“Jack Monroe”

In any case, “her lawyer” (if any) has not sent a letter (whether “strong“, not so strong, or apocalyptic and written in Hebrew on stone tablets) to Con Party MP Lee Anderson.

Another day, another “Jack Monroe” lie…

“Jack Monroe” is, or has become, a fraudster, basically (and far worse than I thought when I assessed her on the blog at the end of September 2022). Having said that, the non-practising doctor tweeting in support of her, Julia Grace Patterson, is not much better.

The 631 utter mugs still sending her between £3.50 and £44 a month via Patreon will no doubt continue to collude in their own mugging, though…

Can you imagine what the remains of our culture and civilization would look like (and will, unless we take charge soon) if only blacks and mixed-race half-castes were to exist? Think Mogadishu, Haiti, most of Africa, but on a larger urban scale. Just the remains of civilization and greatness, half-reduced to rubble, and the untermenschen crawling over the ruins.

That “Dr Freya Vass” (a teacher of dance, apparently) sounds like a complete loony, like most of the “Jack Monroe” partisans.

The whole long thread about Serebriakova is rather interesting. A feeling of Doctor Zhivago about it.

More seen about “Jack Monroe”

The tweet went the same way as that “Bootstrap Cook” blog post which claimed that she had been “waved through” the police cordon at Grenfell Tower in West London, and (armed with the “building plans“, no less!) more or less took over the rescue etc.

Remarkable for someone who was not, at the time employed by any fire service, or any other emergency service, and who lived about 60 miles from the fire— in Essex, where (for a year or so) she had answered the telephone at a call centre for the Essex fire brigade.

How could she have had the “building plans” for Grenfell Tower? Simply impossible.

That blog post was a remarkable exercise both in fantasy writing, and in trying to create an entirely false story. Some of her fans actually believed it, incredibly.

It emphasizes the psychological (narcissistic) need “Jack Monroe” has for placing herself centre stage. The big story of the time was the Grenfell Tower fire, but that happened 60 miles from Southend, and there was no nexus at all between it and “Jack Monroe”, so she simply invented a scenario in which she was right at the centre of events— striding purposefully through the police cordon to take charge of the emergency. Ludicrous, but some people believed it.

I agree. While one does not expect the editor of The Grocer, Best magazine, or even the Metro, to be particularly aware or intelligent, what can be the excuse of the editors of the Guardian and the Observer?

As blogged before, though, I would be surprised if the msm kept on, for very much longer, promoting the nonsense of the “Bootstrap Cook”, despite her numerous “personal connections” etc.

Diary Blog, 12 January 2023, with thoughts about the NHS, and NHS strikes

Afternoon music

[painting by Jack Vettriano]

On this day a year ago

NHS

As blogged previously, I am all in favour of the NHS principle of “free at point of use”, but the fact is that the NHS, as it is (i.e. not in theory), is simply not working. Not working properly, and scarcely working at all.

It may well be that more money is required, but even now the NHS consumes nearly half the governmental budget (I see 44% as the proportion).

It may well be that nurses should be paid more. What about doctors? I see that GPs are mostly paid over £100,000 a year, some over £200,000, and for a service that is now lamentably poor.

As for hospital doctors, though the most junior (in the first year) receive only about £32,000 p.a., that rises rapidly to over £50,000 and, for consultants and surgeons, well over £100,000.

Ambulancemen (paramedics), (and women), get more than nurses, and do (from what I have seen) a very good job indeed.

As said, nurses and paramedics have a case for wanting more pay, but I cannot see it as morally correct for them to strike, leaving patients without care, even with some kind of skeleton service still running.

As for the NHS generally, it plainly needs to be changed to a service that genuinely puts patients first.

In the past decade, I have seen enough (though not as patient) to convince me that the maladministration in the NHS has to be rooted out. I should say that that is the main problem, not the staff as such, and not money as such.

Few people would want the UK to have an American-style health service, though it also has merits, which I saw when my first wife (an employee of the U.S. Federal Government) needed urgent surgery— and had it within a day or so of being admitted to hospital, and she was admitted the same day that she experienced pain bad enough to seek help. In the UK, that surgery would probably have taken weeks if not months to organize.

Likewise, I recall that my first wife was advised, on another occasion, to get a scan, and was given a choice of five hospitals within a 20-mile radius of home. The same year (1990 or 1991), King’s College Hospital in South London, a major UK teaching hospital, had to have a public appeal to buy a scanning machine, and that appeal ran for several years.

Again, the wife of a friend of mine in New Jersey was paralyzed after a woman driving a car in a supermarket parking lot (at only 5-10 mph) drove into her bicycle. Thanks to being heavily insured, my friend’s wife was able to stay at the Kessler Rehabilitation Center, where the Superman actor, Christopher Reeve, spent time a few years later [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Reeve#Hospitalization]. An excellent “facility”, as Americans say, and in heavily-wooded and peaceful grounds.

Still, the American system, under which about 40%-50% of the population are uninsured or under-insured, is unjust, and not what we in the UK would like to see.

There are, however, alternatives. The French system, for example (which I have also seen a little) seems to be far better than the NHS and, to take just example, has done away with “wards”— patients almost all have their own rooms, or shared rooms, and have done for about 40 years.

