“Taurus missiles could have a significant impact on Ukraine’s ability to defend itself, – Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski supported Ukraine in its desire to obtain the Taurus and accused Germany of indecisiveness in supplying new weapons systems to the war zone.
“Thanks to cruise missiles from other countries, the Ukrainians have already convinced the Russians to move their logistics bases, such as ammunition depots, far behind the front line. And the German missiles will force them to move even further,” he said.“
As for those missiles, yes, they would assist the Kiev regime’s war effort, but its war is now lost anyway— insufficient soldiers, arms, and ammunition, and collapsing morale. If Germany supplies such missiles, not only Kiev might become a major target for —far more powerful— Russian missiles, but also other cities; even Berlin itself. Don’t stoke the fires of war.

George Galloway may heroically stand up for the Palestinians, but will he stand up for the British who are being rapidly replaced in Britain? Will he stand up for Sam Melia who has been unjustly imprisoned for simply speaking out about it? If not, he is a total fraud. https://t.co/AjkObUAvj2
Galloway is, to some extent, a kind of fraud and, to the extent that he is not, stands mainly for the Muslim bloc, not for white people in the UK (the people formerly known as “British”). He used to block me on Twitter, when I still had a Twitter account (the Jewish lobby, after a long campaign, had Twitter expel me in 2018).
I was amused and pleased to see Galloway’s recent by-election victory, which I anticipated on the blog, but he has nothing to say to the British people.
In 1998, I lived for three months in Egypt and, for the entire lunar month of Ramadan, was staying at Mamoura Beach, a suburb of Alexandria, where I took a flat. I believe in “when in Rome, do as the Romans do” (within reason), but not all reciprocate.
Not that I fasted like the Arabs, but I ate and drank mostly at home; very occasionally, I would go in late afternoon to the (deserted) McDonald’s in Mamoura Beach, a short walk away, for a “Filet-o-fish” or apple pie; they would seat me in a place which could not be seen from the street. McDonalds is a “restaurant” very rarely used by me in the UK, but that suburb had no other cafes.

In my pre-polling day look at the by-election, I picked Galloway (“Workers Party”) as the winner; not very difficult under the circumstances— most journalists also thought that Galloway would win, as did the bookmakers.
Galloway scored 39.7%; oddly enough, exactly the same figure as the understandably poor turnout, which was also 39.7%. In other words, Galloway was elected via the votes of about 15% of the whole eligible electorate.
I went wrong on second place. I thought that Azhar Ali, the disowned Labour candidate, would still manage a second place on the basis that he is local, a councillor, a Pakistani Muslim and, until Jewish-lobby puppet Keir Starmer sacked him, the official candidate of the Labour Party.
In fact, Ali scored only 7.7% and a 4th place. I attribute that largely to his sacking, which means that he will not be the Labour candidate in the upcoming 2024 General Election. Also, to the fact that he climbed down and “apologised” to Starmer and the Israel lobby. In a word, he lost face, badly, by doing that. I presume that his 7.7% reflects a personal vote, mainly.
I also thought, though speculatively, that the LibDems might do rather better than they did, based on their previous (though pre-2015) showings in the constituency, and on their perhaps being a magnet for anti-Government white (English) votes in Rochdale. Not so. Seems that the LibDems are very much a spent force outside a few parts of southern England.
The LibDem vote was only 7%.
The poor turnout sank the LibDem cause in Rochdale. It is pretty clear that the Pakistanis voted but the English/white voters mostly did not. The Pakistani population of the constituency is somewhere in the 30%-40% range. Almost all Pakistanis voted (it can be surmised), but few English/white people bothered.
The Conservative Party candidate never had a chance. This government is as unpopular as any has been in the past century or more, and Rochdale has not elected a Conservative since 1955.
Having said that, the attitude of the candidate cannot have helped. He decided to prioritize his holiday over campaigning, jetting off to the sun only a week or so before Polling Day!
Ellison’s 12% vote (3rd place) is around where my initial thought about the by-election, a couple of weeks ago, put him (I thought maybe 15%), but better than my most recent speculation (a day or two ago, I thought the Con vote might go as low as 5%).
Finally (leaving aside the five candidates who lost their deposit, none scoring higher than 1.7%), there is Reform UK. Oh dear…
As I wrote before the by-election, Reform UK must have been mad to take on Danczuk as its candidate. After all, he was the local Labour MP 2010-2017, who was sacked for various personal behavioural problems, and who then tried to hang on as an Independent, getting an embarrassing 1.8% vote at the 2017 General Election.
The toxic tabloid content of Danczuk’s life 2010-2017 with and around his seriously thick then wife, Karen Danczuk (known as “the selfie queen” for her self-portraits posted online, featuring both her cleavage and her buck teeth), sank him in 2017, and will still be (and obviously was) remembered by the voters of Rochdale.
Danczuk’s 6.3% vote at the by-election is about where I thought he would end up.
In my view, Reform UK has rather too much of the “Mickey Mouse” about it, too much of the “wing and a prayer” “Amateur Night” village show, to be considered a serious party.
The political scientist Matt Goodwin has been pushing the idea that Reform UK might overtake the Conservative Party in the polls. Not yet, it seems.
At Rochdale, the Conservative Party candidate managed to get twice the vote of Danczuk and Reform UK, despite not bothering to campaign much, whereas Danczuk tried hard, and was even supported by his leader, Richard Tice, riding a sky-blue battlebus.
The by-election does say something about Reform UK that goes beyond its very silly decision to put up Danczuk as a candidate. If Reform UK was going to capture the mainly white/English protest vote, this by-election would have been the place for that to take off. White English people are a majority, maybe even two-thirds, of the Rochdale constituency, yet most —probably the vast majority— did not bother to vote, and even fewer voted Reform UK.
Some may say that the above is because English people are apathetic. I say that they are apathetic for a reason, or reasons. One, in this case, was because Reform UK’s semi-“libertarian” offering just does not “hit the spot”. White English people want, though in most cases unconsciously, social nationalism, and there is not one party, even a small one, offering or proclaiming that ideology.
What does the by-election say about the Conservative Party in the run-up to GE 2024? Toast. This was the worst Con Party result (12%) at Rochdale since the Blair-Labour years (10.5% in 2005, 13.4% in 2001, 8.8% in 1997). In 2019, the Cons received 31.2%, and even in 2017 28.4%.
So there it is. Angry apathy from the white English voters, angry protest from the Pakistani Muslims, a Government without hope, but an Opposition Labour Party unable to inspire any enthusiasm yet likely to “win” GE 2024 purely by default. Also, an upstart and supposedly “populist” party, Reform UK, that has no real support.
I have said nothing about the victor, Galloway. That is because he is a maverick and, despite the “Workers Party” label, basically a one-man band. Whether he can retain his seat at GE 2024 or not is an open question. Maybe he can.
And Tim Stanley, if you said something similar about Judaism, you’d be called an antisemite…. In fact, you wouldn’t be able to say anything, because you’d get arrested and cancelled. So, what’s your point?#bbcqt#TimStanley
95% of the repression on freedom of expression in the UK comes from the organized Jew-Zionist/pro-Israel lobby. I myself face sentencing in a couple of weeks, the malicious Jew-Zionist lobby having procured an entirely political prosecution of me in 2023 (and admit to having been trying to bag me for most of the past decade).

