tweet below:

As some comments say, the defendant will in fact be out in 10 months, and quite likely earlier. The sentence is not really the “nearly two years” of the Daily Mail‘s “reporting”.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11646993/Recruit-numbers-Armed-Forces-fall-30-amid-warning-supporting-Ukraine-makes-weaker.html

Recruit numbers in the UK’s armed forces fall by 30% amid warning that supporting Ukraine in Russia war makes us weaker.

The figures, which indicate Britain’s Armed forces are shrinking at a rate, have emerged after the head of the Army, General Sir Patrick Sanders, warned the country was ‘weaker’ after donating so much equipment to Ukraine.

[Daily Mail].

That is before you factor-in the extra effect of having political nincompoops at the head of affairs, people such as Ben Wallace and, before him, Gavin Williamson: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/05/02/deadhead-mps-an-occasional-series-the-gavin-williamson-story/

While he welcomed the equipment being put to good use to end Russia’s illegal occupation of Ukraine, General Sir Patrick said it could not be denied that the UK’s combat effectiveness would be compromised.

The MOD is coming under increasing pressure to reconsider this commitment due to the conflict in Ukraine and the heightened security threat to the UK posed by Russia, Iran and China.”

This war has been dragging on for a long time already. And now is the time to bring it to a conclusion,” James Cleverly told a Washington thinktank…”

[The Guardian]

Talk of “political nincompoops“… Does James Cleverly really believe that any war against Russia can be brought “to a conclusion“, let alone “a quick conclusion“, with Russia, in effect, losing?

I suppose that that sort of view, based on total ignorance, is what you get when your Foreign Secretary is a half-caste with a “degree” in “Hospitality Management”…

…and, once again, we see that a “Jack Monroe” fan is, again, a lady of a certain age, not (it seems) either “poor” or “struggling”, and (again) willing to tweet loudly without knowing basic facts.

Tweeter “@gillianography”, another typical “Jack Monroe” fan: not “poor“, not “struggling” (and almost certainly a reader of the Guardian), as well as, in her case, (and as she herself says) “neurodivergent nerd“, “brand strategist“, “copywriter“, and supporter of LGBTQXYZ etc.

As blogged previously, not only the “poor” and “struggling” but also the standard “working classes” of yore seem to be entirely absent from the ranks of the “Jack Monroe” supporters, as they sit reading their copies of the Guardian in, as it might be, the Waitrose cafe.

What is the point of…”Jack Monroe”?

There used to be a BBC Radio 4 series called something like What is the Point of…? Ah, here it is…seems to be still running: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01lt45k. Various things, from universities to Formula 1, were, perhaps still are, examined with a view to their utility.

I ask, “What is the point of Jack Monroe?” Not as an individual, but as a minor socio-political phenomenon.

The only “point” I can see for “Jack Monroe”, in that sense, is that nearly a decade ago, she raised the fact that many many people were facing hardship unprecedented since, arguende, the 1940s. So far so good. I was still quite favourable to her, or at least neutral, months or years ago: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/.

In the well-known saying, “when the facts change, so do my opinions” [not the exact words of J.M. Keynes].

Leaving aside the “alleged” fraud and/or “grifting”, what is or has “Jack Monroe” really done to either reduce “poverty” (however defined), or to make it more bearable for “the poor” (however defined)? In my view, not much, if anything.

In my opinion, anyone can say “buy the cheapest food lines from [any supermarket]”, or (such as) “make tuna salad using canned tuna in oil, rather than buying olive oil separately” (I made that tip up myself…maybe I could be “Bootstrap Cook (2)”!).

As for the food produced by “Jack Monroe”, the less said the better, from what I have seen, though some might be acceptable. Many have said, though, that her costings are largely fictional. Again, leaving that aside, does that really help the “poor and struggling”?

Critics (including me) have made the point that to say, “I can feed a family of four for a week on £20” effectively says, by implied —if unintended— subtext, “State benefits are more than adequate“. It may be that four people could live, albeit on the most basic level, on only £20 a week, but food is of course only one expense of that hypothetical family. Heat, communications, water and electricity bills, clothing, transport. Etc.

Looking at how “Jack Monroe” has simply ignored inconvenient facts (such as her £20 shop not including items already purchased and stored), the truth is that she is just not very good at working out anything. Her various food recipes and plans are worthless, really.

