Well, this week brings another win over political journalist John Rentoul. He scored 4/10, but I trumped that with 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 2, 3, 5, and 9.
Human beings are so inventive; there are grounds for optimism.
I remember saying to @Independent editorial meeting in Mar 1997 that even if the opinion polls were as wrong as in ’92, Blair was heading for big majority. Much shaking of heads

She is right, and about Elliot Colburn very right (except that his surname is “Colburn” not “Coldburn“). Here he is, the careerist little twit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elliot_Colburn. Never really had a job; no profession, either.
Andrew Bridgen is considered very dangerous by the System, because he is an MP, not someone opining on Twitter/X or Facebook. The System will be doing everything possible to have him removed as MP and replaced in 2024 by a Con Party or Lab Party drone who will make the “expected” noises. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Bridgen.
Looking also at the present political climate, and the great unpopularity of the present government, it may be that Bridgen has as much chance as a “Reclaim Party” candidate as he would have had as a “Conservative” Party one.
Reclaim Party is a dead duck, in my opinion, but Bridgen has a high public profile, and it is just about possible that, if the Conservative Party vote in the constituency collapses, or reduces by 40%-50%, and if the Labour Party vote only increases slightly, that Bridgen might just manage to come through the middle and win by a short head. A long-shot, but just about possible.
I do not disagree on some of what Goodwin often expresses, but anyone who doormats for Israel and the Jewish lobby (as Goodwin does in that discussion, and in some of his tweets) cannot be respected by me…

All Brits: Israel 21% Palestine 17% Both equally 29% Dont know 33%

There should be an MPs’ section (result would be “Israel 90%, Palestine 10%“, looking at how many are either bribed or intimidated by the Jew-Zionist lobby).

Incredible that, in 2023, a large organization such as Currys is still unaware that “Jack Monroe” is a total fraud and “grifter”. Still, if you have ever been in any of their stores, you can see that Currys is badly-run, and only saved from being hopeless by the skills of some of their staff, who however, are rather poorly-paid (underpaid).
“Jack Monroe” runs dozens if not hundreds of Twitter/X “sock accounts”, most of which are very obvious.
Incredibly, “Jack Monroe ” now has 507 utter mugs sending her between £3.50 and £44 per month via Patreon. Each. At one time she had over 800, but that fell back to below 400 as she was exposed as a fraud. Seems that another 100+ idiots have signed up in the past few months. Truly it is said that… there’s a new mug born every minute…
Well, this week I beat political journalist John Rentoul again. He scored 4 and two-thirds out of 10; I scored 6 and two-thirds. I suspect we both knew only (the same) two out of the three jazzmen in question 5. I did not know the answers to questions 4, 6, and 8 (though I came close on question 8).

At first, the rockets sent by the Palestinian resistance were little more than fireworks, but over the years and decades the technology has improved. It seems that now at least some of those rockets are quite powerful.
Israel, for all its military might, and for all its money, and its control/influence in other countries, is doomed in the long run. Demographics alone, in the region as a whole, would seem to indicate that.
Israel may have powerful weapons, including nuclear ones, but those weapons may not be enough to save it, in the end.
These are Hamas militants entering an Israeli neighbourhood. Unprecedented images from Israel right now. The attack is ongoing. pic.twitter.com/yoh0pFLL5Y
Perhaps a foretaste of what will eventually happen on a far bigger scale.
This is guerrilla warfare on the streets of southern Israel. The images are chilling. Many dead, and many hostages taken. Israel seems to have been taken completely off guard. It is a full fledge war. #Israel#Gazapic.twitter.com/FP3tw9tld5
Salah al-Arouri, one of the leaders of Hamas in Lebanon: we are holding a large number of hostages, among them high-ranking Israeli officers. International intermediaries have already contacted us.
Cleverly, with all the erudition and wisdom of his “McDegree” in Hospitality Management, explains that firing rockets etc at civilian habitations is “terrorism”. Unless, of course, the shooters are British or American (or Israeli), and the civilians Palestinian Arabs, Iraqis, Afghans, Serbs or (in WW2) Germans etc…
There is a high probability that the invasion from the Gaza Strip is just a diversionary maneuver, and a much more powerful invasion will follow from the north, by Hezbollah forces – Senior Lieutenant of the Israeli Defense Forces Yigal Levin.
I have to admit that I would never have guessed that the Arabs would be able both to co-ordinate such attacks and also keep the date and time of them secret. Presumably, the Israelis were also not expecting this.
Israel's military leadership unanimously agreed that the only proportionate response was a full-scale ground operation in the Gaza Strip – Israeli media
Again, quelle surprise— Israel almost always hits civilian targets.
Hamas commander Al-Arouri: We had information that Israel was planning a military operation against the West Bank and Gaza Strip after the Jewish holidays.
Possible/plausible “conspiracy theory”: the Israeli ruling circles knew of the Hamas plan, but allowed it to happen, “throwing under a bus” their own Jewish inhabitants, in order to be able invade Gaza as a form of “self-defence”. That is what, mutatis mutandis, Roosevelt did before and after Pearl Harbor.
Lebanese Hezbollah has gone into “standby mode” and UNIFIL forces (the UN peacekeeping contingent in South Lebanon) have moved to its bases, Israeli Channel 12 reported, citing sources.