A friend in Brittany when I myself lived there (pre-2010) suffered from a heart condition and had already been treated by the NHS. On seeing the French specialist for the first time (taken the 50-mile journey to Brest and 50 miles back by taxi, at State expense, incidentally, rather than having had to drive himself), he was asked what medication he was presently prescribed, and replied. The French consultant raised his eyebrows and said “I think that we can do a little better than that“…

We are often unaware to what extent the NHS rations healthcare; the more advanced techniques and drugs available elsewhere are often not available on the NHS.

What we need is to keep the “free at point of use” principle, but ring-fence an “NHS tax” from income tax, so that those monies are usable solely for and by the NHS, not diverted to “aid” for the Jew Zelensky’s dictatorship, not diverted to other projects or services etc.

Also necessary (to some extent), along with better administration, is attitudinal change in some staff.

The NHS has been accused of ‘wanting less and less’ to do with patients after it advertised a series of remote-only GP roles for £85 an hour.

The work from home job offers general practitioners a three-month contract with the chance ‘to provide online digital consultations’ via video or phone calls to patients, with pay of just under £3,000 a week or almost £13,000 a month.

It comes amid mounting evidence that ‘telemedicine’, while convenient for doctors, can be ‘disastrous’ for some patients.”

Ha ha! Now that really is funny. I think that, out of all the absurd tales made up by (mostly) Jews about the Second World War and the so-called “holocaust” farrago, that is pretty much the best yet.

Your friendly local medical centre is becoming just another “grift”, taking large amounts of money but providing little support.

It’s quite funny, in a bitter way— decades, even centuries, of Irish nationalism have come to exactly nothing, and now even the pathetic Sinn Fein/IRA rump has caved in. Ireland is ruled by globalist puppets (including a half-Indian gay doctor as “Taoiseach”), and is being flooded by blacks and browns.

Should have gone to Specsavers…

Like most System politicians, that one deserves a good kicking.

Very few of that 1M+ believe “Jack Monroe”, or give her any credence.

As a former quasi-celebrity who has had her “15 minutes of fame”, she is pretty much dead in the water, but so long as 631 utter mugs keep sending her money each and every month (between £3.50 and £44 each), she will probably not be too worried that most people have woken up to her nonsense.

You mean the Indian money-juggler posing as Prime Minister?

I have blogged more than once about this. The “Bootstrap Cook” has not launched legal action, and will not. The money she “grifted” from mugs wanting to help her sue Con Party MP, Lee Anderson (and also “alt-lite” commentator Martin Daubney) has been kept by her and my belief (unless I see convincing evidence otherwise) is that she has stolen it.

I also believe that the police should be taking an interest in “Jack Monroe” and her whole range of activities.

Saturday quiz

Well, this week brings another victory over political journalist John Rentoul, trumping his 4/10 with my 7/10. I did not know the answers to questions 6 and 10, and I just could not recall the answer to question 1 even though I “really” knew it.

The “Jack Monroe” juggernaut rolls on

https://www.theguardian.com/society/2023/jan/07/jack-monroe-interview

I suspect that some hurried rewriting had to be done by the Guardian’s scribbler.

That Guardian piece was evidently planned to be part of the launch of Thrifty Kitchen, the latest book by “Jack Monroe” (and at the end has a link via which enables any “mug” unaware of the full “dodginess” of the book and its authoress to buy a copy).

The interviewer mentions “Jack Monroe’s” Patreon “grift” but not the crowdfunder launched by “Jack Monroe”, ostensibly to sue the MP for Ashfield, Lee Anderson, the proceeds of which have gone straight into the bank account of the “Bootstrap Cook”. Certainly no legal action has been launched, not even a “letter before action”, and Ms. Monroe’s favoured solicitor, Israel-based Mark Lewis, has not emerged from his kennel since the Twitterstorm etc around “Jack Monroe” gained strength several months ago.

That Guardian piece gives the impression of sitting uncertainly on the fence after the more recent revelations, neither wholeheartedly endorsing the woman and her book (the recipes from which seem to have been lifted from a number of different Internet sites such as BBC Food), nor making an all-out hatchet attack on her. More the former than the latter, arguably.

The “Bootstrap Cook” is not alone in wanting to join the world of fake “celebrity” while still pretending to “stick up for the poor”. Look at the pseudo-revolutionary and pseudo-Marxist poseur, Owen Jones, who has made a career out of being a kind of “licensed Bolshevik” while still doing fashion shoots for glossy magazines on occasion, attending receptions with the “rich and famous”, and making a rather large income in various ways.

Another? What about Chuka Umunna, the half-caste one-time “Labour” MP, who whined about not being allowed into the VIP area of some louche nightclub?

All fakes.

Notes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuka_Umunna; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owen_Jones; https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/04/a-brief-word-about-owen-jones/.

Of course. “Jack Monroe” might like to ask advice on that from her one-time solicitor, Israel-based Jew-Zionist Mark Lewis, who admitted or claimed a few years ago at the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal (that found him guilty on several charges) that at times he did not know what he was doing because his mind was affected by prescription drugs (etc).