As for the (non-existent) “Vimes Boots Index” of inflation, she not only has not produced it but, actually, is not capable of producing it (not with any accuracy, though she may eventually cobble something together in order to fool her hardcore Twitter fans).

Is advice such as “rinse sauce off cheap tinned pasta, replace sauce with something else, then serve” really useful? To anyone? The same goes for “take a tin of sardines, mix it up with rice, or pasta, and curry powder; heat and serve” (my abbreviated versions).

In a Britain where instant fake “celebrity” can make completely ridiculous people famous and wealthy, the “brand” of “Jack Monroe” (as supposed “single mother on State benefits, saving herself and others by clever budgeting and cooking“) gained some resonance around 2012-2013, but now that people know that she has not been “poor” for many years (and possibly never was), the “brand” is surely worthless?

I really cannot now see much point to “Jack Monroe” (the “brand”, that is), and I think that it is telling that, apart from a few idiotic journalists and (possibly) Nigella Lawson, most of the continuing fans of “Jack Monroe” seem to be people with mental problems.

The Harry Formerly Known as Prince

Caught a few minutes of the BBC Radio 4 Today Programme. Some talk about “Harry” and Meghan Mulatta etc. The programme played a short part of an interview with the self-exiled former “royal”. His self-delusion is patent, saying that “the whole world” is waiting to hear from “the Palace” in reply to his accusations.

The idiot obviously thinks that the tawdry soap opera involving him and Meghan Mulatta is centre-stage in the world, whereas in reality it is just a side issue, a kind of entertainment for the masses in the UK and USA etc.

I really think that he has burned his boats now. He has become more or less a ventriliquist’s dummy; when he speaks, 90% of what is said is what the Mulatta wants to have said. Pathetic over-privileged idiot.

Hardly anything is working properly in the UK. That has in fact been the case for years, but now more people are noticing. The System is determined to destroy everything worthwhile, so that a kind of semi-dictatorship (ruling over a mixed-race population) can be instituted. The Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.

“They” must be worming their way back in. (((they))).

“Jack Monroe”

She worked in the NHS for about a year or so as a junior doctor, but now just makes money online by selling stuff and getting donations, tapping into the public concern about the NHS really not working properly. A crazed facemask fanatic too (she made money selling facemasks, and forced her young son to wear one even when walking in the park). Rather unpleasant.

As I have often said previously, never trust a medical doctor who is primarily a socio-political activist.

Keywords? “Swill“, “dog’s dinner“, “inedible”, “horrible-looking“; “unhealthy” etc. My keywords, more direct than those actually used in the above-mentioned review.

I rarely mention my family or living relatives on the blog, but I shall make an exception, pro bono publico.

Both my younger brothers, one in the London area, one in Sydney, Australia, had themselves “vaccinated”, and I think one at least may have been “boosted” at least once if not twice. Neither had previously had heart problems. Both have now had to have heart bypass operations, one being a triple bypass. Both were suddenly afflicted, both had to be taken into hospital urgently (last year).

Both are now OK, but, in my opinion, the events cannot be mere co-incidence, i.e. that they both developed serious heart probems after having been “vaccinated”.

Incidentally, their ways of life and diet are very divergent, one (in the UK) eating a healthy diet, the other an unregenerate old-time Australian one consisting largely of steak and booze, with scarcely a vegetable in sight.

As for me, I refused the “vaccine” several times in 2020-2021, thank God, and have no heart problems; neither (as far as I know) have I had “Covid”, though there was a period of a few weeks last year when I had a terrible flu-type ailment, and difficulty breathing at times. Maybe that was it. I rarely get anything like that, and when I do, it usually goes within a day or two. My only medication, BTW, was the odd Lemsip, with top-grade Manuka honey.

