Saw a few minutes of some TV propaganda piece featuring Starmer-stein and Rachel Reeves. She is so much of a robot that she puts previous political robots, such as “the Maybot” (Theresa May) into the shade. Rachel Reeves strikes me as a human tick-box, most of the time. There seems to be nothing in between a robotic impression and a meltdown impression, as seen in the Commons yesterday.
It’s almost ghoulish watching. That Labour are rallying around Reeves because she is a woman and had become visibly upset during PMQs is truly depressing. She holds the 2nd highest office in the Country for goodness sake.

Goodwin seems to have been “on a journey”, ideologically. Perhaps that journey has not yet arrived at its final destination.
As on previous occasions, a slightly silly title and subtitle, but the video itself still fairly interesting.
Many years ago, I wanted to visit Sukhumi, a small resort in Abkhazia, north of Adzharia , which resort was developed under 19thC Tsarist rule, but unfortunately there was considerable civil war damage after the collapse of the Soviet Union; at any rate, I never did go there; neither have I ever been to Batumi, an autonomous part of Georgia.
According to Electoral Calculus, that translates into a Commons with 363 Reform UK MPs, Labour 129, LibDems 69, SNP 29, and Cons 25 (Greens 7, Plaid Cymru 5 etc).
Cons once again in notional 5th place. Near-terminal.
I imagine that, in that situation, Reform could offer most of the remaining Con MPs a home, were they willing to defect. On the other hand, why would Reform even bother, already having a fairly large majority on those polling figures?

It is now probably only a matter of time before the Russian side can achieve a significant breakthrough, and then roll over the whole of Ukraine east of the Dnieper, leaving open the questions of Kiev and Odessa (which should be open cities, probably), and allowing the Ukrainians to maintain a non-belligerent rump state centred on, presumably, Lvov.
“Several people were injured after a man wielding an axe attacked passengers on a busy train in Germany today.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was said to have lashed out at travellers on board the ICE 91 train to Vienna this afternoon at around 1:55pm local time.
The man, believed to be Syrian according to German newspaper Bild’s sources, was alleged to have boarded with an axe and a hammer, before one brazen passenger disarmed him of one of the weapons and fought back.”
I have only ever met one person who has been to Vorkuta, and his was an involuntary visit that lasted for many years; a Pole sent there as a young man, I think in or about 1940, along with many others. I believe that he somehow survived a decade there, and was eventually repatriated to his family in Bielsko-Biala, south-west Poland. Maybe about 65 when I met him and his family in 1988, he was a bit of a tough guy, and he must indeed have been tough, in more youthful days, to survive for 10 years as a prisoner and slave-labourer in Vorkuta.
Looking at that film (above), I am again struck by the harshness and brutality that humans can inflict on each other, but also by the incredible resilience and ability to create that humans have.
Vorkuta, like other cities in inhospitable areas and harsh climates (Magadan, Norilsk etc) which were wholly a product of the Stalinist period of the Soviet system (Vorkuta did not exist even as a hamlet until the 1930s), had at one time (1960s, 1970s, 1980s) a real city life, with a railway station, buses, an airport, a city theatre, hospitals, cinemas, sports centres, even a symphony orchestra; also, some fairly impressive-looking official buildings.
[Mining College, Vorkuta, northern Russia, built in the late 1940s or early 1950s); date of photo uncertain, possibly 1990s]
[street in central Vorkuta (date uncertain: possibly 1980s, possibly 1990s)]
[Vorkuta: the now-seemingly-abandoned and ruined Palace of Culture at Severny, an offshoot of Vorkuta. A local arts and culture centre, complete with dilapidated statue of Lenin in front; building probably dating from the 1950s, but photograph dating from 2020]
Vorkuta had, at one time, 115,000 inhabitants. The real population is now thought to be well below 50,000, perhaps as low as 30,000.
My point is that civilization is not a simple continuum. Rudolf Steiner, Valentin Tomberg etc have described human evolution as a staggered spiral. There can be breaks in the spiral. Civilizations or cultures arise, but also decay and disappear. Amazing places can be created and built out of “nothing”, but those same places can fall to pieces and disappear even from memory and/or from recorded history.
The beautiful city of St. Petersburg was created from swamp and forest by the vision, in origo, of one man, Peter the Great, and still exists, now with millions of inhabitants (it is commonly said to be the 4th or even 3rd-largest city in Europe, depending on whether Istanbul is accepted as European). On the other hand, famous Sparta left almost nothing behind it but memories become history. Troy was, for many centuries until its site was rediscovered in the 19thC, thought to be not even legendary but mythical. New York City was created from “nothing”, from the 17thC onward, and still exists, yet the huge cities which once existed in Mexico and Central America and elsewhere have either disappeared or been supplanted (as at Mexico City) by very different successors.
Vorkuta was built on brutality and suffering, but then so was Petersburg…
The world, particularly Europe but also the Middle East, North America, Russia, stands in peril from massive and probably nuclear war. The cities of the West and Centre of Europe also stand in peril from internal strife caused mainly by migration invasion by backward hordes from other parts of the world. Our present overall culture and civilization may not survive the 21st Century, not in their current forms.
We should all be thinking about these matters and about how to salvage as much as possible of our present advanced culture and civilization, should that become necessary.

No, no, it’s much worse than that.
It’s actually quite efficient: one tier for approved demographics, and a guillotine for the rest of us.

