It would be interesting to know the true rate or figures of desertions from the Kiev-regime forces, say in the past three months. Enormous, probably. Thousands. Maybe tens of thousands.
Zelensky’s Jew-Zionist dictatorship combines shambolic inability, corruption, and brutality. It is doomed.
“A pensioner was visited by armed police at his house after ‘jokingly’ asking a Barclays bank agent whether he needed to walk into a branch with ‘a bomb strapped to my shirt to get some attention’.
Eric Trim, 75, from Royston, Hertfordshire, was mystified after discovering that his £14,000 bank account was closed due to inactivity just weeks before Christmas.
The pensioner was forced to take out a loan to buy Christmas presents for his children and grandchildren before spending more than four hours on the phone to various different Barclays agents to resolve the issue.
After feeling as though he was getting ‘nowhere’ with each representative, he snapped in frustration and in a ‘tongue-in-cheek way’ said he will ‘walk into your bank in Cambridge’ and ‘tell them I’ve got a bomb strapped to my shirt to get your attention.’
Just two weeks later, two armed police officers arrived at his house to arrest him and suspended his firearms licence due to him being listed as a ‘threat’.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, the 75-year-old slammed Barclays bank for showing ‘no care’ towards him and questioned whether Britain has become a ‘police state’ after the officers arrived at his door.“
[Daily Mail]
That report just typifies so much about how Britain now operates.
Someone’s bank account closed down for no good reason.
The inability of a huge and profitable company (in this case, Barclay’s Bank) to deal with a simple enquiry and matter.
The afraid-of-their-own-shadows Barclay’s employees, who obviously ticked some kind of box as an excuse for their own incompetence and the bank’s inability to operate in a customer-friendly way.
Or maybe, the bank drones were the kind of idiots who, during the 2020-2022 “Covid” scamdemic/panicdemic, reported people for not wearing a facemask muzzle etc.
Finally, the equally-boxticking behaviour of the police plods, who obviously did not really believe that the bank customer was “a threat“, looking at how they took two weeks after complaint was made to go to his house and arrest him (and then justified their unnecessary arrest by ticking another box and suspending his shotgun licence; thus they can now close the case with “appropriate action” having been, supposedly, taken…).
The fact that the police arrived and rang the doorbell, when they supposedly viewed the poor chap as “a threat” who had a shotgun as well as, in the Barclays/police fantasy, a bomb, says it all.
Pathetic.
As to whether Britain has become a “police state”, yes it has, though (so far) mainly a pathetic velvet-glove one, and one which attacks mainly decent citizens, not the rabble who should be dealt with.
Vladimir Zelensky could face a reduction in financial support from the European Union due to the negative consequences that Europe began to face after the suspension of Russian gas transit through Ukraine, Forbes writes.

Israeli Jewish woman commenting. No compassion, no reserve, no decency. Typical.
Asked how many Gaza civilians have been killed, this Israeli woman sums up the attitude of much of Israeli society: "Who gives a shit?!"
A question never asked in the West: How can the rest of the Middle East live in peace with an Israel whose public is fine with genocide? pic.twitter.com/AsDm3G4qpO
Again. Listen to the accent, too. American. Another carpetbagging Jewish settler or other incomer, living on land on which she wrongly believes her ancestors lived (and which therefore gives her and others some kind of divinely-ordained right).
Translation: “I remembered that I am a Zionist Jew, and that that trumps anything else, including everyone else’s rights“…
Even if Israel were to kill a million non-Jewish women, children, and other non-combatants (and the Israelis are well on the way, even in the past 15 months), many, perhaps most, Jews in both Israel and the West (including the UK) will respond to the expressed horror of others by referring back to the several hundreds killed by the Hamas assault of 7 October 2023.
A 15-month mechanized killing-machine operation, compared to an attack in one relatively small part of Israel abutting Gaza, which latter attack lasted a few hours, or a day or so.
Now the Israeli state is basically killing the surviving population in Gaza, via cold, hunger, destruction of hospitals, removal of help, medical aid, shelter, and also by randomly killing Gazan civilians of all ages.
No doubt, Israel will eventually settle the bulk, maybe the whole, of Gaza with militant Jews from places such as the slums of Brooklyn, or American/Australian/whatever suburbia.
At present, the Israelis are doing to Gaza exactly what the Romans did to defeated Carthage, but worse, because they are not even providing the survivors of the Gaza slaughter anywhere to go. Look at this report from the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz:
“ISRAEL: Members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee say IDF’s actions in Gaza foil war’s objectives; all food, water sources must be destroyed.“
“It’s now time to fix the border,’ said one of the members of a group that gathered on the northern border during Hanukkah, to press for the expansion of the Galilee, into Lebanon.”
““Diluting the population,” “evacuating homes,” “expulsion,” “exile,” “emptying” and even “transfer.” A broad array of words was used by Israeli government ministers during the historic deliberations in the 1960s and 1970s.”
[Haaretz]
“Resettlement”? That sounds familiar. Where have I heard that before?…
Is that the plan? (as well as taking over all European and European-origined states from the inside, via the “you know who” fifth column)…
A few Israeli Jews are dissenting from the mainstream Jewish opinion, it seems:
“Early Americans Were Feeding Wolves and Coyotes, Study Suggests
The story of dog domestication isn’t as straightforward as assumed, analysis of large canid remains in ancient settlements in Alaska implies. Doesn’t mean the wolves or coyotes were pets.”