What is important about the events of the past 24 hours is not the statistical rate of attrition, not the damage done, and not even which side eventually “wins” in the short term (bearing in mind Israel’s huge military superiority, that can hardly be in doubt), but the fact that an incursion like that seen has happened at all.
Hamas has broken something now— the sense of effortless Israeli military might, and the idea that any invasions or incursions into Israeli territory will be slight, only in one area, and easily repulsed.
In the longer term (i.e. after 2023), that may prove to be the most significant fact about these events. The Palestinian Arabs now know what is or might be possible, no matter what Israeli/Jewish repression follows the current events.
This may just be the beginning of the end for Israel.
Well, once again a narrow victory for me over political journalist John Rentoul. I scored 7/10 as against his 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 2, 4, and 10.
“They came at breakfast time to murder Theo Bekker, smashing an iron bar stolen from his own farmyard into his skull before slitting his throat so he bled to death.
His four teenage attackers then tied up his wife, Marlinda, and put a plastic bag over her head before she slipped into unconsciousness. Mercifully, she survived.
Twenty-four hours before Mr Bekker’s killing, the nation’s most controversial politician, Julius Malema, had chanted an anthem entitled ‘Kill the Boer’ — a term for white farmers — at a rally of 90,000 followers.
High above the dancing crowd in Johannesburg’s black township of Soweto, Malema was raised on an electric platform like a king.
Sporting his signature red beret, the self-proclaimed ‘freedom fighter’ mimicked the sound of a sub-machine gun — ‘Pah, pah, brrr!’ — as he shouted out his race-baiting song calling for the death of his white countrymen.
This ugly rally marked the 10th anniversary of the founding of Malema’s party, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). It declares itself Marxist-Leninist, wants to seize private property without compensation — particularly farms such as Theo Bekker’s — just as Malema’s hero, Robert Mugabe, did in neighbouring Zimbabwe.
In the past 20 years there has been a farm attack every two days and a murder every five days, with whites of Afrikaans or English descent mainly targeted.
Andrew Kenny, a respected South African commentator, said recently: ‘The ANC has been a disaster, especially for ordinary black people whom it has impoverished while making a tiny ANC elite fabulously rich.
‘After apartheid, our electricity provided the world’s cheapest energy; freight trains carried our ore (from the mines) to the ports; there was a good passenger network for workers. The ANC wrecked it with looting, corruption and a plethora of racist policies.’
The result has been economic collapse and mass exodus. A fifth of whites — both Afrikaans and English speakers — have left since the ANC came to power.
Emigration among the entrepreneurial Indian-descended community is high, too.
Meanwhile, the middle class have abandoned the ANC-controlled cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria in the north — now plagued by no-go areas, ransacked shops, gang warfare and other crime fuelled by unemployment.
They have settled in the Western Cape, the only part of South Africa that is run by the moderate Democratic Alliance.
The speed of the country’s descent has been devastating. Today, only 12 per cent of South Africans of working age pay income tax, while a third survive on £15-a-month state handouts.
World Bank analysts say a staggering 42 per cent of the adult population — the majority black — is unemployed.“
[Daily Mail]
Several points to be made here.
First, Africa without European input descends inevitably to savagery. South Africa took longer than others to fall from being a fairly civilized country because it still had, in the 1990s, a fairly high proportion of European inhabitants. In 1911 it was 22%, and in 1980 still about 16%. That proportion has now dwindled to about 5%. Also, many of the more senior political and administrative positions are now filled, nominally, by blacks, selected purely on racial grounds.
Secondly, the black man was promised the Earth by the ANC and its stupid and/or uneducated leaders, starting with Mandela. The simpler type of South African black obviously believed that, once black “majority rule” (in reality, rule by a few, in a black semi-dictatorship) occurred, the blacks would all have the high standards of living of South African whites of the 1960s, 1970s or 1980s; houses, swimming pools, cars etc. In fact, for a few blacks, the leading ANC politicians, that did happen, but for the other 99.999% or more it did not.
The frustration of the South African blacks will be visited upon, not the ANC, but the remaining white people.
Thirdly, the lack of forethought etc under ANC rule became clear during the most recent drought, though wetter weather eventually saved Cape Town from disaster. That maladministration will eventually be seen in all sectors.
Finally, see how even the Daily Mail scribbler in the full report, one Sue Reid, still repeats the propaganda half-truths or untruths of the dim pro-ANC “British” msm of the 1980s/1990s: “cruel apartheid regime” etc…
If Indian money-juggler Sunak thinks that he can duck and dive by keeping the State Pension “Triple Lock” but clawing back money by taking away the Winter Fuel Allowance from many, perhaps most, pensioners, he is very mistaken. That would alienate pensioner voters, but without encouraging younger voters to vote Con in 2024.
Sweden (its ruling circles at least, together with complicit msm and courts etc) thought that the blacks and browns would just become “New Swedes”. They really were that stupid. Now look at the UK. Same nonsense.
The implementation of the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan (basically, to funnel non-white populations to Europe, in order to create over time a coffee-coloured population to be ruled over by an exploitative stratum, mostly consisting of Jews and part-Jews) is happening in front of our eyes; in plain sight, pretty much.