Galloway must be one of the few, one of the very few MPs who can speak in public without either reading pathetic platitudes from a written crib, or sounding like a speak-your-weight machine, or both.
The symptoms of the slowly-encroaching “woke” global (Western) police state (in the UK, in the EU, elsewhere too) are now seen everywhere; they include my own Jewish-lobby-procured political prosecution and conviction last year (sentencing hearing this month).
When you look at why Simon Danczuk fell from grace, running on a grooming platform was not the best idea. It says everything about Tice's judgement. Especially when, standing as an independent in 2017, Danczuk won a mere 883 votes. He was a lame duck out of the starting gate. (do…
I agree with that. I have no idea what Tice is like as a businessman, though I note that his main work was in a company founded by his grandfather. As a politician, I have no doubt that he is “nbg” (no bloody good). As I blogged some time before the by-election, Tice’s selection of someone as sleazy as Simon Danczuk was a miscall of stunning proportions. As in…you run a “populist”, “new broom”, “clean the Augean Stables” party, so naturally you pick as your candidate someone who was not only sleazy in the sexual sense when an MP but also a grifting freeloader and moneygrubber. An example of the worst of the old parties. No, wait…
How does that work? It doesn’t.
If Tice’s judgment is in question for having, inter alia, picked Danczuk as a candidate, then that, and the by-election result, also brings into question the judgment of political academic, scribbler and blogger Matt Goodwin, who has been boosting Reform UK as a possibly-unstoppable coming political force in the land. Ha…

Unconfirmed reports are saying that Sam Melia of Patriotic Alternative has been sentenced in the Crown Court to 2 years in prison for supposed “incitement to racial hatred”.
I did not follow the trial, but I understand that the charge or charges related to the production of (from the little I have read) very innocuously-worded stickers. “Evidence” deemed admissible (presumably going to the Defendant’s intention) included having a picture of Hitler.
The Star Chamber would be proud of England’s 21st Century police, CPS, and judiciary.
As we know, in 2024 Britain, political crime is deemed far more serious than real crime. In a country where crimes of serious violence, or considerable and dishonest acquisition, result often in non-custodial sentences, Sam Melia will now spend about a year in prison basically for having offended or opposed the System and “the usual suspects”.
I have no idea as to whether the plight of his wife, Laura Towler, and their very young child, was taken into account. Seemingly not, or not much. I understand that Laura Towler is presently pregnant with a second child, which will now be born (in the next couple of months) while its father is incarcerated.
I hope that a crowdfunder is soon set up for Melia’s wife and children.
“A huge crowd”? At a guess, 5,000. Maybe, at peak, 10,000.
Russia has ~143M people, so even 10,000 represents only 1 person in every 14,300. Out of the Moscow population of 13M, 1 person out of every 1,300. Somewhere between those two figures, then. 1 person out of every 1,300-14,300 people.
Of course, the authorities have tried to suppress visible support for Navalny, but even if the true figure is 1 out of every 1,300, and even if there are 20 secret supporters for every one on that march, that is still only, at best, 1 out of every 65 inhabitants of Moscow.
Whatever one’s view of Navalny, his percentage of even mild support was in single figures. Maybe 2%, maybe as high as 5%, of the Moscow population; probably no more than 1%, if that, among the whole population of Russia.
Thousands of supporters of #Navalny gathered for his memorial service and funeral in #Moscow despite #Kremlin warnings and a heavy police presence.

That film shows a seemingly larger crowd, but even if my calculations are out by a factor of 10, that would still show a visible and covert ratio of 1 Navalny supporter out of every 6 or 7 people. Significant but not overwhelming.
Anyway, such speculation is a castle in the air in the circumstances.

Mason again. His “political philosophy” comes down to two words: “arrest them“. Nothing more. Neither a socialist nor a pro-capitalist, nor yet anything other than someone cobbling together disparate strands to make one jumbled string of pseudo-philosophy which really comes down to the exercise of State power by those who control it, and against any dissidents or dissenters.
I'm not normally that interested in parliamentary politics. More interesting to see what everyone else in the country is thinking and doing.
But I will make an exception. It's good to see George Galloway is an MP while Paul Mason isn't. Mason's piss is boiling nicely. https://t.co/NC8j1otTRH
Mason’s sheer bile is obvious to almost everyone but Mason himself. Mason’s ideal living environment would be somewhere such as the DDR, circa 1970. Maybe as a Stasi-connected academic in a concrete provincial university.

Slightly disappointing by Oborne, who has in the past made interesting anti-Israel lobby documentaries: see
What (((group))) is behind Starmer? What group is behind Sunak? What group is behind “Reform UK”, Farage, Tice etc? Yes, the Israel lobby, but of what (in the UK) is that composed?…
In some ways, Oborne’s 15-minute tweet above is very hardhitting, but it pulls a few punches when it comes to “a certain group” in UK society.
Oborne refers to the danger of the “far right” etc. In fact, any danger is actually from the two superficially opposed groups— Islamists/Zionists.
Announcement from Laura Towler
I happened to see the message below, believed to be a public announcement from Laura Towler of Patriotic Alternative:
“By now you will have heard that my husband Sam Melia was sentenced today to two years in prison for his intentions behind publishing stickers that the prosecution said were both lawful and truthful.
The sentencing guidelines gave the judge the option of choosing anywhere between 2 years and 6 years, and the minimum was given due to the lack of seriousness regarding the offence. The judge could’ve suspended the sentence (and sent Sam home) at two years, however he chose not to and said the reason why was because he wanted the sentencing to act as a deterrent to other people with the same beliefs.
Before today, Sam met with his Probation Officer who said that Sam was no risk to the public and there was no chance of reoffending, and recommended a community order. The judge chose to ignore this.
The worst case scenario is that Sam will serve 12 months in prison. Potentially, he could serve 6 – 8 months. He is considered low risk and could therefore be on day release from as early as in a few months.
If you take anything from this, let it remind you why we do what we do. We live in a country where our people are attacked by the anti-White state for advocating for their own safety and interests.
I don’t want cuddles and condolences. I don’t want thoughts and prayers. I want you to join me in filling the void that Sam leaves for the next few months. There are no excuses. Not everybody has to be on the front line. There is plenty you can do behind the scenes.
Sam should hold his head up high knowing that he put his head above the parapet when many others dare not. He didn’t back down at any point over the last three years, nor did he take any offer they offered him. He remained defiant for us, and now it’s our turn to repay his sacrifice by carrying his flame until he is back.“
[unconfirmed, but believed to be by Laura Towler]
Another example of how the British jury is now little better than a rubber stamp. As for the judge in question, I prefer not to comment, mainly because I have no wish to transgress the “contempt of Court” rules; in any case, I did not follow the case. There is also the further fact that I myself, in Biblical language, will be “in the same condemnation” in a couple of weeks, being sentenced for —in effect— telling the truth.
“Rishi Sunak has claimed extremist groups in the UK are “trying to tear us apart”, in a hastily arranged Downing Street statement that came hours after George Galloway won a byelection in Rochdale.
Standing outside No 10 late on Friday, the prime minister condemned what he called “a shocking increase in extremist disruption and criminality” after the 7 October massacre by Hamas and the Israeli invasion of Gaza.
He also claimed democracy itself was a target, as he condemned the election of Galloway, who easily won the seat in Rochdale on a platform that focused on anti-Israel sentiment over Gaza.
However, in a sometimes rambling and seemingly contradictory 10-minute address, Sunak made points likely to anger MPs on the right of the Conservative party such as Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick, who have sought to frame recent tensions as almost entirely the responsibility of Islamist extremists.
Sunak was at pains to stress the recent abuse of Muslim Britons as well as the Jewish community, and to highlight the threat from far-right groups as well as Islamists.“
[The Guardian]
The little Indian money-juggler presently posing as Prime Minister has made a speech in which he conflated “democracy” with “electing System candidates”, in effect.
Sunak calls for no support for “extremism”, yet he does not seem to think it “extreme” to project the Israeli flag onto 10 Downing Street and then to call for support of a war by a huge mechanized army against, mostly, civilians, half of which are under 18 years of age, and about a quarter of whom are undisputedly small children and babies.
So far, the Israeli Jews have killed about 30,000 or so in Gaza, in under 5 months. About half were children.
Starmer, that nasty ideas-free puppet bureaucrat, is no better.
Incidentally, I myself have blogged about both “democracy” and “extremism” in recent years:

Naturally, it was tragic that the war or wars of the early/mid 1940s happened. There was right and wrong on both, indeed all, sides. However, that was ~80 years ago, and the Reichstag was destroyed over 78 years ago. There is now no need to trigger another huge war in Europe by arming, and funnelling ammunition and money etc, to the corrupt, brutal, shambolic Kiev regime. Germany should learn the lesson of history here.

“Erasure” of Jews? Ha ha.
Oh well, people can dream, I suppose…
In reality, though, whether in TV, on radio, in films, in newspapers, in fact in the msm generally, indeed in UK, US, French (etc) society in general, you can hardly get away from “them”. “They” have certainly not been “erased”, and there is no “erasure” happening, at least that I can see. Au contraire.
Baddiel does not object to Jews or blacks playing non-Jew and non-black roles, including roles of people who actually existed (even Anne Boleyn was played by a black American woman not so long ago, absurdly), but he does object to Jews being played by non-Jews, so long as the said Jews are —rightly or wrongly— considered to be positive characters.
Presumably, Baddiel does not want Jewish theatricals confined to playing Jewish roles.
“They” always want things their way.
As a matter of fact, I have never seen the creators of atomic weapons (almost all of which, in the 1940s and 1950s, were Jews) as being very positive, especially in view of the fact that they wanted to use the weapons not only on Japan but also in Europe, and especially on Germany. That was the original target. Thank God Europe dodged at least that bullet.
Atomic science in the 1940s, 1950s was largely, though not entirely, a preserve of Jews, starting of course, with Einstein.
The benefits of [atomic science] in practice are far outweighed by the negative aspects.
Would it not have been better had [atomic science in practice] never existed? Would it not be better if [atomic energy and weapons] did not exist, or were, in the future, somehow eliminated?

Gina Miller now. Farage recently, but before both of them were the Patriotic Alternative people— Mark Collett, Laura Towler, Sam Melia, who all had their personal bank accounts shut down, and not by esoteric banks such as Coutts, but by high street names (I think Barclays, Halifax etc). Incidentally, those three were “cancelled” at least a couple of years ago.
This is all a part of a gradual encroachment— the “Great Reset” of Western society by secretive cabals.

This is outrageous. Without banking services, political parties cannot operate. The law needs to be changed immediately!https://t.co/d4HAXnCWDK
“Without banking services, political parties cannot operate“. Indeed, but why does Golding think this is happening? Precisely so that one cabal, or connected cabals, can rule over the UK (and beyond) without much political opposition of any kind. These are initial, tentative experiments in control (just like the “lockdowns” the facemask nonsense etc). To use the usual phrase, “first they came for...”, in this case, Patriotic Alternative.
Probably the only reason nothing has happened to me so far (in terms of banking) is because a. I belong to no party or group, and b. I have little money anyway.
Hopefully, the penny will finally drop with the Left — you need to take a stand against the de-banking of right-of-centre people because if you don’t you’ll be next. https://t.co/9maJTzEiqs
What a massive hypocrite Toby Young is. He never said a word when I was wrongfully and indeed unlawfully disbarred in 2016, or in relation to any of the false and malicious complaints made to Twitter, online fora and even police about me (made, in every single case, by Jews). One of those matters is still ongoing, in fact, I having been (some time ago and quite wrongly) charged under the notorious “bad law” of Communications Act 2003, s.127. That case will not come to trial (if at all) until Autumn 2023.
In fact, that much-abused law (mostly, in the political realm, abused by Jews engaging in “lawfare”) is set to be either repealed, or at any rate superseded, next year. It may well be that I shall be that last person tried under its poorly-drafted provisions.
Reverting to Toby Young’s hypocrisy, he and his so-called “Free Speech Union” also never said a word in defence of others who have been persecuted and/or prosecuted by Jewish interests: Jez Turner, Alison Chabloz, and many others.
Would the many among you here who were vicious and rude in your comments that banks had every right to close Farage's account, care to comment on this story? I'd be especially interested to hear from those of you using the #FBPE tag in your profile. https://t.co/sYQS9xkpSP
The arch-Remainer who led the legal challenges to the Government over its handling of Brexit has seen the bank account of her political party shut down.
Lol. If @bootstrapcook does get banged to rights, a judge might say she has to go an actual real NA meeting and do an occasional piss test with her community order. Am sure she does want to wax lyrical about shoplifting. You do when the law wont touch you.
apparently today she's opining on shoplifting. With her extensive expertise its probably the first time shes discussed something she's directly experienced in her entire career.
One used to see dozens, even hundreds of tweeters naively defending “Jack Monroe” and/or holding her up as a wonderful and principled “activist” etc. No more. The few tweeters defending her are patently almost all “sock accounts” operated, in my opinion, by “Jack Monroe” herself. Often recently set up, often with few or even no Twitter “followers”. She admitted to doing that a decade ago, in fact.
I notice, also, that the large commercial and other organizations that used to cite “Jack Monroe” in tweets and other publicity, now do not. As a public figure, she has almost certainly reached the end of the line.
Still, I would not mind having 397 people (in her case, utter mugs) all sending me money monthly via Patreon, adding up to several thousand pounds each month.

Ha ha. I like the way the policeman fell back into what looks like a paddling pool. Beyond that, it shows how desperate the Kiev regime is getting for more cannon-fodder. The “stout” man looks about 40 years old at least, and markedly overweight.
Thinking about the desperate attempts by the Kiev regime to recruit (press into service) anyone they can leads me on to thoughts of the demographic future of Ukraine.
Even before the war, the population of Ukraine was in decline, mainly because of the past 30+ years of corrupt, shambolic “independence” as well as, pre-“Independence”, decades of Brezhnevite stagnation when Ukraine was a constituent part of the Soviet Union.
Now, huge numbers of, mainly, young and youngish men have been killed, many others badly wounded. Hundreds of thousands in all. Many Ukrainian women, at the same time, have taken the chance to settle in other parts of Europe. Most men are barred from leaving. The birth-rate in Ukraine must already have declined even further. This is a state without a future.

