So Yvette Cooper, the would-be dictator, Labour Friends of Israel puppet, and expenses fraudster, currently posing as Home Secretary, will probably ban Palestine Action. Pretty silly.

For one thing, this seems to have been decided not because a couple of activists vandalized RAF planes by daubing graffiti, but because they have made the RAF, the woman “commander” of that base, SERCO (who apparently provided the outsourced and in fact non-existent “security”, no doubt at a high price), and the Government, look very very silly.

Had there been even one dozy military policeman on duty and doing his duty, the protesters could have been told to get lost, or been arrested before they got anywhere near those planes.

This was not “terrorism” but fairly standard protest of the “action directe” type. The action that makes sense would be to actually have proper security on Britain’s few remaining RAF bases, and not to label a small protest group “terrorist”; which will, in any case, only drive the situation underground, I should imagine.

In the 1930s, both the Soviet Union and National Socialist Germany allowed tourism, in the case of Germany free individual travel as well as group tours, in the Soviet Union mostly escorted and tightly-monitored group travel. Where they differed more was in the reverse situation: the German authorities were happy to let their citizens travel, knowing that few if any countries in the world would eclipse Germany under Hitler in terms of lifestyle, facilities etc. In the Soviet Union, of course, only the approved few were allowed out to tour foreign countries.

British/English people, most of them, are not having children. Those that do have children are restricting the number to one or two, for the most part. Not enough. Below replacement-level.

We need to have a bloc, however small, of English ethno-national people, even if most of them are “non-political”— that does not really matter, in the big scheme of things. A basis for the foundation of a later people who in turn can be a foundation for a super-race, a quantum-leap in human evolution.

When I lived in Devon and Cornwall (both, first in a large country house in Cornwall, then in a farmhouse in Devon), I would see badgers at night quite often; sometimes, on the Devon side of the Tamar, I would drive down an almost unused single-track lane at night which was a back-lane off a back-lane. Badgers would be there, unafraid of the car because they rarely saw one, and would mass ahead of the car, about ten at a time. I would have to wait until they deigned to move aside. Lovely creatures. I cannot understand why backward cruel people sometimes hunt and kill them, but then Marx did talk about “rural idiocy“…

As usual, the (Israeli) Jews thought they were so clever making that sneak attack on Iran, but now look— not only have they not (yet?) subdued Iran, but Tel Aviv, their “window on the world” and second-largest city, lies in ruins, much of it anyway. Tourism is dead, investment is dead, trade and commerce is all but dead, and Iran still has thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of missiles, and untold numbers of drones, while Israel is running out of defensive missiles, we are told.

The damage is so bad that anyone photographing it, or posting photos online, is subject to arrest.

Meanwhile, those Jews who can, are fleeing.

The “antifascists”…

I do not “support” either side, but do support the ideal (which becomes a plan) of the European people evolving to a higher level, something that can only happen when Europe has an entirely or almost entirely European population.

I have had occasion to write about supposed “human rights” barrister Jessica Simor previously, most recently a day or two ago. Like so many other “liberal” and “human rights” types, her “liberalism” vanishes when put even slightly to the test.

“The reason the UK’s elite class is so hostile to Elon Musk and other dissenters is because they can sense they are losing control of the narrative and the conversation.

We are simply no longer in a world where the national conversation and what is considered “true” can be controlled by the same groups of people –who come from the same backgrounds, have the same values, the same political loyalties, and want the same outcomes. That era, when the elite class dominate what used to be the most important and influential institutions, is over. It is done. And, as @KonstantinKisin has rightly noted, it is never coming back. We are in a new era.

As I wrote in a book last year, many people in the West are rapidly giving up on “a national conversation” that no longer reflects their values, their voice, and which considers some groups in society, usually minority groups, to be more virtuous than others.

he elite class could have responded to this trend by opening themselves up; they chose to the opposite while also attacking anybody who questioned their consensus along the way.