I wonder whether that horrible social “disintegration” may be what is necessary to awaken the British people to the need for social national radical reform. Germany only chose Hitler when events and circumstances had reduced most of the population to poverty and hopelessness. Only 2.6% voted for the NSDAP in 1928. By 1932 that was 33% and, by 1933, 44%.
Not only can they not create a civilization, many of them cannot even live in one created by others (broadly, the white man) without being completely destructive and useless. Parasites. Useless parasites.
We hear a great deal, mostly from (((the usual suspects))) about how the USA was built on waves on immigration, but that is at best a half-truth. “Migration could help to ‘dissolve’ the European Union due to deep differences between member states, the bloc’s top diplomat has warned.
He insisted that the war in Ukraine was not fuelling the current rows over migration, saying: ‘The issue is that migration pressure has been increasing, mainly due to wars – not the war against Ukraine…
‘It is the Syrian war, the Libyan war, the military coups in Sahel [a region in North Africa].
‘We are living in a circle of instability from Gibraltar to the Caucasus, and this happened before the Ukrainian war and will continue after the Ukrainian war.
‘Migration in Africa is not being caused by the war against Ukraine. The root causes of migration in Africa are lack of development, economic growth and bad governance.‘”

No doubt the reason for that is because “equal opportunities” at some point morphed into “some people are more equal than others”. I saw that both at the practising Bar (1991-1996 and 2002-2008) and when employed by (especially) a large City of London law firm on a 6-month contract in 1996.
In the latter situation, I saw how the relevant partners of that firm, quite obviously running scared of the whole feminism/”glass ceiling” situation, and with many links to high circles of the British Government, appointed as partner in charge of “emerging markets” (basically, the former Soviet Union), an “Australian” woman of semi-Russian background who seemed to know no law (outside that of New South Wales), and whose only qualification for the job seemed to be fluent Russian.
Disastrous (said woman was incapable of being in charge of anything), but when later eased out after several expensive scandals, said woman and waste of space was able to get herself another similar position elsewhere (and probably on similar remuneration— about a million ££ per year), until she messed up there too, and had to return to her native Australia (she became a trade envoy in the end, I believe).
I think that the problem there, and often elsewhere, is that you have —or had at that time, 25-30 years ago— a lot of English male lawyers who had basically been pretty much under the thumb of women all their lives: nannies, mothers and aunts, school matrons, and later wives, and they plainly wanted to “virtue-signal” (as people now say) by appointing a few token women to high positions. In the law firm to which I refer, there were several dozen full partners at the time (1996) but only one woman, as far as I recall, until the Russian-speaker was appointed.
Interesting. Whether the story or the meetings will affect the 2024 General Election is an unknown. I rather doubt it, inasmuch as the public still seem split on Brexit, though perhaps now there might be a small majority in favour of rejoining the EU after the disastrous mishandling of it all by the last few Prime Ministers and their governments.

“This is the reason I eat 6/7 whole eggs daily not just one:
The egg is a wholesome, nutritious food with high nutrient density because, in proportion to its calorie count, it provides 12% of the daily value of protein and a wide variety of other nutrients such as vitamins, essential amino acids and minerals. While protein itself is an important constituent of healthy diet, the egg has been found to have two newly-recognized nutrients – lutein and zeaxanthin – that has put the egg in the “functional food” category. A functional food is one that provides health benefits beyond its basic nutrient content. The health benefits you get by eating eggs are as follows.
•Eggs do not raise blood cholesterol: It is true that when you eat eggs, cholesterol enters your body. However, eggs also give a signal for the liver to stop producing the cholesterol it usually produces. The increase in the intake of cholesterol compensates for the decrease in the cholesterol produced by the liver and therefore keeps the blood cholesterol levels constant.
•Eggs have choline: Choline is an incredibly important nutrient for your body. This is because it helps build cell membranes and is also crucial when it comes to the production of certain signalling molecules in the brain. A single egg has about 100 milligrams of this nutrient and therefore is one of the best sources of it.
•Eggs are good for your eyes: Eggs have two very important nutrients for your eyes. These are Lutein and Zeaxanthin. These nutrients stop degenerative processes from occurring in the eye. Recent studies have shown that consuming lutein and zeaxanthin can significantly lower risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of blindness affecting people over the age of 65. In addition, these reduce the likelihood of cataracts.
•Eggs have high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids: Eggs that are boiled have a high level of Omega-3 fatty acids in them. Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for reducing the chances of you suffering from heart disease due to the fact that it reduces your triglyceride levels.
•Eggs are an excellent source of protein: This is the biggest reason to eat eggs. Eating eggs helps you to lose weight, optimizing bone health and lowering blood pressure.
•Egg may reduce the risk of stroke: Studies have shown that eggs are not only good for your heart, but they also reduce the likelihood of suffering from a stroke.