I happened to see the two ridiculous tweets below:
I have just read the article, what a grossly unfair decision, there was no interest in prosecuting @MLewisLawyer. I hope he gets an apology.
— Dr Charlotte Proudman (@DrProudman) July 5, 2023
So the often-heavily-criticized Jolyon Maugham [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolyon_Maugham], a part-Jew barrister and “activist”, here supporting egregious and self-publicizing Jewish solicitor Mark Lewis, is applauded by one Charlotte Proudman, apparently a mainly academic lawyer and barrister who has attended or researched at no less than five universities in the UK and USA. I do not think that I had heard of her before today.
Ms. Proudman should read my blog posts, written several years ago about Lewis, before expressing an opinion:
So far from having been “grossly unfair“, as Ms. Proudman opines (having apparently read only a brief and one-sided scribble on the Legal Business online platform), the decision of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority [SRA] regarding Lewis was impeccably fair and, in punishing Lewis very leniently, bent over backwards to be fair. Even his small fine was reduced from £7,500 to £2,500 because his Counsel said on his behalf that Lewis (the ludicrously so-called “top lawyer“, if you believe the tabloid Press) owned no real property, and in fact owned nothing at time of the hearing in 2018 but his clothes, a private pension worth £70 a week, and a mobility scooter.
After the SRA hearing, Lewis took off for Israel, where he now lives.
Looking at what Lewis wrote online to various people, including a Jewish teenager, I was surprised that Lewis was not struck off the roll of solicitors.
I wonder whether Ms. Proudman thinks that the decision of the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal in my case was “grossly unfair“? I doubt it, even though I was both wrongfully, and actually unlawfully, disbarred (at the instigation of a pack of politically-motivated Jews) for having merely tweeted five (5) tweets, all of which were completely true and accurate: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.
Incidentally, this (below) is the profile photograph of herself that Ms. Proudman seems to think appropriate to publish on her Twitter account (which profile describes her as a barrister etc):

Polls of that sort are of course unscientific, and anything on Twitter more so, because of the well-known biases. All the same, it is clear that the present Government has run out of road. It is hitting as many buttons as possible to shore up at least the core Conservative-leaning vote: pledging to retain the pension Triple Lock, pledging to at least reduce net immigration (how about stopping the inward flow, and starting an outward flow?) etc, but it seems hopeless.
Actions speak louder than words. Something that the “Conservative” Party ministers and Prime Ministers of the past 13+ years seem not to understand. Mass immigration has continued unabated under Sunak and, as Chancellor, he also paused, for one year, the Triple Lock.

“Jack Monroe” is surely a busted flush. Even the utter mugs donating to her on Patreon are waking up: 396 as of today, the first time that the number has dropped below 400 (only a few days ago it was still 414). Last year, there were nearly 900 of those mugs, partly by reason of (now effectively withdrawn) endorsements by TV talking heads and cuisine “experts” Nigella Lawson and Jay Rayner (and others).
Still, 396 mugs each sending “Jack Monroe” between £3.50 and £44 monthly. As said previously, “not a bad little earner“, to use the Essex argot. Must still add up to at least a few thousand in cash. Monthly. For nothing.
If the fall continues, “Jack Monroe”, the “Bootstrap Cook”, may have to either go on the dole or whatever again (she made a whole media career out of having done that once, for a year or so, a decade or more ago). Or perhaps her affluent/wealthy family of buy-to-let parasites, who live in the same area as her, will help her out. I doubt whether she would be employable as anything. I read somewhere that she has only had a couple of jobs (for short periods, and long ago), one arranged via her father, answering the telephones at the Essex fire brigade, the other in a fish and chip shop.
Sven Longshanks
I just donated 20 British pounds to support Sven Longshanks. Chip in if you can!
A reminder that the appeal for Sven Longshanks (James Allchurch) is still up. The aim is to raise funds both to assist him while he still sits in prison (i.e. until early/mid 2024), and also to help him resettle once released.
In cheering Thursday news, Jolyon Maugham and his (Not Very) Good Law Project have lost yet another of their flagship cases. #LGBAllianceWinhttps://t.co/ZBhjC8S410
Until today, I was unaware that Maugham no longer practises as a barrister in chambers (he specialized in tax law). Apparently, he left his last chambers in 2020.
I have seen tweets saying that Maugham is a “grifter”, living off donations to the Good Law Project. I have no idea whether that be so, and I also note that the GLP is supported by not only individual donations but also large grants from several well-known trust funds, not least that of the rather odd Rausing people (the descendants of the man who invented Tetrapak in Sweden); they also give or have given money to the mainly Jewish “Hope not Hate” crowd.
How much Maugham pays himself (in effect) as Director of the GLP I have no idea (and the website of the GLP is silent on the subject).
Jolyon lives in a construct of fantasy and demands that the rest of us exchange reality for that fantasy so it only makes sense that Jolyon see this loss within the prism of fantasy as well as a win.
I remember seeing Maugham on a “celebrity” episode of University Challenge. He stood out from the rest as combining a very-obviously huge opinion of himself with equally-huge ignorance of almost everything. Very funny.
I have no idea how well (or not) Jolyon Maugham was regarded as a tax barrister, before he launched “Woke Law Project”, but it gives pause for thought how many cases “GLP” has lost or not “won”.
As for Maugham being a KC, these days about 10% of all barristers hold letters patent as KC; it is not the accolade it once was. At one time, only a few barristers a year were made up to KC or QC; now dozens are.
You’d think people would realise how Jolyon works by now instead of continuing to fund the clown. His brings pointless and baseless claims to the courts that never should be there. He’s not doing what’s right by anybody but himself and his wallet.
@greenbelt do you still think Jack Monroe poses no risks? This is due to her doxxing someone, just for requesting a refund from her. Her fans turning up on someone’s doorstep and harassing him.
One of my online harassers turned up at my house late last night and refused to leave, claiming that I refused to answer their "3 reasonable dinner party questions" about myself and they felt the need to ask me in person. That is why the police are now taking it seriously.
I hope to god Jack Monroe bootstrapcook is punished to the maximum degree and shamed publicly for her part in this. She doxxed you, she led the pile ons, she is behind it all when she tried to escape facing justice.
“Jack Monroe” may not have ordered or asked for the above harassment to happen, but she is all the same behind it in the wider sense. She “doxxed” (revealed publicly the address of) the person involved, and she knows very well that her most fervent supporters are often those with mental health problems (as well as the very dim). In other words, she lit the blue touchpaper.

Incidentally, Osborne is yet another part-Jew.
George Osborne is directly responsible for the mess we are in and the mess we've been living in since 2010. He destroyed this country.
So many people assume that because one enemy of the people has “Conservative” on the label, and another “Labour“, that they are not both part of the System together, or are somehow “opposed”. Only superficially.
The government refuses to believe that when you cut the benefit levels the economy crashes. The poor cannot spend what they don’t have. If you increase the benefit levels the economy grows as the poor spend everything you give them. That was why George Osborne’s cuts didn’t work.
Exactly. Give a poor man £1 and he will almost certainly spend it, and have to spend it. Give £1 to a rich man and he will either bank it or buy a hedging asset (eg over-valued real property) with it.