[Update, same day: “Jack Monroe” has swiftly deleted her tweet threatening (making empty threats of) “libel” action].

“Jack Monroe” once again snarling at people and threatening “libel” action. Ha ha!

I should imagine that her lawyer (if any) is well aware that a defamation action, though it has to be be brought within one year, should all the same be brought as expeditiously as possible within that 1-year window. In the case of Lee Anderson and Martin Daubney, the alleged “libel” (in fact the totally true assertion that “Jack Monroe” has made a living off the backs of the genuinely poor) occurred in early May or even April 2022. No libel case will be brought by the “grifter” against Lee Anderson now, in my opinion. Let’s see.

As for stray tweeters or, indeed, me, “Jack Monroe” will be unable to bring legal action successfully (certainly not against me) for a number of reasons, including the fact that I would have a number of arguable defences (including what the English law now terms “Truth”). Also, having no capital and a very low income now, even a successful libel action against me would leave the claimant about £500,000 out of pocket; in reality, no claim could even be launched against me, and I apprehend that the same would be true of many tweeters critical of “Jack Monroe”.

That would tend to explain, if true, where much of the money “earned” by “Jack Monroe” has gone…

Like many liars, “Jack Monroe” ties herself in entangled knots of her own fabrication.

So tweeter “@JanetAnscombe” thinks that “Jack Monroe” cheats her Patreon donors because her life was or is “in chaos“? “Jack Monroe” never seems to fail to take the money, or to set up ways of taking more. Well-organized in that sense, anyway.

Opinions are OK, but should be based on evidence…

I note that, like many “Jack Monroe” fans, “@JanetAnscombe” is (judging from her photo) retired, seems to live comfortably (in Tenerife), and according to her Twitter profile, is “Doctor, ancient historian, “leftie elitist”, mother of chickens, hermit-ish, trauma & neurobiology wonk, Celt, European, MBE.” (and a facemask zealot as well).

So not exactly “poor” or “working class“. Again.

As blogged previously, I have not myself seen even one present “Jack Monroe” fan who is actually poor, or “working class”, or for that matter from any ethnic minority; as I opined yesterday, few of the blacks, browns, Chinese etc would eat the swill that the “Bootstrap Cook” makes or pretends to make.

I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that anyone still defending “Jack Monroe” should not be listened to on any subject…

Ha ha! “@sitebadger”, another “Jack Monroe” defender. Once again, not poor, not someone who claims to have been: “Environmental Manager / planning compliance. BA(Hons) Landscape Design. MSc Conservation Management.”

Rhetorical questions: Where are the poor? Where are the “working class”?

…and of course, another one who “stands with Ukraine” (on Twitter), and is almost certainly a facemask fanatic, like most of the rest.

More “Jack Monroe” lies, in other words.

Surely Ms. Raw is not going to use the money she has raised via GoFundMe for other, or even personal, purposes? She has almost hit her financial target of £15,000 (£13,787 as at time of writing), but no news from her about the supposed upcoming legal action. What a surprise.

Mike Stuchbery (notorious Twitter “grifter”) and Roanna Carleton-Taylor (former “antifa” cheerleader who is now keeping very quiet…) claimed, a few years ago, that they were going to sue “Tommy Robinson”. Raised ~£12,000 for that ostensible purpose. No legal action ensued. I wonder what happened to the money of the 700+ mugs who donated?

Exactly, and the tweeted typo (?), “cause celeb“, is actually —and ironically— more accurate than the correct “cause celebre“.

Indeed. In fact, she has had a good run, bearing in mind the easily-disprovable lies, at times reaching heights of absurdity only achieved by Monty Python, The Goodies, The Good Life, or maybe The Goon Show.

Next? Maybe “Jack Monroe” will turn and turn about, and become a pseudo”Conservative” social commentator with a column in the Daily Mail. Hard to see, but in the madness of the UK in 2023, not actually impossible.

“Jack Monroe” has been mocking her mug donors for years, but usually only in private. Now she does it openly, “telling the truth to shame the Devil” (?).

Still, as of today, no less than 624 utter mugs are still signed up with Patreon to send her between £3.50 and £44 every month! Hard to believe how stupid people can be.

At last! A “poor” or “working class” “Jack Monroe” fan!

Oh no, wait…— “Director: @Air_Cover_PR | #HR PR | ‘James Staunton is a PR faster than Muhammad Ali’ –@guardian. Once part of @InstinctifPtnrs, @wriglesworth and @PwC_UK“…

The absurdity becomes surrealistic…

I suppose that, were Katie Hopkins still scribbling for the Daily Mail, she would be wondering aloud in print how much of the £324,000 she had to pay “Jack Monroe” after the libel action (£24,000 to “Jack Monroe” herself as an award, £300,000 for the legal costs of “Jack Monroe”) went up the nose or down the throat of the “Bootstrap Cook”.

More seriously, I cannot see that “Jack Monroe” offers anything much to the truly poor or struggling. She has some way to go, however, before she reaches the rock-bottom uselessness of other “one-trick-ponies” such as the crazed feminist trustafarian, Caroline Criado-Perez [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caroline_Criado_Perez].