If there is one (now-ex-) politician I despise, it is Clegg. In 2010, a gullible voting public gave him enough MPs to demand electoral reform. Gordon Brown was willing to give him the halfway house of AV (Alternative Vote) at once (in 2010) without even having to hold a referendum; then later a referendum on real proportional representation, in return for basic LibDem support in the Commons for a minority Labour government.
That could have changed everything, but Clegg and his pathetic LibDem crew sold out to the fake “Conservatives” under David Cameron-Levita, and for what? Ministerial jobs, red boxes, government cars, higher salaries, and the fiction that the LibDems were finally “in government” in a meaningful way. That and, as a figleaf, a rigged AV Referendum.
Clegg and his LibDem crew acquiesced in all the terrible and damaging policies carried out by the part-Jews Cameron-Levita and Osborne between 2010 and 2015, then jumped ship to work (at a salary in the millions) for the Jew Zuckerberg at Facebook in California.
Someone completely venal, and completely useless, with neither honour nor integrity.
Incidentally, “Shortly ahead of the election, Clegg was asked about his own expenses by Andrew Neil of the BBC. Clegg allegedly claimed the full amount permissible under the Additional Cost Allowance, including claims for food, gardening and redecorating his second home. The Telegraph also said Clegg claimed £80 for international call charges.” [Wikipedia].
He took every penny he could despite his inherited family monies and trust fund, and despite both he and his wife being paid hundreds of thousands of pounds annually via salaries and (possibly) more legitimate expenses claims. The “food allowance”, by the way, was (until done away with sometime after 2010) a boondoggle via which MPs could claim up to about £500 a month, no questions asked or receipts required, “for food”. Many MPs, like Clegg, and like that horrible Jewish-lobby puppet Tom Watson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Watson,_Baron_Watson_of_Wyre_Forest], claimed the full amount (worth at least £950 a month in the money of 2025) every single month.
“Graduate pay is falling – and an aggrieved generation could join white-collar workers in supporting Reform UK.“
[Guardian]
Reform UK is but a stepping-stone, not the ultimate destination, and in multiple error ideologically, but the basic premise, based on the revolt of the “graduates” (whatever that really means these days), is interesting. The NSDAP was supported by many students and —often disenchanted— graduates.

My tentative opinion on that is that Trump is someone who likes to present himself as someone who gets things done. If Russia stays firm, Trump will offer more, probably.
From the Russian side, all that matters is whether Trump continues to give arms, ammunition, and money to the Kiev regime. There are three possibilities— more, less, or the same. “Less” can be split into “some” or “none”. My money is on “less” (but still “some”). That would mean that, in view of Russia’s superiority in numbers, arms, ammunition, and money, as well as having the backstop of both tactical and strategic nuclear weapons, Russian forces will continue to advance steadily in Eastern Ukraine during 2025.
As often said on this blog, Russia cannot lose this war and will not lose it.
Having said that, it is tragic that the Russian forces seemed pathetically incapable of executing a swift “Blitzkrieg for the sake of mercy” in early 2022, when the whole of Eastern Ukraine, as well as Odessa and Kiev, might easily have been taken with minimal loss of life and minimal damage generally.

