Brave words, yet J.K. I was sentenced, as noted on those blog posts above, about 18 months ago. My financial penalty (ยฃ735 altogether) was one-third crowdfunded by a few generous donors, the rest paid off in several monthly instalments.
My “9-month community order” (nominally “15 rehabilitation days” over the 9 months) amounted in fact to half a dozen or so brief meetings over about 5 months, and with a rather charming young lady from the Probation Service.
Average length of meeting was about 40 minutes; one, I think the first one, was a couple of hours, most were far shorter than 40 minutes (one was about 15 mins). General chat mixed in with a bit of armchair psychology. Naturally, such methods are designed for people (often drunks or drug abusers) convicted of bashing their noisy neighbours, or of having “had it away” with a trolley full of supermarket produce, not for someone accused of having made politically-disapproved-of statements…
In the end, my “probation” (to use the older term) was cut short for reasons that were never explained. I presume that the probation people are swamped by real crime as society slides to destruction, and thus decided that it was pointless (as it was, of course) to have me coming in every few weeks for half an hour.
The free speech trial was held in November 2023, nearly 2 years ago. Sentencing was in mid-March 2024. My last “probation” meeting was in early September 2024, so already over a year ago. It already seems as if it happened years ago.
The aim of the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, via its self-styled “Director of Investigations and Enforcement”, one “Slitherman” (shall we call him?), who attended both trial and sentencing, and whom I publicly named and shamed in open court, was to stop publication of this blog by having me prosecuted by a compliant police “farce” and the “Clown” Prosecution Service. That attempt to gag me failed. The blog continued to be published throughout the prosecution, trial, and sentencing process, even on the days of trial; it continued to be published throughout the ~5 month period of “probation” in 2024, and has continued to appear on a near-daily basis since then.

There are some parts of society and economy unsuitable for private enterprise: water, energy production and supply, railways in the modern era among them. A salutary tale, and one which I have just reread, this time also reading many of the readers’ comments. Some had had similar experiences.
I was reminded, reading all that, of an experience of my own.
Over twenty years ago (how time flies in this world when one is no longer young), I was invited, with my wife, to the wedding of a friend, and former teacher at a language school where I had been a part-time student in the early 1980s.
I had become very friendly in the late 1980s and early 1990s with Ig, a noted translator of Dostoyevsky; Ig was divorced (from decades before) and lived in a semi-detached house with a large garden, in North Finchley (London outskirts).
Ig worked at a language school near Warren Street, in Central London, an institute where most of the Russian-language faculty were exiles of one sort or another. He himself had been born in Latvia between the world wars; when he was 14, his family fled to Germany, at the end of WW2, and as the Red Army advanced from the East. They had then settled in the UK.
I sometimes enjoyed a drink, and occasionally a curry in Drummond Street (also near Warren Street), with Ig and one or other of his friends, such as “Uncle John”, a divorced fellow whose wife, Alla from Leningrad, was another language teacher of mine at one time, or with Guy Churchill, a pleasant retiree and one-time SAS soldier (during the Malayan Emergency of the 1950s), who had the odd habit (never seen before or since) of breaking the filter tips off his cigarettes before smoking them.
Ig was rather eccentric, and sometimes did things which were very surreal, as when he took me, for no obvious reason, to have tea with the writer, Doris Lessing [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Lessing], at a cafe-bar near the language school. A strange, awkward, rather Kafkaesque experience.
It never occurred to me that Ig, not far off retirement age, might remarry and so compromise his bachelor life of Russo-Soviet culture, beer, and collecting railway clocks (several were in the main room of his house). I was therefore surprised to be invited to his wedding, at a Register Office somewhere on the extension of Edgware Road, far up that road, maybe near Brent Cross (I cannot now exactly recall).
My wife and I attended the short ceremony, and met the bride. She was Russian but had been resident in Latvia, where Ig had met her (not sure where or how; possibly at a bus stop or the like). She was supposedly mid-twenties (my wife thought older), and looked a bit lost amid Ig’s rather grey-haired friends, who included a couple of occasional teachers of mine at that language school, one being a one-time Army linguist (and keeper of goats), another being Gerald Brooke, who had spent 4 years in prison near Moscow before being swapped for the Krogers: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Brooke; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_Cohen_(spy); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lona_Cohen.
That was the wedding. Some time later, Ig asked me to take his new wife to lunch at Lincoln’s Inn. She was friendly, pleasant, and told me that she had a law degree from Latvia, maybe Riga.
Scroll forward. My wife and I took on the lease of a large country house, one of the largest in North Cornwall.
We invited Ig and his wife to stay for the weekend. They arrived, but right from the start there was something wrong. For one thing, in a cold autumn, Ig’s wife came in a short dress, no coat, no gloves, perhaps unaware of how cold a large English country house can be, despite large fuel bills (one January, I spent nearly ยฃ700 on oil alone; plus coal and firewood. ยฃ700, in one month, 20 years ago).
Ig’s wife was actually quite rude from the start, not at all friendly to my wife, treated her like a serf, did not offer any help or whatever (we had the big house, but not any domestic staff as such), and just seemed to be sulking constantly. We assumed that the ill-matched couple had had a spat on the way down.
Anyway, after a weekend which —without going into great detail— tested my wife’s patience to the hilt, and when the pair were almost ready to go home, my wife thought to take some extra towels to their room (the house had originally had 26 bedrooms). She saw that Ig’s new wife’s suitcase was open on the bed; on top of the contents, a silk scarf belong to my wife, from Hermes. Ig’s wife had actually stolen the silk scarf (and other items, including bottles of scent) and placed them in her suitcase. The item were retrieved, and a diplomatic way found to raise the matter with the guest/thief.
Not an entirely successful weekend.
After that, I received calls from Ig’s Russian friends, begging me to think of a way to “save him from that stupid girl, who knows nothing but films and fashion“.
In fact, Ig did try to divorce her, after he overheard her talking to her mother in Riga, and the pair plotting to divorce him and so get half of his quite valuable house. In the end, the divorce never happened, despite preliminary court hearings.
Ig was prevailed upon to change his mind and, looking at that Guardian obit, they seem to have remained married until his death some 11 years later. I hope that the woman was not unkind to Ig in his last years, because he was a good fellow, but I never saw him after the disastrous weekend, and only spoke to him a couple of times when (maybe at her instigation) he wanted to bring her down again to Cornwall. I could not put my wife through that sort of nonsense again, though.
I presume that that woman got his house, I believe worth (in 2013) about ยฃ800,000 (and I suppose worth twice that much now), and other financial benefits.
However, not all Russians, Ukrainians etc can be tarred with the same brush. For example, I knew one girl (from Kiev) who was offered marriage by a British diplomat (who became an ambassador only about 2 years later) but refused him.
Many Russians (and, no doubt, Ukrainians too) are very fine people, but they come from a very different cultural and social background than English people. History has been harsh in those regions, and attitudes are fashioned out of such history.