As blogged, most of the supporters of “Jack Monroe” are middle-aged if not elderly. Not sure why. Not all aged lesbians, either. Men of 60+ as well. Why? I do not know; and, as already said, I have yet to see anyone under 40, let alone under 30, supporting her; also, no non-whites (are they too practical when short of cash?). A conundrum.

Just look at that Adrian Hilton idiot! Doesn’t know his **** from his elbow, yet purports to teach at university level [“Adrian Hilton is a conservative academic, theologian, author and educationalist. Meaning because of “them”…

Very true. Worth reading.

Roger Scruton

…and in the middle of the alien crowd, I see the philosopher Roger Scruton, now deceased. “And then there were none“.

A couple of friends of mine in South London were friendly with Scruton, back in the mid/late 1970s. He would arrive by bicycle, in the manner of Cambridge University.

Then a fairly obscure university college lecturer at Birkbeck College (part of the University of London), though already becoming known and communing with the famous and well-connected (including Margaret Thatcher), Scruton later dropped the couple I knew for fear of being associated with them after the popular Press ran a story about how Scruton of the Salisbury Review etc was associating with “fascists” and “neo-Nazis” etc.

In other words, Scruton put career before friendship.

Having said that, Scruton was a considerable figure, sometimes honoured more in the recently ex-socialist states such as the Czech Republic —where I myself once saw a whole bookshop window of Scruton’s works in Czech— than in the UK.

That display was seen by me in Central Prague in 1999; it could not have happened when I had previously been in that city (1988); very few Western visitors were there then, and the works of Scruton (and many others) were banned.

Scruton was born into modest circumstances and, when later both famous and wealthy (as some might say, “box office“, with his high-selling books in multiple translation, and with several income-streams), he took on some of the traditional habits of the English “upper classes”, such as foxhunting, and living in country houses. He also started to take money from tobacco-lobby interests.

[Scruton’s house —2004-2009— near Sperryville, Virginia, USA]

Scruton (whom I myself never met) strikes me as having been, like many, perhaps most people, a blend of the highminded and tawdry, of the original and the very derivative, of the highly ethical and the morally-suspect.

A hugely-talented man, in any event. One could say, without it being too much of a cliché, “a Renaissance man“.

Perhaps better remembered in his works than in himself.

Perhaps the (at time of writing) 643 utter “mugs”, each presently donating between £3.50 and £44, and every month, might start to wake up if they saw the total income (from that source alone) of “Jack Monroe”, the so-called “Bootstrap Cook”. Somewhere between a few thousand pounds and tens of thousands, monthly.

Criminal?” My idea of “criminal” is pleading poverty or (when, e.g., Tiffany earrings are noticed by alert readers) near-poverty, in order to induce people to donate thousands of pounds monthly to a private bank account, while never or rarely providing the goods and services offered, and (it is said by many) never having intended to perform; or crowdfunding in order to fund a defamation case, with no real intent to launch such a case, and later (it is alleged by many, at any rate) keeping the donated monies for private purposes.

This will only be clarified if, or when, police and/or trading standards officers and/or various regulators properly investigate the activities of “Jack Monroe”, the “Bootstrap Cook”.

It cannot be denied that this conflict started in 2014, not in 2022.

The Zelensky regime in Kiev wants NATO to weigh in on the Kiev-regime side. If that were to happen even more blatantly than is presently the case, a nuclear exchange between NATO (NWO/ZOG) and Russia will be only a matter of time.

I cannot say whether the above is a genuine cause or not; probably it is. In any case, the true cost of war is the suffering of both human beings and their companion animals.

It is bad that Ukraine, whatever the reasons, is a theatre of war. Let us make sure that the rest of Europe is not dragged into a worse, and greater, war.

There we have it. Lisa Nandy proclaiming the gospel of the most extreme “trans” nonsense. Naturally. After all, she is one of the principal NWO/ZOG puppets in the UK Labour Party. Pro-mass immgration (the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan) and the migration-invasion, pro “the Great Reset” and “the Great Replacement”, the most extreme “Covid” “measures” etc etc. The “trans” nonsense is all part of that, destructive to the structure of society, destructive even to logic. All part of the strategy.

The above is a reply from “Jack Monroe”, “Bootstrap Cook”, to yet another naive supporter. It has been claimed (with, in my opinion, much evidence to back it up) that “Jack Monroe has a well-used line of defences when accused of cheating people, “scamming” money etc. One is to claim that she is afraid of being attacked, another is to use her still-young son as a reason to be afraid (i.e. that he will somehow be attacked), another is to use mental health or whatever as a reason not to address what seems to me to be the clear evidence of “grifting” amounting to near-fraud. I think that the police should be investigating the claims.

The threat above continues below:

…yet “Jack Monroe” still has 643 utter mugs each sending her between £3.50 and £44 every month. Thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of pounds per month.

That refers to the crowdfunder set up in May 2022 by “Jack Monroe”, ostensibly to sue MP Lee Anderson [Con., Ashfield]. She told all the newspapers that she had “instructed” a solicitor, though that may well have been a lie; newspapers carried the story on 15-16 May 2022, but there has been no news since, and the accusation is that she has simply used whatever was raised for her own purposes. Certainly she has not attempted to address those and other concerns people have about her money-grubbing and alleged frauds or near-frauds.