This is why so many people are now flocking to new media –X, Substack, etc–all of which reflect how the game has changed, how the conversation has changed. And this new media, crucially, is insulating counter-cultural writers and thinkers who are willing to take on the broken consensus, professionally and financially.

Were they still in the legacy institutions these counter-cultural voices would be harassed, bullied, intimidated, cancelled, shut down and silenced. Just look at the amount of hostility I get from university academics or established columnists who think they have a right to control the national conversation, a palpable sense of entitlement. Well, they don’t. And they can no longer control the conversation. Because for the first time in history, we have a counter-cultural class, a counter-elite if you like, who are not only independent from the legacy institutions but are fully insulated and protected from those institutions. And through their reach, influence, and power, they can wield just as much influence over the national conversation, if not more, as the traditional elite class.

So long as ordinary people are willing to support and spread these voices the game has completely changed. The only people who have not realised this are the elite class, who even when they have tried to embrace new media have fundamentally misunderstood it.

Just look at the UK podcast circuit, the flagship shows. The same people. The same insiders. The same rotation of the same names who all cling to the same values but refuse to have any meaningful, serious, cross-cutting debate about possible alternatives. And just look at the reaction to the protests.

What much of the elite class, the elite conversation, considers “controversial” or “incendiary” views are entirely normal views out there in the country. Everybody can see this which is why public confidence and trust in legacy institutions is collapsing.

With a few notable exceptions, they refuse to open themselves up to alternative viewpoints and so are merely pushing more and more people to look elsewhere, hastening their own demise. Imagine for a moment if coverage of the UK riots and protests had only been available in legacy media. Imagine what that would have looked like.

This is why there are now two conversations going on in this country. What we might call the “approved”, official narrative that you see on legacy media, which is promoted by the elite class and which, in my view, looks ridiculous and out-of-touch with the country. As I said last night, if you really think what’s happening in Britain right now is because of a coordinated social campaign being led by Tommy Robinson, Andrew Tate, and Elon Musk then you really need to reassess what you are reading and how you are living because you are completely disconnected from the country.

…what we might call the “unofficial” narrative that is largely playing out on new media and which despite being framed by the elite class as “misinformation” or “disinformation” is often grounded in reality. We can all watch the videos with our own eyes. We can all read. We are not idiots. We are not mindless lemmings. There is no putting all this back in the box.

Personally, I think the elite class in this country now has a choice. They can either engage with new media and open up the national conversation to alternative viewpoints or they can continue to double down, which in the end will only fuel the rise of alternative media, writers & thinkers. So if you feel the elite conversation is no longer sufficient or needs to be radically reformed then obviously come and join us at http://mattgoodwin.org but beyond that ensure you have a bunch of other counter-cultural perspectives in your timeline each day, and you are promoting alternative voices. Because now is the time to be doing that, not clinging to some outdated, narrow orthodoxy which has left millions of people feeling they have no voice in the conversation. In other words, don’t be a sheep.”

Starmer-Labour is no better than the fake “Conservative” Party which was so justly binned at the General Election. Sadly, the Cons were not binned enough, and can now still pose as an “alternative”; still the official Opposition. 121 MPs. Pity it could not have been 100 or, better still, 21.

Still, looking at Starmer’s first month in power (a month and 3 days), one can see that he has no idea how to be a Prime Minister, no ideology (beyond his craven support for Israel and the Jewish lobby), no ideals to speak of, not even any interesting ideas. He may only have been Prime Minister for a month or so, but has had years to develop a plan. As the Americans say, all we hear are crickets.

The (Israeli) Jews are panicking. Their economy is collapsing. Both tourists and Israelis are trying to get out. The feared Israeli military machine has failed to completely crush Hamas in Gaza, despite huge devastation, and it may well be that, in conventional terms, Hezbollah is as strong as the Israeli forces in the North, leaving aside air power.

It may be that the USA should split into regions. I once saw a clever Economist Christmas special magazine that had a very compelling graphic of how the USA was already really a number of regions very distinct inter se. I think about 9 regions. That would have been at least 30, maybe 35 years ago.

