The Kiev regime cannot defeat Russian forces on the battlefield, and any attempt to bomb Russian cities heavily will result in a response so devastating that, after such response, Kiev, Kharkov and other cities may be completely destroyed. The most the Kiev regime can hope for is to be allowed to withdraw to Lvov and to rule over a rump inland “Ukraine” state from there.
One notices that the 2022 and early 2023 UK TV talking heads and alleged “experts”, ex-British Army officers and newspaper scribblers, all predicting Russian collapse and “Ukrainian” (Kiev regime) victory (in one case, even a Ukrainian advance to Moscow!), have disappeared from the TV screens, or are being very reticent now.
Also absent is thick and lame-duck Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace. He is a waste of space, and has decided to stand down as MP at the next general election. His seat is being abolished anyway, and no other constituency wants him.

Here’s a grass roots initiative I can get behind. Neil Oliver @thecoastguy has kept me sane in these crazy times. @TuckerCarlson could do no better than to introduce him to his audience. Both great family men with high moral standards. The conversation would be epic! Please 🙏 https://t.co/0AiGdQ23mt
I noticed that a Twitter lynch-mob has been attacking dissident broadcaster Neil Oliver over the past day or two after he had a dialogue with a doctor who disagreed with him on one or two issues. The Twitter mob have been trashing Oliver not only about the medical questions which were the subject of the show (on, apparently, GB News) but also Oliver’s whole past history, his TV shows on archaeology, his views in general, the way he looks, speaks etc.
Many of the Twitter mob claimed (and at time of writing, are still claiming) that the doctor in question completely defeated Oliver. Also, that Oliver (and MP Andrew Bridgen) had no right to speak because said doctor is a doctor, and so of course (?) knew more than they do.
Well, is that last so? I did not watch the discussion (in fact I have never seen GB News and am unsure whether my TV can even receive its broadcasts) but the said doctor is, as I understand it, an ordinary GP, not a specialist in vaccines or, indeed, viruses.
What interests me is how there is this superficially huge number of persons on Twitter (though probably not even a tenth of 1% of the general population) who are willing to join in with others of their sort to create a Twitterstorm which, in terms of real effects in the real world, makes not a ripple in society or the body politic.
The sheer hatred of their vituperative tweets is incredible. These are, more or less, the “anti-racists”, and/or those who mostly believe every last (and latest, and unexamined) detail of the Jew-Zionist so-called “holocaust” farrago, and who “support” (by having little Ukrainian flags on their Twitter profile) “Ukraine” (the regime in Kiev). Most probably support such as the “Black Lives Matter” nonsense, no doubt echo “refugees welcome” slogans (and so what if most of the migrant invaders are in reality not “refugees”), and prefer not to think of the impact of the invading hordes on British health services, housing, social cohesion, crime and, down the line, pay and conditions of employment. Oh, no, that’s for “the Government” to worry about.
I would be prepared to bet that pretty much the same bloc of Twitter posters support the “trans” nonsense, are “anti-Tory” (while —most of them— somehow believing that Labour-label under Jewish-lobby puppet Starmer will be far better), and that almost all of them will identify with Remain/Rejoin and, of course, “FBPE”.
The Twit-mob lynch-mob of today is a contemporary version of the Stalinist or Orwellian “daily hate”. Examples seen today on Twitter:
“Work in a charity bookshop and it’s very noticeable that we can’t give Neil Oliver history books away. They used to be steady sellers. Same for Starkey and Johnson. History book buyers avoiding like the plague and GBNews viewers can’t read.“
“If there was ever going to be a Scottish UnaBomber it would be Neil Oliver.“
“Neil Oliver was always a biased clown, even on his “history” programs – now he’s just plain lost his mind.“
“No need to present evidence to dismiss the crazy claims of Neil Oliver and fellow loonies.”
There are hundreds of tweets like that, all from people who think that they know things, and they think that they “know” purely because they believe, by default, various System and msm sources.
They cannot bear even seeing a dissident opinion.
Opinion polls in the UK seem to be showing that censorship, “no-platforming”, “cancelling” etc are becoming more popular, especially among the young.
As far as I am concerned, if people are becoming more and more like easily-corralled sheep, then such people are not worth having in our society, and read that how you like.
Is that true, or just jingoistic hot air? I have no idea.