Lee Anderson and Martin Daubney, the supposed targets of the apparently non-existent defamation action, say that they have never heard from either the “Bootstrap Cook” or her solicitor (if any).

“Jack Monroe” maintains a number of Twitter “sock accounts” with which she engages critics while pretending to be [whoever].

Ha. The half-Jewish Nigella Lawson operates on a far higher financial level than “Jack Monroe”, and certainly has no need to cheat her readers or viewers out of money. She seems, though, to have been taken in by “Jack Monroe’s” whole “poverty campaigner” act, and has endorsed her, though that was years or a number of months ago. I expect that Nigella Lawson is now trying to quietly drop “Jack Monroe”, just like several naive msm editors.

[Correction, 20 May 2023: in fact, I now realize that NIgella Lawson is not half-Jewish, but full-Jew. My mistake].

Ah, yes, I remember seeing that greasy little Jew on TV a decade ago, before he was caught out, after which he played the “mental health”/”rehab” card.

Oddly enough, despite being a Jew descended from two racially-Jewish parents, he has apparently espoused Roman Catholicism: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooks_Newmark. Still, that preference has not prevented him from exercising greed (a mortal sin in Catholicism) on a massive scale (cf. “Bono” of the U2 popular music group).

Hull v. York. Another alumni contest.

The winning team, Hull, was perhaps a cut above the others seen recently; after all, this was a semi-final. Still fairly poor, though, and once again I think that I can claim to have beaten both teams fairly easily, possibly slightly less easily than in previous days.

Paxman should not let these alumni teams confer at length. 8-10 seconds max.

It’s quite funny: many people say that Rishi Sunak is “really” British, because born in the UK, possessing a British passport, and having been educated at Winchester. In reality, his origins are ingrained, as they are with all of us. Nurture builds on Nature. Thus we see Sunak acting as an Indian Prime Minister in India would act, handing out perks to his cronies and senior employees.

The slide to nuclear conflict is obvious, despite the protestations on both sides to the contrary.

Is that (the £8.4M) true? If so, how?

Liz Truss graduated from university in 1996. After that, she worked for Shell for not more than 4 years, until 2000. Her position was just a low-grade graduate-entry one, during which employment she also qualified as a management accountant; she left in 2000 to join Cable and Wireless, and was there for 4-5 years, but although she did eventually get appointed Economic Director, she was only at that level for a year or two at most.

Liz Truss was also Deputy Director of the Reform think-tank for a year or so (2008/2009).

After having won a House of Commons seat in 2010, Liz Truss was a backbench MP for 2 years, and gained minor preferment 2012-2014, joining Cabinet in 2016. She was, therefore, a Cabinet minister for 6 years until she became Prime Minister in 2022 for the notoriously and historically-short period of 44 disastrous days.

So from where does the £8.4M come? Surely not from her family, who though not poor were employed persons (father an academic, mother a schoolteacher); I have not heard tell of any considerable family money.

As for Truss’s long-suffering husband, he is a chartered accountant, so again, while not poor, scarcely living in great opulence amid heavy wealth.

Liz Truss cannot have begun to make more than a modest salary until about 2004, had 2-3 years out of employment (she has two children, and also took time out for reasons of political careerism etc) until 2008, and she ceased to be employed (prior to becoming an MP) in 2009 or early 2010. In other words, she probably only had ~4 years of relatively high earning.

A Cabinet minister and MP is paid a total of around £160,000 (plus expenses), but the £160K is taxed, and she was only earning that for 6 years.

The mystery or puzzle remains: if Liz Truss really does have assets of £8.4M (even if you include those of her husband) from where did the money come?

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liz_Truss#Professional_career.

Ha ha! Look at the “selection process” for MPs. They are often selected either because they know the right people and/or went to school with them, or worked with them previously in some way; or they are selected because they have paper “qualifications” which look good but in reality are not worth a hill of beans.

For example, “Oxford degree” (which these days is scarcely worth squat, and 94% of them are now either “Firsts” or “upper seconds”).

Many MPs (refer to, e.g., my “Deadhead MPs” series on the blog) also more or less invent a fake CV— fake or embellished academics, non-existent private business “successes” (e.g. companies that were set up, but which actually made no money), worthless business or other qualifications and/or “letters after the name”, such as meaningless “doctorates”, or a couple of years at the bottom level of the Bar, or even membership of bodies such as the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), etc.

All of the above, plus an air of confidence, easily impresses provincial selection committees.

Even those MPs exposed (later, after having been selected and then “elected”) usually manage to shrug off their dishonesty. Look at Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, an egregious example. Invented or hugely embellished his education (rock-bottom poor at secondary level, and then made up a fake degree from an Italian university he never actually attended; also turned a corporate in-house course lasting 2 weeks into a “management diploma”). Then his embellishment of a very underwhelming military career. And so on.

The fact is that Liz Truss is only one of very many MPs who are, in reality, mediocre or worse, and have been right from the start.