As I have blogged previously, I have never seen any of these sorts of “antifascist” and/or Jewish Zionist trolls offer any policies or ideas about how to improve society (except by advocating the “removal” of those they deem “Nazi”, “fascist”, “racist” etc). I have to admit that I am rather curious as to what happened to the ยฃ12,000 that Roanna, Mike Stuchbery (the pro-“antifa” tweeter, would-be “journalist”, would-be “historian” and general grifter), and a Pakistani solicitor extracted, via GoFundMe, from 700 well-meaning (?) mugs, on the premise that Stuchbery was going to sue “Tommy Robinson” (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon). Never happened. As far as I know, the only action taken was a very poorly-drafted letter from the Pakistani, which may or may not have been delivered to “Robinson”.

Strangely enough, though, I saw nothing in the msm about the fairly recent video put out by “Conservative” candidate Shaun Bailey, which featured a woman best described as a “Balkan fraud”, and who was convicted of both fraud and forgery at Southwark Crown Court in 2013. Come to that, Bailey himself was, arguably, lucky not to face more than a police investigation when his non-profit quasi-charity had to be wound up some years ago. Oddly enough, all the monies had disappeared, and large amounts had apparently been spent on hotels and restaurants for…Shaun Bailey.
Fortunately for West Indian-origined Bailey, the voters in today’s election will have voted by the time I post this; in any case, Bailey has little chance of beating Sadiq Khan in the contest.
I wonder why the Conservative Party picked Bailey? I remember seeing him on one of the Andrew Neil politics shows on the BBC, years ago. Unimpressive. A West Indian with a big mouth and not much of interest to say. I suppose that, London now being a mainly non-white city, the Con Party decided that it needed a non-white candidate. Well, that fell flat (it seems).

Well, 3-4 years of water under the bridge. Shaun Bailey is now a member of the ever-less-credible House of Lords! Baron Bailey of Paddington, no less. As good as “Burlington Bertie— from Bow”.
Bailey therefore gets a double bite: H o L expenses (nearly ยฃ400 a day, taxfree, for the days when the Lords are in session, most of the year, and (I admit that I was unaware that that was allowed) a salary as a member of the London Assembly. Not bad for someone whose only career jobs have been to have founded a fake charity that folded after 6 years with debts, much of the money having gone to Bailey himself; someone who was a token black SpAd for David Cameron-Levita for 2-3 years, then a multiple failure at various elections. As for the “Balkan fraud”, Jasna Badzak, she is finished and may even be dead; I do not know.
Jill Mortimer won the 6 May 2021 by-election convincingly for the Conservative Party— 51.9% of the vote. The Labour candidate, NHS doctor Paul Williams, garnered only 28.7% and was forced to resume work as a medical doctor. Jill Mortimer’s time as MP was, however, quite brief; at the General Election of 2024, she lost her seat and got only 21.9% of the vote, placed 3rd after Labour (46.2%) and Reform UK (24.5%).
Well, not me personally! In fact, the title refers rather to those who have tried to attack me over recent years.
Beyond those who seem to be obsessed with me personally (see below), I have noticed over the past 7-8 years on Twitter (my own account was closed down in 2018) that the platform does seem to attract many people who are mentally not normal in various ways. Indeed, many of those seem to take pride in their flawed mentalities and either proudly proclaim themselves to be this, that or the other, or frequently describe their conditions, medication, battles with the DWP or NHS etc.
I tend to look mostly at the more political side of Twitter, and there one does find a lot of mental instability and worse, and that particularly applies to those supporting Zionism, as well as “antifa” idiots. Most who attack me have mental problems (admitted by the individuals themselves).
When I had a Twitter account, one particular little bumboy even incited his relatively few followers to pour petrol over me and immolate me. I could not be bothered to report it to the police (or Twitter) at the time, though Twitter did suspend the pathetic degenerate’s account for a week. I daresay that he will get what’s coming to him in the end, one way or another. He will probably die of AIDS or something before any punishment comes to him from elsewhere. In the meantime, the same unpleasant little blot on humanity still tweets about me and how “evil” I supposedly am, though he does so only occasionally now. He thinks that he is anonymous and hidden, perhaps. He recently tweeted that he is “absolutely fine” about Nigel Farage being attacked with battery acid. Are the police interested? Probably not, since he has not posted rude pictures of one of the tame thick princelings and/or the Royal Mulatta, and has not tweeted anything “anti-Semitic”. One law for all? Hardy ha ha.
Dr. Tim G. Stevens
There again, we see, here below, another nuisance troll who spends time on Twitter: Dr. Tim G. Stevens, NHS consultant psychiatrist from Essex (via South Africa and Newcastle). He tends to tweet in the Jewish and Zionist interest, despite not being Jewish (certainly not full-Jew). He is in favour of mass immigration in the UK and was anti-apartheid as a Trotskyist student in his native South Africa. All the same, it seems that he has no desire to return to build the wonderful new “rainbow nation” South Africa, ruled as it is by an increasingly violent and corrupt African majority rule “democracy”. He is obviously capable enough of seeing the folly in that, but look at this absurd and recent tweet!