The game is not…quite… at an end. There is still the possibility that a very small minority of Europeans (“Aryans” or, more accurately, post-Aryans) can take control sufficiently to vanquish evil and then create the basis for a new society which, eventually, over a long period of time, can become the foundation for an even later super-race.

As so often, people tweet or otherwise comment about the Muslim encroachment, and I have no argument about that, but they all too often ignore the fact of the far more powerful “Zionist” lobby, so embedded now in UK System politics, law, finance and business (obviously), and in the mainstream media and elsewhere.

Look at that cartoon. Islamic flags, but no Star of David or Israeli flags; yet which bloc or lobby is taking away freedom of expression in the UK? 90%+ of the repression is being co-ordinated by Jewish/Zionist and/or pro-Israel groups, such as the small but well-funded and very malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” kruzhok, which has attacked and tried to prosecute not only me but also such as Alison Chabloz, Al-Jazeera TV, David Icke, the Jewish —but anti-Israel— jazz musician Gilad Atzmon, and numerous others.

As far as my own situation is concerned, the “CAA” has engaged in a decade-long campaign against me (which fact the CAA admits, though saying it has been 7+ years-long). They also admit using the very peculiar Israel-lobby-owned “lord”, former MP Ian Austin, to pressure officials of the Crown (Clown) Prosecution Service, right up to the level of the Director of Public Prosecutions himself, to prosecute me on any basis that could be contrived.

The “CAA” (and their suborned dupes, the “Clown” Prosecution Service) were crowing online, including on Twitter/X, about having managed to get me convicted in November 2023, using the Communications Act 2003, s.127, a law so badly-drafted and unjust that the Law Commission has formally recommended its repeal, but the “CAA” has not tweeted at all about the sentence handed down in March 2024— 15 “rehabilitation” meetings with or via the Probation Service, and a costs order of £734 in all.

[I now, today, have just seen that the “CAA” website has published a long whining complaint that the sentence given to me was “scandalously lenient“. The “CAA” has nothing to complain about— its so-called “Director of Investigations and Enforcement” made a totally false allegation in 2021 that I had “racially abused” him. There was no evidence at all for that complaint, yet the individual has never been prosecuted, not yet anyway, for a quite plain attempted perversion of the course of justice].

I have little doubt that that “CAA” cabal will be trying to contrive another malicious complaint against me now that their 2021-2024 ones have fallen flat; fallen flat despite my 2023 conviction and 2024 sentence, because the sentence was fairly lenient (though I had hoped for an even-lighter sentence, a conditional discharge and/or small fine), and because the (rather fair-minded, in my opinion) sentencing judge refused to grant the pathetic —and pathetically-poorly drafted— Clown Crown Prosecution Service application to restrict what I say or publish on the blog.

Also, there was no suspended sentence of imprisonment— my written Defendant’s Argument on Sentence put paid to any idea of that sort, and Prosecution Counsel, to be fair, was not foolish enough to ask for one once the trial judge had effectively ruled that out at end of trial (let alone actual imprisonment).

Anyway, what that means is that, should the “CAA” and/or police and Clown Prosecution Service want to prosecute me again, i.e. for what has been posted on the blog since mid-November 2023, or what is being currently posted on the blog, they will have to start all over again, and if they were to do that (pointlessly wasting yet more tens of thousands of pounds of public money), the matter would probably not conclude until some time in 2025, or even later, were I to appeal any conviction and sentence (and, were I to be convicted again, an appeal might be more likely than it was in the 2023/2024 matter).

I should robustly defend any further attempt to prosecute me for anything, of course.

Actually, while I dispute that any of the material in respect of which I was recently convicted and sentenced was “grossly offensive” anyway, regular readers will have noted that the blog has, in the past months, taken on a more diplomatic and more thoughtful tone, while remaining staunch and steadfast in principle and ideology.

