I favour a free-at-point-of-use NHS service, but only for British people, not for “health tourists” and all manner of riff-raff. How such a service can be funded is an open question. How such a service can be staffed is another question. The aim should be for the UK to train its own doctors and nurses, for one thing, and they should be forced to work in the NHS, and not allowed to emigrate to the white Commonwealth or elsewhere, for several years (in the case of doctors, perhaps 10 years).
Back in the 1970s, even 1980s, despite many Press stories about deficiencies, the NHS did work, most of the time. Now, mass immigration and NHS maladministration has ruined it.
Management, or rather mismanagement, is one of the really major problems with the NHS.
I see that the propaganda campaign is being readied to pretend to the public that they, the public, are to blame for the NHS not working properly, because they, the public, are actually requesting the services that the NHS is supposed to provide.
This winter, the NHS will not easily be able to blame the 2020-2022 “Covid” “panicdemic” for its inability to run itself properly, and it has been 3 or 4 years since other illnesses or conditions (eg “flu”) were blamed (almost every winter for many years).
If and when the UK has a real government, it must tackle the healthcare mess and the associated adult social care mess as a priority.
One idea might be to use a “dedicated” or “ring-fenced” tax only for the NHS. “National Insurance”, which is merely another tax on top of income tax, is paid into general government funds. If it, or a large part of it, were only usable for health services, the taxpayers would accept it far more readily, especially under a suitable name such as the unoriginal but easily-understood “Health Services Tax”. It is claimed that that would be less efficient; I think not.
Another point: blaming the consumer, or worker, or citizen, now seems to be “a thing” in the UK.
NHS not working right? It’s because Joe Public actually has a medical problem and wants it dealt with. Water shortage? It’s the fault of the public, because they actually want to have a bath or shower, and to water their plants. People cannot live on peanuts? It’s their fault, for being unable to “budget”, or cook, or enjoy “fasting” (going without food— yes, the Daily Telegraph suggested even that recently).

I did not see the report. In the past I have seen several such “exposures” of the social-national side of British politics, both on TV and in the Press (“Lugenpresse”/”Judenpresse”), starting in the 1970s. Such reports have been on various groups or individuals: National Front, League of St. George, British Movement, British National Party, the London Forum etc. Such reports tend to be much of a muchness.