Also, my mother's a fierce benevolent woman in her late 70's who thought Jack Monroe was amazing. £12pm may be buttons to JM but for her it was a significant amount to spend. Just wish my Mam wasn't (self admittedly) a shit cook. Everything she made from JM's books was inedible😂
I personally cannot judge as to whether, or to what extent, “Jack Monroe” is “sad, bad, or mad“, in the well-known phrase. Maybe a bit mad and a bit bad…but that is just my opinion, based on what I have read, and 66 years of life-experience.
The more I read about “Jack Monroe”, the more I think “bad” rather than “mad”, in fact.
Yeah I know. It was the perfect storm 😂 If my Mother had better taste we'd both be non the wiser about Jack Monroe and her decade long dupe. My Mam is just the tip of a very large iceberg unfortunately.
As I have blogged previously, some of the photos seen on Twitter of the food made from the recipes of the “Bootstrap Cook” seem to be a “dog’s dinner” at best; some have made me feel actually unwell. I don’t mean when made and eaten (I would not make stuff like that anyway, still less ingest it) but just the mere sight of her “food” on Twitter.
I concede that I am not very domesticated and, until I married for the first time (in 1990), had mainly eaten cold food when dining at home (in my twenties and early thirties). In fact, I am still not much of a cook, though I can offer to my readers the following idea, which is relatively cheap, rather tasty, fairly healthy (though admittedly rather high-fat) and, best of all, can be made from start to finish in about 45 mins:
That “zucchini bake” can be added to; you can add whatever vegetables are around— mushrooms, broccoli (inc. stalks, if grated or sliced), carrots etc. The only essentials are eggs, butter, zucchini/courgettes, salt, pepper, and cheese (any kind, but cheddar works well, maybe with some parmesan). Some basil helps.
I do not think I shall make a regular thing out of suggesting recipes. I would probably run out of the things that I myself have actually made in my whole life after a week or two. Still, I hope that the above is useful for someone.
About £5 to serve 4 people, or one person four times. Basic, yes, but I think that it stacks up pretty well against the offerings of “Jack Monroe”…
I'd been a fan since not long after Hunger Hurts – I own Monroe's first book – until I read Awfully Molly.
My brother seemed to think she was dodgy but I just couldn't see it.
Guess by the time she contradicted a previous tweet or part of her back story I'd forgotten it.
Oh Monroe's recent blog post emulating Hunger Hurts & claiming to be too poor to buy soap was a bit of final straw too.
Watched Monroe host a BBC TV show during the first lockdown – she tweeted she was paid a lot & was saving most of it at the time – where did all that money go?
I looked at a few tweets by that stupid “Susan Macpark” woman. A Scottish pseudo-“nationalist” who, however, supports migration-invasion by backward non-whites. Crazy. She often flings vituperation at others, either tweeting that their parents must despise them, or simply insulting their intelligence (despite the unthinking tweets that she herself puts out).
I suggest Susan that you read the “just giving” page of .@frugally_minded and then understand it’s her money that Jack Monroe took, never donated to charity, and refused to refund even though this lady is in desperate need. Maybe donate a little yourself.
That Macpark bitch will not give a penny. Guaranteed.
As to “Jack Monroe”, I have no idea whether she will return to Twitter (more likely than not, because she can then plough on, publicizing her stuff to those who are unwilling to question; she will simply try to ignore the gathering storm), or whether she will just think “well, I have £2,000-£7,000 a month coming in from 600-700 mugs on Patreon, plus maybe another few thousand from other sources, so why bother with Twitter?“
If only the blacks, browns, Chinese, and especially the Jews in our country would understand this.

There should be a cultural purge in the UK, starting (arguably) with the absurdly overpaid, smug, mass media football pleb-fest talking heads. Lineker etc.
As far as that specific building is concerned, I do not entirely agree. Architecture should be about both form and function. The form, in this case is (in my opinion) not so different in both cases, and I expect (though I have never been inside) that the function is better (for today’s purposes) in the replacement building. Admittedly, it is rather ugly, but so was, in my view, the building that it replaced.
Famous missionary explorer David Livingstone was a bit like that.
Only person I know who died with it was an elderly man (83) went into hospital as he was having trouble walking, appeared to be on the mend after a few days then tested ‘positive’ in hospital and was dead 4-5 days later. At no point was anyone allowed to visit him. Very strange.
Absolutely this. Imagine the difference that could have been made for this couple if even a fraction of the Patreon/tip jar/spite donation/'legal fees' that Monroe has pocketed could have gone to them.
Isn’t it brilliant that the only verifiable decent outcome that has arisen from Jack being on Twitter was completely by accident, and as a result of her own vanity, and the spite she throws at the people who are much poorer than she is who she has been ripping off for years.
“...and I can’t understand why she does it“? Really? how about “because she is getting £2,000-£7,000 a month for free, from (as of today) 667 mugs, for doing absolutely nothing but proclaiming that she is (in some unspecified way) ‘campaigning’ etc)”…
She's been caught scamming astronomical amounts of money from people, using provable lies & manipulation to make them donate. Luckily, she's more or less cancelled now. https://t.co/5hWJLdCMUI
Yet the 667 mugs (as of today) are still paying out £3.50-£10 —or more— each month to her, incredibly.
Besides Jack Monroe being a two-faced, narcissistic, dishonest, duplicitous, abusive, lying and grifting grief-thief for the last decade all whilst duping well-meaning people out of cash they can ill afford??
“Oh what a tangled web we weave/When first we practice to deceive” [Sir Walter Scott, Marmion, A Tale of Flodden Field].
2) Jack pretending to be poor while the pictures of her own house that she has shared on social media show that it is full of seriously expensive stuff – tens of thousands of pounds of high-end furniture, electronics, appliances and clothes?
3) The endless lies that she herself posts, including this absolute banger from yesterday which was clearly a confected story that she could use to explain why she’s about to have really expensive Farrow & Ball paint and wallpaper in her new home: pic.twitter.com/hJiMkauTVq
Ha ha! Incredible, yet at the same time almost inevitable. The “Bootstrap Cook” wanders lonely as a cloud through Southend or nearby, only to meet someone, by Fate or chance, who will no doubt (in this fairy-tale) “gift” “Jack Monroe” everything she needs or wants for the decoration of her new home.
Well, I am myself rather susceptible to tales of wonder and magic —and sometimes incredible “co-incidences” do happen— but, having now read a number of conflicting fantasies from the tweets etc of “Jack Monroe” (tweeted or said to interviewers over the past decade), I think it only fair and sensible to doubt this one (too).
It's really rubbing it in, isn't it? She'll literally talk shit about anything for hours but completely fail to address the important stuff.

“I was never able to paint colour on the walls in my rentals” is my new favourite Monroe lie, replacing Georgia Church Suppers.
So long as 667 mugs continue to shell out up to £10 monthly for absolutely nothing but to be part of the “Jack Monroe support echelon” or virtue-signal club, she will be laughing all the way to the bank (or the paint and wallpaper shop), even if (as no doubt will now happen) the msm “Bootstrap Cook” career on TV, radio, and in the Press ends, with the producers, journalists, and publishers running for cover (as I expect they already are).