The world is not without kind people” [Russian proverb].

I certainly agree with that. This ghastly mess should never have happened as it has developed. The Russian High Command and GRU should have eliminated the Jew Zelensky —and his corrupt and dictatorial coterie— before (just before) launching an all-out and swift advance, including mass paratroop landings, on Kiev. One single and massive knockout blow for the sake of mercy, to save the civilian population from attack and misery, and to achieve the main objective before the NWO/ZOG support from USA etc could be mobilized.

The human cost (in Russia as well as in Ukraine) has been terrible: see tweet below

Saint-Just said that “no-one can rule guiltlessly“, but a leader must always be aware of the hurt even the most necessary actions entail. The human cost of war is terrible.

May be true. The Western msm is concealing other Kiev-regime war crimes (eg field-execution of Russians captured in battle or otherwise).

Radio loudmouth James O’Brien, one of the least pleasant msm drones. A rather ignorant person, posing as erudite and principled.

As blogged previously, my opinion of “Jack Monroe” has gone from mildly supportive (several years ago) to slightly critical (see my blog post of three months ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/) to very critical (now).

As for “her lawyer“, well that is or was the egregious Mark Lewis, now resident in Israel: see, e.g. https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/11/update-re-mark-lewis-lawyer-questions-are-raised/.

The case in which Mark Lewis acted for “Jack Monroe”, as her solicitor (I believe that he instructed both leading and junior Counsel who appeared in court as her advocates) was a not-very-difficult defamation action against social commentator Katie Hopkins: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monroe_v_Hopkins.

Ms. Hopkins had to sell her house to cover not the award made (only £24,000) but the c.£300,000 legal costs, being mainly those of the claimant (“plaintiff“, as was): see https://www.devonlive.com/news/property/katie-hopkins-luxury-devon-home-1526502.

I am not sure that I believe that “Bootstrap Cook” now has a lawyer, as such, but we shall see. She threatened to sue MP Lee Anderson [Con, Ashfield], and Martin Daubney, “alt-right” (?) political commentator, but that was in mid-May this year, seven months ago. In theory, “Jack Monroe” has time, until early to mid-May 2023, in which to issue proceedings, but the courts may not take kindly to issuance which is only just in time, and so far no preliminary correspondence has been received (I read), so it is unlikely that any action will now take place.

Once again, watched a heat of the pre-Christmas alumni contest, this time the School of Oriental and African Studies [SOAS], London University, against Balliol College, Oxford.

I think that I recognized only one player, the Daily Telegraph journalist/commentator, Sherelle Jacobs [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherelle_Jacobs].

As I expected, Balliol won easily but, to be frank, were no better than mediocre. As for SOAS, the oft-seen term “OMG!” is what comes to mind. One half-caste-looking youngish woman whose name I cannot now recall (she apparently specializes in “racism”…wouldn’t you know?…) actually thought that Mozart was still alive in 1976! There were several other absurdities almost as incredible from her and the other SOAS alumni. Almost unbelievable, even for a cynic (reluctant cynic) such as me.

Once again, a “mug” imagining that “Jack Monroe” somehow “helps” the “vulnerable” by having 643 other mugs pay her between £3.50 and £44 a month into her personal bank account(s).

True up to a point. I spent time in Poland and (to a very limited extent) elsewhere in the East of Europe in 1988 and 1989. Unfortunately, many people in Eastern Europe and Russia, after 1989, found that they had just exchanged one big boss-tyrant (the socialist State) for lots of little bosses (finance-capitalists).

The idea that a sovereign state is like an ordinary person, and its finances like those of Mrs. Thatcher’s “housewife’s shopping basket” is absurd yet now ingrained in the public mind.

To suggest, as Carl Benjamin/”Sargon of Akkad” does, that the solution is something as trivial as corporal punishment (even assuming that the untermenschen are actually identified, charged, prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced) is a typical “Conservative-nationalist” or semi-nationalist “libertarian” non-solution.

He has a point. Major utilities (water, electricity, gas etc) and railways should, in general, be under public control. Oil companies might be more difficult, but had Britain, from the 1970s onward, done what Norway did, and used North Sea oil and gas for national purposes, we would all be better off now.

Very true. I have blogged a few times about how uncertain life can be, especially for those without much back-up by way of family money or inherited capital: see, eg, https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/08/25/diary-blog-25-august-2022-with-a-few-thoughts-about-poverty-and-living-through-hard-times/.

Jack Monroe/”Bootstrap Cook” latest

As far as I myself am concerned, I blog as accurately as I can about people, if individuals are mentioned. My material is true in the sense of accurate, and/or is covered by one or another of the several defences to libel known to law; besides which, I am extremely impecunious these days, have only the smallest income, do not own a house (even mortgaged) and so am, in effect, as good as unsueable.

I can guarantee that anyone launching an action against me will lose out: probably the action would fail anyway, and even if it did not, the claimant would end up with massive and completely irrecoverable costs.

I write whatever I like, but take care to be both accurate and fair.

On Twitter, every Tom, Dick, and Harry is an “expert” on the law, and especially defamation law; few really are.