On the morning of January 1, the transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine was completely stopped due to Kiev's refusal to extend the agreement. The European Union may lose about 30% of pipeline gas import from Russia:https://t.co/RkQ8TRBDLhpic.twitter.com/vHnUnIFWLm
Seems as if making a cheap Jewish TV-comedian “President” of Ukraine and de facto generalissimo was not such a good idea…
More seriously, for how long can the Kiev-regime forces continue to suffer such losses? 1,000+ per day. That’s huge. Even if it is claimed that Russia is also losing enormous numbers, Russia has a far larger population; the likelihood is that Russian losses are anyway not as catastrophic as those on the other side.
Trump’s actions as US President will be key to how fast the Kiev-regime front continues to crumble. It is very unlikely that Trump will continue the open-handed Biden policy. There will certainly be no increase in the supply of arms, ammunition, and money to Kiev; there is every chance that the supply will diminish, and it may stop altogether.
Any peace agreement acceptable to the Russian side will probably involve the forces of the Kiev regime falling back on Kiev, at least, and across the entire front falling back across the Dnieper.
That alone will not solve the problem of Kiev itself; nor that of Odessa. It may be that a solution is to make them both “free cities” not organically part of either state.
Russia is probably willing to accept the above, so long as the rump Ukraine state (centred, arguende, on Lvov) does not join NATO.
Whether the present Kiev regime would accept such a peace is uncertain, but if the front continues to crumble, Zelensky —now ruling unconstitutionally, having cancelled elections— may have little choice. He is running out of “soldiers” (press-ganged cannon-fodder), his “state” is almost entirely dependent on Western aid (and the charity of NGOs and innumerable Western individuals), and Russia is forging ahead in terms of arms and numbers of men.
The only hope for Zelensky’s regime, now that the USA and most EU states are rowing back from the real peril of nuclear war, is that Russia implodes, and Putin is deposed (and then replaced by someone less determined). If that is going to happen, it will have to happen during 2025; after that, Russian forces will be at the gates of Kiev anyway.
“A woman who went missing 52 years ago has been found alive and well after police released a grainy photograph as part of an appeal, solving one of Britain’s longest-running missing person cases.
Sheila Fox, now 68, disappeared from Coventry in 1972 when she was 16. At the time, West Midlands police said she had been living with her parents and could have been in a relationship with a man. Officers said they were keeping an open mind, believing she may have moved out of the area.
On Sunday, West Midlands police launched a fresh appeal to help find Fox, releasing a photograph of her from around the time of her disappearance on their website and social media.
Within hours of it going out, members of the public had got in touch with information, and on Wednesday police officers confirmed that Fox was alive and well. They said she was living in another part of the country.“
[Guardian]
So the police decided to try to find a woman who (obviously intentionally) had wanted to live a different life, and who disappeared from her usual life 52 years ago, in 1972.
Why is public money being wasted like this?
If there are indications of “foul play”, then by all means try to find a missing person a year after disappearance; indeed, maybe 10 years, or even 20 years later. After that, better to draw a line under it.
In fact, as far as actual crimes are concerned, I believe that there should be more limitations of time than presently exist. Most magistrates’ court matters already have (and have had since 1980) a 6-month limitation period, which saves the courts and police from getting clogged by relatively trivial matters going back years.
Stupid Theresa May (Conservative Friends of Israel member) changed that in part, in respect of offences under Communications Act 2003, s.127 (a “bad law” anyway); such offences are now (sometimes) justiciable up to 3 years from commission, but all that has done is to embolden malicious nuisances, such as the Jewish “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”], to nag the weak police and CPS to investigate and prosecute, pointlessly, tweets or blog posts years after they were allegedly posted. See my own free speech trial for example:
The whole purpose —wrongheaded anyway— of the legislation in question was to deter and punish “grossly offensive” tweets etc more or less at, or not long after, the time when they were published, not to enable malicious trolls to get the police and CPS to bring silly and pointless prosecutions years after the material comments or remarks were allegedly posted online.
The present systemic delay in court proceedings also means that an allegedly unlawful tweet or blog post published today, in early January 2025, might not be charged until early 2028, and might not come to court until late 2028, or 2029, or even, in extreme cases, 2030. Ridiculous.
Many countries have time limitation even for serious cases, even including such crimes as murder. Japan, for one. Also, many states of the USA.
Yes, it does mean that a few criminals, even murderers, are never prosecuted, merely by reason of effluxion of time, but “hard cases make bad law“, as we have seen in many of the laws passed in the UK in the past 20-30 years. The minds of police and prosecutors should focus on cases of (real) crime in the present world, not possible crimes committed years or even decades ago.
“People with Scandinavian ancestry were in Britain long before the Anglo-Saxons or the Vikings turned up, researchers have found after studying the genetics of an ancient Roman buried in York.
Instead of considering all of the genetic differences between populations, the new method focuses on relatively recent mutations within genomes – arising, for example, in the past 30,000 years or so – allowing the relationships between genetically similar populations to be explored in greater detail.
Among other findings, the team was able to shed new light on the migration of Germanic groups early in the first millennium, revealing at least two waves of migration from northern Germany or Scandinavia into western, central and eastern Europe.”

Ukraine will face major problems due to the suspension of Russian gas transit, said Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk. ” Kiev’s losses are colossal. Ukraine will lose transit revenues, which previously amounted to $800 million per year ,” he added.
Dmytruk said that the Ukrainian authorities will try to compensate for the loss at the expense of domestic consumers, but “none of it will work.” He noted that this is another anti-state decision by Vladimir Zelensky.“
Of course, it seems odd that, during the currency of such a bitter conflict, the Russians have been pumping gas across Kiev-regime territory to Central and Western Europe for 3 years, with the full agreement of the Kiev regime, and paying the Kiev regime handsomely for facilitating that and for not interfering, in effect.
It’s a mad world, but that arrangement suited both sides; a “Devil’s alternative”, if you like.

He explained: “Ukraine may be obligated not to try to return them. We will certainly see obligations or an understanding that it will not be returned to Ukraine by military means.“
According to him, at the same time, the West will not recognize Moscow’s territorial acquisitions. Some Western media outlets have reported that Vladimir Zelensky is allegedly ready to end the conflict without returning to Ukraine the territories controlled by the Russian military.“
Endgame?
In the General Election of 2024, over 40% of people decided not to vote. Many, perhaps most, of those non-voters were, in all likelihood, disgusted by the whole “Westminster Monkeyhouse”, by all System parties. Others voted Reform UK, as an angry gesture as much as anything. Things may be getting to the point where a majority of people in the UK, especially in England and Wales, consider elections a rigged waste of time.
It may be that only the present repression, MI5/police snooping, severe prison sentences, and the relative unavailability of weapons etc, are keeping the lid on more, and more-directed, incidences of uprising.
Only social nationalism can offer real hope, yet there exists no political party of any size offering people that as an electoral alternative.
The System might be able to relax, were its governments and ministers, such as the government led by “Tel Aviv Keith” Starmer, competent or lucky. Such is, however, not the case.

“NATO will be demilitarized for a decade in the event of a conflict with Russia and China , said American military expert Will Shriver. “
“In a conventional conflict against China and Russia, NATO would exhaust all its stockpiles of missiles of all types, lose dozens of large warships and hundreds of its best aircraft – and all in less than a month ,” he added.“
The UK should stay out of any such conflict which, if it starts, might well go nuclear, finishing our country forever.
Having said that, if NATO were to lose such a conventional war, part of the ensuing peace agreement might —speculating rather much— involve the demilitarization of the UK under a properly British but pro-Russian, or not-anti-Russian, government, perhaps a social-national one. That might actually be better for most British people than where we are now.