2017: Ironic. Self-described depressive case (and actually on medication) “Dr. Tim” describes me (never diagnosed with any mental problem or illness) as a “sad sack”.
It does seem rather unprofessional, though, for an NHS consultant psychiatrist to describe anyone as a “sad sack“. It seems to indicate an odd attitude to his own psychiatric patients, particularly those suffering (like Dr. Tim himself) from depression.

In the past, Dr. Tim claimed that one of his grandfathers was an SS officer who died at Stalingrad. At other times, he seems to have tweeted that the same officer was in the Wehrmacht and not the SS. Either way, he tweeted that he was ashamed of that officer, who (assuming any of it is true) seems to have perished defending Europe from Stalinism.

Another one obsessed with me (and “anti-Semitism”, of course).
“Christine” loved it that I was disbarred, and she was too stupid to see that it did not harm me in the slightest (because I had ceased practice 8 years before). I wonder whether “Christine” herself has ever had a job, let alone a profession? I doubt it.

A Zionist Jew who seems to spend a great deal of time on Twitter is tweeter “@frankiescar”, aka Andrew Roberjot, a kind of legal groupie (though apparently unqualified), who is so odd that he actually turned up to gloat when I was before the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal in 2016. While he is not (as far as I know) actually clinically mentally-disordered, he is an obsessed Zionist who, like Dr. Tim, has an elastic relationship with the truth. Stuchbery is better known for having quite recently organized people to go to Tommy Robinson’s family’s home, while also organizing the filming of the incursion. “Slatfascists” is often in contact on Twitter with other “antifa” idiots and also Zionists such as “Mark Lewis Lawyer”. I have suffered very deeply from mental health problems. At the age of 28 I finally broke. I was an outpatient at the wonderful facility of the Maudsley in South London. It was my BLESSING I got sick under a Labour government. Tony Blair was PM. I cannot stress this enough.

Well, “Dr. Dim” continues to tweet occasionally about Alison Chabloz and others, though I have not seen much about me since Dr Dim was forced, quite a while ago, by his NHS employers, to delete a tweet mentioning me, satirical singer Alison Chabloz, and Jo Stowell (photographer, formerly of Bristol). He lied about all three of us supposedly having threatened him and his family. The bastard even gratefully accepted tweets in commiseration from a number of mugs who follow his Twitter account.
Alison Chabloz got an official apology from “Dr Dim” (Dr. Tim G. Stevens), via his NHS trust, but so far neither he nor his Trust has apologized directly to me. Well, I am not a Jew, so do not harp on about “apologies” all the time.What goes around comes around, in the end…
In the meantime, “Dr. Dim” continues to transgress the NHS code of practice for psychiatrists by publicly posting “diagnoses” of people who are not his patients, and whom he has never even met. “Slatfascists” and some others (eg some crazed and apparently incontinent old woman to whom he talks online) only occasionally mention me now, probably because they realize that every time I or my blog are mentioned, my readership increases.
Mike Stuchbery occasionally mentions me, but not so often as at one time; he too probably wants to starve my blog of the “oxygen of publicity”, and has apparently taken up running, with almost (?) manic fervour. As far as I know, his proposed legal action against fake nationalist “Tommy Robinson” has still not come to court, a couple of years on from when he and Roanna Carleton-Taylor (“@oilpaintwitch”) collected nearly ยฃ12,000 via GoFundMe for that purpose.
In fact the said Roanna, “Witch of Peace” as was, has had the ludicrously-misnamed “anti-fascist” “organization” (a handful of lunatics), “Resisting Hate” she ran booted off Twitter. Poetic justice…
I have heard little from crazed non-Jewish Zionist idiot Louise Mensch, though I saw in some newspaper that her wealthy Jewish-American husband has managed to get rid of her by divorce. In political terms, she is, if possible, even more of a nullity than she has been for the past 9 years. No-one takes her even semi-seriously now.
As for serial troll Ben Gidley, the minor Jew academic, a few people better-known to the public than me (eg Peter Hitchens) have exposed on Twitter his, Gidley’s, fake Twitter personas, Hitchens perhaps having seen my blog, or former Twitter exposure of that horrible little pest.
A number of crazy or just unpleasant persons who have attacked or insulted me on Twitter have died, and/or suffered other hits, since I posted the main article. As for the rest, such as Kamm, they are still around, but rarely if ever mention me now.