Incidentally, readers may like to know that no Prosecution application was made to the Court at trial or after sentence that any material should be removed from the blog. All the (5) blog posts (out of 1,800 posted since 2016) which were the subject-matter of the trial remain extant and, while naturally it is the wiser course for me not to link to them, browsing readers interested in seeing what nonsense the prosecution was can see all of those blog posts via the search box or otherwise.

Indeed, the Clown Prosecution Service and “CAA”, as well as the few mass media outlets that reported my conviction and/or sentence, have themselves republished most of the supposedly “grossly offensive” remarks about Jews allegedly first posted by me, thus spreading those remarks far and wide. Thank you, clowns!

My legal position now, in respect of the blog, is what it was this time last year, or indeed in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016 (when the blog started). The blog remains, all previous posts remain in place, and I continue to blog, despite the inevitably chilling effect on freedom of expression of the past year’s repressive legal process.

One of my favourite TV shows when I was about 8 or 9 years old.

Seems to sum up everything about Britain in 2024: the environmental calamity, the nanny-state-ism, but also the historical ignorance. The lower Thames (in my meaning, the Thames below Reading, and especially below Kingston) was actually far dirtier in the past, in the 1950s, and back to the 1850s, perhaps even the 1750s.

Still, it is true that the rivers of England and Wales have been almost abandoned by this Government. Effluent and agricultural (farmers’) vandalistic fertilizer and other runoff going into the waters; and water itself being abstracted to service the needs of a UK population growing by 500,000-1,000,000 each year (by reason of mass migration and/or migration invasion).

Looking ahead

It is all too easy to get distracted by the noise of the world, by short-term politics, by the daily news agenda, by personalities etc. We must try to look ahead, beyond the present year, the present decade; even beyond the present century and the present millennium.

My thesis, though complex in total, is simple in essence: humanity needs to make a quantum leap in evolution. In order for that to happen, there has to be a suitable demographic, ethnic basis. For me, that has to be the European peoples as a whole, particularly the Northern Europeans.

However, the European people(s) are not the end result, or the highest possible stage, but merely a base, also a transitional stage to higher evolution of consciousness.

It is a matter of concern that births and birth-rates to Europeans (including Russians and some other Slavs, the peoples of the far future) are falling quite fast now.

As seen in that tweet, even some Jews, indeed even some Zionist pro-Israel Jews, find many of the members of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) beyond the pale, so to speak. All the same, that ranting Jew politician was elected by Israeli voters. He is only expressing, in an extreme form, what is, at least arguably, the mainstream Israeli view in substance, though usually couched in a less extreme, less obviously violent way.

So far, the Israeli revenge attack on Gaza has killed 30,000-40,000 of the inhabitants, mostly women and children. The number grievously wounded must now be as many as 100,000.

Yet one sees Jews in the UK and elsewhere defend the Israeli actions (use of white phosphorus, use of famine as a weapon, flattening of huge areas of residential housing etc, use of drones and snipers killing families or lone unarmed civilians) as “defensive”, “justified“, “not genocide“, “not war crimes” etc. In effect, those (Jews and non-Jews) who support Israel, and who are tweeting support for Israel, are supporting those actions.

They are often the same ones whining and screaming that some child in London or wherever has chalked a swastika on a garage door or the side of a bus, and that that is a kind of “terrorism”, and that they feel “afraid” to go out of their houses. Pathetic.

As have many “Conservative” MPs. Britain’s immediate political problem in a nutshell— a special-interest group influences, and as good as controls, both main System parties.

Of course, I have no idea whether Paul Mason is or is not actually an agent of one or another secret government service, as many claim, but he has always struck me as being inherently unreliable, and not very trustworthy in any respect. That’s my honest opinion, anyway. Also, Mason is a little too enthusiastic about the idea of locking people up for their views…

In 1932, Australia Started an ‘Emu War’—And Lost It sounds like a joke, but the Great #EmuWar of Western Australia was real. Soldiers with #machineguns were deployed to fight off the flightless birds. What did the emus do to deserve armed combat?