It did. Both sides in what is now the war in Ukraine are running short of supplies, we read. Perhaps. The Russian forces can be resupplied overall, though there may be greater shortages in some specific geographical areas, but the Ukrainians (civilians and fighters) in the cities surrounded cannot be resupplied. Kiev itself is not completely surrounded, as yet.
Ammunition may be a bigger issue for the Ukrainian side than for the Russians. In any case, the weapons of most importance for the Ukrainian side are not small arms, but those donated free of charge by, mainly, the USA and UK— anti-tank and ground-to-air systems, able to be deployed by individuals or small groups. Without those weapons, Russia would by now be far more ahead in achieving its immediate tactical objectives.
Having said that, the civilians and soldiers in the besieged cities of the south and east cannot survive for long without food. Those cities will probably fall quite soon. When they do, huge Russian forces will move from the south and from the east towards Kiev.
I note that Zelensky is again calling for talks with Russia. He knows that he cannot win, as such, and so wants to stabilize the situation (eg by extended ceasefire, and open corridors) before cities now surrounded and under attack surrender or are destroyed.
Russia is going to win this war, in the short to medium term, even if most of its territorial gains are turned into scorched urban and rural wastelands. What happens further down the line is an open question.
This is not a war between very different nations and peoples. It is somewhere between that kind of war and a civil war. Had Russia managed to execute a Blitzkrieg lasting 2-3 days, taking Kiev, killing or capturing Zelensky, or at least driving him and his cabal to Lvov, and then almost simultaneously driving into Ukraine east of the Dnieper and along the Black Sea coast, this terrible humanitarian crisis would not have existed, certainly not on the present scale. There would not be the present war of attrition, would not have been the tragic and unpleasant loss and damage.
By supplying advanced weapons to the Kiev regime, the UK, USA, Poland, Germany, France are all just prolonging and making far worse this war, as it has now become.
Russia now has little choice but to wade through this ghastly mess to the bitter end. Now that the Ukrainian side (or Kiev regime side) has more, and more advanced, firepower, and is to be supplied with yet more, the Russian side will probably use wider, less targeted, and more brutal, weapons and tactics. It may even decide to replace much of the Ukrainian population, later, with Russian “colonists”, if any can be recruited.
If Putin’s forces withdraw from Ukraine, Ukraine will become a heavily-armed country, unsurprisingly also very hostile, whose borders will be (as now) only 300 miles from Moscow at the nearest point. The Kiev regime might even launch a missile attack, once it has the means, on Moscow itself.
That is why Russia will keep fighting.
As I have blogged previously, there is no doubt that, faced with the incredible (and to me, unexpected) incompetence of both the Russian General Staff (Stavka) and Army generally, and quite possibly that of the GRU, Stalin would have been shooting generals and heads of military intelligence by now.
As for “winning hearts and minds” etc, even Stalin’s brutal regime was far better at that than Putin and his supporters.
Because Russian commanders did not plan and execute a swift and relatively merciful seizure of power, a gigantic bloody mess has now been created. We read that as many as five million Ukrainians have left the country, something like 12% of the entire pre-invasion population.
As for Russia’s reputation in the wider world— trashed beyond repair, at least in the short-to-medium term.
It is true to say that, in the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, Stalin’s brutalities were less on view in the West. There was far less information available, his regime was far more brutal, and rather more efficient, than Putin’s, and there were innumerable Soviet agents, “fellow-travellers”, and (to use Lenin’s phrase) “useful idiots” around in the West.
Most of Stalin’s atrocities (Collectivization, deportations of entire populations, the GULAG system etc) were concealed from view. Russian cultural influence (both Soviet and pre-Soviet) was unaffected in the West, and Sovietism, though far worse in its policies and their implementation than other regimes (notably National Socialist Germany), generally got “a better Press”. The Jew element had much to do with that, of course.
Now, it looks very much as if the Ukrainian cities will be subjected to something not far short of a scorched earth policy.
Fighting in built-up areas requires a greater ratio of attackers vis a vis defenders, as compared to battle in open country. The Russians’ strengths— their armour, their jet fighters, attack helicopters, are all seen at most effective in open country, particularly treeless steppe. In cities, the defenders have the edge.
This is only going to get worse. What might have been an easy, swift, and almost bloodless strategic coup by Russia has become a human and public relations disaster worldwide, and without —so far— a clear military victory upon which a political imposition can be superimposed.

The latest news from Kiev (or, as the BBC and Sky now have it, “Keeev“):
“A little less than 2 million people have currently left. However, Kyiv has been transformed into a fortress. Every street, every building, every checkpoint has been fortified.” [the Mayor of Kiev, on Ukrainian TV, reported by AFP].
So about half of the Kiev population has fled.
Reports now seem to indicate that Russian troops are advancing on Kiev proper from the outer suburbs and surrounding areas.
One can only feel sorry for the non-combatants left in Kiev, many of whom may be too elderly, infirm, or poor to leave. Also, for the companion animals they may have.
It may be that Kiev will now be taken by Russian forces. Perhaps within a few days.
I presume that the Jew Zelensky and his close cabal will be extracted by American special forces at some point. One can only hope that Zelensky does not leave Kiev totally in ruins.
If there is as much resistance as the Kiev regime is suggesting, the “Battle for Kiev” may be as historically significant as the battles for Madrid, Moscow, or even Stalingrad.
Now that food has largely run out in Kiev and some other cities, the end-game cannot be far off, surely.
A tragic episode in Europe’s history, but one that cannot now be curtailed before the end is reached.

I think that I have only read one or two of his books, long ago, in the 1970s. He sold 140 million copies altogether. When I visited Rhodesia in 1977, I found that the only large (perhaps even, the only) bookshop in Salisbury (now Harare) sold few books from Europe or North America (because of the anti-Rhodesia sanctions imposed, and because of shortage of foreign currency). South African or locally-published books about how to look after your horse, dog, even tropical fish, seemed to be the main stock-in-trade. Those, and Wilbur Smith.