“@TimGStevens”. “Dr. Dim” has not mentioned me on Twitter since his health deteriorated and he was hospitalized suffering from both delerium and some kind of cancer, though after a long break, he now again tweets occasionally, about one tweet every week or so.
Maybe he learned his lesson after committing a number of unprofessional acts, including having falsely accused singer Alison Chabloz, a lady photographer from Bristol, and me of (all) having threatened his family. He was too lacking in class to apologise directly, but Alison Chabloz received a formal apology, nominally on the bastard’s behalf, sent by the NHS trust for which he works or worked.
Why is an unprofessional loony like that even employed by the NHS and/or Chelmsford and Essex (C&E) Trust? “Answer came there none“.
“@cdaargh” seems not to have tweeted since late 2020, and her Twitter account is locked.
The “Balkan fraud” mentioned on the blog has tweeted only a few times since July 2022. I feel restricted in what I can write about her, because the trial of a couple of defendants accused of having stabbed her son to death over two years ago is still upcoming, set down for some date in 2023.
I probably could write more about her without falling foul of “contempt of court” (she will not, I apprehend, be a major witness anyway) but prefer to leave it until after that trial concludes (assuming that it proceeds). I may have a few more interesting things to say about her then.
In the meantime, said woman has been in hospital for several months, and has tweeted that the nurses and doctors in that hospital have deliberately stabbed her with needles, causing her to go into a coma for 8 weeks. Latterly, she also blames the Metropolitan Police for sending her into a coma (because of “stress”), and says that the police are “harassing” her and her family (what family?).
I expect that I would be criticized for being too suspicious, were I to say that I suspect the genesis of a spurious medical negligence claim and (and/or) another type of money claim (which I shall not specify today).

Well, prolific tweeter and political oddity (though not obviously mentally-disordered) Marko Attila Hoare has, for the first time in a few years (I think) tweeted about me:
Seven years ago, there was a very vicious clique of anti-Semites on Twitter who harassed people together: David Carter (@SplottDave), Joanne Stowell, Charles Frith, Paul Woodlock (@smeggypants), Alison Chabloz, Ian Millard, Jason Schumann. All suspended. Only Damian Read left.
Apart from the fact that the “clique” did not exist (the tweeters mentioned were just individuals, not closely or organizationally connected with each other), and apart from the fact that none of those mentioned could be described as “vicious“, I do not recall that any of those people “harassed” anyone. Rather the contrary.
I myself have never heard of Damian Read. As for the others, I recall the others from Twitter. A few of them tweeted to me occasionally while I still had a Twitter account (a pack of Jews had me expelled in 2018, and I have not bothered to get myself reinstated).
The only one of that list I have met in person was persecuted satirist and singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz, and that encounter was a 5-minute chat at the now-defunct London Forum, at which I gave a legal talk in 2017.
In theory, I could sue Marko Attila Hoare in libel and, now being very impecunious, would have little to lose, but I do not play games of that sort, luckily for Hoare, who might find such an action expensive even if I lost. Well, I have now a year, minus a few days, in which to decide on that, but I doubt that I shall bother in the end.

I have some interesting thoughts, and information, about Jasna Badzak, but will wait until the trial of those accused of killing her son ends, which will not be for months (it has not even started so far).

I never did get that apology from him or his employers in Essex, after he made a completely untrue and, indeed, crazed allegation that singer Alison Chabloz and photographer Jo Stowell (and me) were either threatening to attack, or actually planning to attack, his family!
In relation to that outright and loony lie, Alison Chabloz made official complaint and eventually received apology from “Dim’s” employing NHS trust (he was too lacking in courage and class to do it himself), I was given a half-apology by the NHS trust concerned, was told that the matter was being investigated, but in the end (as I expected), it died on the vine. The third person libelled did not want the bother of making a complaint.
Stevens had to delete his lying tweets, though.
In between then and now, Stevens has actually been hospitalized suffering from serious delusions, but now seems to be ready to pontificate to his fellow-psychiatrists, though he tweets only occasionally now.
As with so much in modern Britain, you could hardly make up such nonsensical behaviour as displayed by Stevens.
Looks as if at least one other person (unnamed, for now) who used to tweet unpleasantly about me is having to face the fact that his days are numbered by reason of a medical condition. #TenGreenBottles…

Looks like the criminal injuries people turned down her claim, if one was made. I can guess why.
I appeared as Counsel in very few Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority matters, but recall that one reason for not paying an award, or reducing one actually made, is because the applicant is of “bad character” (which includes but is not limited to criminal convictions).