It’s pretty obvious that there is enough suspicion to validate a police fraud investigation, to discover whether any crimes have been committed.

The brainwashing taking place in UK schools (mainly but not entirely in State-run schools) is indeed appalling. It has been going on for several decades, but has been intensifying. At the same time, standards of real education and knowledge have been falling.

While some people compare the situation in the UK to the Weimar Republic, that unpleasant and decadent time in German history lasted for only 14 years (1919 to 1933), whereas the UK version has been happening for a far longer period, at least 30 years, and arguably over 50 years.

Not that I like Churchill’s effect on British history (in particular, the crazy war against the German Reich, which destroyed the British Empire and all other European empires, and created the mess the world is in today), but he is undeniably a major historical figure, and I should not like to see the statue in question removed.

Jews always talk about “members of their family“, or even “relatives” supposedly being killed during WW2. Even leaving aside the main assertion, since when are people who (supposedly) died about 80 years ago called “relatives” of quite young people now living?

As for the young or other people now living being (pretending to be) hugely upset by the (presumed) deaths of people whom they never knew anyway, it really is so much bs. Non-Jews, especially white European people, don’t usually (in fact hardly ever) do that.

I must investigate having my old Twitter account returned (complete with new blue tick), both to promote my blog and to mightily p*** off (((the usual suspects))), who put in years of effort making faked complaints to get me expelled in 2018.

Saturday quiz

Well, this week a fairly easy win over political journalist John Rentoul. He scored, as he puts it, “two and a half” out of 10 (2/10); I trumped that with 5/10.

I did not know the answers to questions 3, 5, 7, and 9, and I award myself also null points for question 1 (I knew that it was a rodent, but could not think of the name; looking at his tweets, seems that John Rentoul was in the same position but awarded himself half a point anyway).

Jack Monroe, the “Bootstrap Cook”

Many have now read my assessment of “Jack Monroe”, aka the “Bootstrap Cook”. See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/, and the very critical profiles penned by others (see my assessment and other recent blog posts for details).

Part of the criticism is that the “Bootstrap Cook” takes monies on the Patreon website while not fulfilling her promises to supply various goods and services to the donors. She is said to make between £2,500 and £6,650 a month in cash (minus website fees) from regular Patreon donations (from 665 regular donors as of today).

That is in addition to a number of other income streams, such as book royalties, paid appearances etc. I presume child benefit/support as well.

The “Bootstrap Cook” is also said to have crowdfunded for monies with which to sue Lee Anderson MP and political commentator Martin Daubney in defamation, (and to have kept and/or spent those monies on herself or her lifestyle). Certainly no libel action has been launched as yet (6 months after threatening tweets by her to that effect).

I happened to see news of the current legal process and expected trial of a black woman “activist” in Bristol, which I shall not comment on substantively at this time: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11417065/BLM-organiser-helped-run-demo-toppled-Edward-Colstons-statue-charged-fraud.html.

I presume that, if the matter proceeds beyond the first “mags” appearance in January 2023, that it will go to the Crown Court.

Not sure that I would call someone whose income is £125,000 per year pre-tax, “wealthy“. “Affluent“, maybe. “Much better off than me” certainly, especially after my past decade of “hard-up-ness” and struggle. However, I am not at all sympathetic to people on such a comfortable level of income, looking at the poverty and near-poverty around.

The Conservative Party and Government is useless on the cross-Channel migration-invasion question, but this is mad: how can it be a “solution” to immigration, including the Channel invasion, simply to let almost all of the blacks and browns in “legally”?! That is not a “solution” but another word beginning with “s”— surrender.

I suppose that what the decadent, declining British people (voters) want is not to have to read about the invasion, or see it on TV news.

So long as it takes place fairly quietly, with British towns and cities relatively slowly changing their character with the expanding population of non-whites, many decadent British bien-pensant types will applaud it, and even the less-invested people might accept it, then return to their TV sets, on which they can watch “British” non-white sports teams, watch TV ads where a white family is a rarity in dramas and ads, and so on.

In fact, this is all part of the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan, the “great replacement” of whites by non-whites throughout Europe. A giant conspiracy by transnational exploiters and evil-doers.

From the simple UK political point of view though, it is clear that the Conservative Party is toast now, and no amount of “spin” from Indian supposed “clever boy” and money-juggler, Sunak, will save it.

What is the agenda behind the agenda?

[Bohemian Grove ritual, Northern California]

Thank you, General.

Idiots like that Question Time woman are everywhere on TV etc (less so in real life, though still often found), and are the very gravediggers of our country, and of our whole culture and civilization.

Most “Covid” “cases” are little different than cases of mild colds or influenza anyway. The whole “panicdemic” hysteria was and (to the extent that it still exists) is mad, like one of the Alice in Wonderland situations.

There is a conspiracy of silence in the mass media about this.

Just one example of the crazed “woke” nonsense that has taken over police forces, local authorities, charities etc across the country.

Not that I in any way “supported” the odd little East German state, the DDR, at the time when I saw it (for a couple of days only) in 1988. It had its points (like Cuba) but (also like Cuba) not many…

I recall being driven across the East-West German frontier, in the very south of the DDR, on a sunny afternoon in 1988. A little-used crossing-point.