In the recent case, Lewis came unstuck when he was acting for Richard Davidoff of ABC Estates, a lettings and leasehold management firm. Lewis was seeking a court order requiring Google to disclose the identities of people with gmail addresses who had left negative reviews about ABC Estates on Trustpilot. The evidence in support of the court order was two witness statement by Lewis. The judge described Lewis’ evidence in general as “nothing more than assertion” and “perfunctory, even desultory” and “simply not good enough” to justify making the court order.
Things then got much worse for Lewis. He had stated that the Trustpilot reviews were “false, fabricated statements which Unknown person(s) know are untrue”. The judge conducted some online research himself and found that one of the reviews was true and based on the findings of another court. The judge said it was:
a matter of very real concern that the Claimants put evidence before the Court, on an ex parte application, that was not true.
The judge did not require Lewis to provide an explanation for the evidence that was “seriously in error” and accepted that Lewis would not have knowingly misled the court. The judge’s explained Lewis’ evidence as being:
because he had simply failed to carry out sufficient (or any) research or to take adequate instructions from his clients.
The judge also stated that there had been a “significant failure” by Lewis to comply with the general obligation of full and frank disclosure. The judge refused all the applications and the escapade is likely to have costs Lewis’ clients tens of thousands of pounds. Perhaps Lewis’ claim against Michael Rosen would have ended in the same way?
Mr Justice Nicklin’s full judgment is available here, with comments about Lewis’s contribution from paragraph 84 onwards.
Mark Lewis is a former director of UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) until his emigration to Israel and was involved in the relaunch of right-wing pro-Israel group Herut UK. UKLFI locked access to a YouTube video in which a panel discussed Lewis’s “very handy way of bankrupting organisations” the group considered to have done ‘wrong’. However, a transcript of the discussion is still available.
In 2018, Lewis was fined by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority for abusive speech on social media toward a young Labour-supporting critic and others.“
[Skwawkbox]
Some of my blog posts from past years about the egregious Lewis:
Lewis was (is still?) a “Patron” of the malicious Jew-Zionist cabal known as the “Campaign Against Anti-Semitism” or “CAA”.
Incidentally, the title “Patron” does not indicate financial support. When Lewis was censured and fined by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority a few years ago, his fine was reduced by two-thirds after his Counsel told the tribunal that Lewis’s sole assets were his clothes, a private pension worth £70 a week, and a used mobility scooter! So much for the so-called (sometimes, but only by the naive and ignorant) “top lawyer”! He then scuttled off to Israel.
Here's Mark Lewis formerly of UK Lawyers for Israel, attendee at launch of extremist Herut UK, getting into bother for retailing untrue evidence.
“Richard Davidoff, of ABC Estates, and his legal team bungled a high court attempt to force Google to reveal the identities of online reviewers whose comments they claimed were false and defamatory.
The case unravelled after libel lawyer Mark Lewis, of Patron Law, accused one reviewer of writing a “false, fabricated statement” that referenced the decision by ARMA and IRPM to expel ABC Estates and Richard Davidoff.
Mr Justice Nicklin became peppery in his ruling (below, pp84-89) as his own “basic online research” revealed that this allegation was in fact true…”
“It is a matter of very real concern that the Claimants put evidence before the Court, on an ex parte application, that was not true.
“Mr Lewis has not provided an explanation to the Court for this error (I have not required him to provide one). Nevertheless, I accept that Mr Lewis would not have knowingly misled the Court.
“It is likely that this error occurred because he had simply failed to carry out sufficient (or any) research or to take adequate instructions from his clients. Nevertheless, as a result, he included a statement in his witness statement that was seriously in error. That error was not detected (or corrected) by the Claimants.“
[Mr. Justice Nicklin, in the High Court]
The High Court judge accepted that Lewis “would not have knowingly misled the Court” (but why accept that? Lewis is hardly a credible witness). Still, as the extract shows, Lewis (once again) “bungled” his work…
“The judge [also] said “the underlying claims in defamation are hopelessly weak”.
[Mr. Justice Nicklin, reported by LKP]
Neither Lewis nor the Counsel in the case (also used by Lewis in other cases in the past several years) seem to have taken that last into account.
I agree with some of what Stewart says; in much of it I was there 30+ years ahead of him, though that is not entirely his fault, he being 16-17 years my junior in years.