Some writers, some characters, do not translate well onto film, or are hard to film credibly. In my opinion, Raffles has never been brought to life successfully. The same could be said of Chesterton’s Father Brown stories.
One writer usually poorly-represented in the films of his books was Alistair Maclean; at least eleven of whose books were filmed. The best I have seen is probably Where Eagles Dare, though Ice Station Zebra is also not too bad. Even much-filmed John le Carre has often not translated well onto screen. The BBC series Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy was incomparable, its sequel, Smiley’s People, also very good (and another mini-series, A Perfect Spy, was not bad, lifted by the stellar performance of Peter Egan); le Carre’s stuff is better in such series format, hard to squeeze into the couple of hours of a feature film.
It may be that the best feature film adaptation of le Carre was the black and white The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, with Richard Burton:
I myself rarely read any kind of fiction now; when young, I did. In the adventure genre, my favourite was Hammond Innes [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammond_Innes]; rather forgotten now, I suppose. Four of his books were filmed, but (in my view) only one quite well, The White South, which was filmed as Hell Below Zero; the film contains historically-valuable, though unpleasant, footage of actual Antarctic whaling.
My favourite Hammond Innes book is The Strange Land, but it was never filmed.
Some writers’ books, which you would think would have made exciting films, never were filmed. Desmond Bagley [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desmond_Bagley] comes to mind. Adventure in tropical or other wild parts of the world: espionage, crime, treasure-hunting. I have only read a couple of his books. [Update, 14 November 2022: since writing the above, I have become aware that The Vivero Letterwas later, much later, filmed— in 1998, thirty years after the publication of the book. Desmond Bagley, like Hammond Innes, can create a credible and quite gripping world out of strange and unusual events.
Another author whose work went largely but not entirely unfilmed was Elleston Trevor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elleston_Trevor. His spy story The Berlin Memorandum, written under the nom de plume “Adam Hall”, was filmed as The Quiller Memorandum, though not very credibly, in my opinion. Trevor is arguably better known as the writer of the book The Flight of the Phoenix, filmed twice. As usual, the earlier film was the better by far.
Len Deighton himself (he is still around, presently aged 92) has had a number (I think three) of his early books filmed, and quite successfully, perhaps (?) because they are not as reflective and “psychological” as those of le Carre and some others. I repost tweets on the blog as a quick and easy way of making points or illustrating matters, but in fact Twitter has little real political influence. I have blogged in the past about this. I am always seeing accounts with, supposedly, thousands of “followers” yet only a handful of “likes” or retweets on any given tweet. Some accounts do get hundreds and even thousands of likes/retweets, but then you look at the profile and find that those accounts (mostly of the “famous”) have hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of Twitter followers.
As I have blogged previously, it says much about the self-describing “Left” that their big idea is to “deplatform” this or that person or organization. Nothing to say about society or how to form a better one; just negativity. That is why such people rarely get anywhere politically. Their lives revolve around Twitter. Many of the Zionist Jew cabal on Twitter are like that. They even have a word for themselves, “J-Twitter”.
As for the campaign of propaganda (not only “Covid” passports etc but the whole racemixing campaign), I was alerting the people to that years ago. Now, many are waking up.
However, that propaganda campaign is not aimed at people like me (65-y-o), nor indeed at those in their fifties or forties, nor even at those in their thirties and twenties. The Japanese, or many of them, treated Allied prisoners abominably during WW2. We, meaning the British, after the war ended, hanged or shot a relatively few and clearly proven war criminals, persons who had cruelly or brutally transgressed the accepted rules of war. The rest were released.
Now, nearly 80 years later, we do not seek out Japanese who were 18-y-o typists or even sentries, and put them on trial in a grotesque parody of courtroom “justice”, which is actually (in the case of of 90 or 100 year old SS men or German female ex-typists) a deliberately-contrived ordeal because of the defendants’ age and medical condition.
Likewise, no-one has suggested that those who, at age 18 or 16 were typists or security guards at, say, Los Alamos, should be tried for “facilitating” mass murder of Japanese civilians at Hiroshima. That would be not only unjust but, as said, grotesque.
The same could be said of British people who worked as typists or teenage Home Guard personnel etc at RAF bases from where bombers left to devastate the cities of the Reich in 1941-45, killing between 600,000-800,000 people, mostly civilians, mostly women and children.
The German bombings of the UK killed far fewer, 60,000 or so, but that was still devastation on a wide scale; yet the British do not constantly whine about it now, and did not at the time, or immediately after 1945.
The attitude of many Jews, particularly the hardcore Zionists, is at odds with the culture of Europeans, including British. So why the trials? Because the present German state is still, in a sense, “occupied”…
When American society finally collapses (and I think that that day will be much much sooner than 99.99% of other people think…), it will not be because of Jews, or blacks, or browns, or LGBTXYZ people, or finance-capitalist exploitation, or “woke” pseudo-socialism. I never thought much of Jeremy Corbyn, that unoriginal, poorly-educated, not particularly intelligent survival of 1970s London “socialist” meets “identity” politics. Corbyn, with his ludicrous “Cable Street”, “!Non Pasaran”, 1930s Popular Front-ism, his adulation of Fidel and Che (and, latterly, Chavez/Maduro).
Having said that, Corbyn, whose actual election as Labour leader was nothing short of miraculous, was recognizably British and, as I said in my blog, a type reminiscent of Labour people one met from time to time in the 1970s: the “Lenin” cap, the folded copy of, as it might be, Morning Star, Tribune, or Militant. The sort of fellow likely to be encountered at Collet’s London Bookshop in Charing Cross Road (a haunt of 1970s politicos of various sorts, and run by a little Jew).
Such people as Corbyn might also, I think, be encountered (though not by me) at local Labour or trade union meetings, steam fairs, heritage railways, the Durham Miners’ Gala, or the Tolpuddle Martyrs weekend.
I disagreed with much of Corbyn’s ideology, and with most of his (outdated and sometimes anti-British) policies. Having said that, he was decently anti-Zionist, though sadly gave lip-service to Zionist underpinnings such as the “holocaust” farrago and “anti-racism”, thus playing into the hands of the Jewish Zionist lobby, which itself is as “racist” as it gets, at root.
Zionism after all is basically a Jewish version of the Germanic “Blut und Boden” plus settler-colonialism (not that I oppose that…if done by real Europeans, though).
From the moment the Corbyn became Labour leader, there was a conspiracy launched against him. This was basically a Jewish/Zionist conspiracy, though making use of non-Jews (Chuka Umunna, Joan Ryan, Mary Creagh etc) and even the odd apostate Jew MP.
That conspiracy was funded by extremely wealthy Jew businessmen, and was able to rent quietly-situated houses in the country where secret meetings took place, and to utilize slush funds sourced directly from Israel.