She only offered to reimburse Mr Batten after police began an investigation, and has yet to repay a penny to the MEP.
Badzak, who fled war-torn Yugoslavia 20 years ago and whose relatives died in Nazi concentration camps, said her relationship with the politician deteriorated after she was asked to work on a policy document entitled โDismantling Multiculturalismโ in February 2011.

As to whether she really has qualifications (from Yugoslavia) as a medical doctor, and whether she really has an MBA from somewhere else, God knows. If so, why was she working for a modest sum as a temporary office-bod? She seems to have been living for at least a decade on various UK state benefits. We shall probably never know.

Well, the Balkan Fraud (Jasna Badzak) has now set up a GoFundMe appeal, and numerous mugs have donated already. She seeks ยฃ40,000, ostensibly in order to get medical treatment and generally to “get well” so that she can track down those who appear to have escaped trial for the murder of her son (I believe that three others have been convicted at trial, which trial or trials received enormous publicity in the Sun, Daily Mail etc). https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c03xe0j0xwro.

I do not know whether “Dr. Dim” Stevens is still around, or whether, as he feared, he developed early dementia and/or died of cancer. Still, he’s gone from Twitter/X, having not tweeted for over 9 months. Good riddance. #TenGreenBottles.

When I was stressed and in a bad place I avoided social media thinking it would help. It didn't. It wasn't the source of my stress. Moving our reality to an online world is making us miserable. If this app is the source give it up. If not people here will be there for you.
I happened to notice this piece from 2019 by one Lee “Budgie” Barnett, in which the individual relates how he had a “breakdown” about a decade ago from now:
That individual is or was a Jew who seemed, judging from his cautious tweets, somehow to know something of my political history going back, it appeared, to the 1970s.
Looking at his Twitter account (years ago), I noticed that he seemed to live not far from my own one-time home at Little Venice, London; either that neighbourhood, or nearby St. John’s Wood. During the years 2014-2020, he tweeted about me occasionally, talking to various other Jew-Zionists.
I notice also that the individual’s tweets and other online activity stopped about three years ago, so it looks as though he will not be chatting to other Jews about me in future.
I was moved to write today because of a TV programme which I did not in fact see but which has been widely reported. On BBC1 Question Time, a “Conservative” MP, one Ross Thomson [Con, Aberdeen South], was put in his place by Kezia Dugdale, the former leader of Scottish Labour. Thomson had been claiming that the simplistic Universal Credit idea thought up by (incredibly thick) Iain Dunce Duncan Smith MP would “get people off benefits and into work”. Kezia Dugdale had to point out that, so far, 37% of people receiving Universal Credit are in fact employed (but underpaid). Thomson just ignored the facts and ploughed on, a characteristic of, especially, “Conservative” MPs of recent years (Priti Patel is another egregious example).
Reading the above, I was impelled to look up this Ross Thomson. I found that the little twerp (now 31) only ever worked outside politics for 2-3 years, which he spent working for Debenhams stores and in a call centre. Once he stepped onto the “politics” gravytrain in 2012 and at age 25 (as Aberdeen local councillor, then MSP, then MP), he gave up trying to (pretending to) make a living in the more usual way.
His Question Timeย humiliator, Kezia Dugdale, was herself only employed on the political fringe (as a campaign manager etc) for a while before becoming a full-time politico (finishing as disastrous leader of Scottish Labour: the System looks after its own— she is now a columnist for the Scottish Daily Record newspaper). It goes beyond the scope of this blog post to muse overlong as to why so many women in frontline UK politics are lesbians.
The above thoughts led on to my wondering, not for the first time, why mediocrity rules in UK politics. Indeed, to be merely mediocre at Westminster is to be winning! Most MPs and “peers” do not even achieve mediocrity but are disastrously poor in every way.
The main problem stems from the First Past The Post voting system, which was fine in the 19th Century —simple policies and issues, uneducated voters, clear party divisions— but is simply out of date and not fit for purpose today. In 21st Century Britain, someone can be pro-animal welfare, anti-mass immigration, for private enterprise but pro-State control or regulation of utilities and transport. For which party does that voter vote? Conservative? Labour? Green? UKIP? LibDem? The one-size-fits-all politics is not our reality any more.
Furthermore, the FPTP voting system means that, once the MP is in a seat, it is almost impossible to dislodge that person.
Then there is the selection procedure, which varies from party to party, but which (even in a supposedly non-System party such as the now-finished UKIP) excludes anyone thought “racist”, “anti-Semitic” etc. Also, it is to be noted that some of the worst MPs have come out of restricted shortlists such as the Conservative Party “A” List. Even so, the sheer lack of quality of Westminster candidates now is staggering. Take some fairly random examples that have caught my attention over the past few years:
Justin Tomlinson [Con, North Swindon]: a comprehensive school, followed by Oxford Brookes University (the old Oxford Poly), where he obtained a bog-standard “business” degree. After that, he managed a small nightclub in Swindon, Wiltshire, bearing the name “Eros”(!) as well as (according to his own CV…) operating “a small marketing business” and serving on the local council; elected MP 2010.
Louise Mensch [Con, Corby 2010-2012], a scribbler (in the past) of braindead “chick-lit” “novels”, who was placed on the Con “A” List by David Cameron-Levita. The people of Corby, her new seat, were sold a pup. She was a poor constituency MP and was accused, while on the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, of being in the pocket of Rupert Murdoch (who later employed her as a columnist). She had to admit, belatedly, to have been an abuser of hard drugs which “had messed with her head”, one possible reason why she was and is known as someone who frequently gets even basic historical and political facts wrong. Resigned as MP in 2012 after about 18 months in the position and moved to New York (domicile of her Jewish American second husband), where she failed in various internet activities and was employed for a while as “columnist” for the UK Sun “newspaper” before eventually being dismissed or at any rate not retained.
Liz Kendall MP [Lab, Leicester West]. On paper well-qualified to be an MP, the reality is that this woman is as thick as two short planks, as her appearances on BBC This Week have made painfully obvious. Pro-Israel to the hilt (possibly part-Jewish), her 4.5% vote in the Labour leadership contest made her a laughing stock.
