Strange co-incidence. I just happened today upon an old email (from well over 20 years ago), sent to me by a girl law student from Plymouth, and thanking me for talking with her and answering questions she had had. She wrote that her talk with me had decided her to continue with her degree course and to go into the practice of law.
I had forgotten about meeting that girl (at an evening reception put on by a university law faculty at a yacht club in Plymouth, and to which a number of barristers, solicitors, and judges had been invited).
I just looked up the individual’s name, to see whether she was mentioned as either solicitor or barrister (I should add that her name is rather unusual). Turns out that, after starting out at the Bar, she had switched to the solicitors’ branch, and is now a partner in a fairly large UK/international law firm, specializing in corporate/commercial work.

Saw the latest (misnamed) Celebrity Mastermind. Absolutely pathetic. Needless to say, and as usual, I had never heard of any of the supposed “celebrities”. I was unable to read Rentoul’s article because you have to pay, and I will not pay to read (evident) nonsense. If he means that Britain could somehow defeat Russia using conventional arms, in the Baltic, that would be equally crazed. Britain’s army is only about 70,000-strong now, and mostly rear-echelon, with perhaps as few as 15,000 truly battle-ready.
Even if Rentoul is suggesting that Britain is capable of defeating Russia in collaboration with France, Germany, Poland etc, that still comes up against the little problem of those 6,000+ nuclear weapons…
In any case, does Rentoul think that now-puny Britain, even with allies, could occupy Russia? Mad. Napoleon failed. Hitler failed. Look at their strength of will, and their massive and previously-successful armies, yet still they both failed, comprehensively so.
Rentoul needs to look again at history if he imagines that even an economically-booming Britain (of which there is no sign anyway) could somehow overwhelm Russia. History teaches, time and again, that economically prosperous and developed peoples are often defeated by relatively poor but militarily-strong peoples.
Of course, Starmer-stein has no chance of creating a wealthy, high-defence-spending UK anyway. The UK is importing a million blacks and browns each year; most are, at best, parasites, and many are actively criminal and/or hostile to us. That alone…

Britain and France guaranteed Poland protection from German invasion, despite this, and despite many warnings from Britain, Hitler invaded Poland anyway.

The “Battle of Britain” arose out of the battle for France, which ended in German victory that same summer of 1940. The Germans were focussed on destroying the RAF airfields both in Northern France and in the southeast of England.
Why could German forces not invade England after the Fall of France? Several reasons.
Firstly, Hitler ideally wanted the British Empire as an ally or, failing that, as a hands-off bystander, not as a defeated enemy.
Secondly, and more practically (and as the British successes of the Battle of Britain proved), the Luftwaffe was simply unable to attain air supremacy, leaving any invasion fleet open to merciless RAF and Royal Navy (Fleet Air Arm) attack from the air.
Thirdly, the German army and navy were unable to source sufficient carrying or ferrying capacity to land an invasion force large enough to be likely to be able to establish and hold a bridgehead in the southeast of England.
In fact, this was known to the British government at the time; Churchill was well aware of it, but it suited him to keep the British population in a state of invasion-fear and panic, as well as spy-mania (the view, popularly held, that German spies were everywhere— yet another war myth only dispelled several decades later).
Seelowe (Sealion), was only a contingency plan, but not a merely “paper” one. It might, under more favourable circumstances, have been upgraded to a genuine operational plan ready to be put into effect. Never happened.

Reform has indeed stalled, albeit at a good-ish level. Why has it stalled? Because it has made at least two or three very bad errors.
Firstly, Reform is now calling for deportation of illegal migrants in the future, but not of those already granted asylum. In any case, “illegals” are only 5%-10% of all migrants. To create or recreate a white European society in the UK, Reform’s policies would have to be far stronger.
Secondly, Reform itself has non-European candidates and officials. How does that look?
Thirdly, Reform has sent out a message that it wants to slash the Welfare State, and not only for non-Brits. Even for pensioners and the disabled. Who does Farage think are supporting Reform? Many are pensioners, many are disabled one way or another. Many are struggling financially. Farage, Tice etc do not really understand their own supporters. People who are doing OK under the present conditions have no obvious incentive to vote for radical change.
Fourthly, Farage and Tice are almost ludicrously pro-Israel, pro the Jewish lobby etc. Electoral death if they continue with it.

I have been talking and online-writing for years about what is happening in the West generally, and particularly about what is happening in the UK. Not an overnight collapse, just sliding standards across the board. Have you been to an NHS hospital recently? Did you ever see the better ones in the 1970s? Compare them. Today? Administration, or maladministration, in particular.
Look at the standards of MPs. Rock-bottom. One example: the Liberal Democrats were headed by Jewish-lobby puppet Jo Swinson before the present buffoon, Ed Davey. Go back half a century to the old Liberal Party, headed by Jo Grimond. What a contrast…
The same decline can be seen in the main System parties.
One of many possible examples: Liz Truss. 50 years ago, she would never have become Prime Minister, nor any kind of minister; probably not even a backbench MP. Some kind of assistant or secretary, maybe. Well, she did become an MP (albeit mainly on her back), and fate propelled that stupid, pushy, uncultured, semi-educated creature to the highest office, and look at the result.

I was just watching an episode, I think 5 years or so old, of The Chase. A question was asked re. which Prime Minister was “put into Room 101“, (the UK TV show) by Jeremy Clarkson. A choice of three, which the contestant answered, correctly, as having been David Cameron. The Chaser, “the Vixen”, Jenny Ryan, also answered correctly. However, presenter Bradley Walsh said, en passant, “I’d have gone Chamberlain”, and the “Vixen” said “I’m with you there“.
What they were really saying is that Chamberlain was rubbish because he tried to avert the disastrous war against the German Reich.
Neither Jenny Ryan nor Bradley Walsh are Jewish, but what they were doing there was making a kind of ritual minor obeisance to the Jewish lobby. To put it another way, they were signalling a kind of fealty.
The fact is that no-one the Jews/Jewish lobby/Israel lobby dislikes or disapproves will get on TV (and so make plenty of money) or stay there if they hold the “wrong” opinions. I can guarantee that if either of those TV faces were to have said, e.g., “well at least Chamberlain tried to avert a disastrous war“, that would be the end of their TV career. Just that. Killed stone dead.

Well, something seems to have happened over the last week— I admit that I am unused to having well over 1,000 individuals reading the blog in a single day (over 1,300 today, so far, and with still an hour to go before midnight), and those ~1,400 people have been reading a total of about 2,500 blog posts (so far today). For me, even one human soul is a big audience, in principle. Still, all to the good.