Reverting to the Labour Party and Corbyn, the conspiracy continued for about 3 years. A few msm stories over recent years:
Of course, the msm stories never mentioned “Jews” or “Jewish” or “Israel”…it was all about how “moderates” wanted to oust “extremist” Corbyn, though the idea that Corbyn was “anti-Semitic” became a drumming tom-tom over time.
The first ploy was to hold a leadership election to remove Corbyn. That misfired when most ordinary Labour members voted Corbyn rather than for the little Welsh windbag who opposed him.
The 2017 General Election, though superficially poor for Labour, was no worse, in percentage terms, than had occurred under Miliband and Brown.
The (((lobby))) then increased pressure on Corbyn himself, trying to pressure him to resign. That too failed, because Corbyn’s strong suit is that he has the hide of a rhinoceros.
Then came the 2019 General Election, at which Labour crashed, and the msm crowed about how “Boris” had won by a “landslide“. In seats, true, an 80-seat majority. FPTP voting did its work.
In terms of percentages, though, the Conservative Party garnered 43.6% of the popular vote, only 1.2 points higher than the 42.4% of 2017.
Other factors existed, but one stands out— the daily drip-drip of msm and (less important) social media poison about “Corbyn the anti-Semite”, “Corbyn the friend of terrorists”, “Corbyn the extremist” etc. BBC, Sky, the newspapers….and guess “what sort of people” are often the political editors and scribblers? That’s right… Zionist Jews.
Just off the top of my head, I can think of several organizations of mainstream media where the political editor(s) are Jewish: Sky News, LBC, various newspapers. No doubt other TV stations, radio stations and social media platforms are the same.

The first tweeter, a scribbler who describes herself as “zionist“, and who has (supposedly) nearly 40,000 Twitter “followers”, asks the question. She gets just over a thousand retweets from her “followers” (and/or stray Twitter readers).
That may or may not mean that 39,000 of her “followers” either disagree with her, or cannot be bothered to retweet, or that they think that she should have given an alternative option such as “like” for “No”, or even “history can be and should be examined and revised, because an asserted “fact”, or asserted “facts”, are not a religious article of faith but a matter for consideration of all or any evidence.”
Still, there are 65 million inhabitants in the UK, and only about a thousand agreed with the proposition. 1 out of every 65,000. Or to put it another way, only 1 out of every 40 of her own supposed Twitter “followers”.
Speaks volumes…
As to the second tweeter, he/she does not seem to have considered that 39,000 out of 40,000 “followers” disagree, that even some Jews think that history is a moveable feast, revision necessary and even inevitable, and that people have the right to question such doubtful propaganda as comprise the “holocaust” farrago.
Ah. I see now that the first tweeter is in the USA, so the proportion either not agreeing with her, and/or not interested in her silly tweet, is many times even the above figures.