Western Australian farmers had been facing hard times with their crops following the Great #Depression, and their difficulties increased tenfold with the arrival of some 20,000 emus migrating inland during their breeding season. The birds had been protected as a native species until 1922, but now that they were classified as “vermin,” all bets were off.

The farmers relayed their concerns to the government, which called upon a deputation of ex-soldiers—many now farmers—from the first #WorldWar, who requested the use of machine guns to fight off the emus.

The battle began in early November 1932, when the soldiers encountered a lock of about 50 emus and succeeded in killing several before the birds scattered. A few days later, however, a second encounter with about 1,000 birds turned into clear victory for the emus when a machine gun jammed.

The Australian media quickly came to see the enormous birds as foes too crafty for mere human #Soldiers . Even a newsreel from the era prematurely announcing a human victory describes the tall, long-necked birds as “an advancing army with keen eyesight…the enemy watching event through their periscopes raised up over heads of corn.”

The Emu War was summarized thusly by Australian ornithologist D.L. Serventy: “The machine-gunners’ dreams of point blank fire into serried masses of Emus were soon dissipated. Very interesting and bizarre. Despite having spent a few years at school in Australia in the late 1960s, I had never heard of the Great Emu War.

A great technical achievement, of course, but even as a teenager and young adult in the 1970s (Concorde was big news from the 1960s onwards, but only entered commercial scheduled service in 1977) I could not see the fairness of the British taxpayer paying out large amounts so that an aircraft could be developed and built, and then put into service, where the only passengers would be wealthy or very wealthy persons who in practice were being subsidized by those same poorer taxpayers who themselves would never be able to fly on Concorde.

An old schoolfriend of mine who lived in the Thames Valley had an inherited house over which, in 1977/1978, the Concorde would roar daily en route to New York; in the late afternoon or early evening. The devastating defeat of the German Reich triggered premature decolonization, with all the negative consequences in Africa and Asia that flowed from that— wars, civil wars, banditry, environmental degradation, extinction of species etc.

In addition, the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel in 1948 created the continuing problem which now threatens to develop into another world war. Also, the embedding of Jewish/Zionist power and influence in the Anglophone countries, France etc.

The defeat of the German Reich in 1945 also meant that Stalinist and post-Stalinist rule was imposed upon much of Central and Eastern Europe for over 40 years.

Had there been peace in Western Europe in 1939-40, or an armistice in 1940 between the German Reich and the British Empire, the Soviet Union would have fallen in 1941 or 1942, thus eliminating Soviet socialism at a stroke. So no devastation of Central Europe in 1944-45, no Soviet expansionism, no Cold War, no Korean War, no Vietnam War etc. Also, possibly, no Communist rule over China (and South-East Asia, and Korea).

Zelensky wants to showcase the drive to take back the Russian-annexed Crimea and appeal to the Muslim Crimean Tatar minority in Crimea. And the appointment of the Muslim defense minister is designed to sway Muslim countries, many of which tried to remain relatively neutral and did not join the Western sanctions against Russia for the invasion of Ukraine.

The replacement of the defense minister is a largely a political and PR move by Zelensky aimed at the US, Ukrainians, and the Crimean Tatars and Muslims. It is unlikely to change or influence the war’s outcome.

There is virtually zero chance of the Ukrainian forces take back Donbas and Crimea. As the Ukrainian counteroffensive attempt confirms, Russia has a significant military advantage over Ukraine. Russia can also resort to use of nuclear weapons in the very unlikely case that its hold over Crimea would be threatened.“

Having said that, when I was a London barrister in the early 1990s, I had a judicial review case involving a supposed former member of the Angolan security service. He was being held in Wandsworth Prison, which I visited for a “conference” (discussion with the individual), my only visit to that prison.

Though the staff were polite (to me), I could see that, even in the part of the prison where we were (a kind of bleak side-room, not the usual sort of “legal suite”) that Wandsworth was a pretty grim, and rather grubby place. I could see prisoners in a larger interior space nearby being exercized, walking slowly round in a large circle. The prisoner I came to visit, some time later in the month, and fearing extradition back to Angola, apparently tried to kill himself, according to his solicitor. The conditions cannot have helped his state of mind.