These latest plans for disabled benefits cuts are divisive and sinister. Creating a two-tier system where younger disabled people and those who become disabled in the future will be disadvantaged and denied access to work and education, is morally wrong. https://t.co/3NcCvJR0qI
Letting existing sick and disabled people continue to receive help, but cutting off help (income) from similar people in the near future, is “morally wrong“, in my view. That is almost unarguable, surely?

[“The underlying discontent among rebellious and even loyal Labour MPs stems from what many would say is a pathetically late discovery: that what’s driving so much government policy is Rachel Reeves’s fiscal rules and the absolute power of the Office for Budget Responsibility in determining whether she is breaching those rules or not. Any illusion that this isn’t the single most important driver of government decision-making was shattered today by the revealed contradiction between its establishment of a supposedly fundamental review led by disabilities minister Stephen Timms to shape new criteria for awarding Personal Independence Payments, while nonetheless sticking with the contradictory stipulation that from November next year no one will be eligible for PIP if they don’t score four points on one of PIP’s existing criteria. It is absurd and illogical to characterise Timms’s review as the face of humane reform while simultaneously saying that this new four-point rule based on existing criteria will willy-nilly come into effect next year. So what’s really going on? The work and pensions secretary’s unspoken reason for sticking to the four-point reform is that without it, and under the OBR-assessed fiscal rules, Reeves would have to fill a £5bn hole in her finances in the autumn’s budget, and not the £2.5bn hole created by Kendall’s partial welfare-reform climb down. That is a big difference when it comes to any taxes Reeves may have to raise or any spending she may have to cut. So a growing number of Labour MPs see this subservience to the OBR and the fiscal rules as just the stupidest motivation for making today’s decisions that affect the lives of the most fragile of UK citizens – decisions that will, on the government’s own calculations, shift 150,000 vulnerable people into poverty. These MPs were bitten once by the OBR dog when Reeves chose to means-test the winter fuel allowance as proof of her fealty to the OBR’s jurisdiction over her own fiscal rules. With the disability reforms, many of them now feel twice shy. They don’t ask why a Labour government respects the OBR, especially after the Truss/Kwarteng fiscal debacle caused by their disrespect for the OBR. But they do question why the Chancellor and Treasury endow the OBR with an almost mystical ability to determine which policies are sensible and why Reeves has seemingly abdicated responsibility for trying to sell the government’s initiatives to the country’s creditors independently of the OBR and fiscal rules straitjacket. So whatever the outcome of the vote tomorrow on the welfare reforms, Reeves and Starmer are now under enormous pressure – probably irresistible pressure – to lose their OBR religion.“]
That bastard Timms again…
I think that people are generally awakening to the fact(s) that this is only a Labour government in terms of label. Labour-label. In reality, a Labour Friends of Israel government (misgovernment).
“Councils across England and Wales have said they are keen to help accommodate asylum seekers as the government attempts to move as many as possible out of hotels, in part to try to ease community tensions.
The Local Government Association, which represents councils in England and Wales, said that while it had not been briefed about a possible shift away from the current model, councils would be keen to help if it happened.
“Councils have a proud history of supporting new arrivals across the current range of asylum and resettlement programmes,” said Louise Gittins, a councillor and the chair of the LGA.“
[Guardian]
So there it is. If you cannot get a lease of a local authority council property, or indeed a fairly-priced private lease or rental, you know why— migration-invasion.
Look at the words of that Louise Gittins idiot, i.e. that the way to “ease community tensions” (meaning fool the English/British into believing that they are not being swamped) is to, in effect, prioritize invaders over British or, at very least, to allow them to have social housing on the same basis as those who live here, those whose ancestors lived here, and who pay —through the nose— into the system…

Electoral Calculus has the result of that (with Greens at a notional 8%) as: Labour 230 seats, Cons 197, Reform 93, LibDem 70, Greens 6.
Hung Parliament. Labour, even with LibDem and Green support, could only form a minority government (even in full coalition, only 306 seats, about 16 short of a majority).
Early days, though. If Reform UK could get to 26% (and all other unchanged), the result would be: Lab 190, Reform UK 172 (official Opposition), Cons 160, LibDems 69, Greens 6. In that scenario, Labour, 136 short of a majority, could only govern on the say-so of either Reform UK or the Conservative Party. In fact, in such a scenario, a Reform UK-Conservative Party coalition or agreement would be far more likely, producing a joint majority of about 10 seats.
Sooner or later, real social nationalism must break through. When people have suffered even more.

When I first drove in England, aged about 43, I had never had to parallel park for a driving test, and drove as long as I could on my foreign licence.
In the end, because the DVLA would not allow me to simply swap my licence for a UK one, I had to accept that I would have to get a UK licence and also take the UK driving test, which however I passed without difficulty, and perhaps unsurprisingly, having driven extensively both in the UK and overseas (including UK to Turkey and back, a trip more difficult in 2001 than it would be now, with the new motorways that now exist, extended Schengen Zone etc).
The one difficult aspect was the parallel parking, but I employed a driving instructor for 2 brief afternoon sessions, and he taught me how to parallel park to a higher standard than I already knew.

I was never a sparkling wine drinker, but Sekt is as good as anything else except the best Champagne. Also, on a partly-personal point, not many people know that, when Ambassador in London, Ribbentrop, apart from his residence in the German Embassy (then at Carlton House Terrace near The Mall), kept a private house in Barnes (the area the other side of Hammersmith Bridge; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnes,_London).
The modestly spacious detached house, with gardens, and situated in a side-road, was later owned by a lady with whom I was slightly acquainted (the friend of a friend). I visited it once, perhaps twice. She later sold it (mid/late 1980s) to a Jew, who knocked it down and built a small block of two or three-storey flats on the site.
Incidentally, I was just looking at Wikipedia; nothing at all in it about Ribbentrop’s residence in Barnes. “Unknown history”, it seems, though of course MI5’s files would have the details, as far as the 1930s are concerned.