I am unsure at present whether there are being concentrated Russian forces in Belarus with the aim of launching an offensive south, toward Kiev, or whether those forces are there to keep Kiev-regime forces tied down on or near the Ukraine-Belarus border, so as to prevent the deployment of the Kiev-regime forces to the southeast regions, notably Donetsk and Lugansk, where most of the active combat is happening.

Britain should be politely distant with China, friendly with Russia, and hostile only to (((you know who))) and other untermenschen…
Wallace dismissed concerns over the pace of Ukraine’s offensive. He said Kyiv’s forces were ‘advancing every day’, but had been somewhat slower than expected because Russia's lessons learned and they've adapted accordingly. /2
Having adapted, Moscow's forces now lay mixed minefields, combining anti-personnel and anti-tank mines to further slow any Ukrainian advance. Russia is also learning, and adapting its forces, to deal with new, long-range weapons introduced onto the battlefield, Wallace added. /4
Wallace said Ukraine hadn't yet committed reserves from its 12 offensive brigades, the majority of which were trained and armed by Nato allies. He said Kyiv hadn't yet made a choice on what potential axes of attack to 'really pile it on' in an attempt to breach the lines. /6
On future security guarantees for Kyiv, Wallace said: 'You could expect more British troops in Ukraine after this conflict than you did before.' He suggested these troops would be as part of 'capacity building' training missions, building on operations Orbital and Interflex. /8
There is no “after this conflict“. Either Russia effectively “wins” the conflict (whether by negotiation or in the field), or the whole thing turns into a general Eastern European and Central European war between Russia and NATO, which might or might not go nuclear.
Whatever or whichever, there will be few more UK troops in Ukraine. In any case, the British Army is almost non-existent now in terms of major field presence. Take away the office bods, clerks, rear-echelon elements, and the whole brass-hat staff officer element (etc, meaning all non-combatant units), and I doubt that the UK could field, overseas, more than about 20,000 active troops, at most.
Who cares what Ben Wallace says, anyway? His military service consisted of 7 years in the Scots Guards (1991-1998), during which he attained the modest rank of captain. His subsequent pronouncements have been mostly idiotic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Wallace_(politician).
Incidentally, we need not take his decision to stand down as MP at the next general election (presumably in 2024) as having been prompted by anything based on principle.
Wallace’s Commons seat, Wyre and Preston North, is set to be abolished via boundary changes, so were Wallace to wish to stay in the Commons, he would have to find another seat quite soon, almost impossible in view of the expected Conservative Party mass wipeout at the (2024?) general election.
I suppose that Wallace will now be looking for some well-paid business sinecure, combined with a nice £350-taxfree-per-day House of Lords peerage in Sunak’s resignation honours list.