Only the European peoples, improved and elevated, can provide a foundation over time for a quantum leap in human evolution, a “super-race” if you like. Something that will take not even hundreds but thousands of years to come to fruition. It can only come to fruition if there is a suitable European (post-Aryan) base there as the foundation stone.
The Englishman posted British flag on Facebook and British police moved to arrest him for causing "a serious crime of a threatening nature which caused anxiety to anyone”.pic.twitter.com/e3s2rdfi0d
I have tried, in various interactions over the past decade with what now passes for a police force, to explain the law (and what is perfectly lawful and does not require their attention), but most of them have been brainwashed into believing (wrongly) that anything that some stray troublemaker, especially if Jewish, as with the malicious (few) individuals who pretend that they are the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] says is “offensive” (to the malicious complainant(s) is, ipso facto, both “grossly offensive” and contrary to law. Not so.
Actually, the policeman in that Laurence Fox clip misquoted the Act.
You can see from this https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/21/section/127 that an offence may be committed if someone sends [such] a message with the purpose of causing needless anxiety to another. Very hard to prove both purpose and needlessness.
The Communications Act 2003, s.127 was recommended for repeal by the Law Commission a couple of years ago but is still in force. I am named in that Report as one of the lay (public) consultees (“lay” despite the fact that I was a barrister until malicious Jew-Zionists procured my wrongful and actually unlawful disbarment in 2016, and despite my still being nominally a member of the Bar of the State of New York).
If Jess Phillips couldn't breathe properly, triage would prioritise her case. Sadly JP seems to have an exaggerated sense of self importance. The fact that a doctor made encouraging conversation with her, as they often do to reassure patients, is being entirely misconstrued.
Jess Phillips was probably made a Parliamentary Under-Secretary [PUS], the lowest rung on the ministerial ladder, because it means that she has to more or less shut up unless supporting the Government line. She gets (on top of her over-£91,000 MP pay, and generous expenses) a further £25,000+ for being a PUS. She loves money and is a huge freeloader and moneygrasper. She will not wish to lose the extra cash.

“I thought that I would be safe and that the police officers would deal with him, but that wasn’t the case.” Shameful failure by the two Met Police officers in this case. No urgency. No care.
Student @zahra_etc was hit in the face with a plate by a male customer whilst working in Nando’s. Instead of arresting the man, Met Police allowed him to leave the scene…
Zahra claims she was initially verbally abused by the man and that she was later attacked by the male customer. Zahra said she alerted one of the officers – a female – who “didn’t seem bothered” about the attack, and told her to speak to her male colleague.
She claimed the male officer “took the man outside”, but then let him go without taking any of his details or taking a statement and without checking the CCTV.
While the male officer was talking to the man, Zahra said the female officer was “laughing and joking” with the woman and playing with the baby.
“I was really disappointed and extremely upset by that,” she said.
Zahra’s attacker has not been caught. Following the assault, she said she had been “discouraged and gaslit into dropping the case”. “I felt alone, like I had no-one to support me in that moment. I felt kind of hopeless, I felt extremely vulnerable.“
Apart from the obvious “two-tier” aspect, how incredibly incompetent those police “officers” seem to have been. Imagine not even taking the attacker’s name and address etc!
Frankly, I think many of our police are so lacking in basic nous that they “couldn’t catch a cold“, in the oft-heard phrase. Never mind. Show them an “anti-Semitic” tweet, or a Facebook post critical of so-called “travellers” (Irish tinkers), and they will be on the case at once, no doubt…
Also, what were the policeman and policewoman doing there together anyway? Sounds as if they prioritized their social (?) life.

The Kiev regime just keeps pushing and pushing. Its only hope is for NATO to be dragged into direct conflict with the Russian Federation, and that dreadful possibility is becoming more likely with every passing day.
In other words, the Jew Zelensky wants Russia to flatten Kharkov or even Kiev, so that idiots in the NATO set-up decide to “respond” by attacking Russian forces, or by giving the Kiev regime missiles capable of reaching Moscow or Petersburg, and approving the use of them. Madness.

I think that the British people, after only a month and two days, have awoken to the fact that they binned one useless misgovernment only to “elect” an even more hopeless and useless Starmer-Labour regime, which is both dictatorial and useless.
Paul Mason is some kind of NWO/ZOG mouthpiece, maybe (and many have suggested this) an agent of the UK security/intelligence services.
I find it very suspicious how his published and broadcast views have morphed over the years, and are actually quite opaque: sometimes quasi-Marxist, sometimes anarcho-syndicalist, sometimes in favour of aspects of finance-capitalism; sometimes all in favour of violent protest, but then often equally in favour of authoritarian clampdowns.
Mason tried several times to get into Parliament but never succeeded. Even Starmer-Labour would not have him.
The common feature in what Mason has said for many years is that he always favours dictatorial limits on free speech and freedom of expression, and he is always hostile to white European self-determination. He himself is a part-Jew.
I noted the above example of Britain’s new poundland Stasi yesterday, as well as the latest visit of the police to my home, about 5-6 weeks ago, which was in relation to comments allegedly made by me on Twitter/X apparently not long ago, which I found puzzling because my Twitter account was permanently shut down in 2018, and I have made no Twitter or Twitter/X posts since then.
Even more puzzling was that the policeman came to my door (he was not invited in and, to be fair to him, did not ask to enter) despite the fact that the (I think) two supposed tweets in question had already been examined by the police and, as he put it, “NFA’d” (“No Further Action”). So why was he even deployed?
Part of the problem here is that “a certain element”, i.e. the Jewish/Zionist/Israel lobby fanatics, seem to be able to make malicious and untrue “complaints” to police without any consequences for them even after the complaint is shown and proven to be both untrue and malicious.
For example, in 2021, the main active individual in the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, one Stephen Silverman, made an entirely untrue, false, and malicious complaint of “racial harassment” against me. The events are chronicled in the blog post below from 2022:
The complaint made against me was entirely false. I had never had any direct contact with Silverman, did not know his address or telephone number, and had never sent any message of any sort to him. He, however, has been trying to harass me for nearly a decade, by making false allegations of various kinds. His Jewish-Zionist “CAA” cohorts, too.
The CAA admitted on their website that they have been trying to “get” me for 7 years (longer, I think).
Now the making of a false and malicious complaint of that nature is an attempt to pervert the course of justice, a serious crime. In the 2021 case mentioned, though, not only was Silverman never charged with such a crime, but (following political pressure by the “CAA” on police, CPS etc), though I was never charged with “racial harassment”, I was, much later, in 2023, charged (by post) with having posted supposedly “grossly offensive” remarks and cartoons on the blog, nothing to do with the earlier allegation, but still instigated by Silverman and the “CAA”:

Useless.
As to whether I myself have any trust in the police— not really. I might have answered differently 15 years ago, maybe even 10 years ago, but not now. The police I have dealt with personally in respect of various matters have ranged from just useless to unpleasant, to actively politicized and biased; and not forgetting their having been extremely ignorant of the very questions of law, history, and civil rights that several of them have claimed to know about.

Starmer’s underlying problem is that he and Labour do not represent more than a small or even tiny number of people. 34% voted Labour at GE 2024, so only a third anyway, but 8 out of 20 people did not vote at all, and even many who voted Labour did so mainly to bin “Conservative” MPs and the Con government of the little Indian money-juggler, Sunak. The real level of support for Starmer-Labour is only around 10% of the adult population.

I believe that he is some kind of I.T. specialist from Bath University who has the same name as me and, slightly irritatingly, happens occasionally to tweet the odd view not dissimilar to my own (as seen in the tweet above).
Anyway, my earlier mentions of Paul Mason stand vindicated. He wants to shut down various online services and platforms because they allow a greater level of free speech than he wants.
Paul Mason is not only a socio-political extremist with very murky motives and connections, but (like several members of the Starmer-Labour Cabinet) a would-be tyrant. He has no future, politically, though.
Reminds me of tweets I have seen in the past few days showing the police in the UK breaking into the homes of English protesters, the police very brave when confronted by lone women, pensioners etc…

Starmer knows this, and many of his MPs will be looking on nervously, clinging to any scraps of copium. The north of England will now be seeking an alternative political home. If Farage has any sense, he'll pour a LOT of money into those constituencies for the council elections.

Peter Hitchens is a confirmed political spectator, and has certain fixed views, one of which seems to be a huge over-valuation of the importance of voting every 4-5 years. He thinks that MPs are terrified of their voters voting them out. No, because they have incentives to vote according to other motivations, such as lobby money, outside “work” as “consultants”, party discipline (careerism), possibility of a paid “peerage” down the line etc.
Another Hitchens characteristic is that he is very fixated on the “two main parties” set-up which has dominated British politics (with LibDem and SNP distractions) since the Second World War and to a large extent since the First World War.
Hitchens seems to think that it was wrong for the public to turn to Reform UK, and that it would have been better to have had a Labour government with a much smaller majority.
I disagree. That would change nothing, and the UK needs to change (though not in the Starmer-Labour way). Hitchens seems to support a different kind of Conservative Party, if possible, but you cannot put new wine into old bottles.
There isn't one. If there was an opportunity to reforge conservatism in this country, which is arguable, it passed in 2010, when British patriotic conservatives endorsed David Cameron's Blairite takeover of the Tory Party.( as I have said here 1,000 times before).@rikstoreyhttps://t.co/TUXqKHA67o
Regular readers will know that I have little time for Farage, let alone Tice etc. They are not social-national. However, their Reform UK project has moved the “Overton Window”, and has started to break up the rigged political system that has been in place all of my life.
Hitchens is right in saying, as he does, that Reform UK is just Farage, but you could have said that about, say, on a higher and more significant political level, Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP.
As Rudolf Hess said, famously, at Nuremberg in 1934, “Die Partei ist Hitler, aber Hitler ist Deutschland wie Deutschland Hitler ist!” [see https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6uajey at 1:43:00].
For me, Reform UK is but one means to an end, not the final destination.
Not Keir Starmer, .@mrsonicadvance . *?Please* grasp the breathtakingly simple point of voting *against*. It hopes to *prevent* an undesired outcome. I long ago ceased to imagine that voting in Britain could have any positive outcome for conservatives. https://t.co/HYitBymN2v
Does Hitchens really imagine that Starmer-Labour is or will be worse than (or even very different from) the “Conservative” governments of the past 14 years?
“In his 1991 book Geschichtsdenken im 20. Jahrhundert (Historical Thinking in the 20th Century), Nolte asserted that the 20th century had produced three “extraordinary states”, namely Germany, the Soviet Union, and Israel. He claimed that all three were “abnormal once”, but whereas the Soviet Union and Germany were now “normal” states, Israel was still “abnormal” and, in Nolte’s view, in danger of becoming a fascist state that might commit genocide against the Palestinians.”
Good grief. What a list! Only one or two are even European. Suella Braverman of Indian origins; James Cleverly of mixed African and English origins; Kemi Badenoch, Nigerian; Priti Patel, East African Indian origin; Tom Tugendhat, quarter-Jewish; Robert Jenrick, possibly fully-English (uncertain); Victoria Atkins.
Speaking personally, if I were in any case a Conservative, I should find Jenrick unacceptable by reason of his seeming (?) corruption, his Jewish personal links (not just his wife, his social circle, which seems to consist largely of Jewish business sharks), and his poor judgment in office.
Tugendhat? Apart from his part-Jewish origins, he is very very keen on support for Israel and the Kiev regime. Also, I am always suspicious when someone, especially from a privileged background (his father was a High Court judge), has a large hole in his or her CV.
Tugendhat seems to have graduated in or about 1994, then spent a year (?) getting a Master’s degree in Islamic studies. After that, he spent a brief time as a journalist on an English-language newspaper in Beirut.
We next hear of Tugendhat about 6-7 years later, in 2003, when he is gazetted as a Territorial Army officer (after a month or two, joining the Intelligence Corps); as of 2013, Lt.-Colonel in the Int. Corps. He was also working, ostensibly for the Foreign Office and in a civilian capacity or role, in Iraq in 2005.
As MP and minister, Tugendhat has been associated with both “security” matters and allied matters of so-called “extremism”. He seems to be hostile to free speech, especially about Israel and the Jewish/Zionist lobby.
Well, one can draw one’s own conclusions.
Not much to say about Victoria Atkins. A barrister by training, and married to a multi-millionaire who is a director of numerous large companies, including British Sugar.
I cannot see any of the above appealing to the British voters.
The only Conservative Party MP for whom I would have any time at all would be David Davis [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Davis_(British_politician)], who at least has proven that he has principle, respect for civil rights and, also, courage. He, however, is now 75, and may not want to lead that rabble anyway.