I think that that may be part of it. Also, the sinister conspirators trying to implement the Coudenhove-Kalergi agenda have made a determined effort to flood the British countryside with non-whites, as witness the National Trust and similar organizations.
The British countryside is one of the few redoubts of white British people, surrounded by urban and suburban non-white swamps. Farmers in the UK are almost entirely a white British community. This makes them a target.
I myself have criticisms of farmers in some respects, but that does not mean that I want them “replaced” by migrant-invaders and/or corporations interested only in the bottom line.
…and the Bar, the BBC, academia, and almost everywhere else. The biggest sharks in that anti-free-speech pool are those of the Jew-Zionist/Israel lobby, by the way.

What is there to say? Instead of being [REDACTED] as he well deserves, he is quite likely going to get “compensation” out of British taxpayers’ money.
Can this country’s System parties do anything right?
Few today will be aware that, when Adams headed both Sinn Fein and the IRA in Belfast, he was getting social security payments from the equivalent of the present DWP. Petty, maybe, but it does show how “careful” the British governments of the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s were in dealing with these people.
The Northern Ireland situation was handled, mainly, in the way the British state handled, for example, the Rhodesia/Zimbabwe situation. Gather as much intelligence as possible. Don’t be too harsh or extreme. Try to get the parties to come to agreement. Manage the situation.
That may sound all very reasonable, but it does not work when you are dealing with the likes of Mugabe or Adams. Fact. It leads to poor resulting conditions.
Northern Ireland stopped actually fighting 25 years or so ago mainly because the IRA had run out of steam, the civilian population wanted an end to it all, and the British Government was willing to throw huge amounts of money at the province in terms of public sector jobs, social welfare, social housing etc, and also willing to let the convicted fighters/terrorists/whatever out of prison. The Good Friday Agreement. “Peace” at a price.
The British Government was also willing to allow, in effect, the IRA into government. Martin McGuinness, Gerry Adams etc.
Oh, well. Northern Ireland is a sideshow anyway, but it is irritating.
I disagree with Lucas’s analysis which says that the fall of the Syrian government weakens Russia. It weakens Russia in the Middle East, yes— but in the big scheme of things, that makes no difference.
Back to basics. When Stalin was Soviet leader, the Soviet Union had a very small navy, and one which was mainly confined to seas around the Soviet coastline. For Stalin, the geopolitical reality was that the Soviet Union’s power rested on its huge land-based armed forces, and on its huge geographical size, as well as a large population.
With the coming of the atomic age, Stalin’s scientists and spies ensured that the Soviet Union acquired the weapons at first possessed by only the USA and then the UK. At that time, all Soviet atomic and nuclear weapons were land-based, i.e. launched from aircraft themselves based in the Soviet Union and, in a few cases, satellite states.
Khrushchev, in his memoirs, disparages the senior naval officers pushing for a global Soviet naval presence. After Khrushchev’s fall from power, his successors did the opposite, creating a massive navy, which included ships and submarines capable of launching missiles including, eventually, nuclear ones.
That post-1960s global-profile strategy included supporting various factions in Africa, Asia, Latin America; that included the Middle East. Superpower rivalry.
A clear cost-benefit analysis, however, shows that, in the present, post-Soviet era, Russia actually does not need bases in Syria or elsewhere. Its strength lies, as before, in its geographic size, its still-large population and, crucially, its strategic rocket forces. All of those still exist. Moreover, the Russian strategic rocket forces are, it seems, at least as powerful, and as awesome, as those of NATO (i.e. USA); perhaps more so.
If Russia is forced by events to take a smaller part in the events of the Middle East, then all to the good. It can concentrate its forces and attention on the key areas of Russia itself, Ukraine and other areas of the “near-abroad”, and on advancing its most important forces, the strategic rocket and other nuclear forces.
The main thing now is to defeat the Kiev regime, and to install in Ukraine, at least in Eastern Ukraine, along the Black Sea coast, and in Kiev, either direct Russian rule or a pro-Russia Ukrainian government. It may be thought expedient, and historically consonant, to allow an independent Ukrainian government in Western Ukraine, and based on Lvov.
In respect of Central and Western Europe, Russia merely needs to obtain a modus vivendi with those states by encouraging the election or other installation of governments not hostile to Russia. Such governments need not be “pro-Russian”, or under the control of Russia; they need only be independent of the USA and, of course, free from the Jew-Zionist influence now so pervasive throughout the West.
Putin and his supporters and/or successors should be focussing on their nuclear arsenal, together with active measures aimed at helping political parties and individuals in Western and Central Europe that want a civilized rapprochement with the Russian state and people.

