The first necessity is to fight to preserve European race and culture; above all, to prevent contamination of the root-stock by inferior elements seeping (or surging) into Europe, including the UK. Only by preserving a European racial or sub-racial stock can the first stage to the future superculture be created.

Well, this week I scored 5/10, again beating political journalist John Rentoul, who scored a modest 3/10. I knew the answers to questions 2, 5, 6, 7, and 10. Had I not misread the question, I should also have got no. 8, and in the back of my mind I knew number 1 as well. Never mind.
Interesting to recall to mind that, if all ice on the Earth were to melt, sea levels would rise by no less than 230 feet. Where I once lived in London, Little Venice, is only about 60 ft above sea level. One of several ridiculous aspects to political prosecutions of this sort is that, in that case as in many others, the defendant posted certain things, certain comments. He was sentenced, both harshly and absurdly, to 2 years, meaning he will probably serve about 9 months, yet the very same words have now been shared by the Clown Prosecution Service, the police (I believe), the System news media, people such as Matt Goodwin, all those who retweeted Matt Goodwin’s tweet (at time of writing, about 600), and others such as me, as seen hereinabove.
Obviously, that defendant’s words were posted on an earlier date and in, arguably, different circumstances (the now-famous protests and/or “riots”).

Regular readers of the blog will know that the dim Essex Police invited me for a “voluntary” interview (in fact, entirely involuntary) in 2017, because Stephen Silverman, the malicious and self-styled “Head of Investigations and Enforcement” at the very small but (((well-funded))) pressure group, “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”], laid a complaint against me and also (as the police themselves told me) against about half a dozen other persons (all unknown to me) in respect of allegedly “antisemitic” tweets. As mentioned previously on the blog, there is someone carrying the same or similar name to me, and who tweets as “@IanMillard100”. I believe that he is an IT worker at Bath University. His tweets occasionally mirror my views, though usually not.
I have no reason to suppose that this other Ian Millard tweets with any malign intent (i.e. with the intent of passing himself off as me), but I have to admit that it is slightly irritating to think that some people may imagine that those tweets come from me; maybe most people can see that they are from someone else, though.
A minor nuisance, no more. Anyway, there is nothing that I can do about it.

Historically, what is now Western Ukraine (based on Lvov) has made several different rulerships, including both Russia and Austria-Hungary.
While Putin would probably prefer to take all of Ukraine, I think that he would accept a peace agreement with a Lvov-based rump Ukraine willing to be neutral in future. That used to be called, from 1945 to 2023, “Finlandization”, and worked quite well for everyone until, quite recently, the Finnish government went mad and joined NATO.
That is a good thing. America is at its best when it is isolationist.
October Revolution

There were always parades in Moscow. I recall watching Soviet TV news in the old Channel 4 newsroom (then in the old ITN building in Wells Street, near Oxford Street) as a kind of guest, in 1984.

I recall it mainly because of the excellent picture quality on the satellite link; also because I had come directly from a tough afternoon taekwando session taught by a candidate-competitor black-belt destined for the 1988 Seoul Olympics (I don’t know whether he eventually went, though).

The history of the 20th Century was, to a large extent, the outcome of the fight against, or for Sovietism. The rise of National Socialism was also, to a large extent, the result of Bolshevism and the struggle to resist it. An Abwehr or “parrying”.
Even after the events of the Second World War, the subsequent “peace” revolved around the need in the West to “parry” Sovietism— the Yalta and other agreements, the Cold War, the “Finlandization” not only of Finland itself but also of Austria and Yugoslavia. The taking out of Central Europe, and the reduction of Europe into East and West.
Of course, Sovietism itself changed too, internally: Bolshevism and Leninism became Stalinism (with Trotskyist offshoots overseas), then post-Stalinist Sovietism under Khrushchev and his successors.

By the time I watched that 1984 TV news broadcast, the Cold War was still going strong, superficially, but the Soviet Union had only 5 years left. (Officially, the Soviet Union lasted until 1991, but it was dead by late 1989). It did not necessarily seem so at the time. The Dzerzhinsky Regiment (MVD troops) led that parade (the bit I saw), and the Soviet power still gave the impression of being fearsome. However, as a character notes in one of my favourite films, The Russia House, adaptation of a John le Carre novel, the Soviet knight was dying inside his armour.
Now we are in a rather different world. Still, after a 1989-2022 gap, the superpower rivalry is again there (if it ever went away), but this time as a conflation of a rump-Sovietism with a Great-Russian nationalism, bumping horns against an expansionist NATO led and ruled over by a USA which is, in effect, NWO/ZOG (New World Order/Zionist Occupation Government).
Where now? The front-lines of the conflict are in Ukraine (which the Western power wants to subsume into its sphere of influence) and, to a lesser extent, the Middle East.
Europe needs a new direction. So does Russia. The answer must be a Eurasian ethno-state, Europe joining loosely with Russia against the areas of the world which are comprised of peoples, in very broad terms, now the enemies of positive evolution.

Amusing. Something similar once happened on a Caribbean island where I lived, though it all blew up a couple of months before I arrived; I was told about it by a colleague.
Apparently, the defaulter was a pilot, a native of another island. He flew for a regional airline. He crashed his plane on one island or another (I do not recall what I was told, exactly; I think maybe St. Lucia) and he was killed, along with about 30 passengers and crew. Cannabis and cocaine were said to have been found in his body.
After his death, his wife was sorting through his belongings (not where she lived) and found the video tapes (this was about 25 or 26 years ago).
It turned out that the deceased pilot had, er, had literally dozens of prominent women on the island where I later lived. His wife made sure that copies of the tape were sent to several people. Soon, everyone had seen or heard of those tapes.
As my colleague later told me, these were women one met on a daily basis, such as the tall, sunglasses-wearing, woman police sergeant who conducted my driving test (I did not usually drive myself around until I arrived on that island and had no choice).
Other women involved were almost all of those who worked at the small airport on the island (as immigration officials, canteen staff, cleaners etc), the local schoolteachers, wives of the officiants at several of the (many) local churches etc. Apparently, bananas (literal bananas) featured in some of the tapes.
It all caused an enormous upheaval on an island where people tended to know everyone.
Reverting to Equatorial Guinea, I have never been there, and have only met a couple of people who have. Having said that, when I was a mere 18 years of age, in 1975, I had the idea of invading the island. A couple of boys my own age were my co-planners in that mad idea, which of course never went anywhere.
I had a large pilot’s map of the island (bought from Stanford’s in Covent Garden) and the nearby/not nearby bit of Africa where the larger part of the country (the former Spanish colony of Spanish Guinea, independent since 1968) was located. The island of Fernando Po (now, Bioko) was where the capital, Santa Isabel (now, Malabo) was. The island is about 3x the size of the Isle of Wight, and the whole country is slightly larger than Wales.
I twice met the (now long-deceased) Conservative MP, Harold Soref, in connection with my doomed plan, once at the Carlton Club and once at the original St. James’ Club in Piccadilly.