Believing that infections were the key to mental illness, he had his staff remove teeth and various other body parts that might become infected from the hospital patients. Cotton’s legacy of hundreds of fatalities and thousands of maimed and mutilated patients did not end with his leaving Trenton in 1930 or his death in 1933; in fact, removal of patients’ teeth at the Trenton asylum was still the norm until 1960.[3]“

In fact, I have never been heavily either pro or anti “Tommy Robinson”. That is because, though he can seem an engaging fellow, and though we did swap a couple of amused or joking comments on Twitter perhaps 7 or 8 years ago, he is a political and ideological nullity.

Well, there it is. Two or three days of msm hot air comes to an end, along with (tomorrow—thank God, at last) the meteorological hot air over England.
I know little about the case or the person in question, but what I have read, or seen on TV news, has led me to think that this was not some James Bond/Rambo/SAS fantasy secret operative but more of, in the msm’s own words, a “resourceful” young man who was said to be rather a “loner“. So probably not sprung from prison by a secret service possessed of diabolical cunning and well-oiled organization.
Probably, this was a fit, resourceful young man, only 21, who saw that Wandsworth Prison was/is an overcrowded, poorly-staffed, poorly-run institution with potential holes in its security. He decided to see whether he could make an escape attempt work, and chanced it. It seems to have been similar to some of the escapes POWs in Germany tried during the Second World War.
Again, looking at what is known, I wonder whether the fugitive is really the “dangerous terrorist” and “spy” he has been painted. Judging purely from what has been put out by the msm, I doubt it. It seems to me that we may be in sledgehammer nut-cracking territory here…
When George Blake escaped in 1966, there was another and even bigger mass media feeding frenzy. Everyone from the Fleet Street reporters to the police, MI5, and MPs assumed that the KGB had sprung Blake.
It turned out, years later, that in fact the prison break had not been masterminded by the KGB or some shadowy “Karla” or Markus Wolf figure, but an alcoholic Irish ex-prisoner and prison acquaintance of Blake, helped by a ragtag “army” (or platoon) of outraged dissidents, most of whom were not even pro-Communist.
The first the KGB knew of it, beyond what was in the newspapers, was when a camper-van driven by two non-Communist dissidents (I think that they were somewhere in the CND/Quaker area, ideologically) turned up at the DDR (East German) border, Blake having been concealed behind panelling.
Yes, all too many unthinking people (ironically, often those who consider themselves educated) will say that “Britain has always had migration— look at the Saxons, Vikings, the Normans, the Huguenots etc“, ignoring the fact that, in big-picture terms, those peoples were all of the same race (all “post-Aryans”, if you like); indeed, the Normans were actual Vikings who had settled in Normandy a few generations previously.
Totally different from importation of millions of blacks and browns, both in quality and quantity, but can you tell the brainwashed that? No. The brainwashing has gone too deep, in most cases.
1 in 4 people in England is not English, Aaron. Our largest 4 cities are majority non-English.
Whatever lying books, TV shows, and films may now present, the fact is that England was a basically white European country during my 1960s childhood (I was born in 1956). Probably 99%. Even in the 1970s that was so, though less so after a decade or so of mass immigration.
Now, Britain is somewhere around 80%-85% white European, and England itself perhaps 75%-80%. What matters is the direction of travel, though. By 2050, the percentage of white European people in England and Wales will probably have declined to about 50%. You can already see what is coming in the demographics of school-age children. Bastani says that “only” 35% are non-white. By 2050, that will probably be something like 75%…
White (i.e. real English) people, as a group, are now not reproducing. They either have no children, or have one or two children, not more. Not enough even to maintain the present white population in absolute terms, let alone in proportional or percentage terms. Meanwhile, the non-white part of the UK population is breeding fast, and the non-whites often have several children.
Add to that the Englishwomen who have children with non-whites, often actual blacks (usually white women with black men, rather than the reverse), and you can see what a demographic disaster is already coming down the track at us.
That is even before you factor-in the continuing migration-invasion (both “legal” and illegal). Between half a million and a million a year, 95% or more are non-white.
It’s very simple, people are either concerned about becoming a minority, like us. Or they actively want British people to become a minority, like mr bastani and apparently those in government.