I was just looking at the latest “Jack Monroe” supporters on Twitter:

Much the same as previously: retired or near-retired minor academics, a soft-headed C. of E. vicar, marketing bods, IT bods (mostly retired), “retired HR marketing lady“, “artist“, “retired maths teacher“, “interdisciplinary researcher…lecturer, University of Kent“, “Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing Strategist“, “retired lab technician“, “widower and drum nut“, “Anti-racism. Anti-fascism. Pro LBGTQi. Pro-Choice. He/His. #BLM Fuck TERFs.“, “Francophile“, “Founder + CEO :@CareersWeek |@NCWUganda |@NCWGhana |@NCW_Foundation |@Green__Careers“, “makes films/writes things/proudly dyspraxic“, “Full prof./cis white woman“, “craft, nature, 90s music, musicals, books, chocolate, coffee, mushrooms, proud child/dog mum, mediocre business analyst“, “writer who loves to cook and travel“, “CEO Western Biological Labs in Monterey, but a citizen of the world with a base in UK [probable parody account]”, “Arts reviews, views, and opinions“, “golfer and retired maths teacher“, “Retired Chartered Engineer. ‘Citizen of nowhere’. Probably woke“, “retired company director” [etc].

In other words, mostly people over 50, with many over 60; quite a few rather loony-sounding types as well, but what leaps out is, as far as one can see, a complete absence of anyone young (under 30), an almost-complete absence of anyone under 40, a complete absence of anyone likely to be “poor” or “working class”, and a complete absence, it seems, of anyone from any recognizable ethnic minority.

The conclusion —as when blogged before re. this— is that the “Jack Monroe” supporters are basically “middle-class” virtue-signallers, most of whom probably read the Guardian and/or Observer, most of whom at least think of themselves as well-meaning, and socially conscious, most of whom seriously think that “Labour”-label would be very different from “Conservative”-label.

If I had to guess, I should imagine that most if not all the pro “Jack Monroe” crowd support the UK rejoining the EU, support the Kiev regime of the Jew Zelensky, support the facemask-wearing nonsense, support the toxic “vaccines”, support the “refugees welcome” migration-invasion (and of course they cannot see —or will not see— how mass immigration impacts pay, benefits, NHS, social services, transport, schools, and housing); they no doubt support the “LGBTQXYZ” and “trans” stuff too.

I think that those claiming that they were cheated by “Jack Monroe” should take legal action in the Small Claims Track of the County Court. Limited (or no) liability for costs if not successful, but every chance of success (on the facts as put out on Twitter anyway). Perhaps with damages expressly limited to £1,000. No need to pay out for solicitors and/or Counsel.

It would also ensure much Press coverage, quite likely not very favourable to the so-called “Bootstrap Cook”…

Caveat: now that I am no longer a barrister (see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/), and it having been some 15 years since I was last in court, any “advice” I give (meaning mere opinions and/or observations) must come with a “non-governmental health warning”. Naturally I do not keep up with law and procedure as would a barrister still practising.

I do not expect decent behaviour from the “royal” Mulatta, Meghan Markle. After all, in the old German saying, “put a beggar on a horse and he rides it to death“, but she has at least the excuse, or reason, of her background, arguably. What is the excuse of Harry (the “royal” Cuck)?

Actually, I think that it clear that “Harry” has mental problems, is not very intelligent even apart from that, and is completely dominated by that crazy bitch. He has anyway sold out not only his family (and I am not a royalist) and background, but also his people, their history, their race and culture. In return, he has a quasi-“celebrity” life in another country, and money in vast amounts, so long as he keeps trashing his country and his own family.

Deprive both the Cuck and the Mulatta of their fake or unmerited “titles”, and reduce them to the ranks.

Incredibly, and as of today, “Jack Monroe” is still coining it from no less than 641 utter mugs, via the Patreon website. Could be anywhere between from about £2,000 a month to about £30,000 a month. For nothing. Amazing how gullible many people are.

Surely that cannot be what PR Week thinks so great? Someone getting the public to swallow a load of rubbish (both literally and metaphorically)?

Speaking of “Bootstrap Cook”, here are a few recent tweets by one of the many people cheated by her:

The last tweet relates to the fundraiser set up by that struggling couple not long ago, which has raised, so far, just over 50% of the modest sum sought; it is still open for donations: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/heather-booth-3?utm_term=Gde7678Nq.

Incriminating, on the face of it.

I suppose that it could be simply co-incidental, but…

I am of course not a subscriber to PR Week; if I were (today), I would not be (tomorrow).