GE 2024
Something pretty big is missing from Labour's historic landslide: voters. Keir Starmer is set to win 64 per cent of the seats but on only 33.8 per cent of the votes, the smallest vote share of any modern PM https://t.co/kD6RBa8VaR
Not only that, but Starmer-Labour’s vote-share of 33.8% was, of course, 33.8% of those that bothered to vote. Turnout was only 60%, so Starmer-Labour’s share of the entire eligible electorate was only 20.28%. That’s before you even take into account those too young to vote.
So active support for Starmer-Labour is, at best, little more than 20%, one in five of the eligible electorate. Even then, one has to consider that —as I have blogged since a long time prior to the General Election— the main motivation for all voters, except the quite small minority that actually voted Conservative, was to get rid of the Conservative government and, if possible, party, not to install a Starmer-Labour government.
It is quite likely that only about 10%-15% of the population really support Starmer-Labour.
Of course, it is worse for the Conservative Party. On the above bases and premises, real support for the Conservatives, in the country as a whole, is somewhere between 5% and 14%. Much worse than their headline 23.7% vote-share.
Nearly 60% of voters, of the 60% who voted, voted for one of the three main System parties, but if you factor in the non-voting eligible voters, that means that a minority (well below 40%) of all eligible voters voted for a System party . Then factor in younger people unable to vote, and the true “support” figure for the System, let alone the Starmer-Labour part of it, reduces to somewhere abound 20% (with Labour having maybe 15%, as already noted).

These are valid questions. But we could ask this of the entire cabinet? Literally none of them have experience of my distinction outside of playing politics. Look at the business Secretary, he has literally never owned or even worked in a business? What knowledge can he possibly bring to the role? These are important questions, that can’t simply be brushed aside with a few slurs.“
Interesting.
Look at thick-as-two-short-planks David Lammy, now Foreign Secretary.
Admittedly, recent years have seen quite a few deadhead appointees to Cabinet anyway (including, as Foreign Secretary, Liz Truss and “Boris”-idiot), but look at this!
The only way this undeserved huge-majority Starmer-Labour government will not crash and burn within 1-2 years will be if it can stop mass immigration into the UK (I doubt that it will even try), and stop the cross-Channel “small boats” migration invasion (Starmer will probably simply set up “processing centres” in France, then rubberstamp 95% of applicants).
Starmer will also have to reconcile the “need” (caused mainly by mass immigration) to build huge numbers of new and really affordable houses and flats, meaning council or other social housing, and at the same time not trash the —mainly— English countryside, including Green Belt land.
Starmer-Labour will probably not have the money to build millions of dwelling units, so will turn to private housebuilding carpetbaggers, and so will probably let them loose on what should be protected countryside. Starmer will all but demolish planning controls answerable to local people.
I can see even worse bullying of the sick, disabled, and unemployed. Look at Rachel Reeves and Liz Kendall. Do you really see any compassion (or any particularly high intellect, or any willingness to think outside the box) there? I don’t.
Looks also as if the UK will continue to throw support, including money and weapons, to both “Ukraine” (the Kiev regime) and Israel.
I see no higher (indeed, lower) living standards in prospect. Mass immigration inevitably means lower pay (whatever some Twitter-twits may think), and also higher taxes (because most of the immigrants are, at best, parasitic overall, and many are prolifically criminal as well).
The fabric of society will continue to fray, both by reason of the importation of about a million non-Europeans each year and because of cultural and administrative factors.
In short, this new pseudo-landslide government will almost certainly fail the British people, and fail quickly. After the people wake up to that, anything is possible.