British colonel: Western countries want to sell Ukraine cheaply and – as soon as possible
RICHARD KEMP: THE WEST IS – JUST TWO YEARS AFTER AFGHANISTAN – AGAIN BEFORE ADMITTING DEFEAT
NATO has lost hope in the victory of Ukraine, said retired British colonel Richard Kemp.
“NATO has lost hope in the victory of Ukraine, said retired British colonel Richard Kemp.
In an article he wrote for The Telegraph, commenting on the statement by NATO Secretary General Styan Jensen’s chief of staff that Ukraine could join the North Atlantic Alliance if it cedes territory to Russia, Kemp assessed that this was a factual admission of how the West sees the solution to the conflict in Ukraine: “It seems that the leading Western countries want to sell Ukraine cheaply and as soon as possible.”
The British officer added that the West – just two years after its shameful withdrawal from Afghanistan – is “once again on the verge of admitting defeat”.”
The fact that Kemp is speaking out in such terms as above-noted may indicate a System worry that the “Ukraine” (Kiev regime) cause may have lost the support of the public, if not to a pro-Russian position then to an unbiased and/or apathetic view.
Also, Kemp’s comments may indicate that some decision-makers in the West have come to the view that Zelensky’s corrupt, shambolic, and brutal dictatorship cannot win, strategically, against Russia in Ukrainian (or former Ukrainian) territory, let alone on the territory of Russia itself.
Nadine Dorries
Conservative MP Nadine Dorries resigns Commons seat, two months after promising to quit, telling UK PM Rishi Sunak "history will not judge you kindly" https://t.co/gx0p7vvSiv
Seems that that useless expenses freeloader, Nadine Dorries, is actually going to stand down. In a way, slightly surprising. I thought that she might try to hang on until 2024 and the next general election.
The bigger question is how she, and literally hundreds of other totally stupid and ignorant MPs (not only “Conservative” one; Labour and LibDem and SNP ones too) ever became MPs (let alone ministers) in the first place. My question is of course rhetorical; the whole pseudo-democratic system is broken.

Slava! All the same, that central westward thrust from Dnipro (Dnepropetrovsk) to Vinnitsa looks to me unnecessary and possibly counterproductive.
Russia needs to secure all territory east of the Dnieper, and also the coastal littoral of the Black Sea (including Odessa) but, above all, Kiev itself. Confine the Zelensky regime to a rump inland “state” based on Lvov.
The map shows, supposedly, something akin to the original scheme, but it probably is still the overall strategy.
The Bürgerbräukeller, Munich, in or about 1923, shown above presumably before rather than after the “Beer Hall Putsch” (8-9 November 1923 :https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_Hall_Putsch).
The photo shows a meeting of the NSDAP. All those shown in the photo were members or supporters of the NSDAP.
What interests me is that, at that time, the NSDAP was a relatively minor party even in its hub, Bavaria (in early 1923, the national membership was about 6,000, and by the Autumn of 1923 about 20,000).
In May 1924, i.e. after the failure of the “Beer Hall Putsch” (aka “Munich Putsch” or “Hitler-Ludendorff Putsch), the NSDAP (banned, so using the name “National Socialist Freedom Movement”) scored only 6.5% in the federal (national) elections, and only 3% in December 1924.
In 1923-1924, the NSDAP had the sort of minor public support that, in the UK of the 21st Century, UKIP was enjoying about a decade ago, and that the BNP had about 15 years ago.
All the same, look at that photograph of the NSDAP meeting in 1923. Many hundreds of people, at the least. All looking decently-dressed.
One cannot but help compare that to the tiny so-called “far-right” (national and social-national) parties of today’s Britain.
The main difference politically between Germany in 1923 and Britain in 2023 is, that in 1923 Germany, there were large numbers of Germans of all social and income groups who supported the idea of national renewal. The NSDAP may only have had a few thousand or tens of thousands of members, but other volkisch parties and groups, such as, and primarily, the Stahlhelm, had the same or more, in some cases hundreds of thousands: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Stahlhelm,_Bund_der_Frontsoldaten.
Look now at Britain in 2023. The degenerate strata of higher-income and high-social-status groups do not, generally, support national renewal, but are (metaphorically) signed up to the trends which are destroying our society (and now destroying it quite rapidly).
What that means is that, should social-nationalism, by a political miracle (which I do not rule out) take power in this country, it will have to start its mission by removing surgically, and by drastic surgery, large sections of degenerate society, at all income and social-status levels.

I bet Matthew Parris doesn’t do a 60 hour week and have people shouting at you or trying to undermine your work. I bet he works at home in a cosy cottage in a village somewhere in the English countryside (grade 2 minimum cottage obs)
That latter tweeter is right. Parris, when not in London, does live in such a cottage (in Derbyshire). I see now from Wikipedia that he also has a place in Spain.
Parris himself has really never had a job as such, unless you include his unsuccessful two years as trainee diplomat and his likewise disastrous stint as correspondence secretary to Mrs. Thatcher: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Parris.
Having said that, Parris often writes uncomfortable truths, but I think not in this case, perhaps because he has never had the experience of doing a “real” job in the real world.
Likewise, as the tweeter below points out, PIP (the successor-benefit to the now-disappearing Disability Living Allowance or DLA) , is not an out-of-work benefit, and is thus disregarded from income for benefit purposes.
Parris thus follows in the footsteps of many scribblers, TV talking heads, and radio presenters, as well as MPs, who talk about State benefits and/or pensions out of ignorance, not knowing the most basic facts.
In 1983 Matthew Parris came to Scotswood in Newcastle upon Tyne to see if he could beat the dole system by living on unemployment benefit for 7 days – he failed and he apologised for believing he could. Maybe he should think about this before he types.