Naturally, I expected the Labour Friends of Israel government led by “Tel Aviv Keith” to be hopeless and rubbish, but not so obviously so and so quickly.
Talking point
“Tel Aviv Keith” Starmer, former bureaucrat-lawyer; Rachel Reeves, fake “economist” and one-time bank office bod; David Lammy, thick-as-two-short-planks “diversity hire”; Yvette Cooper, expenses cheat fraudster and “refugees welcome” hypocrite. The rest as well…
Do you really expect that lot to be anything other than rubbish?
Now it seems that Rachel Reeves, who could not even control her own personal (and interest-free) House of Commons credit card, is apparently going to “scrutinize every penny” of public spending. i.e. do spending cuts.
Ecce “democracy”— 14 years of misguided “austerity”, so the “Conservatives” are eventually voted out, and in are voted (at least by 4 out of every 20 eligible voters) fake “Labour”. First thing they do (apart from arrest protesters and online commentators)? Impose more spending cuts…
Oh well, “worse is better“, as Lenin said. Maybe there will be a “straw breaks camel’s back” moment. Starmer, Reeves etc will then, I hope, get what’s coming to them.
Well, political parties need funding. That Nick Candy person certainly has money, and knows others with money. Still, his interest in UK politics has been anything but narrow, to date:
“...The Times in March 2021…named Nick as the leader of fundraising for Shaun Bailey’s London mayoral campaign.[78] In June 2020, The Guardian also reported that Candy had donated £100,000 to the Conservative Party in March 2020.[79] In February 2024, Nick was reported by the The Independent to have expressed support for Keir Starmer‘s Labour Party.[80]“
Controlled opposition, of course. Both main System parties are fading (finally) in public estimation, so to prevent something social-national emerging, up pops Reform UK— pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby, anti-Welfare State, not (very) “racist” etc…
Still, the Overton Window is moving.

Actually Wilson is wrong in one respect. That is not “Mark Lewis Lawyer”, as his Twitter account used to be called; that is Lewis as he was about 12 years ago. He is now physically and mentally in a very poor condition, can scarcely walk, and his faculties are not what they may have been a decade or more ago.
Lewis and his fellow Zionist Jews in at least two pro-Israel organizations have been making false and malicious accusations against me for a decade now. I have responded with the truth, on Twitter (until “they” had me expelled in 2018), and on the blog (since late 2016).
The above video clip shows Lewis and his wife, Mandy Blumenthal, after their attempted political stunt (and scam) at the Edinburgh Fringe, in August 2024, failed risibly.
As for the latest information said to be in the hands of James Wilson ending Lewis’s career, that career is already effectively at an end. Many would say that (such as it was) it ended a long time ago.
When Lewis was fined and censured by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in 2018, his own Counsel asked the panel to be lenient in terms of fining him because his sole assets were his clothes, a private pension worth £70 a week, and a mobility scooter! Even his car, at the time (before his domicile changed from the UK to Israel), was provided to him free of charge by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), under its Motability scheme.
Actually, Lewis’s Counsel may have (I presume, inadvertently) misled that Tribunal, inasmuch as Lewis had, or so he once claimed, a flat in Eilat, Israel.
Lewis and the pack of Zionist Jews connected with him (eg those in the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”) have never sued me for anything I have written about them. They have preferred to make malicious and false complaints about me to the police etc.
Having said that, it is true that my present impecuniosity would make me a pretty poor target for any civil suit; I have even fewer assets than Lewis, if you include his flat in Israel which he seems to have concealed from the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.
Even if they were to sue me and even if they were to succeed at trial (and they have not done so at any time in the past 12 years), their victory would be very very expensive for them. Hundreds of thousands of pounds expensive.
“My allegation is not that Lewis’ clients are vexatious, but that the evidence I have suggests he cannot be trusted not to attempt to mislead the court. If I am right, what does this mean for all the other cases in which Lewis has acted? What if there have been other attempts to mislead the court?“
Lewis has misled the Court and his own clients several, perhaps numerous, times, but so far has got away with it, at least to the extent of not having been struck off the solicitors’ roll. Part of his immunity from punishment has been the protective shield around him, consisting of other Jews, in the Press and other msm, not reporting negative things about Lewis, and indeed puffing him to a ridiculous extent, especially years ago.

I could suggest something about certain parts of London (mostly North and North-West), but in view of the fact that free speech in the UK is all but dead (by reason of the activities of “a certain tribe”), I think that, today at least, I prefer to keep my views to myself.
Russia only wants Eastern Ukraine (Ukraine east of the Dnieper river) and the coastline across to and including Odessa.
Historically, what is now Western Ukraine (based on Lvov) has made several different rulerships, including both Russia and Austria-Hungary.
While Putin would probably prefer to take all of Ukraine, I think that he would accept a peace agreement with a Lvov-based rump Ukraine willing to be neutral in future. That used to be called, from 1945 to 2023, “Finlandization”, and worked quite well for everyone until, quite recently, the Finnish government went mad and joined NATO.
That is a good thing. America is at its best when it is isolationist.
October Revolution
7 November (in the Gregorian calendar) is the day on which, in the Soviet Union, was set aside to commemorate the Bolshevik seizure of power in October 1917 (old-style, Julian calendar).
There were always parades in Moscow. I recall watching Soviet TV news in the old Channel 4 newsroom (then in the old ITN building in Wells Street, near Oxford Street) as a kind of guest, in 1984.
40 years ago, almost half a lifetime.
I recall it mainly because of the excellent picture quality on the satellite link; also because I had come directly from a tough afternoon taekwando session taught by a candidate-competitor black-belt destined for the 1988 Seoul Olympics (I don’t know whether he eventually went, though).
It was interesting to see people normally seen by me only on TV broadcasts. Peter Sissons, for one [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Sissons]. I remember how surprised I was that he seemed rather fat when encountered in person.
When the Bolsheviks seized power from the Kerensky government in 1917, a tide of anger and unrest poured across, first Russia, then the rest of the world.
The history of the 20th Century was, to a large extent, the outcome of the fight against, or for Sovietism. The rise of National Socialism was also, to a large extent, the result of Bolshevism and the struggle to resist it. An Abwehr or “parrying”.
Even after the events of the Second World War, the subsequent “peace” revolved around the need in the West to “parry” Sovietism— the Yalta and other agreements, the Cold War, the “Finlandization” not only of Finland itself but also of Austria and Yugoslavia. The taking out of Central Europe, and the reduction of Europe into East and West.
Of course, Sovietism itself changed too, internally: Bolshevism and Leninism became Stalinism (with Trotskyist offshoots overseas), then post-Stalinist Sovietism under Khrushchev and his successors.
International revolution against finance-capitalist reaction became big-power and then superpower rivalry.
By the time I watched that 1984 TV news broadcast, the Cold War was still going strong, superficially, but the Soviet Union had only 5 years left. (Officially, the Soviet Union lasted until 1991, but it was dead by late 1989). It did not necessarily seem so at the time. The Dzerzhinsky Regiment (MVD troops) led that parade (the bit I saw), and the Soviet power still gave the impression of being fearsome. However, as a character notes in one of my favourite films, The Russia House, adaptation of a John le Carre novel, the Soviet knight was dying inside his armour.
Now we are in a rather different world. Still, after a 1989-2022 gap, the superpower rivalry is again there (if it ever went away), but this time as a conflation of a rump-Sovietism with a Great-Russian nationalism, bumping horns against an expansionist NATO led and ruled over by a USA which is, in effect, NWO/ZOG (New World Order/Zionist Occupation Government).
Where now? The front-lines of the conflict are in Ukraine (which the Western power wants to subsume into its sphere of influence) and, to a lesser extent, the Middle East.
Europe needs a new direction. So does Russia. The answer must be a Eurasian ethno-state, Europe joining loosely with Russia against the areas of the world which are comprised of peoples, in very broad terms, now the enemies of positive evolution.