I have long been sceptical about the endless ranks of “PR” and “Comms” people in the UK. Now see how hopeless is their own quasi-“professional” or pseudo-professional magazine…

Many people realized, years ago, that Twitter had a rotten core in its employee ranks. I myself had, by 2018, just below 3,000 Twitter “followers”, despite myself only following about 40 or so “accounts”, mostly organizations rather than individuals. The Jew-Zionist troublemakers on Twitter tried, from about 2011, to have my account taken down. Finally, in 2018, it was. Prior to that, every time the follower-count approached 3,000, about 40 followers were taken off, en bloc. By the time I was (in the Twitter weasel word, “suspended” (expelled) in 2018, I should have had about 10,000 “followers”.

Others noticed similar phenomena. Peter HItchens made a joke about it, calling the Twitter employees responsible for reducing his follower-count by a personification he called “Frizelda”. Likewise, Nick Griffin realized that various tricks were being employed to reduce his “reach”: not just by reducing the follower-count but also via shadowbanning etc.

The best thing about Elon Musk buying Twitter is that huge numbers of Twitter employees have been sacked and may suffer hardship if they cannot get new jobs quickly. At any rate, at least they have suffered a shock. Screw them.

So it seems that yet another “conspiracy theory” turns out to be, well, true…

Incredible yet, paradoxically, all too believable

I myself am in two minds as to whether tweeter “@AntheaRogers” is one and the same with “Jack Monroe”/”@BootstrapCook”; I certainly would not be surprised to discover that such is the case.

I wonder though, whether that will happen. After all, if two complete wastes of space are stripped of their “titles”, what other equally pointless wastes of space might not follow them to well-deserved obscurity? Where would it all end? Let us hope that the avalanche starts, anyway…

Just send Elton John on his way, preferably with a kick in the ****.

That would seem to —at least partly— validate the claims of Trump and his supporters that the 2020 US Presidential Election was rigged.

Saturday quiz

Well, this week I again beat political journalist John Rentoul, but only just, scoring 6/10 to his 5/10. I did not know the answers to questions 1, 5, 6, and 7. Amazing that Rentoul apparently did not know where Copacabana is.

The saga of the Royal Mulatta and the Royal Cuck continues

There are rumours that the cover of Harry’s upcoming tell-all memoir about his horrid life as a royal features a picture not just of him, as you’d expect, but Megs, too. The word emasculated comes to mind.

He has become a walk-on part in The Me-Me-Meghan Show, eclipsed by his wife’s ambition.

I never thought I’d say this, but I feel sorry for Harry.

[Amanda Platell, in the Daily Mail: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-11150647/PLATELLS-PEOPLE-believe-Im-saying-feel-sorry-Harry.html].

I do not take more than a passing interest in the activities of the Meghan and Harry show, but it strikes me that the closest facsimile of their relationship might be that of absurd TV cook Fanny Cradock and her long-suffering husband, Johnnie, whom the ghastly woman treated like a particularly abused servant; almost a serf, in fact.

I recall Fanny Cradock on TV when I was a small child, in the early 1960s, and the crazed creature was on British TV occasionally until the mid 1980s.

Fanny and Johnnie Cradock began writing a column under the pen name of “Bon Viveur”[5] which appeared in The Daily Telegraph from 1950 to 1955. This sparked a theatre career, with the pair turning theatres into restaurants. Cradock would cook vast dishes that were served to the audience. They became known for their roast turkey, complete with stuffed head, tail feathers and wings. Complete with French accents, their act was one of a drunken hen-pecked husband and a domineering wife. At this time, they were known as Major and Mrs Cradock.”

“[Johnnie] is best remembered as being the long-suffering stooge for his wife in their popular British cooking programmes which were shown from the 1950s to the 1970s. Wearing a traditional blazer and sporting a monocle, he would remain around the back of Fanny’s studio sets awaiting her imperious commands which, when they came, often resulted in his being berated for being too slow.”

[Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fanny_Cradock; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnnie_Cradock].

The Royal Mulatta has something else in common with Fanny Cradock— an “inventive” memory in recalling her own background and history.

Who would have thought that I would ever agree with Julie Burchill?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-11150581/Julie-Burchill-reveals-refuses-bow-social-justice-warriors-altar-wokeness.html

Sometimes, “a thought out of season” comes to me, the dystopian idea that the present decline of Western society will be ended not with debates or literary disagreements (or rigged elections) but with some kind of multifaceted “Holy War”…

Nordic noirs (literally)

Yesterday, I watched the first episode of a Swedish detective series. Not sure whether I shall bother to watch the rest, mainly because I found it all rather contrived. What struck me, though, was the number of blacks and browns shown. Is that how Sweden really is now, or have the media people exaggerated the proportion (as they have in almost everything shown about the UK)?