No reaction so far from the usual Western “human rights” parasites about the plan to expel 800,000 Russians from their homes in Crimea, something akin to the deportations carried out by Stalin or (to a far lesser extent) Hitler.
In fact, the Kiev regime is engaged in “pie-in-the-sky” politics. Putin and the Russian Government (and people) will never allow the Kiev regime to annex Crimea again. If there were any real danger of that, the Russian forces would use tactical nuclear weapons on the battlefield and, if that were not enough to stop any annexation, a strategic nuclear missile or two on Kiev itself. Watched about 10 mins of the new TV spy drama, A Spy Among Friends. Had I known that it was about Philby, I should probably not have bothered. I do not have a lot of time for the so-called “master spy” whose reputation was and still is the most inflated since Mata Hari. No need to go into all that now, though.
I am rather impatient with films and TV dramas. If they bore or irritate me in the first 10-15 mins, I rarely watch on. In this case, there were invented scenes, which may have been inevitable, but some of them lacked any credibility. For example, there was a West Indian involved in the first few minutes, highly unlikely in 1963. Also, the show pushed, in those opening minutes, the buttons of all the known cliches about Philby— cricket, booze, womanizing etc.
It is true that Philby, had he become Chief of SIS, would have been a “master spy” or “legendary agent” (“legendary” in more ways than one). Not because (or primarily because) he would have been able to give the KGB secrets at all levels, but mainly because he would have been in a position to cripple SIS strategically, structurally; even more important, he would also have been in a position to deliberately mis-advise the Prime Minister and other ministers, and to point them in the wrong direction strategically.
It never happened. Philby was found by General Kalugin to be living in a permanently intoxicated state in his apartment in Gorky Street (now once again Tverskaya Street). Kalugin, and Philby’s last wife, Rufina, sobered him up somewhat, and Kalugin gave him mentoring work to do.
I myself was slightly acquainted in the early 1990s with a former KGB officer (turned businessman) called “Ed” (Edvard, from the Baltic regions or pribaltika), who told me at lunch in Hall at Lincoln’s Inn in 1994 (I think) that he had once heard a lecture by Philby at the Lubyanka. That lecture must have been late 1970s, or maybe early 1980s.
“Though Philby claimed publicly in January 1988 that he did not regret his decisions and that he missed nothing about England except some friends, Colman’s mustard and Lea & PerrinsWorcestershire sauce,[84] his wife Rufina Ivanovna Pukhova later described Philby as “disappointed in many ways” by what he found in Moscow. “He saw people suffering too much,” but he consoled himself by arguing that “the ideals were right but the way they were carried out was wrong. The fault lay with the people in charge.”[85] Pukhova said, “he was struck by disappointment, brought to tears. He said, ‘Why do old people live so badly here? After all, they won the war.'”[86] Philby drank heavily and suffered from loneliness and depression; according to Rufina, he had attempted suicide by slashing his wrists some time in the 1960s.”
[Wikipedia]
Assuming that the above is accurate, Philby’s only very superficial understanding of politics, geopolitics, history, and economics is almost too obvious.
Even were A Spy Among Friends better than my first impressions, I would probably not bother with it, because at root, Philby just does not much interest me.

I suppose that the devil is in the detail. What is “immoral”, in the sense of state policy or implementation? Ukraine has been a corrupt mess since at least 1991.
Ukraine needs a new start. Ideally, the Russians should take all of Eastern Ukraine (Ukraine east of the Dnieper), as well as Crimea, and also a 50-mile-deep strip along the Black Sea littoral. Odessa and Kiev should have some kind of special status, either condominium status or as autonomous cities. A Ukrainian state, presumably based on Lvov, can then exist in the two-thirds of Ukraine west of the Dnieper and north of that coastal strip.

I have frequently noted Zelensky’s ghetto style of negotiation.
Do I sense that even the major puppets of NWO/ZOG are tiring of Zelensky and his corrupt cabal? Not least because there is no real prospect of the Kiev regime being able to “recover” the regions of Crimea, Donetsk, and Lugansk.
350,000 Kiev-regime soldiers have been fed into the hell of Bakhmut/Artyomovsk and other areas of the front, and have fallen. Several times that number have been rendered hors de combat by reason of injury. Foreign contract soldiers are now going home, and there are rather few coming to replace them. The Kiev regime is increasingly using press-gangs to force unwilling Ukrainian men into uniform, and has toughened the exemption regulations in order to be able to “lawfully” conscript a wider range of non-volunteers.
Ukraine is by most definitions a “failed state”. It exists, both militarily and in general, only by reason of the Western subsidies. It could well be argued that, as it now is, “Ukraine” is scarcely a state at all.

Any "abuse" is too much, but I get the impression we may have different definitions of that word. Fair criticism of Jack Monroe is not abuse. Educating others on her dodgy activities is not abuse. I believe she should be encouraged to stop tricking people out of money.
Why are the Essex Police (or other police) not actively investigating “Jack Monroe” and her fraudulent behaviour? Surely they cannot be spending all their time snooping on Twitter tweets and blog postings, or seizing “racist” teddy bears?
The World Bank will provide Ukraine with a new $1.75 billion aid package
$500 million will be issued by the financial institution itself as a loan guaranteed by the UK, $1.25 billion as a grant from the United States, $15 million from Finland, follows from the bank's statement.…
The transnational conspiracy in action. On some level, the ruling circles of the West are fomenting war with Russia, meaning West/Russia war. There is an occult (in both senses) aspect to this.
The financial system itself is a fraud, and the 'money' they throw about is immaterial to them and their agenda. They're inciting war as a catalyst to bring in the technocratic totalitarianism that will replace the current, dead, finance system.