Military situation update in Ukraine March 25th. Russia advance very little in Mariupol, in other areas of Ukraine not at all. Ukrainian counteroffensives on several fronts, results pending confirmation and moving fronts during the offensives. https://t.co/ApXmSCLEed
Ukraine has updated its extensive wishlist of additional military assistance from the US government to include hundreds more anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles than previously requested, according to a document provided to CNN https://t.co/PMgsUbV17G
So 1,000 missiles per day? At what point does a state supplying such weapons in such quantities become de facto an active participant in the war?
War in Ukraine: Latest developments.
– US supports kicking Russia out of G20 – IAEA alarm over shelling of Chernobyl staff town – Chechen leader says forces have taken Mariupol city hall – Biden to visit Polish town near Ukraine border https://t.co/GZYvzNXmJ8pic.twitter.com/2U1H38Ksii
Of the above news items, the only really immediately significant one is that the tough, indeed brutal, Chechen fighters attached to the Russian effort claim to have taken the city hall of Mariupol, i.e. the central part of the city (pre-invasion population around 450,000).
Morale in at least part of the Russian invasion force has obviously been a problem, which is no doubt why Putin has drafted in the determined and relentless Chechens; it seems that battle-hardened Syrian volunteers, motivated (by money) and experienced, may arrive before too long. That may stiffen the Russian line.
Ukraine’s president has appealed to Hungary not to block Kyiv’s bid to join the EU.
The EU really is a bad joke now. If Ukraine is admitted, then it means that all the supposedly carefully-worked-out EU membership criteria (social and political stability, territorial integrity, no part of a country being under occupation, economic stability, stability of currency etc) are worth squat, to put it colloquially.
Panicdemic
A graphic from a year ago, but well worth revisiting.
In cities and towns occupied by Russian forces, Ukrainian residents have been staging acts of resistance.
In the city of Kherson, which has been held by Russian forces since March 2, a huge Ukrainian flag was unfurled on a municipal building.https://t.co/02qs4j6E2K
VIDEO: A huge plume of black smoke rises from a fuel storage facility in the village of Kalynivka outside Kyiv, as Russia says it has destroyed the military site with Kalibr cruise missiles fired from the sea pic.twitter.com/BO0vcAukLJ
As Putin’s war nears a new, more dangerous phase, he is left with stark choices — how and where to replenish his spent ground forces, whether to attack the flow of Western arms to Ukrainian defenders, and at what cost he might escalate or widen the war https://t.co/yMKLpmVXMk
The Western arms being sent to the Kiev regime may well result in localized, and even wider, defeats for Russian forces in the short term, but will result either in the Russian high command (historically, the Stavka) committing more troops and equipment to the war (as it now is) or (and/or) using very powerful bombs, missiles and artillery to flatten cities in the south and east of Ukraine and also to attack, from long distances, strategic targets in the west of Ukraine.
So far, the Russians have not much targeted such as railway stations, railway lines, and major road links from neighbouring countries, in the west of Ukraine.
Neither have whatever Putin has in the nature of the old Soviet Spetsnaz forces been used to assassinate the highest-ranking members of the Kiev regime.
In Soviet days, so-called “Olympic Spetsnaz” (many officers of which were or had been athletes in Olympic competition) were assigned to be used against targets of the highest strategic importance— early-warning stations, missile launch sites, nuclear power stations and manufacturing plants, and the assassination of heads of state, heads of government, high-ranking military and naval chiefs etc.
When push comes to shove, Putin is not going to back down. The only question is how far his (it seems not very competent) General Staff and intelligence apparat will back him. As I said weeks ago, Stalin would have been shooting generals and spy chiefs right and left by now.
Jurors in Crown Court trial disbelieve Jew “victims” of alleged “antisemitism”
That book is well written, workmanlike, but unexciting. It covers much the same ground as “C”, an earlier and far more interesting study, written in 1985 by “Richard Deacon” [Donald McCormick; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_McCormick], an interesting writer whose books on espionage etc are always very readable.
Deacon’s book delved into Oldfield’s interest in astrology and numerology. For me, that was one of its most interesting areas. The more recent book ignores that area of Oldfield’s mind completely, which I think is a weakness in it.
The strengths of the 2016 book lie in its having more up to date material, and in the fact that the author could tell a few anecdotes about his uncle. Not enough, for me, and having read the earlier book long ago, as well as other material, I found the 2016 book rather derivative.
As for the now-tiresome recounting of what is publicly known about those over-rated people Philby, Burgess, Maclean, and Blunt, for me that was like seeing a merely so-so film for the tenth time.
Other aspects of the intelligence history (and indeed, general history) of the 20thC, I found very shallow indeed, and there were a couple of plain errors.
I don’t want to knock Pearce’s book too much. It is a fairly good read, and worth reading at that, but personally I would not give it more than 3 stars out of 5.
As for that Craig Brown article, I agree with much of what he says, but his points are weakened when he says that, for example, Maxwell Knight [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxwell_Knight] was “head of MI5“. Perhaps he should have been Director-General [“D-G”], but in fact he never was, though he was ranked as a director of the (then-small) MI5 in the 1920s.
When journalists and other scribblers cannot get basic facts right, it irritates, and makes the reader feel that their opinions are superficial (though, as said, I myself did agree with much of Brown’s article).
Incidentally, Martin Pearce has written but one other book, and that was about the Malayan Emergency [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malayan_Emergency], focussing on its military and intelligence aspects.
I do not know whether Martin Pearce was (or is) in the same line of business as his uncle; neither Amazon nor the dust jacket of Spymaster give any detail at all about his education, residence, hobbies, or occupation.
500,000 killed in the Ethiopian civil war in the past 16 months. Govt using Turkish drones to air strike refugee camps. No flags in bios for that one bc the regime has no financial interests there.
As billions more given away to the Ukraine stoking war, the UK continues to impoverish its own. Millions of deaths will be expected for driving the population into lower life expectancy. The numbers in the UK are out of control due to Johnsons incompetence and globalist rules.

Paris is slowly (?) becoming a zoo, just like London, Berlin, Stockholm and other European capitals corrupted by NWO/ZOG misrule, and migration-invasion.
A fairly hard-hitting video by Paul Joseph Watson, “@PrisonPlanet”. I do not rate Watson very highly from the strict political point of view, but his interesting vlogs have awoken many, at least from unquestioning acceptance of the propaganda pumped out by the System.
This time, the crime involved crazed lesbians, one of which (the actual murderess) was from some (unspecified but looking at the photo probably Irish tinker-“traveller”) “gypsy” origin, according to the newspaper report.
Is there more of this sort of terrible abuse now, as compared to, say, 1960, or 1930? I do not know. The breakdown of society, and social norms, may be part of the problem, but there is a dearth of reliable information.
The cost of the panicdemic/scamdemic “measures”and relief
Conservative Party candidates have won every election for the seat since 1832 (the seat was not in existence between 1885 and 1983), and the Conservative Party vote peaked in 2019 at 62.7%.
Labour, though traditionally usually coming in in second place, came close to ousting the Conservative candidate in 1997; only about 4 points separated the top two that year.
In 2019, the Labour candidate received a vote-share of 22.1%, but the same candidate had scored 31.1% in 2017.
The Conservative Party vote-share has risen uninterruptedly since 1997, whereas the Labour vote has generally declined; the 2017 Labour vote-share was higher than in most years.
It follows that, should the “unthinkable” occur and Shastri-Hurst not be elected, the shock to the Conservative Party (and “Boris”) would be seismic.
Among the 14 candidates are Reclaim Party (the Laurence Fox vehicle), Reform UK (the latest Nigel Farage pop-up), the rump of UKIP, and Heritage, as well as Green Party and the LibDems, whose best result in effect (as Liberal Party) was a second-place 31.6% in 1983.
In the past, it was likely that serious tactical voters would go Labour rather than LibDem, Labour having the higher likelihood of success in the seat, but that is an open question this time. The bookmakers put the Conservatives and LibDems neck-and-neck, and it seems that confidence is not high in the “Boris” camp. Having said that, bookmakers are often a poor source for election predictions, their odds reflecting (mainly) bets placed, many of which are placed far from the constituency.
Naturally, newspaper reports such as that, showing that the LibDems have a good chance, tend to encourage tactical voting.
As to how much the Conservative vote will be impacted by the smaller quasi-conservative parties such as Reform UK, Reclaim, UKIP and Heritage, hard to say but probably no more than 20% altogether. Still, that notional 20% could be crucial.
Turnout is forecast to be low, not least because many usually Conservative voters seem to despise “Boris” and his misgovernment, and so, unwilling to vote Labour or even LibDem, may simply abstain.
My assessment? I think that the LibDems must have a chance, anyway.
The usual Conservative vote may not turn out (though many will have voted by post already), the overall turnout may be low (favouring other parties), the majority of voters in such a seat will never vote for post-2010 Labour, and the four smaller baby-con parties will tap votes which would otherwise go Con.
The LibDems are not quite as zealous about Covid “restrictions” and “measures” (such as the facemask nonsense) as are the present Government and its Labour “enablers”. That may help the LibDems.
The Conservative candidate is non-white (apparently half-English) in a 95% white English constituency, though that may be of only peripheral importance, looking at non-white “Conservative” MPs elsewhere. I had never heard of him until today but, reading about him, he seems to be very much a “head over heart” person; the voters may not warm to him.
There again, many people just want to give both the “Boris” circus and the Labour “enablers” (who have just saved the Government’s bacon yet again) a good kick. That has to favour the LibDems. Still, fairly open even now.
It will be interesting to see how misnamed “Labour” does, too. About 31% in 2017, but only 22% in 2019 (both times under Corbyn). Now, under “Covid” zealot Starmer? If Labour cannot get at least 20%, it will be significant.
[Update, 14 December 2022: well, the above analysis stood up pretty well: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_North_Shropshire_by-election. In the event, the LibDem won “a famous victory” (famous for 5 or perhaps 15 minutes) with 47.2% of the vote (2019, 10%). The Con Party candidate crashed and burned (31.6%, down from 62.7% in 2019). Labour came in third, with a mere 9.7% (down from 22.1% in 2019)].