Iain Duncan Smith MP [Con, Chingford]: this part-Japanese serial liar and obvious sociopath has managed to parlay a sub-par secondary education (at “secondary modern” and Merchant Navy schools) and six years as a (surely mis-gazetted?) Guards officer (where he stuck at Lieutenant) into becoming an MP and, in time, Cabinet Minister! His faked CV (claiming degrees from the University of Perugia and the so-called “Dunchurch School of Management”) became notorious only after he had become politically prominent. His cretinous attempts to “reform” the “welfare” system have led to administrative chaos, dishonesty (flowing from the top…) and misery for millions. A stupid, greedy and evil man.
Diane Abbott [Lab, Hackney North and Stoke Newington]: Jamaican; somehow got into Cambridge University, where she scraped a degree in History. Less than two years as fast-track trainee at the Home Office (obviously unable to hack it), then a “race relations officer” for the then NCCL; then she did some researcher and press jobs for a few years. A ghastly woman: pro-abortion, a moneygrubber, expenses blodger and freeloader, openly anti-white. Now quite possibly Home Secretary of a Corbyn-Labour government!
I could list dozens, possibly hundreds, of other examples. The fact is that 90% of the House of Commons could be removed with no negative effect on anyone but those purged. The contrary, in fact.
A Labour MP, Paul Sweeney (who lost his seat in the 2019 General Election) claimed in November 2019 (rather suspiciously, a full year after the alleged event) that in 2018 he had been sexually assaulted by Thomson in a bar within the Palace of Westminster.
Thomson denied the charge and was later cleared by the Commons Standards Committee, but in the meantime his local Conservative Party chairman refused to sign Thomson’s nomination papers. This meant that he could not stand as a Conservative candidate.
In the event, the short-notice Conservative Party candidate was beaten soundly by the SNP candidate at the 2019 General Election.
Thomson has since returned to what seems to be complete obscurity.
It has now been about three months since I was expelled from Twitter. Am I chafing under the restriction? No.
Most Twitter users regard removal from Twitter as akin to being cast into outer darkness, a phenomenon to be feared (if it happens to them), to be protested against (if it happens to those whom they regard as ideological friends), to be laughed at and celebrated (if it happens to those they dislike, hate, or oppose ideologically).
Twitter is in fact a habit akin to having a piece of chocolate with your morning coffee. I used to love posting my views and comments on the affairs of the day, as well as posting favoured music and art. Self-expression. I used to think also that I was, at least in a small way, influencing the national and even international debate. That might have been so, but only to a very limited degree.
My Twitter account had just under 3,000 followers when it was eliminated by the Twitter organization. The absurdity of imagining that you are much influencing society is shown when it is considered that –to take just one example and one which comes into my mind— a mentally-disturbed Jewess whose Twitter account is replete with long complaints about her illnesses, alcohol consumption, problems with the DWP, and those she dislikes politically (including me!), as well as pictures of her dogs and photographs of owls, actually has 500 more Twitter followers than had my account, with its –as I would like to believe, anyway!– intelligent, pithy views and comment on politics, strategy and society. She does follow thousands, though, whereas I followed only a few dozen accounts. The present Prime Minister, Theresa May, has 598,000 Twitter followers, while Jeremy Corbyn has no less than 1.84 million.ย To extend the idea to absurdity, take the One Direction pop group: they have 31 million Twitter followers.
A superficial view might be to imagine that someone with many thousands (or, a fortiori, millions) of Twitter followers has huge influence or impact upon society, upon political views etc. A moment’s thought shows that even if that be true, the influence and impact comes out of what the tweeter does offline, certainly off Twitter, not what he or she posts on Twitter. Theresa May’s Twitter influence is a mere adjunct to her position as Prime Minister. As to such as “One Direction”, were they not well known as entertainers, their influence (whatever it may be) would be close to a zero point.
I keep in touch with comment on Twitter, read about this and that, largely out of habit, but am no longer fooled by the idea that those tweeting are influencing many outside their own existing circle (or “echo chamber”). I sometimes look at the tweets of the Jew-Zionist cabal on UK Twitter. The same few dozen idiots, mostly concentrated in parts of North London, still tweeting pretty much what they were tweeting five years ago— to as little effect.
Another example, that of the “Alt-Right”: “Prison Planet” Watson, meaning Paul Joseph Watson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Joseph_Watson, a young-ish (about 38-y-o) blogger and vlogger (and who does not accept the “alt-Right” label now), tweets to hisย 904,000 Twitter followers from (as I read somewhere) a basement flat in the Battersea area. Consider that: 904,000 followers, when the Prime Minister of the country only has 598,000… On the other hand, who of the two has more real influence, let alone real political power? That is not even a question.
Another point is that many “celebrity” or would-be celebrity tweeters buy huge numbers of followers, in an attempt to “big up” (in the inelegant phrase of the day) their Twitter profile and so (they hope) their real-world profile. To take one example, not entirely at random: a certain well-known Jew-Zionist solicitor, very vocal about “anti-Semitism” etc, (and who is or was wont to scream imprecations to me and others about how we should die and how he looks forward to our deaths) had about 5,000 Twitter followers when I became aware of the bastard’s existence (around 2012). That follower count increased to about 80,000 within one week! I wonder how much those “followers” cost him and whether the fake total helped him to pose as a hot-shot lawyer and almost a “public figure”? At any rate, he now has about 20,000 “followers”. His fakery does not stand alone, there are many whose “follower count” is hugely inflated, but I seriously doubt the utility of doing things like that.
There is another point. Many Twitter users follow literally thousands of accounts, so the influence of any one account on the follower is likely to be very small.
It might be asked why I am now on GAB if I think that being on Twitter is a waste of time. GAB has only 500,000 users, against Twitter’s 400 million. I am on GAB mainly because it is possible to communicate with others of similar views easily, either publicly or privately (as on Twitter). In addition, I want to support a genuine free-speech platform.

