Until a couple of years ago, a very unprofessional NHS psychiatrist prolific online, one Tim G. Stevens, often insulted me on Twitter/X (not that such has ever bother me; water off a duck’s back). Stevens even made up, years ago, a story to the effect that I, satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz, and another, were plotting to attack him and his family (wife and two daughters) at their home in or near Loughton, Essex. I happened to be watching a recorded episode of Celebrity Chase quiz show. I only recognized two of the four “celebrities”, one of which was the unpleasant, and at one time more famous, Janet Street-Porter. She, like so many “celebrities” on such shows, displayed an almost total lack of knowledge. My problem with that is that such people are put before the public on TV and radio etc as if sage, or at least sensible. They are usually neither.
