As mentioned in yesterday’s blog post [https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/11/27/diary-blog-27-november-2021/], I heard and later saw parts of Nick Robinson’s interview with Keir Starmer. Now, because it has been recycled several times on BBC World TV, I have seen most of the rest of it.
Overall impression? What an incredible “cuck”, in the American vernacular, that man is! Actually, his manner reminds me of another weasel, now deceased: Cecil Parkinson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecil_Parkinson]. There is even a passing physical resemblance:

I doubt, however, that Starmer is a shit, in the personal realm, on anything like (if at all) the level that Parkinson was:

It would be surprising if Starmer, a former Director of Public Prosecutions, were not a freemason, though I concede that I have no direct evidence that he is.
I ought to add that I once knew a woman who was seated alongside Parkinson at a State banquet, some time not long after the scandal with Sara Keays. That woman said that Parkinson was quite sympathetic in his manner. Maybe he went down better with women; I always thought that he deserved a good kick.
Reverting to that Nick Robinson interview, obviously Starmer is not a clown and pathetic waste of space in the “Boris” Johnson mode, but actually I can see why he has not really cut through to the public, despite Johnson’s incredible lack of ability and competence.
Starmer, like a good mid-range lawyer, makes the right noises: Channel migration invasion must be dealt with by “cross-border co-operation“, and the “upstream causes” dealt with, said he.
What does that mean? “Upstream causes“? So…wars and socio-economic problems in places such as Iraq, Kurdistan, Syria, Afghanistan, black Africa etc? How will Starmer “deal with”, or cure, those? Answer came there none, methinks.
The only thing that Starmer looked at all passionate about, or even interested in, was so-called “anti-Semitism”, with the focus on his Jewish wife and half-Jewish children. I saw no real interest in (or policy concerning) the huge poverty that does exist in the UK in places, made worse by continuing mass immigration. Housing problems, the same.
It may be that Starmer does take an interest in those social, and so political, problems, but if so he failed to actually convey any great interest. That is of importance in a supposedly “democratic” political leader.
Hitler talked about “dirty democratic politicians“. We are now in a contest between the sheer incompetence and corruption of the “Boris” regime, and the —if you like— “managerial semi-socialism” of a Keir Starmer Labour offering. No wonder the opinion polls show a stalemate at present.
Looking again at Parkinson’s Wikipedia entry, interesting to note that he achieved high office despite having come from unmoneyed, modest, and indeed humble, origins. Something increasingly rare in our own day.

I have only known personally two people who have knowingly contracted “the virus”. Two people! In nearly 2 years! Both in 2020. One was my late —nothing to do with “Covid”, incidentally— and then 98 y o mother-in law, who only knew she had “the virus” because she was routinely tested while in hospital for another, and completely different, problem. She had no symptoms, despite her age, infirmity, and existing medical conditions, and was discharged a few weeks later. Like so many others , she only contracted “Covid” because she was staying in one of the NHS’s shambolic hospitals.
The other person I know who has had “Covid-19” is my 20-something Australian niece, living in London, who was advised to take paracetamol, drink water, and rest! So much for the (unused) emergency “Nightingale” hospitals etc! She lost taste and smell for a week or so, had a few other symptoms, but soon made a full recovery without the need for any NHS medical assistance at all, unless you count the “take paracetamol and drink water” “advice” (given over the telephone).

As my blog’s regular readers will know, I usually steer clear of Scottish internal politics. I do not purport to know a great deal about Scottish politics, and have never even been there. Having said that, the SNP and its peculiar cranky little leader, Nicola Sturgeon, cannot be entirely ignored.
The SNP, which had almost no MPs until six years ago (it took about 40 years just to get one), took off in 2015, and is still in precarious power north of the border.
The SNP benefits from not being Conservative, Labour, or LibDem. Simply that. Scotland was once rock-solid Labour, but a few years of Blair’s pathetic, smug, and dishonest henchman, Jim Murphy (and general trends), put paid to that. Labour now has only one Westminster MP from Scotland.
As the Spectator article notes, only half of the Scottish electorate (in fact, at present, less than half— 47%) favour Independence, the number one policy of the SNP.
Surely Scotland could not and would not break away from the UK if only a tiny majority voted to leave the Union?
In reality, what if even , say, 57% favoured Independence? Would that really be enough to tear Scotland from England? It might be far more divisive in Scotland than the Leave result was in the UK overall in 2016.