Nick Griffin, Mark Collett, and Patriotic Alternative
I have never met either of the above individuals. Moreover, I do not “support” either, as such, and I do not oppose either, as such. Nick Griffin did well to turn the BNP into a machine capable of at least winning a few EU and local election seats prior to 2010. As for Mark Collett, I like what little I see online about Patriotic Alternative, inasmuch as they are at least doing things on the ground, even if those activities are only going on hikes and putting up banners at various places.
It is hard for an outsider like me to come to any firm view as to whether one or the other is more or less worthy or meritorious. I cannot think that either of those sides or groups is “what Britain needs”, as such, but “all roads lead to Rome” is, I suppose, my basic attitude.
It will take more than opposition to the “panicdemic” to make me like Alex Jones, but his main point is worthwhile.
Interesting to note that Jones’s type of free speech would not be permitted in the UK: OFCOM would “unperson” him at once. In fact, Jones would probably end up getting prosecuted on some bs Mickey Mouse charge or other.
People generally tend to think of Sovietism as having come into being purely under conditions of political violence. Much of its consolidation in the early years, however, took place under what were basically conditions of near-chaos. Rudolf Steiner referred, in 1918 or 1919, to the “impossible social conditions” in Russia (it did not become the Soviet Union until 1923 —officially, 22 December 1922—; the 33-year cycle of world politics and society, again).
What conditions were “impossible?” Shortages caused by official policy, weird laws, “rules”, “advice” etc. People getting sacked, quarantined, arrested for crazy small things, or because their faces did not fit in the New Order, or because they were “former people” who remembered that things had once been mainly better. Also, gradually more severe restrictions on movement, particularly travel outside the country.
Does any of this seem familiar? Yes, the old “socialism”, Marxism-Leninism, even social democracy, started to disappear rather fast after 1989 (again, that 33-year cycle), but the essentials are there, meaning especially the lunacy that becomes dogma, with harsh enforcement of crazy “rules”, supposed “laws” etc. Look at what has happened in the UK and in many other countries in 2020-2021.
The facemask nonsense, the arbitrary “rule of six”, “2 metres social distancing”, the absurd enforcement of those and other crazy “rules” and the “advice” (whims) of idiotic ministers etc, enforced by dim and/or brainwashed police. Arrests of people doing perfectly ordinary things such as walking in the country, sitting on park benches, sunbathing on beaches, going for a recreational car or bike ride outside the local area. Oh, and don’t forget the socially-mandated “clapathon”, idiots clapping on command outside their houses, notionally “for the NHS”, which NHS was pared back to a kind of skeleton service in reality.
All underpinned by a huge propaganda “fear campaign” in the msm.
It is hard to people now to understand how the Russian Revolution gradually became a total police state. Why did more people not resist? Why did many people comply, and even support the embedded nonsense? These things are not easy to spot whe they are happening. Look around you.
I am not just talking about the “Covid-19” situation. The pushing of the “Black LIves Matter” nonsense too: every ad with blacks in it, or with the multikulti “family” (often a white woman, often blonde, and a black man as husband figure). While I hear what Nick Griffin says, I think that it is wrong to kick someone who is down, particularly on these facts, and particularly when the individual concerned has been targeted by both the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] fake “charity” and the collusive NWO/ZOG police state.
Where I tend to agree with Griffin, if that is part of his point, is that broadcasting podcasts etc has only a limited utility because podcasts etc have only a limited reach. I myself had not heard of the defendant concerned until his arrest some months ago. I had not heard any of his material.
If I, someone interested in political and dissident matters, had heard nothing of that defendant (not even his name), how many members of the public generally will have heard of the man or his material? Few, it seems to me.

Freedom of expression on social, political and historical topics should be absolute. It is good news that the Law Commission has recommended the repeal of the very bad law known as Communications Act 2003, s.127, but that has not happened yet. As I have frequently blogged, the self-describing “Left” (pseudo-socialist tendency) has nothing to say any more; nothing to say at all about ways to improve society, nothing to say to the British people. All that such one-time rebels and would-be revolutionaries now have is a farrago of nonsense based around “anti-racism”, “anti-sexism” and “anti-fascism”.
The result of the above is that their biggest joy is to see someone, labelled “Nazi” or “fascist”, “deplatformed”, i.e. expelled from Twitter or Facebook, or (best of all) sacked from a job or a professional status.