So-called “Travellers” (Irish “tinkers”). Quite typical behaviour. I once witnessed such an incident myself. I was in a cafe at Dover, near the port, and waiting to embark for France with my car. On entering the cafe, I saw that the main area was empty, but that a noisy group of Irish persons, aged from 40+ to small children, had been put in a side room. They were both eating and drinking (beer).
After about 20 minutes, they all came out into the main area, and while one or two talked to the two Italian (I think) staff, the rest went out into the street. The two inside seemed to be preparing to pay, but made up a story about how others were going to pay. One of the two, then the other, went “to fetch the others” but of course disappeared. The waiters ran out and took the number of one of the cars. They also called the police.
Well, there were two minor sequels to that incident. The first was the same day. On arrival in Calais or Boulogne (I forget which, and was a regular arrival at both, in those days), and on going back to my car on the ferry, I noticed the small crowd of foot passengers at a disembarkation point. One of them was a tall girl aged about 18-20, who was part of that “tinker” group. I noticed that she was now alone, and trying to “play grey”, i.e. blending in with the other foot passengers.
The other members of the “tinker” group were not there. Had they stayed in the UK? Had they gone to vehicles? Who knows?
The other sequel was that I stopped by the same cafe about 6 months later, and asked whether the police had done anything. Apparently not, though that may have been because the registration number taken was not a known one (probably false).
Statement
Regular readers of the blog will be aware that I am being prosecuted on 5 counts of breach of the notorious “bad law” known as Communications Act 2003, s. 127, relating to five blog posts allegedly posted by me.
Political “crime”.
I have already stated that I shall not be blogging in detail about the case until it is concluded.
Today, I attended the magistrates’ court for a case management hearing. At that hearing, various directions were given. The only ones of interest to readers of the blog are that there will be another case management hearing later in the year (in October), and that a trial date has not as yet been fixed but possible dates are in the latter half of November 2023. If those dates prove ineffective, then it may be that the trial of this entirely pointless and malicious prosecution will not take place until December 2023, or even a later date, i.e. in 2024.
I shall blog in detail about the matter once the trial has been held (assuming that one is held).

At the end of the day, though, if you have about 3 million Muslims in the UK, even if 99.9% are not actively pro-terrorism, that still leaves about 30,000 who are. If, however, the “innocents” are 99.8% of the whole, then about 60,000 might do, or support, terrorism in the UK. Therein lies the problem, i.e. that the UK is now a multicultural dustbin.

What will be the next step in the UK? An end to elections, because of (maybe) a faked-up “crisis” involving “Ukraine”, together with some new Chinese virus supposedly about to kill us all?
That might be the excuse to cancel the next general election, and to form a pseudo “National Government” of, mainly, Labour and Conservative Party drones. After all, Starmer’s Labour Party is similar to Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party. There is scarcely enough space to slip a penny piece between them ideologically, and certainly in terms of actual policy.
Such a pseudo-national government could impose all manner of restrictions, take the UK to war, remove all free speech (that is left), and repress any social-national voices.
That is one scenario. The other, leading to the same result, would be a “Labour” landslide at the next general election. Same effect. No free speech, UK on a fake war footing, and no opposition whether official or real.