Ecce “British” journalism today: a dim bimbo (I have no idea who she is) who has not even bothered to watch the video in question, and System scribbler and talking head Andrew Pierce, who seems (in the clip above) absolutely desperate not to have mentioned on the show the name or case of disgraced System “journalist” Huw Edwards. Is that the informal instruction that has been handed down? Pierce even says, until corrected, that Edwards did not break the law (Edwards recently pleaded guilty to having done exactly that!).

One major problem that England —and all of the UK— has is the prevalence of box-ticking senior police personnel, all signed up to the “woke”/”antiracism” agenda. Police careerists, often women, who have been on the right courses and to the right seminars, got the right bits of paper, attended such as the “Common Purpose” brainwashing (turning mediocre nobodies into fake and incompetent would-be “leaders”) etc.
The police in the UK need radical reform.
As to the harsh sentencing handed down to those protesters, were I one of those sentenced, I should be asking my solicitors whether there is any scope for appeal on sentence.

If the 10,000 North Koreans are properly armed and equipped, and then unleashed on the battlefield as a discrete battle-group, that battle-group will easily punch a hole in the Kiev-regime front-line. It could be a gamechanger for Putin.
If the experienced Kiev-regime troops sent into both the Kursk region and the Ukrainian region to the west of the border can be captured or killed, the Kiev regime will have to quickly transfer units to that sector of the overall front. That will make the existing Russian advances in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions ever harder to counter; already, the Russians advance steadily in those regions.

The Israelis are divided internally.

“If we don’t change our strategy of supporting Ukraine, the worst-case scenario of a mass exodus from Ukraine and the spread of the war to NATO countries will be much more likely. In this case, ten million refugees is a pretty bad assumption,” says the MP of the opposition Christian Democratic Party, Roderick Kiesewetter.
Since the conflict between Kiev and Moscow broke out almost two years ago, 1.1 million Ukrainians have fled to Germany, according to data from the German Ministry of the Interior. The influx of newcomers from other countries, including Syria, Afghanistan and African nations, is not abating.”
[Sprinter/Welt am Sonntag].
At least Ukrainians are European.
If that were to happen, Russia will be able to take Ukraine east of the Dnieper very easily. It might even be able to take all of Ukraine, though it would, arguende, be both kinder and more statesmanlike to take only Eastern Ukraine, the Kiev area, the Black Sea coastal zone (including Odessa), also of course retaining the areas already controlled by Russia and which are inhabited by Russian-speakers (Crimea, Donbass etc). Leave a rump Ukraine centred on Lvov as a Ukrainian state, or at least autonomous territory.
Ukraine, demographically, is already in collapse. 500,000 dead on the battlefield, millions fled to other states, and a birthrate insufficient to maintain the population numbers.