On that modelling, Labour would need support from both the SNP and the LibDems to form even a working minority government; the Conservative Party would in theory be able to govern with SNP support. However, the price of that would be, at the least, another Scottish Independence referendum.
Writing as advocatus diabolus, I suppose that the Conservative Party could buy the SNP by offering actual Independence without a referendum, but that might cause a political explosion north of the border, where about half of the Scottish voters are opposed to, or at least not in favour of, “independence” (independence from the UK/England, but not necesssarily from the international finance system, NWO/ZOG, NATO etc…).
Still, continuing in the cynical vein, and as I have blogged before, if Scotland were “independent” (from the UK), that would pretty much kill off Labour as a party of (“rump UK” or England/Wales) government. Saw an old (not sure how old) “celebrity” version of The Chase quiz show. Featured Jewish-Zionist zealot Rachel Riley, who seemed to be pretty ignorant, though not much worse than the others. Those who watch TV quiz shows will know that the “celebrity” shows are invariably cringeworthy, and lead one to speculate why hugely well-paid celebrity faces are often so hugely ignorant. Keir Starmer
Heard part of an interview with Keir Starmer, conducted by Nick Robinson. Starmer’s first point, even before it was explored further by Robinson, was how he had done everything he could to stop “anti-Semitism” in Labour (I think that his pleasant phrase was “tear out“…).
Seems that Starmer’s only real interest is in bringing aid and comfort to the Jews, despite the fact that they are numerically few (250,000-300,000), and so relatively insignificant in electoral terms.
Starmer admitted that, at home, his family does celebrate Jewish customary holidays. Sadly, Nick Robinson was too polite to ask whether Starmer, on such occasions, wears the little skullcap (“yarmulka“) which I believe (rightly or not) is de rigueur.
On radio (the interview was also shown on TV), Robinson’s intro mentioned the problem Starmer has with seeming credible to the public were he to appear, as Prime Minister, on the step of 10, Downing Street. I am scarcely favourable to Starmer but, surely, after Boris-idiot, almost anyone would be credible, or at least not seem worse?

I was once slightly acquainted with the family of a girl from London who told me, when I last encountered her (on a train from Blackheath to London Bridge, sometime in the mid-1980s), that she was going to work in the (then just going to open) Body Shop in Moscow.

Australia, which when I was there as a schoolboy in the late 1960s, was an entirely white European, mainly Anglo country (yes, there were some Aboriginals too, mainly in the bush, especially in the Northern Territory), has now a white European (including Southern European) population around 90% of the whole. Idly perusing Wikipedia, I saw that the Danish Army now consists of about 25,000 men (and women), 63,000 reserves, and about 600 tracked and wheeled armoured vehicles.
Modest on the world scale, of course, but I now see that the British Army, once mighty, now has only 82,000 active personnel, little more than three times the Danish equivalent, and only 30,000 reserves.
In fact, proportionately, Denmark has far more troops than does the UK, because the population of Denmark is less than a tenth of that of the UK.
Of course, mere numbers are only part of the story in the contemporary era, where technology plays such a big part. All the same, numbers are still part of the story.
At the end of the Second World War, the total strength of the British Army was over 3 million, and even in 1980, just before the Falklands campaign, 159,000 active and 63,000 reserves.
The notional 82,000 active troops in 2021 would be the lowest muster since 1780. Of course the population was then a fraction of what it now is: even in 1801, when the first British census was taken, England and Wales had only 10.5 million inhabitants (and Ireland about 5 million, interestingly).

The British armed forces overall have about 10% of their numbers women. How effective they are is a question for others to answer.
As to the Army generally, one sees reports that of the 82,000 active soldiers claimed, only about 50,000 are actually fit for duty. In any case, very many are what the Americans call “rear echelon” forces, not frontline fighting men. Not that that means that those rear forces are useless. Napoleon himself pointed out that “an army marches on its stomach“, and in the modern era a fighting spearhead needs a very broad rear support, everything from supply and logistics to pensions and banking.
Still, at a time when the clownish political leadership of the UK seems intent on provoking Russia, I wonder how our forces would, if push came to shove, stack up against at least the more elite Russian contingents.

I cannot read the names on the U.S. military document below, but some persons without military rank are suggesting destruction of the structure. Probably Jews; who else, arguably, would make such a vandalistic suggestion? “…most offensive” and “dangerous“? Typical language, also arguably. We see the same terms used by the Zionists in 2021 Britain.
In the UK, Jews are at the forefront of the free speech battle, constantly trying to use “lawfare” and undue influence to shut down free speech, in particular any mention of Jews that is not laudatory, as well as any critical examination of their history and behaviour.

The System will say anything, and apparently do anything, to get enmeshed in Eastern Europe. Remember 1939 (or at least remember reading about it)? The governments of Britain and France gave the government of Poland a worthless guarantee, that is that Britain and France would come to the aid of Poland were it to be attacked.
Well, we know what happened. Germany did attack, and that triggered declarations of war against Germany by Britain and France, but —crucially— no troops or ships were sent to aid Poland. None.
The British and French governments used Germany’s invasion as an excuse to declare war, but Poland was left to sink or swim. The upshot of the above is that Britain did not help Poland and —again crucially— never could have done. Neither Britain nor France could have opposed the massive forces of the German Reich and the Soviet Union, yet it was the worthless joint guarantee which (together with the refusal by Churchill to conclude armistice in 1940, after the Fall of France) condemned much of Europe to years of war.
Surely the “British” government is not about to repeat in some farcical form its mistakes of 1938 and 1939? NATO is becoming aggressive in the East.

I have only one problem with the young man who was on trial, which is that he should have shown more of a stiff upper lip at that trial.
As for Paul Mason, and as I have blogged previously, some of his writings on economics have been interesting, but from the political point of view he is a complete idiot.
Incidentally, I often wondered, when Mason was on TV regularly, and when he posted on Twitter, why he is so venomously against social-nationalism. I discovered that he is part-Jew. That may account for it.