I just saw that privileged, superannuated schoolgirl-type and politico-social one-trick-pony Caroline Criado-Perez has no less than 46,200 Twitter followers! There are innumerable similar examples on Twitter.
From 2005 through to 2008, I worked as a practising barrister in England, but spent about half my time in Brittany, commuting on a twice or thrice-monthly basis by sea and air. I did not keep in close touch with UK political affairs. I used my TV in France only for DVDs and videos and had no Sky service. The brief triumph of BNP candidates Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons in the European elections was heard by me via BBC World Service and Radio 4 (which can usually be picked up on or near the coast).
In mid-2009, having given up Bar practice in early 2008, I returned to the UK. I started to take great interest in British political life. One aspect surprised me particularly: the rise to –brief– prominence of persons whose connection to politics was slight. Not so much “commentators” (their usual self-styling) as pseudo-commentators and pseudo-“activists”. One of these was a young woman called Alexandra Swann (on Twitter, @alexandralswann, not to be confused with @alexandraswann, an American blogger). She was (for her “15 minutes of fame”) a UKIP spokesperson:
and the msm started to take an interest in her. For a few months she seemed to be on TV constantly, pontificating (albeit risibly) on social welfare, employment, all sorts of things. UKIP gave her 10 minutes in which to speak at its 2012 Conference:
The Guardian –of all outlets!– gave Alexandra Swann op-ed space, calling her “the new face of UKIP”. She was also called, by others,”the future face of UK politics”!
In fact, she described herself as “libertarian” and had been an office-holder at one time in “Conservative Future”, the more or less defunct Con youth wing (the Scottish section even had to cancel its conference, when only 6 people applied for tickets!). Like so many youthful “libertarians” (she was 23 years old in 2012), she had a wealthy father to help her out should she be unable to stand on her own two feet in the approved Ayn Rand manner. Indeed, she was, at the time, still a student, working on a politics-oriented PhD at Sussex.
In fact, it was around that time that UKIP started to split internally between the members who were basically pseudo-nationalist Conservatives (fiscal Conservatives who were anti-mass immigration) and the more social-national UKIPpers who might (and did, briefly) appeal to voters in the Labour heartlands of the North.
She was so politically-unaware that she thought that UKIP should ditch its anti-immigration stance and become a party of Ayn Rand “libertarians” (liberty for the wealthy and austerity/repression for the poor, as I see it). She was not alone in holding such attitudes: some who held elected positions were not far from her in this; one could mention Daniel Hannan MEP, Douglas Carswell MP etc as “fiscally conservative, socially-liberal”. Those far more seasoned (not to say educated and intelligent) figures likewise at least pretended to think that a “small-state” national conservatism could be popular. Needless to say, the idea is anathema to me.
Since that time, Alexandra Swann has retreated into private life and (her tweets have recounted) has even had a job or two, as well as becoming, presumably on a small scale (via family money? I do not know, but how else?), a buy-to-let parasite or “residential real estate investor” if you prefer. I should add that the lady blocks me on Twitter, though I have never tweeted to her. She must have disagreed with a tweet of mine which was critical of her smug “entitled” attitudes…
What I am writing about here is not this one now-obscure person, Alexandra Swann, as such (she was, in the end, too silly and inconsistent a figure to be taken seriously even in Britain’s decadent political/msm milieu), but as a symptom of a time when the mainstream media promoted almost anyone, especially those thought to be travelling along the “welfare reform”, “austerity” line. A pretty face and youth helped but were not essential. There were others after 2010 who were trying to become media talking heads and/or political stars. Some even became MPs.
There was Louise Mensch, who caught the wave early. David Cameron-Levita-Schlumberger placed her on the “A” List, as a result of which she was briefly an MP, though she resigned for “personal reasons” later, by which time various stories about her behaviour had surfaced, not least the fact that (as she admitted), “hard drugs” had “messed with” her brain…
Louise Mensch could be seen on TV constantly in 2010-2011, supporting the evil policies of the “Conservative” government of Cameron-Levita (and not only on Sky News, but Newsnight, at the time still a programme of some weight).
Since her resignation as MP, Louise Mensch has tried and failed at various commercial social media and Internet activities and was for a few years a columnist for the Sun “newspaper”, until she “left” in 2017. I always wondered why Murdoch paid her (assuming that it was a paid job). It seemed bizarre that a woman who constantly gets basic facts wrong could be a columnist even for the Sun. She still tweets, though: prolifically and sometimes –though unwittingly– funnily. She blocks me on Twitter…