Exactly, or nearly, what I have been saying for years.
The digital microchip “passport” will not be brought in at once, by force, but slowly. Those who do not submit to it will gradually be squeezed out of foreign travel, then most domestic travel, then most State benefits and pensions, then any banking.
The few who keep on fighting will eventually, over several years, be marginalized, unable to travel, stay in hotels, play the lottery, have bank accounts, have jobs (any but the low-level, off-grid and paid-in-kind type of work). They will be unable to vote (for what that is worth), unable to have internet access, unable to access NHS services or other medical and dental services.
Not being able to function in mainstream society, they will inevitably fall foul of repressive laws, and will find even shelter and food hard to access, and so quite likely end up being detained in prison, or in camps disguised as “open prisons”.
The upcoming dystopian UK being planned by the evil ruling circles.
They are already building the infrastructure for a social credit system. Google knows your life inside out. Your iPhone tracks where you go, and what you do. Your bank knows everything you buy.
This isn't a conspiracy theory. They are building the prison walls RIGHT NOW.

My view as an outsider is that, in eastern Ukraine overall, and as far as one can see, there is no “Ukrainian” or Kiev-regime defence in depth, just a long long front with a belt of Kiev-regime forces along it, and then embedded defences within individual cities such as Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa etc.
If the Russian forces can break through that front and/or encircle elements of the Ukrainian defence line formations, they might be able to power on through eastern Ukraine to the Kiev area facing little heavy opposition.
For that, the Russians will need numbers, armour, transport, and air cover.

Twice as many people died in Japan last year as were born. Population freefall.
The problem is that the more advanced peoples are failing to reproduce (and that applies especially to white Northern Europeans), while the blacks and browns are breeding faster (even if less fast than 20 or 40 years ago).
Western diplomats used to joke about the Soviet Union being “Upper Volta with rockets“, but really, when you look at the USA, what would it be without its own military-destructive power? The last days of Babylon “with rockets“? The last days of Sodom and Gomorrah “with rockets“?
Incredible. Poses as female. Poses as an admiral, too! This is a bad dream. Dystopian. Even Wikipedia plays along with this nonsense: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Levine.

The judgment an old lady passed on Leon Brittan (see above) surely applies also to Cleverly.
I was just thinking about the “level”, culturally, of Russia and Ukraine.
When you think of Russia in terms of historical culture, a host of names come to mind at once. In the world of literature, you could cite —to name but a few of the most famous— Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Chekhov, Pushkin, Gogol, Turgenev, Bulgakov, Lermontov, Sholokhov, Leskov, Yevtushenko, Solzhenitsyn etc.
Some of those writers, eg Gogol and Bulgakov, were in fact born in Ukraine; Gogol was ethnically and culturally Russian as well as Ukrainian. After all, Ukraine and Russia were together for a thousand years.
In music, one thinks of, inter alia, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Glazunov, Glinka, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Borodin, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Balakirev, Mussorgsky, Shostakovitch, Myaskovsky, Khrennikov, Popov, Shchedrin, Sviridov and many others.
The same can be said of painters.
As to Ukrainian writers, composers etc, there are quite a number (e.g. Lyatoshinsky), but few who would be known to people in the UK, USA etc.
It is true that, until about 30 years ago, there was a broadly Russifying policy in the Ukraine and, in both the 19thC and under Stalin, a general repression of Ukrainian language, but that is not the whole picture.
Ukraine is a country the same size as France, and which has today a population of over 40 million (minus 5-10 million now living beyond its borders).
There can surely be no doubt that, historically, Russia has produced a great deal more, culturally, than Ukraine, whatever reasons can be adduced, yet when we look at Western propaganda, whether in the msm or on Twitter etc, all we see is that Russians are “savages“, or “orcs” (a reference to the brutal and stupid evil soldier-creatures of The Lord of the Rings) and so on.
By contrast, the Ukrainian (Kiev regime) people and soldiers are represented as being far far better than Russians.
Well, of course, “in war, truth is the first casualty” but, even so, it is “disappointing” to see how easily bamboozled many people are in, say, the UK, and how enthusiastically the basically Jewish-pervaded msm has embraced its faux-war propaganda role.