I spoke to ITV journalist @DanielHewittITV about his incredible and shocking investigation into social housing conditions.
He said he and his colleagues won’t be stopping until something is done. https://t.co/0Vh8Qeaewf
Makes this cringe-worthy quote even more cringe-worthy: “He’s been going around telling everyone Boris offered him a peerage after the election – he’s convinced he’ll be in the Lords next year,” a source said https://t.co/mqRl6Jy5hH
So to get a peerage now, if you cannot donate a million to a System political party, you have to do noteworthy things such as…set up a charity or “good cause” which closes after a year or two with all its monies “gone” under suspicious circumstances, then fail to become either an MP or Mayor of London, and then…oh. that’s it, except that it helps to be black or brown these days.
At least Stuchbery has given up describing himself as “historian“. Now it is “journalist/content editor“…

A rigged contest between an incompetent government and the official opposition that is enabling most of that government’s dictatorial “Covid” laws and regulations.
I have blogged before about potential minority Labour governments which would depend on SNP support. Problem would be that the SNP would like another Independence referendum, or even actual Independence. The hypothetical minority Labour government could not of course grant the latter without a referendum. As to the former, the SNP would probably make the holding of such a referendum a sine qua non of any Commons support.
Were a Scottish Independence referendum to be held, and were the SNP to win a majority for breaking away from the UK, as soon as the break happened, there would be no SNP MPs at Westminster. That Labour government would then fall.
On the figures modelled, Labour could then govern with LibDem support, but recent elections have shown the Conservative Party far larger in the Commons than Labour. No SNP might mean no Labour government ever again. An interesting conundrum for Labour, if those modelled figures were to match electoral reality in the next 2-3 years.

Pretty sad that a government can use the Whittys and Fergusons to give faked “credibility” to their agenda —or rather the agenda of a transnational conspiracy of which “Boris” and his clowns are mere puppets— and then use scribblers and talking heads to spread the fake news.
For some reason, far more hits on the blog today than usual; several hundred, in fact. The other unusual statistic is that two-thirds today are apparently from Germany, which is very anomalous. There are usually a few hits from Germany, but not hundreds! Deutschland erwache!?
For those who may be interested, this blog usually gets about 80% of its hits from the UK; the rest come from all over the world, though most are from the USA, Australia, and a few other countries (France, Germany, Canada, and —oddly?— China are usually represented). I have had hits from almost every country, even places such as Burkina Faso, Paraguay, and (once only, I think!) Antarctica. Perhaps Adolf, emerging from an Antarctic opening from the hollow Earth (by submarine or flying saucer?), with devotees of the Welteislehre! Only joking…
The atomization of the population, and the sophisticated tools now in use for repressing any collective political or socio-political dissent, may lead to a wave of “lone wolves”, unless a proper social-national movement comes into existence soon. That possible wave of lone wolves would be a pity, because only a social-national movement can save us.

When I’m fired on 1st April 2022 after 27 years service in the NHS, after a handful of days off (dying parent, ill child, bladder infection), after giving 110% to all patients, after working unpaid overtime, after being on call overnight so often, I shall hold my head up high.
I would compare these venal MPs to members of another old-established occupation, but at least those others give their customers pleasure, and/or a presumably required service, and at least the public does not end up footing the bill.
I did not know that, not that that matters, I not being a voter in North Shropshire.

All those who value the beauty of Oxford should be concerned about a new plan to massacre mature trees on a hillside overlooking the city, and litter the formerly wooded slopes with 60-foot student barrack blocks. pic.twitter.com/llIUic1kqS
Already, Oxford is very different to what it was, not in the time of Zuleika Dobson, or that of Brideshead Revisited, but to what it was in the early 1960s.
I recall going once or twice with my mother in or about 1962 to some kind of Oxfam volunteer thing on, I think, a Saturday (we lived between Reading and Wallingford, so not hugely far from Oxford). I recall tables strewn with donated clothing in some kind of church hall or the like. People were sorting them, I think.
I do remember fairly empty roads, even in Oxford itself. I think we drove past the famous meadow track where the 4-minute-mile had been broken in 1954; my mother remarked on it. Anyway, the point is that the city and surroundings seemed uncrowded, quite different to the congested Oxford of today, where driving and especially parking is a nightmare.
Yes, @claxheughrocks. The BBC said this morning that the inflation figures were a 'surprise'. Well, as official propaganda broadcasters, they are fast approaching the point where *everything* in the real world will be a surprise. https://t.co/FU0TiTWChD
Inflation 5%…not very long ago it was about 2.5%. Then we have the “proposal” to increase the pension age more rapidly than had been planned before the “panicdemic”.
Still think that “furlough” payments, and the rest of the “Covid” madness, came at no cost to the individual citizen? Think again…
Late music
Incidentally, the hall where that noble performance of Bruckner’s Ninth Symphony was recorded, on 7 October 1944, was destroyed by Allied bombing only weeks, or even days, later. There is now nothing left of the Beethoven-saal but a few stones and a couple of plaques. Wikipedia has the date of its destruction as 1 January 1944, which is probably a mistake (it may have been 1 January 1945).
A poor start to the day as—once again— Radio 4 TodayProgramme invites a Jewish “rabbi” on to exhale platitudes on its Thought for the Day slot. Once again, I say “why?“; Jews are “only” about a half or so of 1% of the UK population, but are on that Radio 4 slot about twice a week, so about 40% of the time. 80 times the numerical proportion based on percentage of the UK population.
Why is that slot so disproportionately Jewish? Also, if the disproportionate influence shows itself there, is that the case with the rest of the Today Programme and other Radio 4 output? I fear that it is.
Incidentally, if you want to see what “Zionist occupation” (as in ZOG”) looks like when writ large, you need only look at the tweet below, from occupied Germany…