…the large-scale recapture of the land lost to Russia in 2022 looks less and less likely as the days shorten. Those who invested heavily in a summer offensive against Russia have so far been disappointed. And what then?
The USA is still (wisely) dead set against involving itself directly in the war, so what will break the stalemate? Does this just have to go on and on filling graveyards and doing severe economic damage to Ukraine and Europe? With what aim?
…I can sniff the wind as well as anyone, and when the mighty US magazine Foreign Affairs publishes a major article with the title Will The West Abandon Ukraine? (to which the answer, in my view, is ‘quite possibly’) I think something is going on.
I’ve never been able to grasp what Britain’s interest is in sustaining a costly and risky war in South-East Europe between two corrupt and ill-governed hunks of the old Soviet Empire. A lot of US Republicans, not just the ghastly Trump, are also doubtful about the point of it.
Then there are recent reports of growing friction between Ukraine and Poland‘s government. I’m surprised this has not happened before, given the fairly recent (80 years ago) violent history between the two neighbouring peoples, in an area where events 500 years ago can still stir up bitter enmities.
And there is the current scandal of alleged corruption in Ukrainian military recruiting offices. This is no shock to anyone, as you can barely breathe in Ukraine without encountering corruption. But the point is that it suggests people in quite large numbers are paying to avoid fighting.
At the same time a lot of men of military age, banned by law from leaving Ukraine at the moment, are being caught trying to slip across the frontier with Romania. Which suggests that quite a few are getting through, and that this is a major difficulty for a country which has suffered terrible military casualties.
Honestly, if this war had not been so widely portrayed in crude storybook terms as a super-simple fight between total good and total evil, which it isn’t, we might have reached this stage before. But better late than never.“
[Peter Hitchens in the Daily Mail]
I recall a discussion with some late middle-aged Poles in the snowy Polish winter of 1988; a week or two before Christmas. All three (a husband and wife, and the brother of that woman) had lived through the tumultuous events of the mid-20th Century in that part of the world. The brother had been captured with other Polish Army recruits, then deported by Soviet authorities to Vorkuta, where he spent several years but survived [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorkuta].
That family had originally lived in or near Lvov (now a major city in Ukraine) but had been displaced. They however were adamant that they were Poles, and never Ukrainians. They seemed rather hostile to Ukrainians, in fact. See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lviv#Interwar_period.
Since the Russian invasion of 2022, there has been a warmer Poland-Ukraine relation on the official level, but it cannot be said how long that will last; it may be fraying.

On the face of it, that sentence seems exceptionally lenient, albeit that there may be mitigating facts not given in the newspaper report. The defendant will be out in about 18 months.

Worth listening to, though for me it is clear that the Earth is reaching, perhaps has already reached “peak population” (especially as far as the non-European —i.e. non-white— populations are concerned).
One sees much discussion online as to what is “Marxism” or “Communism” (or “Socialism”), and as to whether the new emerging totalitarianism in the West is “Marxist” or not. Many (of varying viewpoints) question the equivalence, looking at what is aimed at, and what are the policies espoused.
In fact, much of that debate is too theoretical. When you look at things from a practical perspective, the similarities are far more apparent. Look at a few of those.
In the Soviet social system, an extension of the ideals of the French Revolution was preached: liberty, equality, fraternity. Needless to say, those ideals were more honoured in the breach than in the observance. Even before Stalin took full power, a whole system of special rations, special pay, special healthcare and (in reality) education began to be implemented for the favoured parts of the population, especially the Nomenklatura.
Those favoured lived very different lives compared to the rest, all delineated by reference to rank and favour. Spacious apartments instead of shared and/or cramped houses and flats, healthcare in special hospitals (the best being the so-called “Kremlin Clinic” in outer Moscow) rather than standard Soviet hospitals, and a graduated set of special food outlets (usually not even open to the general public), in which could be bought items rarely or never generally available (caviar, smoked salmon, imported foods, imported kitchen equipment), and so on.
At the higher levels, the nomenklatura travelled “soft class” rather than hard, could get internal air tickets when they were hard to get for the base population, and had cars for local and regional transport (even in the 1980s, a black person in South Africa had a greater chance of buying a car than a Soviet citizen).
At the very highest levels, this “class division” of travel reached staggering inequality. The top brass would travel by “private” rail car or aircraft. When Sakharov was told to relocate in order to help with the Soviet atom bomb and hydrogen bomb projects, he travelled in a rail car which had a bedroom for himself and his wife, a sitting room, a dining room, accommodation for guards and other staff, a staffed kitchen, and an observation deck. This railcar was tacked onto an ordinary train.
The disparity even extended to communications, the nomenklatura above a certain level communicating among themselves by means of a special system of reliable and secure telephones. This was the vertushka, or vertushki (there were several levels of service, all self-standing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertushka).
Now look at the rulers and beneficiaries of the Western system today. The lifestyle disparity between the favoured few and the rest came out all the more strongly during the “Covid” “scamdemic”/”panicdemic”.
At meetings of the G7 or G20 heads of government in 2020-2022, the top attendees went around unmasked, shaking hands, kissing the ladies who were governmental leaders or their wives. Meanwhile, right next to them, were the waiters, waitresses, bodyguards etc, all masked! Almost an insult, really, a finger put up to the sheep watching on TV or reading the newspapers.
Indeed, the same is true in terms of travel. Ordinary people were banned from travel, or allowed to travel only on sufferance and after complying with Kafka-esque conditions, but the wealthy few and the governmental leaders continued buzzing around on private jets, and in reality subject to few restrictions.
We see the hypocrisy even now. The Harry Formerly Known as Prince, with Meghan Mulatta, making several transcontinental journeys per month using large private jets, often in order to speak about how the travel of the bulk of the population must be restricted or banned.
Not just Harry and the Mulatta; look at, say, Bill Gates, Emma Thompson and the rest. All travelling on hugely polluting private jets, helicopters, superyachts etc and at the same time lecturing the rest of the population about how they must accept ever-declining living standards…
In fact, that wealthy and ultra-wealthy stratum already live lives very different from the main population. In the UK, for example. Private jets for overseas travel. Helicopters for intra-UK or short-distance European travel. If cars need be used, that would usually be for short-ish distances, and the vehicles will be those that insulate the occupants from the outside. Range-Rovers, Rolls-Royce etc.
Needless to say, the wealthy rarely if ever require the NHS. Private healthcare only. As for security, the police are only needed as a backup for those in staffed country houses or London penthouses etc. Private security, maybe even bodyguards.
One could continue, but you see the point. This is a matter of the exercise of power, as well as that of privilege. The discussion “socialism” v. “capitalism” is largely sterile.
Everywhere you look now, you see the masks coming off: “15-minute cities”, 20 mph speedlimits, ULEZ, “social credit” ideas, the banning of most cars (in the medium-term and even short-term), the threat of further faked biosecurity “health” measures such as the facemask nonsense, “lockdowns” etc like a Sword of Damocles waiting to fall.
Add to that the black-brown migration-invasion and the obvious implementation across Europe of the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.
The black-brown hordes coming to Europe and including the UK are almost all coming from relatively poor living conditions in their home countries. For them, it does not matter that the NHS is failing, that the roads are falling to pieces, that pay and State benefits are low, that the police forces scarcely work, that the justice system is disintegrating etc. Why? Because all that is still far better than where they come from.
I am glad to see that a large part of the British population is at least becoming aware of the outline of what is happening.
“Welsh people have started fighting back against the country’s new 20mph speed limit by painting over newly-erected road signs for the newly-restricted zones.
Furious locals spray painted over signs for the 20mph limit after Wales’s new rules came into force today as lorry drivers also vowed to show their opposition by driving at 19mph.
Photos show furious drivers have now started fighting back against the scheme by vandalising the newly-erected speed limit signs themselves. Drivers taking to the road were also left confused as many local authorities failed to put up the new signs ahead of the 20mph limit coming into force.
Some drivers said they were ‘scared’ to go out in case of being trapped by police, static cameras and mobile speed vans, with one elderly couple having cancelled their trip to Aberystwyth to visit family due to their fear of getting a £100 fine.“
Interesting. Not a new idea (it goes back a hundred years) but it looks as if it will not be long before robot domestics will really be part of everyday life.