On that same theme, the show had a number of (“British”) ad breaks, each with quite a few ads. Every single ad had blacks or half-castes (“mixed-race” persons, if you like) in it. This is pure propaganda. I know that I have been blogging about this evil campaign for a few years now

but we must never allow it to become normalized, certainly not without at least having dissenting voices heard.

As we know, “the pen is mightier than the sword“, but that is precisely why the enemies of freedom of expression try to “cancel” people, and to take away their right to speak or write.

In my case, though “antifa” idiots would probably like to “cancel” even my blog, the cabals who have made repeated and serious efforts to take me down have all in fact been those composed of Jew-Zionists: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/; and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/; and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/01/15/diary-blog-15-january-2022-including-an-outline-of-the-failure-of-the-latest-jew-zionist-attempt-to-prosecute-me/.

I had my Twitter account removed in 2018 by reason of the manipulations of the same Jew-Zionists, really just a quite small handful of individuals plotting together, and presenting themselves as if a large and/or “important” organization (the so-called “Campaign Against Anti-Semitism”, or “CAA”, mainly).

The enemies of civilization are of various kinds. May they all end the same way.

I was tweeting in the same vein (before the Jewish lobby had my Twitter account taken away in 2018) for about 7 years, amid the economic illiteracies of the fake (and disastrous) “austerity” policies promoted by the part-Jews George Osborne and David Cameron-Levita, and supported by the part-Japanese sadist Iain Dunce Duncan Smith. I have, also, been blogging along similar lines since late 2016.

The well-known book The Spirit Level is still worth reading. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Spirit_Level_(book).

If you transfer money to people on low incomes, they spend it (and almost have to spend it), thus stimulating the economy. If you do the same to people on moderate incomes, they will both spend some and invest some, but if you give money to very wealthy people who already have more than enough to satisfy both needs and wants, they will mostly park that money in hedging assets such as real property (and thus drive up the current value of such assets without actually helping the economy).

In essence, that is why it is better to have at least moderate redistribution of wealth.

Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak both seem to believe in some pathetic “trickle-down” economic theory of the 1980s “Reaganomics” kind. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaganomics, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supply-side_economics, and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trickle-down_economics.

So “they voted for Boris“? How truly stupid are those voters?

Liz Truss will say anything, just to win the contest and/or get through the next day, or the next week, just as Boris-idiot does.

Never a word in the msm or on these online comment sites about how a foreigner should never be Prime Minister of this country, even if one of his passports is “British”.

Because both Government and Opposition are pro-“The Great Reset” and “the Great Replacement”, both are riddled with agents of the Jewish lobby, both are pro-ZOG [Zionist Occupation Government], pro-NWO [New World Order] and in favour of the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan, and therefore both following exactly the same agenda. Understand now??

Not sure that I can agree with Hitchens. “Peter Simple”, whose stuff I occasionally saw in the early 1970s, always seemed to me to be a rather unfunny propagandist of a kind of faux-English suburban pseudo-reactionary mindset. Fake. At least, that was my occasional impression, a long time ago.

Ah, useful Wikipedia…https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Wharton: “Wharton was born as Michael Bernhard Nathan, the son of a businessman of German-Jewish origin...”

There are plenty of examples of socio-political madness at present in the Western world, not least the near-worship of the blacks (as in the “BLM” nonsense), and in respect of “the virus”. The former is nonsense partly because much of our present world has been created over the past few thousand years, and especially the past 600 years, by white European people(s). The blacks were and are mere adjuncts, bystanders, spectators, sometimes nuisances and, yes (and as the “BLM” proponents themselves say) sometimes “victims”.

As to the latter of my two examples, i.e. “the virus”, in some respects that seems to be a deeper-embedded sort of madness, perhaps because based on a deeper emotion— fear.

The Coronavirus or Covid-19 virus has (supposedly) so far killed somewhere around 2 million people in the world. That is about one person in every 4,000 people. In the UK, the death toll per unit of population has been far higher (taking the statistics as given, though they are obviously faked or wrong to a great degree). In the UK, there have been well over 60,000 people who have died at least “with” Coronavirus. That is somewhere around one person in every 1,000 people in the UK.