All true, but sending letters to the MPs of the Westminster monkeyhouse will not really activate or frighten that corrupt pack.
2 @m1racles I also suspect that the existence and growth of an informal opposition to Covid policy among Tory, Labour and DUP MPs has been encouraged and amplified by the writing of such letters. https://t.co/BtgGiRlU1D
Well, maybe, but I blogged long ago, a year ago, that in a situation where an incompetent or unpleasant government is effectively a dictatorship, albeit notionally “elected”, opposition comes, and must come, from within the ruling party itself. That was even true of “real” dictatorships, as in the socialist world before 1989.
As to this government, opposition to these ruinous policies may be encouraged a little by letters received, but I think that at least a few MPs are at last waking up to the possible consequences down the line of a collapsing economy, high unemployment, very high youth unemployment, inflation etc.
40,000+ views so far. I tell Mike Graham here https://t.co/mPvsjvZtOx that government Covid policy is like ordering the army to glue all the leaves back on the trees, to prevent autumn. Amongst other things.
You have to keep at them, as the late Kingsley Amis used to say. What matters is *how many* such letters these vain ninnies receive. They can count (votes) even if they cannot think. Recruit others, pass on the model letter to colleagues, friends, neighbours, relatives. https://t.co/4huBMZwyXE
These https://t.co/AC5EJg8BvQ are real people, *your* friends, relatives, neighbours – perhaps the people who help to keep *you* employed by their spending or taxes. No man is an island. This disaster will affect us all.
Yes, lockdowns really do work – if you want to destroy the economy and society: Redundancies soared to record 370,000 in lead-up to second lockdown https://t.co/AC5EJg8BvQ
Exactly. For once I agree with faux-proletarian scribbler Dan Hodges, who has pointed out in his tweets that, whether “lockdowns” “work” (reduce infections) or not, they are simply not sustainable for very long, either economically or socially.
There is a choice in terms of judgment: is the Government (and some others in Europe) merely incompetent, or are the political leaders deliberately following a transnational conspiratorial agenda (the “Great Reset”)?
Also, the Government was discussing "vaccine stamps" for international travel. So how can anyone get a vaccine stamp if there's no central database of who's actually had the vaccine.
Labour people starting to panic about the polls. There is no point even thinking about them until we see the fall-out from Brexit, the fall-out from Covid and the fall out from the economic blow back from Covid.
Yes, but if need be Russia can put three million men in the field, of which 350,000 are regular Army personnel on active duty. That is around six or seven times the strength of the British Army; Russia also has available, on its western flank, at least 800 tanks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1st_Guards_Tank_Army_(Russia).
I support the right of Estonia to full independence, but these NATO games on Russia’s border are poking “the Bear” for no good reason. Britain has no need to again make an enemy of Russia.
In 1939, Britain gave a “guarantee” to Poland, a guarantee which turned out to be worthless, a bad cheque. When Germany invaded from the west, and the Soviet Union invaded from the east, Britain and France nominally declared war on Germany but in fact did nothing.
Perhaps Hegel’s aphorism is correct and “we learn nothing from History except that we learn nothing from History“…
It occurs to me: “if Harry Cole of the Sun “newspaper” is so impressed by one main battle tank, what would he think if 800 appeared and advanced towards him?”…
Another Harry Cole tweet:
"We will be there to make sure we protect our fisherman because they have the right to be protected as they go about their lawful business”…
Again, I fully support British fishermen and the integrity of UK territorial waters, including our right under the Law of the Sea to an Exclusive Economic Zone, where applicable, but this is not an easy issue.
If Royal Navy vessels defend British fishermen and the fish in those waters from French fishermen, and if then the French Navy moves to defend the French fishing fleet, could there be undeclared war (akin to the 1970s Cod War off Iceland) in the Channel? As far as I know, that would be the first UK-France naval “engagement” in the Channel since the time of Napoleon.
There is another point: a high proportion (it may be 40%, it may be 60%) of fish taken in UK waters is then exported at once to EU states, mostly France and Spain. If France and Spain ban imports of British fish, or (via the EU) impose ruinously high tariffs, that will kill much of what is left of the UK fishing industry as surely as if the foreign fishermen simply took all the fish…
The only possible good thing is that fish in the UK will be cheaper, so at least the British consumer will benefit to that extent.
So the hit on public finances (ultimately, paid out of taxation by the British people…) might be as much as £50 BILLION! Even if it turns to be nearer to £100 million or £1 billion, rather than tens of billions, I fail to see why most should get anything or anything beyond a nominal sum. The vast majority were not deported or detained.
So now, even if all that happened was that someone got an unexpected official letter telling them something such as that they might at some point be subject to deportation, they are going to get between £10,000 and £100,000!
I should imagine that many real British people who have been cheated in this society would welcome similar payouts to themselves!
Take a look at anti-British, anti-European Indian, Ash Sarkar, in that video. Forget her cod-“Marxism”. She openly says it: “White population of the UK down by 600,000, while the non-white population is up by 1.2 Million….face it lads— we’re winning.” As I say, forget the post-“Marxism”. It’s pure “race hate”…race hate by non-whites and against the white people who have created the vast bulk of what is worthwhile in our contemporary world, indeed the modern world since about 1400 AD.
If anyone wants to know why The Guardian is on its last legs, look no further than the sort of silly, entitled, lazy pseudo-feminist idiot-journalism personified by Zoe Williams.
It only takes one candle or a Swan Vesta to pierce the darkness. That is why both the Jews and the “antifa” idiots hate any free speech. That is why (((they))) put out huge effort from 2014 to late 2016 to get me disbarred (even though I had ceased Bar practice years before, in 2008). That is why (((they))) have made repeated false accusations and complaints against me to police, Twitter etc (they succeeded with Twitter: I was expelled in 2018).
(((They)) are often rather more stupid than they think they are. It was only because “they” conspired to have me disbarred that I started this blog, which becomes ever-more popular. I only started the almost-daily blogging after “they” had me expelled from Twitter in 2018.
The same is true of Alison Chabloz. It was only after “they” caused her to lose her job as a singer that she started to realize what a menace they constitute, and so to speak up more loudly; and it was only after “they” started to persecute her even more that she posted her amusing satirical songs online. Indeed, her 2017-2018 prosecution (initially a private prosecution by the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”), and conviction, has only spread her celebrity around the world. Even some of the more perceptive Jews have seen that, and regret (for that reason) that Alison Chabloz was ever prosecuted. They have tweeted about it.
We should cancel Christmas and anything wonderful. We should hide in our basement closets in terror. We should go broke and fully depend on our gov to give us permission to breathe.
Sadly, though, Peter Hitchens is the sort of person who wants to have “a civilized discussion” with the enemies of Europe’s future, with Krishnan anti-Brit, with Owen Jones, with Ash Sarkar etc, maybe with the “antifa” idiots, and with the Islamists and Zionists too, who knows?
My view? There is no point in pretending that we are in an Oxford Union debate. These matters are, not far down the line, matters of life and death. Britain, and all Europe, face existential threats. The response must be adequate and more than adequate.
Nearly 85,000 people have now watched my conversation of yesterday with @Iromg Mike Graham on @TalkRadio Why do people continue to believe that shutdowns save lives? there is no evidence for this at all. Rather the contrary.
I'm inclined to agree @sebross4 . But tens of thousands are still better than nothing. The fact that our state has not yet resorted to some of the oppressive measures in other nations her places *may* be caused by the existence of a small but determined opposition. https://t.co/HPqUN08DrX
Once you have thrown over the rule of law and embraced violence, @nordic_mike, you have licensed all others to do the same. As the nastiest people are generally the toughest, this is almost always a mistake. I wonder if you have ever seen real brute force. https://t.co/kjw67AqMnW
Life is better without “brute force”, speaking generally. However, there are times when socio-political or socio-economic pressure builds, without release. Then an explosion happens.