.@Keir_Starmer tells @SkyNews his Net Zero targets "will lead to lower bills because renewables are much cheaper than fossil fuels…There's nobody that quarrels with the idea that if you get to clean power & renewables, the price of energy goes down"
Almost everyone knows that Keir Starmer would —and probably will— be an appallingly-bad Prime Minister, but after (to take some of the most recent and most obvious) David Cameron-Levita, Theresa May, “Boris”-idiot, Liz Truss, and now the Indian money-juggler, Sunak, I am not sure that many people really care.
The present Government is dying in an atmosphere of total public derision at its incompetence and pointlessness. Jewish-lobby puppet Starmer is almost a nullity, dull as ditchwater and disbelieved on all sides, but the 2024 General Election is his to lose after 13 years of pseudo-Conservative misgovernment.
Having said that, if the Government pledges to keep the Triple Lock on the State Pension, and if it uprates the same before the 2024 Election, that may help to keep on board the pensioner vote which is most of the hard core Conservative vote. Then it will be a question of whether any other groups will vote Con (if only negatively, i.e. to keep out Lab).
“Police officers quizzed a pensioner in her home on suspicion of a hate crime after she stopped in the street to take a photo of a sticker which said: ‘Keep males out of women-only spaces.’
The sticker had been placed on to a LGBT+ pride poster which had the slogan Stand By Your Trans. Officers told the 73-year-old retired social worker that she had been identified from CCTV footage.
The woman told The Mail on Sunday she was ‘in a state of shock’ when officers arrived at her door. The incident happened in Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire – the setting for BBC crime drama Happy Valley about no-nonsense policewoman Catherine Cawood. It comes after fury over police forces failing to send officers to investigate burglaries and other serious crimes.“
“West Yorkshire Police said it had recorded the matter as a ‘non-crime hate incident’, adding: ‘Words of advice were given regarding the placing of the sticker, as it was reported to have caused offence.‘
“Stella O’Malley, psychotherapist and founder of international group Genspect, said: ‘It’s not the job of the police to decide that taking a photo is a hate crime.‘”
[Daily Mail]
The UK’s toytown police once again caught enforcing the emergent “woke” police state.
Note the defiant attitude of the West Yorkshire police box-tickers when challenged, though. A bland refusal to engage.
The West Yorkshire Police seem to have missed the recent comments of both H.M. Inspector of Constabulary and those of the Home Secretary, to the effect that police should start to do their proper job, and stop acting like a poundland KGB (regular readers of the blog will be aware that I have had similar problems with the “plodosphere”…).
Strange. Having yesterday evening, on my birthday, finished the remains of a half-bottle of vintage Tokay, I was just recalling what happened to many of the secret police in Hungary during the Uprising of 1956 (the year of my own birth). It was not pleasant for them…
Wouldn’t you know it? The Jew Shapps whining about how “his family” (ancestors, a century and a half ago) were victims of “antisemitism”. Was that in Ukraine?
If all those people rebelling against the ULEZ nonsense were to cover up their registration numbers, then drive out at the same time or on the same day, the police and ULEZ enforcers would have to admit defeat (cf. Berlin Wall, 1989).
Interesting. However, London has probably never been so well-interconnected as it now is.
I notice that, had those 1940s plans been implemented, even the area north of Reigate (Surrey), where I —intermittently— lived in the late 1970s and early 1980s, would have been within 2-3 miles of the proposed Underground stations of Kingswood and Tadworth, which are now still only on the ordinary railway (Tattenham Corner line).
Britain needs a fixed period of maybe 5-10 years, in which time Parliament must be suspended and this country sorted-out by a social-national dictatorship. Whatever it takes.