She doesn't do any campaigning, she just lies about her backstory, her finances, begs for money, then spends it on luxury goods for herself. I'm left wing and working class, I criticise Jack Monroe because I saw through her 🐂💩 from day 1. Do your own due diligence, or don't…
My view of Liz Truss, published a year ago when she was Foreign Secretary, amuses me, looking back now, months after she was —disastrously— “Prime Minister” for a few weeks.
“Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has reportedly been told by a senior US general that the British army is no longer considered a top-level fighting force.
Decades of cuts are said to have led to a decline in war-fighting capability, which needs to be reversed faster than planned in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
‘Bottom line… it’s an entire service unable to protect the UK and our allies for a decade,’ one defence source said.”
[Daily Mail/Sky News]
“The army would run out of ammunition ‘in a few days’ if needed to fight.
The UK couldn’t defend its skies against the level of missile strikes Ukraine is enduring.
It would take at least five years for the army to be ready with a war-fighting division of 25,000 to 30,000 troops, supported by tanks, artillery and helicopters.
Around 30% of UK forces on high readiness are reservists, unable to mobilise within NATO timelines.
Most army vehicles, including tanks, were built 30 to 60 years ago with replacements not due for years.”
[Daily Mail]
“Defend” from what? “Defend” from whom? The historical and/or traditional enemies of the UK —France, Germany, Spain, Denmark— are now not enemies and unlikely to replay that role.
Forget “allies“, if by that is meant any states, in Eastern Europe etc, “allies” by reason only of belonging to NATO. They are not really “allies” at all.
The only System-suggested “enemy” on the horizon is Russia, anyway. The old Soviet Union was a genuine threat, to the UK, to the whole of Western Europe. The new Russia cannot even (yet) defeat the forces of Ukraine, let alone mount an attack on NATO territory, which would involve fighting the armies and airforces of the Baltic states, Poland, Germany, and France, among others, long before Russian forces got to within any close distance to the UK.
Apart from that, the whole Soviet ideology was (overall) aggressive and expansionist (they claimed not, and that they were mainly or entirely defensive). It might be more accurate to say that the Soviet political protocol was defensive, but that their military protocols were mainly geared to the swiftly offensive.
Whatever the truth of that, the fact is that the Russia of 2023 has no wish to take over Western Europe, and no Marxist-Leninist ideology to underpin any such wish. The whole idea is ludicrous.
Russia may want to take over Eastern Ukraine, possibly even the whole of Ukraine, together (maybe) with a few other bits and pieces such as the “state” of Moldova, but no more. It neither wants to go further nor is even capable of going further. Realpolitik.
Meanwhile, while NWO/ZOG political drones such as Ben Wallace fulminate against Russia, and feed arms and money to the Jew dictator Zelensky in Kiev, Britain is falling to pieces internally, in every way, and thousands of non-white migrant-invaders are landing on our beaches weekly, even daily, with no opposition from our Army, Navy, or Air Force, nor even from the completely useless “Border Force”.
Au contraire, they, and non-governmental agencies such as the RNLI, are actually ferrying the invaders to our ports.
There is another aspect: the quality of both officers and men (and now women too, who comprise 10%-15% of the UK armed forces).
Incidentally, the Daily Mail also reports that “Earlier today, it was reported Ukraine needs new weapons and faster deliveries to confront a ‘very tough’ situation of constant attacks by Russian forces in the eastern Donetsk region.“
The fact is that, despite huge losses on the Russian side, the forces of the Kiev regime have suffered equally-huge losses in absolute terms, which means that they have suffered even greater losses in proportionate terms.
Well, look at that— Andrew Windsor sporting 7 or 8 medals. Not bad for having spent a mere 3 weeks, as a near-spectator at that, in the Falklands, over 40 years ago.
When I myself had serious problems with HMRC, a decade or so ago, which problems stemmed in part from as long ago as the early 1990s, I found the HMRC to be a stunningly-incompetent, shambolic, almost insanely-run organization, to an extent that I quite frankly found hard to believe. “Kafka-esque” would be an accurate description.
Some HMRC employees were also very unpleasant. I think that many were sacked about a year later. I had a great deal of trouble from that “organization”, but in the end they just gave up, and told me that the matter was being treated as closed. No reason was given. They just went away, to put it politely.
Strange. I have often found in life that, when I am confronted with a serious problem, am threatened, and look as if I shall be unable to defend myself, I am then saved by some force or grace that often seems to pass all understanding. Organizations are defeated or give up, evil people are restrained, or become bankrupt or, indeed, die, in fact.
Divine protection?