Border guards, some with automatic weapons. A careful document-check.

The car was almost dismantled, the seats taken out, other areas examined minutely, and a little wheeled mirror used to look under the vehicle (as they used to do at checkpoints in Northern Ireland in the 1970s). Then the seats etc were expertly put back and screwed down, all items previously removed put back into the car, and off we drove. I think that it took an hour or so.

There was not even one other car crossing. There was then a kind of no-man’s land (I think still officially DDR territory), complete with (on both sides) strips of raked sand, high razor wire and, in the middle distance, a huge concrete watch-tower akin to a water-tower or airfield control-tower, from which we were no doubt being scrutinized through powerful binoculars or telescopes. Three barriers in all, I think. Then just open country for a little while.

The West German side was less formal, one man in a little sentry box.

I read that, now that the border is no more, that once-mined and guarded strip is an important conservation zone for animals and birds, a kind of nature reserve. Funny how things change.

A report about a spy case involving the British Embassy in Berlin.

According to the journalist who wrote that report, one Emily Pennink [https://uk.linkedin.com/in/emily-pennink-33aa6527],

After the Cold War officially ended in 1991, hopes of a warmer co-existence with Russia were gradually snuffed out, culminating in the invasion of Ukraine this year – the first war in Europe since the Second World War.”]

[Evening Standard].

What?! “...the first war in Europe since the Second World War“? What was the Yugoslavian conflict of the 1990s, then? A little localized disagreement? What about the bloody American bombings of Serbia? What were they? Not a war? Just a “police action“, as the Russians now say of Ukraine?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yugoslav_Wars; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_bombing_of_Yugoslavia; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_bombing_of_Yugoslavia#Aftermath.

Just as MPs are now generally of very poor quality, so are many who scribble in the newspapers. I should not like to be accused of “bias” by pointing out that many such persons are called Justin, Toby, Allegra or, indeed, Emily, but the fact remains, leaving aside their often-twee names, that many are rather ignorant and also, not infrequently, only semi-literate, despite all having gone to some university or other, and/or having diplomas in journalism.

That journalist might like to note that the coldness that has developed between Russia and the West in the past 20 years has been created, mainly, by both NATO expansionism and, also, the sheer exploitation of Russia by Western interests (and/or Jews) during the 1990s Yeltsin period— and since then as well.

Incidentally, that journalist, Emily Pennink, is no recent graduate, or trainee; she has been a journalist for some 21 years.

I had better not be too rude about her Evening Standard report— she is a black belt —3rd Dan— in karate!

Ah…just looked at her Twitter output: retweeting such as the malicious Jewish “Hope not Hate” snoop organization…

So “Jack Monroe” claims that she turned up at the Grenfell Fire scene, and then was simply “waved through the police cordon” by a policeman?! That has to be not only untrue but absolutely absurdly so. Did she show her long-expired ID showing her to have been someone who once answered the telephone at some Essex fire station? As an assertion, that is not even slightly plausible.

Yet the “Bootstrap Cook” has her (usually unthinking) supporters, such as one “Jaimi Shrive”, who admits that she knows basically nothing about “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook”, yet is willing to insult those public-spirited people such as “@AwfullyMolly”, who have exposed the apparent fakery and, frankly, “grifting” and near-fraud around the subject and by the subject:

The above individual admits that she really knows nothing about the subject in hand, but (perhaps typically of such people) that will not prevent her from having a firm opinion about it!

You would think that someone purporting to hold a quasi-professional position (looking at the Twitter profile) would not make herself look so silly, but there it is…

Just looking at her other tweets: they are silly, pointless. Not worth looking at again.

Many of the hard-core Jack Monroe zealots seem to be of the LGBTQXYZ coterie. As I said in my assessment published 6 weeks ago, few if any are “poor” or “struggling”. It’s a kind of cult.

The UK is full of these pseudo-professional people and organizations, some of which are outright frauds. In the case of “Jaimi Shrive”, who may or may not actually exist as a real person, her illiterate, stupid and pointless tweets destroy any attempt at credibility].

I might not agree with everything said or done by Jamie Oliver, but I think that he means well most of the time, and he is at least a genuine chef, not someone who calls “themselves” “chef” or at least “cook“, but whose idea of edible food is a few tins of fish, beans, and fruit mixed together, or some other dog’s dinner of a “Mahashma Gandhi”.

I have to admit that I am at least tending to that view myself now.

I have to say that, apart from the thing itself, what I find disturbing is that supposedly “serious” newspapers such as the Guardian and Observer, and numerous journalists from other newspapers, TV etc, have not bothered to seek out the truth, but just accepted the contrived “legend” as genuine, on the nod. The same is true of a few MPs, such as Debbie Abrahams [Lab. Oldham East and Saddleworth https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debbie_Abrahams]

I do not watch the show, and for me the best entertainment would be if a natural disaster were to happen and they all had to scrabble for their lives for real. I might watch that.

Why is anyone even interested in the views of this individual?

Either stupid and naive, or a stupid racemixing “ho”. Maybe which one she is depends on how much alcohol, or what drugs, she has ingested at any given time.