A few thoughts
Just saw on Sky News that no less than 872 migrant-invader bastards crossed the Channel in small boats yesterday (meaning, mostly, travelled a few miles in small or fairly small boats before being picked up and ferried to Dover by the Border “Farce” and/or RNLI).
So…872 useless and possibly dangerous parasites, likely criminals, possible terrorist sympathisers etc…
Those 872 bastards have to be (meaning, will be) sheltered, housed, clothed, fed, given pocket money in or by English towns and villages, provided with medical and dental services, provided with translators, interpreter, and legal services, at a cost of at least £200 per person per day. Minimum. Probably closer to £500 per person per day.
The “refugees welcome” dimwits are often the same people who complain that services, pay, benefits for (real) British people are being cut. Those whom the Gods wish to destroy, they first make mad…
The pro-invasion dimwits cannot see, apparently, the connection between literally millions of invaders (both “legal” and “illegal”) over the past years and decades, and the shortages of housing, NHS services, and the rest. About 10 million migrant-invaders over 30 years (including births in the UK to —mostly non-white— migrants).
I believe that relatively few people can see the horror that awaits Britain only a few short decades down the line. Dystopia and civil war.

Frankly, that situation makes the UK more secure from nuclear attack, as things stand.
This concrete thing could be the final straw for the Tories. Everything in Britain feels like it’s going wrong and now we can’t even be sure our schools, hospitals and courtrooms won’t collapse around us. As a narrative of complacent decline it could hardly be more on the nose.
…and it turns out that the person most responsible for allowing it to happen was the snivelling little drunk and cocaine abuser (and expenses fraudster) Michael Gove, another Jewish-lobby puppet. It was a tweet about that little bastard which was one of merely five that resulted in my wrongful and unlawful disbarment (at the instigation of a pack of Jews) in 2016.
As the above tweeter says, though, this does feel somehow symptomatic of the complacent negligence and “where will they go?” casual entitlement (and accompanying casual social brutality to the poor, sick, disabled, unemployed etc) which has characterized politics in this country since 2010.
There is no popular enthusiasm for, nor even any solid support for, the Labour Party under Jewish-lobby puppets Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper etc, but in a basically binary system which excludes other parties, the voters are left with a stale choice. On that basis, this doomed Government is sliding to defeat, surely. What kind or magnitude of defeat, though, is still an open question.
Historical sidelight
In online open-source research into one or two characters, I discovered that there was a serious offer by Japan, sometime in 1944-45, and made to Swedish diplomats, for Japan to stop fighting, and to relinquish not only all territorial gains made since 1940, but even its (post-1931) rulership over parts of northeastern and eastern China: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Widar_Bagge.
Had that offer been taken seriously by the UK and USA, it would not only have saved innumerable lives on all sides intra-theatre, but would have rendered the atomic bomb attacks on Japan in 1945 unnecessary.
I can only suppose that the Allied leadership wanted Japan to be crushed, and then remade in the Western image, as indeed it later was, as part of the post-1945 restructuring of the international order.

Israeli food, some of it anyway, is quite healthy, and is one of the few aspects of their society which might be good to import to this country. Particularly good for health is some salad at breakfast, but it would be a hard task persuading most British people to adopt that.
Obviously, that Israeli breakfast is borrowed, much of it, from surrounding parts of the region; Lebanon and other Arab countries, but it is a pretty good mixture, anyway.

There is no question of any breakthrough of the first line of defense in the Zaporozhye region by Ukrainian troops, the Russian army is holding its positions , said the president of the Zaporozhye movement "Together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov.
Having said that, and acting as advocatus diaboli, let us suppose that the Kiev regime is speaking the truth for once. Let us suppose that the first line of defence (of, apparently, four) laid down by Russian forces has been breached. Let us suppose, further, that Kiev-regime forces can exploit that breach. Let us even suppose that they can breach all four defensive lines. What then?
The Kiev regime does not have the quantum of armour and infantry to breach all four defensive lines and then go on to take the major towns and cities of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Still less can the depleted Ukrainian Army go further, to invade the vast spaces of European Russia proper (which would anyway be a farcical repeat of the mistakes of both Napoleon and Hitler).
All that can happen, the most that can happen, is for the Ukrainian (Kiev-regime) forces to breach the defensive lines, then somehow hold on and bring up artillery with which to attack the civilian towns and cities in the Donetsk/Lugansk regions held by Russian forces (and now designated by them as part of Russia).
Russia has overwhelming air power, still mostly unused. Then there are its missiles. Soon winter will come to Ukraine, sometime in November, so within 2 months from now. Once the ground is hard, the Russian armour will come into its own.
I had thought that the much-trumpeted “Ukrainian counter-offensive” had already failed. It may be that, in one small southern sector of the overall front, that is not so, and that the Kiev-regime forces are still advancing slowly. Perhaps,; but for how long?
I think that, on the high-command level and above, the Russians are waiting to see what happens politically; in the USA, and in EU states as well. A change of US President may mean a change of attitude, and a change of policy.
If the 2024 US Presidential Election results in a President who continues the open-chequebook support for Zelensky and his cabal, Russia may take the gloves off, and destroy totally the rear areas from where the Ukrainian soldiers and their logistical support come. Kiev etc.
Incidentally, I saw analysis by Sean Bell, ex-RAF Air Vice Marshal, on Sky News. Very pro-Kiev regime, as far as I could judge (or he would probably not be on Sky News…). Cannot say that I much valued his presentation, but time will tell.

No wonder that journalists, MPs, ministers of foreign governments etc read this blog.“