Happened to see the blog article below by one Kristine de Abreu, which is about the “Tibetan monk” known as “Lobsang Rampa” (actually, an English plumber from either Plympton, Devon, or Swanage in Dorset): https://explorersweb.com/lobsang-rampa/.
Amusing and interesting, though I already knew most of the basic facts, and had known them since the late 1970s.
Around 1978, I had several “Lobsang Rampa” books in paperback, and I knew at least one other person who also owned a number of copies. In fact, even the first book by “Lobsang Rampa”, out of twenty, sold hundreds of thousands of copies, and many of his works went through numerous printings.
I reproduce the concluding part of the blog article:
“Lobsang Rampa tapped into man’s desire to escape the ordinary. Writer David Michie makes a fair point when addressing the topic on his blog, davidmichie.com: “I suspect he made them up, cobbling together his own version of what he’d like Tibetan Buddhism to say…There weren’t too many real lamas around to contradict him.”
That era provided fertile ground for Rampa. The cultural scene was changing rapidly, and people were open to accepting alternative beliefs. The East was still an exotic mystery. Once his story caught the public imagination, there were few sources to contradict his claims.

Although Lobsang Rampa had fraudulent motives, his works encouraged an interest in Tibetan culture and Buddhism. They also brought much-needed attention to the Tibet Independence Movement. Even the Dalai Lama, who opposed his works and discredited his story, conceded to him this one point. Rampa became an unlikely poster boy for the Tibetan cause, and his books still have a cult following.“
We today are rather accustomed to fraud and fakery, from the small-scale “Jack Monroe” and Julia Grace Patterson type of “grifting”, through the large-scale theft, fraud and background of “Robert Maxwell” and the like, and right up to the sort of fraud and fakery which is on a vast scale, such as much of the “holocaust” farrago (particularly the “gas chambers” tall tales), much of the incredible and recent “Covid” nonsense (the facemask nonsense being only part of that), and deliberate political scams such as “Iraqi missiles could hit London in 15 minutes” and “Russia wants to invade Western Europe” (and so we must, it is proclaimed, “stand with Ukraine to save democracy” etc…).
Not to mention “Black Lives Matter”, and much of the “climate change” stuff.
The cartoon below pokes fun at some recent excrescences:
Still, as the Dalai Lama has apparently pointed out in respect of Lobsang Rampa, even a book or other cultural item that is largely untrue can have at least some positive results, certainly some large-scale results either way. Look at the history of the Mormons. A basically fake religion which, however, created Salt Lake City and various other things of value, such as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Come to that, what about the Turin Shroud? The Roman Catholic Church does not endorse it as “true” (as the shroud used to cover the body of Jesus Christ), but endorses it only as “an aid to faith”.
In fact, much of what most people think of as “History” (with a capital “H”) is not 100% or (in some cases) even 50% accurate. Examples include the two revolutions in the Russia of 1917, the story of British Empire (in the past thought of as almost-immaculate, but now often —and even less accurately— judged by many silly people to be a long-term disgrace). Then there is the story of National Socialism, Hitler, and the Second World War, but we cannot even start to consider that here.
Life is a great deal more complicated than many prefer to believe.
Interesting. The blog post is from May 2022. I have no idea whether there has been more progress since then.
The so-called “far right” activists of Idaho have, by chance or wit, implemented the primary dictum of Clausewitz, “to create first a secure base“. That is in essence what I have been suggesting should happen in the UK, possibly in the South West of England, leaving aside some ideological and/or cultural divergences or differences.
I have posted the (very critical, and very onesided) Huff Post piece in order to stimulate thought and ideas.

There is no “problem” with homeschooling, especially when you see the BS being “taught” in many if not all UK schools (and, I apprehend, American ones too). Oh…and in the UK, homeschooling is perfectly lawful: see https://www.gov.uk/home-education.