Conclusion as to seriousness: serious but not existentially so.

Conclusion as to measures taken: absolutely mad. Society has been crippled, normal life largely put on hold, civil rights abrogated, and the UK economy facing a very serious hit. A cowed and frightened population have been walking around (even on solitary country walks etc!) in facemasks (despite such masks being of doubtful use), and every kind of busybody and self-appointed guardian of public behaviour given loose rein. That applies also to the police.

Meanwhile, millions of people are all but abandoned by the NHS because their ailments (including the most serious) are priotitized as secondary in importance to the supposed battle against “the virus”.

The public debate, such as there is, is futile, because a huge propaganda campaign has frightened the unthinking mass of the people into imagining that their lives are in danger from this virus, whereas for 999 out of 1,000 people that is simply not so. Reasoned arguments from such as Lord Sumption, the former Law Lord (Supreme Court justice), cut little ice, because emotion almost always trumps reason.

Oh, well. In the phrase of the day, which so well sums up the present apathy and complacency, which applies in almost everything now (apart from the “panicdemic”), “we are where we are”…

Alison Chabloz

On this Easter Sunday, let us not forget brave and persecuted satirist, singer and songwriter, Alison Chabloz, presently sitting in prison because a malicious Jew-Zionist cabal instigated a prosecution under the notoriously flawed Communications Act 2003, s.127.

It is to be hoped that Counsel for Alison Chabloz will soon be able to secure her release on bail pending appeal (to Crown Court) against an egregiously poor verdict and sentence by a magistrate. Unfortunately, that is unlikely to happen (if it does happen) before Tuesday [6 April 2021], at earliest.

That last is interesting as a metaphor. The same view, pretty much, that John Buchan, or Zuleika Dobson, might have seen before the First World War, or that others might have seen between the wars. Oxford now is hugely different (not just in terms of buildings but socially too) from both 1911 and the 1930s world of Evelyn Waugh’s Brideshead Revisited, from that of C.S. Lewis, Tolkien and the Inklings, but that view remains essentially the same.

When I was a (rather belated) law student, in the 1980s, there was being discussed the question of whether barristers would continue to wear wigs and gowns. The wisest answer came from a lecturer who said that the Bar would cast aside everything except the wigs and gowns. The outward forms would remain.

In fact, while the above has proven to be mainly the case (in Crown Courts especially), in County Court the judge has discretion to dispense with the old form of dress, and in High Court and other fora (particularly in commercial cases) the old form of dress is often not in use now (neither is it in family law cases).

Nonetheless, most people do encounter the practising Bar in Crown Courts, and there the old forms remain in force. The substance of the Bar has, however, changed out of all recognition even since I was finally (having spent time in the USA) Called to the Bar in 1991.

Looking at the UK, the same is true in many other ways. Look at, for example, the Monarchy. It looks, at least largely, similar to what it was in, say 1956, the year of my birth. In reality, it has changed to something rather different. As I have blogged on previous occasions, whatever one may think of the Queen and Consort, no-one could mistake them or their lifestyle for that of “ordinary people”.

When you look at Charles, Anne, Andrew, Edward, there is less of the “royal”. You could just about (certainly in the case of the last three) imagine them living in some expensive part of suburbia, as part of (if the term now has any meaning) the rich “middle classes”, or indeed the “nouveaux riches”; or (as indeed is the case) living in Gloucestershire or Surrey, racing around in Range-Rovers, like characters in an “Aga saga”.

What about William and Kate, Harry and the Royal Mulatta? Notionally “royal” (in the case of William and Kate), but only in a “holding on by the fingertips” sense. Certainly there is nothing royal about Harry the “Royal Cuck” and Meghan the “Royal Mulatta” (who, not so many years ago, was actually married to someone else, a Jew businessman in Southern California!).

I do not want to be too hard on Harry. He obviously has emotional or mental problems, and was bagged by the Mulatta easier than the Duke of Edinburgh used to bag grouse, but he is basically now a peripheral nobody, albeit with plenty of money and still holding (so far) a couple of English titles.

William and Kate? At present still lined up to be King and Queen at some point, but I rather doubt that they will reach the finishing post.