Some people are just incredibly fortunate in life. I mean, look at Houchen: born 1986, was a student until about 2008 or 2009, when he became (I think, not sure) a solicitor. He may have worked as a solicitor for a couple of years (again, not sure about that), and his political career to date has consisted of being a local councillor for 5-6 years (2011-2017), then Mayor of Tees Valley (2017-2023 and continuing), and now (thanks to “Boris” Johnson) a member of the House of Lords.
Incidentally, when Houchen was elected in 2017, I tipped him on this blog as someone to watch, having heard him on the radio. I was right, but in more than one way…
So now, in personal financial terms, Houchen is riding high— £65,000+ as Mayor of Tees Valley, plus expenses —not a fortune but better than poke in eye with sharp stick— and £350 a day plus extra expenses whenever he turns up (even for half a hour) at the Lords, on any sitting day. So well over £100,000 a year, perhaps, plus generous expenses. Not bad for someone still only 36, and who has only just about (for ~2 years) done any real/non-political job (as a local solicitor in his native region).
Whether there was actual corruption involved in the Redcar Steelworks affair (scandal), I do not know. Questions have certainly been raised. £45M has gone missing.

#bbcaq Rishi Sunak thinks awarding 100 new licences to drill in the North Sea is the "right thing to do" because it means a nice pay day for his wife and father-in-law. Typical Tory corruption. https://t.co/S1BesHWPq2
Import into the UK (or the rest of Europe) the various races and groups of Asia, Africa etc, and you import with them their political ethics (or lack of), their moneygrubbing, and the rest of it. Don’t be so surprised, and do not imagine that a few years at Winchester or Eton, or Oxford University, will make much difference.
Massive amount of house building in Oxfordshire. Just joining up the villages. But, this is the point, not one has solar panels on the roof!! Why not. It should be law of the land for all new build houses and factories to have solar panels. Politicians, please catch up! #bbcaq
I also think that new houses ought to have some kind of built in rainwater storage, to be used for gardens or, in extremis, washing and cooking. When I was working and living on a small Caribbean island about 24 years ago, my villa (like most of any size there) was built around a water tank. No mains water where I lived.
All water for bathroom and kitchen came from the tank, and it never ran out (despite rain being rare outside the hurricane season). Drinking water one had to buy. I usually bought filtered and cleaned (via ultraviolet light) Miami tapwater, costing (1999 prices) USD $5 or $6 per U.S. gallon. Sounds expensive (maybe $9 or $10 in 2023 money) but it would last me several days.

While of course prisoners have to be restrained from carrying out vigilante justice, equally naturally they are often disgusted at being forced to live around persons as evil as that. His crimes and, even more so, planned crimes, were appalling.
Justice is, as St. Thomas Aquinas noted, “immanent”— ingrained in human beings; inherent. Even the “lawless” have their own code of laws or rules, usually.

Ah…a terrible result for me too this week, one of the worst in the past several years of doing this Saturday quiz. I was even beaten by political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 4/10 points; this week I could manage only a mere 3/10. I only knew the answers to questions 3, 6, and 10. Had I thought longer, I should have got numbers 5 and 8 as well, but there it is.
Incidentally, question 6 may have been wrongly-put anyway (though I still got the answer); some people think that the phrase in question only originated in or about 1964, not 1956. I certainly thought so until today.

Piers Morgan talking about “where the line is” on satire, i.e. as to when should it not exist, when might it even be deemed unlawful. Of course, Morgan is just another msm moneygrubber and careerist who knows that, to continue his lucrative nonsense, he has to keep in with the Jew-Zionist cabals which, to a large extent, control and/or influence the TV industry and the msm in general.
TV shows have, for well over 60 years, “offended” the British people. No redress…
…and guess what group, more than any other, has “offended” the British people, slandered them, trashed their beliefs, culture, and way of life? That’s right…
Morgan even has the gall to claim that he supports freedom of expression, presumably excepting from that any situation where a Jew, or a group of Jews, however small in number, claims “offence” (and the “Campaign Against AntiSemitism” is really very small, just a handful of Jew-Zionists tweeting and causing trouble, making false and malicious complaints to police, Twitter, MPs, cafes or local authorities showing anti-Zionist films or hosting anti-Zionist comedians etc; but wealthy Jews stumped up £600,000+ last year so that the “CAA” could continue with what many call “lawfare” against freedom of expression).