I should add that Louise Mensch has been gunning for me for years on Twitter and elsehow. She loved it when the Jew Zionists managed to get me disbarred in 2016 (I suppose that she thought that I was still in practice and that I would suffer as a consequence) and (together with or parallel to the same Zionists) tweeted directly to me that she was going to get me chucked out of the New York Bar too. She is married to a wealthy Jew. Her desire to extract the “pound of flesh” from me was patent!
For the record, the New York Bar does not police its members’ opinions on politics (there’s this thing called the U.S. Constitution…) and I never heard anything more about the complaint by Louise Mensch against me (if it was ever made) or that supposedly made by some London Jews (eg one Goldberg QC, who threatened me with the same in the newspapers). In fact, I have never practised in New York anyway, and whether I belong to the NY Bar is a matter of supreme unconcern to me.
There were many others around 2010 (in fact from 2009) and in the succeeding years who were to be seen on Sky News and BBC News newspaper reviews, on Question Time and BBC Daily Politics. Some found niche positions in small publications or online, but most have almost faded from view. One is the egregious Caroline Criado-Perez. Like several others of the type now under discussion, she seems to have come from a rather wealthy background, so it scarcely matters to her from an everyday point of view that she dropped out of university in the first year. Her Wikipedia entry –pretty obviously mainly drafted by her– mentions her “working in digital marketing for several years”…well, it may be true…(ha).
It seems that some silly and malicious people emailed or tweeted to Caroline Criado-Perez in a threatening way (three were even convicted), allowing her to claim a kind of pseudo-martyr status for a while. I personally have no objection at all to women of note (no pun intended) being depicted on paper money, but to agitate for that (which had already been done anyway) hardly counts as a career…
Caroline Criado-Perez had an OBE bestowed upon her by David Cameron-Levita for her “activism” in getting Jane Austen on a banknote (though Elizabeth Fry had been on banknotes for years). She has now agitated for a statue of a Suffragist in Parliament Square. She still seems to regard herself as a kind of full-time or other “activist” though her Wikipedia entry says that in 2013 she was “in process of completing” a Master’s degree in Gender Studies. Roll over, Einstein! I have no idea whether she will now get a CBE for having asked that a statue be erected; maybe not.
I have never tweeted to Caroline Criado-Perez, but she must have seen me criticize her on Twitter or, more likely, not take her seriously on Twitter, because she too blocks me…I have only seen her a couple of times on TV and she seems quite pleasant in her interview manner, but “pleasant” alone just does not cut it in these times. She is a one-trick pony who is just not at all interesting.
What strikes me about the three women above is how adept, at least initially, they were at self-promotion. Also, how, in the end, self-promotion is not enough. 2010 and 2012 were different to 2018. Times are becoming serious. Yes, you could get on TV shows if you were a pretty girl willing to address (however shallowly) important issues; yes, you could maybe become an MP if you had the right help and image; yes, you could get an OBE for something like demanding that a certain type of person be put on a banknote. However, that’s where it finishes. The pretence of gravity is not the same, ultimately, as gravity. If you are shallow, or ignorant, or a one-trick pony, the more serious times will not carry you along but will dump you as irrelevant.
My intention in writing the above was not to criticize those mentioned but to characterize a time, a time that is pretty much gone now. The new time demands serious people with the ability to think and act seriously. This is no longer the time of the dilettante.

Nearly two years have passed since I wrote the above. The times have indeed become serious, but I have been astonished to note that System politics has founds niches for dilettantes almost as absurd as the three mentioned in the article. The Prime Minister is now Boris-idiot, dilettante sans pareil, and his top adviser is Dominic Cummings, another dilettante, who has asked that “weirdos and misfits” apply to “reform” the Civil Service. 35,000 have, we are told, applied. The UK is now going down so fast that it is dizzying.
Labour? Same: Jess Phillips for one, tipped (incredibly) as leader at some point (I doubt it, not if Labour is going to survive).

None of the three women mentioned has come back into prominence, except that Louise Mensch has continued to tweet complete rubbish (including anti-Russia propaganda); she has been dumped by her now ex-husband, a wealthy American Jew; she still, it seems, lives in New York. As far as I can see, her tweets about me from years ago have all been deleted, and I myself was expelled from Twitter in 2018 after a long campaign by a pack of Jews.