Oh, right…let’s have a “bas-class” Mauritian Indian and pro-Israel puppet as “Conservative” leader and, later, potential (will never happen, though) Prime Minister…
Nigel Farage’s plan to be prime minister in five years’ time may seem far-fetched, but it would take fewer than 340,000 voters to switch to Reform UK for the party to overtake the Tories and become the official opposition, a Telegraph analysis shows
I always said that the reason why British people, most of them, have not turned to social nationalism over my lifetime [b.1956] is because not enough of them were hurting enough. Not enough of them hurting enough and not enough of them knowing where to place the blame and, also, not enough of them knowing where to place their trust.
The situation at present, as I see it, is that living standards are now falling (and have been for some time), that social and civic standards are in most respects at an all-time low, and still sliding, and that the background and intellectual level of MPs is at an all-time low, as is public trust in, and respect for, them.
All those above factors are getting worse, more pronounced. At the same time (and connected to the above), mass immigration is totally out of control. Not just the cross-Channel “illegals”, but the “legals” coming in on student visas, work visas, “family and friends” visas, “fiancee” visas, tourist visas (the “tourists” then disappearing or claiming asylum) and the rest. A million a year, give or take.
That whole situation has been the background for the loss of confidence in the Conservative Party, and is also the reason why Starmer-Labour is also actually quite unpopular, despite its “landslide by default”.
The happy cheers from TV studios and from System journalists such as John Rentoul are not echoed by the British people.
The situation on the ground is why Reform UK, despite its semi-“libertarian” bias, and its often underwhelming candidates, has managed to get 5 MPs and (arguably as important) over 4 million votes.
When Starmer-Labour falters, in 2025 or 2026, the British people may be ready for a much more radical movement of the “Overton Window”, policies well beyond those of Farage’s Reform UK.

So, naturally, Starmer has given her a peerage and a ministerial job.

Now we see how Starmer intends to run his “elected” dictatorship. As a dictatorship. A Zionist-influenced or controlled tyranny. We are only on day 2 so far…
Jacqui Smith. Expenses cheat and freeloader, but that’s OK because she has the imprimatur from Israel…
It’s a truly precious thing to live in a country where people decide who should serve in government and when you should go. And that those in positions of power accept that with grace.
…and then, after those who stole and grifted for years get chucked out in elections, those same cheats and freeloaders (such as Jacqui Smith) get invited back into government, given a peerage (no need for silly elections, oh no…), and a ministerial portfolio! How wonderful “democracy” is!

[Tunis in the rain. I last trod that pavement about 39 years ago.]
The forces of the Kiev regime may be able to launch missile attacks such as that on a Crimean port overnight, but the bigger picture is that the Kiev regime’s summer counter-offensive got nowhere and achieved nothing, that the Kiev-regime forces are rapidly running out of ammunition despite huge shipments from USA, UK etc, and that the Kiev regime is now very short of recruits, having to employ ever-more persistent press-gangs; Kiev is now asking EU states to repatriate Ukrainians living in the EU, so that the repatriated people can be put straight into uniform.
Russia is upgrading its heavy weaponry, building ever-more tanks, planes, and missiles. The summer of 2024 may see a general Russian advance which will overwhelm the ragged and exhausted Kiev-regime defences in Ukraine east of the Dnieper.
Even if that does not happen, the Kiev-regime forces cannot themselves advance. They have not the arms, ammunition, or men with which to do that. Their best possibility is to hold the line where it is.
The transnational conspiracy has had its support for the Zelensky regime sidetracked by the Gaza conflict; that is especially true of the USA. Zelensky and his cabal may be able to ban opposition parties, to arrest those opposed to war with Russia, to ban trade unions, and to refuse to hold elections, but what the Zelensky group cannot to is magic into existence more soldiers, more arms, and more ammunition.
The foreign mercenaries and other volunteers have mostly gone home now, those not captured or killed. The Kiev regime now seems to be paying mercenaries from countries with low living standards, such as Peru. Their pay is low. Still, you get what you pay for, quite often.
I doubt that many “contract soldiers”, even from regions such as South America, will now be applying to become casualty statistics in the Kiev regime’s failing war.
My assessment is that Russia is biding its time. That may mean no 2024 offensive (though, to the contrary, one may be launched in order to demoralize the all-important backers and “generous” suppliers of the Kiev regime in the EU and North America).
In the USA, the Presidential election may bring to power a President hostile to more support for the Zelensky regime. Trump is only the main possibility; there are others. Likewise in the EU. “Populist” parties are in the ascendant. Most do not want to funnel endless taxpayer funding to the ungrateful and failing Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev.
The conflict in the Palestine/Israel region, which has now spread southward to the Red Sea, is already impacting EU trade lines.
Economically, Russia is thriving, overall. While the West generally, and especially the EU, is faltering economically, Russia is doing fairly well. As I predicted 18+ months ago, the sanctions imposed have forced Russia to both diversify and to find other suppliers of food and raw materials. Sanctions rarely have huge, certainly not decisive effect anyway. I myself saw that when, aged 20, I was in Rhodesia (in 1977).
Ukraine (Kiev regime) is, by contrast, not thriving; it only keeps going by reason of the money and other support and aid supplied from outside. Its agriculture is finding export difficult, and some markets closed or restricted. The industrial sector is running at a low level. Electricity supplies are interrupted, and gas supplies more so.
In the long run, what will sink Ukraine as a state (failed state) is the very low birth-rate, combined with the huge numbers of Ukrainians now living in a number of EU states and elsewhere. In the short-term, the ranks of the army are not being replaced.
Russia will win (in Eastern Ukraine), and the NWO will retreat.