This may come about not by humanity losing a “war” with robots etc but by humanity simply becoming gradually more enmeshed by (and in) technology which is just too convenient, and which then becomes irremovable.
“A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting Matt Hancock on the London Tube.
The alleged attack on the former Health Secretary happened yesterday morning at Westminster Underground station, close to the Houses of Parliament.” [Daily Mirror]
What puzzles me slightly is why Hancock would travel by Underground anyway. He has a salary of £85,000+, generous Parliamentary expenses, and outside earnings (including £400,000 in 2022 for his trash TV appearances) etc. Maybe he is just a moneygrubbing skinflint.

Looks as though my blog comments about half-Jew Raab, from several years ago, and over several years, have held up pretty well, if I say so myself.
We never seem to learn from history. War mongers setting up for WWIII. While they hide in bunkers dragging us into a war that has fk all to do with us, it’s the little people that are set up to be cannonfodder for these fkrs. Sending hundreds of tanks to Ukraine (from all over Europe and the USA) is a massive escalation. In reality, even one nuclear missile on London = the UK finished for a hundred years or more. Even one nuclear missile on each of New York, LA, San Francisco, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Houston, Miami, Chicago, Boston = USA finished for decades, maybe a hundred years or more.
Yes, Russia’s major cities and military centres too, but does that help us? No.
This is not the way to go. The escalation has to stop, and then be reversed.
The present UK Defence Secretary is what was once termed “a passed-over major“, a former officer who, when serving, was unlikely ever to reach senior command. Not someone who can be relied on now.
Yvette Cooper is very much part of the problem, shame she’s not concerned about the thousands of young girls who’s lives have been ruined by grooming gangs, then it’s a case of 🙈🙉🙊 pic.twitter.com/2dHcIzxmb4
Yvette Cooper and her husband, Ed Balls, have several houses, partly bought by the money they ripped off during the expenses-scandal years. Not one houses any so-called “refugees”. Buy-to-let parasites.

Amazing how many deluded or misled people actually think that “Jack Monroe” is busying around, collating useful or relevant data about the cost of food; in fact, she just collates enough to sound superficially credible to those who know no better.
The Grocer's Hero of the Year was my particular favourite. For all those things she said she did…but unfortunately she didn't. I invented cottage cheese. May I have an award please?

186 Coastal MPs have failed. Johnson sold out the U.K. fishing industry & coastal communities. You all signed the deal that gave our territorial waters back to the EU. 40yrs deprived seaside towns have waited to rebuild, you stole their opportunities & aspirations. Outrageous.
No-one I know wants a “Labour” (fake) government, but no-one I know wants the present fake “Conservative” omnishambles either, and it will be good to see the anguish on their faces as many lose their seats, salaries, inflated expenses, jobs for wives, husbands, girlfriends, mistresses etc.
In fact, one of the best sights of 2019 was to see how upset were Jew-Zionist-lobby puppets such as Anna Turley, Mary Creagh, Ruth Smeeth etc, as they got turfed out of the House of Commons.

That was what happened in the Royal Navy and the U.S. Navy.
I recall that, when I first lived in the USA, in 1989 or 1990, the first US Navy ship to go mixed-sex was deployed to the Gulf. An aircraft-carrier, I think. The sailors did not object to nearly 100 women sailors joining the crew, but their wives certainly did! With some reason: when the deployment finished, it turned out that about 90 of the —less than 100— women on board had been made pregnant…
As for the Royal Navy, it matters little now, because the Royal Navy scarcely exists as an effective force. Apart from the paucity of ships, there is the question of the quality of many of the officers and men.
I happened to see about 15 mins of a documentary about a British warship. About a third of the complement seemed to be women. The junior officers (men and women) seemed to be incredibly dim, and rather wet (in a non-oceanic way). Drunk, too.
As for the crew, their shore leave in Italy ended with many drunk and near-incapable. Admittedly, rather an old naval tradition, but it was unpleasant to see, especially, the female members of the crew so drunk that they were unable to walk, falling into the gutter in their short skirts, just as they presumably did in the “left behind” UK towns from where many of them must have originated.