How ridiculous, to move a successful company like English National Opera out of its long-established home to some provincial centre.

Most countries concentrate their cultural treasures in terms of opera, ballet etc in one city, usually the national capital, a concentration of cultural forces. Moscow, Paris, etc. Not all, but the exceptions are countries which were only unified (or created) in the 19thC (Germany and Italy, the USA).

By all means tour around the UK, but base yourself in London. Also, the concentration of cultural companies in London leads to cross-fertilization of the arts.

I was saddened to hear, on BBC Radio 3 news this morning, that same report, i.e. that the number of swans counted on the Thames this year is about 40% lower than in previous years, and that, worse yet, part of the decline is because of “increased violence towards swans“. Jesus Christ! What sort of horrible bastards are cruel to swans?! They should be flayed alive if caught mistreating swans.

Having said that, there was always a small amount of such badness. I remember rowing my inflatable boat, with someone from my school, down the then-still-closed river Kennet in 1971, and seeing a dead swan in the water. The swan was obviously not long dead. That happened somewhere between Newbury and Reading. Not long after having seen the dead swan, we passed an unpleasant-looking young man on the bank, not older than about 20, with some kind of rifle or air-rifle. Were the two sights connected? I think probably they were.

Yousaf may just have cost the SNP a goodly portion of its votes.

I certainly do not agree with “Bootstrap Cook” that the solution to those problems is to “nationalize everything” (though I would not say no to railways, some energy supply, water supply, effluent disposal etc), her tweets here have some force.

I agree particularly with her that topping-up inadequate pay via Universal Credit is conceptually misconceived; I have always said that. It rewards economic enterprises which are poor-paying employers. It subsidizes economic enterprises via taxpayer monies, in effect. Basic Income is a better way to go, for all its defects or problems.

Personally, I would not subscribe to the “chemtrails” theory, not without more evidence, but it has occurred to me, repeatedly, how quiescent British people now are. They, most of them, have stood still and taken slap after slap over the past 30 years (a process which has been accelerating fast since about 2010: mass immigration and/or migration invasion by mostly backward peoples; the slow decline of most social services and facilities, from public libraries to Citizen’s Advice bureaux, and from the social security system to the NHS; the complete weakness of border controls; the patent unfitness of MPs, “royals” and others; the gradual decline of most aspects of living standards).

It has occurred to me, at least semi-seriously, that the System is putting something in the air or water… How else to explain the lack of real and direct opposition to what has been happening?

The quiescence is most marked in the young. The elderly are also quite compliant with System demands (eg the facemask nonsense), but in terms of demonstrations etc, one sees that the young appear to be almost absent. The ridiculous Insulate Britain protests (which I myself oppose completely) are staffed mainly —judging from Twitter and TV— by grey-haired and white-haired persons.

It might be objected “what about Greta Thunberg’s followers?”, but when you look at it, she only managed about 10,000 people (~5,000 “young”) at Glasgow (a city of nearly 700,000, in a region of Scotland that has nearly 2,000,000 inhabitants.

Again, Greta Nut’s young followers know that the msm and System support Greta Nut’s agenda, at least superficially. No-one will hate them for marching in favour of “reduced carbon emissions”, though many might pity them.

The most recent couple of opinion polls tell the same story, Labour still behind the Conservative Party. That despite the sleaze and corruption stories, despite the patent unfitness of “Boris”-idiot to fulfil the role of a prime minister, despite the shambolic present government, despite the continuing cross-Channel migration-invasion.

It has to be an open question as to whether the public will eventually detest and despise the present government enough so that Labour might be able to approach the Conservative Party in terms of Commons seats. Maybe, maybe not (and in any case, they are both System parties following, broadly, the same System agenda).

For me, the latest opinion polling speaks to Labour’s weakness.