Looking at the bigger picture, this is but one of the terrible consequences of decolonization in Africa (etc) from the 1950s through to the 1970s. That process was itself a consequence of the disaster of WW2 and the even more disastrous defeat of the German Reich.
Who now —save for the ignorant and/or brainwashed— can doubt that the post-WW2 ending of European rule over Africa has resulted in war, civil wars, degradation of the environment, and misery for the Africans themselves, as well as irreparable loss of wildlife and tree cover?

Not a particularly original or surprising thought (or two), but never mind…
I happened to see, a day or two ago, a Celebrity Chase quiz show, I think first shown several years ago. Nadine Dorries.
Hard to understand why Nadine Dorries was on a quiz show, except for the fact that, though any money won goes to a chosen charity, the contestants are paid (how much, I do not know; I presume somewhere around £1,000).
I cannot now recall the exact questions asked of Nadine Dorries, but she knew very few of the answers, and was quickly knocked out. Her ignorance was, even for a cynic such as myself, almost beyond belief.
The above experience once more led to thoughts of how MPs now really are the bottom of the barrel. Compare them to the better type of MP from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s. Jo Grimond, the one-time Liberal leader, for example. A very erudite man who had also served in WW2 as an officer, and been a barrister. His memoirs are well worth reading, incidentally. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Grimond.
Not that I agree with all of his views, and the same would be even more true of Denis Healey [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denis_Healey], but these people had character, depth, real erudition, and were not simply self-serving careerists.
Compare them to (ex-MP) Nadine Dorries, to “Boris” Johnson, to Corbyn, to Keir Starmer, to Jo Swinson (a later LibDem leader of sorts), to Liz Truss, to Sunak, Matt Hancock etc… Among many many others.
Whatever method is chosen for selecting or electing MPs, Cabinet and other ministers etc, is of secondary importance. Prime importance must be given to the quality of those selected. In darker moments, I tend to think that the fall in overall quality of MPs just reflects the decline and/or degeneration of the society from which they have emerged.
Incidentally, on that Celebrity Chase show, Nadine Dorries claimed that she was the only MP not claiming expenses (in fact, she just meant certain “personal” expenses). Also, that she was campaigning to end MP expenses! The presenter was too polite (or short of time) to retort that she had already been caught actually cheating on her expenses several times, and had only just escaped prosecution: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadine_Dorries#Expenses_claims.
Zionism and Jews in the UK
Look at the tweet below, from the malicious Jew-Zionist cabal known as “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”]:
To those gentilesplaining that “anti-Zionism is not antisemitism”, our representative polling of British Jews has found that only 6% are not Zionists, and 97% feel personally connected to events unfolding in Israel.
Yet we constantly see or hear, from Jew-Zionist “activists” (troublemakers), that Jews in the UK have nothing to do with Israel or what Israel is now doing to the people of Gaza…
We also see or hear that “criticism of Israel is legitimate, but any criticism of Jews is ‘antisemitic’ and (they claim) not legitimate“.
The “CAA’s” own survey indicates that at least 80% of Jews in the UK are content to accept the label “Zionist”, and that no less than 88% of them feel “personally connected” to whatever is happening in Israel.
Also, note the derogatory term “gentilesplaining“: in other words, non-Jews cannot say anything about Jews (but Jews can —and do— say the most insulting things about British and other European cultures and peoples).

Late thought about Ukraine
UK television news full of the Kiev-regime attack on the Russian ship, and saying that Russia is losing the battle in the Black Sea. Well, the Kiev regime no longer has a navy at all.
Naturally, the loss of a large ship, even a supply ship, is very bad but, the very same day, Russian forces took what is left of the city of Mariinka in the Donbass. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-67820916.
That is where the war is happening, on the ground in Eastern Ukraine. Russia is slowly winning there.
As for the attack on the ship, already the biased commentators on Sky News etc are heralding the dawn of a Kiev-regime strategic advantage in the Black Sea which does not exist.
In the final analysis, and if push came to shove, Russia could totally flatten Kiev and all other cities of Ukraine, if the leadership were so to decide. What is stopping that is firstly, that Moscow and Kiev were the centrepieces of Russian life for many centuries and, secondly, the fact that Russia is slowly winning this war.
Russia, though, is still one of the two main nuclear powers, and also has awesome conventional destructive capability. In extremis, that power could be unleashed. Kiev should be talking to Moscow about redrawing borders.
“Bill Gates‘ recent buying of American farmland is doing more for his bank account than the planet, a new book claims.“
[a varied picture, quite modest in part, but Gates is only one such buyer]
“Penned by bestselling journalist Seamus Bruner, the work also asserts the billionaire’s investments in fertilizers and plant-based meats are doing little to slow carbon emissions as he claims, and come at the expense of everyday Americans.
A section of the just-released book titled Controligarchs, that hones in on this so-called ‘war on farmers’ elaborates on these claims.
There, Bruner writes how figures like Gates are monopolizing the nation’s food supply with their purchases, paving the way for an at least partial takeover over the country’s food system as families like the Rockefellers have done in the past.
The book claims to reveal how billionaires like Gates, Jeff Bezos, George Soros, and Mark Zuckerberg plan to control every aspect of daily life.
Bruner’s book – which boasts the tagline ‘exposing the billionaire class, their secret deals and the globalist plot to dominate your life – was released Tuesday, and is available for purchase both in stores and online.”
[Daily Mail]
I was writing on Twitter/X about the buying-up of farmland (not just in the USA; also in the UK, New Zealand etc) a decade ago.
Very sinister.
The thing is, though, that as far as the named individuals are concerned, one or two, or three, ordinary Americans, or a small group, could quite quickly call a halt to the said conspiracy. Need I say more?