The Church of England stopped being a spiritual organization many many years ago. The pro-Israel, pro-Jew-Zionist C. of E. under Welby is merely the gravestone on top.
The Labour Party, under Jewish-lobby puppets Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper etc, is on track, arguably, to form a government in 2024 (though the fat lady has not yet sung), but that fake “popularity” is wholly by default, because we the people have, at present, a Conservative Party regime so corrupt, shambolic, and useless that even fairly hard-core former Conservative Party voters are either voting elsewhere or, in far greater numbers, abstaining in by-elections.
The “Labour surge” in the opinion polls is purely that— contempt for the Conservative Party government’s uselessness, which has been the case since the 2010 election that brought the part-Jews, David Cameron-Levita and George Osborne to power.
That shambolic inability to govern properly continued under (also part-Jewish) Theresa May and then (this becomes ridiculous) part-Jew Boris Johnson and his cronies. Then, of course, we endured a few weeks of utter nonsense under ignorant little careerist “ho” Liz Truss and her “African at Eton” Chancellor, Kwasi (aka Woollyhead Trussbanger). Liz Truss was then sacked (by any other word) and replaced by Indian money-juggler Rishi Sunak, arguably the least convincing of the lot (apart from, obviously, Liz Truss and Woollyhead Trussbanger).
In the above-noted circumstances, and after 13+ years (except during the “Covid” “panicdemic” of 2020-22) of “austerity” policies, which were actually counter-productive, it is scarcely surprising that people are more than unenthusiastic (contemptuous, despairing) about the Conservative Party.
There again, Starmer-Labour is now not even promising much of a change from the policies (if they can be so dignified) of the present Conservative Party omnishambles. In fact, the difference is mostly meaningless hot air from Starmer and, mainly, Rachel Reeves.
Labour Party rank-and-file members (who numbered, under Corbyn, about 600,000, but who now number about 385,000 and that number falling fast), may well think “what is the point in tramping round streets canvassing etc, just so that a ‘Con-lite’, Jewish-lobby, Starmer government can be installed and then carry out policies almost identical to those of Sunak?”
This is the moment when, if we had a truly open “democracy”, a social-national party might sweep the board. However, here again we come up against the well-entrenched Jew-Zionist lobby, which makes sure (so far) that anything even mildly “national”, let alone social-national, is demonized, using all the msm puppets and controlled outlets, and ranging from news to (unfunny) comedy. One example would be Baddiel, perhaps, arguably, describable as “the unthinking man’s Jonathan Miller“.
Reverting to the semi-rigged battle between equally-misnamed “Labour” and “Conservative”, it seems to me that, in the expected 2024 General Election, the most important factor will not be ideological division, nor any enthusiasm for either System party, but how many voters will abstain, and where, and why.
The steady and fairly considerable outflow of Labour Party members will not be decisive at its present rate, not before 2025. About 5,000 per month. In 17 months (i.e. until the last possible date of the next general election), that might be 90,000, out of 385,000 members at present.
It may be that, in a general election, voter abstentions on the Con side will be fewer than at the recent by-elections, and that there may be many more than expected on the Lab side. Also, that Starmer and Rachel Reeves and Yvette Cooper will be quite literally hated so much that many may either abstain, or vote non-Labour, simply to prevent their having power.
I do not describe myself as a “conspiracy theorist”, but it is certainly true that, in the years since I have been running this blog, most of my predictions or those with which I have agreed, have indeed come to pass.
That one sounds like an enemy of the British people. The System gave him an OBE. What does that say? That the System itself is also the enemy of the British people.

Not “insane” exactly, but signed up to a transnational conspiracy which has taken on certain shibboleths: the “trans” nonsense, the whole “Covid” “panicdemic”/”scamdemic”, the “holocaust” farrago and other Jewish-lobby propaganda, “standing with” “Ukraine” (Kiev regime), “Black Lives Matter”, “refugees welcome”, and so on.
Incidentally, interesting that “I stand with Ukraine” is a construction only ever seen otherwise in “I stand with Israel“…

My view is that there is nothing wrong anyway with being “racist” or “antisemitic” in a defensive way. There is certainly nothing unlawful about either, as such, in England, as judges have repeatedly confirmed.

If you vote Labour now and/or in 2024 (not in 1926, not in 1945, not in 1966, not in 1979, not even in 1997, but now, or next year), you are voting for people such as Lisa Nandy, Keir Starmer etc, who are so intellectually dishonest that they cannot distinguish a man from a woman, cannot distinguish themselves from Sunak and his pack of idiots on policy, and who, just like the “Conservatives”, are totally in the pocket of the Israel lobby.

Sanctions against Russia have mostly hurt the EU, the UK, and the USA, not Russia. Western and Central Europe is facing economic and socio-political meltdown if inflation continues to rise and incomes to drop.
Russia (unlike Ukraine) is a world nuclear power, with maybe 6,000 usable nuclear weapons; it has hundreds of millions of people, and territory nearly twice the size of the USA (and over 70 times the size of the UK).
Much of the world outside the NATO alliance is at least neutral towards Russia, and many states are with Russia on Ukraine.
Russia is benefiting financially from oil and gas sales to non-sanctions countries, and they are benefiting from trade with Russia, trade much of which was formerly USA-Russia or EU-Russia.
Ukraine simply cannot “win” against Russia, however many tanks and other pieces of equipment are supplied to the regime in Kiev. It is a logical impossibility. The only possibilities, in the medium-term, say up to 2030, are Russian victory over the whole of the eastern part of Ukraine, as well as Crimea and the Black Sea coastal zone, or a stalemate, after which US/EU/UK support for the Kiev regime will eventually fall away.
The next US President will probably scale back US support for Zelensky and his regime, and will almost certainly not increase it.
